Speaker 2 Keon, what do you do?
Speaker 2 How y'all doing? What's up, boy? Where you at, baby?
Speaker 2 What's that? I'm in Texas already. Hey, listen, I'm going to be there tomorrow, man.
Speaker 2 We're going to slide. We're going to slide
Speaker 2 the, whatchamacallit?
Speaker 2 Wait, you in Dallas or Houston?
Speaker 2 i'm in house what hey what
Speaker 2 you in houston boy what you doing out there you good you you're not married are you
Speaker 2 nah nah you good none of that you're good you got you gonna put some pictures on the wall anytime soon
Speaker 2 yeah this is just this is just a room for man this is just a room this office
Speaker 2 i mean you know they hang pictures on the office in the office
Speaker 2 not yet I need some more, I need some little pictures of like the other end zone, you know, something crazy.
Speaker 2 Okay, you come out obviously you know
Speaker 2 second round draft pick your rookie season what can you take from this season and how do you build on that going into season number two
Speaker 2 uh really just stay hungry i think that's really the thing i came with you know come out of the season with stay hungry uh unfortunately injuries and stuff like that so just continue to take care of your body And then, you know, the on-the-field stuff, you know, just continue to be where you're supposed to be at.
Speaker 2
And, you know, the play is going to happen. You know, the playmaker is going to make the plays, you know.
So all that's going to fall in line. Just continue to work harder.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 Hey, listen, you had, you had a good rookie season, 29 catches, 556 yards, four TDs.
Speaker 2 It was a good showing. How's your confidence going in year two? And what do you think the difference is from playing in college and the transition into the NFL? Was it difficult?
Speaker 2 Most of the time for players, there's a learning curve. Normally, you don't arrive, as we call it, till year three.
Speaker 2 What do you think you need to improve on going into year two?
Speaker 2 So the game slows down for you. When the game slows down for you, that's when you know you arrived.
Speaker 2 So for one, the confidence, confidence is always
Speaker 2
standing at a thousand at this point. So I'm real confident going into the next season.
My connection with Josh and all that, let's continue to trend in the right direction.
Speaker 2 So confident real high, been getting
Speaker 2 after this off-season training and stuff. But the biggest difference, college to the NFL, just got to be more technically sound, bro.
Speaker 2
Everybody's, you know, that much better, you know, and what makes it even worse, the D-line, that much faster. So that's all it is.
They get back there faster, the ball is going to come out faster.
Speaker 2 And then understanding that you're not always playing against a guy across from you. You're really playing a guy that's got that head so they don't call it a defensive play.
Speaker 2 So you're really playing against the DC.
Speaker 2 So understanding their tendencies and what they like to do, what they like to take away from certain guys,
Speaker 2 that's really, you know, who you really be going against. So once you master that then you know you'd be all right i like
Speaker 2 there's a report that came out that some team i mean you don't have to name the team if you don't want to got upset with you from eating fruit snacks in the meeting can you elaborate what what was said and what made you feel like they got upset with you for eating fruit snacks
Speaker 2 I mean, if they wouldn't have, if they would have, the fact that they even mentioned it, it was like, it was like, you know, because it was like a, it was a certain look, man.
Speaker 2 You know that look when you're in the meetings full of
Speaker 2 people.
Speaker 2 And it's just one of those looks and then after they're just like well i think they stopped the meeting was like you know just please you know just wait till afterwards to eat the snacks i'm like you know i ain't really tripping you could have waited till after to say that you ain't got to interrupt the meeting for that you feel me but i'm like cool like you know how you get all them uh them formal meetings at the at the county i had like 15
Speaker 2 one day this is like number 15. yeah it was all great business but i was
Speaker 2 awful bro i ain't gonna name the team though it ain't that serious you went viral for a lot of your comments that you made during the draft process at the Combine.
Speaker 2 Were you surprised by how much attention
Speaker 2 your answers or the questions that were being asked? Are you surprised at how viral those moments went?
Speaker 2 I mean, with social media nowadays, bro, everybody comes just looking for a clip or something that's just different. And it's rare guys just be theirself.
Speaker 2 you know in those type of situations they're more intense or you know get a robot answers i'm just me bro stuff just is just gonna be said it's just i'm gonna be myself 100 of the time and you know i mean they didn't blow up but i mean i couldn't say i didn't expect it it kind of just happened you know it ain't like i was planning for it it just kind of was conversation here and there and i give you my response and what i think i should say and you just go from there i think that's what that's why so many fans include myself i talked about it too about some of the things that you say the way you carry yourself you you authentic you organic you you're not you're not politically correct you're not a robot which most of the time the nfl wants you to be.
Speaker 2 Obviously, you understand there's a fine line you don't want to cross, but you're able to be yourself.
Speaker 2 And what makes it good for you, why I know you're going to be a superstar, because when you have that organic mentality and you're authentic the way you are and real, and a lot of people can relate to you, and you can play on the field as well, that takes you to a whole different level.
Speaker 2 So you got that it factor that you can't even teach. So you ahead of the curve anyway.
Speaker 2 So my next thing I want to ask you is how do you approach, how did you approach learning the the playbook as a rookie? Because I'm thinking about my rookie year when I got to Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 Boy, I struggled, boy. I struggled and I really couldn't touch the field the way I wanted to.
Speaker 2 How did that go for you,
Speaker 2 your rookie year?
Speaker 2 I mean, it wasn't, it wasn't like, it wasn't, I wouldn't say it was hard for me.
Speaker 2 Like the plays, the playbook, the formulations, none of that really was hard. It made even more sense from the college playbook.
Speaker 2
You know, I played in a pro-style system at Michigan State, then got to Florida State. It was a number system.
So just a combination of both and putting myself to the task.
Speaker 2 And if I got to Florida State to learn it that fast, it helped because I got two different systems to combine and learn this one system. So it was, it was
Speaker 2 yeah, it wasn't that simple for me, Keon. I ain't going to lie to you.
Speaker 2 Because the number system, like most people learn the number system, 2468 is to your right.
Speaker 2
135 is to the left. Well, Tom Landry, it was a defensive coordinator.
So when he got to be a head coach and he started started calling plays, it was reversed. So 135 is to your right.
Speaker 2
2468 is to your left. So I hear something with an odd, with an even number.
