They're live Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 11 a.m.

Speaker 23 Eastern. That's Debo and Joe.
Oh, Joe, the Chiefs beat the Lions 30-17 after the game. Cameras caught Brian Branch refusing to shake

Speaker 23 Patrick Mahomes' hand and then shoved Juju shoot

Speaker 23 Juju in the face. To start a brawl, Patrick Mahomes threw for 257 yards, three touchdowns, ran for another score.
Hollywood Brown had his best game as a Chief.

Speaker 23 Two touchdowns look more like Mahomes of old. The Chiefs' offense is starting to get back into gear and starting to look like the Chiefs' offense that we're used to seeing.

Speaker 23 When Patrick Mahomes basically started in, what, 2018, 2019, and ran that thing all the way until like 23, this is the offense that we expected to see.

Speaker 23 22 of 30, 257, three touchdowns. They ran the ball 29 times for 112 yards.
Really good. No turnovers.
It was a clean game from my homeboy.

Speaker 23 Ocho, looking at, we'll get into Detroit, talk about them in a minute. What did you like about what you saw from Knights?

Speaker 32 The fact that we've seen the early Chiefs that we all used to love. We're seeing the Chiefs that scored damn near 28, 30 points a game.
You had receivers, it was by committee.

Speaker 32 You never knew who night it was going to be.

Speaker 32 So obviously now when you play the Chiefs and you're going in and you're studying, you're going from game to game, you don't know who Knight is going to be. Tonight it was Hollywood Brown.
Last week,

Speaker 32 it might have been Juju. It might have been Tyquan Thornton.

Speaker 32 So the fact that they're also being able to establish the run, to balance the offense out,

Speaker 32 to keep everything honest, especially defense, because you don't know what's coming. That's the great thing for the Chiefs.

Speaker 32 And the fact that Patrick Mahomes is playing so well, he played a clean game as well. Playing a clean game and then being able to play defense on the back end

Speaker 32 consistently against a great offense, a great creative offense that again I'm sure that Dan Campbell is responsible for. It is a really good game.

Speaker 32 Obviously, the Chiefs' defense and offense has been up and down, which is something it's been some slippage, something that we talked about early in the season, and where we thought they really weren't going to be the same, especially coming out the gate 0-2.

Speaker 32 And look,

Speaker 32 we're in week six, uh-huh. We're in week six, and every yeah, I hear everything looked completely different than the conversations we had just

Speaker 32 in the first previous week.

Speaker 32 So, I mean, what they've been able to do in such a short amount of time and changing everything around to everybody dropping balls or that they not playing defense like they used to.

Speaker 32 We were talking about Chris Jones not not hustling, not having effort, you know, on certain plays. So looking like they did tonight

Speaker 32 is an unbelievable thing.

Speaker 23 I think the thing is, Ocho, is that, that, like you said,

Speaker 23 each week is a different receiver. Tonight, they really didn't use a whole lot of Twyquan Thornton.
I didn't really see him on the field a whole lot, Ocho. Tonight, it was all about Juju.

Speaker 23 Travis Kelsey had his best game receiving of the year.

Speaker 23 Hollywood Brown, we mentioned Hollywood. Xavier Worthy doing Xavier Worthy, but he didn't get a whole lot of opportunities.

Speaker 23 I think if you go back and look at what they've done the past two weeks, is that they've started off throwing the football in order to run the football. And they stayed in front of the sticks.

Speaker 23 This offense is predicated. As long as we can

Speaker 23 stay in third and short, third and manageable, Ocho, now we can run it or we can throw it. If you go back and look, let's see what they were on

Speaker 23 third down. As long as they were manageable, they were good.
Well, Kansas City was only 4 or 10.

Speaker 23 But they knew, even Dan Campbell knew. Normally at home, when they're clicking, you got to get to 30.
You can't beat this team.

Speaker 23 You can't beat this team in Arrowhead Arrowhead if they're playing good football and you don't get to at least 30.

Speaker 23 Or you need to take the ball away. You need to get a scooping score, you know, strip side.
You need to get a tip, a caramel, something.

Speaker 23 But if they play a clean game and they're on top of their game, you're going to have to meet fire with fire.

Speaker 23 And you saw early on both teams going for it on fourth down because they knew kick and field goals weren't going to win them the game.

Speaker 23 Look last started Monday. They threw the ball early.
Short stuff, get the ball out out of Mahomes' hand. Let's try to slow this rush down.
And now we can get back to running.

Speaker 23 And I thought they did a good job. I thought Andy did an unbelievable job of play calling tonight, getting the ball out of Mahomes quick, and quick.

Speaker 23 And if you notice something, Ocho, and we've seen this, the trans,

Speaker 23 the transformation over the last three years. Mahomboy ain't sitting back there pitch patting the ball.
He'll take off running now.

Speaker 32 Absolutely. Absolutely.

Speaker 23 The only thing I would say, Mahomboy, sometimes you got to know when the journey over. Okay, now you keep dropping that shoulder, people.

Speaker 23 Now, I'm telling you that people, hey, people go drop, hey, they're going to drop.

Speaker 23 That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 23 That's what I'm saying. And you know, quarterbacks don't do a whole lot of a lot of their shoulder work is banged.
They not lifted. So they don't got that

Speaker 23 meet up there like most guys have. Just be careful.
But I like the way they played tonight. They did a great job.

Speaker 23 I really think the turning point of this ball game, and it wasn't, you know, is that Amon Ross St. Brown had some of the best hands in football.
But on that fourth down,

Speaker 23 I think that was a turn because they had great, they had great rhythm. They had great momentum.
And you know,

Speaker 23 because Ocho,

Speaker 23 they were going to get us

Speaker 23 at worst case, the Bill Gallery.

Speaker 23 Now you get nothing. Now you get nothing out of that.
And Kansas City get the ball right out of the gate. But Detroit.

Speaker 23 Detroit didn't play bad. I mean, when you play in Kansas City and they play into the level of that they're playing tonight, they're going to be hard to beat.

Speaker 23 Now, it doesn't matter if they're an arrowhead or they don't matter if they're coming to your building. That is still Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 32 And obviously,

Speaker 32 what we saw tonight from the Chiefs is what we've seen consistently from the Lions.

Speaker 32 This is what we've seen from the Lions consistently, week in and week,

Speaker 32 week in and week out. Nicholas happens to be one of those weeks where you're playing a team.
Now, you're playing the other 31 teams.

Speaker 32 It's not that many teams is going to come out there and put 30 on you.

Speaker 32 They ain't too many.

Speaker 32 You got the Chiefs. You got maybe maybe the Packers.
You got maybe the Bucks that have the offense.

Speaker 23 The Lions.

Speaker 32 Yeah, they have the offense to be able to kind of point you putting up.

Speaker 32 We have to meet fire with fire.

Speaker 32 We have to take certain chances in certain situations because you know field goals is not going to get it done because this team can score at will throughout the majority of the game.

Speaker 32 So, I mean, we have games like this, you want to be as perfect as possible. And the team that makes the fewest mistakes,

Speaker 32 whether it be drops, whether it be interceptions, whether it be turnovers, whatever it may be, the the team that makes the fewest mistakes normally comes out on top, and that's what we saw tonight.

Speaker 23 I like that. I mean, there weren't a whole lot of penalties.
The Chiefs had no penalties.

Speaker 23 The Lions only had four for 38 yards. So this was a fairly clean game.
The refs let them play, which we like to see. Ocho, we like when refs let them play.

Speaker 23 But we got to stop this notion every time the Chiefs win is the refs. You don't win that many games.
Ain't no way

Speaker 23 you can get Travis Kelsey mom. You can get his dad.
You can get Taylor Swift. You can get a lot of of people.
Ain't no way you winning just because of the officials. And I get it.

Speaker 23 It happens all the time. They used to say the same thing with the Patriots.
They used to say this. And that's what happens when you win a lot.
People have to have the reason.

Speaker 23 Well, why they win it instead of like, you know, they got good players. They got a good system.
They got a good scheme. They got great coaching.

Speaker 23 We have to have a reason why instead of just looking at the product and looking at the players.

