The big thing about working at tech is that it's ever-evolving, ever-changing. Everyone's a rookie.
That's how fast the industry is changing.
Speaker 10 So, what I'm really excited about is to be part of that change. So, listen on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 So you're telling me that the AI that's meant to make everyone's job easier to manage just adds more to manage on top of the thousands of apps the IT department already manages.
Speaker 11 Funny how that works.
Speaker 2
Any business can add AI. IBM helps you scale and manage AI to change how you do business.

Speaker 13 Joe Flacco. Yes.
Speaker 13
But not for the Cleveland Browns. for your Cincinnati Bingles.
He will start Sunday at Green Bay.
Speaker 13 Bengal's head coach Zach Taylor announced Cincinnati successfully completed a rare intra division trade Tuesday.
Speaker 13
They sent a 2026 fifth-round draft pick to the Browns in exchange for Flacco and a 2026 sixth-round draft pick. This is how rare it's in.
I think in this century, only twice has it happened.
Speaker 13
The New England Patriots traded Drew Bledsoe to the Buffalo Bills. The Philadelphia Eagles traded Donovan McNabb to the Washington.
They were not the commanders at the time.
Speaker 13 You know what they were, but he got traded intra division. So only three times as a quarterback that I can think of a trade like this going down.
Speaker 13
Jake Browning. Here's Ocho.
Here's Jake Browning, who you said was going to lead y'all to where y'all needed to go on his demotion.
Speaker 12 Yeah.
Speaker 13 Okay.
Speaker 13
Let's run down. Let's run down what happened.
Joe Flacco was traded.
Speaker 13 Ocho's guy
Speaker 13 wasn't being able to,
Speaker 13 Jake Browning, was not being able to hold up to it. Because what was supposed to happen, your backup is supposed to be able to keep you afloat until your starter comes back.
Speaker 13 That's what a backup is supposed to do. That didn't happen.
Speaker 13 So the Cincinnati Bingles are like, look, we've got a lot of money invested in Chase and Higgins, and we gave $14 more million dollars to Trey Hendrickson. So we need to try to maximize this.
Speaker 13 We can't just give up on the season because our quarterback is not fulfilling his obligation, which is to keep us afloat to if and when Joe, excuse me, Joe Burrow came back.
Speaker 13
Doesn't look like that was happening. And so they made the move.
So Cleveland sent Joe Flacco in the 2026 sixth-round draft pick. In returns, the Bengals send them a 2026 fifth-round draft pick.
Speaker 13 We got it loaded now.
Speaker 13 We're getting it right for you guys right now.
Speaker 13 How Jake Browning is taking his demotion from being the starter to now being the backup in Cincinnati.
Speaker 12 Are you pissed?
Speaker 14
Yeah, I'm trying to respond the right way. Obviously, I'm pissed.
And if I wasn't pissed, then I shouldn't be in this locker room.
Speaker 14
And it's important to me. And, you know, I'm aware of the role I played in the offensive struggles over the last few weeks.
And, you know, but I'm also not shouldering the entire
Speaker 14 situation and uh you know i went through yesterday washed my throws
Speaker 14 tried to come up with some stuff that i want to work on um
Speaker 14 and just doing that
Speaker 13 oh you know the thing a quarterback's supposed to do say look it's on me i did not play don't say i'm not going to shoulder all of the blame we know you all the blame is not on you but in that moment when you're in front of the camera as the leader of that offense you say look that's on me i didn't play well enough to get the job done so i understand why the bingles made that decision if and when my time comes back up i'll be more prepared and i promise you bingles fans and this organization my teammates i won't let you down take off ojo all right listen obviously most of the time in that situation as a quarterback being the face being that joe burrow is absent you have to take onus you have to take all that on your shoulders because you are the quarterback because much is expected of you once you are at that position and you are the one who handles the ball the most outside of everyone else.
Speaker 12 With that being said,
Speaker 12
you look at our team and where we are right now. We're two and three.
We still have time to be able to salvage the season.
Speaker 12 I think them continuing to stick with Jake Browning based on the last two performances that we've seen, it would have been malpracticed by the coaches. I think Zach Taylor might be on the hot seat.
Speaker 12
Yeah, listen, it's not funny. This is a serious matter.
This is not a laughing matter. For us,
Speaker 12
the fans are impatient. I'm impatient.
I think upstairs, they're also impatient because they've invested money in that offensive line. They invested money in Joe Burrow.
Speaker 12
They invested money in T and Jamar Chase and other, especially offensively in general. And they want to see a return on that investment.
Correct. Joe Burrow's down.
Joe Burrow down. Next man up.
Speaker 12
The next man up is not playing well. at all.
So we're two and three right now. What do you want to do? We want to get someone else who has a veteran presence that has won a Super Bowl.
Speaker 12
Maybe they can come in and steer the ship to keep it from sinking. Similar to like the Titanic.
We don't want to hit an iceberg. So can Joe Flacco come in and steer the ship and dodge a few icebergs?
Speaker 12 Now we might sink a little bit, but we don't want to just go all the way goddamn under.
Speaker 12 We're going to see what can happen. It all starts with number one: we have a gunslinger at the quarterback position that has a hell of an arm, but he's not mobile.
Speaker 13 No, he's not.
Speaker 12 No.
Speaker 12 Jake Browning was mobile and he was running for his life. Yes.
Speaker 13 Joe Flacco ain't getting away from anything.
Speaker 12 My offensive line, if you guys do see this, I beg of you. I implore you to raise your level of play for us offensively to have any success moving forward.
Speaker 12 Starting right now this week against that Packers defense.
Speaker 13
Ooh. Aaron.
Ooh, Micah. Ooh.
Micah Brown. Bashawn Garrett.
Ooh, Wyatt. Oh, my God.
Speaker 12 My Bengals offensive line. We need to set the tone.
Speaker 12 We need to set the tone all five of you orlando brown come on baby you got to come to the party brother mims you got to come to the party right guard left guard terra car carris we got to come to the party
Speaker 12 as we go
Speaker 12 as the offensive line goes our team goes the game of football is one up front it's one in the trenches and for us to continue to to continue to compete not only in the AFC North, but the NFL in general for the rest of the season, we have to win up front.
Speaker 12 That's what it starts with. If we win up front, everything else becomes easy offensively.
Speaker 13 I can tell
Speaker 13 looking at the chat that there are not a lot of leaders out there because they're looking to offset
Speaker 13 blame.
Speaker 13 If you go look,
Speaker 13
just look at the quarterbacks and how they talk. Jalen Hurts, watch out when they lose a game, how he talks.
With Brady and Manning and all these quarterbacks lose, look how they talk. It's on them.
Speaker 13
You don't talk about, I don't shoulder all the blame. You said it's on me.
I need to play better and I will. I understand why the organization did what they did because I wasn't getting the job done.
Speaker 13
Yes, sir. If and when I get another opportunity.
Oh, Joe, the only reason he's on the roster is that when Joe Burrow got hurt last time, he did a well enough job to say, you know what?
Speaker 13
We got a backup. If Joe goes down for three to four weeks, we got a guy that can hold it in the road for us.
Yeah. He will cut.
We have a self-driving car.
Speaker 13 I've been seeing a lot of self-driving cars lately i'm like hold on i saw the car driving around ocho i'm looking at it i said hold up wait a minute
Speaker 13 ain't nobody driving right right right
Speaker 13 and stopped and somebody got out i said
Speaker 13 i heard people talk about it ocho but that's my first time seeing one never saw it right right
Speaker 13 so that's what that's what jake browning was he was a self-driving car like man joe out jake got this we saw him against jacksonville you remember that thursday night game ocho against jacksonville oh yeah he played well that's what gave you the confidence to say what you were saying because you had seen him in moments like this yes rise to the occasion play extremely well i don't know what happened because here's the thing ojo
Speaker 13 expectations are the number one killer yeah of dreams and hopes and aspirations Because see, it's easy, and I tell guys all the time, I say, you know what?
