Speaker 17 You know, whether you are doing traditional Thanksgiving, a friend's giving, or something in between, Whole Foods Market has great everyday prices on all the things you need for Thanksgiving.

Speaker 17 And remember, Prime gives you shop online and delivery or pickup as you like.

Speaker 18 Now, where do the lot of you think ye be going? Especially on a night as inhospitable as this one.

Speaker 18 Stay where you are, or I swear to God, I'll shove this landing right up your ass.

Speaker 14 You hear me, you fuck!

Speaker 18 What a foul wind gusts from that mouth of yours. Foul as the gutters that roil in ripple through the bowels of hell itself.

Speaker 18 But I fear not the sons of man.

Speaker 18 Now you, on the other hand, hand, my jaws can press your skull softer than apple pulp by the time ye take another breath.

Speaker 19 You don't fool us. We know you can't damage the future vessels of the Soda clan.

Speaker 18 So ye know the truth, do ye? Too bad it'll avail ye nothing. The powers of hell are now aligned against you, and the fires will surely have the bounty.
You shall know as much this very night.

Speaker 18 We got no choice but to make a break for it. Maybe a few of us can get away.

Speaker 8 Look out. Here comes another one.

Speaker 19 I'm afraid the time for escape has long passed.

Speaker 19 There is only the grim inevitability of your final moments upon this world.

Speaker 14 Thereafter, time shall move like a wounded slug, and thy pain and screams screams will be thine only company.

Speaker 14 No pain!

Speaker 14 No!

Speaker 14 Oh shit, there's more of a

Speaker 14 surrounding us!

Speaker 14 And ye shall cry out unto the void.

Speaker 14 Is there not one who can save me from this terrible feat?

Speaker 14 And the void shall answer

Speaker 14 with silence

Speaker 14 over there

Speaker 14 the Trico trees

Speaker 14 dies and turns to dust,

Speaker 21 ye shall know only the the titter and hiss of shadows and sin.

Speaker 21 Get that fuck away from us.

Speaker 21 No, please, no.

Speaker 8 Well, there's Pitch Point Road. Coltsbarrow's right on the other side.

Speaker 11 It looks like the surrounding storm is starting to close in.

Speaker 16 The circle about the city is shrinking.

Speaker 23 Whatever's happening seems to be progressing appreciably.

Speaker 12 Namely, the solder's being risen up.

Speaker 14 I don't know how we're going to sneak a tractor trailer in there.

Speaker 8 Well, without it, we won't have the resonator thingy to keep us from getting lost in whatever place the mist sent us to.

Speaker 11 Getting all the way here will do us very little good if we find ourselves stranded in Sheol again.

Speaker 23 And who knows if we'd ever find our way out again.

Speaker 8 I'm starting to feel like we're leaning too much on this idea that something up there is helping us. The guns and walkies we found behind the Resinair likely belonged to those feds.

Speaker 8 And the Resinair belonged to the Ingersolls. Which could very well mean this truck got loaded up with the shit they took off our guys.

Speaker 3 After they took them out.

Speaker 23 I think you're right.

Speaker 25 We're placing a lot of faith in the belief that we've been led here to help, but

Speaker 23 for my part, I intend to keep doing just that.

Speaker 8 And here, I thought you were an atheist.

Speaker 23 Atheists aren't committed to a disbelief in the paranormal or even the divine. We are, however, committed to evidence and the truth.

Speaker 23 Here, while there is no definitive proof of something benevolent guiding us, there is ample evidence.

Speaker 8 The map shows that Cold Sparrow's a little ways off on the other side of the woods. So we could drive to the point where the city's in view and then see what's what.
It's really all we can do.

Speaker 14 If that's our only choice,

Speaker 8 I'll cut the lights and coasts when I can to reduce noise.

Speaker 19 The mist is pretty thick here.

Speaker 26 I don't think we're alone. Look!

Speaker 21 Are they the same things from the bridge?

Speaker 14 I can barely make them out.

Speaker 18 And over there, looks like a massive stone ruin.

Speaker 12 It's just as I thought. The closer we draw to the epicenter, the weaker the Resonator's range becomes.

Speaker 18 The field is shrinking beneath the weight of the Dan's power. And as it does, our sight into She-Hol deepens.

Speaker 12 Just as She-Hol's gaze turns upon us.

Speaker 12 Let's hope that Dan's strength doesn't outgrow the Resonator's protection,

Speaker 12 or we will be staring into the abyss unshielded.

Speaker 8 I hate to say it, but the mist could work to our advantage. If Realdi is all kinds of mucked up, and the Resonator holds, we could drive right into the city without anyone knowing.

Speaker 8 Of course, we still have to find everyone. But hey, it's a start.

Speaker 14 Forest, the trees.

Speaker 14 They look like Redwoods. They're so big.