Speaker 23 See, what has happened over the last years is that people are like, well, they're catching up to Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 23 Well, you're measuring Patrick against his, you're measuring everybody else at their best, but you're measuring him at his worst.

Speaker 23 So you telling me if Patrick Mahomes plays his best and another and every other quarterback plays their best, you take that quarterback over my home boy.

Speaker 23 Absolutely not.

Speaker 23 If every quarterback, all 32 quarterbacks and everybody's healthy, if they played their absolute best, And Patrick Mahomes plays his absolute best, you're not taking another quarterback that's currently playing in the NFL over Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 23 That's how good he's been. I mean, think about it.
He's been in the starter for eight years and he's never, he doesn't know what it's like not to be in an AFC championship game.

Speaker 23 And five of those years, he's been in the Super Bowl.

Speaker 23 So when you look at it like that, and I get it, some, Ocho, we get tired. Man, let's, how many times, Ocho, have you heard, let somebody else win?

Speaker 23 How many times have you heard that, Ocho? I'm tired of it with let somebody else win. It don't work like that.

Speaker 23 When I put that kind of time in, you're going to have to beat me because I'm just not going to stop winning. Even when you were a kid, Ocho, I ain't finna let you win.
No, you got to beat me.

Speaker 23 I'm not going to let you win. Look, I don't think there's anything wrong with the Lions.
I really don't. I think their offense is really good.

Speaker 23 They

Speaker 23 missed a few opportunities, had a couple of drops, but I thought they did really well. They didn't get, I think they only gave up one sack tonight.
They were not as clean as they normally are.

Speaker 23 0 for 2 on fourth down, that's not the Lions. The Lions are normally three or four on fourth downs.

Speaker 23 downs you know because they're going to go for it they're going to put pressure on you you know when you play the lions you got to score points absolutely

Speaker 23 because every every possess that they have is really four downs and you don't know now you like to think like damn okay four down but they might fake punch it fake uh fake punt it and you see the play they call but see what they didn't realize is that the quarterback starts up on the center he has to go

Speaker 32 so he has to come to a complete stop you know what i was confused on that call as well because most of the time i'm thinking, well, wait a minute.

Speaker 32 Now, I see the Dolphins, the other team do the same thing all the time. Tyreek could come in motion and he never comes to a complete stop.
The ball just snaps. But I didn't know.

Speaker 32 But he didn't start on the field.

Speaker 32 I never knew that.

Speaker 23 I didn't know that little tickle right there.

Speaker 32 So that was

Speaker 23 a problem.

Speaker 23 It's a lot of little nuances. It's just like if two people are moving at the same time.

Speaker 23 Once you're going to have to, both guys are going to have to come to a complete stop. Or you're going to have two guys in motion.
And that's what they they got.

Speaker 23 You got illegal motion.

Speaker 23 But I think, look, this was a great game tonight. Obviously, I would like to see it a little closer.

Speaker 23 I was hoping Detroit could score, maybe get an on-side kick, make it really, really interesting, but give Kansas City, when they needed to bowl their backs, they bowed their backs.

Speaker 23 And that's what you want from a great team.

Speaker 23 When it's all said and done, Kansas City's going to be there in the end. Yeah, Ocho.

Speaker 23 They get Rashid Rice back this week, Ojo.

Speaker 32 He sure is coming. He sure is coming back.
And the funny thing about it is not only is he coming back, but as well as they played so far without him,

Speaker 32 each week they've gotten better and better. And like I've said, it's by committee.
You don't know which receiver is going to have his day. I don't like the fact that

Speaker 32 Tyquan Thornton has such an intricate part of the offense all these weeks and all of a sudden tonight,

Speaker 32 you know,

Speaker 32 they know the package of whatever plays they might have had for him, it just wasn't the same.

Speaker 32 I hate when they play that game.

Speaker 23 I hate that too, because he's played so well and he's gaining confidence and the last thing i want to do is to do something to suppress his confidence because he's looking around like what what did i do this week why i mean why was i not because he scored a touchdown damn near every week he's played oh joe and he's played extremely well big catch after big catch big play after big play uh so it's very very unfortunate hopefully uh

Speaker 23 Excuse me, they get into a situation where they get him, where he can come back around and make plays for him again.

Speaker 23 Oh, Joe, the game that you witnessed,

Speaker 23 i told you

Speaker 32 what was gonna happen one thing about it the one thing about it please please don't do that please don't do that y'all don't do that because it didn't it didn't look as good as you did it looked like a woman with no makeup that's the that's what the game it wasn't pretty it wasn't it looked like a woman with no makeup it's nothing to

Speaker 23 it was an ugly contest

Speaker 23 and y'all still lost you know what i'm saying it was an ugly contest and you lost okay

Speaker 23 And I told you what was going to happen. I told you.
I told you what's going to happen. I said, oh,

Speaker 23 they're going to be on justin fields like lions on a wildebeest i said you watch what i did did you see that hey you was right you were right did you see his stat line at the end of the game i saw his stat line i'm going to go over his stat line he was nine of 17 for 45 passing yards when you take away the sat yards he was minus 10 yards passing that is the that's the fewest pass yards in jets history that's the fewest allowed by a team since 1998 so it's been 27 years since somebody has had a worse passing line than what Justin Fields had today.

Speaker 23 They sacked him nine times for minus 55 yards. They had 82 yards.

Speaker 23 Chad, in an NFL game, a team had 82 yards of total offense. In a 60-minute NFL game,

Speaker 23 they were two of 15 on third down.

Speaker 23 57 yards of total offense.

Speaker 23 No, let me take that back. They had 82 yards of total offense.

Speaker 23 Nine sacks, 15 hits, seven tackles for losses, four passes defended, minus 10 net passing yards.

Speaker 23 And I tweeted, Ocho, this is a new low even for the Jets. 82 total yards, 82 effing yards in an NFL game, 2 of 15 on third downs, and allowed nine sacks.

Speaker 23 This is the worst offensive performance I've seen in a while. Not sure if it can be fixed.
This was awful. And it was.
Ocho.

Speaker 23 Ocho.

Speaker 23 I don't think I'm breaking news.

Speaker 23 I'm going to be honest with you, Ocho. I don't know how well Justin Fields processes information.
I don't think so. He freezes.
He freezes.

Speaker 23 There were a couple of times, Ocho, he's got to take the flat right now.

Speaker 32 Oh, and he's done on something else to develop.

Speaker 23 He does.

Speaker 23 Yes, I don't know what it is.

Speaker 23 Ocho, he's got to get out. This isn't college.
In the NFL, you must must throw people open. Guys are not.
Yes, sometimes they'll blow a coverage

Speaker 23 and the guy's wide open and you can throw it to them. But nine, eight and a half times out of 10, you've got to throw guys open in this league.

Speaker 23 Guys are just, the guys are too good.

Speaker 23 And I just don't know. And I'm watching the mocho and he freezes a lot of time.
It's like, I'm like, bro.

Speaker 23 And I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 23 And we blamed the Chicago and we said it was an iber flues and we pittsburgh well he didn't get a chance now he has a chance and i don't know what it is but i just know this he's not processing the information as fast as he needs to and to be great at that position you must process information extremely fast because

Speaker 23 oh joe it's happening it's one two three Hey, you stay one.

Speaker 23 Yeah. Two.

Speaker 32 You got to get out of there.

Speaker 32 Most definitely, especially with them not really blocking well for him being sacked nine times a day see from your point of view So you're able to have better context on why it looked the way it did You know sitting Sweet and watching you know live in person is a little different You just see everything happening fast in person don't know why it's happening because there's no replay.

Speaker 32 There's nothing. There's nothing you can watch

Speaker 23 That's why I don't like watching games in the stadium because you look for the replay because I want to see yeah, so I really couldn't understand.

Speaker 32 I didn't know what is I didn't I didn't know it was as bad as it was once I saw the stat lines at the end of the game. I saw him obviously running for his life.

Speaker 32 I saw there wasn't much they were able to do offensively. You know, I talked to AG.
I told AG before the game. I was like, listen, congratulations on everything you're doing.

Speaker 32 I hope you guys turn this thing around and getting the boys a playing.

