Speaker 5 Do you know the symptoms of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea or OSA in adults with obesity?

Speaker 7 They may be happening to you without you knowing.

Speaker 8 If anyone has ever said you snored loudly or if you spend your days fighting off excessive tiredness, irritability, and concentration issues, it may be due to OSA.

Speaker 12 OSA is a serious condition where your airway partially or completely collapses during sleep, which may cause breathing interruptions and oxygen deprivation.

Speaker 19 Hydrodonitis superativa, HS, caused bumps and abscesses that made me feel embarrassed.

Speaker 21 I talked to my dermatologist and started a treatment that works for me, Cosentix. I found relief.

Speaker 22 Cosentix Seccukinumab is prescribed for adults with moderate to severe hydrodonitis superativa, HS. Don't use if allergic to Cosentix.
Get checked for TB before starting.

Speaker 22 Increased risk of infections and lowered ability to fight them may occur, like TB or other serious bacterial, fungal, or viral infections. Some were fatal.

Speaker 22 Tell your doctor if you have an infection or symptoms, like fevers, sweats, chills, muscle aches, or cough, had a vaccine or plan to, or if IBD symptoms develop or worsen.

Speaker 22 Serious allergic reactions and severe eczema-like skin reactions may occur. Learn more at 1-844-COSENTIX or COSENTIX.com.

Speaker 21 You're stronger than HS. Ask your dermatologist about Cosentix.

Uh,

Speaker 23 drafted in the first round by the Baltimore Ravens. Now he's a Pittsburgh Steeler, so he's had an opportunity to see both sides of the rivalry.

Speaker 23 Patrick Queen joins us a little later in the show, but first,

Speaker 23 the biggest loser of the day, Ocho, the Browns have released their depth chart. Joe Flacco,

Speaker 25 I told you, QB1,

Speaker 23 Kenny Pickett,

Speaker 23 two,

Speaker 23 Dylan Gabriel, three. Shadur Sanders, five.
Excuse me, four.

Speaker 23 But they did bring in because two of the four quarterbacks are injured. Hamstring, Kenny Pickett, and Dylan Gabriel.
And a few hours ago, this is what Adam Schefter tweeted.

Speaker 23 The Browns are signing Tyler Snoop Huntley, who spent part of last season with Cleveland. With Kenny Pickett, Dylan Gabriel nursing hamstring injuries and Shadura Sanders having a sore shoulder.

Speaker 23 The Browns need another arm. Enter Huntley.

Speaker 25 Yes, sir. Talk to me.
Mojo.

Speaker 23 I don't know what the Browns do.

Speaker 25 We don't know what they've done the last 35 quarters we've had.

Speaker 23 Do they know?

Speaker 23 Are we sure they know?

Speaker 25 Have they known what they've done since that franchise has been established? Have they figured it out yet?

Speaker 25 Because the last good quarterback, no disrespect to the quarterbacks that have played for the Cleveland Browns, the last one that has been of decency has been Bernie Colesart, if I'm not mistaken.

Speaker 23 Yeah, that's the mid-80s. Mid-who?

Speaker 23 Okay, well, there you go.

Speaker 25 Mid-80s. There you go.
That's no disrespect to any of the quarterbacks that have played there, but it is what it is. We talk about consistency.

Speaker 25 Have we had one for a decade that we've been able to lean on and build around?

Speaker 23 No, you had a couple of years, you got a couple of years of Baker, but outside of that, no.

Speaker 25 No disrespect. Come on, man.

Speaker 25 Come on, man.

Speaker 25 So, how do we, how do we, how would we?

Speaker 23 That's the problem that you have.

Speaker 25 How are we supposed to trust this organization when it comes to choosing quarterbacks at the position when they haven't figured it out all these years all of a sudden now they got all the motherfuckers excuse me now they got all the sense they're supposed to have all the sense now especially the depth chart to me

Speaker 25 i'm gonna let you go the depth chart to me doesn't mean anything we know what jack joe flackhun would do when the lights come on kenny pickett had this opportunity when he when he was drafted to the steelers So we've seen a sample side of that already.

Speaker 25 I mean, no disrespect to him. He's not the answer.
Dylan Gabriel has success at Oregon when the lights come on.

Speaker 25 But it's a different ballgame game in the NFL with them grown men that got mouth to feed.

Speaker 25 Everyone should get an ample chance to win their starting position. We already know who quarterback money is going to be.
We know who that's going to be. The depth chart doesn't mean anything.

Speaker 25 What they're trying to do is they're trying to break young bull. They're trying to break him, huh? That's all it is.

Speaker 25 From the draft process to getting drafted in the fifth round to the owner coming out and saying what you said last week to now. Man, come on with that bull job, man.

Speaker 23 i don't see how kenny pickett still remains number two he hadn't practiced since the 26th of july if i'm not mistaken so he's been dealing with a hamstring injury but

Speaker 23 when you go out and sign somebody in free agency i mean i guess that does tell you they do think highly of him because they signed him um dylan gabriel he's get dealing with a hamstring um

Speaker 23 I guess the worst thing that happened is that we could have found out because

Speaker 23 had both of those guys been injured we head into the first preseason game and only flacco and shador is healthy now it remains to see to be seen how much joe flacco is going to play if he plays i'm thinking maybe a series ocho that's top let's let's be generous and say a series

Speaker 23 now that was going to be shador opportunity to basically take us home We saw Trey Lance. Trey Lance started the game and played, what, deep into the fourth quarter?

Speaker 23 Hell, he might have finished the game. With that being said,

Speaker 23 the worst thing that could possibly happen for the Browns is that the two quarterbacks that you're probably counting on, they both got hurt and they got hurt early. Now, we'll see how soon

Speaker 23 it remains to be seen. I think I said last night they played Thursday.
They played Thursday or Friday. Is it Friday?

Speaker 23 Okay. Okay, they played Friday.
They played Friday against the Panthers.

Speaker 25 I'm excited.

Speaker 23 Is Shadur going to play?

Speaker 25 He didn't have a choice. This is part of his resume.

Speaker 23 But if it showed, but what if he had? I mean,

Speaker 23 I mean, clearly they don't feel that confident because if they thought Shadur was going to be able to go, would they have brought a Phillips quarterback?

Speaker 25 They had to bring somebody else in because Kenny Pickett's probably not going to play, especially with a Hampstead injury. The game is fighting.

Speaker 23 I don't think either one of them. I don't think two and three is going to play.

Speaker 25 Definitely ain't going to play it. Listen,

Speaker 25 the eye in the sky doesn't lie, and they need Shador to put what he can on tape.

Speaker 23 They need him.

Speaker 25 What are we going to get? Yeah, what did we draft? All the work we put in, obviously, going against offense and defense in practice. That don't mean nothing.

Speaker 23 Well, you don't expect to get Ocho. How long do you expect the $500 call to last?

Speaker 23 Think about where they drafted him now.

Speaker 23 Now, clearly, they ain't put a whole lot of resources behind it.

Speaker 23 So they're not. Let's let's let you know what, Ocho.
We, you know, what we do here,

Speaker 23 we be honest

Speaker 23 chat you know when you go by what we used to call when I was growing up we call it second hand when you go by something secondhand and you spend $500 or you spend a thousand dollars and as is no warranty

Speaker 23 you're not expecting okay hopefully get me from point A to point B They drafted Shadur in the fifth round. They're not expecting much of Shadur.

Speaker 23 They didn't, because if they thought that much of him, they'd have drafted him higher. If they thought that much of him, they would have given him a fair opportunity.
But that's not what they've done.

Speaker 23 And I'm like, look, that's their organization. They run it how they see fit.

Speaker 23 But I don't know, and people in Cleveland, I don't know how you would still have trust in this organization, considering how many quarterbacks and every quarterback they say, oh, he's franchised.

Speaker 23 He's franchised. You said that with Derrick Anderson and you said that

Speaker 23 before him and you said that after him.

Speaker 23 Baker got injured, and you moved on from him. Now, Baker didn't have the weapons that he has in Tampa.
Uh, I don't think Baker's like, oh my God, hang on, I wish I could have stayed in Cleveland.

Speaker 23 The weather's a lot licer in Tampa, and there's no state income tax, and he has a great support system around him.

Speaker 23 With all that being said,

Speaker 23 I don't think

Speaker 23 I don't think it's much to like, boy,

Speaker 23 maybe they better get it. Listen, it happens all the time.
Man,

Speaker 23 I don't want to.

Speaker 23 How does that make me look if Shadur looks well, oh, Joe?

Speaker 25 Excuse me. The adversity and the obstacles that young bull has had to

Speaker 25 endure in general.

Speaker 25 He's been prepped for this.

Speaker 25 He's been prepped for this. Oh, they're against me since he got drafted.
When he dropped in the fifth round, he already knew what time it was.

Speaker 25 When your opportunity gets there, when you get your opportunity, you have no choice but to shine.

Speaker 25 You have no choice. They're betting against him not to do well.

Speaker 23 Right. But if you want me to win the race, Ocho, you got to put me on a fairbread like everybody else.
You can't give me a Clysdale and say go win this race.

Speaker 23 Let me ask you this. When he is in the game, is he going to get the first team offensive line? Uh-uh.

Speaker 23 Because that's what when they want to get when they want to give you a serious look, Ocho, you and I both played this game for a long long period of time.

Speaker 23 When they want to give a receiver a serious look, they let him run with the ones. They don't continually see what he can do with the twos and threes.
They give him a fair opportunity with the ones.

