Speaker 2 Not all group chats are the same, just like not all Adams are the same.

Speaker 2 Adam Brody, for example, uses WhatsApp to plan his grandma's birthday using video calls, polls to choose a gift, and HD photos to document a family moment to remember, all in one group chat.

Speaker 2 Makes grandma's birthday her best one yet. But Adam Scott group messages with an app that isn't WhatsApp.
And so the photo invite came through so blurry, he never even knew about the party.

Speaker 12 And grandma still won't talk to me.

Speaker 2 It's time for WhatsApp. Message privately with everyone.

Speaker 13 Ocho, during the Cowboys Jets game, Jerry Jones had no problem letting Jets fans know how he really felt. Check out this video, Ocho.

Speaker 14 Let me see what Jerry talked about. Can you see?

Speaker 14 Yeah, I see it. I see it.

Speaker 14 Yeah, yeah. Okay, stop playing with me, yo.

Speaker 14 Stop playing with me.

Speaker 13 Middle finger make.

Speaker 14 Hey, I might be the owner. Yeah, I like it.

Speaker 13 Middle finger might cost Jerry a little money.

Speaker 13 In 2009, Tennessee Titans former owner, rest in peace, Bud Adams, will find $250,000 for a similar incident for a series of gestures made in the direction of Buffalo Bills fan.

Speaker 13 The league find Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper $300,000 for throwing a drink in the direction of the the Jacksonville Jags fans.

Speaker 13 Ocho, do you think a six-figure fine is enough, enough of the deterrent or a punishment for a guy that has a franchise valued at $12 billion, who has a net worth of probably $15 billion?

Speaker 14 You mean Jerry ain't tripping? Jerry not tripping. Tepper wasn't tripping.
And

Speaker 14 young bull that did it before that wasn't tripping.

Speaker 14 Obviously. Fans probably heckling.
You know how people feel about the Cowboys. You know how people feel about Jerry Jones.
They don't like him. A lot of people don't like him.

Speaker 14 And he just wanted to let those people know: listen, I don't like y'all either. And here, take this with you.

Speaker 13 And he sported. He was waving.
He waved that Cowboy fans and then hit the brothers with that. That's for you.

Speaker 13 That's for you.

Speaker 14 Yeah, I mean, listen. Yeah, they probably, they're going to probably have

Speaker 13 him. Yeah, they're going to find him at least a quarter.

Speaker 14 They're going to let him know, listen, Jerry. You know, you can't do that.
You can't do that. You know, here's 500,000.
Go ahead and do what you want with that, you know, what you will.

Speaker 13 And just, just well here's a million because i'm gonna get somebody else too

Speaker 13 i'm just letting you know i'm gonna get somebody else i'm gonna be in somebody else stadium and we go win and they're gonna be heckler be and i will i'm i'm gonna show out on them too so but yeah uh jerry look jerry knows yeah he'll probably i i'm i'm surprised he didn't mention it he didn't mention on his radio show today

Speaker 14 um but he was like yeah i know i can't do that jerry's gonna say all the right things but it's like yeah absolutely and that that's the funny thing when it comes to players when it comes to owners, when it comes to quarterbacks, they always say the right thing.

Speaker 14 They always say the politically correct thing. And that's what I told you when we talked about it, I think, last year.

Speaker 14 And you said, Cam Ward can't say stuff like that because face of the franchise, you can't do that when you're representing an organization, whatever it may be.

Speaker 14 But I would love, I would love if we got back to a place.

Speaker 14 where you just say exactly how you feel and how it really is right now at that moment. But it's just something you can't.

Speaker 14 But I just love, I would love that raw authenticity from players and owners when it comes to to having yeah being real for that you gotta be careful i don't know if you notice we're getting back to a place that where it was previously i don't know if you noticed it paying attention i don't i don't want it to go back like that hey uh i don't i don't miss nothing you hear me okay i don't miss nothing i can see it little little by little matter of fact let me tell you how much i pay attention i pay attention to all the distractions that they continue to have going on to make sure we ain't paying attention to the things that are changing behind closed doors doors.

Speaker 14 You see it. I see it all.

Speaker 14 I may play a fool on camera, but I ain't one off.

Speaker 13 Nope.

Speaker 13 I think the biggest thing is

Speaker 13 Roger Goodell, Kamish probably called Jerry like, Jerry, come on, Jerry.

Speaker 13 And Jerry goes out. He was having a little fun.

Speaker 13 He's having a little fun because Jerry, he likes to have fun. He really is.
I mean, look, having the little bit that I've been around him, he really is a great guy.

Speaker 13 He'll go into, if he, you're out if you ever see jerry out and you somewhere he gonna send you a drink thank you jerry i don't drink well here here's a soda uh where i'm trying to think oh in houston when uh uh uh uh the

Speaker 13 the comeback the patriots and i saw he drove uh i don't think maybe the next year when did jerry go into the hall of fame But anyway, it might have been then because he was on the bus. He had his bus.

Speaker 13 He got a big old tour bus and it got like the the man crew, and it got the cowboy, big cowboy logo.

Speaker 13 Okay. Right.
So, uh, that's the next year. And, and he,

Speaker 13 yeah, that was 20. Yeah.
So, yeah, 27. Yeah.
So he got elected.

Speaker 13 So

Speaker 13 I was, because I signed with, I was with Fox. And so it was a 2016 season, 2017.

Speaker 13 So that's when you, yeah, you're, you're absolutely right. And so, man, I went on Jerry Bus, man, man, his wife, we love you, but you got to lay off the Cowboys.

Speaker 13 The grandkid was on there, Stephen, all of them was on there.

Speaker 13 But if you ever around him, he really, I mean, he's really charming. He's really personable.
So it's easy. He's easy to like.

Speaker 13 I'm just telling you, he's really easy to like because he is so charming. He is so personable.
And his family is the same way.

Speaker 13 But

Speaker 13 it was great. But Jerry, no, he can't do this.

Speaker 13 He's the owner.

Speaker 13 They don't want the players to do that. You damn sure don't want, I mean, probably the de facto owner

Speaker 13 of all owners, of all the sports,

Speaker 13 he's probably the most recognizable, the most visible.

