The biggest news of the day, Ocho.
The Browns have released their death card.
Joe Flacco.
I told you.
I told you.
QB1.
Kenny Pickett.
Two.
Dylan Gabriel.
Three.
Shadur Sanders.
Five.
Excuse me.
Four.
But they did bring in because two of the four quarterbacks are injured.
Hamstring, Kenny Pickett, and Dylan Gabriel.
And a few hours ago, this is what Adam Shepher tweeted.
The Browns are signing.
Tyler Snoop Huntley, who spent part of last season with Cleveland.
With Kenny Pickett, Dylan Gabriel nursing hamstring hamstring injuries, and Shadur Sanders having a sore shoulder.
The Browns need another arm.
Enter Huntley.
Yes, sir.
Talk to me.
What are the Browns?
I don't know what they're doing.
We don't know what they've done the last 35 quarters.
Do they know?
Are we sure they know what they're doing?
Have they known what they've done since that franchise has been established?
Have they figured it out yet?
Because the last good quarterback, no disrespect to the quarterbacks that have played for the Cleveland Browns, the last one that has been of decency has been Bernie Colzar, if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah, that's in mid-80s.
There you go.
There you go.
That's no disrespect to any of the quarterbacks that have played there, but it is what it is.
We talk about consistency.
Have we had one for a decade that we've been able to lean on and build around?
You had a couple of years, you got a couple of years of Baker, but outside of that, no.
No disrespect.
Come on, man.
Come on, man.
So, how do we, how do we
How are we supposed to trust this organization when it comes to choosing quarterbacks at the position when they haven't figured it out all these years?
All of a sudden, now they got all the motherfuckers.
Excuse me.
Now they got all the sense.
They're supposed to have all the sense now.
The depth chart to me,
I'm going to let you go.
The depth chart to me doesn't mean anything.
We know what Jack Joe Flackham would do when the lights come on.
Kenny Pickett had this opportunity when he was drafted to the Steelers.
So we've seen the sample size of that already.
I mean, no disrespect to him.
He's not the answer.
Dylan Gabriel has success at Oregon when the lights come on, but it's a different ball game in the NFL with them grown men that got mouth to feed.
Everyone should get an ample chance to win their starting position.
We already know who quarterback money is going to be.
We know who that's going to be.
The depth chart doesn't mean anything.
What they're trying to do is they're trying to break young bull.
They're trying to break him, huh?
That's all it is.
From the draft process to getting drafted in the fifth round to the owner coming out and saying what you said last week to now.
Man, come on with that bull job, man.
i don't see how kenny pickett still remains number two he hadn't practiced since the 26th of july if i'm not mistaken so he's been dealing with a hamstring injury but
when you go out and sign somebody in free agency i i mean i guess that does tell you they do think highly of him because they signed him um Dylan Gabriel, he's dealing with a hamstring.
I guess the worst thing that happened is that we could have found out because
had both of those guys been injured, we head into the first preseason game and only Flacco and Shador is healthy.
Now, it remains to see, to be seen how much Joe Flacco is going to play.
If he plays, I'm thinking maybe a series, Ocho.
That's top.
Let's be generous and say a series.
Now that was going to be Shador's opportunity to basically take us home.
We saw Trey Lance.
Trey Lance started the game and played, what, deep into the fourth quarter?
Hell, he might have finished the game.
With that being said,
the worst thing that could possibly happen for the Browns is that the two quarterbacks that you're probably counting on, they both got hurt.
Oh, definitely.
And they got hurt early.
Now,
we'll see how soon.
It remains to be seen.
I think I said last night they played Thursday.
They played Thursday or Friday.
Is it Friday?
Okay,
they played Friday.
Three more days.
Three more days.
I'm excited.
Is Shadur gonna play?
Yes, he doesn't have a choice.
This is part of his regime.
But if it showed, but but what if he had?
I mean,
wait, I mean, clearly, they don't feel that confident because if they thought Shadur was going to be able to go, would they have brought a fifth quarterback in?
Yeah,
they had to bring somebody else in because Kenny Pickett's probably not going to play, especially with a Hampstead injury.
