Oh, Joe, Joe, Kevin Stefansky says Shador Sanders is not getting any first-team reps like Dylan Gabriel, like he did, like Dylan Gabriel did when Joe Flacco was the starter.
Stefanski said it's because Gabriel being young, you want to make sure he's getting a lot of reps.
It's different when you have a vet like Joe.
Oh, Joe, what you think?
Is this normal protocol?
Hell no, you know that ain't normal protocol.
You should be doing the same exact thing you've been doing with Joe Flacco and Dylan Gabriel.
Now, if Dylan Gabriel is a starter, you should be doing the same thing you were doing with Dylan Gabriel and Joe Flacco with goddamn Shadur.
It's a bunch of trash.
And all that is telling me is that Shadur is not closer to getting the starting job until
Dylan Gabriel shows that he just can't get the job done.
And that's why I say that probably maybe towards the end of the season, maybe last three weeks, Dylan Gabriel, at some point, teams are going to force him.
You're going to have to beat us with your arm.
We're not going to
allow QJ to run up and down the field.
They're going to play.
They're going to stack nine in the box.
You're going to have to prove that you can beat us with your arm.
That's it.
You're right.
I mean, I think, look, everywhere I've been, even when we had veteran quarterbacks or whatever, he get one or two reps.
I know.
Obviously, if you normally, I don't know how it was, but we had 10 plays.
We ran 10 plays per period.
Offense got 10, defense got 10.
Offense got 10, defense got 10.
Okay.
Special teams do what they do, whether it was punt, punt, return, kick, kick, return, whatever the case may be.
And then guess what, Ocho?
Another 10, another 10, another 10, number 10, so forth and so on.
But you mean to tell me Shadur can't get one rep, two reps with the starters?
I mean, out of 10 reps, he can't get one.
What would that do?
That would be wasting time.
Getting one or two reps with the starter is wasting time.
And obviously, on the fancy side, also, it can give Dylan Gabriel some type of
word I'm looking for.
Some type of security.
Okay, my job is not in jeopardy.
I'm not playing as well as I think I should be playing.
So I'm getting all the reps to make sure that those reps actually count in practice.
And once I get into the games, I'm familiar with those situations.
Okay.
That's all.
I can see it from that point too, you know, as a coach wanting him to get all the reps so he can get a little bit more comfortable with the situations based on, it ain't the preseason no more.
It ain't the preseason.
I can't see it.
Listen, they playing the goddamn Patriots this goddamn Sunday.
And that defense.
Man, look here.
All that check down here and check down there and trying to stay with you.
They're sitting on everything.
They're going to be sitting on everything.
Everything.
Hey, look, I can't see it.
I don't see how he can't get no reps.
Man, you don't know what's going to happen.
This is the NFL, bro.
You're one play away.
So now when the guy goes in, he ain't never prepared because he ain't getting no reps.
You were talking about where he he can't.
Like I said, Joe, I agree with you.
I'm not saying, oh, Joe, you split it five and five, but he can't get one to two reps in a 10-play series.
Yeah, I understand what you mean.
I understand what you mean.
Even if it ain't nothing but a handoff.
That's what I'm saying.
It don't make no sense to me, man.
A handoff, huh?
Yeah, even if it ain't nothing but a handoff.
Yeah,
I'm sure Shadur would like to throw the ball.
But just, hey, let him see the blocking with the first team.
O.
Let him see
the mesh point with the first team running back.
Things like it's simple.
It seems simple.
Let him take a snap from the guy that's going to be in the game.
Look, and I get it.
And I understand, like you said, Ocho, that, you know, Gabriel needs a lot of reps, but I don't think you stud his growth.
I don't think you harm him in any way if you give Shadua one to two reps in a 10-play series.
I don't.
Hey, I'm with you.
I'm with you.
I'm with you.
Like we said, man, it's the NFL.
You never know when you're going to need Shadua.
It's a long season.
Hey, look, man, you get him out there and he ain't had no reps with none of the guys.
Now it's going to seem foreign to him.
I see he's still putting in the work.
But man, listen, you got to get that man a couple reps in practice, man.
Come on now.
Because at the end of the day, everybody look good in practice.
I want to know when you get in the game.
But if you haven't done it in the game, it's hard to come in off the, just come in and just go.
Yeah.
Because
it's a thousand times faster in the game than what it is in practice.
And guys be moving in practice.
But boy, that thing is warp speed.
Come game time.
You come in that game, them guys already lathered up.
They've been, they already played a quarter or two.
Boy, please.
Oh, yeah, they hunting.
They hunting.
Ocho, Joe.
Another day, another bizarre statement from Tua at the presser.
Let's take a listen to what Tua had to say today, Ocho.
Yeah, I think with that, some of it has to do with being able to see guys
with their guys also up front and our guys.
And I'm not the tallest guy in the back there either.
So being able to see and then, you know, sometimes when that happens, you don't want to just throw it blindly and you got to progress.
So I think that that had some merit to reasons as to why that happened for Waddle.
I think he's referring to Jaden Waddle not getting any targets in the previous game that he just played against the Browns.
no, I don't think so.
No, not any.
I don't think he even had any catches.
But that goes to say, Tu is not that tall.
Well, hell, neither is Kylie Murray.
Well, neither is Baker Mayfield.
Neither is some other quarterback that
Russell Wilson, Russell Wilson, but all of them find a way to get the job done.
So we can't use, oh, the offensive line was tall.
Oh, the D-line, I can't see.
It's all about anticipation.
Understand.
Four targets, one catch, Ocho.
Yep.
Come on, man.
Was four targets, one catch.
Joe.
That's your best weapon outside of Devon Aitchen.
That's your best weapon.
So you have to be able to get in the ball.
Tyree Killer is gone.
Who's the next Speezer that can move the chains?
Who's your next?
Darren Waller is out also.
He strained a peck muscle.
Peck.
Yeah.
I mean, Ocho, what y'all got going on down in Miami?
I don't know, Joe.
Joe, I don't know.
I don't know, Joe.
Honestly, to me, at this point, I say you blow the whole thing up.
got that i say i say blow blow the whole thing up and just start i think that lady was in um in in georgia when she told that police officer when he arrested her you about to lose your job
you about to lose your job
i don't i don't like talk himself out of that job oh
yeah to make some money over there though uh that's okay they gonna have to eat that
A team that's worth 7 billion or eat 55 million.
That's a tax write-off.
Oh.
hey, Ocho.
It hurts.
Why would you make an excuse to, like, oh, yeah, because, you know, I'm not the tallest guy back there, and they're not the tallest.
What?
I don't know.
I guarantee you, Ocho, when he went in for his interviews, he ain't mentioned his height one time.
He didn't mention one time that he has a problem seeing over linemen, seeing down the field.
What do you think the chances are, Ocho, when he was going in on his interviews that he brought, he mentioned his height?
No.
They got, they got passing lanes for a reason.
You anticipate, you anticipate throws for a reason.
Tua is a very, very, very good, above-average
rhythm quarterback.
His
anticipatory skills are really good.
That's how he plays.
That's how he runs the offense.
it just seems like Ocho, the more he talks, the worse it gets.
Yeah, and I understand as a quarterback, Ocho, you got to have that press.
So normally it's on uh Wednesday or Thursday.
Yeah, some quarterbacks, some of them have it on Thursday, some of them have it on Wednesday.
So he has to talk.
He's the starting quarterback, but boy, he has to.
He's not doing himself any favor.
Shouldn't he have some type of training and what to say?
He should have had the training already.
He went to Alabama.
Alabama, make sure you get all that.
Hey, look, you gotta, you gotta cut out the excuses, man, and have some accountability at the end of the day at the end of the day ah that's what it comes down to that's it
that's tough just say you got to play better man you that's
tada that's it you say you got to play better and stop you know dancing around and coming up with all these excuses just
he just i mean like i said the more he talks the worse it gets He threw his teammates under the bus.