Speaker 13 The easiest thing I ever did was make the Pro Bowl because nobody was expecting it. Now,
Speaker 13 guess what happens when they build a game plan around you and the defense build a game plan to stop you?
Speaker 12
Wait, hold on. Stay right there because I know you're for the cook.
Hold on now.
Speaker 13 Hold on.
Speaker 12 Hold on, because let me tell you something.
Speaker 12
I got my pen and pad now. I know you're from the cook.
Go ahead now.
Speaker 13 So that's what happens, Ocho. So you see what happened? Expectations.
Speaker 13 Jake Browning had immense expectations.
Speaker 13 Why, why ocho because the cincinnati bingles have immense expectations right even though joe burrows down they believe man we have enough offensively to to right this ship until joe gets back we got chase we got the best receiver in football we believe we got another top 15 receiving football we got a guy that can run the ball
Speaker 13 There ain't no reason for us to be scoring three points, 10 points, be down 34 to 3 going into the fourth quarter with the offensive weapons that we got.
Speaker 13
So now the expectations, and you feel that living up. See, Ocho, it was easy.
Your kids, see, your kids got expectations you never had.
Speaker 13 Your dad, your dad, Ocho Sinco? Yeah. The Pro Bowler, the one that's on Nightcap? Yeah.
Speaker 13 Now they got expectations you didn't have to deal with. Your mom, the people like, they might say, uh, uh, oh, you hurricane,
Speaker 13 Paul, uh, Paul Letterson.
Speaker 13 but now you put so much expectations on your kids because see only people in the neighborhood knew your knew your mom knew your grandma you're a worldwide commodity they see that last name they say hold on
Speaker 13 what's your relationship to ocho
Speaker 13 that's my dad that's your dad
Speaker 13 now
Speaker 13
What you play, you play what you do. You do so, what you do in sports.
Right, right. What you want to be when you grow up.
Speaker 13
Now, you see, Jake Brown had those expectations with that offense. He was supposed, he wasn't supposed to be Joe Burrow.
He was just supposed to be that self-driving car to keep it in the road.
Speaker 13
Just don't crash. Yeah.
That's all you got to do, son.
Speaker 13
I don't even need you to win this race. Just get the car around the track and don't crash.
That's a good one. Keep it in first gear.
Speaker 12 See, I told you it was for the cook.
Speaker 13
Because, see, I already know what's going to happen when you get to four. God, you let me hit you right.
You're going to either burn the clutch out or you're going to script the gear.
Speaker 13 What you going to do, Ocho? What are you going to do?
Speaker 12
Come on, man. Hold on.
I don't need you to win the race. I just need you to get the car around the track.
Boy, that's a bar.
Speaker 13 Huh? Get it around the track.
Speaker 12 That's a bar. You don't even understand.
Speaker 13 You don't even understand what you just did.
Speaker 12
Let me write this down. Hold on, man.
What are you cooking, what? God damn, but you need to be a pastor.
Speaker 13 Hey, I don't, Jake. I don't need, Jake, you think we need you to be 15 and two?
Speaker 12 Right.
Speaker 13 Get us the 10.
Speaker 13 Can you get us the level?
Speaker 13 Can you get us to 10 and 7?
Speaker 13 Get us to 10 and 7.
Speaker 15
What a matchup we got, y'all. This is that classic HBCU vibe.
Non-stop at you.
Speaker 16 The band is rocking and the crowd lick.
Speaker 15
Chants echo. Drumbeat.
Everybody's showing that school pride. A game like this? Yeah, it calls for an ice-cold Coca-Cola.
Speaker 15 Ah, crisp and refreshing. That's a game changer right there.
Speaker 13 Mmm, yeah.
Speaker 15 That That taste always hits the right note, just like a band at halftime.
Speaker 15
And just like that, we're back at it. Passionate fans, school colors everywhere, and an ice cold Coca-Cola, that's a winning combo.
No matter the sport, no matter the yard, everybody knows.
Speaker 15 Fan work is thirsty work. So grab a Coca-Cola and keep that HBCU pride going.

Speaker 17 What's up, it's Big Lone from It's Up Dead Podcast.
Speaker 17 On this episode, we're unpacking the difference between toxic love and a real bond how so many of us were taught to survive love instead of experiencing it a lot of men think being solid means being silent i'm good i got it that's the script we memorize before we even know ourselves because somewhere along the line expression got labeled weakness so now we perform composure while we're falling apart you'll share your body but not a conversation and that's not intimacy but what if being a man really means you care enough to communicate?
Speaker 17 Real love isn't loud, it's consistent. It's the small things, the small check-ins, the shared accountability, the honesty that feels awkward, but keeps everyone safe.
Speaker 17 Stop confusing numbness with dependability. We got to break the cycle and break the pattern.
Speaker 17 This special episode of It's Up There Podcast with Long brought to you by Healthy Sexual from Gilead Sciences on the iHeart radio app or wherever you get your podcast.
Speaker 8 This is Rob Gronkowski from Dudes on Dudes with Gronk and Jules. For the second season in a row, I partnered with T-Mobile's Friday Night 5G Lights, powering up hometown football across America.
Speaker 8
This year, T-Mobile invested over $4 million in prizes to help schools take their Friday nights to the next level. The votes are in.
And now it's time to crown our $1 million grand prize winner.
Speaker 8 Congratulations to Derricks High School in Derricks, Arkansas, home of the Outlaws and your 2025 T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights Champion.
Speaker 8 The Outlaws and their community rallied to help them score a game-changing home field upgrade, a Grant Fitness Weight Room Makeover, an epic 2026 tailgate party, and a VIP trip to the SEC championship game.
Speaker 8 To every school that competed, posted and rallied your communities. Thank you.
Speaker 8 And to T-Mobile for making it all possible this season may be over but the story isn't stay tuned for season three in 2026 congratulations again to derrick's high school outlaws
Speaker 13 10 and 7 might be might be something might be something we can look at yeah
Speaker 13 especially with anti-texons one and four the titans one and four okay they got two teams in that division are playing really well you got the uh the afc south you got the jags and you got the colts they cutting up.
Speaker 12 They cutting up.
Speaker 12
They cutting up. It's funny.
Two of the teams that are always three and four are now one and two,
Speaker 12 battling with a chance to win that division in the AFC South. Well, obviously,
Speaker 12 let me take that back because when Peyton Manning was there, they dominated the AFC South.
Speaker 13 For sure. Absolutely.
Speaker 12 Let me just say it, as of recent, it hasn't been like that.
Speaker 13 No, no, no, no, no, no. Basically, since Andrew Luck left,
Speaker 13 it hasn't been like that.
Speaker 12 Hey, listen, I'm excited. You think about what we are too as a Bengo fan.
Speaker 12 I'm sure we have some Bengo fans in the chat and just fans of football in the chat in general if you think about us and what we are right now we at the bottom huh we at the bottom there's nowhere else there's no other place we can go but up from this point on yeah based on what we saw last week there's only one place we can go we got flacco in there i'm optimistic i'm optimistic
Speaker 12 what choice do you have oh joe right and then and then a lot of people you got some people obviously here some bango fans oh why we go get joe flacco there were no viable options they talk about well why didn't we get anybody who could run why didn't we get anybody mobile?
Speaker 13 Who's out there that is mobile? Call Amazon and see if they can take you a quarterback.
Speaker 12
Exactly. This ain't this ain't madness.
