If you are a Miami Dolphins fan, if you you live in the city of Miami, if you were born in the state of Florida,
I don't want to hear you say foot
or ball.
I don't want to hear you say pig skin.
I don't want to hear you say NFL.
Don't do it.
I'll take it from here.
The Dolphins are 0-2 after a 33-27 loss to the Patriots.
They allowed points on the opponents first 10 drives this season and now face on a short week the buffalo bills
oh joe hey can i yeah tell me something
you know we're going we're going to play in buffalo right thursday night
yes
If I was to sit here and tell you, right, that if you understand the game of football, if you understand the way the NFL works that the dolphins are gonna go in there and they're gonna beat buffalo thursday night would you believe me you wouldn't you wouldn't believe it
if i tell you friday morning that the miami dolphins will be one and two
going into week four would you believe me
okay
i saw what drake may did to y'all what you think what do you think what do you think josh allen's gonna do
you know i like your confidence I like your confidence you have in 17
I like it
I know you don't like the I know you don't like the confidence that you got in number one
oh we're gonna be all right we gonna be all right you know you know it's only week two huh it's over for y'all locho you know that I know that oh whoa whoa whoa slow down slow down
So is it over for the Chiefs?
Yeah,
one of them got two and the other other one got Patrick Mahomes.
One of them got Andy Reed and the other one got Mike McDaniel.
Now, which one, who has who?
I like that you're counting this out.
I like that.
I like that.
I like that you're throwing in the towel.
I like that you have no confidence.
Man, it's over for the Guppies.
Okay.
The Miami Guppies.
That's what y'all are.
Officially, y'all are the Guppies.
Okay.
Okay.
I mean,
I was a little kid at chat.
I know y'all remember when you were a little kid and the fish tank, and at the end of the day, they would let you take some of the guppies home.
And I take, and I ain't have no fish tank, but I would take the guppy, they put him in a little plastic bag with some water.
And I end up having to throw the guppy in the wood.
My grandpa said, boy, don't you put that
damn fish in that manage, y'all.
All right.
Hey, you, hey, you, everybody smiling in the chat, everybody laughing.
Everybody, everybody laughing in the chat.
But when we get on the show Thursday and I get on here boasting and hollering, you won't.
I say I told you so
I took watch chat.
Y'all, y'all remember this too.
Now, Drake may put up 33.
What?
Drake may put up 33 on y'all.
Drake may
19.
This man man was 19 or 24.
Hey,
we're going to make a believer out of you.
We're going to make a believer.
Everybody in the chat that's
everybody knows the guppies ain't going to do nothing.
Y'all ain't did nothing in a while.
They're about to break this thing up.
Wait a minute.
Hold on.
Hold on.
You know it's still hot, right?
Yeah.
And y'all losing when it's hot.
You know how well we play.
You know how well we play when it's hot, especially when we're going to Buffalo this early in the season?
I'm just curious.
You know, Buffalo is a division opponent, right?
You know, we know them very well.
They know our tendencies.
We know their tendencies.
We play very well against the Buffalo Bills when it's not cold.
Tua got sacked five times.
Hey, how many times Bo Nick got sacked today?
Two, I think.
Okay.
I know, I tell you what, I bet we have a better record than the Guppies.
The Broncos one and one, right?
We better record better than the Guppies.
Bo Nick got sacked zero times.
When?
Nick and I both got sacked twice today.
Tyreek and Tour wasn't on the same page.
Tour did have Tyreek did have six for Buck 09.
A-chan had eight for 92.
Waddle had five for 68 on the tub.
The Guppies ain't gonna do nothing, no Joe.
Y'all ain't about to be no big fish.
Y'all will be, y'all.
Y'all, y'all feed a fish.
You know what feeder fish is, right?
They feed y'all to the other fish.
That's what they do with the Guppies.
Okay.
So they feed y'all to Buffalo and other good teams.
Hey, keep the same, keep the same energy Thursday, please.
I am.
Keep the same energy when we come on the show Thursday night and I sit here.
I'm going to have on my tour jersey.
I'm going to have on my tour jersey and be like, I told you so.
I told you so.
Oh, Joe, let's take a listen to what Tua had to say after the game.
I think,
well,
having some talks with Reek and whatnot,
that if I do, just don't think that I'm going to throw it 80 yards.
Like, as you're running, just do your best to track it because you could potentially stop.
That's what ended up happening on that play for Reek.
And then, with him and Waddle, with those deeper outbreaking routes,
just trying to help them get open while maneuvering
the corner and the flat.
I'm confused.
Yeah,
I need better context.
I would love to see the play he's referring to.
Well, I saw Tyreek pull up and he caught a deep pass.
Got kind of overran the play.
I saw that.
But I'm trying to figure out how you try to help them get open on deep outbreaking routes.
No, you have to throw them open.
Just throw to a spot.
Yeah.
Tour is a rhythm.
Tour is a rhythm in timing quarterback.
Yeah, well, you know, we know you're not making no plays off rhythm.
Yeah, I mean,
you throw them open, and he's great at that.
He's one of the best in the NFL at that, regardless of what people may say.
When it comes to putting the ball in places, in position,
before receivers are even out of their break, he is great at placing the ball and throwing receivers open.
That's what he does extremely well, and he always has.
But you know what, Ocho?
He has to because he doesn't have the strongest arm, so he has to throw with great anticipation.
So the ball basically have to be out of his hand before they're out of the break.
Yeah, But I'm like,
see, he's like, well, I need to, you know, try to, you know, get them open while also maneuvering in the pocket.
But that's, but, but on deep outs, that's real, that's timing.
It ain't nothing you can do.
Yeah.
You, you hopefully, you call that play expecting a certain defense.
I don't know.
Maybe I might have to watch some of these games so I can get a a better, I mean, like really, really hone in.
And that's because I don't get what he's saying, though, Joe.
I really don't.
Yeah.
Because he's like, I need to get them open while also trying to maneuver.
Yeah, in the pocket.
Obviously, we know Tu is not the dual threat quarterback.
Just pocket present, maneuvering, and being able to throw on the run and throw them open is the only thing I could take from that.
I watched the game today, so
that's all he could possibly mean.
Yeah.
Okay, I'm gonna take your word for it because,
ooh,
I'm a little confused.
After being booed throughout the game, Mike McDaniel was asked if he's worried about his job.
I think if I worry about my job security, I won't be doing my job.
I won't spend one moment thinking about all the things that whatever people want me to think about.
Ocho,
put your
prognostication hat on.
Who goes first, Mike McDaniel or Tyreek?
Oh, that's a good question.
That is a great question.
And
I'd be better suited to answer that question if we were further into the season and things were looking like they look right now.
But that's the whole objective.
That's why we don't want you to get farther into the season.
That's why I say put your prognostication hat on.
Because we get farther into the season, we don't have to put the hat on.
Right.
I would think probably Tyreek.
I think Tyreek would probably go.