I'm all ass to the right. I got this one.
Hey, hey, Sean, where you going? Nah. Sean, where you going?
Speaker 2 2468 is to the right. Ah, damn.
Speaker 2 So I stayed.
Speaker 2 Yeah, it was tough. But I'm glad you was able to pick up because as Ocho said earlier, the quicker you can pick it up, the quicker you can let your ability take over, and you're not thinking.
Speaker 2 Oh, yeah, and you're like, damn, am I running the right route? And you're going because you want to, like you said, everything is fed up if you
Speaker 2 hesitate, you beat in this league because everybody's good.
Speaker 2 Yeah,
Speaker 2 yeah, let me ask you this: how did you get used to playing into the cold? Because look, you got cold at Michigan, but Buffalo is a different animal.
Speaker 2 I mean, they'll dump
Speaker 2 three feet, four feet of snow on you overnight.
Speaker 2 I mean,
Speaker 2 once it's below like 32, it's
Speaker 2 technically
Speaker 2 cold. It's cold, but you just gotta, you gotta, you know, you got your own little thing there.
Speaker 2 Yeah, like, you should be more excited for the game than you is to think about the cold.
Speaker 2 Because it'd be cold all week.
Speaker 2 So, like, the game come, you know, you might not always practice in the cold, but it's like, but you can make it a few hours in the cold.
Speaker 2 Like, this is this is your profession, like, but if you go, you go through a little routine, my best advice, I take a shower before even hot games. But them cold games, take you a shower.
Speaker 2
If you're a Vaseline guy, Vaseline, that body down, close them pores. If you're a tiger bomb guy, whatever you use, use that.
Once you hop out of that shower, them pores open,
Speaker 2 use that Vaseline, get right, get your feet, get your hands and your feet. That's the main thing.
Speaker 2 Them feet get cold. Yeah,
Speaker 2 you gotta keep them toes warm
Speaker 2 and your fingertips.
Speaker 2 once them two get cold them fingers get cold you gotta catch them like this
Speaker 2 you'll be trying to get out of your pocket
Speaker 2 it'll show the pads already brick like this cold is frozen yeah dick but now you gotta hold that baby you gotta hold that baby you gotta hold that baby keon
Speaker 2 you don't think
Speaker 2 but the cold really fun though because nobody on the defensive side really be trying to trying to hit because it hurt
Speaker 2 it hurt they just trying to push you out of thumbs and stuff so you can catch it you just be off to the rest hey listen i i know you're not a scout. I know you're not a GM.
Speaker 2 I know you're not in the front office.
Speaker 2 You were a rookie last year.
Speaker 2 But based on how well you guys played offensively, obviously having Josh Allen, and you know your defense, if you were a GM, if you were in the Bills front office in the war room draft day, what do you think your team needs to improve, if any area needs improving?
Speaker 2
I think there's always room for improvement. Yeah, always.
But
Speaker 2 we did deal with
Speaker 2 quite a bit of injuries, injuries you know but on the defensive side of the ball i'll go d line
Speaker 2 and a corner okay and probably look for another guy at safety that can play that higher bitch safety position so up and up and the up and down in the box and
Speaker 2 okay yeah
Speaker 2 i'll go i'll go d line anywhere on that d line i'll go one or two d linemen uh give me a corner Actually, I get two corners. You always need
Speaker 2
to dig after that. So I'll give me two corners.
And then
Speaker 2 I'll go give me another receiver that can play different positions out there. Well, what do you think? I saw reports, and it might be possible.
Speaker 2 I'm not sure if it's true or not, but maybe Stefan Diggs reuniting, coming back to Buffalo?
Speaker 2 I don't know.
Speaker 2 My air don't be in that, though. I don't know about that.
Speaker 2 If he come back, I'll be happy to have him. As there's another guy in the room to learn.
Speaker 2 Listen, listen, for me, from the outside looking in, adding another weapon like Stefan that knows the offense, that knows Josh Allen.
Speaker 2 Most of the pressure wouldn't be on him just being there to contribute in a way, obviously being a veteran presence, you know, for some of the young guys, I think it would be a good look, you know, for you guys.
Speaker 2 So,
Speaker 2 and hell, I mean, damn,
Speaker 2 I like it. I like it.
Speaker 2 And you don't mind either. Like I said, I don't know.
Speaker 2
I'm being that one, though. I don't, I don't be hearing that about that.
Let me ask you this. You have Josh Allen.
What's it been like?
Speaker 2
Because you go to a team and you got one of the better quarterbacks in the National Football League. It ain't no, oh, man, I don't know, I sure hope we can win today.
You got this guy.
Speaker 2
There's an expectation to win. There's not a hope.
You don't hope to win. Sometimes you have quarterbacks, man, if the defense can hold them to 17, if we can get a couple of big play,
Speaker 2
create turnovers in special teams, we can win. You go out there every week with 17 as your quarterback, expecting to win.
What does it mean like playing and having 17 calling plays in the huddle?
Speaker 2
I mean, it's real fun. You know, we have a lot of fun.
Even throughout the game, we be joking around. You know, it's a place where we all can be loose and still be professional and get our job done.
Speaker 2 But with him back there, bro, it's like it's a blessing. I say it's a blessing to be able to be blessed with a quarterback that has talent as a rookie, as a younger guy.
Speaker 2 Most guys come in and be great, but struggle because the quarterback is not up the par. But my quarterback demands greatness and he demands you to be who you need to be.
Speaker 2
And that ball will come on down. And even if you ain't expecting it, it's still that.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 It's always going to be a catchable ball. It's not easy playing with a guy like that because you have to stay active.
Speaker 2 You might think he's going to be on one side and like, damn, how you get way over there? And that ball's coming out. It's like, it's not easy.
Speaker 2 He ain't got time to say, damn, run.
Speaker 2 Take off.
Speaker 2 Take off.
Speaker 2
Hey, when you hit a crowd, go, wow, you start looking, find it. You got to take off.
You better go meet him on the other side of the film. You want that rock.
Speaker 2 That got to be an awesome feeling being able to play with somebody that's elite one one of the best in the game listen probably to probably top three top four in the nfl that can extend plays and play off script so regardless of when the play breaks down you still know you have an opportunity to get a ball that that has to be a great thing i got one i got one question that really had nothing to do with football i think if i'm not mistaken buffalo is known for its wings yes
Speaker 2 Yeah, they got some problems.