Speaker 13 Yeah, he's the biggest owner, proudest, Mr. Strinebrenner.

Speaker 14 Oh, yeah. Hey, matter of fact, hey, shout out to my boy Cam Bynum.
I know you're probably going to see this. I appreciate the jersey.
It finally came, it finally came in the mail.

Speaker 14 I remember, I forgot what show it was when I was excited.

Speaker 14 When he scored, he had an interception. He does crazy celebration.
I said, obviously, right now, you're probably one of my favorite players. Boom, they reached out to me.
They got me a jersey.

Speaker 14 He signed it too. I'm not supposed to be wearing it.
I'm supposed to frame it.

Speaker 14 Yeah,

Speaker 14 my dog.

Speaker 13 Is that a Cole's jersey?

Speaker 14 I can't, yeah, Bynum. Yeah.

Speaker 13 Okay.

Speaker 14 Yeah.

Speaker 14 Yeah.

Speaker 14 Cam, I appreciate that, boy.

Speaker 14 Hey, um, you see how big I done got?

Speaker 14 Golly, bro.

Speaker 13 No.

Speaker 14 Hey, I'm swole.

Speaker 14 Hey, you know, I got an email too, um.

Speaker 13 From who?

Speaker 14 Hey, when I was in Vegas for the fight,

Speaker 14 when I was in Vegas for the fight, I went down and tried to audition for the Chippendales. They finally emailed me back.

Speaker 13 They say they're not hiring?

Speaker 14 No,

Speaker 14 they say they're hiring. They just had a spot open up.
They had to fire some dude.

Speaker 14 Yeah, so I'm thinking about relocating out there when the season over.

Speaker 13 No, I don't want you to.

Speaker 14 I'm going to have a residency, a chipping dare residency.

Speaker 13 I'm moving to Miami.

Speaker 14 Okay, man, that's fine. That's fine.

Speaker 13 Matter of fact,

Speaker 14 you know what's funny? You ain't even know. You just got back in town, huh?

Speaker 13 Yeah.

Speaker 14 You did? Do me a favor, right?

Speaker 14 Look around, look around real quick and see what you see missing out of your room.

Speaker 13 All I know is that

Speaker 13 you know what? I told Ash, what you call him, man, sent Ocho this the trophy.

Speaker 14 Hold on, hold on. You don't see nothing missing out of your room?

Speaker 14 I told you, I told y'all I'm gonna come to Vegas when you wasn't in town. And when you, hey, listen, when you walk in your house, it's a portrait to the right and a dog bowl to the left.

Speaker 13 Where you at, you get my trophies?

Speaker 14 I told you, I told you I'm gonna come out there and get my stuff. You hear me? Huh?

Speaker 14 I told you.

Speaker 14 Hey, you need me. You got to, you know, also, you need to work on your security system.
All I did, all I did, I cut. You got to get ADT because that system you got, that definitely ain't in.

Speaker 14 Hey, check your cameras. Check your cameras two days ago at 7.02.
I'm going to get 7.02 p.m.

Speaker 13 I got, I got it. I got.

Speaker 14 Yeah, I appreciate that.

Speaker 13 I got a new one. I'm about to get Glock and Sig Sire, my new security.

Speaker 14 Hey, hey,

Speaker 14 I appreciate the trophies, though. I appreciate that's love.
Thank you. Thank you.
Hey, the fact that I had to come break in just to get my stuff. Shoot.

Speaker 13 You ain't getting no more, though. Thank you, though.
You ain't getting no more.

Speaker 14 Oh, I know how to get in now. I'm going to just wait till you out of town.

Speaker 13 Hey, that's all right. Y'all see, hey.
He broke. Hey, I'm glad because I got, we taping this.
So I'm just going to turn this over to the Las Vegas Police Department.

Speaker 14 But

Speaker 14 they're not going to be able to identify me because I was covered.

Speaker 13 No, but you tell it right now yourself. But we're taping this.

Speaker 14 I mean, I can just tell them I was lying. There's really no evidence.
He ain't lying.

Speaker 13 He's telling the truth because I'm missing two trophies.

Speaker 14 I appreciate that. It was good doing business.

Speaker 13 I'm missing two trophies. So you know what?

Speaker 13 Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it, chat.
Y'all saw that, right, chat? Y'all saw the man broke at the house now. Now, he done got his trophy.
Now, send me my money

Speaker 14 I had to come and get my trophies I had to come and get them that's a five-hour flight from Miami five hour flight on spirit I had to find where you lived at then I had to go through the goddamn the um the the house plans to ex to know exactly where to enter and where to come out man you i had to cut the wires i had to get the trophies i had to rewire everything back together and then leave

Speaker 14 That was a headache for me.

Speaker 13 Can I get my 5,900 now?

Speaker 14 I got you.

Speaker 14 Now you can get it. You can get it now.

Speaker 13 Thank you. I appreciate that.
Man, came in my house.

Speaker 13 Ash and Jorah was in on it.

Speaker 13 Because they know the code to the gate to get in. First of all, we got to get through the gate.

Speaker 14 Hold on. For one, gates, I jumped them.

Speaker 14 I jumped them because if the code, they'll be able to tell that somebody was there at that certain time. I don't need anything logged in.
I don't need nothing logged in. I jumped that.

Speaker 14 That ain't nothing.

Speaker 13 Yeah, that's okay. I got something for it.
Chat, but y'all see that? He told you, hey, you are,

Speaker 13 he told y'all what he did. So

Speaker 13 when something bad happens, I ain't responsible.

Speaker 13 Would they say, don't man, ain't have to do that? That ain't nothing but a little trophy. They have of him.
He is anyway. I don't want to hear that.

Speaker 14 I'm good. God on my side.
God got me.

Speaker 13 Yeah.

Speaker 15 So what do this animal

Speaker 10 and this animal

Speaker 10 and this animal

Speaker 16 have in common? They all live on an organic valley farm.

Speaker 13 oh joe there's a oh there's a video going viral tonight that the staff wants us to react live to.

Speaker 13 Here's Debo Samuels asking his rookie running back teammate, Jakore Krosky-Merritt, to blind rank seventh-round draft picks. Let's take a look at this video.