And the thing was, he threw them under the bus after he had one of his worst games of the year.
If you could believe that, because all of them ain't none of them been really good.
And then
he follows that up with another stinker.
Yeah.
So back-to-back, excuse me, back-to-back week, three interception games.
And that's what we're supposed to follow.
Well, he got, he got 10 on the season so far, huh?
I think so.
I'm assuming he would be leading the NFL in interceptions.
No, I think Geno got that one.
Oh, shit.
I say, I think Geno got that a lot.
seen i seen i seen what coach was like i hope he don't get 10.
he might
yeah
oh two and uh gino are tied i mean both of them got 10.
damn damn
i i just
at some point in time you know you just have to be like you know what you got to do the you got to do the presser because you're the starting quarterback but they're going to be a time mocho if he keeps playing like this guess what he won't have to do it uh
yours or zach wilson will be doing the pressing right damn man because they they they can't because you can't i understand he makes a lot of money right
but you got 52 other guys in that locker room ocho that you have an account for now yeah and they see he not playing well
and it's a lot easier when you're not playing well and we don't like you because you already did some slick-ish yeah
you know what i'm saying ocho yeah
hey
There's only one way to overcome this.
And I mean, for tourists sake, and that's what you play.
Now, they might not look at you the same as a teammate anymore, but if you continue to play bad,
it's going to get even worse.
I don't see how you play better, Ocho.
It's not, Ocho.
If you look at this team, I mean, they needed Tyreek to open things up.
Tyreek could take the top off.
It gave everybody else an opportunity to work up underneath.
Right.
So there was so much space.
It's kind of like you're on the the court with Steph Curry.
There's going to be a lot of space because they're going to be trying to crowd him.
Right.
Right.
Well, with no Steph on the court, who I need to crowd?
I can condense it now.
I ain't got to worry about nobody.
Right.
Same thing with no Tyree.
I'm not nearly as worried about Waddle as I once was.
Right.
And then who else I got?
They don't have a very good offensive line.
Tua is not fast.
Hell, if I shut down the run, where he going?
If I play Cover 5, OJo, if I play two, man, what you are going?
Who he got running?
And like you said, he already said he's not the tallest guy.
And the fact that he's not a dual threat, Joe, and
he has to be that
better.
He'll do a threat.
He's liable to throw a pick or fumble it.
So he'll do a threat.
Oh, I know what you mean.
You mean running and passing the football.
Okay, I thought you meant Drew.
Hey, that's messed up.
Hey, he can get better, man.
It's still early in the season.
All that.
I don't, but he can't.
How many times has he been sacked?
I don't know if his offensive line is that good.
And he ain't much better.
It looked like one time
they let the defense just come in and say, yeah, since you're snitching.
Hey, they act like that in football, huh?
Yeah.
You doing all this talking to the media.
Yeah,
we're going to let let these pass rushers get right on up in there.
Well, he done got he done got benched.
So he might have had more.
How many times did they sack you once he came in the game?
Because they put them on his head too.
But he's still the starter, though, ain't he?
Yeah.
I don't know for how much longer, Joe, but he is.
Oh, so they put him back in this week.
They haven't said that.
Well, he did say.
He said he's the starter, and his expectation is he doesn't throw 10 picks.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, well, hell, he's making 50 men a year.
He ain't got no choice but to start.
Hello.
Yeah.
Right.
So,
I mean, there are a lot of quarterbacks that have been sacked more than Tua that don't turn the ball over, like Tua.
So
you can't turn the ball over and take a bunch of sacks.
In fact, who we got?
This who we got?
Because a lot of times, Ocho, we're saying, okay, he's taking sacks to avoid turnovers.
But
you turning the ball over still.
It's just,
I think for me, it's just going to be a situation.
He got to go, Ocho.
Hey,
damn, we got the Falcons this week.
Oh.
Yeah.
Y'all, what you call about
Bijan about to go for like 150.
In Atlanta?
In Atlanta?
Yeah, in Atlanta.
Hey,
them boys ain't nothing nice here in Atlanta, boy.
Oh, they're on that turf.
They got something.
And then it looked like we got the Ravens right after that in a short week, Thursday night.
Lamar be back, won't he?
Yeah.
He was
practicing.
Yeah.
Hey, it's Bobby from the Bobby Bones Show.

Check this out.
So how did Ashes come together, Diplo?
Well,
I kind of briefly met Bailey, I think, at Morgan's show, one of them.
And I think he's just the guy in Nashville.
He's cool as hell.
And I had a new kind of sound I wanted to do.
And I think he's the one guy that could carry it.
And I came to his house.
I had a show.
I pulled up real quick.
He was about to leave on tour.
You're about to jump in your tour bus.
And we had like three hours, played the record for him.
We kind of like got a scratch.
And then he handled it on his own on the road.
Yeah.
It was really cool.
He literally just like randomly showed up to my house.

Oh, Joe, Joe, Joe, you will like this.
The Cowboys have reached out to the Raiders about the potential trade for Max Crosby or Trey Wingo.
Uh-oh.
Joe, would you like to see your squad make this trade?
Man, come on.
Hey, look.
Hey, y'all.
One thing y'all got to listen.
Listen.
Okay.
Ocho, y'all got to give us some props now.
Cause
we've been doing our thing.
All right.
You tighten us up a little more on defense.
We can end up.
We can get Crosby.
Man.
It's going to be a real problem then now.
Well, listen.
Yeah.
We need somebody who regless abandoned on that defense end, man, who can help us out get to that quarterback, man.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Them boys with him.
Them boys with the pressure that he can generate.
You know, pairing with Sam Williams,
they'll have a nice little squad now.
Them boys looking good, man.
Y'all know Jay took a lot of heat for not signing Parsons.
So
he's making some moves around now.
He's making some moves.
But you do realize to get Crosby, them two first-round picks, you got to give them up.
Yeah, I see.
Now that don't make sense.
You're going to give up your two first-round picks, right?
To go get Matt Crosby.
When you left one of the, you let one of the younger, better pass rushes.
He's two years younger.
It makes no sense, Joe.
You could just took care of you.
What's the price?
He was cheaper, though.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
He's $12 million a year cheaper.
Okay.
Hey, hey, we got this high-power offense over here, man.
We need something to back up on this defense end.
We put enough for the boss.
Hey, come on now.
Y'all need one centerpiece, whether it be a DN, whether it be a huge D tackle.
I mean, hell, you could even get somebody really good on the back end, you know, another superstar corner
that might be on the market.
Oh,
huh?
Who?
Oh, Treyvon.
I don't know.
I don't know if he's going to play this week.
Jerry was kind of mum on
with Trayvon or whether or not he's going to play this week.
I mean, there was a lot of speculation what transpired,
what caused the concussion.
I don't know.
I don't feel like speculating.
Everybody say, I mean, everybody in Dallas, a lot of people in the chat seem to, they must have been, they must have been at the house
when the alleged incident supposedly happened.
But
if I, that, I told you last year, Ocho, if I was the Eagles, I'd have reached out.
If I was the, if I was the Lions, I would have reached out
to the Raiders.
Right.
But you know, the Raiders might as well just say, listen, the Raiders probably going to say no.
Why?
Max Crosby is the Raiders' identity.
Yep.
Mac Crosby is the face of that organization.
I mean, the chances of them actually letting him go is slim to none unless the package deal is absolutely worth it for the foreseeable future, as far as picks.
Two first-round picks?
Oh, they got, what, what did they, hold up, they gave, think about what the Packers gave up to get Michael Parsons.
Oh, yeah.