Speaker 23 The number one quarterback, the number one offensive line, and the other one receivers on the opposite side of him.

Speaker 23 Quarterbacks, when they are running backs, when they really want to see what you can do, they let you run with the one, the number one O-line.

Speaker 23 And normally, when they pull pull the offensive line out guess who else coming out the quarterback because the quarterback the starting quarterback is not going to be in there with the twos and threes the starting running back is not going to be in there with the twos and threes so i'm going to be very interesting to see it is the first preseason game and given the way the preseason is done now starters don't normally play

Speaker 23 they don't normally play and they don't play much. So Shadur is going to have to make

Speaker 23 Shadur is going to have to make wine with the water water that he the well water that he's been given he's not been given purified water he's not been given bottled water so he's going to have to make do it what he has the cards that he's dealt on friday night when he enters that game regardless of what's surrounding him he's going to make something happen when he does make something happen when he's able to make something out of nothing.

Speaker 25 And this is no disrespect to the twos and the threes and the fours that are trying to make that team. Everybody out there buying for a job.

Speaker 25 What you put up. For sure.

Speaker 23 But you and I both know, Ocho, they're only about five jobs up for grab. They know, they know with it.
They know within 40 guys, 41 guys, who's going to build that road?

Speaker 25 Listen, they don't know. They don't know yet because what they're planning on and what they're trying to do, whatever it may be,

Speaker 25 when he gets his opportunity, all they got to do is knock the door down. I don't care what you put around me.
I'm going to show you. I'm going to get the job done.
So imagine

Speaker 25 if I can get out there and cut up on Friday with threes and fours and twos at my helm, what you think is going to to happen when I got the ones?

Speaker 25 What you think is going to happen when I got when I got Judy, huh? And Joku and the rest of them boys at my disposal as my weaponry.

Speaker 25 If I can do this with my threes and fours and twos out here in a preseason game,

Speaker 25 all he's done all his life is win, huh?

Speaker 25 That's all he's done. So now you put me in this situation, a little obstacle, a little adversity.
All right,

Speaker 25 I've been here before.

Speaker 25 I got this.

Speaker 25 I've been here before. i got this

Speaker 23 yeah uh i i agree with you oh choke i mean he's never had a a situation like this um

Speaker 23 you don't know what you're gonna overcome until you're faced with it got dogging man with my pen

Speaker 25 oh that's a good one Let me write that down.

Speaker 23 Wait,

Speaker 23 don't go too fast, man. I got to write that down.
I'm going to put that in my note.

Speaker 23 Because, Ocho, here's the thing. See, strength is not what you possess.
Strength is overcoming something that you didn't think you could.

Speaker 23 See, a lot of people thinking, well, I can lift this or I can do that. That is not strength.
Strength is overcoming something you didn't think you could.

Speaker 23 He's never been in this situation before. He's been the best.

Speaker 23 And now

Speaker 23 he's going to have to that strength that his father has instilled him. His father is very biblical.
His father is very into the church. It's into the word.

Speaker 23 All those those words that his father has been preaching to him for a lifetime,

Speaker 23 it will be put to the test.

Speaker 23 See, like when the devil told Joe, yeah, of course, God, he's gonna serve you. You give him everything.
Look at the family, look at the livestock that you have. Look at what you blessed him with.

Speaker 23 Why would he not serve you?

Speaker 23 Remove the hedge, and you'll curse his very maker.

Speaker 23 Shadur has had

Speaker 23 abundance

Speaker 23 of everything.

Speaker 23 He had a dad that had the resources to get him that opportunity to go learn and study under Tom Brady, to get him throwing coaches, and to put him in the best situations.

Speaker 23 Now,

Speaker 23 you can call on that

Speaker 23 to recall what Tom said this, and this guy said that, and do this, do that.

Speaker 23 But at the end of the day, when you fall on your knees,

Speaker 23 now,

Speaker 23 because see, that's what faith is.

Speaker 23 It's believing, even though you can't see it.

Speaker 23 You see,

Speaker 23 man says, show me, and I'll trust you. God says, trust me, and I'll show you.
You see the difference between the two worlds? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 23 Shador is going to have to rely on his faith

Speaker 23 because at this time, that's all he has. And I'm not so sure that he's not the only one that has it because I'm not so sure the people in that building have faith in him.

Speaker 25 You can't, listen, the people in the building, you ain't got to worry about that. You don't have to worry about that.
At the end of the day, if they don't want you. If they don't want you,

Speaker 25 let me put on film. Let me put on film.
This is what you got.

Speaker 25 At the end of the day, regardless of what they do, regardless of where I am on the depth chart, I have a job to do.

Speaker 25 And I'm going to do it to the best of my ability, regardless of what you put out there on the field with me on Friday.

Speaker 25 At the end of the day, it's still football.

Speaker 25 We've been all been playing football since we've been

Speaker 23 cream arrived to the top.

Speaker 25 Man, you just took the words right out of my mouth. You just took the word.

Speaker 23 I was thinking, I was just

Speaker 23 because I, oh, Joe, I've been in Shadura. See, I was Shadur Sanders before Shadur Sanders had a different position.

Speaker 23 I know what it's like. I went to a team that just went to the Super Bowl.
Although they got drugged, they brought every receiver back.

Speaker 23 Mark Jackson, Vance Johnson, Ricky Natille, Michael Young. They only keep in five receivers, and four of the guys that went to the Super Bowl are back.

Speaker 23 They're back. You're going to be out.

Speaker 23 So we got, they bring in four or five other receivers.

Speaker 23 Shannon Sharp's

Speaker 23 a seventh rounder.

Speaker 23 I know that, but I'm supposed to be a camp body.

Speaker 23 But what you expect out of me and what I expect out of me are two different things.

Speaker 23 I don't let you set my agenda. I don't let you set my expectation.
I see you.

Speaker 23 That's how Shadur has to think.

Speaker 23 I know what y'all plan. I know, hey, in life,

Speaker 23 when Ray told Claude, He said, I know you're thinking something. You got something up your sleeve.

Speaker 23 I know you got something brewing. I ain't got nothing, Ray.
I got an ass cutting for your brewing.

Speaker 23 Shadur just needs to be Shador.

Speaker 23 He doesn't have to be any, he doesn't have to be anything else other than that.

Speaker 23 And that's good enough. His best is good enough.
He doesn't have to be extraordinary. This is now the NFL.
It is the league. You remember that movie, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen?

Speaker 23 There are a lot of extraordinary gentlemen in this league.

Speaker 25 but that ain't what he has to beat out and that's that's no disrespect to them let's just let's be realistic yeah they take it how they want to

Speaker 23 i'm just saying

Speaker 23 joe flacco is in year 18 and he's way past his prime

Speaker 23 kenny pickett hey we'll see he's hurt Can't make the club in the tub. Dylan Gabriel, he's hurt.

Speaker 25 I'm telling you what's going to happen. Hey, one thing about it.

Speaker 25 One thing about the football gods. You hear me? One thing about the football gods.
When they know, when they know, especially if it's funny business going on, the way they're moving,

Speaker 25 cream always rash at the top. That's it.
I don't care what you put around me.

Speaker 25 I'm going to make it work. I'm going to make it to do the listen.

Speaker 25 When you go to the casino and they deal you them goddamn cards, you can't control what you dealt.

Speaker 23 Hey, you got to play the hand you deal.

Speaker 25 You got to play it to the best of your ability. That's it.
That's all they got to do. Go out there with just straight, straight confidence.
This is my team. You got to walk it.

Speaker 25 You got to play like it. You got to walk in that stadium like you own it.

Speaker 25 You got to walk. You got to.
Oh, I see the game y'all playing. Okay, bet.
Let me show you something.

Speaker 23 And it's not easy because I don't want people to think that, oh, he, you never, yes, yes,

Speaker 23 there were nights that I would go to bed and I'm asking myself, am I good enough? I mean, I only got three plays and I ain't catch a pass.

Speaker 23 So if I'm a receiver, how am I getting judged

Speaker 25 by everything else?

Speaker 23 To do as a quarterback, he don't get no reps. How is he getting judged?

Speaker 23 Okay, I caught one point. I caught it.
Yeah. I caught it.

Speaker 23 And it's like, man, is it... Man, I had this great career at Glenville.
I had a great career at Savannah State. And now I'm here.
In my mind,

Speaker 23 what person doesn't think that he's better than some of the people that he's going against? It wasn't like

Speaker 23 I wasn't going against

Speaker 23 Hall of Fame receivers. It wasn't Jerry.

Speaker 23 It wasn't Jerry Rice and my brother and Chris Carter and all those guys out there. That was how I was going to have to try to win time from.

Speaker 23 But look. It gave me confidence that John Elway told me I could play in this league.
He thought I had the ability to play.

Speaker 23 It helped me a lot when Mark Jackson

Speaker 23 would legitimately tell me what I needed to do.

Speaker 23 But yeah,

Speaker 23 I'm fighting for a job and we're fighting for a job and a guy told me the wrong route. I didn't know it was the wrong route.
I went in there and ran it. Dan Reed chewed my ass out.

Speaker 23 Hey, asked me what the hell.

Speaker 23 I'm running the route.

Speaker 23 Hey,

Speaker 23 Ocho, I'm swole. I just knew I ran it right.
Oh, you're

Speaker 23 out. Hey, nice move, a nice slap, whoop, arm or rib that try to, you know what I'm saying, oh, I, hey, I hit it right quick.

