Speaker 8 Hello again, it's Brennan Lee Mulligan, and you're listening to part two of this episode of Critical Role. If you haven't checked out part one yet, pause this now and head over there first.

Speaker 8 What are you doing?

Speaker 12 Otherwise, let's jump right back into this adventure and the world of Aroman.

Speaker 15 Welcome back to episode one campaign for a critical role.

Speaker 16 Laura, give me a death saving throw.

Speaker 20 Classroom.

Speaker 21 Eleven, that's a success.

Speaker 22 Incredible.

Speaker 23 Go ahead.

Speaker 24 Okay, with a success.

Speaker 25 Thimble,

Speaker 28 you are a pixie from

Speaker 33 Tier Cruz of the land of fairy beyond this realm of place beyond you see a golden orchard swimming in your head.

Speaker 35 There's so much

Speaker 37 Theazi Theazzi's counting on you.

Speaker 35 We're all another death savings.

Speaker 38 Oh shit, okay. Oh my god

Speaker 18 17.

Speaker 39 17.

Speaker 34 His face.

Speaker 34 Tell Fimble,

Speaker 34 don't be scared.

Speaker 34 There's something on the wind.

Speaker 34 A falcon

Speaker 34 soaring.

Speaker 28 Give me another death-saving throw.

Speaker 28 Oh, fuck.

Speaker 40 One.

Speaker 19 Okay, okay. But seeing Thimble and the

Speaker 42 two successes, two failures.

Speaker 43 Everybody, for the first time in this campaign, roll initiative.

Speaker 19 Including you.

Speaker 46 You will roll with disadvantage.

Speaker 47 Actually, no, you'll roll straight.

Speaker 49 Natural 20 for a 22.

Speaker 19 Natural 20.

Speaker 50 20, 22. What did we get here?

Speaker 51 22.

Speaker 19 It's so cold.

Speaker 18 It's bad.

Speaker 40 No, 22, but my initiative was.

Speaker 50 Okay, but you got a 22 as well.

Speaker 52 I did.

Speaker 53 On a nat 20, you're going to go first.

Speaker 38 Okay. Okay.

Speaker 41 20.

Speaker 54 What do we get?

Speaker 41 A five. A five.

Speaker 55 I'm somewhere. I'm very distracted as we come into this crime scene.

Speaker 14 Um, on that natural one,

Speaker 58 you see it.

Speaker 60 You remember the day you were with him.

Speaker 33 He was holding you in the palm of his hand.

Speaker 62 I'm so sorry.

Speaker 62 But

Speaker 62 they closed them.

Speaker 58 And you see the doors to fairy closing.

Speaker 32 Death, the shadow of the underworld racing against the light.

Speaker 30 That inner spark within you connecting you to lands beyond, vanishing.

Speaker 35 That was the last day you felt it.

Speaker 37 The day you started aging.

Speaker 65 The day that Fairy vanished from the world.

Speaker 66 The light is leaving.

Speaker 65 That's what it means to be immortal. And on that one, your light begins to leave.

Speaker 15 Teor, you are looking down.

Speaker 68 This was Theazi's...

Speaker 71 to say his partner, his partner in everything, in crime, adventure, war, and heroism.

Speaker 58 Thimble and Theazi were thick as thieves, and everywhere they traveled, they traveled side by side.

Speaker 73 And you watch as the light begins to leave her in this moment.

Speaker 68 It is your turn.

Speaker 75 I see the light dimming, and I look down, and

Speaker 69 I remember you so vividly, and yet you've changed.

Speaker 77 You seem different.

Speaker 78 And just instinctually, I grab onto something that's on my on my waist and I reach out a single claw and I ever so gently just touch it to your breastplate and I will cast layon hands.

Speaker 82 I'm sorry, cure wounds.

Speaker 83 2d8.

Speaker 49 Plus my

Speaker 79 spellcasting ability.

Speaker 81 Okay.

Speaker 84 There is through the grate, Travis.

Speaker 85 Yes.

Speaker 86 And I promise I'm not trying to be cruel.

Speaker 26 Oh shit. Oh my gosh.

Speaker 71 But there is a grate in the floor between you and where Thimble is.

Speaker 89 Do you want to give me either an athletics check or something else to try to move it, or an acrobatics to try to squeeze your hands?

Speaker 75 I would use athletics to rip the holy motherfuck out of that grate and leave no chance of anything getting moved between you and me.

Speaker 23 Hell yeah.

Speaker 14 If you so desire, even though there's possible danger everywhere, I will let you make that roll with advantage

Speaker 93 if you disregard your own physical well-being and getting the grate out of it.

Speaker 81 All right.

Speaker 69 Amazing.

Speaker 95 19 plus 4.

Speaker 81 23.

Speaker 52 23.

Speaker 93 You take just three points of bludgeoning damage, literally shoving your claws through the grate.

Speaker 47 The grate is kind of not big enough to get your hands in there, and you force them through, skinning your knuckles on the way in.

Speaker 71 And

Speaker 94 all of you watch Teor just pull the some of the stone comes out with it.

Speaker 41 Boom!

Speaker 52 As part of your movement, as your object interaction to just get this thing out of there.

Speaker 15 Cast cure wounds for me, my friend.

Speaker 49 Hold thimble, hold, and you'll see just a little bit of divine radiance extend down his silvery gray forearm, down to the claw, and

Speaker 49 into your chest, and you heal 13 points.

Speaker 49 Thimble.

Speaker 37 The light is leaving until suddenly

Speaker 37 the sun is rising.

Speaker 26 It's warm again.

Speaker 26 You look up,

Speaker 98 but this is a dream that it will hurt to leave.

Speaker 99 For the waking world holds no joy for you as you regain consciousness.

Speaker 99 Easy, little one.

Speaker 99 Teor.

Speaker 87 Hi, Thimble.

Speaker 87 What are you?

Speaker 100 And I look next to me and I see.

Speaker 100 I see the glyph.

Speaker 100 I have to get to The Azi.

Speaker 101 I have to get this on Theazi.

Speaker 101 What do you mean it's done?

Speaker 38 What do you mean it's done? It's done.

Speaker 77 It didn't work.

Speaker 77 I'm sorry.

Speaker 94 And the disguise self-melts.

Speaker 87 It's okay. Breathe.

Speaker 19 The Aussie is gone.

Speaker 51 The Aussie, it's gone.

Speaker 106 When? When?

Speaker 100 How long ago I look up? Do I see the sky? Is it nighttime?

Speaker 100 It's no longer that.

Speaker 100 Oh.

Speaker 100 I didn't.

Speaker 100 I didn't even get to say goodbye.

Speaker 100 No.

Speaker 100 Thimble.

Speaker 100 Thimble.

Speaker 30 And I approach you as you're holding onto Taylor's hand.

Speaker 103 He knew.

Speaker 79 I spoke to him in my way and and

Speaker 62 he

Speaker 85 He told me to tell you what

Speaker 19 that you

Speaker 19 You

Speaker 109 you did so well

Speaker 19 And you're so proud of me I did shit

Speaker 110 the glyph is here.

Speaker 82 I fucked it up

Speaker 82 These these people came in they they they attacked me.

Speaker 17 How do they even know?

Speaker 111 How do they even know?

Speaker 112 We don't know, but we're gonna find that out.

Speaker 19 What? What?

Speaker 38 We're gonna find that out.

Speaker 70 Azune, as you look at the glyph on the ground beside Thimble,

Speaker 58 something's not adding up.

Speaker 77 Wait, I you the glyph was there.

Speaker 85 The glyph was there.

Speaker 55 Wait, and I want to take a look at that glyph.

Speaker 87 You told me that.

Speaker 33 Give me an Arcana check as you investigate it.

Speaker 94 Okay. Um,

Speaker 50 you pick it up.

Speaker 115 This is an enormous wrinkle.

Speaker 71 Something is wrong.

Speaker 55 Uh, I start to look at it, if I may.

Speaker 38 Yeah.

Speaker 55 Uh, can I guidance myself? Yeah. As I investigate investigate that.

Speaker 55 I close my eyes and I know that this moment needs me to focus and I let my mind take me to a place of calm and I remember

Speaker 55 my mother's face

Speaker 24 as I take a breath.

Speaker 116 That is a 22 arcana.

Speaker 26 You're looking.

Speaker 117 The glyph is perfect.

Speaker 26 It's exactly, this is what,

Speaker 93 And you're thinking back.

Speaker 66 There was no way for you.

Speaker 74 This is the glyph. It's here.

Speaker 73 And there's no way that's possible.

Speaker 114 And so the question is on a 22, what did you scan?

Speaker 112 You got the...

Speaker 93 You got conjuration. I was looking for conjuration and illusion.

Speaker 89 And you see conjuration and illusion here exactly.

Speaker 32 But the issue is...

Speaker 32 You were reading an aura because it had to stay hidden in his jacket. And you're going back and you're saying, I didn't actually get a, get my eyes on what was in his jacket

Speaker 32 something is not adding up on a 22

Speaker 90 you know that this is accurate that this is the thing that Thimble was working on this one you are holding in your hand and seeing with your own eyes yes but something

Speaker 19 this it can't have gotten from the azi back here no it's still on his body You know, there's something still on his body, yeah.

Speaker 55 We need to go back.

Speaker 91 I'll pick up the glyph.

Speaker 93 This is the right one.

Speaker 55 This is the one. This is what was supposed to be on him, but Thimble, somebody was on some this.

Speaker 66 You told me there was the correct glyph on his walk.

Speaker 19 It was.

Speaker 80 It registered.

Speaker 61 I did the scan, and it registered.

Speaker 80 It pinged.

Speaker 55 It pinged conjuration and illusion.

Speaker 61 And it was placed.

Speaker 100 I start looking around the room. I start moving my wings and I get a little bit off the ground and start looking around the room to see if those men took anything else.

Speaker 104 You had something on the Aussie.

Speaker 77 You were trying to save him.

Speaker 19 Yes.

Speaker 120 As you begin looking around the room, it is chaos here.

Speaker 90 And I think your fairy senses scan out through this space.

Speaker 61 They have pillaged everything.

Speaker 35 If that glyph, you remember in your last moment of combat, masked figures barging into the room as you were finishing the glyph, waiting for the moment of transfer where you could fly out through the city under cover of darkness, plant it in Theazzi's coat, exactly where it was supposed to go.

Speaker 37 The plan was set.

Speaker 121 It was you, Tysha, Octus.

Speaker 32 Tysha and Octus were going to be waiting to get him out of the city.

Speaker 68 Azune was going to throw the scan so that it wouldn't register as there being magic.

Speaker 93 The wagon was going to be provided by Casimir, an old member of the Torn banner, and it was going to be put in place by Sid, Teor's younger brother, was going to drive it into place.

Speaker 32 He was supposed to break the rune, appear in the wagon, head out, get found by Tysha and Octus, and make his way out of the city.

Speaker 32 Looking around, not only is this place completely ransacked, but

Speaker 32 you killed at least three of them when they came in, and there's no one to be found in here.

Speaker 73 You look and see the grate.

Speaker 73 If you had not, with your last effort, grabbed the glyph and fallen into the grate, I think, Tayor, looking at the thing you just tore out of the ground, you can see fingerprints on it residually from like,

Speaker 93 in other words, she fell through and was hidden away from where they could get her, other, and then they ransacked the place and left um

Speaker 90 looking around though there's so there are so many questions here and i think

Speaker 72 give me investigation if you'd like

Speaker 106 god

Speaker 100 i'm traumatized right now

Speaker 51 um seven

Speaker 91 looking around

Speaker 14 you have no

Speaker 44 it all happened so fast

Speaker 90 looking at this chaos

Speaker 32 You would need a miracle to be able to piece together what happened here

Speaker 73 Which means it's really good news that a miracle walks in

Speaker 123 Robbie you want to come out

Speaker 123 Robbie

Speaker 19 we have Kleenex back in the booth

Speaker 19 I didn't bring Kleenex.

Speaker 19 What's up? Hi.

Speaker 19 Hell yeah.

Speaker 57 Um

Speaker 22 to

Speaker 85 Octus

Speaker 54 All of you, I have all of your passive perceptions in front of me.

Speaker 65 A ghost appears in the doorway, Octus.

Speaker 19 You.

Speaker 113 You don't recognize the figure,

Speaker 38 but Thimble, Teor, and Azune all do.

Speaker 109 Robbie, you want to go ahead and describe your character for us?

Speaker 62 Yeah.

Speaker 56 You see...

Speaker 60 a human man.

Speaker 18 Is he tall?

Speaker 19 He's cowardly. He is

Speaker 19 so tall.

Speaker 56 He actually is an imposing figure.

