Speaker 2 And now, Superhuman Shaq.

Speaker 3 I keep telling them not to say that. I'm no superhuman.
Believe it or not, I struggle with moderate obstructive sleep apnea, or OSA.

Speaker 3 In adults with obesity, moderate to severe OSA is a condition where breathing is interrupted during sleep with loud snoring, choking, gasping for air, and even daytime fatigue.

Speaker 3 Let's just say it can sound a lot like this.

Speaker 10 Sir, how you guys doing? Can y'all hear me?

Speaker 5 Yeah. We can hear you just by.
Can you hear us?

Speaker 10 Yes, sir. I'm on my wife's computer, so I'm trying to figure out how to change the name on it right now.

Speaker 5 L Dub, what's up? You mean to tell me you not Haley?

Speaker 5 What's that? You not Haley?

Speaker 10 No, no, that didn't mean that ain't me.

Speaker 5 LW, what's good, boy?

Speaker 10 I'm good. How you doing?

Speaker 11 Man, listen, man, life is good, man. One foot in front of the other, man.
I got my head hot so I can see where I'm going.

Speaker 11 But before we start, before we get into football, I just want to know, do you got a nutritionist?

Speaker 10 I do have a nutritionist on the team that I use.

Speaker 11 We're not using him or her no more. We're not using her no more.
Listen, I'm a meal prep. I'm the NFL nutritionist.
I've been appointed by the NFL for all the players.

Speaker 11 So I'm going to send you information and I'm going to be your meal. I'm going to meal prep you meals for the next 17 weeks and for the playoffs.
And you, my second client.

Speaker 11 So I got is you and Kirby Joseph. And then I'm

Speaker 11 in $20 a week. $20 dollars a week that's all that's all i charge and so i'll be making sure

Speaker 5 eat before every game i'm about to tell all the rookies about that i appreciate that i appreciate that thank you

Speaker 5 literally uh

Speaker 5 you get traded you go to seattle

Speaker 5 and it seems like in seattle you found a home i mean look it's not that you didn't play you didn't play bad and but it seems like you found a home in seattle can you tell us what's the biggest difference between seattle and and new york and i'm not talking about geographically but i'm saying in the defenses,

Speaker 5 was it something the way the coaches, the way you received the information? Was it the way they gave the information? Is it the defensive scheme? What was different about the defense?

Speaker 10 Man, honestly, I agree with you. I feel like I found a home out here in Seattle.
I feel like there's a combination of things that made it feel different.

Speaker 10 So the fan base was one of the big differences. Just like the way they embrace me, the way they show up on game day, the way they support our team and stuff like that.

Speaker 10 And then also just in terms of schematics and coaches, I feel like, you know, having AD who came from the Cowboys

Speaker 10 and then Coach Mike McDonald, I feel like they just kind of created this scheme where they allow me to like play with freedom and they allow me to be like a playmaker and use my athleticism. And

Speaker 10 they celebrate me for, you know, just being in the backfield. And sometimes,

Speaker 10 like if I'm see if I see a play outside of the scheme, they allow me to like sometimes swim a block.

Speaker 5 Go make a play.

Speaker 10 Yeah, exactly. Go make a play where,

Speaker 10 you know, a lot of times throughout my career, I feel like I've was almost too coachable at times where,

Speaker 10 you know, I was taken away from my playmaking ability where I was like trying to play a block the way the coaches wanted me to and stuff like that.

Speaker 5 So it's so funny.

Speaker 10 There's a combination of stuff.

Speaker 11 It's so funny. You just said that.
We just talked to Kirby Joseph. And the one thing I asked him, obviously, they have a new defensive coordinator, right?

Speaker 11 And I said, do you still have the freedom to have free will outside of the scheme that your coach has? Will they still allow you to do that?

Speaker 5 And he said, yes.

Speaker 11 And the fact that you started everything out about your coaches allowing you to have the freedom to be able to make plays based on your football knowledge and what your eyes see instead of what it says on paper

Speaker 11 is really, really important, especially for players like yourself to be able to reach their maximum potential. out there on Sundays.
And

Speaker 11 that's really dope. That's really, really dope to hear.

Speaker 10 Yeah, I agree. I think it's important.

Speaker 10 I mean, for me it just made me feel like it brought like the excitement of football uh back for me a little bit too which made me like once i started having fun i'm like y'all played before so you know how it is like when you're out there having fun and you're able to play free and you know have free will and be celebrated for it it's like uh the best side of you comes out and uh i feel like that's how it is here

Speaker 5 I'm asking you this. When you're at the Giants and then you get traded, you're like, damn, has anybody ever been traded from the Giants to the Jazz or Jets to the Giants? I mean,

Speaker 5 because it is so different. Jet fan, I mean, the Jets fans and the Giants fans, they're so different.
The city reacts so different to each team.

Speaker 10 Yeah, I mean, like you said, even though we played in the same stadium, the fan base felt different. The culture felt very different.

Speaker 10 The Jets were kind of further out in Jersey. Yeah.
Felt like we were like a New Jersey team kind of.

Speaker 10 And then the Giants being so close to the city made me feel like I was an actual New york team um but it was it was very interesting i mean luckily i didn't have to move during that trade i was still able to stay in my

Speaker 10 but it was definitely weird when like that same week i got traded i ended up playing in the stadium and like instead of going into one parking lot i went to a different parking lot and instead of walking down that hall to go to one locker room i just went to a different locker room so it was very strange it's uh yeah it was interesting yeah how how's the body holding up man you're going going into camp i mean actually,

Speaker 11 camp now ending. Prepare

Speaker 11 the body holding up.

Speaker 10 I mean, amazing, honestly. I mean,

Speaker 10 I have a coaching staff. Our strength staff here at Seattle is the same strength staff I had at USC.

Speaker 5 Okay.

Speaker 5 Yes, it's really cool.

Speaker 10 So they got to see me develop as like, you know, when I was a young player, so they know what works for Leonard Williams. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 10 And we all talk about how it looks like I'm like, and it feels like I'm in the best shape of my life, honestly.

Speaker 5 that's dope i mean that says something i mean for a guy your size to be able to move and be as agile i mean because we saw i what did they say you're you're the largest guy to ever get a what you have a 90 yard return a touchdown return you're the you're the heaviest guy in nfl history to return a an interception that far for a touchdown correct yeah that's correct yes sir so so so how did that so let me so take us through that take us through that play what what what was what were you supposed were you supposed to drop in courage or did you see something you see his eyes and just just like look i'm finna make this play yeah that's one of uh mike mcdonald's uh genius plays right there actually where we it was designed for the d-tackles to drop out and i actually got a pick and practice uh earlier in camp that year so when that play was dialed up like every time it's dialed up i'm thinking i'm a play is coming my way and it just happened like it happened so fast man like people were asking me like oh like what were you thinking when it happened and i was telling everybody it felt like it was like an outer body experience actually like i felt i was almost watching myself from like an aerial view of of the happening you know what i mean because you snagged it yeah i mean it wasn't like you ain't like you did i'm like no bro you i mean like you played tight end at some point in time you caught the ball you played on the other side of the ball you had to hey come up that was not a defensive title that means a lot man

Speaker 10 i played i played tight in the high school but it wasn't like much it was like just uh every once in a while i went to a big high school so we didn't have to play both sides that much uh but i'm an athlete though you know.

Speaker 11 You from LA?

Speaker 10 Yeah, I was born in California, but I went to high school in Daytona Beach, Florida. So I was kind of back and forth.

Speaker 5 Okay.

Speaker 10 I'm California, Florida, most of my upbringing.

Speaker 5 That's live. That's live.

Speaker 5 You got a different quarterback this year. Sam, Geno.

Speaker 5 leaves he goes to oak or goes to uh the las vegas raiders in comes sam darno who did an excellent job last year but you only you play with uh with sam in in in

Speaker 5 with the Jets. So you're very familiar with him.
What are the expectations? What you guys, you guys had a nice little end to the season last year.

Speaker 5 I mean, so what's the expectations this year for Seattle?

Speaker 10 I mean, I think the expectation is,

Speaker 10 you know, as a defense, we want to be the best on the field.

Speaker 10 We have high expectations for our offense this year, but like we compete with each other even within the defensive room. And so the defensive line wants to be the best group on the defense.

Speaker 10 The DBs want to be the best group on the defense and so on. But I'm definitely excited about the way our offense is looking right now.

Speaker 10 We got a new coordinator, and we're running the ball great so far. It's only been preseason, but it just looks like a new team with the way we're running the ball.

