Speaker 5 Bo, once you cross the 50 now, as soon as you cross the 50 in field goal range, when I was playing, it was the 35. You were trying to protect the 35.

Speaker 5 Now, as soon as you cross half did you then they got three yeah for sure baltimore they you know they're able to hold up after that and they hold him to three they they kick they kick a field goal they get three points and then you know baltimore comes out there and lamar he had like a little little bad throw i think that's the only bad throw he had on that third down the low and outside so they ended up doing a basically you know a three and out and you know after you have a few weeks off you know that's what happens you know what i'm saying um They punt the ball.

This is like what bad teams do.

Speaker 5 baltimore gets the ball of course they go for it on fourth down and he he he throws a touchdown to to mark andrews and now you know it done it done flipped upside down that was a good defensive play no i wasn't i wasn't saying that was what bad teams do on that play that was a good defensive effort that dude he ripped the ball out they were forced tackling so that was a good play by the ravens defense they step they played a lot better in uh that game for sure you know what i noticed though like as soon as miami got the ball the first play old dude hit 19 19.

Speaker 5 It was like they first play.

Speaker 5 They was like moving it. You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 5 It was like the first.

Speaker 5 And then I think later on in that same drive, they got a, you know, they got one for like about 22 or something. That was the two big plays in that drive.

Speaker 5 And they go for it on fourth down, fourth and one. And again, like you were saying.
This is when I was saying what bad teams do. You get the false start and you're getting a little momentum.

Speaker 5 You're making plays. Like you're thinking, nah, we can get another score.
Let's get some points on the board. and you get a false start, which throws you all the way off.

Speaker 5 And then, even to make even more worse, you missed it, you missed the field goal. No, no, they made that one.
Oh, made that one, I think that was the one they made. No, they made the first one.

He missed this one. So, I'm saying, like, yeah, because

Speaker 5 you know, it could have been six, seven. You know, it could have been, it could have been, and then they, then they missed, they missed the field goal.

Speaker 5 It was doing that like fake handoff. There was a lot of bang eights.
There was a lot of like posts right behind people's heads. Like as soon as you fake something, he's throwing it on time.

Speaker 5 So they were doing, they were hitting plays, but they weren't able to capitalize and get any points.

Speaker 5 Yeah, and Baltimore get back out there. And we hadn't heard from likely, but on that third down, dude, he went on ahead, end of the first quarter, hit him for, what was it, about 35?

Speaker 5 Something like that. Yep.
Up the sideline. No question.
A few plays later, Mark Andrews, that man show up again. 20-yard touchdown.
How do you run into it?

Speaker 5 That play, how do you run into each other as CEs and you're not looking ahead of you? Like, ain't nobody for it. So

Speaker 5 that's what I'm saying. We used to call Le Joint.

Speaker 5 No, no, it's called tailpipe. You got to get directly behind your, behind the tight end.
Because if you're directly behind the tight end, if he don't hit it, you won't hit it.

Speaker 5 If you're on top of him at all,

Speaker 5 they're trying to make you collide into each other. And if you don't get directly behind the dude, we do drills like people, you got to like on the drag routes, on those crossers.

Speaker 5 If you don't get directly behind your guy, you're going to run smack into somebody because

Speaker 5 that's how the play is set up to do. It's so difficult.
You know what I'm saying? So if you don't get directly behind them, you're going to run. bam, just like they did right into each other.

Speaker 5 So it's a technique that the DBs, we always get taught that because rub routes, all that. If you don't get directly behind your guy and then come up, then pop up on the other side.

Speaker 5 You got to do do that no question now it's 14 three

Speaker 5 miami gets the ball back i think tour uh he ended up hitting waddle i think it was it was for like 35 40 something like that but they caught a tripping that wasn't a tripping dude was not a tripping he slipped and

Speaker 5 did you see how pissed he was yes he has every right to be pissed because the coach is yelling at him he's like right i'm like as a coach how you don't look and see he's telling telling you he didn't do that.

Speaker 5 How you don't look and look at the top of the thing and say, hey, like, hey, okay, I see it. He just takes off.
You know why? Because everybody is under fire over there right now.

Speaker 5 You know what I mean? No, for sure. For sure.
So you can do that. That's a huge momentum shift where they don't get that points.
Now you add on top of it. You missed three the first time.

Speaker 5 So it could be six, seven. Now you can't.

Speaker 5 You can't get back. ahead of the chains.
You know what I'm saying? And that could have been a potential touchdown. You know what I'm saying? No, for for sure.

Speaker 5 Potential 10 points where it might have been 13, 14 after this, but they end up punting. Yeah,

Speaker 5 that right there is unfortunate because it's not the fault of the player. Like the Dolphins, they did what they had to do.
That's just a terrible call. But he slipped.
He wasn't trying to trip.

Speaker 5 He didn't even swing his feet to either. He didn't even swim off the state.
He didn't even kick his leg up.

