I have the news.

We announced last week, we're going to break some news.

Matt, I have to thank you.

But I would say, Jerry, you're never going to regret it.

Sometimes you got to throw in the towel.

You just got to throw in the towel.

This is like three years of negotiations.

I'm fully like, this is going to change the dynamics.

You were too scared to allow yourself to be excited about it.

If you just let me go like, ugh, I'll be all right.

I just need to freak out from time to time.

All right, here we are.

Throwbacks in the flesh.

Maddie, we're back in person.

Good to see you, bro.

You didn't think this was going to happen.

Every time it happens, I'm always like, it's happening.

Can we do it more?

A couple of things to unpack here.

Number one, it wasn't just me coming.

My wife, who I love.

My wife.

My wife, she sometimes, and I have a work trip that's up to her fun standard.

She's like, oh, I'll jump on that one.

Me and the kids are coming to L.A.

with you because she lived out in L.A.

obviously for a bunch of years.

So me and the boys came and

I have the news.

We announced last week, we're going to break some news.

Yes, it was big on throwbacks.

There's a lot of, there was a lot of news last week in the podcast world.

None bigger than what you're about to announce here on Throwbacks, which is

what is it?

partly because of his advice?

Uh, I got talked into baby number three for the untitled Jerry Bree project is happening due date February.

I blame you a lot because you're like, ah, three, three kids isn't that much.

It's easy to pay for it.

I'm actually easy.

I'm actually very responsible because one, I talked you off the ledge for about the last nine months.

I'm not necessarily off, but yeah, sure.

I've taken you back from the ledge a little bit.

Um, because I live this, I'm like tracking like a year ahead of you and all this.

So it's like, I had the same worries, the same scare, the same doubts, the same worries, the same, like, I'm hesitant, like I love our life now, all these things.

And it's been the greatest thing ever.

Uh, it truly is a blessing.

It's fun.

It's still, everything is the same.

You just got to keep going, but I'm so happy for you guys, man.

I know it was a long, tough, it's hard.

It's hard as we get older in our age, you know?

Yeah, 45, gonna be 46 when this kid's born.

Uh, and then

50, you're gonna be, well, that's what I'm saying.

You're gonna be like almost like, you're gonna be like 60 when your kid's like a freshman in high school, bro.

Yeah, think about

when, even if it's like a little girl, when that little girl grows up to go to like prom, right?

She'll be like 15.

And it's gonna be like, hey, someone go wheel dad out.

They're gonna have to come back.

That's how I feel sometimes.

You're still young.

I'll be like, ah, dude, I'm three years younger.

Have her back before nine.

I'm not going to scare nobody.

Age is just, age is a number man it's just it's it's about how you feel man it is a number but i also thought um being that my wife is here and in honor of the good news i think we have to hash something out because what's that due dates in february there's something else that happens in february we usually have a we had a big presence there last week the super bowl so which brings up a great debate of even like players in the past i know we were talking with van jefferson like famously his baby was born the confetti came down he's like i'm out

Obviously, not the same circumstances, but well, like, at what point, at what point do you,

at what point, if the baby's not like, at what point are you allowed to leave to go to the Super Bowl to work?

Well, we're going to ask her.

And look, she's pretty cool, but I figured, look, the Super Bowl is important for us.

We had a good footprint, Fanatics party last year.

I think throwbacks needs to be there.

This is a business now.

What's more important?

The Super Bowl throwbacks or leaving your newborn child and your wife like a day or two after your baby's born.

See, this is where my mind goes, though.

This is the family business.

I think you got to do it.

I think you got at the baby's before the Super Bowl, you got to go.

Well, here's some fun stuff to throw out on social.

And again, at Throwback Show on all the social platforms.

So

guys, girls out there, if you had to be at the Super Bowl for some work event, whatever it is,

how comfortable are you leaving?

after your baby's born is question number one.

And then number two,

if you had to call in a guest host last minute like if you're gonna be live on the fanatics red carpet again or at athletes first whatever we're gonna be doing at the super bowl and my little baby is not born yet you gotta get a guest host bro means you need a you need a backup a backup qb

who could come in and light it up as a quarterback i don't worry about shit that hasn't happened seven months from now okay well as i'm a day-to-day week-to-week guy as a paranoid italian new yorker i think about anything that could happen six months from now now that probably won't.

That's what I'm thinking.

We need to calm you down.

We need to get you some supplements or something to take the edge off.

Have you, segueing out of that, have you started to get your fantasy football nerves yet?

Like, when does liner, because I know you're nine.

I've done 50 mockers.

How are they, anything surprising?

Well, the only problem is I know my draft order on my big league already because we did a full thing out of a hat a couple weeks ago.

That draft is in a six so you're middle 12 or 10 10.

um all right i like 10 i'm in a 12-man league too or 12 team league um i'm six and this is our big this is our big league so this is the one i care about the most um so i've done every mock picking sixth and It comes out to a lot of the same type of players you're going to get.

This draft is these guys are pretty legit.

Everyone drafts pretty

to the cuff.

Like there's a couple reaches every once in a while, but everyone drafts pretty like

pretty like on top of like best available or like kind of their strategy so there's no like holy shit why did you like there's one or two so like I kind of know where I'm gonna go at six I've been telling my partner I'm like we're gonna get we're gonna get either like Jameer Gibbs who's going four or we're gonna get CD Lamb or we're gonna get like a Justin Jefferson because the first three have been like Bajon, Barkley, and Jamar Chase.

And then anything after that, it's kind of like those three or four players.

Like Derek, Derek Kennedy's been kind of high.

So like, we're going to get one of the top receivers or we'll get like a Jameer Gibbs.

If that's what we want.

So like, I'm kind of just playing off of basically.

So I've done probably 50 of those, dude.

And I'm in four other leagues, too.

So we don't even go there.

Well, no, we're going to, I think it's time we have the fantasy conversation because.

I, we talked about it last year on the show.

Like, I wanted to get away from it a little bit because I really, I live in a betting state and I enjoy betting more than fantasy at this point because it's just a little more control.

But I can't sell you on an auction draft, right?

You're just like snake draft.

Like, what is it?

If some people get so, I was like that for years, like, oh, auction draft.

I don't want to do that.

It's so much better.

I just, I don't know.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, dude.

I'm in five leagues.

Like, I don't want to

get the bugs.

You still get the enjoyment out of it.

I love it.

But you're a fantasy hater.

I love, I love, I only draft in person on one.

Um, all the other ones are just online, like whatever, but we have group chats on all of them.

I still get like a high off my fantasy drafts.

I love that shit.

I'm going to tell you in a second why I'm mad that you made this big fantasy pitch.

