Speaker 1 The first game, I mean, the game that just ended.

Speaker 1 Mavs beat the Mavs beat the Kings 120 to 106. AD and Clay combined for 50 points.
As the Mavs blow out the Kings, the game really wasn't that close at any point in time. I mean, 14 points.

Speaker 1 At one point in time, they had it up as many as 24 points.

Speaker 1 Joe, I'm going to ask you this. Did tonight win

Speaker 1 Redeem Nico Harrison? Does he make, does the Mavericks fans say, you know what? AD ain't that bad after all. He gave us, what did he give us? 27, 9, 3 blocks and assists to steal?

Speaker 1 Plus 10 and the plus minus? 27, 9, and 3? We can live with that.

Speaker 1 It's all well in Dallas after they advance to face the Memphis Grizzlies for a chance to be the eighth seed and face the OKC Thunder. Now, I don't think it's all well in Dallas.

Speaker 1 It was a good performance by AD, but I kind of feel like the Mavericks, they're going to get cheated this year, man. They don't have Kyrie, you know, without an ACL injury.

Speaker 1 And you know, at some point, even maybe next game, they need guys like him who can take over,

Speaker 1 create havoc on offense, and put guys in the right position. So I think it's going to be tough, man.
They still got their work cut out. They got to play against Memphis in Memphis, right? Yep.

Speaker 1 Memphis can't lose that game, man. That's going to be a good one.

Speaker 1 But let me ask you this. Are you concerned about the health of Ja? Now, we saw him hurt the ankle.
He stayed out for a significant amount of time.

Speaker 1 He tried to come back in, but you know, you've had that in, probably had that injury where you go to shoot a shot, you land on someone's foot, ankle, you roll your ankle. How sore is he going to be?

Speaker 1 Is there enough time between they played last night? You had Thursday off, and you play tomorrow, and you play, you have tomorrow off, and then you'll play on Friday.

Speaker 1 Yeah, he young he's gonna heal up quick you know

Speaker 1 if they'll me and you having a spray egg it's gonna take us about three weeks to a month to get back

Speaker 1 he's gonna bounce right back he's gonna be ready to go he he understands the moment i think and uh knowing that it's in mistress i'm sure he's not gonna want to let them fans down so i expect y'all to put on the show man

Speaker 1 oh choke this game uh dallas mavericks they win 120 to 106 anthony davis i mean they got contributions everywhere a d had 27 PJ Washington had 17. Clay had 23.
This is why they got Clay.

Speaker 1 Off the bench. Dante Exum had 11.
Brandon Williams had 17 in 18 minutes. Five of six from the four.
Three of four from the three-point line. Four of four from the free throw line.

Speaker 1 The bench was very, very good for the Dallas Mavericks to overcome. DeMar DeRosen had 33.
Zach Levine had a quiet 20. They didn't get the kind of production they normally get from Simonas.

Speaker 1 He only had 11, 13, and 5, but he's normally somewhere around 17, 18. Give you that.
And they needed that tonight. But Dallas go on the road to Sacramento and win this game.

Speaker 1 Oh, Joe, what did you like about what you saw from Dallas? I mean, this is exactly what you expected them to do. This is exactly what you expect them to do.

Speaker 1 Obviously, the fans have been mad about the trade and

Speaker 1 AD coming and Luca leaving, Luca coming in. Time to remind you why I should have stayed.
But all this is for the Dallas fans and the organization for the Mavericks as well is you put a

Speaker 1 band-aid on the gas. That's all it is.
This is what you're supposed to do to Sacramento.

Speaker 1 So what you're going to see is later on down the line, when it comes time for a seven-game series, things are going to be a little different.

Speaker 1 You don't have Kyrie. He's hurt.
Most of the bulk of everything is going to be on 80. They have to, what's the word I'm looking for? Be

Speaker 1 a scorer, a 30, a 32, a 35 to be able to lead that team to another series, which Luke was able to do with Kyrie. I don't think he's going to be able to do it.

Speaker 1 Yeah, you definitely need, and Joe, you can speak to this. In the playoffs, you need a guy that you can put the ball in his hands and he can go get you a bucket.

Speaker 1 And it's nice to have that as a guard because you don't have to get him the ball. He can come get the ball, bring it up, and Kyrie can distribute.
Kyrie can get his shot from anywhere.

Speaker 1 He can finish in the paint, given that he's not an above-the-rim player. But his layup package and his ability to handle and create a shot for himself or someone else is second to none.

Speaker 1 And so to that, what going on the road now, you look at memphis they got triple j who did not have a great performance the other night job was good desmond bain played unbelievable uh uh the uh uh um pippi jr played really well

Speaker 1 what does dallas have to do to go in and to create a similar performance to what they had tonight joe uh hey he's gonna have to be dominant he's gonna have to be dominant man he gonna have to put up big numbers in order for them to win i know they pretty much played by committee by committee you know clay got off to a pretty good start tonight you know he turned the ball really well.

Speaker 1 But they definitely, they got guys who can put up numbers now. They got guys come off that bench who can definitely chip in and help.
But I think with their size,

Speaker 1 they gonna give they're gonna give Memphis some problems as well, though.

Speaker 1 You know, they that's that's why AD is able to kind of roam because he got lively and gaffer down there to kind of cause up the pain. You know what I mean? Yep.

Speaker 1 And he gets to play when Lively's on the fourth. He always gets to play, for the most part, he gets to play the four, which he loves to play.

Speaker 1 Because when you have lively, you bring in a Daniel Gaffer. you're right they're a big team you look at pj washington goes about 6'8 lively goes about 6'11 or 7 foot ad goes 6'10.

Speaker 1 daniel gaffert 6'9 6'10.

Speaker 1 this is a very very big ball club and so the front line and they challenge a lot of shots they had eight blocks tonight ad had three gaffer had two and so you know nothing hey it's simple philosophy to play off nothing cheap

Speaker 1 nothing easy you coming to play i got to put you down i'm sorry but but with misses memphis got uh jj and big eating eating down there you know they're gonna cause some havoc as well right i do expect ja to really put on a pretty good performance because they're gonna need him they're gonna need his leadership you know definitely on the court for them to uh be able to continue and whoever wins the game oh they got whole case

Speaker 1 that's that's surprising

Speaker 1 You ain't got OKC in the first round. You're going to be in for a fight.

Speaker 1 Are you surprised that Spencer Dinwiddie, who has been a major contributor, he only got two minutes of mop-up duty tonight? I was surprised they went with Exam as opposed to Spencer Dinwiddie.

Speaker 1 What is it that you think Jake Kid saw that he says, you know what?

Speaker 1 The minutes that we normally give Dinwiddie, we're going to give those minutes to Exhum because he played 19 minutes and he was since he had 11 points, four of four, one of three, one of one from the two, uh, three-point line, and two, uh, uh,

Speaker 1 both of his free throws had three rebounds, had what

Speaker 1 six assists a steal he bring good energy um he bring good energy to the table i think dinwitty is more of an offensive threat yes xam xham gonna come in and he's gonna be more of an edge factor he's gonna play hard defensively he's gonna knock down the shots of the open special in that corner so i think he probably just leaned a little more on xm probably because he had a little bit more confidence in the night

Speaker 1 and plus he's looking to get everybody involved as opposed to spencer dinwitty looking to get his shot off yeah

Speaker 1 Denwy's trying to get into his bag. Yeah, yeah, he's

Speaker 1 saying, I'm playing for a contract, bro. Keep it to keep it, keep it a buck with you.
I'm trying to get this contract.

Speaker 1 You're right.

Speaker 1 I think the thing is with Edie.

Speaker 1 Look, he reminded.

Speaker 1 I think the thing is, when you look at Memphis, when they were at their best, they had,

Speaker 1 what's the guy?

Speaker 1 What's the big guy they had? He just traded into Houston.

Speaker 1 Yeah, big Stephen Adams. Yeah.
Jaw was tremendous in the pick and roll. He gave the, Adams gave them extra opportunities.
Zach Eden can do that,

Speaker 1 but Zach is going to have to be more, he's going to have to be a little bit more active because I think he's a better offensive weapon. He was player of the year.

Speaker 1 No matter what you think of him, his game, college game compared to the NBA, he was a player of the year. He was an all-American.
And so he has the offensive skills.

Speaker 1 Now, it's not going to do, you know, him shooting threes, but around the rim, I'm not so sure they run a whole lot of plays for him. He's not a guy that you run.

Speaker 1 Hey, you want, hey, you want 14 points? Get it off the rim. There you go.
You're going to have to get it off the rim.

Speaker 1 Because the thing is, we'll have him on the floor, though, they're going to keep him in picking roles. You know what I mean? Because he's probably going to

Speaker 1 play back a lot of the times. He's not going to be up to the pick.

Speaker 1 For the guards, you know, that's definitely essential for them trying to get to the basket and just create opportunities for everybody on the squad.

Speaker 1 That's where Kyrie would be extra beneficial because you play, you put Edie in the picket role and you know he doesn't want to hedge and he doesn't have the lateral, he doesn't have the lateral equipment or the excuse me, the quickness or to be able to drop back.

Speaker 1 So Kyrie like, oh yeah, this is, ooh, oh man, and say barbecue chicken. Barbecue junklers, floaters, passes.
Like it'll be, it'll be a pretty sad concern.

Speaker 1 But like I said, they got other guys on their team who are capable of having big nights or even winning you a game in the playoffs, and that's what you need.

