🚁 How War Drone 3D Hits $65K/day mainly with Organics, not UA. Warfare drone game from Miniclip!
We dissect Miniclip’s War Drone 3D, a surprise hit blending realistic drone fantasy, hypercasual onboarding, and ruthless gacha with relentless ad monetization. With over 50 percent organic downloads, scaling past 300,000 installs per day at peak, and daily revenues topping $65,000, War Drone 3D proves you can go viral with core gameplay, slick visuals, and a smart (but sometimes broken) upgrade loop.
What’s inside:
Viral Organics: Over half of all downloads are organic, driven by gameplay that looks and feels like real drone footage. Younger demographics are hooked on the “news media” aesthetic and immersive perspective.
Tower Defense, Shooter, Hypercasual: Fast onboarding, no menu bloat, and you’re shooting in seconds. The core loop is classic tower defense, layered with shooter upgrades and skill cards—instantly accessible, but with depth for longer-term play.
Rewarded Ads and Gacha Monetization
Progression and Pain Points
Creative UA and Organic Blend: Ads leverage real drone footage aesthetics, survival hooks, and “breaking news” memes. Vertical and story formats are underused—big opportunity for TikTok and Instagram growth.
Key Takeaway:
War Drone 3D proves you can scale to millions without heavy UA if you nail fantasy, onboarding, and reward loops. Add better gacha balancing, creative iteration, and the sky’s the limit.

It's
more than 50% of organics.
I guess it's because it's more realistic.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, definitely rides on
that wave, for sure.
It's basically a hyper-casual game, to be honest, like in
its sense, I would say.
Why do you say that?
Because
it's 4 a.m.
and we're rolling the dice.
Late drops, knowledge made of gold and ice.
Felix with ads making those coins rise.
Jackup designs, worlds chasing the sky.
We're the two and a half gamers, the midnight crew.
Talking UA adverts and game design too.
Matej, Felix, Shaku, bringing the insight.
We're rocking those vibes till the early daylight.
But JUA, master, eyes on the prize.
Tracking data through the cyberspace skies.
Felix stacks colors like a wizard in disguise.
Jackups crafter realms, lift us to the highs.
Two and a half gamers talking smack.
Slow hockey sick, got your back.
Ads are beautiful, they like the way.
Click it fast, don't delay.
Uh-huh.
Uh-huh.
Uh-huh.
Uh-huh.
Uh-huh.
Uh-huh.
Uh-huh.
We can hear you, Felix.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah, okay, perfect.
Oh my god, no way.
No way, everybody.
Finally, recording technical issues, nobody cares.
My name is Matte Lantaric.
I'm Felix Brauberg.
Then I'm here to premiere.
And
we are your
host.
Wow, what a good start.
Yes, I know.
Because thanks for tuning in to stay two and a half steps ahead of the gaming industry.
Yay!
Today we are talking about War Drone 3D
from MiniClip.
In a sauna?
What?
Who sauna?
You look like In a sauna based on your age.
He looks like he's from Miami in the 80s.
I'm fucking, I'm fucking wise again.
What are we talking about?
I mean, it's, I mean, I am kind of in the sauna under the roof, but it was raining so it's fine.
I cannot
when you see Mache don't forget to compliment him on his many races where he's really good and quick and I guess this is what you wear when you run.
Not at all actually.
Not at all.
Okay, okay, stop.
Anyway, nobody cares about this.
Yep.
So today we're talking about Vardrone 3D shooting game.
Shooting game.
Shooting game.
And this actually blew up pretty big recently so i guess that that's the reason why we're talking and it's actually a pretty damn good game it's i think this is a master class in how to balance a game perfectly it feels like it's like we are warriors with the complexity and it's really hard to pass levels because you need to upgrade your guns right and to do that you need the cash so the result of that is I made like 12 euros worth of IAPs in the first two days and I watched probably like 28 rewarded ads in the first day and it's just so well balanced.
Yeah,
you need to be more efficient.
It's very imbalanced regarding the cards honestly, but I'll get really.
I mean the gameplay, I like this game a lot.
This is my favorite game that we reviewed in the last quarter.
How far did you go by the way?
What's
that scenario?
Eight.
Okay.
Yeah.
So that's a five and I can I can tell you why it's imbalanced because
interesting.
And I think this game is a lot of fun.
I'm going to keep playing this game.
Because probably your cards were rolled rolled pretty well.
That's why.
I got two super weapons
quite early on.
So yeah,
two times.
Which does nothing.
Okay.
You should just re-roll.