Speaker 32 And hey,

Speaker 32 I guess this just wasn't the week. not playing against that goddamn Broncos defense.
And listen, you said what they was going to do.

Speaker 32 And they went out there and did everything you said it was going to do.

Speaker 32 And

Speaker 32 it's almost like the Jets don't even look like an NFL team damn near.

Speaker 23 At times they really don't. I'm like, did y'all practice? Ain't no way you practice.

Speaker 23 Either one of two things, you're not practicing or you're practicing to be just this bad.

Speaker 23 Because normally people practice to be good. You got to practice doing what they're doing.

Speaker 23 This is bad. And I hate it for AG because I know AG personally.
I know him well.

Speaker 23 He's a really good dude, but he could not have gotten off to the worst start

Speaker 23 because these guys, for whatever reason, whatever they're coaching is not resonating. It's not getting through to them.

Speaker 11 Check this out.

Speaker 6 So how did Ashes come together, Diplo?

Speaker 27 Well,

Speaker 33 I kind of briefly met Bailey, I think, at Morgan's show, one of them. And I think he's just the guy in Nashville.
He's cool as hell. And I had a new kind of sound I wanted to do.

Speaker 33 And I think he's the one guy that could carry it. And I came to his house.
I had a show.

Speaker 7 I pulled up real quick. He was about to leave on tour.
You're about to jump in your tour bus. And we had like three hours, played the record for him.
We kind of like got a scratch.

Speaker 7 And then he handled it on his own on the road.

Speaker 8 Yeah, it was really cool. He literally just like randomly showed up to my house.

Speaker 23 Garrett Wilson was asked on the side,

Speaker 23 asked about

Speaker 23 his sideline exchange with Aaron Glenn at the end of the first half. Oh Joe, let's take, yes, let's take a listen to what he had to say.

Speaker 41 the field? Is that the way the drive went?

Speaker 42 Well, really, like, you know, that stuff like that is just, I don't know, y'all, y'all.

Speaker 42 I just didn't know exactly what the plan was. And

Speaker 42 once I figured it out, you know, I was disappointed. I'll just say that.
So,

Speaker 42 yeah.

Speaker 7 How did you run a play? Is that what you mean?

Speaker 42 Yeah, I didn't know exactly what the plan was.

Speaker 42 I just

Speaker 42 thought we were, once we, you know, converted the fourth down, I just thought we were going for the, you know, trying to make the play.

Speaker 42 And then obviously we get to another fourth down, and it's a tough spot to be in. So,

Speaker 42 you know, in hindsight, I get why they did that. But in the moment, I was just like, man,

Speaker 42 I don't know. Yeah.

Speaker 32 He's speaking Pacifics, huh? He's speaking Pacifics.

Speaker 23 Yes, I don't know. I didn't know what they was doing.
I was like, y'all just going to let the time run out. Ain't nobody, you're not going to want to play.
You're not going to want to play.

Speaker 32 I was thinking about the park management as well. And I'm like, well, why the heck? Why are they letting the clock go all the way down? Let's try to to do something.
Let's do something.

Speaker 32 But obviously, you know, he's frustrated. He's frustrated.

Speaker 23 He should be. The guy was home.
The guy had been, he was offensive rookie of the year with some very marginal quarterbacks.

Speaker 23 And

Speaker 23 allegedly, supposedly, they had supposed to have gotten better quarterbacks. But his stats aren't indicative of that.
So he's frustrated by that.

Speaker 23 Second of all, when you do what they did it tells me you don't trust your quarterback yeah oh you don't that's the only reason you would do something like that because we've seen other teams with other quarterbacks with that same amount of time try to run plays and if we got time we're gonna call we're gonna use our timeouts or we're gonna cheat uh help the guys uh uh hope the guys can get out of bounds but when you just let that amount of time just run off the clock

Speaker 23 out of the way in hell, you cannot convince me that you love the quarterback.

Speaker 32 You don't because that's the only reason you do a time like that. We can't put our team, we can't put our quarterback because in decision-making, it's not where it needs to be.

Speaker 32 To be able to put him in situations that might not be advantageous for him because he might make the wrong decision with the ball. We can't trust him

Speaker 23 to make matters worse. Wilson suffered an injury to one of his knee ligaments, and he'll have an MII upon returning to New Jersey.
Ocho, look,

Speaker 23 um, and when he did, and he was late with the ball, he was all over the place. He had him on the out, and he throws it behind him.

Speaker 23 He had another guy who would have had the first down, and he ends up hurting his back. And so, the fourth down, they don't even have Garrett Wilson in the ball game.
I'm like,

Speaker 32 whatever could go wrong went wrong today for them.

Speaker 23 It went wrong with Ocho.

Speaker 23 Even the best defense attorney

Speaker 23 struck you at some point in time,

Speaker 23 we don't have a winnable case

Speaker 23 At some point in time,

Speaker 23 and it's coming sooner rather than later. Hey,

Speaker 23 I don't know how much further

Speaker 23 I can stick my neck out for Justin Fields.

Speaker 23 I don't know, Ocho. I don't know.

Speaker 32 In order to have a chance, Uncle, in this league, it's 32 teams. In order to have a chance, I don't care who's coaching.
I don't care what you have on the offensive line.

Speaker 32 I don't care what you have at that receiver. I don't care what you have on defense.
In order to have a chance in today's era of football, you got to have a quarterback.

Speaker 32 He doesn't have to be the fastest.

Speaker 32 He doesn't have to have the best arm.

Speaker 32 He just has to be consistent in his decision making.

Speaker 32 He has to have exquisite anticipatory skills and being able to play the position, being able to process information in front of him, and being able to do exactly what you ask of him to make sure that offense goes, whatever that may be.

Speaker 32 Whatever it may be.

Speaker 32 I thought this would be good for Justin Fields, especially with the signs that he showed with the Steelers last year and

Speaker 32 into a winning record until Russell Wilson was given a job by Mike Tomlin. I'm like, you know what?

Speaker 32 If Justin Fields gets his own team, I think he's going to be okay because he showed flashes of brilliance and what he could do when he's quarterback number one. Now you're quarterback number one.

Speaker 32 You ain't got nobody to worry about. You don't have nobody looking over your shoulder.
So you can actually play free. You can, you can play free.

Speaker 32 Yes, based on the play calls and some of the things that

Speaker 32 they were doing, it's like they don't even trust in the quarterback that they have because they're not the play calling isn't free.

Speaker 32 We have to protect our quarterback from himself.

Speaker 32 So, you know what? We're going to have, we're going to let the clock run out because we don't even want to put him in the situation where he has to make certain decisions because it can go wrong.

Speaker 23 You're right.

Speaker 23 It's bad it's bad and i know and and a g's like wants to show support but i don't know how much longer

Speaker 23 that because at the end of the day ojo you got 50 other guys in that locker room now and i understand the loyalty that you want to have for your quarterback and you want to show support but you'll lose the locker room supporting one as opposed to the other guys because they'll look like and they know Ocho, you've been in locker rooms for a long time.

Speaker 23 I've been in locker rooms.

Speaker 32 Yeah.

Speaker 23 And maybe Tyrod, maybe it's time to maybe you give it a couple of more games. You're like, well, hey, Justin, I'm sorry.
We're going to have to let Tyrod have a go at this.

Speaker 32 See if

Speaker 32 he can get some things going.

Speaker 23 Because

Speaker 23 this is terrible. Now, look, the Broncos' defense is really, really good.
That front seven, oh, they get after quarterback. And if you think about it, they're rotational.

Speaker 23 A botino bonito and Cooper, they'll go a series. And then the next, they got a whole different set of lineup.

Speaker 23 And they, hey, they got that, they got a

Speaker 23 NASCAR package that they just keep rotating them, and they keep coming. They collapse you from the outside, and then you got big Allen collapse in the middle.
So,

Speaker 23 and they're going to run you into somebody. If you run wide, Coop got you.
If you run to the other side, Bonito got you. You try to step up in the pocket, you got Allen collapsing the pocket.

Speaker 23 So, they're really good. Don't get me wrong.
Now, that's not a slouch defense. And Passertain is legit.

