Oh, okay. We got a special guest joining us tonight.
We got Kamadi Vidal joining us out of Marietta High School with the Troy,
Speaker 2 draft in the sixth round of the 2024 draft.
Speaker 2 Kamadi, how you doing, bro?
Speaker 16 I'm good. How about you?
Speaker 2 i'm doing great man hey hold on troy uh uh demarcus lawrence demarcus where went to troy yeah yeah he did y'all y'all got y'all got a little program down there do a little something out of there yeah yeah man we got we got a little little we got a little history we got a little history yeah marietta high school uh is that the name of the high school you didn't go to wheel or you went to marietta high right yeah marietta okay y'all got a good little program down there yeah we do uh we've had some good players come from there
Speaker 17 I mean, when I was there, we, I mean, we were ranked like,
Speaker 17 I can't remember exactly the ranking we had, but we were, I mean, we were up there with, you know, St. John Bosco and all them.
Speaker 2 Oh, okay, okay. USA Today, top 25.
Speaker 17 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 17 Yeah, Max Preps.
Speaker 2 Okay.
Speaker 2 So, okay, you get drafted in the sixth round, 2024 draft, and obviously, you know, Jim, I mean, John, Jim Harbaugh, he loves to run the football.
Speaker 2 But, but, you know, you see they're like, damn, they went and got a number one draft pick that was with the Steelers.
Speaker 2 What is that going to do for me? What's your mindset coming into this season?
Speaker 17 Uh, just to prove myself, you know, they was going to make whatever decision they felt like
Speaker 17 the team needed to make. So, you know, I was just trying to just prove them.
Speaker 16 I mean, you know, kind of like prove them wrong, honestly.
Speaker 17 You know, I just use that as motivation for myself
Speaker 2 and they took a hold on and they took a they took a running back in the first round
Speaker 2 you like hold on do y'all y'all must have forgot i'm come on come on bro
Speaker 2 y'all oh so y'all will just disrespect me y'all gonna take a y'all gonna take a running back in the first round and you're gonna sign a running back in free agency and i'm sitting up here Okay, I'm gonna show y'all.
Speaker 2 I got something for y'all ass.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 17 I mean,
Speaker 17 not only that, I mean,
Speaker 17 they me at the end of the beginning of the season, and I was on practice squad. So, I mean, that was even more motivation.
Speaker 2 Damn.
Speaker 18 What has your experience been like so far? Obviously, you got drafted in 2024. Regardless of who they brought in, regardless.
Speaker 16 Oh, come on.
Speaker 18 Hey, listen, regardless of who they brought in, how has your experience in the NFL been so far?
Speaker 16 Oh,
Speaker 17
it's been great, honestly. I love the NFL.
You know, it's highly competitive. You know, guys are in their opportunities and and and they they run away with it that's what i'm trying to do
Speaker 2 yeah bad ocho he got he got a don't worry i'm sorry kamani i mean he got he got faulty equipment he tried his best though he tried
Speaker 18 aka i bought a new camera new laptop i'm really not i'm not i'm not tech savvy with this stuff and you know my camera wasn't registered with the computer and i got a cam a cam link and this elgato thing and all i know how to do is play fifa that's that's it that's all
Speaker 18 so i apologize for that but that's it go ahead
Speaker 2 why why have you been able to have such success you mentioned you played you know you got an opportunity you got drafted in 24 and you come in and then you know take a running back in the first round they sign a running back that was a first round draft pick they cut you you're on the practice squad how have you been able to keep focus because a lot of people will get Man, damn, I ain't going to get a chance to play.
Speaker 2
They took a running back in the first round. They brought a free agent running back in here.
Man, I ain't gonna never get an opportunity to really show what I can do by getting touches.
Speaker 2 And it worked out because, guess what? Unfortunately, you didn't wish this on anybody.
Speaker 2
Running back, both of the running backs go down. This is your opportunity to show.
You know what?
Speaker 2 We got a good one. Hey,
Speaker 2 we're not going to lose a step.
Speaker 17 Yeah, I mean,
Speaker 17 I knew there was a chance that even if
Speaker 17 I wasn't able to get on the active roster at the Chargers that
Speaker 17
a team can still claim you. So I was just working off of hope off of that.
Just like using not playing the game to my advantage
Speaker 17 almost like using that almost like a mini, like a little mini offseason almost.
Speaker 2 Yes.
Speaker 2 I love that. I love that you said that because you're like, man, I just want an opportunity.
Speaker 2 I'm just going to go out there and work hard and maybe somebody need a running back and they come get your boy. But my opportunity, you know, in the preseason, run hard when given an opportunity.
Speaker 2
Make sure I go through my assignment. They throw me the ball, I catch it.
If it's time for me to pass block, I pass block. And when they hand me that rock, I'm going to tote it.
Speaker 2 Because you never know.
Speaker 2 There are 31 other teams other than the Chargers, and I love to be with the Chargers. But if it doesn't work out for the Chargers, hey, guess what? Maybe it works out somewhere else.
Speaker 16 Yeah.
Speaker 17 Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 We got, we got a, you got a very, very interesting, great uncle.
Speaker 2 The hammering Hank. hank aaron is your great uncle
Speaker 2 I mean what I mean did you ever take him to school for show and tail
Speaker 2 come on come on
Speaker 17 nah I mean nah nah he uh but shoot by that time I mean he was uh he had hip surgery and you know
Speaker 17 he was uh you know but I mean it was a cool little icebreaker to have like as a you know when you you know who my uncle is hey i bet you don't know who my great uncle is that's a great icebreaker
Speaker 17 yeah two two truths and a lie
Speaker 2 always always catch them
Speaker 2 um
Speaker 2 who would you say you padded who do you say would you pattern your game after
Speaker 16 uh i'll probably say like um
Speaker 17 kind of like josh jacobs
Speaker 18 okay okay i can see that i can see that that's a good one
Speaker 2 man you caused me my parlay too
Speaker 2 how i do that Because you wasn't supposed to get 55 yards. You got damn near 130.
Speaker 17 Hey, man, that's.
Speaker 2
The week before, the week, I based it on the week before. I said, man, he ain't getting no carries.
I said, well, he ain't going to do nothing. The next thing I know.
And then you had like 20 yards.
Speaker 2
They had you bottled up. Next thing you know, you break off a 40-yarder.
There go my parlay. And then you're like, I ain't satisfied with that.
I'm going to give me a couple of more 10, 15 yarders.
Speaker 17 Hey, that's it. Hey, that's that's that.
Speaker 2 Hey, that's not.
Speaker 18 That's on, that's on you.
Speaker 2 The next parlay they come up, and you involve. Hey, I'm taking it over.
Speaker 18
Hey, hey, Kay, what else you like to do outside of football, man? Everybody has their passions. Obviously, our job is football.
And once it's football season, what do you have to get when
Speaker 18 you want to reset, when you want to recharge mentally and get away from the game of football? What is it that you like to do that you're passionate about?
Speaker 17 I like to.
Speaker 17 I have a dog. I like to play with him.
Speaker 2 What kind?
Speaker 2 Uh, he likes a
Speaker 2 go right there.
Speaker 17 Yeah,
Speaker 17 yeah,
Speaker 17 he likes a like a lab mix.
Speaker 2 Okay,
Speaker 17 there you go, right there.
Speaker 2 He said, Man, look here, let me get some, let me get some time, man. Hey, yeah, somebody might have a female dog out here want to holler at you, boy.
Speaker 17 But yeah, uh, no, I like to play with him. Um, I like to read, play some video games.
Speaker 18 Hey, what, what, what video games you play?
Speaker 16
I don't play FIFA. I'm going to go ahead and tell you that.
You play Madden?
Speaker 16 Nah. Damn, for real.
Speaker 17 When I'm away from football, I got to get away.
Speaker 17 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, I play the little
Speaker 17 single-player games. Like,
Speaker 2 you play COD?
Speaker 16
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Speaker 17
Yeah, I play COD. I play Battlefield.
I know Battlefield.
Speaker 18 Battlefield. Nice,
Speaker 17 Yeah, yeah, it is.
Speaker 2 I'm going to have to start playing. I'm going to have to.
Speaker 2 What's your line name? I'm going to have to start playing.
Speaker 2 Yeah, your tag. What's your tag?
Speaker 16 Stop playing, man.
Speaker 2
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm going to make sure.
I make sure I get him. He done calls me my partler.
He got, he, hey, his character got it down, Card.
Speaker 2 I got to get my get back.
Speaker 2 You're going to be my first victim.
Speaker 2 Give me your top five. Give me your top five running backs.
Speaker 17 Probably say, I mean, Jonathan Taylor. I mean, he balling right now.
Speaker 17 Gibbs.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 17 B. John.
