I have two opinions on this,

I have been traveling around so much, I don't even know where I am from time to time.

Yesterday was a really tough day operating on about three hours of sleep yesterday and at Charlie Kirk's offices.

Yesterday was the first time

as...

a national broadcaster, in fact, in my almost 50 years of doing this, yesterday was the first time we ever left a studio because of a bomb threat.

And you didn't know that, but at the last half hour of our program, there was a bomb threat.

And

because Pat was in the studio in Dallas, we let him take that last half hour, and I made my way over to the Charlie Kirk studio.

But that's never happened before.

Every day, every single day, it's like, nope, never seen that.

Never done that one before.

But it was an honor to sit with Charlie Kirk, his team.

They are doing really, really well.

My wife and I had a long talk with Erica Kirk, and she is amazing.

She is truly amazing and really led by the Lord and very, very clear.

Obviously still mourning deeply.

And I really feel for her.

I really feel for her children.

But she is, I said to her yesterday,

I said, you've, because she, she asked for, you know, some ideas on some things.

And I said, you really need to read all you can about Jackie O because Jackie O is, you're very much Jackie O so far.

But she was responsible really for that legacy of JFK because she guarded it so well.

And

as I said that, She looked at me and she said, thank you so much.

She said, it's just so hard because I

go home and I have to, you know, gigi doesn't know you know she doesn't know really where dad is and you know i don't want to explain what a coffin is and everything else to my three-year-old and she said i go home and gigi's like mom will you play and so she said i get down on you know on the ground and i'm playing with gigi

and she said it's just so hard and i thought wow that that is exactly what jackie oh did remember jackie oh was planning the funeral in one room and the very next room was John John's birthday party.

She was holding that at the same time and she would go from room to room because she didn't want to disrupt John John's life.

I mean, we're seeing history play out and she is

a colossal figure

in history.

And I think we will all come to see that.

Now, let me tell you about what's happening.

Sinclair.

Oh, by the way, let me thank Premier Radio.

Another first yesterday that you didn't know.

I compete and Premier competes against Salem broadcast.

I have stations all over the country, and my stations are

in competition with Salem.

Charlie Kirk was on Salem.

I'm on Premiere.

I don't believe this has ever happened in the history of broadcast radio.

Two companies said,

lower our flags.

We're all one, and allowed me to go over to Salem and broadcast on Salem radio right after my Premiere show.

So stations, I was on two competing stations yesterday, and that's never happened before that I'm aware of.

And I just want to thank Phil Boyce and Julie Talbot.

Phil is from Salem, and Julie is from Premiere, and it was just heroic what they did yesterday.

So thank you for that.

That's really everybody coming together and just saying, doesn't matter what contracts say.

This is important.

All right.

So, let me tell you about Sinclair.

Sinclair, yesterday,

that's an ABC.

Most of their TV stations are ABC.

They're going to air a special, a remembrance of Charlie Kirk during the Jimmy Kimmel live segment or slot on Friday, which will probably get bigger ratings than Jimmy Kimmel ever did.

But they're airing that on Friday Friday because they have indefinitely suspended

Jimmy Kimmel's show.

And also Nexstar did as well.

Now, these are two, they're the two largest station groups.

You know, these giant groups, they have, you know, 25 or...

50 stations all across the country.

And then they say, hey, ABC, we'll take these shows from you.

And they become ABC affiliates.

And yesterday,

two companies said, We're not doing it.

We're not airing the Jimmy Kimmel thing.

And

that really kind of is shaking a lot of trees.

Now, I want you to know I am not for government involvement in any of this.

Government should not be involved in this at all.

And the left is saying, Brandon Carr, who I hope will be on this program today,

Brennan is a friend of the program, and I have deep, deep respect for him.

But they're saying that he was

involved in this by threatening that the FCC will take action, or maybe he was just speaking out about it, and so they implied that the FCC was going to get involved, and they were going to start finding these stations, yada, yada, yada.

I don't believe that, especially with Sinclair.

Sinclair didn't need any help to cancel Jimmy Kimmel.

Zero.

I don't know the people at Nexstar,

but I don't believe that that's what happened.

And

even if it was, I want to give you some comparisons here

and

see and ask you the question: why are they concerned this time, but they weren't last time?

So they've decided that they've canceled it, and now ABC is having to look into the plans for the future for Jimmy Kimmel.

So, you know, Jimmy Kimmel's ratings are awful.

Awful.

He's not in, you know, when

Tucker, when everybody celebrated that Tucker was fired from Fox, everybody on the left celebrated this.

He was the number two show on all of cable, okay?

All of cable, all of the, you know, SpongeBob SquarePants, everything that is on cable, he was the number two show and they canceled him.

Now the left is all upset because the number, I don't even know.

I went on Grok.

I went to Nielsen.

I went to ChatGPT.

It couldn't even tell me how bad the ratings rank is.

I could only get it past the top 20.

And Jimmy Kimmel is nowhere to be found in the top 20 of broadcast shows.

So you can't even compare the two.

You can't even compare the two.

But now everybody is upset because Disney, the owner of ABC,

you know, they need the green light for ESPN's deal to buy the NFL network.

And now if the FCC gets involved, I mean, is that, well, gee, wait a minute.

So you're worried about, hang on, you're worried that just the action of you not doing something that the president is for,

the government might.

judge you differently.

They might take some sort of action.

This goes into everything we have found out about Facebook.

This is everything we found out about Twitter.

All they have to do, this is what the Biden administration was doing.

This is what the Obama administration was doing, just flexing their muscles all the time, making quiet threats to companies all the time.

But apparently

they don't see that.

So they're canceling now.

And I don't know about ABC, but

AOC

was taking a victory lap, you remember, on Tucker Carlson.

She said that deplatforming works deplatforming works Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News

happened to a better guy she said

he is the person who's most arguably responsible for driving some of the most amounts of death threats violent threats not just to my office but to plenty of people across the country hmm I don't know how she I don't know how she qualified that but I would imagine you could say something like that about Jimmy Kimmel with the vitriol that that guy is putting out.

Supporters, a message to supporters from Casio-Cortez's office obtained by Punch Bowl News at the time, touted her efforts to silence Carlson, who she said was directly responsible for the events of January 6th.