Speaker 75 He's older.

Speaker 56 I say in his mid-40s or so. But it's tough to tell because he's lived a hard life, a weathered life from the very beginning.

Speaker 56 You see a man

Speaker 56 at the waning peak of his physical ability, but he was definitely there and very, very capable. He's 6'4, 220 pounds.

Speaker 80 He's carved out of the oak that he lives among.

Speaker 118 Cadogan Vale is

Speaker 56 has a cowlin hood over his head and

Speaker 56 monochrome. Everything on him feels

Speaker 81 scavenged but purposeful.

Speaker 56 High quality and cared for but

Speaker 56 but wild and raw and the things that he wears represents who he is on the inside as well. He is

Speaker 56 a wild man in a place that he shouldn't be.

Speaker 56 And

Speaker 56 as he sort of appears in the doorway in this imposing figure,

Speaker 56 he stumbles just a little bit.

Speaker 56 That aura goes away. And as he stumbles, he leans against the door.

Speaker 69 And you can tell, hey, he's been drinking.

Speaker 69 Yeah.

Speaker 56 And that

Speaker 56 takes away, it diminishes him and the sort of aura that he's putting out.

Speaker 56 But he recovers quickly and does his best to make a joke and says,

Speaker 60 I thought this was going to be a funeral, not a reunion.

Speaker 126 The sigil that Octus had started burning into the air

Speaker 62 fizzles.

Speaker 81 I have that effect on many.

Speaker 56 And then through the open window, a massive juvenile canine just

Speaker 56 floats through the air and lands right in the middle of the room, immediately off to his quarter.

Speaker 81 And yeah.

Speaker 127 I fly up in the air.

Speaker 56 And it growls at everyone in the room.

Speaker 56 And slowly walks over to Cat again and sits at him without any command.

Speaker 56 Stops growling and looks looks out at everyone.

Speaker 108 I know that dog.

Speaker 108 What?

Speaker 25 Pin

Speaker 126 comes up on my shoulder and flows in and goes and

Speaker 15 sniffs at

Speaker 109 the dog.

Speaker 126 This little fox made out of pieces of foxes.

Speaker 56 Cadogan's completely confused.

Speaker 129 I've seen this dog in the woods.

Speaker 128 Pin wanders in the woods sometimes, and sometimes I look through his eyes and I see this dog.

Speaker 56 Well, you'd absolutely recognize him because

Speaker 130 Wolfrick, the wolf, not a dog.

Speaker 102 I'm not good at naming things.

Speaker 56 Is armored himself. And it mirrors Cadogan's armor.
On his side is an empty quiver. He even wears a tattered cowl.

Speaker 38 And

Speaker 56 Cadogan knows what's going to happen next. He's just going to tear tear this fox to pieces.
And instead, uh Wolfrick and

Speaker 27 help me

Speaker 27 pin pin

Speaker 56 circle each other

Speaker 56 and Wolfrick takes a submissive pose and Pin just kind of jumps on him in place.

Speaker 56 And Cadigan goes, Won't you look at that? Hey, you've been uh you've been making friends out there without me.

Speaker 99 That's why Pin wanted to wear the scarf.

Speaker 41 I step forward,

Speaker 79 recognizing someone I haven't seen in

Speaker 79 10, 15 years. It's hard to know what.

Speaker 62 Cat.

Speaker 105 It's good to see you.

Speaker 60 You look good, old man.

Speaker 101 What are you doing here?

Speaker 131 Did you know?

Speaker 56 He rubs some of the alcohol out of his eyes.

Speaker 67 The Aussie's pixie.

Speaker 67 Thimble.

Speaker 67 Yeah, right around Thimble, Thimble.

Speaker 64 What's going on here?

Speaker 87 How old are you here?

Speaker 41 Oh, fuck, fuck.

Speaker 19 And he pushes Tayor out of the way and goes, you, I remember you, the boy, the boy.

Speaker 19 Look at that arm. Oh, you got you.

Speaker 110 What are you doing here?

Speaker 102 Oh, I followed you.

Speaker 80 Yeah, you're easy to follow.

Speaker 74 Noisy, loud, clumsy.

Speaker 38 I'm half drunk, and you fucks are easy.

Speaker 14 Listen, we need to leave.

Speaker 55 This is a crime scene, and it's possible that people are gonna come here and find us here.

Speaker 48 Were you here? Were you at

Speaker 77 the execution?

Speaker 77 Yeah.

Speaker 77 Yes.

Speaker 56 And

Speaker 56 Cadogan's mind sort of drifts off to the execution,

Speaker 56 standing cloaked and alone in a crowded space. And

Speaker 78 he's...

Speaker 56 fully in his right mind at this point.

Speaker 56 After what he'd seen in the rural areas surrounding what was happening at the Crofters village, he needed to come into town for a drink, which he rarely comes into the city, very rarely.

Speaker 56 And whispers on the wind

Speaker 56 said a familiar name was in trouble.

Speaker 105 And

Speaker 56 as he watched the execution unfold, in his mind's eye, he sort of painted a picture of

Speaker 2 what could happen.

Speaker 56 And the thing about Cadogan is like

Speaker 56 he's unnerving to be around because

Speaker 32 there's no clue what's going to happen.

Speaker 56 He could get a drink, a handshake, a handful of coin, or a headbutt. You never know.
And in his mind's eye, he sees this scenario where

Speaker 99 he jumps up on stage and

Speaker 56 slices down a guard and frees the Aussie and runs off but catches arrows in the back because there's no way he could do this.

Speaker 56 And he knows he would die doing it. But it sounds like fun.
So he's fantasizing, he's imagining. And as he imagines, the grip is tighter on his club.

Speaker 56 And you feel this sort of feral flight-or-flight energy. And Wolfrick at his side nudges his hand, and his grip lets go.

Speaker 56 And as he comes out of this fantasy and scans the area, he sees

Speaker 56 Teor in the distance, watching.

Speaker 65 And he sees you,

Speaker 58 because you're part of it.

Speaker 56 And he follows them to the funeral, watches them go inside, and almost thinks about joining. And then he hears the cacophony of voices, that part in awake

Speaker 56 where the quiet turns to reverie as people start to become comfortable and celebrate life. And he decides not to go.
And in that moment, as he's turning to walk out,

Speaker 109 all of you step out of the funeral.

Speaker 56 So he decides to follow. And this is where he finds himself.

Speaker 94 Not sure why he's here.

Speaker 26 Looking around at this place,

Speaker 74 even as Azune begins to discuss the urgency of your situation, how bad this is here,

Speaker 74 I think

Speaker 32 it's so second nature that it's almost effortless.

Speaker 32 As Cadogan is surveying the space, go ahead and give me any skill checks you want about what would occur to you in surveying this space. You're, I mean.

Speaker 107 Yeah. Hold on.

Speaker 87 Sure, sure.

Speaker 56 I stumble over and I look at the

Speaker 56 what anybody else would seem like chaos, but I see the footprints. And I see the handprints and I see the

Speaker 56 action unfold. in the remnants of what happened and um I just subtly cast clue

Speaker 56 to myself.

Speaker 132 I fly up and I land on Octus's shoulder while he's doing this.

Speaker 56 And then, as I cast Clue, all of the footprints and fingerprints within a 30-foot radius come to life in my eyes, and they all change different colors.

Speaker 56 And every single one of those footprints and fingerprints, and everything from that battle comes to life, and I see it unfold before me as real as it were happening in this moment.

Speaker 56 And I get this image

Speaker 52 of what unfolded.

Speaker 80 This spell fucking fools.

Speaker 19 Doesn't it?

Speaker 41 Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 94 It doesn't do damage. No one ever uses it.

Speaker 80 Pretty sweet.

Speaker 19 I'll see you. I'll see you.

Speaker 52 Cadigan, you see, you know, Wolfrick, some sort of scent informs everything, sound, and you can even play these like visible footprints and fingerprints.

Speaker 32 You can almost arrange them in time.

Speaker 65 There's a rhythm to them, there's a dance.

Speaker 44 As you do so,

Speaker 85 you will get all the information here that you need, but also feel free to give me a survival.

Speaker 83 And I'll just about to do it with advantage.

Speaker 72 Go ahead and give me survival with advantage or investigation with advantage.

Speaker 109 Survival investigation, sure.

Speaker 81 Ninth cocked.

Speaker 109 I'll take the good one.

Speaker 109 Bad.

Speaker 79 Okay.

Speaker 44 16. 16.
Hell yeah.

Speaker 44 As you begin searching,

Speaker 90 looking throughout this space here,

Speaker 27 you

Speaker 33 watch the fingerprints unfold.

Speaker 89 On that 16

Speaker 102 survival tracks coming in,

Speaker 35 Probably about seven people came in here. Okay.
Fucking temple.

Speaker 27 Damn. Three died.

Speaker 86 And looking at

Speaker 71 the fight that broke out here, they came in, they came in masked, and they came in knowing that there was going to be a fight.

Speaker 93 They were not caught off guard.

Speaker 32 They knew that a fight was waiting for them inside.

Speaker 119 The dead bodies, three of them got dragged out of here.

Speaker 90 In being dragged out, you find

Speaker 37 some

Speaker 26 crow feathers.

Speaker 33 You smell them.

Speaker 89 There's pine resin,

Speaker 15 alcohol, a thick sheen of tobacco smoke.

Speaker 105 These were worn as part of clothing,

Speaker 64 handled.

Speaker 54 Your mind immediately goes to the Crow Keepers, which you know is one of the oldest thieves guilds in Dolmakyar.

Speaker 10 And looking at how these guys fought, these guys fought like

Speaker 121 murderers, not soldiers.

Speaker 31 Meaning that once they found Thimble inside, they didn't know what to do.

Speaker 33 Like the reason that three of them they brought overwhelming numbers thinking that they were going to get the drop on somebody, they absolutely did not.

Speaker 54 And therefore, the fighting was sloppy, but just overwhelming.

Speaker 97 Moreover,

Speaker 71 only about

Speaker 50 just judging by like the boots here

Speaker 122 there's something that's that's troubling to you.

Speaker 35 There's like a

Speaker 83 six of the sets of boots are old, tattered.

Speaker 44 One set is fine.

Speaker 104 Fine.

Speaker 32 And you see fingerprints

Speaker 92 over a mantelpiece where there is shattered glass and see the residue of someone drawing runes against the mantle.

Speaker 109 You detect the presence of sorcery.

Speaker 117 There is a...

Speaker 15 someone broke a glass encasement here to take something.

Speaker 61 And it looks like

Speaker 52 everything of mag like scanning the room, everything of magical import other than this glyph

Speaker 52 is gone.

Speaker 134 You do.

Speaker 33 Once you see, as Cadogan points it out to you,

Speaker 30 the object that you retrieved on your last big adventure with

Speaker 93 Theazi of several months, like a month or two ago, you got back from it.

Speaker 93 The song,

Speaker 93 the night song, right? The stone of night song. The stone of night song.

Speaker 93 What is that? Yeah, I don't know magic. What is that?

Speaker 18 It's a fucking

Speaker 51 black stone with crow

Speaker 51 crows.

Speaker 60 Yeah, yes, uh, crows.

Speaker 100 It's super magical.

Speaker 38 I don't know.

Speaker 19 Why?

Speaker 33 Do I know anything about this? Give me Arcana.

Speaker 86 Give me our kana check.

Speaker 103 Can I?

Speaker 19 Yeah, go for it.

Speaker 19 Um,

Speaker 134 13.

Speaker 107 13. 13.

Speaker 134 21.

Speaker 112 21.

Speaker 57 Um

Speaker 86 on a 21 this uh on a 19 also if any of you have religion you can give me religion.

Speaker 68 It'll be a lower DC.

Speaker 68 No.

Speaker 14 No. On a 21 Arcana.

Speaker 19 Huh?

Speaker 19 I was like I do

Speaker 82 better if I use Arcana.

Speaker 97 21.

Speaker 90 Stone of Night song.

Speaker 32 Yeah, there is a reference to that in the Penteverl.

Speaker 94 Back at the school, there is...

Speaker 33 The Stone of Night Song is referenced

Speaker 54 as

Speaker 97 some relic.

Speaker 33 It came up in something about the Shapers' War.

Speaker 92 It was used by...

Speaker 10 If you're not mistaken, it was an elven

Speaker 106 artifact.

Speaker 129 Right. Yeah.

Speaker 128 Used by the elves in the Shapers' War.

Speaker 26 I don't remember what it does.

Speaker 30 I just remember reading about it.

Speaker 104 Thimble, I'm sorry.

Speaker 87 You were with The Aussie when you collected this item.

Speaker 38 Yeah. You have been.

Speaker 85 A couple weeks ago?