Speaker 23 Because, you know, back then, you spend too much time dancing in the line of scrimmage, they're going to come up through your face mask. So, hey, blam, chop, I'm over.

Speaker 23 He blowed the whistle up like, damn, I ain't even halfway through my route. Oh, what he blowing the whistle for? Let me get this rock.
Let me do something on it.

Speaker 23 Shadow Shark, what the hell are you doing?

Speaker 23 You know, me old smart,

Speaker 23 I'm thinking to myself, what the hell it looks like I'm doing running this route.

Speaker 23 What you got on such and such? I said, I thought I got.

Speaker 23 Yeah. What can I say? Somebody told me the wrong route.
You supposed to know what the hell you supposed to do anyway.

Speaker 25 That's a

Speaker 23 unknown. That's how to learn.
That's how to learn. Lesson learned.
It's cut throw business, Ocho. And I'm going to get a job.

Speaker 23 And if I can remove you out of the way to make my opportunity to get this job easier, guess what I'm going to do? I am going to remove you.

Speaker 23 Called removing the competition. We know it.
We hear all about

Speaker 23 the drug, what they try to do. Take over somebody's territory.
You try to expand the territory. It doesn't matter how.

Speaker 23 I just need to expand. I need to make sure.

Speaker 23 So he tried to remove me. I've run the wrong route.

Speaker 23 Hey, let me never ask again.

Speaker 23 But you know what? If Mary Porter used to say, God don't like ugly, sometimes he don't like pretty.

Speaker 23 Guess who wasn't the first one to get cut?

Speaker 25 Buddy told you the wrong route.

Speaker 23 Yeah.

Speaker 25 Hey, listen, one thing about it, boy, you can't deny greatness, boy.

Speaker 25 You can't deny greatness.

Speaker 25 You know,

Speaker 25 I stand there, remember.

Speaker 23 It was meant to be. It was meant for people to be.

Speaker 25 When Shadur got drafted, I said

Speaker 25 it's a blessing in disguise. Because

Speaker 25 they've always had an issue at finding the answer at that position. Now, watch they try to play with him.

Speaker 25 I said it was what watched they try to play with him, and he ends up being the answer that they didn't even know they had. Watch.

Speaker 25 I guarantee you. And if I'm wrong, I put my foot in my mouth.

Speaker 23 If I'm wrong, I'll put my foot out. Well, the thing is, he might be the answer, Ocho.
And that was not even the test that they gave him.

Speaker 23 That's the problem that they're up against.

Speaker 25 Wait a minute, man. Man, bring that back one more time.

Speaker 23 That's it. You said he could be the answer.
Yes, he might, he could well be the answer, and that's not the test that they gave him.

Speaker 25 Hey, what are you preaching tonight, Black God?

Speaker 23 What's for you? What's for you? What's for you is for you. Can nobody stop it?

Speaker 23 If it's meant to be, it's meant to be.

Speaker 23 and God is God in good and in bad,

Speaker 23 and we just got it. We just understand that, we accept that,

Speaker 23 but uh, yeah,

Speaker 23 he has a lot going on. Don't think his mind is not, hey, it's popsy.
You know how close he is with his dad, his dad dealing with what he's dealing with. But his dad says, Hey, you have that.

Speaker 23 I got this.

Speaker 23 You have that up there in Cleveland. You let me take care of this down here in Boulder.

Speaker 23 hey

Speaker 25 make the browns great again

Speaker 23 yeah

Speaker 25 yeah mb mbga make the browns great again

Speaker 23 yeah

Speaker 23 you asked an awful lot now

Speaker 23 I mean,

Speaker 23 that's feeding 5,000 with two loaves of bread and fish.

Speaker 23 That's turning ward into a bowl.

Speaker 25 It's possible.

Speaker 23 Yeah, I mean, they put man on the moon, so anything's possible.

Speaker 23 But I mean, now you talk about possibility. There's a difference between possibility and probability.

Speaker 23 All right, OJo,

Speaker 23 joining us right now is a two-time Pro Bowl, Louisiana native, LSU Tiger. He was on that great 2019 national championship team that featured Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase,

Speaker 23 Justin Jefferson, Clyde Edwards-Alaire, the number one offensive line in the country. And it was obviously one of the greatest offensive teams in college history.

Speaker 23 Here he is, the defensive captain on that side of the football, Patrick Queen. BQ, what to do?

Speaker 1 This is Sophie Cunningham from Show Me Something.

Speaker 19 Hydrodinitis suparativa, HS, caused bumps and abscesses that made me feel embarrassed.

Speaker 21 I talked to my dermatologist and started a treatment that works for me, Cosentix. I found relief.

Speaker 22 Cosentix secukinumab is prescribed for adults with moderate to severe hydrodonitis superativa, HS. Don't use if allergic to Cosentix.
Get checked for TB before starting.

Speaker 22 Increased risk of infections and lowered ability to fight them may occur, like TB or other serious bacterial, fungal, or viral infections. Some are fatal.

Speaker 22 Tell your doctor if you have an infection or symptoms, like fevers, sweats, chills, muscle aches, or cough, had a vaccine or planned to, or if IBD symptoms develop or worsen.

Speaker 22 Serious allergic reactions and severe eczema-like skin reactions may occur. Learn more at 1-844-COSENTIX or COSENTIX.com.

Speaker 21 You're stronger than HS. Ask your dermatologist about Cosentix.

Speaker 27 Hello, hello, this is Malcolm Glebel from Smart Talks with IBM. Today we're diving into a fascinating conversation with Stefano Pallard, head of fan development for Scuderia Ferrari HP.

Speaker 28 Your pronunciation is strongly American, it's more Scuderia Ferrari.

Speaker 27 I'm still working on rolling my R's, but what I was able to learn from Stefano was the importance of engaging the Tefosi, the Ferrari super fans in the digital age.

Speaker 28 Ferrari fans and super fans want to be part of something, want to belong to something. So they want to be part of a community and ultimately they want to be part of a winning team.

Speaker 27 You've got Ferrari, which has a long history, designed history. And now you're interacting in a kind of digital space.
I'm curious how you balance those two traditions.

Speaker 28 When it comes to fan engagement, it's really digital technology and digital channels are being able to create a deeper connection with our fans.

Speaker 23 why why are you starting this already bro Why you starting this already, bro? I already got a bone of

Speaker 25 talk to me. Wait a minute.
Let me get comfortable. Let me get comfortable.
Okay, what happened? What happened? Listen, whatever bone you got, I can put the meat back on it.

Speaker 25 But just tell me what you need. I got you.

Speaker 23 We're going to pause.

Speaker 23 Pause, my bad.

Speaker 25 My bad. My bad.
Go ahead.

Speaker 23 Oh.

Speaker 25 Oh,

Speaker 25 God.

Speaker 23 Come on, bro. Come on, bro.

Speaker 25 Where I got you at? Where'd I got you at?

Speaker 23 82, bro. Come on.

Speaker 25 I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what.
You know what? My word is always good. My word is bond.
Tell me what you want.

Speaker 25 I go in the system internally and I change it. And I guarantee you before week one, you're ready to be where you want it at.

Speaker 23 I need to be a little bit faster because I ain't that slow.

Speaker 23 I just need a high overall, whatever you got to do to make the overall high. Okay.
You feel me?

Speaker 25 That's it? That's it. Oh, say less.

Speaker 23 Say less.

Speaker 25 Say less. But I need you to do me one favor.

Speaker 25 Now, I'm going to do all the changes that you want. I'm going to make the necessary changes.
I need you week one. Who y'all play week one?

Speaker 25 Okay, y'all played just week one. I need you to pop out on film.

Speaker 25 I need you to pop out on film week one so when we go to make those adjustments after week one i can stand on the table and look boom we need to change young bull because look at this look at this i i got to have something to go off of when i'm in the meeting rooms well them people don't play boy

Speaker 23 but i already know

Speaker 25 okay so yes all right we good that's problems problem solved

Speaker 23 hold on

Speaker 23 Is it true that you were in the pro-am, you did the Bass Masters pro-am? Yeah. You a fisherman.
You a bass fisherman. Hell yeah.
That's all I do.

Speaker 23 When I go home, bro, all season, I'll just fish the whole time. Fish workout, that's it.

Speaker 23 Bass fishing or any type fishing? Just bass, man. Bass fishing, yeah.
If my buddies go to the water, I'll go, but

Speaker 23 I ain't really. So you did your jig, crank, jellies.

Speaker 23 My go-to, drop shot, crankbait, jerky bait. Time stuff like that, Nico.

Speaker 25 What y'all doing? Okay.

Speaker 23 So let me ask you.

Speaker 23 So when you was growing up, I growing up, had Bill Dance, had Roland Martin.

Speaker 23 I know who Kevin Van Dam is. I know who Mike Akinelli is.
I know who Ish Smith is. I know all of these guys.
I watch them on Saturday morning when they used to come on.

Speaker 23 And I understand, you know, A, they throwing the jig and they throwing the jellies and they, hey, they backing up against the tides over there trying to catch them.

Speaker 23 So how did you get into bass fishing? It was COVID year when I was coming out of LSU and he had nothing else to do. Okay.
Locked down.

Speaker 23 I had pulled my hamstring at the combine, so I couldn't even go to PT or nothing to get my stuff worked on. So my brother was like, let's go fishing.