You should just re-roll.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Reroll like Umamusume.
Exactly.
I kind of was
sure that I've seen this game before.
Yes.
It isn't true because pretty new, actually.
I know.
We'll get to the numbers and origins later, I guess.
Oh, really?
Okay.
Yeah, it's a gameplay first.
Yeah, I'm really curious.
And we get to the history lesson today.
Yeah, I was really curious about your origin story.
Mystery origin.
I always get so pissed.
No, no, it's fine.
I just want to say one sentence, but fuck you.
Let's just see.
See?
Let's just see.
Yeah, it's fine.
Anyway, play the game.
The menu.
Mr.
Origin story.
We have just the mission menu where this is basically the saga, which is very big.
Again, very very simplified.
Then we have pretty much two inv card inventories.
One is buffs for four different categories, which are basically the base one and then each specific out of the three weapons.
Then we have weapon upgrade stats basically and then support cards which are
yeah, which uh
and that's because of your attitude.
That's the you got airstrike as your super weapon?
That's terrible.
Yeah, strike shit.
Like, mother of all bombs is better, but again
if I would roll to whatever
for instance, I have a mythic card, by the way, which is the worst mythic card out of all cards.
You can't be lucky
in all the games.
You just know.
Yeah, I guess.
So I have a mythic card which says increase the starting held of friendly units plus five HP.
Come on.
I have that too.
That's not great.
That's that's like super bad.
Because the only thing here, if you go to Metix, which has 0.17% chance to roll, is like nuke it from the orbit, Apache, tactical nuke, stun shot, and all these other great things.
And you get friendly stat HP.
That's great.
Thank you very much.
Yeah, I'll get to the cartesan later.
Let's let's talk a little bit about the core first.
Yeah, so you upgrade these three weapons.
These are fixed.
You can change them.
You can just unlock them right down the line.
You start with machine gun, then you get the Hydra rocket, and then you have the Hellfire rocket.
And again, later down the line, these slots are basically even unlocked for them to be upgraded once these things are upgraded.
I mean, the main three upgrades.
So, let's say, you know, to get the second buff slot on Hydra, I first need to upgrade to level 20, and I have it on level
11, for instance.
And then you need to spend 5k to open the slots.
Yeah, and then, yeah, yeah.
So, money is not that big of a problem in this game.
It's more of a hard currency.
Money is not a big of a problem in life.
Money is a big of a problem in the start, right?
That's when you watch the most rewarded videos.
Like, they're super stingy.
Yeah.
So let's play some mission.
Pretty much every mission is this like Black Hawk Dance scenario where there's like a friendly soldier near a crashed helicopter or crash something with some HP or
Chinook or I don't know what and you know just need to defend it so it's kind of tower defense actually
even though it's like hidden kind of between these drone modern war scenarios that it's basically a tower defense so let's play for instance the
seeing this as a viewpoint from a specter gunship coded yeah
yeah so this is by the way the like the very very unique part that this game does that like the the feeling and the immersiveness of this whole fantasy of you being a drone operator is perfect.
It's done very well.
it's done in a way i think that it's also helping the production because content for these things isn't that hard because it's just gray white shades of random asset
it's perfect actually it plays very well i think into their cards
yeah so let's let's play a mission actually plays well in their cards didn't play well for your cards yeah
There we go.
Before I first started the mission, you get the enemy intel, you can check those and it pretty much says which enemies are being thrown at you during the level.
So there are very very interesting things here and I guess yeah we'll we'll get into it.
There's three different levels of zoom that you can get and then uh
you have these uh where they are.
Yeah, soldiers are being thrown at you so you immediately need to gun them down because once they get to your guy here that you need to defend that he will pretty much
get his health HP taken on very easy.
Then there are vehicles, uh, vehicles here,
exactly,
army vehicles, the mother of all bombs there, yeah.
Do it, do it.
That's there now from the other side, there's a fuel trucks.
You need to get them quickly, yeah, here, quickly.
Fuel trucks, we need to get rid of those because otherwise, they that's pretty big.
I guess they're sack balls, man.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Finally,
finally, Damon
i don't know i've just heard about this thing that you need to aim basically
before the unit as they're running this is the like you know there's a lag basically between oh you strike
oh you're dead you're dead you're dead wonder bread
oh you're out
yeah so there's a lag
between you firing your gun and then it actually landing on the ground, which is great because this is exactly the feeling that you would get from drone operator.
This is the part that I wanted to say.
What?
Like when you're
shooting from a sni a s sniper, it's just
also and it depends on the on the distance as well.