Speaker 17 Man, it's a lot of good backs.
Speaker 17 Damn.
Speaker 17 They're going to clip me on this one.
Speaker 2
I mean, you got. Hey, bro, look at the list that you gave.
JT, Bijan.
Speaker 2
You still got Saquon out there. You still got King Henry.
You still got Josh Jacobs. You got James Cook.
Speaker 18 Aaron Jones.
Speaker 17
Yeah, I got you. And you got Gibbs.
I got to put Cook and
Speaker 16 Christian.
Speaker 2
Oh, McCabe. Okay, yeah.
See? Yeah. That's a nice little list there.
Speaker 18 That's a good list.
Speaker 2 Yeah, they're going to to clip you because you didn't put Saquon or Dave Henry in there.
Speaker 17 Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 I tried to get y'all in there. I tried to get you in there, King Henry, and Kwan, but he said, no,
Speaker 2 them his picks right there.
Speaker 2 So now that you know, y'all have y'all. Have y'all had y'all bye week yet?
Speaker 17 Nah, not yet.
Speaker 2 Have you thought about what you're going to do on the bye week or you just take it a week? Late, let me get to the bye week and then I'll decide what I'm going to do right now. I'm in the thick of it.
Speaker 17 No, yeah, yeah. gonna i'm i'm waiting till we get to the bye i have no idea what we're gonna do well what i'm gonna do
Speaker 17 had you had a family come see you play yet huh have you had family come see you play yet yeah yeah we uh actually i have some family in miami and we when we played in miami uh okay they all came out
Speaker 2 okay

Speaker 2 man, look,
Speaker 2 that's unbelievable, man.
Speaker 2
Best of luck, man. Congratulations.
Look, you didn't put your head down. A lot of people would have gone into a shell.
Speaker 2 Given the circumstances, they drafted the running back, signed a free agent running back. You get released, signed to the practice squad, but you didn't hang your head.
Speaker 2
You're like, when my opportunity comes, I'm going to do what I'm supposed to do. I know what I'm capable of doing.
So, man, congratulations. Keep your head up.
Stay healthy, bro. Stay healthy.
Speaker 2 And best of luck down the road.
Speaker 2 Appreciate it, man. Have a good one.
Speaker 2 Your camera jumped off again, don't you?
Speaker 18 You're looking right at me.

Speaker 2 Oh, my bad.
Speaker 2 Days after LSU 5 football coach Brian Kelly, Athletic Director Scott Woodward is leaving the university as well.
Speaker 2 The decision comes following remarks from Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry that criticized Woodward's decision making. I can tell you right now, Scott Woodward is not selected the next head coach.
Speaker 2 Hell, I'll let Donald Trump select him before I let him do it. The Board of Supervisors is going to come up with the committee that's going to find us a coach.
Speaker 2 Woodward was the one that hired Kelly in 2021, but after a rather disappointing tenure, it resulted in the coach's dismissal on October 26th. LSU owes Kelly approximately $54 million.
Speaker 2 Landry reportedly
Speaker 2
had a hand, oh, a hand of LSU's firing of Kelly. Well, damn, and has appointed nine of the 18 board members supervisors.
Damn, that will apparently lead the search for a new coach.
Speaker 2 Baton Rouge native, a Louisiana grad, had been the Tigers athletic director since 2019 when they won the national championship.
Speaker 2 In his tenure, he hired Kim Mulkey as the basketball coach, won a national championship, and baseball coach Jay Johnson won a national championship.
Speaker 2 Obviously, we know in 2019, that was one of the greatest teams ever assembled with Joe Burrow and Jeddah and Chase, Clyde Edwards Alaire.
Speaker 2 They had Red Fad Moss.
Speaker 2
They had Patrick Queen. I think Stingley was on that staff.
Greg Delpitt. So we know what LSU represented in 2019.
Speaker 2 But unfortunately, when you spend that kind of money and you're not getting the results that you hope to get,
Speaker 2 you got to go. Hey, listen,
Speaker 18 listen.
Speaker 18 There's a committee of people who pick and choose
Speaker 18 who you want to have to be the coach. Obviously, you're always looking for someone with experience that has coached in the past, that has had success wherever they've been.
Speaker 18 But the only people, only person we hear about is the coach, the coach that gets fired and his staff. And his staff and everyone else have an uproot.
Speaker 18 But they also need to hold the people accountable who are responsible for continuing to pick these coaches, and they keep getting fired.
Speaker 18
And they keep getting fired. To me, I think they should try going in a different direction.
I think they should try going in a different direction. What if it...
Speaker 2 What direction is that?
Speaker 18 I mean, try going with someone that knows a game of football that might not have any coach experience that wants to coach.
Speaker 2
That ain't happening. Not at no major university.
Yeah.
Speaker 16 Yeah.
Speaker 2 I understand.
Speaker 18 But, hey, so
Speaker 2 you won't want...
Speaker 2 Because think about the budget.
Speaker 2 Think about all the programs you got.
Speaker 2 As a head coach
Speaker 2 in the SEC.
Speaker 18 Hey, think about it. At LSE.
Speaker 18 Think about it. You heard what you just said? Head coach, SEC, at LSU.
Speaker 2 Head coach.
Speaker 2 Shannon.
Speaker 18 Elophius Sharp.
Speaker 2
No, sir. Everybody knows I want no part of coaching.
I don't have the patience.
Speaker 2 I barely have patience.
Speaker 18 We talk about LSU. You as the head coach in the booth.
Speaker 2 I want no part of that book.
Speaker 18 Think about the discipline, the structure that you provide to that university.
Speaker 2 Something they, look, man, them kids will love that, man.
Speaker 18 And I could come on,
Speaker 18 I could be your assistant.
Speaker 2
No, I like this right here. I got something.
We got something in the wood. We got something in the working right now
Speaker 2
that don't involve coaching. Trust me.
Okay.
Speaker 2
I'm going to be busy. You go be busy.
We don't have time to be coaching.
Speaker 18 Listen,
Speaker 18 you have to stop when doors open and
Speaker 18 you need to let God use you.
Speaker 18 You need to let God use you sometimes because it's like the signs are there, but you're not really seeing the signs and the opportunities are there.
Speaker 18 And you're really not seeing it because you're not allowing yourself to be used by the Lord.
Speaker 18 There's a reason why that job opportunity opened and it's calling your name.
Speaker 2
Yeah, Penn State opened too. There are a lot of jobs.
Florida open.
Speaker 2
The FSU is going to probably be open. There are going to be a lot of jobs that open.
Unfortunately for me, my head ain't going into the ring. I don't want to coach.
I've never wanted to coach.
Speaker 2 All right.
Speaker 2 I don't have the,
Speaker 2 I know me, Ocho.
Speaker 2
I'm too obsessive. I'm too structured.
I'm too disciplined.
Speaker 18 That's exactly what those students need. Imagine you bring another natty to, well,
Speaker 18 you, man, you would be a legend, boy.
Speaker 18 You're already a legend.
Speaker 18 I mean, you'll be a, you know.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I'm good. I don't want it.
Speaker 2
I don't want it. Hey, call Coach Prime.
Coach Prime, Coach Prime will listen. But
Speaker 2
I got nothing to offer it for a coach. Individuals call and ask me how should they handle certain situations.
I'll give you the best advice I possibly can. But as far as coaching and getting,
Speaker 2 I don't know.
Speaker 2 I don't got that kind of time.
Speaker 2 I did everything I could when I played. And I know what it takes to be a coach because I've seen coaches.
Speaker 2 And when it's done right and it's done at a high level, I ain't got 100 hours a week to put in Ocho.
Speaker 18 Listen, if you wanted to, you would because
Speaker 18 you had 100 hours
Speaker 18 to put in the football.
Speaker 18 You had 100 hours to put into what you loved and what you liked to do because you understood it were going to be able to provide for you and your family and for those that sacrificed you for you to get to that point.
Speaker 18 Now, I'm only, I continue to say this over and over, and I'm harping on it the way I am because I had a dream about it.
Speaker 18 Okay, and it was on my heart. And that's why I missed this my second time mentioning it now.
Speaker 18 Because
Speaker 18 I'm sleeping and he told me, listen, I need you to relay this message to him on the platform because obviously I'm not getting through to him.
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 2 I would consider it if your camera started running out, but since it won't do that,
Speaker 2 no coaching for me.
Speaker 2
Go back and look. I understand.
Coaching ain't for everybody.
Speaker 2 I understand everybody can, you know, twirl a whistle or blow a whistle. And a lot of guys understand X's and those, but I just,
Speaker 2 that ain't my heart, Ocho. I ain't going to hold nobody to that.
Speaker 18 All right, my bad.
Speaker 2 My bad.
