Days before he plays against the Packers for the first time in his career, Aaron Rodgers made it clear he will retire as a packer when that day comes rogers said this past summer he's pretty sure 2025 will be his final season and if it is indeed he plans to own a ceremony ceremoniously leaving the game as a packer i was up there for 18 years regardless of when i hang it up that's the bulk of my career i'll retire packer and see what happens after that i've got a law for that for that organization and my time there they asked this week Is it a revenge game or whatever?

What do I got to avenge here?

They made me a ton of money.

True.

I grew up there, spent some of the best years of my life there.

I've got nothing but love for this organization.

Listen, Aaron Rodgers is in a good place.

Aaron Rodgers is in a good place for the simple fact that he gets to control this future.

The Steelers, the Steelers don't have an answer at the quarterback position.

Nope.

Aaron Rodgers is coming back.

Mike Tomlin and the Rooney are going to ask Aaron Rodgers to come back.

How much you need?

What you need is to give you.

Because the way he's playing, the way he's playing this year, there's a resurgence in him.

There's a resurgence in him, you know.

And if they're going to have a chance, if they're going to have an opportunity, if they're going to be able to compete as an organization, as a franchise, they're going to want number eight to come back.

And they're willing to give him what he needs to do so.

He's not going to retire.

I'm even at 41, 42, whatever it may be.

He's going to be feeling that much better because whatever they pay him is going to make him feel better.

I think.

It's going to make him feel better.

I agree.

I think the thing is, Ocho, is that

he wanted to be wanted.

He wants to feel appreciated.

That's all I want.

And

he feels that for the first time in a long time.

Yes.

Because what happened is that when you don't extend him, you're telling me you don't want me.

Then you go draft the quarterback.

You're really telling me you don't want me.

And then all this stuff starts leaking out.

Well, Aaron Rodgers was not informed about the quarterback.

Nobody needed to know that.

Right.

Nobody needed to know that.

The general, the owner,

what was the name?

Picks up the call and say, Aaron Rodgers, don't you be the problem.

Nobody don't need to know that.

So he felt they were going behind his back, undermining him, making him look bad.

Yeah.

when it wasn't necessary.

Yeah.

He goes to the Jets.

The Jets wanted him for whatever reason.

It didn't work out there.

And then you hear all the stuff start creeping out of the locker room.

Now, you really haven't heard anything come out of Pittsburgh.

Mike Tomley wants him.

He says Mike Tomley did not put no pressure on me saying, when are you going to sign?

When are you going to come up here?

When can we show you around?

He said Tomley didn't do any of that.

And he was very appreciative of him giving him his space and allowing him time to make the decision that.

Can I commit?

Can I give them a year?

Can I give them an absolute year where I'm totally focused on the game of football?

He seems to be at a better place in his life.

He's gotten married.

Reports are, I mean, that's what he said.

I didn't know reports.

He said he's gotten married.

He says he's in a great headspace.

He's playing like he's in a great headspace.

But at the end of the day,

he wanted to be wanted.

He wanted to be appreciated.

And he felt his last several years in Green Bay.

Now,

he might have felt that, but that doesn't.

They still took him in the first round.

They still, he won four MVPs there.

He won a Super Bowl there.

He won an MVP there.

He cut his teeth as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play.

Yes.

No matter what happened in New York or Pittsburgh, everybody's going to remember him as a Green Bay Packer.

Absolutely.

Absolutely.

So

those New York years, these years in Pittsburgh, whether it be one, whether it be two, whether it be three, will never override or overshadow what he did in Green Bay.

He will always be a Packer in the eyes of those that understand and watch the game of football over the years.

Always.

Yes.

And so,

you know, I think that's great when the guys that spend the bulk of their career somewhere and they get an opportunity to come back and the team is welcoming them with open arms.

You signed a one-day contract and

you retire as

a member of the team that you broke in with and you're most commonly known for.

I don't know if Brady did that.

I don't know if Brady, but even though Brady won a Super Bowl, Brady's going to be remembered as a

patriot, no matter what.

I think he had three years, he won a Super Bowl, he threw for 5,000 yards.

But in the eyes of everybody, he's a patriot.

He's a patriot, absolutely.

Hey, matter of fact, but you know what, Ocho?

Huh?

A lot of people still

look at Peyton Manning as a Bronco

because they see him at all the Bronco games.

He does the majority, he lives in Denver.

He lives in Denver.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yes, yeah, he lives in Denver.

He's so, I mean, he's at all the games.

Uh, I know he wants to be the

teams of skyrocketing, the value of teams.

He wants to own a team, but to own 40% of a team, oh Cho,

you're talking $4 billion.

Yeah.

You're talking 50%.

So you want to be the majority owner.

So you got to own at least 50% of the team.

Right.

That's five.

That's, you know, four or five, four billion, three and a half, four billion dollars.

Damn.

And the value isn't, they aren't coming down.

No, it's like, listen, the mad market would never come down.

No,

ever.

Damn, man, that's crazy.

So it's going to be,

look, at the end of the day, and that's what I say, that's why all the time,

it's hard to go to work

when you're not happy or you feel unappreciated.

You feel you're not appreciated.

It's hard, Ocho.

Man, you make all that money.

I don't give a damn about that.

Money don't mean nothing, man.

I ain't happy.

Hold on, huh.

We know what it feels like for one, to be happy.

Yes.

You know what it feels like to be appreciated and happy.

Yes.

And do you add someone actually wanting you on top of that?

Well, we talk about that's a trifecta that is undefeated for an individual,

whether it be in sports, whether it be in the corporate world, or whether it be in a relationship with somebody.

Man, there's nothing better than that feeling of being appreciated and being wanted.

It's one of the greatest feelings in the world.

