Speaker 20 New episodes release every Tuesday.

Speaker 22 Hey there, Matthew Mercer here, and you're listening to part two of this episode of Age of Umrah, a dark tale and campaign setting from our recently released tabletop RPG Dagger Heart from Darrington Press.

Speaker 27 If you haven't checked out part one yet, pause this now and head over there first.

Speaker 23 Otherwise, let's return to our adventurers striving against the darkness in part two.

Speaker 30 Welcome back. So,

Speaker 32 your troop of makeshift delvers sent on this rescue mission to bring back the

Speaker 29 last seen still-living vigil member, Velk Dravenmore.

Speaker 39 who exists somewhere left behind near the newly discovered gate to the firmament's hero.

Speaker 32 You take the map that you had plucked from the clutches of Eren

Speaker 45 to Reskello and marks for you, which I did on there for you, the path that was taken

Speaker 45 to where they had uncovered

Speaker 25 where this entryway was.

Speaker 49 There are blue dots among it, which are blue torches that are left on the last mission delving.

Speaker 24 They will leave blue flame marks.

Speaker 52 to remind them where their last path was until they've been recovered.

Speaker 38 So there are little blue flames along the way that guide you to the last known expedition.

Speaker 56 Okay.

Speaker 51 With this information, you trek outward into the jungle itself,

Speaker 59 towards the base of the Grief Cleft Mountains.

Speaker 45 Who is

Speaker 60 leading this

Speaker 62 journey?

Speaker 37 I am.

Speaker 64 I mean,

Speaker 65 she has eight wings. She can do whatever she wants.

Speaker 63 That's true.

Speaker 65 I mean,

Speaker 66 I'm not.

Speaker 64 I've never been out here before.

Speaker 65 I have been out here before.

Speaker 67 I've been all over the place, actually.

Speaker 20 You're so brave.

Speaker 68 Really?

Speaker 69 Yes.

Speaker 70 I mean,

Speaker 65 I don't think of myself that way, but I mean, I guess if other people do, I'm not going to say no, no, to it.

Speaker 71 I'm a little bit scared.

Speaker 6 Oh.

Speaker 65 Have you...

Speaker 72 I don't.

Speaker 73 Have you been...

Speaker 74 Where are you from?

Speaker 75 She is from the old world.

Speaker 20 Yes, I am from the old world.

Speaker 7 What does that mean?

Speaker 18 She is a living relic.

Speaker 20 Yes, I'm a living relic.

Speaker 18 You have to give her her utmost care and respect.

Speaker 65 I do, of course.

Speaker 65 I just don't know what that means.

Speaker 66 You know, she's a living relic?

Speaker 20 Yes,

Speaker 69 I'm a living relic. Absolutely.

Speaker 13 Living relic.

Speaker 20 Is that...

Speaker 65 I just haven't encountered many of those.

Speaker 76 Tell him, tell them.

Speaker 20 Yes, I-I-I.

Speaker 20 Yes,

Speaker 20 this form was

Speaker 20 made to

Speaker 20 praise and worship and

Speaker 20 kneel before

Speaker 20 the old gods. And

Speaker 20 that is what I was made for.

Speaker 76 Which is why you're going first.

Speaker 65 No, no, I get that. It's just, how did you come back to life? Did you know that...
Did someone... Or were you always alive in there? Like, were you a statue and you were like, oh, get me out of here?

Speaker 65 I can't, I can't move, I can't talk. Like, for years and years, and then somebody, like, animated you? Or was the is it a powerful wizard or a a wish or a a curse?

Speaker 20 I guess we should all be honest then if we're gonna go out.

Speaker 20 Really?

Speaker 80 I just

Speaker 68 I found my way to this statue.

Speaker 20 I was

Speaker 20 wandering for quite some time and

Speaker 20 I found the statue and it felt familiar and

Speaker 20 I have memories, I think, from the statue.

Speaker 65 You were out of the statue? You found the statue. What were you at?

Speaker 65 I don't mean to pry, it's just.

Speaker 20 No, it's it's it's strange for me as well, but I

Speaker 20 believe that

Speaker 20 I died

Speaker 20 and I

Speaker 20 wandered for quite some time and then

Speaker 20 I found my way to this statue

Speaker 20 after August found the statue and

Speaker 20 cleaned it up, I guess, as much as he could and

Speaker 20 it woke up and I was in it.

Speaker 9 So you're you were dead?

Speaker 65 Does that mean you're like a

Speaker 73 undead?

Speaker 76 Clearly not.

Speaker 20 I feel very, very much alive.

Speaker 64 Very alive.

Speaker 83 Certainly alive.

Speaker 20 Yeah, I feel very much alive, and I am a friend.

Speaker 84 Best not to make assumptions.

Speaker 65 I'm not. I've just...
I've seen a lot of

Speaker 65 undeath out there.

Speaker 84 Does this look like undeath to you?

Speaker 9 I think it's also fair to say we don't really know.

Speaker 9 Garrick takes in sort of lost creatures, people without a lot of answers. And we're hoping to find some of those answers out here, but

Speaker 9 I don't think Misty knows much more than she's.

Speaker 64 Do I look like I'm dead to you? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, not at all.

Speaker 34 I mean, it's okay, I know.

Speaker 20 People see me and they get very nervous.

Speaker 9 You're tall and imposing and powerful looking.

Speaker 89 Powerful.

Speaker 65 One last question. Sorry.

Speaker 20 No, don't be sorry.

Speaker 65 I will tell you. This is

Speaker 65 out of my business, business, but

Speaker 90 do you poop?

Speaker 34 Oh,

Speaker 20 you know what, those are actually very interesting questions. I was actually curious, too.
I feel like I would want to know the same. I don't think so, because I don't...
Do you eat? Eat.

Speaker 85 No, no.

Speaker 85 You don't pebble?

Speaker 20 I don't pebble.

Speaker 20 I mean, I could- I could try, I guess, but um... You don't have to.
Thank you.

Speaker 64 That was him. Was that me?

Speaker 91 That was me.

Speaker 63 Was that my ass?

Speaker 64 I don't know if I...

Speaker 20 if I have one, and I start like circling to try.

Speaker 78 Nothing I've ever seen back there.

Speaker 69 No. Misty.

Speaker 20 Thank you. Was your name Misty in your previous life? That was given to me by August.

Speaker 76 You needed

Speaker 84 something to call her, and she was a mystery, and it sort of got shortened

Speaker 76 on the way here.

Speaker 75 You know, the

Speaker 20 old ones, the old clerics, they used to use these statues to

Speaker 20 get divine messages from the veiled gods.

Speaker 75 If this is familiar to you,

Speaker 20 perhaps you got a connection to the veiled gods.

Speaker 20 Maybe I will.

Speaker 72 Maybe. Maybe.

Speaker 20 Maybe

Speaker 20 I have

Speaker 20 memories that I...

Speaker 20 I don't feel like are my own.

Speaker 20 And I feel like they are the statues, but I don't know.

Speaker 20 But maybe we will find out.

Speaker 20 You are a bastion of inspiration.

Speaker 64 Thank you.

Speaker 20 I will fight to defend you.

Speaker 9 But snakes, you should know this information.

Speaker 79 We don't.

Speaker 93 We're careful with it.

Speaker 85 Please. We keep it close.

Speaker 64 Yes, for sure.

Speaker 9 People might misunderstand and desperate luck.

Speaker 20 I will not hurt you.

Speaker 65 Oh, thank you. No, no, I understand.
Secrets are very important, very valuable.

Speaker 65 Yours is safe with me.

Speaker 20 And maybe at the end of all of this,

Speaker 20 I'll get to go home wherever that is.

Speaker 95 Sure.

Speaker 76 It's the hope.

Speaker 20 Shall we adventure?

Speaker 64 We shall.

Speaker 65 I'm happy to lead us, but it's scary out here.

Speaker 65 And so be ready to run.

Speaker 65 And

Speaker 65 in my experience,

Speaker 65 once danger presents itself, it's better to

Speaker 65 scatter. Just run away.
Just run away as fast as you can in

Speaker 65 different directions.

Speaker 7 Yes.

Speaker 65 Someone may end up the slowest, may end up falling, but

Speaker 65 if you're fast enough, you won't be the slowest.

Speaker 20 I don't think I'm very fast.

Speaker 79 Typically, the vigils say that to work as a team in a

Speaker 65 sure, they're strong and they can fight. But if you're not strong and you can't fight, you can just run.
Sure. That's okay, too.

Speaker 20 On that note,

Speaker 18 are we out of eyeshot from the slide walls?

Speaker 75 I'll ask again.

Speaker 64 Who is leading the fake fall? That's me.

Speaker 97 I would like you to take an instinct roll for me, please.

Speaker 98 Just sit here in the doorway, the gateway.

Speaker 64 Insight.

Speaker 49 Instinct.

Speaker 87 Instinct.

Speaker 64 Instinct.

Speaker 34 All right.

Speaker 64 You've got this.

Speaker 65 I sure do.

Speaker 9 Everybody in Dust Brolock has been listening.

Speaker 66 Nine with hope.

Speaker 99 Nine with hope.

Speaker 64 Okay, so you can take a hope.

Speaker 69 However,

Speaker 65 I should have called this before. Yeah, you have to call it before the roll.

Speaker 57 Experiences, you call them pay for before the roll.

Speaker 61 Yeah. Well done.

Speaker 65 I'll remember that next time. That's okay.

Speaker 96 Are we out of eyeshot, though, from people?

Speaker 72 You get a hope.

Speaker 101 Yeah,

Speaker 101 you're beyond.

Speaker 29 You guys have been walking with this conversation, but you've been meandering through the jungle as it progresses.

Speaker 102 And indeed, like, there is that

Speaker 106 sound of the local wildlife kind of strongly pushing through here in the midday greenery, the kind of choking canopy of the stretching jungle trees, like tangled and pulling into each other as vines fall down and seem to sway with the occasional burst of wind, or without wind, seem to almost move and twitch on the roan at the corner of your eye.

Speaker 108 You turn and they're still, but you continue to push onward.

Speaker 109 For to stop and to slow is to leave yourself available for whatever might be hunting or stalking you from behind.

Speaker 18 Once we clear and we're into the forest line,

Speaker 18 you all have probably noticed some clinking of heavy armor, and

Speaker 18 Brixton sheds her tattered

Speaker 18 robes of the pyre keeper and underneath it has like full plate armor that is a little rusted, definitely battle worn,

Speaker 18 a little ill-fitting. It was not made for her

Speaker 18 custom.

Speaker 18 And she like kind of tucks and refashions her robes kind of around her waist and

Speaker 18 finally affixes a sword on her back.

Speaker 48 And this display amongst the nerve-wracking reality that as a scout and

Speaker 39 a messenger through the settlements, you have a very clear and repeated path between settlements to take, the safe route, the known route.

Speaker 53 You've not gone to the vaults before, and nervously pushing ahead without noting a few times you get a little lost and just kind of keep it quietly to yourself

Speaker 79 um it's this way guys

Speaker 106 occasionally you hear

Speaker 63 a low

Speaker 97 kind of off to one side and you kind of quietly push on until it begins to fade in the distance every now and then there's a stillness

Speaker 27 boats scatter out from one area and you kind of freak out

Speaker 116 as they kind of settle off in that space, you also note that means they've made noise and let your location known, so you should also keep moving.

Speaker 39 And it takes a little longer in the afternoon than it should have until you come to the base of the mountains themselves.

Speaker 116 The whole process taking a little bit of toll on your mental health.

Speaker 54 I need you to go ahead and mark a stress for me.

Speaker 115 What do you what's your experience?

Speaker 85 Fearless coward? What is it?

Speaker 117 I have uh

Speaker 65 an experience that would have helped us if I had remembered to use it called well-traveled.

Speaker 65 And then there's one that's spineless coward.

Speaker 54 But indeed, here at the base of the grief cleft, you can see familiar to those who have been to these vaults before or, you know, tracked to see their exterior, at the base of the cliff, there is a massive kind of pointed archway.

Speaker 97 where the entrance to the vaults have been since before this area fell to ruin.

Speaker 105 Since back in the veiled gods still were present on this world and their vision brought hope and light and purpose

Speaker 53 this massive double-doored gateway itself the doors open and chained to be a shaded step into a sightless expanse you can see there are chairs and tables and a few tents around here that currently are closed and left alone for when various members of the scholars go in to do their research, to search for or

Speaker 39 excavate for memories, for reliquaries, for shreds of the past and lost faith, the history that they still try and clamber and piece together, or the delvers set up camp before they proper push into the mountain.

Speaker 119 But you still have

Speaker 114 time you gotta keep to.

Speaker 56 And an individual who might not be

Speaker 114 able to last too long.

Speaker 114 So you push on into the cavern itself.

Speaker 55 And as the

Speaker 46 gentle gray of the midday light fades, it really is so soothing.

Speaker 54 You light your torches and push into

Speaker 120 the dark

Speaker 52 Veluzal vault.