Speaker 23 And neither of us had a boat. So I had some money.
We went get the boat and started bass fishing. Man hooked ever since.

Speaker 23 Man.

Speaker 23 So does the message do? Do you do any shore fishing? Nah, nah, that ain't my.

Speaker 23 So it's all, so it's, I got out of scope. So you're going out?

Speaker 23 Yeah, I got out of scope. I'm cheating the whole thing.
I need everything. I need all that.

Speaker 23 So you got the, you got the bass finder. You got all that.
So you got all that in your boat? So what you, what you riding with? Every rude Johnson, what kind of hot board are you using?

Speaker 23 I got a Falcon Bolt, but I use MBT screens. So I got the MBT

Speaker 23 22 inch, 24 inch. One of that.
One of the

Speaker 23 I had Low Rance on the front bow for like my marketing and stuff. I took that off.
So I just run a Roman bird with the 360 and the last scope.

Speaker 23 So I understand you got big. So now I'm talking about the motors you're using.
Johnson, Every Rude. Mercury.
Oh, okay. Mercury, okay.
But let me ask you a question. But

Speaker 23 you also got

Speaker 23 a troller. So to get you closer in there, because that's too much power.
You run ashore. So you got a trolling motor to get you you in the little tight spots, right? A garment.
Yep. Oh, okay.

Speaker 25 I ain't never had no boat. I ain't never had no rods, you know, on you, but I spit fish.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, queen, I spit fish. So I go to the Bahamas, right?

Speaker 25 I go to the Bahamas over in Siesta Key. It's a little park where they go and I free dive and I spearfish like that.
So it's just me, spear,

Speaker 25 little arrow, get the bow and arrow. You know, I shoot arrows too.
And I spit fish. I don't know how long you can hold your breath underwater, but you know,

Speaker 25 they used to call me baby aquatic when I was younger. So I don't know about fishing from boats and all that engine stuff y'all talking about.

Speaker 25 But if you want to go spit fishing with me, if you can free that, if you could swim, man, holla at your boy in the offseason. Yeah.

Speaker 25 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 23 So let me ask you,

Speaker 23 you are,

Speaker 23 you catch a release or do you, I mean, what's the biggest fish you got on the wall? My biggest is 8-9.

Speaker 23 I'm still trying to correct that double digits, but. yeah, hey, they're hard.
It's hard, right?

Speaker 23 But I've been a little conflicted catching a fish that size and like taking them out of the water, like, man, this joker.

Speaker 23 That's a female fish. And that's normally a female fish.
And I feel bad because I'm like, damn, you've been here so long.

Speaker 23 And it takes you out just to put your ass on my wall because you're not going to eat it. Back in the day when we were growing up, you caught a fish that big.
It hadn't went high grease.

Speaker 23 Now, you know,

Speaker 23 that's what they call trophy fish. And so I kind of feel bad, but I agree with you.
I mean, to try to get something double-digit

Speaker 23 and closer to the 12, 13, 14,

Speaker 23 that's a nice fight.

Speaker 23 But I would say the same thing. If I were to hook something and

Speaker 23 I can bring him in, oh, he got to go on the wall. I got to, I got to.

Speaker 25 Hey, hey,

Speaker 25 y'all talking about fishing. You know, I caught a Goliath Grouper down here in Miami one time

Speaker 25 out there in the keys, out there in the key. And Goliath Grouper, I ain't had no rod, just none but hands.

Speaker 23 Yeah, first of all, you ain't gonna.

Speaker 23 Hey, we are, we already know, we already know that's a fish.

Speaker 25 I tell you, I was spearfishing. I'm telling you, so I mean, I had, I listen, come on, man, don't do me like that now.

Speaker 23 Goliath grouper ain't no fish that you spearfish

Speaker 23 or something like that. That's how I got it.

Speaker 23 I hit him in the left fiend.

Speaker 25 When you hit him in the left field, and he can only go sideways. So

Speaker 25 it made it easy to catch

Speaker 25 you normally

Speaker 25 flying or you need a bottom fish that's not a bottom man it was a goli group he's about he's about he's about 300 380 pounds i put him

Speaker 23 i know how big a live group is get but that but if you need to go look up what their original name they changed the name that wasn't their goliath grouper that wasn't their original name people do your homework and go look i'm not gonna say it but go do your homework and see what the fish original name was and they changed it i'm gonna say it like that but we're gonna get we're not gonna gonna get too far off topic.

Speaker 23 Let me ask you this:

Speaker 23 you understand both sides of this rivalry, the Ravens and the Steelers.

Speaker 23 Give us the biggest difference between John Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin. Man, you know, it's crazy.
Um,

Speaker 23 I think players can relate to Mike T a little bit better. Um,

Speaker 23 but I think both of them got excellent strategies.

Speaker 23 They've got two different strategies when they go into the games, and I don't want to get into the whole details about it because I know they got their stuff about the whole public knowing about that stuff so i ain't gonna get into that but i could say the similarities are there they're very similar i mean they both obviously hard nosed football teams um the practices are intense on both sides um they both are well known for like going into deep details about when you're going into battle and stuff and you know about that and i think it's just the biggest thing is just it's always gonna come down to that last possession whoever got it um and what that's getting a stop or trying to go score um and it's like that every single time we played besides the last two games that we had against them, where everything was falling apart for us defensively, which we can't happen after that happened this year.

Speaker 23 It's just two well-known organizations that's hard-nosed football that love football.

Speaker 23 Just true X's and O's, not going to be a whole lot of trick stuff going on. It's just hard-nosed football.

Speaker 25 Hey, listen, from all the reports I've heard so far,

Speaker 25 especially coming out of camp, the defense is dominating, deep, dominating the offense.

Speaker 25 Obviously, I expected that obviously with the acquisitions that you guys have made and my thought is looking at it on paper, I think personally, based on what you guys have, I see

Speaker 25 a Ravens, I mean, Ravens, a Steelers defense that has a chance to look like the Steelers defense of old in the early 2000s. Obviously, when you look at it from a standpoint of

Speaker 25 where's the weak link, where's the weakness on the defense? Up front, you're tight. At the lineback position, you're tight.

Speaker 25 In the goddamn secondary, obviously, everybody's resume speaks for itself that came to play with you guys, Slay, Ramsey. So for you guys, what is your goal? Because right now,

Speaker 25 as a team, your identity is now the defense from now on. So I just want to know,

Speaker 25 what is your goal this year for you guys?

Speaker 23 I think it's to start faster than we did and to be able to continue to be a better defense as the season goes along and not regress.

Speaker 23 I think last year, look, we lost the last, what, six games or whatever it was, and we just steadily declined the whole, every single game is like, we just got worse and worse and worse. So

Speaker 23 I've been talking to this, with the reporters and stuff. Like this year is so much more detail going into the defensive playbook.
It's a lot of new stuff going into the defensive playbook.

Speaker 23 It's just us being able to start right now with the basic fundamentals and building off of that right now every single day, not taking our time and, oh, we'll get to that later.

Speaker 23 Everything is detailed now. So that way we get into the season.
We can just game plan. We don't have to switch up what we do.
We don't have to go.

Speaker 23 um try to create something new we can just go out there and do what we do and do it at a high level um i think that's the biggest thing right now we're just trying to focus on being better than we were last year, starting game one.

Speaker 25 One more question before you go.

Speaker 23 You got big money.

Speaker 25 Wait, no, because I'm kind of nosy. I'm kind of nosy, right? Listen, we've seen Aaron Rodgers.
We've seen some of the things he's done, the retreats, you know, some of the things he says.

Speaker 25 He's been crazy in the past, not really being locked in. How has he been as a teammate? Is he locked in with great understanding on how important

Speaker 25 him being

Speaker 25 somewhat of a version of his old self for you guys to be successful?

Speaker 25 Has it been dope having him as a teammate so far?

Speaker 23 Yeah, he's a hella cool dude. I mean, one day, the rain, the first day that we got rained out, walk under the 10, we just got to talking about stuff.

Speaker 23 And then he asked me, like, what's my favorite ammo and stuff like that? And we got on topic of sharks and stuff. We had a whole conversation about sharks and stuff.
So he's a cool dude, man.

Speaker 23 But as a teammate, getting to see him, how he approached the game and stuff is just different.

Speaker 23 Like, you know, the whole thing at Purdue, they want everybody on the sidelines, but I go stand behind the offense to see how it looks from that view. And he'll be right there.

Speaker 23 And I could hear him going through like in his head, like, saying, okay, i'll check this i'm looking at this i'm looking at this like he's saying this out loud as he as the other guys taking the snaps so just seeing how he approaches the game man he's in it on every single play even when he's not in and it's just something cool to see somebody that does that too

Speaker 25 that's dope

Speaker 23 you got big money to leave the ravens i mean yes leave the ravens and go to the steelers you didn't have the season that you wanted to have your in pittsburgh were you nick what what transpired that we didn't get an opportunity to see the patrick queen that we had saw so many years with the Ravens?

Speaker 23 Yeah, it's just a new environment, trying to get a feel for everything, how the team plays.

Speaker 23 And it's so hard to do that coming in from in that offseason and just trying to build that chemistry up there right now and trying to get an understanding of the defense and stuff.

Speaker 23 It's so hard to do that in one season. But that's why they paid me to do it.
And so this year, it can't be no excuse. Like, I go out there and do what I got to do, do what they paid me to do.

Speaker 23 And just go out there and be myself. I think.