Like, I love when my kids ask me for something, huh?

I love when they ask me for something.

And there's an appreciation to it that I'm able to provide whatever it may be that they want.

Sometimes

it's not within reason because you don't need it.

But the fact that I can tell you why you don't need it, but the fact that

I'm in a position to be able to do,

like, that shit feels good.

I told my kids, don't ask me for nothing until 2027, because I ain't got it.

I ain't got it.

i don't know i ain't got it i ain't got it your daddy ain't got it your daddy ain't got it

no they know they solid they know hey hey hell no

they i look i when they come to me i already know daddy

They thought long, they thought long and hard before they asked daddy.

Oh, yeah, oh yeah.

Listen,

one, one, my baby hit me today,

daddy.

What you doing?

I responded back, how much?

How much?

I mean, listen.

Well, I was calling.

I would call to see how you were doing.

I was just calling to see how you checking ain't checking.

Yeah, you ain't, you ain't you a you a devil call that to see how I'm doing.

Hey, listen.

I say, man, baby, I'm right here.

I'm on the game.

I'm chilling.

Everything good.

Okay,

my son called me.

Five minutes later,

uh send me send me send me some money i'm getting ready to go out of town yeah i i i knew that i figured that sure hey miss me with a small talk man get to the point my son called me

get where he called me at ocho where he at broke downside the road i said i ain't triple h i'm in vegas what you call me for

you you want me to call triple a right right right right yeah i'm just you know i got the kids of the car oh man come on really

you called me broke downside the road with the kid in the car right

i say oh man what what he wanted to do call triple a or just send a little cash vehicle

oh a new one yeah oh joe i'm in vegas right here in atlanta what can i do from vegas i mean you can if he called me he could have called a tow truck or he could have called triple a right right right right well you you got to get him something new huh what do you want a range robo and still so if i call i still got to call triple a or the total company to get it.

Right.

I say, ah, man.

Damn.

Bro, I'll be hot.

Bro, hey, just

tell Shelly what you and go.

I like that.

Hey, I need

Ocho.

And then he's going to send me Ocho.

He's going to send me a picture.

In front of the vehicle like this.

Hey, he got something new, huh?

Yeah.

Hey, I say.

say.

Hey, that's dope.

My son, my son, just my son, La CJ, La CJ just got his first

La Tesla.

Just got his first Little Tesla

without my help.

Oh, did he?

Yeah, man.

Yeah, man.

Hey,

that felt good.

That was pretty dope.

That was pretty dope.

Hey, all my kids,

everybody got their cars.

Everybody squared away.

You know, hell yeah.

I'm feeling accomplished.

have our feet style things, but the money is to bring to these people.

Oh, yeah.

They're the kids.

So, but

it's,

but look, the whole thing is, is that why we work so hard and do what we do?

Yeah.

And I've never,

me, I really don't buy a whole lot of stuff for myself.

Yeah, I'll see something here or there I'll get.

But for the most part, it's so my kids, they, but they work.

I say, look, this family ain't got room, but for one lazy mofo, I'm here.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Everybody else that's

younger than me,

you got to get it.

Look, I ain't got no problem.

Like I say,

when they call me, I know they had their weird singing.

I know they done tried everything.

They done called their mom.

And they're all like, look, you know, I ain't got it.

Yeah.

You know, I ain't got it.

Yeah.

And you know what, Uncle?

As long as you're working.

And it this, and this ain't just about no kids in general.

This is, yeah, when you're calling on somebody, you're asking for help.

As long as you're trying to help yourself and you're doing something, that's it.

That's all I ask.

That's all I ask.

Just be doing something.

If you're doing something, I have no problem helping you at all.

Just show me you're making some type of effort.

That goes for my kids.

I mean, just for anybody in Jordan, especially in close proximity and in my small circle, man, you good.

The kids got to show me.

Everybody else, everybody else that I'm going to really help to that, they done got too old to really work.

My mom, I got my mom a car.

She probably put two miles on that car.

But anyway,

she ordered a new car.

I got her a car.

My brother took care of him.

My sister, my sister, like, I don't, hey, the drive right around here in Glenville, I don't need nothing.

But

that's, I love the fact that, you know, they work for themselves.

They do, they do their own, they do the best they can.

I said, long as you're going to work hard and you're going to, hey, you're going to, you're going to, you tried.

Right.

I got you.

But don't call me and say you without no job if i don't care if you switch 100 jobs right just before you leave that job you make sure you got another one lined up you gotta have something lined up you gotta that's it that's all that's all i ask

that's all i ask you ever been in a situation in general like um

with someone that wasn't working no i got nothing for you

but see ocho the way i am i'm only gonna give you what I give you money.

I don't lend money.

Right.

So because I don't want you money out of it.

You give what you say and not to have, get back.

You give what you can say, not to get back.

Okay.

That's it.

I'm going to give you what I can afford.

Like, and walk away, just walk away from, walk away from it.

Right.

That's, that's what I, that's what I do.

Right.

So when my home, when they ask me for money,

that's what I do.

I'm going to give you whatever, whatever I give you.

I don't expect nothing back.

I don't mention it.

Right.

I don't bring it up.

I don't talk.

We don't talk about it.

Right.

Hey, hey, hey, man, you know, I know I owe you.

Bro, you good.

I ain't mentioned it.

I ain't brought it up.

Right.

You good.

So, but, but that's the whole, that's the whole point of it, Ocho.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

I'm going to die and do what?

Right.

Yeah.

I mean, I can't take none of that with me.

I can't buy my way into heaven.

And I can't, hey, keep my way out of hell.

So

somebody might as well get some use out of it.

Yeah, you're right.

You're right.

But also, you got to be careful with people taking advantage of you just because you do have it, just because you are going to have it.