Speaker 10 And then, like you said, I play with Sam Darnold

Speaker 10 on the Jets. And then I also play with him at USC for like one year.

Speaker 5 Damn, you can't get away from him, huh? Yeah, I know. He keeps bubbling.

Speaker 11 uh but like just seeing what he did last year i mean you know he even played against us really well when we played them last year against the vikings yeah um and just seeing the the way he's matured you know he's bounced around played on a few teams played on a few different systems and i think he's finally found his groove and matured into a good player most definitely i mean i'm excited for you guys too especially from an offensive perspective seeing what sam darno was able to do in minnesota last year obviously with justin jefferson and addison hoggerson but then also now you got JSN, you got Cooper Cup over there, Kenneth Walker, obviously taking some of the pressure off him from a lot

Speaker 11 of them to be able to flourish. I think y'all going to be fine.

Speaker 11 Y'all going to be fine. So I'm excited for y'all.
Who y'all got week one?

Speaker 10 We got the Niners.

Speaker 5 Oh, yeah, y'all got that. Divisional match.
Divisional match, Tipperary.

Speaker 10 Week one, baby. Y'all got that.

Speaker 5 Y'all got that. Yeah, I know.
I'm not sure. Niners, they hurt.

Speaker 11 They don't know who they're going to throw the ball to. Yeah, y'all good.

Speaker 10 Y'all got that.

Speaker 5 Yes, sir. Let me ask you a question.

Speaker 5 tell me, what's your mindset? What's your thought process? Because, you know, you do you move up and down the line?

Speaker 5 Because, you know, all the great, like a lot of the defensive players that, you know, the Reggie Weiss, the Bruce Smith, the Aaron Donalds, those guys, the Johnny Randles, Warren Sapp, they moved up and down the line.

Speaker 5 And they're trying to turn the handle to the door and see which one opens the quickest, which one opens the easiest. And that's where I'm going to stay.

Speaker 5 So I might be, hey, I might have to be line up at a seven. I might have to line up at a five.
I might get in a three. I might get, hey, I might get in the nose.

Speaker 5 whatever i'm just trying to find the weakest link because that's how it is on the serenget the old and the and the weak get taken advantage of that's what i'm looking to do i mean you said it perfectly i mean i never heard it described with the opening the door thing that's like i'm gonna have to take that back into the d line room and spread that but uh yeah i mean I think that's something that makes me a unique player.

Speaker 10 Since coming out of college, I could play from the zero all the way out to like six, nine technique on the edge.

Speaker 10 Like, and it showed up last year. I was getting, you know, sacks at end.
I was getting sacks at three technique. I prefer three technique, like playing.

Speaker 5 You like to play the undertackle, huh? Yeah, I like to play the three technique.

Speaker 5 You like that shade? He likes to be on that shade.

Speaker 10 It's just less face, less stuff to look at. Sometimes when I'm out there at the end, it's like they'll try to put a receiver out there and make him look like he's

Speaker 5 making a little tall crack.

Speaker 10 You yeah, yeah, it's all that tricky stuff out there on the edge. Sometimes when I'm on the three technique, I'm just, it's just mono.
I'm go.

Speaker 5 It's go.

Speaker 10 I'm getting on my man right now as quick as possible.

Speaker 10 uh but in certain situations like playing against the niners um it's a little less about finding the fish what we call it you know like the oh yeah hey hey you gotta land him

Speaker 10 hey we got a fish over here yo we got the fish but against playing like the niners instead of finding the fish they actually like to line me up on trent because they say their offense is kind of ran around him sometimes so it's like uh their

Speaker 10 run game and a lot of stuff like that tends to run towards uh trent williams so they like to put me on him to kind of like help shut down the run a little bit. So it works hand in hand like that.

Speaker 5 What's it like? Let me ask you, what's it like to get traded mid-season? I mean, so they call you, so were you home, when you got the news that you were traded, were you home? Were you at practice?

Speaker 5 So where were you when you got the news that you were going to get traded?

Speaker 10 I was in the building.

Speaker 5 It was on. Damn.

Speaker 10 Yeah, it was on a Monday. So I came in just doing my normal routine.

Speaker 10 I was definitely hearing like conversations about like possible trade, you know, with my agent agent and just the way the season was going for the Giants.

Speaker 10 You know, we were we were losing. We were pretty much already out of the playoffs.
And then the GM like called me into his office, so I kind of already expected what was coming. And

Speaker 10 the way he presented it to me was making it seem like I had like two teams to choose from that were like both trying to trade for me for around the same offer, pretty much.

Speaker 10 And at the time, like the Seahawks were like number one in the division. I knew a Pete Carroll a little bit, and I just thought it was the best fit for me.

Speaker 10 It was obviously a struggle like coming all the way to the west coast, Pacific Northwest, in the middle.

Speaker 5 Yeah, that's a long way. That's a long, that's a yeah, it was long.

Speaker 10 And then I'm living in a hotel for like two weeks before I get situated in like a house and stuff like that.

Speaker 10 So it's a lot. But, you know, I even played good for those eight weeks that I was here.

Speaker 10 And I remember like my wife and like coaching teammates even asking me like, you know, how were you able to play good even in the middle of like moving and transitioning your life and stuff like that and for me i told my wife and other people that like there was so much going on like out of my control that it made me like fully focused on what i could control exactly i was fully dialed in on what i could control so it just like the way i showed up for work every day the way i played and stuff like that just like went to another level because i was like oh like i put so much more emphasis and focus on like what i could control right what what are your goals this this this upcoming season from an individual standpoint obviously you know team goals you have those defensively you have, obviously, you have team goals that you have as a unit.

Speaker 11 But from an individual standpoint, what do you hope to accomplish this season outside of the main goal being Super Bowl?

Speaker 10 I mean, as an individual, I think I just want to build on the season I had last year.

Speaker 10 I felt like I was

Speaker 10 short of some accolades that I worked for. And I feel like I want to, you know, be first AP all-pro and Pro Bowl this year.
And,

Speaker 10 you know, maybe like 10 plus sacks, like 15 plus TFLs.

Speaker 10 And also feed the rest of my guys. I feel like we have a great D-line right now.
And I feel like at least four of us can have eight plus sacks this year.

Speaker 5 Do you feel like the defensive tackles because you guys don't get the high sack totals? Aaron Donalds is an anomaly. A guy that plays the three technique can get 20 sacks.
That's crazy.

Speaker 5 That's unheard of. He was different.

Speaker 5 But you guys don't get like the edges.

Speaker 5 You know, the Miles Garrett and the Michael Parsons and the TJ Watts that's out there on edge and playing in space, they're going to have 13, 14, 15, 17, 20 sacks.

Speaker 5 Do you feel like you guys get the credit that you deserve?

Speaker 10 I think the standard for D-Tackle definitely has changed in the last few years. And I think Aaron Donald was a big part of that, obviously.

Speaker 10 Him getting 10-plus sacks every year and,

Speaker 10 you 20 sacks, his defensive player of the year.

Speaker 10 That was different for a defensive tackle. I think if you were getting

Speaker 10 six to eight sacks as a defensive tackle, normally, that's like a good season.

Speaker 5 That's a hell of a season.

Speaker 10 Yeah, that's a good season for a D-tackle normally. And I think nowadays,

Speaker 10 you know, fans want to see 10-plus sacks from a defensive tackle for them to think that you had a good season.

Speaker 10 And unfortunately, they see sacks as like one of the main stats, and they don't see all the play-in, play-out plays that are.

Speaker 5 The run, the tackle for losses,

Speaker 5 the holding up so the linebackers can make the plays.

Speaker 10 I mean,

Speaker 10 I don't like to do all that either.

Speaker 5 I like to do that. Well, I know what you told me you like to play the undertacker.
I already know you ain't tried a two-gap. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 10 I like to do nothing, but I want to make the play for sure. I love my linebackers, but like I said, we'd be competing in our room.
So I'm good.

Speaker 5 Hey, hey, first come, first serve, bro. I'm trying to get it.
I got first track. I'm closer to him than you are.
I heard you're in the magic.

Speaker 10 Oh, what do you know about that?

Speaker 5 Nah, I'm just, I've been, you know, doing a little research.

Speaker 5 So you.

Speaker 10 Yeah, it's not like, it's not like pulling bunnies out of a hat, like

Speaker 10 not like that type of magic. You know what I mean? It's a card game.

Speaker 10 It's kind of like similar to like Pokemon. Okay.
Okay.

Speaker 10 You collect cards and you can play it.