Speaker 1 Yeah, Nick Marshall did a lot of having the ball tonight. They let Clay bring it up early, but Nick Marshall was really in charge.
I thought Exm coming in gave him a boost of energy, as you mentioned.

Speaker 1 Brandon Williams was sensational,

Speaker 1 he was absolutely sensational. 17 points in 18 minutes.
He got it and got it going early. And a lead that was like eight, nine all of a sudden became 18, 19, 20.

Speaker 1 Yeah.

Speaker 1 What's his name?

Speaker 1 No.

Speaker 1 Najee.

Speaker 1 Oh, Najee Marshall. My bad.
Najee Marshall. I thought you was talking about Brandon Williams.
I'm like, I've seen Williams.

Speaker 1 Najee Marshall.

Speaker 1 He did a lot of ball handling, but

Speaker 1 he's not a natural point guard. He's not a natural facilitator.
And I think that gets a lot of teams because, oh, he can handle the ball.

Speaker 1 Just because you can handle the ball doesn't mean you can run an offense. And I think we saw that with the Phoenix Suns because Booker, yeah, Book can handle the ball, but Booker's a two.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 You look at, you go back and look at the Suns and study them. They work best when they had CP3.
Yep. Could get everybody.
Hey, Katie, you can get that shot right there.

Speaker 1 Hey, Book, you can get this right here.

Speaker 1 Stop pretending just because somebody can handle the ball, they can run an offense. Those are two different things.
Handling the ball, running an offense. It's just like a quarterback.

Speaker 1 Oh, Joe, you know, hey, he could throw the ball, but can't he run an offense? Right. Nah.

Speaker 12 Run a business and not thinking about podcasting?

Speaker 1 Think again.

Speaker 12 More Americans listen to podcasts than ad-supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora. And as the number one podcaster, iHeart's twice as large as the next two combined.

Speaker 12 So whatever your customers are into, true crime, sports, comedy, culture, they'll hear your message. Plus, only iHeart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio.

Speaker 12 And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula.
The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate rate equals the results.

Speaker 12 Now let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business? Think iHeart: streaming, radio, and podcasting.
Let us show you at iHeartAdvertising.com.

Speaker 15 If one of us wins, would we all win?

Speaker 17 I'm Ashley Reitfeld, and I'm the host of the Women's Skateboarding Podcast.

Speaker 18 Good luck with that.

Speaker 20 Good luck with that is a skateboarding podcast that is part cultural record, part news brief, mostly group therapy, and a place to talk about the past, present, and future of women and gender expansive skateboarding.

Speaker 25 This week, me and my co-hosts Nora Vasconcelos and Alex White, we have Babiana Delfina on the show, a professional skateboarder from Florida whose grip was forged in a family of athletes.

Speaker 26 Tune in to hear how she broke into the boys' club, what it takes to be pro, and why just being grateful you're here shouldn't be the price of entry.

Speaker 15 Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago because that's when they maybe started paying attention.

Speaker 29 It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the years, stacking clips and receipts, and still having to prove your worth while the industry catches up.

Speaker 30 You break down the door, sick, now like hold the door for everyone.

Speaker 25 We created good luck with that because we want to share our experience of existing in an industry that wasn't always built for everyone.

Speaker 31 So listen to good luck with that on iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 32 For 25 years, I've explored what it means to heal, not just for myself, but alongside others. I'm Mike DeLa Rocha.
This is Sacred Lessons, a space for reflection, growth, and collective healing.

Speaker 7 What do you tell men that are hurting right now?

Speaker 35 Everything's gonna be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it.

Speaker 37 And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath.

Speaker 1 Wow.

Speaker 38 Which is why one one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as people is just breathe.

Speaker 1 Next to the wound is their gifts.

Speaker 39 You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound.

Speaker 40 That's the hard thing.

Speaker 39 You think, well, I'm going to get my gifts. I don't want to go through all that.
You got to go through the wounds you left.

Speaker 41 Listening to other people's near-death experiences, and that's all they say.

Speaker 42 In conclusion, love is the answer.

Speaker 43 Listen to Sacred Lessons as part of the My Gutura Podcast Network.

Speaker 34 Available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 44 Greatness doesn't just show up.

Speaker 1 It's built.

Speaker 44 One shot, one choice, one moment at a time. From NBA champion Stephen Curry comes Shot Ready, a powerful never-before-seen look at the mindset that changed the game.

Speaker 1 I fell in love with the grinds.

Speaker 46 You have to find joy in the work you do when no one else is around.

Speaker 46 Success is not an accident. I'm passing the ball to you.
Let's go.

Speaker 1 Go ahead, Ocho. What do you want to say?

Speaker 1 Nah, I just, I just came back from using

Speaker 1 wash me. Wash your hands? Yeah, yeah, my bad.
The earlier game, we saw the Miami Heat go on the road and just do a demolition job.

Speaker 1 Yeah. The bulls, look, the bulls have really been playing well

Speaker 1 as of late.

Speaker 1 You look at

Speaker 1 Kobe White. You look at Josh Giddy, Bezellas.
They got Bucevich. They got a bag.
Herder could

Speaker 1 could knock down the threes, but Tyler Hero was in his bag early, and they really didn't have an answer for him. You look at him.

Speaker 1 He was 13 of 19 from the field, 3 of 7 from the 3, 9 of 10 from the free throw line. You had

Speaker 1 Bam gave you 15 and 12 rebounds.

Speaker 1 Wiggins. Andrew Wiggins gave you 20 points and 9 rebounds.
They got off the bench. Davion Mitchell gave you 15.
They just never let the Bulls get into this game.

Speaker 1 They took the crowd out early, and the crowd was never able to get into this game, Joe. Man, hey, that's heat culture, man.
See, those guys are proven. They done been to the finals.
They didn't play.

Speaker 1 They know what it's like to play in big games. And the Bulls kind of showed their inexperience today because the Heat just kind of went in there and just took what they wanted.
I like how Hero played.

Speaker 1 He was very, very efficient. And he just caused havoc all night.
Bam, doing what he does defensively, being disruptive, scoring, making plays. I thought they had a great team effort against the Bulls.

Speaker 1 The Bulls didn't really give me what I was looking for.

Speaker 1 I agree.

Speaker 1 Go ahead and play it at home. Hey, let me tell you, this is what you're going to expect from the heat.
This is what we did on the road. So,

Speaker 1 regardless,

Speaker 1 I don't care who our matchup is, obviously. I'm going to tell you this.

Speaker 1 We might come out the east. So, I don't want anybody

Speaker 1 to come out of Miami, but that's the only thing y'all coming out of the middle.

Speaker 1 Don't do that. Don't do that.
Don't do that. Don't do that.
Now, you saw what Bam did tonight. You saw what Tyler Hero did tonight.
You saw the contribution we got from everybody else.

Speaker 1 Heat

Speaker 1 come out the east. I don't want to hear nothing about nobody was surprised.
Oh, we can't believe this happened. They let Jimmy Butler go and they still were able to make it out of the east.

Speaker 1 Y'all be lucky to get a game. Y'all be lucky to get a game or two off the Calves.
Hey, hey, hold up, hold up. Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait, wait, come again.

Speaker 1 Y'all not beating the Calves.

Speaker 1 So you think tonight's you think that the heat you saw tonight won't be able to to beat the Cavs?

Speaker 1 No.

Speaker 1 All right. Hey, they got to come here and beat the Hawks on Friday.
That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about, Joe.
What you're talking about?

Speaker 1 They got to come see the Hawks on Friday, baby. We're going to be in this thing ready.
You hear me?

Speaker 1 We got to be the whole Hulks, the Atlanta Hulks.

Speaker 1 He got to come play the joke. Is it cold out there? Hey, Ice Trade.

Speaker 1 Hey, you know, Ice Trade like this, baby. He's ready.

Speaker 1 Come on now.

Speaker 1 Listen,

Speaker 1 I know you're down in Atlanta. I know, you know, you played for the Hawks, but let's be serious.

Speaker 1 Let's be serious.

Speaker 1 With all due respect to Trey Young,

Speaker 1 there's nothing that the Atlanta Hawks can do with the Mining Heat. So y'all going home.
I got the Hawks, Ocho.

Speaker 1 Friday, baby,

Speaker 1 we're going to have that thing jumping. You hear me?

Speaker 1 Yeah, ATL all the way. Hey.
Hey,

Speaker 1 y'all going to be jumping, but it's going to be wrong. DC gonna be in the high.
Hey, you know, DC going to be in the house. Probably Poosie gonna be there.
Come on now.

Speaker 1 Hey, it's gonna be time studying that thing, hotel.

Speaker 1 Hey,

Speaker 1 you need to come on down, man. Come check it out with your boy.
Where? When is the game? Play Friday. This Friday, yeah.

Speaker 1 Uh, my daughter tracked me. She runs at you at University of Florida.
You know, she runs for University of Kentucky, so I gotta go to the track this weekend. Okay, oh, who you got, huh?

Speaker 1 I bet I played.

Speaker 1 You better hit the floor. Hold on.

Speaker 1 Hey. Hey.
So, hey, listen, y'all want to make a light little bet or no? No, you don't pay your bets. Oh, yeah.
Hey man, you don't pay. No, I don't want to make nothing with you.