So, I mean
wind and like these other variables are not taken into account here.
It's basically just lag.
So like
lag, so easier and and then there's like two seconds basically pause which means that you need to aim before
the enemies.
The other interesting thing as you as you saw there, let's do another one, is that you have these
active skills that are pretty much taken from the cards.
You have also,
let me also show you the hellfires and
the high laser gutter bombs.
Those are super interesting, by the way, because they exactly work like they should regarding their stuff.
So, for instance, here you just project the laser and then the then the missile like nicely follows it.
This is like my dream when I was a kid and had a laser pointer.
Yeah, exactly.
There we go.
Much better aiming.
Shoot.
Oh, you're doing a good job this time.
Get the next fuel truck.
They're there.
He's doing such a good job this time.
Yeah, so there are these scorpion tanks and like better enemies being thrown at you basically.
Yeah, but you're getting fucked up.
Same truck as last time.
Now we made it.
This guy.
It's a little bit harder with the mouse actually, but it's still really
seasonal.
Shoot some missiles.
The thing is that in the beginning, basically the level ends when you run out of ammo, which you run out even before the main objective, like here basically.
And then you get r you know, like it's a roguelike pretty much that you need to start from start and then the upgrades in between increases your weapons.
So that's there, but like yeah, we can really do because we run out of ammo.
The ads are definitely worth it, even though it's just fifty percent, not hundred percent, but yeah.
Especially in the beginning, the conversion is super strong.
Like you're literally crawling on the floor if you don't watch the ads.
And I mean, like, really crawling on the floor.
Have you also unlocked the secret weapon?
This is an ambush ad, is it?
I didn't even get that.
I was like, why didn't I see a secret weapon?
Yeah.
I was like, of course.
Your secret weapon for scaling your UA without giving away a piece of your company.
The best credit line for marketing.
No equity dilution.
And
you can repay as you get paid.
Turn sheet in 24 hours and funding in 30 days.
If you're serious about growing your game, this is a no-brainer.
Check out PVX Partners and get that secret weapon for your game, pvxpartners.com.
Yep.
And I couldn't
resist
a good one.
Anyway, so yeah, you get these pretty often when the game...
When you watch these episodes, you get these pretty often.
Yeah, but
they don't scale with the core
core.
That's the weirdest thing.
That's the problem because the
mission rewards scale with the core.
For instance, in level 5,
there's like pretty average 2K plus
on the ad side.
In level 1, it was something like, I don't know, 500 or something like that.
So that scales pretty well.
The upgrade costs scale immediately.
Again, that's there.
Also, the slot upgrade costs like they scale like hell.
So that's also there.
But the ads,
like as I said, it's not really worth it to, for instance, for me to watch this for 400 currency ad instead of just me rather going for the doubler, which adds 50% of, I don't know, 2k.
Yeah, it's much better, like
currency per ad ratio.
So, I don't know.
Go to the store for the rewarded ad there because it stays at 50 gold and a thousand
throughout the whole thing, right?
Yeah, in the start, you go in the store, and this is like the biggest savior.
Yes, finally, I can watch a rewarded ad.
And then it's just I've been playing it for four days now, or three days, and it's just
bad economy design.
So I'm sorry.
The other thing is that
main power in this game is actually the gacha, which is basically just I don't even know why they have like one time hundred gold, five times five hundred gold.
Yeah, like where's the
upside?
The upside is usually like at least like I don't know, do a ten poor plus, I don't know, super rare or rare guarantee or something, but yeah, this doesn't make any sense.
The problem with the gacha, as I was saying regarding the balancing, is that these cards have very, very specific use cases.
So there are stuff like water bonus, additional damage to waterborne vehicles.
Vehicles.
We'll get to vehicles eventually.
Yeah.
So
the thing is that, for instance, in current scenarios, like these five scenarios, there was no water.
If this thing dropped for me, it's a dead weight for me, like nothing.
And the game is pretty much using a Clash Royale style gacha, whereas if a card drops,
I can unlock it and use it in the slots.
And then if a car drops again, it upgrades itself immediately, even without any currency, by the way, and then just increases a parameter that it's scaling.
The problem with this system, this is basically a simplified version of Clash File system, is that you need to put these into a scaling pool of items.
So what should happen here instead of the current situation, that instead of me being able to pull out every single card immediately, this should be pulled into like level ranges or something like that.
Where, if I unlock a new scenario, like three more cards get added to the pool, and then I can pull out of them because this would finally
streamline or let's say smoothen out the experience for every single user.