Speaker 5 You could tell when dudes are falling, they get that extra kick up. He's falling.
He's just falling. And that's all it was.
That's like a cut block, if anything. Like,

Speaker 5 I don't understand that. Baltimore gets back out there.
The Dolphins stand up. They sack him on the first play.

Speaker 5 You know what I'm saying? And then I believe on the third down, where dude wanted

Speaker 5 a flag, he gets an unsportsman-like conduct. Spazzing on the ref.
That puts him back, you know, a little further. So they end up punting the ball.

Speaker 5 Miami comes and they get a good return, dude, to the 29.

Speaker 5 Add on top of it, they had a holding penalty. Baltimore did.
That's rare, which gave him an extra 10 yards, put them at the 29.

Speaker 5 Like,

Speaker 5 dude, and they cannot convert and get a touchdown. They go for a field goal and it's six to 14.
Yeah.

Speaker 5 Yeah.

Speaker 5 You did that those, they're not not being able to get any like real, you're in great field position. And then missing field goals,

Speaker 5 getting out of field goal range, not and then just not getting touchdown. You're playing against Lamar Jackson.
They're scoring points on the other side.

Speaker 5 You're not going to beat them with field goals. Yeah.
And then the defense, they get, you know, well, Miami's defense get right back out there. They force a three and out.
Miami gets the ball back.

Speaker 5 They start driving down the field. I think Tua hits Waddle for a nice third down completion.
I think it was like for maybe 15 on the third down.

Speaker 5 And then it was another one later on along the way for about 25, 24, something like that. The running back, he got something for about 15, 20 like that.
They go for it on the fourth and two.

Speaker 5 They don't make it because it just looked like they had some type of miscommunication going on. I don't, I don't know, and right then and there, I don't even know if I go for that on fourth and two.

Speaker 5 Like, you kick it, it's nine to 14.

Speaker 5 You already, I mean, I understand he missed one, but you, you already had a, had a missed opportunity here and there. You don't want to keep leaving potential, you know, points out there.

Speaker 5 Keep leaving with nothing. Yeah, you got to leave here with something.
Like,

Speaker 5 like, I got, yeah, like you said, I'm leaving here with with something. Like,

Speaker 5 at some point, you got to leave there with something. You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
And then Baltimore, again,

Speaker 5 they go out there and Miami's defense, they able to hold up. Like, they doing what they need to do, get you the opportunities to get the ball back.

Speaker 5 And I believe that was when Tua got sacked to end the half.

Speaker 5 But at the same time, you know, when you look at it, the missed opportunity, the messed up call with the missed opportunity, the missed field goal, like they could actually mess around had and had been up going into the halftime, dude.

Speaker 5 Like, when you really look at it, halftime, it could have been something totally different.

Speaker 5 I mean, Bashiro was only one of what, six on third down, only had about 100 yards, 110 yards, something like that. But the big thing is they was one-on-one in the red zone.
You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 5 Yeah. That's

Speaker 5 me had double yards, like 225.

Speaker 5 The running back was doing them: 12 for 67, another five

Speaker 5 for 35 receiving,

Speaker 5 but they only two in the red zone, bro. Yeah, you know how that is, the execution of those that red zone efficiency.

Speaker 5 Once you get down there, getting points, seven, if you leave with nothing, leave with zero, you know what I'm saying, like not getting three points, and then you're playing against the Ravens where they they're scoring touchdowns.

Speaker 5 They're getting down there with Andrews, they're marching the ball, and they're getting points off of it. And, you know, and they're taking time off the clock.

Speaker 5 You're not going to have that many possessions in general. So you better use them wisely because they're scoring on their possessions.
They're taking clock off. They're taking time off the clock.

Speaker 5 And then when you get the rock back, you're looking nuts when you can't score. Yeah.
And then the second half, Baltimore gets the ball back.

Speaker 5 They come out and they basically work their way down the field. Third down, Lamar scrambled on them because they playing man.
Ain't nobody paying no attention. They can't see it.
He gets 13.

Speaker 5 Like when you look at that drive, I think he was like six, no, seven for seven

Speaker 5 ended it with a three-yard touchdown it's it's 20 it's it's 20 he didn't even miss like it's 21 to 6 now off rip

Speaker 5 miami gets back out there and again now the defense starting to show up the deep deep the the the the uh the ravens defense

Speaker 5 kind of used to hearing about and seeing so first play they get a sack second second play it's i think it was a negative uh run

Speaker 5 and then my man kyle hamilton all them boys they was getting up in the line yeah you you they punt the ball right you know right back off and i'm like whoa this like this is like ravens defense that you've been you know you've been come accustomed to seeing like it's it's looking like that

Speaker 5 baltimore get the ball back four plays bro they go they go four play 60 yards just oh well no just under just over two minutes

Speaker 5 the mar bust him again a hot two for two 48 with with one of them being a nine yard touchdown it's it's 28 to 6

Speaker 5 and you know it's it's not it's not looking good yeah it's it's ugly from there it's ugly from there yeah miami they come back out again the first play i don't know why but they get like a nice game on the very first play and then after that baltimore stood up basically three and out they end up you know well except for the little first first down they end up punting the ball and

Speaker 5 baltimore get the rock back. You let Derrick Henry peel one off for what, about 35, 40? Yeah, that's when they started just giving it to him.
He was 35, 40 for sure. They still stiffened up.