This is real life. This is real life.
What we need is not like quarterbacks, like goddamn Apple Tree. You just go pick one you want to replace the next one.
Speaker 12
That is one of the reasons why it's so difficult to not only find a quarterback, but find a transcending generational talent like a Joe Burrow. You can't replace it.
No.
Speaker 12 You can't replace lamar jackson if he's injured as you can see with the ravens struggling you can't replace a goddamn josh allen or patrick mahomes or justin herbert you can
Speaker 13 but can we get can we get a carson went Can he do what Carson Wentz is doing for the Minnesota Vikings until J.J. McCarthy comes back? Because he's making it hard on Kevin O'Connell to put J.J.
Speaker 13
McCarthy ass back in the ballgame, considering how well he's actually playing since J.J. McCarthy's been out.
More touchdowns, fewer interceptions. That's what it is.
Speaker 13 Now, look, in this situation, you're not going to make it difficult for them not to put Joe Burrow ass back in there.
Speaker 13 He's making far too much money, and he's a far superior quarterback to what you are. But with that being said,
Speaker 13
bro, you got to, this is how bad it is. This is how bad Jake Browning is.
His QBR is actually higher than Joe Flacco.
Speaker 13 But when you desperate, Ocho, hey, somebody said, man, look, if one aspirin,
Speaker 13 if two aspirin
Speaker 13 will clear your headache, you won't have a headache in, say, an hour.
Speaker 13 Well,
Speaker 13
and that's what Jerry Kraus, Jerry Reinsdorf asked Michael Jordan. But it's a true analogy.
You know, one aspirin, take two aspirins,
Speaker 13 pain should
Speaker 13 subside in a couple of hours. Well, if I take 10,
Speaker 13 it's probably going to kill you. And he asked, Mike, would you take 10? He said, well, how bad is my headache?
Speaker 13 A desperate person will do a desperate thing. Desperate teams do desperate things.
Speaker 13 This was a desperate move because the actuality, the quarterback that you had starting is actually playing better than the quarterback you're replacing him with. But
Speaker 13
you see it? When you get desperate, Ojo, when you get desperate, you make desperate decisions. You don't think clearly.
You don't see clearly. All I know is that my guy isn't playing well.
Speaker 13 Well, let's grab that guy. You do realize that guy got benched also.
Speaker 12 Yes.
Speaker 13 I can see if you got a I want to trade for your starter. No, you traded for a guy that got benched.
Speaker 12
Can I say something? Yes, we traded for a guy that got benched, obviously. But the guy that got benched that's coming to the Bengals has a much better supporting cast around him right now.
Now,
Speaker 12 again, the one issue I did say, because despite coming, despite coming here to a much better supporting cast,
Speaker 12 if that front four or that front five, what it is, five, don't do what they need to do
Speaker 12 and be a wall for two seconds.
Speaker 12
Give me a wall for two seconds. That's all I need.
Give me two.
Speaker 12 If you can give me two, we can do something with one and five.
Speaker 13 Well, you better keep Flacco in the shotgun because it's going to take him longer than three to get this drop. Back pedal.
Speaker 12 That's fine. That's fine.
Speaker 12
We can put him back there in the shotgun. So we can already process.
So we can already process. He can see what's in front of him right away.
Speaker 12 And it doesn't take him that much long to get that ball out. And you know one thing about Flacco boy, he got an arm on him.
Speaker 13 Oh, he can throw it now.
Speaker 13 He can still make all the throws.
Speaker 13
He's going to throw Chase and Higgins by three. Now he's going to throw the other team by two.
Now, it's just a matter of whether they're going to catch him or not.
Speaker 13 Because he's going to give everybody, he's an equal opportunity employer.
Speaker 13
He believes in DEI. diversity, equity, inclusion.
So he going to diversify touchdowns and interceptions. He's going to make it equality and he's going to include the defense in what the hell he doing.
Speaker 13 So I'm just letting y'all know,
Speaker 13
Bingo fans, you are, listen, you remember him when he was at the Ravens. You remember him when he was at Cleveland.
You already know. And you just got a glimpse of him earlier this year.
Speaker 13 So you know who and what he is. So if you think you're going to get 2012 playoff flacco, that is.
Speaker 13
He was never ever able to replicate. He could never really put a regular season together like he could those playoff runs.
Oh, Joe, he had some of the great playoff runs.
Speaker 12
Hey, crazy work in the playoffs. Crazy work.
But again, you think about what he had offensively with the Ravens, even back then, with that playoff run, even with that
Speaker 12 run. Hell, I could just, I could, I honestly, I can honestly say throughout his entirety of his career, he ain't never had nothing like he got working with right now.
Speaker 13 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, he had a better offensive line, but he didn't have, you know, um, I'm trying to think who was his running back back then.
Speaker 13 I don't even remember who his running back was. I know Anquan Boulder was one of the receivers.
Speaker 12
27. 27.
27.
Speaker 13 Ray Rice.
Speaker 12 Yes, I believe so.
Speaker 13
Okay. I believe so.
Yeah.
Speaker 13
But I think the thing is, Ocho, he's going to need time to throw. Like you said, he doesn't have mobility.
He's not a guy that you can move. I mean, are you going to move the pocket with him?
Speaker 13
You can't zone read with him. I mean, you're limited.
Basically, hey, Ocho, he's a drop back. He's a prototypical 70s, 80s drop back quarterback.
That's what he is.
Speaker 13
He's not like these quarterbacks that we have today. All the quarterbacks they are slightly mobile, some more than over, or others.
But Ocho, he is what he is. And you.
Speaker 12 Yeah. I mean, listen, even though Joe Burrow ain't Lamar Jackson.
Speaker 12 Joe Burrow ain't goddamn Josh Allen, but his ability to manipulate the pocket and feel pressure and being able to escape it and make throws down the field is second to none.
Speaker 12 He's really good at escaping the pocket despite not being the considered dual threat that those quarterbacks I just named are. Listen, I'm hoping we do well.
Speaker 12
And the onus, it all comes down to the offensive line. Yeah.
As they go, the better they play, the better we play offensively.
Speaker 13 I think they're going to try to, you know, you go in the draft and you try to draft an offensive lineman.
Speaker 13 If somebody comes available, you know, Ocho in free agency, you get somebody to come to your team, you have to overpay because you're asking this man to uproot where he's been the last three, four, five years, six years, seven years, where he's gotten comfortable.
Speaker 13
He's established himself in the community. If he has a wife, his wife is interested in the community.
We got kids. They got friends and they've been in school.
Speaker 13 So you're going to have to overpay to get one of those guys or an offensive tackle or a guard or a center to come join your team. So you're going to have to overpay to get one of those guys.
Speaker 13 And then, you know, you go in the draft and you try to find the best offensive lineman because you're going to be drafting pretty high up if this thing doesn't get turned around, Ocho.
Speaker 13 Unfortunately, that's that's, you know, you might end up being a top 10.
Speaker 13 And I don't know, like I said, I haven't seen any projections just yet, but there might be a situation where you have to go in and take a lineman in the top 10.
Speaker 13
Now, we know, look, Anthony Munoz is the best offensive lineman that they've had. Willie, I know, hey, I know Big Willie.
Big Willie.
Speaker 13 He's from my home state, went to Auburn. But
Speaker 13 you guys need an offensive line bad, don't you?
Speaker 12
Yeah, we do. We do.
I'm just hoping those young bulls, those young bulls that we do have, especially those that have gotten paid,
Speaker 12 they've been paid a nice ransom. I'm hoping they can show up
Speaker 12 and pay dividends, you know, and play like the money that they've received so far.