First, we're going to talk our all-time adventures driven by Nissan because it factors into the fantasy thing.

Okay.

In the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Adventure, ready and free from new tariffs.

Because, Matt, I had an all-time adventure.

What is it?

Well, because of of your big pitch of why fantasy is still awesome and you tried to talk me off the fantasy ledge, I joined another league.

I went into a new league with some writer friends, some Hollywood types, right?

Good group chat, said yes to the draft time, didn't really pay attention to when it wasn't, and it was exactly when my flight was.

Yeah.

So I joined this new league.

I talked a bunch of trash and now I can't be at the draft.

You were my emergency contact.

Matt, can you draft for me?

And you were like, uh no said no yeah because you don't want me to draft an auction leak for you because i wouldn't know what to do well all i know i could have said yeah and then butch uh bosh the whole thing all i know is i did find someone who i i went through my emergency contact list of people i would want to draft fantasy for me knowing i was going to be on a plane not trusting the wi-fi everyone said no my nephew had football camp my best friend said no i don't want to do that everyone said no and i got connected with someone that I've never met before, a buddy of mine's colleague, and was like, he'll draft for you.

This guy knows what he's doing.

We had four meetings.

And you know what?

I summed up fantasy too?

Let me just tell you, it was all, okay, these are like the five guys I like.

These are the five guys I'm okay with.

And here are the five guys, please, by any means necessary, do not draft.

Please.

And then that was it.

I went on the flight with my kids, traveling with four kids.

Isn't it three kids?

Two kids is an adventure.

Yes, you just went from four to three to two.

Because that's, I have, I'm like the Brady Bunch now.

Um,

and I have to say, it was pretty enjoyable to be on a flight with good Wi-Fi.

He was drafting for me, but I was

on it.

We were chatting every pick out, and uh, I want to unveil my team to you.

Let me hear it,

all right.

Auction 10 team.

Ready?

Okay.

Jordan Love and Kyler.

Oof.

Okay.

Oof.

Oof.

That's fine.

You obviously didn't spend a ton of money on your quarterback.

Chase Brown.

I think Chase Brown's legit.

All right.

We whiffed a little bit on running back two, okay?

We did not get the guy that we wanted.

So running back two might be Tyrone Tracy on the Giants.

Where I think we won.

Who were you going after?

There was some names.

We were going to try to sneak Kyron Williams, but he went for a big number.

That's the thing with auction.

Like some of these guys go for giant numbers.

But then we went Malik Neighbors.

Yeah.

And then we went Amon.

two skipping

machines.

This is why I wanted to pitch you.

This is my real all-time adventure.

I'm a firm believer that

two of the offensive rookies in every draft, regardless of what round, two of them are going to kind of pop.

I drafted all of them.

Not the big, I didn't draft Genti.

Like, I'm saying I went with the Reach, like Igbuka, am I saying that right?

Ameka Abuka, are you?

Saying it right?

Yeah.

Beast.

I got Tet.

I got, I got.

Tet was a top 10 pick, but yeah.

Okay, but he could easily.

I mean, look at Marvin Harrison last year.

He's in Carolina.

You know, I got golden.

I got golden.

So I basically have four rookies.

I know two of them have gotta pop.

Two of them have to pop.

T-Mac, as you call him, not Tet, T-Mac.

Is that the?

He goes, yeah, nickname.

He doesn't like Tet.

Has he said that?

I'm not sure Ted is even a nickname.

I think you just gave that to him, but he go, but T-Mac, he's by the way.

Other people have been calling him.

He's an Orange County kid.

So I didn't mean to offend him.

He'll be the number one there off the get-go.

So So that one has the most upside, I think, for sure.

And then Abuka,

I love anybody in the Bucs team just because Baker throws his shit all over the field.

Mike Evans is still doing his thing, but like Godwin's out for, Godwin's hurt, I think, for a bit.

But like Abuka will be number two.

He might be number two, right?

He's going to be number two the start of the season.

I really wish that with fantasy, and I still have a soft spot for it a little bit, but I just really miss the in-person stuff, man.

And I know it's so easy to draft on your phone phone or your computer, but like to me, that's the camaraderie was like half the battle.

Wasn't it?

I used to watch games against the dude I was also head to head.

Why are we still doing head to head?

I don't get home field advantage.

Why are we still doing?

Now, I've been doing this shit for 30 years.

Why are we still doing head to head?

What, how, how are you?

I have the second most points in the league and I missed the playoffs because I lost to the highest points scored for four weeks in a row.

Do you go by based on points?

or no, I don't.

We do head-to-head, but I'm like, wow, I have a really tough schedule this year.

I don't know.

I just think it's, I loved it in the beginning.

I think the head-to-head stuff is real.

Oh, you just got to

appreciate it for what it is, man.

It's just, it's just fantasy football.

It's fun.

Keeps you in tune with the game.

I can't sway you into an auction league at least.

No, no, it's not that I don't like it.

It's just I've never done it.

So I didn't want to draft for you.

But yeah, I have buddies that ask me all the time.

I'm just like, man, I'm already in five leagues.

Like, I can't i can't i have no time to do anything else now are you a drafter that like you'll take one guy in all five teams or do you find yourself in that awesome situation where like all right i need genti here but he's also gonna kill me here i'm not that i'm more i i am a big i am a big like wherever like the players fall to me where i'm at i kind of like best on the board best kind of yeah like obviously i always like i always target like i love getting josh allen dude like he's the number one guy but like

if he if he's there at the end of a second round on a turn like I would get him late second round or like early third or like I love Lamar too I've been a big so you like having one in a top first guy no but I've also but then like we had Jaden Daniels last year no one knew but I was like I told my partner you knew well we had we had who did we have maybe Herbert who's been you know up and down better than Joe Barr but then we were like we got Jaden Daniels I think dude I think this guy we might start by like week five like he's gonna be a star and sure enough we had him and we rode him for a long time um but yeah i mean i think i'm just more of like i'll spread it out but it depends on where i pick if i pick in the same spot i mean yeah like there's there's always guys there's always two or three that like

man i got like george kittle in three leagues or like like evan ingraham i love like he's a late round 10th round pick who like can still get you 80 catches um so like in all my mocks i've been doing other ones too it's like i'm kind of targeting i kind of get the same type of guys you know what i mean my boy charlie o'connell season two the bachelor bro.

Yeah.

He is one of the best drafters back in the day because his whole thing was he assumed he we could not draft till after Madden came out.

And then he would grind Madden for five days and he'd write down all the guys without, he was like Al Davis.

He drafted Jamal Charles three years in a row because he was 99 overall speed.