Speaker 13 Yeah, plenty of NFL greats that was drafted in the seventh round. I'm gonna have you blind rank

Speaker 13 Shannon Sharp four,

Speaker 13 Julian Edelman,

Speaker 14 two, Bo Jackson, one

Speaker 13 Ryan Fitzpatrick, three,

Speaker 13 Brock Purdy, five

Speaker 14 He says Shannon Sharp four off the market. What's it with a pill at three?

Speaker 13 I should have said three.

Speaker 13 I might be

Speaker 13 minimum three. Now that your list is over, is there any name on here that you would exchange? No, I'll probably keep it like that.
Yeah,

Speaker 14 who you think I should change on that?

Speaker 25 He don't know Shannon Sharp.

Speaker 13 So he said Shannon Sharp should be up higher. He should minimum be three.
Ah, he should be about two for real.

Speaker 13 But, you know, you young buggy, you don't know too much. You hear me?

Speaker 14 Bill, young, huh? You heard me? Hold on.

Speaker 13 Are you based it on what could have been or what actually was?

Speaker 13 Because of all those guys on the list, only one got a gold jacket.

Speaker 14 You didn't hear what I just said, huh?

Speaker 13 Yeah, I'll kill it. He probably only think of me as a space what I mean.
Yeah, Bill, Bill don't know, huh? He don't know.

Speaker 14 If he knew, he just, he knows the name Shannon Sharp based on the show, based on what you've seen on TV, but he doesn't understand the game, what comes behind him with that name.

Speaker 14 He'd either know because there's no way. As soon as they said your name, you should have been first.

Speaker 13 But hold Joe, even when I came in the league, when you came in the league at 24, at 20, I mean, well, hell, I had been in the league three years at 24.

Speaker 13 What up, holo? Bro,

Speaker 13 I'm just like, do you not know anything? I mean, do you like football? Did you not follow the game of football?

Speaker 13 he's a young oh joe he's 24

Speaker 14 nah because you 24 don't mean you followed the game back then you don't do the

Speaker 14 everybody everybody they all all the all of them not like that nah i was like

Speaker 13 that man got fits magic in front of me

Speaker 13 i like damn

Speaker 14 Oh man.

Speaker 14 Hey, you know, matter of fact, you know, Fitzpatrick got here too. Matter of he did the, didn't he do the game tonight?

Speaker 13 I don't know.

Speaker 13 I didn't see. I don't.

Speaker 13 Man, I don't watch the preview. I don't watch half.
That's my time to go take the dogs out, let them handle their business, get anything, you know, take the trash out because the trash is coming to

Speaker 13 collect the trash tomorrow. That's my time to do all that.
I don't watch nothing.

Speaker 13 When I turn the TV on children to watch a Thursday night game, they're kicking the ball off.

Speaker 14 Yeah, okay, I got you. I got you.
I mean, it's so funny. you know, I've played a flag football game tomorrow where I won't embarrass us.

Speaker 14 I will put on for nightcap to make sure we have something to talk about. I should have scored maybe five, five, six, seven touchdowns.

Speaker 13 Oh, for the flag football?

Speaker 14 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm playing.
How many of you want to score?

Speaker 14 Probably five, eight, five to eight, five to eight, because you know, I don't get the opportunity. This is my this is my Super Bowl.
This is basically my Super Bowl.

Speaker 14 I always talk about do things I've never done before. And so I have to pretend like I'm back in the league and I might be auditioning for another job next year.
You never know.

Speaker 14 You never know.

Speaker 13 Another job doing what?

Speaker 14 Getting the opportunity to play in the league again.

Speaker 14 Fitzpatrick is the quarterback on another team. That's why I said that.
I'm wondering if he's

Speaker 13 who is your quarterback?

Speaker 14 Diana, Diana. Hold on.

Speaker 14 Hold on. I'm going to tell you right now.
I just had it right here in front of me.

Speaker 14 She's a really good flag flag football player.

Speaker 13 Oh, okay.

Speaker 13 So she plays flag football.

Speaker 14 Yeah, Diana Florida. Okay, okay.

Speaker 13 Okay.

Speaker 14 Destroying, you know, Destroying. Destroying is on my team.
And Speedy.

Speaker 13 Oh, yeah. Yeah, he used to be the guy.
He was a kicker for Central Florida, right? Yeah,

Speaker 13 he produced a lot of content. Yeah, I got it.

Speaker 14 And matter of fact, you know what, hey, you know,

Speaker 14 you watch MMA? Of course you watch MMA. Yeah.
Yeah. Michael Venom Page is on the other team.

Speaker 13 Okay.

Speaker 14 You know that? And I'm thinking about, like, before I beat James Harrison ass, I'm thinking about a tune-up with Michael Venom Page. What you think?

Speaker 13 Yeah, I think that'd be good.

Speaker 14 Yeah. Yeah.
So lump him up first and then deal with Debo.

Speaker 13 Yeah.

Speaker 14 How do you think that's going to go?

Speaker 13 Not good for you.

Speaker 13 That's how I think it's going to go.

Speaker 13 That's how I think it's going to go.

Speaker 13 But no,

Speaker 13 if you say seventh round draft picks, if you want to say what could have been who's the best athlete, well, that's Bo. Bo will win it.
But they said, who's the best seventh round athlete?

Speaker 13 I mean, the best seventh round NFL player of the group that he listed. Now, there might be somebody that's in the seventh round,

Speaker 13 but boy, I don't know.

Speaker 13 I like my chances. Yeah.
I like why I position.

Speaker 14 I like him too if you know your history.

Speaker 13 The The history of the game. And you know you're a young puff.

Speaker 14 He's a young pup. He's a young pup and doesn't understand.

Speaker 13 He has Debo talking about where should I have him rank.

Speaker 13 Well, Debo should have said, well, if you don't know where you should have him ranked, I can't help you.

Speaker 14 Yeah.

Speaker 13 I can't help you.

Speaker 13 I don't know. Like I said, I don't know a whole lot of seventh rounders that's in the hall.

Speaker 13 Brady's in the sixth. Brady's going to be.
And like I said, I don't know.

Speaker 13 But it ain't very many seventh rounders that's come in the NFL that's had a better career than what I had.