Speaker 5 Like Miami's defense still stiffened up. You know, they made them, they forced them to punt.
You know, so I believe Miami gets the ball back into that third quarter. They had that,

Speaker 5 they had like a 28, 30-yard gain on that one.

Speaker 5 And

Speaker 5 then they get the

Speaker 5 completion by the running back that got reversed.

Speaker 5 that's what it was he catched the ball for 22

Speaker 5 reviewed it said it wasn't said it wasn't a catch

Speaker 5 they end up going i think a couple downs of fourth downs they go for a fourth and one a fourth and 11. miami actually converts which was like that was that was wild

Speaker 5 Then they fumble the rock, dude.

Speaker 5 Baltimore recovers the thing, dude. And I think it's just over what 10 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter you you're down you know 20 28

Speaker 5 you know and from there

Speaker 5 the defense miami's defense they go out they hold up but i don't i mean i'm really thinking it's too late and then tua lets me know that it's too late because he goes immediately i think on the second play second down and throws a throws a pick yep and and from there once baltimore gets the ball back they just just six minutes and some change just hold the ball run the clock out

Speaker 5 like ball game ball game dude like you don't want to know what happened like what happened lamar jackets lamar jackson happened yes that's that that's what happened lamar jackson happened yeah lamar went what 18 to 23 200 four yard four touchdies no picks No question.

Speaker 5 And then the defense stood up too. Yes.
Baltimore Ravens defense, fine. Second half, dude, was crazy.
Like Baltimore just came out second half. They went back-to-back tutties.

Speaker 5 Then the defense started playing more like the defense that we used to seeing from Baltimore. Even if it was first half, bro, like they gave up 225.

Speaker 5 And the game only ended with Miami having, I think, 330, 332. We're talking about two quarters, they barely gave up just over 100 yards and some change.
Yep.

Speaker 5 And even when we said, too, the Bimba don't break. Like, even when they did make plays, plays, like HN did get off.

Speaker 5 Um, he would, uh, Tua was hitting a lot of those bang posts, like for those big plays to waddle, 24-yard gains, 17, 18-yard gains, but they weren't getting any points.

Speaker 5 When they got down to the nitty-gritty in the red zone, either Miami messed it up or the Ravens did something where they got to stop and got them off the field.

Speaker 5 They covered it better, they covered it better in the second half, they put more pressure on Tour.

Speaker 5 You know, I think, I think that was the big,

Speaker 5 excuse me, that was that was the big, uh, the big difference. But like Miami, you, you can't go 0 for 3 in the red zone, brother.

Speaker 5 You can't like just have missed opportunities like that. You know, you're able to gain a whole bunch of yards, but it don't matter if you can't put no points on the board.

Speaker 5 And then, you know, penalties, you know, well, with the one that wasn't a penalty. Well, that shouldn't have been a penalty.
Like I said, that's a, you know, that's a big momentum, you know, turn.

Speaker 5 No, for sure. And like I said, this was the first time that I've I've seen McDaniels show any kind of flare, anger of any sort, McDaniels, of any sort.

Speaker 5 No, and especially to the Eagles, because end of the day, the Eagles, those first-round picks that they're talking about giving us, they're going to be within the end of the first round where you're not going to get a Miles Garrett.

Speaker 5 And at the end of the day, when you do have Miles four years, 160, and he's giving you everything he's got to give you, he's not just knowing that he wants to win, but he's still performing at a high level every week.

Speaker 5 Five sacks last week. You're going to get Miles Garrett's leadership.
You're going to get his his production. He's going to work like he's broke.

Speaker 5 We see contracts coming out now where, you know, Michael Parsons making $46 million a year. We got other defensive ends making $45 million a year.
It's not like that.

Speaker 5 That $40 million a year is market. You're getting a steal.
It's market value now. You set the standard.
Now that's good. You're getting a steal for what you got, Miles.
So it's not going down.

Speaker 5 It's only going up. So for us to be able to keep him at that number for the next three years and be able to have him, we could build around that.

Speaker 5 We can't, we're not going to get another Miles with the 28th pick in the first round of the next three drafts coming up. I don't think so.
So just keep a miles there at this price point.

Speaker 5 And you got to figure some other ways to go build the team and roster. Cause if you want to get a nice team, you don't get rid of your best player.

Speaker 5 I don't think it's a smart move for Cleveland to do that, but