Do they have anybody with head coaching experience
on the coaching staff?
that could be what an interim interim coach
yes
i'm not because there's a great chance you're gonna start 0-3
that that definitely not happened i i told you that already already huh you got to listen to me when i tell you stuff now especially about the game of football i ain't gonna do that like i i know i know stuff i know i know you 267 and all but when i tell you the dolphins are winning thursday night when i tell you the dolphins are winning thursday night against the bills you have to listen to me and understand they are not starting the season 0-3.
They are.
We are going to go to the basement.
Who did play after Buffalo?
Because
I got a suspicion they're going to start 0-4.
Who we got after Buffalo?
The Jets.
Oh, yeah.
Y'all going Opha.
Oh, we definitely.
But
did you see the Jets today?
And you think we're going to lose to them?
Yeah,
I saw the Dolphins too.
Hey.
what?
I have my dry hat.
Oh,
y'all will be one in four, Ocho.
Y'all got the Panthers week five.
Where'd they play the Panthers at?
In Carolina.
Oh, Carolina got y'all.

You probably think of Michelin as a tire company.
And I mean, it is, but it's really an innovation company.
And that's why their tires are as good as they are.
It started in the 1800s making brake pads for horse-drawn carriages.
Later, Michelin basically invented the modern tire with the first steel belted design.
That innovation has never slowed.
In fact, it's only accelerated.
See what I did there?
These days, through its Michelin in motion vision, the company is expanding into healthcare, energy, and even aerospace.
Seriously.
For instance, they're developing an airless wheel for lunar exploration.
It's got to deal with vast temperature swings, radiation, and the rough terrain on the moon, and maybe one day on Mars.
I mean, this is more than just some sort of vanity project.
It showcases Michelin's broader shift from tire manufacturing to high-tech, durable mobility solutions.
It's about the same exact thing that led to those horse-drawn carriage brake pads well over a hundred years ago.
It's about innovation.

The Eagles beat the Super Bowl, beat the Chiefs again in the Super Bowl rematch.
The Chiefs are 0-2 for the first time since 2014.
Patrick Mahomes starts the season 0-2 for the first time since his sophomore year in high school.
Jalen Hurts is now 3-2 against Patrick Mahomes, including the playoffs 2-1 in the regular season.
The broadcast caught an exchange between Chris Jones and Jalen Hurts.
Jones said, You don't even have 100 yards hurts we won the effing game shut your leap up
yeah
hey it was it was a sloppy game yeah
it was it was it was a sloppy game i expected fireworks you know obviously you think about you think about the eagles as great as their dog their defensive line is the tush push dominated the game today uh saquon was decent i i don't like the fact that again aj brown not getting involved into the game the way he should be being a top when we talk about the the top receiver in the NFL but again it's the offense that they do run they are winning a lot of people say listen numbers don't matter stats don't matter as long as we are winning games but one of the things that I don't like
is what teams do when it comes to business when you command a certain salary the first thing you're gonna do is they're gonna tell you well what we're paying you doesn't match up to the production that you're giving us you know we won't we're gonna need you to take a pay cut you know we're gonna need you to take a pay cut that that's why i always complain about them not getting him the ball as much.
But again, they are winning.
At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
I just understand the business side of things down the road, what they're going to try to pull.
Outside of that, on the Chiefs side of the ball, oh, this is...
The receivers, they got guys, Ocho.
And no matter what you say, they have guys.
Juju is a guy.
Hollywood Brown has become a guy.
They're guys.
Kelsey has been lazy.
He's getting lazy with his head and he's getting lazy with his eyes.
He knows in that area of the field, he has to snap his head.
He knows.
I don't know what he's looking at.
I don't know why he's so lazy with his head.
There's nobody inside and
what's 32's name?
Blanket ship.
He got you, man.
Why are you so lazy?
Your head back.
You got to snap it around.
It's like he, he got it.
And if, no, bro, you got to snap that.
You know that.
And you took points off the board.
So in other words, you don't get points and they go down and they get points.
Points, yeah.
They got guys.
Oh, Joe, they got guys.
I don't care how great Mahomes is.
He's not overcoming that.
They got guys that running back.
And I keep telling you, Pacheco's a guy.
There are 50 guys.
You can find 50 guys in the NFL that can do exactly what Isaiah Pacheco can do.
Kareem Hunt is past his prime.
He's a guy.
They got guys.
They got guys.
There's nothing special about anybody on that team right now offensively other than Patrick Mahomes offensively.
They got guys.
But you heard what you just said?
There's nobody on that team that is special outside of the quarterback.
And that's the most important position.
I'm saying offensively.
I mean,
Chris Jones.
But I mean, look, that offensive line did an outstanding job today.
They ran the ball.
Yes.
34 rushes, 122 yards.
Look, Ocho, I ain't got no problem with the tush push, but if you're going to let them jump the count, can't nobody stop it?
You remember last year, they tried to, a couple of years ago, they tried to put an emphasis on those tackles with jumping the snap count, and they started calling it.
If you're going to let the offensive lineman jump the count, they start the guards and tackle start moving before the center stops the ball, but no, nobody's going to be able to stop it.
And you can see it, they jumping the count.
Yeah.
But this, I mean, the Chiefs look bad.
There's nowhere around it.
The Chiefs just look bad, Ocho.
I mean, Patrick Mahomes, you're leading Russia.
I mean, he's taking,
and he's going to have to be careful
lowering that shoulder.
I know his is not throwing shoulders, but you got to be careful with that.
But
you throw caution to the wind ocho because you get out there and you're a competitor and you you you you know you've lost uh uh your first you lost the first game you lost the second game and you just want to have some resemblance of something of offensively and try to stay on the field but he's going to need to be careful but offensively they got guys I mean, Mahomes, and Mahomes had Thornton wide open and he overshoots him by 15 yards.
Now they come back and catch him again, and he makes an outstanding play.
But
yeah,
on they put that safety in the buy and had him make a choice either you either you stay with the safety and mahomes hit that dig safety drove on the dig throw it over the slide open it was too late it was too late for mitchell to get over uh
from the from the deep third to be
but listen you got you have to think about when tyreek left the chiefs they just had guys
and mahomes was still able to get it done for me if as long as i have 15 i'm not a chiefs fan but as long as i have 15 i have a chance but as long as I have 87, who knows what I'm saying, I hate to make 87 now.
Oh, Joe, he's not that same guy that he was
when Tyreek first left.
You know that.
You watch the guy.
You're watching it.
I mean,
I'm not breaking news, and everybody knows I love Neil.
But he's not the same.
It's not even close.
And you lose Rashi Rice, who started, if you go back and look that year that he got there, he had started to take over.
Okay, they got something.
Worthy had started.
And now he's hurt.
So now you got, man, look.
Baltimore was willing to trade a Hollywood Brown.
The Cardinal was willing to let him go.
Come on now, Ocho.
Look at Juju.
Yeah.
Pittsburgh says, okay, you can go.
He goes to New England.
They're like, nah, you good.
Go ahead.
I think he went to New England first.
Then he comes to Kansas City.
He goes somewhere else, and he's back in Kansas City.
Yeah.
They're better off.