Speaker 2 If there was a wing spot, I know you've only been there a year. If there was a wing spot and you had to choose where to go to get wings, when would you go
Speaker 2 barbell
Speaker 2 or they got this place called
Speaker 2 is it's love something i don't know my mom doesn't know the name of it i just know where it's at it's downtown in buffalo but either there or barbell and y'all got bitten i don't need them all i need i need them to add that honey lemon pepper and then hot lemon pepper i need both of those flavors on all these menus okay
Speaker 2 That's only that's the only flavor they missing for me.
Speaker 2 Hot lemon pepper and honey lemon pepper. I I need both.
Speaker 2 They ain't got no wing stuff out there in Buffalo, are
Speaker 2
nah. We ain't got that.
What? I don't think so. I ain't seen one.
Well, you are, I mean, you right across the street, you right across the bridge from Toronto.
Speaker 2
You, you, you, you, you travel across the bridge. Hey, I, oh, that ain't no, that ain't right across the bridge.
That's an hour and a half. Hey, Toronto ain't no hour and a half.
Speaker 2 Now you gonna tell me? It's an hour and a half.
Speaker 2
Because when I came to Buffalo, because when I came to Buffalo, I went across the house. And that traffic ridiculous.
And you heard it what you say,
Speaker 2 what you you say, what you say, Keith
Speaker 2
that traffic ridiculous. Oh, come on.
Soon as you, as soon as you cross the border and you get down to the to Toronto, traffic ridiculous.
Speaker 2 Oh, that thing don't change because when we went across there, it wasn't no hour. Because you know, we hey, because you know, we land,
Speaker 2 hey, drop them bags off. Where y'all was standing at though? Where y'all was standing at? Y'all was in the city of Buffalo? No,
Speaker 2 I don't think so because
Speaker 2 man,
Speaker 2 y'all had to be. We was only 20, we was like a 20-minute cab ride.
Speaker 2 So, from what? From Toronto.
Speaker 2
No, you must be talking about from the border. Once you cross the border, that ain't Toronto.
You got to drive to Toronto. Hey, I don't know, but they tell us we was in Toronto.
Speaker 2
So I took their word for it. Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, Keon.
Speaker 2
I'm trying to figure out. If you flew in for a game and y'all playing the Bills, what you were doing in Toronto? What's in Toronto? Oh, my bad.
Bye-bye.
Speaker 2 My bad. Hey, my bad.
Speaker 2 Are you on?
Speaker 2 My bad. My bad.
Speaker 2
Hey, that was a long time ago. I don't remember.
I know. What's the name of the spot you went to? I don't remember.
Speaker 2 Yeah, you remember.
Speaker 2 You remember?
Speaker 2 I might meet him.
Speaker 2
That was before you was born, Key. I can't even remember that, Keith.
I ain't gonna lie to you. I ain't gonna hold you.
Oh, you just remember gold? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 Everything was a blur.
Speaker 2 But let me ask you this.
Speaker 2 Your seminals. So look, are you are you more Florida State or are you more Michigan State? Because
Speaker 2 your seminals fell on hard times. This year, Keith.
Speaker 2 Man,
Speaker 2 I can't even answer that question.
Speaker 2
I mean, I spent more years in Michigan State, at Michigan State than I did at Florida State. But Florida State was a real iconic seven, eight months that I was there.
So I'm both.
Speaker 2 But Michigan State, you know, got a whole new culture style come from the West Coast. So it's a different program than when I was there.
Speaker 2 But, you know, some of my family guys still there in the weight room and stuff like that. So I'm both sides.
Speaker 2 I'd be watching somewhat But you know most of the guys that I was like my younger guys when I was there at different schools. So I watched different teams record
Speaker 2 you you you still you still thinking you still like
Speaker 2 you supporting them
Speaker 2 Yeah, I support players more so because teams change universal coach all that change.
Speaker 2 I ain't that's like my favorite player was Coke if Coke would have ever left forget the leaving you know so that's just me I root for my young guys that was under me and that I played with and you know I got a guy Alabama that I watch Bama games.
Speaker 2
Now, I ain't never really watched no Bama games, but he there. And you got different guys in different areas.
I watch their games to support them.
Speaker 2 Hey,
Speaker 2 sometimes you wear two mouthpieces, right?
Speaker 2 I know I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 What's that about? Where does that come from? Is that from Lil League? Is that something you've always done? I remember seeing you do it at Florida State.
Speaker 2 If I'm not mistaken, you did in the league too, right?
Speaker 2
I did a few games, but man, by the time you forget, I don't even wear a mouthpiece in the game. Yeah, so I just have them.
And if I didn't put them on there before the game, then then they probably
Speaker 2 put on but that's florida stand i used to wear the apple watch with the uh
Speaker 2 one whatever apple watch band they used to send me the bad colors a teen and i just to wear it like i just to be trolling wearing these teen colors it was like it was fine at first i did it but now everybody's just throwing like random colors it don't hit nothing okay okay okay okay what is the opposite teen colors it look it looks fine okay i got you i got you are you are you a talker do you talk trash during the game do you like hey bro hey all you about find yourself on the waiver while tomorrow is trying to deal with me?
Speaker 2
Nah, I'll be chilling, bro. But if they say something to me, then it's zero to the credit.
Oh, yeah, I just be vibing. I come there to do my job.
Speaker 2
I'm like, oh, but the moment you say something, it could be something nice. I don't want to hear it.
Just don't right, right, right. We're going to be good.
Speaker 2
So you had you, but somebody three seconds, then I'm on 10. Like, I don't know.
Now, you have any issues with any DBs this year that really talked trash to you, or was everybody kind of straight?
Speaker 2 No, only
Speaker 2 uh, Will William Williams, only Christian shadow,
Speaker 2 and we seen how that one ended, but
Speaker 2
that means that was the only person really told me something all year. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Key, man, thanks for joining us tonight, bro. We really appreciate it.
Continued success.
Speaker 2
Hey, build on that rookie season. You got your sophomore season, your quarterbacks back in the fold.
It's time to take that next step, bro.
Speaker 2 It's time to be, hey, when we talk about these top receivers, it's time to make sure Uncanocho have your name in that discussion. Yes, sir.