Two first-round picks and a former Pro Bowl player in Kenny Clark.
Yeah.
I think they'll get up off.
Yeah, probably.
When's the deadline, huh?
November 4th.
Oh, that's right around the corner.
Uh-huh.
Damn.
What, two weeks?
Hey, hey, hey, them Cowboys.
Them boys have been in, man.
Hey, they look good, boy.
That offense, man, Jesus Christ.
Yeah, they look good.
You can't.
I ain't even finna lie.
Got CD Kane back looking good.
Pickens, Williams, look good.
Devontae Williams, I think he's like second in the league, second or third in the league in rushing.
Yeah.
Oh, he played.
He played.
They got two ones at wideout.
Dak is dealing.
Dak is
better than at any point in time in his career.
And he's had some seasons in which you throw the ball, but the way he's spinning it around.
Hey, hey, Dakota Prescott ain't playing, man.
Hey, look, he looks.
Yeah, man.
He looked like he's in great shape, too.
Yeah.
Like, he looked like he lost some weight.
Yeah.
Hey, hey, he got, I mean, you go back and look at it.
He got married and got a family.
Look, there you go.
There you go.
Hey, remember what I told you, right?
Yeah.
You notice how everyone that's putting the ring on their finger and getting married, showing I have structure, have discipline.
All right, this is my foundation.
I'm going to build from here on out.
Yeah.
You notice that everybody is flourishing, right?
Wow.
I hear what you listen.
We don't have to wait two years.
I'm going to pick up what you're putting down now.
Oh, okay.
Stay with me.
Yeah, Joe.
I'm going to, hey, he put it down.
I'm going to pick it up.
We ain't got to wait two years.
Number three overall draft pick, Vijay Edgecombe, had one hell of a rookie debut tonight against the Celtics.
Edgecombe, 14 points in the first quarter, broke LeBron's rookie record, most points in the first quarter in an NBA debut.
And he wasn't done.
34 points are the most points in the Sixers' rookie debut, surpassing Allen Iverson's record of 30 in 1996 against the Buck.
Edgecombe, 34.
Tyrese Maxey, fought it.
Joylin Bede only played, only played 20 minutes.
He still,
but he had four points.
But those two, that back court went crazy.
Say it with me.
They went crazy.
Tyrese Maxie
played 41 minutes.
He was 13 of 24.
7 of 9 from 3.
7 of 1 from the free throw line, 40 points.
Edgecombe played 42 minutes.
He was 13 of 26.
5 of 13.
3 of 6 from the the free throw line for 34.
So the back court combined for 74 of the 117.
That ain't it, Ojo.
Hey,
MB look like he laboring, man.
I know he won one for nine, but
he don't look explosive anymore.
You know what I mean?
Joe, you know, they can only go in your knees so many times.
They can only go in your back so many times before.
And that's a big man.
It is.
I mean, Joe, you know that.
You know, getting up and down that court trying to play those minutes when you he rehabbed you know to be in shape you got to train rehabbing does rehabbing just gets you back to where you were training takes you to the next level yeah he hasn't been able to train he's been rehabbing just trying to get back to the point
go ahead joe i understand i understand that uh and you know what his body does look good he does look like he in shape he just doesn't look explosive now i'm gonna tell y'all something about this vj kid, this rookie.
That man said him and his mama lived off a generator.
He's playing for a different reason.
You hear me?
Yeah.
I'm for real, Ocho.
Hey, you look at that boy body.
He looked like a sprinter out there.
He looked like he run track.
That man is in elite shape.
He is an elite athlete, and he's going to be perfect for the sixes.
That man put up 26 shots tonight, man.
As a rookie, Ocho.
Playing with MB and Maxie.
Hold on.
I got a question for you, Joe.
What's up?
Where do Paul George fit in this mix?
Uh-oh.
Them two guards.
Well, first off, you can't take this young boy out.
You can't take him out because in summer league, he showed promise.
In the preseason, he showed promise.
And now, first game of the season, he's came out.
He's competed at a high level.
Man, played 42 minutes, man.
I'm talking about he balled out, bro.
Like, you can't play more minutes than anybody.
Yeah, you can't taper that down.
You want him to continue to be aggressive, to continue to assert himself on both ends of the floor because he can dominate both ends of the floor he's a hell of a two-way player i love him i love him hold on joe hold on now hold on he's a two-way player he was dominant tonight as good as he looks all the multiple things that he can do when paul george comes back young bull gonna have to go to the bench No, he ain't.
He ain't.
Whoever this Barlow dude is up here, he goes at the four, he gonna have to go.
He gonna have to go to the bench.
And Ubre gonna have to move to the four or something.
They're not taking that boy out that lineup.
Nah, he's the number three pick.
Yeah, he ain't coming out that lineup.
Ain't going to no, he ain't coming off no bench.
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Yeah, he comes.
He, hey, hey, he's doing exactly what they want him to do, and that's be aggressive, right?
Uh, make plays on both ends of the floor.
And man, look, he plays great off of Maxie.
Like,
this young backcourt here got some promise, bro.
And they scored 42 points in the fourth quarter.
Yeah, they weren't playing.
They weren't playing them boys nasty.
And that was in Boston.
That was on the road yeah yeah yep well they got me hype for basketball season boy oh man put that ball down man listen that thing nasty boy nasty
ocho you gotta chill
hey hey joe hey lady joe hey joe let's go to a let's go to a hulk game joe i mean say less which one you want to go to I man, I don't know.
You know, I got to be in Atlanta Tuesday.
Tuesday?
Yeah,
I fly in Monday.
I got to film something.
I got to film something with Cam.
Let me see who they are.
Hey, man, we'll go to the game and see Corsair.
Get some hot dogs.
Wimby doing a number
on
the Mavericks.
Wimby got 31, 11 of 17.
31 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, a steal, an assist.
They playing the maths.
What's Cooper Flag doing?
Hey, that's what I finna say.
Man, Cooper Flag won a he had zero points at the half.
He won for eight, two points, minus 22.
Can I tell y'all something?
I'm being honest with y'all.
I like Cooper Flag game.
Yeah.
And I know Jay Kidd is going to get the most out of him, but I don't know about him playing this point guard, guys.
No, no, no.
I don't know what he is.
The point, why he not at the four?
Man, they got AD.
Anthony Davis is at the four.
They got P.
Well, they got Derrick Lively the second at the five.
They got PJ at the three.
They got AD at the four.
They got Klupin Flag at the point, and they got Clay at the two.
Hey,
that's not right at all.
That's not right.
They need a point guard.
Hey, listen, it's third quarter here, minus 23.
Damn.
It's the same thing with the Rockets.
The Rockets need a point guard.
Yeah.
They do.
Thompson,
I look, I like Armin Thompson.
He's a phenomenal player, but he's not a point.
Yeah, they stroke getting that ball up the court yesterday, man.
Hey, hey, they whole goddamn lineup.
Everybody's 6'11.
6'7.
Yeah, Almond Thompson is the shortest.
Everybody else, 6'11.
Yeah.
Shingoon,
KD,
Porter.
Yeah, Jabar, excuse me, Jabari Smith, and
Stephen Adams.
And boy, the boy tall as hell, man.
Joe, how tall you is, Joe?
6'8.
Golly.
Hey, I thought I was tall as 6'4, man.
Them boys is 6'4.
who's six fold
me
hey a lot i don't care who's telling this boy here hey though
hey joe i'm six fold joe you never see me in person oh joe man we just got back on here man i i like hanging out with y'all man but you got to stop it man
joe you ain't never see me in person cut it out joe tell me cut it out what's wrong with it you gotta chill my boy
No, I'm 6'4, Joe.
Okay, all right.
All right.
Hey,
I feel like it, though.
I play like it, too.
I don't know about all that.