Speaker 2 But it's, I mean, at some point in time, they're going to start putting all these buys in there. Stop giving all these coaches these damn 10-year contracts.
Speaker 2 Whatever happened to four or five-year contracts, Ocho.
Speaker 18 I'm going to make it three. Shit.
Speaker 2
I mean, you put a coach out there at 10 million. I think Kirby buy out of 118 million.
What?
Speaker 2 Not that Kirby's going anywhere, but I'm just saying.
Speaker 18 He's not going nowhere.
Speaker 2 Ah, nah, man. I mean, you don't have to give a coach a 10-year contract.
Speaker 2 You don't. Give him four or five years.
Speaker 18 I think the 10-year contract, it just looks good.
Speaker 2 No, it's to try to deter them from
Speaker 2 going upswear.
Speaker 2 To do it with Brian Kelly jumped, you know, how he left Cincinnati and went to Notre Dame and how he left Notre Dame and went to LSU. They're trying to deter guys from doing that.
Speaker 2 So we're like, look, we're going to give you long-term security. We're going to give you
Speaker 2
$100 million deal over 10 years. Okay, I'll stay.
But nah, man, y'all got to stop doing that. If they go, they go.
They weren't meant to be there anyway.
Speaker 2 But I mean, look, at some point in time, look, I've heard a lot of people over the last, since this firing has come out I've just tried to find the one person that's gonna say something good about Brian Kelly Ain't nobody said nothing about him yet Just one just one person one former player just somebody said man.
Speaker 2 He was damn
Speaker 2
Anyway, I just want chat. Maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe hey, maybe in Louisiana there are a lot of kids that's coming out and speaking up on his behalf, but I damn sure haven't seen any on my timeline.
Speaker 2
And I've been trying to scour it. So I don't really know what's going on.
He didn't strike me as an LSU type of a guy.
Speaker 2 But, you know, he said he wanted to go compete for a national championship. That's what he said.
Speaker 2
All I know is that he hadn't been close. Notre Dame competed for a national championship last year, and they're in the process of doing it again this year.
That's what I know. Now,
Speaker 2 could they go back?
Speaker 2 And Marcus Freeman.
Speaker 2 If I'm at any university, Marcus Freeman is going to have to tell me no three times.
Speaker 2 And then I'm gonna call his wife. I'm gonna get his wife's number.
Speaker 2 This is the athletic director, LSU.
Speaker 2
We got a lot of money on the table for your husband. You really like it down here.
If you can just get him down here, we'd love to show you around.
Speaker 2 We know you have five or six kids, but there are a lot, there are a lot of great private schools around here. You know, hey, everything's gonna be taken care of.
Speaker 2 I'm gonna make Marcus Freeman tell me no three times.
Speaker 18 Just three?
Speaker 2 He's gonna have to tell me no three times
Speaker 2 and change his number let me tell you something because I'm gonna call him back I bet you don't know who this is
Speaker 18 you know you know anytime you have to ask something more than two times that's damn near begging huh
Speaker 2 hey what TLC say I ain't too proud to beg
Speaker 2
you talk about one of the great coaches you you got look there ain't no more Nick Sabers out there Kirby ain't leaving Georgia. Hey, I mean, could Lane possibly leave L.
O. Miss? I don't know.
Speaker 2 I think Lane
Speaker 2 probably would only leave for Alabama or something like that. But it seems like Kaylin Nebor is after what he's turned this season around, he's not going anywhere.
Speaker 2 But Marcus Freeman is my first call for every job, and he's going to tell me no three times.
Speaker 18
Oh, you see, you see, Mr. Franklin.
Oh, come on. You see, Mr.
Franklin just got
Speaker 18 over to Virginia Tech, huh?
Speaker 2 Oh, James Franklin.
Speaker 2 I did. Yeah, Mr.
Speaker 18 Franklin is getting ready to sign a deal over at Virginia Tech.
Speaker 18 Just that fast.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 But their expectation, I mean, when you make that big money, Ocho, you know what comes along with big money? Big expectations.
Speaker 2 I mean,
Speaker 2 man, they're not paying you no $8, $9, $10, $11, $12, $13 million to do what?
Speaker 2 Not
Speaker 2 win a conference title, not compete for a national title? But
Speaker 18 you also have to understand this.
Speaker 2 Those that are in position of power that's not that's not been confirmed though joe oh it hasn't
Speaker 18 no oh that must have been a fake tweet then but listen what i want to say the people in positions of power that pay these coaches this money even though you pay that kind of money you know it's not guaranteed that you're going to win an adding it's not guaranteed true it's not guaranteed that you you hope for
Speaker 18 you know to to to to get there and get the right get the right players you know through nil to give you a better chance of reaching it but it doesn't guarantee nothing
Speaker 18 I'm gonna just I'm gonna just switch to my my laptop camera
Speaker 2 yeah it's uh no ain't no guarantee
Speaker 2 but you know with with those facilities that they got LSU they just renovated they probably spent 20 30 million dollars renovating the facility
Speaker 2 yeah and bro man
Speaker 2 yeah
Speaker 2 Nah,
Speaker 2 they're not finna let you do that.
Speaker 2 You got to produce. You're
Speaker 2 You said you was going there.
Speaker 2 The facilities, the money that they invested in you, the invested in the coaches, the money that they invested in the NIL, the upgrade to the facilities.
Speaker 2 And that's not good enough.
Speaker 2 What the hell are we looking at?
Speaker 2 Oh, Lord. Oh, Joe, what you doing?
Speaker 2
Oh, Joe, after the Bengal to the Jets, a season ticket holder called to cancel his tickets for the next season. Here's how it went.
If you cancel your season tickets, how'd it go?
Speaker 2 I called a day to cancel my Bengal season tickets for next year, and the whole conversation felt super guilty, trippy, and argumentative.
Speaker 2 I was asked if I only wanted to be a season ticket holder when we go to the playoffs, and I'm just being emotional for losing to the Jets. They asked me.
Speaker 2 They asked, why was I unhappy?
Speaker 2 So I said that I'm frustrated with the front offense, mainly the lack of real scouting department bad drafts and how the prices keep going up steeply every year since i joined instead of just taking the feedback they got defensive and said things like the front office who drafted joe burrow and t higgins the last thing being asked to me if i wanted the cheap tickets or paid jamar chase and tiggins
Speaker 2 hey hold on That's what y'all doing now, Ocho? That's what y'all doing? Trying to make the people feel guilty? Y'all being argumentative, Ocho? Is that really what y'all doing?
Speaker 18 You You really think that's real?
Speaker 2 Yes, it's the Bengals feed.
Speaker 2 Okay, pull up the bingles feed on your thing on your Twitter.
Speaker 16 Let's see what it looks like.
Speaker 18 Well, when you say Bengal's feed, what, Twitter?
Speaker 18 Pull it up. Like the actual team?
Speaker 2 Bingles Reddit. The Bingles Reddit account.
Speaker 16 Oh, I don't know.
Speaker 2 I don't even, I don't know what that is.
Speaker 2 You got a Reddit account?
Speaker 18 Nah, I just got Twitter and Instagram and TikTok.

Speaker 2 Read, uh, read it. You pull up Reddit.
Speaker 18 I don't have Reddit, huh?
Speaker 18 And you think that's real?
Speaker 2 Yep.
Speaker 18 I doubt it.
Speaker 2 I don't.
Speaker 18 Yeah,
Speaker 18 I don't have a Reddit account. But that doesn't even sound real because those,
Speaker 18 I mean, the people,
Speaker 18 I don't think they even say, they wouldn't say anything like that. That's not professional.
Speaker 2 They would.
Speaker 18 Nah, you know, that's not.
Speaker 2 We dealing with the Bengals, Ocho.
Speaker 18
Oh, no. Listen.
Even if you deal it with the Bengals,
Speaker 18 people wouldn't, they wouldn't say anything like that
Speaker 18 a person that has season tickets. Not like that.
Speaker 18 That sounds no disrespect, it sounds damn near made up.
Speaker 18
I'm just being honest. I'm not taking up for the Bengals.
I'm not taking up
Speaker 2
the count as pull-up. Let's see what it is.
I'm just saying it on the Bengals ready.
Speaker 2 I mean, no, I mean, the kiddie little, they've been upset lately. Yeah, I mean, I mean, the
Speaker 2 listen,
Speaker 18 honestly, the fans have a right to be upset. Hell, I'm upset.
Speaker 2 For sure.
Speaker 2 Well, they was listening to you because you said they were going to win.
Speaker 18 Well, we work on winning if Joe stayed upright and stayed healthy.
Speaker 2
No, no, no, no. Even after the fact, because you said Brother Browning.
That's what he, hey, chat. Did he refer to him as Brother Browning? Brother Browning.
Speaker 16 Brother Browning.