Speaker 23 He is legit. He is hands down the best player.

Speaker 32 football. Absolutely.

Speaker 23 Hey, he is smooth, man. He is so smooth the way he can transition.
And he's long. Hey, his arm like this long.

Speaker 23 And so he doesn't have to be that close to do this or to do this.

Speaker 32 Yeah, he's really good. We exchange.

Speaker 23 He's so fluid. I mean, for someone to be as tall as he is and to be as fluid through the hips as he is, because, bro, he backpedal and get out of there in a hurry and he can whip his hips and go.

Speaker 23 But, Ocho,

Speaker 23 being raised on a farm, I was in 4-H,

Speaker 23 went to county fairs, went to a goat show, a cow show, and I seen it, and I've been to the circus. I ain't never seen no ish like what I saw with the jets today.

Speaker 32 You done been around a lot of football, too. You ain't seen nothing like you.

Speaker 23 I have. But today, today,

Speaker 23 this, today, I'm talking about like, look, and I've been on, I'm like, damn.

Speaker 23 I'm trying to think. I think maybe one other time that I've actually been around it, I saw the hell out of the part of it.

Speaker 32 It had to be the Reagan.

Speaker 23 I think you got to go back to 92. And the Eagles, the Eagles beat us.
I think they beat us 30 to nothing. I don't know if we had 50 yards of total offense.

Speaker 23 Yeah. No.
The Eagles. No, I was with the Broncos.

Speaker 23 Yeah.

Speaker 23 But that was, that was, so that was, what, 33 years ago? And you got to think about it, Ocho. They said the last time somebody had that few yards in a passing game, that was 98.
That was 27 years ago.

Speaker 23 So you're talking about almost three decades. This doesn't happen often.
So people, I don't want you to think that, oh man, that could happen. No.

Speaker 23 This does not happen often, especially in today's game when it's catered for the quarterback and the receivers because you can't punish the quarterback and it's hard for you to touch the receivers.

Speaker 23 So with that being said, to get a performance like what they got today, Ocho, 82 yards of total offense.

Speaker 32 Listen, that's a testament to how good that defense actually is. Even with them being handicapped because of the rules, that's just how good they are.

Speaker 23 And how bad the opposing team was.

Speaker 23 That too.

Speaker 32 Hey, listen, two things can be true. And you, and you

Speaker 23 they absolutely can be true. Um, but I don't, I don't know where the Jets go.
I do know. I do know they take their ass home.

Speaker 23 And

Speaker 23 that's a long ass flight to take an ass whip. And you sold.

Speaker 32 Do you even watch film? or do you?

Speaker 23 Hell no, I ain't showing that.

Speaker 32 I was going to say.

Speaker 23 I'm putting that where they put Jimmy Hoffer.

Speaker 23 Whoever the hell that is. I'm burying that tape.
Ain't nobody going to see that.

Speaker 23 As a matter of fact, I'm going to sue NFL Films if they show it.

Speaker 23 You better be glad that they got like, remember they used to have inside the NFL Locho and they have the Thursday night they have the game.

Speaker 23 Well, you was on, yeah, and they show highlights from the game. Nah, don't y'all show that.

Speaker 32 don't y'all show it a default uh but but this was this was bad this was bad um and and and you can lose you can lose you can lose a locker room if you're not sure if there's one thing about losing the locker room and a coach having to make a very tough decision you know for a quarterback for a quarterback that you you consider you're number one a quarterback that that that's been paid

Speaker 32 is the backup is the backup the answer because once you once you make a move in the middle of a season like this we're only in week six. Once you make a move like this, you're making a move.

Speaker 23 I think they give them a couple more weeks, Ocho. But if they don't turn this thing around, I can see a situation.
Ocho, if we owe

Speaker 23 an eight, oh and nine, oh and ten. So what? We try to, I mean, what are we trying to do? Because I already know a team and another team that's in the Midwest that's trying to get the number one pick.

Speaker 23 That's Cleveland. And we'll talk about them in a minute.
So are the Jets trying to get the number one pick?

Speaker 23 Because if you're trying to get the number one pick, it's the state of the course. I see where you're going.

Speaker 23 Because that quarterback that you're bringing in, the Tyrods is going to try to win games. I'm just telling you, and I'm not saying Justin Fields isn't.
So you just tell, just tell me what to do.

Speaker 23 Because here's the thing: these other guys in the locker room, they don't care that you're trying to build for the future.

Speaker 23 I ain't trying to get my head split right now while you build it for the future. Damn your future.
My future is right now because I might not even be here when we get good.

Speaker 32 Yeah, which is true. Which is true.
And

Speaker 32 they're going to be some heads rolling now. There's going to be some attitudes.
There are going to be some frustrations, especially from five.

Speaker 32 You know, Garrett Wilson ain't going to go for that. Garrett Wilson is not going to go for that.

Speaker 32 You paid me like the receiver that I am. Please use me as such.

Speaker 32 Please use me as such.

Speaker 23 Ocho, last week, Rico Didel ran for over 200 yards. He knew the Cowboy was on the schedule.
They asked him. He said, tell them to buckle up.

Speaker 23 They didn't buckle up. The Cowboys beat the Panthers.
Excuse me. The Panthers beat the Cowboys by the score of 30 to 27.
Another game in which the Cowboys' defense were exposed.

Speaker 23 Brian Schottenheimer stood up for his defensive coordinator, Matt Eberflus. The Cowboys allowed 216 rushing yards a season high, led by former Cowboy Rico Dallo, who had 183 yards on 30 carries.

Speaker 23 It marked the fourth time the Cowboys have allowed at least 144 yards rushing this season. It's also the fourth time this season the Cowboys have allowed at least 30 points.

Speaker 23 It was also the fourth game they have recorded one or fewer sacks. Now, I remember Ocho because, you know,

Speaker 23 Micah couldn't stop the run, and, you know,

Speaker 23 Dak is indispensable, and Dak is playing well.

Speaker 5 I had an incredible time at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival and even got the chance to hang out with Diplo and Bailey Zimmerman while I was there.

Speaker 33 And I think he's the one guy that can carry it. And I came to his house.
I had a show.

Speaker 7 I pulled up real quick. He was about to leave on tour.
You're about to jump in your tour bus. And we had like three hours, play the record for him.

Speaker 33 We kind of like got a scratch.

Speaker 7 And then he handled it on his own on the road.

Speaker 8 Yeah, it was really cool. He literally just like randomly showed up to my house.
I'm like, oh, hey, Diplo, what are you doing? He's like, I I have a song that I want to show you. And I was like, okay.

Speaker 8 And then now we're here playing it live.

Speaker 23 Dak is playing well. But Dak is under the same situation that your quarterback was under last year.
Because his defense is so putrid, if he punts the ball, when he gets it back,

Speaker 23 if he had a lead, they're either going to be tied or they're going to be closer than they were when he punted the ball. Because his defense can't stop anybody.
That defense is atrocious.

Speaker 23 Now, they keep blaming. I don't know what it is.

Speaker 23 They fired Mike Nolan. They said it was Mike Nolan.
Now, some of those players were still there when Mike Nolan was there. They had

Speaker 23 Zim. It was him.
He wasn't no good. They got Mike Irbaflus.
So they've had three or four different coordinators. And a lot of those same players that were there are still there.

Speaker 23 Now, I want to know, OJo, at some point in time, we got to start holding your players accountable because we quick to blame

Speaker 23 that coach, that coordinator, that this, that, that.

Speaker 32 It's a coach,

Speaker 32 it's the scheme, but it's never, it's never the players, which is why I'm tired of hearing that. I'm trying to hear, I'm tired of hearing that, especially out of the 5-1-3 all the time.

Speaker 32 But we'll get to that game in a minute. But I said this before the season started, huh? People laughed at me when I said

Speaker 32 my surprise team. I had two.

Speaker 32 I had two. One of them was the Bears, and the other one was the Carolina Panthers.
I told them, I want you to watch out for the Panthers. I want to

Speaker 32 watch out for Bryce Young. Watch out for the defense, and watch out for the

Speaker 32 receivers. And what are they doing? You saw what they did to the Panthers.
I mean, excuse me, you saw what they did to the Atlanta Falcons not long ago. You saw what they did today.