Speaker 10 It's called like Magic the Gathering from like Wizards of the Coast.

Speaker 5 The Gathering. Yeah, Magic the Coast.
Okay.

Speaker 10 And I Wizards of the Coast is the brand that that uh makes them and what's cool is they uh they're based out here in Seattle so they gave me like a tour of their facility and stuff like that and uh with you know we've been in communication about it so is that what you do in your downtime

Speaker 10 I mean I do a lot of things in my downtime I feel like I'm pretty different from most football players I think I started playing football uh later in life like I didn't start playing football until I got to high school and I feel like because of that I was able to kind of figure myself out as like a person a little bit I mean I was young still obviously but i i feel like i was able to like find other interests and hobbies and stuff like that outside of football so i like to go like spear fishing and like boating and traveling and stuff like that that's what i was i was about to ask you being up there in seattle do you like to you like to go fishing because you know uh what's the the market i went up there because you got to go to the market you go to seattle you got to go see them throw the fish and do all that have you have you caught them have have you been able to catch it yeah of course i went up there like

Speaker 10 a few weeks after i got traded when I finally got out of the hotel. Like, me and my wife were like, okay, now it's time to explore the city a little bit.

Speaker 10 So, we went to the market and like they all recognized me like right away. So, they were like, Big Kat, you got to come over here.

Speaker 5 And, like, I was definitely nervous because, like, I feel like I got hands. Like, you've seen the interception, but yeah, yeah, catching a wet, slippery fish.
Yeah, that fish, yeah.

Speaker 10 Yeah, I'm like, but I, but I caught it, and it was a pretty cool tradition. But yeah, that's something I like to do during my off time is go fishing and stuff like that.

Speaker 10 And I'm based down in Florida during the offseason, so it was pretty cool.

Speaker 5 Wait, you're in Florida? Yes, sir. Where at?

Speaker 11 For a lot of the. And I'm right here.

Speaker 11 I'm right here at Southwest Ranches. What's that?

Speaker 5 Let's go fishing, baby.

Speaker 11 I free dive when I fish.

Speaker 5 That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 10 When I go spirit fishing, you be free diving?

Speaker 5 Yeah.

Speaker 5 Come on. Yeah, man.
Look, I can hold my breath by four minutes. He ain't buying it.

Speaker 5 He ain't buying it. Hey, hey, Leonard, I can hold my breath like four minutes.
I can get in the spirit, in the water, like myself.

Speaker 11 I'm a nomad.

Speaker 5 Okay. Yeah.

Speaker 5 so man i'll get it when you get in the offseason man i got you we got we could take my boat we'd take where you at where you at huh where you live where you live i'm in southwest ranches and full out of there yeah that's nice yeah let's go man let's do it yeah

Speaker 5 yes sir this man tell me he got a boat and everything i do got i do got it

Speaker 11 i got a yacht it ain't it ain't mine but but mickey harrison let me use his yacht when i'm about to go

Speaker 5 same thing same thing

Speaker 5 you can't ain't nobody fishing off no yacht hey let me ask you this would you like would you would you would you go on a trip? Let's just say they said, well, they go out for it.

Speaker 5 They got to bring me back. I couldn't stay out there for no two, three months.
The deadliest catch. You know, they go out there to the barren sea.

Speaker 5 I might do it like a couple of days, but they're going to have to come get me. I ain't going to lie.

Speaker 10 The way the boat be almost completely tilted over,

Speaker 5 I don't know. I like that.

Speaker 5 You'd be sick.

Speaker 10 Yeah, I'm pretty adventurous and like to do a lot of crazy stuff. My teammates judge me for sometimes, but that's one of those I don't know about the deadliest catch.

Speaker 5 You good with that? Say them Alaskan King crabs. I wait till they break up.
I'll I'll bring them. Wait till they bring them to the store.
I get them there.

Speaker 10 I'll buy them from the market.

Speaker 5 Hey, I like the t-shirt. You know that t-shirt?

Speaker 5 Ligger than five.

Speaker 10 Yes, sir. That's my team from L.A., baby.

Speaker 5 Man, Lynn, thanks for joining us, man. Stay healthy.
Yes, sir. Great.
Hey, tremendous season last year. Hopefully, even better season this year, man.
Thanks for dropping by. And guess what?

Speaker 5 When you get those double-digit sacks this year and make first team all-pro, come back and tell us about it.

Speaker 10 Yes, sir. I appreciate y'all having me, man.

Speaker 5 Thanks for joining us, bro. Appreciate you.

Speaker 11 I'll see you on that boat. I got you.
I got you.

Speaker 5 Ocho, we got a little bad news. Chiefs wide receiver Rashid Rice has accepted the six-game suspension for violating the NFL personal conduct policy.

Speaker 5 In July, Rice was suspended, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years probation for his role in a multi-car crash in Dallas that left multiple people injured during the 2024 offseason.

Speaker 5 Ocho, how much does this hurt the Chiefs start to the 2025 offense?

Speaker 11 It doesn't hurt the Chiefs at all. It doesn't hurt the Chiefs at all, especially from an offensive perspective.
They have Patrick Mahomes at the helm. They have Patrick Mahomes at the helm.

Speaker 11 You look at situations similar to when Tyreek left. That offense didn't miss a beat because the quarterback is that great.
Now, they still have Hollywood Brown. So they'll be fine.

Speaker 11 I'm missing somebody.

Speaker 5 They still have Xavier Worthy.

Speaker 11 And one thing about that offense is each game, you never know whose day it's going going to be.

Speaker 11 As great as Rashid Rice is, when he's out, Rashid Rice is, when he's out there on the field, it's an awesome thing. With him being absent for six games,

Speaker 11 the Chiefs' offense is not going to miss a beat. That's just how great that quarterback is.

Speaker 5 Well, I think the thing is, is that you look at Rashid Rice, his rookie season, they won the championship. And

Speaker 5 he was only getting better before he got hurt last year. Look at the numbers that he was putting up.

Speaker 5 And plus, when Tyreek left, travis kelse was at his apex the question is can he still can he summons it up again and give you those type of seasons we saw a dip in the production he had the fewest amount of catches the fewest amount of yards that he's had in probably a decade so what we saw last year is not the travis kelsey that we're used to seeing can he said he lost 25 pounds he got back congratulations trab on getting married it's going to be an unbelievable that's going to be the spectacle that might be uh uh uh

Speaker 5 lady die and print and Prince Charles.

Speaker 5 That might be something. I mean, I don't know the last time we've had a wedding that's, you know, that's going to be to the scale of what this is.
Given who he is, given who she is,

Speaker 5 that's going to be something. That's going to be something special.

Speaker 5 But I do think it'll hurt, Ocho. Now, the question is, is Hollywood Brown all the way back,

Speaker 5 is Hollywood going to be Hollywood? He's healthy.

Speaker 11 He's healthy.

Speaker 5 Xavier Worthy looked good. He looked unbelievable in the Super Bowl.
Now, look, it's hard for me to really judge it on that, Ocho, because you're so far behind.

Speaker 5 And they just like, hey, do what you want to do, bro. Them empty calorie yards, they ain't doing nothing.

Speaker 5 But

Speaker 5 I did see as the season progressed, I saw Xavier Worthy get better and better and better. Yeah.

Speaker 5 And so I'm counting on him to build on that.

Speaker 5 The question, again, the question,

Speaker 5 what does Neff got? What is Trav going to be able to give you?

Speaker 5 Can he summon it up one more time and give you what? Because he had a great, what was that? The Texans, he had a game. But

Speaker 5 after that, that was not the Travis Kelsey we're used to seeing.

Speaker 11 But also, you have to understand from a defensive perspective, when you go into a game like that and you're playing the Chiefs, defensively, you make your adjustments based on trying to stop 87.

Speaker 11 How do we stop the Chiefs offense? Well, for one, you take away Patrick Mahomes, number one target, number one weapon. That's Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 11 So obviously, with teams eyeing on him a little bit more than others, now you need other players to step up to the plate and show that they can also be dominant at a position and hurt you as well.

Speaker 11 Them moving Xavier Worthy around, putting him in different positions to make plays. This year, you got a Hollywood Brown coming back, acclimated into the system.
He's healthy this year, fast as hell.

Speaker 11 Hell, they got a little mini four by one track team two over there now. So they ain't no slouches.
So I think they're not going to miss a beat offensively.

Speaker 11 When Rashi Rice does come back, that will make them that much better because it adds another weapon to Patrick Mahomes' arsenal.