Speaker 2 oh joe miles garrett explained his change of heart he had a john q moment a change of heart and explained why he's staying in cleveland i think some i think I had some frustration and I feel like that helped us grow it and have a conversation where difficult but needed to be had.
Speaker 2
That created a little more discourse, helped build some relationships and reaffirmed them. Now I feel like we're in a better place.
Now we can have, we can move on and grow from there.
Speaker 2 Despite Garrett's explanation, the perception surrounding his decision to stay remains he was prioritizing money over winning.
Speaker 2 And NFL network, Kyle Brandt, said Garrett should have been more straightforward about role money played in staying with the Browns. It was about money.
Speaker 2 And the money said, we want to win and we want to do it now.
Speaker 2
Eli, I got no problem with that. I have no problem, Ocho, with him getting that kind of money.
Yeah. But he know how you're going to win now you ain't got no quarterback.
Speaker 2
Hold on. You in the same position.
The only difference that Miles Garrett is in now is that he got $123 million guaranteed, $100 million over the first three years.
Speaker 2
That is the only thing that has changed. Nothing has changed towards him winning.
Yeah. Who they going to win with, Ocho? I have a question.
Yes.
Speaker 2
You know, you understand, you know why you wanted to leave. You understand why you wanted to leave.
You understood also
Speaker 2 when you asked to talk to management,
Speaker 2
they told you, we're not talking. We don't want to talk to you and we're not training you.
No, no, the owner didn't want to have the conversation.
Speaker 2 He said, talk to Andrew Berry, who's the general manager who's running it. He wasn't finna have no conversation either, because you know what we're finna do? We know how to get you to want to be here.
Speaker 2 We're gonna pay you.
Speaker 2
Yes. We're gonna pay you.
He had no more guaranteed money. All the guaranteed money that he had signed that big contract that made him the highest paid defender at one point in time was gone.
Now,
Speaker 2 instead of pretending like I'm looking greedy and said, asking for a contract, you know what? I want to win.
Speaker 2 I ain't got no. Oh, Joe.
Speaker 2
Look, and I don't want anybody to take this the wrong way. I really don't have a problem with that.
Right. But everybody that's looking at this.
Speaker 2 objectively and realistically knows that Miles Garrett is in no better situation today.
Speaker 2 The only better situation is is financially yeah he's in no better situation they're not even exposed to win
Speaker 2 also you got to think about it him wanting to trade and saying i don't want to be here they wasn't letting him go anywhere they wouldn't let him go so i mean you you stuck between a rock and a hard place because he knew that we not trading you oh joe he knew it listen even when they want to trade when players want to get traded sometimes they'll come to him and offer money hey and guess what carson palmer cars and palmer really wanted to be out of there since they couldn't offer him enough money, could they, Ocho?
Speaker 2
Now, he refused to come. Remember, he said he won't.
That's when you want to get up out of there. Right.
Speaker 2
Yeah. Miles, it was always about money.
Miles wanted more guaranteed money. Miles wanted to be the highest paid defender.
I got no problem whatsoever.
Speaker 2 But I want people to objectively say, you tell me. that Miles Garrett is in a better situation and is in a situation that's more conducive to winning today
Speaker 2 than he was a month ago. Right.
Speaker 2 No, I mean, we all understand that. We all understand that's all.
Speaker 2
Get your money. But also, get your money.
Also, management, management doesn't want to lose that centerpiece of that defense. Management doesn't want to lose the identity to that defense.
Speaker 2 You know, that defense,
Speaker 2
it was good. It was good.
I'm not sure what the numbers were last night, but if you look at them across the board, they are good. Denzel Award.
Speaker 2
Miles Garrett, along with the rest of the submission. They can be as good as they want to.
If your offense ain't no good, you ain't going going nowhere.
Speaker 2
Yeah, what are they going to do with the quarterback position? We will find out. We'll find out.
Listen, we'll find out.
Speaker 2 Listen, we'll find out in April.
Speaker 2
We're going to find out. We're going to find out in April.
You bring somebody young, you get a veteran presence in there to probably start this year to at least give you a chance. Maybe Kirk Cousins.
Speaker 2
I'm not sure what's going to happen. You know, so I'm, listen, I'm just excited for every goddamn body.
People getting their money.
Speaker 2
I ain't got no problem with that buddy. Yeah, I don't.
I don't.
Speaker 2 But my thing is, now, unless you get one of these rookies and he's like Jaden Daniels, you really not going. Now, look, it was reported that Russell Wilson was scheduled a visit.
Speaker 2 I saw it last week, so I don't know if that visits. Thursday.
Speaker 2
Thursday, right? Last week. Giants first.
Oh, it was last week.
Speaker 2
I think so. Chad, y'all can correct Ocho and I if we're wrong, but I think I read it last week that he was supposed to have a visit to Cleveland and the Giants.
And I don't know which day
Speaker 2 each visit was scheduled, but
Speaker 2 that's what I read.
Speaker 2 Now, the situation, it's also being reported i don't know if there's any truth to this that in the process of getting his money he wanted him to work something out with us nick chubb right i don't know i you know you read i read i don't know what's true all i'm just saying what i read i don't i don't and i i hate that i brought that up because right uh that was in the paper and we don't really know if that's true and if it is that was a very noble and honorable thing to do.
Speaker 2 Yes. One of the guys that's been there as long as you had
Speaker 2 I think he came.
Speaker 2 I think he came a year year before, I mean, no, he came a year after because I think he came with Baker. I think Chubb was the second-round pick with Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 2 I'm almost sure of that. But he's been one of the leaders in the locker room.
Speaker 2 He's been one of the leaders in the locker room. And
Speaker 2 Miles felt that he wanted it. If they're going to win,
Speaker 2 I want Chubb to be a part of it. Yeah,
Speaker 2
I like it. I like it.
Chubb coming off of his second year after ACL Terry, I'm sure he's going to have a better season this year.
Speaker 2 If we can get Chubb back to the Chubb we're used to seeing regards to who's at the quarterback position, I think that makes things a little easier for them in that area simply because it's, to me, it's almost a comparison.
Speaker 2 I'm not saying Derrick Henry, but he ain't too goddamn far off.
Speaker 2 If you watch Nick Chubb play, play over the years.