So, we wouldn't have the situation with me pulling two medics and Felix pulling two super weapons, and like, oh, the Graham's greatly balanced, and everything, and like, I'm destroying everything.
Yeah, sure, I'm destroying it.
I thought I was just skillful, but maybe because I had you know, airburst and like J Damn, then yeah, you know, like, what can I do?
Like,
honestly.
You know what?
Can you do?
You just stop whining.
Finally.
Or this guy, like, plus five ammo.
Like, really?
This does nothing.
Or this is the worst.
Time to die.
Chance an injured enemy troop will take additional damage over time.
Five percent chance for four damage.
I get these guys in one shot.
Really?
Like, how this can help me?
So I saw your aim.
You do not get these guys in one shot, Jakub.
Yeah, exactly.
That is wishful.
Man, like, it's like complete shit.
So I can, I guess, like at some point, maybe later in the game, like I've seen some cards.
There's also,
yeah, I hope so.
Now, I mean, like, the use cases will differ because there's like, for instance, the MITI card that I have, the one where it says the
where is it?
This one, friendly starts with 15 more health.
Like, maybe it's great, and it will be great when my soldiers will be actually attacking the enemy, which I guess will happen later down the line because the cards imply it.
Because there's like friendly fire cards or whatever cards.
So, I guess there will be scenarios where they'll just go to YouTube and pull the
footage
from the late game.
Yeah, but you know, imagine I'm just Felix and I pull stuff like I don't know, termite bomb, slow-moving
game spat, hypersonic missile, or these are even better, like this one.
Where was it?
I have JDAM, I have JDAM, and I have cluster bombs.
Seekers the battlefield and engaging the enemy with missiles, like and I have like plus five HP for nothing.
This is the problem.
I have cluster bomb and jagam, jagam, or whatever it is, how you re-say it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
A cluster bomb.
Yeah.
Great.
I have yeah.
The fucking airstrike with this nothing.
Yeah.
They think they let me pull that because I made an IAP and then I pulled five straight from the supply drop and they gave me that to keep me happy.
It's just luck.
I think it's just luck, man.
I don't think so.
If they have these glaring mistakes here, I don't think so.
They're that sophisticated that they would have gotcha rates tied to payers or something like that.
No way.
Anyway.
You know what I did find, though?
They're clever enough to use a web store.
I know.
I know.
I know.
Because you you were doing some some purchases.
And I was like, maybe you should just go to their web shop and just get additional
revenue because that's what people do.
That's what people do.
But you know, our sponsor, FastSpring, has delivered D2C at scale for over 20 years and they power top mobile publishers around the world.
So, as the known D2C drama partner with real-world experience at scale, FastSpring is a partner you can trust with your players.
And you should definitely go to fastspring.gg and quickly launch your own web store or replace an existing D2C vendor at fastspring.gg.
So go there and launch a webster
right away.
The good thing about this game is that the mission system seems to be very interesting in a way that it encourages a lot of replayability because you have these levels where there are these goals and the key care is that these goals are only three active at three at once.
So once you do all these it pretty much gives you new ones even though if all of them were active together you would be doing all of them at once, which is not good.
This part is done very clever, actually, where they just give you these three goals.
Once you get them, you get 25 gold.
Yeah, but
there's the refresh button for ads.
Yeah, there's no refresh button for currency.
You can't really refresh these, man.
Maybe you could complete one for an ad, or I don't know, something
or just or just switch the order, whatever.
Oh, yeah, maybe get the new one from the pool.
That would be good.
Exactly.
Yeah, yeah, that's
yeah.
So
this is pretty good.
This is the main source of gold, which is the hard currency here, which is covering the gacha system here.
You're so grumpy during this episode because you just hadn't started the game.
I would be playing this game for a longer time if I have, I guess, Felix's lucky.
Buy something, yeah, spend 20 euros.
Yeah, for sure.
I spent 12.
I spent 12.
So that's there.
Then there's the energy, which, if I understand correctly, is pretty much infinite if you watch ads because you can watch ads forever for it.
But the thing is, since you're watching so many ads during the run, like I get to the end of 10 runs and I watch 10 rewarded ads that's increased the cash and then I'm trying to look at the energy.
I'm like,
I'm not watching two more ads.
Like no way.
And then you go out of the game and come back a couple of hours later.
Or you watch ads on the second monitor while you play the other game.
So, yeah, you also can do.
Anyway, other than that, the game's super simple.
Like, there's nothing really to it.