Speaker 29 Hear the smell of old

Speaker 122 still air,

Speaker 56 the scent of flesh decaying long ago sits faintly through each inhale.

Speaker 58 You can smell rust.

Speaker 95 You can smell old water

Speaker 54 and earth only recently uncovered.

Speaker 116 Who's leading with the map?

Speaker 9 Before we get to the map, I'll just kind of share that Velk Draven more is a Qatari in his

Speaker 9 40s, but he also has

Speaker 9 all sorts of trinkets.

Speaker 110 He carries bones and

Speaker 64 tea leaves, and

Speaker 9 he's a bit different from some of the other vigil that I've talked with because he still believes the gods didn't leave, that they're still here, and that there's evidence of them being here.

Speaker 50 So we should keep our eyes out for anything that might seem like little bits of worship or or

Speaker 86 something of his stuff

Speaker 86 interesting

Speaker 86 I have the map here

Speaker 20 if this is the correct entrance we should see two torches lit across from each other shortly past the entrance

Speaker 104 You continue in through

Speaker 105 maybe about 30 or 40 feet stepping through you can see the glimmer of blue beyond like this slight right turn.

Speaker 51 And it's at that moment you see the scale of where the map is.

Speaker 54 And it is a little off.

Speaker 59 What looks small and truncated on that map is far longer and not quite a one-to-one for its hand-drawn purpose.

Speaker 109 If you wish to use that map,

Speaker 109 I would like for you to either make an instinct roll or a knowledge roll.

Speaker 89 The choice is yours.

Speaker 96 Would you like to do this, I will do a knowledge roll.

Speaker 96 Yeah, if you want, if you

Speaker 85 will spend a spend a hope to help with this.

Speaker 96 Is there any way?

Speaker 113 No, it doesn't really make sense.

Speaker 18 You're gonna roll for me?

Speaker 72 Ooh, yeah, I'll take it.

Speaker 64 Okay.

Speaker 18 That is going to be 11 plus 5, which is 16 plus 1 for my knowledge. So 17 with hope.

Speaker 120 17 with hope.

Speaker 52 Go ahead and take that hope.

Speaker 31 Pushing onward down

Speaker 51 the cavern, using the map what you can to your torchlight as you step across

Speaker 29 exposed, damp earth onto uncovered stone step,

Speaker 25 a cracked dais.

Speaker 23 and the surrounding rock and fallen rubble eventually giving way to structure to reinforced archways, some built recently, some uncovered from long ago.

Speaker 54 A patchwork of the old age and the new trying to push deeper into this forgotten

Speaker 114 interior.

Speaker 56 You feel fairly comfortable in following through, but the sounds grow more and more still the further in you go.

Speaker 127 There is no wind.

Speaker 114 There is no air.

Speaker 114 It is just quiet.

Speaker 108 And every shifting of armor, every fall of heavy boot, scraping on stone

Speaker 85 echoes ever so faintly.

Speaker 51 That's gonna scatter out

Speaker 35 one point, causing you to spook a bit.

Speaker 104 Check the map.

Speaker 59 Feeling fairly confident.

Speaker 20 We should reach a T intersection not far, in which we will need to take a right.

Speaker 48 You push in, and you find where there are two of these blue torches, and indeed like multiple tunnels that kind of fork off the different sections.

Speaker 109 You can see there's a central part of rock that kind of rises up a bit where one of the torches is fixed to.

Speaker 54 You see signs of tables and chairs, and this area was utilized as a kind of waypoint for the delvers or scholars as they were coming through.

Speaker 54 You can see there's like red crystals kind of glowing in the walls to just kind of like keep the area somewhat lit.

Speaker 105 Kind of like a fixed tube is some sort of an iron pick.

Speaker 35 And you look in here and

Speaker 105 just turn right.

Speaker 61 But you kind of step in and look around and the direction of where you would come from and where you would sit kind of seems to fade a little bit here.

Speaker 76 Are there footprints on the ground?

Speaker 64 Go ahead and make.

Speaker 103 Go ahead and make a knowledge roll for me.

Speaker 72 Right.

Speaker 50 Actually, knowledge or instinct on this one.

Speaker 100 Oh, that knowledge. Yeah.

Speaker 88 Cocked. Cocked.

Speaker 76 Alright, that's

Speaker 78 1890. That's 20 with hope.

Speaker 36 20 with hope. Very good.

Speaker 53 Looking around, you can see that there are many

Speaker 51 signs of boot scuffs and footfalls throughout this chamber.

Speaker 24 The heavy dust and dirt that has fallen either from the ceiling or from the progressive excavation.

Speaker 51 This area looks like it was tunnels that were between the various like sculpted and carved vault walkways.

Speaker 61 So this was a built intersection to try and connect disparate found portions of it.

Speaker 36 So it's a little rougher hewn.

Speaker 26 But you can see all manner of footsteps.

Speaker 116 You can also see what looks like signs of partially excavated bodies.

Speaker 87 I have low light also, so I can really see.

Speaker 122 Yeah,

Speaker 36 there are bits of bone, a skull emerging from a wall.

Speaker 59 It looks like figures that may have been part of the vault when it originally collapsed, that have since become part of the surroundings.

Speaker 61 Order them to see the skull kind of open its jaw, kind of half agape.

Speaker 72 You feel like a flash of heat.

Speaker 60 There's no wind.

Speaker 54 There's no source of it beyond the torch that you've sat back behind, behind, but there is a a warmth that seems to be omnipresent.

Speaker 70 Something's weird.

Speaker 65 Maybe we should

Speaker 65 just stay here for a second.

Speaker 51 You glance and see this there's those the red crystals that are in the wall kind of flicker, and you look about and you see one that's kind of affixed to the ceiling above

Speaker 55 that dislodges

Speaker 95 and falls.

Speaker 51 A slight flame flicker on it, and it

Speaker 40 hits the ground and spreads out.

Speaker 32 You step back instinctually.

Speaker 59 It's like an odd

Speaker 118 viscous, crimson, gelatinous

Speaker 56 cluster that kind of shimmies

Speaker 95 as it

Speaker 57 comes to rest.

Speaker 51 And you see just the gentlest lick of flame

Speaker 127 around it, and that warmth becomes hot.

Speaker 69 Staying, staying, staying where it is.

Speaker 7 Yeah, it's not moving. Is it in our path?

Speaker 52 It's in the room with you.

Speaker 72 And there are other of these gem crystal situations?

Speaker 1 There are multitudes of them affixed to the walls around.

Speaker 127 Yeah, they're just like red crystals settling.

Speaker 65 That one's not making any moves towards us, it's just sort of bubbling on the ground.

Speaker 61 It's just kind of sitting right there.

Speaker 77 That's my instinct here.

Speaker 65 Have I encountered one of these before?

Speaker 41 No.

Speaker 7 Controlled pace is okay.

Speaker 57 As you turn to the rest of them, you feel the strong heat towards your back and glance over the skull that was protruding from the side of the stone and earth.

Speaker 51 You can see now that red jelly is pushing through its sockets and out of its mouth.

Speaker 51 And flames are licking up the side of the bone as it shh.

Speaker 45 And as it does, it pulls the bones with it out.

Speaker 61 And you watch as it

Speaker 52 settles itself on the ground, this odd mixture of partially burned and charred bone kind of now slightly swirled within the skull kind of bobbing and floating.

Speaker 18 I like Snyks' idea. Maybe we run.

Speaker 64 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, let's run.

Speaker 18 Running's great. It's very scary.

Speaker 24 You go in which direction do you run?

Speaker 18 Do we follow the map or do we go backwards?

Speaker 132 Give me the map!

Speaker 66 How many ways are there in front of us?

Speaker 64 Two.

Speaker 24 We're in a team. Are they glad? Four to five?

Speaker 134 Four to five.

Speaker 30 They are definitely

Speaker 64 moving towards us, right? I'm gonna pick one.

Speaker 9 One creature is standing up that we've seen.

Speaker 83 I think I'm gonna

Speaker 86 give this thing a quick, uh, quick attack, maybe.

Speaker 78 So I'm going to, as we back up, I assume that we are backing up. Oh, yeah.

Speaker 100 I'm going to pull out a

Speaker 78 like foot and a half long needle and just very gently tap right in the tear duct of my eye, my larger eye.

Speaker 64 And what?

Speaker 78 Just a little bit of water comes out, and then I'm just going to fire it off and turn it into an ice spike directly into this into this.

Speaker 122 Go ahead and roll for me, please.

Speaker 8 Disgusting and

Speaker 64 awesome. awesome yeah

Speaker 64 that's uh yeah that's right

Speaker 78 oh yay um so i actually that's nice i can because this is a six i can uh burn a stress because i have that power woohoo uh that's um

Speaker 124 uh 16 with 16 uh 16 with oh thank you hope

Speaker 61 take that hope and that is a success go ahead and roll damage for that please thank you for that and uh damage for this thing is

Speaker 81 D6

Speaker 78 plus my preview.

Speaker 78 Four points of damage.

Speaker 61 Four points of damage, alrighty.

Speaker 20 August, I'm pretty sure everybody said we were going to run.

Speaker 76 We are. It doesn't mean I can't do this.

Speaker 28 So the ice spike

Speaker 116 shoots into it,

Speaker 116 and you watch it.

Speaker 119 The ice immediately turns to mist.

Speaker 44 The heat of whatever this is begins to burn brightly, and the ice liquefies and steams out of it.

Speaker 69 That was cool.

Speaker 51 You pull that way, and you turn around in the direction where you were planning to flee, and you watch as clusters of bones that have been reaching out of the wall

Speaker 52 the skeleton seem to clamber onto the ground and begin to reform.

Speaker 123 I'll be right back.

Speaker 64 We don't know.

Speaker 99 Age of Umbra Map.

Speaker 64 Umbra Map.

Speaker 37 Oh!

Speaker 37 Our tomb!

Speaker 37 Oh,

Speaker 85 what the shit!

Speaker 115 There are felled columns!

Speaker 1 Wonderful minis brought to us by our friends at Hero Forge.

Speaker 23 So, as you guys were moving in through probably

Speaker 35 this direction here,

Speaker 126 and the events were happening, and this began to back up back where you came in.

Speaker 36 That was where you had turned, and you were met with

Speaker 44 one of these dissembled skeletons.

Speaker 3 The rest of you,

Speaker 137 as you would cast your ice spike, whereabouts would you have been?

Speaker 88 Um, probably

Speaker 32 I'll say the source of the impact that you fired at would be about here.

Speaker 138 So I would have probably been uh where is where is Misty?

Speaker 97 Uh Misty is right here.

Speaker 124 Uh, Misty, where would you have been? Jesus.

Speaker 133 I feel like I

Speaker 20 feel like I'm sort of taking up the rear. Because I was sort of

Speaker 64 uh

Speaker 83 that's great.

Speaker 109 Like I'd be yeah, I was probably over there with these folks and you would have turned around to go this way.

Speaker 64 Definitely staying here.

Speaker 88 So I would have been about right there.

Speaker 64 Yeah, that's a huge

Speaker 41 stone feathers.

Speaker 30 I would probably be near Snicks.

Speaker 122 Alrighty.

Speaker 18 As we were both staring at a map.

Speaker 51 And how high is the

Speaker 44 other blob that had dropped down is right there.

Speaker 99 Oh boy, look at that thing with the arms and the skulls coming out of this.

Speaker 65 There's two blobs over there, and there's a skelly behind us.

Speaker 113 Correct. Oh boy.

Speaker 136 We're from it. We're good.

Speaker 64 What are you doing, Mark?

Speaker 5 Oh, boy.

Speaker 99 I would warm it up.

Speaker 83 I'd take the halberd out from behind the cloak as the furs and leather sort of move.

Speaker 9 And using familiar force, I'll sort of whip it around my head once and take a one-two stride, and I'm going to swing it right for the middle of that

Speaker 88 skelly

Speaker 99 blobby's movement.

Speaker 29 Heavy swing towards that one

Speaker 99 That is

Speaker 99 13 plus

Speaker 87 15 to hit 15 hits with hope alrighty

Speaker 115 And that is a 1d d10 plus 2 let's go

Speaker 9 That's nine points of damage and I'll actually also burn one of my prayer dice using my class feature to add three additional points of damage if I can't That's 12.

Speaker 83 12 points of damage.

Speaker 140 12 points of damage.

Speaker 127 That is going to be a severe wound to that one.

Speaker 130 So that's three points of damage. I'm sorry.

Speaker 115 I'm sorry.

Speaker 9 14 points of damage total.

Speaker 64 Gotcha. That's great.

Speaker 141 That's severe damage.

Speaker 142 Great. So as you

Speaker 93 strike with a Howard, it burns and sizzles and you carve it in two pieces.

Speaker 54 And it uses reaction to split.

Speaker 30 So there's two blobbies?

Speaker 51 There's now two smaller flaming blobs.

Speaker 64 What did you do? I made a mistake.

Speaker 37 What did you do?

Speaker 64 Mistakes were made.

