Speaker 11 The Patriots look awful impressive. They beat the Jets

Speaker 11 27-14.

Speaker 11 I don't know. They looked impressive.
The Jets aren't good, but the Patriots look good.

Speaker 11 I mean, those first couple drives, yeah drake may was with brady-esque i'm talking about yes he was nice stephon diggs

Speaker 11 and reinvigorated he looks good trayvion henderson is running extremely hard uh two three two touchdowns on the ground one in the air drake may 25 of 34 281 one touchdowns i thought overall i thought they played well uh

Speaker 11 but

Speaker 11 let let's before we get to the jets let's highlight the patriots ojo

Speaker 18 yeah okay okay mike brabel has done an unbelievable job you go i'm gonna let you go ahead hell of a job hell of a job listen mike rabel i'm not sure what he did once he got there but he's done one hell of a job obviously it makes things much easier when you have a quarterback that's playing out his mind and only his second year in drake may

Speaker 18 in the division they three and oh obviously the talk has always been the super they're supposed to go to the super bowl this is their year the buffalo bills they're two and two in the division the goddamn the patriots have dominated all season long being 9-2, this is something I wasn't expecting being the fan of the game of football that I am.

Speaker 18 I didn't think they would be this good. They have been really, really well.
And because of the quarterback play, obviously the supporting cast, the defense has played well.

Speaker 18 Stephon Diggs is playing out of his mind.

Speaker 18 He's playing out of his mind. He's been playing very, very good football.
Matt Collins out there making plays. Douglas doing well.
doing well as well. And Trayvon Henry, is it Trayvon Henderson?

Speaker 18 Am I saying it right? Trayvon Henderson? Traybion? Man, listen. But Young Bull, nice boy.

Speaker 18 Young Bull is really

Speaker 18 young bull, real nice. Hey, he's one of the few running backs, too,

Speaker 18 on the field that can hit his head off the goalpost.

Speaker 11 Oh, he got speed to play with.

Speaker 18 Okay,

Speaker 18 he got speed, he got speed to burn. So, man, they look really good.
They look really good tonight, man. And on defense, hey, that guy, hey, Uncle that guy damn Christian Gonzalez.

Speaker 11 Hey, he nice. Oh, he, oh, he fluid.

Speaker 18 Hey, listen, he nice. He needs, I know he's been injured a little bit, but he needs to be in the conversation of top five DBs, especially.

Speaker 11 Oh, yeah, yeah, he is. I mean, you know, PS,

Speaker 11 PS2, Stingley Jr., him,

Speaker 11 you know,

Speaker 11 those are your top.

Speaker 11 I guess people like JC Horn. Some people like JC Horn.
But

Speaker 11 I think Gonzalez, I think PS2, and I think

Speaker 11 Stingley Jr. I think those are the top three corners in my book because they all possess

Speaker 11 very different. Now, Gonzalez and PS2,

Speaker 11 they got kind of similar body types. They're tall, angular.
Stinglay is a little bit more compact.

Speaker 11 Probably

Speaker 11 a little stronger because of the way he's built. But if you look at the way PS2 and the way he glides, he and Gonzalez have very, very similar games.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 11 Yeah, Trayvion Henderson. Yeah, he had two rushes and one in there.

Speaker 11 Yeah, they threw him one.

Speaker 11 But yeah, this is, this is, oh cho, this is a very good team. They're very well coached.

Speaker 11 and now you see why that after one year mr crafts like you know what gerard i i really hate to pull the plug this quick but this coach is proven uh and is too good to pass up and if we don't do this now there's a good he'd be going somewhere else yeah he'd be going somewhere else absolutely because if you think about it the falcons interviewed mike brable mike mcdonald

Speaker 11 at Seattle. They interviewed like four guys that are doing extremely well right now.
And they settled on Raheem Horace. And Raheem going to get this thing.

Speaker 11 He's going to have to get this thing turned around. But just watching New England, they don't beat themselves.

Speaker 11 I know, you know, Vrabo doesn't really mention a whole lot, but I think he took a whole lot. Playing under Coach Belichick, the mannerism, that he's not as

Speaker 11 stoic on the sideline. He's waiting to give his guys high fives coming off the field.
He's waiting to hug his guys.

Speaker 11 You watch him in the hallway, Ocho, when they're coming off the field after Big Rick victory. He's hugging everybody.