So here is an example of someone who is in Congress.

doing the same thing and taking the victory lap saying it was me that put the pressure on everybody.

Now, you could say that maybe these companies

are

afraid of Donald Trump.

Well, I will tell you that ABC should be afraid.

They should be afraid.

You know, a $16 million settlement tends to wake companies up.

That teaches a $16 million lesson.

Hey, let's be careful on what we say.

That has nothing to do with free speech.

That has everything to do about smearing people.

You know, there are things that, you know, the court does take care of.

You don't need the government.

You need a court.

And if you can prove that these people acted in malice and these people were lying about you, you can sue them and win.

And Donald Trump just won a $16 million lawsuit against ABC.

That makes sure that that doesn't usually happen again.

Lawsuits tend to focus people.

Now, how is this lost on an AOC and everybody else who celebrated when Tucker left?

How is this at all unclear when you look at what Jimmy Kimmel said?

Jimmy Kimmel got on the air and said lies, absolute lies.

He said that the right was doing everything they could to cover up that the shooter was one of us, us, meaning MAGA people and conservatives.

That's not true in any way, shape, or form.

Now, he is either the dumbest person in the world, but you generally don't get to that position being dumb and uninformed.

And how did you get that past your writers?

Did nobody at ABC and nobody at the Kimmel thing say, wait a minute, wait a minute.

That's not true.

That's not comedy.

That's the setup.

for the comedy.

The punchline hasn't happened yet.

You're setting the joke up.

And when you're setting a joke up, that's the true part.

The punchline is the crazy part, is the opinion part.

The setup is the true part.

Well, your setup isn't true.

How did they miss that?

They didn't miss that.

Nobody in the room wanted to change that.

Nobody in the room wanted to say, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, that's not right.

Because they're agenda-driven.

That is the way it has been over and over and over again.

I don't know how this is missed by the left.

And Brian Stelter, who came on yesterday, Brian Stelter

was saying, oh, this is the worst thing that could happen to democracy.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Well, wait a minute.

Hang on just a second.

If you are again saying that it was Brandon Carr who got on the air and said, hey,

we're going to look into this ourselves.

And that made everybody move, then let's go back and look at the Facebook and Twitter files.

Let's all of a sudden now look at that and say, wait a minute, is that pressure?

Because we know it was.

So we know that the right, or sorry, the left was doing that, and nobody on the left had a problem with it.

Let's go back

and look at all of the cases where pressure had been put

onto companies.

For instance,

my so-called termination, I left Fox of my own accord.

However, it was very, very tough to work in an environment where you're constantly under attack.

And I was the first person in the history of America to have, how many was it, Stu?

I know there was at least two or three

White House advisors from the White House, coordinated from the White House, attacks on me for instance the best known one is Van Jones Van Jones starts a a 501c3 and all of a sudden the 501c3 their main objective is to get me fired

after I started talking about him being in the White House that was coordinated in the White House by a White House advisor Where was anyone report?

I used to say that on the air all the day, all the time.

Where is anyone talking about this?

Why is the New York Times talking about this is is a White House coordinated attack?

Because it didn't fit their narrative.

That's why.

And they celebrated when I left.

I don't know if they still celebrate, but they celebrated when I left.

Brian Stelter yesterday

was on the air on CNN saying this is an abomination.

It has to stop, blah, blah, blah.

Stelter never said that when there was a campaign against me.

Never.

Not once.

Not once.

When they did an advertiser boycott, which I believe is exactly the same thing that Sinclair did, they decided that's not up.

That doesn't serve our audience.

It doesn't serve our audience.

We don't want anything to do with it.

Next star, I can't, because I don't know them, I can't speculate even on what their motive was.

But I know that Sinclair was, we don't want this show anymore.

It doesn't serve our audience.

That is

that company making a decision.

And that's what Brian Stelter, Media Matters, you know, the Stop Beck campaign, that's what they said the entire time.

Glenn Beck has lost 300 sponsors, and yet it hasn't affected his show or his sponsorship.

How did I lose?

I never had Mercedes-Benz as a sponsor.

Never.

But they would declare, they would call Mercedes-Benz and say, hey, are you going to advertise on Beck's show?

No.

Another sponsor has decided they're not going to advertise with Glenn Beck.

And nobody would clarify that.

Nobody would talk about that but that was their right to free speech that's how they got away with all of this stuff saying it was free speech and you know what

it was coordinated by the white house and that was my real problem with it it's coordinated it was all astro turf it wasn't it wasn't actually real

you didn't need a campaign to go against jimmy kimmel jimmy kimmel has made himself irrelevant in america for a very long time he's out of step and if it wasn't this it'd be something else that would eventually just get his show canned because it's not making money and it's not making any ratings.

And eventually, that's exactly what happens to those kinds of shows.

But Stelter never said anything about that.

He defended their right to free speech, etc., etc.

You had comedians and everybody else say, oh, it's fine.

It's fine.

Don't let the crazy door hit your crazy ass on the way out.

That's what they said about me.

But now this is comedy.

Now the comedians are very, very concerned.

This is yet another thing of AstroTurf and yet another lie.

If

the FCC doesn't go further and get involved, the FCC should not be involved in this.

Let the market work itself out.

And let the grassroots market work itself out, not these giant organizations that are funded with our tax dollars.

well i i think you're gonna get pushback from both sides probably on it at some level which you know i guess you're used to at this point

uh this is your life i think the the left is going to say there is pressure from the government here and they're very upset about that.

Now, I can't even note how I feel about that because

I'm so overcome by rage at the hypocrisy of them complaining about government cracking down on speech.

The standard we had to hit to prove that that story mattered was like we needed to have Joe Biden pounding on the windows of the office building at Twitter.

We have all sorts of emails from the government pressuring these companies to say, pull down this speech.

They shouldn't be able to say this.

They shouldn't be able to say that.

the White House is very concerned about this, and the White House is thinking about taking action.

And it was behind the scenes.

Now, it was also public, but it was more than that behind the scenes.

Now, we might find out that this was going on behind the scenes with Brendan Carr.

I don't know.

We'll talk to him about it.