Speaker 64 Where there was one, there was nothing.

Speaker 37 I'll see.

Speaker 115 I made a friend.

Speaker 98 Oh, boy.

Speaker 106 They immediately both

Speaker 126 retort against you.

Speaker 100 Both are doing strikes.

Speaker 113 First of all is going to be a 20, not a natural 20, but a 20 to hit you.

Speaker 26 And the second one is going to be a 9.

Speaker 9 That is my evasion.

Speaker 45 Alright, so yeah, so both hit hit you.

Speaker 131 The first one strikes you.

Speaker 29 Why are you so slow?

Speaker 32 You take three points of magic damage

Speaker 35 and become ignited.

Speaker 52 You are now on fire

Speaker 130 and will take

Speaker 35 damage each time you roll until you manage to

Speaker 126 extinguish it with a finesse roll.

Speaker 64 With a finesse roll.

Speaker 100 You or somebody else.

Speaker 19 This is so bad.

Speaker 64 This is so bad.

Speaker 13 got ice spikes.

Speaker 126 The one does five points of magic damage to you as you begin to burn still.

Speaker 9 I'm going to burn one of my armor slots to negate that last one and only take one hit point out of the two.

Speaker 56 You got it. Okay.

Speaker 131 All right, that finishes their reaction and their spotlight.

Speaker 62 Who's up next?

Speaker 67 How tall is the ceiling here?

Speaker 52 In here, it's about, let's say, 10 feet at most.

Speaker 129 It's not terribly high, except for at the top here, it's about 15 or so feet with only a five-foot

Speaker 60 clearance.

Speaker 78 So flying is a little iffy.

Speaker 66 For now.

Speaker 78 Anybody, or should I?

Speaker 65 When August attacked with his ice spike, it didn't split into two, right?

Speaker 60 No.

Speaker 65 So it's maybe when you just slash it.

Speaker 67 When you do dope-ass shit to it.

Speaker 64 Sure. That's what splits it.

Speaker 5 Yeah.

Speaker 18 As I turn around and I look and I see...

Speaker 20 see the undead.

Speaker 144 And I just say, be at rest, oh cursed one.

Speaker 98 And I charge forward and I'm going to attack the skelly.

Speaker 80 Yes, the skeleton.

Speaker 64 Oh, cursed one.

Speaker 93 All right, so you push past

Speaker 13 Snyx and immediately rush towards that skeleton. Go ahead.

Speaker 64 Palm him in the face.

Speaker 64 Go ahead and make your attack.

Speaker 133 It's bad.

Speaker 34 Seven with hope.

Speaker 25 Seven with hope.

Speaker 35 That is going to miss, but you take a hope.

Speaker 2 So you swing wide. It's meant to strike out towards the skeleton.

Speaker 32 You hit the side of its shoulder, which the arm just kind of breaks off and the bones shatter, but it doesn't seem affected by the fact that you just removed one of its arms.

Speaker 44 Its jaw hangs open, and it's going to rush towards you immediately.

Speaker 131 Skeleton warrior is going to strike out at you.

Speaker 30 Ooh, not great.

Speaker 27 That's a five.

Speaker 64 Miss, which is a miracle.

Speaker 24 Misses, I'm going to go ahead and spend a fear.

Speaker 117 That's true.

Speaker 130 That's amazing.

Speaker 101 I'm gonna spend a fear and spotlight this ooze.

Speaker 48 It's gonna

Speaker 48 come towards you, the one that you had ice-spiked rushing towards you, August.

Speaker 24 It's gonna go ahead and attempt to strike out you with its ignite action.

Speaker 68 Very nice.

Speaker 37 Oh, that's gonna be a 20 again.

Speaker 5 Wow.

Speaker 95 To hit you.

Speaker 88 That,

Speaker 64 you know,

Speaker 34 I'm

Speaker 9 thinking of reducing.

Speaker 34 Yeah.

Speaker 34 That's just to hit.

Speaker 64 I'll just take it.

Speaker 78 I'll take it for now. Okay.

Speaker 32 Five points of magic damage.

Speaker 122 And you also

Speaker 140 burst into flame.

Speaker 64 Oh, I mean, that's not a problem.

Speaker 134 Everybody's on fire.

Speaker 143 I hear the clattering of bones.

Speaker 64 This is terrible.

Speaker 109 As

Speaker 35 shifting around the corner on this side, awakened by the sound and anger of your presence, two other skeletons seem to

Speaker 24 reform and

Speaker 145 begin to shamble in your direction.

Speaker 103 Level one.

Speaker 82 Where are we trying to go?

Speaker 64 Remember the running thing?

Speaker 134 Yes. It was a good idea.

Speaker 64 It wasn't a bad idea. All right.

Speaker 20 All alright.

Speaker 64 I have an idea.

Speaker 20 I would like to get

Speaker 134 running.

Speaker 20 Well, it will help everyone run, I think.

Speaker 106 Oh, there you are.

Speaker 113 Close range of everybody.

Speaker 107 Except for these skeletons here.

Speaker 124 If you want to move within the skeletons as well, you can move up.

Speaker 36 Great. Here, and I think.

Speaker 127 Yeah, that'll get you in close range of both of them.

Speaker 64 Okay.

Speaker 20 I.

Speaker 20 I don't know this body well, but I know that it was made for music

Speaker 20 and was made for

Speaker 7 praise and worship.

Speaker 132 To worship and

Speaker 20 so, um, I am going to cast enrapture.

Speaker 89 Okay.

Speaker 20 And I am going to sort of unfurl all eight of my wings

Speaker 20 and

Speaker 20 everyone starts to hear

Speaker 20 it sounds like music but as the feathers sort of slowly start to move

Speaker 20 it almost sounds like like a wind instrument but also like chimes but

Speaker 20 in my favorite key B minor

Speaker 20 so it's a little sad Do you have a favorite key?

Speaker 64 I do. I love it.

Speaker 20 And it's like...

Speaker 20 As the feathers move, there just is this beautiful, entrancing music. And I'm going to try to get all of their attention.

Speaker 127 Is it a single target or is it all targets within close range?

Speaker 18 It is.

Speaker 37 Fuck!

Speaker 63 It's a single target.

Speaker 99 Uh-uh. Well, which of these targets are?

Speaker 20 It says target, and I thought it was a bunch of targets. That's okay.
Okay, so then let's do.

Speaker 20 Do we want where we want to go?

Speaker 72 Here?

Speaker 64 Away.

Speaker 20 Wherever it feels like there's an opening for us to go to, I would like to sort of draw them away from an opening.

Speaker 64 Yeah.

Speaker 78 That's not where we came from, correct?

Speaker 64 No, we came from here.

Speaker 139 So we're taking a left. There's red.

Speaker 64 Are we left or are we going blue?

Speaker 100 Red's over there.

Speaker 64 According to the map, we should be able to get a little bit of a data.

Speaker 20 Because we want to go blue?

Speaker 64 We don't know. We don't know yet.
We don't know.

Speaker 20 I mean, it seems like blue would be the choice. Let's go with blue.

Speaker 134 Well, how do we know which one it is?

Speaker 136 We have to follow.

Speaker 65 Just get rid of a guy and then we'll figure out where we're going at right after that.

Speaker 82 Well I'm just gonna I'm I'm just gonna try to make space.

Speaker 20 Gotcha. So I'm gonna do this.

Speaker 65 You're keeping space for this guy?

Speaker 20 I'm just like keeping space for him.

Speaker 68 Fair enough.

Speaker 135 And which one are you focusing on?

Speaker 82 I am focusing on one skeleton here.

Speaker 64 Yeah, so if we're going

Speaker 18 to

Speaker 20 if we're going this way,

Speaker 20 I want to attract those ones so that we can clear a path going that way.

Speaker 137 Okay, so this skeleton here?

Speaker 51 Yeah,

Speaker 64 let's go with that one.

Speaker 107 Sure.

Speaker 8 All right, then go ahead and roll.

Speaker 146 Spellcast against the target. Okay, okay.

Speaker 68 Which one am I gonna do? I'm gonna do this one.

Speaker 73 I'm gonna do these two.

Speaker 20 Are we gonna roll good? I don't know.

Speaker 64 Oh, they did. Let's go.

Speaker 75 So I rolled with hope.

Speaker 20 Okay. And that is a 20 total.

Speaker 71 No, wait.

Speaker 20 I am adding my

Speaker 69 presence as well.

Speaker 20 22 with hope.

Speaker 87 That's a success with hope. Take that hope.

Speaker 47 And what is the the effect of your ability?

Speaker 20 So they are

Speaker 20 enraptured with me, and they mark a stress.

Speaker 62 Okay, good to know.

Speaker 64 Alright, so you can mark a stress. That's calm.

Speaker 64 Looks it focuses on.

Speaker 18 Once per rest.

Speaker 68 Sorry, hold on a minute.

Speaker 20 They become ten. While enraptured, a target's attention is fixed on you, narrowing their field of view and drowning out any sound but your voice.

Speaker 20 Once per rest on a success, you can mark a stress to force the enraptured target target to mark a stress as well. Let's do it.

Speaker 103 Sure, mark a stress. It marked a stress as well.

Speaker 107 All stress.

Speaker 18 Matt, am I supposed to be adding my strength to my attacks?

Speaker 137 Not unless you have an ability that lets you.

Speaker 34 Okay, okay.

Speaker 51 There are some valor cards that we can do though.

Speaker 69 Okay.

Speaker 75 It just says melee. Strength.

Speaker 13 Let me get this straight.

Speaker 137 Strength is what you get to on the attack wall.

Speaker 132 You're trying to draw them closer to you?

Speaker 64 Yeah.

Speaker 20 They're just skeletons. I'm much bigger than them.

Speaker 134 Oh, God.

Speaker 65 Can I spend my turn looking at the map and trying to figure out the way out of here?

Speaker 130 Yes, you may.

Speaker 53 You can go ahead and make a knowledge or instinct roll to see where on the map you've been and where you are currently hoping to go.

Speaker 65 I will use

Speaker 65 an instinct roll, and I'm going to use my Ridgeborne

Speaker 65 ability steady. You have advantage on rolls to traverse dangerous

Speaker 65 environments, navigate harsh environments. That would be this, right?

Speaker 64 Well, it's pretty harsh. This is harsh rock.

Speaker 65 And to give myself a bonus, I am going to use my experience while traveled. I've looked at maps, some of them better than others.

Speaker 32 You're Richborn, you're from the mountainous areas, and this is actually in a mountain.

Speaker 64 So this all checks out.

Speaker 65 Okay, okay, so I've got all kinds of advantage and all kinds of stuff going on here.

Speaker 72 Oh, God.

Speaker 19 You just shorted out

Speaker 91 13 with with fear.

Speaker 115 No, no. I'm going to use my last prayer dice to give you plus four to that.

Speaker 34 Ooh.

Speaker 65 17 with fear.

Speaker 130 17 with fear.

Speaker 64 Okay.

Speaker 82 Nice. That's good.

Speaker 63 That's

Speaker 64 slow drag.

Speaker 106 You looking at the map, you realize...

Speaker 134 It was upside down!

Speaker 37 I was following the instructions.

Speaker 146 Indeed, you came in at an odd angle the way the first entrance was.

Speaker 145 The path you probably want to take that is the shortest distance marked on there is this path.

Speaker 32 where the blue flames are leading you it's the blue flames

Speaker 64 that's what i said i say in between just being en flamber who's on the hood movie

Speaker 37 oh god he's still on fire

Speaker 20 to put his fire

Speaker 115 if you want to move if you want to move over him

Speaker 24 yeah if you want to immediately go again and then try and move over to put out his flame you can try it i i can also i can also throw yeah a ice bike right next to

Speaker 100 Travi. Yeah, that was just fear.

Speaker 65 Is it your go, though? It is, though.

Speaker 130 Okay. So, I'm saying, when it comes back, you can go ahead and drop it if you want.

Speaker 64 I'm gonna wait. I'm gonna

Speaker 68 wait.

Speaker 62 Well, on my end, the two

Speaker 35 tiny oozes that have now been split from you are going to shore up

Speaker 103 against you.

Speaker 99 It's gonna be a 14 to hit you, yes,

Speaker 35 and a 3 to hit you.

Speaker 7 Misses.

Speaker 50 All right, so with that, you take two points of magic damage as it lashes out at you.

Speaker 33 And then

Speaker 105 I'm going to go ahead and spend a fear on this end.

Speaker 64 Two.

Speaker 147 Too much.

Speaker 51 I'm going to say the skeleton is going to go ahead and move up towards you.

Speaker 62 And it's going to go ahead and take a swipe at you.

Speaker 125 Misty.

Speaker 101 That's going to be

Speaker 52 a 10 to hit you?

Speaker 8 No, it does not.

Speaker 68 It misses you?

Speaker 37 It does.

Speaker 53 It just goes wide on you.

Speaker 88 That's my...

Speaker 79 What's your evasion? Evasion. 11.

Speaker 68 Then yeah, it just

Speaker 68 went.