Speaker 5 I think the biggest thing is for them is that can they protect Mahomes? Oh, the offensive line has to be a problem. That was the problem last year,

Speaker 5 especially in that Philly game.

Speaker 11 Especially in that Philly game.

Speaker 11 It was part of the problem throughout the season last year, and it happened in spurts.

Speaker 11 Mahomes running for his life, but obviously it came to a head when they played a defensive line like them goddamn Eagles.

Speaker 11 And boy, oh man, that was that was embarrassing.

Speaker 11 I feel bad. I feel bad for Pat.
It seemed like as soon as he got the ball, they was in his face.

Speaker 5 Yeah, they were. I mean, we saw this before in Tampa when they played Tampa in the Super Bowl in Tampa.
He didn't have time. And it doesn't matter.
We saw this with Tom Brady with the Giants.

Speaker 5 We saw this with

Speaker 5 Manning

Speaker 5 against Seattle.

Speaker 5 It doesn't matter who you are.

Speaker 5 Cam against Broncos. Yeah, yep.

Speaker 5 I was at that game.

Speaker 5 But

Speaker 5 he accepted that. They were looking to get the reports where they were looking for a whole season.
The NFL PA like, nah, we're not going to, we can't drive with that. But he says, okay, six games.

Speaker 5 Let me go ahead and get this behind me so I can move forward. Move forward with my life and this season.

Speaker 5 So Rashid Rice has accepted a six-game suspension for violating the NFL personal conduct policy.

Speaker 5 Michael Parthenon, the Green Bay rumors were in full swing this morning with this picture surfaced of him at DFW. Well, James later reports Michael was just seeking a second opinion on his back.

Speaker 2 Everybody knows Shaq, but off camera, he's just a regular guy.

Speaker 3 People never believe me when I say I'm just like them. I take out the trash, do dishes, and I struggle with moderate obstructive sleep apnea or OSA.

Speaker 3 And a lot of adults with obesity also struggle with moderate to severe OSA. You know those scary breathing interruptions during sleep? The loud snoring, choking, and daytime fatigue?

Speaker 3 I knew I had to talk to my doctor. Don't sleep on the symptoms.

Speaker 5 The Cowboys had Parsons undergoing MRI on his back Sunday, and Coach Brian Schottenheimer said the results were pretty clean.

Speaker 5 If Parsons are going to continue to hold in until he receives a contract extension, he'll need the doctor to sign off his back tightness being too much to play through.

Speaker 5 what you think of

Speaker 11 i love the game huh for the love of the game jerry could play his then micah could play his it's all a game at the end of the day you know how it goes oh that's how you feel well shoot this i feel my back hurt i gotta get a second opinion so we can both play the same game and i don't i don't think mica mica ain't gonna fold no time soon You know, if anything, honestly, if I was him, I wouldn't play week one.

Speaker 11 I wouldn't play week one.

Speaker 5 You're trying to gain some of that Emma Smith leverage, though. Yeah.
So you go out there, you're playing the Eagles.

Speaker 11 You need all hands on deck for one to be playing the defending Super Bowl champions, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Your best player not playing? Okay, Jerry, you got your ego.

Speaker 11 You don't want to pay me?

Speaker 5 Cool.

Speaker 11 Let's see what you do without me. And don't go out there week two and you play the Giants and you start a season 0-2.

Speaker 5 Oh, oh,

Speaker 5 oh, no.

Speaker 11 Listen, to me, it adds a little pressure on Jerry.

Speaker 11 I got to do something.

Speaker 5 I got to do something.

Speaker 11 And you start out the whole 0-1-2, boy. Listen, them fans over there, not that he cares.
Or the media or the pundits piling on top of the Cowboys.

Speaker 11 You're allowing your ego to get away.

Speaker 11 Well,

Speaker 11 I don't think winning is.

Speaker 11 Winning is on the horizon. It's not his first thought when it comes to him being the owner.
It's about lining the pockets and making as much as possible.

Speaker 5 So

Speaker 11 he ain't won in 30 years, so it probably won't, it probably won't hurt. It won't hurt him until it hurts his pockets.

Speaker 5 Yeah, but he's going to have to get a doctor to sign off. So he'll get a doctor's note, say, hey, tell him I backtrack.

Speaker 5 That's easy.

Speaker 5 It's hard because a lot of daddies are like, oh, man, you got to be putting my credibility on the line. You got me putting my credibility on the line, man.

Speaker 5 But Micah, so there's nothing to him going to Green Bay. It's just a rumor circulating.
He was in the airport going to get a second opinion on his back.

Speaker 5 Jaguars, rookie, wide receiver quarterback Travis Hunter is ready to play both ways in week one against the Panthers.

Speaker 5 Although Hunter was held out of some training camp practices and the final preseason game because of injury, Jaguar James Gladstone says Hunter is now full speed on the practice field.

Speaker 5 He's on the grass today and he's rolling full speed. We expect him to be who who we know him to be, and that's somebody that impacts both sides of the football.

Speaker 5 We can't wait to see that on Sundays and one Monday night this season. Man, how did you guys get a Monday night game? Who asked them for that? How did they get a Monday night game?

Speaker 11 Boy, Brian Tommy Jr., Trevor Lawrence, ATN

Speaker 5 again. How did they get a Monday night game? I just with all those guys you just named, how many games they win last year? Think about that.

Speaker 11 They got box office, they got box office players that people want to see.

Speaker 5 They in Jacksonville.

Speaker 5 jacksonville who

Speaker 11 jacksonville um the players people want to see jacksonville travis hunter box office brian thomon jr box office yeah we want to i i want to see that we want to see that we tune in you want you want to see popper rot you want to see potter popper at the uh sydney opera house or you want to see him in jacksonville you know what as long as he's singing I'm paying for it.

Speaker 5 There's a reason why there are memorable events.

Speaker 5 The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show.

Speaker 5 Michael, this at Wembley Stadium. There's a reason.
Talk to me. Venues matter.

Speaker 11 Right. Well, talk to me.
Let me tell you something. Venues matter, but when certain people are going to be there, I'm paying for it regardless.
Beyonce.

Speaker 5 Hey, check me out.

Speaker 11 Beyonce, let's say, at the hard rock,

Speaker 11 at the Hard Rock Stadium where the Dolphins play. She's going to sell it out.
Well, hella, Beyonce is a goddamn house of blues, which is small and only

Speaker 11 six five thousand.

Speaker 11 It's still gonna sell out,

Speaker 5 yeah. So, when you have but uh, Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr.

Speaker 11 ain't Beyonce, I know, but I'm trying to give you a little perspective.

Speaker 5 I know, yeah, because if I feel like if I feel like the way I look at it, this is what I look at, and you tell me what you think.

Speaker 5 If Beyonce goes to and performs at

Speaker 5 the house of blues, come on, I'm gonna feel that's more special because that's an intimate setting. That's not what she normally performs at.
She normally performs at arenas, 80,000. I'm just one of.

Speaker 5 She performs somewhere at a 5,000.

Speaker 5 Oh, that's intimate. Oh, I know Beyonce.
Oh, hey, man, where you going? Man, Beyonce pulling the house. But how do you get tickets? Don't worry about that.

Speaker 11 But see, so what does that tell you? So that means that tells you that it's an intimate setting Monday night because of Brian Tommy Jr. and Travis Hunter and the world wants to see it.

Speaker 11 I want to to see it.

Speaker 5 So the NFL understands. I will watch him on Sunday.

Speaker 11 How do we create these odds?

Speaker 5 Yeah, I think it has more to do with Trav. Travis, honestly, I think it has more to do with him potentially playing both ways.

Speaker 5 Because normally the one thing they always assured was you had to play a Thursday night game. Everybody had to play a Thursday night game or Thursday game, Thursday night, Thursday.
Cowboys play.

Speaker 5 Cowboys normally play two. They normally play Thanksgiving and then they play the following Thursday.

Speaker 5 with that being said, uh, and don't you? I'm anxious to see what he looks like on both sides.

Speaker 11 Don't jump on our bandwagon either.

Speaker 5 Who? Jaguars.

Speaker 5 Oh, that's your team now?

Speaker 11 No, I'm saying, I'm, I'm saying, I, I'm, I'm, my receivers, my receivers, Brian Tommy Jr. and Travis Hunt, them, they're my people.
They're my people.

Speaker 5 Okay. Yeah.

Speaker 5 Okay. Yeah.

Speaker 5 And and and then we might we might win the AFC South.

Speaker 5 So where's Houston gonna go? Who?

Speaker 5 The Texans.

Speaker 11 Shoot, Area 29.