The game is fighting.
I don't think he's the one.
I don't think two and three is going to play.
So, definitely, definitely he's going going to play it.
Listen,
the eye in the sky doesn't lie, and they need Shador to put what he can on tape.
They need to, what are we going to get?
What did we draft?
All the work we put in, obviously, going against offense and defense in practice.
That don't mean nothing.
Well, you don't expect to get Ocho, how long you expect the $500 call to last?
Think about where they drafted him now.
Now, clearly, they ain't put a whole lot of resources behind it.
No,
so they're not.
Let's, let's let, you know, what, ocho you we you know what we do we don't night cat we talk to me now
chat you know when you go by what we used to call when i was growing up we call it secondhand
when you go by something secondhand and you spend 500 or you spend a thousand dollars and as is no warranty
you're not expecting okay hopefully get me from point a to point b they drafted shadur in the fifth round they're not expecting much of shadur they didn't because if they thought that much of him, they'd have drafted him higher.
If they thought that much of him, they would have given him a fair opportunity.
But that's not what they've done.
And I'm not, look, that's their organization.
They run it how they see fit.
But I don't know, people in Cleveland, I don't know how you would still have trust in this organization, considering how many quarterbacks and every quarterback they say, oh, he's franchised.
He's franchised.
You said that with Derrick Anderson and you said that before him, and you said that after him.
Baker got injured, and you moved on from him.
Now, Baker didn't have the weapons that he has in Tampa.
I don't think Baker's like, oh my God, hang on.
I wish I could have stayed in Cleveland.
The weather's a lot licer in Tampa, and there's no state income tax, and he had a great support system around him.
With all that being said,
I don't think
I don't think it's much to like, boy,
maybe they bet against him.
Listen,
it happens all the time.
I don't want to, if I, if Shadur, how does that make me look if Shadur looks well, oh Joe?
Wait, he's going to look.
Oh, excuse me.
The adversity and the obstacles that young bullets had to
endure in general.
He's been prepped for this.
He's been prepped for this.
Oh, they're against me since he got drafted.
When he dropped in the fifth round, he already knew what time it was.
When your opportunity gets there, when you get your opportunity, you have no choice but to shine.
You have no choice.
They're betting against him not to do well.
Right.
But if you want me to win the race, Ocho, you got to put me on a fairbread like everybody else.
You can't give me a Clysdale and say, go win this race.
Let me ask you this.
When he is in the game, is he going to get the first team offensive line?
Uh-oh.
Because that's what, when they want to, when they want to give you a serious look, Ojo, you and I both played this game for a long period of time.
When they want to give a receiver a serious look, they let him run with the ones.
They don't continually see what he can do with the twos and threes.
They give him a fair opportunity with the ones, the number one quarterback, the number one offensive line, and the other one receivers on the opposite side of him.
Quarterbacks, when they are running backs, when they really want to see what you can do, they let you run with the one, the number one o-line and normally when they pull the offensive line out guess who else coming out the quarterback because the quarterback the starting quarterback is not going to be in there with the twos and threes the starting running back is not going to be in there with the twos and threes so i'm going to be very interesting to see it is the first preseason game and given the way the preseason is done now starters don't normally play
They don't normally play and they don't play much.
So Shadur is going to have to make,
Shadur is going going to have to make wine with the water that he, the whale water that he's been giving.
He's going to be all right.
He's not been given purified water.
He's not been given bottled water.
So he's going to have to make do it what he has.
The good thing, though,
the cards that he's dealt on Friday night when he enters that game, regardless of what's surrounding him, he's going to make something happen.
When he does make something happen, when he's able to make...
Something out of nothing.
And this is no disrespect to the twos and the threes and the fours that are trying to make that team.
Everybody out there buying for a job
for sure.
But you and I both know.
I know, but listen.
They're only about five jobs up for grab.
They know, they know with it.
They know within 40 guys, 41 guys, who's going to be on that rock.
Oh, listen, they don't know.