Speaker 2 Are you okay?
Speaker 18 Yeah, I mean, but
Speaker 18
it didn't work. We got Joe Flacco.
Look what happened.
Speaker 18 Joe, hey, Joe's gonna do what he got to do. Joe coming in this week, though.
Speaker 18 They thought Joe wasn't gonna play because of this shoulder.
Speaker 18 Joe gonna play.
Speaker 2 Yep, I'm looking at the official Bengals Reddit account. Yep, it real.
Speaker 2 Yep. I'm sorry, Ocho.
Speaker 18 Hold on. So you think the Bengals posted that?
Speaker 2 No, he posted it.
Speaker 2 The ticket holder posted it.
Speaker 2 But the response was from the Bengals' official account.
Speaker 18 Nah, that's why I'm.
Speaker 2 No,
Speaker 2 why would I repost something that's going to make me look bad?
Speaker 18 That's probably AI.
Speaker 18 That ain't real.
Speaker 18 Because if it was real, by this time, the Bengals would have came out and apologized to the person and it would have been every
Speaker 2
man. When you ever know Mac Brown to apologize, you played for the man.
When was he ever apologizing?
Speaker 18 You can't have people that
Speaker 18 work for your company, work for your business, talking to season ticket holders like that. That's unprofessional.
Speaker 2 Hey, all the seasoned ticket holders are saying the same thing. My husband called and had a very similar experience.
Speaker 2 Oh, Joe, I get it. You're supposed to do, that's the stance you're supposed to take.
Speaker 18 It don't even sound real. I'm just saying.
Speaker 2 It does.
Speaker 2 It sounds real. Why y'all don't have a scouting department then?
Speaker 18 Is that real? Is that real Tobin?
Speaker 2 Why y'all don't have a staff scouting department like all 31 other teams? Is that
Speaker 18 what I just said?
Speaker 18 We've done a phenomenal. Hey, you heard me? We've done a phenomenal job scouting.
Speaker 18 Hey, every single year, what we got at the receiving position.
Speaker 18 Before me,
Speaker 18 before me, after me,
Speaker 2 look where you're at quarterbacks.
Speaker 2 Look where you're picking.
Speaker 18 Whose fault is that?
Speaker 2 You, that's your fault. That's me.
Speaker 18
That's a good thing. Because if we wouldn't pick him, we would pick him.
We wouldn't have had Jamar Chase. Or we wouldn't have been able to get T.
Higgins.
Speaker 18
Or we wouldn't have been able to get Joe Burrow. Or you wouldn't have been able to get me.
You wouldn't be able to get Carson Palmer. You wouldn't be able to get A.J.
Green.
Speaker 2 All that y'all got. Now tell me, how many division titles have you guys won with all the players that you named?
Speaker 16 Oh,
Speaker 18 seven.
Speaker 2 Since you were drafted there, how many division titles have the Bengals won?
Speaker 16 Oh, division titles?
Speaker 2 Seven.
Speaker 2 Because
Speaker 2 I won two.
Speaker 2 You won one. Two.
Speaker 2 One.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 Carson got hurt the first player to play on.
Speaker 18 Damn, that's it.
Speaker 2 My bad.
Speaker 2 I don't think y'all might have won seven division titles since the existence of the Bengals.
Speaker 18 I don't like you taking shots at my team because I don't take shots at yours.
Speaker 2 yours.
Speaker 18 How many division titles the Broncos won? Six. They've won six since 1991.
Speaker 2 They've won six division titles since 1991.
Speaker 18 I said seven.
Speaker 18 I missed it by one. I told you.
Speaker 2 No, I said since you.
Speaker 16 Oh, my man.
Speaker 2 Some of those Boomer Sasan number one.
Speaker 2 Jeff Blake number one.
Speaker 2 Not you.
Speaker 2 How many have they won since 2001?
Speaker 2 Since 2001 or 91?
Speaker 2
They won in 2005, 2009, 2013, 2013. Oh, yeah.
Oh, Andy Dalton. Andy Red Rifle.
Speaker 2 2013,
Speaker 2 21 and 22.
Speaker 2 They won in 21 and 22? Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 2 Y'all won six titles. Thank you.
Speaker 18 I told you.
Speaker 2
Oh, yo. I said five.
He said seven. We split in the middle.
Nah.
Speaker 18 I knew what it was. I was just off by one.
Speaker 2 I was off by one. You do realize five is one away from six.
Speaker 18 Yeah, I understand what you're saying. I'm just saying you were trying to make it seem like we were so sorry.
Speaker 2
First of all, you were over. So you'd have got out of one because I was under.
You was over.
Speaker 2 You ever played the Prices Right?
Speaker 18 And that's the one where you spin the wheel, right?
Speaker 2 Yes.
Speaker 18 Yeah, I like that game.
Speaker 18 Yeah.
Speaker 18 No, I'm thinking about Wheel of Fortune.
Speaker 2 Wheel Wheel of Fortune, you spend the wheel around. The price of right also have one where you try to get closest to a dollar without going over.
Speaker 18 Right, right. Okay, I got you.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I grew up on
Speaker 2
the Wheel of Fortune. Wheel of Fortune used to let you buy prizes.
You could buy prizes. They have bedroom suit.
They have living room furniture. They have patio furniture.
So you could buy it.
Speaker 2 And once you buy it, once you buy a prize, people don't realize this. Pat Sajak was not the original host of Wheel of Fortune.
Speaker 2 Chuck William was.
Speaker 2 He got into a contract dispute with
Speaker 2 so people just think, and he was also, Chuck Willard was also on the Newlyware game.
Speaker 2 Game shows used to cover game shows were where there was no game show network. So all the stuff, you know, Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, all that other stuff,
Speaker 2 the dating game,
Speaker 2 to tell the truth.
Speaker 2 Is he up? We could go. Okay.
Speaker 2 I'll go to his next topic, Dak.
Speaker 2 You want to go to Dak or just?
Speaker 2 Dak Prescott said he can sympathize with fans who are frustrated about the recent Jerry Jones quote in the Wall Street Journal.
Speaker 2 Jerry said there's a hundred billion dollar present value with natural gas out there. That's why I'm talking to you on the telephone rather than trying to fix our defense with the Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 2
Dak responded today. I don't know the full context of it.
I do know a piece of it. But being a fan, and you just hear or just read that, yeah, of course, that can definitely be frustrating.
Speaker 2 Oh, Cho, Jerry said, he got big, he said he thinks about the 100 million
Speaker 2 billion.
Speaker 2 So now y'all can see, y'all can stop talking about Shannon hating on the Cowboys. Jerry don't care about winning.
Speaker 18 Well, he never did.
Speaker 2 Jerry never cared about winning.
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 2
So now he told you what on his mind. He just told you.
He laid it out.
Speaker 2
So can y'all stop? Oh, Jerry. No, Jerry don't care about winning.
Jerry care about making money. Because Jerry can make money without winning.
Speaker 16 All right.
Speaker 2 Of course, Dak is frustrated. Dak said, I'm going out here busting my butt, and you don't care about that.
Speaker 2 You told me you care about this $100 billion natural gas thing that you could possibly get your seat, your teeth in.
Speaker 18 Just like the players, huh? Just like the players, The player, hey, the players about their what? What's the what's the bottom line? To make as much what
Speaker 18 money. Hey, something for a the owner's the same way.
Speaker 2 But let me ask you a question: if a player, if a player said, man, I don't care nothing about no winning, I'll care about this, I care about this $200 million that I got. What would the fans say?
Speaker 18 Snap, they'd go crazy.
Speaker 2 Okay, then Jerry Jones just said the exact same thing.
Speaker 2 He said, I'm concerned about this $100 billion and ain't worried about fixing no defense. That's what he's saying.
Speaker 18 He wasn't worried about the past 30 years.
Speaker 2 Hell no.
Speaker 18 Hey, Jerry run that thing.
Speaker 18 When you talk about somebody that's going to do things his way, no matter what nobody say,
Speaker 2 boy,
Speaker 18 he's the epitome of doing just that. And he don't care.
Speaker 2
Dak said, but in that sense, I would say the guy's never really lied about who or what he's trying to do. Hopefully, he he was talking about it in a particular moment.
Maybe in those five minutes,
Speaker 2
he was alluding, having a chance at a $100 billion opportunity. And I think he might take five minutes as well to answer and call.
Hopefully,
Speaker 2 that's what he means.
Speaker 2 But I can see how it can be fucked up.
Speaker 18 I mean, obviously, Dak is face of the franchise. He has to say all the right things.
Speaker 18 In the back of his mind, he knows what it is.
Speaker 18 Other football.
Speaker 18 Yeah, anyone else that heard these comments, they know what it is. Jerry Jones has showed us what the bottom line is with him and what it's always been.