Speaker 5 Oh, Joe. What's up? Travis Hunter and his wife, Lena.

Speaker 5 Hey, got some great news. They're just announced they're having a son.
Hey!

Speaker 5 Does fatherhood change your mentality on how you play the game? and who you do it for?

Speaker 5 A little bit, in a sense.

Speaker 11 Obviously, once you have a child, you want to play. And

Speaker 11 especially when the baby's so young, it's kind of different.

Speaker 11 When the baby that young, you know, you just, obviously, you keep the main thing, the main thing, and want to be able to provide, you know, for said child. But

Speaker 11 my view in general on the game, obviously, with me having, you know, 374 kids, it really never changed. I just always kept the main thing, the main thing.

Speaker 11 and wanted to be graded my craft in general craft yeah yeah yeah but that's dope man did they did they have the baby or she's pregnant?

Speaker 5 She's pregnant, okay? Yeah, that's dope.

Speaker 11 That's live, that's live, that's live.

Speaker 5 Because I think the thing is, On Joe for me, like, hey, damn, I sure wish we could have had these in offseason.

Speaker 5 It is what it is,

Speaker 5 uh,

Speaker 5 because, but I, but I was very fortunate. Um, my girlfriend at the time, she was like, Hey,

Speaker 5 you got to go to work,

Speaker 5 handle that.

Speaker 10 I got this, yeah,

Speaker 5 okay,

Speaker 5 simple.

Speaker 5 Um,

Speaker 5 congratulations, Trav and Lean and Liana.

Speaker 5 Um,

Speaker 5 that's dope, new parents, married, new parents.

Speaker 5 Um, put his mind at ease, you know. Hey, I think there's something to be said for a guy that's married

Speaker 5 and get to come home if it's if it's happy. You know, obviously, obviously, OJ married a girlfriend.

Speaker 5 Manat, you bickering and going back and forth. You don't want to come home.
Yeah, that's rough. That's rough.
That's rough.

Speaker 5 That's rough.

Speaker 5 Hold on, they had the baby?

Speaker 5 Did they have the baby or they have the baby?

Speaker 5 Was she pregnant?

Speaker 5 Oh,

Speaker 5 they already had it? Oh, man, that's that's oh, okay, okay. Hey.

Speaker 5 Oh, so she was pregnant. So I guess she was pregnant.

Speaker 5 Welcome to, welcome to baby boy. Oh, a baby boy? Okay.
Yeah, I guess she was pregnant when she got married. Oh, that's love.

Speaker 11 Hey, hey, Trav. I know you're going to see this boy.
Hey, listen. Holla at your boy.

Speaker 5 Baby. Oh, I didn't know.

Speaker 5 Because a lot of, you know, a lot of, a lot of women don't want to be. I don't want to be pregnant with nobody.
Am I wedding?

Speaker 5 You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 5 They want their wedding dress to be. They want that thing to be perfect.
They try to be pregnant. But, hey,

Speaker 5 well, congratulations on the birth of your first child, Travis and Liana. Congratulations.
Hopefully, it's a healthy baby boy. Much success on the field, and a happy home to you two guys.

Speaker 11 And if you need, if you need, holler at your boy, you know. But I, I didn't, I've been there about 37 times.
I got a nursery program, too.

Speaker 11 You know, about you know, I got a nursery program for kids.

Speaker 5 Ray John Rondo is dominating a rec league in flag football as a quarterback. Check out this video, Ocho.

Speaker 5 Okay.

Speaker 11 Okay.

Speaker 5 Damn, Richard, I aired that thing out.

Speaker 11 Well, hey, listen,

Speaker 11 it looked good, but

Speaker 11 I want to question. Oh, I want to question the

Speaker 11 level of competition that I'm seeing here on film.

Speaker 5 Yeah, he ain't no, they talk about he's the top right flag football in the country. Not throwing underhand enough.

Speaker 11 I want to see, I need to see the competition. I need to see him against some better competition.
You know, them look like, you know,

Speaker 11 Amazon drivers, you know, everybody taking a break. They off work and they out there just playing flag.

Speaker 11 But, you know, Ray John is an athlete.

Speaker 11 He can play a little bit of everything.

Speaker 5 Ocho, Cracker Bell logo. Yeah.
is back to its original the cracker bell logo after a viral issue of the company being too woke yeah if crack uh uh oh cho

Speaker 5 so if cracker bell go back to their old you know they had the guy on the on the barrel

Speaker 5 in this in the i think he's leaning on the rocking chair right he was in the rocking chair leaning on the barrel yeah yeah yeah yeah

Speaker 5 so if cracker bars going back to their og logo what nfl team should go back to their og logo oh that's a good one right there uh

Speaker 11 the bangles

Speaker 5 go back to the y'all got the same logo they with me real quick uh

Speaker 5 oh they had the the bingles. They didn't have the stripes.
They had the bingos written across the table.

Speaker 11 Yeah, go back to that. And obviously, especially with the jerseys, with the jerseys, go back to the remember the leap and tiger? Yeah.
Leap and tiger used to be the logo.

Speaker 11 Obviously, they went to the stripes, but I think the leap and tiger uniform, bringing those back would be really dope. When I think about old...

Speaker 11 Well, I mean, most teams, obviously, they have alternative uniforms.

Speaker 5 I mean, alternate uniforms, which is, they already have their old logo.

Speaker 11 Think about it. What else? That's pretty much it.
I like the old Bengals uniform with the Leapman Tiger from back in the 80s and 90s. Outside of that, back to this Cracker Barrel thing, I'm confused.

Speaker 11 Why were people so upset about the logo?

Speaker 11 Was it offensive or something?

Speaker 5 Well, they changed it. So in other words, they just had Cracker Bow.
They had removed the man sitting in the rocking chair with his elbow on the drum.

Speaker 5 Excuse me, the battle.

Speaker 5 So

Speaker 5 I guess people that like Cracker Bow said, hey, leave that alone. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
Who was that man harming? Hold on.

Speaker 11 So people complain about the logo when the food is still the same? Have they ever had the mama's breakfast? Have you ever had the mama's breakfast at Cracker Barrel or the pancakes?

Speaker 5 I've had the pancakes.

Speaker 11 I don't care about no damn logo. It's the food that...

Speaker 5 But they do.

Speaker 5 They do.

Speaker 11 Man, people are so off.

Speaker 5 And look, and don't try, look.

Speaker 5 Don't try to prove no point. Don't be like, you know, some companies want to prove a point.
And then, you know, you had taken lost the value had lost $143 million I had read, maybe even more.

Speaker 5 Just go back. Over a logo?

Speaker 5 Yes, over a logo. Damn.

Speaker 11 Yeah, I listen.

Speaker 5 Look,

Speaker 5 people,

Speaker 5 it's funny what people find

Speaker 5 pride in or don't want to let go of.

Speaker 5 The same thing some people feel about these Confederate monuments. Yes.
Put them back up.

Speaker 5 Me, look, oh, Ocho, look, like, I give you a prime example, like, like, I guess the Aunt Jemima, Miss Butterworth, and all that.

Speaker 11 That was my girl. That was my girl, man.

Speaker 5 It tastes, I mean, I wouldn't, I'm like, man, I ain't buying this syrup, man. Look at Aunt Jemima.

Speaker 5 I ain't look at it like that.

Speaker 11 I mean, I ain't.

Speaker 5 I ain't not one time I go in the store and say, I'm not buying no Miss Butterworth, or I ain't buying no Aunt Jemima or that other stuff because

Speaker 5 that's just me, Ocha. I don't get too caught up in stuff like that.
But hey, obviously, some people do. And to each their own, to each their own, they wanted to make a big deal out of it.

Speaker 5 Because it wasn't going to stop me from going to Cracker Barrel. If I'm hungry and I'm driving, obviously, I don't think there's any Cracker Barrel.
Are there any Cracker Barrels in Vegas, Jordan?

Speaker 11 Nah, there ain't no Cracker Barrels in Vegas.

Speaker 5 But I'm saying, let's just say, for the sake of argument, I can't remember. I haven't driven more than an hour in probably,

Speaker 10 oh my God, I don't know how long.

Speaker 5 But if I, let's just say, for the sake of argument, I'm in Atlanta and I was driving somewhere and I wanted and I got a taste for cracker barrel,

Speaker 5 I will stop by. Whether the man, whether the logo, he demanded a rocket chair with his arm on a barrel or not.

Speaker 5 Hey, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.

Speaker 11 Listen, hey, I don't, I chat, I don't know if anybody in the chat obviously knows I eat all the simpler, finer things in life.