And I, you know, my, my,

it's hard to separate the hypocrisy here and the how infuriated I am that they would even make these arguments to even come up with what my preferred policy would be, which I think is pretty similar to yours.

If the left wants to join in unity to work with us to defang all of these three-letter agencies from going through and ruining all of public life.

These are all of their organizations with their rules organizing

policies that are lining up against private interests.

Somebody, you make them powerful.

Somebody that you don't like comes in and wants to play the game the way you've been playing.

You're not going to like it.

And that's exactly what they're accusing us of doing.

Doing what you are doing?

Using the agency that you created to do these kinds of things.

The IRS targeting conservatives.

The FCC targeting conservatives.

You know, the White House targeting conservatives.

I mean, did you, yesterday, the FBI, their

Arctic Frost

probe was released.

This is the FBI targeting 100 GOP groups, okay?

Including the Republican Party, the Democrat, the Republican National Committee, the RNC, the Republican Attorney General Association, Trump political groups.

They were all placed under FBI investigations.

Okay.

It was part of this

Operation Arctic Frost, and

it was

politically investigating Trump using partisan FBI agents and DOJ prosecutors so they could improperly investigate everything about the Republican Party.

Now, nobody's saying anything about that.

I want to defang the FBI so it cannot do that to the DNC or to the RNC.

I want to defang this government.

This is what we call the weaponization of government.

And if you don't like it, like Stu said, we will stand with you shoulder to shoulder to defang these things.

Shoulder to shoulder, I will stand right with you saying the government shouldn't have the power to do that.

Let's get rid of this agency or let's defang this agency to the point to where it can never target.

anybody on any side unless you're breaking the law.

That's what I want.

Yeah, I'm fine with getting rid of the government licensing of these stations.

There's all sorts of stuff we can go down if this is what you actually want.

But of course, it isn't.

They want all of this power.

I mean, Glenn, we talked to a man who the Department of Justice

sentenced to prison for posting a Hillary Clinton meme.

Yes.

They sentence him to prison for it, not the prison of the Hollywood home of Jimmy Kimball, where he now has to get paid tens of millions of dollars to stay home because a bunch of the stations that carry him don't want his show anymore.

Not that.

They tried, they wanted to put him in prison.

He lived through a decade-long legal struggle to fight off prison time.

for posting a meme.

This is insanity, Glenn.

This has happened over and over again, and the hypocrisy is there.

But as you point out, the question here is, and I don't think, and this is of course the problem with today's media, I don't think many people actually listened to the entire Brendan Carr interview.

Again, we can ask him about this ourselves.

I'm sure he'll come on with us today or tomorrow.

But like he talks often about they're like, you know, I think it was Benny Johnson who was interviewing him and he said, he kept asking him like, well, what do you think?

Should he be pulled off the air?

And what he said over and over again, he didn't take a position on that because he said, it's very possible we might need to be the judge in a case that comes up.

Now, we have to deal with this our entire lives.

Our business is built around whether the FCC deems us able to be able to project.

I was 13 years old when I had to take a test at the FCC office in Seattle, Washington.

13 years old, trying to get my...

My third phone license.

I don't even know what a phone is because it's not the kind of phone we talk on.

I had to get a third phone license at 13 years old so I could just talk on a microphone.

Okay.

That's how crazy it was.

I've dealt with the FCC my whole life.

I despise

the FCC.

I despise them, but I know their rules and I abide by their rules because that's the rule of law.

You want to get rid of the FCC?

I am with you.

But you know why the right or the left doesn't want to do that?

Because they have used the FCC to strangle people like Rush Limbaugh, me, Sean Hannity, anybody.

They've used them when they had control to strangle us almost to death, and yet we still survive.

You know why?

Because ours is real.

Our people actually listen to us.

It's not like Jimmy Kimmel that is, Jason, what is the Jason's still doing the research trying to find out what Jimmy Kimmel's actual ratings are?

What place is he that so far that you can find in all of, remember, Tucker Carlson left when he was second second in all cable news?

Where is Jimmy Kimmel's show ranking on all network shows?

So this is complicated because of ratings.

On one of these I can find, he's around 150th.

But on another one I'm doing, it ranks about 120 shows on primetime shows.

He ranks anywhere from 95 to somewhere between 110 and 120.

So dead last pretty much in all of these.

He's in the group of, you know what?

Find the ones that are around, you know, in the 90s.

Find the shows.

Let's see if anyone has ever seen any of these shows that are at 110.

Yeah, and we've mocked Stephen Colbert for losing tens of millions of dollars as he has been doing.

He crushes Jimmy Kimmel in the ratings.

Just talking about Colbert, who is a complete failure.

He's still dominating when it comes to this.

And what's funny about this is you can, like, the idea, the essential concept here is that Trump doesn't want anybody making fun of him, and they're trying to get everybody thrown off the air, all of his political enemies.

I'm sorry, one place you can go and hear jokes about Donald Trump, probably tonight.

I don't know if he's on hiatus, but is Stephen Colbert's show.

Jimmy Kimmel, which, by the way, he wasn't really even making jokes about Donald Trump.

He was making, you know, he was basically mocking the situation.

I mean, he was.

No, he wasn't mocking Donald Knock.

He was also mocking Trump, but he was mocking.

He was lying.

And he was lying about the situation.

He's lying.

I don't care if you want to mock, mock.

I think you're a despicable human being.

You're not changing my view on that.

So continue to mock all you want, Jimmy Kimmel.

You're wrong for mocking a situation like that.

But you were lying.

You were lying.

That's where the FCC will get involved.

If the FCC does get involved, because

one of the FCC, the big thing with the FCC is: are you serving the public interest?

Lying,

openly lying about something is not serving the public interest.

That's the thing with the FCC.

They're not making something up.

You are knowingly lying about a very important thing.

Imagine, imagine this would be like Johnny Carson, or who was the guy, I think it was Carson, after Martin Luther King is shot.

If he would have gone on and said, you know, it was Martin Luther King's family that killed him.

It was all his supporters that killed him.

That's what Jimmy Kimmel did.

That is the same exact example.

You know,

it was the Democrats that killed RFK.

You know, they're going to do everything they can to make sure that they don't, that it's not found out that the shooter of RFK was

actually a member of the Democratic Party.