Speaker 12
I'm excited for them. Obviously, getting Joe Burrow, despite where we are right now, we're still two and three.
The season is salvageable.
Speaker 12 I know what Joe can do, but the only way to allow joe to cook the only way he can be that chef the head chef is he needs a little time if he gets a little time on you give joe any time but he is surgical with that ball that's for any of you that in the chat that know football even though he can't move he got an arm on him yes he got two of the best he got he got the best maybe arguably depending on who you ask the best dude to throw to
Speaker 12
So I'm excited. I'm optimistic.
And we can't go anywhere but up from here because we're at the bottom of the barrel right now.
Speaker 15
Woo-hoo, what a batchup we got, y'all. This is that classic HBCU vibe.
Non-stop action, the band is rocking and the crowd lick, chants echo, drum beat, everybody showing that school pride.
Speaker 15 A game like this, yeah, it calls for an ice-cold Coca-Cola.
Speaker 15 Ah, crisp and refreshing. That's a game changer right there.
Speaker 13 Mmm, yeah.
Speaker 15 That taste always hits the right note, just like the band at halftime.
Speaker 15
And just like that, we're back at it. Passionate fans, school colors everywhere, and an ice-cold Coca-Cola, that's a winning combo.
No matter the sport, no matter the yard, everybody knows.
Speaker 15 Fan work is thirsty work. So grab a Coca-Cola and keep that HBCU pride going.

Speaker 17 What's up, it's Big Lone from It's Up Dead Podcast. On this episode, we're unpacking the difference between toxic love and a real bond.
Speaker 17 How so many of us were taught to survive love instead of experiencing it. A lot of men think being solid means being silent.
Speaker 13 I'm good.
Speaker 17
I got it. That's the script we memorize before we even know ourselves.
Because somewhere along the line, expression got labeled weakness. So now we perform composure while we're falling apart.
Speaker 17
You'll share your body, but not a conversation, and that's not intimacy. But what if being a man really means you care enough to communicate? Real love isn't loud.
It's consistent.
Speaker 17 It's the small things, the small check-ins, the shared accountability, the honesty that feels awkward, but keeps everyone safe. Stop confusing numbness with dependability.
Speaker 17 We got to break the cycle and break the pattern.
And now, it's time to crown our $1 million grand prize winner.
Speaker 8
To every school that competed, posted, and rallied your communities, thank you. And to T-Mobile for making it all possible.
This season may be over, but the story isn't.
Speaker 8 Stay tuned for season three in 2026.
Speaker 8 Congratulations again to Derek's High School Outlaws.
Speaker 13 Kevin Stefanski was non-committal on whether rookie Stuart Sanders or practice squad Bailey Zappi would be the team's backup quarterback in the aftermath of trading Joe Flacco to the Bengals.
Speaker 13 Stefanski said he would
Speaker 13 let the week play out and make the decision later when asked about QB2 role.
Speaker 13 Stefanski also would not say if the team would sign Zappi to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game so that one of the backups would serve as the inactive emergency quarterback.
Speaker 13 Oh, Joe, what are we doing?
Speaker 13 It's already been reported that Bailey Zappi was taking
Speaker 13 a lot of the practice squad snaps.
Speaker 9 Yeah.
Speaker 12 Listen, Kevin Stefanski is really enjoying this moment.
Speaker 12 Kevin Stefan is making the Browns organization basically Jerry Springer.
Speaker 12 He's making it basically Maury Povich when Maury Povin does the goddamn DNA test
Speaker 12 and the girl or the girl gets up screaming and they run around with the camera.
Speaker 13 Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 12 That's exactly what he's making it. He's making a mockery of the situation and enjoying it.
Speaker 12
He's enjoying it. Just announced the goddamn quarterback.
Who quarterback number two? If Bailey Zap, you've been taking the practice reps knowing that Shador, Joe Flacco going.
Speaker 12 If Shador was already number three and goddamn Delivery Gabriel goes to number one and Joe Flacco going, then that makes goddamn Shador number two. Why are we playing these goddamn mind games?
Speaker 13 Like, what do you, what, what are my thing was ocho if he was let's just say for the sake of argument joe flacco started okay when joe flacco was there joe flacco was one bailey zappi was two excuse me uh dylan gabriel was two shadur was three but the report said bailey zappy was getting the practice squad they signed him off somebody else team and put him on their practice squad he comes in or taking reps that should
Speaker 13 be getting so with that being said i understood the assignment ain't no way dylan graber is gonna be taking all those reps and somehow come game, come this regular season.
Speaker 13 Shadur Sanders is going to pole vault in front of him. So if Bailey Zappy is taking those reps,
Speaker 13 practice squad reps, Ocho, what's the likelihood? Now, I'm not saying it can't happen, but what's the likelihood?
Speaker 12 Hey,
Speaker 13 I don't know what they're doing. I don't know.
Speaker 13
I'm not so sure Cleveland knows what they're doing. Maybe they're waiting on Deshaun to come back.
I don't know. It says he's been out there.
He's been throwing. And I don't know, Ocho.
Speaker 13 But I just know: look,
Speaker 13 they've made
Speaker 13 a mockery of this.
Speaker 13 We've talked about Cleveland more in the first six weeks of this year than we have at any point in time. And it's not all good.
Speaker 13 But I don't know what, I really don't know what to make of this. It's
Speaker 13 we're going to let it play out.
Speaker 13 What you going to let play out?
Speaker 13 I can see if this was a training camp battle, Ocho. Yeah,
Speaker 13 and let it play out.
Speaker 13 I'm trying to figure out what can someone do in a week of practice, Ocho, that's going to change your mind from where you stand right now to move like, oh, well, he had a great week of practice.
Speaker 12 Nothing.
Speaker 13 Whoop-de-doo.
Speaker 12
Nothing at all. Again, that's why I said they're making a mockery of the situation.
That's all.
Speaker 12 What's going on, you gotta say,
Speaker 13 it's not a, it's uh.
Speaker 13 They're asking him, they're asking Shador, what
Speaker 13 that's Dylan Gabriel. You ask him, what do you think about, I'm not playing.
Speaker 13 Ask Dylan Gabriel, what does he think about Joe Flacco being traded? Why are you asking me? I'm the backup to the backup that just got started.
Speaker 13 See, they're always trying to put a microphone because they're always trying to get him to slip up. They're always trying to catch him off his guard, don't you?
Speaker 13 They always trying.
Speaker 13 They don't ask any other quarterback. They They don't ask the third string or they don't ask the practice squad guy, what do you think about somebody getting traded?
Speaker 13
But somehow the microphone always seemed to find Shadur. They're hoping he mess up.
They hope he has a proverbial slip. You see, that's why he's not starting.
Speaker 13 You see, he needs to keep his mouth closed. You see, this is why he...
Speaker 12 Well, he is a news cycle, huh? It's the last name in general. They haven't had somebody this polarizing that's not even in, that's not even in an important role as of yet.
Speaker 12
They've never had anybody like this before. They haven't.
And they don't even know how to handle the situation in general.
Speaker 12 Most of the time in a situation like this, when you have something as polarizing, a polarizing figure like that, you do everything you can to stay away from it.
Speaker 12
But no, they're engaging with it in purpose to keep the Cleveland Browns in the news cycle. No different than the goddamn Dallas Cowboys.
Right.
Speaker 13 No damn different. Man, if I was to do, I'd say, look, man, when I'm starting, when Coach Stefanski tells me I'm starting, then I'll talk to you guys.
Speaker 13 What other backup quarterback they talking to?
Speaker 12 You can't do that, though, but you understand the rules, though. You know, you understand the rules.
Speaker 13
But I'm trying to figure out, oh, Joe, I'm trying to think. They're not asking Jameis Winston no questions.