I mean,
if you take those scramble yards out, you got Kareem Hunt got eight carries for 31 yards, along of 11.
isaiah pacheco 10 carries 22 yards
10 carries 22 yards
running hard going nowhere
it's got it's kind of like man
he basically running the place
man i've been i've been running but you're running the place you ain't went nowhere
yeah
they're gonna be all right on i mean listen that's the that's the one team
I will always have a chance, no matter what I have surrounding me, because what I lack offensively, the quarterback I have can overcome it.
This was a bad game today, but as the season goes on, they make adjustments.
It's the same conversation we had with the Chiefs at the beginning of the season last year.
All the goddamn drops.
We ain't got nobody to throw to.
Kelsey can't get open.
He's not the same Kelsey was, you know, back a few years ago.
But again, for some reason, you know what they ended up last year?
And it got damn.
Let me ask you a question.
Do you think Buffalo is better
this year than it were last year you like the way josh allen is playing right now yes or no
absolutely what about baltimore you think they're better than what they were last year what about the charges are they better than what they were last year
they are the most motherfucking
they are the most improved as a matter of fact speaking of the charges i'm still i'm still in vegas i ain't even home so i'm i'm i'm going to the game i'm going to the game tomorrow okay
no i don't i do not
i don't been i got two i got no i don't been outside it's time for me to come in.
But I got two tickets for us.
Take your people.
Nah, it was a surprise for you.
I'm good.
I got to stay here and prep.
But
we could prep at the same time and watch the game.
We could talk about the game and take notes.
And what are we going to talk about when we do nightcap?
Yeah.
No.
I absolutely do not want to go to the game.
Well, okay.
But
CJ,
CJ said, man,
he told Jalen Hurts, you don't even have 100 yards.
Hurts said, we won the effing game.
Now, shut your.
Yeah, shut up.
And that's the ultimate thing.
Scoreboard.
Yeah, at the end of the day.
But, um, how long can they play like this, huh?
How long can you, how long can you play going for Levi?
They did it last year.
You just told, you just told me about the catch.
Oh, yeah, I said, I said it, but I'm just asking you, how long are you going to be able to do that this year?
This is a new year.
When you come against a team that's an offensive juggernaut, that can actually run the ball, that can actually throw the ball, that can actually play a little better defense than what the Chiefs played today.
What happened to you coming up?
The Chiefs didn't play that bad.
I mean, what did they give up?
Well, not that bad.
They didn't play well.
Ocho, think about it.
They gave up 122 yards rushing on 34 carries.
They gave up 101 passing yards on 22 attempts.
So they gave up.
They gave up
6, 116.
They gave up 216 total yards.
If you give up 216 total yards, you're supposed to win.
If your defense gets a poll to oppose an offense to 216 yards,
and they have points because they scored off Kelsey Bob of the ball, and they got a pick
in the end zone.
Yeah.
And kudos to the left tackle, Simmons, the number one draft pick, because you went got it.
Hey, you saw him.
I did
absolutely saw it.
He was moving, boy, to be that
big, man.
Yes.
But they got to get better.
Oh, Joe, they got a bunch of fast guys, but
they don't have anybody that can consistently get down the field and catch the ball.
Hollywood, I mean,
those guys are so.
The thing is about Hollywood Brown is that wherever he catches it, that's where they're going to tackle him at.
He ain't bringing no tackles.
Yeah.
But you got to think, everybody don't have a Jamar Chase.
Everybody don't have a Justin Jefferson.
Like, that's not, that hasn't been the makeup of their team offensively since tyreek left no it hasn't
rashed rice was coming in his own you could tell he's gonna be a player oh yeah he was that boy Xavier word that you saw him get get better and better and better yes so those were the guys that they were counting on look the chiefs knew that some kind of punishment was coming to Rasheed Rice.
The report said they wanted to suspend him for the whole year.
He wasn't going for that.
They settled on six games.
So the Chiefs knew something was coming.
They didn't expect Xavier Worth.
They didn't expect their own guy to run into Xavier Worthy and dislocate his shoulder.
They weren't expecting that.
Look,
Taekwondo, look, I didn't know anything about him, but he goes to the combine, he runs 4-2-7.
You're going to get everybody's undivided attention.
You run that fast
at that height, you're going to get people's attention.
And that's what he did.
Yeah.
Juju is, look, he can make tough contestants, catch him, Ocho, but he ain't going.
Ocho, he ain't going nowhere in a hurry.
He's never been a speed merchant.
Right.
But you got to think about it, huh?
This all comes down to the office of coordinator.
It's all about understanding the players you have and putting the players that you have in positions to make plays based on their strengths.
You have a coordinator.
What about their strengths?
How many shallow calls do you want me to run, Ocho?
I mean, hey, listen, that's what they do.
That's what you got to do.
But guess what, Ocho?
And because you don't have nobody that's great, run after the catch.
So guess what?
Wherever they catch the ball, that's where they tackle that.
In order to run shallows and all that pig stuff, you need guys that can run after catch.
You need guys that can break tackles, don't you?
But I know one thing:
you keep moving the chains, you keep moving the chains.
If you don't have some, oh, wait a minute.
Oh, whoa, whoa, let's think about this.
Let's think about the Patriots.
Think about the Patriots.
They had no speed merchants, but it was shallows, underneath, crosses, middle, middle of that.
I'm talking about not the Moss Patriots.
I'm talking about the edelman the grones
you know i mean crossing crossing better than
is better than any receiver that they got right now on the chiefs
yeah yeah absolutely i'm not gonna i'm not comparing i'm just saying the route i'm talking about the scheme and the route conference yes yes that was their thing and then they attacked you but in order to consistently run those you got to stay on you you can't get behind the chains and a lot of times the chiefs will fall behind the chains they'll get stuck at second and 10 they'll get second and 12 they'll get a holding call right so now all of a sudden they don't care if you run a shallow cross they're just gonna tackle you and get off the field
yeah and you got to have some type of running game yes you got you got to have some type of running game to keep the defense honest
some type of running game to keep the defense honest but the good thing for the chiefs is they're not playing the eagles every goddamn week They're not playing the Eagles every goddamn week.
So other games are going to look much better than what they did.
You got to realize, Ocho, we saw the Chargers do this to them.
That's the thing.
I mean, at some point in time, I can only scheme so much.
When you start giving me gizzards and livers and lice,
I can only make a dish.
I can only make so much out of it, Ocho.
At some point in time, if you want better dishes, you're going to have to give me better ingredients.
And right now, this is the ingredients that I have, and I can only do so much with it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And
it's so funny.
We, we, we had these conversations about the Chiefs and their struggles at the beginning of the season, whether it's the offensive line, whether it's the receivers getting open, whether it's receivers dropping the ball.
And in this case, now,
some of their best players that you expect to step up to the plate with the
absence of worthy, with the absence of Rashid Rice, and they're messing up, the ones that you think you can count on.