Johnny Carson wouldn't have done that because there was no evidence of that.

In fact, all of the evidence went the other way, the exact opposite way, on both of those examples.

You can't do that.

That's just lying.

You're not serving the public.

What you're doing instead is you are hurting the public and the public's interest and hurting the republic.

That's stuff you can get sued for bare minimum and maybe lose your license.

Yeah, I mean, and that's, of course, what Trump has done with some other lawsuits when they've lied about this stuff.

He's sued them directly and won, or at least pressured them into settling, which again,

all this stuff is stuff you could complain about if you're any other party on earth but the modern Democrats.

Correct.

And here's what, and here's what, and here's how you solve it.

This is how I have solved, you know, when Van Jones and the White House came to complain and put pressure on Fox, went into Roger Ale's office and sat down, Roger said to them, look, if he's made a mistake, we'll correct it right now.

Just give me a list of all the things that he said is untrue.

They couldn't produce a list because there wasn't anything they came back two weeks later and said that i had said that van jones had gone to prison when he only went to jail and i corrected that that night i corrected it but that was the extent of my lies okay they said i was lying about everything the way to correct that is to point it out and correct it jimmy kimmel is not willing to correct this now he might be now but he wasn't then if you got it wrong you lead with your mistakes the next night you go on and say you know what i I said something and I was wrong about it.

We got our facts wrong.

That's how you solve it.

But they're never willing to do it.

Look at Colbert.

The facts are you suck.

Your ratings suck.

All right, let me talk to you a little bit about Antifa.

Antifa has finally been put on the terror list as a terrorist organization.

I want to get into this, what it takes to be a terrorist organization, but terrorism is a word that just chills you to the bone, or it should.

The Department of Homeland Security lays it out clearly.

Terrorism is the unlawful use of violence or threat of violence to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, influence government policy, or affect the conduct of government through destruction, chaos, or fear.

That's the standard, okay?

I think that's really clear.

To affect the conduct of government through destruction, yep, chaos, uh-huh, and fear.

Now ask yourself, this is not going to be hard.

I'm not going to give you a lot of time to answer this question.

Does Antifa fit that description?

You knew the answer before I finished the question.

Yes, it does.

Look at Portland.

For

years, we saw coordinated campaigns where so-called anti-fascists brought not arguments, not debate, but weapons into the streets.

They occupied and shut off the FBI in their own headquarters.

Do you remember that?

Nobody did anything.

They bring bricks and Molotov cocktails, fireworks that are aimed at police

precincts and federal courts.

Businesses have been looted and burned.

Neighborhoods terrorized.

Whole blocks were seized and declared autonomous zones, places where the law had absolutely no authority.

Now, is that a peaceful protest?

No, that is the textbook definition of using intimidation and violence to advance an ideology and intimidating the government to do what they want it to do.

Now, DHS says that terrorism does not require an international connection.

Homegrown extremists fall under it as well.

But the criteria is really important.

Ideologically motivated violence.

Now, Antiva's stated mission is to dismantle systems of oppression, but the tools they use are firebombs and street beatings.

Targeting systems, civilians, officials, or institution.

Well, they've assaulted journalists, shopkeepers, police officers, and city employees.

In Portland, they surround the federal courthouses night after night with the explicit goal of driving the government authority out and burning the place down.

The intent to intimidate or coerce.

Ask any small business owner who had to hang a We Support BLM sign just to avoid their windows being smashed if they felt coerced.

That is textbook definition of terror.

Now, compare that to the groups already on the domestic terror radar.

White supremacist gangs, eco-terrorists, foreign-inspired extremists.

The through line on all of this is the same.

Ideology plus violence equals terrorism.

I plus V equals T.

Ideology, violence equals terrorism.

Antifa.

checks every single box.

Well, but yeah, but it's not a structured group.

That's a dodge.

You know it.

I know it.

It's a dodge.

Al-Qaeda didn't hand out business cards.

They didn't say, let me check with Al-Qaeda headquarters.

Let me see ISIS.

What does the CEO of ISIS have to say?

Lone wolf jihadists who pledge allegiance on a Telegram channel still gets classified as terrorism because that's the tactics and the outcome that matter.

And Tifa operates as a network, but a decentralized network, but connected by shared symbols, shared targets, shared methods of violence.

The DHS criteria, it doesn't require corporate organization charts.

It doesn't.

Yes, but who is their CFO?

It doesn't have that.

What they require is a pattern of ideologically motivated criminal violence.

And you have it in Portland.

You have it in Seattle.

You have it in Minneapolis.

You have it in Washington, D.C.

The pattern is over and over.

Courthouses are set on fire, police are blinded with lasers, journalists beaten in the streets, city blocks seized by force, ordinary Americans are terrified into silence.

That is terrorism.

So

the question is not whether Antifa qualifies, because they do.

The real question that America should be asking today is, why the hesitation to name what they are?

Why hasn't this happened a long time ago?

Because once you admit that organized left-wing violence can be terrorism, the narrative completely collapses.

It's not just angry kids in masks.

It's a coordinated movement that meets

the DHS definition of domestic terrorism.

It's no longer kids that we just need to understand.

It's college kids that stop believing.

No, it's none of that.

Now it's coordinated terrorism.

And if we can call January 6th terrorism, and DHS did,

then intellectual honesty demands and requires that Antifa, through the same lens, is viewed the same way.

Violence is violence.

Coercion is coercion.

Fear is fear.

And

the people of Portland and Seattle and countless other cities have lived through nights of terror at the hands of Antifa.

So all that Donald Trump is doing now is just stop pretending.

That's the only thing that has changed.

He hasn't come up with some grand plan or anything else.

He's just like, let's stop pretending it's not a terrorist group.

Let's actually name what it is.

You can't defeat an enemy if you can't name it.

You know, we would have never defeated the Nazis if we said, well, the Nazis, I mean, it's just kind of a ragtag group and it's an ideology and it's not really.

We would have never defeated the Nazis.

We had to name the Nazis what they were, evil, evil.

And not because of their politics.

You can be a Marxist.

Stu, what was the name of the communist we used to work with in Philadelphia?

What was his name?