They're not asking Russ any questions. Now, all the questions are to Jackson Dart.
Speaker 12 Arden Carney here, right, right.
Speaker 13 So my only thing is, okay, so why do you continuously ask a backup? That's not playing. Why are you continuously asking? Why are you continuously asking them questions?
Speaker 13 What do you hope to get from him?
Speaker 12 I can tell you what they're hoping.
Speaker 13 I know what they're hoping also.
Speaker 12 Hey,
Speaker 12 they hoping, like when you go to the Army, like when you go to the Marines, like when you go to the Navy, they're trying to break you in the beginning to see if you are the one.
Speaker 12 Are you built for this? Mentally. That's all.
Speaker 13 They waiting on him to snap, huh?
Speaker 12
They waiting on him to snap. I'm telling you, he has to understand it.
I can see the play. I can can see the play all the way.
I can see the play way before it happened, all the way before it started.
Speaker 12
How can you not see it if you understand the game and the games that they're playing? I can see it as clear as day. Your owner coming out and saying some of the things he said.
He got training camp.
Speaker 12
Oh, I see what this is. Okay, now I got to play the game.
I see what you, I see what y'all are trying to do.
Speaker 13 Right.
Speaker 12
You got to play the game. Now you're in their structured environment.
You got to play by their rules.
Speaker 13 Yeah.
Speaker 13 You're right.
Speaker 12 listen i even even i was in that position at one point
Speaker 13 my feet ain't wet i got my toe in the water i got my toe in the water but my feet ain't wet just as of yet but but once once i got in the water fully oh but you seen you seen every bit of day county liberty city come up out of me oh cho we got breaking news another major trade between the jags and the browns jaguars get cornerback greg newsom and jets 2026 sixth round picks from the brown browns get tyson campbell the eagles 2026 seventh round picks from the Jags.
Speaker 13 The trade partners from the night of the 2025 draft now pull off another mid-season trade.
Speaker 12 Hey, listen,
Speaker 12
that's a good try. That's a good trade.
Now, I don't understand why they're...
Speaker 13 For the Jags, yeah, the Jags going for it.
Speaker 12 Oh, yeah, listen, especially for the Jags.
Speaker 12 And this is the thing I would get ready to say. Greg Newsom is a phenomenal, honk.
Speaker 13 For sure.
Speaker 12 Greg Newsome ain't no slouch. You know, we understand what Denzel Ward is on the other side, but when they try to go to Greg Newsome's side, but that young boy can play some ball.
Speaker 12 So this is a win for the Jags. And with great understanding of why they did it, it's because, oh, we finna push all our chips to the front.
Speaker 12 We pushing all our chips to the front because we really believe we have a chance right now with the way Trevor Lawrence is playing.
Speaker 13 Yep.
Speaker 12
Hey, that's that's respectable. And if you're a Jaguars fan, I commend ownership.
I commend your GM and I commend your goddamn head coach. They done pushed all their chips on the table.
We going in.
Speaker 12 Hey, Uncle the chat, funny as hell, Uncle.
Speaker 13 What happened?
Speaker 12
They just been going in on you. They going in on me.
Tell me, I look like Devo.
Speaker 12 I look like a Mexican with this damn flat on.
Speaker 13 What they're going on me for? What I do?
Speaker 13 Go ahead. What I do, Ocho.
Speaker 12 They kill, they killing me.
Speaker 13
What they say I do. Hold on, chat.
What I do.
Speaker 13
I was just asking. I was just asking questions.
Damn. I can't ask no questions.
Speaker 12 It ain't funny, boy.
Speaker 13 Look,
Speaker 13
I know you guys think, but here's the real. When it comes to track and field, I don't have a research team.
I'm old enough to remember. Y'all, I'm 57.
Speaker 13
So I go all the way back. I remember the 84 Olympics.
I remember Seoul. I remember Barcelona.
I remember Atlanta. I remember Athens.
Speaker 13
What y'all want me? I remember Sydney was in 2000. Athens was in 04.
Beijing was eight. London was 12.
Rio was 16, 21. I remember what y'all want me to do.
Speaker 13
I remember the world championships when they came out. I'm sorry that y'all can't remember your way home.
That ain't my fault.
Speaker 13 I've told you, if you know Shannon Sharp, if you've watched me at any point in time, I told people my favorite sport is track and field. Yes, I love football and I know the history of football.
Speaker 13 I know the history of basketball, but I love track and field.
Speaker 13
I playing around the track and field. I mean, if I didn't really have to talk about football, I'd go to the gym.
But when track and field on, I ain't going nowhere.
Speaker 13 It's the only sports that I watch with the sound.
Speaker 13 No other sport will I watch with the sound.
Speaker 13 And to for them to take their time out to come on nightcap, what other platform other than my boy Justin Gatlin and his partner that give track and field athletes the platform like we do?
Speaker 12
Okay, well, yeah, you're right. You're right about that.
Hey, you know what?
Speaker 13
I'm sorry that, you know, I asked questions that I think the chat would want to hear. What do you eat? What are your training sessions like? X, Y, and Z.
Yes.
Speaker 13
So I'm just, I'm confused at what y'all think I'm supposed to do. Like, like stutter or go through it? Yes.
There are no notes on here with Anna Hall. I know who she is.
I know she's a Florida alum.
Speaker 13 I know she's from Colorado.
Speaker 13 I mean,
Speaker 13 yeah.
Speaker 12 Y'all, don't worry about it because they still killing me. They told me I look like Jody from baby boy,
Speaker 13
man. People weird.
I'd be like,
Speaker 13 I'm not supposed to ask any questions. Like, I'm supposed to be like, uh, uh, uh, uh, what do you, what do you like? No, I know that, I know the history.
Speaker 13 I can't wait for us to have Ryan Krauser on so I can talk to him about the shot.
Speaker 13 The greatest, the greatest shot putter ever. Anna was talking about uh uh uh
Speaker 13 the uh Jackie's record that she said in Soul 7291 seems unbreakable. That woman shot put of the USSR, ain't nobody breaking that one.
Speaker 13 No. No.
Speaker 13 No.
Speaker 12
No. And you know what's funny? It's the same way you are about track and field.
One of the one sporting, one of the one sporting.
Speaker 13 You like that about soccer?
Speaker 12 Oh, my God. Boy, soccer come on.
Speaker 12 My phone on Do Not Disturb.
Speaker 12
On Saturdays and Sunday, I'm mad. I fly to London in the morning.
My flight at five o'clock. I'm mad that I'm going to London and everybody on goddamn international break.
Speaker 12
Everybody on international break. So that would have been the perfect time for me to catch a goddamn game.
I could sneak and go catch a game. Right.
Everybody's gone.
Speaker 13 Ocho, does this mean we'll see Travis full-time on offense? Greg Newsom was the number 26 pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Tyson Campbell was picked 33 in that same draft, just seven picks apart.
Speaker 12 You know what? I'm curious what they're going to do because they have a phenomenal nigga in Jordan Lewis, right?
Speaker 12 I'm not sure who's on the other side, but you know, Greg News is coming in on one side and he's going to be that guy, that guy that can do it.
Speaker 12 I still think they know Travis Hunter wants to continue to contribute on defense.
Speaker 12 I think he'll continue to have those packages. They're going to find ways to
Speaker 12
fit him in there at some point. But what we saw offensively, he's too dynamic, huh? They have to find ways to get in the ball on offense.
He's too dynamic.
Speaker 12 You put the ball in the area, anywhere in the vicinity. He's going to make that play, especially those jump balls that are 80-50-50.
Speaker 13 Where he can showcase his athleticism.
Speaker 12 Yeah, they become 80-20 with somebody like that.