There's just a piggyback mechanic, start the pack with this pilot guy that also tries to nag me into one to four stars going into feedback and five star going into store filter.
And then, yeah, there's the
ad.
I'm really curious to see which one we'll get.
By the way, I got very interesting ads today.
Yeah, I did either the wood one for the drone game.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, there you go.
Not for fun.
Hello.
I've seen a lot of shooter games.
I've seen a lot of
chicken run skill money gaming game or whatever.
Maybe you know what would be great if you actually write it down.
Yeah, yeah.
I guess we'll get to it.
So that one, which had like horrible Slovak dubbing on top of it, and
it was really horrible.
And then I think a few more
C-ray,
metaphorex.
Nah, it's up for fun.
This is actually going after the Voodoo game.
Voodoo has a very good submarine game that's doing pretty well recently.
You should also look at that one.
I always wanted to do a submarine game.
So that's there.
I mean, and we have the cache.
Is it your favorite vehicle?
Yeah, favorite vehicle.
I think it's a very underserved market.
Because it's, again, very niche kind of experience.
Should we look at the later gameplay before we look at the stats?
And also, like, why would you reply, like, it's tap for fun?
It's not going to be Forex.
I stopped for fun.
Why would I thought it's
a top nation?
Yeah, yeah.
What are we talking about?
Okay, sorry, my bad.
I guess to sleep.
Yeah, so what are we looking?
We're looking at the stats.
Stats, my later gameplay as well.
Sure, later gameplay.
Also, Google it.
Okay, so stats.
This is a heavy ad game.
You can see that it scaled all the way to more than 300k downloads a day in July 12th, which is two weeks ago.
And from that point on, even though it declined, it's still doing amazingly well, which is 150k downloads a day.
Let's do the bullshit filter as usual.
Yeah, man, we need to talk about top C War later.
Yeah.
So
we'll see.
So Russia's on
sorry, India's on top with Russia behind it.
And US still, I would say, pretty well there on the third place with like seven hundred K plus U S downloads that's there.
Revenue wise, uh this is again
pretty much doing nothing.
Also Miami wise as well.
Yeah, oh sorry, no, not nothing.
Thirty five K a day isn't nothing.
Yeah, it's good, it's fine.
So it's fine, it's fine.
But as as I said, like I'm guessing like this is mainly ad driven.
And
active user-wise, I guess that's the one the Felix wants.
Yeah.
We have.
There's a lot of active users.
If you go to the last 30 days, it's more indicative.
Yeah, this has been
like 800K on the two weeks.
Yeah, it's currently half a million.
That's pretty good.
Yeah, pretty good.
Just put the music down here.
Yeah, please do.
We can't hear you anyway.
So I'll go through through the ad stuff if you can find some later gameplay, but exactly what Jakob said, right?
In the store, there's a cash 1k a day to every 24 hours that you can watch.
It doesn't scale with the economy, which is a big, not great, because there's no point to watch it later on.
Then there's the store for gold, 50 a day, which is also not scaling.
Then UX cash at the end of runs, which is the best ad placement ever.
And if you don't watch that, you're going to have the slowest gameplay progression ever.
It's like playing We Are Warriors without watching ads, it's not going to be fun.
Yeah, very frustrating.
It's like playing it on a flight.
Like, no, this is a horrible game, right?
But yeah, with ads, everything gets sorted.
You have
2x energy for more runs, which gets really frustrating to watch.
And then you have the random pop-ups for very little cash.
That's never worth it to watch, which doesn't scale at all, which is just really weird why they do that.
So,
2.8 sessions a day, 13 minutes a day on average.
And if you're doing 10 runs plus watching the early ones, I'd probably say like anywhere between 10 and 12
rewarded impedow per person.
And adjusting for ECPMs of the last 30 days, I would say that this game makes another 35 to 40K a day in ads.
So 50 to 55%
more on top of that in ads.
So bringing the grand total to 65K a day or a yearly run rate of just shy under twelve million dollars if it stays at this level.
And by the way, the game is owned by MiniClip, even though it's not really
immediately shown on the developer account.
It is MiniClip.
Yeah.
Yeah, it looks great.
Like you see here, like this is level 10, basically that I found on YouTube.
You see how many abilities there are, active ones on the bottom.
The guy is pretty much loaded with like
40 plus missiles and then like a few more hellfires and I don't know 400
what was it?
Machine guns.
You see like you literally started taking out like air objects uh and like all these other interesting things.
So
it it really scales very well regarding content.