Clinton.

Clinton, that's right.

And I loved the guy.

I just loved him.

He was a die-hard communist.

He worked running the board of my show.

And during the show, he would argue back and forth with me, you know, about communism.

And I'd be like,

Clinton, you're not going to win this argument, but God bless you.

You're taking a paycheck.

So, I mean,

anyway.

And God bless him.

I had no problem with Clinton.

We were friends.

We were friends.

It's not politics.

It's about about what you do with the politics.

If you now take those politics and you decide you can kill people

because

you disagree with them, that's a problem.

You can just take the streets and you can burn down buildings and you can put stores out of

business.

You can firebomb streets.

That's when your ideology becomes terrorism because you've coupled your ideology with violence.

I want to take you to North Carolina here for just a second.

I want to take you to North Carolina in the mountains where the hum of the cicadas, you know, and the rush of the,

I think it's the

Nantalahala, something like that, the gorge.

All of these sounds of nature just drown out the noise of the modern world.

Except on September 6th,

a Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled to a stop on the roadside.

And we have video of all of this.

Driver stepped out, not with curiosity of a traveler, like this is so peaceful a night, but with malice of a vandal.

Right in front of him was a banner that just said Trump 2024.

It's a canvas of political allegiance that fluttered in the wind for months and months and months.

And it belonged to the mother of Mark Thomas.

He was the owner or is the owner of Paddle Inn Rafting.

Okay.

And to the mom, it was more than cloth.

It was conviction.

The man paused, all on video now, paused, looked around, then tore it down.

There was no debate, no discussion.

He just took somebody's private property, crossed onto it, and then took and vandalized and destroyed it.

And he did it in rage and threw the banner in the dirt.

It was garbage to him.

Then he climbed back into his vehicle and he prepared to drive off.

But he wasn't alone.

Mark Thomas had been watching him.

And first he was shocked and then he stepped outside with his rifle, you know, the kind of weapon a mountain man would keep, not for politics, but for protection and maybe to hunt and eat.

He took his rifle, fired two warning shots up in the air,

said, you're being watched.

And this isn't, this was, this was not terrorizing him.

He was saying, you're being watched and there's going to be a consequence.

Okay, you're not free to do that.

That's when it turned really dark.

The man rolled back his sunroof, raised a firearm, a gun of his own, and fired not into the air, but toward Thomas.

The man standing on his own property under his own flag, defending nothing more

than his own property.

defending something that was so terrorizing.

It was a piece of fabric proclaiming his belief in the current president of the United States.

Bullets crack out, hit right behind Thomas.

He stands his ground.

Minutes later, the suspect circles back, making another pass, squeezing off more rounds, and then fleeing into the night with his license plate concealed.

Sheriff is called.

The investigation still ongoing.

Shots were fired.

They identified the vehicle.

And Thomas said, you know, he took my property.

I was telling him to knock it off, and he was trying to kill me.

This is

what's happening in our country.

And by the way, you know, Jimmy Kimmel will tell you today, we're trying to do everything we can to make sure that we understand that the guy who tore down that flag was a MAGA supporter.

It's again the same kind of terror that is happening.

Florida man

arrested by the FBI.

He received a

the FBI received a tip from the man's high school friend about something that this guy was posting on social media.

His name is Michael Whitehead.

He was in his apartment at Fort Myers, Florida,

27 years old.

And he wrote online, I personally will do everything I can to democide Republicans.

Hmm.

All American conservatives will be systematically erased.

Her oppressors will suffer by my hand, I promise.

Now, he was arrested on September 10th.

The same day we were all talking about Charlie Kirk.

By that afternoon, this was going on in Florida.

Now, this guy's attorney, Whitehead's attorney says, well, that I can see it can be misconstrued, you know, especially with politics, you know, there's a fever out there.

Well, there wasn't a fever out there on September 10th in the morning.

There wasn't a fever.

They had been investigating this guy.

They had been tipped off before there was a fever.

And I'm trying to find out, Stu,

help me misconstrue this.

All conservatives will be systematically erased.

I will personally do everything I can to democide Republicans.

What democide means is for the government,

the government to actually kill all Republicans.

it was an amazing thing to be there yesterday and be a part of history.

I did Charlie's show yesterday, which was harder than I thought.

Stu?

Harder than you thought it would be?

Yeah, yeah, it was really hard.

Yeah.

I couldn't even look to my right because that's where Charlie's chair was.

And all I could see was that's where Erica gave her speech.

Yeah.

And

I brought Rush Limbaugh's microphone, the golden EIB microphone, because Charlie, I told a story yesterday that Charlie had said, you know, when he was 17, I said, so what do you want to do, kid?

What do you want to do?

And he was always so gracious.

He said, I want to do your job.

I want to be like you.

And I knew exactly what he meant.

I was like, you know, I didn't say this to him, but I'm like, aha, aha.

I know what you're saying.

You want to be Rush Limbaugh.

You don't want to be me.

You want to be Rush Limbaugh.

And

I said, well, you know, keep working hard.

You know, you've got the talent to do it.

And this is when he was 17 years old.

And I watched him.

I watched him.

He was the guy I thought,

you know, David Barton and I talked about 2007 or 2008 that

we weren't going to be the generation that saved it.

We might be the generation that teaches the generation to save it and helps them and enables them.

And so I had been looking for a kid that grew up with the show to rise to the top, to change things, and eventually to become, you know, a possible next Abraham Lincoln or George Washington.

And I really thought Charlie was the one.

And he would have been.

He would have, I think he would have made a great president.

Another 10 years.

Can you imagine what Charlie Kirk would have been like?

And so it was.

It was really, really difficult.

And when I brought the microphone with me and I said,

I wish,

hopefully I'll be able to tell you some things that have been going on recently, but I had hoped to have a moment with Charlie in the next couple of months

that I was going to,

I was going to say this to him on the air,

that he surpassed Rush Limbaugh.

He's way past me, and he surpassed Rush Limbaugh.

I mean, Rush did a lot of things, but Rush was a broadcaster and a very good broadcaster.

I'm a broadcaster and a pretty good broadcaster.

Charlie not only was a broadcaster, but he was a narrowcaster.

And those are two very different skills.