Speaker 14 And their limbs. They're all swaying in different directions.

Speaker 12 I suspect the governing physics of Sheol is not the same as we are used to. Even parts of the sky are different.

Speaker 8 I can see spots of just dead gray light where the thunderheads were.

Speaker 8 I really hope the resonator holds.

Speaker 21 Seems like the battery's full and getting juice from the engine through the charging cables.

Speaker 14 So we're all set.

Speaker 21 Well, at least until we run out of gas.

Speaker 26 What are you doing?

Speaker 12 If reality is being scrambled, for lack of a better word, then I would think that a radio receiver might be prone to picking up unconventional information.

Speaker 24 And any information at this point is good information.

Speaker 8 Okay, so long as it won't give us away or anything.

Speaker 21 The receiver's inside the resonator's field, so it should work just fine.

Speaker 14 But the info it's picking up might be a little...

Speaker 14 off.

Speaker 14 Kind of like the light.

Speaker 21 We're safe under the field, but the light coming in from outside's been changed by its contacts with Shoal.

Speaker 8 You say so.

Speaker 8 I behold the pits of Gehenna,

Speaker 8 dawning wide across the pallid fields of Neveron, Neveron,

Speaker 8 where the damned wail and ulcerate in the fever of a thousand tortures.

Speaker 8 Again, the tides of resurgence swell.

Speaker 8 Let us whisper our prayers that those soon to ascend will not forget the fading multitude,

Speaker 8 and that

Speaker 8 in their sacred greed,

Speaker 8 they might quicken us once more for the service only we were born to red.

Speaker 8 Make sure the guards are invisible to the lead procession.

Speaker 1 And make sure no one's got their flashlights on.

Speaker 14 Wait, go back.

Speaker 6 To the one right before this.

Speaker 14 What did you hear?

Speaker 8 Quiet.

Speaker 29 Encircle the mansion and face away from it. If anyone comes at us, it'll be from the other guard.

Speaker 11 Sounds like some kind of security detail.

Speaker 8 According to the stuff I grabbed off the internet, the only mansion in Cold Sparrow is the old Veer's place.

Speaker 18 That must be the location they're conducting the ritual to bring up the Sodders.

Speaker 8 I guess hey, this whole reality warping thing's really working in our favor. The CB shouldn't be able to pick up their walkies, which is what I assume they're using to coordinate the guys.

Speaker 29 Before the ritual begins, have the sisters brought out and locked in the guest house. We'll be taking them with us when we leave.
Roger that.

Speaker 29 We've also loaded all the materials from the labyrinth. We should have it all locked down by the time the ritual concludes.

Speaker 8 Sounds like they've got the Ingersolls. The fact that they didn't mention the feds makes me think they have them too.

Speaker 14 Let us hope they are still alive.

Speaker 14 Well,

Speaker 14 where the fuck are we?

Speaker 14 What the

Speaker 14 Wake up!

Speaker 19 Wake up, you guys!

Speaker 19 I'm awake.

Speaker 30 Oh, Christ, they tied us all up.

Speaker 21 What time is it?

Speaker 9 Oh, God. They have us.
They have us.

Speaker 30 Margaret, get a hold of yourself. We'll get out of this, I promise.

Speaker 31 It's almost midnight.

Speaker 20 The ritual must be taking place at 3 a.m.

Speaker 21 Black noon.

Speaker 18 We're in the attic, I think.

Speaker 27 I came up here while I was making sure Norm was hiding out.

Speaker 28 Therefore, I got back to all those potty balloons and shit.

Speaker 14 Listen.

Speaker 14 I've seen many a soul pass through this house, but none so cunning as thee.

Speaker 14 Round and round we went, like the fox seeking to outstep the hounds.

Speaker 19 But at last, we've run thee to ground.

Speaker 14 Fuck you, you old hag.

Speaker 19 Hush now, creature of noise and fury.

Speaker 32 And not besides.

Speaker 14 Mercy Sparrow, you leave him be.

Speaker 14 As thou wilt.

Speaker 14 But mind thy wagging tongue, boy.

Speaker 22 I'll not abide insolence a second time.

Speaker 19 Tis near a pity to see me below, Phyllis Chambers.

Speaker 19 How thou hast grown.

Speaker 19 Ah, in time,

Speaker 19 thou might have made a proper crone thyself.

Speaker 14 Dark waters stir within that rotting breast of thine, to be sure.

Speaker 19 But mayhatch those breathless wonders shall be joined once more.

Speaker 19 When next thy flesh is filled with another soul.

Speaker 14 Please, just let us go, please.

Speaker 14 Oh,

Speaker 14 sweet little Margaret,

Speaker 19 I can scent thy fear from the pitch-pot woods,

Speaker 14 like a child shivering beneath her quilt, while the shadows under her bed do stretch to swallow her whole.