Speaker 23 Like my T called me before Kemp started, called me while I was getting on the plane. It was like, it's go time.
Like it's no more getting used to everybody.

Speaker 23 It's no more of the whole friendly transition. Like, it's go time.
It's no more playing around. So, um, right there, I was excited right there.

Speaker 23 So, um, it's just a point of me going out there and being who I am, getting the ball, getting the turnovers, um, running the defense, doing the good things that they paid me to do.

Speaker 23 Um, I think the biggest thing is just that whole transition, that whole switch from being playing with the same guys for four years to going to a new defense and trying to play with those guys.

Speaker 23 It was just a huge difference.

Speaker 23 The last Steelers playoff win happened in 2017.

Speaker 23 What was been What has been Mike T's message? Because every year, I mean, like you said, you guys started fast and then you tail spin and you went to playoffs and you tail spin even more.

Speaker 23 So what has been his message this year to make sure that we don't get repeat seasons of the previous years? Yeah, everything that we're doing starts right now.

Speaker 23 That's why I was saying like the whole...

Speaker 23 detail of the defense is so much better than it was last year from top to bottom.

Speaker 23 And I think that's the biggest thing is, like I said, we was trying to reinvent stuff going into a few games at the end of the season last year.

Speaker 23 And his whole message to the team right now is just start right now. Start right now.
Be great right now. Every single day, every single rep,

Speaker 23 do it at your best. Get whatever you're good at, be great at.
And whatever you're great at, excel at it and keep going and keep pushing. And he got all the sands and stuff and stuff.

Speaker 23 There's so many sayings I'll be forgetting them, bro.

Speaker 23 Matter of fact, Mike, he got them.

Speaker 23 I would love to play for him. Yeah, it's dope, though, because you're going to team meeting something new every single day.
Like, it's not the same message over and over and over.

Speaker 23 It's always something new. And he focuses on different people every single day.
It's not always the same position group. He's not always the same person.

Speaker 23 Like, he highlights different things every day that will transpire in the season. And you kind of seen that from camp last year.

Speaker 23 And going into the season, you'll see things that he talked about in camp happening in the season and stuff that we try to avoid. So

Speaker 23 he knows what's going to happen. And like, he tried to prepare us for it.
So it's our job to go out there and do it. Y'all go to.

Speaker 23 You guys, it's your job. It's on you guys.
You look at what you got defensively. You look at TJ and you look at Cam Hayward.
You look at yourself. You got Jay Rand.

Speaker 23 And now you got Slade. And now you got Jory Porter Jr.
on the other side. Y'all got no excuses because y'all layered

Speaker 23 at three levels, front, middle, and the back. Y'all got to be a top five defense.
Y'all need to, y'all look, I understand Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers is what he is.

Speaker 23 You got DK. You got Calvin Austin the third.
You have some nice offensive players, but you know y'all bread is buttered on the defensive side of the football, Cube. Yep, and that's our job, right?

Speaker 23 If we could create turnovers and just, even if we not create turnovers, don't let them score. Don't let them score seven.
If they drop the ball, three, seven for three, cool.

Speaker 23 Like, if they could beat us the whole game, kick and field goals, that's what it's going to have to be.

Speaker 23 But at the end of the day, like, he's just said, it's no excuse, like, with the guys that we got.

Speaker 23 If we could get Aaron the ball back three times, four times a game, two turnovers, whatever, stop here and there. I think we'll have a very successful season.
I don't think

Speaker 23 people understand like Aaron could still be Aaron. Like, we still got it.
If we can protect him and we go out there and do what we do on defense, we gotta, we got a good chance.

Speaker 25 Absolutely. Listen, I said that to start the show off.
Obviously, you guys are going to be really good. I think defensively, you guys will be able to do more.

Speaker 25 Obviously, when you have that kind of talent, that kind of elite skill at certain position, it opens up the defense and allows the defensive coordinator to be able to do other things to confuse offenses, to confuse um

Speaker 25 quarterbacks that they're playing against. So, I'm excited to see y'all play, except when y'all play the Bengals

Speaker 25 outside.

Speaker 25 I'm not going to talk the trash. I'm here to respect the Steelers.
You know, I'm here to respect the Steelers fans. Love me.
I love them.

Speaker 25 But I'm excited to watch y'all this year, obviously, to see what Aaron, Aaron is going to do. But

Speaker 25 with it being said, funny thing is, is I'm a defensive guy. I love defensive play.
I have

Speaker 25 a huge enthusiast behind the artwork in which I feel is the most difficult position there is. So I'm looking forward to watching Slay and Joey and Jalen and how that works.
You probably can't tell me.

Speaker 25 I'm just curious. And Jalen will be at corner.
I know I know Porter's on one side. Is Slay has it going to know? You can't say

Speaker 23 they're going to be everywhere. I mean, Ram's going to be everywhere.
Slay gonna be locked down. Joey gonna be locked down.
They'll be who they are. Rams going to be everywhere.
He might be outside.

Speaker 23 He might be at niggas, might be at safety. He might be coming to that linebacker.
Like, he's gonna be everywhere. We got a lot of stuff that we're doing.
Um, it's gonna be some new looks on defense.

Speaker 23 There's some new looks. I know people be saying that still got the the same old defense that they always do and this and that.

Speaker 25 So it's going to be a new look. I could imagine.
I could imagine.

Speaker 23 What's it been like to face DK every single day you see somebody six foot four, his size, his ability, the speed, the athleticism? What has it been like practicing against that guy every single day?

Speaker 23 It's eye-opening when you just see somebody that's 6'4'6'5 ⁇ ,

Speaker 23 however tall he is and 225 pounds, be able to run like that.

Speaker 23 do the things that he do it's just crazy that you could be that athletic at that that size so um but when he catches a slant and he freaking put his foot in the ground and turned the corner and he was running 50 yards downfield me and payton sitting there trying to walk him down and stuff and he's sitting there laughing while you're running and stuff we laughing with him and stuff it's just it's crazy brother like when you get to play with somebody great like that um obviously i played played against him when i was in baltimore and he was at seattle and he caught a dig and like started hot chilling downfield and stuff but it's just when you get around around great players bro you just focus that much more on defense like trying to do your job trying to make sure they don't get the ball trying to make sure if they do get the ball that is not an exposive play i mean when you pair that with aaron and aaron doing the no look passes and all that stuff it just detail you that much more

Speaker 25 that's lab just just imagine you you lucky just imagine if you had to play against me in my area though you know i would i was six for 220 20 227 back then hey i i would have probably i would have probably ran your ass over though bro i'm just you i'm just thinking about it i'm just thinking about it you know no disrespect i'm just telling you i would i i'm the type to catch a slant and instead of cutting up field i'm gonna run right into you boy

Speaker 23 if you if you would have played against me you would be wearing them type of shares right now i can guarantee you that oh

Speaker 25 oh pat what yeah you all you out hey man listen man hey you still young put them pads on come see about that tell tom to bring me in i get his work

Speaker 25 extra camp body i don't even i don't even need the contract hey

Speaker 23 hey they got a whole new i know you ain't had a trainer room like we got now but they got all kind of stuff that you got you can go up there and get your house I don't never go in the training room.

Speaker 23 I play.

Speaker 25 I've never been in a trainer. Why?

Speaker 23 You're going to have to.

Speaker 25 And y'all still do hamburger drills?

Speaker 23 What is a hamburger drill?

Speaker 25 But you don't know what Oklahoma drills? You know what hamburger drills is?

Speaker 23 Bran, we call it Oklahoma Drill. I'm from down south.
I ain't know.

Speaker 25 Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 25 I used to do, I used to do a hamburger drill with the linebackers, though, when I was playing. That's how I know that's.

Speaker 23 And what you used to do.

Speaker 25 No, no, no, no, no. Just head up.
Head up. I'm on that.
I'm on whatever you want.

Speaker 23 I don't buy that, bro.

Speaker 25 I need to film it. I'll send it to you right now.
I'll send it to you right now.

Speaker 23 They ain't about that bull in the ring.

Speaker 23 Bull in the ring.

Speaker 23 When you sit in there, I'm sitting in the middle of the circle.

Speaker 23 Come on, bro. Y'all acting like

Speaker 23 I wasn't born in the 90s.

Speaker 23 Yes. Yeah.

Speaker 23 Yeah. They might not do it anymore, but I know we did it.

Speaker 23 Queen, let me ask you this. What does your diet consist consist of?

Speaker 23 Man, honestly, bro, this is the first year that I'm actually like focused on what I'm eating. Like, I'm trying to stay away from the fried foods this whole offseason.

Speaker 23 Like, I remember the first day I got back, my mom brought me like fried chicken. I said, look, you got one week after this week.
I'm not eating no more fried food. Don't bring me no fried food.

Speaker 23 I want baked food this whole time. So right now, basically, I just, I probably don't eat my first meal until around like 11, 11.30.

Speaker 23 Okay, so you're intermittent fasting right now. Yep.
Yep. So I eat my first meal around that time.

Speaker 23 Then my next meal will probably be 30 um seven o'clock whatever time that uh whatever i eat then so damn how many calories are you taking in you only eating you only eating two meals a day only two meals but i when i eat them two meals i eat like i ain't i yeah i'm saying yeah bro bro you gotta be out there like that bro you gotta be putting 5 000 6 000 calories because you burning it off now yeah but y'all don't practice y'all not out there two a day's because the second part is like meetings or something no so we we had a walkthrough in the morning it might be a little bit of running around in that walkthrough nothing crazy and then okay the second part is you get it in like i

Speaker 23 two o'clock. Yeah.
So. Okay.
I got to go. Go ahead, don't you?