Speaker 11 Hey, come come on get in here come on let's go let's and is he's a guy i would love to play for he's the type of guy that you love you love to play for because he ain't gonna sugarcoat it now ocho you know exactly where you stand with mike rabel

Speaker 11 yes sir

Speaker 18 ocho take

Speaker 18 your time take your time I tweeted a little bit, but

Speaker 11 I just stopped tweeting because people, you know, I think people go like, man, you pick it on the guy.

Speaker 11 But at some point in time, Ocho, Ocho, I'm not so sure Justin Fields is going to ever be what a lot of people thought he would become. Ocho, let me give you some of these stats.
He was 3-4-11.

Speaker 11 He got injured in the fourth quarter for 27 yards.

Speaker 11 He played the entire game against the Broncos. He was 9 of 17 for 45 yards.

Speaker 11 He played the entire game against the Carolina Panthers. He was 6 of 12 for 46 yards.

Speaker 11 And the loss to Cleveland, he was 6 of 11 for 54 yards. And 42 of those yards came on a screenplay.

Speaker 18 Screen pad to Grease Hall. Tonight,

Speaker 11 before the final drive, he had 75 yards passing.

Speaker 18 Yes, sir.

Speaker 11 I think A.D. Mitchell left his hands in Indy.

Speaker 18 Yeah. Hey, oh, listen.
Listen, now, now he ended the game with 75 yards, right?

Speaker 11 No, he had 116, but before that final drive, he got 41 of the white 16. Right.

Speaker 18 So one of the things I do want to say

Speaker 18 before we pile on Justin Field,

Speaker 18 I want to talk about some of the drop passes. A.D.
Mitchell, two big plays.

Speaker 18 Two big plays in the first half, before half, you got to have those.

Speaker 11 You got to have that.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 18 Oh, man. Hey, Unc, you got to have that.
Hey, it's perfect, though. Outside shoulder away from the deal.

Speaker 11 You can't ask for anything more than that, Ocho.

Speaker 18 You got to have that. That's perfect red line.
You pull that in. Then the wheel route, the out and up, you know, adjust yourself.
Slow down a little bit.

Speaker 11 You know,

Speaker 18 perfect, perfect ball. Outside shoulder, DB has no way to make a play.
Has no way to make a play. You got to have that.
So

Speaker 18 those are passes that you got to help your quarterback out sometime. You got to help your quarterback.
And that's why the stats look the way they look.

Speaker 18 Sometimes they're dropped passes.

Speaker 11 Yeah, he had a couple of drops, but there was a couple, OJo. He had AD.

Speaker 11 And AD probably would have dropped it. But

Speaker 11 he had him on a hitch.

Speaker 11 Oh, Joe, he had him on the pitch, Ocho. That's a a simple pitch and catch oh he he threw it wide he threw it wide

Speaker 11 you put that on him the the because here's the thing the db is probably retreating you put that on him now i get a face you up there's a chance i can make you miss at least at least i caught it at five at bare minimum oh joe i'm gonna get a first down i might make you miss and get even more

Speaker 11 i'm like

Speaker 11 justin to start the game yeah you can't because what do we always say oh joe give me something i just want to get my hand i just want to touch the ball yeah let me touch it so you ain't got to give me nothing sophisticated just let me catch a hitch let me catch a stick let me catch a shallow cross i just want to touch the ball you give it to me early you got me late yeah justin

Speaker 11 how how on a on a on a five-yard hitch route you miss a guy that far outside

Speaker 18 and listen and that that goes for the quarterback too most of the time Some quarterbacks, they don't want to come out with anything.

Speaker 18 They want something short. They want a nice little check down to get themselves in a rhythm, you know, to get a feeling for the game and not really chase the game, but allow the game to come to them.

Speaker 18 And that's what you want. You want a slant.
You want a hitch. You want

Speaker 18 some, you know, short. But I think right now, I'm not sure with as bad as the Jets are, everyone around Justin Fields has to be almost dead.
But they don't have that.

Speaker 18 Yeah, they have to raise their level of play. They got to raise their level of play.
to catch up or to make sure they can overcome for Justin's mistakes or his lack of confidence right now.

Speaker 18 You have to. That's what you need.
You need that kind of dog out there. And he didn't play tonight.

Speaker 11 I think Garrett Wilson's on IR right now.

Speaker 18 So he's going to miss the next now three games after tonight.

Speaker 18 And then boy,

Speaker 18 they got to muster it up. They got to muster it up.
You know, those that are there,

Speaker 18 John Meachie made some plays.