They don't know yet because what they're planning on and what they're trying to do, whatever it may be,
when he gets his opportunity, all they got to do is not to go down.
I don't care what you put around me.
I'm going to show you.
I'm going to get the job done.
So imagine
if I can get out there and cut up on Friday with threes threes and fours and twos at my helm what you think will happen when i got the ones what you think will happen when i got when i got judy huh and and joku and the rest of them boys at at my disposal as my weaponry if i can do this with my threes and fours and twos out here in a preseason game
all he's done all his life is win huh
that's all he's done So now you put me in this situation, a little obstacle, a little adversity.
All right,
got, I got this.
I've been here before.
I got this.
Yeah, uh, I agree with you, Ocho.
I mean, he's never had a situation like this.
Um, you don't know what you can overcome until you're faced with it.
Got dogging, man, with my pen.
Oh, that's a good one.
Let me write that down because strength is.
Don't go too fast, man.
I got to write that down.
I'm going to put that in my notes.
Hold on.
Because, Ocho, here's the thing.
See, strength is not what you possess.
Strength is overcoming something that you didn't think you could.
See, a lot of people thinking, well, I can lift this or I can do that.
That is not strength.
Strength is overcoming something you didn't think you could.
He's never been in this situation before.
He's been the best.
And now...
He's going to have to that strength that his father has instilled him.
His father is very biblical.
His father is very into the church, is into the word.
All those words that his father has been preaching to him for a lifetime, it will be put to the test.
See, like when the devil told Judge, yeah, of course, God, he's going to serve you.
You give him everything.
Look at the family.
Look at the livestock that you have.
Look at what you blessed him with.
Why would he not serve you?
Remove the hedge, and you'll curse his very maker.
Shadur has had abundance
of everything he had a dad that had the resources to get him that opportunity to go learn and study under Tom Brady to get him throwing coaches and to put him in the best situations
now
you can recall you can call on that
to recall what I what Tom said this and this guy said that and do this do that
but at the end of the day when you fall on your knees
now
because see that's what faith is
it's believing
even though you can't see it
you see
man says show me and i'll trust you God says, trust me, and I'll show you.
You see the difference between the two?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Shador is going to have to rely on his faith
because at this time, that's all he has.
And I'm not so sure that he's not the only one that has it because I'm not so sure the people in that building have faith in him.
You can't listen, the people in the building, you ain't got to worry about that.
You don't have to worry about that.
At the end of the day, if they don't want you, if they don't want you,
let me put on film.
Let me put on film.
This is what you got to do.
At the end of the day, regardless of what they do, regardless of where I am on the depth chart, I have a job to do.
And I'm going to do it to the best of my ability, regardless of what you put out there on the field with me on Friday.
At the end of the day, it's still football.
We've been all been playing football since we were creamerized to the table.
Man, you just took the words right out of my mouth.
I've been in Shadura.
See, I was Shadur Sanders before Shadur Sanders just at a different position.
I know what it's like.
I went to a team that just went to the Super Bowl.
Although they got drubbed, they brought every receiver back.
Mark Jackson, Vance Johnson, Ricky Natille, Michael Young.
They only keep in five receivers, and four of the guys that went to the Super Bowl are back.
They're back.
You're going to be our.
So we got, they bring in four or five other receivers.
Shannon Sharp's a seventh rounder.
I know that, but I'm supposed to be a camp body.
But what you expect out of me and what I expect out of me are two different things.
I don't let you set my agenda.
I don't let you set my expectation.
I see you.
And that's how Shadur has to think.
I know what y'all, I know what y'all playing.
I know, hey, hey in life when uh when ray told claw he's like i know you're thinking something you got something up your sleeve i know you got something brewing i ain't got nothing ray i got an ass cutting for your brewing
shadour just needs to be shadour he doesn't have to be any he doesn't have to be anything else other than that
And that's good enough.
His best is good enough.
He doesn't have to be extraordinary.
This is now the NFL, it is the league.
Remember that movie, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen?
There are a lot of extraordinary gentlemen in this league.
A lot of them.
But that ain't what he has to beat out.
And that's no disrespect to them.