Speaker 1 Okay, I'm just making sure. I mean,

Speaker 1 listen, you believe, you believe so much in this. I mean, what you want to do? Put it on the floor.
But I also believe in this, which you haven't paid me. Man.

Speaker 1 Hey, Joe,

Speaker 1 I hate the fact we're talking basketball right now. He's talking about that.
Joe, you got cash out. You got to talk about that.
You brought it up.

Speaker 1 No, no. I mean, Joe, you got cash app.
Yeah, I got it all. I got it all.
You got Apple Pay. You got Venmo.
You got PayPal, huh? Yeah.

Speaker 1 Okay, case closed. He don't want to download none of them.
He could have had his money by selling. I don't have that, Joe.
I don't have a whole lot of apps on my phone. Okay.
I don't have email.

Speaker 1 And I think you have to have email

Speaker 1 to put this thing up. So why am I going to get, why don't you just give me my money? You try to get me to do all the, hey, he ought to download this, right, Joe? You got cash app.
you got bimbo.

Speaker 1 Don't worry about what that man got. Give me my damn money.
Hey, that man spent this, that man spent that little 5,200. Yeah, he better.

Speaker 1 I see him riding around like a man 700,000.

Speaker 1 Oh, and that's what I'm saying. They talk about he play this man.
Hey, this man ain't playing in my face. He putting on a Broadway play in my face.

Speaker 1 Joe with here doing.

Speaker 1 It's like, come on.

Speaker 1 My bad, Joe. My bad.
My bad. I'm leaving him.
I'm going to stay out of there. I'm going to stay out of it.
I ain't got nothing to do with it. No, Joe, don't stay out of it.
Okay. All right.
All right.

Speaker 1 All right. Okay, Locho.
I tried to figure out this thing. Joe, if you,

Speaker 1 honestly, honestly, if you, he know I'm not the type of person that carries cash. I never have been.
I keep $100 on me at a time in 20s. That's it.
I don't carry no cash.

Speaker 1 If you really wanted your money, you're going to download one of them apps, create an email, and then deleted the app after I sent you your money. How about this here?

Speaker 1 Take your eBay from Good Times Looking Ass to the bank draw we draw 5200 5200

Speaker 1 and bring me my damn money

Speaker 1 oh man you you keep on talking about what i need to do why do i got to do all of this for money that you owe me that's just like if i if i own a bank now what y'all need to do is to go sit up this and to go sit up that no hey can i tell you something what

Speaker 1 everything

Speaker 1 you do it dates back to prehistoric times We are in 2025. When people make transactions, they use apps that make it very simple.
We don't have to go to a bank and withdraw money.

Speaker 1 Here, if I owe you something, give me your Cash App, give me your Venmo, give me your PayPal email, give me your Apple Pay, and I'm going to send you $5,200. The limit is 75.
I only owe you 52.

Speaker 1 You didn't want to do that. I'm done everything possible I can.
Just give you your money. So now you got to wait till I see you in June in Baltimore.
Oh, Joe,

Speaker 1 I just got direct deposit in 2016 because Fox said they would not send me a paper check. I had to get direct deposit in 2016.
Up until that, everybody that I had ever worked for gave me a check.

Speaker 1 CBS sent me a check. I would go upstairs and get my check

Speaker 1 from the Broncos and the Ravens.

Speaker 1 I like to see my money. Man, old school, man.
He wants to see it. So I want to see my paper.

Speaker 1 Hey, no, you want to be George Flintstone Flintstone so bad. I bet you start your career.

Speaker 1 Come on, man. Fred Flintstone.

Speaker 1 Oh, George, George Fred. Joe now.

Speaker 1 Oh, my bad. My bad.
No, but hey,

Speaker 1 when you go to the bank, how they give you the money? They count it out. They're right there in front of you.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 That's how you want to count yours out. That's how I want him to count mine out.

Speaker 1 That's how you start bad habits. There ain't no bad habits.

Speaker 1 The bad habits are bad habits. Hey, with withdrawing any any amount of money over a thousand dollars is how you start bad habits.

Speaker 1 I'm just telling you, how I live: you got your way of living, I got my

Speaker 1 bad habit. I started is that I let you slide after the first week you ain't paid by money.
I should have beat hell out you like Stewart did Brian when he owed him that money.

Speaker 1 Hey, can I tell you one thing about beating me? You know, these hands are registered, right? That's okay.

Speaker 1 My favourite register, too.

Speaker 1 That 52

Speaker 1 interest or nothing, yeah. I've been told that he now he told me when he said, Hey, hey, hey, Joe, it drew an interesting story.
That's about it.

Speaker 1 I'm just trying to figure out, I'm just trying to figure out. You're leaving a prehistoric times.
Why do I have to download things to get my money? Because it's convenient. It's convenient.

Speaker 1 It's not supposed to be convenient for you. It's supposed to be convenient for me.

Speaker 1 Exactly. That's why you download the app and I just send you the money.
It takes two seconds.

Speaker 1 Two. I ain't got two.
Like, if we was to tussle, how long it take to get rid of you and drop you? Two seconds. I promise you.
Lord, Helper.

Speaker 1 I tell you what.

Speaker 1 I tell you what. Me and you wrestle.
I'll put that $5,200 up.

Speaker 1 Bet.

Speaker 1 So

Speaker 1 make it light on yourself.

Speaker 1 Now, now i can give you i can give you what james harris is gonna get how you want it bro we're gonna wrestle we got a wrestling match if i throw you you owe me 10-4 if you throw me we even can i ask you a question ask me whatever you like

Speaker 1 boy do you see that you think you're throwing anything over here

Speaker 1 you ain't the only you ain't the only one been in the gym now i'm this different over here now this ain't the same ultra when we first started the show i'm 220. i promise you whatever change

Speaker 1 whatever change you got in your pocket i'm gonna slam your ass so hard it's gonna come out so whatever you got in your damn pockets i guarantee you it's coming out i ain't gonna go in your pockets and get it i'm gonna throw you on your damn head

Speaker 1 y'all got this man talking he talk about it just an interesting story

Speaker 1 yo check this out an anonymous nba exec hopes the mavericks keep nico harrison in charge it's always good to have a desperate gm out there

Speaker 1 they saying nico desperate

Speaker 1 Look, you and I both know, Joe, when you move somebody like Luca, that's not a general manager decision. That's ownership.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 I give you an example. When they traded, when

Speaker 1 the Lakers traded Shaq, did anybody think that was anybody else's decision other than Dr. Jerry Buss's? That wasn't Jerry West.
That wasn't any Mitch Cutcheck. That wasn't anybody to tell him.

Speaker 1 That was a Dr. Buss decision.

Speaker 1 When you move Luca, that is upper management. That's above Nico's pay grade.
Now, Nico is taking all the hits, all the vitriol that all the fans are giving, and everybody's

Speaker 1 all the general managers keeping him in charge when they know damn well

Speaker 1 that was Dumont's

Speaker 1 call.

Speaker 1 Period. And that's why.

Speaker 1 That's why I say I feel like the Mavericks got cheated because I still think with Kyrie and that team that they have right now that's playing, they had a chance to really make some noise in the playoffs or be a top seed in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 They fighting for their life right now. And with the end club,

Speaker 1 with them just getting them up, just getting their guys healthy, it's like everything just kind of came crashing down all at once. You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 It's like, dang, we done traded our franchise guy, Lupa. Not only that, Kyrie get hurt.
On top of all the other injuries that we keep accumulating. He was hurt.
Lively was hurt. Gabbard got hurt.

Speaker 1 It just started stockpiling and things just kind of started going south. And I think what really, that's what really put our eyes on it because they just start going downhill from there.

Speaker 1 Hey, I have a question. If management is responsible for the Luca trade, why are they sitting back and letting Nico Carl and take all the heat? Why don't they do what Jerry Jones does?

Speaker 1 Come out, say something, let the people know, listen, this is how we felt.

Speaker 1 Based on us having to invest the type of money we felt in Luca, we felt it was in the best interest to make him move instead of putting that kind of money into him for the next five, five to seven years, wherever it may have been.

Speaker 1 That's what's simple.

Speaker 1 That's why a lot of times you put people in position because you know poop rolled downhill, so it ain't gonna stay up on the hill because the hill is where the owner is, so it's gonna roll down and cover Nico.

Speaker 1 And Nico says, You know what? I'll take it. He understands that's a part of his job is to take some of that blowback.
A lot of general managers, it's just like anything.

Speaker 1 People get upset when general and when you trade a player, when you trade a player like that,

Speaker 1 that's ownership.

Speaker 1 ain't a way

Speaker 1 ain't no way they can overcome this i'm saying let's say let's say they end up losing to memphis and they get kd this summer oh okay now you be right back but but joe let me ask you this because this notion that if you drop kd in you're automatically a a championship contending team now

Speaker 1 maybe that once upon a time you dropped them in at golden state but they were 73 and nine yeah that didn't work out in brooklyn and it did it was it went horrible It went even worse than Phoenix that it did in Brooklyn.

Speaker 1 And we know how it ended in Brooklyn.

Speaker 1 So are we sure

Speaker 1 we know how great, historically great KD is?

Speaker 1 He's one of the great all-time bucket getters, as efficient as anybody has ever been, that mainly shoots the ball and doesn't play with his back to the rim. But are we sure?

Speaker 1 If we drop KD in anywhere, they are a championship contending team.

Speaker 1 No, we're not sure.