Speaker 13 I'm not saying, like I said, I don't know all of them, Ocho, but there ain't been many

Speaker 13 because the draft used to be, you know, 20 rounds. So I'm sure

Speaker 13 if we go back to the 40s and 50s and 60s and 70s, you might find one. But it ain't many.

Speaker 13 It ain't dang on that list.

Speaker 13 Oh,

Speaker 13 after five weeks, Sports Illustrated has dropped today.

Speaker 10 We're exploring deep in the North American wilderness among nature's wildest plants, animals, and

Speaker 11 cows.

Speaker 13 NFL quarterback ranking. Here they are.
Josh Allen is number one. Patrick Mahomes is number two.
I'm only going to do the top 10. Matthew Stafford is three.
Lamar Jackson is four. Jared Goff is five.

Speaker 13 Dak Prescott is six. Baker Mayfield is seven.
Justin Herbert is eight. Jordan Love is nine.
Drake May is 10. Okay, just for the sake of arguing, we'll go through 15.

Speaker 13 Daniel Jones is 11.

Speaker 13 Jaden Daniels is 12th. Sam Darnell is 13th.
Jalen Hurts is 14th. CJ Stroud is 15th.
Bo Nicks is 20. Jake Browning is 30.

Speaker 14 Can I be honest with you?

Speaker 13 Yes.

Speaker 14 I'm not sure when they made that list, but Daniel Jones and Baker Mayfield belong somewhere near the top, along with Josh Allen.

Speaker 13 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 13 If we're just talking about this year, Baker Mayfield got to be in the top five.

Speaker 14 Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen, whatever list this is, and whatever it came out, if it's

Speaker 14 been done so far up into up to this week in the season, week five or week six, whatever. Yes, for sure.
Daniel Jones and Baker Mayfield deserve to be in the top of that.

Speaker 14 Somewhere Sam Donnell needs to be in there as well.

Speaker 13 Yeah.

Speaker 13 If we just, if we're just baking it on this week,

Speaker 13 I'm not so sure that Baker Mayfield shouldn't be one.

Speaker 13 Look, we're not talking about, look, we understand what Josh Allen has done. We understand what Patrick Mahomes has done.
We understand what Matthew Stafford has done.

Speaker 13 And we know the MVPs that Lamar has done. But

Speaker 13 if we're basing it on the first five weeks of this season,

Speaker 13 they haven't, those guys haven't outplayed Baker Mayfield. I'm sorry.
And y'all know how I feel about Patrick Mahomes, and I love everybody that they got ranked, but they have not played.

Speaker 13 There are not six quarterbacks playing better than Baker Mayfield. That is a lie.
I don't care what your fan base is. I don't care if you're a Bill.
I don't care if you're a Chiefs.

Speaker 13 I don't care if you're the Rams, you a Baltimore. There are not seven, six quarterbacks playing the quarterback position better than Baker Mayfield.
They're not.

Speaker 14 Hell shit. Or, or Daniel Jones, for that matter.

Speaker 13 No, they're not.

Speaker 14 He's a surprise. I didn't know.

Speaker 14 I could be one of them. I was a culprit, you know, who felt he wasn't going to succeed.

Speaker 13 Yes.

Speaker 14 I just thought he wasn't based on what we saw from him in New York. And for him to come to Indy and do what he's doing, I'm like, man, what in the world? He done flip the whole script in the AFCC.

Speaker 14 He's playing phenomenal football, man. So I want to be be the first to say I apologize, and I was wrong.

Speaker 13 I told you you can go start. You ain't paying.

Speaker 13 The guy that the incumbent guy, the incumbent starter, which was Richardson, is making four or five million. They bring a backup in, making $14 million.

Speaker 13 And you think the guy that's making $14 million is going to be on the bench?

Speaker 14 Oh, yeah.

Speaker 13 That wasn't like that. That's not happening.
Oh, Joe, with the game that you just watched, do you think Jalen Hurst is ranked appropriate at 14?

Speaker 14 oh

Speaker 13 if you we're listen we're not talking he won the super bowl he's super bowl mvp right based on what you've seen through the first five weeks of the season has he played better than sam darnold daniel jones drake may jordan love has he played better than those guys glad you put it that way i'm glad you put it that way if anything you know what he's appropriately ranked he's appropriately ranked based on what they ask of him to do offensively

Speaker 14 what they ask of him to do offensively, where the numbers are not going to be like any of those guys that's that's ahead of him.

Speaker 14 So, what he's asked to do, he is appropriately ranked right where he is.

Speaker 14 If that makes sense.

Speaker 13 All I know is

Speaker 13 there are not six quarterbacks that's currently playing the quarterback position better than Shake and Bake. They're just not.

Speaker 14 What you call him?

Speaker 13 Shake and Bake.

Speaker 13 They're not. Look, look, we know Patrick Mahomes is the most accomplished.
You know, three Super Bowl, three Super Bowl MVPs. You know, he's been in the Super Bowl five times.

Speaker 13 He's been in the AFC championship. Every year that he's been a starter, he's never not been in the AFC championship game.
We get all that. Lamar, the two-time league MVP.

Speaker 13 Josh Allen is a one-time league MVP.

Speaker 13 Matthew Stafford led a team to the Super Bowl. I get all of that.
And kudos. Those guys accomplished that and you can't take that away from them.

Speaker 13 But I'm sorry, those guys are not playing the position better than Baker Mayfield is playing the position. It's just that simple.
That ain't got nothing to do with what he might do moving forward.

Speaker 13 They said the first five weeks, this is after five weeks, Sports Illustrated dropped their quarterback ranking.

Speaker 13 So they're saying after five weeks of this year, 2025, nothing that happened in 2024 going back, nothing that's going to happen week six moving forward.

Speaker 13 They said the first five weeks of this season, Baker Mayfield's played better than everybody. Yeah.

Speaker 14 And he has.

Speaker 13 And the record is just, they only lost one game. Josh Allen lost one game.
Patrick Holmes, I think, I don't know what they record.

Speaker 13 Lamar Jackson is one and four. Matthew Stafford, I think they've lost two games.
Jerry Gawson lost a game. Dak, I think they're 2-2-1.