Speaker 12 Yeah, so I mean, listen, he's too dynamic, you know, in showing flashes of brilliance, in which we saw at Colorado on both sides of the ball.
Speaker 12 So I hope they allow him to continue to doing this thing on both sides,
Speaker 12
giving them a healthy. a healthy count on both sides of the ball.
We're going to be effective and efficient,
Speaker 12 but they don't overload him. and he's able to at easy he's able to play at his best on both sides
Speaker 13 and that's what it comes down to because they they they need a a special player yeah on one side of the ball or other it doesn't work for them if he's average on both sides of the ball ojo he has to be dynamic on one or the other right because that's why you traded up ocho that's why you gave up what you gave up to get it Because if you gave up what you get it and you just got an average player, that doesn't make sense to me.
Speaker 13 So let him be dynamic. Let him be dynamic.
Speaker 13 and then you like you said bring him in on a package i me personally i still think he's better at defense i think his his instincts his ball skills are just second to none i i know you like it because of the jump ball but right now it's just athleticism now once he learns the route tree i give prime example tyreek remember when tyreek first came in he was a gadget guy and then all of a sudden tyreek learned the route tree Tyreek has played his way into a Hall of Famer.
Speaker 13 Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 13
Travis Hunter has that kind of ability. He just got to get better at running the route.
Right now, they only run him on spots and jump balls.
Speaker 12 Yeah, if I could get, if I could, Trav, I know you're going to see this. If I can get with you in the offseason,
Speaker 12
Trav, I need you for two months. Two months.
We working four days a week.
Speaker 12
All I need is an hour, all your time for four weeks. I know you already have your training.
I'm not trying to step on nobody's toes. I'm talking about running routes.
Speaker 13 Yeah.
Speaker 12
I'm talking about giving the illusion of doing something that you really not at full speed. Oh, my goodness, brother, brother.
What I could do with you.
Speaker 13 Oh, my goodness, what I could do with you. Who takes you up on that, Ocho?
Speaker 12 And listen,
Speaker 12 now you know that's my specialty now.
Speaker 13 I do.
Speaker 12 Man,
Speaker 12 hey, Trav, come on, holler at your boy in the offseason. I don't need much time.
Speaker 12 I will day.
Speaker 12 That's it. Rock running?
Speaker 13 I wish they would come up there and play press.
Speaker 12 Come on up here if you want to.
Speaker 13 Ocho, just days after his most embarrassing moment of the season, Chief Pass Rusher Chris Jones addressed why why he didn't give maximum effort on the Jaguars' game-winning touchdown.
Speaker 13
Jones says, it's a teaching point for me. A little adversity.
I think I can't think the play is over. It's a learning lesson.
I thought it was over. I thought we had him down.
Speaker 13
So I kind of stopped and was about to celebrate. Then I realized he wasn't down.
Chris Jones is one of the core leaders of the Chief and to see him take a playoff in that situation doesn't seem real.
Speaker 13 It does sum up. But
Speaker 13 for me, I thought they were going to let him score. That's what I would have done, Ocho.
Speaker 13
That way, hey, let them score right now. I need maximum time.
But I think it caught him off guard that they was passing the ball instead of running it.
Speaker 13 So
Speaker 13
maybe CJ, and I'm like, this is me thinking for him. Right.
Because it's hard for me to believe that
Speaker 13 I saw it in real time. I was like, damn, CJ.
Speaker 13
But I thought that... And maybe they did think that they were going to run the ball.
And I think they were a little surprised that the Chiefs passed the ball.
Speaker 13 But in a situation like that,
Speaker 13
you can't assume. He knows that.
I mean, he knew that, but now he really knows that. And, you know, obviously, Andy had to talk, Red had to talk to him.
Speaker 13 It's just not a good look. And he knows that you're talking about one of the premier deep tackles, a three-time Super Bowl champ,
Speaker 13 a multiple-time all-pro player. He's probably, he's more than likely going to be the all-pro defensive tackle of the 2020s.
Speaker 13 Can't have that on your resume. Right.
Speaker 13 Like he said, a it's a teachable moment
Speaker 13 i don't think i i don't think we'll we'll have that issue with cj again
Speaker 12 yeah i mean listen i think
Speaker 12 you think about how many 65 snaps i'm not sure how many play on defense yeah all of them all of them aren't a hundred percent effort but you can't look like you did on that play
Speaker 13 no can't look like
Speaker 12 there's a microscope on you being who you are aaron donald's no longer playing so you are considered widely as the best defensive tackle in the game.
Speaker 12 So there's a camera always on you from every goddamn angle.
Speaker 13
You're absolutely right. Jones also said his social media accounts weren't deactivated as an attempt to avoid criticism.
Oh, you're back in your day.
Speaker 13 We didn't really have to deal with social media 24-7, the Twitter,
Speaker 13 you know, viral takes.
Speaker 13 Do you think athletes in today's game? face more criticism than they did in years past?
Speaker 12
Well, absolutely. Absolutely.
Because not only you have to deal with the media, you have to deal with the fans as well. Now, before the fans, the fans had no way of having access to you.
Speaker 12 You didn't have to see it. You just have to hear it either on radio or on TV.
Speaker 12 Now, you deal with much more, way more criticism, and they critique you way more when you don't play well or things don't happen or you get hit hard or you fumble the ball.
Speaker 12 You got to deal with it from everybody and all the social media. So you have to have thick skin, huh?
Speaker 12
You have to have thick skin, especially to be a player in this era, especially to be a great player in in this era. It has to go on one end out the other.
You have to be able to ignore it.
Speaker 12 At times, you have to be able to laugh at yourself and laugh at your mistakes in order to continue to function at a high level in whatever respect of craft it is you're doing, just not football in general.
Speaker 12 Whether it be you're a rapper or
Speaker 12 you play football, you play tennis.
Speaker 12 Everything is everywhere. Now, you know,
Speaker 12 you become a meme. And sometimes
Speaker 12 you got to take the jokes for what they are. and you have to laugh at yourself and pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and just go again.
Speaker 13 Yeah,
Speaker 13 there's no question about it. Everybody that has a phone and have a social media account, they're a former NFL, NBA, MLB player, their former coach, their former general manager, their former BPA.
Speaker 13 So now everybody has an opinion, and you can see this opinion show up in real time.
Speaker 13
You're absolutely right, Ocho. With the meeting, you're not getting away with anything.
There was a time that the media would see a player doing something
Speaker 13
and it would never make the news. It would never make the papers.
That ain't happening now. No.
It's not happening.
Speaker 13
If they see you do something, it's getting reported because everybody wants to be first. Everybody wants to break the story.
It's like it's going to get out anyway. Right.
Speaker 13 So let me be the first to get it. So there is no longer
Speaker 13 that that bond that used to be between the great players and the reporters.
Speaker 13
That's over. That's long.
That's over. And now everybody has a camera.
So you can't do, even if you wanted to get away with something for the most part, it's hard to get away with stuff now. Right.
Speaker 13 Because just think about it. Jordan going out
Speaker 13
the night before and playing and playing and gambling. Boy, that was going to be on somebody's night.
Look at Michael Jordan before he played the Knicks. This is Michael Jordan
Speaker 13 at the blackjack table, y'all.
Speaker 13 What's going on? Yeah.
Speaker 12 Cameras everywhere too now.
Speaker 13 Everywhere.
Speaker 12 The funny thing, knowing Jordan and how he was, his mannerisms his persona in general man he wouldn't give to you know what oh absolutely what you don't why you think you don't see his ass out now
Speaker 12 well he really can't be out
Speaker 13 he couldn't be out
Speaker 13 jordan hadn't been able jordan hadn't been able to be
Speaker 13 my jordan since he was at unc yeah
Speaker 13 the moment he hit the league
Speaker 13
It was a wrap. And did that? It was over.