Speaker 1 You know, i think it'll be a good look because everything still kind of centers around kyrie is he gonna come back when when is he gonna start playing again that's gonna be when next year round probably i i'm think what you i'm thinking the 2026 season yeah see with just durant and ad i i mean i like it but i

Speaker 1 i just need that pg i need i need kyrie at the one healthy man yes yeah

Speaker 1 And look, I agree, but here's the thing. Do you have the assets? There's only a handful of teams that can appease maybe what the Penis Sons want as far as players

Speaker 1 and the draft capital. That's OKC.

Speaker 1 I don't think KD wants to go back to OKC.

Speaker 1 I don't need it. Because

Speaker 1 I'm going to tell you now. I'm going to want Jalen Williams.
I'm going to want Lou Dort.

Speaker 1 I'm going to get Chet Hungry to Hardenstein. And I'm going to need three or four draft picks.
But this is the thing.

Speaker 1 Let's say if KD does happen to go to AKC,

Speaker 1 the production that you get offensively, having KD there with SGA, it can replenish losing those players. No, because what makes them so good is the perimeter defenders.

Speaker 1 Jalen Williams, tremendous on the ball. You got Lou Dort, tremendous on the ball.

Speaker 1 I'm going to take one of those bigs because I need a big. That's what I need in Phoenix because

Speaker 1 when you had DA, DeAndre Aiden, but for whatever reason, him and Monty couldn't get along. He wanted to, they reluctantly, they waited till the last minute.
And then

Speaker 1 I think they matched Indiana. I think Indiana put an offer on him and they ended up matching him.
And he hated that.

Speaker 1 And so he ended up, they ended up going to Portland and it fell apart and Monty got fired. They bring in Frank Vogel.
He gets fired. They bring in Mike Boondhoser.
He gets fired.

Speaker 1 So it's like, hold on, you got $80 million tied up in coaches that's not going to coach for you next year.

Speaker 1 So I get it. But I think the thing is that we might need to and i look

Speaker 1 i'm looking at it i don't know without looking at it what the uh the mavericks have as far as draft compensation now they didn't have to give up any they they had to give up something because they traded for kyrie yeah now what is what what actually did they give up to get kyrie right now you get you get what the 2028 first round pick from the lakers and you got uh Max Chris there in AD.

Speaker 1 That's really the only draft compensation that you got. You need multiple because think about what you gave up to get KD.

Speaker 1 All those draft picks that you gave up and you gave up two young, solid players. You gave up Mikhail Bridges and you gave up Cam Johnson.
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 So you're going to have to replace that. Now, maybe, maybe, Joe, they still have Isaiah Joe, who can defend.
They still have Carl Wiggins.

Speaker 1 who can defend. You have

Speaker 1 Caruso who can defend. So they might be willing to give up a Jalen Williams, give up a Lou Dort, give up a Hartenstein, give up three first-round draft picks because they got so many draft picks.

Speaker 1 But if I'm Phoenix, I need players that can come in and play,

Speaker 1 but I also need that draft compensation to restock the coffers of what I gave up to get KD. And you don't want to give up your blue-collar workers, man.
Not all your blue-collars.

Speaker 1 I like Harnstein, Dork, them blue-collar workers that, you know, they play big men's defense. Understand their role.

Speaker 1 yeah there we go they they definitely understand their role they're gonna play and they're gonna star in it so uh it's hard giving up players like them man

Speaker 1 bocho what you thinking

Speaker 1 i like it i like it

Speaker 1 excuse me i like it oh my goodness i don't i don't i don't i don't think it's gonna happen oh he moving it's just aware they're gonna move it yeah well i told you where i wanted to go right if it doesn't if it's not okayc if it's not dallas obviously i like joe saying you know, what happened in Dallas, but you're going to come on down here to Miami, man.

Speaker 1 Come on here down to Miami. I think, Pat, we need a superstar.
We need a superstar. I'm not saying it's LeBron.

Speaker 1 Tyler Hero.

Speaker 1 Pat ain't giving up. We're not giving away Bam.
We're not giving up Bam. You ain't giving up Tyler Hero.
He's giving up Tyler Hero, bro.

Speaker 1 No. Remember,

Speaker 1 hold up. Three years.
Hold up. Was it three years ago, Joe? He had an opportunity to get James Harden, and he wouldn't include Tyler Hero in the package.

Speaker 1 You think he's going to give up Tyler Hero after he just watched him?

Speaker 1 He averaged 23. He's probably going to win sixth man of the year.
He just dropped 38 in a playoff game. And you think he's going to give that up?

Speaker 1 And Tyler Hero can't be no more than what, 23, 24, Joe? Yeah, he's probably talking about 24.

Speaker 1 We all talk about one of the greatest scorers of all time. We talk about, right?

Speaker 1 We talk about that KD. We talk about that, Kevin Durant.
Yeah. Right?

Speaker 1 Okay.

Speaker 1 I'm just curious. How old is KD? What are you? 37, 36, 37, yeah.

Speaker 1 The Mavs have traded out of the 2027,

Speaker 1 1-2 protected, 28, 29 first-round picks and a 2030 pick swap with San Antonio. They ain't got nothing to offer.

Speaker 1 The ball women used to say, hey, hey, you're going to get me there. What you want me to get it with, son? Ass and mouth?

Speaker 1 What Dallas gonna offer, Joe?

Speaker 1 Hey,

Speaker 1 listen. I don't know, but I just figured he went to school in Texas.
I feel like he'll go back to Texas and play. Okay, he will.

Speaker 1 I'm not going to give him to you.

Speaker 1 Yeah, I know, but I don't know. They're going to have to figure out something.
It's going to have to be a three-team trade, four-team. It's going to be some teams.
Get in with him or something.

Speaker 1 Hey, listen.

Speaker 1 Obviously, you have to take. But the question is, what about, okay?

Speaker 1 AD going to want an extension. Kyrie gonna want an extension.

Speaker 12 Run a business and and not thinking about radio? Think again. Because more people are listening to the radio and iHeart today than they were 20 years ago.

Speaker 12 And only iHeart Broadcast Radio connects with more Americans than TV, digital, social, any other media. Even twice as many teens than TikTok.
And that reach means everything.

Speaker 12 Just think about the universal marketing formula. The number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results.
Now let's get those results growing for your business.

Speaker 12 Radio's here now more than ever, and iHeart's leading the way. Think radio can help your business?

Speaker 7 What do you tell men that are hurting right now?

Speaker 35 Everything's gonna be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it.

Speaker 37 And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath.

Speaker 34 Wow.

Speaker 38 Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as people is just breathe.

Speaker 41 Listening to other people's near-death experiences.

Speaker 42 And that's all they say. In conclusion, love is the answer.

Speaker 43 Listen to Sacred Lessons as part of the My Gutura Podcast Network.

Speaker 25 This week, me and my co-hosts, Nora Vasconcelos and Alex White, we have Fabiana Delfino on the show, a professional skateboarder from Florida whose crit was forged in a family of athletes.

Speaker 26 Tune in to hear how she broke into the boys' club, what it takes to be pro, and why just being grateful you're here shouldn't be the price of entry.

Speaker 15 Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago, because that's when they maybe started paying attention.

Speaker 31 So listen to good luck with that on iHeartRadio apps, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 1 Kyrie is gonna get his in offseason.

Speaker 1 He gonna get his in offseason. But it doesn't matter what Phoenix does, right? They will never be able to get back the conversation or the value that they gave up to get KD.

Speaker 1 You never will.

Speaker 1 You never will. So at some point, knowing that he wants to move, you're gonna have to do the best you can.
And the best thing they can do is sit him right here down to Miami.

Speaker 1 I'm gonna talk to Pat. I'm gonna tell Pat, Pat, listen, you got to change your ways.

Speaker 1 Pat Riley is like you a little bit.

Speaker 1 He stuck. he's stuck in the 80s.
He's stuck in the 90s.

Speaker 1 He's doing everything the opposite way as opposed to the times we're in.

Speaker 1 And that's hurt. That's hurt us

Speaker 1 as an organization and me as a heat fan. Don't go down there playing with Pat.
Pat ain't trying to hear all that. And that's the thing, the Ocho.
Think about it.

Speaker 1 The Lakers had, excuse me, the Heat had won back-to-back championships. They're in the midst of a 27-game winning streak.
And Pat want to plume his feathers. He wants to puff out his chest.

Speaker 1 He's going to take the cookies.

Speaker 1 Kate, you got to understand, you have to deal in basketball. Stars have always,

Speaker 1 stars have always run the NBA.

Speaker 1 Pat needs to understand that

Speaker 1 it has to be a little bit more give and take, Joe, even than when you was in there. It's more, it's more give.
The players are fully empowered now. Now, they're trying to wrestle some of it back.

Speaker 1 And you see the trade with Luca, it had everybody on eggshells. You heard Giannis, I guess, ain't nobody safe.

Speaker 1 Ain't nobody safe. You hear all the guys talking.

Speaker 1 Yeah.

Speaker 1 Pat's going to have to look, Pat. Everybody knows

Speaker 1 what I hate is when people try to, bro, we know you're in control, Pat.

Speaker 1 But cookies,

Speaker 1 hey, D-Wade told the story. D-Wade said LeBron pushed back from the

Speaker 1 card table and sat there.

Speaker 1 Man,

Speaker 1 hey, he didn't play no more cards. And you know, Joe, you play cards, we from the area.
If you push back from the table, you start playing, it takes up something real serious to break up a card game.