Speaker 5 Cracker barrel right here long the biscuits and gravy good.

Speaker 11 I'm stopping period, man. That mama's breakfast, two eggs scramble.

Speaker 5 Damn, what y'all say? Side of sausage.

Speaker 11 I don't know. I don't know if it's the butter.
I don't know if it's the the batter in the pancakes or whether it's the syrup that's so goddamn good man stop playing look

Speaker 5 hey man look and stop going

Speaker 5 man

Speaker 5 a uh cracker barrel now bro if you go to a place like that you're not going to eat no tofu you going to eat sausage pancakes uh uh uh bacon you going to eat waffles you're going to eat uh biscuits and gravy that's what you going for hold on hold on speaking of biscuits and you probably don't do it.

Speaker 11 I'm just saying what I do when I go to Cracker Barrel. I, you know, the syrup is in the little container.

Speaker 11 Tell them, take the syrup, pour it in, warm it up, put it in a little cup, tell them to warm the syrup up, and you dip the biscuits in the syrup. You ain't never did that, huh?

Speaker 5 I like biscuits and gravy. I like uh, uh, man, there's something about the biscuits and gravy, man.

Speaker 11 Man, that bit that biscuits and syrup, biscuits, dip, dip the biscuit in the syrup, Man, before your meal comes.

Speaker 5 I like biscuits.

Speaker 5 Yeah. I like biscuits.

Speaker 11 Dave, I ain't been to Cracker Brilliant in a minute.

Speaker 11 I'm more of an IHOP person.

Speaker 5 I haven't been to IHOP either. I mean,

Speaker 5 when I was in L.A.,

Speaker 5 I would go to Denny's.

Speaker 5 But I like IHOP. Used to go to the I-Hop right up off P-Street.
They closed it down when I was coming up here.

Speaker 5 i'm a breakfast person though joe i like grits and eggs yeah me too i like grits and eggs with crispy bacon

Speaker 11 speak i'm a grist and egg i'm a grits and egg i'm a grits and eggs type i got another place i got to take you to where you got i told you about i crave you know about their breakfast i told you about uh smith and webster but i got to take you to just spoons

Speaker 11 just is that in miami it's in miami and for a lot of

Speaker 11 just what you're talking about that's right right up your alley boy just

Speaker 5 that's right up my alley not right up my alley just spoons breakfast huh Anything you want,

Speaker 5 anything you want

Speaker 5 under the soul, under the soul food umbrella, and they and they give you so much food, man.

Speaker 11 They wanted this one of the restaurants that they don't, they ain't stingy, they're gonna give you what you're looking for, and you're gonna walk out of them food,

Speaker 5 but man, nobody served grits no more.

Speaker 11 I'm telling you,

Speaker 5 hold on, wait, why? Did I tell you? Damn, I hate I got to come away to Miami to get some grits.

Speaker 5 Where you at right now?

Speaker 5 Texas.

Speaker 11 Okay, but listen, when you over there back on the West Coast, were you at?

Speaker 5 Yeah.

Speaker 11 Grits Cafe, huh? I tell you.

Speaker 5 Man, I'm not waiting in no damn line and have me standing outside that house.

Speaker 11 No, no, no, no, no. They know you coming.

Speaker 11 I'm telling you, go to Grits Cafe.

Speaker 11 And you talk about grits and eggs and

Speaker 11 fish and catfish and

Speaker 5 pancakes.

Speaker 5 How you like your eggs? Scramble? Sunnyside up, over medium, over easy. How you like, yeah.

Speaker 11 Oh, I get my two eggs scramble. Scramble, scramble.

Speaker 5 Yeah, and not too hard.

Speaker 11 No, right in the middle.

Speaker 5 Right. I mean,

Speaker 5 I mean, it all depends. Sometimes I do over medium.
Sometimes I do a scramble. Nah.
Sometimes I do sunny side. I mean,

Speaker 11 no sunny side. I don't like it running.
I don't lie.

Speaker 11 I can't do that.

Speaker 5 That's, I mean, but normally if I get down, if I get a breakfast sandwich, so when you bite it, and that stuff you

Speaker 11 nah, nah, nah, I can't.

Speaker 5 Oh, oh,

Speaker 5 we're not going to go there, Ocho.

Speaker 5 It's too soon. Too soon.
Next year this time.

Speaker 5 Next year this time.

Speaker 5 Give me a year. I need a year.
Need a year.

Speaker 5 Just say it. Just say it.

Speaker 5 All right, Ocho. Now it's time, chat.
It's time for one of your favorite segments. It's time for Ocho's spoken word.
Oh, the spoken word. Spoken word.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.

Speaker 11 What my head at?

Speaker 2 And now, superhuman Shaq.

Speaker 3 I keep telling them not to say that. I'm no superhuman.
Believe it or not, I struggle with moderate obstructive sleep apnea, or OSA.

Speaker 3 In adults with obesity, moderate to severe OSA is a condition where breathing is interrupted during sleep with loud snoring, choking, gasping for air, and even daytime fatigue.

Speaker 3 Let's just say it can sound a lot like this.

Speaker 5 Baby!

Speaker 11 Hey, what's my hat? What my hat from?

Speaker 10 Yeah, I was supposed to have my hat.

Speaker 11 I was supposed to have my hat, but hey, chat, y'all ready?

Speaker 11 Chat, if y'all can't see me, just snap your fingers for me real quick.

Speaker 11 Hey, where's that hat I bought in France? You know where it's at?

Speaker 11 Yeah, the one I had in France, because I'm finna do spoken word.

Speaker 5 Okay, all right, don't worry about it.

Speaker 11 I got to get in character.

Speaker 5 Okay, go ahead and get in character.

Speaker 5 Yep.

Speaker 5 Let me know. You're ready, chat.
Y'all ready, chat?

Speaker 5 All right, you ready, Uncle?

Speaker 5 I'm ready.

Speaker 11 A chair is still a chair,

Speaker 11 even when

Speaker 11 there's no one sitting there.

Speaker 11 Hold on, I'm in. I'm in my mode, baby.
I'm in my mode.

Speaker 5 Don't bother.

Speaker 5 Hold on. Let me get my hat.

Speaker 5 Okay. Here he is, ladies and gentlemen, with spoken word of the night.
Mr. Lepepe Ocho Cinco.

Speaker 11 I got to start over.

Speaker 5 Start over. Take your time now.
Take your time.

Speaker 11 A chair

Speaker 11 is still a chair.

Speaker 11 even when there's no one sitting there.

Speaker 11 But a chair is not a house,

Speaker 11 and a house

Speaker 11 is not a home

Speaker 5 when there's no one there to hold you at night, and no one there you can kiss good night.

Speaker 5 A room

Speaker 5 will always be a room,

Speaker 11 even when there's nothing there but gloom.

Speaker 11 But a room is not a house, and a house is not a home.

Speaker 11 But when the two of us are far apart,

Speaker 11 and one of us has a broken heart.

Speaker 11 Now and then I can call your name,

Speaker 11 and suddenly your face appears.

Speaker 11 But it's just a crazy game when it ends

Speaker 11 in tears.

Speaker 5 Le Pepe Pe Cinco.

Speaker 5 That's it, ladies and gentlemen, with spoken word of the evening.

Speaker 11 Thank you.

Speaker 5 All right, all right. Here it is.
Your favorite segment is spello cinco.

Speaker 5 Let's go.

Speaker 5 The first word,

Speaker 5 this is the type of cheese that you spread on spaghetti or lasagna is called parmesan.

Speaker 5 Parmesan. Oh, shoot.

Speaker 11 Well, that's a good one, dude.

Speaker 5 That's a good word to start off with because

Speaker 11 I've never used parmesan before, but I know about cheese, you know.

Speaker 11 I know you got this kind of cheese and you got other kind of cheese, but parmesan, I'm gonna take a whiff.

Speaker 5 P-A-R-M-E-S-E-A-N.

Speaker 11 I might be wrong.

Speaker 5 You are P-A-R, M-E-S-A-N. Parmesan,

Speaker 5 Hold on, let me lock in. Let me lock.
Hey, lock in, lock in, oh, Joe, lock in. It's kind of hard.

Speaker 11 It's kind of hard for my mind, for mine, being doing spoken word and being locked in and focused.

Speaker 5 Yeah, and be able to transfer it to go, yeah, yeah, because you think of you think of things that go together, right?

Speaker 5 And then you got to refocus and take that and get rid of that creative side and now just get to the side that, okay, right.