Speaker 4 So it swings wide and you see it coming, you just kind of step out of the way.

Speaker 128 Your wing kind of bats it away and just goes completely off center from its original strike course and

Speaker 24 just strikes out and hits nothing to the left of you.

Speaker 4 I'm going to spend one more fear to let this one, who is enraptured by you, to rush up and jump on top and attempt to strike at you with a rusty spear that it's pulled out from the nearby walls.

Speaker 126 Sort of put my hands up.

Speaker 99 It's gonna be a three.

Speaker 24 So you just put your hands up, and whether it be through divine prominence of this stone body's original purpose, or through a clumsy-ass, barely summoned skeleton from the nearby ruins, it just does not find purchase upon your body with its weapon, and you are saved in the moment.

Speaker 13 You know, I'm gonna

Speaker 113 let that ride for now.

Speaker 126 You guys can take your

Speaker 138 I'm going to put an Ice Spike right

Speaker 78 next to Idol, and if there's time, just because I can actually just summon them, and

Speaker 78 they actually don't have to be attack.

Speaker 64 It's not just an attack spell.

Speaker 68 You can just make these ice spikes.

Speaker 145 So you're shooting him with an ice spike?

Speaker 78 No, I'm putting one right next to him.

Speaker 99 Next to

Speaker 99 Idol.

Speaker 74 So what it says is

Speaker 138 the ice spike.

Speaker 78 Make a spellcast will summon a large ice spike with far range.

Speaker 79 If you use it as a weapon, make a.

Speaker 78 So assume that I'm not using it as a weapon. I'm just putting ice that he can hopefully hug to help.

Speaker 51 Got you.

Speaker 107 I see what you're doing.

Speaker 100 Cuddle the spike. Okay.
Cuddle the spike.

Speaker 146 So yeah. So go ahead and roll a spellcast wolf.

Speaker 49 All right.

Speaker 64 That's a giant ice agree.

Speaker 13 That's.

Speaker 98 Can you make it look like a rocket pop?

Speaker 78 That was the plan.

Speaker 64 All right.

Speaker 138 That's a

Speaker 78 24 with fear.

Speaker 145 That is a success, and I'll take a fear.

Speaker 51 Also, because you are also on fire, as you're summoning this, the flames burn you for two points of magic damage.

Speaker 78 Oh, I'll spend an armor to lower that to one.

Speaker 1 Two points. Well, two points of magic damage.

Speaker 100 Oh, two points? Yeah, I'll just take it.

Speaker 130 Yeah, so you take another hit point.

Speaker 43 Alrighty.

Speaker 27 You conjure this ice spike and

Speaker 92 send it. It's a heavy cast, too.

Speaker 24 This massive elongated pike of just like conjured icicle death, more or less.

Speaker 29 Sticks in the ground and jams about a foot into the earth and a kind of exposed stone to the ground next to you.

Speaker 32 You kind of pull back, and there's about a foot and a half of it still sticking out.

Speaker 24 That like cold mist and air kind of around you.

Speaker 117 Is he still on fire or is he okay?

Speaker 64 Actually, I'm going to burn it.

Speaker 69 No, he's still going to make that fire.

Speaker 4 Well, the ice doesn't get rid of it.

Speaker 101 He still has to do something to get rid of it.

Speaker 6 Cool.

Speaker 25 But that is there.

Speaker 27 What I'll do is

Speaker 24 I'll say if you want to use a finesse roll to get rid of this, or somebody does in the proximity, it'll give you advantage because of the ice proximity, too.

Speaker 64 Let's do that.

Speaker 20 May I assist and help with trying to flatten my wings?

Speaker 101 Sure, if you'd like to, if you want to spend the hope to give him an extra.

Speaker 25 Well, here's the thing.

Speaker 32 He already has advantage because of the ice bike.

Speaker 35 So you can either make the finesse roll yourself to put it out on him or he already has advantage.

Speaker 9 The Vengeance Design, right? Correct.

Speaker 107 Okay.

Speaker 64 Yeah.

Speaker 80 Double H speed.

Speaker 64 Look at that.

Speaker 13 Stop it. Boom.
Don't stop it.

Speaker 115 All right. So you gain a hope and hear stress if you have it.

Speaker 4 The flames are put out.

Speaker 27 And I'll say, as you were kind of flapping your wings while holding the skeletons attention,

Speaker 48 it pulls up the icy misp around this icicle as it begins to melt. You draw it up and

Speaker 24 you kind of reach down and find the flames cast off your body.

Speaker 64 Thank you.

Speaker 18 I'm going to take another swing at this guy in front of me.

Speaker 30 Go for it.

Speaker 72 Come on. Come on.

Speaker 111 Okay, this is better.

Speaker 18 And 10 plus

Speaker 18 14 with fear.

Speaker 130 14 with fear. That does hit.

Speaker 144 But that works.

Speaker 18 And then it can roll 2d10 and take the highest.

Speaker 64 Ooh, that is a 10 baby.

Speaker 18 So 13 damage to this to this boy.

Speaker 35 13 damage. That is going to be a severe wound.

Speaker 86 This skeleton is

Speaker 145 scattered into a cluster of shattered bone pieces

Speaker 48 you hear them like sprinkle and bounce off the nearby stone walls from just the sheer volume of the impact uh

Speaker 37 brother

Speaker 32 i'm gonna haul ass towards this blue uh torch that we're gonna just move so you can move close distance or you can move far distance and make an agility roll to see if you can make the the run what do you want to do

Speaker 64 Let's make a roll.

Speaker 63 Why not?

Speaker 99 So go ahead and roll an agility roll for me, please.

Speaker 18 What's What's stopping me is if I trip and

Speaker 18 drop rolls, but let's see. Let's see.

Speaker 18 This is so fun.

Speaker 18 Yeah, that's going to be a six total. A six total with fear.

Speaker 45 A six with fear.

Speaker 48 You go darting this way, and immediately your shin hits that box on the side.

Speaker 32 There's a crate set with like pickaxes and excavating material.

Speaker 100 You're like,

Speaker 13 immediately, like your

Speaker 25 knee cap pops out of the side a little bit.

Speaker 13 You're like, oh,

Speaker 24 I go ahead and mark a stress on that, and you only make half the distance.

Speaker 130 That's okay.

Speaker 36 That's fair.

Speaker 24 I will take that extra fear as it comes back to me.

Speaker 93 The two oozes that are still on the ground are...

Speaker 48 Yep, and they will attempt to reignite you as they reach out.

Speaker 99 Those are still there, y'all.

Speaker 25 And they're still very fire-centric.

Speaker 24 That's going to be eight to hit you.

Speaker 68 Misses.

Speaker 99 That misses your evasion?

Speaker 64 It does. Okay.

Speaker 8 Evasion is nine.

Speaker 25 Other one, that's going to be a four.

Speaker 99 So they rolled like absolute dog shit that round.

Speaker 130 Can I but I will spend a few immediately to spotlight this one that's sitting behind where you are trying looking at the map and you feel this like heated growth behind you as it's gonna come at you for that's gonna be a 16 to hit you.

Speaker 65 Oh, my evasion is 13.

Speaker 25 That hits.

Speaker 32 That hits you.

Speaker 97 The edge of the map begins to burn.

Speaker 25 No, no, no. Fire on the side.

Speaker 101 You are also beginning to burn as you are ignited on flame next to your fun spider companion August there.

Speaker 46 You do take

Speaker 31 three points of magic damage from the flame.

Speaker 65 Okay, that's not fun.

Speaker 64 Ouch. And I'm gonna

Speaker 130 spend another few

Speaker 32 and I'm gonna spotlight this skeleton here that's focused on you.

Speaker 106 You've enraptured it and it is now entirely driven to destroy this statue, this beautiful relic of an age past that reminds it of a time that maybe it was not as corrupt and pulled from its dead space.

Speaker 32 It has no conscious memory.

Speaker 1 It is a skeleton raised by anchantic power.

Speaker 103 It just wants to destroy you.

Speaker 45 It is going to go ahead and come at you.

Speaker 24 That is going to be an 11 hit?

Speaker 69 Just hits. That hits.
Okay.

Speaker 45 So you take from this skeleton warrior as it strikes out at you

Speaker 103 three points of physical damage.

Speaker 62 Okay.

Speaker 130 I'm rolling real bad on some of these damage rolls.

Speaker 64 Which is good for you. Yep.

Speaker 41 And

Speaker 146 I'm going to hold the rest of my fear.

Speaker 51 Who wants to go?

Speaker 100 I would like to be put out.

Speaker 78 If anyone wants to help with that,

Speaker 78 I'm just going to roll. What is it?

Speaker 100 It's that

Speaker 64 finesse roll. It's a finesse roll, yes.

Speaker 78 I'm going to roll a finesse roll if anyone wants to

Speaker 69 help.

Speaker 66 We're over there, we're both on fire. Yep.

Speaker 137 Within

Speaker 52 an un

Speaker 32 no, a

Speaker 137 slightly damaged ooze there that you struck originally.

Speaker 64 All right, here we go. Follow August with a

Speaker 89 helper strike.

Speaker 122 Let's go.

Speaker 34 That's

Speaker 78 that's a 15 with fear.

Speaker 97 15 with fear? 15 is a success.

Speaker 113 So you are no longer

Speaker 60 a flame.

Speaker 122 However, as you finish...

Speaker 64 Oh, that was you right.

Speaker 62 I'll pass this right over to you then. No!

Speaker 103 You managed to pat out the fire,

Speaker 32 and just as you finish that process of doing so, brother, you can move on your turn as well, if you've wanted to on your turn.

Speaker 88 I was hoping to

Speaker 88 get the fuck out of here.

Speaker 64 Yeah.

Speaker 30 I was hoping to take flight.

Speaker 64 TFO.

Speaker 113 Take flight.

Speaker 65 okay as in fly

Speaker 78 so i will yeah you're a spider who flies so i i kind of shift my coat a little bit and tap

Speaker 78 and you see two

Speaker 78 moth wings oh come out of my back and if you're paying close attention Someone has clearly surgically implanted a living giant moth into my spinal cord, which is a completely separate entity, clearly with its own little mouth and head that is just bound there.

Speaker 64 It's very silent.

Speaker 64 You're welcome.

Speaker 20 That is so cool.

Speaker 64 Does everybody have wings?

Speaker 13 My only phobia. I hate you.

Speaker 32 I will, I will use that dice to commentate you as flying, but you can get about that far.

Speaker 29 And then, as that turn ends, it comes to me.

Speaker 32 As everyone's charging that way, you have the mat that's now slightly burning. You have a burning ooze that is focused on you from behind.

Speaker 32 But I'm going to go ahead and activate and come at you immediately.

Speaker 156 That's going to be a

Speaker 130 11 to hit.

Speaker 65 No, my evasion is 13.

Speaker 52 Oh, so it misses you entirely.

Speaker 64 I'm running around with my hair on fire.

Speaker 51 Things back to you guys. Who wants to go?

Speaker 9 I'm going to take my Halberd, and because it's a very close weapon, I'm going to activate Spirit Weapon,

Speaker 9 and it can fly from my hand to attack an adversary within close range and then return to me.

Speaker 9 But I'm going to mark a stress and have it attack an additional target with the same attack roll and try to hit both of those blobs.

Speaker 115 This is fucking giving me grief, man.

Speaker 130 You got it.

Speaker 93 So go ahead and make that attack roll.

Speaker 34 Hey!

Speaker 64 Green giant.

Speaker 9 That's 17 with fear.

Speaker 130 17 with fear. That definitely hits.

Speaker 62 So go ahead and roll damage.

Speaker 68 KD10 plus 2, 8, 10, 10 points of physical damage.

Speaker 48 As you describe how you spin this halberd and chuck it to slash through both and destroy both of these oozes.

Speaker 9 I spin the halberd above my head again, but I open my palm and the staff starts to spin

Speaker 9 right on the center and I'll throw it like I'm throwing a frisbee and you see it go

Speaker 99 woof, and comes back around.

Speaker 79 I catch it and spin it, and then tuck it under my arm.

Speaker 24 It strikes part of the outer edge of that pillar, and like as it impacts, like holy sparks

Speaker 130 screen off of it before you catch it and stuff the momentum in your hand, both of those flaming oozes

Speaker 137 just dissipate onto the stonework and vanish.

Speaker 64 The heat now absolved.

Speaker 99 They can be cut!

Speaker 134 We gotta go!

Speaker 9 And I'll take off running towards the blue lantern.

Speaker 62 Full far run or just a part run?

Speaker 99 I'll do the full far run and make an adjustment.

Speaker 62 Make an adjuvant, please.

Speaker 85 Badass. 12, 17, plus.

Speaker 9 20, dirty 20, with hope.

Speaker 145 With hope, so take that hope, and you manage to go the full distance up to here.

Speaker 5 Far range,

Speaker 48 which will get you actually a little further into there.

Speaker 64 He's going for speed.

Speaker 23 In the tunnel, heading that direction.