Speaker 32 Young Bull, Young Bull.

Speaker 32 I don't want to butcher his last name.

Speaker 32 Running back.

Speaker 32 Do how you say it the right way,

Speaker 23 people say Doddell, but I think they say, I think it's Doddell.

Speaker 32 Daddy or Daddell?

Speaker 23 I've heard it both ways.

Speaker 23 I don't listen to the broadcast, so chat, y'all have to have to tell me how to say it. Ask you on the broadcast, how do they say it? Do they say Donnell Donnell or they say Doddle?

Speaker 32 You know, people don't play by their last name now.

Speaker 32 Yeah. Hey, but listen, boy, he was on a mission.
He was on a mission.

Speaker 23 It wasn't nothing cute about him today. Listen, you know, Rico, Rico Suave.
You know, Rico's going to be cute.

Speaker 23 It wasn't nothing cute about Rico today. He told y'all, oh, Joe, this man called his shot.

Speaker 23 This man said he was going to do.

Speaker 32 Do you know how difficult that is to call your shot in the middle of the week before the game and tell people to buckle up and then actually go out there and do exactly what you're going to do, which is the reason why you said you need to buckle up

Speaker 32 on the ground, catching in the air? Man, man,

Speaker 32 Dowdell was all over the place.

Speaker 23 Dowdle. Oh, Dowdo, yeah.
Dowdle. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 23 Dowdle, but uh, I thought that, but I was like, hey, they say Dowdell, hey. But oh Joe.

Speaker 23 at some point,

Speaker 23 at some point,

Speaker 23 Jerry has to understand

Speaker 23 his defense is built. They're undersized.
When you have an undersized defense, what does that mean, Ocho? You're built to play with a lead

Speaker 23 because you want to eliminate the run game because you're 14, 17 points up. They're not going to run it.
Now you use those underside guys to stream up, the stream upfield.

Speaker 23 Okay, what happens when you got to sit your light ass in there and catch?

Speaker 23 They ain't got nobody to light it up.

Speaker 23 All I heard was, Jerry, I'm very disappointed in you. Because everybody was

Speaker 23 yakking. You win a game, you yakking.
You had a tieball game, and they couldn't get him out the podium. Hell, they thought it was a ring master.
Hey, Red, hurry, red, hurry, red, step right up.

Speaker 23 Now, Carolina put foots in your butt. Now

Speaker 23 Jared didn't speak to the media. Why not?

Speaker 23 Because they

Speaker 23 absolutely not.

Speaker 23 Yeah, exactly. Front running.
Now, oh, oh, hold up. You remember a couple of, you remember,

Speaker 23 what was it, last week?

Speaker 23 And then,

Speaker 23 you know, you remember that, Ocho? You see what I'm talking about?

Speaker 23 Now look at it. Everything that went wrong.
Well, you know, Michael wasn't good against the run. Okay, Micah gone.
What's your problem now?

Speaker 23 Well, we didn't go that far when we had Michael. Okay, how far are you going to go without him now? Because you're two, three, and one.
Hey.

Speaker 32 Listen,

Speaker 32 if they're going to have a shot, now I know we didn't get to it yet, but offensively, we'll get to that in a minute. But boy, that boy, Dak, boy, he's earning every bit of that 60.

Speaker 32 He earning every bit of that 60 or whatever it is.

Speaker 23 Empty calories, Ocho.

Speaker 23 Empty calories. If you go, if you say, you know what, if you say, man, you know what? I'm gonna get in shape.
I'm gonna, I'm gonna get in shape. I'm gonna eat healthy.

Speaker 23 Bro, you go eat Twinkies and whole hoes. All them is empty calories.
They don't do nothing for you. They satisfy your craving, but they add absolutely no nutrition.

Speaker 23 That's what those stats are.

Speaker 32 You gotta understand. Listen, I'm doing my job.
I'm doing what I'm supposed to do. This is a team game, right? So I do.

Speaker 23 Yeah, you're supposed to weaken.

Speaker 32 Yeah, that too. But to give,

Speaker 32 I need y'all to stop something over here.

Speaker 32 I need y'all to stop something over here.

Speaker 23 I will say to his credit, though, Ocho, he hasn't turned up. No, no, no.
He's playing clean.

Speaker 32 He's playing.

Speaker 23 So I will concede, but it's hard because he knows he has to be perfect.

Speaker 23 Because my team is not going to stop anybody.

Speaker 23 Right now, right, hey, right now, we can't stop a parked car.

Speaker 23 We already, so you know that going into the ball game. I already know what I'm up against.

Speaker 23 That's secondary. Look,

Speaker 32 you can't stop a what?

Speaker 23 I don't know if Diggs, I don't know if Diggs is still hurt. He's still, he's not the same.
Diggs don't even look the same to me.

Speaker 23 I know Diggs Diggs better than this.

Speaker 23 I don't know if that injury, if he's 100% recovered, because I know he's, you know, you know, they find him 500,000 because he wasn't around or whatever's going on.

Speaker 23 But he does, look, he was always a cluer. He was always a guesser

Speaker 23 and and and look now he got in he got incredible hands he get his hands on the ball he coming down most of the times when he does guess he guess in the right way because he knows what's coming because

Speaker 32 he didn't look the same he didn't look the same today

Speaker 23 he ain't looked the same in a while

Speaker 23 he ain't looked the same in a while and

Speaker 23 And the defense, and because, look, they got those guys, and like I said, teams just going to run the ball.

Speaker 23 And now, when you run the ball, you're going to have to drop the safety down, and now you don't really have no help over the top at all.

Speaker 23 I mean, if they ran the ball 38 times for 216,

Speaker 23 think of it, you dead last in total yards, you like 24th in rush yards allowed, you probably dead last the points. Where are they in points allowed?

Speaker 23 Because they gave up 40 to the Packers, they gave up 30 today,

Speaker 23 they gave up what 24.

Speaker 23 They've probably averaged giving up 24.

Speaker 23 They're close to the bottom, they're then they 28 through 32 in points of line.

Speaker 32 Don't be this, nobody should be surprised. If you're

Speaker 32 in the chat tonight, I'm sure you're a faithful fan. You've been and you've been watching for a very long time.
I told you before the season started,

Speaker 32 I told you about the Panthers. Everybody laughed at me outside of Panthers fans.
Everybody laughed at me. Oh, oh, Joe, man, they sorry.
They this, they that. I told you, you know, and I kept

Speaker 32 remind you again.

Speaker 32 Keep counting, bitch. All right.

Speaker 23 But see, here's the problem that I have.

Speaker 23 You see,

Speaker 23 at some point in time now, you're going to have to, like,

Speaker 23 when you get the ball, you're going to have to keep putting points on the board. You can't be content when you got a lead.

Speaker 23 They punt the ball, you got to go get points again because you know that was an anomaly that your defense stopped them.

Speaker 23 What's the likelihood your defense is going to pitch a shut out in the second half? I happen.

Speaker 23 They gave up 10 10 points in the fourth quarter

Speaker 23 more times than not yeah they scored three in the fourth quarter so they scored 10 and they uh uh gave up 17. yeah

Speaker 23 bryce young 17 to 20 17 to 25 a buck 99 three touchdowns one pick

Speaker 23 sack uh

Speaker 23 one time for five yards 38 carries 216 yards

Speaker 23 George Pickens playing his ass off.

Speaker 32 Well, you see, wait, remember what we talked about? Remember, I told you you weren't going to have any issues out of

Speaker 32 anything. I told you that conversation.
George, I know you're going to see this, boy. I love you.
But I love you. I told you.

Speaker 32 It's okay. It's okay.

Speaker 23 This is why your team is 2-3 and 1.

Speaker 23 The Cowboys, dead last in total D. Dead last in pass D.
Dead last in third down percentage. Second to the worst points allowed, averaging 30.7 points a game.

Speaker 32 Wait, offensively,

Speaker 32 I'm sure they're higher, they're way higher than that.

Speaker 23 Yeah, you ain't overcoming that.