Speaker 18 He's doing
Speaker 18 just enough to keep you happy, doing just enough to keep you interested. And every year,
Speaker 18 damn, he fooled us again.
Speaker 2 Damn.
Speaker 2
I just wonder what the fan base would say. If a player said the exact same thing.
Let's just say, Ocho, he had an opportunity to make $200,
Speaker 2
$300 million dollars off the field. He said, man, I ain't really worried about no offense.
Man, I got an opportunity to make $350 million off the field.
Speaker 2 They're killing.
Speaker 18 They're killing. But listen, you know,
Speaker 18 when you're in certain positions of power, you know, you play by a different set of rules.
Speaker 18
The things Jerry can say and get away with, even though people will scrutinize him for it. And there's certain things that players just can't do.
You just can't do it.
Speaker 2 True.
Speaker 18 You can't do it. it's all about being self-aware it's all about self-awareness
Speaker 17 there ain't no consequences no not for him absolutely not who the hell
Speaker 18 speaking the consequences who gonna do something
Speaker 2 no i'm just saying i mean but look but the fans gonna still go because oh we got a chance to win not with that guy
Speaker 2 You don't care about winning. What makes Jerry doesn't care about winning because each owner is going to get a property check cut this March for 400 million four
Speaker 2 it was three plus last year
Speaker 2 it's gonna be 400 this year now that's just the that's just from the TV deals that ain't local that's not local advertising that's not local TV that's not parking that's not concession that's not he has his own merchandise deal
Speaker 2 so
Speaker 18 hey Jerry got that 50
Speaker 2 Jerry makes double what Whatever you think
Speaker 2 the most profitable as far as merchandising and all that stuff is, Jerry does double.
Speaker 2 And the only time Jerry sees the Subo when he's in attendance.
Speaker 17 That's crazy.
Speaker 2
Oh, Joe, we got a special guest joining us. Iceware Vezzo.
Bro, what's going on?
Speaker 16 What up, though? What is dude, big homie? How you feeling? Man, I'm good.
Speaker 2 I'm good.
Speaker 2
EP dropped today, Purple Passion. Tell us a little about the song.
Tell us a little about
Speaker 2 the EP.
Speaker 16
Man, you know, so you know, I'm from Detroit. I'm from six miles from the east side.
You know, we got our own sound in Detroit. You heard?
Speaker 16
And I pushed, I created a whole new sound for the world to rock with. So I just kind of wanted to switch it up on this joint.
You know what I'm saying? And just have some fun with it.
Speaker 16
My homie June James from Houston, he produced the whole tape. So, bro, just like, bro, let's talk that Detroit Uw.
You know what I'm saying? On these down south beats and see what we do. You heard?
Speaker 16 So, yeah, we put it together, man.
Speaker 2
Hold on. Gucci Man say, once a rapper becomes a podcaster, it means they fell off.
You have your own podcast, bro.
Speaker 2 You ain't falling off, are you?
Speaker 16 Hell no, I ain't falling off. I got to take my glasses off of this.
Speaker 16
First off, I rock with Gucci. You know, I got real love for Gucci.
You heard? Like, just for everything he did for the culture, homes really motivated me. You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 16
But where I'm from, I'm from the trenches, bro. We don't never tell no man or woman to not go get no money.
You heard? So
Speaker 16 it ain't no one way to chase a billion dollars or a hundred million dollars. If you're chasing $50,
Speaker 16
you don't got to do just one way. It ain't no one way to it.
I lived how I live. My life is my life.
I am. I am.
I'm not what I used to be, but I am what I am now. You heard?
Speaker 16
And that can't be taken away from me. So no, I don't mean nobody fell off.
It means we smurned up. We got wise.
And we sinked another lane. We sinked another avenue.
Speaker 16 And we decided to take advantage of that. You know what I'm saying? I would never in my life tell nobody to not go get no money.
Speaker 16
Ain't nobody bigger than the program to say what's what, you know, what, what, what, what bag is cool and what bag ain't cool. I used to sell drugs, brother.
You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 16 I ain't proud of that and I don't got to do that no more because brothers like y'all created a lane for people to speak their mind and you know have open discussions and respectful disagreements and debate and just talk and just kicking and vibe for the whole world to be able to do that.
Speaker 16 So you know, no, when guys like y'all open that door, man, we're going to walk right, we're going to walk right through it. Gucci motivated me to want to write a book, too.
Speaker 16 You know, I grew up with guys. I got homies in my circle
Speaker 16 that'll look at that like we're writing a diary. You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 16
It ain't no way for motherfucking look at anything that you do and feel away about it. It ain't about that.
Ain't nobody taking care of my family but me.
Speaker 16 I put a roof over my wife's head, over my children's head, and I'm going to continue to do that. I don't give a fuck if I got 100.
Speaker 16 hustles we're going to get money i might start selling t-shirts i might get a food truck ain't nothing stopping this man listen to everybody listen get that paper get that get that paper Don't let nobody tell you what's cool and what ain't cool when it comes to getting money.
Speaker 16
Only money that ain't cool is drug money. We know that on NWL.
So we ain't doing that. You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 2 I like that.
Speaker 16 But shout out to Gucci, and I got real love for bro.
Speaker 18
Hey, Icewell, Icewell. When it came to putting this project together, man, I listened to it earlier, man.
Some of the songs, you know, Tesla Heavy Metal, High Fashion, Having My Way.
Speaker 18 How long does it take for you to finish a project? You know, a year, six months? Like, what's the project?
Speaker 16 So, like,
Speaker 16 it'll take me like i say and not not they over exaggerated or try to sound too sweet about the but literally like two weeks so but it've been times where it'll take me two weeks to do one song or four or five hours to do one song and when i find a pocket and when i find a bag where i can go in the studio hear a beat and record a song in 15 to 20 minutes then i know i'm having fun with the shit i know there's something i need to continue doing and this was working so every song that i put on that project was songs that i made within the span span of 15 to 30 minutes you know what i'm saying and again i got songs that took me way longer to make but i never really put those songs out you heard
Speaker 2 so
Speaker 2 two weeks
Speaker 2 it's interesting you say that so let me ask you a question so how do you do you write down on paper or do you need to go in there and hear the beat and then you have an idea of kind of where you go where you want to go and you let the beat take you in the direction ultimately where you go Exactly, because I feel like if I got a right to it, then it ain't really, it ain't really a pocket I need to be in right now.
Speaker 16 I think the music just talked to you. You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 16
It talked to you. You heard? And as soon as you hear certain shit, everything just starts coming to your mind.
And you just go and say it.
Speaker 16
I don't write, but I don't completely freestyle. Like I say a couple bars, sit, think on it, say another couple bars, pause, and just play it like that.
You heard?
Speaker 2 Let me ask you,
Speaker 2
how far is six mile from eight mile? Because we know M, great Detroit rapper, is from eight mile. You from six miles.
So how far apart are you guys?
Speaker 16 Literally two miles apart.
Speaker 2 Really? Literally.
Speaker 16 Yeah,
Speaker 16 two miles apart. You know what's crazy?
Speaker 16
Me and M went, he went to Osbourne for a minute. That's the same high school I went to.
We didn't go at the same time, obviously. And I grew up on Sanford and Bradford.
Speaker 16
And I believe the house on Eminem first album is the house that he grew up in. That's on Bradford as well.
So he claimed eight miles, but he grew up in my neighborhood as well.
Speaker 16
And that's how he met Big Proof and all them guys. They all went to Osborne High School.
That's the same school I went to, you heard?
Speaker 16 In front of trenches for real, though.
Speaker 16 Take that away from that white boy, man. One thing about it, he really from, where he from, you heard?
Speaker 2
You have really involved. You're really involved in the community.
Detroit, you have a local juice bar with your family. How did you, let me, you mentioned earlier about the hustles.
You know,
Speaker 2 you had a past.
Speaker 16 It ain't cool to have a juice bar, man. You forgot.
Speaker 2 Huh?
Speaker 16 It ain't cool to have a juice bar. That means you fell off.
Speaker 2 come on man damn
Speaker 2 you dragging it hey man i swear you dragging it down
Speaker 16 i'm talking bro what you know
Speaker 2 but
Speaker 2 how did how do you decide because you mentioned earlier you had a past you're not proud of you graduated you moved on from that so how do you decide what hustles that you're going to become involved with It was one point when I was 24 years old, I bought a restaurant, I bought a car wash, and I bought a dispensary at the age of 24.
Speaker 16 when i bought when i bought this for one i bought it with the wrong kind of you heard we ain't got to go there but i bought it for the wrong reasons i bought it just to say i got a restaurant
Speaker 16 yeah i know it wasn't even about legit it was trying to look cool and flex on the people in my community not flex with them but flex on them you heard i got it for the wrong reason it crumbled and i learned from that First and foremost, you know, that's when I decided ain't no point in me shining on my own my folks.