And hey, they got to go back to the drawing board.
they got to go back
the thing is ocho is that when you're struggling offensively the one thing that you can't do is what turn the ball over turn the ball over yeah you you you're about to get points because think about ocho there was a stretch there early in mahomes career you like 17 points he getting that in the first half you're talking about for a game
easy oh he gonna get bored of that and think about it yeah how late it was when they got that 17 because of the longest time they had 10.
and here we are with with three minutes left in the game they got 10 points
so we're not used to seeing them struggle offensively like they're struggling to make matters worse is that they turn the ball over and they don't need to turn it over four or five times because you're already struggling one turnover could possibly doom you when you can only put up 17 points
points yeah yeah the defense i mean the defense held that team to like hold it held that team to 20 points
after they get excuse me after they gave up what they gave up in the super bowl they had them they held them to it was 10 10 at the half they gave up three in the third and both of them scored seven in the fourth
you can't damn it's it's it's it's look they're in a very tough spot
because of of the absence of rashi rice and xavier worthy but ain't nobody feeling sorry for the chiefs
Nah, they don't feel sorry for them because they have problems every year.
We talk about their struggles.
We talk about their issues on offense, on defense, office line.
We talk about the receivers, the tight ends, and for some goddamn reason, now watch they end up back in goddamn San Francisco come week one and fifteen.
I don't feel as confident as I did that bud beating uh Canelo.
So if you ask me to put some money down, I ain't doing that.
And if they do, if they do end up there,
bless them.
But I ain't putting no money that means something to me.
All right, Ocho, we just mentioned that the Atlanta Falcons run their record to 500, one and one.
Thanks to going on the road and winning 22-6.
They shook off a very disappointing loss.
They switched kickers out.
They brought a new kicker in.
He was 5 of 5 and a PAT.
So there's a great chance he's going to be special teams player of the week, but might be the guy from Dallas who kicked a 64-yarder to get it in the overtime and then the game-winning field goal.
So he might, you know, I'm sorry, Romo.
I thought you might get it, but you're probably not.
Aubrey?
Aubrey is probably going to get it.
But the Falcons used, Ocho, an outstanding running game, and they hounded McCarthy.
They got after five sacks in the first half, six total for the game.
They picked him off twice, forced the fumble once.
So anytime you can hound the quarterback six times, pressure them numerous other times, and turn him over three times, you're probably going to win that game.
What did you like about what you saw from the Falcons?
Listen, what I like from the the falcons i'm not even going to talk about the running game and what they did offensively the beginning of the game i really really enjoyed penix and the chemistry him and kyle pitts have gotten going it was a mismatch they put kyle pitts in different positions in different places where the mismatches were had him out wide at wide receiver had him in the slot had him at the tight end position but defensively is where they made their hey obviously they did what they did on offense with the running game but obviously it was it was somewhat i don't want to say of a snooze festunk but they got in the red zone but they couldn't score most of the time they couldn't couldn't score.
Most of the time, field goals will get you beat.
But the fact that they played defense so well and the goddamn Vikings couldn't get anything going offensively, let alone get in the red zone to score points.
They only kick field goals as well.
That's why they won.
That's where they won the game in the year.
Yeah, six points.
But Atlanta's defense was outstanding.
We haven't seen, look, Atlanta's been really
bad, Ocho, over the last five or six years at rushing the quarterback.
And they made a concerted effort.
They drafted early.
They got Walker.
They traded back in the first round, got Pierce.
They brought in Leonard Floyd, who was with Raheem when he was at the Rams.
So therefore, he's very familiar with Leonard Floyd, and they attacked the quarterback.
In order for you to win, your defense has to pressure the quarterback.
You cannot leave him back there and let him have all day to pat the football.
The Falcons did an outstanding job, and this is what they needed.
They've needed pass rush for a very, very long time.
I think they say they finished last in the last five years.
They've been last, has the least amount of sacks, and nobody's within 30 of them.
so and if oh
i was going to say the the the one thing i like about the defensive coordinator for the atlanta falcons that last name is old bridge yeah
they don't have a tk wide they don't have a miles garrett but collectively but collectively as a group running stunts stamp different things with the with uh with the defensive line with the linebackers and and adding pressure against you you're going against a rookie quarterback even though he's in his second year this is his first year of stars but you're throwing stuff at him that's confusing him because that's the one thing you want to do to a young quarterback.
You want to put pressure on him, confuse him, force him to process information a little faster than you can, and you get what you saw tonight: interceptions, fumbles.
You get stuff like that.
So
they play really well.
And
I'm excited for the Falcons.
Obviously, Pennington Jr.
now being the starter.
And
the future is bright for Atlanta right now.
I don't know why to keep the camera on Kirk Cousins.
Kirk Cousins, I don't know why to keep showing on Kirk Cousins.
He ain't going in.
And nothing was wrong with Pennix.
I don't know why y'all, ain't nobody feeling no sympathy for him.
Hell,
as he done backed up to Brink's truck.
And
speaking of Brink's truck,
do you know how much Kirk Cousins has made in his career?
I absolutely do.
You know how much?
I don't think people understand.
Hey, he, listen, he's a child of God and God has blessed him.
because his cup runneth over
yeah so ain't nobody feeling so ain't nobody feeling sorry for kirk cousins he's standing standing on the sideline like man coach put me in no bro that's over that's your sale sit there draw your 30 million dollars and be quiet um
yeah for sure yeah they gave him 100 million guaranteed
50 million dollar signing bonus he got it so he got more money coming um but i i really i really really love what i saw from the falcons their pass rush if they can keep this going bijan robinson aligier running the football game
Shadur calling me.
Shadur who
it's on Shadur.
Hold on.
What's up, boy?
Nothing sitting here on the show.
What's good?
Yeah, we live right now.
What's good?
Talk to me.
Ask me if you want to come on,
huh?
I mean, yeah, I mean, you, yeah, you only.
I mean, they could hit me talking, and I said
it was you, but they can't hit, they can't hear what you're saying.
Why you need me?
Atlanta's defense had six sacks.
Harrison, one and a half.
Doris, one and a half.
Pierce Jr., half a sack.
Leonard Ford sacked.
I ain't see it.
I ain't see it.
I ain't see it.
So
Atlanta got after JJ McCarthy comes back down to reality after he played so well the opening week.
I think he, if I'm not mistaken, I think he was offensive player of the week in the NFC.
Had an outstanding game, spotted the Chicago Bears 17-6, and then they scored 21 unanswered points to take a 27-17 lead.
And next thing you know, they end up holding on and winning.
JJ played really well, but that's just the ups and downs that you're going to have as a rookie quarterback.
You shouldn't expect him to be
even kill,
especially really.
He's not a rookie, but as Ocho said, it's his first year starting.
He's a second-year player, but this is his first year starting.
But
Falcons look good.
Vikings back to the drawing board.
Falcons run their record to one-in-one with a 22-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings thanks to a great running by
hold on
Bijan Robinson 22 carries a buck 43 Algiera had 16 rushes 76 yards 39 rushes 218 yards Pennix Jr.
was 13 to 21 135 three sacks but they win this ball game 22 to 6 Hey, I have a question for you.
I'm curious how you feel about it.
Chat,
you can chime into it and let me know.
When we talk about the tier, the tier one running backs in the NFL, your King Henry's, your Christian McCaffreys.
I think Jonathan Taylor would be in that conversation as well.
Saquon.
Is it time we put, yeah, Saquon, excuse me, I'm sorry.
Is it time we put Bijan Robinson in that conversation as a tier one running back, or is he not there yet?