He was also one of the best teachers, one of the best,

one of the best debaters.

He was also a really amazing political mind.

He was an advisor to presidents.

He was a guy who was a community organizer that was responsible for the 2024 election.

Much of it was him.

He was a good dad.

He was a great man.

He was a Billy Graham to a lot of youth in this country.

That's much more than Rush and Rush and I ever did, ever did together.

And so when I put that microphone in front of him, in front of his microphone,

it was

so

difficult, so difficult.

And

I wish I would have had the chance to say that to him before he died, but we obviously

ran out of time.

I thought we were going to have many, many more years

and very close years.

We're going to be, hopefully, I'm going to be announcing something on Monday

in regards to Charlie Kirk.

We'll see how things work out.

But hopefully that will come Monday.

Another hard and difficult thing was you might remember a theme that I did in 2018, and it was a theme that I wrote, and I think it was 2018.

Somebody can check it for me, but it was a theme that I asked David Osmond to write.

And it was probably our least favorite theme out of all the themes.

I changed the theme of the show every year.

And it was probably the least favorite of everybody because they didn't understand it.

Nobody understood it.

But I was convinced that political assassinations were going to begin that year.

And I wanted to prepare our audience you for that time to say if it comes and I didn't say this on the air but if it comes we have to be united but that year I asked him to write a theme for the show called we are one

What I did that year is the year

Charlie and I were out on a balcony in

Miami talking about things that come.

And we talked about assassinations, and we talked about, you know, it could be one of us, and how would we want our audiences to respond.

So, I know exactly.

Charlie is so proud of

the way you and his audience has reacted.

He is so proud of it.

And I know for a fact because we discussed it.

But yesterday, my daughter, who was 10 feet from the tent when he was shot, 10 feet,

She was a huge fan of Charlie's.

She wants to come to the funeral so badly, but she said, I don't think I can handle it, Dad.

I don't think I can go.

I don't think I can handle it emotionally.

She went into the studio with Charlie Kirk the night before last.

Not Charlie Kirk, with David Osmond, and re-recorded the theme for Charlie.

And I played it yesterday.

in modern history of freedom of speech.

No, actually, what Jimmy Kimmel was doing on television was lying and then not apologizing.

And you had a corporation that was just sued for lying and not apologizing, and the president won in court.

So I think that tends to make ABC a little nervous about things.

Now,

the left says that Donald Trump is just weaponizing the government like crazy.

I want to talk to you a little bit about weaponization of

the government.

In fact, I don't want to.

Well, heavy heart,

as you might understand.

My brother Charlie

lost him.

I knew him going back to 2016 when I was on a campaign trail with President Trump and Canada Trump.

I thought Charlie, young kid at the time,

and I thought thought he was Don Quixote, to be honest.

I mean, how would you ever mobilize the youth of America, which is so left-wing?

And

lo and behold, Charlie taught us how to do that, and he's going to be missed.

And

it's a shame.

And, you know, all this stuff with Kimball and this, that, and the other thing.

I mean,

I went to prison so you won't have to.

The book is really a treatise on

how

the left is basically

engaged in a sustained attack on

Donald Trump, his associates, and the MAGA movement.

And interestingly enough, I don't know if you know the full story, but for me, it started with a

raid at Reagan Airport where the FBI came.

This is the first chapter of I Went to Prison So You Won't Have To.

It started where they

cornered me in the gangway, me and my fiancé,

dangerous omres that we are, five armed FBI agents.

I wound up

with the guy.

Her name is Bonnie Clyde.

I'm just saying.

There we go.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I'm 4'11 and 95 pounds of her.

And I'm like, I'm 74 years old at the time.

And the only thing I'm packing is

a sandwich for the ride.

It's kind of like

but

what's interesting about this is the agent who took me, it was a guy named Walter Giadina, FBI agent.

And it's come out subsequently because of the efforts of Senator Chuck Grassley

that Giardina was part of every attempt to stop Donald Trump from getting elected in 2016, 2024,

and 2020.

And when Donald Trump was in office, he was one of the insurrectionists.

And he was the guy who originally helped greenlight the steel dossier, allegedly, as reported by whistleblowers.

The steel dossier was...

was the fake dossier that's undisputed that was manufactured by Hillary Clinton's campaign to promote the Russia hoax.

And this guy, Giardina, was one of the agents who said it was real, not fake, and that started the whole ball rolling.

And we go through eight years of endless operations.

And my point here is that

they put me and Steve Bannon in prison.

Everyone involved was a Democrat.

They bankrupted my good friend Rudy Giuliani with their law affair.

Jeff Clark, John Eastman, good lawyers helping President Trump.

They were trying to take their bar cards away as we speak.

Four times in four different courtrooms, they tried to put Donald Trump in prison and came pretty damn close, if you ask me.

And two assassination attempts, and now Charlie Kirk with a bullet in his neck by some left-wing guy groomed

in the dark corners of the internet by ideology.

And this I went to prison, so you don't have to, is a story about the dangerous and disturbing asymmetry between

this relentless war on us

by

the left and how we're not really

responding.

And I don't know if you know this, maybe you saw the speech, but the day I got out of prison, I wound up on the stage of the Republican National Convention in support of then candidate Trump.

I went to prison so you won't have it.

It was a tagline from

the speech.

But the rest of it is simply that I'm a wake-up call.

What they did to me is a wake-up call for this country that we have to do one thing.

Okay?

The The five stages of grief now have one additional, and that's accountability, okay?

And if we don't hold these people accountable for what they did to me, to Bannon, to Trump, to Giuliani, to the Christians who

protested at abortion clinics, to the school board people who, the parents who, I mean, if we don't hold these people accountable,

and they have names, and I can give you their names, then they'll do it again.

I mean, make no mistake about it.

If we lose the House in 2026 and you put wackos

like

Jasmine Kroc and AOC

and Maxine Waters in charge of that insane asylum, otherwise known as the House of Representatives,

they will start issuing subpoenas again.

And my case, by the way, is ongoing.

Even though I did my time in prison and there's no personal reason for me to pursue the appeal, I am pursuing that appeal because my case, U.

S.

versus Peter Navarro, is a landmark case in the constitutional separation of powers and executive privileges.