Speaker 122 Yeah, two weeks ago.

Speaker 100 I don't know, we got this

Speaker 100 a few months back.

Speaker 100 This.

Speaker 100 Was it

Speaker 100 connected? Did they just happen to come in at the same time?

Speaker 100 There's no way they would have even known about the hideout.

Speaker 100 something betrayed us

Speaker 38 yes i think so yeah can i see that stone well no they oh shit took it right

Speaker 100 they wanted to draw it for you if they yes actually that would be very helpful can i find a scrap piece of paper and yeah all right i'll pick up the pencil and like slowly walk as you draw it it's a spherical it's a spherical stone that is a sort of like

Speaker 67 perpendicular embrace of wings of some kind of like

Speaker 85 you know, it could have been a crow, but also I think you'd heard Theazzi refer to it as a nightingale.

Speaker 19 A nightingale.

Speaker 27 It's a bird.

Speaker 54 That

Speaker 67 looks like it's embracing itself in its wings to create a sphere, and it's a carved stone.

Speaker 93 I'm like kind of taking a mental image of that.

Speaker 100 You can take the piece of paper I drew it for you.

Speaker 130 Well, thank you.

Speaker 35 I'll take that.

Speaker 109 I know someone actually who could help us.

Speaker 81 Kat,

Speaker 100 This is Cat again. He ditched us after a battle.

Speaker 129 So, no?

Speaker 101 Um, this is Tinotayor and yes, he has a bit better there. Yeah.

Speaker 102 The cat is a fierce warrior and a good man.

Speaker 105 Oh well one of those okay great

Speaker 80 did you come here categorical for the just by happenstance or did you did you hear I'm sorry I wasn't following completely you heard you knew the execution what'd you say did you know about Tiazzi did you know that he was whispers on the wind and all that I heard about it yeah

Speaker 26 I was um

Speaker 56 I was finishing out a contract.

Speaker 55 I'm a very very highly sought-after

Speaker 56 bounty hunter and

Speaker 60 warrior of the people, if you will.

Speaker 56 And at that, Wolfrick just goes and just sneezes.

Speaker 48 Don't worry about him.

Speaker 119 But yeah, there's.

Speaker 60 Well, you know, you know, Pinebow?

Speaker 118 No, you don't.

Speaker 79 You don't fucking know Pinebow, do you?

Speaker 118 You wouldn't, would you?

Speaker 115 I don't know if I would.

Speaker 118 Yes. City folk, city folk.

Speaker 109 It's all right.

Speaker 118 Pinebow, it's a little

Speaker 56 agricultural community crafters. They make all sorts of things.

Speaker 121 Huh?

Speaker 19 It's at house. Oh.

Speaker 94 Can we go? Yes, we can.

Speaker 87 Let's go.

Speaker 123 The letter.

Speaker 100 Can I look around? Is the letter still here?

Speaker 53 Give me an investigation check with advantage.

Speaker 100 My dice.

Speaker 27 13.

Speaker 19 13. With advantage.
With advantage.

Speaker 41 The teeniest little fairy Oh my god.

Speaker 27 We can't read it. No.

Speaker 129 Yes, correct.

Speaker 100 I really can't read it.

Speaker 84 Three.

Speaker 13 Fuck.

Speaker 41 Inside check.

Speaker 96 You get a 13? Yes.

Speaker 90 13.

Speaker 33 Taking a moment.

Speaker 97 I would say I'm a 13.

Speaker 93 It takes some time, but you know you can't leave without it.

Speaker 89 So with some help, there is something of

Speaker 109 Fiazis that you absolutely cannot leave here without.

Speaker 71 And you end up

Speaker 25 finding a letter with a single name on it.

Speaker 19 Bolaire.

Speaker 30 Finally, you find it.

Speaker 86 And as we see the name Bolaire on this letter, we must return to the holder of the name, which means returning to the Fang family home.

Speaker 21 Thank you for your time at the table.

Speaker 41 Let's go.

Speaker 19 And I'd love our funeral goers to come home back.

Speaker 82 Break everything.

Speaker 123 We're in this place.

Speaker 82 We're coming. We're coming.
Points, points. Yep, yep, yep.

Speaker 142 Points, points.

Speaker 41 Table swap.

Speaker 17 Wow, wow, table, wow. Table swap.

Speaker 42 I'll just leave that.

Speaker 135 Whole campaign is going to be like that.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 143 Over. What? Why?

Speaker 41 I didn't know.

Speaker 82 People were getting cold by you.

Speaker 41 Jesus.

Speaker 41 I need a woman. I'll just sit by you.

Speaker 19 Damn. I'll sit by you.

Speaker 41 I'm here.

Speaker 53 But wait a minute.

Speaker 14 But hold on, but wait a minute.

Speaker 105 What do we want?

Speaker 17 Well, because we have everyone at the funeral, but as I said, the name, we should have its holder. Talis and Jabby, would you come out and join us, please? Yeah!

Speaker 110 Hello.

Speaker 110 Sit on our side.

Speaker 82 So, here, take this guy here.

Speaker 76 Spilled my drink. Sour.

Speaker 124 That's okay.

Speaker 81 So many things.

Speaker 19 Wow.

Speaker 101 That was beautiful. It was crazy.
Lovely. That was great.

Speaker 22 Incredible.

Speaker 96 Walking up the cobblestone street to the top of the rookery,

Speaker 47 we see

Speaker 120 the holder of this name on this letter

Speaker 92 in the wreckage of Theazzi's hiding spot.

Speaker 93 However, unlike the chaos that unfolds in that room,

Speaker 73 I think a rather dashing figure now approaches the home.

Speaker 96 Talisman, would you please describe your character for us as he approaches?

Speaker 19 Well,

Speaker 76 Bolaire currently is holding his cloak in his hand, which normally he will

Speaker 76 wear to kind of keep a low profile, but considering that he knows exactly where he's going and is prepared to be a bit of a spectacle, is showing off.

Speaker 42 He wears a very fine

Speaker 76 set of clothing. It's not very rich, but it certainly has money and a bit of

Speaker 76 somewhere between ostentatious taste and trying to blend in, but really not wanting to.

Speaker 76 He wears black leather and suede

Speaker 76 tied over an underlayer of

Speaker 76 deep red crimson.

Speaker 109 He is covered head to toe

Speaker 76 from gloves all the way up to a high neck.

Speaker 145 He has very long curly dark red hair.

Speaker 76 And the most notable thing about Bolaire is that he wears a mask

Speaker 76 and this mask is a

Speaker 66 gray clay

Speaker 76 with dark gray almost black lips.

Speaker 76 and very, very

Speaker 76 large empty pools of blackness where each eye should be with a cut to indicate possibly tears that run down the face.

Speaker 76 Deep within these black pools you can see tiny blue reflected lights almost like a cat hiding in a shadow at night

Speaker 76 and that's what blinks instead of the mask deep, deep within.

Speaker 76 This would be even more disturbing as, as he approaches the door, the mask itself

Speaker 76 sighs and moves just like a real face.

Speaker 117 Sighing at the door, you are about to walk in to the home of a friend and the funeral.

Speaker 115 Not of a friend.

Speaker 77 I don't know Theazi very well.

Speaker 76 My dealings with him are

Speaker 81 private

Speaker 143 and

Speaker 76 often through

Speaker 76 an intermediary.

Speaker 81 But

Speaker 81 I did go

Speaker 76 to the execution.

Speaker 76 Thinking back

Speaker 107 there

Speaker 133 in the shadows, higher up in the seats at the back

Speaker 34 of the nobles' viewing gallery,

Speaker 33 you yourself not a noble, but one who

Speaker 32 deals in matters of nobility, welcome in the spaces afforded to nobles.

Speaker 70 You look down.

Speaker 68 and see Theazi's final words.

Speaker 65 What were you feeling in those last moments before the rope went taut?

Speaker 76 I was there to see who was going to help him.

Speaker 76 He's far too clever to let this be the end of him.

Speaker 76 And it's better to see things in person because second-hand accounts are even more unreliable than first ones.

Speaker 76 I needed to know who had that kind of power and who decided to exercise it.

Speaker 76 Sadly, my empty seat next to me for my companion who decided not to show, I'm not terribly surprised, but it would have been nice to have company. But I'm perfectly happy to sit and not

Speaker 76 have to make a face.

Speaker 32 Theazi's final moment.

Speaker 115 An incredible show of force.

Speaker 67 The first execution in the history of the city of Dolmakyar, carried out exclusively under the authority of the Chamber of the Lord's Advisory.

Speaker 48 An auspicious day for the power of the sundered houses.

Speaker 48 Fuck.

Speaker 38 The memory fades.

Speaker 43 And you approach the house of Hallandil Fang.

Speaker 52 You enter within and see

Speaker 83 Tysha Loy

Speaker 53 of the Domakyar Lois

Speaker 16 absolutely shit-faced, holding a demon's ear.

Speaker 97 She is mid-druidic rant,

Speaker 111 but you can see that there are streaks of tears down her cheeks.

Speaker 111 And she looks up at you and doesn't want to break the rant.

Speaker 111 And you see her blink, and then you see a second set of eyelids blink, and her voice continues, but now it's on the other side of the room as I burn a wild shape to summon Holla, my wild companion, who continues the rites in my stead so I can turn turn and address you.

Speaker 19 Welcome.

Speaker 95 I would ask if you're alright, but

Speaker 87 this is, even for you, impressive.

Speaker 111 It's been a while.

Speaker 76 I'm sorry for showing up like this, but I assumed you would need help.

Speaker 76 And I'm more than happy to

Speaker 76 distract some of the more

Speaker 144 inappropriate people who you look very familiar.

Speaker 38 I'm Tyranny.

Speaker 38 Tyranny.

Speaker 4 Tyranny. You look so familiar.
I just can't put my face on it. I may name my finger on your face.

Speaker 18 I can't put my finger on your face.

Speaker 19 I really wouldn't.

Speaker 76 You came to the gala

Speaker 96 six months ago.

Speaker 127 You did at the museum.

Speaker 76 Do you remember?

Speaker 4 First and only party.

Speaker 39 I don't remember much of it.

Speaker 76 We are well aware because you did, in fact, manage to elude security for nearly 15 minutes before we found you having thrown up into one of the only three remaining urns

Speaker 19 of the eyes of Kellun.

Speaker 127 It's alright.

Speaker 76 Now we use it as a teaching exercise in the cleaning of antiquities.

Speaker 4 Oh, oh, that's great. So I helped.

Speaker 95 I suppose you could see it.

Speaker 19 I have, hold on.

Speaker 111 I have a thing for you.

Speaker 81 I do. do.

Speaker 111 A box. Did I give it to Octus? Where is Octus?

Speaker 19 Octus is here.

Speaker 131 Where did...

Speaker 146 Where is my...

Speaker 93 As you look around, I think, Wick and how you guys descend the staircase from on high, how you can see that the fullness of the gathering is here now.

Speaker 16 Like, there are a lot of...

Speaker 10 You see some of Theazzi's more criminal

Speaker 92 associates here.

Speaker 33 There are some like arconists and occultists in the space.

Speaker 10 A lot of neighborhood people, a lot of family friends.

Speaker 114 But the house is full and people are coming up to the table as Taisha's deer, Hala, is standing with its nose sort of down towards the top of Theazi's head as he is laid out on the table, his arms crossed.

Speaker 114 You see a bunch of family friends are coming and putting like uh you know brass rings and adornments on his fingers and laying brooches or necklaces across his chest.

Speaker 90 So he's sort of being like gathered up with small treasures and trinkets here on his viewing.

Speaker 111 Halandila, where is my son? I have to give the box.

Speaker 16 Oh, dear.

Speaker 148 You're asking me about Al?

Speaker 27 Um,

Speaker 38 no, no.

Speaker 27 Um, the Octus.

Speaker 132 Sorry, where is Octus?

Speaker 102 I've been upstairs for uh a little bit.

Speaker 81 I don't know.

Speaker 102 Is he here?

Speaker 58 No. I say, as I pet your deer by my brother's body.

Speaker 62 body.

Speaker 149 You see walking in through the door

Speaker 92 a beautiful merchant woman who looks about in her like early 40s, a gorgeous gown made of like rich imported textiles

Speaker 53 and a young half-work daughter with her.

Speaker 85 This is a human woman who's walking in with her half-work daughter.

Speaker 92 She looks up at you.

Speaker 85 This is your daughter, Hero.

Speaker 24 Looks up and goes, Hi, Dad.

Speaker 38 Hey, dear.

Speaker 91 She runs over and gives you a hug.

Speaker 94 Elodie looks over and says,

Speaker 102 Tysha, hello. Hi.