I've seen you play.
You need to chill.
Hey, that was one game.
Hey, Joe, I was at that facilitated like magic.
No, you're not quite like magic.
Magic.
Hey, it's Bobby from the Bobby Bones Show.
I had an incredible time at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival and even got the chance to hang out with Diplo and Bailey Zimmerman while I was there.
Check this out.
So how did Ashes come together, Diplo?
Well,
I kind of briefly met Bailey, I think, at Morgan's show, one of them.
And I think he's just the guy in Nashville.
He's cool as hell.
And I had a new kind of sound I wanted to do.
And I think he's the one guy that can carry it.
And I came to his house.
I had a show.
I pulled up real quick.
He was about to leave on tour.
You're about to jump in your tour bus.
And we had like three hours, played the record for him.
We kind of like got a scratch.
And then he handled it on his own on the road.
Yeah, it was really cool.
He literally just like randomly showed up to my house.
I'm like, oh, hey, Diplo, what are you doing?
He's He's like, I have a song that I want to show you.
And I was like, okay.
And then now we're here playing it live.

Oh, hey, Joe, oh ocho the vibes surrounding lebron's situation with the lakers have not been the best per javon buja the vibes with the situation have not been the best i'll say so again i don't really want to go too much down that road but yeah i mean i thought there were times just looking at the huddle or looking at the bench that he wasn't engaged as he typically is when he's out
ocho uh joe joe let me take with you first Joe, what's going on?
Man, Braun, look focused over there, man.
Hey, look, he got that poker face over there.
You don't know what he got going on in their head.
You know what I mean?
Hey, he can't, he can't do nothing.
Man, battling sciatica, what y'all want from him, man?
They wanted to be jumping up and down to talk about, well, if he can do all that, he should be in the game.
You know, they're gonna say that.
Yeah, hey, I don't know if y'all know what that
sciatica is.
I know what it's like.
Man, listen, you get you won't even be able to run or bend over or do nothing with that sciatica.
It's not a thing.
Absolutely not.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You can't.
They say, well, they're not going to evaluate him for another two weeks yeah so they're planning mid-november so two weeks is is damn near is what the beginning of november so and then he's gonna have to ramp it up have to play and try to get you know get some uh on court conditioning damn
so he might miss what you think of joe the first 10 to 15 games easy easy easy but you know what looking at him over there uh he he do look like he's still in some shape now i know he working behind the scenes he ain't oh yeah for sure he ain't He's going to always be in shape.
He ain't coming back to be no average brawn.
Now,
he's going to come back and really get to it.
So
they definitely could have used him last night.
Yeah.
They can't play defense.
They can't, man.
They can't play defense.
I mean, you got, look, Luca tried, but Luca can't play no defense.
Austin Reeves really can't play no defense because Austin Reeves realized one thing, playing defense won't get me paid.
Putting ball in basket gets me 30 million.
Hell me 40 million.
And he's going to get a 200 million dollar deal.
Oh, yeah.
It's going to be, it's going to be, it should be a little easier for him that Braun ain't out there.
You know, I would figure him and Luca.
Obviously, we know Luca gonna be Luca, but
yeah, Luca had 43, 12, and 9.
But,
but look,
he a walking bucket.
Luca go, you can't stop him.
He can do it.
He can get mirror.
I mean, he can get to where he wants to go.
He got it.
He's going to play at his
pace.
You cannot speed him up.
He got a big body, he can play through contact.
That's his defense.
His try to try to try to wear you dive on the LB.
There you go.
His offense is gonna be his defense.
Hey, I don't know what y'all think this is, but yeah, his offense is what's gonna uh uh make him a hell of a player and what's gonna offset his defense for sure.
Job A rant tonight.
Oh, they won 122-128 over the Pelicans.
Ja, 35 points.
Uh,
A steal, three assists, three rebounds.
Jaron Jackson had 18.
Wells had 14.
Jacques Londale had 10.
They got Prosper came off the bench, gave him 10.
Coward gave him 14.
For the Pelicans, Herb Jones had 17.
Zion gave you 27.
Trey Murphy III
gave you 13.
Jordan Poole gave you 17.
I guess that's Sadiq Bay came off the bench and gave you 13.
And then Fears gave you 17.
Hey, but
when you look at this, man, y'all can say what you want.
But if Ja Moran can stay healthy, because I'm going to take y'all back to the playoffs, Arkan Ocho, they lost them first two games at OKC.
But the third game in Memphis, Memphis was up 30 points before Ja got hurt.
And they walked, and OKC walked that lead.
Walked him down.
They did.
So we don't know how the tables would have turned if that man would have stayed healthy.
He is electric, and I love watching him play.
I just want to see him stay healthy because he could potentially be in the MVP conversation, man.
He keep it up.
I know it's just first game, but he looked good out there, man, putting pressure on them boys.
Yeah.
Well, that's the thing.
I mean, look, we know what he is.
The thing is, because of his body type and because he plays above the rim, that damn court hard.
And he falls an awful lot.
Now, I know he wear a body.
I know he wear a pad suit yeah but that's still a damn i mean as much as much as he puts as much pressure as he puts on the defense yeah getting to the rim elevating
that's what he i mean with that frame possibility yeah yeah with that frame he's gonna be subject to injury yeah he'll he'll thin he'll thin framed individual yeah yeah i mean
you know him and ai got the same goddamn frame not the same skill set i'm just saying the same frame and they always hitting the flow yeah
he looked good though, man.
He, hey, look, we got to give Zion some credit too because when he out
and he healthy, 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists, five steals.
Um, when he playing now, that's what he's giving you.
We, we look, we ain't nobody ever questioned his ability,
we just question his availability, right?
Right.
That's the only thing.
That's the only thing we've ever had.
That's the only thing that we could ever question.
Yeah.
Should
he like be a better rebounder?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think he should average double-digit rebounds.
Yeah.
If Charles Barkley at 6'4 can average double-digit rebounds, Zion, you can too.
Because you're a more explosive, left-handed Charles Barkley.
I know he can.
That's what you are.
Now, Charles taught himself how to shoot, mid-range, shoot the three.
See, people just look at Charles, and all they see him is talking.
People don't realize
how good Charles Barkley was.
Harry was a dumb.
People don't realize.
Charles Barkley was hell.
Yeah, he led the league, he led the league and rebounded at six foot four, the smallest man ever to leave the league and rebounded, which is crazy.
But me, me, and Barkley's the same height.
Oh, yep, now that's crazy.
Hey, you know, I forgot to ask, we done went past it already, right?
Hey, Joe and Uncle, y'all ever had cicadas?
What is that?
Cicada is an insect, the 17-year cicadas.
No, you mean sciada.
Yeah.
What it's called?
Sciatic.
It's a sciatic.
Sciatica.
What I called it?
Cicadas.
Oh, my bad.
That's an MSIC.
I ain't never have it, Ocho, but
I got a partner who had it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And he played ball and he had to sit out a lot of time.
Damn.
Yeah.
It's like a sharp shooting pain from
like your glute, from your low back through your glute, all the way down to your foot, go down to your side to make your feet numb.
Yeah, it sometimes don't
I've heard, I've never seen it, I've heard people have it so bad they can't control body function.
What?
Yeah, yeah,
damn,
yeah,
yeah,
cicadia is an insect, yeah.
Make a bunch of noises.
I'm confused.
17-year-the 17-year cicadas, they come once every 17 years years in Cincinnati.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They caught me one year, but I don't know why I thought it just sounds the same.
It sounds similar.
So, my bad.
Yeah.
Yeah, I know what he meant.
I've been around him so long, so long.
I know exactly what he's talking about.
Just like when he said George Flintstone, I know he meant Fred.
He just got the two complete few between George Jensen and Fred Flintstone.