Speaker 16 You know, we got to lift the community up and shine with them and do more for them so they can have these opportunities you heard but like right now what i really learned from that is i don't involve myself in no business that i ain't got that i can't find any type emotional connection to it or mental connection to it and every time i do a business that i can find some type of connection to they win but when i do business it's for the wrong reasons like the other shit that i had prior going to prison it all it never worked so i decided from from jail anything any business that i do, I want to have some type of connection to it, mentally or emotionally.
Speaker 16 So the juice bars, the final thing I got from my old lady. You heard? So yeah.
Speaker 16 That's how I decide. Just having some type of connection to it.
Speaker 2
You collaborated with the baby, Lil Baby, Kodak Black. So how did, how did what goes into a collab? So how do you like, okay, I got an idea that I think this guy would sound good.
I got an idea.
Speaker 2 I think that. So how do you go about picking people who you're going to collab with on your projects?
Speaker 16 Most of the, well, pretty much all the collaborations I got, just like
Speaker 16 from relationships that we built. You know what I'm saying? Just moving around with guys or we linking up and we build for a couple weeks.
Speaker 16 We might even build for a year, just, you know, get to know each other on some type of personal level. Not too personal, but just enough, you know what I'm saying? So
Speaker 16 the songs becoming organic. We either be in the studio, I make some shit and they get on it, or, you know, like you say, like, I got a song called Up the Scope featuring Lil Dirk.
Speaker 16
Soon as I did that song, everybody in the studio like, bro, you got to put smirk on it. And I sent it to Smirk.
He did the verse and he sent it right back. You heard? So, yeah.
Speaker 18 Hey, is it difficult
Speaker 18 when you have a collab and you need an artist
Speaker 18 to send their verse in and they take too long?
Speaker 16 I mean, when it's shit free, you can't really complain.
Speaker 2 You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 16 If them dudes bless me with a free verse, I ain't got no complaints. You know what I mean? But even if I did pay, I understand everybody got stuff going on.
Speaker 16 It's times that I've took too long doing a lot of stuff, you know, whether it's for myself, my wife, my kids, my family, or other artists sending them verse.
Speaker 16 And it don't be nothing, you know, that I'm stalling out on. I'm just handling other shit and my mind might be occupied on other things.
Speaker 16 So I think it's important that we learn to have patience with each other.
Speaker 16 you know as a community first and foremost it's just you know overall as artists and and co-workers we got to have patience and you know hope for the best and if somebody don't send a song all is well, you know, it ain't no love lost.
Speaker 2 Wow.
Speaker 2 You lost your own record company,
Speaker 2 iced up records.
Speaker 2
How is it, okay, you own the label, but you got a creative side. So, you know, you got to create on your own, but then when you hire people, you got a business side.
So, you know,
Speaker 2
friends is one thing. Business is another thing.
And a creative aspect is something entirely different. How do you do such a great job of balancing all that out?
Speaker 16
I established that with the people that I do business with. That business is business.
Friendship is friendship. And being an artist is being an artist.
I rap as well and I own this label.
Speaker 16 So it's going to be times where I got to focus on myself. But the same type of focus that I put in myself,
Speaker 16
I put it into them just as well. But I think communication is everything.
You know, communication is key. You know, so.
Speaker 16 Yeah, just basically establishing that up front. You heard? Like, check this out.
Speaker 16 You my homie or or you may not be my homie whatever the case is when we handling business let's keep it business let's do business and as friends and as homies this shit should never mix be mixed up with each other and a lot of times it goes south you know when you do business with your homies but sometimes it work it work well you heard but yeah I think just communicating that up front
Speaker 2 Has it been difficult? Have you lost friends because you mixed friendship and business?
Speaker 16
Absolutely. I lost a lot of friends because of that.
Trying to help people.
Speaker 16 you know you can't help everybody i've been got that understood my mama told me that but i'm hard-headed so i keep trying you know
Speaker 2 so
Speaker 2 detroit your lions are looking good is this the year the lions get to the super bowl and potentially win it without a doubt we win it we got this

Speaker 16

Speaker 2

Congratulations on turning your life around because you realized the path that you was going on.
Speaker 2 However, you had to learn the easy way or the hard way but you figured it out and you're doing something positive in community and i want to say one black man to another i'm proud of you man congratulations on all your success keep keep your head down in the straight and narrow and good luck uh on every all the projects that you have coming after this best of luck bro Thank you, bro.

Speaker 2 Icewear Vez, a
Speaker 2 purple passion. It dropped today.
Speaker 2 Hey,
Speaker 2 go check him out.
Speaker 16
Check it out. Appreciate you, bro.
Love.
Speaker 2 All right.
Speaker 2 He said Detroit's going to do it, don't you? Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 18
Hey, hey, huh? Listen, I got common sense, and I got eyes. And I told you what I'm going to do from now on.
I'm not betting with my heart no more.
Speaker 18 I'm not talking football, the game of football in general, with my heart.
Speaker 18 I'm using my logic, I'm using my eyes, I'm using what I've known and come to understand and play in this game since I was four years old. Detroit is very, very good to a point where
Speaker 18 it's almost there at an advantage because of what they have on both sides of the ball. So if there's a team that has the strength, if they stay healthy,
Speaker 18 they go to the
Speaker 18 chip,
Speaker 18 it's the goddamn Detroit Lions. But they do have one team standing in any way.
Speaker 2 The Eagles.
Speaker 18 You got one team standing in their way. That is the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 2 Do Detroit play Philadelphia this year?
Speaker 2 November?
Speaker 2 Detroit plays Philly in Philly on November 16th.
Speaker 16 Ooh, that's right around the corner.
Speaker 18 That's right around the corner. That's going to be
Speaker 18 some fireworks there.
Speaker 2 Oh, Cho, we got some news that you might like. According to
Speaker 2 the Rings, Mike Cobbinger, Mayweather, and Pacquiao are in talks for a potential rematch in 2026. The fight is reportedly being explored as another Netflix boxing event.
Speaker 2 Mayweather-Pacquiao met for the first time in 2015 in a fight that is headlined as the highest-grossing pay-per-view in boxing history at the time.
Speaker 2 Mayweather won the fight by unanimous decision, but many believe the fight went down much later in their careers than it should have.
Speaker 2 It was announced last month that Mayweather and heavyweight legend Mike Tyson agreed to an exhibition fight in the spring of 2026.
Speaker 2 So the rematch against Pacquiao would be another big money fight for the 48-year-old Floyd Mayweather, right?
Speaker 2 Mayweather's 48, right? Or Pacquiao?
Speaker 2 Oh, Joe, would you like to see an older version of Mayweather Pacquiao 2 in 2020?
Speaker 18 Older version, younger version,
Speaker 18 any version, any version of Floyd being back in the ring and actually fighting someone like Manny Pacquiao, even though I know they're older, it's still going to be exciting.
Speaker 18 We just watched, we watched Pacquiao not too long ago.
Speaker 2 Ain't nothing Pacquiao.
Speaker 18
He move around just fine. He's still bouncing.
He's still bouncing, still throwing, still sticking and jabbing and getting in and coming out, you know, doing what he does. I would like to see it.
Speaker 18
I understand one thing. Mandy Pacquiao wants his get back.
If they are to fight again, he's going to get in there and actually fight as opposed to some of the exhibitions that we've been seeing.
Speaker 18 So I think it's interesting
Speaker 18 to see those two go at it again.
Speaker 1 And
Speaker 18
why not? There probably will be people that's like, oh, we don't want to see them. They're old.
Well, listen, it's the month of November.
Speaker 18
Don't worry. It's the month of November.
You know, it's the month of November. There are some great fights that are coming up this month.
Some really good fights that are coming up.
Speaker 18
And you got plenty of time. And when this is entertainment purposes only, Netflix, Mayweather, Tyson, Mayweather, Pacquiao.
And listen, people are going to say, oh, I don't want to see that.
Speaker 18
I don't want it. People are going to watch.
Everybody's going to watch. You might not be watching, but everybody else will.
Because those two individuals are a draw.
Speaker 16 Floyd Method,
Speaker 18 Floyd Floyd Mayweather is still a draw, no matter what you say.
Speaker 2
Yeah, look, you're going to make that kind of money. They probably make $20, $30 million.
Where else are you going to make $20, $30 million?
Speaker 2 Man,
Speaker 18 nowhere.
Speaker 2 Nowhere. So I don't regret the guy can make an honest hustle.
Speaker 2 Look,
Speaker 2 I don't know if this is an exhibition fight, if it grows against one of their records or whatever the case may be.