Speaker 64 Awesome.

Speaker 64 All alone!

Speaker 25 Finishing your go.

Speaker 32 Since it's now come towards you a secondary time and you've dodged out of the way, it's going to see you flashing this light of this halberd and destroying the other ooze.

Speaker 51 It turns its attention just to see you vanish around the corner and instead it's going to lunge towards the closest target in its sight, which is you, Brixton.

Speaker 93 It's going to go ahead and come at you for a 14 to hit.

Speaker 64 That definitely hits. All right.

Speaker 30 The flaming ooze comes out for five points of magic damage.

Speaker 8 Okay. And you are ignited.

Speaker 18 Can I use my armor to, if I don't take any damage, do I not catch flame?

Speaker 99 I'll say yeah.

Speaker 18 Okay, I am going to use an armor point to knock that down to no damage.

Speaker 121 Then you are not ignited.

Speaker 45 It strings out towards you, and you just kind of shrug off your long collected relic of armor.

Speaker 18 You quite literally, almost like a chef that can hold a cast iron pan, you see me parry it with an open palm,

Speaker 18 which

Speaker 18 affects me none.

Speaker 18 Thanks to handling flame my whole life.

Speaker 61 Yeah, I'll allow that.

Speaker 64 Parry your weapon.

Speaker 83 It affects me none.

Speaker 18 It affects me, none. And then, can I take, since I'm here and I'm fighting it, can I take and

Speaker 18 I'm gonna go ahead and I don't wanna slice it, but I do want to like take my great sword and spin it around and almost use like the butt, like the hilt of my sword to see if I can just like bludgeon this thing.

Speaker 87 Sure, go for it.

Speaker 18 Almost like damping down the flame. Roll the attack.

Speaker 18 Okay, and then may I, while using my sword,

Speaker 64 may I,

Speaker 18 I want to use one of my Orderborn dedicated virtues

Speaker 18 where I can have three sayings or values that are instilled upon me.

Speaker 18 And once per rest, I don't know if it's short rest or long rest, I can describe how I'm embodying one of these principles and use a D20 as my hope die.

Speaker 20 So I would like to use the strongest steel must first be tempered by the flame.

Speaker 128 Given the heated, literally heated exchange that the source of fire has been amongst your friends, you see flicker in your eyes the deepest fire of the sacred pyre that keeps Desperlock safe and held.

Speaker 24 And in that moment of inspiration, take your strike.

Speaker 103 Amazing.

Speaker 18 Hear me whisper it.

Speaker 64 Sacred pyre.

Speaker 37 Oh, that's amazing.

Speaker 18 I rolled a 19 on my hope die.

Speaker 18 So that's going to be

Speaker 18 23 plus 2 to my strength, so 25 total.

Speaker 52 That definitely hits.

Speaker 113 Go ahead and roll damage.

Speaker 78 Murder.

Speaker 18 Great. I will take take that 8, 9, 10, 11 total.

Speaker 64 11 total. 11 damage.
Damn.

Speaker 24 That's going to be a severe on that one.

Speaker 93 All right. It is.

Speaker 48 You strike it with the butt of your sword and it's

Speaker 106 it quivers angrily.

Speaker 24 You kind of almost like pull the flame from it for a moment, almost like you're siphoning the essence of the sacred pyre.

Speaker 31 Maybe that's just your imagination. It looked cool in the moonlight.

Speaker 124 I'm going to use a fear for its reaction to go ahead and split

Speaker 140 into two ones. And I'll just use a secondary one here.

Speaker 25 It's a little bit smaller, but they're both barely holding on at this point.

Speaker 64 They split into two.

Speaker 99 They're both like

Speaker 32 spotlights still on you guys.

Speaker 24 So, do you want to keep running? Or?

Speaker 65 Oh, you can do whatever you want.

Speaker 100 Go, you go.

Speaker 65 I just want to put out the fire.

Speaker 100 I was about to help anyway, so I can

Speaker 100 before you do, yeah, I can throw a spike down for you.

Speaker 78 Oh, nice.

Speaker 65 I mean, there seems to be like little green puddles everywhere, or is that just the shininess of the map?

Speaker 99 Yeah,

Speaker 93 you are You are exploding.

Speaker 27 No, I will say that there are damp elements of like

Speaker 51 water and groundwater that's like seeped through and caused small puddles.

Speaker 65 I'm going to jam the map into one of those puddles to try to put it out.

Speaker 130 You put out the map without an issue.

Speaker 65 And then try to

Speaker 37 roll around and just splash on the bottom. I'm not firing while you're rolling around.

Speaker 25 So go ahead and make a finess roll for me to see if you can put out the flame.

Speaker 115 Okay, let's do it.

Speaker 65 13 with hope.

Speaker 62 13 with hope is not going to succeed.

Speaker 83 What?

Speaker 158 It's not going to succeed. But I get a hope.

Speaker 49 You get a hope, but you also take

Speaker 137 three points of magic damage as the fire continues to burn you as you're rolling on the ground.

Speaker 140 Stop, drop, and roll.

Speaker 98 Not working against this. It's not working against this.

Speaker 65 Do I still have movement or is that

Speaker 65 it for this turn?

Speaker 35 So you can move, but then the spotlight's going to come back.

Speaker 65 Sure, I'm going to do what I do best, and I'm just going to run.

Speaker 65 I'm going to run this way, though.

Speaker 69 Okay. Towards the bottom.

Speaker 36 So you can get there. That's that.

Speaker 85 Great.

Speaker 65 Away from danger, I hope.

Speaker 64 Alright.

Speaker 32 Now, spotlight's back to me.

Speaker 35 I'm gonna go ahead and...

Speaker 32 One of the other skeleton aside here is that's still up against you.

Speaker 52 The other one is just missing, and Todd's gonna go ahead and try and come at you with like this gnarly-looking axe, Misty.

Speaker 29 And that's gonna be a 16 to hit.

Speaker 87 Does that hit you?

Speaker 50 All right, for that, Misty, you take four points of physical damage. The axe...

Speaker 23 Impacts in your forearms as you guard it.

Speaker 18 I am your shield. Oh.
I'm near Misty. You

Speaker 63 Okay.

Speaker 32 So, you want to go ahead and step in and take that blow?

Speaker 18 Yeah, emboldened by the flame

Speaker 18 and probably my imagination.

Speaker 41 See my flaming hand.

Speaker 20 I'm just going to reach in front.

Speaker 4 Yeah, as the swing comes down, all of a sudden out of nowhere, Brixton's hand grabs the axe and pulls it down onto her.

Speaker 51 You take four points of physical damage instead. Oh!

Speaker 18 I will, that's okay. I'm going to use an armor to negate that.

Speaker 127 You got it.

Speaker 64 all righty Thank you

Speaker 69 That was so kind you must be protected.

Speaker 130 It is now back to you

Speaker 78 I'm actually finally gonna take that ice spike and drop it

Speaker 78 Next to

Speaker 36 okay, go ahead and roll for spell time making my little spell time

Speaker 88 That's ooh, that's two nines.

Speaker 25 Hey, dang, you guys are critting up a storm.

Speaker 34 This is wild.

Speaker 25 All right, so clear that stress and take that hope.

Speaker 135 And that strikes immediately next to you.

Speaker 145 You will get advantage on your next attempt to alleviate that flame.

Speaker 130 Do you want to stay put or do you want to move?

Speaker 78 Well, is anybody in

Speaker 78 melee with me or no?

Speaker 99 Currently, no.

Speaker 130 You are then very close to that skeleton in the top, but

Speaker 78 I'm going to start rolling down this way. I'm not going to go double speed because I want to be able to help out with combat.

Speaker 78 But yeah, I'm still flying and I'm just going to keep an eye on everyone because I'm going to start trying to put you up here.

Speaker 36 I'm keeping an eye on things perfection.

Speaker 122 That'll work.

Speaker 137 Alrighty, so with you there,

Speaker 64 are you trying to put it?

Speaker 65 I'm gonna try one more time to hug the ice spike and see if it can help release.

Speaker 51 Have advantage because of the ice spike's proximity.

Speaker 52 Great.

Speaker 65 18, 19 with fear.

Speaker 60 With fear, I'll take that.

Speaker 43 Fear, but you are no longer engulfed in the ooze's flame.

Speaker 99 Prodding my eye over and over again with this buddy meebles.

Speaker 65 Thank you, Spider-Man.

Speaker 64 Everyone gets one.

Speaker 36 You can move

Speaker 88 right there.

Speaker 131 At that distance around the corner, if you're still trying to

Speaker 142 coming back to me,

Speaker 124 this overall skeleton up top is going to try and they're trying to carve away at this statue that's drawn their attention, and either they continue to miss or somebody else keeps getting in the way.

Speaker 22 Whatever necrotic force has pushed them to this semi-state of terrorizing consciousness, they are driven to try and chisel away at you.

Speaker 24 The The one on top is going to go ahead and strike at you.

Speaker 137 That's going to be 10 to hit you.

Speaker 64 Does not hit? That misses.

Speaker 101 I'm going to spend a fear that I just got to have the other one strike at you.

Speaker 30 Same role.

Speaker 37 Wow.

Speaker 27 I'm going to step one more fear. Yeah.

Speaker 33 And then,

Speaker 32 because they've both been activated this turn, they don't have relentless. I can't activate them again.

Speaker 141 This ooze is going to

Speaker 126 slip through at the top and is going to attempt to strike at you from behind.

Speaker 115 that's a seven. Say it.

Speaker 45 I'm gonna leave it at that.

Speaker 37 You could just spend one more fear.

Speaker 62 I'm okay.

Speaker 20 Is everybody out of the vicinity? Is Idol

Speaker 20 making his way down?

Speaker 41 Oh, he's already down there.

Speaker 32 Yeah, most everyone's there.

Speaker 93 It's just behind me.

Speaker 150 I'm right behind.

Speaker 156 You're right behind. Ever

Speaker 51 Misty. The two of you kind of hold on three at the moment.

Speaker 68 All right.

Speaker 41 Shall we run?

Speaker 20 Let's run. Okay, I'm gonna try to step down and start trying to run towards the a full run or just through close distance?

Speaker 75 Just close distance. Okay.

Speaker 20 Close the distance.

Speaker 137 Okay. You wanna do anything else on your turn?

Speaker 20 I don't think so.

Speaker 35 If you want to roll, if you wanna go to a far distance, you can make an agility check if you'd like to.

Speaker 137 See if you can do it.

Speaker 147 Up to you.

Speaker 75 Sure.

Speaker 64 I'll love it. Why not? Let's go.
Let's do it.

Speaker 109 So you would be here.

Speaker 20 Go ahead and roll into it. Nothing to add.
So, oh, well.

Speaker 20 Nine with hope.

Speaker 35 Nine with hope. That's not going to succeed, unfortunately.

Speaker 1 The terrain here is a little more difficult.

Speaker 101 So you only get a close distance at the end.

Speaker 35 You get a hope, but that brings it back to me.

Speaker 32 The two slimes that are still up there,

Speaker 35 the one skeleton that's focused on you at this point.

Speaker 62 I'm going to go ahead and do that.

Speaker 141 This skeleton, it's going to take a chunk out of you.

Speaker 88 Yeah, that's okay.

Speaker 4 It wants to so badly.

Speaker 24 I'm going to go ahead and activate it.

Speaker 130 Coming at you. There we go.

Speaker 23 That's going to be a 13 to hit.

Speaker 69 It hits.

Speaker 34 Okay.

Speaker 37 Okay.

Speaker 157 The skeleton hits you for three points of physical damage.

Speaker 64 And it feels vindicated.

Speaker 13 I'm going to use an armor.

Speaker 64 I'm so excited.

Speaker 20 I'm going to use an armor to get rid of it.

Speaker 49 It feels dejected.

Speaker 39 Hate statues now.

Speaker 130 And I'm just going to get rid of that.

Speaker 100 Questions, it's all all present.

Speaker 18 You said these

Speaker 18 oozes are barely hanging on that I've been carrying.

Speaker 26 Cloven oozes.

Speaker 121 What do you want to do?

Speaker 144 I tell Misty, I'm right behind you.

Speaker 18 I'm gonna swing at them and I'm just gonna try.

Speaker 18 I'm gonna pick one. I might do a whirlwind if it succeeds.

Speaker 99 Let's go.

Speaker 18 Please fucking work.

Speaker 18 Okay.

Speaker 18 And it's an 11 to hit with hope.

Speaker 64 That hits.

Speaker 37 Okay.

Speaker 37 Okay.

Speaker 18 I'm going to spin a hope into a whirlwind and

Speaker 18 hit everything within my range.

Speaker 20 Wait, but you just got a hope.

Speaker 64 Because you rolled with a break.

Speaker 136 I rolled with a hope.

Speaker 19 I keep that.

Speaker 64 Yep.

Speaker 62 You're welcome, girl. All right, so how much damage?

Speaker 18 So that will be

Speaker 18 icky. Hopefully, it's enough, though.
Five damage for both.