Darren McFadden, he took all the Madden 99 overall speed dudes, a running back, and that's who he drafted.

By the way, he won like that.

It was like Chris Johnson, Jamal Charles.

He had all the speed.

Those guys were fantasy.

They were, but he was taking them early when people typically, like, they hadn't popped yet.

It wasn't a 2,000-yard season.

Name a random fantasy player.

Yeah.

Like in the last 10 years, not recently, like 10, 15 years that won you fantasy league.

Yep.

Oh, God.

He's so random.

I don't even know if I can think of it.

Believe it or not, it was a Giants third string running back who became the starter at the end.

What was his name?

It's going to take me a second.

He 100% won me the league.

david johnson remember david johnson yeah of course i remember the cardinals like two years of like because that's when i started playing i think i was like he won me like a league outright do you want to know my worst i know my i remember my worst fantasy start of all time i'm a big like i used to be anyway like you don't know about this guy i almost i was playing charlie o'connell in a championship game 10 15 years ago and arian foster hadn't popped yet no no he was a no-one played with him he was a beast.

I think he finally got like 10 carries in a game the week or two before, and he had like 10 for like 80 and a touchdown.

I start.

He didn't play.

One carry

in the fantasy Super Bowl, one carry.

And then next year, he went on to become Arian Foster, like first round pick.

Freak.

You know who did work for me too?

Travis Henry did some work for me, believe it or not.

Travis Henry.

Travis Henry, running back.

Oh, God, that's old.

Dude, I've been playing this shit for a long time.

So, wait, who was your worst one?

Would you say?

Oh, no, I'm just thinking like David Johnson, I remember my worst.

I mean, I've

who was that dude on the Giants?

He's not even on the team anymore.

Wayne Gallman.

Gallman.

You didn't know Wayne.

You weren't going to pull that.

Never.

No, I know the name, though.

Never.

If you said Wayne, I would have said Gallman.

He won me a fantasy league.

And that's what I mean about fantasy and why it's ridiculous.

You will, if you want to win your league by week 10, you'll have to find Wayne Gallman.

That's the beauty of the waiver wire.

You just find the pickups.

When did we lose trading though meaning like when did it become like trading is bullshit i want your best running back and here's my third string running back and my second or third best receiver that you're going to try to convince me is i do all those i also i do all those trades like are these are these fair trades right you do in like an evaluator thing

i'm i'm just more like how is it going to benefit an asshole in my league which is not the way to do it, but that's kind of what I did.

So that part, the trades in my big league, we don't even trade.

Like we try, but it's like, it gets vetoed all the time.

And that's the only part I hate about it.

I have things I would fix about fantasy, just saying.

If you love Wendy's classic frosty flavors, we have some big news for you.

There are all new Frosty Swirl and Frosty Fusion flavors.

So it's the same creamy treat you've always loved now with the flavor refresh.

So what are these new flavors?

Well, thanks for asking.

There are a lot.

I said caramel, crazed fanatic, brownie batter buff, Pop-Tart Strawberry Fanatic, Oreo Brownie Stan.

Anyway, whatever flavor you're craving, odds are we've got a frosty for it.

So clock in for sweet treat time with Wendy's all-new frosty flavors.

A refresh on a classic, it's got to be Wendy's.

What's up, guys?

I just want to take a second and tell you about something that's been really great in helping me maintain a healthy lifestyle.

That's cachava.

Whether you are on the field, off the field, or hosting a podcast like me, cachava's whole body mealshakes will keep your body and mind nourished all day.

So for me, my health journey has been a long road.

You know, I got into some really good shape years ago.

And now 10 years later, having kids, being pretty busy with this podcast, for me, it was really hard for lunches.

I feel like I could handle breakfast well and dinner well, but I needed that great meal replacement, something healthy for lunch.

And that's where cachava came in.

And first guess for me was the flavors.

I said, what is this going to taste like?

And chocolate has quickly become my favorite.

I'm a big chia seeds guy.

Lots of benefits from chia seeds.

They also have 25 grams of plant protein.

I was curious how plant protein was going to taste.

It was pretty good as well as 26 vitamins and minerals, six grams of fiber.

And it really is good for me being so on the go.

No, I have something.

And my personal move is I'm a big frozen fruit guy.

That's why I get the smoothie to be really cold.

So I add a little frozen fruit.

When I want to feel a little fuller, throw in a little bit of peanut butter right there.

Cachava has been great.

And I want to give you guys the chance to try it yourself.

You can fuel your game with cachava if you go to cachava.com and use the code throwbacks for 15% off your next order.

That's cachava, k-a-c-h-a-v-a.com.

Code throwbacks for 15% off.

I'm curious to know your favorite flavor: chocolate, vanilla, chai, matcha, coconut, acai.

I said that pretty right.

So again, cachava.com, throwbacks, 15% off.

And let me know how you like to use it.

You know, sometimes having a lot of options can be a good thing, but just as often it could feel a little bit overwhelming.

I know me, when I'm trying to even figure out which TV show to watch or what movie to stream to sit down with, or even sitting down in a restaurant, sometimes you get those giant menus that have 150 options and you just can't figure out what to order.

Yeah, Jerry, and the same applies if you're a business owner who's hiring.

All right, it's time now for Crossroads presented by Nitza.

The next time you're out drinking, call a ride share, a taxi, a sober friend, or a designated sober driver.

The only decision that will change your world for the better is the decision to call for a sober ride.

Drive sober or get pulled over.

Crossroads, buddy.

We talk about crossroads.

We talked earlier in the segment.

I am no longer at a crossroads.

I'm on cloud nine for you guys.

We are on the road to baby number three.

And my lovely wife, Bree, is here to join us.

Matt's more excited about this.

We are breaking the internet today, baby.

In honor of Taylor and Travis' episode, we are.

This is way better.

Are you kidding me?

Look at, she's glowing.

Oh, you're glowing.

Matt, I have to thank you.

That's a big part of this.

I will, I will pat myself on the back.

I did have some, I did, we're on the same journey.

Josie, we have our six-month-old.

We've been talking about this.

You know, you guys have.

Just do it.

Just do it.

It's never that easy.

But I would say, Jerry, you're never going to regret it.

And you got two beautiful boys now.

Your wife wants a third.

I'm down this path.

Sometimes sometimes you got to throw in the towel.

You just got to throw in the towel.

Like, now, I do think it's strange that, like, our due date for baby number three is everything.

Daughter's birthday.

That's pretty strange, just timing of how that happened.

And here we are.

You're, you're there.

Here we are.

Listen, let's, we're going to be honest because we were honest on this show.

I was very scared and hesitant.