For sure.

That's true.

I hate that.

I hate that part.

But, oh, I'm kind of insulated.

So, ain't nobody really got my number outside my close, close friends.

Right.

And, and, and, you know, you got to go through my sister.

You know, anybody that's on that, that side, you got to go through my sister.

Right.

And she ain't going to give you my number and she goes, just tell you no.

You probably think of Michelin as a tire company.

And I mean, it is.

But it's really an innovation company.

And that's why their tires are as good as they are.

It started in the 1800s making brake pads for horse-drawn carriages.

Later, Michelin basically invented the modern tire with the first steel belted design.

That innovation has never slowed.

In fact, it's only accelerated.

See what I did there?

These days, through its Michelin in Motion Vision, the company is expanding into healthcare, energy, and even aerospace.

Seriously.

For instance, they're developing an airless wheel for lunar exploration.

It's got to deal with vast temperature swings, radiation, and the rough terrain on the moon, and maybe one day on Mars.

I mean, this is more than just some sort of vanity project.

It showcases Michelin's broader shift from tire manufacturing to high-tech, durable mobility solutions.

It's about the same exact thing that led to those horse-drawn carriage brake pads well over 100 years ago.

It's about innovation.

Oh,

you got a very special guest joining us tonight.

Ty for the league, league, and sacks with nine, a third-round pick out of the University of Tennessee, a volunteer.

He grew up the youngest youngest of 13 siblings.

Wow.

Byron Young, Rams, Los Angeles Rams.

Bro, how you doing?

I'm doing great, man.

Appreciate y'all having me.

Nah, bro.

Appreciate you coming on.

Seriously.

You on one side, Jerry Burst on the other.

You got the big guy pushing, collapse in the pocket.

How fun?

is it rushing the passer in that situation because it's first come first serve you know you got to get off because burst on the other side

oh yeah oh yeah it's always a you know, race to the quarterback.

You know, I seem like this, you know, saying, you know, meet me there, beat me there.

You know, having Braden Fist, Kobe turning in the middle with Jared Verse on the other end.

You know, you have no choice but to get off.

So, you know, they just motivate me and push me to go harder.

I was reading the story.

Back in 2018, you were working the ship at Burger King and Dollar General.

You saw a flyer on the store bulletin board that's like Georgia Military College holding open trials for football.

Yeah.

Hold on.

You're like, hold on.

man let me take this this apron this this fry cap off and get back so did you play football in high school yes sir i played in high school i just i just really went uh recruited for real

really

nice yeah

so you go so you go you go trial

so so what what did they have you do you had to run drill you had to run a 40.

so what did you all what did you what did this trial encompass uh basically it was a 40 kind of like what what you said.

You had to do the bench press at 225.

You had to do like change directions.

And like, they basically were doing like measurements

trying to see where you were at.

And that was kind of like it for the most part.

It was like 100 guys there.

Were you the only one that made it?

I was.

I was the only one that made it off the spot.

So like it was other guys that got called back because you kind of, it's like two tryouts.

You kind of like have the second try down in the spring when you kind of have spring ball.

But I was like the only one one to make the team from that though wow hey most of the time when you're growing up too obviously in in the nfl you play defense in when you were younger what position did you play i know you i know you weren't playing d in back then no i played running back

what you were toting that ball you were toting the p a boy oh yeah oh yeah i played running back all through high school um that's why i've like always been fans Right.

So at what point did you, did, did your body, did, did your body, you know, grow into actually now I can be on the defensive side of the ball and you got a little bigger well actually my senior year like i always like big in high school but my senior year i played both sides right and i played uh stand-up linebacker um my senior year uh high school so it's kind of like transition after that are you from georgia no i'm from georgetown but um i moved to georgia after i graduated high school in 20 georgetown south carolina Georgetown, South Carolina.

Hey, matter of fact, you know what?

I got a small look.

You ain't know this, right?

See?

ABY, you ain't know I know this.

You and Melissa Jefferson come from the same small town too oh yeah yeah we went to the we went to the same high school was on the same track team ah but you ran track too yeah i ran track my senior year wait what what what what race uh i was on uh the four by one

okay okay

okay

so you you you you get called so how did you how did you end up at tennessee

uh honestly that was the first power pod school to offer me so um really yes sir yes sir it was it felt like it was a sign from god so you know i just went with them them.

That's so.

Man, and you, hey, you got a play in the SEC.

So was that always your dream to play in the NFL?

You just had, hey, you took a little detour.

It took you a little while, but A, you ended up where you ended up and you got to ultimately, your ultimate destination.

Was that always your goal?

So what, what did Byron wanted to be when he was growing up?

When he was a kid, he was eight, nine, 10 years of age.

What did you want to be?

I always wanted to be in the NFL.

I always wanted to go in the NFL.

I'd be lying to you if I told you that I just knew this would have happened, like based off my journey.

But like, my mindset was I just never wanted to quit.

You know, I always like wanted to somehow get back into playing football, but I really just didn't know how that would look like, you know, growing up, like just being around a lot of people that really didn't really make it to the NFL.

So it's kind of hard to kind of navigate and find your ways through there.

So like, you know, it was just unpredictable, but I always kept faith.

Wow, that's that, man.

That's unbelievable.

That's an unbelievable story.

So you get, so you go to the University of Tennessee, you have an outstanding collegiate career, and now it's draft.

So what were the scouts telling you?

Did you know you go?

Did they tell you, okay, you might be a first-round pick?

You could be a late first-round pick, early second.

Did they tell you day one, day two?

What were you hearing when you were coming out?

I was really hearing day two.

Some said possibly day three, but mostly it was day two.

My biggest knock was my age.

So I was like an older guy.

They like how mature I was with my age.