I knew exactly what he meant.
I messed it up.
Damn.
Yeah, i knew exactly what you meant yeah i did yeah
hey but this basketball season got me hyped boy yeah you know hey it's just like when you old people when your grandparents used to talk yeah
and you knew exactly what they were saying yeah even if i've just been around oh i know exactly
hey
basketball
uh Joe, oh Joe, the NBA will
return to painting the Larry O'Brien Bryan trophy at center court during the finals for Shams.
This will be the first finals with the lead with the large trophy painted on the court since 2009.
Why do they take it up?
I don't know.
I enjoy, especially playing, you know, when the playoffs come, you got the playoffs on the court.
Now, yes, regular game in the playoffs.
I don't like that, man.
Bring the playoffs back, put the playoffs back on the court.
Right.
Finals get here, put the big trophy out there.
That's what we want to experience, those iconic moments.
I'm glad they bringing it back, though.
I didn't notice it, I didn't notice it was gone.
Yeah, I did, I did.
Because, look, when I was watching the finals, like we was, it looked like a regular game, yeah.
Okay, come on, we ain't got no playoffs on the floor, the finals, or nothing.
Like, I'm used to seeing that.
So, also, so you want the trophy in the in the middle, in the middle, yes, where it used to be at center court for the finals, yeah, right, yeah, right, okay, okay, yeah, man, dress it up, give us the bells and whistles, man.
Come on, now,
I like it.
Hey, who y'all,
I know, I know it's early.
Who your favorite, Joe and Uncle to win the finals this year?
I ain't gonna lie to you.
Man, I don't know.
I don't know who's coming out of the East.
It could be the.
If you make me pick, I would probably say the Knicks or the Cavs.
Right.
Because I don't think Boston can get there without Tatum.
And I definitely don't think the
Pacers can get there without Halliburton.
And now Turner left and went to Milwaukee.
Who knows?
Maybe Milwaukee.
Maybe
they do have Giannis.
They do have uh
uh miles turner i don't know who the who the guards are but you
you know yannis yannis you know yannis is gonna give you 30 13 and 6.
damn uh miles turner should be able to give you 17 and 10.
i don't know
who you got coming out the west then i ain't gonna lie i i got okayc man
again yeah i'm gonna tell you why ocho when you watch them boys play man they don't play like everybody else.
They 94 feet.
As soon as that ball goes in the hoop, they pick you up full court and they weigh you down.
Kind of like similar.
I know the Rockets probably should have won that game yesterday, but I know the Rockets should have lost the regulation because KD called timeout and the referee didn't give it to us.
You're right.
But
I love how OKC play, man.
They just relentless.
Ocho,
on both ends, bro.
You know what I love about them?
Everybody knows their role.
Man, they look like nobody say hey nobody challenges shay come about man i'm just as good as shea i need me shots but they got they got six they got six guys legit guys
that can play defense right and they can rotate them they're never they're not going to be on the court at any point in time where they don't have at least three wing defenders right and when you look at it They look like a team who enjoy being around each other.
Can you tell?
Man, that chemistry and continuity that they have, like, oh, I agree.
1000.
It don't matter who gets the player of the game, the whole team standing there, listening to the interview, the post-game interview.
Like, I think for me, I think that's dope.
I love that.
It just looks like they really enjoy being around one another.
And I think with that alone, that's going to take them a long way, bro.
That's going to take a long way.
Tonight,
the Bucs win 133-120 over the
Washington Wizards.
Giannis,
37 37 points, 14 rebounds, five assists.
Miles Turner had 11 and 8.
Greg Trent Jr.
had 17.
Chris Porter Jr.
had
10.
Kevin Porter.
Kevin Porter.
Yeah, Kevin Porter had 10.
Green had 11.
Tayshawn Prince had 11.
And Kyle Kuzma had 12.
Okay, Kuzma.
There you go, boy.
Kuzma came off the bench.
Yeah.
Hey, Tayshawn Prince.
Torian Prince.
Torian Prince.
Oh.
Hey, listen.
You look at
Tayshawn your age, bro.
He ain't out there.
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, hey, look at Giannis, man.
Giannis just, oh, my God.
16 to 26.
Hey, 4-7 from the free throw line.
And he coming straight downhill, Joe.
Yep.
Ocho, the man's 6'11, man.
6'11, but he ain't no, like,
what he, what he is doing, you know, obviously before Wimby got into the league, right?
Never seen nothing like that.
And now that Wimby is in the league, now he's doing something that we've never seen.
But Giannis, man, he ain't gonna be denied now.
He ain't going out without no fight now.
Oh, yeah, that man going to come to play every night.
Hey,
excuse my lack of knowledge, right?
Go ahead.
But would it be...
Unfair or would it be fair to compare
a young Amari Stardemire
and the Greek freak, or is that?
Am I completely off?
They got two, they both ferocious when it comes to attacking the rim.
The rim, right?
But Giannis is more of a ball handler.
Yes.
Mari was more of a post of a finish.
Mari was looking, he stayed in the pick and roll.
Yeah, Mid, you got to realize he had two-time league MVP, Steve Nash.
Steve, one of the best pick and roll point guards to ever play.
So basically,
they were John Stockton and Carl Malone.
Yeah.
Hey, look, but before Nash got there, you know, he had Stefan Marberry and he won rookie of the year over Yao Meen.
Like, Amari was ahead of his time, bro.
Like, he was relentless, Ocho.
Yeah.
Like, like,
I don't think people give him a lot of credit, but the man came out of high school, bro, just with the attitude, like, it don't matter.
I'm going through you, not around you.
I'm going through you.
Right.
Like, that's my dog, bro.
Like,
he's one of the best that will play the game, especially at that position uh he was unguardable bro unguardable it is it's funny it's it's funny i saw amari stardomeyer play in high school he played in miami though they played miami northwestern at miami northwest and obviously i didn't know how any any idea who he was back then yeah obviously dominated right yeah and so i remember watching his game the little bit of basketball i watched back then and then seeing the greek freak play and all i can think about is damn amari stardomeyer going downhill
if you in the way I'm dunking over you.
You better park the red sea.
And why and watching the Greek freak, you in the way, I'm dunking over you.
You damn.
And
yeah, hey, Lake Wells, Lake Wells, Florida.
That's all he used to holler.
Lake Wells, Florida.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, that's my guy, man.
But yeah, hey, boy, you see him coming down through the lane, Ocho.
You better park the Red C, man.
You know, he, hey, hey, he's coming with bad intentions.
Bad every time.
You already know it.
You already.
But yeah, him and Greek freak, when it comes to finishing and attacking that rim,
same, bro.
Like, relentless.
They don't care who down there.
Yeah, remind me of myself, Joe.
Oh, here we go.
That's how you used to do it.
Yeah, you know, when I used to, at the junior high school, you know, I used to play on a 10-foot rim.
Okay, what happened?
I mean, I used to look like the Greek freak or like a Marius Stardemeyer.
No, you ain't looking.
You ain't looking like that, hell, Joe.
I'm saying I was a little heavy set.
I was a little heavyset back then, back in 87.
Nah, nah, nah.
Now we ain't, we ain't going.
We ain't going.
I got to hold you accountable, Ocho.
You got to stop this, for real.
Hey, hey, Joe, ask about me, man.
I went Alipato Jr.
High.
Alipala Jr.
High.
Ask him how it was on them courts, boy.
You were getting down.
Yeah, a little something.
The man.
Yeah, yeah, I would look something.
How many sports you played?
How many sports you played in school, Ocho?
Soccer, baseball, basketball.
You did this in high school.