Speaker 18 John Messie, I'm sorry, my apologize, Messie. Yeah, he made some plays tonight.

Speaker 18 Tight end, you know, a little check down play. But that's.

Speaker 11 Yeah, you got to have that catch. That tight end on on the fourth down you got to hold that one you got the first down and you're getting laid

Speaker 11 because you take it so long to submit the ball to you the guys driving bring it in yeah yeah he's driving on

Speaker 18 you know he knocked it down but outside of that man listen the jets that they hey if they didn't play that bad they didn't they really just couldn't get off the field

Speaker 11 uh in that first half ojo they couldn't get off the field yeah i mean they get them in third they get them in third and four third and five they get a first down they get them in third and ten yeah they get a first down.

Speaker 11 They just could not get off the field. And I'm like, okay, they rush three, they rush four, they bring pressure and they still didn't get there.
I'm like, well, damn, how difficult?

Speaker 11 I mean, man, how difficult is it? And you're right. And I think a lot of times the drops, maybe that messes with

Speaker 11 Justin Phield's confidence because he's like, well, am I doing something? What am I doing wrong? Because he'll throw one terrible and then he'll drop a dime.

Speaker 11 He'll throw two terrible and he'll throw another dime.

Speaker 11 He had A.D. Mitchell again again on the go he hit gonzalez in the ass with the ball i thought he's playing pin to tail like a donkey

Speaker 11 i said but damn

Speaker 11 he oh yo he had it he yeah he hit gonzalez in the ass

Speaker 11 yeah he was beat and that's the thing when you get a guy beat down there oh joe you know you're already struggling as an offense you can't miss and that's what i tweeted i said mitchell You're not that good offensively.

Speaker 11 You're not that good of a team to overcome those kind of mistakes. That's a flat out drop.
And they're not.

Speaker 11 And you're saying, okay, you get a guy like Justin Fields and he's struggling, but they don't have the receivers.

Speaker 11 They don't have a Chase or a Jeddah or one of these top flight receivers that could, or a couple of them. They need more than one.
They need

Speaker 11 a couple of them that can elevate them.

Speaker 11 And I just.

Speaker 11 Yeah.

Speaker 18 It sucks. It sucks.
It sucks. And listen, not only that,

Speaker 18 they're not playing well. They let two of their best players on defense go.
Obviously,

Speaker 18 you got players for them. So you would hope those players that you got in the trade can step up

Speaker 18 and play the par. And obviously,

Speaker 18 it's 80s first week.

Speaker 11 This is his first game, too, right? This is his first game. Is there the first time he caught a pass? Is it the first time he ran around? I mean, I mean, yeah, you champion football.

Speaker 11 You say no matter where you go, wherever you play.

Speaker 18 Right, right, right, right, right, right. Like, I'm not, listen, I'm not making no excuses for him.

Speaker 18 You have to make those plays. You have to.

Speaker 11 You got to. And with justin fields out excuse me with garrett wilson out you're supposed to be their best receiver

Speaker 11 because at the coach they had high expectations until you got into shane steichers doghouse with that fumble it was never the same after that now maybe there was something going on maybe that was the final straw that broke the campbells back oh cho but from that point on

Speaker 18 it it wasn't the same

Speaker 11 No, it wasn't the same. But I just don't know how

Speaker 11 you throw for 27 yards in a game. You throw for 45 yards in a game, you throw for 46 yards in a game, you throw for 54 yards in a game, and you throw for 116 and 41 of that came on the final drive.

Speaker 11 I just don't know how you move on and

Speaker 11 become what people thought you were going to become when they took you as a top draft pick.

Speaker 11 I think you were up 15 to 16, something like that, Ocho. I just don't see the consistency.

Speaker 11 I don't see him one, two,

Speaker 11 check it down.

Speaker 11 One, two, three, out of bounds. One, two, three, gone.

Speaker 11 I don't see that. And you know, as a quarterback, the really good ones,

Speaker 18 yes.

Speaker 11 Back foot hit, okay, I'm dropping back. I know to play, Ocho.
I'm dropping back. I already gone through it.
Okay, we've gone through it through the course of the week. Cover one, we go here.

Speaker 11 Cover two, we go there. Quarters, we go here.
Cover five, we go there. Sky, six.
We already know. So when you back it up, the safety has already told you what it's due.
Single high safety.

Speaker 11 Oh, I know where I'm going right now. Oh, he's covered.