I think that's also one of its main kinda
yeah
main positives that the immersiveness and like the whole thing is just like great.
And and it's just a simple tower defense basically you see here.
This is even more obvious because they're just coming from one
part of the screen and there's two bridges which are basically choke points.
So it's there.
Yeah, like the gameplay is amazing to be honest.
Like for this kind of a game and like how light it is and how accessible and everything, I think it's done very well.
One other thing I wanted to show is that there's this other game called
Drone Strike Military War 3D, which was done or published maybe by voodoo.
And I guessing this game is following also that game that game is
that's not the lore i was thinking about or mate was thinking about
yeah i'm just like yeah so this one's fast 12 million downloads started in june 2022 our favorite currently started in uh
what do you mean our favorite
my favorite the yeah see
it's my favorite started actually in this year's april April, was it?
April 2nd.
Yeah, so three years after.
Yeah, yeah, no, I think.
But there are other games, like you mentioned, like the zombie gunship one.
Survival.
And there is like so many different zombie gunship ones as clones.
It's by Flare Games.
Yeah, live for some time.
Still makes.
Yeah, it was launched November, October 27.
The issue with this game was it was too easy.
There's no difficulty at all.
If you look at it, it was actually stable 300k revenues for what, like, five years to a month.
So it's not bad.
Well, it's very stable.
I've played this game for quite a while.
Yeah, exactly.
That's the thing.
I remember it also.
Yeah, it was like, okay, this is definitely it.
And look.
Yeah,
basically, like 200k.
I guess the ads on top of that.
Yeah, Yeah, I mean, Felix just said before you joined, it's like, okay, it's 50% ads on top of this.
300k.
But this is the money printer, basically.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's very rare that you get games that last that long and are that stable.
Just like
proves the point that this market just needs more of these new versions of Bluetooth games, because again, I can imagine this can be improved a lot still, as I said in the beginning regarding the balancing of the early experience.
Three things that you would do right now to improve it from a game design perspective.
Okay, so the gadget thing is the first one.
Come on.
We need to have cards that make sense.
You cannot roll a card immediately that doesn't do shit for you.
This very bad experience.
Or it's not usable in current scenarios.
The second one would be...
maybe a little bit more rewards progression systems because they have
these inventories I would maybe put into one or but whatnot like the progression here is good but the reward system is a little bit let's say hidden because at some point it gets very very annoying for me to always check these goals at some point because once you run out of the easy ones then they start doing these like the whole mission is basically about just like you completing a goal where for instance I don't know destroy a striker AFP using a hydra so you need to first get the striker shoot it with the machine gun so it has low HP and then finish it with the Hydra because Hydra cannot just kill it itself or stuff like that.
So it's a little bit more of like these are other games are achievements.
Like this is not the optimal way to give players objectives.
So they need to go there and pretty much put them down on paper for them to follow them.
So maybe some more streamlined kind of reward progression system.
So I don't know
normal kill count ratios or I don't know something.
so it's again even more linear or streamlined and then uh
yeah I think that's it like all these abilities and all these other things they are amazing another game mode of course that's the other thing because once you get stuck here you cannot get those currency from the other ones like if I finish these previous levels you just get continued there's no doubling so you are stuck with replaying the last one forever and it's again a little bit frustrating when you don't have the ammunition required to finish the level and you just always end up with like i know 70 and then you lose always.
So maybe get some kind of bonus mission level or like the usual progression.
Stack on main saga, you have different modes to help you upgrade on the main saga later.
So that's there.
Very sorry, Yakov.
Very sorry.
No,
just gonna ruin this podcast.
Stop it.
I would just probably say from the ads, right?
Like there's a lot of big geos that will never make an IAP.
I would just probably change the end of level to a convert or die.
So if you don't watch the rewarded ad, you see an interstitial.
For those geos that don't convert on IAP,
most likely India.
And then also scale the rewarded ad or the rewarded ad slots with the gameplay in the store, right?
And then also with a pop-up.
It makes no sense to have it because it becomes useless after the first level.
You wait.
Yeah,
give me the screen.
Give me the screen.
You know, Mati looks a bit like the Swedish flag when he's in that shirt?
Like, he's got the blue background and he's got
IKEA Matte.
Ikea Mate, yes.
Would you wear IKEA socks if I found some for you?
Or is it only legal?
I have a I have a IKEA hat as well, by the way.
There you go.
Yeah, yeah, it's pretty good.
Too warm though, but uh definitely helps in when it rains.
Okay, so what do we have here?
It's actually was interesting from the amount of channels perspective.