Speaker 11 Two different lanes, two wholly, two totally different lanes. So allow me to adjust,

Speaker 5 Ocho. This is a large, thick-skinned, semi-aquatic African mammal with massive jaws and large tusk.
He's referred to in Africa as the river horse.

Speaker 11 It's a hippopotamus. Oh, that's a good one, too.
That's a good one.

Speaker 5 Listen, this is a good one.

Speaker 11 So hippopotamus. H-I-O-B-O

Speaker 11 P-A-T-A-M-U-S

Speaker 5 H-I-P-P-O-P-O-T-A-M-U-S hippopotamus.

Speaker 11 Wait, is that not what I just said?

Speaker 5 That's not what you just said.

Speaker 5 But this one is an easy one. Okay.
This one, you got to get this one.

Speaker 5 This is a predatory myriad pod invertebrate with a flattened, elongated body composed of many segments. It's called a centipede.
Oh, centipede. Centipede.

Speaker 11 Centipede. This is a good one because I used to play the game Centipede back in the 80s, long time ago.
I know you remember that game, Monk.

Speaker 5 I do.

Speaker 11 I remember everybody's age group in here, but Centipede.

Speaker 5 C-E-N-T-I-P-E-D-E, Centipede.

Speaker 5 That is correct. C-E-N-T-I-P-E.
Stop playing with me. C-E, Centipede.
I play. This is what I do.

Speaker 11 I'm telling you. 1987, 1980 spelling beat champ, Charles Halley Paul.

Speaker 5 Oh, Joe. Let's go.

Speaker 5 Demonstrating or implying an undiscriminating or unselective approach, indiscriminate or casual, promiscuous.

Speaker 11 Oh, promiscuous.

Speaker 11 Promiscuous. Listen, I went to the prom before, and I know promiscuous starts with P-R-O-M.

Speaker 5 Okay, I-S

Speaker 5 C-O.

Speaker 11 Oh, shit.

Speaker 11 Promiscuous.

Speaker 11 P-R-O-M-I

Speaker 11 miss.

Speaker 11 P-R-O-M-I-C-Q-S. C-U-O-U-S.

Speaker 5 Now, thank you. What'd you say? Spell it again.
P-R. The last part.
P-R-Promiscuous.

Speaker 11 P-R-O-M-I-C-Q-U-O-U-S.

Speaker 5 You left the S out. I said, I said S.

Speaker 5 P-R-O-M-I-S-C-U-O-U-S.

Speaker 11 That's what I I said. Promiscuous.
Promiscuous.

Speaker 5 We have to go back and check.

Speaker 11 Come on. Come on.
That's two. I got two right.
Let's go, chat.

Speaker 5 Let's go. Let's go.
The last one is a person qualified to treat diseased or injured animals. Veterinarian.

Speaker 11 Wait, veterinarian.

Speaker 5 Oh, that's what I wanted to be growing up.

Speaker 11 I wanted to be a veterinarian. I wanted to be a marine biologist.

Speaker 5 Veterinarian.

Speaker 11 Okay, here we go. Veterinarian.

Speaker 5 V-E-T

Speaker 5 N-E

Speaker 5 R-I-A-N, veterinarian

Speaker 5 what'd you just spell veterinarian

Speaker 11 spell it again veterinarian

Speaker 5 v-e-tenet

Speaker 5 we're back there laughing ash

Speaker 5 jordan oh jordan said you spell venetian out in vegas no i no veterinarian you ready v yes e

Speaker 5 Damn

Speaker 5 Damn

Speaker 5 All right last okay what now is time for dunk on unknown okay god damn

Speaker 5 okay okay

Speaker 5 That wasn't that bad. That wasn't that bad.

Speaker 5 All right, Ocho. What we got? You ready? Okay, this is Lions Edition.

Speaker 11 Yeah, Lions, Lions Edition, Lions Edition.

Speaker 5 Yes.

Speaker 11 Let me know. You're ready.

Speaker 5 I'm ready, Ocho. All right, chat.

Speaker 11 Please, no answers in the chat. No answers in the chat, chat.
Please.

Speaker 5 No answers in the chat. No answers in the chat.
Here we go.

Speaker 11 Where did the Detroit Lions play their first ever game?

Speaker 11 Where did the Detroit Lions

Speaker 11 play their first ever game?

Speaker 11 Oh, my goodness. I was there.
I was there too. So it should be an easy answer.

Speaker 5 No.

Speaker 5 I know they didn't play it at the Silver Dome.

Speaker 5 Because that wasn't even thought about being built.

Speaker 5 Tiger Stadium.

Speaker 11 Tiger Stadium? That answer is incorrect. The answer you were looking for is the University of Detroit Stadium.
The game was played on September 23rd, 1934. I sat in the second row.

Speaker 11 The Lions beat the New York Giants 9-0.

Speaker 11 9-0.

Speaker 5 No, I'd have never gotten that one.

Speaker 11 Yeah, you're not going to get this one.

Speaker 5 You could have given me multiple choice. I would have got that one.

Speaker 11 You ain't going to get this one either. Here we go.
Who was the first Lions player ever to win the NFC Defense of Player of the Week award?

Speaker 5 Who was the first

Speaker 11 player ever to win the NFC Defensive Player of the Week award?

Speaker 5 Ooh, we.

Speaker 5 Oh, my goodness.

Speaker 11 Pat Swillings. Pat Swillings.
That's a good answer. That's a good try, but it's not Pat Swillings.

Speaker 5 The answer you were looking for was Michael Kofer.

Speaker 11 Michael Kofer won the award in week eight in the 1984 season.

Speaker 11 Wow. Yes, yes, yes.
I was there for that too.

Speaker 11 Now, this, this will be a little bit more updated for you, so you shouldn't get this wrong. I'm throwing you a bone here.
In 2003, jersey number three

Speaker 11 was worn by whom?

Speaker 11 I'm throwing you a bone here just to give you one to get you, to get you acclimated to getting one right.

Speaker 5 John Kitten, I don't know.

Speaker 11 That is absolutely wrong. And the fact that you don't know this lets me me know you don't know football the way I do.
The jersey number three in Detroit was won by none other than Oregon.

Speaker 11 Joey Harrington. Joey Harrington, who were drafted third overall by the Detroit Lions in the 2000s.

Speaker 5 I can't believe I missed that one.

Speaker 11 Yeah, you should have known that one.

Speaker 5 Here we go. I should have, Ocho.

Speaker 11 Damn. I know.
I know how you feel. I know how you feel.
The Lions missed out on all of the first 37 Super Bowls during that span. How many times did they appear in the NFC championship game?

Speaker 5 The first 37?

Speaker 11 The Lions missed out on all the first 37 Super Bowls. During that span, how many times did they appear in the NFC championship game?

Speaker 11 And I'll help you out.

Speaker 5 One. 1991, they lost.

Speaker 5 Yeah, 91. Yeah,

Speaker 11 you are correct. 1991 season, they lost 41-10 to the Washington.

Speaker 5 They lost the Washington Reds commander.

Speaker 5 They were the team, that team, but they're not the commanders, yes.

Speaker 11 Okay.

Speaker 5 Actually, they beat the Cowboys to advance to the NFL championship.

Speaker 11 I was there for that game.

Speaker 11 Jersey number 37 was worn by Witch Detroit Lion during the 1955 season.

Speaker 5 It should be easy. Oh, my God.

Speaker 11 It should be easy. It ain't.
He has a college award named after him. It should be easy.

Speaker 5 He has a college what?

Speaker 11 Award named after him. I'm throwing you a bone because

Speaker 11 I want you to get more than one right. I'm throwing you a bone.

Speaker 11 Jersey number 37 was worn by which Detroit lion during the 1955 season.

Speaker 11 And there is a collegiate award named after this individual. Bronco Nagurski? No.

Speaker 5 The answer you were looking for was Dope Walker.

Speaker 11 Dope won the Heisman Trophy in 1948 out of Southern Methodist University.

Speaker 5 SMU. Yeah.
Yeah. Hey, you got one right now.
We tied again, Ocho.

Speaker 5 I won. What are you talking about? I won.

Speaker 5 Hey. Hey.

Speaker 5 Let me, I gotta say, we gotta pull the tape.

Speaker 5 Come on, they don't start.

Speaker 11 They don't start. Cheat.
Don't cheat.

Speaker 5 I gotta pull the tape.

Speaker 5 I just want y'all to know,

Speaker 5 I'm playing this one under protest.

Speaker 11 Don't cheat me. Don't

Speaker 5 play under protest.

Speaker 11 You can't cheat greatness. You can't cheat.