Is he on the fringe of being tier one?
I'm just curious.
What do you think?
Yeah, he got a...
He got he,
I mean, I need to see another year.
I need to see some awards.
I think I need to see an all-pro or something.
Yeah.
Right.
Because all those guys, I mean, you look at King Henry has basically been doing this since he's got into the league.
Saquon was offensive rookie of the year.
He had another thousand, had an outstanding season.
He got injured.
Now he went to the
Eagles, offensive player of the year.
So Christian McCaffrey's been offensive player of the year.
He's been a multiple-time Pro Bowler.
Royce, 4,000, received 4,000.
I think Bijan is on the cusp.
He would be my next back
to, if you're looking at Jonathan Taylor, you look at, as you mentioned, King Henry, Saquon, and
we can't forget Gibbs and Montgomery.
They're coming.
They're coming.
They're coming.
Okay.
It all depends
because Gibbs and Montgomery don't get the workload that those other guys get.
They spit a lot of the carries.
King Henry gets the lion's share of the carriage.
Saquon gets the lion's share of the carries.
Christian McCaffrey gets the lion's share of the carries.
If you notice, Robinson had 22 rushes, but Algier had 16.
So they do a great job and
you can preserve your backs and they'll be fresher longer when they don't take the lion's share of the carries.
But yeah, they're right there.
I mean, look, you can put Josh Jacobs in that group.
There are some guys
that are right there, Ojo.
That are right there.
Aaron Jones.
Yeah, okay.

So what do this animal
and this animal
and this animal
have in common?
They all live on an organic valley farm.
Organic valley dairy comes from small organic family farms that protect the land and the plants and animals that live on it from toxic pesticides, which leads to a thriving ecosystem and delicious, nutritious milk and cheese.

These days, through its Michelin in motion motion vision, the company is expanding into healthcare, energy, and even aerospace.

Michelin, motion for life.
The Ravens beat the Browns by the score of 41-17.
Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Oy
told the Ravens, told reporters that the Baltimore defense had a team dinner meeting in order to get Beyond's last week fourth quarter collapse.
It worked.
The Ravens are now 13 and 2 following losses since 2022.
It was a 10-3 half at the half.
Miles Garrett said after the game, I mean, this ish is embarrassing.
We've got to be better on defense.
We've got to be better as a team.
They slowly chipped away, and we did a solid job holding them to three when we could.
But then eventually the dam broke and we just whatever they wanted.
And we have to continue to play for 60 minutes.
Kevin Stefanski said after the game
that he won't consider a QB change.
Hey, Miles,
enjoy that $160 million.
Because this is what it's going to be like in your future.
Until you get a quarterback,
this is what you're going to be resigned to.
Now,
look,
maybe, you know,
getting a million, a couple of
$2 million a month every game check, Ocho.
Before taxes,
maybe that lessens it some.
This is your fate.
This is your fate.
This is how, oh, let's be real.
This is what this is.
This is what's going to happen in Cleveland.
Unless something miraculously happens, we do know that Joe Flacco can go on the run offensively.
It's over, Ocho.
It's over.
You watched him today.
It's over.
Oh, yeah, today.
But you got to understand who they're playing against now.
You're playing against a divisional opponent that knows you.
Let me ask you a question.
What you like to do?
When he was in Cleveland the first time, why didn't they keep him if he was the guy?
He went to Indy.
Why didn't they keep him if he was the guy?
He went to the gym.
Why didn't they keep him if he was the guy?
You know why.
I'm not, I'm not saying he's the guy.
I'm not saying he's the guy, but it's what you had to deal with right now.
And they definitely don't want to, they definitely don't want to make a move that early.
The quarterback number two, because basically, what you're telling your team is we're waving the white flag and we're throwing it all in, and we're going to worry about starting our future right now.
I ain't got a flag, I got a sheet, I got anything that's white.
And I'm waving it.
It's week two.
You can't wave the tile to maybe week five, week six, and stuff still ain't going well.
You said it yourself.
What week you said they were going to switch quarterbacks?
Oh, but the Giants eight.
Oh, you said the Giants.
Well, hell.
Oh, Cleveland.
Cleveland's going to be much older than that.
Week six, week six, week six, if anything.
Well,
week six.
I can just imagine how Cleveland receivers feeling.
It's tough to continuously run routes, try to get open, and you're like,
I give, I give
Cleveland's rush defense 21 rushes, 45 yards, but Lamar had 19 or 29 for 225 and four tubs passing.
He did.
They did say they were going to stop Derrick Henry, did they?
Dale Pitt did.
Grant Dale Pitt did say it's not hard to tackle Derrick Henry.
They did a good job on Derrick Henry.
Not everybody, everywhere else, through the L?
Zay Flowers had seven for 75.
D.
Hawk was two for 64, a touchdown.
Walker, two for 26, two touchdowns.
Wallace, two for 25, a touchdown.
Oh, man, Roquan Smith had himself a day.
15 total tackles and a fumble return for a touchdown.
They got up to the quarterback.
They got up to Flacco.
Well, look, Flacco is a statue.
He can't move, huh?
He never could.
That ain't never been that minus forte.
No, but you, I was special teams.
I was.
That's how I made the team.
That's where I started.
I cut my teeth on the special teams.
But 267 didn't go in as a special teams player.
You would have checked my resume.
Stop playing with me.
Talk to him, huh?
let him know 267 there've been 30 000 men that played this game coach this game yeah own team been a general manager 30 000 come on now i don't know what i don't know i don't know what no i don't know what 267 what percent of 30 000 is
but they're less than 400 men that got a gold jacket yeah of 30 000 i can tell you what
I can tell you what that percentage is.
You know, I was a math major.
2.2%.
2.2%.
Look.
Yeah.
I just,
it's just, Ocho is tough.
And I just, I feel bad for the Browns fans because the one thing I know having played in Cleveland, no matter how bad they sucked, those fans still came and sold out.
Now, a lot of times they might have had bags on their head and they might have booed when things weren't going well.
But they out there tailgating, knowing that their team go get the brakes beat off them.
But they show up.
They look, man.
Every time.
If any, like, you know, like certain fan bases, Ocho, just one time.
yeah
if cleveland get an opportunity say man we went to the super bowl i know you everybody wants to win but for those some of those fans to get an opportunity to see
man like i said browns got some loyal ass fans
and i played them when i was in denver and i went when they was at oh when they was at old cleveland and i played them at baltimore obviously
They love it, Browns, man.
They love the Browns.
But
ain't got no quarterback ain't got no quarterback i don't care i don't care how good your defense is not in today's game yeah i know everybody say what y'all did yeah with the ravens in 2000 it's 2025 that's damn near quarter century ago nobody's playing football like they played a quarter century ago
absolutely not the rules the rules don't permit it and guess what you're paying a quarterback all that money you're not gonna pay him to turn around and hand the ball off
it's look,
they're going to have to find a quarterback.
They thought they had a quarterback with Jay, uh, uh, uh, with Deshaun, for whatever reason, it didn't work out.
He's been injured, he uh, shoulder injury, got a McKeely's injury, and it seems like he's working his way back.