Speaker 32 You can't because you, you, you

Speaker 23 because think about what you got to think about it, Ocho. In order for you to have, they giving up 30.7.
So, in that order for you to be winning, that means you got to score 30.8 a game.

Speaker 23 That's very difficult.

Speaker 32 Very difficult.

Speaker 23 They got the second best offense, Ocho.

Speaker 23 Fourth in points.

Speaker 23 Fourth in points. 29.7.
So you give up one more. Yeah.
Ocho. See? Man, we were close.
All I need to do is score one more point to you. And that's what they average.
Guess what? They score 29.7.

Speaker 23 They give up 30.7. So guess what? If you score 29, I score 30, who wins?

Speaker 32 You know what? That situation right there, to give people a better perspective, to give people better context.

Speaker 32 It sounds like another team, when my quarterback is healthy, we go through that same issue.

Speaker 39 Because

Speaker 32 we scoring 30 a game when everybody is healthy.

Speaker 32 Shoot, the other team's scoring 32.

Speaker 32 We score 40, they score 50.

Speaker 32 You can't win for Louis.

Speaker 23 Yeah, well, you saw it last year. Y'all scored 38.
Y'all lose 41, 38. Y'all scored 35, they scored 38.

Speaker 32 Well, Jerry said, Michael was the problem.

Speaker 23 Jerry said, I don't know. Well, Jerry didn't say, Jerry did, Jerry didn't say anything today.
I want to know, see, front running. Now, see, all that, you all out the window in the owner's box.

Speaker 23 You all out.

Speaker 23 Oh, we just having a good time. We have, you know, the cowboy fans, we travel to cowboy fans.
We just having a good old time.

Speaker 23 I ain't see.

Speaker 32 Hey.

Speaker 23 This is what you saw up there. This is what you saw today, Ocho.

Speaker 32 And the funny.

Speaker 23 You like the skills

Speaker 23 of school kids when it's raining outside and you ain't got no reference.

Speaker 32 You got to sit there and look out the window.

Speaker 32 You know, something like this, how do you fix it? How do you fix that though? This is just not a one-player issue defensively.

Speaker 32 This is not a one-player issue.

Speaker 23 You got to get better players.

Speaker 23 You got to get better players. The NFL

Speaker 23 and it's hard to get them now because you got what you got. But you have a team, you have a team that's built on playing with the lead.

Speaker 23 Well, if you can't get the lead, Ocho, you can't just turn them loose. Because if you just run your ass up the field, they're going to just run where you will left.

Speaker 23 So you catch it.

Speaker 23 They too small.

Speaker 23 They ain't got no bricks in the back pocket.

Speaker 23 You can't drop anchor with them little light ass guys they got up there.

Speaker 23 Man, they got guys back pocket shaking hands. They so small in that.

Speaker 32 As a matter of fact, you know what? I'm thinking about it. If I was Jerry, now listen, I'm putting my owner's hat on.
I'm putting my owner's hat.

Speaker 32 I need to get someone to anchor that front, someone that I could build around, and he could be that centerpiece for me.

Speaker 23 Jerry don't care about winning, Ocho. We've been determined that the Ocho don't, Jerry don't care about winning.

Speaker 32 I'm just hypothetically talking. Hey, Chad, tell me what you think.
Right now,

Speaker 32 Tennessee Titans, I'm going to get Jeffrey Simmons to anchor my defense and

Speaker 32 build from there out, build from the inside out to start over. What you think?

Speaker 32 I'm going to get

Speaker 23 George Pickens gonna want a lot of money. George Pickens gonna want at least DK money.

Speaker 32 And he's gonna get DK dk money because let me show you let me see what's let me show you what's gonna happen or what can happen with cee d lamb who's considered the top five quarter i'm top quarterback who's considered a top five receiver when we talk about receiving when he goes out let me show you what i can do i can pick up right where you left let me show you what i can do if i get the opportunities that i deserve that i should have got when i was in you know where i'm not gonna bring i'm not gonna bring them up yeah but i can do i can do the same thing i can put up number two i can take you deep or i can take a slant to the house man stop playing with me.

Speaker 23 This is what I do.

Speaker 23 Hey, if he gets his hands on the ball and he faced your ass up,

Speaker 23 good luck getting his ass on the ground.

Speaker 23 He reminds you of a smaller version of T.O. You remember how T.O.
ran A.

Speaker 23 If T.O. got the ball in his hands and he faced you up,

Speaker 23 You not

Speaker 23 you right here in front of him not getting him on the ground. You better hope that hey, I'm gonna hey come on which way you go.
I'm gonna try to hold him out. Come on man.
Damn.

Speaker 23 I can't hold him here forever. You breathe.
Help. Come on.
Shit. What the hell? Man.
And that's how y'all, that's what they have to do with Pick.

Speaker 23 If he gets the ball in his hands and he turns around and square your ass up.

Speaker 32 And then you know what's funny? He's faster than he look. because ain't nobody catching him from the back.

Speaker 23 He plays fast. He might not be.
He might have not, I I don't even know what he ran. He might have ran four, Ocho, but there are guys that might not run fast, but play fast.
That's Jerry.

Speaker 23 Jerry didn't run fast, but he played fast. Emmett didn't run fast, but he played fast.
He has what they call functional speed. He has football speed.

Speaker 23 You get him out there to test.

Speaker 23 But boy,

Speaker 23 man,

Speaker 32 that's what I told you before the season started. They wouldn't have

Speaker 23 you did.

Speaker 23 I'm glad because I'm like, bro, you got to man, make this money, bro. You got it.
You got an opportunity to make $200 million to set your family up for generations and generations.

Speaker 23 I mean, there might be a George Pickers IV

Speaker 23 to say, my great-great-granddad

Speaker 23 put me and put me and put this family in position. Bro, don't waste that.

Speaker 23 Don't mess up your money with some foolishness. The best thing to happen, he needed to get out of Pittsburgh.
He needed a change of scenery. And sometimes that's what it takes, Ocho.

Speaker 23 Sometimes it takes a change of scenery. Sometimes it takes somebody, him or her, to get into a new relationship in order for them to be their very best.

Speaker 32 Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely.
And I'm glad for him. But again, I know.

Speaker 23 I'm happy. But the Cowboys,

Speaker 32 I know it wasn't.

Speaker 23 But Jerry don't care about winning, Ocho. We've decided this.
You and I, we talked about this for years. Jerry cared more about money.

Speaker 32 Yeah,

Speaker 32 we understand that too, but I'm thinking from a defense perspective, with them being the deadlines in every category and every statistic and every metric and every standard when it comes to football.

Speaker 32 Week six, November's coming up, deadline. You never know if you were to make some type of

Speaker 32 hasty move.

Speaker 32 I would love to see them. It probably won't happen.
I'm just thinking as I'm putting my GM hat on. I'm going to get Jeffrey Simmons.

Speaker 32 You know, quality. Top three defensive tackle in the NFL right now to this day.
Boom. I'm putting you right there.
I'm going to build around you.

Speaker 32 I'm going to build around you.

Speaker 32 Yeah. That's just me.
Chat. What y'all think, Chad? I know y'all

Speaker 23 linebackers aren't very good, Ocho.

Speaker 23 Their linebackers are not very good. They ain't nothing.
They ain't got no plug. I mean, look, Sam Williams, they got guys try to rush off the edge, but I'm talking about like a Mike backer.

Speaker 32 Hold on, understand. Let me tell you something.
You You might not like what they have right now because what that backer had that Mike Backer had in front of him is light in the ass.

Speaker 32 Now, what happened if you go get that Big 98 from goddamn over there in Tennessee and you get to be you get you get that you get to be able to roam free?

Speaker 23 Why I want to get why I want to give him up to you. What you gonna give me? Huh?

Speaker 23 Wasn't the first round picks that you got from the Packers?

Speaker 32 Maybe. We could.
Hey, listen, if I, if we, Jerry, we can we can negotiate.

Speaker 32 We could,

Speaker 23 but Jerry don't like that, Ocho.