So it really was always day two, but possibly day three because of that.

So

you found the home now, rushing the passer.

This is your third year, right?

Yes, sir.

So you, did you get, so you got one year with AD?

Got one year with AD.

Oh, yeah.

Man, can you, do you, do you sit back and think, say, man, can I imagine me verse AD

right now, knowing what I know now, verse knowing what he knows now?

And you're talking about arguably the greatest defensive tackle to ever play, one of the five greatest defensive players.

And the way our offense can score and be if we ahead and now i just get to hunt the quarterback they got the double 99 they got to well i think about that every day i just feel like i took some you know some of it i feel like i took it for granted a little bit my rookie year but i i just said i was learning you know i was growing but like now i just look back in my 30 i was like man if we if we could have had him too you know

you know you know i just i'm just thankful that i had one year you know with him and him you know teaching me things and you know just just being my mentor So,

what were some of the things that he taught you?

So, to watch him, obviously, he plays the three to five.

It's a different, you mainly edge, you're on the edge.

Oh, uh, normally, occasionally, you put your hand in dirt, but you like to rush the passer from a stand-up position, sir.

Oh, yeah, oh, yeah.

Stand-up, uh, kind of was doing that at 10 C for the most part.

That's when I kind of started dropping, though.

So, yeah, stand up outside linebacker, but you know, being with AD and some of the things he kind of taught me, uh, just be patient.

You know, uh, I feel like as a rookie, you always trying to be perfect, you're always not trying to make mistakes.

So, I feel like coming in, I screwed so much about like, I'm trying to be perfect.

I'm not trying to do this wrong.

And, you know, he always just said, you know, just be patient and just let it come to you.

You know, like you're going to make mistakes and just learn from them.

But, you know, that was something that always stuck with me.

Hey, coming into the season, obviously, with it being your third year, obviously you have team goals, but have

your personal goals.

Obviously, I'm sure the Sacks and

the

trajectory you are on right now so far this season.

Are there any other goals you had set in mind mind from an individual's perspective going into this season?

Oh, definitely.

I'm making my first Pro Bowl, you know, being all pro.

You know, that's always been a dream come true for me.

You know, that's something I always wanted, you know, just, you know, just watching the guys that I looked up to, like Bond Miller and those guys like that.

one of my favorite players ever and just watch how they just go about business and you know every year making a pro bowl and it's just like that's something i always wanted to do so coming into you know my third year my goal is you know know, I'll feel, of course, as a team, make it to the Super Bowl.

But for myself, all pro, you know, Pro Bowl, you know, and defensive player of the year, that's what I'm looking at.

That's why I'm reaching.

You know, every day I work, that's why, you know, that's what I'm trying to accomplish.

So,

you know, BY, the easiest thing you'll do is make it to the Pro Bowl once.

Now, what happens when they get that, you know what?

We're going to sit our game playing to BY.

Now we slide the protection.

Now we have the back chip on his way out.

Now we have the tight end that chip on his way out.

Now, the second Pro Bowl, the third Pro Bowl, those are the ones that get hard because now they know what you can do and now you have expectations for yourself the fans management they have greater expectations because they saw what you've done you've gone to the pro bowl you're like hey i got nine sacks hold on i think we got one two three four five six seven eight nine we got nine more we got nine ten game hold on if i get a sack a game get a couple two sack game man i can get 20 sacks oh yeah

and now you're like hold oh 20 sacks hey they want to have to come see you they play big bucks for 20 sacks 20 sacks

hey hey i go by i can go back and buy all of georgetown yeah

hey

hey hey what's the name stan stan what unc stan cronkey yeah tell stan we want 49 a year oh yeah

yeah hey uh 50.

50.

Hey, so

coming into the sea, obviously, you know, your third year, what are are some of the things you work on?

Look, you got great get off.

Obviously, you can convert speed to power.

So, so what, what, what were you working on in the office?

Because each year you work on something to try to improve, to get better, because sometimes the moves that you worked on that worked this year, it might not work.

I'm not getting rid of them, but I got to have another trick in my bag that I need to pull out, especially when I got to get off the field.

We got to make sure we get off the field.

We got to make sure we keep them out of field goal range.

We got to make sure we keep them out of the end zone.

So, what were some of the things that you was working on this this offseason b why uh you know this offseason going into my third year um just looking back at my first two years i just feel like i wanted to take a different approach so um i took on you know pilates i started doing pilates three days out the week um just to build my body and you know just how strengthen that core get flexible yeah working them little muscles you know what i'm saying with longevity and stuff like that and um to help prevent injury so i felt like doing pilates definitely helped my body type and helped me being able to big thin getting off the ball faster you know flexibility and everything, bending the corner, you know how I do.

So it's like, those are some of the things that I was doing.

I was really consistent at it.

I feel like I seen the different things that helped.

And just putting in extra work, you know, getting more get offs, working my technique more, getting more film studies, studying myself, you know, and studying what I lacked last my last two years.

And I was just trying to improve from that.

So my goal every time I step on the field is improve, you know, something that I didn't do.

good yesterday whether it's get off whether it's foster whether it's use my hands you know whether parallel i always try and just like get better at something, you know, every practice.

So that's kind of my approach.

That was taking OTAs and count,

then more attention.

You guys still run the hoop?

That circle that, you know, you try to ride it and stay as low as you possibly can.

Y'all still do that?

Well,

we kind of do that.

We kind of do something else with the medicine ball.

We like have the medicine ball.

We kind of fill up our hips.

But we kind of like do it around the whole hoop.

But we don't, I know what you're talking about.

We don't really do like that too much.

So

at the end of this season, look, hey, you're a third-round pick.

Oh, they got to come see you after this year.

Yeah, they got to come see you, B.Y.

Oh, so you're going crazy.