Speaker 40 I'm trying to lock in so much.

Speaker 15 Do you want to use the Druidcraft cantrip to instantly soberize yourself?

Speaker 15 Woo!

Speaker 19 We're so good.

Speaker 41 She walks up to you, and Elod

Speaker 87 goes, Tysha, hello. Hi, how are you?

Speaker 19 Awful. Yeah.

Speaker 129 So sorry. Were you there today?

Speaker 129 Yeah.

Speaker 117 She looks over

Speaker 15 and gives you a big hug.

Speaker 15 I'm so sorry.

Speaker 15 Thank you.

Speaker 27 How are you doing?

Speaker 27 To hero.

Speaker 67 You see, she goes,

Speaker 22 well,

Speaker 35 any report from my own life would be

Speaker 119 improperly positive for the events that we now face together.

Speaker 58 Business is well in life as well, and let us say no more of it than that.

Speaker 65 I lean forward and kiss her on the forehead.

Speaker 94 She puts her forehead against your face as well.

Speaker 24 You see, she looks and says, Oh, Master Lothalia, it's a pleasure to see you.

Speaker 10 I believe I saw you elsewhere in the

Speaker 54 viewing gallery.

Speaker 29 Thank you for being here.

Speaker 148 And

Speaker 148 neither I nor my family blinks at this mask, which to a stranger might

Speaker 148 set somebody back a pace or two, but

Speaker 85 not a wink at it.

Speaker 76 I'm here for whatever you need, including hopefully distracting some of the more difficult elements.

Speaker 81 This

Speaker 95 stays for you at this point.

Speaker 145 We're feeling it out. We're all feeling it out.

Speaker 145 Thank you for coming, of course.

Speaker 86 Um, I think, Sam, you're holding the sentiment.

Speaker 135 I don't have a good time to give it to him, but I guess now is a good time.

Speaker 14 If you, if you can, you can absolutely stand here.

Speaker 16 You see that a

Speaker 23 um

Speaker 83 there is a beast folk warrior

Speaker 92 looking over who's speaking to this orcish woman Loza.

Speaker 43 You see

Speaker 42 it looks over this.

Speaker 33 He's got a massive boar's head, brawny body, big stomach.

Speaker 33 It looks over as you're holding the scimitar.

Speaker 149 He looks over and goes,

Speaker 93 oh, the Aussie's sword. Nice.

Speaker 135 Right, right, right, right, of course.

Speaker 142 Tyranny, Tyranny, okay.

Speaker 4 Hey, are you still in trouble?

Speaker 129 No, I mean,

Speaker 135 yes, a little bit. Okay.
That's beside the point.

Speaker 18 I have something to tell you.

Speaker 4 Have you been drinking? Yeah, I know, I know.

Speaker 4 Tyranny. Ember verse 151 Cloud Not the Spark with Poison.

Speaker 82 Red?

Speaker 50 Remember?

Speaker 135 But you did cloud the spark.

Speaker 131 Yeah. Okay, okay, okay,

Speaker 4 listen. Everybody here's, everyone here is drinking, and so I kind of feel like because you people don't really know.

Speaker 135 Tyranny, I'm going to cast thaumaturgy and yell three times my normal volume.

Speaker 27 Tyranny!

Speaker 135 Be still.

Speaker 101 Yes, Iranians.

Speaker 4 I'm gonna read some hymns.

Speaker 38 You can go in the corner and start reading hymns.

Speaker 148 I uh through all through that like bubbling up bickering, Hal has just been sort of like looking through it at Bolaire and thinking about his brother's words until that voice shatters the room.

Speaker 148 I whip back.

Speaker 134 I'm sorry, sorry, sorry.

Speaker 135 Um, sorry.

Speaker 135 I hadn't found a good time to present this to you, but um, on behalf of the head of our family, please accept this, your brother's blade oh

Speaker 135 oh my

Speaker 135 uh well

Speaker 135 thank you wick

Speaker 135 um

Speaker 85 that is a a kindness i i

Speaker 30 as the sword crosses sort of the

Speaker 54 Media Cruces of your home, it passes like over the doorway, or like the door is on the other side of the room.

Speaker 89 As the sword exchanges hands, a figure enters the door that knows that sword quite well.

Speaker 61 You could only hope.

Speaker 19 Clean cup. Yep, yep.
It's like.

Speaker 82 Thank you.

Speaker 38 Aha!

Speaker 144 Hi, Matt! Hello, everybody.

Speaker 146 Wait, what was his vibe coming in?

Speaker 112 We're about to find out because we're about to find out what his vibe was immediately prior to coming in.

Speaker 119 A gleaming green and golden carriage, baroque and wrought all throughout, stylized and gilded, borne forward by a team of four snow-white horses,

Speaker 66 glides up the street.

Speaker 28 Carriage of the sundered house of Royce.

Speaker 36 Seated in the back,

Speaker 66 a grieving widow,

Speaker 83 in years only of some 40-odd, and her gorgeous, gleaming green gown, bedecked with jewels, tears streaming down her face as she stares ahead, shattered.

Speaker 38 She holds in her hand a wedding ring.

Speaker 27 One she has not worn on her hand in many years,

Speaker 32 but has never let stray beyond her person.

Speaker 32 To her left, one of her oldest childhood friends.

Speaker 117 Matt, would you please describe your character?

Speaker 19 Yes.

Speaker 77 You see a human man

Speaker 69 just about to crest into his 30s.

Speaker 86 Lanky, compact build.

Speaker 124 sealed within a

Speaker 81 reinforced leather military uniform of House De Vinos, the vassal house II, the centered house of Reus,

Speaker 124 in dark purples and grey with red trim.

Speaker 124 You see across the right shoulder an intricate silver metal pauldron and the other shoulder itself hidden within a dark green short cape with intricate designs of vine and flower kind of sewn through it.

Speaker 124 Himself, a very stern, kind of stoic look as he just kind of stares into the opposite side of the carriage.

Speaker 77 His long, heavily curly black hair kind of tumbling past his shoulders,

Speaker 124 his other hand kind of resting on his knee while his sheathed rapier sits on his left hip as he just kind of rides in the carriage.

Speaker 70 Staring forward,

Speaker 35 Aranessa is falling apart beside you.

Speaker 117 It's hard to

Speaker 32 tell in this moment compared to someone openly grieving how Julian is doing.

Speaker 115 We move back to the gallery,

Speaker 74 viewing the execution.

Speaker 70 Looking down,

Speaker 32 you sit next to an empty seat.

Speaker 35 You're not sure, sure, back in the carriage, whether Aranessa saw Theazi's final moments or not.

Speaker 37 Her seat was empty beside you, though you knew that she was not far away.

Speaker 66 So, with that amount of privacy,

Speaker 133 what was Sir Julian De Vinos thinking as he watched the final moments of Theazi Fang?

Speaker 145 He sits arms crossed in his chair,

Speaker 124 looking down from his elevated,

Speaker 109 noble box view of this execution.

Speaker 124 His hair tumbled past one half of his face.

Speaker 99 And the faintest little grin peeks at the corner of his mouth.

Speaker 99 And that's all.

Speaker 32 As the body dangles,

Speaker 93 nobles around you you

Speaker 54 rise.

Speaker 31 You see

Speaker 35 a hand slaps on your back

Speaker 35 from

Speaker 115 a noble of a

Speaker 64 house that fought under, you think, the hale of ours.

Speaker 71 It's an older gentleman who sort of slaps you, thinks maybe from the Maltaire or the Agerion family.

Speaker 54 He just slaps you on the shoulder and goes,

Speaker 63 They shouldn't let you do the honors, eh?

Speaker 69 Yeah, unfortunately, such honors are not given to those who deserve it, my friend.

Speaker 81 But uh...

Speaker 78 Well, there is further glory to have regardless, yes?

Speaker 48 Oh, for the hero of the Battle of Marlane Falls, the man who brought the Yassifeng

Speaker 61 to heal.

Speaker 48 You'd think that they'd let you.

Speaker 28 It's an honor, Julian.

Speaker 65 Jacques. Jacques Maltaire.

Speaker 117 It's a pleasure.

Speaker 134 Jacques.

Speaker 124 And he takes his hand and kind of holds it and just holds it steady as he he makes his eye contact directly.

Speaker 99 It has been quite some time, and with time some things

Speaker 62 are forgotten.

Speaker 99 So while the honor is not mine, I appreciate you acknowledging such a

Speaker 134 historied

Speaker 81 walk of grace.

Speaker 15 Having no idea what to make of this interaction, Jacques Monster says,

Speaker 38 Good on you,

Speaker 10 And walks as you

Speaker 38 look

Speaker 122 and

Speaker 10 you see as you come out of reverie, you are approaching this place.

Speaker 149 Aranessa has started to look out the window.

Speaker 38 These homes are so lovely.

Speaker 38 They are um

Speaker 99 and he kind of just trails off for a second and gets lost, that's all I thought for a second before shaking free of it.

Speaker 124 My lady, um, and he reaches into his cloak, pulls it back, and you can see as the cloak kind of gets turned aside, his left hand itself is

Speaker 27 fully

Speaker 124 kind of wrapped in an intricate metal gauntlet of dark silver itself, like deeply filigreed and multiple plates of it. It almost looks unbalanced compared to the rest of his thin frame.

Speaker 124 But as it kind of reveals it briefly, he peeks into his kind of inside of his

Speaker 81 coat, his leather kind of tunic, and pulls forth a

Speaker 79 nice little piece of white cloth and hands it over to the lady.

Speaker 114 She wipes her eyes with it.

Speaker 114 It was awful.

Speaker 114 It was awful.

Speaker 69 My lady, I do not mean to speak out of turn here.

Speaker 62 I'm a bit taken aback.

Speaker 62 You.

Speaker 99 We are no strangers to the history of violence, and

Speaker 78 Theazi,

Speaker 69 whatever memories you cling to is not the man that you once loved.

Speaker 134 He wouldn't be there if he was, yes?

Speaker 35 I married a dashing hero

Speaker 150 from the very end of the War of Axen Vine.

Speaker 35 The adventurer rogue

Speaker 37 a pixie by his side and magic in his eyes.

Speaker 98 And two years later, he took up the banner of

Speaker 25 rebellion.

Speaker 85 And my grandfather.

Speaker 32 My grandfather sided

Speaker 78 with the Halovars and the Taconises.

Speaker 114 Perhaps these things are faded.

Speaker 32 Two points of light exist in constellation that the night sky grows between them.

Speaker 114 What I can tell you is this.

Speaker 32 When you knocked my husband off his horse and brought him to justice, and he was given clemency, Julian,

Speaker 35 he told me to run away with him.

Speaker 35 And I said no.

Speaker 67 I've loved that man every year since of the long years we have been apart.

Speaker 67 And when he died,

Speaker 67 I hid.

Speaker 15 Love doesn't go away so easily,

Speaker 28 it stays,

Speaker 28 Even if people

Speaker 32 turn their back and walk away, they leave some part of themselves.

Speaker 35 That's what loving someone is.

Speaker 99 Be that as it may, he made his choice.

Speaker 99 And he chose his pride over your love.

Speaker 99 And he's paid for it now twice over.

Speaker 67 and we are here

Speaker 59 and we can mourn

Speaker 99 as you feel is necessary

Speaker 78 but we also live because we have been smart

Speaker 2 and we will continue to live

Speaker 62 I've got you

Speaker 124 puts his hand on hers and holds it

Speaker 69 I will also protect you

Speaker 99 from your your own unnecessary emotional pain

Speaker 59 if need be

Speaker 26 people can really hurt themselves,

Speaker 98 Julian,

Speaker 65 trying to protect themselves from pain.

Speaker 35 Mine is mine to feel, my friend.

Speaker 15 And she squeezes your hand.

Speaker 26 You see,

Speaker 66 you arrive.

Speaker 74 She looks and opens a small pocket mirror, seeing that she is,

Speaker 35 you know, in grieving, partially disheveled herself, and said, Give me a moment in the carriage, if you would. Of course.

Speaker 35 Stepping forward, you enter the doorway.

Speaker 95 This is a kindness. I

Speaker 129 don't know what to say.

Speaker 99 I know your intentions are

Speaker 99 in the right place, and

Speaker 99 I am grateful.

Speaker 45 Grateful for that.

Speaker 45 I will, um

Speaker 27 I will ask my family, um,

Speaker 2 for more information, if that will

Speaker 135 help settle this in any way.

Speaker 148 Well, I'll tell you what, why don't we, for the time being, just let

Speaker 78 sleeping dogs lie.

Speaker 99 We can pick up the pieces in the

Speaker 99 next couple of days, certainly.