Let's be realistic.
They take it how they want to.
I'm just saying.
Joe Flacco is in year 18, and he's way past his prime.
Kenny Pickett, A, we'll see.
He's hurt.
Can't make the club in the tub.
Dylan Gabriel, he's hurt.
I'm telling you what's going to happen.
Hey, one thing about it.
One thing, one, one thing about the football gods.
You hear me?
One thing about the football gods.
When they know, when they know, especially it's funny business going on, the way they're moving,
cream always rats at the top.
That's it.
I don't care what you put around me.
I'm going to make it work.
I'm going to make it to do the, listen,
when you go to the casino and they deal you them goddamn cards, you can't control what you dealt.
You got to play the hand you dealt.
You got to play the hand you dealt.
You got to play it to the best of your ability.
That's it.
That's all you got to do.
Go out there with just straight, straight confidence.
This is my team.
You got to walk it.
You got to play like it.
You got to walk in that stadium like you own it.
You got to walk.
You got to.
Oh, I see the game y'all playing.
Okay, bet.
Let me show you something.
Yeah.
Let me show you something.
And it's not easy because I don't want people to think that, oh, he, you never, yes, yes, there were, there were, there were nights that I would go to bed, and I'm asking myself, am I good enough?
I mean, I only got three plays and I ain't catching pants.
So if I'm a receiver, how am I getting judged
by everything else to do as a quarterback?
He don't get no reps.
How is he getting judged?
Okay,
I caught one point.
I caught it.
I caught it.
And it's like, man, is it, man, I had this great career at Glenville.
I had a great career at Savannah State.
And now I'm here.
In my mind,
what person doesn't think that he's better than some of the people that he's going against?
It wasn't like
I wasn't going against
Hall of Fame receivers.
It wasn't Jerry.
It wasn't Jerry Rice and my brother and Chris Carter and all those guys out there.
That was how I was going to have to try to win time from.
But look, it gave me confidence that John Elway told me I could play this league.
He thought I had the ability to play.
It helped me a lot when Mark Jackson
would legitimately tell me what I needed to do.
But yeah,
I'm fighting for a job and we're fighting for a job and a guy told me the wrong route.
I didn't know it was the wrong route.
I went in there and ran it.
Dan Reed chewed my ass up.
hey ask me what the hell i'm i'm running the route what hey oh i'm swole i just knew i read the right route
hey nice move a nice slap
arm or rib that try to you know
i i i hit it right quick because you know back then you spend too much time dancing in the line of scrimmage they're gonna come up through your face mask so a plant chop i'm over
He blowing the whistle up like damn I even halfway through my route, oh Joe, what he blowing the whistle for?
Let me get this route.
Let me do something on it.
Shadow Shark, what the hell are you doing?
You know, me old smart.
I'm thinking to myself, what the hell it looks like?
I do it running that route.
What you got on such and such?
I said, I thought I got
what can I say?
Somebody told me the wrong route.
You supposed to know what the hell you're supposed to do anyway.
That's that's a
learner.
That's how it learned.
It's a cutthroat baby, no joke.
Bro, I'm trying to get a job.
Absolutely.
And
if I can remove you out of the way to make my opportunity to get this job easier, guess what I'm going to do?
I am going to remove you.
Called removing the competition.
We know it.
We hear all about
the drug, what they try to do.
Take over somebody's territory.
You try to expand the territory.
It doesn't matter how.
I just need to expand.
I just make sure.
so he tried to remove me i've run the wrong route
hey let me hey no ask again
but you know what
and mary porter used to say god don't like ugly sometimes he don't like pretty
guess who wasn't the first one to get cut
but he told you the wrong route
hey listen one thing about it boy you can't deny greatness boy
you you can't it was meant you can't deny greatness greatness.
You know?
It was meant for me to go there.
Remember when we got, when we got, when it, when Shadur got drafted, I said
it's a blessing in disguise.
Because
they've always had an issue at finding the answer at that position.
Now, watch they try to play with him.
I said, watch they try to play with him, and he ends up being the answer that they didn't even know they had.
