We go to Juju Gotti
giving us all the goods in the post-game.
Juju, first question I have for you: Do you have a favorite time travel movie?
Dang, that's a good question.
It's hard to narrow it down to one.
I definitely agree with Taylor 12 and Bill and Ted has to have some consideration there because they went and got Honest Abe.
You don't just go back and get Honest Abe, you feel me?
As well as Mozark, they went went and got some prominent features.
I'm watching the show right now called Foundation where Time Travel is a little bit like that.
I don't know.
I'm just going to submit a show, the show Dark on Netflix.
I keep hearing about this show.
That's a good time travel movie.
Yeah, because they go back and they actually got actors that look just like the actor could have looked whenever they were that age.
So
yeah, why it's dark?
Let me, I have a confession to make.
I am a sucker for any show that casts people that look like the older versions or the younger versions of themselves.
Like when they nail the casting, I'm so in.
About 35% of the reason why I love Righteous Gemstones is those flashback episodes they have once a year where those kids who not only look like they're the younger versions, but they act like them so well too.
I'm like, how is this possible?
How are they doing this?
So, okay, so dark, I'll put it on the list.
I keep hearing good things, but I wasn't sure.
What about prison movies?
Because Zaz
loves prison movies as well.
Do you have a few prison movies?
I made, I was listening to that when y'all was talking about the time travel.
I made my top five prison movies that I could think of in my lifetime.
OLI,
welcome to the rock.
Come on, man.
You got to know.
You got to know.
Also, OLI,
doing Doing Hard Time
with Boris Kojo and Michael K.
Williams.
Deep, deep black cut right there.
Also, OLI, CB4.
You got to know that.
That's not a prison.
I mean, the dude was in prison, but it wasn't a prison movie.
He was telling the story.
Make your own list.
Also, last OLI, Law of Body Citizen.
That was a go.
Number five,
Was he in prison?
He was on the run.
That's a TV show, isn't it?
The Fugitive?
Greg.
Greg, no other movie.
Come on now.
The movie itself is a super old reference.
To date it back to the source material, that's petrified.
Come on.
I'd be surprised if my dad could name three prison movies.
I can name two.
Besides ones that you've already heard.
Go on.
No, no, the number one of all time is Shaw Shack Redemption.
Yeah.
Okay.
Nice.
And then another one that I personally like, a whole different genre, The Longest Yard.
Wasn't that a TV show?
It was just a wild
fugitive?
The one-armed man.
That's something they were saying in 1994.
Hey, wasn't that a TV show?
Now it's just
I know, but the TV show is from the 70s.
Yeah, it's in the 60s.
I know episode 1960.
God is ass.
Yeah.
It's just a dated
man.
The one-armed man.
The one-armed man.
All right.
We got to make our own list, as Juju said, but wasn't the whole point of that movie to not be in jail?
It's like,
hold on.
I'm stuck with Greg here.
It's like saying Scarface, and you're like, oh, yeah, with Edward G.
Robinson.
Like, I mean, yeah, but like most people hear Scarface, they think of the 1980s one, not the one from 1930-something.
Okay, but if you come out with a movie called The Twilight Zone, I'm sorry, but it emanates from The Twilight Zone with Rod Serling.
Juju, put it on the poll for tomorrow.
What's more famous, the Fugitive TV show or the Fugitive Removal?
Oh, I would love to see the result of that poll.
All of you.
The shit talk from Greg Cody.
I'm a star.
You don't know your audience.
I do.
That's right.
Most of them will know the TV show.
TV show.
When you hear Ocean's 11, who do you think of?
You know, I don't know.
Frankie?
Who?
Juju, because then you're listening.
Oh, Blue Eyes.
Oh, Frankie.
Where is Juju?
Absolutely.
That's one of them lies that Amin was talking about earlier.
Bray don't give a damn about that poll result, man.
I run it on my side.
But I do agree with y'all.
How did I think about it?
Yeah, the whole point was to stay out of prison in the future.
So, yeah, mulligan for that one.
Number four, Conair.
Prison in the sky counts.
Well, they started in prison and they were being transported to another prison.
So technically, yes, I'm going to allow it.
That plane was a prison that got overtaken.
I like it.
Number three, The Shaoshan Redemption.
That was a book, you know, Greg.
That's like, what did you say?
Oh, the book?
The Stephen King book?
Number two, Vatos Locos Forever.
Blood in, Blood Out.
Come on, man.
I used to watch that like every day at a certain point in my life.
Come on.
It was Edward James Almosa.
Who was in that?
Yeah, everybody was in it too.
Like more people than you think.
And the number one movie, of course, Life.
Eddie Murphy, I see you.
Marin Lawrence, let's get it.
That was an all-sarcast as well.
Hell yeah, man.
Also, earlier,
David Sampson was talking about the movie Freaky Tales.
He gave a spoiler alert, but that spoiler isn't necessarily going to ruin it for you.
You feel me?
I think you should still check it out.
It's a great story.
I watched it on the plane.
I mean, if you're going on the plane back, that's a movie you watch on the plane.
I got it.
You feel me?
I will do that, but first I have to finish Peacemaker season one because season two comes tomorrow, and I'm very excited.
I did that yesterday.
Here you go.
Hell of a show, right?
Uh-huh.
What are the polls that we got to update, Juju?
Yes, sir.
Let me get this poll.
While I'm getting to the polls, thank you for your service, John Wall.
DeJohn Wall has retired from the game of of basketball.
Salute.
He just announced it.
Did he ever do big three?
He never did big three, did he?
I think he was around.
I'm not sure.
No, I just saw Juju do it.
Is that John Walls?
Like, he was that dude.
Wall.
Right.
He was a good Dougie year, as they say.
But yeah, him and...
I'm not sure if he was in the big three, but Zazz keeps slandering the big three.
We can't have that big three to slander.
Them boys trying the best.
And I think the excitement is worth it.
You know what I'm saying?
Like Lance and Mike Beasley, they excited.
They excited.
Sometimes you lose it.
You go to the NBA.
You'd be like, damn, I'm playing in front of 100,000 every day.
Then they go without it.
And now they get a little glimpse back into that world.
Man, we're going to hype this thing.
Juju, baby.
Juju, do you agree that you're allowed to celebrate a game winner on any level, however the hell you want?
I mean, people can get that jacked up for a pickup game at a gym.
Exactly.
Exactly.
The only game-winning celebration that I don't like, and I hate because my boys used to do it D-Wade.
I hate when the player be like, This my shit.
This my shit.
It's like this.
The whole team got us to the fourth quarter for it to be this close, brother or sister.
My house.
Right.
Peter Wark used to do that shit.
I believed it.
Oh, Lord.
The poll we had from today:
best cream cheese, block or whipped?
And 67% of the audience said, whipped.
Oh, wow.
Crazy.
People don't get it.
I'm the voice of the voiceless.
We don't have a lot of Jews in this audience, apparently.
I'm right here, baby.
I got you.
We got two right there.
Yes, sir.
And earlier, last thing before we get out of here, you've mentioned that you was at the Pacers
Knicks game in the playoffs, which just reminded me, bro, how crazy that Halliburton shot was, bro.
I still can't believe he hit that shot.
What a great game!
What a great series!
I wish I was at that game.
I was at the one where they got blown out, game five.
But that was a great game and a great series, and I'm excited for basketball to come back.
Thank you, Juju.
Everyone, check out
Juju's show.
Eyeball hoops, baby.
Oh, not eyeball hoops,
DLS hoops.
You dig it.