You did all that in high school?
yeah boy
yeah what did he do oh joe i mean oh joke he said he played soccer baseball basketball and football in high school i don't know where the man lying but if i had to
you know the seasons overlap
huh
football and basketball they overlap bro oh no i was like i was like deon like dion played for the braves and the falcons that's how i was in high school man we would have heard about that we you don't think we would have heard about that?
I mean, goddamn, Joe.
I went to goddamn high school in the 80s.
How are you gonna hear about that?
You ain't went to no high school in no damn 80s.
Yeah, they know.
You know, I went to the high, I graduated high school in the 80s.
What's wrong with this man?
But yeah, I look, like I said,
I didn't even notice that they had taken the
logo, the Larry O'Brien trophy off the center.
Um,
but yeah, they should.
I don't know why they took it away.
I, I, maybe if it were people slipping on it or something, I don't know.
I mean, you know what?
I think, I think, what is it, like the decal or something?
I think it probably is a little slick.
Yeah.
Uh,
man, they with the technology they got now.
Come on now.
Oh, yeah, they can fix that.
They can fix that.
Yeah.
Candice Parker says that innovation she'd like to see in NBA coverage would be replicate how analysts cover schemes at the high technical level.
I'm a big football fan.
I feel like I learned a lot from Blitz coverage and dropped two and different sequences.
I never saw until they started showing it
with technology.
I think sometimes as players, we see things, but expect fans to see the game the same way.
But to be able to kind of like hint to fans that what were coming, I think that would be magical.
Yes.
Because we see the game, that's the thing.
We're fans, but we're analysts.
So we're analyzing the game.
I'm not interested in that a team scored, I want to know how they scored, right?
I want to know how they beat the defense.
I want to know what coverage they were in, Ocho.
Yeah, so I need to know: were you in cover four?
Were you in cover five?
Were you in cover six?
Was it six kicks?
Was it seven?
Was it quarters?
That's what I'm interested in.
Okay, Ocho, what were you?
What y'all in?
A three by one?
Was it an empty set?
Yeah.
Was it
11 personnel?
Was it 12 personnel?
Was it 21 personnel?
Was it?
i don't know
fans say they want that but they don't no i don't think so they don't i don't i don't think so you would you would have to really love like really really love the game yeah it would take it would take away from being a fan right yes that part would take away from actually being a fan that is too much and it could be confusing unless you're really interested and dedicated and devoted to knowing what's actually going on outside of the game itself.
Me,
I'm a fan, so I had to know.
So I know when they talk about when you hear LeBron say the nail, I was like, okay, so what the hell is the nail?
Yeah.
Oh, oh, okay.
So that's where it's hard to bring the double from the nail because he's between the free throw line and dropping the key inside the key.
It's hard to bring the double when you're that high out.
Okay, the dunker spot.
Okay, you want to pin down, you want to flare.
Oh, okay.
I feel pretty good.
I feel like I'm breaking that thing down like I'm DB.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But that's because I want to know what, I want to know why.
I'm look, I don't care.
Yeah, it's nice to see the three and all that other stuff, but I need to know why.
How that got so wide open?
Who blew that?
Because we're more than a casual fan.
So when we watch the game,
a different perspective.
We're analyzing it.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yes.
Were you supposed to, bro?
Trap that.
Were you supposed to hedge?
Were you supposed to go under?
Were you supposed to go over?
Yeah,
yeah.
So, that's that's how I'm looking at it.
And I get what Candace is saying, but Candace,
I really don't know.
There are probably a few fans, yeah, but the more fans man, I don't care nothing about that.
My team scored, damn, I don't care how they scored or why they scored, they scored.
And all I know is we got the lead.
Yep, you're right.
So, you know, everybody ain't gonna want to go that in-depth.
No, but there will be a few, there'll be a few, yeah.
Uh,
oh Joe, Iso, it's time to play uh uh play or fade presented by prize picks.
Animation, please.
Y'all, uh, the staff has run two in a row.
Canvas or holidays?
One, zero.
Oh, I was $75.
Yeah, but you didn't win the whole Lanchelada.
Oh, no.
I didn't win the whole Langelado.
I'm going to win them today, though.
I'm going to win today.
I'm going to win tomorrow, though.
All right.
Carson Wentz, more than 225.5 passing yards.
Joe, you think he's going to pay?
They play the Cardinal.
They play the Chargers, right?
What he had last week?
Carson Wentz had like 300.
But he had like two picks.
And who they playing this week?
They play the Chargers.
Where's this game?
In LA or Minnesota?
Where is that?
It's a home game.
I should look it up.
Damn, you think he's going to?
Well, he got some weapons over there, but I don't.
Oh, yeah.
Naylor, they got.
You said 275?
Yeah, 225.
He's gonna do that.
You think so?
Yeah, absolutely.
Too many weapons with Jefferson, Addison, Naylor, Hawkinson, and Hawkinson, definitely.
Justin Jefferson, more than 0.5 rushing or receiving touchdowns.
That means will he have at least one touchdown tomorrow?
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Okay, so we go one touchdown.
Kamadi Vidal, less than 55.5 yards rushing.
Who the hell did he play for?
Chargers.
Oh, their rookie got hurt, didn't he?
And what you call him got hurt too?
This is the third or fourth battle.
Did he play last week?
Chargers really got no running game.
Both of the tackles beat up.
I'm going to go less.
Lad McConkie, just your guy, Ocho.
Lad McConkie.
86.5 receiving yards.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Ladarius McConkey might have, might have
90 to 100.
Ain't nobody stopping Ladarius McConkey.
Vikings are good against the Rush, though.
They held down Saquon.
Lad McConkey, will he have 57 yards, Joe?
Yeah, I'll say we'll.
Ocho vouch for him.
I'm going to say he will.
Hey, hey, Ladarius, the real deal, bro.
His name's not Ladder.
It's Ladarius.
All right.
We're going more.
So we're going more than 225.5.
We're going more than 0.5 touchdowns.
We're going less than 50
56 yards rushing, and we're going more than 57 yards passing.

Let me get on here and check.
All right, guys, it's time for our final segment of the evening.
It's time for Q.
A
Kipper Norwood Jr.
up Ocho, my question.
How far do you see the Lakers going play in?
Play in or playoffs?
What are you thinking, Joe?
I think they'll make the playoffs.
Ocho?
First round exit?
Damn.
Yeah, I think they'll make that.
I think I ain't going to say for sure, but I do think they'll make the playoffs.
Yeah, I think they'll make the playoffs also.
Playoffs.
Dr.
dr frankie l bellamy
welcome back joe what did you miss the most unc speeches or ocho's contagious laugh uh all of it man i all of it ocho lying is
hold on joe listen hey hey what i lie about joe hey listen anything just because i ain't on here with y'all almost every night don't mean i ain't listening all right i'm listening i'm watching and ocho

Listen, hey, Joe, anything I talk about, Joe, honestly,
I'm gonna be truthful with you.
Anything I talk about on here, I know it might seem fabricated, it might seem like a lie, but these are life experiences that I've been through.
Somebody's life experiences, not yours.
Promise you.
You're right.
There are life experiences.
This boy here, man.
Ah, Joe, the raptors put something on your hogs.
All right now.
Man, that dropped 45 in the third, Joe.
Hey,
I thought we were doing QA, about to get up out of there.
But listen, hey.
Yeah, what happened to your hogs?
You know what?
And that was a home game for us, too, man.
It was.
I don't know.
It's probably because I wasn't there at the game room for him.
If you were when we keep it 100, would you might need to be out there playing for him?
It don't look like we played no defense.
Get up 138 points at home.
73 in the second half, Joe.
God damn.
I don't know what happened, man.
We got to get together.
We got to get together.
First game.
Hey,
when we go to a game, I'm from the heck with them boys.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, Ocho, but I'm going to tell you about this Miami Heat and Orlando.
We won.
What play?