Watch.
I guarantee you.
And if I'm wrong, I put my foot in my mouth.
If I'm wrong,
he might be the answer, Ocho.
And that was not even the test that they gave him.
See, that's the problem that they're up against.
Wait a minute, man, man, bring that back one more time.
That's it.
You said he could be the answer.
Yes, he could well be the answer, and that's not the test that they gave him.
Hey, what are you preaching tonight, Black God?
What's for you?
What's for you?
What's for you?
It's for you.
Can't nobody stop it.
If it's meant to be, it's meant to be.
And God is God in good and in bad.
And we just got it.
We just, we understand that.
We accept that.
But,
yeah.
Whatever.
He has a lot going on.
Don't think his mind is not, hey, it's Pops.
You know how close he is with his dad.
His dad dealing with what he's dealing with.
But his dad says, Hey, you have a that I got this.
You have that up there in Cleveland.
You let me take care of this down here in Boulder.
Hey,
make the Browns great again.
MBGA.
Yeah,
yeah,
MBGA.
Make the Browns great again.

Hey, check this out.
Shadur Sanders will start Cleveland's Friday preseason opener.
Kevin Stafansky confirmed this today and added that Tyler Snoop Huntley will be the only other quarterback to play in the game with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Dylan Gabriel slated to rest.
Won't he do it?
Won't he do it, Ark?
Hey, look, look,
the opportunity has presented itself.
It's kind of like divine order, if y'all ask me, Arkan Ocho.
You know what I mean?
Like, it's like God working mysterious ways, man.
I know we don't want nobody to get hurt, but to see them two dudes have, you know, somewhat hamstring injuries and flappo, obviously, probably who's not going to play.
Man, I'm looking forward to him just coming out, you know, relaxing and just having fun, bro.
I think it's going to be a good time for the young fella.
You know what my mindset is?
What's that?
Kenny Pickett and Dylan Gabriel are about to get some permanent rest
they're gonna be gone and the way we get
it's old for them yeah
it's old for them
just go ahead just do what you do enjoy the moment
that's it man just be you titus stop
hey but look can y'all imagine like the jitters or or or the butterflies that he may have like he's actually about to get ready to live out of uh the american dream you know which is making it to the NFL.
That's probably one of his main goals.
And to be able to, you know, start in his first preseason game.
Man, I remember when I was a rookie, Uncle Ocho, listen, boy, I took the preseason like it was the playoffs,
like you know, as because as a young fella, you know, you gotta, you gotta prove no better, you gotta, you gotta prove yourself.
So, only thing you know is going out there playing hard and showing that you belong.
Yeah,
what's up?
It's a party over there, huh?
What's up, Titus?
Man, Thanos done got a haircut.
Where he at?
He right here.
Oh, I thought that was Teddy.
What?
I'm just...
Oh.
Get him, get him, Thanos.
Titus.
you need to hush bro you hey
you got some killers over there boy
I agree with you Joe and I was talking to telling old Joe this I said look look how this thing worked out yeah
four string ain't gonna start yeah
I told you listen fourth string he's fourth on the depth chart
yeah I don't know because what I've been I mean I read and it says, man, Shador is outplaying Dylan Gabriel.
And then some people keep saying, well, he ain't.
I don't really know.
I mean, I wish I could be there to actually see it for myself.
But I've read more articles and with it's, it, it says, it reads that Shador is outplaying Dylan Gabriel.
Yeah.
I agree.
I've been, I've been seeing some of that.
I've been seeing a lot of it too.
Listen, Uncle.
You know, my eyes and the ears, my eyes and the ears, they're in Miami.
You hear me?
What do you mean?
When I want to know about what's going on and how...
He got eyes in Miami.
He got ears in Cleveland.
Oh, okay.
You hear me?
So I just ask.
I go straight to the source.
I go to the source.
It's actually on the field.
I go to the source that's not a media person, that's not an analyst that can give it to me straight.
Boy, what are them boys out there looking like, man?
Okay, boom.
That last time I said a name.
This time I'm not saying no names, which is why I'm so confident.