Speaker 19 So much study to guard thyself from the dark.

Speaker 19 Yet thou learnest thy last lesson now.

Speaker 19 Books be no blight to the wicked.

Speaker 19 Soon enough, when our dread work is wrought,

Speaker 19 we may yet lay thee in a pit of fire and screams.

Speaker 19 Don't listen to her.

Speaker 21 She's...

Speaker 14 I watch, dear heart.

Speaker 14 False?

Speaker 18 Nay, Patricia, I've no need to bargain for thy will.

Speaker 21 Life will do anything to linger, even but a breath longer.

Speaker 21 And though I told thee plain, that when thy years of service be spent, thou shalt still be sent below.

Speaker 19 Thou wouldst labor all the same, glad for the meager hours we've grunted thee, like some poor beast worked to death beneath her master's yoke.

Speaker 19 All of ye be damned, and I shall see thee to the precipice of hell.

Speaker 19 The Erlorn and Virs were blood-related.

Speaker 20 That's why you could exchange Ben for Cyrus. But there's no bond between us.

Speaker 19 Isn't there now?

Speaker 19 What bond be greater than the one that ties killer

Speaker 14 to the killed?

Speaker 19 The Soda's blood stains thy hand

Speaker 19 and shall be the means by which the deed will be done.

Speaker 19 You've shown your own sins,

Speaker 19 and now you will shrink by them.

Speaker 20 Is that what you've come to do? Gloat?

Speaker 20 Or are you just here to do his bidding? Edgar, the one who freed you and your hideous siblings from below?

Speaker 14 Dost Dost thou think thou knowest me, old woman?

Speaker 19 Thou knowest nothing.

Speaker 19 Calling us by our earthly names, mocking as though we were children?

Speaker 19 We are gathered here by the grace of the darkest sparrow.

Speaker 19 He whose mark is greater even than the soldiers.

Speaker 19 T'was he who knew us before we knew ourselves.

Speaker 19 He who showed old Hester where to dig. He who raised us up and returned us to the night.

Speaker 19 And it is he who ordains thy descent and the soldiers' return.

Speaker 22 I,

Speaker 19 he sent me unto thee to see that thy spirit was made ready,

Speaker 14 that it was ripe for the flame.

Speaker 14 And I find it so.

Speaker 31 Is that what you did to the people of Cold Sparrow? Damned the whole city?

Speaker 31 Ah.

Speaker 19 The fair mystery that first lured ye to Cold Sparrow.

Speaker 19 And here it stands at last.

Speaker 14 Laid bare before ye.

Speaker 19 And not a whisper of good shall come from knowing.

Speaker 19 For before the great flood that washed away all our blessed wickedness fell from the heavens, the ways of resurgence were many and full of might.

Speaker 19 The people of an entire city could be drawn down beneath the earth, and hell would yield her bounty like the ripest harlot.

Speaker 22 Thus were the damned made plentiful,

Speaker 19 creating...

Speaker 14 and destroying cities as we pleased,

Speaker 19 sowing our children from suffering and skin and sin alike.

Speaker 19 But then the rains came.

Speaker 14 The silent one from above turned its stinging will upon us.

Speaker 19 Away were washed the damned and the elder ways of our kind.

Speaker 19 Thousands of years have since fled, our numbers slow in their gathering.

Speaker 19 And now, at last, a meagre potency hath returned. For the first time in centuries, the seeds of the old ways are sown once more.
A rite long forgotten by the rising waters.

Speaker 19 One path, tried and true for the man in the mansion. For the heirlorn could not be suffered to linger below.

Speaker 19 and another

Speaker 19 bolder right for the city and its muling man-children

Speaker 30 So the people didn't vanish at all

Speaker 14 they

Speaker 19 They flew away upon the wind into the secret parts of the world their souls swapped with those from below

Speaker 19 Every man, woman, and child, just a second skin for the damned. Aye, they are abroad even now, doing the darkest work.

Speaker 19 Casting shadows that unsettle sense and stone and steel alike.

Speaker 19 Turning eyes whose very glance doth blight baits yet unborn.

Speaker 19 Speaking words that make the very air unwholesome, and poison the ears that dare hearken.

Speaker 19 And soon thy bodies shalt join us in this dreadful toil,

Speaker 22 whilst thy spirits doth writhe and wither in a pit of boiling hell.

Speaker 19 Now, bide with little time that's been given ye,

Speaker 19 for Black Noon cometh.

Speaker 7 Jesus,

Speaker 7 look at that.

Speaker 7 My God,

Speaker 14 It's full of shadows.

Speaker 14 Like

Speaker 14 there's a giant magic lantern turning at the center of the city.

Speaker 18 Yes.

Speaker 18 Shadows loosed from the bowels of hell, no doubt.

Speaker 18 Set free by the damned.