You really try to leave.

Oh,

I've been going to get this 20 piece out here.

Hey, you know what I'm saying?

That's always the goal is just to you know try to get to that second deal so i'm definitely working with that for sure yeah yes sir yes sir

man congratulations on all your success man i mean it wasn't oh let me ask you this the youngest of 13 how many how many how many brothers how many how many boys how many girls uh nine boys and um four girls

and you the youngest i'm the youngest yeah man mom and pop wasn't playing That's dope.

That's dope.

That's live.

Hey, so I'm talking about, so when y'all get oh georgetown so y'all eat some of anything down there i know about that low country yeah yeah

all the hogs y'all put everything in a pot they call it potluck ocho they put it all in a pot you lucky if it don't kill you but they gonna eat good

nah nah thanks you're gonna eat good when you go back home so so what was it like so you go to the nfl uh is there anybody from georgetown how how close is georgetown to monks corner to uh uh uh

Like Somerville and Charleston, that?

How close are you to that?

Charleston is like an hour away from Georgetown.

Yeah, it's not, it's not too crazy.

Is it

any for?

Hold on.

I think, where is Jump?

I think if Jumpy Gathers from down your way, yeah, yeah.

That's my family.

They're from Charpy.

They're from around the way in Georgetown, too.

Yeah.

I played with Jumpy.

Oh, yeah.

Oh, yeah.

I played with your bad Jumpy.

Oh, Lord, Jumpy, the country is man.

Hey, I don't know what he had, but he he had some stuff in a green bottle.

He rubbed it on his knee, rubbed it on his ankle, and then drank it.

He's talking about you want to try something.

I say, nah, I'm good.

I don't know what you know.

My knee don't hurt no more.

No, that wasn't different for them, for sure.

Y'all, you got home remedies like that?

I mean, not like that, but we got some stuff that we do.

But that was, yeah, I ain't never heard of that.

That's probably way back in the day.

Yeah.

Hey, meanwhile, thanks for joining us, man.

Continue success.

Stay healthy.

And

you lead the league in sacks.

Come back and tell us how you did it.

Yes, sir.

I appreciate y'all having me, man.

Thank you.

We appreciate you coming, man.

Get some rest.

Stay healthy.

Best of luck the rest of the year.

Hey, this offseason, Stan Crockett, give you that five-year 175.

200, 200.

We need two.

Okay, man.

I got you.

I ain't say no both.

I ain't going to say no both.

I got you.

I got you.

Appreciate you, bro.

Good luck.

All the best.

All right.

Thank you.

Man.

Hold on, let me use the bathroom.

Go ahead.

Man, that's a, he's a, you can see he's a very,

you can tell he's mature.

And you know, you, and you see, now you see, you heard what they say because of his age.

Now you see why them guys try to get out of school early because they hold that against you.

Because they look at it like, if you're that good, why are you still in school?

They use the manage against him.

Now he got an A.

He's going to hit that jackpot though.

He's going going to get paid.

And deservedly so.

I love people that, you know, he's a fighter, come from Georgetown.

Not a whole lot, you know, going on down there, but he's like, hey, same thing with Melissa.

And to see where

he came from

to see where he's headed.

Man, he seems so mature.

He seems like he got, you know, he's well-grounded.

And man,

I'm excited.

I'm excited.

You probably think of Michelin as a tire company, and I mean, it is, but it's really an innovation company, and that's why their tires are as good as they are.

It started in the 1800s making brake pads for horse-drawn carriages.

Later, Michelin basically invented the modern tire with the first steel-belted design.

What this season and what it unfolds for, Mocho.

Uh-oh, oh cho!

Bengals linebacker and team captain logan wilson has requested a trade particular player has started all seven of his appearances this season however the team captain has seen his role reduced over the course of season rookies barrett carter and demetrius knight jr have received the bulk of the defensive snaps this season ojo would it be a mistake for them to trade

a veteran player, the captain of the defense, and they're already struggling.

What's going on, Ocho?

Absolutely not.

It would not be wrong.

I'm not sure you probably don't watch the Bengals the way I watch them.

Anybody in the chat that watches the Bengals on defense, even though we're not playing up the par, obviously offense being our identity.

If you watch Demetrius Knight,

if you watch Demetrius Knight, well, he pop out on film.

You hear me?

Oh, that's the rookie they got from South Carolina, right?

Man, listen, he wear 44.

Yeah, I think that's what he wears 44 for a reason.

Unknown Young Bull is special,

he's special.

When you watch him,

hey, listen, I'm at the game, right?

I'm at the game, and you know, you watching everybody, and all of a sudden, boom, flying out of nowhere.

Boom, flying out of nowhere.

I'm watching on TV.

Man, who in the hell is this?

There's a reason why his role has been reduced.

There's a reason why.

And asking for a trade is, I mean,

that's the easy way out.

But listen,

if you can't get it done in Cincinnati, where else you're going to get it done at?

Think about that.

You say, well, I'm trying to play, OJo.

I ain't trying to be on the bench.

I can't get no stats on the bench.

You're not listening to me, huh?

If you can't get it done in Cincinnati, where we're not that good, where else are you going to go and get it done at?

I mean,

hello?

The call is coming from inside the house.

For sure.

You know, so I mean, listen,

I love Logan Wilson.

I wish him the best.

But those that are in front of you, where your role has been reduced, are really good.

They ain't no slouches, despite being.

But that young man, listen, I'm telling you, if you get a chance to watch the Bengals this Sunday when we play the Jets, watch the meat show.

Man, I ain't watching y'all play no Jets.

Why not?

Oh, you want, oh, so y'all can beat up on somebody.

You want me to watch that?

Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

We beat up on the Steelers.

I ain't say nothing about that.