And when we talk about Shador and the Cleveland Browns, that's all.
Because I also mean no disrespect.
I told you we're going to get his opportunity.
I didn't know it would come this fast and in this way.
I've said it.
I said it before.
Okay, Joe Flacco is going to be the starter.
And I say, if things aren't going well for Joe Flacco, because he plays well in Spurs, he'll get on a four or five game stretch and things somewhat fall apart or come off the hinges.
And then he'll get his opportunities.
Now you get your opportunity early.
You see how God worked?
Yep.
Remember the Wally Pip story?
You know about the Wally Pip story?
Yeah.
Chad, Chad, if you don't know about the Wally Pip story, look at the Wally Pip story.
You know, I don't want nobody injured, but I just want the opportunities given to players that are drafted to a team to be fair.
And everybody giving.
Well, you see how God works.
Wally Pip wasn't injured.
He just had a headache that day.
It never got his job back.
But you look, we'll find out.
We'll see.
Everybody, like I said, it's only three preseason games.
So,
I mean,
the mere fact that he's playing, because normally when guys, they're not expecting guys to make a change.
Oh, Joe,
normally they don't let them guys play because you know why?
Because I don't want you to get hurt and I got to keep you.
Hey, but listen.
He prepared for this, huh?
Joe,
he's prepared for this moment.
If anything in all you've been through, the doubters, the naysayers, the haters, your enemies right there in your own backyard that drafted you, if what the owner said last week is not motivation to go out there and cut a plum fool
in an organized way,
in an organized way, in a structured environment, it's still the game of football.
Show that you can be a leader, calm.
quiet, collected, and reserved.
Martha, I guarantee, watch what, watch what what happened.
Guarantee he marched the ass right down the goddamn field in that first drive.
First drive.
First drive.
I guarantee you, that's how it plays out.
Marching right down the field.
Listen, if you don't play well, I'm going to hold him accountable.
If you don't play well, I'm going to hold him accountable.
Just like we supposed to hold everybody accountable.
I mean,
huh?
Oh, they talk about, oh, Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Dylan Gabriel are slated to rest.
Nah, they hurt.
two of the three hurt
ain't no resting they ain't no they ain't got enough credential they ain't got enough time under their belt to get rest in a preseason game they ain't done enough only one got time to rest is joe flacco yeah exactly he got 18.
okay
i get that but them other two
they fight for job now
yeah i'm excited I'm excited.
You know who played tomorrow?
Who played tomorrow?
The Bengal.
That's who.
What you mean?
Who they play?
Who they play, Ojo?
They play the Eagles, boy.
We play the Eagles.
You know,
we play the Eagles.
You know,
we're going to put belt to ass.
That's what.
First of all, y'all don't play in the preseason.
And guess what?
Hey, we can't.
Listen, we're not pulling that.
We're not pulling that this year.
Y'all pull that every year.
No, no, no.
I'm saying they've been relaxing in the preseason, right?
Yeah.
Not playing the preseason and then going to week one, trying to go from zero to a hundred.
you are
t i need y'all boys, get one or two series, get one or two series, just get get the juices flowing, get acclimated to the speed of the game.
I know you, I know y'all, your veterans now.
Come on, now, we can't start, we can't start
the season 0-2, 0-3 out the gate again.
We can't afford that.
We can't afford that.
I give y'all a quarter.
I give them a quarter, Ocho.
Oh, they ain't playing no quarter.
They ain't playing no quarter the first preseason game, Joe.
They're giving one series, One or two series.
They ain't gonna give us a ham.
Not to the third game.
But it's only it's only a young, it's only three games now, huh?
Three, yeah.
Yeah, so the third game, hey, Joe, we played a half damn near the whole first half.
Yeah.
Or play or play the first series of the third quarter.
All right.
See what y'all working with?
Hey, Joe, I love the practice so much.
I love the preseason so much much because I wanted to get my body as acclimated to game speed as fast as possible.
Joe, we could practice for 100 days straight, full pads against yourself, and you get in the game.
It's nothing like that.
Nothing like that.
It's fast, no matter what you do.