Speaker 2 He ain't that far off.
Speaker 2
You know what, Ocho? I just don't know. I mean, that was a serious injury that he's coming back from.
Yeah, man. And he had a
Speaker 2 second time
Speaker 2 in college.
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 2 the determination, I just hope he can get some resemblance of being the back that he once was.
Speaker 2
Most times we don't see power backs. We don't see power backs.
It's been very few power backs have the longevity of Adrian Peterson, a Derrick Henry. We're talking about not contact collision backs.
Speaker 2 Run to collision. They'll run you over.
Speaker 2 I mean, they're not really trying to run nobody.
Speaker 2 They're trying to punish you and make you turn it down because that tackle that you make in the first and second quarter, you're going to be a little bit more apprehensive in the third and the fourth quarter.
Speaker 2 And if you notice, as the game progresses, those guys get stronger. Yeah.
Speaker 2
Yeah. Bro, you ain't got to run on people one time with a bus.
I will dodge that bus the next time I see that motherfucker coming.
Speaker 2 Every time. Every time.
Speaker 2 never seen i've never seen a running back there have been many of them i've never seen a running back run as violently
Speaker 2 as violently as all day adrian peterson yeah i ain't never seen adrian peterson marion barber didn't have the same type of success or acceleration or or i'm didn't have the longevity the longevity But something about Adrian Peterson, he played.
Speaker 2 What did they do wrong to you for you to run the ball like that?
Speaker 2 Angry.
Speaker 2 Beast mode ran like that. Oh, and
Speaker 2
Beastmode played it. Bleach Mode had a longer beast mode had a long career.
Yeah, he had it.
Speaker 2 But if you go back and look at the guy that came to the top of my head, I don't know how many people in the chat old enough to remember was Earl Campbell. Earl was like that.
Speaker 2
But Earl only lasted like seven, eight years. And I don't know if y'all have seen Earl.
Earl has been in the wheelchair for the last 20, 25 years. For real? It broke.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 So now earlier earl has done great off the field he got a uh he got a meat packing hot links and stuff like that sausages have been state stuff like that so he's done really well but earl ran to contact he was a collision back not a contact because contact and collision are two different things
Speaker 2 And normally those guys that run to have collisions, they don't have a longevity. Adrian Peterson played, what, 12, 13 years.
Speaker 2
You see Dee Henry play the number of years he's played. The guy, I mean, he went for 2,000.
He was on a pace to have another 2,000 yards. He got hurt at rushing for about 1,100
Speaker 2
with eight games to go. Go, yeah.
He was
Speaker 2 on pace to get another.
Speaker 2 He had a knee injury, bounces back from that, go get 1,500, comes to the Ravens, goes and get 1,900.
Speaker 2
That's crazy. I've never seen anything like Derrick Henry.
I can honestly say, I've never seen anything like Derrick Henry.
Speaker 2 A guy runs like that, that goes over 2,000, that goes over 2,000, and then comes within 80 yards from having 2,000 again. Right.
Speaker 2 That's crazy.
Speaker 2
It absolutely is. But hopefully Chubb can get some of what he lost, Ocho, from that injury, because you know, every time, Ocho, them injuries, they take a little bit out of you every time.
It does.
Speaker 2 Take a little bit out of you every time. Yeah.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 It does. But listen,
Speaker 2 even as a Bengal fan,
Speaker 2 I would love
Speaker 2 the Browns at full strength.
Speaker 2 And whatever decisions they do make, whether it be in offseason acquisitions, whether it be through the draft, I would love them at full strength when they do play my Bengals.
Speaker 2
So there are no excuses about, oh, we didn't have a quarterback or our running back was hurt. Or I want to make sure Miles Garrett is there when we put up 50 points.
I want them at full strength.
Speaker 2
I'm sure we have people in the chat that are Browns fans. I love you.
I love you dearly. I love you dearly.
But come this season, we know who's running running the AFC North.
Speaker 2 I know you have Ravens fans. Who?
Speaker 2 Ravens.
Speaker 2 I know we have Ravens fans in the chat, and you know how I feel about you. And I tell you this, I've been telling you
Speaker 2 2001.
Speaker 2
I love every last one of you, huh? Every last one of you. Oh, yo, y'all ain't won but a handful of games.
Damn.
Speaker 2 Let me finish my speech.
Speaker 2 We know this year, 2025,
Speaker 2 the AFC North
Speaker 2 is coming through the 513. Now,
Speaker 2 if you need me to come sit with y'all at MNT Bank, what's it called? MNT Bank? Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 What's the area code of Raven? A 443?
Speaker 2
I don't know. Yeah, anybody from B-Mo in the chat? What is it? 443? I know we got Ravens.
I know we got Raven fans in the chat. Definitely.
Definitely. I love every last one.
Speaker 2
First of all, we already know Cincinnati don't run nothing, but they rock miles. Y'all don't run nothing.
Ain't nothing coming through no Cincinnati. Stop.
Speaker 2 Hey, thing one thing that you should you can learn about my organization that you that you can see that we prove we made we've done something historical that we've never done before that was out of character 14.
Speaker 2 that's right 14 410. what's that
Speaker 2 baldivore okay okay okay okay okay oh it is four quarter three i remember yeah
Speaker 2 I used to have a,
Speaker 2 I ain't never had no Ravens.
Speaker 2
I think I had a landline. I did have a landline.
But that was
Speaker 2
20 years. Man, hold up, first of all, Ocho.
You may see I had a landline yesterday.
Speaker 2 That was 20 years ago when I was in Baltimore. But the way you, the way you said it, like it was yesterday.
Speaker 2 So you don't have a you don't have a landline in your house right now? No,
Speaker 2 why not?
Speaker 2
Who's gonna call me on the landline? People call you on your cell phone. Oh, yeah, I was just asking.
I was just asking when the last time you seen the payphone.
Speaker 2 Everything with that.
Speaker 2 y'all been with it right here. Hey, hey, I can't see it.
Speaker 2 That's a no kill.
Speaker 2 That's a no-kill.
Speaker 2 That'll kill us being old.
Speaker 2 Oh, who?
Speaker 2 Hello?
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2
Baby. Yeah, yeah.
It's about
Speaker 2 carbon.
Speaker 2 Tall, big booty. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, yeah.