Rap, yeah. And Willie, and when he got those red and black shoes, it was good night Irene.
Speaker 12 Yeah, it was a wrap.
Speaker 13 It was a wrap.
Speaker 13 Yeah.
Speaker 13 Think about it, Ocho.
Speaker 13
He's really Michael Jackson. They've really never been able to enjoy.
I mean, you got to write the whole movie theater. You want to go out to a movie? You got to write the whole theater out.
Speaker 13 You want to take the kids' skate? You got to write the whole skating rink out.
Speaker 12 I couldn't live like that.
Speaker 13 It would be hard.
Speaker 12 everything is under microscope just imagine how everything how everything looks so big on the microscope that's how you look in the public eyes now that i don't mind i don't care i don't kidding about the microscope because what you see is what you get what you see is what you get i don't i don't i'm i don't play a character uh this is just me but the whole not being able to go anywhere i'm too sociable I love conversing with people.
Speaker 12 I love seeing people and hugging it and saying.
Speaker 13 You wouldn't be that way if you was that. You don't think that.
Speaker 13 boy, you can't be boy, you couldn't be like that with that kind of money. Boy, people will get you.
Speaker 12 Oh, oh, you're talking about the money, the money-wise.
Speaker 13 Okay, okay, yeah.
Speaker 13 What person you don't have popular don't have money?
Speaker 12
Hold on, hold on, hold on. I got money now.
What you saying?
Speaker 13 Not like that.
Speaker 12 Okay, okay.
Speaker 13 They uh, uh, buddy, chop your head off.
Speaker 12 Yeah, I got a question.
Speaker 13 What?
Speaker 12 What can Michael Jordan LeBron do
Speaker 12 that I can't do?
Speaker 13 Go to the mall.
Speaker 13 They can't do that.
Speaker 13 We just talked about it, man. What you can't do.
Speaker 13 You can't go.
Speaker 13 But that's what you have to be able to do. If you're a Jay-Z, where Jay-Z gonna go?
Speaker 12 where be where beyonce gonna go where taylor swift gonna go you think taylor swift can call up her girlfriend girl let's go to the mall girl let's go get us a drink where they going yeah i couldn't do it i couldn't do it i'm i'm i'm i'm one of the i'm i'm i've always been accessible i don't care how big i get which is probably why god would never bless me with that type of with that type of wealth because he know damn well i'm gonna be at the mall He know damn well I'm gonna be at the McDonald's drive-thru.
Speaker 12 He knows damn well I'm gonna be at every soccer game I can get to. It's not happening.
Speaker 12 He knows damn well, I'm going to still be on my grandma's porch in Liberty City and have everybody driving around to see if I'm sitting out there. I'm not, I can't.
Speaker 13 I can't. I mean, you might be out there, but you're going to have security and then you're going to be up in a box.
Speaker 13 You ain't going to be in the stands.
Speaker 12 It ain't the same, huh?
Speaker 12 When you go to a sporting event, especially.
Speaker 13 You're not the same.
Speaker 13
You look at that through the privilege of that. You're the same.
You're not the same.
Speaker 13 you can still have some of the same friends and y'all but they come to you right
Speaker 13 they go someplace they take the whole island over you see most of the time you see where do you see them at on the yacht when you see jay-z how many security you see with him how many in that detail that security detail when you see mike
Speaker 13
damn that's that's that's your life now ocho That is your life. It's private jets.
It ain't no more spirit. It ain't no more in the airports.
It's not anymore that.
Speaker 12 Whoa, so you're telling me if I reach that type of wealth, I can't fly spirit no more?
Speaker 13
You're not flying that. That sounds good, but you're not flying that.
You're not going to be worth $1 billion, $5 billion, $10 billion, $30 billion and fly that. You're not.
Speaker 13 That's just like you don't buy the same. You buy Chrome Hearts.
Speaker 13 You see what you spend your money on? And I guarantee you, when you were younger, you're like, ain't no way I spent this much money for a car.
Speaker 12 Wait a minute.
Speaker 12 I didn't buy Chrome Hearts. That was a gift for my baby.
Speaker 13 You, hey, so everything that you got is a gift from your baby.
Speaker 13 Them watches, that jewelry, that Cuban, that house you got, all that gifts.
Speaker 8 Oh, nah, nah, nah.
Speaker 13 Exactly. You see, you see how you move accordingly to the
Speaker 13 resources? So just imagine. I gave you two, you worth $2 billion.
Speaker 13 Which means.
Speaker 12 Okay, let's reset. Let's hypothetically speaking.
Speaker 13 Okay.
Speaker 13 You worth $2 billion.
Speaker 12
Okay. Okay.
Okay.
Speaker 12 Okay.
Speaker 12 Okay. So tell me what you think I'm not going to do.
Speaker 13 And
Speaker 13
you're not walking, you're not walking in. You're not walking in a regular airport.
You're going to fly private because you have the kind of means to fly private.
Speaker 13 And
Speaker 13
because you're not going to run, Ocho, you're not going to run the risk. You're a high-value target.
Yeah.
Speaker 13 And I know why you think everybody is your friend. When you get that kind of money, you build up a lot of enemies also.
Speaker 12 Damn. I got,
Speaker 12 you think I got enemies right now?
Speaker 13 you think hell yeah
Speaker 13 absolutely and the more money you get the more
Speaker 13 the more you get
Speaker 13 the more
Speaker 13 dissension dislike jealousy envy but but i'm along with it hey i'm a likable person you could ask anybody in the world what big it says more money more problems he didn't say more
Speaker 13 He didn't say more money, more friends. More money, more problems.
Speaker 12 You're right about that. You're right, but I just don't understand how anybody could not like me.
Speaker 13
Like, what I don't. I want you to get a billion.
So that's the only way I'm going to get my $5,900 back.
Speaker 12 Huh?
Speaker 13 That's the only way I'm going to get my $5,900 back if you get a billion.
Speaker 12
Nah, really. I get to you now.
But I told you, as long as I owe you, you'll never go broke.
Speaker 13 Well,
Speaker 12 I just see
Speaker 12 it's better suited in my hands as opposed to yours.
Speaker 13 So you're drawing interest on my money.
Speaker 12 I ain't drawing interest on your money, but I just got your best interest.
Speaker 13 You see how that works? I can show you that $5,900, man i got you i got you i got a few bills i need to pay
Speaker 12 what you need to pay ain't no 5900 though hey i can i can loan you something if you need it
Speaker 13 oh you gonna loan
Speaker 13 so you you owe me but you willing to loan me money you're gonna loan me my money chat how that makes sense
Speaker 13 Chad, this man just told me he owe me money, but he gonna loan me my money.
Speaker 12 Listen, I ain't gonna loan you the money out with what I owe you.
Speaker 13 I'm gonna loan you some money out of oh, you will pay me and then loan me extra. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 13 Okay, okay.
Speaker 13 Now I'm good.
Speaker 13 Yeah, but I think, look,
Speaker 13 I think everybody, I think everybody in iChat understands the level of scrutiny that these athletes face today.
Speaker 13
The older athletes didn't have to, didn't have to worry about that. They didn't have to worry about that.
They didn't have to worry about their business being.
Speaker 13 because if somebody wanted to tell your business where were they going
Speaker 13 oh oh he had
Speaker 13 recording somebody's phone call
Speaker 13 having somebody having cameras you know coming in and out
Speaker 13 hey
Speaker 12 i'm seeing a lot of that lately i'm seeing a lot of that lately and not not not sports related in general but i thought that was a federal offense i thought that was a felony and and recording someone it all depends on what state you're in oh okay california yeah they tell they tear you up with that.