Speaker 1 Yeah.

Speaker 1 A card game? Yeah. When you playing tongue, you playing bo-ray, you playing cuts.

Speaker 1 I don't care what you play.

Speaker 1 If you break the card,

Speaker 1 you break the card game up, OJo. That's a rap.
It's something serious. Yeah.
Okay. And then you will try to come on there.
Hey, pull your rings out your pocket. You need

Speaker 1 Bronze in later for you. Yeah.
Later for you. Now look at it.
Jimmy Butler did the same thing.

Speaker 1 Yeah. Pull it.
Hold on.

Speaker 1 All I would have needed to look at D-Wade after everything D-Wade did. D-Wade.

Speaker 1 Pat Roddy ain't got no loyalty now. Hey, look.
The only person he's ever had loyalty to was who?

Speaker 1 UD. Because UD turned that big deal down from Dallas, took less money, and they took care of UD.
I get that. But your best player was Dwayne Wade.

Speaker 1 And you mean to tell me he had to go to Chicago after all the backseats that he took so you could get players?

Speaker 1 I was on that team. I was on that team playing with D-Wade that last year in Miami.
And we all was free agents. It was a lot of us that was free agents after that year.
And they was like, man,

Speaker 1 you know, y'all going to come back to Miami? And of course, I wouldn't love to come back to Miami. But when we started negotiations, D-Wade was just trying to get 10 a year.

Speaker 1 He was just trying to get 10 a year. And man, they threw a fit at D-Wade.
I'm like, man,

Speaker 1 that man got Wade County and and everything out there. He can't get nothing.

Speaker 1 No need me calling Pat. I said, let me just move on.

Speaker 1 I'm going to just go to Utah. I'm going to kick it with these boys over here in Utah.
We're going to raise some hell over there.

Speaker 1 I was like, hey, Joe,

Speaker 1 only they gave him a fit only at 10 a year. Only 10? Yeah, man.
Yeah, that man was just trying to get 10 a year. And I seen all the trouble he was having with it.
I'm like, hold on.

Speaker 1 It ain't no need me. It ain't even, it ain't even, it ain't even no need of my representation calling, Pat.
We just might as well keep it moving.

Speaker 1 You know, they're raising time.

Speaker 1 That's a phone call or some oxygen. I might need that oxygen down the road somewhere.
And I race it three or four minutes with him. Now I'm good.
Hey, hey, you talk.

Speaker 1 Okay, hold on. I'll be there.
Don't worry about it. Yeah.

Speaker 1 And that's the thing, though, Ocho, is you think about it, after everything that D-Wade had done, all the sacrifice that he had taken, he had helped recruit Bosch. He had helped recruit LeBron.

Speaker 1 He took less money because they would say, hey, we need you to take less money. We're going to get KD.
We're going to get KD. Okay, well, KD don't come.

Speaker 1 And you gave Bosch that big, yeah, okay, what break red now? Yeah. Right.

Speaker 1 Yeah. And so that's why I don't, look, I don't feel bad when players leave because it's loyalty is a one-sided equation.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 They want players to be loyalty, loyal. And then when you don't, you, when you don't do what they say, they're like, well, he's not serious about winning.
No.

Speaker 1 Hey, look at Boston. They win it.
And they got two of the highest paid guys

Speaker 1 in the NBA. Both of them are making over 300 million.
And

Speaker 1 you just gave

Speaker 1 Derek White like 120. You gave Holiday like 130.
Yeah. So all 50 games.

Speaker 1 Huh? They gave Pritchard something too. What they give Pritchard? Yeah, they gave a little Pritchard.
And they're about to do something with Brazingas.

Speaker 1 Hey,

Speaker 1 Al Harper. And you know, when you win.

Speaker 1 You know, everybody eat. You know what I mean? Yes.
So, you know, they won that title, and I'm I'm sure they're looking to repeat.

Speaker 1 It's going to be tough to knock them boys out, man.

Speaker 1 This is probably the most interesting playoffs that we probably had in quite some time because the one in the ACs are going to be tough, especially in the West.

Speaker 1 Yeah. Oh, yeah, for sure.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 And, but the Pat got to realize, Pat, ain't nobody coming to see you play.

Speaker 1 He wants to be the central theme.

Speaker 1 But you know,

Speaker 1 he's a central theme without making any noise.

Speaker 1 Oh, no, he's doing some back leg stuff behind the under the scenes. Everybody knows who running the show.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 But see, my thing is, Ocho, if you say, well, hey, Shannon, I'm going to give you, here's the job. I'm going to pay you X.
I'm going to let you have access. I'm going to let X, Y, and Z.

Speaker 1 Now, when you get me there, don't think you're going to change up.

Speaker 1 Because

Speaker 1 I'm going to buck. I'm going to act up.
I'm just going to tell you how it is.

Speaker 1 Be one way with me. When you tell me what I get, okay?

Speaker 1 That's That's it. That's it.
You tell me, I get a room, I get a suite on the road. Don't you come here and talk about, hey, well, they ain't have no suites available.

Speaker 1 You should have booked this in advance.

Speaker 1 Just

Speaker 1 do. I'm always going to be, this is how I am, Joe.
Just do what you say.

Speaker 1 I don't want you to do anything. If we didn't agree, do it, oh, Joe.
I'm cool with it. I am absolutely cool with it.
But boy, you tell me something

Speaker 1 and then you're going to tell me, uh-uh,

Speaker 1 and do another. Don't worry about it.

Speaker 1 I ain't going to even hold you. Right.

Speaker 1 But I just want you to know: the first chance I get, I'm going to exit stage left. Yeah.

Speaker 1 I ain't finna argue. I ain't finna argue with you,

Speaker 1 you know, because a lot of times you're like, well, he's difficult.

Speaker 1 If you tell me something and you don't follow through, you better believe I'm difficult. I'm a difficult mofo to deal with.
Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 1 1,000. So you're not dealing with the games, huh? I don't.
Just be, Ocho, I've always been. Tell me the truth.
I might not like it,

Speaker 1 but I can stomach it because I feel you're being honest with me. Honest.
Yes, sir. If you lie to me one time,

Speaker 1 don't even worry about it. And one, you don't give nobody no grace.
Nah,

Speaker 1 not when it comes to business. Oh,

Speaker 1 because now I can't trust you, Ocho. Right, right.

Speaker 1 Your word needs to be what it is. If I tell you, I'm going to pay you $10.

Speaker 1 I'm going to give you $10, not $9.50, not $875. I'm going to give you $10.

Speaker 1 But don't bring your ass here talking about we agreed to $13.

Speaker 1 Look here.

Speaker 1 Is that your signature right there?

Speaker 1 Okay, we agreed to 10. That's how I am, OJo.
I don't know how you guys are, Joe. But just be straight up with me.
That was the same way, bro. The same way.
I totally understand. I totally understand.

Speaker 1 Hey, check this out, Joe. You're going to get a kick out of this one.

Speaker 1 The Clippers use Ben Simmons as Nicola Jokic in their scout team at practice.

Speaker 1 Man, I mean, you can't better use the two boxes. I bet.
I bet. I bet Ben probably killed in that role.
Guys, it'd be different sometimes. You put him in practice, you make them be somebody else.

Speaker 1 Man, they will actually probably play better than him at times.

Speaker 1 I just

Speaker 1 shoot, though, Joe.

Speaker 1 He's afraid to shoot, though. He is, man.

Speaker 1 I watched the game the other day against the Warriors, actually. and uh

Speaker 1 man had a point blank layup man and he

Speaker 1 he just passed it out yes bro i think i think we look at his height and because he's 6'9 6'10 but man that man is a true point guard man he's a true point guard yeah he's a pass first point guard

Speaker 1 well he's a pass first not shoot at all point guard which is not very good it's not not not not in today's game Not in today's game, because the three-point shot in the space,

Speaker 1 we have a very special guest joining us, WWE Superstar.

Speaker 1 Ah, here she is, the only woman.

Speaker 1 Go ahead. Here she is, Bianca Belair.
Bianca, how you doing? I'm doing good. I'm in Vegas.
I'm getting ready for WrestleMania, so I'm doing good. How are you?

Speaker 1 I'm good. So let me ask you a question.
You're getting ready for WrestleMania. Tell me what you're going through.
So what's the steps now?

Speaker 1 Okay, it's a couple of days away from wrestlemania are you doing anything different are you eating anything different you're making sure you get your rest what what what are you going through no i'm locked in it's wrestlemania so wrestlemania is our super bowl so yeah i'm i'm dieting listen my body is full of water grilled chicken broccoli um i'm over here like working out i'm big and strong right now

Speaker 1 dang on choose your arm bigger than yours ocho put your arm down on your and you know i i hey b can i can i call you bb i gotta give you a nickname yeah Yeah, that's good. It's good.
Okay.

Speaker 1 Now, I understand when it comes to wrestling, now, I'm, I'm known historically for my bad diet and still being able to play at a high level,

Speaker 1 eating McDonald's only.

Speaker 1 Is it,

Speaker 1 is your diet strict? Are you vegetarian, vegan, or I don't know some of these other names? Or do you have cheat meals as well? No, I have cheat meals. So

Speaker 1 I'm somebody who

Speaker 1 I don't like to, I'm moderation, right? Like, I don't like to like cut anything out. If I want it, I have it in moderation, but when it's WrestleMania, I lock in.