Speaker 2
I saw, I saw her coming in. She got like two kids down there.
Yeah, she still look good. Yeah, all right.
Speaker 2 Hey, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Speaker 2
Let me call you back. This is my brother call.
Let me call you back.
Speaker 2
Hey, Joe, let me get that right there. Hey, hey.
Hey, that just had a conversation be going too, huh? Yeah.
Speaker 2 Oh, Joe.
Speaker 2
Look what I did. Look at it.
Look at it right here. Look at it right here.
Speaker 2 Who that against, Ocho?
Speaker 2 That's us?
Speaker 2 Who that again?
Speaker 2 That's us?
Speaker 2 Yeah, that's y'all. And guess what? In the end, zone I win.
Speaker 2
What number is that? What number is that? Uh, that Bengal Jersey. I don't know.
Well, we call it reruns. You remember how rerun was chasing that truck on what's happening? Right.
That's him.
Speaker 2 That's him.
Speaker 2 That's my rookie year, ain't it?
Speaker 2 I don't think you were there yet, Ocho.
Speaker 2 Okay.
Speaker 2
October 7th, 2001. That is you.
That's your rookie year. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was there.
Speaker 2
I'm trying. I wonder what Darnell and P.
Dub did that game. Nothing, nothing.
Not a damn thing.
Speaker 2
I don't know. Nothing.
I don't know about you.
Speaker 2 I know.
Speaker 2
I know. Nothing.
They ain't.
Speaker 2 Who won the game?
Speaker 2 I lost one game in 14 years to the Bengal. Bengals.
Speaker 2 Did I score?
Speaker 2
I don't think so. Y'all beat, y'all beat when we came, when we came to y'all, y'all beat us.
I think y'all beat us by like three points. Yeah, that would be.
That would be. That would be.
Speaker 2
Nah, that wasn't you. That wasn't you.
No. But
Speaker 2 no, I look. I don't want people to think.
Speaker 2
I don't got no problem with Miles Garrett. I just think the thing was that was his play all along.
He played it perfectly. Yeah.
He played it. He played it perfectly.
Speaker 2 Right. He did.
Speaker 2 And look at it right here, Ocho.
Speaker 2 What's that?
Speaker 2
I know that's not a camcorder. Hey, you better, you better know it.
Hey, and you know, as soon as I seen the bag, I knew what it was, huh?
Speaker 2 Hey, I know you got, you can, you was that, you went to freak me?
Speaker 2 Hey,
Speaker 2 hey,
Speaker 2 be like Spike Lee. Do the right thing.
Speaker 2 So you was there?
Speaker 2 You was there?
Speaker 2 Was I? I want to see the footage. No, you can't sue this, OJo.
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 2 All things will stop.
Speaker 2 Everything.
Speaker 2 Hey,
Speaker 2 boy, I could imagine, boy.
Speaker 2 This going right back to the vault.
Speaker 2 I could imagine.
Speaker 2 You still got a VCR?
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 2 I bet you ain't got no CD player.
Speaker 2
Nah, but I got a bunch of cell phones upstairs. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
A bunch of them. I'm talking about, I got to keep all my cell phones.
Speaker 2
I bet you ain't got no sidekick. No, I wasn't in the sidekick, so Joe, I ain't going to lie to you.
You had a beefer, a pager? Nope.
Speaker 2 I bet you ain't got the Motorola Block phone.
Speaker 2
I do got, it's in Glenville. I got the big one and the little stuff.
I got the big one. Okay, okay.
I got the Star Tech. I got a bunch of phones upstairs.
Okay, okay, okay. Hold on just a second.
Speaker 2
Keep on talking. Let me go upstairs right quick.
Hold on. All right, Chad.
Listen, Chad, while he goes upstairs and then
Speaker 2 rummages through all the stuff from the 80s, and I want to talk about my bangles. I want to talk about my bangles, and I want to tell y'all what's going to happen this year.
Speaker 2
Now, I've always been right when it comes to predicting stuff, and I'm really wrong. I'm really wrong.
Now, I think about last year,
Speaker 2
I was wrong twice in a 17, 18 game season, including the playoffs. I guess the playoffs all the way right.
I said the Eagles are probably going to win the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2
Again, they were going to play the Chiefs. Boom.
I was right. So this year, the AFC North is going to go through Cincinnati.
It's going to go through Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 So what's going to happen, the way it's going to play out is we're probably going to score 40 to 50 points a game. 40 to 50 points a game.
Speaker 2 and our defense is going to be adequate and just good enough to stop teams maybe allow maybe 17 to 20 points a game that's how it's going to go i'm not telling you what i heard i'm telling you what i know because it's the way the game goes and just the way the way things are flowing in general for us as an organization to do something that's never been done before that's out of character for us
Speaker 2 as a team and organization,
Speaker 2 it's going to reward ourselves. the football gods are going to reward us simply because we did something that we've never done before and we made history okay
Speaker 2 i think
Speaker 2 i think now i don't have the numbers in front of me it's possible that we can sign tray hendrickson i think it's possible and so we're going to do that now that's one staple you know that's one staple that we can have that's part of the ecosystem defensively if we can get that back uh
Speaker 2 you know i i'm not sure um
Speaker 2 secondary we got some good dudes out there on the corner. Safety, I'm not sure what's going on with Vaughn and some of the safeties or whatnot.
Speaker 2 But outside of that, if you're a gambler man, if there are any gambling women in the chat, I'm telling you now, put your money, put your money on the bangles.
Speaker 2
All right. We're going to be in San Francisco and I'm going to meet y'all there sometime in February.
And that's it.
Speaker 2 Outside of that, I hope y'all had a good Monday. I had a great Monday.
Speaker 2 You see my jacket?
Speaker 2 This is Leopard or Cheetah. I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 It all look the same.
Speaker 2
Hello. I love y'all.
I don't know what else to say right now.
Speaker 2
Oh, Joe, this is the only one I can fire. You remember this one? That's a razor.
That's a razor.
Speaker 2
Star Tech. Star Tech, right? See, I knew it was either Razor or Star Tech.
One or the other. Chat, y'all got this? The antenna come up, right? Yeah.
Speaker 2

Yes.
Speaker 2
Listen, I got all my HBCU band music on that old iPod. I told you it was thick too, boy.
Yeah, I got it.
