Hi guys, good morning.
Today, my cat on the loose is a major, major event about what happened to me this morning.
So, stay tuned.
I'm gonna record and I'm gonna drop it right after.
I have a dog, he's a puppy, he's nine months old, and he's the sweetest freaking dog in the world.
He's a Labrador that I rescued, but he definitely has the Labrador personality.
He plays with every dog of every size, he's not afraid of anyone.
Even if a dog attacks him, he just lays there licking them.
And there is a park here in Miami, a beautiful, beautiful park called South Point Park that I walk with my friend every morning.
She has a dog that looks like my dog's brother.
They're best friends.
So every morning, me and my friend, we go to this park with our dogs and we let them play at the dog park while we talk.
This dog park is not fenced, but the dogs just stay around there, hanging around there because we're there.
They never run to other areas of the park.
But, anyways, there's this old man, almost every morning, he walks through the park with two tiny, tiny Yorkshire terriers, I think it's the breed, Yorkshire something,
on
leashed.
And he walks through the park.
And every morning he's in this horrible mood and his dogs, as little as they are, they're very aggressive.
They start barking at the other dogs.
Remember, guys, this is a dog park.
So our dogs are running around and playing.
So when they see these two tiny dogs coming, they run after them because they think they want to play too.
And these little dogs just go like,
scare our dogs.
And this man screams, leash your dogs, leash your fucking dogs.
So one day, my friend's boyfriend was there and he said, hey, this is an unleashed dog park.
If you don't want your dogs to be around our dogs, walk the other way.
There are many ways to walk through.
And he was like, oh yeah, my dogs are aggressive, but you guys should control your dogs.
And we said it again.
This is the only area that they can play and be unleashed.
But anyways, this guy keeps walking the exact same way every single day in a horrible mood, obviously to provoke us.
You know, this person that they're in a bad mood every day, you know, just by looking at them, they're having a hard time, they're having a bad day, nothing is going to make them happy.
So so many times he walks and he complains about my dog, my friend's dog, any dog that's in the park, he complains, oh, leash your dogs, leash your fucking dogs, are you people stupid?
And we tell them over and over and over again, just walk away, walk somewhere else.
If your dogs don't like our dogs, if your dogs don't like big dogs, just walk somewhere else.
And he obviously does it on purpose.
So this morning,
my dog is playing at the park with Rafaela's dog.
And this guy walks by, and of course, our dogs came running after his dog.
My friend grabbed her dog and put him on a leash.
And I just let Phoenix run around.
And the guy started yelling at me, Get your fucking dog off of my dog.
Your dog is attacking my dog.
By the way, there were many people around.
They started staring.
My dog wasn't attacking anybody.
He doesn't attack anybody.
He's the sweetest thing in the world.
He was just going after these puppies to play with them because that's what he thought they were going to do.
So I lost it.
I just, I'm a very calm person, but I was so tired of being yelled at.
And these guys started calling me an idiot.
just leash your dog and i just said listen walk a different way go the other way it's your dog that's barking at my dog maybe i shouldn't have answered back but i mean i tried so many times anyway this guy exploded on me in the middle of the park he called me a retard he called me a nasso he called me a idiot and then i wouldn't take it and this is why i'm recording this episode because i want to know your guys opinion when i think it's
in any way way, any way, anyway, not acceptable to call woman names in public.
It was pretty obvious he's been trying to pick a fight with whoever is there at the park because his son walks the third dog way through the other side to avoid the dog park.
So he's doing this day after day after day just to pick a fight.
And I felt when he started calling me names, when he called me a retard, when he called me stupid, are you fucking stupid?
I had to defend myself.
So I started screaming at me.
Just walk the other way.
Go away.
Go away.
And then some guy walked by defending him.
Yeah, you need to leash your dog.
And I said, but this is a dog park.
The dogs are supposed to have fun here.
If somebody doesn't want it, don't be here.
But to me, it's not even about the dogs.
It's about how I was verbally harassed and attacked by a man that doesn't even know me.
I personally think, and Rafael was like just shaking because she's very calm, and she's like, let's just take our dogs away.
Let's never come back to this park.
And I said, no, if we never come back to this park, this bully wins.
I think we need to stand up for ourselves.
We can be polite.
I don't think I deserve to be called names by any man.
for any reason in the world and I'm not going to accept it.
So anyways, we went for a walk like we do every morning, a nice long walk and we stop at a Starbucks.
In case you guys don't know, if you get a drink at Starbucks, you can order a puppuccino, which is like this little whipped cream treat for the dogs.
So we're standing there in line outside because there's a window outside you can order outside.
We're standing there outside the window waiting for our drinks and the puppy drinks.
Again, a different man comes with his dog right behind us and he looks at us.
Are you people done?
And we said, no, we're waiting for our drinks.
And Rafaela's dog barks at this dog.
And the man again goes off on us.
Get your fucking dog out of here.
He's barking at my dog.
He was going to come attack my dog.
And I said, well, and of course, again, my friend just moved away.
She was like so shocked, terrified.
And I stood my ground.
I said, why are you talking to us like that?
And he wasn't wearing a mask and he kept moving towards me.
And I said, please, can you back off, keep your distance?
I do whatever the fuck I want.
And why are you talking to me?
I can say, and I said, why?
And everybody, by the way, at this Starbucks patio is staring at this man.
And I stood my ground.
I said, Excuse me, why are you talking to us like that?
Why are you so nervous?
Both our dogs are on the leash.
We're waiting for our drinks.
I'm done with you.
Shut up.
I said, No, you're not going to make me shut up.
You're not my father.
Nobody ever talks to me like that.
You don't have to tell me to shut up.
Sorry, guys, you noticed that my dog interrupted.
So anyways, when the dog noticed that I stood my ground, when the dog, when this rude man noticed that I stood my ground, he was like, oh, okay, I'm just going to go away and sit on a table and wait for you to be done.
And I said, thank you very much.
You have no reason to be so rude to two women minding their own business with their dogs.
And
my friend was shaking.
I was shaking.
And no man there, by the way.
No man and no woman.
Everybody was staring at the man.
They saw him being insanely rude to us.
Nobody stood up and said, Hey, maybe you should back off.
I would have stood up for someone if I saw them being so horribly being verbally attacked by someone in public.
So we got our drinks and we left.
And when after the man moved away, people started looking at me like, Oh, why are they being so rude to you?
Why are they being so mean?
I said, Exactly, I don't know.
I don't know if it's something in the weather.
I don't know if people are freaking out because of the elections.
I don't know if they're in a bad mood in general.
But I just think we all need to be kinder and cool our heels.
And I personally think men out there, you know, you shouldn't treat women like that.
That's my venting for today.
I know it's a shorter episode.
I had something else planned, but after this happened, I really needed to share it with you guys.