Speaker 11 Let me see what two is. Is two there? Okay, let me take this check down.

Speaker 11 Oh, Joe. Yeah.
See, it seems like it's like he got a dial-up service. He ain't got that 5G.
They say they got something. They got 10G up in China.
Say, hey, you cut the phone up.

Speaker 11 It already gone to what you're looking for.

Speaker 18 Yeah. Yeah, most definitely.

Speaker 18 I think the fact that also with the offensive line not playing as well as they should be, he's rushing everything a little bit, not being able to go through his progression and understand, listen, pre-snap, okay, I'm seeing what they're doing.

Speaker 18 And once that ball snaps, you know, obviously

Speaker 18 you want that head straight down the field, not giving anything away and not having the time to be able to go through his read. And progression, I think he speeds things up and hurries throws.

Speaker 18 He rushes throws to hurry to get the ball out of his hands, too. Yeah.

Speaker 11 I mean,

Speaker 11 Ocho, I'm looking at against Buffalo, he averaged 2.5 yards an attempt. Against the Broncos, 2.6 yards per attempt.
Against Carolina, 3.8 yards per attempt. Against Cleveland, 4.9 yards attempt.

Speaker 11 That's not even a running back average is

Speaker 11 squat if he's doing that.

Speaker 11 Imagine if you're a quarterback and that's what your yards per attempt is.

Speaker 11 That is horrible.

Speaker 18 Yeah, it is bad, but also, you know, also, you know what else? It also comes down to the weapons around you.

Speaker 18 It also comes down to what do you have? What is your supporting cast like? Now, you take a Justin Fields here, hypothetically speaking, right?

Speaker 18 Say you keep the same offense and you put a Jamar Chase or you put a Justin Jefferson, you put a T. Higgins or you put any of the

Speaker 18 top tier receivers on that team together. You know, a one in a one or one

Speaker 18 in a one or a decent, a decent

Speaker 11 one.

Speaker 18 Yeah. Hey, it looks completely different because they can overcome for all the woes that Justin Fields may be having.
They can overcome all that. The small stuff.

Speaker 18 You got Jamar Chase, crazy crazy ass, could take a goddamn slant and a goddamn hitch, 80 yards. You got T.
Higgins, any ball you throw to him, which was considered for most receivers, 50-50.

Speaker 18 Hell, with him, it's 90-10.

Speaker 18 Like small stuff like that, when you have players

Speaker 18 that can elevate their play to overcome for your, your shortcomings. It makes things easier, but they just don't have that.

Speaker 18 Therefore, everybody else has to raise their level of play and damn near be perfect.

Speaker 18 And that's the issue. That's the issue they have.

Speaker 11 If you look at the guys that you just mentioned, they had their best seasons. If you think about it, what do the guys do really well? Process information really, really quickly.
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 11 Go back and look at Joe Flacco.

Speaker 11 Now go back and look at Joe Flacco. It doesn't even look like Chase has fallen off because Joe Flacco backfoot hit.
I'm going to him.

Speaker 11 Cousins or Sam Darnall,

Speaker 11 you couldn't tell who was in there with Jetta

Speaker 11 because

Speaker 11 they process information quickly.

Speaker 11 That is the number one thing. How well do you download information and how quickly can you disseminate it?

Speaker 11 I don't care. I don't care what type of arm you got.
I don't care what type of leg you got. Can you, hey, if I input:

Speaker 17 This is the story of the one. As a custodial supervisor at a high school, he knows that during cold and flu season, germs spread fast.

Speaker 17 It's why he partners with Granger to stay fully stocked on the products and supplies he needs, from tissues to disinfectants to floor scrubbers.

Speaker 17 All so that he can help students, staff, and teachers stay healthy and focused. Call 1-800GRANGER, clickgranger.com or just stop by.
Granger for the ones who get it done.

Speaker 5 For 25 years, I've explored what it means to heal, not just for myself, but alongside others. I'm Mike DeLaRocha.
This is Sacred Lessons, a space for reflection, growth, and collective healing.

Speaker 21 What do you tell men that are hurting right now? Everything's gonna be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it.

Speaker 22 And you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath. Wow.
Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as people is just breathe.

Speaker 3 Next to the wound is their gifts.

Speaker 19 You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound. That's the hard thing.
You think, well, I'm going to get my gifts. I don't want to go through all that.

Speaker 19 You got to go through the wounds you left.

Speaker 24 Listening to other people's near-death experiences.