Speaker 18 Hey, if it's not an exhibition and it goes against the the record, well, you know, Floyd finna come out there, man. Floyd ain't playing that, he is not losing that zero.
Speaker 2 Yeah,
Speaker 2 um,
Speaker 2 I think, look, I
Speaker 2 think, like I said, in the situation you see the money being tossed around with these exhibition fights, Floyd, like, what the hell? Hey, let, let, hey, Mandy, let's do part two.
Speaker 18 Hey, get a bag.
Speaker 18 The highest, the highest
Speaker 2 and Netflix like live, Netflix like live events.
Speaker 2 They're coming
Speaker 2 I am not going to be surprised. I think don't they got don't they got football? Don't Netflix got NFL football this year like Christmas Day games or something
Speaker 2 Okay, yeah, but they're gonna have a package it ain't gonna just be you know the a
Speaker 2 I wouldn't be surprised you start seeing Sunday games on Netflix and Amazon You know, I know Amazon got the Thursday package.
Speaker 2 I know they got the the Friday, the Black Friday game, but I would not be be surprised if Netflix end up getting a package where they have six, seven, eight games
Speaker 2 in a season.
Speaker 2 But no, I agree with you, OJ. I ate.
Speaker 2 I'll be right there.
Speaker 2 I'll be right there watching it. All right.
Speaker 2
We got it's time to play or fade. How do we do last? How do we do tonight? I don't think Bateman got them yet.
Bateman.
Speaker 2 Here's the pick for a flex play ahead of tomorrow's NBA slate.
Speaker 2 Jalen Brown, less than four and a half assists versus the Sixers. No, I think you have five assists.
Speaker 2 I gave him five. Tyrese Maxie, more than 36 and a half combined points and assists.
Speaker 2 Man,
Speaker 2 he's going over that.
Speaker 2 He's been going crazy.
Speaker 18 Who are they playing on?
Speaker 2 The Sixers played the Celtics.
Speaker 2 Him and BJ Excom.
Speaker 18 Hey, that's the rookie.
Speaker 2 Nice.
Speaker 2 Yeah,
Speaker 2 real nice. Quentin Grimes off the bench doing really.
Speaker 2 Devin Booker, more than three and a half rebounds versus the Jazz. Yep.
Speaker 2 Yep. We're going to have four.
Speaker 2
Laurie Marketing, more than 24 and a half points versus the Sun. He dropped 50 the first time somebody dropped 50 in a game for Jazz.
Nah.
Speaker 2 Donovan.
Speaker 2 Donovan dropped 50.
Speaker 18 Donovan Mitchell.
Speaker 2 They said
Speaker 2 he was the first.
Speaker 2 They said the other night that he was the first to drop 50.
Speaker 2 Laurie Marketing since Carl Malone. But did Donovan drop those 50s 50s in the playoffs?
Speaker 2 Yeah, because I know he dropped what 57 in the playoffs. When him and
Speaker 2 who are they going back and forth with? The Nuggets. That's when him and
Speaker 2 what's the guard from the Nuggets? Jamal.
Speaker 2 Murray
Speaker 2 was going back and forth. They both had 50 head-to-head, and
Speaker 2 Mitch dropped 57 one game.
Speaker 18 57?
Speaker 18 Donald Mitchell had 71 in his bones, didn't he?
Speaker 2 Yes, what I think. No, but he was at Cleveland when he did that.
Speaker 2 That's what he did. He did that against Cleveland.
Speaker 2 Yeah, because he broke LeBron's, because LeBron had like 57, 58, something like that.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2
Yep, so I'm taking Larry marketing to go more than 24 and a half points versus the Sun. $25 to win $150.
Download the app today. Use code Shannon.
Speaker 2 That's Code Shannon to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. It's good to be right.
Speaker 2 All right.
Speaker 2
Time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q.
And hey.
Speaker 2 Hey.
Speaker 2 Jeremy.
Speaker 18 I ain't had one of these knife like this in a long time, bro. I mean, you.
Speaker 2 What kind of night?
Speaker 18 Well, I'm hurting.
Speaker 18 You know, you know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2 Yeah. Hey, hey,
Speaker 16 I'm fighting for my life.
Speaker 2 We're about to get out of here at at this one. Hey, I haven't
Speaker 18 had any lights in a long time.
Speaker 2 Hey, so you ain't see?
Speaker 2 That one thing I could do. Uncle Go
Speaker 2 like a truck on Red Bull all night.
Speaker 18 It's different for you because
Speaker 18
you on the other side of the world. You got to remember.
Remember, I'll be asleep by 9.30.
Speaker 2 Oh, Joe, I'm up at 7. I'm up at 5.
Speaker 2 Oh, Joe, you do realize, you do realize what time 7 is?
Speaker 2 And I'm gonna go to bed till like midnight.
Speaker 18
Okay, yeah, but I've been good, though. I've been good, though.
This is the first, this is my first time in a long time. Or I was fighting, boy.
Speaker 2
JJ said, Uncle tried to tell him about them guppies. I did.
JJ, I tried to tell about them.
Speaker 16 Hold on, hold on.
Speaker 18
Yo, y'all, y'all get on the dog now. Y'all get on my dog.
You understand the issues we're having right now, man. That's that's why we didn't stand a chance tonight.
Speaker 2 They're not our issues.
Speaker 2 Hey, say, go ahead ahead and send Lilo and Stitch, unadopted, unappealing stepbrothers to the bench and put yours in. Season is a wash.
Speaker 18
There y'all go. There y'all got now.
Now, when y'all, now, listen, I want y'all to keep the same. I didn't already apologize too.
Speaker 18
And no, we had a friendly banter back and forth. I didn't say anything negative.
I wasn't malicious. I just said the Dolphins were going to win.
I said everything in a respectful way.
Speaker 18 Say, see how you got the Ravens fan being nasty after I didn't apologize?
Speaker 16 All right.
Speaker 18 Keep that same energy now. Keep that same energy.
Speaker 2 We did. I tried to tell you.
Speaker 16 All right.
Speaker 18 Who y'all got next coming out the back?
Speaker 2 Don't worry about, don't you worry about who we got.
Speaker 16 Okay.
Speaker 18 Play like a raven, huh?
Speaker 2 In the words of Edgar Allan Poe.
Speaker 2 Baba Patel, Dolphins really went from tank for tour to tank with tour.
Speaker 2 And then,
Speaker 2 ocho got to start betting with intelligence and have the guts to pay.
Speaker 2
Don't think we forgot the 5,900, Ocho. Not paying up says a lot about someone.
It does, David. Says he hadn't paid me yet.
Speaker 2 But he's going to say, but you know, you see who they do to see how they do you? It'll be your own people.
Speaker 18 I told you, one thing about our own people, this is the good thing about it, though. You got to understand, as long as I owe you, you'll never be broke.
Speaker 2 But, okay, as long as you owe Alaska, he'll never be broke. But you're going to send him hit brains.
Speaker 2 Biddy HD says, What does Lamar need to do to get a statue next one to Ray?
Speaker 2 This team is depending on him just like they depended on Ray's greeting from Germany.
Speaker 2 He got a winter championship.
Speaker 2 Ray is a two-time, a two-time Super Bowl champ.
Speaker 2 He's a Super Bowl MVP, a two-time defensive player of the year. Hey,
Speaker 2 that's what gives you a statue.
Speaker 18 If Lamar gets a trophy.
Speaker 2 Yes, he gets a statue.
Speaker 18
He gets a statue there in Baltimore. He gets a statue at Boynton Beach High School.
They better put a goddamn statue of Lamar Jackson at Miami International Airport.
Speaker 2 They probably gonna got one.
Speaker 2 Don't they got some in Louisville? Oh, probably.
Speaker 18 They better have one there, too.
Speaker 16 I'm talking about life size.
Speaker 2
Well, I mean, it's probably gonna be a little bigger than life size on Ocho. You do realize a statue that's life-size ain't that big.
My bad. You know that.
Speaker 2 Okay.
Speaker 2 Oh, Lagarde, Love Spurs basketball 5-0.
Speaker 2 Porvita GSG for life.
Speaker 2
Whatever that means, bro. I'm sorry.
I don't understand. But yes, you guys are playing well.
I guess Wimby had another game. Triple H's come Saturday at this point.
Speaker 2 Needs to make words my 5900 Ocho merch.
Speaker 2 This year is almost over, and it seems like, ain't never getting to $5,900. I ain't.
Speaker 2 You know, I'll put it. What you call them? I'm going to have to put a
Speaker 2
credit thing on that. What's that? I'm going to send it to credit.
What's that?
Speaker 18 Credit who? Credit card?
Speaker 2
Nope. I'm going to send it to the credit.
Put Dingo credit.
Speaker 18 Okay. Okay.