Not because I love babies and I love kids and I love being a dad.

I felt like I was,

you know, hands full.

This is like three years of negotiations.

You,

but he finally gave up.

Yeah, I never knew how hard to push it.

Right.

But then at some point you said, oh, God.

And then I was like, it's now or never.

Like, well, let's, let me ask you guys a question.

Let's talk about negotiations since you just brought up negotiations.

What kind of negotiations were going on in this process?

Yeah, Jerry, I'll let you start.

Well, look.

Again, I was a little hesitant because, you know, my whole thing I used to say to Bree was, like, are our hands not full like do we have spare time like your video with Josie which is a funny one when you released that you were having a fair word you guys win like the best yeah

they're like we have life all great this is great let's go f shit up yeah I believe that.

Like you were kind of joking, but kind of say, I'm fully like, this is going to change the dynamic completely.

But you'd said something.

But you think of all like the negative things first before you think of all the good things.

And that's where I got you.

Like, that's where I had had to be.

Well, ultimately, too, you said something to me

like by year two, when we started talking about this, where you're like, I just don't feel done.

I know.

You said, I just don't feel done like having babies.

And I at first didn't understand what that meant.

I'm like, what do you mean?

We are done.

And, and that, and you kind of turned, you turned our six-year-old against me a little bit.

He would look at me, Jacob and go like, dad, come on, dad, one more.

He would just hear us talk about it, though.

I didn't really.

I think it's a great question.

And like, and in very, in all seriousness, because I remember Josie and I's negotiation was about a year and a half.

So it was a long time.

It was like, and I, and, and quite honestly, and she, I was like a hard no.

And I was like, and it felt selfish, but for my reasons, it wasn't selfish, but it was still like,

I just like, no, we're good.

We're happy.

We're in a great spot.

All the, all the positive things, right?

Like we're working, all these things.

And then she did say that.

She was like, and, and I think she broke down and she goes, I, you won't ever experience this or feel this but as a woman and as a mother i feel it internally that i'm meant to have another child and when she to your point when she said that i was like i actually got goosebumps i'm like i'm like damn like how could you say like one i'm in my mind i always knew we're gonna have another because i'm like i'm not gonna do my wife will she'll regret it and she'll hold that against me and i'll feel guilty the rest of my life and and it was that it was that phrase and that what she said.

I was like, you're right.

I won't know, but I knew how much it meant to her.

And it was just a little bit of me like in our selfish world of like hey we get to do this stuff we are so good just like you guys

are good system

but that was it and jerry had said you kind of had said that too so like what what does that mean like did you guys do this thing where whenever you backed like whenever she would back off then you would kind of be like well maybe we should because that's what jerry does to me i would put the toe back in the water i would not no i was dude i was out i didn't hear about baby cover three for like two weeks i would back off

and then all of a sudden he'd be like i like this name.

And I look at him and be like, I don't know why.

I don't know why I did that to you.

That was kind of messed up.

But I guess maybe deep down, I was, I didn't want it to go away.

You were too scared to allow yourself to be excited about it.

Like you didn't want to get there.

And rightfully so.

Like, you never know what's going to happen.

You know, like, you could try, you could not get pregnant.

Things happen.

And we were very lucky.

But you like, that's just how you are in general.

What is it, not to put you on the spot, like, what does it mean, like, as a woman to do that?

I genuinely, genuinely, like, cause it really hit me.

Like, it's like, it just, you feel it in your bones, in your body.

You say you couldn't explain.

How do you, how do you feel?

You just can't.

Yeah.

Like, I'm like, it's not like I want a vacation

or like a bag or something.

Like, this is this

deeper desire.

And I think at any point, a woman has to grieve that, whether she's going to have kids or not have kids.

Right.

Like, you grieve that part of your life being over.

But I just wasn't ready to do it.

I mean, I could have got myself there if he, like, truly, truly, if I really thought it was going to like blow up our marriage or so, like, I could have got myself there.

Now he's like, what?

He's like, you could have?

Could have told me that around two and a half months ago, three months ago.

We had the same thing.

I think she would have got to it too, but it was just like, I just couldn't, I couldn't do that.

No, in the end, for me, it was also like,

I,

after all the fear of it goes away, it's like, it is nice to have a, a big crew, right?

To be like this big traveling circus kind of.

And then honestly at the end of it like i looked at our kids and our oldest was like all about i'm like you know what when i'm long gone there will be three of them together and i guess hopefully they all get along and they're they're a tight-knit you know sibling group and i i feel like in the end when my time comes down the road i'll feel a little bit better about all right at least there's there's three of them four

and

you know it's gonna be i think that was the hard part we were talking about it's like because i was the same way i was like you're so caught up up in the now and the moment.

Like, now is great, Renee.

But Josie would always be like, but think about how special it'll be when our kids are older and we have grandkids and there's this big family where like Christmas is and all of these things.

And I'm like, I don't really want to think about 20 years from now.

You know what I mean?

But like, it does.

It's like, you have to kind of sit back and like, and again.

Well, Jerry, Jerry's go-to is like, I'm going to be 95.

Well, I do.

I do support that.

Thank you.

I'm 45 years old.

When the baby's born, I will be 46.

You are going to be the old ass dad and pick up.

No, you are.

There's women having babies at this age.

Come on.

No, I know.

And I know I have to carry the child or birth the child, but like 45.

There's pros and cons to it.

You've lived a lot of life.

Like you have a lot to offer now.

Not that you wouldn't have when you were younger, but you know what she did too?

Like two things that were sort of sneaky.

I don't know if Josie does this.

And those of you listening, I don't know if in your relationship, your wife or your husband does this.

Like I would wake up at my normal time and there'd be like four or five middle-of-the-night DMs on Instagram that she sends me forwarded that are all these couples that have like five kids.

And this is a look at our family, we just like let it go.

And all this, like on the fence about having the third, let us tell you, greatest decision we ever made in our life.

All these Instagram clips, but then I would talk to a few parents of three.

Most of them were like, hey, look, the third kid just kind of fits in and it's all good.

But then every now and then, there's the one that's like, yo, three

is no joke.

And they had like a look of terror in their eyes.

So that would always snap me back.

I think that the, the,

we have a six-month-old daughter and our boys, and we have an older son.

Um, so we have four technically, but the three, it, it's been easy because she's very easy.

You guys got, we got a chance to, you guys got a chance to meet her.

She's been easy, and we have always been, credit Josie, a role, a roll with the punches, go-go.

You guys do have that, but the line arts have.

By the way, we love hometime.

We love snaps.

We love that.