Speaker 11 The fact that I had to transition and go from spoken word, which was well thought out, well thought out, and then transition into spelling is very difficult. Very, very difficult.

Speaker 5 The last segment of the evening is time for Q and A.

Speaker 11 Oh, man, I felt good tonight, boy.

Speaker 5 No, I got to take a look now.

Speaker 5 Kimber Noah Jr., my question is, oh, Joe, if the Bengals make it to the Super Bowl,

Speaker 5 who would the NFC team be?

Speaker 5 Who would the NFC team be

Speaker 5 they're playing against? And what's the score?

Speaker 11 You know, that's a good question. I think it's our time.
I think this year is our year. And the team they would probably play would probably be the Eagles.
Would probably be the Eagles.

Speaker 11 I think the Eagles are the strongest NFC team from top to bottom on both sides of the ball so that's a dream of mine i like that so bengals eagles super bowl san francisco i'll see you there

Speaker 5 then two one two one zero zero nightcap i know it's way too early but who do you guys have going to the super bowl i just told

Speaker 11 Now, I know they just heard me say the Bengals and the Eagles are going to be in the Super Bowl.

Speaker 5 I guess I can take one of my two teams. I can take the Ravens or the Broncos.

Speaker 5 The who?

Speaker 5 Ravens or the Broncos?

Speaker 5 They might be playing each other for the AFC championship game.

Speaker 11 Now, you just heard me tell him who the AFC team was going to be in the Super Bowl. So we had to.

Speaker 5 That ain't happening. That ain't happening.
That's not happening.

Speaker 5 You know what? Hold on.

Speaker 5 We're going to say that we're going to to make our picks.

Speaker 5 We'll make our picks on Monday. Nah, Wednesday.
Next Wednesday because the game is next Thursday. So we're going to make our picks next Wednesday before the game.

Speaker 5 Dr. Frank L.
Bellamy, hey, fam, Unc, do you think Michael Irving could be a guest one night and help defend my Cowboys? Ocho, would you have been a referee?

Speaker 5 Because with all the energy and testosterone between you, Mike, somebody liable to pass out.

Speaker 5 Yes, we could have Mike on. Mike is a very good friend of mine.

Speaker 5 He's a great guy.

Speaker 5 Yeah, we'll get him on.

Speaker 5 We'll do that. We'll get him on one night.
OG underscore Thanos. Who's under more pressure to reach the Super Bowl? Ravens or the Bills?

Speaker 5 Which is heavier, a ton of bricks or a ton of feathers?

Speaker 11 That's a good one.

Speaker 5 They weigh the same.

Speaker 5 They're both. Because now you got MVP winning quarterbacks.
Your team is back healthy.

Speaker 5 You've upgraded.

Speaker 5 You got Cook back. You upgraded with Johnston at wide receiver Shakir, Shakir is back.
Hey,

Speaker 5 and Ravens, Ravens got no excuse. The Ravens have absolutely no excuse.

Speaker 5 Rock Surge,

Speaker 5 would you ever interview Richard Hart? He's a billionaire that created four projects on blockchain, Hex, Pulse Chain, PulseX, and Incentive Token. He also defeated the SEC recently.

Speaker 5 I have no earthly idea who that is.

Speaker 5 You know who that is?

Speaker 5 I don't even know if my audience would know who he is, but I might need to do some research on him.

Speaker 5 If he creating all them projects, maybe I can create me something. See how he did it.

Speaker 5 Jay Breezy, do you think the Saints are tanking for Archie?

Speaker 5 We have zero quarterback to stand behind and so many other missing pieces.

Speaker 5 as a lifelong saints fan i'm hoping it doesn't take a decade to get the get a team going no i don't think they're going to tank they're going with uh spencer rattler spencer rattler um

Speaker 5 they opened it up he and shook they battled it out they feel more comfortable uh kellen moore feels very comfortable with uh spencer rattler at the helm we'll see how long he can keep him off um I don't think he has a short leash.

Speaker 5 I think

Speaker 5 Kellen Moore understands that to play that position, you can't play it with someone looking over your shoulder. So I expect him to

Speaker 5 not

Speaker 5 make a decision based on booze, based on what's being written in the paper, because he understands that's a very difficult position to play, and you still have

Speaker 5 a young quarterback. So

Speaker 5 I don't think they're tanking for Archie Manning.

Speaker 5 Well, yeah, Arch Manning. I don't think they're tanking for him.

Speaker 5 Bro, can y'all see if the guy can play? Damn.

Speaker 5 Y'all will let the man play?

Speaker 5 Damn. Let him play before we start talking about first more overall pick.

Speaker 5 Daryl Nickens, Uncle Nocho, I got my LLC going last week. Plus, I'll be starting my own sports podcast inspired by you guys.
It will be bilingual. Any advice?

Speaker 5 Also, I got limited edition cognac three days ago. Well, Daryl, thank you very much.
I really appreciate that.

Speaker 5 Bilingual sports podcast, just be you. Be authentic.

Speaker 5 People want to hear authenticity. They don't want to feel like it's watered down.
That's why they go direct to you. So it's direct from you to the consumer.
And so it's not a

Speaker 5 this or that that, well, he can't say that because they're going to get mad at him. It's your platform.
You can say whatever you want.

Speaker 5 So just be you.

Speaker 5 That's the only thing you can be. Nobody else can be Daryl.

Speaker 5 Only you can.

Speaker 5 How great can Chris Henry Jr., number one receiver from Matter Day and Jeremiah Smith, be together at Ohio State next year?

Speaker 11 That's going to be nice, boy. It's going to be nice.

Speaker 5 Jeremiah Smith had an NFL body of the true freshman.

Speaker 5 He's nice.

Speaker 11 Now they

Speaker 11 have a nice little squad over there, boy.

Speaker 11 Man, Chris Henry Jr., I saw Matter Day was on

Speaker 11 TV on ESPNO.

Speaker 5 Yeah.

Speaker 5 Didn't it be St. Thomas Aquinas?

Speaker 11 And Chris Henry Jr. went off, boy.

Speaker 11 Man, he went crazy out there, man.

Speaker 5 Zachariah Harris said, oh, give Ocho one more word. If he gets it wrong,

Speaker 5 he eats the viral

Speaker 5 egg lie. What is that? A what?

Speaker 11 I mean, he's acting like that's.

Speaker 5 naming this stuff. I don't know nothing about, man.

Speaker 11 It ain't nothing I won't eat. So I'm sure that's right.
That's not even.

Speaker 5 Yeah, we know that.

Speaker 5 Junior underscore cool cat. What's up, Uncle Nocho? Just had to put my dog down earlier.
He was my baby boy.

Speaker 5 What's some advice you have for during this grieving time? Bro, I ain't got no advice, bro. That day hurt.
I ain't going to lie to you. You're never going to get over it.

Speaker 5 You're just going to get better at dealing with it. Man, that pain, boy.
Hey,

Speaker 5 even though, and the thing is is that like

Speaker 5 once you make a decision to put the dog down and you realize that you're only keeping the dog alive for you and not for it because it's suffering man that hurt even worse man

Speaker 5 man

Speaker 5 you talk about hurt

Speaker 5 oh there it is right there uh a balut egg is a fertilized duck egg embryo popular in the philippines and other parts of southeast asia that is boiled or steamed and eaten from a small shell from the shell the process involves sipping the savory broth around the developing chick before eating the yolk and the embryo with a uh

Speaker 5 nah uh yeah oh joe that ain't nothing you ain't gonna do that that ain't nothing can you see it

Speaker 5 no i can't see it but ain't that ain't nothing all i heard is embryo and sucking i'm good i got it

Speaker 5 I'm good.

Speaker 5 And that ain't nothing. Listen,

Speaker 11 I've been around the world and had

Speaker 11 delicacies from all cultures, frog legs, chocolate-covered ants. I mean, what's that?

Speaker 5 That's nothing.

Speaker 11 I thought it was some type of challenge.

Speaker 5 That ain't nothing.

Speaker 3 Yeah.

Speaker 11 And I swallowed that whole. I ain't sipping nothing.

Speaker 5 Yeah,

Speaker 5 next year this time, we'll have a very interesting conversation.

Speaker 14 Honestly, honestly, honestly, no one wants to think about HIV, but there are things that everyone can do to help prevent it. Things like PrEP.

Speaker 14 PrEP stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it.

Speaker 14 PrEP can be about 99% effective when taken as prescribed. It doesn't protect against other STIs, though, so be sure to use condoms and other healthy sex practices.
