James, huge news from the world of off-menu and indeed the world of the world.
Yes.
Ever heard of the Royal Albert Hall?
I have.
We've done live shows there.
And guess what?
We're doing more live shows there next year.
Sure, a lot of them are sold out already.
But we thought, hey, throw these guys a bone.
Let's put on one final Royal Albert Hall show in that run.
The show will be on Monday, the 16th of March.
It's going to be a tasting menu, a returning guest coming back, receiving the menu of another previous guest.
Those shows have been a lot of fun.
We cannot wait to do them live.
Who will we pull out of our little magic bag?
You'll have to come along on the 16th of March to find out.
If I'm correct in thinking, presale tickets go on pre-sale on the 10th of September.
Pre-sale tickets are 10th of September at 10 a.m.
And then the general sale is 12th of September at 10 a.m.
So if you miss out on the pre-sale, don't forget general sale is only two days later.
The day in between is for reflecting.
Get your tickets from royalalberthall.com Hall.com or offmenupodcast.co.uk.
Hello, Ed and James here.
You may have noticed that there is no episode of Off Menu today.
We took the decision that with everything that's happening with the Black Lives Matter protests
and police brutality and the murder of George Floyd, all the absolute horror show that's occurring in the US and all the discussions that it's sparking off over here and around the globe that today probably wasn't the best idea for a light-hearted podcast about dinners that we recorded a fair few months ago.
So we've made that decision, so we thought we'd use this platform to let you know some places that you can donate, some places that you can do some more reading and hopefully help out.
a little bit.
We're certainly teaching ourselves some stuff as well.
Yep, there's loads of opportunities online at the minute to get involved and support various organizations.
The showmustbepaus.com, where there's loads of links on how to donate to causes and how to support other people.
BlacklivesMatter.com as well has lots of resources and instructions on how to take action.
Also, if you search for the Act Blue bail funds, then you can donate to that and the donations will be divided between different bailout funds as well.
And certainly at no point am I telling you to go and learn things that I already know.
My education on these topics is absolutely woeful.
So I'll be using the time that we normally would have put into promoting the podcast and chatting about the podcast to go and read those things and donate myself.
But I hope everyone out there is keeping themselves as safe as they possibly can be.
And we will see you soon.