Speaker 2 Hey, I keep everything.
Speaker 2 Old MacBook.
Speaker 2 Hey, what you be doing with all that, man? I don't let nothing go.
Speaker 2
Hey, you see the big computer behind me, OJo? I got big desktops, too. Hey, listen, you can have a yard sale and make a grip, boy.
Oh, no.
Speaker 2 They ain't going to sell it? No.
Speaker 2 I don't want nobody to get no information off here. Oh, no.
Speaker 2 Uh-uh.
Speaker 2 Uh-uh.
Speaker 2 Oh, no.
Speaker 2 What you got on there? You acting like 007.
Speaker 2
I don't know what's on there. Okay, okay.
But I tell you what, ain't nobody else going to find out what's on there either. I got you.
I got you.
Speaker 2
You don't want to slip up, huh? No, I want it. Hey, I want everything I told you, Ocho.
Yeah,
Speaker 2 I would need a crane in my casket to carry my casket. Six can't you do it?
Speaker 2 Too many skeletons,
Speaker 2
two minute secrets, oh cho. Two minute secrets.
I got you. I got you.
I got you.
Speaker 2 Oh, DJ Hoosh Bosada. Ocho, you had three catches for 28 yards.
Speaker 2 Wait.
Speaker 2 I only had three for 28. Yep.
Speaker 2
Damn, I'm sorry as hell. I had more than you.
I had three for 32. Hold on.
I thought I caught a touchdown that game. Nah, you ain't catching it.
Hey, you got touchdown.
Speaker 2 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 You got tackled on that play.
Speaker 2 That might have been,
Speaker 2 that was my, uh, that was my.
Speaker 2
That was my first year in Baltimore. I caught a touchdown.
Look at 2000, Ash. I thought I caught a touchdown on them.
Speaker 2
Travis Taylor had four for 66. I had three for 32.
Cadre had three for 31. Brandon Stokely had one for 23.
Todd Heap had one for 18.
Speaker 2 Or Williams had two for five. Yeah.
Speaker 2 Ojo averaged 10 yards a catch.
Speaker 2 9.3.
Speaker 2 That had 153 yards. What, offense? Yeah, passing.
Speaker 2
Oh, that's bad. yep tj led y'all with 63 you was next with 28.
that's me that's me that's me i was just i would get darned scott had one for 20. danny farmer had two for 16.

Don't do that.
Speaker 2 I definitely.
Speaker 2
Go back and look at that film and watch Rob Burnett. If y'all see the highlights, go back and look at that here.
In 2000, Rob Burnett put on Achille Smith.
Speaker 2 He might have not played no more that year.
Speaker 2
He must have caught him from the blast side, huh? Boy, he caught him. Hey, he was looking just like this.
No, he was like this. And Rob Burnett, he'll put his helmet right up on his chin.
Speaker 19 Okay.
Speaker 20 Only 10 more presents to wrap.
Speaker 19 You're almost at the finish line.
Speaker 2 But first.
Speaker 2 There,
Speaker 2 the last one.

Breaking news. Bengal, Jamar, Chase, and T.
Higgins exclusively tell me they've agreed to a contract extension with the team. Jamar gets four years, $161 million, with
Speaker 2
$112 million guaranteed, making him the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history. T.
Higgins gets four years,
Speaker 2 115 with the first two years guaranteed, making him the highest paid
Speaker 2 wide receiver two in NFL history.
Speaker 2
Wow. Congratulations, brother Jamar Chase, brother T.
Higgins. They got that deal done.
Speaker 2 Joe Burrow, I know Joe is happy, very happy to keep that unit together.
Speaker 2 Obviously, me,
Speaker 2
I didn't think it would be possible. I didn't think it would be possible.
Obviously, I can't break down the numbers right now in front of me, but the fact that Joe was able to keep the
Speaker 2 two main targets.
Speaker 2 Yeah,
Speaker 2 keep the two main guys together, man, is a really good thing.
Speaker 2 And that's a step in the right direction for us
Speaker 2 and finishing
Speaker 2 what we need to to get back to
Speaker 2 the promised land at the end of the season. So
Speaker 2 I'm happy for them. I'm excited.
Speaker 2 And kudos
Speaker 2 to the the blackburn family to mike brown and getting that done and um but let's get some work on that defense in now
Speaker 2 yeah i don't see how they i don't see how they pay
Speaker 2 trey hendrickson he wants north of 30 million right
Speaker 2 yeah i don't see i don't see how i'm not saying it can't be done i just don't see how
Speaker 2 do you think it's possible to still pay tray
Speaker 2 what do you what do you think i mean that's that's tying all he's gonna type in all yeah that's tying all the money up and just
Speaker 2 he won't know the 30. Right.
Speaker 2 Imagine that's 35 sacks in two years.
Speaker 2
Nobody has that many sacks in the past two years. Right.
He's been a Pro Bowler both years. I just thought,
Speaker 2 like I said, it could have happened. Yes.
Speaker 2 And the question is that you have to ask yourself, Ocho, is the opportunity to go to the Super Bowl, potentially win it over the next two years,
Speaker 2 is that worth potentially
Speaker 2 being a salary cap hell in 27, 28. Right.
Speaker 2 Well, also.
Speaker 2
This is about 25, 26, Ocho. This is what this is about.
Right.
Speaker 2 But, you know, listen, there's a way you can get out of salary cap hell is by continuing to restructure those that have
Speaker 2 large contracts. Yeah.
Speaker 2
But all you're doing is kicking it down the road. You done doing this.
You kick it down the road because that balloon baby gonna come due now. Oh, at some point.
Speaker 2 At some point. But hey, congratulations.
Speaker 2
I know, I know all on, listen, I know my Bengal fans. I know, I know y'all are happy, man.
Zim Houde,
Speaker 2 I love you. The deal has gotten done.
Speaker 2 I'm excited. I'm happy for both of them.
Speaker 2
I just want to make sure we do what we need to do on the defensive end of the ball. Where we had our problems, our issues offensively.
It just started late.
Speaker 2 Just start late in the beginning of the season. We need to fix that, fix that.
Speaker 2 I think we're going to be all right. But we need to work on that defensive defensive side of the ball and
Speaker 2 get some
Speaker 2
off-season acquisitions in, you know, some help on defense. And I think we're going to be all right.