Speaker 109 Five damage does one hit point to both of them.

Speaker 127 As you carve through

Speaker 134 Yes

Speaker 18 Both of the oozes are splattered against the rocks their flames subsiding and vanishing great and now I follow after Misty.

Speaker 24 Okay. Are you going for a full far sprint?

Speaker 18 You know after I ate shit last time I'm gonna keep it keep it calm and keep it smooth. I'm feeling like a badass.

Speaker 64 Yeah. Okay.

Speaker 78 Since we're there, I'm gonna take my turn since well, no, you're you do you wanna I'm running.

Speaker 65 Yeah, do you wanna yeah do do what you do.

Speaker 78 I was just gonna throw an ice spike at that very tall skeleton that's headed to the bottom.

Speaker 87 Let's go.

Speaker 110 Yeah.

Speaker 138 That's 14 with hope.

Speaker 49 All right. Let's take that hope.

Speaker 25 That's a success.

Speaker 8 Go ahead and roll damage.

Speaker 37 All right.

Speaker 112 Ice spike is a d6.

Speaker 74 That's a four.

Speaker 35 A four.

Speaker 145 That's going to be two hit points, which is enough to shatter it.

Speaker 113 Let's go.

Speaker 62 That skeleton gets blown apart.

Speaker 88 And now I'm flying back.

Speaker 124 We'll say at this point, as you all begin to flee into here, the speed of the skeleton is not quite enough to keep up.

Speaker 52 And as you begin to vanish down, further, further, down that path that you had noticed on the map, you can no longer hear the skittering of bone, just the silence of the interior cave.

Speaker 159 I don't mean to interrupt your meal, but I love Geico's fast and friendly claim service.

Speaker 9 Okay, so dripping goo that catches things on fire.

Speaker 83 Probably the worst thing we're gonna encounter.

Speaker 64 Yeah.

Speaker 9 Why would you say something like that?

Speaker 64 That's it.

Speaker 20 That's the scariest part.

Speaker 94 No, no, he's being sarcastic. Yeah.

Speaker 76 Oh, don't listen, Andy.

Speaker 9 That human thing where the humor is implied, but I understand it's this is the same type of thing.

Speaker 20 The lying is funny.

Speaker 69 Yes. Okay.

Speaker 64 Oh, boy.

Speaker 65 Brixton, you

Speaker 64 were very powerful back then.

Speaker 7 Oh, my goodness, you're a warrior.

Speaker 132 A true warrior.

Speaker 65 I thought that you just were a f a fire keeper.

Speaker 20 Yes, you see i um

Speaker 20 i've been tending to the flame for about 15 years now

Speaker 20 but

Speaker 75 it gets maddening

Speaker 20 doing the same thing day in day out year after year

Speaker 20 i don't actually know how much time i've spent at the top of that tower but a handful of years ago

Speaker 20 curiosity got the best of me

Speaker 20 So I made friends with a few of the Delvers and

Speaker 9 they let me sneak sneak on by.

Speaker 65 Sneak on by?

Speaker 65 Like to train with them?

Speaker 20 No, just

Speaker 64 take walks.

Speaker 77 Outside the wall?

Speaker 20 Outside the wall in the vaults. Wow.

Speaker 20 I would do it off hours when everyone else was asleeping.

Speaker 63 One day,

Speaker 20 when I came through here, you know, I started off small. 100 meters at first,

Speaker 20 200 meters, 300 meters.

Speaker 20 I was quite the coward when I first came down.

Speaker 20 But over time, I was more and more boldened.

Speaker 20 The flame had spoke to me.

Speaker 64 The pyre.

Speaker 20 And then I came across a body.

Speaker 20 A skeleton.

Speaker 20 And it had this armor. Oh.

Speaker 20 And.

Speaker 20 I don't know, something inside her.

Speaker 20 It was almost as if

Speaker 20 the skeleton's eyes lit up with flame and it called to me and

Speaker 64 I knew

Speaker 20 this armor was meant for me.

Speaker 20 This was to be my new calling.

Speaker 20 This was my destiny.

Speaker 84 This just happened right now.

Speaker 83 What

Speaker 76 the skeleton and the armor?

Speaker 85 Are you talking about what just happened?

Speaker 20 No, no, no.

Speaker 6 This was not that long ago,

Speaker 20 a handful of months at most. I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 85 So, it happened twice.

Speaker 76 This is the second set of skeletons on fire that

Speaker 65 the one she's talking about was dead.

Speaker 9 Do I think she's telling us the entire truth about how she got that armor?

Speaker 31 Uh, if you want to make an instinct roll, you can make an advantage on detecting

Speaker 83 phase

Speaker 64 a present role.

Speaker 84 Sure, it just seems like a weird coincidence, is all I'm saying.

Speaker 84 That one's kind of cocked.

Speaker 121 I'll say yours is a reaction roll, so

Speaker 127 you don't get hope or fear on this one, but it's a reaction roll.

Speaker 121 Okay.

Speaker 83 15 with hope.

Speaker 18 Okay, I definitely did not roll that.

Speaker 111 I rolled a 11.

Speaker 88 Okay. Um.

Speaker 39 So you can take a hope and express what he senses about your presentation.

Speaker 18 What she's saying

Speaker 18 she believes at least.

Speaker 64 I don't know.

Speaker 144 Maybe she's a little unhinged.

Speaker 18 Oh boy. Maybe doing nothing but staring at fire for over a decade.

Speaker 68 Maybe that body was still alive when the armor was on it.

Speaker 95 I don't know.

Speaker 34 I don't know.

Speaker 18 She saw a dead man. His eyes lit up in flame because she sees flame everywhere.

Speaker 143 And

Speaker 18 I would say the armor does not look current. Got it.
This is definitely

Speaker 18 armor from the old world, from the Knights of Yore, from the

Speaker 18 I don't know who these you help me out here.

Speaker 101 It's definitely the insignias on them that you've kept mostly covered when you left Desperlock

Speaker 59 themselves hold the banner image of the old amber reach.

Speaker 51 This was armor that adorned a decorated soldier of the armies of the old world

Speaker 35 and those that were given station in the military, the military beneath the God King.

Speaker 20 I don't know who the valiant person was who wore this, but I just want to do them honor.

Speaker 20 I think you already have to wear these vestments. It is

Speaker 20 not a station that I take lately.

Speaker 20 I'm just gonna go up and sort of trace each of the sigils or anything that's on there

Speaker 20 to just try to see if they feel familiar to me.

Speaker 127 You glance into it and you place your finger across the beautiful, like, metal tooling and design work along the kind of top of the breastplate where it meets, meets like the clavicle in the...

Speaker 20 Can you just trace it?

Speaker 75 It's so beautifully made.

Speaker 114 As you do, your consciousness kind of falls into a haze

Speaker 95 and you hear suddenly this distant echo of hundreds of shields clattering and together and you see from

Speaker 95 a window an army moving

Speaker 112 brightest day the bluest of sky

Speaker 118 and

Speaker 121 soldiers off

Speaker 56 to some conquest

Speaker 59 A flash of a time forgotten, a memory that's yours, Not yours.

Speaker 61 You don't remember this, but you do now.

Speaker 95 Why?

Speaker 86 You pull back and you withdraw your fingers from her breastplate.

Speaker 20 I just saw visions of...

Speaker 20 of battle.

Speaker 20 I think this is a very incredible piece that you're wearing.

Speaker 20 I took great care care to hide it from the scholars. I know if

Speaker 20 they saw me with such a relic,

Speaker 20 they would surely remove it from my person.

Speaker 20 But it's not it's all for them.

Speaker 18 It was meant for me. It was meant for me

Speaker 64 to maybe bring back

Speaker 64 the valiant knights that once were.

Speaker 20 Of course.

Speaker 64 It was my destiny.

Speaker 65 Well, you definitely were impressive. You fought with

Speaker 65 strength and

Speaker 65 steadfast passion. Yes.
But we should really keep going, don't you think?

Speaker 64 Yes, of course.

Speaker 71 I mean, I figure we'll walk and talk. This is a walk-in talker.

Speaker 34 Yes, a walk-in talker.

Speaker 107 While looking out for droplets of flaving.

Speaker 115 Fair, fair.

Speaker 31 Who is taking the current turn on the newly

Speaker 50 analyzed map?

Speaker 65 I can keep leading if

Speaker 121 you would like

Speaker 90 instinct or knowledge, your choice.

Speaker 65 Instinct, but do I get to keep using this advantage on navigation through harsh environments or no?

Speaker 79 As your ability as a ridgeborne.

Speaker 50 I'd allow it because this is a subterranean, mountainous region.

Speaker 121 Alright.

Speaker 65 That is a 16 with hope.

Speaker 107 Nice. Alright, take that home.

Speaker 31 You follow the map now that you've oriented yourselves, and you see now where there was a bit of confusion in the early

Speaker 57 analyzing of the placement of where these various intersections were.

Speaker 105 There was an earlier intersection that was missed in the shadow and had set you further ahead than you had anticipated.

Speaker 60 But now that you've reoriented yourselves, you follow the line as it was written and follow the next blue torch and the next blue torch.

Speaker 31 The stillness and quiet of these caverns continuing until you curve around one of the fresh excavations.

Speaker 59 A what was once a solid rock wall that's been recently broken out and braced on all sides.

Speaker 51 Here you can see there's gathered tools on each side where the recent excavation team had broken through and left what they didn't need to use at the time.

Speaker 54 Because when they broke through this wall, it opened up into another chamber.

Speaker 36 A still partially collapsed stone pathway, but as it opened up wider and curved upward, it almost stepped into a larger area with a massive, beautiful, sculpted gate.

Speaker 108 You kind of come around the corner and just see it there, and you can see where the gate itself sits.

Speaker 40 The smell of

Speaker 52 faint scent of burned flesh still hanging in the air.

Speaker 9 Any sign of blue torches in this room?

Speaker 52 There are two blue torches, one set closest to you, up above part of the wall, and one further back near where the gate is.

Speaker 56 And what little bit of flicker of blue light there is, you can see the shadowed shapes of burnt corpses strewn across the ground,

Speaker 121 as well as a large armored corpse that looks to have been carved and set

Speaker 120 along what was some sort of a battle here.

Speaker 65 How many bodies do we spot?

Speaker 121 You can see four bodies.

Speaker 73 Four?

Speaker 65 That's these are the guys who died.

Speaker 20 Do any of these look familiar to you?

Speaker 9 Do I recognize any of

Speaker 9 any of the corpses?

Speaker 97 Do you guys enter towards the site? Yeah.

Speaker 90 Okay.

Speaker 52 As you move and kind of clamber up the rock, indeed you

Speaker 54 do begin to recognize some of these vigil members, or at least the armor and the bits of pieces you've seen.

Speaker 48 Their features features are gone.

Speaker 38 Their bodies are charred corpses, as is

Speaker 55 standard for those who fall under the corruption of the umbra.

Speaker 51 If a body is not destroyed within a period of time, it will rise again.

Speaker 48 So those who fell here were

Speaker 95 burned.

Speaker 92 But there was also the massive kind of armored fiend.

Speaker 54 You heard Rascello speak of a gate guardian that they felled when they were here, and you can see its body strewn out, its limbs elongated, its

Speaker 26 kind of cloaked hood, a skeletal from what bit you can see peeking out from underneath, exaggerated in size, and its neck itself almost arched backward, what little bit of the jaw you can see.

Speaker 62 The hood that's over it adorned with a small crown that almost has like gold leaves kind of sculpted through it.

Speaker 61 It's a

Speaker 54 large kind of wholly emblazoned shield on one arm kind of pressed out where its bony fingers are like broken off and now kind of scattered a few feet from its hand.

Speaker 52 A massive scythe-like hooked blade that itself extends almost seven feet to one side, itself laying partially jammed into the stone off to the side.

Speaker 114 A great fight took place here, definitely.

Speaker 65 I'm going to go up to some of the fallen vigil soldiers and just sort of collapse to my knees.

Speaker 65 It's just so horrible that they would die like this, and I'm going to be rifling through their pockets.

Speaker 65 It's just, they're our brothers and sisters, and they just

Speaker 64 seeing if I can find anything, any trin, anything to take.

Speaker 103 Yeah, I'll say, make a finesse roll for me if you don't mind.

Speaker 70 Okay.

Speaker 20 Did they also burn that guardian?

Speaker 68 No. Or does that need not need?

Speaker 89 And the guardian's the one that has the crown, right?

Speaker 106 Correct.

Speaker 46 But no,

Speaker 46 it's the

Speaker 106 those who are mortal and died.

Speaker 137 Those are the ones that need to be be burned

Speaker 113 20 with hope 20 with hope take that hope

Speaker 130 yes in fact you

Speaker 130 uncover on that body

Speaker 37 an

Speaker 97 an amber reach round shield that seems to have been scavenged from the ruins It's a round shield,

Speaker 48 as well as what looks to be a small pouch.

Speaker 35 This pouch is almost burned, but not to the point where the interior of it was destroyed.