But like, we, there's never like a let's not do like let's just do the boys are gonna roll the daughter's gonna roll and we're gonna make it you're not prisoner to the next

you're just not prisoner to that and if you do it's just that's that's what can put a strain on a relationship it could just put a strain on a lot of things yeah so for for to your point three has been really easy for us because we just have that mindset of like yeah we're not gonna let the baby's time dictate everything that we do now we're yeah like again i'm definitely more like that you'll get there babe i I don't know if I can ever get there.

Yeah, but you got to just let it go.

You got to, or else you're going to stress yourself out.

I think it's time to like talk about something that I think we could work out here, the three of us.

It's relevant to the podcast.

It's relevant to our life.

It's definitely relevant to you.

I'm going there now.

Do you want to preface what the meat and potatoes of this talk is?

About what's coming up in a certain date?

Well, before that.

This is about golf.

Well, no.

Before that.

This is about golf.

Because I sold my soul to golf to get a third baby.

Like, that's how this really happened.

Tell everybody about golf mood.

But I was losing it, anyways, to golf.

So, tell everyone about tell Matt about golf mood.

I don't think you've met this version of Jerry.

This is a perfect segue because, hold on one second.

I did get oh, you got a gift?

I got Jerry's.

I got Jerry new golf apparel.

Because he did say the negotiations.

Our friends, my friends are Travis Matthew.

What?

Hold on.

They here, hold on.

Matt, I thought you were on my side here.

Jerry, congrats on baby number three.

Here's some TM gear to keep you fresh.

Oh, that's

sweet.

This is unfair what he's doing, though.

This really has nothing to do with the baby, but this was also a gift from us to you because this is for you.

Aviator Nation.

Oh,

here,

is a

good West Coast and like

Aviator Nation.

Is that comfy for my pregnancy?

This will probably be post-pregnancy,

but it's put it away.

And uh, so sweet, it's also kind of for me to continue to get you guys to move out to the west coast, you know, just little gifts to make sure that you guys you told me you were up.

You were, you, you had to like, you have to convince me you love Manhattan Beach, and now so we're moving to baby number three, and we're moving back to California.

A lot of change here, let's put this down, okay?

But I got you some golf gear, that's sweet, my boys over there, but let's talk golf really quick, the negotiations of golf, because your husband got me into golf, and Josie's a little bit like

i go babe i go babe it's like he went to scotland

i will say i i went to scotland you went to

three home the birthplace of golf and i was like he went i asked jerry i'm like should i go he goes of course you go i'm like all right i asked josie josie was like this is she's great she's like are you kidding me you have to go like you can't miss an opportunity jerry gets so many golfers i know he does it's at my computer like stuff like it makes my head spin like he's way when he's like when he i know when he's about to tell me about a tournament that he got

how does it go?

So what's golf mood?

Yeah, I need to talk to you about something.

I'm like I make it sound important Where and when are you golfing or like more importantly where

because he gets invited to like the craziest places.

Yeah, but that's amazing.

It's amazing because I'll tag along for some of it.

So Through this podcast, I got Matt into golf and you got me to have a third trade by the way.

I feel like you won that trade in a big

real quick crazy golf.

I got invited to Patrick Mahomes' thing in Vegas.

Patty Mahomes.

When was that?

May the baby was like eight weeks old.

Baby and Josie came.

This is, this is talk about going just, no, no, no.

Listen, it was talk about like just, and it's an easy flight for us.

Going with the flow.

We got a nanny there that had babysat her best friend.

So we had this.

We went out that night with a nine-week old.

With the gold.

Now, granted, we ended up actually coming home pretty early because we were just over it.

But like, we did the, we did the very nice dinner.

We went out, had some drinks, like the bar, whatever and then and we left we the baby i don't know she might get mad

no it was but it was just going with the flow the baby was nine weeks old is that really

this is a little off for a golf tournament sports nerd for a second though when you quarterbacks get together is it like a club like a quarterback club like hey because you know what that's a lot like it's pretty much like you and mahomes it's almost like an unspoken life i had never even met mahomes and it's always just like boom what's up it's like instant there's just a respect of because you kind of have that with actors like you might not know the person personally Like, oh, we do the same thing.

You know, there's for sure.

Like, when you're in the same room, it's like you can go up to anyone and be like, oh, older, younger, for the most part.

Some of the younger kids don't, obviously, as you get older, but like all the people.

Get out of here, old man.

Don't tell me that.

This is great.

And it's like, you just hang, like, what's up?

Oh, yeah.

Like, you know, never.

Okay.

Golf negotiations.

Yeah.

Where are we on these?

How are we feeling about the future of golf?

Have I, how has my summer of golf been to this point, in your opinion?

Like, have I abused our negotiation privileges?

Pretty mild.

Yeah.

I would say you golfed more last summer.

Well, just know.

In spite of like our negotiation privilege.

There's a storm a coming.

Oh, I know.

There's a storm.

I know it's brewing.

There's a golf storm a coming.

Listen, this is important because all the guys listening, they need advice because we talk about this all the time.

Like, what do you tell your wife when you need to go golf?

I know that's such a silly thing to, and I wasn't basing like, oh, should we have this third baby on can I golf or not?

Cause that's the most selfish thing in the world.

A little bit a little bit of part of it but like i remember when our first kid was born they like my friends when jacob was born i was just getting back into golf they're like oh over under three and a half rounds of golf this summer i'm like wait i'm only gonna play golf three times this summer that'll never happen and i think i played like five but it definitely is uh

and we lived in

we lived in

we lived in williamsburg brooklyn place six months a year that's terrible golf in like brooklyn is a lot harder because you have to drive way home

suburbs yeah i'm not a a huge, like, it's a six-hour day.

Well, that's it.

And he'll go to courses that are like an hour and a half away.

I'm like, do you have to add three hours on to your already seven-hour day?

Like, where am I going for nine hours?

It's not about golf mood.

Golf mood.

What is it?

You know what golf mood is?

I mean, apparently it's pretty bad.

No, no, no, it's amazing.

Oh, your golf mood?

What is it?

What is life like for you?

Oh, yeah.

I wake up.

There's like breakfast ready.

The kitchen's cleaned.

Like, he is.

The boys are dressed.

How are you, honey?

What are you doing today?

Is there anything I can help you with before I leave?

Although, you know what?

Your golf game must be really bad right now

because

your golf mood has changed the last few times you've gone golfing.

My golf game is in shambles, right?

You know what?

I know that because your golf mood has not been nearly what it usually is.

All right.

Are you ready to evoke this?

This is really why we wanted to have you on here because

this does relate to the show.

It affects Matt.

It affects Eddie.

It affects Adam,

Rich, Andrew.