What'd y'all win?
What the score was?
But y'all lost by four.
It was 120.
What was the score?
121 to 125.
Orlando.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, hi, how
Bampero.
How you say his last name?
Ben Carroll.
Yeah.
Yeah, how you play.
Ben Carroll.
Oh, Ben Carroll, nice.
He had 20 Varns Wagner.
He had 24 and 11.
Varns Wagner had 24.
Oh, yeah, they good.
They're not playing.
Bangs had 23.
First game over there with the Magic.
Subs.
Sugs.
How many Sugs have?
He had 14, but he was six for seven from the field.
He was facilitating and doing what he do.
Yeah.
See?
Orlando's going to be tough.
I like it.
Ricky said Wimby putting the league on notice tonight.
He's back making Cooper Flag look like some barbecue chicken.
No, look, we saw Wimby his rookie season.
I mean, look, the guy's 12 foot tall.
I mean, he can shoot it.
I mean, look, he could.
I mean, I've seen people have a two-on-one fast break and pull it out.
Say, nah, I ain't messing with you.
I ain't messing with Wimby.
But they know he's going to throw it up out of there.
Ocho.
Yeah.
It's six and a half minutes left.
This man got 38 and 13.
Yeah.
I'm looking at him.
I'm looking at him now.
He ain't playing.
oh he liked when oh he for real and he got 37 he 30 because we're not used to we're not used to seeing somebody that look kd when you see a guy kd height so just imagine somebody five six inches taller than kd right that can handle the ball shoot the three put the ball on the floor get to the rim and
you ain't getting nothing to hear hey i wouldn't be surprised if he said the nba record for block shots me yeah i think mark i think either mark eaten or bold Manute Bowl has the record for the most.
I think it's
got five blocks a game.
Was it Mark Eaton or Manut Bowl?
Man, they say the man done grew two inches.
That's what I'm saying.
So if Kevin Durant, 6'11, 7',
he's 7'5, 7'6 and a half.
Oh, my God.
Normally, seven guys that tall, Joe.
We look at Manute Bowl, George Murray'son, Branley.
They're not handling the ball like that.
Nah.
Yeah.
Hey, he,
he's 7, 6, 7, whatever it is.
Yeah, he's 7, 5.5, 7, 6.
Hey, he's twitchy with it, though.
Yeah.
Yes.
Man, hey, hey, San Antonio is going to be scary because he got some dogs around him.
Them young boys he got that's playing around him.
They can go.
With it, Mark Eaton or Manu Bo.
I think somebody had like five blocks a season after five blocks a game.
Man, San Antonio, hey, look.
Yeah, I don't keep talking.
We're talking about OKC,
but boy, look, San Antonio ain't playing.
They're putting it on, man.
They up.
Mark Eaton.
Ojo.
110.
82.
Yeah, Mark Eaton averaged
four and a half blocks a game.
I can see Wimby do it.
I can see Wimby.
The guy that's most likely to get to get a quadruple double is Wimby.
And he's going to do it with block shots.
I mean, like Kim Elijah did his with block shots.
Normally have rebounds, assists, steals.
I mean, he's going to do it with block shots.
Hey, hey, hey, he looked like he ain't come to play no games with these boys today.
He had 40 and 15.
Okay, Ocho.
Yeah.
This man.
Oh, he's going to be.
Oh, he don't.
Yeah.
This man.
He's lost like women tonight.
Lord, have mercy.
Yes.
Lord, have mercy.
T.S.
Car wash and detail.
Is the Clippers a top five team in the West?
Who can win it all?
Not the Clippers.
Look, look, they lost tonight.
Look, T.
Lou.
is too good of a coach.
They'll figure this out.
Kawhi.
Ooh, Kawhi didn't play well tonight.
Three of nine, one of five from the three, he had 10 points, minus 25.
Nobody really played well.
Bradley Bill had five.
James Harden had 15.
James had 15 and 11.
Two rebounds.
Zubox had 19 and 7.
Derrick Jones Jr.
had 12.
John Collins had 14.
Brooke Lopez had 15.
I wonder.
I wonder why Kawhi only took nine shots though.
They ain't, they like, but I expect him, I expect Kawhi to be at least 18 temps, 20 attempts, Uncle Ocho.
I expect him to be aggressive.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But if you go back and look at it, nobody really took a whole, I mean, John Collins and Brooke Lopez had as many shots as James Harden.
Zubatz had the most.
He was nine of 13.
But this, hold on.
Utah scored.
Oh, yeah, this game was over.
Utah scored 43 in the first, 35 in the second so they had 78 and they had uh they were up 78 to 47.
and damn now you see why he only at the damn altitude and got to them uh clippers and playing
hey look y'all now i played in utah for two years i know it's like it's it's almost like it's like playing in denver yes it is
it is man listen
nikki grant says i'm single two steps past 40, well employed, no kids.
I'm enjoying minding my business and
enjoying my mortgage.
According to Chad, I'm screwed.
According to,
well,
shoot.
Man, 40?
I mean, Nikki.
It ain't too late.
It ain't too late.
You ain't screwed, Nikki.
All right.
Yeah, you ain't screwed, Nikki.
He out there.
What kind of car we got, Nikki?
Yeah, he out there.
I mean, you got a Mercedes because you know Mercedes, you put a lot of bows on a Mercedes now.
Nah, look,
there's somebody out there for everybody.
Yeah, that's, that's what they say.
Yeah.
And you know, you know, women love to say, don't settle.
But see, it's different, folks.
See, Ocho, a guy will make, a guy looking to make money.
so he can provide women a lot of women are looking to make money so they can become independent see they done got them fooled.
You don't need no man.
And the first time something, hey, can you do this?
No, you don't need no man.
Call somebody else to move you or change your tie or change your oil or take you to get something.
It all depends.
Look,
what you, is that what you want?
You want, if you want somebody, settle.
I don't think settle is the right word.
I think the thing is, is that everybody is trying to find the perfect everything.
You hear me?
He makes, oh, joe he makes 500 to 10 million dollars he's highly educated he likes to travel he doesn't have any kids even if they do
uh that that's that's a movie you that's that's a movie you're talking about right there
that's that's a that's a fairy tale ending
everybody everybody everybody wants to hear about the fairy tale ending in that what it in that the end yeah
happily ever after Yeah, in the movies.
Yes.
It was fiction.
In those fiction.
In the movies.
So.
Hey, Nikki, I got somebody for you, Nikki.
Nikki, you good.
You good?
I got somebody for you, though.
Wizard P, is it time to stop sugarcoating these quarterbacks that are past their prime?
It's time to retire, to hit for him to retire.
And he's been washed for three to four years.
Who?
Who?
Yeah, who are you talking about?
You got to give him some names, Wizard P.
Because
all the old quarterbacks in the NFL, they're playing real well.
They're playing good, real good.
Rogers is playing tremendous.
Joe Flacco had an outstanding game
the other night.
He's going to have another outstanding one again against these goddamn Jets on Sunday.
Was he
who's offensive AFC offensive player of the week this week?
Was it Flacco?
I think it might have been Uno.
How it's going to be Uno if Joe Flacco was throwing the ball.
That boy had how many catches he had.
Ocho, it was chased 16.
Oh, yeah, Jamar and Seaback.
Yeah, I told you.
Oh, well, we know Michael won a defensive player of the year for the NFC.
Well, yeah, three sacks, yeah, yep.
Boy one playing getting around their edge, boy.
He closed the game out, Michael, and then AFC is
the picture itself.
Okay,
uh,
Let Ocho tell it.
He could have won the U.S.
Open and ran 9-6 in the 100.
I mean, hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Now, listen, for those that do follow me, Joe, you see my tennis skills.
I haven't.
Don't be
under seen my tennis skills.