Speaker 8 Whatever's going on, the shadows seem to be fading before they make contact with the truck.

Speaker 3 I guess that means the resonator is still doing its thing.

Speaker 14 The circular clearing above the city. The sky.

Speaker 14 It's like a hole opening above our heads.

Speaker 8 Where are you going?

Speaker 23 The mansion's this way.

Speaker 8 This whole reality mashup may have thrown us some cover, but I'm still not driving straight down the main drag.

Speaker 11 Map shows quite a few side streets.

Speaker 8 Gotta take this one here. Should put us pretty close to the mansion.

Speaker 14 Some of these buildings are

Speaker 18 monstrous, like

Speaker 18 idols to strange gods.

Speaker 8 I'd rather keep my eyes on the road than the scenery. Better for my mental health.
A wise choice.

Speaker 21 What are you planning to do once we get close to the mansion?

Speaker 8 Listen to the radio and wait for an opening to do what we came to do. And finish loading these guns with soap bullets.

Speaker 8 If I can get them into those feds' hands, assuming they're even here, and with all of us packing, we might, just might, have have a ghost of a chance.

Speaker 21 I think I can handle that.

Speaker 31 What the fuck do you want? Delivering our last meal?

Speaker 5 You've been granted special treatment.

Speaker 27 You can take your special treatment and you can stick it right back up your ass.

Speaker 8 You're very funny.

Speaker 5 But I'd rather put it in your arms.

Speaker 30 What the hell's in those? What are you shooting us up with?

Speaker 8 Just a mild sedative, which you'll be grateful for when the time comes.

Speaker 5 You see, this particular ritual is normally performed on a single person.

Speaker 5 So many of you, we're obligated to make sure things go

Speaker 14 smoothly.

Speaker 21 Get away from me with that! Get away!

Speaker 19 Leave her alone, you sons of bitches!

Speaker 18 One of the ropes! I'm I'm gonna feed you, you lone ass!

Speaker 19 Put the syringes down and untie our ropes.

Speaker 9 Put

Speaker 9 put

Speaker 5 put

Speaker 5 down the

Speaker 19 now,

Speaker 19 put them down and untie our ropes.

Speaker 5 I gotta untie

Speaker 12 the ropes.

Speaker 5 Yes, I untie them.

Speaker 14 What the fuck? When did you learn to to do that, Phil?

Speaker 20 A story for another time.

Speaker 31 Hold on, I'll check for weapons.

Speaker 22 Come here, you son of a bitch.

Speaker 22 What?

Speaker 14 The hell's happening?

Speaker 31 We got one sig sour P320 in a walkie, not much else.

Speaker 19 Let go of me, you bastard!

Speaker 31 You say another word, and you'll be talking through the hole in your temple. Understand?

Speaker 30 What are we gonna do with him?

Speaker 28 I got an idea.

Speaker 30 Oh, Jesus, Mace.

Speaker 31 He got off light. Now let's see what's playing on the radio.

Speaker 29 Everyone, finish your sweeps and get back to the Hall of Pronto. We're running behind schedule.

Speaker 29 Arger Liam, hit idiom.

Speaker 29 Captain, we're on our way.

Speaker 12 We better get a move on before it realizes asswipe's gone.

Speaker 27 Either way I see it, if we can outrun these fucks till at least Black Noon's come and gone,

Speaker 28 I don't know. Maybe we'll have some kind of chance.

Speaker 14 But those things are out there, and we don't have the lantern anymore.

Speaker 30 Once Black Noon comes and goes, the mist should recede.

Speaker 30 It always has before.

Speaker 30 We'll just have to be careful not to run into those things. We've gotta take the chance.

Speaker 31 Alright, let's get the fuck out of here.

Speaker 28 Looks like the coast's clear.

Speaker 27 I'm guessing most of the heats downstairs are scattered around outside the mansion.

Speaker 31 There's a fire escape right down the hall. Shouldn't take us more than a second or two to get there.

Speaker 20 We need to move quickly. I can feel the minds of the damned.
It won't be long long till they sense us.

Speaker 30 I'm ready whenever you guys are. Okay,

Speaker 18 that's it.

Speaker 31 Okay, everyone out. Mace, you first.
I'll take up rear. Gotcha.

Speaker 1 Wait, where's Margaret?

Speaker 20 I dunno.

Speaker 1 Wasn't she just here?

Speaker 30 Oh, Jesus. I thought she was right behind me.

Speaker 31 Where the hell could she have gotten to?

Speaker 30 You guys go ahead. I'm gonna check up in the attic.

Speaker 20 We're not going anywhere without you two.

Speaker 19 All right, I'll be quick.

Speaker 30 Margaret, are you here?

Speaker 14 Margaret

Speaker 19 Oh my god, no, no, Margaret.

Speaker 14 Margaret,

Speaker 14 Margaret.