Speaker 2 And that's all they say.

Speaker 24 In conclusion, love is the answer.

Speaker 25 Listen to Sacred Lessons as part of the My Gutura Podcast Network.

Speaker 17 If one of us wins, would we all win?

Speaker 26 I'm Ashley Reitfeld and I'm the host of the Women's Skateboarding Podcast. Good luck with that.

Speaker 26 Good luck with that is a skateboarding podcast that is part cultural record, part news brief, mostly group therapy, and a place to talk about the past, present, and future of women and gender expansive skateboarding.

Speaker 26 This week, me and my co-hosts Nora Vasconcelos and Alex White, we have Fabiana Delfino on the show, a professional skateboarder from Florida whose crit was forged in a family of athletes.

Speaker 26 Tune in to hear how she broke into the boys club, what it takes to be pro, and why just being grateful you're here shouldn't be the price of entry.

Speaker 17 Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago, because that's when they maybe started paying attention.

Speaker 26 It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the years, stacking clips and receipts, and still having to prove your worth while the industry catches up.

Speaker 17 You break down the door, sick, now like hold the door for everyone.

Speaker 26 We created good luck with that because we want to share our experience of existing in an industry that wasn't always built for everyone.

Speaker 26 So listen to good luck with that on iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 15 Hey, what's up everybody? Daniel Jeremiah here.

Speaker 15 Every week on Move the Six, Bucky Brooks and I dive deep into the game from the X's and O's to the front office moves shaping the league.

Speaker 23 We kick things off with Brian Baldinger breaking down what really went down on Sunday.

Speaker 29 It is as good a timing rhythm offense as there is in the league right now.

Speaker 15 Then Rhett Lewis joins us for our rookie draft and coordinator of the week, where we highlight the rising stars and the masterminds calling the shots.

Speaker 12 DJ talked me into a Ronde Gadston Jr.

Speaker 30 He had a monster game. Monster, a monster game.

Speaker 28 And you hear from the voices who actually build the game.

Speaker 23 GMs, coaches, and players who give you insight you won't get anywhere else.

Speaker 34 It's right there in the name.

Speaker 33 Every week, Florio, LQ, and I bring you the latest news from around the league.

Speaker 31 We break down every matchup, give you our analysis and advice so you know who to start, sit, drop, and trade to bring that championship trophy home.

Speaker 32 I just want to remind everyone how good Rashi Rice was last season.

Speaker 31 In his three healthy games, he was the wide receiver two in fantasy.

Speaker 35 I think Rashi Rice just goes off this week.

Speaker 7 The Chiefs come on a flip pass to Rice, their side, touchdown. Ramondre Stevens is my sleeper this week.

Speaker 7 This is a matchup where I think I can slide in Stevens into my flex position and he could deliver double-digit points this week.

Speaker 36 Drake takes the snap, hands it up. Ramondre running it right and running into the end zone.
Touchdown.

Speaker 33 It's never too late to turn your fantasy season around.

Speaker 37 Subscribe to the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 11 And information, Ojo, how soon can you spit it back out?

Speaker 18 Yeah, and the funny thing about it is not only being able to process it, not only being able to spit it out, but you know what makes it even easier?

Speaker 18 The motherfucker you throw on to on the other side of the ball.

Speaker 11 But I thought, oh, yo, it makes sense. But if I run it,

Speaker 11 but see, now you got me, okay?

Speaker 11 I run a hitch route.

Speaker 11 Now you got me. Well, do I need to slide or do I need to slide? Because I'm anticipating because I don't know where it's going to be.
I know normally I'm going to get a hitch.

Speaker 11 I'm going to get it in the framework of my body, Ocho, because he's not going to be under pressure. Because it's one, two, three, boom, ball's out.
So he's not going to be up under pressure.

Speaker 11 So I'm thinking I'm going to get the ball somewhere in here, here, here.

Speaker 11 Ocho, not out here.

Speaker 18 Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 11 So it makes it difficult.

Speaker 11 It's like sometimes when you're dealing with a mobile quarterback, it's hard to adjust to them, Ocho, because I run my route. And next thing I know, he way over the crowd screaming.

Speaker 11 I'm like, damn, what happened? He way over there.

Speaker 11 I'm like, well, damn.

Speaker 11 So it's hard when your quarterback is inconsistent. I don't give a damn who the receiver is.
You want some consistency at that position, but you want somebody that can digest information.