I don't know if he's going to come back this year.
Uh, uh, uh, we'll see,
but Ocho, without a quarterback, Ocho, they're not going to do nothing,
and you don't have a chance, I don't care, and this ain't you need 10 miles, Gary.
Yeah, it ain't even, it ain't even about the Browns.
That goes for 80.
Until you figure out your quarterback position, you're not going to have any type of success.
Now, you could have flashes of brilliance.
You could have success maybe for a game, maybe two.
Why keep turning it over?
But it's all about being consistent, week in and week out, and having a chance at winning each week.
Right now, they just don't have that.
They don't have it.
But
they're going to have games where they go out there and win.
They're going to have games where they go out there and flack are going to throw for 300, 3 TD.
We're going to have games like that at some point this season.
I guarantee you that.
That's just the way the Florida game works just in general.
Well,
they must be going to have one of them games on playing on a Tuesday or a Friday.
And
we don't have Night Capital on those days.
But Kevin Stefanski said after the game that he won't consider quarterback change for week three.
Before the game, Adam Shepherd dropped a bomb.
The Ravens were planning to draft Shadur Sanders in the fifth round with the 141st pick.
But before the Ravens could turn the card in, Shadur let it be known to Baltimore that he didn't want to
be on the roster with Lamar, where he wouldn't have a chance to play anytime soon.
Shadur did not want to be drafted by Baltimore and preferred to end up in a place where he might have a better chance to play sooner.
The Ravens instead drafted an offensive lineman, Carson Vinson, with the 141st pick.
I'm going to go ahead.
Shadur was asked about it after the game.
My response is I'm focused on the now.
I don't really talk about anything in the past and whatever happened in the past.
It is what it is.
I'm more focused on the now.
I'm more focused on how the game that we just gonna had and figuring out how to move forward from now.
You wouldn't even believe my memory don't even go back that far.
So, yeah, I don't even remember anything post-draft.
I remember I'm here, I go to practice every day, and it's a 24-hour rule.
It serves no purpose in my life.
Yeah, hey, we don't even have that kind of power coming into a draft, though.
As a player, you saying where you don't want to go, you don't have that kind of power.
Well, I you don't.
Let me tell you something about the Ravens.
I don't know Shadura's situation.
The Ravens,
I can only speak to what I know.
I know Ozzie, I know DaCosta,
and I know the owner, Steve Bashoti.
Yes, sir.
When T.O.
was supposed to go to the Ravens and he said he didn't want to go,
he said he named
him.
We obliged him.
Yeah.
They said, you know what?
Don't worry about it.
Boom, boom, boom.
The NFL and them they worked out some type of agreement.
T.O.
ended up in Philly.
If he said this,
they would have obliged him.
Yeah, but I doubt it, though.
I doubt it.
You know what?
I would like to say more, but unfortunately, I think we should move on from this.
Yeah,
it serves no purpose.
I'll leave it at that.
It served no purpose.
I'll leave it at that.
The earlier game, the Bucs beat the Texans 2019 for the second straight week.
Baker Mayfield engineered a fourth quarter drive to win the game.
Trailing by five points with barely more than two minutes left to play.
Baker led a Bucs on an 11-play 80-yard drive.
Last week, Baker engineered a late-road win with a touchdown pass to a Mecca Bukuka to beat the Falcons.
Ocho,
Tampa.
Hey, Tampa looking good, huh?
Tampa looking real good.
They look very good.
Listen, you know who else we had on the show?
Oh, Levante David, and look what happened.
He dropped that interception, though.
He knows he's supposed to get to the house.
The dude, I'd be CJ hit it dead in his dead in his hands.
He played he's on defense for a reason, but it shows ain't for him being able to catch.
Uh, but you know what I like about the uh, the Bucks, Ocho?
They can run the football.
Hey, that guy, uh, uh, right and Bucky Earth.
I see, I've seen Bucky,
he broke off to the right side.
I see him hit that Peter Warwick dead leg on somebody.
I'm like, wait a minute.
Okay.
Saucy like that.
Baker, 25 of 38, 215, two touchdowns.
They pressured him for, but on fourth down, Ocho, they had him dead to right.
And he got up out of there, picked up a big first down.
You can't run by him to a lower.
I think that's the
to a lolo.
Toto,
He's from the University of Alabama, the linebacker.
He runs by him.
Got him dead to right.
They got the perfect play call.
They got the perfect blitz call.
They crashed him and he ran by him.
Baker jumps out, jumps out the wedding.
It's so funny.
And when you think about quarterbacks that are dual threats, you don't really view Baker as a Josh Allen or view him as a Lamar Jackson, but he can hurt you.
If you're not disciplined, if you don't come into control, if you don't come to balance, when you have him dead to right, like you said, and you just aggressively just try to make the tackle, you'll do exactly that.
Come right out the back door.
He had 33 yards rushing.
Bucky Irving had 17 for 71.
Rashad White has 10 for 65.
Baker had three for 33.
30 rush attempts, 169 yards, 25 of 38, 215, two touchdowns.
He did get sacked four times, but
they took care of of the ball and uh they got pressure on CJ Stroud.
CJ's got to make some of those throws that he that he missed, oh Joe.
He's got to make some of those.
You got to make some of those.
It is what it is.
You got to make them.
Um
you got to get the ocho.
You can't kick your beat.
You'll have to get you beat every time, huh?
At that point,
you got to score touchdowns.
You got to score touchdowns.
You got
you do.
And what did Mike?
What did Mike Evans finish with?
Mike Evans had five catches, 56 yards on 11 targets.
Look, you know, had Stingley chase you had him, Stingley follow him around all day.
That was nice.
Stingley did a really good job.
Stingley did a really good job tonight, obviously showing why he's one of the top corners in the NFL.
And he traveled
with Mike Evans the entirety of the game.
The entirety of the game.
I had to leave in the, I think maybe
the end of the third just to get over to the raiding game so I didn't have to fight no traffic.
So I missed the back end of the back end of the game to get to the raid.
No, I mean, look,
that's what you pay Stingy the big bucks.
He's one of the better corners.
And you say, okay, look, we're going to play, we're going to take you, take him, and then we'll play coverage everywhere else.
It gives you an opportunity to free up some things.
That's what you, when you have one of those guys, it allows you to be really exotic defensively because you feel you got a guy that can shut down their best receiver.
Much more defensively.
When you have a play like that, you can focus a defensive coordinator can focus elsewhere and do other things and expand the playbook defense because you know what i ain't got to worry about this side so i could do other things with everybody else to confuse the quarterbacks
yeah and and and all the great ones been able to do that when you know rod woods whatever that is they pick the steelers and prime and the nias and daryl green and uh charles woodson uh revers when you got those top guys you can get really exotic defensively because you know they're going to be able to more time than not look those great receivers They go they get paid too now.
They're gonna win some but more times than not you feel your guy's gonna be able to hold his own and so we now we can take somebody You know, we can double, you know, take somebody else away.
We can bring an extra guy because we feel we got a guy that can hold up where you really want to go with the football.
But I thought Tampa looked good.