Speaker 14 Yeah. What about with the Colts lost one, right?

Speaker 13 Colts lost one, yes.

Speaker 13 Shadur Sanders says he's excited for other rookies who have played and been playing through them. Let's take a listen to what Shadur had to say.

Speaker 13 Anytime

Speaker 13 players, you know, that I came in with and that I spent a lot of time with, they get moved up and they're able to have a vital role in this offense and this piece, I get extremely excited for.

Speaker 13 And I'm, you know,

Speaker 13 I'm playing through them. You know what I mean? I'm excited just as them every time they get out there and run around and everything.

Speaker 13 It's just amazing that

Speaker 13 you start somewhere and then you're able to evolve and get to a different level and go out there and actually execute it.

Speaker 13 Just like Dylan, like whenever he got moved up to QB1, I'm like, you know, that's lit, bro. You got to make sure you handle everything the right way and, you know, just continue being him.

Speaker 13 So, like, for me, overall, I'm just happy. I'm excited that everybody is living their dreams, you know, and I'm living my dream also.

Speaker 13 Come every day and be able to work.

Speaker 14 That's dope.

Speaker 13 I like that.

Speaker 14 that's dope that's dope because i i got that same feeling i got that same feeling general now the circumstances are a little different i was a second round pick you know and i i went in and tj was there we were both rookies and and and watching tj get his shine because he learned some of the things a little bit before me so he got an opportunity to get in there and do some things a little different you know it might not have been the game but just say it's practice and i was excited I was living vicariously through him because, oh, my goodness, we made it to the league.

Speaker 14 We done left Oregon State. And boy, you had that shine.

Speaker 14 And boy, you just beat the starting db so i'm hyped so to see him get the opportunity to be in there and just just get his feet wet with the ones was awesome for me and it took me a little longer to get myself in a groove before i got my opportunity with the ones you know it's especially in practice before i before i saw the light of day in an actual game So I get exactly where he's coming from.

Speaker 14 So to go to war, to be in meetings, to see all the work you put in turn into fruition live on game days at one o'clock is a wonderful sight to see.

Speaker 14 And it's easy to be happy for someone, especially a competitor that you're competing with for a starting spot.

Speaker 13 Yeah, that, but you know, he worked out with Cam Ward. So he has a relationship and, you know, the banter that they had going back and forth.
So I'm sure he's extremely excited.

Speaker 13 Dylan is there, although they play the same position. They're like, hey, bro, you get an opportunity to go in to do your thing.
Yeah.

Speaker 13 You know, you root, you know, you root for you guys that, you know, I want to see you do well. I don't want to see you fail.
I don't, um, I don't want anything to happen to Dylan.

Speaker 13 But if I have to go in there, if that's how I got my start, that's how I got my start. Right.
Um, and I just love his attitude. Uh, I just love the way that, hey, I get to live my dream.

Speaker 13 I still get to come to work. Hey,

Speaker 13 as long as they tell me I got a helmet and I get to put some cleats on, good.

Speaker 13 My key work,

Speaker 13 as long as I can punch my code in at that gate and it slide open,

Speaker 13 I'm good. Yeah, I'm good.
Um, yes, yeah, I'm, yeah, he wants to start, he wants to play. Who doesn't want to who doesn't that's any competitor, Uncle? Yeah, that's what you shouldn't want to do.

Speaker 14 You don't want to play, you shouldn't be playing at the highest level in general,

Speaker 13 absolutely, yeah.

Speaker 13 I mean, at first, Ocho, like, man, I made a team, man, I'm in the NFL, yeah, but then you start to look around, you're like, hold on, man, I ain't never sat the bench, yeah, yeah, that's and I'm playing special teams.

Speaker 13 I'm taking all the reps that the starters don't want to take. Basically,

Speaker 13 basically, ah, nah, hell nah, this got to change.

Speaker 13 And so, but I, I, I, like I said, I'm excited. I'm happy for him.
Yeah, that he understands that, look, it's not going the way I envisioned it. I thought I was good.
Look, started with the draft.

Speaker 13 For me, Ocho, once the draft draft happened the way it happened for him, it happened to me the same way. I'm like, man, ain't nothing.

Speaker 13 Ain't no Gibbons now.

Speaker 13 What I thought I was going to get drafted, how I thought I was going to get drafted. So what makes me think now that I got drafted in the seventh round?

Speaker 13 I'm going to go to a team and I'm going to be able to play right away.

Speaker 14 All right, listen,

Speaker 14 you understand the game. You saw the game they were playing at the draft.
So you understand the game that they're playing now. Nothing has changed.

Speaker 13 Nope.

Speaker 14 Nothing has changed. But what they are waiting on you to do, they waiting on you to fold they're waiting on you to say something crazy

Speaker 13 and then they're gonna talk about see that's why that's why because they used to know what you know he said you know he didn't want to go to the baltimore and sit and blah blah blah see that's why who you should

Speaker 13 look everybody look for me you oh joe we happy i don't care where i went i just wanted to get somebody draft me give me an opportunity to play i don't care if they had 12 tight ends i don't care if they had 15 receivers guess what they got 16 now.

Speaker 14 Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 13 And that's the, that's the way, but that's him.

Speaker 13 You know, I had for the longest time, Ocho, I was like, man,

Speaker 13 I wouldn't have did it like that. Right.
Somebody wouldn't have done it how I did it.

Speaker 13 So

Speaker 13 all I know is like, what I, when I speak, I'm talking about like

Speaker 13 when it comes to winning and trying to keep the locker room together,

Speaker 13 there's certain things that we family. And we family, there's like, man, I ain't know he like his brother.
I ain't know his sister. They didn't talk.
Yeah, because that's family.

Speaker 13 They keep it in house.

Speaker 13 I look at us, the football team, as a family. Whatever dissension that we have, Ocho,

Speaker 13 whatever we have going on,

Speaker 13 let's keep it in the house. We can work it out.
Yeah, absolutely. And that way we can control the narrative.
We can control the story.

Speaker 13 Once they get out, Ocho, they're going to write what they want to write now.

Speaker 13 I got the pen.