Speaker 102 There is a

Speaker 40 what's called an armor stitcher.

Speaker 102 It is a

Speaker 51 series of metallic patches and an alchemical liquid that can be used to set it over damaged armor to repair it, rather, rather than duct tape.

Speaker 13 Duct tape, Universal Bonda, stuck it.

Speaker 64 Yep. Yes.

Speaker 65 Cool. Duct tape.
Yeah, I'm going to take these items and I realize that my pack is kind of full.

Speaker 65 This is a weird time to do this,

Speaker 65 August, but can I deliver your stuff to you now? I kind of need the room.

Speaker 9 Will you take delivery in this cave of death and wonder?

Speaker 87 It is COD, so

Speaker 88 what have you got there?

Speaker 65 I've got some good stuff for you that you asked for.

Speaker 76 Yeah, no, what do you got that you need to make room for?

Speaker 73 Oh, no, it's just junk. It's just junk.

Speaker 64 Is it? Yeah.

Speaker 79 No, let's take a look at that.

Speaker 64 It's just no, no, no, it's going to be a good one.

Speaker 78 I'm going to take a, I'm going to attempt to grab

Speaker 78 at least one of the smallest.

Speaker 85 I'm going to try and grab the pouch with Press of Digitation.

Speaker 34 Okay.

Speaker 22 So

Speaker 25 it's a sizable object.

Speaker 26 I will say, go ahead and make a finesse roll against you rolling.

Speaker 87 So excited.

Speaker 125 A reaction roll of instinct.

Speaker 120 This is for you two. It's sensitive.

Speaker 65 Do I get to add my instinct to this?

Speaker 68 Yes, you do.

Speaker 68 Oof.

Speaker 79 Twelve with hope.

Speaker 64 Oh, there's no. Eight with hope.

Speaker 48 So you

Speaker 109 pluck it and you watch as there's this like tug on the pouch that you had just acquired and as it tries to pull away you kind of grasp it and it pulls away.

Speaker 52 You look over and see the look in August's eyes.

Speaker 85 I'll take my stuff later.

Speaker 65 Look, I'll show you what this is, all right?

Speaker 62 I'd let go.

Speaker 65 I'll show you what this is. It's some sort of thing for fixing armor.
It seems pretty cool.

Speaker 64 That's bloody brilliant.

Speaker 73 Yeah, expensive.

Speaker 65 Whoever has their armor damaged can use it.

Speaker 65 Of course, if you had any armor, you could too. But I don't think you know what that is.

Speaker 67 You're a strong fighter. You're a spider moth.

Speaker 84 I'm really not a strong fighter.

Speaker 7 But I don't need it.

Speaker 68 I don't need it.

Speaker 7 Just, you know, show what you got.

Speaker 65 That's all. But I did have stuff for you from earlier.
The stuff you requested. You wanted meat.
I got you a few ounces of pain beast meat.

Speaker 64 All right. All right.
That'll do.

Speaker 65 You asked for some juniper berries. They're a little rotten.

Speaker 7 Okay, here they are.

Speaker 34 I'll take them. Thanks.

Speaker 65 And I reached into my pouch. You asked for some fabric.
It's gray. Later.

Speaker 64 Later. Gray linen.

Speaker 65 I couldn't find a whole book on etiquette, but I did find this. It's a pamphlet about dress codes for formal occasions.

Speaker 64 That's it, actually.

Speaker 117 The pamphlet will fit in my bag.

Speaker 35 While they're having this conversation, and you're kind of taking in the surroundings here, you can see the massive double gate that...

Speaker 55 was noted by Raskello and the team where this fight took place, that he believes to be the gate that leads to the

Speaker 59 Firmaments Hero.

Speaker 53 The right-hand side of the gate is slightly pushed in

Speaker 20 did you check the guardian for anything

Speaker 65 is that what you were checking i didn't check anybody i was mourning the loss of these fine fine men but did you get the

Speaker 64 channel

Speaker 84 should go check that one

Speaker 9 are there footprints leading into that door by the way i'm sure the the people in the works the smithy and the leather work people would appreciate the crown

Speaker 20 i agree with you you.

Speaker 20 We could all also use it for humor by

Speaker 20 wearing it and saying that we're that

Speaker 65 we're

Speaker 73 the guardian.

Speaker 71 Like ha ha ha, this is a joke.

Speaker 84 It's actually pretty funny.

Speaker 89 It's not bad.

Speaker 64 Humor.

Speaker 64 Yes.

Speaker 38 As you walk outside the gate where it's ajar, you can see it's about two feet wide.

Speaker 51 Where it is, there's a part of the gate, part of like the wooden frame of it, where it looks like a small

Speaker 26 like a nail of some kind was driven into it, where a hanging

Speaker 53 trinket like a bone that's been tied with twine and has like carvings and it has been set there and there is a bloody handprint that is pressed and smeared against it and indeed there is a trail of blood from inside this room and beyond the gate.

Speaker 9 This is Velk's though.

Speaker 115 Remember I told you he has bones and tea leaves, all the stuff.

Speaker 85 This is he was here.

Speaker 71 Green tea leaves and whatnot.

Speaker 20 Yes, all right.

Speaker 35 And you're inspecting the body of the Guardian?

Speaker 65 If that's what you guys would like me to do, I'd be happy to. Sure.
I'll go over and inspect the crown.

Speaker 66 It's not too heavy for you.

Speaker 70 Oh,

Speaker 65 the crown is not too heavy for you.

Speaker 64 It is.

Speaker 74 But I'll go check it out. Okay.

Speaker 18 How big is the crown?

Speaker 72 Did you say?

Speaker 64 The guardian.

Speaker 64 It's about, it's a little, it's like a human-size, a little, a little larger.

Speaker 141 Like I said,

Speaker 113 the features are exaggerated, but you go in like a percussion, grab the crown, press the digitation just

Speaker 49 faster than you can expect.

Speaker 50 Expect suddenly, a massive, gauntleted, bony skeletal hand

Speaker 3 with the fingers reformed, and the rest of you watch with lightning speed as the guardian grabs onto your forearm and

Speaker 32 begins to rise up from its broken space.

Speaker 70 I'll be right back, Gira. No!

Speaker 37 Why won't you grab the crown?

Speaker 37 Why would you

Speaker 37 do that?

Speaker 80 Dumb idea!

Speaker 30 I need a little help setting this for you. Oh, God.

Speaker 99 Here's.

Speaker 146 So just give me a second. Oh, boy.

Speaker 115 Oh, my gosh. Oh, boy.

Speaker 64 Ready.

Speaker 65 Who has multiple armor slots down?

Speaker 18 Me, but I can recover them.

Speaker 115 You have two down. Two of them by five.

Speaker 8 If I can get a little help

Speaker 103 bringing this over, buddy.

Speaker 100 I can also give somebody

Speaker 37 a boy. Wow!

Speaker 37 Whoa, look at the gate! gate!

Speaker 64 That looks so cool.

Speaker 100 Wow.

Speaker 100 Wow.

Speaker 7 That crush your fingers is some wedding cake.

Speaker 99 So, as you had walked up to the gate here,

Speaker 35 and you all had been conversing

Speaker 140 back around this space, I want to do

Speaker 137 over here.

Speaker 65 Oh, that's the guardian?

Speaker 130 No, the guardian I haven't taxed yet.

Speaker 64 Oh. Oh, my God.

Speaker 18 Just right into the honeypot, we did.

Speaker 141 As it rises.

Speaker 133 Oh, that's so sick. Oh, he's lunged over.

Speaker 144 We see

Speaker 55 the once holy warrior who is tasked with preventing this gate from breaching for those unworthy of the monastery's great holy order, itself over time taken by the corruption of the umbra and other powers that sink deep into the roots of this mountain leave it a mockery of its once holy self

Speaker 126 as it's clasped onto your wrist snyx it's gonna go ahead and make a sweeping strike

Speaker 137 it's going to shift forward slightly and as part of its sweeping strike i will spend a fear to do that and it makes an attack against every PC within very close range.

Speaker 23 It takes its massive, scythe-like blade, and

Speaker 156 that's going to be a

Speaker 97 14 against both you, and

Speaker 105 let's see, that'd be Misty.

Speaker 74 Yeah, okay. Hits.

Speaker 93 Hits both of you?

Speaker 20 Yeah.

Speaker 49 Alright, so both of you take...

Speaker 20 Wait, what did you roll? Sorry?

Speaker 64 14. 14.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that hits.

Speaker 110 Oof.

Speaker 1 It's going to be 11 points of physical damage on both of you.

Speaker 41 I am.

Speaker 111 Who's rough?

Speaker 65 Who's I'll reduce that by one armor?

Speaker 20 I only have one, and I can reduce. I have two armor.
We'll just.

Speaker 82 How many points of damage? 14?

Speaker 100 No, that was

Speaker 64 11. 11? Sorry?

Speaker 18 I'm near Misty. I am your shield.
I'm gonna take it. I'm gonna marcus stress and take it.

Speaker 18 I am your shield.

Speaker 36 Alrighty.

Speaker 51 So you take that 11 points of physical damage.

Speaker 18 Yes, I will reduce it by one.

Speaker 101 That's to what I do.

Speaker 64 That's what I do.

Speaker 20 Okay, wait, so I just take one.

Speaker 35 You take no damage because she's not going to be able to do it.

Speaker 41 I take no damage because you took two.

Speaker 64 Okay, okay.

Speaker 18 And I just cheese one because I'm reducing it.

Speaker 18 I will go ahead and do my frontline tank ability where I can spend three hope to refill two armor slots.

Speaker 24 Alright, so you use your hope ability to regain some armor slots?

Speaker 130 Yeah.

Speaker 53 You got it.

Speaker 32 The gate guardian now, its head, you can't even see its eyes.

Speaker 52 Where the crown sets upon its hood, the cloth blocks the top of its skull.

Speaker 137 You just see the nose and the jaw. It's sucking up,

Speaker 51 hang open, and the smell of decay just emanates from it. This black shadow almost just wafts off of it as it moves.

Speaker 121 What are you going to do?

Speaker 9 I'm going to reach back with the halberd, and as I swing it behind me, I thrust the staff forward and I'm going to cast bolt beacon towards the guardian.

Speaker 61 Let's go.

Speaker 36 Roll for yourself.

Speaker 9 I'll make a spell casting roll against the target within far range.

Speaker 104 That is a 14, 15, 16, 16 with fear.

Speaker 99 With fear.

Speaker 93 That is a success though.

Speaker 36 All right. I'll take that fear.

Speaker 99 So I'll do d8 plus

Speaker 83 two magic using my proficiency.

Speaker 9 That's 12 points of damage, and the target becomes temporarily vulnerable and glows brightly until his condition is completely damaged.

Speaker 99 Magical damage, correct?

Speaker 64 Magical, yes. Okay, got you.

Speaker 128 All of a sudden you blast it with this divine power as it burns around it.

Speaker 26 The shadow that was seeping off of it suddenly gets scattered in the moment and you watch as this the cracks in its armor are now glowing from the inside like they're molten giving you direction on where to strike for maximum impact.

Speaker 52 Okay, so

Speaker 78 right now the next magical attack

Speaker 158 does what?

Speaker 83 He is vulnerable temporarily.

Speaker 78 So what does that mean to a magical attack? Exactly.

Speaker 48 It just means temporarily vulnerable.

Speaker 93 Yes.

Speaker 85 Yes.

Speaker 124 So vulnerable means attacks means to have advantage.

Speaker 36 However, roll with fear, which brings it to me. Okay.

Speaker 99 Yes.

Speaker 99 D6.

Speaker 127 So, he's going to go ahead and

Speaker 106 leap in the air with an unnatural speed, almost like a Jack Skellington jump in the air.

Speaker 137 And then

Speaker 35 land right behind all of you, spend that fear

Speaker 53 and do another sweeping strike.

Speaker 64 Whoosh with its massive curved blade.

Speaker 24 It's going to be coming at all three of you within close range, which is going to be Misty, Brixton, and Snyx.

Speaker 156 That's going to be a 16 to hit.

Speaker 73 That's not me. That hits all of us.
That's not me.

Speaker 38 Sorry.

Speaker 32 That's Brixton, Misty, and Idol.

Speaker 107 Yes.

Speaker 63 That hits.

Speaker 1 That hits us nine points of physical damage to all three of you with one heavy strike.

Speaker 64 I'm going to.

Speaker 9 Very close.

Speaker 9 Nine points of heavy damage?

Speaker 124 Nine points of physical damage.

Speaker 30 I'm going to use an armor.

Speaker 20 I'm going to use an armor.

Speaker 76 Who needs armor, by the way?

Speaker 18 I'll take it. I'll take it for now.

Speaker 64 Wow. Does anybody need armor, by the way? I know.

Speaker 88 I know. Huh? Does anybody need armor?

Speaker 64 Not yet.

Speaker 107 Okay.

Speaker 87 It's back to you guys.