Speaker 23 he don't he don't want to give up he likes jerry likes to develop players so jerry jerry jerry has gotten burned uh uh in free agency and so he's like he's done with it he's he's done with it he's not gonna he's gonna get guys that he go get the jadavian clowny and and and and clowny had but clowny is he he's not gonna he's not gonna move them he's not gonna move the needle he's not the clowny of old

Speaker 23 No, no, no, no. And we had that discussion.
We don't think he ever lived up to what we thought he was going to be. He was in the draft with Khalil Mack.
Khalil Mack turned out to be the better player.

Speaker 23 That's what, what, what,

Speaker 23 what Khalil Mack is, that's what we thought Jadavian Clowney was going to be.

Speaker 23 Based on what we saw in college,

Speaker 23 you probably got to go back to an Indomicon Su to find a guy that raved hell. Now,

Speaker 23 the dominated like Jadavian Clowney did his sophomore year. His junior year, he was just trying not to get hurt.
So he didn't play like he did his sophomore year.

Speaker 23 But go back and look at Indoma Kim Sue last year.

Speaker 23 He was like, okay, that's the best player in the country. Now, I forget who won the Heisman trophy that year.
Sam, I think, was it Sam Bradford? Sam Bradford won. That was the best.

Speaker 23 And Dominic Sue was the best player in the country that year.

Speaker 23 That's what we thought Jadavian Klein was going to be.

Speaker 23 But we'll see what Jerry's going to do right now.

Speaker 23 I mean, it would have been lovely to hear from him, but

Speaker 23 unfortunately, we did not hear from him, Ocho.

Speaker 23 But a team that we did hear from today, Aaron Rodgers threw two TDs as the Steelers continued their home dominance over the Browns by the score of 23 to 9.

Speaker 23 Steelers,

Speaker 23 seemingly, OJO, on cruise control. They're 4-1 in the division.

Speaker 23 Cleveland, 1-5. Baltimore, 1-5.
I think 1-5.

Speaker 23 Cincinnati has lost, what, fourth straight? So now they're and four.

Speaker 23 Pittsburgh division to lose.

Speaker 32 Yeah, absolutely. And honestly,

Speaker 32 I don't see him losing it. And

Speaker 32 I can say this.

Speaker 32 As much as I love my Bengals, I don't see him losing it. Now, I saw

Speaker 32 something nice we'll talk about later when we get to the Bengals. But goddamn, Aaron Rodgers got them boys playing on all cylinders.

Speaker 32 Especially on offense, playing on all cylinders.

Speaker 32 As good as that defense is over in Pittsburgh, with the names that they do have, once they start gelling and playing that good football the right way, that know we know the way we know they can play, they're going to be fine.

Speaker 32 As long as Aaron Rodgers is playing like Aaron Rodgers is playing now, they always going to be in contention and they're going to be hard to beat. Forget right now, I ain't talking about week six.

Speaker 32 I'm talking about when real football starts at the Thanksgiving, getting into the postseason when it's cold and you got to go over there. It ain't called Heinz Field no more, huh?

Speaker 32 I vake it down

Speaker 32 when you got to take your Heinz Field. I know.
Well, you ain't gonna be able to throw the ball 50 times a game. You're gonna have to put it on the ground.

Speaker 32 And you got Cam Hayward, you got goddamn TJ Walk coming off that goddamn end.

Speaker 32 And

Speaker 32 I forgot young bull name. Was it Smith? 56, 56.

Speaker 23 He

Speaker 23 got through.

Speaker 32 Oh, man, stop playing, man.

Speaker 32 Yeah, he's nice now.

Speaker 32 Then the back end really ain't got no weakness. Now, I know.

Speaker 23 Oh, Joe, it's called

Speaker 23 Across Shore Stadium. No, no longer Heinz Field, Across your Stadium.

Speaker 32 Across your

Speaker 32 face. I tell you what, and I mean no disrespect to Akushure.
I like to say Heinz Field because that's where I played at.

Speaker 32 That resonated.

Speaker 23 I played the Heinz Field and I played the Three Rivers. The old Three Rivers.

Speaker 32 They had the carpet. Yeah.

Speaker 23 Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 23 Yeah. And the stadium would be bouncing.
I mean,

Speaker 23 you can literally see it. It's bouncing up and down.
It started rocking but

Speaker 23 the browns offense failed to eclipse 17 points for the 11th straight game dylan gabriel uh 29 of 52 221 yards six sacks six times

Speaker 23 how do you

Speaker 23 so you mean to tell me your guy you're gonna let your guy in his second start you gonna let him throw the ball 52 times against that defense on the run it's hard to run on the steelers huh

Speaker 32 It's hard to run on the Steelers. So the other, the only other viable option is you got to throw it.

Speaker 32 And when you think about Dylan Gabriel, when you watch him in the games where he's had success, anything outside inside the numbers, inside the hashes, he's really good. It's nothing really long.

Speaker 32 You know, sometimes you get some short digs, some digs.

Speaker 23 Yeah. If you know that, guess who else knows that? That he's good inside the numbers on short stuff.

Speaker 23 Yeah,

Speaker 23 exactly. Yeah.

Speaker 23 That's what, thank you. Oh, think about it.
You threw the ball 52 times and you only had 221 yards.

Speaker 32 Hey,

Speaker 23 you missed 23 attempts.

Speaker 23 Bro,

Speaker 23 Cleveland, if y'all try to get the number one pick, just say that.

Speaker 32 Whoa, no, they're not.

Speaker 23 No, no, no.

Speaker 32 They want the number one pick for what? They get what quarterback? Because there ain't nothing we've done seen on Saturday that's willing to wait for.

Speaker 32 Absolutely not. No, they don't.

Speaker 23 I guess they want that

Speaker 23 pass rushing

Speaker 23 number six from Miami and pair him with Miles Garrett. I don't know.
Maybe trade it for some more players. I like you.

Speaker 32 I see what you're going. I like what you think.
I like what you're putting up.

Speaker 32 Hey.

Speaker 23 Miles Garrett said losing the same way is frustrating. Miles, guess what you signed up for? You took the money.
I ain't got no problem with that. Oh, Joe.
I have no problem with that.

Speaker 23 But Miles Garrett knew they were not going to win.

Speaker 23 They really haven't won since he's been been there they've gotten worse so you can't say it gets old when you took the money you said you wanted a chance to win they dangled 40 million dollars per year gave you 100 plus 100 500 10 million fully guaranteed you took the money so now you can't complain because you knew

Speaker 23 what made you trust them that they were going to be able to do something in one to two years they haven't been able to do in your tenure since you've been there.

Speaker 32 You talking, but you know, you know, that wasn't it. You, you know, you know, you know, why there was no guaranteed money left.
So I got.

Speaker 23 I know, I know.

Speaker 23 That's what I said. Say, look, he ain't got no guaranteed money.
He won't guarantee money. He's going to say, I won't out.
Really, he won't guarantee money. I get that.
Ocho, I get it. I do.

Speaker 23 And chat, I don't want y'all to think I don't understand, but don't complain when you said you said you wanted a chance to win. You said you wanted to compete.

Speaker 23 You knew, with the exception of that one year, you guys haven't been able to compete. And you trust this organization to

Speaker 23 build pieces around you and do the right thing by getting a quarterback. You trusted them.

Speaker 32 And they already hope they have a bad history at that specific position.

Speaker 32 The one position you need to be able to compete. To be able to contend.

Speaker 32 The identity for the Cleveland Browns has always always been their defense.

Speaker 23 It always has been.

Speaker 32 The hard part has been finding a quarterback that is good, not great, just good enough to consistently not only keep you in games

Speaker 32 but win games when you're in certain situations, especially games that are close.

Speaker 32 You just haven't, you can go through a string of maybe four weeks, five weeks of really good. I'm talking about consistently throughout a season, right?

Speaker 32 Especially when it matters most.

Speaker 32 You haven't been able to find that.

Speaker 32 No.

Speaker 23 And

Speaker 23 I'm supposed to trust you that you're going to find that.

Speaker 23 But what he's finding out, Ocho, is that money really can't buy happiness when you are a competitor and you want to win and to go out there and beat, yeah, guess what?

Speaker 23 That direct deposit is going to hit every Monday or if you get paid on the 1st and 15th, that deposit is going to hit. But them losses, they hurt.