Look,
we think it's, you know, Tampa is the class of the NFC South with a little, with a little, maybe a little scare from Atlanta, but we don't think the Saints and Carolina is going to put up much resistance.
So we look at it as a two-horse race between the Falcons and Tampa Bay.
I don't think we're going to, you know, there's a whole lot of light.
Nah, man, don't, hey, it's only two weeks into the season.
I noticed, I ain't heard nobody in Carolina say, oh, it's only two weeks in the season.
I ain't heard nobody from New Orleans.
It's only two weeks in the season.
You know, you know what it is.
It is what it is.
But Baker has been playing.
Look, Baker has a home.
He has people that believe in him.
He has an organization that wants him.
They let him lead in the way he knows how to lead.
They let him be him.
The problem sometimes with organizations, though, Joe, well, this is the way Tom did it.
He's not Tom.
Well, this is the way such and such did it.
Well, he's not that.
You have to let a person be who he is.
That's the one thing I can honestly say about the Ravens.
You have your own identity.
Just play like a Raven.
Whatever you do, if you want to be quiet, be quiet.
You want to be boisterous?
Be boisterous.
You want to joke and be whoever.
They don't try to make you confined to anything.
All they ask you is to play hard.
That's it.
That's it.
And I think the thing is, look,
he was not going to the Rams.
Once a colour man won the Super Bowl, they were not going to place Matthew Stafford with Baker Mayfield.
So let's just say that the Cleveland and the Carolina situation didn't work out.
He got hurt.
He tried to play through it.
It didn't work out.
You know, you hear stories.
They wanted a grown-up in the room.
Okay, whatever the case may be.
Carolina, ain't nobody winning with Carolina until you get more talent around them.
And so he went somewhere.
They had talent.
They had Mike Evans.
They got Chris Godwin.
They did a great job, a light.
Jason Light has done a great job of drafting Bucky Irving, did a great job of white.
He did a great job of drafting some of those guys.
And so now you see the fruits of it.
It's like, okay, they still got a good team.
There was a little drop off.
Obviously, you don't have the Super Bowl expectations that you have.
They do, but from the outside, you don't have the same expectations that you have with Tom Brady.
Tom Brady automatically comes with Super Bowl expectations.
He's Tom Brady.
But Tampa,
hey,
Tampa going to beat.
Hey, Tampa's going to have something to say about it now.
Because defensively, they can get after you.
They can get after you.
They do a great job.
Todd Bowles do a great job of dialing up different
schemes.
He can pressure you when he needs to.
Vita Veil do a great job of stopping the run,
but they can pressure your quarterback.
So it's going to be very interesting to see how this thing shapes up.
Let's see when we get by the week eight, week 10 of Joe.
We're going to start seeing some things like, okay.
Because I think Green Bland is going to be a major player here.
I think Green Bland is going to be a major player when it's all said and done.
I don't think the Eagles, look, the Eagles got to get their passing game going.
It's going to happen, O choice.
It's taking some time.
The funny thing about it is it's taking some time, but they haven't played an offense just yet.
That's a juggernaut.
They could put them under the gun.
They put them under the gun and force them into doing something else outside of what they already do.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I agree with you.
Somebody's going to have to put some points on the board, and they don't have no choice but to throw it.
Now you got to find a way to try to get the ball to AJ.
Excuse me, get the ball to AJ.
You're going to have to find a way to get the ball to Devontae.
You're going to have to find a way to get the ball to Dotsa.
And right now, nobody's made them do that.
They throw the ball on their terms.
And then they get it in short, you know,
second and short, a third and short, a fourth and short.
And then you get to the touch push.
But if you're going to let them jump the count, because the guards are moving, people are moving before the city.
You saw some motion of that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, I've seen it in real time.
And it's the same thing with the offensive tackles.
You remember there was a push?
Hey, we want you to cause the count because guys were jumping.
I mean, how many times did they call the Kansas City right tackle, Jawan?
How many times did they call him?
Bro, he was jumping damn near every time.
They cracked down on it.
They're going to have to crack down because if you let the guards move and can root people out before the center snaps the ball, well, you've created an even bigger advantage.
It used to be you couldn't aid the runner, you couldn't push him, but they say now you can.
And they're going to jump the snap count and you're going to let them aid the runner.
I don't know how you stop that.
That's so funny.
I'm not sure if the refs could even see it
in real time.
In real time.
Because the timing of it, when you slow it down, obviously, yes, we can see it at home when you play it back in slow motion.
But in real time,
I don't think the refs can tell.
the chargers beat the uh vegas raiders 20 to 9.
justin herbert was 19 of 27 242 yards two touchdowns no turnovers uh unless they gave that last fumble that they fumbled but i don't think oh they give it they did give it to him they gave him two he lost one um
but they did a great job geno smith was texas toast tonight Whew, he was terrible.
Geno was bad tonight, but they did a great job of pressuring him.
Ocho, They didn't let him set his feet.
And
when he had time, Ocho, he overshot some guys.
He missed some throws that I'm sure he's going to look at film tomorrow and wish he had back.
But that's the game of football that we play.
Quentin Johnson gas three for 71 on a touchdown.
Cheen Allen was five of 61 for a touchdown.
And Lad McConkie was doing what he normally does is move the chains.
And so the Chargers look really good.
Now, there was a big blow.
It looked like a bicep injury to Khalil Mack.
He left early.
He had it in a sling, Ocho, but if you notice, his bicep was wrapped.
So that's what makes me think it's a bicep injury, but I'm not sure.
I don't know if they reported because obviously, chat, you guys know I don't listen to the sound.
So if somebody want to jump in the chat and said what it is,
what they reported, I don't know if they reported.
They probably said he left the game and was not going to return.
But it makes me think that it's a bicep injury because it was in a sling and he had his bicep wrapped.
But Ocho, you're watching this game and you look at the Chargers, the way they're throwing the football and the way they can get up the opposing team's quarterback.
What are you liking about what you're seeing about the chart?
What are you doing about the Chargers?
Obviously, offensively, they do what they do offensively.
Justin Herbert looked like Justin Herbert, especially picking up where he left off from week one.
But the Chargers defense,
the Chargers' defense was all over the place.
Geno Smith time to be able to set in the pocket defensively.
They played very well on the back end.
They look really, really good as well.
I'm excited.
I'm excited for the AFC West to see what the Chargers do.
Not now, early in the season.
We're only in week two.
I want to see if they can do this in December when it really counts.
They can do this in January when it really counts, where it matters most.
All the moments that they're having right now, Justin Herbert playing really well.
I'm glad to see the resurgence of Quentin Johnson.
I'm glad to see young Bull finally playing well, playing with confidence, making plays.
He looks awesome.
So being able to see them in person tonight was awesome.
Geno Smith, again,
having a broken life, really not having the time in the pocket to be able to throw the ball.
Week one, they look really good.
They look phenomenal.
He threw the ball all over the place.
Tonight, not so well.
Yeah, I mean, 24.
Well, neither team really could run the football, Ocho.
That's the only thing that I like, okay.
At some point in time, Chargers, you're going to have to run the football to alleviate some pressure on Justin Herbert.
You just can't just let them tee off.