Speaker 13 Ocho,

Speaker 13 they tell me until the lions have thumbs, every every hunter will be glorified.

Speaker 13 He writing a story.

Speaker 14 Until the lions have thumbs, every hunter. Boy, that's a bar.

Speaker 14 Hey, that's a bar.

Speaker 13 Hey,

Speaker 14 ain't got no penny pad in this goddamn hotel here in goddamn London, boy. Until the lion have thumbs.

Speaker 14 Wait, yes, they do. Hold on.

Speaker 14 well stop stop playing what well that's a good one now i remember it too until the lion has thumbs

Speaker 14 the hunter will always write the story

Speaker 13 the hunter will always be glorified well glorified okay okay because he's actually writing the story

Speaker 14 Boy, I'm going to use that in my next argument.

Speaker 14 Hey, listen, it probably had nothing to do with the situation. But when I I use it, if I can just get it to think for a minute and stop, that mean I won.

Speaker 13 Oh, Joe, the

Speaker 13 Browns are currently paying eight QBs. They're paying Deshaun Watson $35.9 million.
They're paying Jameis Winston $2.2 million. Dylan Gabriel $1.1 million.
Joe Flacco, $999,000.

Speaker 13 Shadur Sanders, $955,000. Bailey Zappi, $315,000.
Dorian Thompson Robinson, $171,000. Kenny Pickett,

Speaker 13 they paid him by the front pocket, $8,000.

Speaker 14 Hey, listen.

Speaker 14 That's light. That's light.
That's light. The only thing on there that

Speaker 14 kind of kind of would hurt is Deshaun not being able to be out there and play and contribute, making that kind of money.

Speaker 14 Things didn't go well. I'm curious to see what's going to happen next year when he is healthy and he's able to come back and contribute.
What happened to that starting job?

Speaker 14 I'm sure because his salary is so high and he commands so much

Speaker 14 of that,

Speaker 14 damn, what do you call it?

Speaker 14 Salary.

Speaker 14 I think he might be the starter next year, you know, especially if he's healthy.

Speaker 14 I just,

Speaker 14 that's

Speaker 14 35?

Speaker 13 36 million, 35.9.

Speaker 14 Hey, boy.

Speaker 14 Hey, Hutch.

Speaker 13 Man, where you been at, man?

Speaker 14 I've been here.

Speaker 13 Best, welcome to the show. Texans wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson.
He caught two touchdown passes and a 44-10 win over the Ravens.

Speaker 13 This was the first time the offense scored more than 26 points all season.

Speaker 13 Zay, bro,

Speaker 13 with the offense exploding in a way that they haven't all year long, do you feel this is what the doctor ordered to get you guys out of the funk and get you guys headed in the direction that you wanted to?

Speaker 14 For sure. I mean, anytime you can, you know, put up 44 points in the NFL, man, you're doing something right.
And I feel like, you know,

Speaker 14 the only thing we needed was just a little bit of confidence, man. And that's what you're going to get with a win in the league.
So I feel like we're heading in the right direction.

Speaker 14 It's only about us, you know, being consistent now

Speaker 14 and you know the funny thing too offensively hutch not only for you obviously building your confidence and getting some of those passes getting that trust from your quarterback and and and knowing that okay this is someone i can count on this is someone i can trust in times of need do do you look at it the fact that the ravens were depleted defensively and had so many starters out do do you guys look at that and say we don't care about who's hurt whoever we line up in front of they gonna get that work and carry that same mentality into the world.

Speaker 14 You got to, right? I mean, it's the NFL, like I said, man. So, like, the second stream, third stream, them still good football players at the end of the day.

Speaker 14 So, like, you got to go in there with the confidence that, you know, anybody who lines up against you can get the work.

Speaker 14 And, you know, unfortunately, you know, they had a lot of injuries. I mean, you know, that's a part of the game.

Speaker 14 But, you know, you can't really, you can't, you can't like, you can't really think about that.

Speaker 14 So

Speaker 13 it ain't got nothing to do with us. At the end of the day,

Speaker 13 I'm going to put that. Hey, I don't care if you got there with a cane and a wheelchair.
I'm going to go buy you.

Speaker 14 You got to, right? Like, that's just like, you got to be a little, you got to be a little crazy, right, with your thoughts and your thinking.

Speaker 14 Like, you got to have that type of mentality or else you're just not going to succeed in the NFL.

Speaker 13 CJ,

Speaker 13 what's CJ like in the locker room, practice field, the bus?

Speaker 13 We know he's on a middle. He's a competitor.
Obviously, he wants, he had that sensational rookie year,

Speaker 13 took a little step back. He seems to be now with this big win over the Ravens, dropping 44, throwing, I think, through four touchdowns, clean game.
What's CJ? What's CJ like? What's he been like?

Speaker 14 Seven's a pro. Like, I know a lot of people, you know, that can get tossed around a lot of different ways, but seven a pro, man.
Like, he's going to come in every single day. He's the same person.

Speaker 14 And, I mean, when you have that type of success, man, like, you know, you can change quickly, right?

Speaker 14 But he got like his morals, his moral compass, what he believes in, like, that keeps him grounded as a person. And then, as a football player first.
And as a person, bro, he funny, bro.

Speaker 14 He always joking around. He always got something to say.
You know how those Cali people be, bro. They always got some jokes under their sleeve.
They always want to jokes with you, rank with you.

Speaker 14 But that's just like, that's just who he is as a person, bro. Like,

Speaker 14 you won't want anybody else that's your quarterback, right? Like. you want somebody who gonna

Speaker 14 he walk he walked through the door you know he in he you know like he know you know he in there like you know he in the building

Speaker 14 and that you know that gives you confidence too like you know i'm i'm catching the balls from seven i'm making plays with seven seven trusts me to throw me the ball like

Speaker 14 man that's a good ass feeling i won't lie to you hey

Speaker 14 yeah you know what's funny what i want to ask and not to give too much away when you have a game like you had right

Speaker 14 Do you see the offense

Speaker 14 getting you a little bit more involved? Seeing that you can also be a playmaker outside of them always keying on Nico Collins or other players.