Speaker 23 I guarantee you, when you out there taking that L, I ain't, I have never one time like, man, that check gonna be in my that check gonna be no, I'm going to get my check, so I ain't, I just got direct deposit in 2016.

Speaker 23 But anyway, I never thought that they, I'm gonna go upstairs tomorrow and get that paycheck. I didn't think about that.

Speaker 32 We don't

Speaker 23 know, we don't.

Speaker 23 When the L's started to add up, oh, you're I've been lose, lost six games in a row, seven games in a row.

Speaker 23 Man, please, you out there practicing, and then guess what? Guess what's about to happen, Ocho? Tell them what's gonna happen in Cleveland. That temperature about to drop.

Speaker 23 It's going to get cold. And guess what? You get cold.
Now you out there practicing in the 20 degrees.

Speaker 23 And then come Sunday, you practice, you playing in 20 degrees, 15, 10, and you catch an L after L after L after L.

Speaker 23 Yeah. Ocho.
Dylan Gabriel completed four passes over 10 yards in the air today. He threw the ball 52 times.
But

Speaker 23 Kevin Stafansky kept him in the game for the entire

Speaker 32 they they they don't they don't you see how they protect Justin Fields when it when they're going to the end of the half because of the decision making we don't know what he's gonna do with the ball so how do you hide the quarterback weaknesses whatever weaknesses he may have that we can't see now you and I know

Speaker 32 he can't throw outside the numbers

Speaker 32 he can't he can't be on the left hash and throw an 18-yard comeback on the right side of

Speaker 23 oh hell no type of quarterback he is it will come back the other way for a touchdown

Speaker 32 so you have to call plays that are predicated to his strengths his strengths are throwing intermediate and short routes so therefore you call plays based on what he's able to do extremely well now that's no knock on him that's no knock on him so what we ask of you that's all what we're asking of you based on what you can do well for us offensively that's what we're going to do because that's what you provide for us as a quarterback now that limits your playbook, it limits what you can call for sure, limits some of the things you like to do as opposed to other quarterbacks to have the arm strength or

Speaker 32 the prowess to be able to open up the playbook and do and do more. That's what you have to do.
So, I mean, I didn't want to say it like that.

Speaker 32 I thought everyone else could see that and understood that, especially when you watch them play some of the some of the players at the call.

Speaker 32 Now, some frustrations might arise with maybe Jerry Judy, who I think.

Speaker 23 Jerry Judy had 13 targets, caught five passes. Fannin Jr.
had 10 targets, caught seven. And Joku had six, caught three.

Speaker 23 Damn. Oh, Joe, I had more DK, four catches.
Man,

Speaker 23 he had a goal ball, and Roger and the wind caught it.

Speaker 23 It brought it back.

Speaker 23 I mean,

Speaker 23 he was like five yards in front of the goal.

Speaker 32 Hold on. Wait,

Speaker 32 he caught one deep ball on that. That stuff.

Speaker 23 He caught a deep ball. That was later.
But he ended up, but he had one.

Speaker 23 That'd have been a touch. That was a show enough touchdown.
And Rogers put it up. And I guess the win caught it because Rogers, he turned around and looked up like, damn.

Speaker 23 I didn't know it was like that.

Speaker 23 But

Speaker 23 I.

Speaker 23 I don't know what Cleveland's doing. I don't know if

Speaker 23 they're trying to get the number one one pick. Because they're going to have to fight the gyms.
There's nothing out there.

Speaker 32 This is no knock. And chat, y'all know, because y'all watch college football.

Speaker 32 There is nothing out there that is glaring where it's like, where teams are clamoring for those who are in situations like the Browns or let's say like the Cowboys defensively, where, you know what, we got to have him.

Speaker 32 We got to have him. Yeah.
So we're going to do what's necessary to make sure we're in position to be able to get him. It's nobody like that right now.

Speaker 32 It's nobody popping out on film. It might be some offensive tackle or some defensive tackles that we don't know about, but the skill position, the quarterbacks.

Speaker 23 Oh.

Speaker 23 They need to go get that Cowboys. They need to trade the two draft picks they got this year

Speaker 23 and to go up there and get that guy from Miami, Bain Jr.

Speaker 32 Hey, Bane, nice.

Speaker 23 You need a hellraiser like that. Those are the type of guys that change your future, that change your fortunes.
That's what they need.

Speaker 32 He's nice. Bane is nice.

Speaker 23 Hell yeah.

Speaker 23 But

Speaker 23 I don't like Dylan Gabriel Thornton, letting Dylan Gabriel throw the ball 52 times. Bro, he threw four passes that had 10 yards of air distance.

Speaker 23 He completed four passes over 10 yards in the air today. So everything is checked down.
He's dinking and dunking or checking it down.

Speaker 32 Now, you know, Dinkin and Duncan can work. It can work depending on the...

Speaker 32 You can be efficient digging the duncan but at some point once the boys say you know what we coming up

Speaker 32 we can we go

Speaker 23 you got to be able to put the ball over the head though at some point in time you got to put a man you got to put you got to put somebody on fear you got to put fear you got to put fear you got to put oh joe if i don't feel bro i'm i'm sitting on everything

Speaker 23 when i used to play the raiders and the chiefs you had to throw

Speaker 23 in the in the first 10 plays you had to throw a gold ball or them mofos gonna sit right there

Speaker 32 on everything.

Speaker 23 When you played the Raiders, when you played, had a T-Mac and they had Albert Lewis, or we went over there and they had Dale Carter in Kansas City, and they had a

Speaker 23 what's I forget the guy's name, Lord. Have mercy.

Speaker 23 If you did not move them, if you did not throw a gold ball, even if it is a look, we ain't trying to complete it, but you got to put fear on them because boy, they ain't moving.

Speaker 23 They're not moving,

Speaker 23 man.

Speaker 23 first of all, y'all, we know y'all are not going to throw it deep. You know why we know y'all not going to throw it deep?

Speaker 23 Because we know y'all don't have a really offensive line that can hold up to throw it deep.

Speaker 23 And then, second of all, if you do throw it deep, guess what, Ocho?

Speaker 23 You ain't right no running game. So, what am I stepping up to stop and run for?

Speaker 23 So, with that being said, now we're squatting on everything.

Speaker 23 Prove to me I'm wrong.

Speaker 32 Hey,

Speaker 32 Junkins, Junkins is hurt.

Speaker 23 He had 12 carries for 36 yards. He might have got hurt in the game.

Speaker 23 I was back and forth. Man,

Speaker 23 it's hard for me to stay interested in that right there, Ocho.

Speaker 23 It's hard. You know, I watched the series and I was like, bro, bro, what is this? Yeah,

Speaker 32 I thought they would have leaned on him a little bit more. So I thought, well, maybe he's hurt.
Maybe something's wrong with him. But if your quarterback isn't

Speaker 32 as good, or you're not able to do some of the things you want to do to make sure you're able to be competitive, you want to hide him by running the ball a little bit more.

Speaker 32 You want to put that load and that onus

Speaker 32 on your running back to be able to get things going or to make it easier. Forget balance.
You got to be a run.

Speaker 32 You got to be a run-heavy team first.

Speaker 32 You got to be.

Speaker 23 I ain't trying to do no balance. You ain't got no balance for that right there.

Speaker 23 I mean, Jalen Ramsey had two sacks. Jalen Ramsey said, Jalen Ramsey said, I'm going to try to get me 10 sacks of a corner.

Speaker 23 Hebrew

Speaker 23 had

Speaker 23 two sacks.

Speaker 23 High Smith had a half a sack. TJ had a half a sack.
So they had six sacks, soldiers, six tack, six sacks total. But I don't know what Cleveland's trying to do, but whatever it is.

Speaker 32 You know what? It's almost unfair. It's almost unfair to have to judge Gabriel against that damn defense.

Speaker 32 It's almost unfair. I know it's your division opponent, but hell, it ain't that many people that look good against the goddamn Steelers.
And the quarterbacks that do,

Speaker 32 you know, they're in conversations of the epa echelon with quarterbacks when it comes to being able to dismantle that damn defense.