Oh, you said something about it.

Hey,

who y'all got?

We got the Cowboys.

425 or 8:30 game.

425.

Yeah, but it ain't looking too good for y'all, boy.

I don't know, boy.

Pickings might, Piggins is now goddamn.

CD Lamb might have 300 yards altogether.

Well,

they might get it on Riley Moss.

They ain't going to get it on Sertan.

You know that.

So you think Riley Moss is going to give her 300 yards by itself?

They ain't going to get it on.

I know they're not going to get anything on Sertan.

Okay.

All right.

Man, Aaron Gordon had 50 points, and they still lost.

17 of 21, 10 of 11 from three.

Wait, 50, 50?

50.

Jokic had a triple-double.

Jamar Murray had 25, and they still got beat by the Warriors.

Steph had 42.

I knew.

I was just going to ask you.

Steph must have went crazy.

42.

Jimmy Butler had 21.

Draymond had 13.

Kaminga had 14.

Al Horford had 13.

Buddy Hill had 11.

Oh, I forgot Al Horford was there.

Yep.

I'm getting out of town.

Y'all can't.

Boston Wayne got no chance.

Uh-uh.

Not at all.

Not without Tatum.

No, absolutely not.

Oh, Joe.

We have some good news for you, though.

Me?

Take a listen to what Jamar Chase had to say earlier today.

Yeah, yeah.

Jamar, what's the

biggest number of catches you think you can get in a game?

26.

I mean, I left a lot out there.

If I'm going to be honest, I left a lot out there.

So, but I doubt I'm really going to get 26, though.

But probably like 17, 18.

You don't think you can get 20?

Yeah.

I mean, the sky's the limit at the end of the day.

Sky's always a limit.

But it's going to get, it's not going to be easy.

Tell you that.

Like, I don't want

bubbles as

five catches, ten catches, you know?

So

No, no, no.

No more goals are up.

Super Bowl.

That's it.

That's it.

I like it.

He understands.

I like that.

He understands.

They look at receivers that have Super Bowl rings different.

I understand.

Not only the quarterback is really judged heavily.

Right.

But,

you know, when they throw, when they throw it, when they talk about Jerry, what is the one thing Jerry can have over Randy?

What he can have over T.O., what he can have over Fitzgerald, Chris Carter, all those guys.

What did he have?

Super Bowl rings.

Rings, yeah.

Yeah.

And so, Chase, like, oh, no, yes, I'm going to have a bunch of catches.

I'm going to have a bunch of yards considering where I'm at, where my career started.

Right.

But at the end of the day, they're going to be looking at me sideways.

I don't get no jewelry, especially with the quarterback that I got.

Yeah.

Well, uh,

when he's healthy.

Yes.

Thank you.

Yeah.

You got to stay healthy, Ocho.

My goddamn bangles, but we're going to be all right, boy.

We finna run the table, man.

We finna run the table.

I feel good about that.

It's bad here.

Ocho, let me know what you think about this.

Tyreek Hill is weighing his option after suffering a season ending injury last month.

He said on the set podcast that he's undecided about whether to retire or continue playing.

Right now, I'm happy being with my kids.

I'm happy with the career I've had, and I love playing football.

I love it, but it, man, but it takes a lot, man, to be the best and to stay at the top.

And I'm at the point now where I need to have a conversation with my mom, family, and everybody.

Like I said, wherever my mind is at the time, the decision to be made.

But I just right now feel like I haven't had time to just live in the moment.

I just, I just be in the moment with my family.

He's not retiring.

He's not retiring.

He's going through the withdrawals of not being able to play right now.

You can't run.

You hobbled.

You're injured right now.

You got to rehab.

Once he gets back in form,

however long that takes, the thought of retiring is far gone.

He has too much football left to play.

Yeah.

Yeah, too much football left to play.

Not only does he have too much football left to play, there's a new journey.

There's a new change.

There's a change of scenery waiting on him.

i'm not sure where it may be i'm sure we'll be a place that can use his skill set

and even if he's not as fast as he once was he'll still be faster than everybody else you're absolutely right

everything that you said is true yeah yeah that's the damn man i got hurt

i mean it's a serious injury he dislocated his knee and he tore ligaments yeah

He'll be back, though.

Yeah, for sure.

And the exciting part for Tyreek Hill is, I know I'm coming back, right?

I got to whip myself back into shape,

get back close to 100% as I can, right?

And get ready to contribute to a new team.

Where that is, I don't know.

That's the exciting part for me.

How much money Tyreek got guaranteed next year?

It was 54, 50 something.

That's what his cap number.

I'm talking about

how much does he have guaranteed?

Okay.

Because this is the first year of a thirty of a three-year $90 million deal, wasn't it?

First, this might be the second year, I think.

I thought

this was so he had one more year left, but they have a potential out in the summer for some after this year.

Wow.

where they won't owe him any more money huh

okay yeah

oh yeah but we knew uh look I knew one way or another he wasn't gonna be there.

Either he's gonna get traded or he's gonna be cut.

Yeah, I know he wasn't gonna be there after this year.

yeah i think if if he if he hadn't gotten hurt he would be he'd be traded by the deadline correct

traded by the deadline

i think the thing is ocho in in a situation like this you know

because it's going to take him a little extra time because he had a dislocation and he tore a couple of i think he tore two ligaments in his knee acl and

yeah i mean it it he wrecked it pretty good yeah so um that happened in in October,

November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June, eight months, July, August.

I'll come back in 12, 10, 10, 10, 11 months.

10, 11, 2, 3, October.

Yeah, they said he tore multiple ligaments and

there's a,

obviously he tore the big one.

He'll be ready by the start of the season.

Ocho, he tore multiple ligaments and he dislocated the knee.

