Good morning, girlies.

It's the toast.

It's Jackson Claude, and we're your host.

It's your favorite show, the fast-five things you need to know.

We'll start your day off swirly.

It's the toast.

I sound amazing.

Welcome back to the toast.

Happy Mondaries.

Welcome back to the Patreon.

We've missed you a brand new week.

Jackson Claude on the ones and twos.

If you're watching again, we've moved.

We've met again.

We are going to keep moving every week until we find the hardiest location to podcast in our house.

Just in time for us to leave.

I do feel like this is it.

Today, Jackie's bedroom.

Mm-hmm.

We are setting up in a new corner.

We're using new microphones.

It's a journey that everyone's just honestly...

You should be honored to bear witness to.

Like, what's going on here is a work in progress.

It's trial and error.

Hopefully you love it.

Hopefully you don't hate it.

Constantly striving for perfection.

I do hope that you guys are just like happy to see our such beautiful faces.

And my God, do we have a lot to talk about?

Of course, we broke the internet two days ago with McClartia, which we are so going to get into.

It's such a juicy story.

Like

you guys aren't ready.

We're not ready.

I'm not ready because I wasn't even there.

Yeah, and you and I actually haven't really debriefed it in person because I got home from the carnival late.

And like Harry was sick and it was just like a drama-filled evening.

But I need to hear the story.

I have so many follow-up questions on behalf of myself and the viewers.

You know, and I'm happy to answer any and all questions.

We, of course, have pop culture to to talk about.

We asked the community on last week's episode what they wanted to see from us from the remainder of Patreon, and I thought it was going to be overwhelming, like vlogs, like enough we want vlogs.

You know what they said?

They said, keep doing what you're doing.

You're so perfect.

They said, shut up and sing.

They said, we love exactly what you're doing.

We wouldn't change a hair on your head.

Yeah.

I checked today.

And it's like, I can never like get a full read on what people want because I checked today just to see what people had said and everyone was saying vlogs.

But like at the beginning, everybody was saying pop culture.

No, Claudia, they said you're perfect.

They said you're gorgeous and skinny.

Don't move.

But I do think at the end of the day, if we're just talking shop, you and I about what's best for the business, I do feel like whatever we are passionate about will always wind up being the best content.

It's true.

And if we feel like there's a week where, you know, doing pop culture doesn't serve us and it's not a good pop culture week, thankfully Taylor Swift helped us out this morning.

There was like a decent amount of news to talk about.

We have still 1,000.

I like catching up on the news of the week.

I'm happy with this format and I'm optimistic that our new open window policy will make for a party experience.

And I'm sorry, there was just no way that like this week in particular, with the Brandon Blackstock of it all, Taylor's with potentially being on New Heights and then McLardia, there was no way we weren't doing a podcast today.

So maybe

if you're looking for a CNI vlog, check back next week.

Yeah, and there will be CNI vlogs.

I'm also hoping for an ASOD while all sisters are here.

I know everybody's hoping for an ASOD.

And honestly, they have to be.

We have four of these microphones.

We have four of these microphones.

If we can figure out how to connect them, we can have an ASOD.

We've been sitting on this couch.

By the way, ASOD is all Steens on deck.

We've been sitting on this couch for an hour,

figuring out, trying to figure out how to put these Bluetooth microphones.

And the last time we used these Bluetooth microphones, we did what's in my hospital bag, and they weren't connected the entire time.

Correct.

But the last time I used one was for my stroller haul, and it connected the whole time, and it was so wonderful.

We're also recording backup audio, and I do agree that this might be the best setup yet.

However, just like based on what I'm seeing in the camera, it's giving that scene an elf when he sits on real on elf furniture.

Every show we've ever filmed in our lives gives that scene an elf because we are elves.

Elves.

Correct.

We are Santa's little helpers.

Very little.

Tiny, teeny.

He can't even see us sometimes

when we turn to the side.

So skinny.

Okay, let's dive into the McLarty of it all.

Okay.

Like, I just, I feel like that's really what people are tuning in for.

Yeah, and I didn't even get to catch up with you because basically, from my POV, you went to the fair that night.

We had gone to the fair.

There's a carnival in town.

It benefits the local fire department, and it's like a major carnival.

Can we talk about carnivals for a second?

Yeah, sure.

What a crock.

Oh, my God.

Oh.

First of all, we get there and there's a ticket booth and like you need tickets to go on the rides.

So Ben was like, should I get bracelets for everyone?

Bracelet gets you engineering.

Unlimited rides.

$45 a person.

And I'm like, I don't know.

I don't feel like we're going to go on that many rides.

It was me, Ben, Ben's parents.

I'm like, Ben's parents are definitely not going on a ride.

So I'm like, get a couple of tickets.

So we got like a good amount of tickets.

And then we start going around.

And the things that we really wanted to do are like the carnival games, like toss the ring on a bottle.

$10 per person for one try.

So it's not even, you can't use the tickets.

Cash only.

The tickets don't apply to the games.

Yeah.

It's cash only.

And by the way, $10, there was nothing under $20.

It's like, oh, you want to shoot the water balloon?

You get two tries for $20.

And of course, you don't miss it.

You miss it.

So you want to do it again.

I didn't even bring cash.

I was like, they had an ATM, don't worry.

Oh, ATM's everywhere.

And as much as it is a croc, like it's for the fire department, so I'm happy to blow my money for the fire department.

But these individual vendors, they're taking all this cash collected and giving it to the fire department.

So that's.

Do you know the fire department?

That's where I was getting confused because I think like

which part of it benefited the fire department?

Definitely the stand with the tickets.

The tickets, totally.

And mission.

But I was just not getting the vibe because I knew how the carnivals work.

Like they travel together, like Leon and Locken.

They don't have an affiliation with the fire department.

Okay, I'm so glad we were talking about this.

I was confused as to like how the fire department was making money here.

And what's to stop someone from pocketing half of the everything's cash.

It's very informal.

No, there's no ledger.

Levi wanted like a giraffe.

It was a stuffed animal giraffe.

It was like large, not huge.

I would say the size of a one-year-old.

$80.

$80 for a stuffed animal, you guys.

For the fire department.

It was so crazy.

But let me just say, so I get to the carnival and um i'm waiting by the front because olivia and i took separate cars which was like such a big mistake there was no service i couldn't find her i was just standing there waiting around