And the Department of Justice has already withdrawn their opposition to my appeal and gone back to what was 50 years of support for what I was forced to do by Congress in that subpoena.

So

these are dark times, but we do have Trump in the White House.

We're getting good stuff done for the American people, but we've got to solve this welfare problem, Glenn, or they're just going to keep doing it.

Well, you know, I said today, Peter, that, you know, the left is saying, we don't want the government to be able to regulate and tell people they can be on the air or off the air.

And i'm like i am i've done broadcast my whole life i'm the first to say you want to abolish the fcc you want to take the you want to defang the the uh fbi you want to defang all of these you grew them it wasn't constitutional lovers that did that it was the progressive movement on both the republican and democratic side i'm for defanging

but they don't actually want to defang it because they want the power when they have the power they want all of these rights to do what they're claiming we're doing now i want to defang the whole thing.

Exactly.

Exactly.

Do you think it's possible, Peter, that we can defang it, that Donald Trump can do it?

Well, he can do anything.

And

he's demonstrating that.

I mean,

on the tariff front, I mean, I was around, when, during the first term, I was one of only three people.

David Miller and Dan Scamino were the other two, who were there for the whole four years.

And I was like like the China Hawk tariff guy, right?

And that first term, it was nothing but crosswinds and headwinds, right?

Very difficult to land the plane.

This time, I mean, everybody understands that the world's cheating us.

We're fighting back.

We're getting all sorts of revenues for the American people,

$17 trillion in new investment at last count,

and

factories, jobs, and it's just a beautiful beautiful thing.

And by the way, we're going to pay down the national debt with the tariff revenue.

So

I'm bullish on that.

But on this

issue of the left, I mean

these kids, he's that's a twenty-two-year-old kid picks up a rifle and shoots Charlie Kirk

because

he has been trained

by

folks on the Internet to hate anybody who's in MAGA.

It's like, I mean,

every time they call us a fascist, right, I mean, think about this, Glenn.

It's like, I went to friggin' prison, and everybody who put me there was a Democrat.

There were no Republicans except Liz Cheney, who put me in prison, and that exception proves the rule, right?

Only Democrats put me in prison, put Steve Bannon in prison, prosecuted Donald Trump, tried to overthrow his government, all Democrats,

and killed Charlie Kirk.

And they tell us we're the fascists.

And when they say that, and

you can see the clips, I'm sure you probably played a bunch of them.

When

Chuck Tumer went after the Supreme Court,

he wound up sending a guy to blow

Kavanaugh's house up or burn it down.

It's like, what did they expect?

They are you can't,

I mean, I'm all for free speech, but

you know, the old saw about you can't shout fire in a crowded theater, you can't be calling, I mean, Maxine Waters, I think Maxine Waters and Jasmine Crockett should be

charged as accessories before the fact in Charlie Kirk's murder because

they incite this.

I mean, the hatred.

You look at the internet and the crap people write these days.

It's like they wouldn't say that to your face.

They'll say something on the internet.

Peter, I have to tell you, you and I both come from an old school where we wouldn't have seen that.

I think people are willing to say that to each other's face now.

I mean, the hatred is so deep.

And, you know, this idea that Donald Trump and all of his supporters are Hitler,

they actually, you know, you say it enough times and enough people start to believe it.

These people actually believe that now.

It's a sickness.

It is truly a mental illness.

And they'll say it to your face.

I mean, what's happening is.

You know, I agree with that.

I wrote this article this week about that.

If you remember the broken window theory

that Juliani made famous, it's the idea that if you allow graffiti on the walls and broken windows and all sorts of petty crimes going on and you don't crack down on it, then it gets worse.

And Giuliani came into New York City at its low point

and forced the broken window through.

He started cleaning up the small stuff and the big stuff went away.

That was it.

And I think we got the same thing you're talking about, Glenn, which is that

the speech on the internet, it's like

they started small years ago.

And now

it's just they'll say anything and and no i watch these ice agents who have tremendous respect for it's like why are we even letting people with masks get within 12 inches and scream in these people's face when they're holding like bats or other kinds of weapons i mean it's like i'm ready I'm ready for law and order, my brother.

And

I want a maskless society.

You know, the old

saying about an armed society is a polite society.

That was Robert Heinlein.

I don't remember where that came from or, you know, Charleston has to make it famous.

But

an unmasked society is a polite society.

And whether it's unmasked in public or unmasked on the internet,

I think, I don't know.

We've got to turn this around

somewhere.

Those with the baseball bats and the masks are the ones that are now coming out and saying that I shouldn't be able to wear a mask.

It's, I mean, the hypocrisy isn't enough.

Then she gets home.

She posts about this and the doctor on her private Instagram.

And just about an hour later, she gets

a phone call from her union representative saying she needs to look for another job.

And then she was pulled into a meeting at the hospital and she was suspended without pay pending an investigation.

Now, she does not want to come on and talk about the hospital or, you know, by name or the doctor or anything else by name.

And I highly recommend that as well, as

she's already having to spend a lot of her own money, I'm sure, on litigation and just trying to keep her head above water.

But she's been a nurse trained at the Catholic University of America.

She's been a nurse for 10 years, and she joins us now.

Lexi, thank you for your courage.

Thank you for having me.

This is amazing to be able to have this platform right right now.

So tell me the story.

I mean,

beyond what we just heard,

was the patient checking out on in a wheelchair?

Why is the patient at the nurse's station?

And how did this come about?

Was this that patient's doctor?

So I don't even know.

I actually didn't even know who this doctor was.

I've never even seen him, nor did I know his name.

I didn't even know he was a doctor.

And this was in an endoscopy area.

So the patient had just come out

from a procedure, and they were, it's a very, it's an interesting setup.

So there's structures all along.

You have the nurses taking care.

There's no rooms.

So the nurses station is directly in front of a lineup of structures with patients on them.

So when you heard this, I mean, because this is what we went through with COVID, where doctors were actually saying, you know, if you don't have the vaccine, I'm not going to treat you.

All of a sudden, if you don't agree with the vaccine, I'm not going to treat you.

You deserve to die.

This is so far away from the Hippocratic oath, which I don't even know.