Speaker 25 No, do me if it don't hurt my feelings, man. Now, you say you eat two times a day.
What type of food you eat?

Speaker 25 You know, one of the best linebackers in the game, you know, Patrick Queen, LSU. Like, I mean, tell me, don't, hold on, let me take, let me take some shades off, man.
What kind of food you eating?

Speaker 23 So at lunch, I'll probably get a smoothie.

Speaker 23 Depending on what I'm feeling, like, some days I'm going to try to be home. Some days I might sneak in a burger.

Speaker 23 I might sneak in a burger here and there. I know what you, I know what you're awake now, so I might sneak one in, but I try to not eat too much.
So I'll probably eat something.

Speaker 23 I know that can fill me up. So I'll probably get like two slices a piece of something that can fill me up.

Speaker 23 That way I'll go to practice and I'm not feeling heavy, but I still got a good source of energy. And then after that dinner time, I'll probably eat something healthier.

Speaker 23 I'll probably grab something baked or something.

Speaker 25 like nothing crazy okay see i like see i like what you just said you see the balance you see the balance onk you heard him there's a balance you know i'm healthy all right

Speaker 25 I'm going to get my other stuff over here. I'm going to combine it together.
And that's why he never going to get hurt. Huh? He ain't never going to get hurt.

Speaker 25 Because if you eat like a rabbit, I'm telling you, your body won't fall apart.

Speaker 23 What? Oh, Joe. If people could do things in moderation, we wouldn't have a problem.

Speaker 25 He got it figured out.

Speaker 23 Exactly. That's the thing.
Moderation. Yeah, people can say, oh, yeah, oh, it's okay to have pizza.
It's okay to, but the problem is you eat the whole pizza. Right.

Speaker 23 And not a slice, not two slice, you eat the whole pizza. Okay, it's okay to have a nice cream, but not a whole quart.

Speaker 23 So that's the difference. AP, congratulations, man, on all the success, bro.
Get it, go. Hey, you know who you are.
Be who you are. Be that person that say, you know what?

Speaker 23 This is the guy we want to man in the middle of our defense. Be that guy.
You know how to be that guy better than anybody else.

Speaker 23 Now just go do it.

Speaker 23 Thank you for coming on tonight with Nightcap. Give us a little bit of your time.
We greatly appreciate that. Stay healthy.
Hold on, hold on.

Speaker 25 Do me a favor. Tell Jalen Ramsey and Darius Slay and Joey Porter, they couldn't do nothing with me right now.
And tell TJ White, I beat his ass.

Speaker 23 Bro, I know you got money. Get your PJ.
I know you don't like the whole PJs.

Speaker 25 No, no, no. Just related message for me.

Speaker 25 I'm going to see this related message for me.

Speaker 23 That's a bad thing.

Speaker 23 We're going to give you some pub with this. Oh, look, you open an official and tackle shop called All Pro Fishing and Tackle, located in Rose, Louisiana.
Tell us about that.

Speaker 23 Yeah, um so it was like i did me and my mom was on the phone one day i was just talking about like i always got to order something or go to bass scroll that's away from the house um and everybody that's local got the same problem so uh she just kind of hinted at like you should open up your own store and you got to talking about it and i just thought it was just a talk and one day she was like hey i bought this store for you uh for you to start your fishing store and this and that and i was like you serious and she was like yeah so they started right there and ever since it's been rolling been doing great the business has been great um i started adding some hunting stuff in there uh because we do that down there too?

Speaker 23 So,

Speaker 23 right.

Speaker 25 You be hunting?

Speaker 25 Oh, boy, that's black brother, my alley, boy.

Speaker 23 Y'all gotta come take a trip down south of Louisiana, man. Get y'all right.
Hey, Peak,

Speaker 23 don't listen. This man ain't hi.

Speaker 25 We got raccoons and squirrels in Miami. What you talking about?

Speaker 23 I be running. You ain't hunting them.
Okay, oh, yo, okay, oh, yo, what, what, what, you, what you, what, what copy?

Speaker 25 No, I can go slingshot for the squirrels.

Speaker 23 Like I was saying,

Speaker 23 you you have you have lot so you have you have live you have live so you have live uh bait right shiners and things like that correct so i knew the only thing i didn't put in there for fishing is shiners and stuff because

Speaker 23 the whole pro the whole thing is like we open up probably around six o'clock people gonna be going fishing way earlier than that then they don't live that long oh yeah they're gonna be going they're gonna hey no them boats gonna be in the water about five o'clock yeah and the minnows don't live that long then it's a constant battle and try to get more in and keep them alive so it's just really like it's no point

Speaker 23 so but you but you have like you have jump you have loose uh louisiana pinks red wigglers night crawlers things like that all that stuff everything okay okay everything but shauna okay like okay

Speaker 23 you you done those you got anything else you want to add

Speaker 25 boy hey listen um all love have a hell of a season boy have a hell of a season man telling boys i said good luck and i'm gonna see y'all boy i'm gonna see y'all boys twice twice and you you know who y'all gonna be playing i'm gonna see you

Speaker 23 all love Can't wait.

Speaker 23 For sure. Appreciate y'all, boys, for having me, too.
Appreciate you, man. Thanks for stopping by.

Speaker 23 Hey, when you, hey, when y'all have that great season, you have that Pro Bowl, all-pro season, come back and join us again. We'll do.
We'll do. Appreciate that, man.
All the best. Appreciate y'all.

Speaker 23 Same thing.

Speaker 23 Hey, that was dope.

Speaker 23 You know, damn well. You ain't never been no damn hood.
Hold on.

Speaker 25 Well, time out, time out, time out. Let me say something real quick.
Let me say something real quick.

Speaker 5 Do you know the symptoms of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea or OSA in adults with obesity?

Speaker 6 They may be happening to you without you knowing.

Speaker 22 Cosentix secukenumab is prescribed for adults with moderate to severe hydrodonitis superativa, HS. Don't use if allergic to Cosentix.
Get checked for TB before starting.

Speaker 22 Increased risk of infections and lowered ability to fight them may occur, like TB or other serious bacterial, fungal, or viral infections. Some were fatal.

Speaker 27 Hello, hello. This is Malcolm Glabel from Smart Talks with IBM.
Today we're diving into a fascinating conversation with Stefano Pallard, head of fan development for Scuderia Ferrari HP.

Speaker 28 Your pronunciation is strongly American. It's more Scuderia Ferrari.

Speaker 27 I'm still working on rolling my Rs, but what I was able to learn from Stefano was the importance of engaging the Tefosi, the Ferrari super fans in the digital age.

Speaker 28 Ferrari fans and super fans want to be part of something, want to belong to something. So they want to be part of a community and ultimately they want to be part of a winning team.

Speaker 27 You've got Ferrari, which has a long history, design history. And now you're interacting in a kind of digital space.
I'm curious how you balance those two traditions.

Speaker 28 When it comes to fan engagement, it's really digital technology and digital channels are being able to create a deeper connection with our fans.

Speaker 25 I live in Miami. I live in Miami, Florida, right? Liberty City.

Speaker 25 Out here, we got canals, right, Uncle? Opalaca.

Speaker 23 No, Opa Choles.

Speaker 25 we got canals, yeah, we got iguanas,

Speaker 25 they get too big, you gotta hunt them, you gotta, you gotta remove them. We got raccoon.

Speaker 23 I just asked you a question: what type of gun have you ever a sig, a sig with a switch?

Speaker 23 What?

Speaker 25 Nine millimeter,

Speaker 23 a sig. What? What's what's going on the end of sig?

Speaker 25 What you mean? We're going to the end of it.

Speaker 23 A sigma.

Speaker 25 I think 826

Speaker 23 chat, y'all.

Speaker 23 Man, that'll be harder.

Speaker 23 I mean, first of all, if you're gonna shoot it, if you're gonna shoot those

Speaker 23 liver, you said the canal.

Speaker 25 I don't shoot him to kill him, I just want to get him for around for messing up my rose bed. You know, I, you know, I got plenty, I got a rose bed outside with flowers and stuff.

Speaker 25 He wanted to be trying to eat my flowers.

Speaker 23 Hey, you got raccoons where you from?

Speaker 25 Okay, the raccoons here in Miami, they different. Like, they stand, they stand up, but

Speaker 23 oh, Joe, you trying to difference?

Speaker 25 I hard run, they stand up.

Speaker 23 I'm like, Yeah,

Speaker 23 but but when we were growing up, you didn't want the hide

Speaker 23 was valuable. So, you shot the raccoon with a 22 because you didn't want to mess the hide up.

Speaker 23 So, that's what what i'm saying i'm now obviously if you shooting you know uh a bird you shooting quail or something like that dove you need you need bird shot you shooting a deer okay you might you know hey you might use a slug or something like that or a 30 30 or a high power rifle something that goes for distance but i know you ain't shooting nothing like that

Speaker 25 we do everything in close proximity we don't do nothing from a distance we you got you got to you got to get up on them you got to get up on them you know especially the raccoons the raccoons here don't play huh they don't play i'm telling you they don't play they different

Speaker 25 yeah yeah okay

Speaker 23 i just know i'm not going hunting with you because you don't even know how to carry you don't even know how to handle a long rifle so i'm not going hunting with you i'd be sniping i'd be um told hold on i'd be sniping on i'd be sniping on

Speaker 23 let me ask you a question question. How do you hold it? So if you're not getting ready to shoot it, so how do you hold it?