But because the Raiders really couldn't run the football, they just teed off.
They were just teeing off on
gino but gino made some poor throws i mean that one he threw down the middle lake come on ocho you see you see uh uh what's three name i can't forget derwin james derwin james yeah derwin james you see him running he running with him why would you throw that
why why would you throw that he i mean he put he threw that was twice he threw one of the double coverage earlier and it got and it got picked but he didn't play well tonight but i'm not breaking chad i'm not breaking any news for you guys.
You know, you watch the game.
You know, Geno did not play well tonight.
He played really well, as Ocha said.
He played really well opening week on the road in Falksboro against the Patriots, 362 yards.
But tonight, oh, he was some slow.
He was some slaughter.
It's very difficult too.
When you have a week one performance like that,
it's hard to string them back to back to back to back together like that.
It's really hard to string them back together like that back to back, especially when you play a great defense like the Chargers.
That guy, yeah, Henley,
he's gonna want to come back
because he taught us.
Look at he had 12, he had 10 tackles, seven solo, a sack, and two tackles of losses.
Hey, hey,
if you want to dial in, you want to talk to right quick, you know, the line open for you anytime, bro.
Tremendous game tonight.
He was all over the place, Don.
He was,
he was hunting.
Uh, Aston Jennings finding out what it's like.
It's a different ball game.
Listen, let me tell you something.
Let me tell you something.
All those runs, all those runs that's supposed to be between the A and the B gap, and trying to bounce them out and think you're going to outrun people.
Uh-uh.
But that's not happening.
You better hit that.
No.
Do everything you can
and hope and hope you get to the second level.
Take that two or three game, or it's going to turn into a one or two loss.
Because you bounce that.
Listen, everybody is just as fast, if not faster, if not stronger.
Think about it.
Nightcap effect.
We had Henley on.
Look what he did.
We had Bud on.
Look what he did.
Melissa Jefferson.
She was on.
Look what she did.
Now, I don't.
Hey, I'm just saying, that's just three.
Now, if you want, if you want something to be,
we had
Ryan Koogloom.
Look at what's been on.
Look at the numbers.
I'm just saying.
Hey, it's not a coincidence.
It's common sense.
No.
It It ain't a coincidence.
It's common sense.
That's all.
That's all.
Too many occurrences is not a coincidence.
Y'all see what it is?
Y'all see exactly what it is.
But like I said, I like what I'm seeing from the Chargers.
Justin Herbert.
Look, the one thing we know about Jim Harbot, you can say what you want to say about him.
He can coach his ass off.
It gets progressively better.
And then normally there's a little tapering off.
You go back and look at what he did at stanford bill bill bill boom he goes to san francisco bill bill bill and then you know uh loses quarterback and things start to happen you know they fire him and they had a budding the uh the front office and gym whatever the case may be he can coach
every team that he's ever coached has gotten better once he's arrived You go back and look at San Diego, you look at Stanford,
you look at the 49ers, you look at Michigan.
They hadn't won a championship, I don't know, maybe since 48.
gerald ford might have been excuse me president ford might have been on the roster by the time i mean as great as we think of coach jim beckler he didn't win a national championship oh let me take that back they won in 97 the 97 team with brian greasy they did win so
but we think of michigan we think about man they get just loaded with those championship no it had been over 20 years since they had won a championship And
Jim, and, you know, people were calling for his head.
Old khaki pants wasn't getting it done, Ocho.
Started off a bottle, and then he was just losing and losing but he stayed afloat by kicking the ohio state's ass so you know you can buy yourself some time if you beat your rival your biggest rival it's kind of like auburn and alabama you one beats the other it'll buy you a little time absolutely um but harbaugh can coach and he has a quarterback that can make every throw on the field but eventually they're gonna have to run the football i do not believe that you can just become reliant on the passing game that that that would be the one to knock the one knock even if they won the game tonight, they have to be able to establish run at some point to make things easier and take the pressure off of Justin Herbert.
So he doesn't have to throw the ball.
Keep the defense and whoever they're playing, you got to be able to keep them honest.
No fumble, too.
No fumble.
Was that Amarion Hampton fumble tonight?
Yeah.
Yes.
You got to hold on to that.
And then on fourth down.
I don't even know if they called that a fumble, Ocho, on fourth down, because it was going to, you know, you don't get as a change of possession anyway.
Because it was fourth down and they tried to do like a like a jet sweep and you know 12 took his eye off the ball and then the ball's on the ground something like that but if you look at them defensively had two three four five six they had six tackle for losses three sacks they did a great job getting after Gino they did a great job of collapsing the pocket corralling Austin Genty the Chargers yeah I don't think I'm going out on limb I think the Chargers are for real I think they're one of the three or four best teams in the AFC right now.
It's going to be very, very interesting how this thing, I know it's early Ocho.
It's only two weeks into the first
NFL season, but they look good.
They look really, really good.
And that quarterback,
he's what they've advertised.
And I understand that he's going to need to do it in the playoffs, in the big moments, because we saw him last year against the Texans, and he was horrible.
And we saw him have a 24-27-0 lead against Jacksonville, and they got walked.
So he has those two horrible L's on his resume, but
he's going to be in some big games.
With that coach, with that team, they're gonna be in some big games and it's gonna be up to him to to to carry his part and i think he's more than capable of doing that but i really love what i'm seeing from this defense it's it's gonna be interesting to see uh how this thing with khalil mac you know some people say do we have an idea what they said i thought it was something wrong with his elbow whenever elbow dislocated elbow stadium obviously it goes up on the jumbotron players out and then they tells you a description on on what it and what it was they they said elbow so i'm not sure
okay Left elbow, sublexation, dislocation.
Yeah, yeah, sublex dislocated.
Dislocated elbow?
I know the feeling.
Yeah, I dislocated my elbow.
I dislocated my right elbow.
It hurt like almost.
How long is that out?
I missed five weeks.
Well, no, let me take that back.
I missed, I heard it in the
beginning of the second quarter.
So I missed that game in four weeks.
So a month.
Okay.
Played with a brace
for the rest of the year.
That's how mine look.
Yep.
I, you know, tried to brace myself on the ground.
And somebody came from behind?
No, the ground.
And, you know,
I got it pinned.
I couldn't.
Yeah, I couldn't get it out.
It hurt.
Boy, it hurt like on Mofo.
But I think there'll be, I think, you know, the Chargers will be okay, but it's not something that's season ending.
He'll be back.
He'll have to play with a brace.
You know, JJ Watt played with a brace his whole career.
He dislocated.
Yeah, he dislocated his and played with a brace on for the rest of his career.
I couldn't, I mean, it's hard to catch when you are wired.
When you catch the ball, OJO, it's kind of hard to play with that thing.
I mean, I had to play because I played with it for the rest of the year and they didn't want anything to happen.
But I know once that season was over and I got into an offseason, I wasn't coming back with that thing on.
I know a lot of defensive linemen and some offensive linemen once they do it, because they're doing a lot of this.
You can only bend your arms so much.
Remember, Gronk played with one, too.
Yeah, yeah.
Yep.
So it's
congratulations, Chargers.