Do they have to take that oath anymore?

Because it doesn't seem like it really exists.

Nurses, you know, we have...

We have it too.

I mean, there's a set of standards that you're obligated to stand by.

And I dealt with it during COVID as well as a nurse.

I refused to get that vaccine.

I didn't feel comfortable.

I didn't want it.

And I had to, you know, I was sitting there for a month

waiting for my termination letter.

You know, I said, well, what's going to happen to me if I don't get this vaccine?

And they said, you'll be terminated.

I said, okay.

You know what?

I'll wait for my letter.

And on that day, it was in October.

I remember I waited and waited for this letter to be fired.

And,

you know, I get a call, like, oh, well, you know, you can

apply for a religious exemption.

And I'm like, what do you mean?

I've never even heard of this before.

And why are you telling me now

after making me sit there for so long thinking I'm going to be fired?

It was like they were coercing me to get this vaccine.

So when you saw him say that, it must have been a rush back to that kind of time.

Exactly.

I mean, exactly.

I was, I didn't even think twice about what was coming out of my mouth.

I just couldn't believe it.

I just kept saying, like,

you're a doctor.

You're a physician.

I mean, what if a patient comes into the hospital and, you know, they're wearing, you know, a Charlie Kirk shirt or any type of shirt that the doctor does not agree with?

You know, now we raise the question, is this patient going to be treated the same?

I have to tell you, I've had to go to the hospital, et cetera, in New York City, and I've had that very thought because, you know, I don't, what am I wearing a t-shirt of me?

You know, it's pretty obvious who I am.

And I thought of that, and I often think of what Reagan said after he was shot.

He's on the table.

He's almost dead.

I mean, they almost killed him.

He's on the table.

and right as they're putting him under, he says, hang on just a second.

I'm assuming all of you are Republicans.

And the Democrat said,

the main doctor said, sir, we are all Republicans today.

That

is the way we should be.

I'm not asking you to, I'm just asking you, will you treat me like a human being?

Or because you politically differ from me, am I less than a human being?

Am I less of an important patient to you because of my political stance

exactly this is way beyond politics this is just

it's unbelievable i mean

you should not be treated differently because of any of any type of view that you have

so can you tell me what happened without getting into names what happened to you and then what happened to the doctor and where does this all stand

so i you know as you all know i was pulled into that

Well, I'll back it up to when I posted this on my private Instagram.

Went home, I posted it.

I got a call from my manager, who is wonderful, by the way.

She said, you know what, you got to take the Englewood part down.

I said, that

I'm standing on what I posted, but I will certainly take the hospital's name out of it.

So an hour later, I took that down and

reposted without Englewood's name on it.

And then the next day, I get pulled into the meeting and I gave them my story about what happened.

At the end of that meeting, they told me I was suspended without pay.

And they told me that it was really just standard procedure and they just need to look into it.

It didn't seem too serious at that point.

I felt okay leaving the hospital.

Like, you know, I don't really know what's going to happen, but they told me to just relax and this is just standard.

They said, okay.

Did they do that to the doctor

so i did ask that at the end of the meeting as well i said so is he getting the same treatment as i am and they told me we can't speak on it

so who knows i mean i don't know really anything that went down on his part

um the next day i i get an email from my union rep which but who was in the meeting with me as well um and you know it's public.

It says he should start looking for another job.

So that to me is like, okay, so is this person, did she get a little tip from the hospital that this is how it's going to go?

Because this is unacceptable.

I mean, this person's supposed to be on my side.

And I don't even know

how this is helping me at any point to just tell me.

to look for another job.

And you wonder, too, because it's a union, you wonder if that union, like the teachers' union, is on your side or they're actually for freedom of speech for everybody and neutral or if they have a political bent to them.

I would imagine.

That's what I would think.

Exactly.

That's exactly what I thought.

I mean,

I'm not stupid.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Do you know what happened to the doctor since?

Because I've heard the doctor doesn't have a job now and you do have a job at the hospital.

Yes.

So they offered me my, they said, you know, we'll lift the suspension, and that doctor has resigned.

And that's really all that I know.

Okay.

Well, that's, that's at least a somewhat of a happy

ending

to this.

I,

I am so proud of you and so pleased to be able to say, good job.

I mean, that took real guts.

I mean,

you already did your first tour of duty on COVID, and now you do a second.

Was it easier to do it the second time or harder?

I have to say, I think this one was definitely harder.

You know, it's...

It blew up overnight and it became very public.

And it makes you think, you know, had this not been so public,

maybe today I wouldn't have a job as a nurse.

How are things going with you now at work?

Is it back to normal?

I haven't gone back yet.

My first shift back will be on Monday.

So, you know, I've had some really good people in my corner.

I've um

you know, I had Jodi O'Malley reach out to me.

She's um a professional whistle whistleblower.

And I've had nurses out loud contact me.

And they've given me some really good advice.

I've also had the support of so many coworkers, which has been amazing.

I mean,

obviously, I'm very, very anxious to go back to work.

But I have to go in with my head up and stand on my beliefs and my faith.

And I've gotten a message from one of the security guards, actually.

It was very nice.

He said, you know,

thank you for speaking out.

Just know that you have

the staff here, is on your side 100%.

So I guess we'll see.

You know, we'll see going back how it is.

But well, I hope that,

you know, the hospital continues to be behind you and there's no ramifications

and that everybody welcomes you with open arms.

I cannot imagine how it couldn't.

You cannot have doctors or nurses

saying things like that

and feeling that way.

I mean, if you feel that way, you feel that way, I guess.

But I expect you to be professional enough not to say those things,

you know, at work in front of patients and front of the nurses.

You cannot spread that kind of poison.

Your job is to save lives and to look at everyone equally and say I don't care who they are what they believe that's a human being it is my job to save them and you just can't have that kind of poison

you know with somebody that we trust to take care of us

exactly I mean everyone knows that's what they teach you in nursing school you treat everybody the same I mean I've had patients who have been in drunk driving accidents, who have harmed other people,

have and you treat that patient as if it was any other person you can't let beliefs or thoughts of can't any type of you know discrimination get in the way of treating the patient that's really what this is about is treating everybody the same and with respect