Speaker 25 Barrel, always point down, huh? Always point down.

Speaker 23 Oh, Lord, that murder. This man here,

Speaker 23 I'm not going hunting or fishing with you.

Speaker 25 No,

Speaker 25 that's how you hold it.

Speaker 23 You hold it down, always.

Speaker 25 And you raise it.

Speaker 23 Yeah, yeah. Hey, hey, chat, don't y'all go humble on your baby to shot y'all in the back.

Speaker 25 Hey, no friendly fire, Bill.

Speaker 23 And then he's gonna have it. Then he's gonna have it like he's in the military across his shoulder like he barching.

Speaker 25 How you carry yours? I carry mine across the chest with the with the

Speaker 25 point down.

Speaker 23 Cross it.

Speaker 23 You hear me?

Speaker 23 Don't worry about it, Ocho. Yeah.
Ocho, you have to realize when you

Speaker 23 tigers, I see you. When you carry the long rifle, Ocho, you got to be able to get in a position

Speaker 23 quickly.

Speaker 25 I just showed you.

Speaker 23 That was the right position. yo.

Speaker 23 Ash laughing, ass laughing so hard.

Speaker 23 First of all, I grew up in the country. I grew up in Halley Gunner.

Speaker 23 Can you tell I just got a bunch of people?

Speaker 25 You got the strap on your sniper.

Speaker 25 You got the strap, right?

Speaker 23 No, no, no.

Speaker 23 I didn't have a strap on the strap.

Speaker 25 Well, how are you going to get in a position when you're walking?

Speaker 23 What you mean, how I'm going to get in a position? I mean, you can't, oh Joe, I'm not, look, oh, Joe, I'm not traveling no great distance we're going okay maybe we're going to go a mile or two

Speaker 23 but just

Speaker 23 it all depends on how many people right what are we hunting are we hunting birds are we hurting quail are we hurting dove okay are we shoot are we shooting at are we is it deer is it hog are we shooting a squirrel are we shooting raccoons you i mean it depends on the type of gun we're going to carry right and what we're shooting well i got i listen i got i don't like to hold mine because it's heavy so i have the strap and I always carry it on my breastplate pointing down just in case it comes.

Speaker 25 Not that it would go off or anything like that.

Speaker 23 I'm professional.

Speaker 25 You just said, you just said it's always in position. I can come up right away.

Speaker 23 No, to be it, you need to be at a moment's notice. You need to be able to do this.
I'm ready.

Speaker 23 Yeah. Yeah.
Look.

Speaker 23 Sometimes people have it like this. Cross your arm like this walk.
Yeah.

Speaker 25 Yeah.

Speaker 23 First of all, why am I explaining to somebody that's never going hunting? I think, listen, we can go hunting. We can go hunting.
What you mean? No, no, no, no. I'm not going hunting with nobody.

Speaker 25 Oh, matter of fact, can I say something?

Speaker 23 Oh, Joe, you've never even...

Speaker 23 Oh, Joe. You've never even loaded a gun.

Speaker 23 Yes, you can.

Speaker 25 I really think that's a gym. That's the gym.

Speaker 25 Me and you hunting. Listen,

Speaker 25 I got a streaming backpack. I got the TVU backpack, right? Remember I asked you about what can I film? What type of content can I film? Boom, bingo.
There's a show right there, me and you hunting.

Speaker 25 What do we talk about? Me and you hunting.

Speaker 25 You teach me the rules.

Speaker 23 Oh, Joe, you let that show. Oh, Joe.
But you're the point of the show.

Speaker 25 That's what's going to make it so interesting.

Speaker 23 First of all,

Speaker 23 we got to have a guide. We got to have somebody

Speaker 23 that's going to help us. This is going to spot him.

Speaker 25 I got a spot.

Speaker 23 I got to spot spot him.

Speaker 25 I got to spot him. My homeboy.
My homeboy. He used to be.

Speaker 23 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We got to have a professional.

Speaker 25 Oh, but hey,

Speaker 25 I got so many good ideas, man. We could do some dope stuff, man.

Speaker 25 We could be better than Mr. Beast.

Speaker 23 Hey, look,

Speaker 23 I'm all about,

Speaker 23 look.

Speaker 23 Doing all the things that we did growing up, you know, like I said, fishing. You know, we did, we didn't really, I mean, my grandfather would get in the boat occasionally.

Speaker 23 I don't know why he got in the boat because he couldn't swim. But anyway, that's another story we talked before.
We'll talk about that for another day. We'll talk about that another day.

Speaker 23 But I look, I've been in the boat, I've been deep sea fishing. Mainly,

Speaker 23 we short fished. You know, we fish from the bank, the bridge, or whatever the case may be.
So

Speaker 23 I'm very proficient at being able to fish. Obviously, we grew up hunting and handling guns.
You know, all the guns in our house was loaded.

Speaker 23 My grandfather let us know very early on that ain't nothing to play with. You know, death is real.

Speaker 23 So that ain't, you don't, you don't, you don't play, you don't play with that. And we didn't play with those guns.
And so, but you know what?

Speaker 23 We'll look into that. That's something, you know.

Speaker 25 Hey,

Speaker 25 I got to put this streaming pack to use.

Speaker 25 But you do realize you got to talk softly when you're in the woods. Because animals can hear very, very well.

Speaker 25 I'm telling you, I'm telling you, you can go hunt deer. with

Speaker 23 you talking too loud

Speaker 23 didn't i just didn't i just tell you you how you needed to talk i got you

Speaker 25 and we can use walkie talkie okay

Speaker 25 no you just gotta use it obviously you'd be mic'd up and you'd have an earpiece in your ear so you could hear we could also hear hey you know

Speaker 25 you know we do too out there so So the the the animals can't, we pour, you pour urine all over your outfit. So you smell like deer and and it attracts the deer to you.

Speaker 25 So they think it's like mating season, they think you're a female. So it allows us to get a career.

Speaker 23 Yes,

Speaker 23 there is something they call dope. Oh, yes, absolutely.

Speaker 23 Yes. Yeah.

Speaker 23 No, I ain't doing all that now. I'm good.
I'm ready. And plus,

Speaker 23 you want to have to be as natural as you possibly can. Obviously, you can't put on cologne and go out there.

Speaker 23 You know, you go out there and try to put on cologne, try to go out there with some tall Ford,

Speaker 23 and they'll be like,

Speaker 23 Sam, you smell that?

Speaker 23 Oh, man.

Speaker 25 Oh, that's a good one. That's funny.

Speaker 23 No, it's,

Speaker 23 nah, man.

Speaker 23 Honey thing just ain't my thing, Ojo, man. It's just

Speaker 23 you do it. I mean,

Speaker 23 I'm more of a fisherman. Now, you know, we get a fish you know hey that's that's kind of that's kind of whatever you want to oh man yeah

Speaker 23 what you think hunting is you think as soon as you walk in the woods you see something

Speaker 25 because you just never know you just never know you just never know what you know what you're getting you catching a fish and when you go hunting you don't know what might you what you might stumble upon you you never know No, Ocho, that's not how you hunt.

Speaker 23 You go hunt for a specific thing.

Speaker 25 Well, you go hunt for a specific thing, but you never know what might show up.

Speaker 23 you don't go you don't go hunt white tail and hope I kill a moose a moose might come before the white tail.

Speaker 25 A bear might come before before the before the moose. You never know.

Speaker 23 No,

Speaker 23 no.

Speaker 23 And then it caught first of all it is

Speaker 23 We go we gonna miss we gonna meet first of all. We gonna miss bear season anyway.
So be good.

Speaker 25 Okay

Speaker 23 Shadur said today that he doesn't want his dad at practice. I don't want him coming to see me right now because I want to go where I want to go than for him to see me.

Speaker 23 I don't want him to come see me, get a couple of reps, and he's cheering like a good day. Yeah, nah, you can't be proud of me right now.

Speaker 23 I got to get to where I'm going, and I know it's a lot I got to do to get there. Is that a smart move by Shadur not wanting prime to show?

Speaker 25 He doesn't want any distractions, no outside distractions. Obviously, Dion showing up would be a...
a huge distraction, even though he's coming to support his son.

Speaker 25 The type of attention that Dion would bring being in Cleveland is unwarranted, and Shadur doesn't want to deal with that. All the attention is on Shadur as it is.

Speaker 25 Everyone is talking about the Browns this season, which they've never been talked about like they have

Speaker 25 to date since the draft is because of Shadura Sanders. So Dion coming there would add not really any type of pressure, but just unwanted attention that Shadura doesn't want right now.

Speaker 25 He wants to focus on doing his job.

Speaker 25 getting the reps that he's going to get, that they're going to allow him to have,

Speaker 25 and just doing everything quietly. And I'm waiting on Friday.
I'm I'm waiting on Friday. I'm excited.
I'm excited for him.

Speaker 25 I'm glad they're doing what they're doing because the cream always ride to the top. Whatever hand, whatever cards are dealt, you got to play that hand and play it to your best of your abilities.

Speaker 23 I agree. I agree.

Speaker 23 Look, he prime. Prime, wherever he's at, prime go stand out.

Speaker 23 And, you know, and Shador is like, look, let me focus on what I need to focus on.