It affects a lot of people, including you.

What's up?

In arguably the biggest way.

Okay.

So

we have our due date, February 4th, and obviously

3rd.

Not that it matters, but yeah.

Clearly it does.

And obviously the big thing is you just want a happy, healthy baby, you, everyone.

Like, that's all that matters.

So assuming that's going to happen,

the Super Bowl this year is what, February 9th, I believe is the Sunday.

Last year, we did our big Fanatics red carpet live show.

We'll get to that

from you.

This year, and we have a new sponsor about to come on who I think is going to want to be a big part of our Super Bowl show that we're going to do.

Keep going, Jerry.

You got to.

Spit it out.

Due date, February 3rd.

I technically, if we were not having a baby, I need to be in Santa Clara.

Santa Clara is just outside of San Francisco.

Not easy to get to.

When is it?

February 9th.

February.

February 9th.

Oh.

I need to be

the 8th.

Which means the show is 7th.

Which is like the night of the 7th.

Oh, my gosh.

So it would be fly in the 7th.

So I'd be like...

Super Bowl is the 8th.

So no, no, no.

Fly in the 6th.

Super Bowl Sunday's the 8th.

So fly in the 6th.

Show the 7th.

Fly right home.

Yeah.

Assuming you are on time, what to you is the cutoff of like, obviously, if you don't have the baby by like February 3rd or 4th, I mean, if I have the baby, how much, yeah, like what's the timeline we're thinking here?

Because this happens with players all the time, sure.

Just let her nervous.

I know you're nervous, you're talking.

I talk a lot when I get nervous, Eddie.

I mean, I would like to make it work for you because you, you, but also knowing that this is a big moment for our family, and I want to.

Yeah, I mean, I brought, I don't want to like push a baby out, and then like you're on a plane.

I agree, I agree.

So, like,

but you, if you go in, do your stuff, get out,

we can probably make it happen.

But you do know some women go later, later.

Well, we're not sure.

But I actually, this is on your side.

I've gone early with both the boys.

He's just beating around the bush way too much.

If the baby was born, there we go.

Yeah.

You know what?

It would be so much better if he approached things this way.

Yeah.

Like, he talks too much.

He does.

He does this with our kids, like me.

Like, I'm like, just get to it.

If the baby was born, say,

Friday morning, maybe 3 a.m.

Okay.

And he, he has, we have big shows Saturday.

So he has to be on a flight, maybe a red eye Friday night.

So that's a day.

Is that what he does?

He just puts you on the spot.

He likes to put people on the spot.

But to me, before you came, I was like, that's obviously the very last you could even get out because if it's after, you just can't go.

But the baby's here.

All your family's there.

He wants to be here.

If all my family is there and I I feel comfortable with how the boys, I'm honestly more worried about the boys being taken care of than myself and the baby.

Well, you're, but yeah, but.

Yeah, but you got

family.

You can make it happen.

We got six months.

He's nervous because we will have to get a guest host in there.

By the way, I'm not nervous because I know it's all going to work out.

Right.

It's all going to work out.

But a guest host could be fun.

I just couldn't.

Well, we're going to start additional guest hosts.

Friday morning, dude.

I got you, bro.

I got you that next one.

I don't think Friday morning.

I don't think that's.

Friday would be tough.

I might have.

I think you'll make it.

I think you'll make it.

Yeah.

I'm confident that you'll make it.

I think so, too.

Yeah.

By the way, amazing.

It's all going to work out.

It'll work out.

And if it doesn't,

I wanted to take this moment to just say publicly:

does Jerry make the Super Bowl?

I was going to go a different route.

Guys, guys,

what should we do?

Should he go?

What's the cutoff?

We got to ask the.

I think that friday is crazy that's my opinion i'm just saying i think that's wild i don't think i'd want to go at that point obviously and i think that's a little that's true he said that before he's like i don't know my opinion i think that's like all right i get how important this is and work stuff is important it is also just we have a great show going here a great thing going but i feel like that's like you know you'll be tired this happens with athletes i have the baby overnight you're gonna be a little tired what if i was playing in the Super Bowl and you hadn't had the baby yet.

You would just be like, go play in the Super Bowl, right?

Yeah, I mean, this, no, like, no offense, baby.

It's our third baby.

A pretty comfortable birth age.

She would let me play in the Super Bowl.

So if you were still active playing quarterback and

you were having like

your baby girl now and it was Saturday before the Super Bowl and your wife did not go into labor yet and you're just waiting, you're going to the game.

I mean, has that happened?

Like, are there any like cool stories that that's happening?

Like I've heard that regular season games or whatever.

Guys have like finished games and literally gone like right to the game.

They ran to the hospital.

Yeah.

Or, well, sometimes they're on the road, so they're not where their wife is.

I played with a teammate who her, his wife was giving birth during the game in Arizona, and he just went straight to the hospital, right?

So he missed it, but he was there.

Super Bowl was like, well, I did want to publicly take this opportunity to say I was terrified.

I was scared.

I was unsure.

A lot of positivity from you, positivity from you.

And we made the decision as a family.

And I have to say, I am very excited and I'm happy that you know, I know it's going to be hard.

And if you give me the room to do my freak out thing, we're like,

like, if you just let me go, like,

I'll be all right.

I'll be all right.

I just need to freak out from time to time.

Yeah, look, I'm glad you're coming to terms with it.

I have no, I'm sure.

We are probably going to have another third crazy boy.

Like, just know.

This is her hedging and trying to put out into the girl vibes out into the right and he's got three too so uh like

i got i got 50

pink necklace thing we got i got girl vibes all over 50 50 shots so i publicly will say i was on the fence but i am so happy now and i'm so ready to go and if it is a girl i am just gonna enter training because i feel like i need to be more physically threatening to all the idiots that are out there so i might go on steroids maybe would you care if i went on hdh steroids

Another boy, I'll just go for another one.

We'll be that famous.

Well, I'm saying if it's a girl,

it's a girl I want to be like jacked up.

So when they see me, because Matt, you know, he got a little easy.

He's like 6'5.

I feel like at my size, I just need to jack up.

So if anyone sees me, they probably think I do jiu-jitsu or I'm like a UFC fighter.

Get the cauliflower ears.

In my marriage, I'm the non-confrontational one, and my wife would be like that.

Josie would be right up there.

She's like, can you?

I'm like, if I had to, she's like, would you even, I'm like, of course I would do something.

Of course you would.

But like, I don't like anything fighting.

Like, no, like, hey, none of that.

I feel like your little girl is going to be the most well-protected little girl in the South.

She's got three older brothers of various ages.

By the time she's like eight, she'll have a 26-year-old brother.