I think he'll be ready, huh?

And you got to understand, Ocho, that's a lot of planting and cutting.

That's a lot of speed.

Think about when you run a comeback at that kind of speed.

Yeah, that thing got to be solid.

Yeah,

not only does that have to be solid, a period of time.

Yes, absolutely.

Yeah.

Ocho, it's time to play

play or fade, presented by prize picks.

Oh, I'm going to cash this one out.

Brandon Ingram, more than five rebounds versus Milwaukee.

That's tomorrow.

Moore.

Jalen Johnson, more than four assists versus Orlando.

He's a Steels guy.

I'm going to say, so if,

do I lose if he gets four?

Yes.

He should have

we push.

All right, I'm going to say, I'm going to say more.

I'm going to say he have at least four.

Yeah, we thought that about Bidal, too.

He doubled us up.

Norman Powell is going to have more than three and a half rebounds.

Victor William Benyama is going to have more than nine and a half field goals.

Kay Cunningham is going to have more than five and a half rebounds.

How many, how many people?

Oh, yeah, he was 17 to 21.

Yeah, oh, yeah.

Will be going to average at least 25 this year.

25 a game?

Yeah.

How many blocks are he going to average?

Probably about three,

three, three and a half.

Yeah, he like me.

$25 to win $250.

Download the app.

Use code Shannon to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup.

It's good to be right.

All right, OJo, we're going to get your hand on this one.

It's time for our final segment of the evening.

It's time for Q and A.

Hey, I'll probably do Wimby something bad, boy, one-on-one, huh?

Man, you wouldn't even get a shot off.

Who?

T.S.

Car wash and detail.

Oh, you look the same height as Paul Pierce.

No, hell, I didn't.

Antonio

Agata said, come on, Ocho.

It's a little rough right now, but don't forget, simprena.

Oh, no, no.

Hey, hey, hey, listen.

It's always Napoli, but I'm wearing a legend.

Now, this ain't just no any AC Milan jersey.

Hold on.

Was that Ronald Dinho?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

That's that boy.

That's that boy.

One of my favorite players.

You know, my favorite team is Napoli.

I love Napoli.

And this is also...

uh a team in city y'all ac milan so me wearing this is like oh you're not supposed to be wearing it but this this is the legend this is this is okay this is okay

dr Frankie Ella Bellamy said, oh, last night was deep.

I felt your pain,

but also felt you healing.

We all go through darkness, but it takes one guiding light to see us through.

You have many, many likes, God, your fam, and more.

I ain't going nowhere, no question, with you to the end.

Thank you, Doc.

Thank you.

Yeah, you know, sometimes,

you know.

Stars only come out when it's dark.

You'll find out who your friends are when it's dark.

Friends are like stars, ocho they really come out when it's dark oh yeah

uh another guy the guy that actually the guy that i i i've really never had a whole lot of dealings with ocho

the guy that texts me every week yeah two and a half months straight just to check charles barkley hey bro hey barkley funny i did the interview with him last what 24 summer 24 summer we exchanged information oh i ain't expecting nobody

demanding

Yeah.

Just like, hey, bro, I'm just calling, just call it, just checking on you.

Keep your head up.

We all go through stuff.

And that meant a lot.

Yeah.

And you know, the funny thing, too, especially those in the chat, you know, you got a lot of people around you, you know, whether you're doing good or you know, you got money or whatnot.

You never know who your true friends are until that time.

Till you go through something.

Until you go through something.

You never know.

You never know.

I'm telling you,

I was able to resonate with you when that stuff happened.

And when we talked about it last night, and I thought about my circle, my circle has always been small.

So therefore, when that issue, when that problem happened, the same people were right there.

Hey, Unk, T.O., right there by my side.

Everything good.

You good?

Everything straight?

My same small circle.

from Cincinnati, my homeboys, Maine, Locke, Los, Rico, you know, same group, Doink, you know, down here in Miami.

My brothers, Sam and Chauncey,

that's two hands.

Less than, that's two hands.

That's it.

Ain't nobody else.

Everybody was right there.

So

I had to go through that.

Man, they've been here, man.

But when the ship was sailing high, when the ship sunk, and now we're back floating again.

That's it.

It's Savage,

Ocho, Oklahoma native here.

how we looking man okc thunder sga sets a career high 55 points the first team to go back to back double overtime and win i know it's early but what do you guys take on uh you guys look good they're doing this with ij dubb the second best player hasn't been there you know shea is gonna be shea i think he shot like 26 free throws he's gonna get to the foul line he's he's a tough cover You know, he can get to the rim mid-range.

You can shoot the three well enough that you can't just leave him open.

And then he puts pressure on you because he's going to attack, attack, attack, attack, and attack.

And he's going to make the officials either they're going to swallow their whistle or they're going to blow it.

I hate that people call him that.

I hate that they call him a free throw merchant because

listen, he's able to manipulate his game and drawing flap, drawing fouls, and get into the free throw line.

Hell, D-Wade does it too.

D-Wade did it too.

Goddamn, James Harden is also a masterclass when it comes to doing it as well.

I mean, I'm not, why do people do that?

Well, they got to have a re they got to explain why he's playing the way he's playing right

so instead of getting hey the guys immensely talented most guys drew a lot of free throws though jordan used to draw a lot of free throws cold used to draw a lot of free throws

braun for the amount of amount of times that he drove the ball shaft didn't draw no free throws because shaq been shooting 30 free throws a game and then nobody want to see that so they just let people beat the hell out of shaq right uh but most of the guys carl malone shot a lot of free throws they're really good players normally normally to shoot free throws, especially if you attack the rim.

Tyson says, hey, could you give my family a shout out?

We recently lost our father, Wilkins Gustav.

Yes.