Speaker 35 You look over and see

Speaker 133 Hal stepping up next to you

Speaker 35 is Fiazi's old commander, Loza Blade,

Speaker 26 who walks up and says,

Speaker 15 The Aussie's sword.

Speaker 67 A kindness for you to bring that, my lord Halevar.

Speaker 77 It was nothing, really.

Speaker 77 Uh

Speaker 36 might I speak with you for a moment, if that's all right?

Speaker 134 Oh, um, yes.

Speaker 87 Uh pardon me, Helen. Of course.

Speaker 81 Of course.

Speaker 135 And Bolaire, it's so great to see you again.

Speaker 135 Uh

Speaker 76 I'm so sorry, I do recognize you. What was your name again?

Speaker 126 Light Priest Wickander

Speaker 135 Helivar. We spoke at great length at a few of your different galas.

Speaker 78 I've meet a lot of people, but it is a pleasure.

Speaker 76 Hello. Oh.

Speaker 27 All right.

Speaker 76 You're very handsome.

Speaker 52 Thank you.

Speaker 32 You see that the bore man goes, you are.

Speaker 13 You are.

Speaker 13 A bit young.

Speaker 41 Okay. All right.

Speaker 19 He looks over and says, are you in the goat?

Speaker 135 The goat.

Speaker 14 Are you in the goat?

Speaker 135 No, she's my aspirant.

Speaker 30 She's my aspirant.

Speaker 107 Oh, sorry. I didn't know.

Speaker 19 No, no, no. Never mind.
Never mind.

Speaker 14 She is not too...

Speaker 86 I don't know.

Speaker 38 Am I hearing?

Speaker 19 Yes, you are.

Speaker 41 She is not to.

Speaker 81 I'm not choking on my drink right now.

Speaker 123 She is not to taste of the flesh.

Speaker 135 She's not to.

Speaker 14 Yeah, but Ricochet.

Speaker 33 I'm kind of hitting on you by the way. No,

Speaker 123 she is not to taste of the flesh.

Speaker 135 She is pure ricochet.

Speaker 19 Oh, man.

Speaker 41 Ever bright. This guy's worth a funeral, Roland.
Ever bright, ever right.

Speaker 4 Ever right. I can be so good for you.
I just memorized a hymn.

Speaker 4 I just got put in my place in the basement. It's flooded.

Speaker 146 I pat you on the shoulder.

Speaker 111 I just want to give you a little like druid craft bump if you need it.

Speaker 38 Can I have that?

Speaker 14 Yeah, sure. Yeah, please.
So brought up.

Speaker 146 Bull guidance.

Speaker 144 Is this sort of a religious thing?

Speaker 76 You can't, or is this like actually an apparitional thing where you would just vanish in a puff of

Speaker 19 stone? Is that salt?

Speaker 108 I'm here. I'm real.

Speaker 4 I'd throw up in your vase.

Speaker 144 Yeah, but I mean, if you

Speaker 127 copulate it, is that the word everything I'm going to feel like I'm going to use?

Speaker 135 Hide your ears from this

Speaker 19 disgusting talk.

Speaker 38 I don't think it's

Speaker 46 a good one.

Speaker 42 Loza Blade looks over to you and says,

Speaker 74 I just wished to speak with you if I could, because

Speaker 106 are all funerals this fun?

Speaker 135 No.

Speaker 77 Pardon me, everyone.

Speaker 125 I'll go over to Loza.

Speaker 24 She looks over and just says,

Speaker 67 My companion, Teor, and I have traveled here for Theazi's funeral,

Speaker 15 and I'm retiring.

Speaker 32 My family lives further into Kahad, near Dorunya.

Speaker 62 But

Speaker 113 I wished to speak because

Speaker 35 with my retiring, my companion is a noble guardian and

Speaker 61 has worked for many noble houses and causes throughout Pasatar and many realms.

Speaker 113 I just wished to speak because I have not been in Dolnakyar in some time, but if you are looking for

Speaker 74 security or a bodyguard of any kind, I know that

Speaker 30 obviously the House of Hale of Ar is well equipped and manned, but he is loyal and shrewd and a

Speaker 25 fine warrior.

Speaker 135 You're talking about this Teor?

Speaker 48 Yes, yes, yes, yes, my companion, the Nama, who.

Speaker 135 Yes, I think I saw him earlier.

Speaker 135 Well, I could speak to my uncle who does our security, or my father. Well, he wouldn't.

Speaker 123 Perhaps Perhaps my grandmother.

Speaker 149 Do you know what?

Speaker 27 I

Speaker 134 could

Speaker 135 make arrangements to hire such an individual myself.

Speaker 19 Splendid.

Speaker 19 Yeah. Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 He's the keys or guy.

Speaker 33 Then, then,

Speaker 54 I believe that

Speaker 43 the estate of the Halo Vars, the Via Aurora, yes?

Speaker 135 That's our estate in town, yes.

Speaker 99 If I were to call on you there to inquire, not doing business here here at the ceremony but perhaps tomorrow or so or sometime i i it would be my honor to to uh to help you find a good place for your companion i'm i'm grateful my lord habelbar thank you thank you

Speaker 88 uh

Speaker 35 julian entering the home uh you see

Speaker 111 yeah uh the jasmine i always liked lady are nasa

Speaker 111 so as the carriage approached, all of that jasmine grew in and grew in lush, less flowers and more vines and that green, the seeing green of your, of her house.

Speaker 111 But the moment you step out of the carriage, I bid every bit of greenery, every plant to wither around your feet as you approach this home.

Speaker 149 No green for you.

Speaker 124 I barely cross the threshold. Like with Aaronessa taking a moment inside, I step barely in the door and then lean against it and just kind of observe the party as I wait for her.

Speaker 32 A moment later, Aranessa emerges and extends her elbow.

Speaker 65 I take it.

Speaker 35 As you enter, she looks and goes...

Speaker 35 How?

Speaker 61 And

Speaker 15 moves forward and very gingerly, you know, like

Speaker 10 no one's coming up and bowing and curtsying.

Speaker 122 She just goes forward and awkwardly extends her arms for an embrace.

Speaker 122 Caught off guard

Speaker 122 and

Speaker 122 return

Speaker 122 her hug.

Speaker 32 She gives you a hug, and she looks and sees the body on the table.

Speaker 32 Oh no.

Speaker 32 I had hoped

Speaker 32 against hope

Speaker 32 maybe

Speaker 32 you would have been able to

Speaker 54 see here she makes eye contact with Wick

Speaker 44 give me an insight check Sam okay

Speaker 79 Insights. This hain is like a tiny every

Speaker 45 10 years.

Speaker 105 Seven.

Speaker 21 Um, on a seven,

Speaker 16 um, uh, you see her eyes go over to you, and Hal, you give me an insight check as well here. As her eyes go over to you, she says, My Lord Halovar,

Speaker 83 pleasure to see you.

Speaker 135 And condolences. Um,

Speaker 135 House Halovar extends our deepest sympathies to to all who loved Theazi.

Speaker 59 Of course.

Speaker 26 It is a kindness for the House of Halovar

Speaker 105 to pay.

Speaker 35 What a burden it must be to see justice served when you would wish for some other outcome.

Speaker 135 We did, we certainly did. We wished, not only wished, we worked towards some other outcome.
It was not.

Speaker 134 Yes.

Speaker 52 You want to insight check here?

Speaker 20 How can you?

Speaker 81 23.

Speaker 86 Aranessa,

Speaker 107 your

Speaker 94 always technically legally sister-in-law, even though she and Theazi did not see each other for many, many years, is looking at young Wakander with a barely concealed rage.

Speaker 94 Aranessa is way better than this.

Speaker 83 She, and what'd you get?

Speaker 85 22. 22.

Speaker 97 Aranessa is barely holding on.

Speaker 94 The level of vulgarity in how open she is being is a danger to her house

Speaker 76 uh she just looks and goes uh you on a seven do not get that no she goes she looks at you and just goes it's uh oh yeah sorry bullying i want to gently just push the children back and get in front of them because this is a lot yeah um she just looks and says

Speaker 34 i can imagine how hard you are working yesterday i arrived at the via aurora to speak uh with your mother and waited for some two or three hours.

Speaker 32 I assume that there must have been some work.

Speaker 92 Perhaps that was what garnered her time to that degree.

Speaker 111 I'm in Tyranny's ear.

Speaker 82 Guidance.

Speaker 106 Get him out of here.

Speaker 135 I'm certain that she was just

Speaker 135 doing some of her charity works, perhaps, or

Speaker 39 I throw up.

Speaker 27 Oh!

Speaker 4 Oh, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 19 It's ever right, ever right.

Speaker 4 We have to leave. I feel so bad.

Speaker 4 I'm so sorry. We gotta go.

Speaker 135 I'm so sorry. Apologies, Helen.

Speaker 4 I'm so sorry. I'm trying really hard to be good.

Speaker 19 Apologies.

Speaker 51 I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 Let's go.

Speaker 110 She is not. She's trying.

Speaker 16 Oh, you see, all good comes up and gives you a tall thing of water and puts a little melting alchemical tablet in it.

Speaker 119 Yeah, the yard grass will do that every time.

Speaker 61 Oh, my God.

Speaker 152 I love you so much.

Speaker 41 He's all good. We will.

Speaker 135 We will worship to clear this out of your system.

Speaker 111 We don't need any of that.

Speaker 18 I think we should go.

Speaker 77 Yes.

Speaker 135 Yes,

Speaker 135 I think we should go.

Speaker 120 Aranus looks and says,

Speaker 114 important charity works.

Speaker 64 Well, it is as ever an honor to be

Speaker 35 represented on the Chamber of the Lord's Advisory.

Speaker 52 To think

Speaker 114 how far we've come since the Shapers War that our houses are so aligned now.

Speaker 135 It is lovely, isn't it?

Speaker 50 And of course,

Speaker 83 I keep calling you my Lord, but you are all priests now.

Speaker 135 Yes, I'm a light priest.

Speaker 54 Congratulations.

Speaker 86 you can you can

Speaker 94 i mean most people uh use uh your radiance with me but

Speaker 124 julian steps forward a little bit puts his hand on uh lady ornest

Speaker 118 my lady um

Speaker 44 for a moment and have some rest uh you have not had a moment yet with the body rest no i'm fascinated at the a worship of i think the light yes

Speaker 19 we're gonna go we're We're going to go. We're going to go.
Not even

Speaker 41 thank you.

Speaker 123 And bid you all farewell.

Speaker 43 And you guys.

Speaker 19 You guys head out. Okay.

Speaker 19 Bye. It was good to see you.

Speaker 135 Do you know what?

Speaker 96 I think I know him, too.

Speaker 39 Should I say hi? No, I think we should go.

Speaker 50 Let me do a Henry. You're Julian, right?

Speaker 84 May the light guide your soul.

Speaker 20 Wonderful day, Wiggins.

Speaker 41 Maybe you should say hi before.

Speaker 19 Take care.

Speaker 127 Wherever you end up, forever, hopefully.

Speaker 19 Excuse me.

Speaker 16 Aaronessa grabs her arm so hard and goes, they worship the light.

Speaker 149 Don't you understand?

Speaker 50 It's a divinity

Speaker 89 without the inconvenience of having a voice or perspective.

Speaker 61 I have missed you so much, my lady.

Speaker 18 And I give you a big bow and then a huge hug and lift her up.

Speaker 16 She gives you a huge bow.

Speaker 149 Or she gives you a huge hug in return. Looks around and says,

Speaker 91 I have not comported myself in a ladylike fashion.

Speaker 98 You're fine. We're mourning.

Speaker 70 Hal, may we approach

Speaker 35 your brother's body?

Speaker 28 Please.

Speaker 64 Please.

Speaker 33 She walks up. Now there is a veritable

Speaker 26 trove.

Speaker 68 You know, bracers and necklaces and candles and boxes.

Speaker 16 You see that there are, around his legs, there are just piles and piles of these little wax paper, like street food snacks from Dolmakyar.

Speaker 38 There's like

Speaker 83 little sort of like fried, look,

Speaker 35 you know, almost like

Speaker 32 little doughy, sugary, fried things that are gathered around.

Speaker 71 There are candied, like nuts and fruits and things like that, and all little candles burning everywhere.

Speaker 9 She steps up,

Speaker 36 looks at his face, and goes.

Speaker 36 Oh, he's gone.

Speaker 34 She leans down and kisses his cheek,

Speaker 36 gives him a kiss on the lips.

Speaker 85 A tear falls from her eye across his cheek.

Speaker 85 He is gone.

Speaker 111 Those of us who don't believe that you get

Speaker 38 recycled into the light or whatever,

Speaker 111 he is returned.