She'll have like a 12-year-old brother and a 10-year-old brother.

It's just, I dare you to talk trash to your little girl.

It's over for you.

It's around.

So, congratulations.

Honey, I love you.

So, so excited for you guys.

We reunited on the pod.

It's been a while since we've done a pod together.

So, yeah, bad for business for life life if you don't remember.

And

when was that, 2012?

Yeah.

Well, you look beautiful.

Thank you.

And we're going to take a quick break.

All right, everyone.

Listen up.

It's time to flex your ruggedness in the Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek.

Whether you're going off-road up a rocky trail on a weekend trip with your boys or driving through a snow-covered road trying to get the kids to school, the Pathfinder Rock Creek can handle it.

Yeah, that's right.

The Pathfinder Rock Creek comes equipped with 18-inch beadlock style wheels with all-terrain tires to help you handle the tough conditions on and off-road.

And with a tubular style roof rack that has up to 220 pounds of dynamic capacity, you'll be ready to haul the gear you need to your next adventure.

I'm telling you, this is the one.

It's the Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek.

Let's go.

Intelligent four-wheel drive cannot prevent collisions or provide enhanced traction in all conditions.

Always monitor traffic and weather conditions.

Drinking and driving is a decision that could change your whole world.

Things will never be the same once you get a DUI because legal fees and time in court are just the beginning.

Getting into a crash is another way your world could be irreversibly changed after drinking and driving.

Your vehicle may not be the only thing that gets damaged in that crash.

You could face a life-altering injury or even death, but you're not the only one who could face those consequences.

Your decision to drink and drive could permanently change someone else's world, whether you injure them or leave their loved ones grieving.

The next time you're out drinking, call a ride share, a taxi, a sober friend, or a designated sober driver.

The only decision that will change your world for the better is the decision to call for a sober ride.

Drive sober or get pulled over, paid for by NHTSA.

You ever watch someone like Christian McCaffrey?

Guy's a machine, right?

He's out there 20-plus touches a game, sprinting, cutting, blocking, catching passes, and he never looks tired.

That kind of stamina isn't luck.

It's the result of insane discipline, recovery, and dialed-in nutrition.

You don't stay that explosive unless every part of your day is locked in.

Now, I'm not taking hits on Sunday, but I do know what it feels like to need fuel that actually keeps up with your life.

And that's why I am hooked on cachava.

Their whole body shake has become a staple in my daily routine.

And the new strawberry flavor, kind of a game changer.

It's got real freeze-dried strawberry and it tastes like dessert, except every two scoops of cachava, you get 85 plus superfoods, nutrients, and plant-based ingredients.

I blend mine with some almond milk, frozen blueberries.

It takes about 30 seconds and it keeps me full and focused for hours.

No soy, no gluten, no artificial anything, just clean plant-based ingredients that work.

Now, I always loved chocolate, but I got to admit, strawberry might be my new flavor.

You've never chased a strawberry like this, go to cachava.com and use code throwbacks for 15% off your order.

That's cachava, k-a-c-h-a-v-a code throwbacks, 15% off.

Lock in.

All right, it's now time for the flavor of the week presented by Wendy's.

Find your new favorite Frosty Fusions flavor today with choices like Oreo, Brownie, caramel crunch, and Pop-Tart strawberry.

I feel like our previous guest is going to maybe enjoy some Frosties soon.

Just saying she might have some cravings.

Dude, she's so great, man.

It's all your fault, man.

It's all your fault.

Your golf game's going to pick back up.

Buddy, I know we briefly touched upon it last week that preseason doesn't mean anything.

I mean, stuff for the players and the reps and all that.

Like, for sure, you can't really tell anything by a season.

And I don't want to bog you down with giant stuff, but I feel like...

It's going to bog me down.

Well, this might be as good as it gets this year for them, right?

They are 2-0 in the preseason, and they have looked freaking phenomenal.

And jackson dart looks phenomenal i think what it i think what it is is you got you got

russell wilson who's throws an 80 yard

moon ball out you have you have you're gonna have good quarterback play which unfortunately you haven't had in the last however since eli and yeah and then the last few years at eli don't even really count yeah so like you just there's going to be a consistency of that position and then you have the future and the future is the kids a stud.

And with the right coaching,

all things point to them going this way instead of kind of just like, what are we doing?

So, does this matter, though, as a Giants fan, right?

Again, like, I'm realistic, and I know, first of all, they're in a horrendous division to be good in.

Like, the Eagles are great, Commanders are now great.

I think the Cowboys are going to

be better.

Dax there, so they will, they haven't beat the Cowboys in like 12 years.

And I just, but the, it's been so depressing.

And the offense, there's never been big plays.

There's not players to get excited about.

And now there finally is.

Can you ride off the vibes even of the preseason?

Like skill may ultimately come back around.

They may win five or six games.

But

I feel like these vibes could propel you at least to a good team.

Just because you have a more.

talented team.

I mean, you got to remember in the NFL,

there's so much parity, man.

Every team is really good, right?

Even like your worst team is still competitive in damn near every game.

Maybe

you lose by a couple touchdowns, which in the NFL is a blowout, kind of.

But like,

everyone is paid.

Everyone's professional.

Everyone's very good.

So

just because on paper, you're more talented or like Philly, I mean, Philly's a very good team doesn't necessarily mean or equate to wins.

So something to your point, if you have, you have improvement in the most important positions,

you have great leadership in the locker room, or you have guys, and again, we're speculating, who knows?

And then you have a young star in Jackson Dart that everyone's just fired up about.

There's just

a pulse in the locker room and in the building that's probably different from the past.

And what you're saying is, does that carry you?

Yeah.

It sure does carry you.

It's like in anything, it's like it's momentum.

It's

energy.

It gets guys going a little bit more.

They want to come to work.

Then all of a sudden, you start the season.

I i mean look the giants could beat the commanders anytime the giants could beat the cowboys like like it's so it's they're it's it's like this man like when you're you just go out there and play good football so like and then all of a sudden you start winning some of those games then then you start to really believe so like yeah absolutely now it is preseason you can't put a ton of stock into it i think for the giants you're excited that you have a star in the future

and it looks fun you have a star at wide receiver from last year malik neighbors who i think i hasn't even played really as preseason rider.

He's been hurt a little bit, but he's a star.

Russ is solid.

There was a great deep ball.

We haven't had a deep ball since

vintage Elijah last time.

Imagine you're scoring seven to 10 points more a game, 14 points more a game, probably is what good quarterback play leads to.

Dude, that's nine and eight to 11 and five.

Or like, you know what I mean?

Here's something else that I don't know, again, because it's all professional athletes.