So sorry to hear that, Tyson.

Your family, hopefully, in this time of sorrow, you have understanding, you find comfort, and you find peace.

And God give you that.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your father, but just know

he's in a good place now.

No more pain, no more suffering.

And you know what?

If we live the life, you know, we shouldn't fear death.

If we live the life

that's worthy of living,

isn't that the way we get to our ultimate destination is through death.

So I guess that's the celebration that we should have.

But Tyson,

I grieve for you and your family.

Kristen Phil says, Chauncey and Rozier tipped over dollars trying to pick up pennies.

So sad.

Uncle Nocho, now would y'all feel if y'all teammate sold the game for money?

Hell yeah, I will feel some type of way.

Yeah.

You gonna give out information?

I ain't even talking to my people.

Yeah.

And you know, the funny too, the funny thing about it is, is the people that are in position to actually impact and affect games wouldn't be gambling anyway.

They wouldn't be in position doing that.

But they talk about the information.

Oh, they met.

Okay.

Hey, you know, Carson ain't going to play this week.

don't say nothing, though, right?

And TJ, man, I don't know.

I don't think TJ is gonna play this week.

You see, hey, just like that, right?

You don't, you don't, you ain't even thinking nothing about it.

Man, Ocho, right, man.

Ocho say Carson ain't gonna play this week.

Just like that, Ocho.

They ain't got you caught up.

You just, hey, man,

practice all week.

I don't even know.

I don't even know if

Carson is gonna play.

Right.

You just saying, just, hey,

that's why you can't.

No pillar talking.

Yeah.

Triple S Cop Saturday.

NCA approved a rule change on Wednesday that will allow athletes and athletic director, department staff members to bet on professional sports.

Look,

college football is coming just like the NFL.

The reason why the coaches make so much money.

And the players are getting paid.

That's why they're not putting up with that.

You're not finna get nobody.

You're not finna keep losing.

Dabble, not.

no

yeah they're paying too much brian kelly probably gonna walk out and walk away anyway because he said he wanted to go somewhere where he can compete for a championship he ain't come close to compete

and they spent a boatload of money at lsu

he left notaday because he said he wanted to compete for a championship that's what he said if it's a lie he told it

he ain't come close

Losing to Alabama and Georgia.

Okay, I get that.

That's Alabama and Georgia.

Vanderbilt putting foots in you now.

Oh, yeah.

Vanderbilt, hey, Vanderbilt ain't nothing to be joked up with this year now.

So,

but,

boy, look here.

It's professional.

College football is professional sports now, Ocho.

You look at the money.

You look at the money the coaching staff and the coaches make.

They got, you know.

15 to 20 million dollars tied up in a coaching staff.

Yeah.

You got somewhere between 8 and 15 million tied up in a in your in your team yeah it i call it you know what i call it i call it a starter kit college football is now the starter kit before you make it to the league we're gonna give you we're gonna give you a small semiconductor what it's gonna be like at the next level you're absolutely correct

dagnate cobbins you got to know when to hold him you got to know when to fold him you got to know when to walk away know when to run you never count your money at the table kenny yep kenny rogers that's the gambler you do but here's the thing you got to be careful if you're a professional athlete sitting at that table yeah

because you never know that's why you got to be careful how you talk to and who you talk to ocho let's just say i'm in the airport and i'm talking to somebody i don't even know who it is somebody take a picture

he'll mobster Now, how do I explain that, Ocho?

I'm just having a conversation.

I don't know who this man is.

You mean to tell me you don't know who he is?

No, who is he?

You mean to tell me you don't know who that is?

Mofo, I told you I didn't know who that was.

Now, who is he?

You see, got caught up just that quick.

You're having a conversation.

You in a restaurant, Ocho.

Hey, how you doing, Mr.

Sharp?

Hey, how you doing?

I'm such and such.

If you don't say Sammy the Bull, I don't know who you'll say.

You know what I'm saying?

Sammy the Bull.

Yeah, you don't say something like that.

I ain't gonna know who the hell you are.

Right.

Lucky Luciana or Myralansky.

You don't say no name like that.

Rest their soul.

I don't know.

Yeah.

And then obviously, you know, they don't look like that no more.

Exactly.

They don't dress like that no more.

Timothy Humphrey, salute, Uncanocho.

Y'all, y'all talking facts.

The Giants idiot kicker cost me my parlay.

Brie Carter, the NBA is definitely rigged.

Cause how the Miles trade their franchise player, but get rewarded with the number one pick.

Make it make sense.

That's a good one.

Thank you for highlighting what's great and the excellence associated with historically black colleges and universities.

Unfortunately, Mr.

Johnson, you did not attend one.

I went to an HBCU and I did it when it wasn't cool, when it wasn't popular.

The only time you heard about it is when Lou Rawls was talking about the United Negro college fund, because the mind is a terrible thing to waste.

you waste now.

Hold on, hold on.

I went to, I was only at Oregon State for four months, so technically, I don't care.

I don't count.

I'm

a rap.

So, when they put your name up, they say, Starting at wide receiver, number 85, Chad Johnson, what was under that?

Was it Fam you or Oregon State?

It said Fam you, then slash Famu.

It said Oregon State.

Shakura said, would you rather have Curry with Shaq's size or Shaq with Curry shooting?

Man.

Either one, it doesn't matter.

Man,

what you going to do if Shaq can shoot three, if Shaq was his size and can shoot threes like Curry, that man average 100 points a game.

Yeah, that wouldn't even be fair.

No.

I mean, just that.

Just think if God had made Steph Curry 6'8.

Oh, hell.

With his ability to shoot like that.

Nah, that ain't fair.

Y'all want the man to have everything.

Y'all want him to be 6'8, shoot like that.

Have the ball like that.