Speaker 1 I pretty much, I tried to have cheat meals. So I'm ready for Sunday.
I'm on night two WrestleMania. And after Sunday, after I defeat EO and Rhea and I take that title,

Speaker 1 I'm going to do McDonald's party the next day.

Speaker 1 So tell me about the triple. So Bianca, tell us about the triple threat match.
How does that go? Yeah, so I have a title match. I'm in a triple threat match.
I'm going against Rhea Ripley.

Speaker 1 And right now, our WWE women's champion is EO Scott. So it's a a triple threat.
And whoever gets the first pin wins. So at this point, I won Elimination Chamber.

Speaker 1 I'm supposed to be going to WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 I'm supposed to be facing

Speaker 1 EO Scott. And it's just been a bunch of shenanigans.
Like my path to WrestleMania has been crazy. I ended up being a special guest referee.
And so now it's a triple threat.

Speaker 1 So that's why I'm going up against it at WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 Okay. Now, hold on.
What happened? You, Jade, and Naomi, y'all were cool. I know.
Jade, my girl, hold on now. Hey, if this a beef, I don't know.
I'm about to come down there, Bianca, something now.

Speaker 1 What's really going on?

Speaker 1 It's crazy right now. WrestleMania season, it gets crazy and it breaks my heart.
Yeah, you know,

Speaker 1 so much has happened in a year. Last WrestleMania, you had the big three.
You had me, Jade, and Naomi. We were having a tag match.
Jade and I, we were in a tag team together.

Speaker 1 We did amazing things. We put the tag team division on the map.
And then it's just a lot that happened.

Speaker 1 You know, Jay got taken out and naomi stepped in so that i wouldn't have to relinquish that title because i felt like we put so much hard work into it and so the whole time we're trying to figure out who took jade out and come to find out

Speaker 1 it was naomi what

Speaker 1 it was naomi

Speaker 1 Trust me, I was just as confused as everybody else. Jay came back.
I thought she was coming back. Listen, I done been loud and wrong the whole time.

Speaker 1 I've been attacking other girls, thinking they the ones that did it, making enemies. Jade came back.

Speaker 1 I'm thinking she coming for live.

Speaker 1 She started beating up Naomi. I'm like, what is going on? So at this point, I feel like I'm now stuck in the middle.

Speaker 1 You know, Jade, I don't think she trusting me right now. And I'm like, well, I'm confused.
So right now, I feel like we're trying to get through WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 Jade has a match with Naomi, which breaks my heart. I have a triple threat match.
And I think we're just trying to get through WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 Then, you know, maybe we'll revisit that and try to figure all that out.

Speaker 1 It's crazy. Hey, you know what?

Speaker 1 Speaking of WrestleMania, listen, you've you've created some historic, historic moments at WrestleMania, obviously.

Speaker 1 And looking back, if you're able to look back, what's your favorite WrestleMania memory moments so far?

Speaker 1 Well, I mean, I definitely have to go with main event in WrestleMania with Sasha Banks.

Speaker 1 We made history. We were the first two black women to main event WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 It was coming right off of the pandemic, so it was a crazy time in the world but i i was i was a rookie my very first year i found myself in a main event in wrestlemania i won the smackdown title we won an esp off of that match so we got recognizing the world of sports which i'm all about because i've been an athlete my whole life so and ever since that moment like it's just changed the whole trajectory of my career and it's been uphill since then but that's that's the memory that's always going to stick with me because it was more than just about having a wrestling match you know like it was about inspiring generations to come and being a representation.

Speaker 1 So that's definitely like the moment that sticks with me. Right.
Hey, Bianca, I want to ask a question. This is Joe.

Speaker 1 What's your regimen as far as working out? I see you cut up over there. What you,

Speaker 1 how you stay tone? What you doing? Yoga, Pilates? What's the secret? I don't. You cut up like a bag of dope.

Speaker 1 Listen, I don't do yoga and politics because I can't sit still.

Speaker 1 I'm a girl who

Speaker 1 I lift very heavyweight. I do a lot of circuit training, but I live very heavyweight.
I do a lot of circuit training, like CrossFit type of training, but I can't sit still.

Speaker 1 I can't get with the yoga and Pilates.

Speaker 1 The CrossFit, it's not a lot of wrist in that. It's just like

Speaker 1 constant moving, huh? Yeah, to me, it's like the best thing to do to kind of simulate wrestling because it's full body movements and it's just like circuit training. Yeah.

Speaker 1 So you more of a hit, you more of a hit type of workout. You like high intensity and you like to keep it going.
So I'm going to do this for an hour. I know I'm going to burn maximum calories.

Speaker 1 I'm getting full body because look, everybody ain't got time. I'm going to hit chest and tries.
I'm going to hit back and buy. I'm going to hit hamstrings a day.
I'm going to hit quads tomorrow.

Speaker 1 I'm going to do, you know, I'm trying to get in the day. Hey, I got

Speaker 1 a small amount of time.

Speaker 1 I'm going to get in the gym. I'm going to kill it all.
I'm hitting back, shoulders, abs, hamstrings, glute, walking.

Speaker 1 A full body workout. I mean, we travel a lot.
So like we, we always have to try to find whatever gym might be a hotel gym, whatever gym is on the corner that day.

Speaker 1 Like, so we have to try to like adjust to what we're doing. So I'm always trying to get the best workout in.
I'm always a hit girl. I'm not doing cardio.
This is a hit. And I love the pilloton.

Speaker 1 Like I stay on the pilloton. That's the only way I can do cardio on a machine.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 So, but when you, let me ask you this. When you work out, do you have, do you like listening to music or do you just?

Speaker 1 I do. i do i do but my my playlist is like all over the place i i be

Speaker 1 i be having like meg and cardi and and then next thing you know it's kurt franklin like i listen

Speaker 1 i listen to a lot of gospel music when i work out because i'll be going through it i'm like lord just jesus take the wheel help me get through this because when people when people be asking me can i come work out with you and i'll be like i don't think you want to do that because right i'll be i'd be getting it in

Speaker 1 what what what what different what different sports did you did you play growing up um so I started out with it with track and field and gymnastics so those were those are like my my my two bases which I feel like you can see the foundation yeah that's my foundation track and field and gymnastics and um I did those sports majority of my life I played basketball as well um you can hold but I'm sorry

Speaker 1 I mean

Speaker 1 I was I was good on defense I got I got the rebounds

Speaker 1 Listen,

Speaker 1 I say that to ask, like, what sports you played growing up?

Speaker 1 And I just want to know at what point was a transition for you really when you realized, you know, a raster is my calling and not the other sports that I play as a, as a, as a young man?

Speaker 1 Yeah, that didn't happen until I was an adult. I was 27.
So I went to college and ran track. I went to

Speaker 1 University of South Carolina, Texas A ⁇ M and University of Tennessee. I ran track.

Speaker 1 And after

Speaker 1 college, I was like, I've been an athlete my whole life. I have to do something.
So that's when I found CrossFit.

Speaker 1 And I realized like my whole life, I've been grinding and trying to get a scholarship and working so hard. I was forgetting to have fun when I was working, when I was playing sports.

Speaker 1 So CrossFit, I was like, okay, I'm having fun. I'm going to make it some of my own outfits.
I was going out there in tutus.

Speaker 1 I was turning flips and then doing the power clean and press and grabbing the microphone and talking to the audience. And Mark Henry, who's a WWE Hall of Fame, he saw a video of me.

Speaker 1 He's like, you're basically a wrestler. You're basically wearing a wrestling gear.
You're talking to the audience. And

Speaker 1 I didn't really watch wrestling growing up. My brother watched it.
So I would watch it here and there with him. So I was just somebody who didn't know much about the business.
So he got me a tryout.

Speaker 1 And

Speaker 1 I did two tryouts, got hired, had no idea what I was doing. And then I completely fell in love with it.
So I love meeting people who always say like, I don't watch wrestling. That's not for me.

Speaker 1 Or I haven't watched it since back in the day and I'm like listen that used to be me just just come to a show just watch and you're gonna fall in love so much has changed and so I feel like it's my soulmate like I think of it as like my husband like once wrestling came into my life I'm like where have you been this whole time this is what I've been looking for

Speaker 12 run a business and not thinking about podcasting think again more Americans listen to podcasts than ad-supported streaming music from Spotify and Pandora and as the number one podcaster iHeart's twice as large as the next two combined.

Speaker 12 So, whatever your customers are into-true crime, sports, comedy, culture-they'll hear your message. Plus, only iHeart can extend your message to audiences across broadcast radio.

Speaker 12 And all this reach means everything. Just think about the universal marketing formula: the number of consumers who hear your message times the response rate equals the results.

Speaker 12 Now, let's get those results growing for you. Think podcasting can help your business? Think iHeart, streaming, radio, and podcasting.

This is Sacred Lessons, a a space for reflection, growth, and collective healing.

Speaker 7 What do you tell men that are hurting right now?

Speaker 35 Everything's gonna be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it.

Speaker 37 And you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath.

Speaker 34 Wow.

Speaker 38 Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as people is just breathe.

Speaker 1 Next to the wound is your gifts.

Speaker 39 You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound.

Speaker 40 That's the hard thing.

Speaker 39 You think, well, I'm going to get my gifts. I don't want to go through all that.
You got to go through the wounds you left.

Speaker 41 Listening to other people's near-death experiences.