There's no way to duplicate and replicate the speed of an actual NFL game.
I don't care how much you practice.
That's how I love it so much.
I had Coach Lewis, hey,
I told this before, Joe, I would not come out the game in preseason.
I made Coach Lewis call a timeout.
You wanted to get your reps in.
What?
He talked about one series.
Man,
he came out and the twos went in.
I told the receiver to stay back and I went back in the game again.
Hey, OJ.
I understand what you're saying.
Rhythm and time is everything, brother, especially in basketball.
You know, so I can understand in football, you know, just, you know, route running, being sharp on your plays.
I can understand that part.
Just like basketball, if if you don't play, bro, you lose that rhythm and time and it throws you off.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It definitely takes time.
And look, I needed to get reps too.
That's how I was on your.
I wanted to look.
I understand, okay, we're going to go a series, the first, the first game, maybe two series or the quarter, the third, the second game.
And then we go into the half.
We go at bare minimum, we go into the half.
And normally we take the first series because, and sometimes we're like, okay, we're going to use the first series in the third quarter.
We're going to go two minutes.
So we're going to go hurry up just to get that in one time.
But
yeah,
I needed a preseason.
Like these guys, I don't know how they do it.
I take my hat off to these guys.
They come out there.
And I guess right now the way they do it, Ocho, these scripted practices against each other, I guess that's their preseason game.
That ain't, that ain't foot, that ain't pre, no, no, it ain't the same.
Right.
Not even close.
But I'm anxious to see.
I'm anxious to see
how she do it.
Look, I don't care what anybody says.
You're going to be nervous.
I don't care how long you've been playing football.
This is every every,
I got nervous every game I played.
That's
just the preseason.
I mean, I got butterflies and I got goosebumps every game that I played.
Same.
And
you've been playing.
I've been playing tackle football since I was nine.
Yeah.
And I still got nervous.
Yeah.
Hey,
when they, hey, Joe,
they played that Phil Collins.
Oh.
And in the air of the night, and
that thing, when that thing play and you out there stretching, I can feel it.
Hey, Joe.
Yo, right before, right before kickoff and that Welcome to the Jungle start playing.
Man, listen.
I know what you talk about.
Joe, I'd be so nervous.
Yeah.
I'd be so nervous.
And for one, and I made it even worse on myself, Joe, because I done talked trash all week.
Oh, Joe,
it's saying Burrow and the starters will play the first quarter.
See?
Boy, are we going to the Super Bowl, boy?
Man, I just told y'all that.
Hey, boy, we going to Super Bowl, boy.
Listen, I know.
I know.
Hey, Zach, hey, Zach Taylor.
Hey, Zach, I know you're going to see this.
I love you.
Hey, Joe Burrow, I love you.
T.
Higgins, Chase, the rest of the receivers, the O-line.
Now, this, this, what they doing, what they doing today, what they doing tomorrow, is going to be the reason why we're going to be in San Francisco.
I said it here first.
Okay.
I said it here first.
Now, watch how we come out week one in september
oh y'all got week one it don't even matter cleveland
i think we got cleveland i know i'm serious i'm i think hey chat
chat who we got um week one the bangles we got cleveland right you know what we oh i ain't like open up with division opponents let me get let me get my real let me get some time let me get like two or three games in before i tell y'all look That first game, Ocho, you ain't got your time and your foot.
You know, you ain't got your feet right here.
You know what I'm saying?
Let me get like three or four games and let me get y'all let me see y'all week four week five
okay okay
but y'all do open up with y'all do open up with cleveland see i knew i know it won't at cleveland at cleveland oh i got the schedule in my head i got the schedule in my head i'm ready hey look look it ain't nothing like getting off to a good start neither boy winning that first game oh yeah yeah it ain't nothing like you always want to get off to a good start boy
That's important.
You got to win that first game.
Ain't nothing like that.
So the Browns are giving Shadua one day of reps with the ones for the very first time at the joint practice two days before a start.
Let's see here for a second, chat.
So all this time, he ain't got no work with the ones.