Speaker 23 I don't want y'all asking me, what's it like having my dad at practice and all that other stuff that comes along with Prime. Prime

Speaker 23 got his thing.

Speaker 23 First of all,

Speaker 23 he got to get his help. And it seems like he's progressing quite well.

Speaker 23 He had a very, very, very serious surgery.

Speaker 23 You know, reading up on it

Speaker 23 and seeing what they had done, man. Boy, modern medicine is amazing.
Man, what they can do. Boy, look here.

Speaker 23 Boy, I don't know what you believe in, but for somebody to give somebody that kind of information

Speaker 23 and to create,

Speaker 23 man, please.

Speaker 23 But I like it. I agree with you, Ocho.
I like the fact that your door says, let's keep this the thing. This ain't no circus here.
This is my job.

Speaker 23 This is my job. Now,

Speaker 23 this is a very different job because sometimes parents do come to work. Most of the time, Ocho,

Speaker 23 you work at a regular nine to five. It ain't bring your parents.

Speaker 23 Bring your parents to work day. You might be able to bring your kids to work day, but you don't bring your parents to work day.
And he wants to keep the main thing, the main thing.

Speaker 23 He don't want time.

Speaker 23 And ain't like time. Just he time.

Speaker 23 You know what comes along with time.

Speaker 23 He just wanted to be a supportive dad.

Speaker 23 But he's like, look. I know you're going to cheer.
I get one rep. You're going to make it seem like I just threw the game winning touchdown in the Super Bowl.
He's like, but nah.

Speaker 23 buddy's like, nah, nah, pops. Nah, pops.
You go ahead and stay where you are right now, nah.

Speaker 23 Yo. All right, Ocho.

Speaker 23 Liam Cohen, head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, says Travis Hunter winning offensively and defensive rookie of the year is possible.

Speaker 23 Travis is listed as the start on offense and a backup on defense. To have a chance of winning both awards, he needs to be playing full-time offense and defense.
So

Speaker 25 I like it. What do you think? I like it.
I like it.

Speaker 25 defensively, I don't think he'll win it. I think defensively, rookie of the year is probably going to be Abdul Carter.

Speaker 25 It's going to be Abdul Carter. I'm not sure what the workload will look like for Asing Gentee down there in Las Vegas, but I think he will probably come in second.

Speaker 25 But watching Abdul Carter and knowing what he can do

Speaker 25 defensively, especially coming off that edge, he's going to be a menace. He is going to be a menace.

Speaker 25 Yeah.

Speaker 23 And you think about it. He got

Speaker 23 Lawrence. He got Thibodeau.

Speaker 23 So

Speaker 23 pick and choose.

Speaker 23 He got a top two, three defensive tackle.

Speaker 23 He got K-Bon Thibodeau that can, you know, we know what he can do. He can rush the passer when he's healthy.
So it's going to be hard to slide and try to like double him and take him away.

Speaker 23 You know, normally what we've seen is that

Speaker 23 quarterbacks

Speaker 23 get a premium on winning rookie of the year because they got the ball.

Speaker 23 Joe's gonna be throwing, throw 30 touchdowns. It's hard to overcome that.

Speaker 23 Now, you have a situation like Chase. You know, Chase put 1,400 yards up, so it was hard to

Speaker 23 deny him.

Speaker 23 You look at

Speaker 23 who else? Like you said, Genti, running backs. You get 300 carries, he average four and a half, five yards of carry.
That's 1,400, 1,500 yards right there. Absolutely.

Speaker 23 And then, guess what? 1,400, 1,500 yards with 12, 15 touchdowns.

Speaker 25 I like him for offensive work of the year.

Speaker 23 Yeah,

Speaker 25 they're going to get in that ball. Listen, Brian Thomas Jr., he's not going to, Brian Thomas Jr.
is going to

Speaker 25 do exactly what he did last year, plus something. But because Thomas Jr.
is so great at what he does so early, he's going to be the one to get double.

Speaker 25 He's He's going to be the one to get double. And that's when Trav is going to do what he does.
He's going to be going to make the plays that he makes.

Speaker 25 I'm curious when they, when they go nickel, I wonder if Trav coming on nickel.

Speaker 23 Oh, yeah, for sure.

Speaker 23 The question is, if he's going to be outside or

Speaker 25 he's going to be inside to start off.

Speaker 23 Yeah. You think so?

Speaker 25 Yeah.

Speaker 23 He's tall. I think he's

Speaker 23 better

Speaker 23 outside. Okay.
See,

Speaker 25 I don't know the depth chart for the Jaguars. I'm not sure who they they are.
I'm sure they probably do have a nickel. So they might.
I'm not sure how it's going to work.

Speaker 23 Hey, Ocho, you know, them guys in the slot, man. Them Jokers stopping on them lad McConkies.

Speaker 23 Hey, they running that Zarro route on you. They running that wheel.
They're running that

Speaker 23 whip route.

Speaker 25 It's just different.

Speaker 23 You get like Keenan Allen.

Speaker 25 Hey, did Keenan Allen just go back? Did he go back to the charging?

Speaker 23 Back to the charge. He went back to the charger.
I like that. I like that.

Speaker 25 Yeah.

Speaker 23 Yeah.

Speaker 23 I like that move too. I do.
I like that move by Fort Lewis.

Speaker 23 So all they got to do is familiar offense, familiar with the quarterback.

Speaker 23 I like it. I like that move.

Speaker 23 There it is on your screen. Do you see it? The depth chart?

Speaker 25 Nice.

Speaker 25 It's not up there. It's not.

Speaker 23 Okay.

Speaker 23 Let me say that real quick.

Speaker 23 Yeah, he's going to be starting.

Speaker 23 because right now Jordan Lewis is the nickelback.

Speaker 23 You got Tyson Campbell, you got Jerian Jones.

Speaker 25 Oh, Jordan Lewis is there. Okay, okay.

Speaker 23 Yeah, yeah, yeah, from the Cowboys.

Speaker 25 Oh, yeah, he definitely, oh, yeah, he did, he definitely, no, no disrespect.

Speaker 23 Darnell Savage, Savage, I think he's from Green Bay.

Speaker 23 Okay, I like Armstead, Josh Hines-Allen,

Speaker 23 Fosar Olokun.

Speaker 25 They got a nice little

Speaker 25 squad.

Speaker 25 Well,

Speaker 23 I am happy to be back, too.

Speaker 23 Come on. They got a nice little squad.
Yeah,

Speaker 23 they're going to be all right.

Speaker 23 I see you. I see you.
I missed you too, buddy.

Speaker 25 Man, when you get special players like that, man, all you got to do is put them in position, man.

Speaker 23 And

Speaker 25 it opens up everything else.

Speaker 25 You can do more when you have certain type of players with a special skill set.

Speaker 25 That's why I like what the Skippers have this year

Speaker 25 on defense. You know, they tailed off towards the end of the season for whatever reason, but they have so much now where they can do more.

Speaker 25 It opens up the playbook because you have a certain set of players. that have special skill sets it allows you to do more than what you could last time

Speaker 25 or last year for that matter Right,

Speaker 23 yeah, so it's gonna be interesting. Um, like I said, it's

Speaker 23 I mean, I just

Speaker 23 think that's just asking a lot of the young man to play at that elite level and to try to play two positions. He's a grown man out here, it's different.

Speaker 25 He said he could do it, it's different. We're gonna find out, we're gonna find out real soon.

Speaker 23 Yeah, hey, you're gonna find a question

Speaker 25 as a rookie, does he play in the preseason or no?

Speaker 23 Yeah.

Speaker 23 I think you got to give him some. I think you got to give him some reps.
Okay.

Speaker 25 Get used to that speed of the game because it's completely different. It's completely different in practice.
Titus.

Speaker 25 What up, Twin?

Speaker 23 I guess you can tell I've been gone for 12 days. You've been going that long?

Speaker 25 Hey, Titus. what up, twin?

Speaker 25 Come on, come on down to Miami. I'll take it to the dog park over in Midtown.

Speaker 23 He said, nah, he said, I'm intact. He said, it'll throw us both out.

Speaker 23 What that means? He's intact.

Speaker 23 He still got his seat.

Speaker 23 He still. Oh, yeah, that's it.

Speaker 23 I give a hey, listen.

Speaker 25 No, some nice people, nice, some nice people, some nice foods out there, La Collies, you know.

Speaker 23 People sue you, man.

Speaker 23 Stop. Stop.
That's enough.

Speaker 23 Got me all scratched up.

Speaker 25 They about suing for every goddamn thing these days. Jesus Christ.

Speaker 25 It's all right.

Speaker 23 Don't worry about it.

Speaker 25 I ain't shit. I ain't got it.

Speaker 23 No.

Speaker 23 But it's going to be very interesting to see. He's starting wide receiver opposite of Brian Thomas Jr.

Speaker 23 And then he's back up to

Speaker 23 Jerry and Jones. So,

Speaker 23 hey, paying him a boatload of money. He says he could do it.
Let's see what he can do.

Speaker 25 All the doubters wrong.

Speaker 23 Mm-hmm.

Speaker 26 Honestly, honestly, honestly, no one wants to think about HIV, but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like PrEP.

Speaker 26 PrEP stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it.

Speaker 26 PrEP can be about 99% effective when taken as prescribed. It doesn't protect against other STIs, though, so be sure to use condoms and other healthy sex practices.

Speaker 17 Ask a healthcare provider about all your prevention options and visit findoutaboutprep.com to learn more.