All right.
Speaker 2
Yeah. Who did? OJ Brooks, breaking news.
Higgins and Chase are back.
Speaker 2
I mean, let's see. 41, that's 71, Joe Burrow.
So that's $126 million annually, tied up in three players.
Speaker 2 uh how much is that tied between two hundred 55 million for joe 41 for uh chase 30 for higgins okay oh that's good too that's 126 million
Speaker 2 i like that i i mean so that that means if you sign if you sign if you sign hendrickson
Speaker 2 That's a hundred and that's a hundred that'd be over 150 million. So you'll you'll have half your cap
Speaker 2 over half your cap in four players
Speaker 2 i just don't see how to do it let we'll see how they do hold on just do we
Speaker 2 let's i i think it's gonna pay off this is something this is have the have the bengals ever rolled the dice like this before no has mike brown ever rolled the dice if no change sometimes you have to do things different
Speaker 2 the definition of insanity and doing the same thing over and over and over and over and getting the same results and expecting something to change
Speaker 2 The fact that he's willing to change it, the fact that
Speaker 2 the Blackburn family and the Mike Brown family are willing to do something different, it lets you know: all right, you know what? We are intent on winning.
Speaker 2 We're intent on winning and doing what's necessary to make sure we do
Speaker 2 for one to contend in the ASC North and then further ourselves in the playoffs when the time comes.
Speaker 2
I like it. I like it.
I'm excited. I'm excited.
I saw T. Higgins just tweeted.
T. Higgins just tweeted the handshake, handshake emoji.
Speaker 2
That's dope. That's tight.
That's tight. I'm happy.
I'm excited. Yeah.
So when we win the AFC North, you know why.
Speaker 2 It happened.
Speaker 2 Did the Ravens trade L Jack? Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Speaker 2 This is what we're not going to do. This is not what we're going to do.
Speaker 2 The AFC North this year, I'm not talking about what's happened in the past. I'm talking about this year.
Speaker 2
it's running through Cincinnati. It's running through 513.
I'm just letting you know ahead of time.
Speaker 2 No one has ever said the road to the Super Bowl goes through Cincinnati. You know what?
Speaker 2 And you know what happened? No one has ever seen Mike Brown
Speaker 2 and Troy and Katie do what they've done today.
Speaker 2
Okay. Okay.
All right.
Speaker 2 Oh, Joe, there has reportedly been quite the vibe shift for wide receiver Garrett Wilson after the New York Jets Jets moved on from Aaron Rodgers and added Justin Fields this offseason.
Speaker 2 Wilson has told friends he's thrilled with the addition of Fields.
Speaker 2 ESPN's Rich Samini wrote Sunday, it's no secret that he and Rogers didn't see eye to eye last season, but now he has now he has a quarterback he knows and respects.
Speaker 2 They've maintained a good relationship. Another reason Wilson said to be excited about 2025.
Speaker 2 In December, the NFL network's in Rappaport reported all is not well with Rogers and Wilson and added that privately there have been questions regarding whether Rogers and Wilson can find common ground since they had a blow up during training camp, which I tried to tell Ocho.
Speaker 2 Ocho said, don't worry about that.
Speaker 2
Yeah, I didn't think it would be anything bad because I've had those same kind of talks with John Kidder. I've had those same talks with Carson Palmer.
But not every day? Oh, not every day.
Speaker 2 I thought it was just that one clip.
Speaker 2
No, you saw them talking every day. Yeah.
Most of the time, I think they weren't able to get on the same page. Aaron Rodgers wanted things done a certain way.
Speaker 2
And Garrett Wilson was kind of kind of complaining. Whatever it may have been, it didn't work out.
I like the fact that he had Justin Fields.
Speaker 2 And I know one thing, goddamn Fields is going to get that ball to Brother Wilson.
Speaker 2
He's going to feed it to him. And they're going to find ways to get him back where he was his rookie season.
Yeah. Where he's very productive.
Because after this season, hey,
Speaker 2 they got to come see five with that bag, man. Yeah.
Speaker 2 They got to come see five with that that bag he's the top 10 receiver in the nfl right now he didn't look like it from a productive standpoint last year because the offense was in disarray but he gonna get back to that this is justin fields year two justin fields can make himself some good money you know if he have a good season huh he'll redo it yeah if he have himself a good season and they'd be like you know what this is
Speaker 2 the quarterback of the future for us And he play how I think he should play.
Speaker 2 Now that you have nothing to worry about behind you, you you ain't got to worry about nobody's taking your spot all you have to do is just play football freely and just focus this is your team this could be your team they can hand you the keys
Speaker 2 ojo i just found it odd that garrett wilson uh-huh was offensive rookie of the year yeah and looked better with zach wilson and those guys than he did with aaron rodgers yeah well i just found it odd what who what quarterback who he looked who is Zach Wilson.
Speaker 2 I think he had Joe Flacco.
Speaker 2 Mike White.
Speaker 2
I think he had a couple of different quarterbacks. And the guy was offensive rookie of the year, OJo? Zach Wilson.
That was the guy. Yeah.
Okay.
Speaker 2
So, look, and sometimes, like you said, Rogers was used to doing things a certain way. And that way, you know, at the end of the day, we got to get a week.
Look,
Speaker 2
if we're trying to do the same thing, there have to be a give and take. Right.
Okay. I understand that you, but I can't do everything that you want.
I need you to meet me.
Speaker 2 Can we, can we meet in the middle? Somewhere halfway.
Speaker 2 Can we meet in the middle? You got to be on the same page, huh? Yeah. You got to be.
Speaker 2 I'm not saying, look, I'm not saying I can't, I'm not saying that we can't go to brunch, but can we not, do we have to go to brunch every Sunday? Mm-hmm, of every month, of every week?
Speaker 2 Can we like
Speaker 2
just stay home? And can I watch the games? Yeah. I mean, there has to be a happy medium somewhere, Ocho.
I understand who you are, but understand that, look,
Speaker 2 am I as accomplished as you? No. No.
Speaker 2 But
Speaker 2 don't think I'm not fair to cheat. I'm not fair to cheat around this mother.
Speaker 2
Come on now. Yeah.
You're right.
Speaker 2 You're right. You got to be on the same page.
Speaker 2 The volume.