Speaker 78 Who's doing what? Anyone? Anyone need armor?

Speaker 64 Sure, everybody does.

Speaker 7 Okay, good to know.

Speaker 78 And your...

Speaker 106 You can repair armor at downtime.

Speaker 49 That allows you to do it. No, I have to.

Speaker 68 If you get to downtime. That's true.

Speaker 99 I know.

Speaker 100 Gotta survive first. Stop it.

Speaker 78 So I'm gonna try, I'm gonna let my wings out again. I'm gonna

Speaker 78 give my poor moth a little meat.

Speaker 89 All right.

Speaker 78 And then we're gonna take off again.

Speaker 88 All right.

Speaker 78 And I'm gonna try and get within close range.

Speaker 41 Yes, it does.

Speaker 83 I'm gonna feed my moth a little meat.

Speaker 34 Close meat.

Speaker 78 I'm trying to get in.

Speaker 27 How close is close range? Close range is about

Speaker 137 there. Turn out are gonna be over up here would be close.

Speaker 78 Yeah, I'll be up. I'm gonna pop up there and I'm going to

Speaker 67 suddenly a bunch of extra arms

Speaker 78 come out that have been hiding in the back of

Speaker 78 my coat, kind of make their way out and make their way out.

Speaker 78 And we all just sort of pass this little needle around as it just starts to take some of my spider thread and make this little sigil as it goes.

Speaker 78 And then we cast it out and I'm doing arcane barrage as this fires at

Speaker 64 this jerk right over here.

Speaker 113 I don't roll for this.

Speaker 109 Nope. It just goes on.

Speaker 78 So I assume that it still means that the condition that he's talking about, about the next one having advantage, doesn't change.

Speaker 32 Well, does it say the next one has advantage?

Speaker 137 Or does it, or it's vulnerable?

Speaker 9 Travi. Travis.

Speaker 8 Yeah, just temporarily vulnerable. Right.

Speaker 32 Temporarily vulnerable means until I spend a fear to get rid of it.

Speaker 78 Oh, well, in that case, this doesn't have a, so I can just, I'm going to spend,

Speaker 78 let's see, how much hope am I going to put into this?

Speaker 139 One, two, three.

Speaker 69 Let's put four hope into this.

Speaker 65 Whoa, what is what?

Speaker 79 That's a live universe.

Speaker 93 That's 46 46 magic damage

Speaker 49 as August just unleashes that this this massive barrage of arcane energy that blasts through all these different silken threads

Speaker 24 Riding along them like little magical cable cars.

Speaker 37 That's so cool so cool

Speaker 35 11 points of damage 11 points of magical damage that makes it a minor a major wound.

Speaker 1 That's two points two hit points it marks on that one.

Speaker 142 It gets impacted multiple times bone splinters and armor density and it kind of pulls back to this full backward arc.

Speaker 38 Stays there for a second.

Speaker 51 Back up, and it's now looking up at you.

Speaker 147 Oh, God.

Speaker 109 It's like the hood still covering its eyes.

Speaker 78 Anyone?

Speaker 77 I'm going to go

Speaker 91 real quick.

Speaker 98 Is it still our turn? Yeah.

Speaker 18 I want to go unstoppable.

Speaker 18 Which is my classed feature as a guardian.

Speaker 18 And then I guess I'm going whack at it and that's what I do.

Speaker 18 Um okay, here we go

Speaker 68 Come on, wait.

Speaker 18 Do I still ooh, that's pretty good.

Speaker 19 Do I still have advantage on this?

Speaker 64 Is he still vulnerable?

Speaker 68 He's still vulnerable.

Speaker 18 I think it doesn't really matter at this point. Yeah, that's fine.
Um, so that's gonna be 10, 21, 23 to hit.

Speaker 64 That hits. Okay.

Speaker 18 And then that is going to be

Speaker 18 let me just make sure I'm doing everything correct here.

Speaker 96 Yeah.

Speaker 18 Double sevens on my damage die. So that's going to be seven, eight, nine, ten, plus the one for my unstoppable die.
So that's 11.

Speaker 64 11 damage.

Speaker 35 11 damage.

Speaker 53 You strike it heavily with your weapon.

Speaker 48 And as you impact, this like glow from its holy buckler seems to emanate for a second.

Speaker 52 And you hit, and your weapon seems to meet resistance, some sort of magical protection, and your blade only does half damage, physical resistance from your strike.

Speaker 103 So it only marks one hit point.

Speaker 24 It's also, I'm going to spend a fear to remove its vulnerability,

Speaker 40 and then also, as a reaction to that, spend a fear

Speaker 122 to

Speaker 100 use its hallowed cry.

Speaker 97 This silent beast now, after the strike and impact, have it taken physical damage from you.

Speaker 40 It looks up and goes,

Speaker 27 and as it screams out,

Speaker 23 two of the burned bodies

Speaker 124 begin to climb out, the bones pushing out of the burned flesh and crawling towards you.

Speaker 9 You know, there is a half-open door. We

Speaker 37 shut the door.

Speaker 31 There's these two dredge skeletons

Speaker 53 that arise from the bodies here and immediately activate.

Speaker 68 You could run.

Speaker 99 They,

Speaker 25 as part of their spotlight, shift forward

Speaker 145 and they're going to, this one's going to go ahead and move up to here to you, idle,

Speaker 97 as the two of them.

Speaker 32 And they're going to make a group attack.

Speaker 6 Oh, boy.

Speaker 141 To spend a fear on that.

Speaker 64 We can always do a like velocity.

Speaker 64 We should do that too.

Speaker 78 Yeah, we can do some tag team attacks.

Speaker 75 What you got?

Speaker 156 That's going to be 17 to hit you.

Speaker 93 Yes, for sure.

Speaker 146 So you take...

Speaker 1 Two points of physical damage

Speaker 103 from both of those dredges of meat.

Speaker 89 Go away.

Speaker 36 Okay.

Speaker 107 Alrighty.

Speaker 124 And when you roll with hope or fear on you, is it with fear?

Speaker 61 Thank you.

Speaker 36 So I'm going to take that fear back.

Speaker 120 And now he's going to shift.

Speaker 52 No, he's going to hold on to this right here. He's in a good position.

Speaker 97 He's going to spend a fear again to make another sweeping strike against this crew.

Speaker 131 That's going to be a 19 on the die, which for an Umbertouch creature is a crit.

Speaker 37 Oh, no.

Speaker 100 So,

Speaker 96 he's eating who?

Speaker 51 He's doing another sweeping strike against all three of you right there.

Speaker 64 Wait, so

Speaker 78 never mind. I don't have enough hope for that.

Speaker 132 Carry on. You just spent four hope.

Speaker 7 Oh, God.

Speaker 22 Never mind.

Speaker 130 That's going to be 16 points of physical damage to Brixton, to Misty, and to Idle.

Speaker 8 Yep.

Speaker 63 Okay.

Speaker 18 Okay, while I am unstoppable, my damage thresholds are reduced down.

Speaker 18 So I'm going to spin one armor to take no damage from that.

Speaker 7 Hasn't done damage yet.

Speaker 68 Just hits.

Speaker 86 No, I just did 16 points of physical damage to all three.

Speaker 100 Oh, I thought it was 16 points.

Speaker 9 I understand.

Speaker 99 I did too.

Speaker 36 No, I rolled a nitral 19, which is right, because that's what you were saying was a crit for a number touchdown.

Speaker 64 So

Speaker 64 shit.

Speaker 68 Okay.

Speaker 100 Oh, where's the thing I can do?

Speaker 20 So that's severe.

Speaker 8 I gotta do an armor for that.

Speaker 68 Yeah, yep.

Speaker 68 Okay.

Speaker 20 So if I do one armor, that just takes you down to the next threshold.

Speaker 122 She's gonna major, yeah. Fuck.

Speaker 37 Okay.

Speaker 64 We gotta get out of here.

Speaker 115 We gotta run to the door and maybe shut the door behind us.

Speaker 20 You can use hope, right, to regain armor?

Speaker 137 No, she has an ability to do that.

Speaker 140 That's a good idea.

Speaker 49 So that is specifically to that.

Speaker 99 It's all good. Good looking out of the way.

Speaker 51 But it is back to you guys.

Speaker 99 What do you want to do?

Speaker 73 Fuck.

Speaker 65 I'm going to run into the middle of this mess.

Speaker 94 Oh, Jesus.

Speaker 81 Over here. Stupid.
We got to go.

Speaker 65 Yep, we got to go.

Speaker 73 Oh, shit.

Speaker 65 And I'm going to whip out

Speaker 13 my boomerang.

Speaker 37 Let's go.

Speaker 65 It's dirty. It's gross.

Speaker 65 It's rusty. I'm going to just fucking chuck it at the big guy.

Speaker 115 Let's go.

Speaker 44 Roll an attack.

Speaker 5 Okay.

Speaker 65 I'm going to add a bunch of stuff to it. First, I'm going to add my Wayfinder feature.

Speaker 65 I can mark a stress to add an extra damage dice. I guess I should see if I hit it first, right?

Speaker 115 Um, well, you add it before you roll, okay.

Speaker 65 So, yeah, so I'll do that. I'm marking a stress to double the damage dice.

Speaker 76 All right, I'm gonna roll to see if I hit.

Speaker 78 Do you want do you want

Speaker 78 help trying to hit?

Speaker 65 I mean, yes, but you don't have very much hope to spend.

Speaker 64 No, I don't. Okay, I won't wait.

Speaker 64 Uh, all right, oh, God, please work

Speaker 65 17

Speaker 87 to hit with fear 17 hits okay

Speaker 65 and that is

Speaker 65 2d10 plus 2

Speaker 65 that's 17 damage and now I will spend three hope

Speaker 65 to hold them off that will make my attack

Speaker 65 the boomerang will hit him and then hit both of the other guys okay is it physical damage this is magic damage okay This is

Speaker 35 not resistant to magic damage. That's 13 damage.

Speaker 65 What did I say? I think it was.

Speaker 138 No, it was a huge damage.

Speaker 109 Sorry, it was

Speaker 65 17.

Speaker 40 17. I'll take it.

Speaker 129 Damn.

Speaker 65 Yes, it was 17 because I rolled 15 plus two.

Speaker 75 Yes.

Speaker 64 How do you want to do that?

Speaker 37 He got the howdy dirty damage. We're the boomerang.

Speaker 64 We're the boomerang.

Speaker 64 Yes, how'd you do that?

Speaker 13 Does it kill all three of us? Oh, yeah.

Speaker 37 That's the lamest shit I've ever heard. You're so mad.

Speaker 80 That's awesome.

Speaker 88 Oh, my God.

Speaker 115 I'm discussing death moves over here.

Speaker 37 I had one in my lap and I was like,

Speaker 34 yes. Okay.

Speaker 65 I run into the fray with my new friends,

Speaker 65 shaking with fear,

Speaker 65 unable

Speaker 65 to look at what I'm doing.

Speaker 64 I cover my eyes and I throw the boomerang as hard as I can,

Speaker 65 hoping that someone will see how cool this is.

Speaker 65 And the boomerang will clang cling clang all the way around

Speaker 65 and come right back in the boomerang

Speaker 61 you throw and it misses the guardian it spins around

Speaker 143 destroys one of the skeletons destroys the other you miss it on the return and then it shh sticks into the shield of the guardian

Speaker 24 the magical runes

Speaker 22 glow and then detonate the shield exploding and the boomerang itself uh seems to strike into the ceiling whoa

Speaker 25 The guardian looks up as a rock.

Speaker 106 Amazing. With your boomerang intact.

Speaker 74 What the fuck?

Speaker 34 That was amazing.

Speaker 64 We gotta get out of here.

Speaker 37 Let's go. End the dog.
Wait, did you get the crown?

Speaker 65 No,

Speaker 65 should I get the crown?

Speaker 64 Alright.

Speaker 19 Wait, how much damage does your boomerang do?

Speaker 65 It just did 17 damage because I doubled it and I did all sorts of things.

Speaker 64 i did everything

Speaker 13 i used everything retrieve your boomerang

Speaker 45 the the uh the gate guardian is now scattered into multiple pieces it's someone's blade is thrown off and stuck into the wall yeah we've seen that before his fingers were off the came back on

Speaker 101 it as your group pushes through the door the blood smear of a previous uh

Speaker 130 figure who had stepped through grab the little bone on the thread you're going to the thread you um you're all it takes a moment for you all to pull this door close

Speaker 61 You're in the darkness beyond, where the torchlight doesn't reach, you ignited torch to light the space.

Speaker 120 And there is a staircase that just ascends, a beautiful, smooth, marbled staircase that climbs up.

Speaker 43 And that's where we're gonna finish this episode.

Speaker 37 Come on!

Speaker 64 Just like you went.

Speaker 18 Wait, but

Speaker 18 the bone was on this door, right?

Speaker 41 We were heading in the right direction.

Speaker 64 We're going the right way. And the hand spring.
We're going the right way.

Speaker 37 We are getting the right direction.