Speaker 1 And that's all they say.

Speaker 42 In conclusion, love is the answer.

Speaker 43 Listen to Sacred Lessons as part of the My Gutura Podcast Network. Available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 15 If one of us wins, would we all win?

Speaker 17 I'm Ashley Reitfeld and I'm the host of the Women's Skateboarding Podcast.

Speaker 18 Good luck with that.

Speaker 20 Good luck with that is a skateboarding podcast that is part cultural record, part news brief, mostly group therapy, and a place to talk about the past, present, and future of women and gender expansive skateboarding.

Speaker 25 This week, me and my co-hosts Nora Vasconcelos and Alex White, we have Fabiana Delfino on the show, a professional skateboarder from Florida whose grip was forged in a family of athletes.

Speaker 26 Tune in to hear how she broke into the boys club, what it takes to be pro, and why just being grateful you're here shouldn't be the price of entry.

Speaker 15 Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago, because that's when they maybe started paying attention.

Speaker 29 It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the years, stacking clips and receipts, and still having to prove your worth while the industry catches up.

Speaker 30 You break down the door, sick, now like, hold the door for everyone.

Speaker 25 We created good luck with that because we want to share our experience of existing in an industry that wasn't always built for everyone.

Speaker 31 So listen to good luck with that on iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 44 Greatness doesn't just show up.

Speaker 1 It's built.

Speaker 44 One shot, one choice, one moment at a time. From NBA champion Stephan Curry comes Shot Ready, a powerful never-before-seen look at the mindset that changed the game.

Speaker 1 I fell in love with the grinds.

Speaker 46 Success is not an accident. I'm passing the ball to you.
Let's go.

Speaker 44 Steph Curry redefined basketball. Now he's rewriting what it means to succeed.

Speaker 1 Now, you know, Jay played college basketball also. So one-on-one,

Speaker 1 who win it? Listen, we did

Speaker 1 hot ones and we had to play basketball and she whooped me she whooped me

Speaker 1 i call myself the est

Speaker 1 but she she whooped me in basketball yeah she no she's huge she's really athletic i've seen her work out a couple times she used to train with the trainer that trained me uh when i retired no she she she's y'all work out have y'all worked out together um we haven't Every time we went on, we would go on the road, we would try to get together and work out.

Speaker 1 Well, actually, one time we did work out, but we actually read our mouths more than we worked out. So

Speaker 1 that didn't go well.

Speaker 1 Here's the thing. Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton got a little personal with their comments.

Speaker 1 Did you think they crossed the line? You say, oh, don't worry about it. When I get y'all ass in that ring, we'll settle this.

Speaker 1 Listen, in wrestling, you never know what's going to happen. That's what's really cool about wrestling.
That's what makes it entertaining.

Speaker 1 You never know when lines are being blurred or when they're not being blurred.

Speaker 1 And, you know, I think that with what happened in the ring, it caused a lot of conversation online and it brought more eyes to what's about to happen.

Speaker 1 And all I can say is, I feel like a lot more people are going to be tuned in to what's going to be happening at WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 And whatever beef they got inside and outside the ring, they're going to settle that at WrestleMania. And we all going to be locked in watching.

Speaker 1 You know what I like? I like that.

Speaker 1 You got something, Joe? No, I'm going to be tuned in. I want to see what they're talking about.
See what they got going on.

Speaker 1 Exactly.

Speaker 1 I got one more question.

Speaker 1 I got one more. If you could have a dream match with any WWE legend, past or present, who would you choose?

Speaker 1 I will have to go with,

Speaker 1 oh, it's hard to pick one.

Speaker 1 Beth Trish Stratos.

Speaker 1 You know, Trish,

Speaker 1 she just came in and like had a couple of matches. She still can throw down in that ring.
She gets down.

Speaker 1 But for me, I think it would be Beth Phoenix.

Speaker 1 Just because she was like one of the first ones that I watched and I saw her pick up two girls on her shoulders and I'm like, she

Speaker 1 yeah. And I'm like, I want to do that.
Like, I want to do that. Beth Phoenix and Jazz.
Those would be my top two.

Speaker 1 Okay.

Speaker 1 I like it. I like it.
We saw you recently returned to your high school to donate hurdles.

Speaker 1 You mentioned that you played it. You ran track at the University of South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas AM.
Curtis Fry, the head coach at Texas at South Carolina. I think is it McKenna now?

Speaker 1 Because he used to be at LSU. Now he's at Texas A ⁇ M, correct? Oh, I'm not sure.
When I was there, it was Coach Anderson at Texas A ⁇ M. Okay.

Speaker 1 Yeah.

Speaker 1 So what was your fondest memory of high school? I mean, because obviously you were very athletic. You had to be one of the most popular girls at that school.

Speaker 1 I was, you know what? I was popular, but not because I had a lot of friends.

Speaker 1 I was actually very quiet and reserved into myself, into myself in high school. I had like a very select group of friends.

Speaker 1 Like my best friend to this day was my best friend when I was like eight years old, even even through high school.

Speaker 1 That was awesome. But it's, I was so locked in with track, like, where everybody else was at parties.
I was on the track running.

Speaker 1 I was waking up in the morning doing, I would do a thousand abs every morning and like 300 push-ups every morning. And

Speaker 1 I was, I was focused in high school. But, um, I think my best, it's crazy.
My best memories were on the track with the track team.

Speaker 1 Like, yeah, we, we, we were like, my group of friends, that was like the first lesson of like women empowerment for me because we really stuck together. We really pushed each other.
Um,

Speaker 1 and we trained hard. Like, we, we're still friends to this day.
And then I think like my high school, I think, like football games, like my high school, the band mimicked the HBCU type of band.

Speaker 1 Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 And I was a,

Speaker 1 yeah, I was a cheerleader and I played basketball. And so, like we were like my cheerleading team, we were like the Clovers.
So we were more of a step team.

Speaker 1 And like I would, I would play basketball with the girls. And then after the game, I would go in the locker room and switch over from my basketball uniform into my cheerleading uniform.

Speaker 1 And then I would go out and then cheer for the boys and flip down the court. Damn, be out.

Speaker 1 Yeah.

Speaker 1 So those are like my fondest memories. It all like revolved around like sports and stuff.

Speaker 1 I can honestly say in all my life,

Speaker 1 I've been and look i've been i was in 4-h i was raised on a farm i've been to the county fair i ain't never heard no like that

Speaker 1 i'm a hoop

Speaker 1 for the whip it and then i'm gonna go change out i'm gonna give a shit lady

Speaker 1 i'm gonna talk of the pyramid go guys damn i was a libay of the pyramid i was the base

Speaker 1 yeah hey here hearing the story hearing your stories about track it resonates with me so well because obviously my daughter runs track right now for university of of Kentucky, and she's a sophomore.

Speaker 1 And her friend, her whole core group, her nucleus is actually those that run track with her because there's nobody really outside of that.

Speaker 1 And that's really dope. That's really cool.
Yeah, man. I always feel like women in sports, we learn our best lessons.

Speaker 1 Whether you go and become an Olympian or a professional athlete or not, you learn so many lessons when it comes to sports and you get so many friends that become lifelong friends.

Speaker 1 So I'm happy she's having a great experience. Yeah.
But you know, you said track. Go ahead.
Go ahead, Joe.

Speaker 1 What about your

Speaker 1 athletic ability? Which, which parent does it come from? It comes from your mom or your dad? From both. From both.
My mama said she was fast. And

Speaker 1 she ran a track. She said, well, no, you know what? Neither one of them actually played sports in high school, but they both said that they were both athletic.

Speaker 1 We ain't got no foot.

Speaker 1 No,

Speaker 1 I just take their word for it.

Speaker 1 I have to believe it because I got it from somewhere.

Speaker 1 I got it from both of them.

Speaker 1 Bianca,

Speaker 1 there's nothing easy about track practice because it's you. You have to do the work and you're only going to get in what you, you're only going to get out what you put in.

Speaker 1 That's a really lonely sport. It's a really individual sport because can't nobody help you?

Speaker 1 I always say track is, we were just talking about this with my parents over the weekend. Track is one of the hardest sports out there.
And we were saying how you train so hard.

Speaker 1 And like, say, for instance, say you run the 100 and you train for 10 seconds, 11 seconds. That's it.
And it's not, you don't get, you don't get immediate immediate gratification.

Speaker 1 And for instance, for like basketball, even if you lose the game,

Speaker 1 you still score points, you score buckets. So you get that immediate gratification.
Football, you might score a touchdown. Track,

Speaker 1 that gun goes off across the finish line that's it and a lot of times you hardly if you're if you're like the top top top you you win a lot right but if you're not you hardly ever really win and track like that's crazy to think about like you trained all these years you train all these days you hardly ever really win you're just you're you're you're you're going against yourself you're you're going against your own time And that's why like if you, a track athlete, when they have a track meet and you ask them like, oh, did you win?

Speaker 1 You're like, it doesn't matter if I won. You should ask like, did you beat your PR? Because it's always you against yourself.
Yeah. And it's a very, very hard sport physically and mentally.

Speaker 1 For the people that didn't watch First Take, we had you on First Take, Stephen A and I and Molly. And you was talking to tell us about the outfits that you wear.
You make all of your own costumes.

Speaker 1 Yeah. Everything that you see her wear in the ring, guys, she designed it.
Yeah, I make everything. Um, all of my gear, I make it.
Most of it, I make it from scratch.