Speaker 13 You can't record
Speaker 13 now a call.
Speaker 13 You're in someone's.
Speaker 13
Now, you have no, no, no, no leg to stand on in a public setting for privacy. You can't be out in the park and talk about, man, don't film me.
Nah.
Speaker 13
You can't be in the airport talking about don't film me. You do have a level of privacy in your own home.
Okay.
Speaker 13 You do have a level, like some states, it only matters that the person that's taping you, recording you, know that that's happening. Other than that,
Speaker 13 so it all depends on the state. It varies from state to state.
Speaker 13 But this level of
Speaker 13 criticism and scrutiny that guys,
Speaker 13 Serena and the women's athletes and the men athletes today,
Speaker 13 yeah, it's not even, it's not even close.
Speaker 13 Even Mike said it. Mike said he don't know how he would be able to function with this social media.
Speaker 12 No.
Speaker 13
Oh, Joe, after five weeks, Sports Illustrated has dropped their NFL quarterback ranking. Here they are.
Josh Allen is number one. Patrick Mahomes is number two.
I'm only going to do the top 10.
Speaker 13
Matthew Stafford is three. Lamar Jackson is four.
Jared Goff is five. Dak Prescott is six.
Baker Mayfield is seven. Justin Herbert is eight.
Jordan Love is nine. Drake May is 10.
Speaker 13 Okay, just for the sake of argument, we'll go through 15.
Speaker 13 Daniel Jones is 11.
Speaker 13
Jaden Daniels is 12th. Sam Darnell is 13th.
Jalen Hurts is 14th. CJ Stroud is 15th.
Bo Nicks is 20th. Jake Browning is 30.
Speaker 12 Can I be honest with you?
Speaker 13 Yes.
Speaker 12 I'm not sure when they made that list, but Daniel Jones and Baker Mayfield belong somewhere near the top, along with Josh Allen.
Speaker 13 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 13 If we're just talking about this year, Baker Mayfield got to be in the top five.
Speaker 12 Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen, whatever list this is, and whatever it it came out, it was basically
Speaker 12
done so far up into up to this week in the season, week five or week six, whatever. Yes, for sure.
Daniel Jones and Baker Mayfield deserve to be in the top of that.
Speaker 12 Somewhere Sam Donnell needs to be in there as well.
Speaker 13 Yeah.
Speaker 13 If we're just baking it on this week.
Speaker 12 Right.
Speaker 13 I'm not so sure that Baker Mayfield shouldn't be one.
Speaker 13
We're not, well, look, we're not talking about, look, we understand what Josh Allen's done. We understand what Patrick Mahomes has done.
We understand what Matthew Stafford has done.
Speaker 13 And we know the MVPs that Lamar has done. But
Speaker 13 if we're basing it on the first five weeks of this season,
Speaker 13
those guys haven't outplayed Baker Mayfield. I'm sorry.
And y'all know how I feel about Patrick Mahomes. And I love everybody that they got ranked,
Speaker 13
but they have not played. There are not six quarterbacks playing better than Baker Mayfield.
That is a lie. I don't care what your fan base is.
I don't care if you're a Bill.
Speaker 13 I don't care if you're a Chiefs. I don't care if you're the Rams, you
Speaker 13
Baltimore. There are not seven, six quarterbacks playing the quarterback position better than Baker Mayfield.
They're not.
Speaker 12 Hell shit. Or Daniel Jones, for that matter.
Speaker 13 No, they're not.
Speaker 12 He's a surprise. I didn't know.
Speaker 12 I could be one of them. I was a culprit, you know, who felt he wasn't going to succeed.
Speaker 13 Yes.
Speaker 12
I just thought he wasn't based on what we saw from him in New York. And for him to come to Indy and do what he's doing.
I'm like, man, what in the world? He done flip the whole script in the AFCC.
Speaker 12 He's playing phenomenal football, man. So I want to be the first to say I apologize and I was wrong.
Speaker 13 I told you he was going to start. You ain't pay.
Speaker 13 The guy that, the incumbent guy, the incumbent starter, which was Richardson, is making four or five million. They bring her back up in, making $14 million.
Speaker 13 And you think the guy that's making $14 million is going to be on the bench?
Speaker 12 Oh, yeah.
Speaker 13 Yeah.
Speaker 13
That wasn't like that. That's not happening.
Ocho, with the game that you just watched, do you think Jalen Hurst is ranked appropriate at 14?
Speaker 12 Ooh, move.
Speaker 13
Listen, we're not talking. He won the Super Bowl.
He's Super Bowl MVP based on what you've seen through the first five weeks of the season.
Speaker 13 Has he played better than Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, Drake May, Jordan Love? Has he played better than those guys?
Speaker 12
Glad you put it that way. I'm glad you put it that way.
If anything, you know what? He's appropriately ranked. He's appropriately ranked based on what they ask of him to do offensively.
Speaker 12 What they ask of him to do offensively, where the numbers are not going to be like any of those guys that's that's ahead of him.
Speaker 12 So, what he's asked to do, he is appropriately ranked right where he is.
Speaker 12 If that makes sense.
Speaker 13 All I know is
Speaker 13 there are not six quarterbacks that's currently playing the quarterback position better than Shake and Bake. They're just not.
Speaker 12 What you call him?
Speaker 13 Shake and Bake.
Speaker 13 They're not. Look, look, we know Patrick Mahomes is the most accomplished.
Speaker 13
You know, three Super Bowl, three Super Bowl MVPs. You know, he's been in the Super Bowl five times.
He's been in the AFC championship.
Speaker 13
Every year that he's been a starter, he's never not been in the AFC championship game. We get all that.
Lamar is a two-time league MVP. Josh Allen is a one-time league MVP.
Speaker 13
Matthew Stafford led a team to the Super Bowl. I get all of that.
And kudos. Those guys accomplished that, and you can't take that away from them.
Speaker 13
But I'm sorry, those guys are not playing the position better than Baker Mayfield is playing the position. It's just that simple.
That ain't got nothing to do with what he might do moving forward.
Speaker 13 They said the first five weeks, this is after five weeks, Sports Illustrated dropped their quarterback ranking.
Speaker 13 So they're saying after five weeks of this year, 2025, nothing that happened in 2024 going back, nothing that's going to happen week six moving forward.
Speaker 13 They said the first five weeks of this season, Baker Mayfield's played better than everybody.
Speaker 8 Yeah.
Speaker 12 And he has.
Speaker 13
And his record is just, they only lost one game. Josh Allen lost one game.
Patrick Holmes, I think, I don't know what they record.
Speaker 13
Lamar Jackson is one and four. Matthew Stafford, I think they've lost two games.
Jerry Gawson lost a game. Dak, I think they're 2-2-1.
Speaker 12 Yeah. What about with the Colts lost one, right?
Speaker 13 Colts lost one, yes. Yeah.
Speaker 15
What a matchup we got, y'all. This is that classic HBCU vibe.
Non-stop action, the band is rocking and the crowd lick. Chants echo, drum beating, everybody's showing that school pride.
Game like this?
Speaker 15 Yeah, it calls for an ice-cold Coca-Cola.
Speaker 15 Ah, crisp and refreshing. That's a game changer right there.
Speaker 13 Mmm, yeah.
Speaker 15 That taste always hits the right note, just like the band at halftime.
Speaker 15
And just like that, we're back at it. Passionate fans, school colors everywhere, and an ice-cold Coca-Cola? That's a winning combo.
No matter the sport, no matter the yard, everybody knows.
Speaker 15 Fan work is thirsty work. So grab a Coca-Cola and keep that HBCU pride going.