Speaker 18 Listen, my score dropped a little bit, but I get it back up.
Speaker 2 A lot of bit.
Speaker 2 DeMonte Williams said, find Ocho a game check with interest.
Speaker 2 Rude Boy217 said, Oh, Don Ocho, would it make sense? AJ Brown and a
Speaker 2
2026 second-round pick for TJ Watt. Both salaries are close.
It will be a win for both sides. Philly trades another wide out who's consistent but not a star.
A-Rod, AJ, and DK.
Speaker 16 Consistent but not a star, huh?
Speaker 16 You wrote that.
Speaker 2 That's what he said. I ain't say that.
Speaker 18 Did he say consistent, but not a star?
Speaker 2 That's what he said.
Speaker 18 You see what I mean?
Speaker 18 See what I mean?
Speaker 18
Now you see why he complained about getting the ball. Because now here you go talk about AJ Brown ain't no goddamn star because of his lack of production.
This is what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2 This type, this is why he's arguing.
Speaker 18 This is why he's reading the goddamn book on the sideline.
Speaker 2 Yeah, the chat say i uh send it to collections that's what i'm gonna send it collections
Speaker 2 air jones says uh give a realistic trade three first round picks and maybe to kobe dean if it's a joke first round otherwise we keep what we have and keep going
Speaker 2
Philly talk PA said, please read the New York Times article about AJ that dropped today. He's connected his tweets to a mental health importance.
Shefty already said AJ is not going going anywhere.
Speaker 2 Jalen Carter isn't going anywhere either. Yeah, you say that, but let Cleveland Brown say, We'll give you Miles Garrett, and they'll get off either one of those guys.
Speaker 18 I don't think people, I don't think fans understand all the Adam Sheffield is saying the player's not going to wear, or owner saying the player is not going to wear.
Speaker 18 That means nothing when it comes down to conducting business.
Speaker 2 So let me get this.
Speaker 2 So let me get this right.
Speaker 2 You and I can agree on this.
Speaker 2 Cleveland Brown says, look, we want three first-round picks or two first-round picks, a second-round pick, and we want A.J. Brown or Jalen Carter.
Speaker 2 You mean to tell me the Philadelphia is going to say no?
Speaker 2 You're going to get a guy that's the premier pass rusher at his position, and he's not 30.
Speaker 2 Man, y'all just be talking to talk.
Speaker 2 They'll get off either one of those flares for an opportunity to get Miles Garrett.
Speaker 16 yeah
Speaker 2 miles garretts don't drunk go on trees
Speaker 2 i think aj brown so let me ask you a question you think it's harder to find an aj brown or a miles garrett
Speaker 2 exactly
Speaker 2 moving right along uh earl turan said listen to ocho prime did it unknow they need you They would listen to you, Shannon, and you would adjust once you see success.
Speaker 2 Unk's leadership brought the Ravens a Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 You heard what he said, Ocho.
Speaker 18 All right, well, hey, listen, take that leadership over to LSU. Take it down.
Speaker 2 Absolutely not.
Speaker 2 No,
Speaker 2 I gotta have this leadership in Shea Shea Media. Who's gonna run Shea Shea Media if I'm gone?
Speaker 18 Cash, Jordan.
Speaker 18 You know what's funny? The people at LSU.
Speaker 2 Well, it's kind of hard to run Shea Shea Media without Shea.
Speaker 18 Let me tell you something. The people from LSU,
Speaker 18
they're gonna see this. They're gonna see these clips, and I guarantee you get a call in about two days.
Watch.
Speaker 2 I changed my number.
Speaker 18 Oh, they know how to get in touch with you. Don't worry about that.
Speaker 2 They got to go through Shelly, and Shelly ain't sending me no info about no coaching. Shakur said this should be the rule having to sell your consistently bad.
Speaker 2 Why team if you're not trying to win and they're already billionaires?
Speaker 2 Because
Speaker 2 once you get one billion, what are you trying to do, Ocho? Get two. If you get two, you're trying to get more.
Speaker 18 Yeah, so basically.
Speaker 2 Let me ask you a question. How much is Elon
Speaker 2 Musk worth now? $500 billion?
Speaker 2 I think it was like $500 billion. Didn't I see $475, $500 billion?
Speaker 2 He ain't stopped.
Speaker 18 I mean, me and Elon Musk.
Speaker 2 $500.2? He worth $500, a half a trillion dollars. You think Elon Musk ain't trying to get to $600, $700?
Speaker 18 Hey, that's crazy when you think about it, huh?
Speaker 2 What's that?
Speaker 18 I mean, me and Elon Musk, but we
Speaker 18 are estimated net worth about the same.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 2 Y'all estimated net worth is worth 500.6 billion.
Speaker 2 Man, I can't even imagine. I can't, my bad would rap on, KD rapper can't even fathom 500 million.
Speaker 18 I have $500 million.
Speaker 18 I'll tell you where you can find me.
Speaker 18 I'll tell you where you can find me. I'm going to be on the island.
Speaker 2 You couldn't.
Speaker 18 Oh, they're not going be able to find you
Speaker 18 nah listen i'll be in the bahamas somewhere i have me a nice house built i'm taking my kids i'm taking all my kids i'm getting custody we're gonna be at the everybody gonna be homeschooled
Speaker 18 i'm gonna have the the nicest game room ever i'm gonna do i'm still gonna do i'm still gonna do nightcap i'm still i don't care how much money i get i'm still gonna do nightcap Because the people deserve that.
Speaker 18 They deserve the laughs and the fun and the entertainment. Yeah.
Speaker 18 I'm a game all day. That's it.
Speaker 2 Man.
Speaker 2 Osh.
Speaker 2 Miguel Ortiz. Which runner-up is more snubbed on winning an actual MVP? Joker losing to Embiid or Lamar losing to Allen?
Speaker 2 I think Lamar losing to Allen.
Speaker 18 Yep,
Speaker 18 as great as Josh Allen played last year. I mean, Lamar having that source.
Speaker 2 I thought Lamar had a better season.
Speaker 18 That was crazy.
Speaker 2 I mean, 40-plus touchdowns. What did he have? Four interviews? Only four, yeah.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I think he only had six total turnovers. I think he fumbled.
Speaker 2 Yeah, for me,
Speaker 2 and I thought, you know, the year Joe LMB won, I thought Jokic deserved it, but, or earned it. But Lamar last year, I was shocked.
Speaker 2 Frank Tank, 921, Ocho, what do you think about Unk being an accountability coach?
Speaker 16 I like it.
Speaker 18 I like it.
Speaker 18 That's a good one. That's a good one.
Speaker 18 That's all the more reason why he should coach at LSU because he can instill and install all those great qualities that he displays not only here, but in life, you know, on those players.
Speaker 2 Timothy Humphrey, nobody wants to see Floyd versus Pacquiao Clown Show. I'd rather see Ocho versus James.
Speaker 16 Oh, you're going to see it.
Speaker 2 Well, hell, that might be the same.
Speaker 18
Yeah, you're going to see it. Hey, hey, Devo, I hope you see this.
I'm going gonna punch in your face, boy.
Speaker 2 Huh?
Speaker 18 Matter of fact,
Speaker 18 I'm gonna hit you so hard.
Speaker 18 I'm gonna hit you so hard.
Speaker 18 That's it. I'm gonna hit you so hard.
Speaker 2 Illy L said, oh,
Speaker 2
you gotta hold Ocho's check. His nightcap logo is never lit, and it's plain black.
It's plain back there.
Speaker 2 now you can't see it.
Speaker 18 Hey, now you understand why it's not lit, nosy ass
Speaker 2
saucy D say is it time for Philly to move on from Joel with the way he's backcourt if that knee won't ever be the same. No, it's never gonna be the same.
They've gone in it too many times.
Speaker 2 No, it's never gonna be the same. No, not.
Speaker 2 If they try to protect him, they got a lot of money tied up in it, man. I mean, Daryl Murray gave him a contract when he didn't have to.
Speaker 2 He still probably got almost $200 million left on that contract.
Speaker 2 I mean, if he can't get on the court for Philly, where is he going to get on the court at? Because at the end of the day, it's still basketball.
Speaker 2 You still have to run up and down the hardwood and you still play 82 games.
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 2 Philly finds himself in a conundrum.
Speaker 2 That concludes this episode of Nightcap. The Baltimore Ravens moved moved to 3-5 thanks to a 28-6 victory over the Guppies who fall to 2-7.
Speaker 2
Lamar Jackson, 18 of 23, 204 yards, 4 touchdown passes, no interceptions. Tua was 25 of 40, 0 touchdowns, 1 interceptions, and they had two fumbles.
So the Dolphins turned the ball over three times.
Speaker 2 The Ravens played a clean ball game.