Speaker 11 The coach put it in and he spit it right back out in the form of getting the ball out of his hand.

Speaker 11 I hope I'm wrong.

Speaker 11 I pray I'm wrong, but I just don't know if he's ever going to be what many thought he would be, especially when you look at the game that he had against, who did he play against Clemson?

Speaker 11 You look at that game that he had against Clemson, and he was sensational.

Speaker 11 Yeah.

Speaker 11 And I was like, okay, now

Speaker 11 playing with those guys that he had, Olave and Garrett Wilson and all those guys, we understand.

Speaker 18 See?

Speaker 11 See? But you realize once you get to the NFL, the likelihood of you having five receivers that are five stars

Speaker 11 or be that type of guy, the likelihood is not very good. Yeah, does he have a chase? No.
Does he have a jetta? Does he have any of the top, top receivers? No.

Speaker 18 Now, What I will say, now, what I will say, he does have Garrett Wilson. Now, Garrett Wilson,

Speaker 18 who had a phenomenal, who had a phenomenal rookie year with lesser quarterbacks.

Speaker 11 If you look at him, OJo, if you look at him, if you just put him on paper and you say, look at what was thrown to Garrett Wilson when he won offensive rookie of the year, and you look at what's throwing to Garrett Wilson.

Speaker 11 Now, if you just look on just, hey, you're like, well, man, with Justin Fields, he's about to go crazy. And he played with him in college.

Speaker 18 Yes. Yes.

Speaker 18 yeah

Speaker 18 we are i mean i mean listen judge garrett wilson is a phenomenal talent nothing should taper off when you have a talent like that it's so easy when you look at what they're able to do with devontae adams and pooping the cooler um hell jsn and obviously i don't think the jets offensive coordinator has that kind of creativity to put and you and justin justin fields to use garrett wilson in the right type of way to create those mismatches like the other team

Speaker 11 without his run

Speaker 11 I can give you all the nice ingredients I want, but if you can't cook, what the hell have I done?

Speaker 11 I spent a whole lot of money on great food, great ingredients, and I know you can't make a dish with it.

Speaker 11 It comes down to it, Ocho.

Speaker 11 The really good,

Speaker 11 go look at chop in the iron shelf, and they give these, these give these people, okay, I'm gonna give you chocolate, I'm gonna give you onions, I'm gonna give you stone crabs. And I'm like,

Speaker 11 how did you even think of this?

Speaker 11 Yes.

Speaker 11 But you give somebody, you can give them, oh, okay, I'm going to give you steak. I'm going to give you this.
I'm going to give you that. And you're like,

Speaker 11 what I'm supposed to make?

Speaker 11 I just, I hope I'm wrong, chat. I really do.
But I just, I just, and I've seen him and I've watched him. Now, this man has gone through three head coaches and probably four offensive coordinators.

Speaker 11 Yeah. And I'm not,

Speaker 11 and sometimes you get lucky and you get the, you get a Sean McVay or you get a Kyle Shanahan,

Speaker 11 but

Speaker 11 I just don't know it. Because at the end of the day, the quarterback position is all about processing information and spitting it back out.
That's what it comes down to.

Speaker 11 It is. I mean, I don't care how good, how big your arm is.
I don't care how fast your legs are. Can you process it, Ocho?

Speaker 11 Because that's a whole different ballgame. Because not only must you process it, Ocho, you got to realize

Speaker 11 they got five. On most occasions, they got four guys that's really trying to tear your damn head off.

Speaker 11 So you gotta like you in fear for your life, but also you gotta calm yourself down and say, you know what? Yeah, one, two, check down, one, two, up, throw it out of bounds, one, two, f that, I'm out.

Speaker 18 Yeah,

Speaker 18 it's all it's all about that clock.

Speaker 11 You know what,

Speaker 11 maybe, maybe, maybe put him in, maybe put him in hurry up the game because it seems like, you know, when he's in hurry up, he's better.

Speaker 18 yeah yeah

Speaker 11 and then fumble

Speaker 18 no yeah i mean listen that that's on this that's on the center too that's on the center come on now it's the nfl now put the put put the snap at the mid this should be the snap the snap should come in the same area every single time you go through that all goddamn week i mean like come on now come on center don't don't do that don't do that don't do that

Speaker 18 a little man the ball hit it the ball hit his ankles But you know what?

Speaker 11 It's just that, you know,

Speaker 11 take that away. They got three points out of that.
Give the defense credit because I thought the defense gave up one touchdowns and two field goals in the second half.