Speaker 111 He's

Speaker 101 he is a part of the story and the song of this world

Speaker 101 changed us all

Speaker 101 indeed.

Speaker 27 A word,

Speaker 27 sir,

Speaker 27 if you will.

Speaker 27 Takes Arnessa

Speaker 79 by the hand.

Speaker 99 I'll return shortly.

Speaker 69 If you need anything, call out.

Speaker 70 Yes, Julian, thank you.

Speaker 2 I kneel down and turn to the children after all of this.

Speaker 76 Now, I hope we all just learned that we have to be kind and forgive the idiocy of people at funerals and weddings. Do we understand?

Speaker 43 You see, Shadia says,

Speaker 34 We do, Mr.

Speaker 44 Bolaire.

Speaker 114 Thank you so much for the kind lesson.

Speaker 113 You see, Hero looks up at you and says, Why specifically funerals and weddings?

Speaker 19 I don't know.

Speaker 95 Honestly, because I suppose we have to pick two days to be forgiving instead of just being irritated at them all the time.

Speaker 44 See, Hero goes, I can't tell if that's generous or stingy.

Speaker 43 And you see that

Speaker 62 I fucking love your place.

Speaker 10 Julian and Tysha step away. Aranessa looks at you and says,

Speaker 85 I don't know what that Halovar prick told you,

Speaker 94 but I'll tell you this.

Speaker 116 I was kept waiting in the antechamber of the Via Aurora for the better part of a day.

Speaker 67 How the doors to fairies shut.

Speaker 67 I don't know how much longer my name will mean anything.

Speaker 35 Every passing day, the Taconus the Alevar seems stronger,

Speaker 133 and it seems like fewer messages arrive at the Golden Orchard.

Speaker 15 I know, I don't know what the future means.

Speaker 85 Maybe I should have run away with The Azi all those years ago.

Speaker 148 I, um,

Speaker 2 the hand down by my side, I clasp hers in friendship and squeeze it lightly.

Speaker 62 The whole world's getting away from us.

Speaker 62 The world is changing.

Speaker 50 Speaking of the world changing,

Speaker 74 someone who would know one or two things about that, I think, arrives at the funeral.

Speaker 17 Marisha Ray, would you come in, please?

Speaker 20 Hey!

Speaker 20 Oh my goodness.

Speaker 18 Oh my goodness.

Speaker 41 I am so late.

Speaker 19 Oh, the rain it is coming coming down harder than a horse's stream out there. Oh my goodness.
Oh, oh,

Speaker 106 oh. Hi, how are you?

Speaker 19 Oh, how are you?

Speaker 51 I'm good, my good. Oh, shit.

Speaker 106 Elody's here, too. Oh, my God.

Speaker 27 Kids are in the corner. How are you?

Speaker 19 Yeah, I'm great.

Speaker 4 Oh, my goodness. Oh, I brought a cranberry roll and a bottle of Yarn's grab.

Speaker 43 You see, Olga looks over at you and says, oh, shit.

Speaker 14 I brought a ton of cranberry rolls.

Speaker 4 I brought like a whole six-pack of cranberry. Well, it's the thought that counts.

Speaker 19 Maria, please. Got your character brush.

Speaker 4 All right, you see walking in. She's a little disheveled from the rain, which is not, you know, normally her position.

Speaker 4 In fact, she just kind of does a little bit of wizard magic to get herself all back into her full shining glory.

Speaker 4 You see a dwarf woman with kind of long auburn hair spilling out from under a flat brimmed cap like big long big hat and then you see that she's wearing this like coat, it's like long duster jacket that doesn't have sleeves.

Speaker 153 Sleeves are bullshit.

Speaker 13 And

Speaker 4 it looks like she walked into a rich person's house and saw someone's rug and went, that looks nice, and then made a jacket out of it.

Speaker 4 And then you see

Speaker 4 she's very, she's not afraid of color.

Speaker 4 And even though it is a funeral,

Speaker 4 you know, she has to show off her proudest asset, which is

Speaker 19 her big old rack.

Speaker 4 And,

Speaker 4 you know, as she likes to say, you know,

Speaker 4 lanterns are lit. So are the tits.
Let's go.

Speaker 4 So

Speaker 4 she loves a good party. She loves a good funeral.

Speaker 4 You know, there's just something about her, even though she's very put together. Oh, and you can see she's got like a little bit of like a...

Speaker 4 like a chin strap.

Speaker 18 It is like

Speaker 4 perfectly braided.

Speaker 4 and her nails are dead they are shining and then you see on the tip of her of her index finger she's got what looks like a press-on but when you look a little bit closer it's um it's like the tip like of a of an ink pen it's like a scroll it's like a like a quill um

Speaker 4 so yeah she's here and you know she looks very put together but also there's just something

Speaker 19 about her that's a little grimy

Speaker 112 a little greasy i'm thankful to be 6'4 that is a good angle hey girl hey yeah hey

Speaker 83 murray arrives uh murray magnusson arrives as truly one of like for theazi's funeral this is one of the this is like theazzi's current crowd that he's been running with you arrive and look around murray and immediately you see off in a corner um you see a lot of the magical underbelly for a man who was just hanged for arcanism.

Speaker 85 There are a lot of arcanists here.

Speaker 52 Off in a corner, you see Tashmara Cobblegrave catch your eye with her one purely white pinprick pupil eye and then an eye of a normal sort of hazel sclera.

Speaker 9 Looks over and goes, Murray, good to see you.

Speaker 107 Good to see you.

Speaker 52 Off in a corner, you see a tiny gnome with a kind of crooked top hat who's got a bunch of bracelets looking around.

Speaker 94 Who looks over?

Speaker 16 This is Uncle Emerald.

Speaker 46 You see, he looks over and goes, and he goes, Hey, Murray!

Speaker 18 Goodness gracious.

Speaker 14 Happy funeral.

Speaker 111 It's just so, so tragic.

Speaker 19 And

Speaker 4 she kind of starts digging into the cranberry rolls, and she kind of picks out of her teeth. And as you see, you're kind of picking it out.
She's missing the front three, like right side of her teeth.

Speaker 4 And if you look closer, they've been replaced with gemstones.

Speaker 4 So she's got one that's a little ruby, one that's just like a kind of a clear white quartz, and then another that's like a like a purple quartz.

Speaker 4 How she lost those teeth, who knows?

Speaker 113 Walking over to you, a sort of sallow-faced man who you see is just sort of like leather vest,

Speaker 97 tons of armpit hair pouring out.

Speaker 46 But you see like the vest, like no shirt under the vest, but just sort of a tie, a sort of ruffle tie around like a bare neck.

Speaker 43 This is Devrozi Gaunt.

Speaker 4 Devrozi, you dressed up.

Speaker 62 I did.

Speaker 26 I know that we are mourning the loss of a dear compatriot.

Speaker 19 I can see you put in the effort.

Speaker 85 Do you still need those skulls?

Speaker 4 You know, I think we can table that conversation.

Speaker 18 Sorry.

Speaker 19 Condolence. You know where to find me.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 19 We'll talk later. Okay.

Speaker 154 But I but I don't know where we're gonna

Speaker 154 because he's gone, so I don't know where we're gonna find each other.

Speaker 13 Um,

Speaker 4 you know, I work at the Penteverl.

Speaker 38 I'm allowed in.

Speaker 4 No, I just meet. You know what? He just and I just upstairs.

Speaker 4 Yeah, you know what?

Speaker 152 Can we come upstairs? Can we exchange the skulls upstairs?

Speaker 154 I can tell you where to find me if that's.

Speaker 4 Yeah, you know what? Let's make a connect.

Speaker 154 Okay, I'll be right back.

Speaker 4 It feels weird to be networking at a funeral.

Speaker 154 I know, but...

Speaker 4 But I think it's smart.

Speaker 19 Yeah.

Speaker 154 He's dead.

Speaker 38 Yes. So we have to kind of...

Speaker 131 No, we should. We should.

Speaker 154 It's what he would have wanted.

Speaker 41 He would have wanted us to.

Speaker 4 Look, this isn't my address. This is an address for someplace else that you can find me at on like Thursdays.

Speaker 154 Yeah, I'll be there non-stop until you show up.

Speaker 4 Okay, yeah, I tend to like to go have a glass of wine.

Speaker 153 This is

Speaker 51 this is one of the dive bars that Faye

Speaker 38 missed it.

Speaker 148 Miss Magnesson, you grace our family with your presence.

Speaker 41 Miss you, sweet, sweet thing.

Speaker 108 How are you?

Speaker 4 Are you alright? I just come up and I do the little

Speaker 19 dwarf down here. I forget.

Speaker 51 Sometimes.

Speaker 146 5'11.

Speaker 19 5'11.

Speaker 19 5'11.

Speaker 110 Short for a dwarf 5'11.

Speaker 82 Can I get you anything?

Speaker 148 Would you like a drink?

Speaker 146 I brought some yard grass.

Speaker 4 I know that it was his favorite.

Speaker 19 It was.

Speaker 125 I need to put this blade somewhere.

Speaker 148 I'll be right back.

Speaker 38 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

Speaker 111 I have to kill this man first.

Speaker 14 Well, you are probably already headed.

Speaker 124 We'll say, as Murray has come in here blustering like a tornado and all this chaos has happened, Sir Julian has used this immediate opportunity to disengage from the tractor beam of

Speaker 124 intention you had put upon him and has and has kind of pulled away from the rest and actually gone to have a moment with the corpse himself while everyone is kind of distracted, if I might.

Speaker 64 Yeah.

Speaker 119 What do you do as you approach the corpse of Theazi Fang?

Speaker 124 A hand kind of rested on the

Speaker 124 hilt of my rapier on the side. I kind of stand there for a minute over

Speaker 124 and kind of just glance left and right to see if anyone is paying any close attention to this corner holla's still there

Speaker 114 so you have a whole ass deer staring you there's a there's a a a companion of the wild here

Speaker 26 but of

Speaker 115 mortal kind you are alone

Speaker 41 I'm going to where is the deer currently situated by the corpse?

Speaker 111 Deer's at the head and was giving funeral funeral rites.

Speaker 111 Does it look like you're hesitating?

Speaker 124 It looks like I'm just kind of looking down and

Speaker 124 quietly taking in the surroundings.

Speaker 131 Then I think Holla will blink,

Speaker 111 stare at you, so you know that this is like connected to Taisha, and then turn and go find Hiro and is just going to go hang out with Hiro and leave you to this moment.

Speaker 108 Looks down upon the...

Speaker 124 the well-adorned and well-remembered and well-beloved body of Theazzi here in this warm hearth surrounded by the chattering voices of his family and his friends and all those whose lives he's touched.

Speaker 124 I can hear the gentle occasional sobs and stutters of my dear friend Lady Aranessa

Speaker 79 And then just quietly look down upon him.

Speaker 99 The only shame is I couldn't want you to die twice.

Speaker 81 And then I walk away.

Speaker 148 Bolair, could you do me a favor and get our friend Murray a drink? I'll be right back.

Speaker 85 I'm just going to go deal with this.

Speaker 148 I'm going to slip away real quick. I've got this blade belonging to my brother and I'll return to my study upstairs pretty quickly and I will just stop in front of my desk and look at it

Speaker 77 and look at the deed on the desk

Speaker 78 and lay the blade across the deed, the deed

Speaker 125 to

Speaker 148 the area of land in this city that I worked for years to secure

Speaker 134 and only came in reach of within the last few weeks.

Speaker 62 And I rest

Speaker 95 this sword,

Speaker 148 what remains of my brother,

Speaker 2 come crashing through

Speaker 65 those years of work.

Speaker 148 Everything I ever wanted,

Speaker 102 slashed with heartbreak.

Speaker 148 And I give myself ten seconds to stare at it and then return downstairs.

Speaker 81 Hello, Murray. It's lovely to see you.

Speaker 146 I don't think I've seen you since that last party where that demon girl threw up in a vase.

Speaker 76 It has been a while.

Speaker 144 That was a romp, wasn't it?

Speaker 4 It was such a good time.

Speaker 110 When are you going to throw another one of those?

Speaker 76 Oh, as soon as we can deal with some insurance issues, I've been assured that I can handle it again. I wish that was the only thing she did.

Speaker 78 She was quite a bit.

Speaker 81 I didn't know you knew Theazi.

Speaker 4 I think everybody knew Theazi. I mean, look at this room.
It was some mixed company up in here.

Speaker 76 Honestly, I didn't.

Speaker 79 Look, what is with all these rich people?

Speaker 19 Damn.

Speaker 81 Those I know.

Speaker 42 You see, as you say, what's up with all these rich people?