And listen, it's well documented, especially if anybody in the chat in Miami, they know in the 100, in high school, as a freshman, I ran 9-8.
I ran 9-8, so I ain't too far for 9-6.
And I wasn't even a track runner.
I was a
nice, and that's the 90-yard dash.
No, no, no, for real.
Yeah, this is before I got hurt.
First of all, if you ran 9-8 in the 100 meters, ain't no way in hell, you running 4-6.
Who?
No, I ran 4-6.
I fell.
I fell on my chest and got up and still ran 4-6.
Come on, okay.
Come on, Ocho.
Hey, he meant he played pickleball, Joe.
Yeah.
They say, got it, you know, pickleball.
He's good at that.
Ocho, I'm going to be back on that pickleball court.
Give me, give me a couple more points.
Don't do that.
Joe, don't do that.
Don't do that.
Hey, listen, hold up.
I'm telling you, Ocho, I'm trying to team up with you.
Oh, you try.
Oh,
I'm going to team up with you.
Hey, hey, come to the winning side, Joe.
Come to the winning side.
I like that.
I like that.
Yeah.
I'm ready.
Yeah, man.
We get some people with some doubles or something.
Yeah, I like it.
97.
Sup, fellas.
Start, Trey, cut shaq tim duncan elijah one oh
i said it i'm gonna stick by it tim duncan is underappreciated yeah he is but you don't want to get look because he ain't have no flashy game he couldn't fly through the air he didn't shoot no threes he didn't have no he didn't have no funny sound bites
All he did,
everybody, you know what, that played in his era.
Mr.
Fundamentals.
I played played against him in two playoff series that boy won nothing nice
hey yeah and
what three finals mvps he won five three finals mvps a two-time mvp he probably should have won a defensive player of the year award but he didn't because he was like a 15 time or 13 14 15 time all defensive he's like 13 14 time all nba yeah and he's putting up these numbers with shaq
now him and shaq going head to head that was a matchup.
It was.
They did.
They had some great ones, boy.
Yeah.
And then Shaq also played in the era with Elijah.
Yeah.
Elijah got the best of them in that finals.
That was a young Shaq.
Yeah.
Elijah got the best of a lot of people.
Ain't a whole lot of people can do anything with you, Madrid.
Hey, look,
so quick.
I had a quick little stint with Houston.
This was, it had to be 2000, what, 18, 19?
This is when James Harden was averaging like
what boy, 35?
Yeah, 35, something like that.
But we used to play three on three every day, Uncle Ocho.
Yeah.
And me and Dream used to be on the same team every day, bro.
He used to play three on three with us every day.
Man, listen, some of the coolest stuff I've ever been a part of, bro.
I used to look forward to that.
Dream got day.
Dream still got some nice, some nice game for you down there.
Yeah.
You see over there teaching Wimby and all them boys how to, oh, yeah.
Yeah.
That dream shake.
Ooh.
and the thing was, he played both ends, yes, sir.
I know he really, really played both ends, yeah,
yeah, he was a hell of a shot blocker.
So, we're gonna.
If so, prime shape, prime dunk, and prime Elijah one.
I can't cut none of them.
Somebody just got to cut.
Hey,
somebody got to come off the bench.
You'll be a fool to cut any of them.
Hey,
that's unrealistic, man.
You can't cut neither.
It's tough, bro.
Because, man, listen.
I would probably
prime shack
may not like prime shack.
Nothing you can do with him.
Nothing.
At all.
Nothing.
I would go prime shack.
You're going to have to cut Duncan, ain't you?
Tell the truth.
You're keeping 100.
You can keep it 100.
It's okay.
Damn.
Oh, so I got to, hold on.
You know what?
And I got to trade.
No, somebody going to the bench.
Somebody got to go to the bench.
I ain't to get another deal.
Cause they're going to come back and hunt me.
Oh, boy.
If you trade Elijah, he's going to come back and give you 40, 15 with 10 blocks.
Duncan going to give you 20, 20, and 8.
Shaq going to give you 40, 15, and gonna pull the backboard down on your head.
Pull the screws out of that thing.
You hear me?
Chad, what should we do, chat?
I'm gonna start Shaq and Duncan Elijah one got to come off the bench.
Man, thought FG said, I sold mission, brother.
I know this is NBA episode, but them cowboys finna get whipped Sunday, Bronco Country.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, what we got on it, baby.
Make a lot of yourself, Joe.
Oh, and we
make a lot of yourself, Joe.
Hey, and
I know we, I know we playing in Denver, but hold on, let me, let's, let's break something down real quick.
I don't want you on you and Ocho to have amnesia on here because you already, you still down at dinner.
Me and you, but we're gonna handle that.
For what, dinner?
Come on now.
Come on, Uncle.
Let's play this.
As, hey, ass.
You know what, Joe?
Joe, be talking about, oh, Ocho, you owe me like, you owe me like seven game and the series with one 4-3.
Hey, Ocho, but you is in the hole, though.
We can laugh about it, but you, you, I still ain't got to pay, man.
Interest, interest, interest.
Hold on.
It's all up.
I'm talking about me.
I'm talking about you.
Cause me and you, we better.
On you $100.
But I'm saying it's interesting that.
Ocho, you've been on me.
The season has started back, man.
That was the final.
Hey, Ash and Jordan, we got to pull that up and let Unc know why he in the hole.
It's okay, man.
It's okay.
Hey, I ain't holding it against you.
I'm just reminding y'all because you know, if I don't remind y'all, then you, you know, you, you know, you let somebody hold on for something too long, they're going to really think it's there.
Yeah, for sure.
Hey, $100?
Yeah, man, got to add a little interest to it.
Oh, you're the seasoner started back.
Like, we done started back.
Man, we done had two seasons.

What you trying to do?
Hey, hey, not really.
Honestly, honestly, you know what?
I'm one of the few jerseys.

l pray can you tell the story about when your grandfather stood up against this brother that caused your uncle not to show up for his my grandfather's funeral for his my funeral uh my he my uncle was thumping me on the head and uh my grandfather would always tell us he didn't like nobody being thumped on the head so you make him thick-headed and he won't be able to learn
i don't think you may you know how them old people got sayings And so he thumped me.
And we were sitting on the porch and my grandfather, the bedroom was right there.
And I thumped him.
And no, he thumped me.
And I said, oh,
stop thumping me.
And my grandfather, my grandfather's room, and he heard it.
So I could hear my grandfather putting his coveralls on.
That's what they call overalls, coveralls.
Yeah.
And he came, he said, if you thump that boy one more time on his head, I'm going to kill you.
My uncle got in his car and never saw him again.
Even when my grandfather died, he came to the church, but he didn't come inside.
Wow.
My grandfather, worry, if he told you something, Ocho, set your clock by it.
If he told you something, he meant that.
He meant exactly that.
He meant exactly that.
He didn't play all that kiki kid and all that joking.
He didn't, he didn't, he didn't play that.
Yeah.
And that's, I guess that's kind of how I am.
But, you know, I kind of like a little bit more, but
too much of that playing.
He was a firm believer that grown men shouldn't play.
He was a firm believer that.
All that joking and key, kiki and saying stuff like that.
Yeah.
I told you, man, made a joke.
My grandfather had his teeth on the dash.
We going fishing.
Got some gas.
man say mr barney you better catch your teeth before they run away

He didn't learn his lesson.
Come back about a month later.
We going fishing.
Yeah.
Mr.
Barty, don't catch them all.
You know, GD will, I can't catch all them damn fish.
Man,
Barty Porter didn't play like that.
You know what?
I wish somebody, you know what, because y'all be thinking I'd be lying, but I want y'all to catch my brother.
Y'all ask my brother, say, man, I heard your brother on Nightcap say his