But again, bringing it back to the acting world, I've been a part of some casts, whether it's entourage or even like indie stuff, where the vibes are high.

Everybody wants to be there.

Everyone kind of likes each other.

Seems like the Giants do.

But then you start also here, because if I'm not in the scene, I don't really know what went on.

But then you'll show up to work the next day and be like, oh, dude.

Badge did this scene.

You actually had the whole crew crying.

That's how good.

That's how good this scene was.

And then you start to go, all right, well, shit.

Yeah.

I better, my scene's coming up.

I better kill it.

Like, you, you start riding off, not competitive, like, I want to be better than you, but I, whoa, badge just did that.

I better match it with a,

I better just try just as hard because that word starts to get around.

And I feel like that's a little bit what's happening.

Like, guys are starting to play good.

And I feel like other guys maybe look at that,

overthinking it.

Why are you laughing at me?

Because you're just a desperate New York Giants fan.

You want desperately so bad for your team to be good again.

Look, By the way, good start preseason,

good things to build around.

Let's just see.

You take it week to week, bro.

That's what you do in football.

Let's unwind this for one more second.

Because now that we could finally say

at least in New York, we no longer ever have to discuss Daniel Jones again unless he balls out in Indiana.

We can see that.

I fought hard for Daniel Jones on throwbacks all year.

I fought hard for I hung around with him, but

Dable.

He's about to go start for the Colts.

I know.

That's what I'm saying.

I've told his ball.

He's going to light it up.

You know, he's going to light it up.

You can see that headline.

Daniel Jones stuns as the Giants realize he was good.

But here,

Dable is kind of on the hot seat.

Like, not real, but, you know, two bad years in a row.

Does this mean that we really undervalued that playoff season when Daniel Jones won a playoff game and out-dueled Kirk Cousins?

Does that mean Dable is maybe way better as a coach than, because right right now they like almost are trying to get him out.

Like, Dable is the problem.

Giants have been bad for this is it.

If he doesn't win this year, he's out.

By the way, he just bought himself more time by getting Jackson Dart.

Right.

Because then he gets to fully.

He basically gets Jackson Dart's career.

Yeah, if Jackson Dart plays this year, you can like have some growing pains.

But like, if he looks great, competitive, we're on to something.

Like, let's keep him together.

I implore you, go look at the box score of that Giants Vikings playoff game three years ago on the road.

Dancing Jones and the offense looked fantastic and now you cut to years later you wonder how the hell did he do that because it was it's the same team last year was the same team

every year Isaiah Hodgins had 130 yards and two touchdowns bro it's it's deep come on bro do you know who you know what excite got me a little pumped up is your son Cole Yeah, because I didn't know he knew

Jackson great.

We know so I was doing my Giants hype thing and Cole's kind of being real coy.

He's like, yeah, no, Jackson looks good.

I'm like, oh, you're calling him Jackson.

Like, you know me.

He's like, yeah.

And then he's like, no, no, the dudes, he, you know what Cole said?

He said, like, he wants to be a great cooler.

I'll tell you something.

And that fired me all up.

Tell you about something about Jackson.

You know, you, you kind of like.

There's a trait, like the it factor, you hear that, but there's a, there's a certain aura or like Joe Burrow has it, right?

There's a, there's a, a little bit of a swag.

You see in all these sports, Baker Mayfield has it.

He has it.

Cleveland.

Well, Cleveland botched that.

And now he's looking at

playoff quarterback, winning games, and just love the dude.

Jackson Dart, now, I don't want to make him the next Brady, but like he has an aura and an energy about him where that whole team is like, oh, hell yeah, this kid's the real deal.

Like he just, he has that.

He always has.

He had it on Miss.

By the way, he had it at USC.

You probably don't remember he was at USC.

That's what all he wanted to say, but Lincoln brought him worked out with him.

Lincoln brought Caleb Williams in.

And Link, and they basically

chased Jackson to the dark.

No, they just said, like, Caleb's coming.

And so he kind of forced him into the dark.

So he was picking between,

I think it was Ole Miss or like in Oklahoma or something like that.

And I remember we had a conversation because Lane is the best.

Lane's one of the best getting NFL guys ready, college system.

You're going to play in the SEC.

You dominate there.

You're going to be in the NFL.

You're there.

You're staying out.

He, I mean, we didn't have a saying.

That's what he did.

He just went out and balled for three years.

Old Miss.

Kid can run.

He's tough.

He's durable.

He's got a hose.

He fits into everybody.

Like, he's a real deal, dude.

Now you got to go perform.

Wow.

Name of the game.

I also feel like, though,

did you, were you ever like the vet with the really, really young dude?

You know, I know you were the young dude.

I was still pretty relatively young.

I was like 31 when I reached out.

But I was saying like the position that Russ is in and even Jameis to a degree where like both talented.

Russ clearly has.

Kurt was there with me when I got drafted.

Right.

And Eli.

Like, how do you think you, did you ever stop and think like how you would have been with like, like, Russ knows I'm going to be here.

Hey, if we get hot and go on a run, I'll be around.

But if not, this kid's probably coming in around week eight or nine, maybe 10, depending on how we're doing.

At that point, and Russ in particular, because of his last couple years, like he, I mean, Justin Fields started last year.

I know he had, he was dealing with injuries.

He's dealing with the injuries, though.

I think Russ knows at this point in his career, it's like there's probably a short leash with my play, and especially when you draft a first-round draft pick.

But I mean, he's also 37.

Like, I mean, I think he just goes out there, does the job, he'll play all year.

The best thing Jack's gonna do is just sit this year and learn, like, maybe play some, maybe get some meaningful snaps here and there, but like, sit and learn.

Because you have two guys, by the way, if they keep three, but they keep Jameis, they got two dudes who have played a lot of football in the NFL.

Really, like, Jameis would be a great guy to learn from as well.

You know, so is Malik Neighbors the number two receiver in fantasy football if Jameis Winston starts taking snaps?

Because look what he did with Jerry Judy last year.

Jerry Judy had like 400 yards and two catches.

There'll be a lot of interceptions, though, two seconds.

Right, but I feel like neighbors might have a few like 12 catches for two ten.

Neighbors going to have a big year with Roe.

I mean, look what he had last year.

He had over 100 catches last year with subpar.

I'm sorry.

I'm buying the vibes.

I'm buying the aura.

We should get out of here now, huh?

I've been talking Giants for 15 minutes.

I'm not going to crush you with that, but I had to get you a little bit while I had the time.

Well, good to be in person.

person.

Yeah, dude.

And we'll be back next week.

Congrats again.

It's his fault.

He talked me into it.
