Hey, everybody, Alden Ford and the cast of the show here.

Hello.

Long time, no talk.

We have a really exciting couple announcements for you.

That's right, Papa.

It's going to be a big no, actually, Winston, we're not doing it.

We're not doing that, Winston.

Okay.

I appreciate your commitment, but we're here to make an announcement out of character.

So we can't hide behind a mask and kind of distance ourselves from our emotions.

I mean, go ahead.

If we're going to, we'll see if this works.

Okay.

All right.

Wow.

He's walking away from his computer.

Wait, no, Winston, come back.

Okay, okay, okay.

I'm not doing that either.

So we're not doing footsteps.

We're not doing walking away.

I'm walking from one side of the room to the other.

We just wanted to pop back onto our main feed here for an announcement about a couple of live shows we've got coming up.

Very exciting.

First, in December, we have a show right here in New York City, December 3rd at Caveat, one of our favorite venues in Manhattan.

And we're doing what we call the Shrimp Lovers Variety Hour.

And as Winston and

character for that, well, as I said, Winston, this is an out-of-character show.

Come on.

I'm walking.

I'm leaving.

And I'm slamming all the doors in that apartment.

We can't hear it.

We can't hear it.

We are getting back to our

long-form improv roots, performing all seven of us, Shane included.

What?

Together as friends, the way it was meant to be.

Besides Shane, who else is going to be there, Alden?

Well, in addition to ourselves, we're also going to have a number of great guests that you will recognize from the show, improvising with us and also doing some other stuff.

Yeah, you could say that the some other stuff you just mentioned is the source of this variety show's variety.

You can get tickets to our show.

Again, it's December 3rd, Saturday, 7 p.m.

You can get tickets at caveat.nyc or at our website, to zix.space.

It's going to be a great show.

And of course, we're going to be hanging out with you afterwards.

Yeah, we can talk your ear off about like how our reverse Herald really, like, how we managed to get the third piece in the front.

We can, we can corner you, our listeners, at the show and uh talk about how we do stuff other than Mission to Zix, which will really annoy you.

Uh, I just got a message from caveat.

I guess we somehow unsold all of our tickets for

them money now during this

pre-recorded program.

Interesting.

This would happen a lot.

You know, honestly, we love performing together.

We have missed being able to perform together.

And we thought, what better way to get back together than to do it live on stage doing brand new stuff that will only exist at that show?

So you should be there.

And guess what?

We're also selling live stream tickets.

So if you're not in the NYC area and you want to watch from home, go to caveat.nyc and you can get live stream tickets to watch the show.

Is that a good idea to watch improv on live stream?

I mean, it's better than traveling to go see it.

Yeah, absolutely.

That's a good point.

Oh my gosh, watching an improv set from the comfort of your own home.

I wish that had been a possibility in 2010.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I would have had a lot more people at all my graduation shows.

Seriously, though, I'm super psyched, and it's going to be fun to kind of stretch our muscles and try something like out of character.

I honestly, I think it's going to be pretty cool.

And also, you know, all throughout the pandemic, Mission to Zix became our one and only improv performance opportunity.

And so for many of us, this show in December is our first return to a sort of traditional improv performance.

And I'm really excited for one.

I, for one, am very excited about.

I, for one, am also very excited.

Yeah.

Yeah, good.

But Alden, is this the only time we're going to be performing together?

Oh, I'm so glad you asked that, Winston.

It's not the only time we'll be performing.

Oh, wow.

No, I was just really interested.

Well, in addition to our show,

you may remember about this time last year, we announced a live show at the San Francisco Sketch Festival.

Due to an

unfortunately enormous COVID spike that holiday season, San Francisco Sketch Fest was rescheduled from last year to this coming January, and we are performing

again, question mark.

We are performing again for the first time, January 20th at 8 p.m.

at the San Francisco Sketch Fest.

You can get tickets at sfsketchfest.com or missiontozix.space.

And that will be in character.

Yes,

that will be a tradition lost episode of Mission to Zix.

And so, you know, we really have something for everybody.

If you are listening to this saying, you know what, I'm so glad Mission to Zix is over.

I'm so glad to never be hearing or seeing this.

Come on out to Caveat.

See us do out-of-character improv.

And if you think that's not for me and or I live on the West Coast, come on out and check us out at San Francisco Sketch Fest.

It's going to be a blast.

And is that, wait, but is that the only time we're ever going to be performing live again?

Winston, I'm so glad you asked.

It's actually not the only time we're going to be performing live because we are in the process of planning some additional dates.

and additional locations in 2023, which we will announce in the coming months as we solidify those plans.

And so, is that it?

Is that all the announcements?

I'm sort of less glad you asked, Winston, because it is actually all of our announcements for today.

Oh, okay, okay.

Cool.

I'm just a guy asking questions.

Hey, what I missed.

Oh, hey.

Apologies back, baby.

What's uh, what's going on here?

Moojan, we're not doing that.

Yeah, sorry, Mooj.

Yeah, sorry.

How different kind of

voice?

How'd you get that voice to?

Wow.