Speaker 11 They did force a three and out

Speaker 11 on the first possession of the second half, which is kudos.

Speaker 11 You know, you see, I think the Jets won the toss and they took the ball. They drove the ball right down the field, something they normally don't do.

Speaker 11 It normally ends in a punt or turnover, and they drove the ball. I think they had the ball like 14 plays and drove the ball and punched it in the end zone.
But I just,

Speaker 11 Lord, I hope I'm wrong, but I just, I just, I just don't see where he's ever going to be more than what he is. I don't think he's ever going to be turned into what.
And

Speaker 11 that's okay, because everybody ain't going to be. a Lamar Jackson.
Everybody's not going to be Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 11 But I mean, I think if the Jets could be okay, if he was just like middle of the road, you just can't be, you can't be the the bottom tier i'm not saying you got to be top tier but i mean if we got that kind of if we got chad you can see this if we got this much space can you be somewhere in here and not be down here in the middle right

Speaker 11 can we get that ocho

Speaker 18 and he and you know what all you know what else it all comes down to now

Speaker 10 this is the story of the one as head of maintenance at a concert hall he knows the show must always go on that's why he works behind the scenes ensuring every light is working the HVAC is humming, and his facility shines.

I'm Mike DeLaRocha. This is Sacred Lessons, a space for reflection, growth, and collective healing.

Speaker 21 What do you tell men that are hurting right now? Everything's going to be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it.

Speaker 22 And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath. Wow.
Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as people is just breathe.

Speaker 3 Next to the wound is their gifts.

Speaker 19 You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound. That's the hard thing.
You think, well, I'm going to get my gifts. I don't want to to go through all that.

Speaker 24 You got to go through the wounds you left listening to other people's near-death experiences.

Speaker 2 And that's all they say.

Speaker 24 In conclusion, love is the answer.

Speaker 32 I just want to remind everyone how good Rashi Rice was last season.

Speaker 31 In his three healthy games, he was the wide receiver two in fantasy.

Speaker 35 I think Rashi Rice just goes off this week.

Speaker 7 The Chiefs come on a flip pass to Rice.

Speaker 6 This side, touchdown.

Speaker 7 Ramondre Stevens is my sleeper this week. This is a matchup where I think I can slide in Stevens into my flex position and he could deliver double-digit points this week.

Speaker 36 Drake takes the snap. Hands it off.
Ramondre running it right and running into the end zone. Touchdown.

Speaker 33 It's never too late to turn your fantasy season around.

Speaker 18 Play all, not only all the intangibles and all the nuances that we're talking about, but unless you got confidence on

Speaker 18 ain't nothing happening

Speaker 18 you got to be able to play with confidence you have to be able to play with confidence in in everything that you do in one of the most important positions quarterback

Speaker 11 is the most important goddamn quarterback it's the most important

Speaker 11 the most because if you don't believe you got to be able to trust your your your body language

Speaker 11 yeah your aura is going to say if you don't believe i don't believe either

Speaker 11 i mean if if you don't trust trust your skill, why you want me?

Speaker 11 That's why I used to get in the car, oh yo, that's your

Speaker 11 button their seatbelt, fasten their seatbelt. Hell, I fasten mine.
You know something I don't.

Speaker 11 Click.

Speaker 11 So

Speaker 11 you can build, you, I've been around quarterbacks when they walk into the huddle, you know.

Speaker 11 And you know what the hell they do.

Speaker 11 And they give you the confidence that you know what the hell you do it.

Speaker 18 Exactly. Exactly.

Speaker 11 Exactly.

Speaker 18 Man, this is. Yeah,

Speaker 18 I hope hope they get it together. I'm not sure what direction they're going to go in, but the way they've started so far and letting Sauce go and letting

Speaker 11 go.

Speaker 18 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Yeah.

Speaker 18 Wait, listen, but who are you going to, you're going to start over with a quarterback?

Speaker 11 Yeah, I believe so. You're going to start with a new quarterback?

Speaker 18 You're going to draft another one? You're going to draft another one?

Speaker 11 I believe so.

Speaker 11 I mean, I don't know if there's any

Speaker 11 quarterbacks that's going to become available.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 11 Probably Sam Donnell didn't want any parts of New York again, which I wouldn't blame him.

Speaker 11 But look, I mean, every day it seems like I hear a story about somebody that played there having an interaction with the owner, and it's never positive, and it's never good.