Speaker 14 Now we have another weapon in Hutch now y'all got to focus on. You can't double goddamn Nico all day because Hutch are killing.
Yeah, I mean,

Speaker 14 I'm an athlete. I'm a competitor, bro.
Like, so, like, obviously I'm a receiver too.

Speaker 14 So, you know, like, I want the ball naturally. That's going to happen.
Like,

Speaker 14 you're going to want the ball. So, like, but, you know, the first thing I go back to is like, you got to show an end game that you deserve to get the ball or that like you're, you're worthy.

Speaker 14 And then also, like, in the heat of the moment, you got to capitalize on your opportunities that you get because you're not going to get too many. Like, you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 14 Like, they may throw you some. If you don't capitalize on them, right, you don't know when you're going to see your next opportunity.

Speaker 14 So, like, for me, it's really just always been like just being consistent. Showing up every day, making the plays when I'm, you know, giving the plays, and then going from there.
So it's like,

Speaker 13 you know, I would like like to hope so. I'm too

Speaker 14 answer, but like, you know, I would hope so. But at the end of the day, too, I got control and I got control.
Listen, I understand the game of football.

Speaker 14 I understand the game of football, and they always reward those that they can count on in the most important times.

Speaker 14 So even if you haven't seen it yet, I can tell you, whatever your plate looks like before last week, they're going to add some more to that plate. They're going to add some sides.

Speaker 14 I'm telling you, I'm just telling you what's going to happen.

Speaker 14 And subconsciously, because of your performance against the Ravens, if they don't call it, seven coming to you any goddamn way because he ain't going to remember, man, when I needed him most, man, Hutch was right there.

Speaker 14 Subconsciously, the ball coming to you.

Speaker 14 And that's some of the things that you can't coach. You can't coach that.

Speaker 14 There's some things you can't coach, and just it's in the quarterback's mind. They always remember who can I count on in times of need.

Speaker 14 And when you show up the way you do, when you make the most of the few opportunities you do get

Speaker 14 man

Speaker 14 all right

Speaker 14 if you go for 150 this week just know just just no for sure i will i'm gonna shout you out for sure i got you

Speaker 13 x why do you think you guys got up to such a slow start this year i mean

Speaker 14 if you really look at like how we played in those three games like We was in the game the entire time, right?

Speaker 14 Like, granted, we got, you know, one of the best defenses in probably the league so you always gonna naturally be in games but like we was just causing like our own conflicts on oh you know what i'm saying like turnovers gonna kill you late in the game uh getting behind in the chains early like can't no offense be successful when you know you sitting in first and 20s playing behind the sticks

Speaker 14 so it's like you like you already playing a good team because it's the league of course but also you're not helping yourself when it's first and 20 second and 15.

Speaker 14 like it's hard to get a game going like that so like right you just got you gotta be in front of the sticks that's what the league is man if you stand in third and four third and five the whole game you're gonna most likely convert them because you know you got good players so it's like man just not beating ourselves up especially in like the heat of the moment i feel like is why we got off to a slow start a little bit but also like them slow starts teach you a lot though like

Speaker 14 man you had a slow start so what nobody really cares you know the world gonna talk you know crazy about you, but we all know what we got inside our building, what we can do on any given day.

Speaker 14 So it's like, man, you just got to keep that in the back of your mind, too.

Speaker 13 Yeah. What's the

Speaker 13 transition? You go from Bland Junior College, Iowa State, and then

Speaker 13 to the NFL.

Speaker 13 The Juco route. Cam, everybody knows Cam went to Bland

Speaker 13 and then to Iowa State. So what was your thought process when you went to Juco?

Speaker 14 Man, and Juco, bro, it's only one way it's gonna go you either gonna make it or you're not gonna make it

Speaker 13 bang

Speaker 14 hey Santa Monica Galley see you know it so then you know it then like it's so much talent that go through Juco that probably nobody's ever heard of nobody's ever seen before you know like that's just the sad truth about Juco like you gotta grow up very quickly and you gotta learn from the mistakes that you made in the past so really I tell you like

Speaker 14 Juco gonna make a man out you like if your parents already did I'm not throwing like my parents man they may raised a great man because I'm here today.

Speaker 14 But Juco taught me how to be a man and how to like take it, take them licks on the chin and get back up. So, it's like

Speaker 14 Juco, it's just gonna teach you more about yourself than you probably know

Speaker 14 because you're either gonna make it or you're not gonna make it, and you can't really blame nobody for you not making it or making it, it's all on you.

Speaker 13 Yeah,

Speaker 13 we got a lot of guys out yo in Savannah State from Juco, uh, Itawamba, Kahoma. Uh, uh, uh, what's that one? Um, there's one in Kansas.
We had a you from Islesworth. What's the one in Coffeeville?

Speaker 13 We had a bunch of Juco guys.

Speaker 14 You know what?

Speaker 14 Where are you from? Jacksonville, Florida slash St. Augustine, Florida.

Speaker 14 Where you from the Creole father?

Speaker 14 Come on now. Oh, man.
Stop. Clay.
Hold on. And I want to ask you, right? And I always want to ask people that actually live in that wonderful city that

Speaker 14 I don't like the jungle. I call it a jungle.
what's it like living in houston it's different

Speaker 13 is it difficult it is difficult a little bit just because like yeah real difficult real difficult x you know what i'm saying x yeah

Speaker 14 i feel like you saying difficult for a little bit of different different reasons than what i'm saying difficult for

Speaker 13 it's difficult whatever

Speaker 13 difficulty

Speaker 13 i can't bicker with

Speaker 14 i done transitioned away from football because i've been to houston one time and i ain't coming back i've been there twice i ain't coming back no more because I can't deal with that.

Speaker 14 So I'm trying to understand how do you focus in season when you got all that around you?

Speaker 14 Got to have a great backbone.

Speaker 14 Got to have a great backbone. Like, I got to, I surrounded people who like, who love me.

Speaker 13 You know why you there, ex.

Speaker 14 And who care for me and want to see me be great. So like really

Speaker 14 trusting in like my family, my family, my backbone.

Speaker 14 My girls, my backbone.

Speaker 14 Yeah. Okay.
You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 14 So it's like, I got a lot of people who believe in me, who, you know, want to see me make this, you know, something more than, you know, just being, you know, what the NFL stand for, not for long.