It's uploading Facebook, Mintegral, Unity and it's on Google.
Really kind of surprised.
I don't see maybe it's not shown here, but I don't see um TikTok as well.
I would really see this on TikTok
as doing quite well.
But it's just man, like it's uploading basically the main channel.
I mean, I'm not surprised.
And where do you you think they mediate?
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, yeah,
I wonder.
Oh, rotate your phone to start playing.
Interesting.
Protect yourself, you know?
Yeah,
man.
It's almost like we saw with Yaku.
Is that you playing Yaku?
Yeah, it's like again, like we are back to his side gig.
recording and playing at one time
ads for gaming studios.
Oh my god, he must be making a fortune
anyway.
It's really good, by the way, like this whole like drone operator thing lag of like these records and everything.
It's done so well.
Yeah.
And also, I mean, this might just
be scalable because of all the kind of shenanigans that had that are happening around us in the world, right?
With all the wars?
Yeah, yeah.
I guess all the world stuff, traffic, and chatter is like.
I've seen, by the way, channels that are just like, you know, going war commentary, getting from nothing to millions of subscribers.
Yeah, pretty much.
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
People are interested in this stuff.
I can't rotate many form to start playing, unfortunately.
Well, I can actually play this.
Maybe.
Is that a big issue with horizontal games?
Sometimes it's hard to do creative, or not really.
I mean that was just a a terrible uh playable here.
We saw we saw different playables landscape
kind of no problem.
It's just it's
playable okay yeah it's just this playable
very interesting that the demography of this game is skewed very young actually.
Yeah, I really would assume I was expecting it a little bit older, but you know because this is the like the new stuff modern stuff stuff, like it's actually pretty young.
Hello, man.
I mean,
hello, madame.
Yeah, hello, madame.
Yeah, we don't have the madame drone pilot.
We have a raptor guy.
Yeah, the game is the guy, and there is the girl and the creative.
Yeah, yeah.
Doesn't matter.
Classic.
It matters, man.
It matters a lot.
Yeah, I mean, trust me.
I know it matters a lot in terms of the UA, of course.
It's just
that's the only thing that matters here.
Yeah, for young men, yeah, definitely.
Oh my god, this is so annoying.
No.
Oh, it was Unity, but it's made by Play Play, Able Factory, and their new whatever Flex is.
It just doesn't really work.
And is that their new flex?
It doesn't really work.
Yeah, that's very good Flex, right?
Have you you seen many consoles because it seems to be
exactly the same, like it's 55-second video all over the place, it's maybe slightly different scenes, but and this is we saw this before, we saw this before, we saw this again, it's like maybe,
yeah, right.
The voodoo game is pretty much the exact same, yeah.
I mean,
we have like some new creatives, but again, like people are used to this footage from like uh news media and stuff, sure, but you know what what i'm missing here like the mass battles no no no no like not the
not that i believe not anything else it's just if there was like a million people running towards you right like that would yeah yes so you burn them all down you have all super weapons and everything and you just
it would make it not believable
think about it exactly yeah i know it doesn't make any sense so it's like oh what the fuck is this oh i need to download and play no no no no no i think it's writing on the premise that it's believable.
Oh, so you mean, like, this is just the real footage?
So, yeah, it looks like real footage from like a war conflict of like Iran or Ukraine or somewhere.
I don't know, pretty much.
You can run, everybody runs.
Especially in this game.
Because
it's not breaking the fantasy.
That's the thing, like, this experience of you being a drone operator.
They don't really do stuff that's like completely out of.
Yeah.
You know what?
I think it would work if they had it on a bigger screen, like maybe CTV.
I think so as well.
Because
there we go, TC.
This episode is brought to you by vibe.com, the most intuitive streaming TV platform, which is designed to maximize ROS for apps and games all sizes.
So, even for this, and I can see this creative on a big screen easily.
Just don't forget it's that simple, totally self-served, and yes, actually drives business results.
And over 5,000 brands are already using it, so maybe it's your turn as well.
I just check out vibe.co, which is vibe.co.
I still think they should have mass battles.
Even Call of Duty had a few of these levels incorporated into their campaigns.
Yeah,
definitely.
The last Call of Duty, you're a drone operator, and you're trying to take out the Mexican cartel.
Well,
at least they have this level one, level 25, level 50 kind of progression in place, which is nice.
It's on Facebook, and it just launched recently.
At least they are trying something new.
At least, like, okay.
AI.
Here we go.
It's a bit too long to be.
Yeah, I know.
What was it?
How long was it?