Speaker 149 I think, Tysha, you're nearby with Aaronessa. Aaronessa turns to look over at you and says, Hi, I'm a rich person.

Speaker 101 Oh, so am I.

Speaker 19 Ah, oh, well.

Speaker 21 You see, you see, Aranessa cocks an eyebrow and goes like, goes like,

Speaker 85 you the

Speaker 82 compared.

Speaker 18 Okay, okay.

Speaker 4 Are we is this some ridiculous?

Speaker 19 I pour you.

Speaker 146 Drink this.

Speaker 19 Great equalizer.

Speaker 4 Are y'all having like a dick waving contest over your bank account?

Speaker 19 Crude.

Speaker 19 I'm just honestly accurate. Sorry?

Speaker 44 No, it's all right.

Speaker 19 I have seen you

Speaker 146 around

Speaker 146 and I'm very sorry for your loss.

Speaker 132 I was

Speaker 132 Theazzi was a good friend of mine.

Speaker 68 You see that she smiles and says,

Speaker 86 that's wonderful.

Speaker 90 I've never been

Speaker 106 in

Speaker 90 a home like one of these in Dolnakjar, where he was from.

Speaker 114 This is where he...

Speaker 114 How this is where he grew up, right? This was your family's home?

Speaker 2 I grew up here

Speaker 130 in this neighborhood.

Speaker 85 Gotcha.

Speaker 2 Theazi lived with his father and mother, our father and his mother,

Speaker 78 on the edge of this neighborhood.

Speaker 122 Well, it's beautiful, and I'd love to, um,

Speaker 133 I'd love to see.

Speaker 57 Um,

Speaker 15 as you take a shot of that, she goes, what is this delightful thing called?

Speaker 27 Oh, yeah.

Speaker 77 It's best for sipping.

Speaker 127 No, she will.

Speaker 82 He puts his hand out from open and goes,

Speaker 95 Eranessa, are you sure?

Speaker 41 Oh, there you are.

Speaker 146 You want to go talk?

Speaker 121 As you go. He takes it from her.

Speaker 19 I am now.

Speaker 142 Oh, you take the shot and head out.

Speaker 4 Just immediately pour Aranessa another shot because that was weird.

Speaker 84 Matt, I would love for you to make a

Speaker 44 wisdom saving throw for me.

Speaker 78 Ooh, that is a solid six.

Speaker 19 We're back, baby.

Speaker 19 I would like

Speaker 84 to see it. I would like.

Speaker 111 Didn't know the dice go high.

Speaker 19 I would like

Speaker 14 for Bolaire, Murray, Tysha, or Hal.

Speaker 101 Anyone who wants to.

Speaker 97 No one has, like, I think a detect magic up right now.

Speaker 27 But give me either Arcana or

Speaker 85 call it like Arcana or nature or religion.

Speaker 113 Dealer's choice.

Speaker 85 Go ahead and give me a roll.

Speaker 50 DC20 gets you a vibe.

Speaker 61 DC25 gets you pure information.

Speaker 18 Can I give guidance to myself? Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 82 Not 20.

Speaker 38 We're rolling hot tonight, baby.

Speaker 142 There's a lot of RP going on, but these are some important roles.

Speaker 4 Pretty good. 23 on Arcana.

Speaker 33 23 on Arcana.

Speaker 85 Hell yeah.

Speaker 101 I have a plus 6.

Speaker 106 That's a 13. 13.

Speaker 19 Great.

Speaker 54 Murray, I think on this Arcana check, you just notice as Tysha and Julian step outside,

Speaker 16 there is a bit of.

Speaker 14 You notice the cold iron nail kind of like

Speaker 41 glow a little subtly orange for a second.

Speaker 50 You know, that's for repelling demons and fairies.

Speaker 108 Jepa, Bolair, on a gnat 20.

Speaker 76 Religion and Arcana. Religion.

Speaker 14 That's your pick.

Speaker 84 Your pick.

Speaker 49 26, 26.

Speaker 86 On a gnat 20.

Speaker 84 I'll give you two out of three.

Speaker 32 We'll make it fun, Taylor's choice.

Speaker 83 The target,

Speaker 43 the effect,

Speaker 48 and the cause.

Speaker 54 You can get two out of three.

Speaker 62 I hate you.

Speaker 144 Every fiber of my being.

Speaker 76 I'll take the target and the cause.

Speaker 22 The target and the cause.

Speaker 81 The cause,

Speaker 16 there is an orcish custom.

Speaker 102 So all those candles,

Speaker 89 all those candles, everything around Theazzi's body, the coins and everything, he is in a state of

Speaker 14 this is part of the old path.

Speaker 89 He's been adorned with treasures by his loved ones.

Speaker 72 He is under a protection.

Speaker 147 That protection has been...

Speaker 114 Something has been done to cross it.

Speaker 32 You don't have the effect,

Speaker 26 but

Speaker 36 something like a shadow follows Sir Julian De Venos

Speaker 105 out of this home.

Speaker 73 And you can see in a way that maybe maybe only Bolaire can, a shadow walking out the door after Julian.

Speaker 77 Would anything like

Speaker 105 I have

Speaker 76 devil's sight wouldn't help with this.

Speaker 95 I'm trying to think if I have anything

Speaker 65 I can do to

Speaker 71 on that nap 20, I think that you get a sense that like without, again, you don't know the effect, but it's

Speaker 54 something small.

Speaker 32 This is like the kind of magic that people tend to ignore. A little bit of folklore, an old superstition, a saw, an old wives tale.

Speaker 54 But you watch as something small and surreptitious

Speaker 15 is born into existence and begins to walk behind Sir Julian.

Speaker 89 And I think you know, with more time,

Speaker 93 like there are things back at the museum that maybe would be worth consulting after what you just saw.

Speaker 57 Um,

Speaker 10 Julian and Tysha step outside together.

Speaker 10 Tysha,

Speaker 134 why are you here?

Speaker 99 Because my friend is grieving.

Speaker 111 Why are you here? She is safe among friends.

Speaker 79 Because I myself have a

Speaker 69 storied history with Yazzie, and I felt it was important for me to close that chapter in person.

Speaker 69 So you came here for one last glue.

Speaker 124 Call it what you wish.

Speaker 27 I call it

Speaker 111 a desperate man's last bit of glory.

Speaker 79 You have no idea what those words mean.

Speaker 111 How's my son?

Speaker 67 Your son is actually

Speaker 69 quite an exemplary student.

Speaker 56 Rising to be a fantastic soldier, picks up things quickly.

Speaker 69 An incredible intellect, good intuition, and has gotten quite a bit far, both with small and long blades. Has quite a future ahead of him.

Speaker 99 because I have been his teacher

Speaker 111 last bit of wisdom and patience left in me to keep him

Speaker 111 by your side.

Speaker 15 But this

Speaker 111 you

Speaker 27 here

Speaker 108 with a little fish hook pulling at the corner of your lip, a grin

Speaker 124 He leans against the wall like goes into a relaxed state. His his stately, knightly appearance just kind of melts a bit.
He kind of leans against the wall.

Speaker 124 Look,

Speaker 69 we have many reasons to dislike each other.

Speaker 27 Many. You're a lying scoundrel, a rat who

Speaker 111 betrayed his father and his family for a last hope of glory.

Speaker 124 No.

Speaker 19 I

Speaker 126 watch it, finger.

Speaker 79 We're not inside the house, are we?

Speaker 69 So we're on even ground here.

Speaker 56 If you want to start throwing these words away from me, you have to be willing to take it back.

Speaker 56 Alright.

Speaker 109 My family was thrown into the mud by my father, and I pulled us back up.

Speaker 105 Your...

Speaker 124 And he kind of gestures back towards the Azzi.

Speaker 64 Your kin turned on all of those who helped lift him up.

Speaker 64 And he needed to be taught a lesson.

Speaker 67 And it just so happened that I was the one who had the courage to do so.

Speaker 77 And I know that can be hard for you to muster into your stomach after all these years.

Speaker 124 But with Sanitan,

Speaker 105 and now we live. And now we mourn.

Speaker 69 So you can throw your words all you like. It does not change history.

Speaker 77 I don't hate you.

Speaker 124 As much as you may hate me.

Speaker 124 i'm not going to lie you know i hate him

Speaker 111 i know you hate him and as much as i want to i don't hate you i pity you

Speaker 111 because if it takes this level of betrayal

Speaker 111 of your kin

Speaker 111 to try to claw your way out of the bun and what good has it done The door to fairy is still closed.

Speaker 111 And it's only the work of my people

Speaker 111 that gives you a snowflake's chance in hell

Speaker 131 of any real comeback.

Speaker 111 So you're gonna watch your fucking tone with me.

Speaker 111 And if one hair is hurt on my son's head, there will be nothing you or your lovely lady patron can do to stop me ripping you limb from fucking limb.

Speaker 26 And I'll start with that pretty little glove of yours.

Speaker 111 Do you understand me?

Speaker 111 And at this,

Speaker 111 I think you can

Speaker 83 feel it.

Speaker 111 Heat coming off like a shimmer off of the back of her. And she is trying very hard not to wild shape right now.

Speaker 35 You're both suddenly aware that

Speaker 15 the temperature has dropped about 15 degrees in the last minute.

Speaker 32 It is night and the clouds have vanished, and the silver light over the rookery

Speaker 30 casts everything in a strange translucence.

Speaker 35 I'm gonna need perception checks from both Tysha and Julian in this moment.

Speaker 51 Cast guidance on him.

Speaker 101 That's just a six. Matt, stop touching my dice.

Speaker 61 What do we got here? That's the least I can do for that shit you just threw at me.

Speaker 82 That's gonna...

Speaker 26 Oh, 14.

Speaker 124 Glorious 10.

Speaker 124 I am fully right now believing that this is your doing.

Speaker 82 I'm like.

Speaker 134 We'll only be here a short time.

Speaker 111 This isn't me.

Speaker 26 The magpies aren't cawing.

Speaker 35 Something

Speaker 122 ancient

Speaker 32 moves upon the face of this city.

Speaker 15 A figure is walking up the street.

Speaker 28 The lights are not on

Speaker 15 in the other houses.

Speaker 64 It walks alone,

Speaker 35 approaching this home.

Speaker 123 Ashley Johnson, you want to come out?

Speaker 146 I bet it's super chill.

Speaker 101 Yeah.

Speaker 19 Somewhere.

Speaker 152 Shop rocks.

Speaker 19 Yeah.

Speaker 13 Yeah.

Speaker 19 Oh, I brought the night. I brought the night.

Speaker 27 I brought the night.

Speaker 51 Hi.

Speaker 137 Hi, Alan.

Speaker 45 Hi.

Speaker 54 Would you do me the favor of describing your character as she approaches the top of the hill?

Speaker 102 Sure.

Speaker 155 You see

Speaker 155 an extremely tall woman.

Speaker 19 5'11?

Speaker 155 Dressed in sort of

Speaker 155 deep obsidian, snug black leather

Speaker 155 chest armor

Speaker 155 and ropes and

Speaker 155 pale white lacing that goes all the way up the top to the top of her throat.

Speaker 155 She pulls down a black hood

Speaker 155 and she wears

Speaker 155 a veil of mourning that

Speaker 155 looks to be chain mail that's draped over her elven ears.

Speaker 155 And

Speaker 155 the part of her face that we can see, you can see that there's gashes and scarring and burns.

Speaker 155 It almost looks like a scar of arcane magic.

Speaker 155 Wrapped around her waist a few times is a very, very long chain,

Speaker 155 and she holds the end of it,

Speaker 155 sort of laced between her fingers and dangling on the bottom of it, is a sensor

Speaker 111 with some smoke coming out of it.

Speaker 155 She walks up and sees the two of them.

Speaker 34 As you approach,

Speaker 58 covering on your face, you wear a veil of mourning.

Speaker 85 An article of religious,

Speaker 32 perhaps even ecclesiastical garb.

Speaker 36 And though you approach a funeral, the veil of mourning is not for the deceased that lies within.

Speaker 35 You behold a human warrior,

Speaker 58 an orcish druid,

Speaker 26 as you arrive at the top of the hill,

Speaker 98 the censer in your hands.

Speaker 70 You smell

Speaker 151 funereal incense, the stink of liquor.

Speaker 15 Last rites are being held within this place.

Speaker 65 You have arrived exactly where you were told to expect the event you now see unfolding.

Speaker 111 Do I recognize the, like, any... Do you have like religious paraphernalia on you?

Speaker 155 Not that you can see. It is just she's just wearing pure black, minus her white lacing, and there's not really any

Speaker 155 religious symbols on her whatsoever.

Speaker 111 Are you here to mourn?

Speaker 101 The azifang.