Speaker 14 Yeah. And I know, you know, me personally, I want to make this a career.
I don't want to make it a job.

Speaker 14 So

Speaker 13 when,

Speaker 14 wait a minute. Come on, bro.
Come on. Come on.
Come on.

Speaker 14 I got to write that down. Hold on.
I got to write that down. Hey, say it again.
What you said. I want to go.

Speaker 14 Not a job. I can't lie to you, though.
I can't lie to you, though. I did get that from somebody, though.
I got that from Rob Woods, man, my first year in the league. He told me that.

Speaker 14 So I'm going to also throw him a little shout out, too. So shout out to Rod Woods, man.
I appreciate you, brother.

Speaker 14 He gave me great gems. He gave me great gems.

Speaker 13 Check this out. Ocho,

Speaker 13 this is your, I'm going to throw this up for you, Ocho.

Speaker 13 This man was praised for his route running ability when he came out of college. Yeah.
So

Speaker 13 now that

Speaker 13 you can run the routes, what are you working on now? What are you trying to get better at now to make you that complete receiver? Because, yeah, look, running routes are fine, but

Speaker 13 A, I got to be strong at the point of attack. I got to be able to, A, I got to be able to high point the ball, the 50-50 balls.
I got to be able to run after the catch. I got to be able to block.

Speaker 13 What are you working on to make yourself that complete receiver?

Speaker 14 I would say I'm still fine-tuning my route running.

Speaker 14 When I got to the league, I learned a lot. I thought I was a really good route runner.
And then I got to the league and I realized, you know what, bro? Maybe I'm not as good as I thought I was.

Speaker 14 I'm feeling thrilled though, because you go against a lot of good DBs, man. And, like, any of the little small you was tipping your routes?

Speaker 13 Were you tipping your routes?

Speaker 14 I won't lie to you. I had this bad, bro.
I had this bad habit, bro. I had this bad habit where I used to throw my head.
So I throw my head to the right. That means I'm going left.

Speaker 13 Left.

Speaker 13 Why would you tell me which way you going? But it was like, a little bit of it was like, man, I didn't, I won't even lie to you.

Speaker 14 I didn't believe that like i could get open you know what i'm saying like i had a lack of confidence in myself that i couldn't do something that i've been doing for you know my whole life

Speaker 14 and so really i made that a long answer but

Speaker 14 always got to fine-tune your route running always that's something that you can never get like perfect at you always got little small things and then two i probably definitely say uh like the catch point man like just trusting my hands sticking the men's out there and grabbing the ball

Speaker 13 yeah.

Speaker 13 You don't catch with them, you catch them.

Speaker 14 No, for sure, you definitely catch with your eyes. I also learned that too.
So, look, see, you always learn something new every day.

Speaker 13 Hey, hey, listen, listen.

Speaker 14 When you want to get a little work in, but you know, with them feet, you know, come on down there for a little section. All you got to do is hit me up, bro.

Speaker 14 Hey, you know,

Speaker 14 I got a wide receiver workshop. I got a little wide receiver workshop in June or July.

Speaker 14 I'm going to send that invitation.

Speaker 14 I didn't get it last time. I didn't get it this time.

Speaker 14 I got you. I got you.
Listen, I'm going to get it to everybody this time. I'm there.
Yeah.

Speaker 14 I need all I can get. I got a whole lot of knowledge.

Speaker 14 I'm knowing.

Speaker 14 I cross the water for you, boy. I promise you, boy, I come.

Speaker 13 Hey, it don't matter where I'm at, but I drop all my plans, bro.

Speaker 14 I'll come out there for sure.

Speaker 14 Appreciate it.

Speaker 13 Give me some of your strongest influence. When you were growing up, who were some of the big influences,

Speaker 13 maybe as a parent, maybe with a coach, maybe it's someone that you saw. Give me some of your influences that helped shape what we see here today.

Speaker 14 I mean, honestly, I think it starts with like my brother, my older brother.

Speaker 14 I want to probably play football without him. You know, I wanted to be like him, like every little young sibling.
You want to be like your older brother. So I wanted to be like my brother.

Speaker 14 And then two,

Speaker 14 I probably really say my receiver coach in high school, man,

Speaker 14 Coach P.

Speaker 14 uh he the one who kind of made me transition to being an outside receiver like my senior year in high school.

Speaker 14 He saw something in me that I like, you know i didn't really see in the moment and so like a lot of props to him bruh for like just believing in me and seeing my potential and maybe you know i didn't see it so i give a lot of props to him and then i you know can never leave out your parents my mom and dad they raised me to be the man who i am so i'd probably say them definitely probably my biggest influencers

Speaker 14 That's dope.

Speaker 13 Well, congratulations on your breakout game. Continue success.
Stay healthy. And when you have some more success, come back to yourself.
Yes, for sure.

Speaker 14 I will. This will be the first show I get on.

Speaker 13 All right. Hey, got a fact.
Listen.

Speaker 14 Wait, before you go, I don't mean to beg, right? You know, I don't really come to Houston often, but when y'all next home game? I think in two weeks we play the 49ers.

Speaker 14 Well, you know, if you boy, go ahead. If I catch him in a spirit fight out there, man, can I get

Speaker 14 you always welcome, bro.

Speaker 14 We're going to celebrate you here in H-Town, man. Come on now.

Speaker 14 Appreciate Diego here.

Speaker 14 You want to go to Area 29 with me?

Speaker 13 Hey, I got to focus on the season.

Speaker 13 He don't need but one season. Hey, X, he don't need but one ticket.
I'm gonna send this one out, but I wish y'all the best, man.

Speaker 14 Man, I appreciate that.

Speaker 13 All right, man, that was good.

Speaker 13 Appreciate y'all, man.

Speaker 15 So, what do this animal

Speaker 10 and this animal

Speaker 10 and this animal

Speaker 10 have in common?

Speaker 16 They all live on an organic valley farm.

Speaker 17 Organic valley dairy comes from small organic family farms that protect the land and the plants and animals that live on it from toxic pesticides, which leads to a thriving ecosystem and delicious, nutritious milk and cheese.