Yes.
It was the codeplay.
The goldplay meme.
Ah, the concert.
This is the concert.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, look.
The most expensive concert for a CEO ever.
Oh my god, yeah, yeah.
The end of the month, absolutely.
It's just this.
Yeah.
It is very nice.
And also, that's not all images are gameplay, including
whatever.
Okay, nice.
That's a good hook.
Yeah, that's very good.
It's just not hooked.
That's my biggest problem.
It's okay.
It's out of the hook.
Yeah, yeah, I guess it works.
Now you can connect to the the actual headline here.
Mission, don't get caught.
Status failed.
Okay.
Nice.
Okay, mini clip.
I take everything back.
I said this is gonna be awesome.
This is very cool.
Okay, well everything else is basically the same.
But this was really nice.
It's just I don't think it's scaling that much yet.
We have also the talking head.
PK Downs today is pretty good.
Yeah, but still.
Yeah, it's
today, it's 18 kind of pages of creatives.
So I would actually say this has a lot of
improvement.
That's true as well, but also kind of a lot of organics.
Ah, kind of.
Oh, okay.
Maybe.
No, they just started scaling, so I guess.
Yeah, it's gonna.
I think the footage.
Sorry, is that the right game?
No, it's not.
It's actually, yeah, you're right.
That's tasty travels.
I had some tasty travels.
Okay, you see?
Okay, so the organic works.
It's fifty more than fifty percent of organic.
So
it's more realistic.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah,
I guess because it's of the drone footage.
Yeah, definitely rise on that on that wave, for sure.
It's basically a hyper casual game, to be be honest like in in in in its sense i would say
why why do you say that
because
the menu like hyper casual used to do these things that the menu there wasn't the menu there was like literally just like ui plastered around the core you press the button you're already playing and like stuff doesn't switch and the creative is the core and all these things are pretty much again the same here
so a little bit more progression here and there but it's kind of very very similar they just throw more elements at you basically ah man, I just forgot something.
I just forgot something.
So it's okay, so it's 60k.
What was it, 60k day or 50k day?
35k a day a day, and then 60 on ads.
And then let's should we handicap web shop?
Because they do have a web shop, maybe 20% of that or 10%.
Too much.
Why?
Why is it too much?
Why?
Why is that too much?
For this kind of a game, I don't know.
Old guy, go to sleep.
Please retention on this.
Yeah, let's look at the retention as well.
Let's show.
No, no, no, no, wait, wait.
Maybe it's
not control.
It's too early.
Or too early.
Too early.
Too early because we have only April to June and it's that's too early.
Oh, here we have we have something.
50 day one, but day out, day 60.
It's yeah, I mean, it's not there.
I think what Jakub said hits the hammer right on the nail with having alternate gameplay to ease with progression.
Like that's really
like if the retention is like this, right?
Day one retention is amazing, but day seven was one like one
day
twelve, but then they we don't have day thirty yet, we're already starts to crawl basically because you're
choking.
Cannot really upgrade stuff that you need.
But still interesting stuff, right?
Yeah, yeah, it's like great, great, great, great What would you say Mati in the top three things that you would change from the UA or improve
What I said also like from the creative point of view even though you said it's too believable and that's the the right way to do it That's how the organic works but then you can do all these mass battles
Absolutely in paid like I would say that's that's an easy one and
And also when you said it's younger audience, so I would I would add way more vertical formats and aim for real stories, Instagram in the between and also Facebook stories, and then absolutely TikTok.
I mean, like
why are we talking like why is it not there?
That's just super easy thing.
Maybe they should also write the wave of news a little bit more.
Yeah, I was really breaking
stuff, like breaking news and then yeah, whatever.
But honestly, even though like if they are able to like dish out these codeplay concert things, like, you know, just recently US bombed Iran and like it was pretty big.
Isn't that like too much, man?
Like, it's like it's
mini clips too big to do that, I think.
They're not a Chinese studio though, good way.
Yeah, they are.
Yeah, yeah, it's like
okay, that's very sensitive.
That's very sensitive.
The code is kind of fun, but like bombing Iran, that's not fun.
Yeah,
so okay, there we go.
We have it,
guys.
If you enjoyed or haven't just comment under the video join our Slack channel and I guess

Yeah, by this time, we're already back, I guess.
Yes, I think so as well.
Okay.
Well, if you were in China, you could have called them at China and Joy, but it's too late because we're in the future.
Yeah, we're in the future.
In the future.
From the past.
All right.
See you next time.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
Bye-bye.