Speaker 155 I walk straight inside.

Speaker 133 You walk into the home, Hal, you turn and see an unfamiliar figure appear.

Speaker 19 Good evening.

Speaker 19 Hi.

Speaker 27 Hello.

Speaker 155 Guests of Theazi Fang's funeral.

Speaker 51 I am Valis

Speaker 155 of the sisters of Salandri,

Speaker 155 the fallen goddess of life,

Speaker 26 the Green Mother,

Speaker 155 the shaper of the elves.

Speaker 155 I would like an audience with the executor of this man's things.

Speaker 2 I'm The Azifang's brother.

Speaker 2 If that

Speaker 2 is what you're looking for.

Speaker 155 That man is a thief, and he stole something that belongs to me.

Speaker 155 And I intend to get it back.

Speaker 155 I don't mean any trouble here. My apologies to everyone.

Speaker 155 A brother?

Speaker 115 A lover?

Speaker 155 I just want what is mine.

Speaker 155 All right, we don't need to make a

Speaker 155 spectacle of my brother's passing. What is it that you are

Speaker 129 looking for? That you think he has?

Speaker 155 It is something that he stole from me. If you can show me his things, I will find it and be on my way.

Speaker 111 Perhaps you could just clarify. He has a lot of things.

Speaker 110 This funeral is awesome.

Speaker 155 It's a stone.

Speaker 155 Just a simple stone.

Speaker 148 I'm sorry. I haven't even seen my brother in person before today.

Speaker 134 In a few weeks,

Speaker 2 I don't know of any stone.

Speaker 148 What kind of stone?

Speaker 103 I take a seat

Speaker 16 and cross my legs.

Speaker 155 I can wait until you're ready.

Speaker 35 Aranessa looks around and says,

Speaker 35 My lady,

Speaker 35 you have come here from

Speaker 35 the Mourn Vale, I am presuming.

Speaker 27 Yes.

Speaker 155 I have traveled very far for weeks

Speaker 38 to come here.

Speaker 37 It is my

Speaker 67 late husband that lies on that table.

Speaker 155 My condolences.

Speaker 105 Thank you.

Speaker 32 Normally, I would take umbrage

Speaker 30 at the word thief being bandied at my husband, but given that it seems to be used in a very literal context here, yes, he stole a great deal.

Speaker 155 I do believe you haven't seen him in many years.

Speaker 155 I think the man that's laying here is very different than what you thought of him.

Speaker 111 I don't know if an elf like yourself has experienced enough loss to know that the way you are speaking is incredibly rude and will not be tolerated.

Speaker 111 That's true. I haven't experienced any loss in all of my years.

Speaker 27 Well, other than your god.

Speaker 79 70 years ago.

Speaker 155 Anyway.

Speaker 155 Well, I think the mood is pretty much sunk. Do you want to tell us

Speaker 148 a little more about this thing that you're after?

Speaker 155 It is called the Stone of Nightsong.

Speaker 19 Polair.

Speaker 65 That name rings a bell.

Speaker 128 Yes, it does.

Speaker 19 Oh.

Speaker 155 Someone I know.

Speaker 27 Hello.

Speaker 105 How are you?

Speaker 87 Clearly not

Speaker 81 well.

Speaker 38 Phalis.

Speaker 32 Give me an insight check with advantage if you'd be so kind.

Speaker 37 Oh dear, okay.

Speaker 101 Where's my stuff?

Speaker 27 The realest vibe.

Speaker 103 Okay.

Speaker 110 You just opened every menu.

Speaker 19 That's everybody.

Speaker 19 Okay.

Speaker 146 You said insight check?

Speaker 27 Okay. With advantage.

Speaker 127 Wait, really? Yeah.

Speaker 19 Not with advantage.

Speaker 146 You said advantage check. With advantage, yeah.

Speaker 146 Okay.

Speaker 124 Hey, those are the real size dice.

Speaker 27 Okay, great. I know.

Speaker 155 How many of you have to do that? That's really good.

Speaker 155 That's 18 plus 5.

Speaker 103 23.

Speaker 48 Yes, that's 23.

Speaker 97 You look around and see

Speaker 107 a dead mortal on the table.

Speaker 122 This one died from hanging, but that was merely changing the date on a calendar that was always coming for him.

Speaker 85 Nearby is Lady Aranessa muttering under her breath,

Speaker 48 I've had just about enough people tell me that I don't know the man I married.

Speaker 58 You look over, see Bolaire in a corner as you say the Stone of Night song.

Speaker 90 Seventy years ago

Speaker 37 Blink of an eye in your centuries of life.

Speaker 38 You watched the last god of Araman

Speaker 38 die

Speaker 65 and have had to trudge for weeks through the stinking world they built in the wake of what they destroyed.

Speaker 67 You see here in this place

Speaker 60 family, criminals, nobles,

Speaker 65 all threads of the same corrupted tapestry.

Speaker 15 But there's one person you don't see.

Speaker 15 One being

Speaker 15 who you know knows what the Stone of Night song is.

Speaker 67 Because she was there.

Speaker 58 You wonder if any of these people are hiding her.

Speaker 73 And on that 23, you know that they will know

Speaker 65 of that person who traveled with Theazzi.

Speaker 63 They cannot hide that, the cold iron nail above the door.

Speaker 32 This is a place that knows fairies well.

Speaker 155 I just slowly

Speaker 155 start swinging my sensor and just looking around.

Speaker 101 Is that Pal Santo?

Speaker 123 Looks real nice.

Speaker 103 A little bit.

Speaker 135 A little bit of this and that.

Speaker 85 You know, I actually agree with the lady Arnessa.

Speaker 108 And I agree with you.

Speaker 40 It's been some time since she's,

Speaker 132 you know, knocked boots with the Aussie, as they say.

Speaker 108 However,

Speaker 132 some of us other low lives around here.

Speaker 27 We might be able to help you.

Speaker 128 But I would suggest

Speaker 18 you cool whatever vibe this is

Speaker 27 calm down

Speaker 108 and maybe we can talk like dignified individuals when we're not in the presence of grieving loved ones.

Speaker 62 Does that seem fair?

Speaker 103 I'm sorry.

Speaker 155 In all the time that I have been here, I have forgotten what grieving is like.

Speaker 155 I will reattach my chain.

Speaker 155 Please continue with the

Speaker 103 festivities.

Speaker 110 Would you like a drink?

Speaker 146 Absolutely.

Speaker 19 All right, let me get you a drop.

Speaker 110 I'll get you a cranberry roll.

Speaker 146 We'll break bread over these shitty fucking cranberry rolls, and then we'll be good, okay?

Speaker 128 Great.

Speaker 76 One moment. I'm going to s walk over and sit next to you with a drink.

Speaker 105 What the fuck are you doing here?

Speaker 155 What do you think I'm doing here?

Speaker 76 Making an ass of yourself and ruining anything you might hope to achieve.

Speaker 155 You let me into the city, Bolair.

Speaker 111 I deliver two drinks of Yargrass. You're speaking louder than you think you are.

Speaker 155 And I just sit next to them.

Speaker 44 As you sit down, Tysha, you see...

Speaker 85 Off in a corner, I completely forgot you mentioned it earlier, but when you were drunk, before you sobered yourself,

Speaker 73 there is that silver box that you had mentioned before, the one that you had traveled with.

Speaker 65 As you see, Bolaire sits next to this Elven Wanderer.

Speaker 113 That is still yours here to have at this moment.

Speaker 107 And Valis, looking around, you see a couple of like fairy protections here.

Speaker 85 If you want to do any other checks to see, you remember who that companion was that traveled with Fiazzi to the Morn Vale.

Speaker 44 However, for anyone else here in this moment, you see, you know, Shadia looks over at this elven traveler and goes, Dad, is everything okay?

Speaker 74 Are we safe here?

Speaker 74 Yeah.

Speaker 74 Yeah.

Speaker 74 Halandu, I'm...

Speaker 111 I'm sorry. I was freaking out.
Can't you just come with me? I need to cool off for a second.

Speaker 131 And I want to drag you upstairs so I can go, like, dig the silver box out of my effects.

Speaker 95 Okay.

Speaker 95 I look to Shadia and to Hero.

Speaker 95 Girls, could you just clear the dessert table?

Speaker 129 Maybe take stuff in the back.

Speaker 98 Oh, yeah, Dad, you got it.

Speaker 2 We'll come find you and a few, all right?

Speaker 111 And Hala is trailing them, so we've got just a little backup.

Speaker 148 There's also lots of armed

Speaker 48 warriors here. Yeah.

Speaker 113 You see.

Speaker 16 You see, and uh, yeah,

Speaker 89 you see down there some of the old torn banner. See, there again is this

Speaker 16 tunk who is the

Speaker 16 boar man,

Speaker 16 looks at and goes over and goes.

Speaker 73 How big was this stone?

Speaker 118 If I see it, I'll

Speaker 61 write a report.

Speaker 155 It's small. Yeah.

Speaker 105 Ah, small. All right.

Speaker 130 I'll look out for a small rock.

Speaker 153 Would this ring any bells to Murray?

Speaker 70 Give me an Arcana check.

Speaker 96 Arctino, give me religion.

Speaker 76 I assume I know, but I'm happy to put another.

Speaker 81 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's go, Murray.

Speaker 76 That's a 25.

Speaker 121 25.

Speaker 94 12.

Speaker 32 The Stone of Night.

Speaker 85 Is this religion or

Speaker 101 religion?

Speaker 116 The Stone of Night song

Speaker 15 was an artifact written by,

Speaker 149 sorry, was an artifact created

Speaker 113 by a celestial,

Speaker 68 which was basically a

Speaker 109 celestial servant of Salandri, the shaper of the elves, the goddess of life in the woodland.

Speaker 119 To her children, the elves, did she alone grant immortality, that they would not die of age or infirm, that they would live lest accident or injury befell them.

Speaker 35 But for those elves that it did befall,

Speaker 67 she crafted a stone that their spirits would be brought to peace beyond in the garden of the spirit, kept for her.

Speaker 35 But in traveling, there was a realm that they must pass.

Speaker 114 This being the realm of.

Speaker 15 Hold on one second.

Speaker 105 Lore, Lore. Lore, Lore.

Speaker 106 Lore, Lore, Lore, Lore, Lore.

Speaker 58 That passing through the tenebril reaches, that there would be a brief night before bright dawn.

Speaker 65 That brief night, you know, is not very brief, that is, the underworld, the realm of the dead.

Speaker 70 The Stone of Night song existed, that elves and their immortal spirits need not even touch those ghastly realms, but would be ferried by a spirit of song and night swiftly through the darkness to bright dawn.

Speaker 35 The goddess of life so loved her her elven children that even

Speaker 35 in catastrophe, the destruction of their bodies, would their immortal souls never have to know hardship or pain.

Speaker 89 The stone of night song,

Speaker 26 you believe,

Speaker 85 was created after the original guardian spirit, that immortal nightingale, a celestial that took the wings of nightingale, sort of like a night angel.

Speaker 148 Which is why it has the bird.

Speaker 113 The stone was created after that celestial's destruction in the shaper was form.

Speaker 111 So, I'm just gonna kind of look at Bolaire as I see

Speaker 27 the brain. Okay.

Speaker 95 So, other than reminding me that no good deed goes unpunished, what would it take to get you to leave these people alone?

Speaker 95 They don't have what you're looking for, clearly.

Speaker 27 How do you know that?

Speaker 76 Because I know them.

Speaker 78 And they wouldn't be this contained if they did.

Speaker 76 At best, if they do have it, they don't know what it is.

Speaker 125 They wouldn't be able to find it for you.

Speaker 155 Do you know where the little one is?

Speaker 77 Which

Speaker 77 one? Oh my god.

Speaker 81 Where is Thimble?

Speaker 27 Thimble.

Speaker 27 Thimble.

Speaker 70 As you say, Thimble's name.

Speaker 85 upstairs, Hal and Tysha, the silver box flies open.

Speaker 9 On the desk,

Speaker 91 shattered, ceramic,

Speaker 25 black clay

Speaker 87 hidden in the box begins to

Speaker 62 move together

Speaker 26 into the shape

Speaker 48 of a mask

Speaker 65 much like the one downstairs on Bolaire's face.

Speaker 65 This was the last thing the

Speaker 101 LT asked me to get it. I

Speaker 111 don't know what it is.

Speaker 129 Can I make an Arcana check?

Speaker 19 You wanna make an Arcana check? Yeah.

Speaker 51 No, I don't like this.

Speaker 67 across the inner workings of the box, black velvet and black clay coming together swiftly because you spoke the name of a little fairy.

Speaker 35 We'll make that arcana check at the top of next week's episode.