Not one, not one snap, not one rep.
He'll won't he do it.
Hey.
The boy's gonna ball out, man.
Hey, a mysterious way.
I'm telling you, you're gonna go out there, take them boy right down the field.
I'm just trying to figure out if you're really trying to do an evaluation, oh Joe, how can I say I'm trying to evaluate you when I don't give you the same opportunities that I'm giving everybody else that I'm evaluating?
Now, Ocho, I'm gonna see if you can do this job.
Now, the job requires a computer, but I ain't gonna give you no computer, Ocho.
But this is what I'm gonna do.
Oh, damn, them other guys ain't come to ain't come to work today.
Okay, Ocho, you up.
Here's the computer.
Now, you ain't let me work the computer the whole damn time for two weeks.
But you know the funny thing about that, though?
Even though I wasn't able to work the computer for them two weeks, when you put the computer in my hands, I'm still better than those that's had it at their disposal before me, anyway.
Hello, hello.
I'm gonna be better than those that had the computer them other two weeks before me, anyway.
And I'm gonna put it on display
under the under the lights at that.
Well, I just thought, like, if you're evaluating, you evaluate under the same sort of circumstances.
You can't say, well, you can't say, well, I'm going to see these two.
If I got two pans and I'm going to see which one can stand the temperature, I got to put them under the same temperature
in order to do a proper evaluation.
I can't let one guy get no reps with the ones, only get a few reps with the threes and fours.
And now I get two days before, okay.
Okay, you up, son?
Yeah.
That's not an evaluation.
Evaluation is
you put things under the same set of circumstances over the same amount of time.
I like it.
That's how you get boiling or you get freezing temperatures.
Because guess what?
It's going to, at 212, it's going to boil.
It's either going to bust pipes or make diamonds, baby.
I'm ready.
This is an opportunity.
This is what he waited for.
This is what a lot of people cheered for.
Like, man, I sure hope he gets an opportunity.
I sure hope he gets a chance to show what he can do.
And it is.
This is how the opportunity came about.
I don't feel bad.
Hey, I know you saw this chat.
I know y'all saw this, Joe.
I'm not sure how often you're on Twitter, but you know, I'm on there all day having fun, making jokes.
But did you see the meme, right?
The meme, but
I think it might have been the end of Kobe's career.
Kobe might have hit 60 at a game, and all of all the celebs was there.
And they used that clip of um
a snoop dog and Kanye.
Everybody was courtside, and they was cheering, it was hype, right?
I guess Kobe might have hit 60 or something, yeah, he had 60 that year against Utah.
That's what it was, yeah.
And then the caption was,
This is this is black Twitter when Shadura throws his first eight-yard slant.
Everybody go
celebrate.
Oh,
it is so funny.
D even Prime had to comment on it.
His first completion.
Yeah, first completion.
His first completion, people are going to be, hey, man, that's the game winning the Super Bowl.
Hey, dog, that was so funny.
Hey, what y'all think the raids are going to be on this game Friday when they play?
Oh, it's going to be
crazy.
Yeah, Raiding going to be crazy because you know everybody tuning in to see what 12 and the dude.
Yeah, for sure.
For sure.
It'll be the one.
Hell, this game might do a bigger rating than the real Browns game.
Why you bull?
I know, no, real talk.
Now, yeah, you're right, you're right, you're right.
When was the last time, the last time they had a player that was this talked about?
You probably got to go back to Baker Mayfield, yeah, probably Baker.
And the same thing happened to Baker.
Remember, you put Baker as the backup, and everybody was talking about Baker the backup,
yeah.
Damn, I'm trying to think of a play that that was talking about.
Hey, this is how the big it is, Ocho.
Joe, it's a national televised game.
Yeah.
Cleveland in a preseason.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The stage said, man, it's the A, it said time.
Oh, let me
add a little plot twist for you, Ocho.
Cleveland,
Carolina Panthers, national televised game.
That's crazy, ain't it?
That's crazy, ain't it?
It's crazy the power of that last name, even though they're trying to humble it.
Let that sink in.
This is an iHeart podcast.