Speaker 1 Some of it, if I run out of time, I'll customize it. But for the most part, I make it.
And I've never taken a sewing class a day in my life. I've learned everything

Speaker 1 through YouTube. YouTube video? YouTube.
YouTube video. Let me get on YouTube right now.
I'm gonna find me something I can do from YouTube. You can't.
Wait, you serious?

Speaker 1 You never learned how to sew, but you can do things from watching YouTube. Yeah, I went on YouTube.
Oh, I took home echo. So I do know how to sew a little, but

Speaker 1 I made a shirt. See? See? Yo.

Speaker 1 See, it's just in trial and error. It takes dedication and time, but I make everything.
It's cool because, like, when I watch my like the video game, the gear that I'm wearing, I made that.

Speaker 1 My action figures, I made that.

Speaker 1 But it's rough because I just, I don't have a lot of time. So a lot of time I'm sewing in like the airport.
I'm sewing in my hotel room.

Speaker 1 It's crazy, but I keep pushing myself and i'm excited about my wrestlemania my wrestlemania gear this year

Speaker 1 would you like to would you like to do movies would you i mean i can see you as an action yeah yeah yeah i did i was in bail air the last season um and that was really really cool that was my first experience of like being in in an actual show but i would love it i mean technically what we do in in in wrestling with storylines it's yeah it is it's acting you know and i look at people like rock john cena batista they've all really

Speaker 1 set that

Speaker 1 blueprint. And now with us going with Netflix, I feel like it's just going to open the door more and more.
So I'm excited for the future. I would love to be in movies.

Speaker 1 Can we expect another season of love in WWE? I mean, I hope so. And I'm waiting to hear back.

Speaker 1 It's funny, though, because I was somebody who was always like, I will never do reality TV. Like, it's not for me.

Speaker 1 and then I learned to never say never. So, uh, you, you know, the opportunity presented itself.
We're like, okay, let's just, let's not try to be perfect. Let's just be real.

Speaker 1 Let's just be us and see where it goes.

Speaker 1 And we really wanted to open, like, pull that curtain back and show people what it's like to be like a WWE superstar and be a spouse at the same time and balance that lifestyle. So I think we like.

Speaker 1 We

Speaker 1 spoon fed the first season. So it would be really cool to do a second season to show more of our life outside of wrestling.

Speaker 1 Yeah, for those that don't know, Bianca's husband is a WWE

Speaker 1 participant, also. So, how did you guys meet? We met in WWE.
So, when I say WWE, like, completely changed my life,

Speaker 1 it completely changed my life. It gave me a whole

Speaker 1 pull to mess with somebody at work, Bianca. Oh, so, so, funny story.

Speaker 1 Funny story. Um,

Speaker 1 yes, yes, that was the rule.

Speaker 1 And

Speaker 1 even

Speaker 1 Mark Henry literally, oh gosh, Mark Henry, the one who got me into WWE.

Speaker 1 So when I first got into WWE, I saw him and he got injured really bad. And he went away for a couple of months.

Speaker 1 I was like, oh, that's a beautiful man. Keep him from me.
And they did it. So a couple of months later,

Speaker 1 he came back and I was like, oh, okay. So this is what we're doing.
And we just like immediately clicked and

Speaker 1 we just like never left each other's side. And then Mark Henry came to the performance center, which is where we train when we first meet in WWE.
He pulls me aside.

Speaker 1 He's like talking to me about like, what do you want to do? And, you know, who do you want to be in the ring? He's like, and, you know, whatever you do, don't date anybody in the business.

Speaker 1 And I'm just like, uh-oh.

Speaker 1 Too late.

Speaker 1 And I was like, okay. And I'm like, oh, no, this is, what do I do now? Yeah.
So

Speaker 1 when he found out we were dating and, you know, we were getting married. I think once he found out we were getting married, he was like, it's okay.
Okay, cool.

Speaker 1 But yeah, we

Speaker 1 just broke all the rules.

Speaker 1 Well, congratulations. WrestleMania 41 is this Friday and Saturday.
Check it out on Peacock at 7 p.m. Eastern

Speaker 1 on Peacock. WrestleMania 41, Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m.
Eastern on Peacock. Peacock.
Anything else you want?

Speaker 1 You promoting anything? You got any supplements? Anything that

Speaker 1 you want to promote while you're here? I'm just here to promote WrestleMania right now. I'm going to be on night two, but WWE, we're taking over Vegas.
It's a whole week long of events.

Speaker 1 We have WWE World with, you know, autograph signings and meet and greets. And we have SmackDown on Friday, Hall of Fame Friday night, WrestleMania night one, WrestleMania night two.

Speaker 1 We have Raw Monday, NXT Tuesday. My match is night two.
I'm having a match, triple threat versus E.L. Scott, Rhea Ripley.

Speaker 1 I'm going after WWE Women's World title, and I'm walking out of WrestleMania as champion because you can't spell WrestleMania without EST. I'm going undefeated at WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 I like it. Let's go.

Speaker 1 Good luck. Good luck.

Speaker 1 Thank you for joining us, Bianca. Best of luck.
Continued success. Congratulations on everything that you've accomplished.
Much more to be accomplished. Thank you for joining us.

Speaker 1 Good luck in WrestleMania. Bring the title home.
And when you get that title, come back and tell us how you did it. I got you.
Thank you for having me. You're very, very welcome.
Thanks, TV.

Speaker 1 Miss Bianca Belair.

Speaker 1 Man, that was, she's unbelievable.

Speaker 1 We had her on a couple of, about a month ago. She was on first take.
And so she's just her personality, Ocho and Joe. Yeah.
She's just, I mean, you could see. She's so bubbly.

Speaker 1 You can see why people gravitate towards her. Her personality is infectious.

Speaker 1 You can tell she's very passionate about what she does. That's why she's good at it.
You heard what she says? I did a thousand sit-ups every morning. I made sure I did 300 push-ups.
I did this.

Speaker 1 I did that.

Speaker 1 You see, a person that's motivated, they're going to be motivated in all things. Yes, sir.
You got to have it.

Speaker 1 And those are the people that you want to surround yourself with. Those are the key people that you want to be in business with.
You want on your team. You want very self-motivated people.

Speaker 1 I don't need to motivate you with money. Right.
Because guess what? When you get enough of it, then what's the stimulus? I don't want to motivate you by fear. I'm going to fire you or I'm going to do.

Speaker 1 At some point in time, they become idle threats.

Speaker 1 Self-motivation is really sustainable.

Speaker 1 And that's what I tell kids all the time, bro.

Speaker 1 Young ladies, guys,

Speaker 1 find something that you're passionate about.

Speaker 1 Don't go to it. That's all you got to do.

Speaker 1 Pour into it. Yes, sir.
That girl cut up like some onions, boys. Ain't she

Speaker 1 man, man? Joe, hey, Joe, she mad, Joe. We can't, we can't.

Speaker 1 I'm happy, okay.

Speaker 1 I'm just saying, and I know you, you got people too.

Speaker 1 You're right.

Speaker 1 Hold on. I can look at the menu now.
I ain't trying to order.

Speaker 1 I'm gonna look. I'm just looking.
Hey, just because you don't order don't mean you can't read the menu because

Speaker 1 I'm looking at the menu. I ain't finna look at it.
Oh, Joe. Once I order, you better come take this menu.
I might order again. Come take it.
No, I don't even know.

Speaker 1 know don't break the dessert menu either

Speaker 1 no because she's just she's she's great i mean i grew up a wrestler i mean uh i'm from georgia so georgia championship wrestling is where it all started it started in the south um wrestling used to be very regional you had the south you had the mid-atlantic you had the midwest and you know it combined but i but my grandfather should take me and my brother to Backslid.

Speaker 1 We go to Savannah. We go to Blackshare.
We go all those little bydelia. And we saw all of them.

Speaker 1 I'm talking about the old, old school wrestlers, like Abdullah the Butcher, Arts Baker, Bo Woo Brazil, Andre the Giant, Ric Flair, Greg Valentine, Ricky.

Speaker 1 I'm talking about you named the old gold guard. Yeah, we saw him.

Speaker 1 Trusha Blackwell, man.

Speaker 1 Oh, Joe, I was in heaven.

Speaker 1 Hey, I was in heaven seeing that.

Speaker 1 My mama used to wake me up every morning and still watching that wrestling hollering carrying on. Juckyard Dog was a favorite wrestler, bro.

Speaker 1 Jucky Hardy. She used to go crazy, about him, man.

Speaker 1 Yeah, man.

Speaker 1 Those were the days, man. Those were the days, man.

Speaker 1 Iron Man.

Speaker 1 Hey, hold up, though. I'm saying back then, did y'all think I was

Speaker 1 going to do it real?

Speaker 1 Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 49 This is that classic HBCU vibe. Non-stop action.

Speaker 32 The band is rocking and the crowd lit.

Speaker 49 Chants echo.

Speaker 33 Drumbeat.

Speaker 49 Everybody's showing that school pride. Game like this? yeah, it calls for an ice-cold Coca-Cola.

Speaker 49 Ah, crisp and refreshing.

Speaker 43 That's a game changer right there.

Speaker 1 Mmm, yeah.

Speaker 49 That taste always hits the right note, just like a band at halftime.

Speaker 49 And just like that, we're back at it. Passionate fans, school colors everywhere, and an ice-cold Coca-Cola?