Speaker 18 Right. Yeah.

Speaker 11 And

Speaker 11 with that situation,

Speaker 11 I hope

Speaker 11 AG gets at least three years.

Speaker 11 Because it's not like you had a powerful roster to begin with, and now you stripped him of his two best defensive players. So he got to get at least two years.

Speaker 11 And without a quarterback, you can give him five years and he's still not going to get it done. Because

Speaker 11 it's hard. It's damn near impossible.
And I know Jack, well, y'all did it in 22,000 with the Ray with Trent Dilfer. They don't allow you to play football like that.

Speaker 11 No, absolutely. You don't play football like that anymore.
The rules are different. So, no,

Speaker 11 there's nobody winning another Super Bowl like we won it or like Tampa won it in 02.

Speaker 11 You're not because they won't allow you to play defense like that.

Speaker 11 Your quarterback is going to have to stand in the pocket and he's going to have to make plays throwing the effing football yeah he's going to be able to use his legs to get out of harm's way some

Speaker 11 but he's going to have to be able to throw the football the days of oh we got a killer defense and we're going to run the ball no you're not

Speaker 18 no that no you're not you're not you're not gonna you're not gonna win very many games like that because once the team gets ahead on you Once the team gets ahead of you, 10, 14 points.

Speaker 11 You can't run your way back into a game. Absolutely.
Let me ask you this, Ocho. Do you like Kyler Murray? Because

Speaker 11 I believe there's going to be a separation of church and state in Arizona. Uh-huh.

Speaker 18 Yeah, most definitely. Because I think Kyler Murray is healthy.
I think me personally, I think he's healthy.

Speaker 18 But they're continuing to want to go with Jacoby Brissette based on how he look and how the offense moved with him.

Speaker 18 You know, the few weeks he's been in.

Speaker 18 If they do. part ways with him, I'm sure Kyler Murray will be somewhere else next year.

Speaker 11 For sure.

Speaker 18 How would it look over in New York? I'm not sure. I'm not sure if it's a fit.
It all depends on AG.

Speaker 18 Obviously, outside of AG, you got to go to the higher powers and see if that's something that they want to look into. Or do you want to go into the draft?

Speaker 18 Now, when you think about some of the quarterbacks coming into the draft this year, is there a franchise altering quarterback that can come in there and change a franchise?

Speaker 18 I haven't seen anything like that this year. There have been some that have played good, but nothing that just blows you out the water.
Like, you know what?

Speaker 18 That guy, we got to have him i agree i haven't seen i haven't seen i haven't seen it either ocho

Speaker 11 so we'll see how this plays out

Speaker 11 the pittsburgh steelers stayed atop the alc north thanks to a 34 12 victory although aaron rodgers left the game what many believe to be a a crack at his a brush a break in his wrist uh Mason Rudolph came in, finished 12 of 16, 127 of the touchdown.

Speaker 11 He relieved Aaron Rodgers, who was 9 of 15, 116 at a touchdown.

Speaker 11 They won 34 to 12, but that was not the story of the game. Something happened late in the ball game.
Jalen Ramsey was ejected for punching T. Not T.
Higgins, Jamar Chase in the face.

Speaker 11 They asked Chase, excuse me, they asked Jalen Ramsey what happened.

Speaker 11 Huh?

Speaker 11 Okay, we got ball. Okay, let's take a listen to

Speaker 11 what Ramsey said after the game.

Speaker 11 He spilled me, so it's up. I don't give a fuck about football after that.

Speaker 11 Respectfully.

Speaker 11 Okay, here's what Chase said.

Speaker 11 Officer, what happened with Joe?

Speaker 11 Um,

Speaker 11 exchanging words. Okay.

Speaker 11 You were saying that you spit on him? Did you spit on him?

Speaker 11 I ain't never opened my mouth to that guy.

Speaker 11 What do you think prompted the reaction from him?

Speaker 11 Well, you don't like some of the stories I told him.

Speaker 11 We've been going back and forth the whole time, so I'm sure

Speaker 11 something got under his hand.

Speaker 11 Yeah. Ocho, all good.
Here, we got, we got, we got Austin Brisket,

Speaker 11 brisky, brisky, Austin Brisky, Fox 19. He got it all on tape.
Let's take a look at this, Ocho.

Speaker 11 That's your guy. I've met him a few times.
I like Chase. He's the best receiving in football.
But he spit on Jalen Ramsey. And you know, and everybody knows I've been abundantly clear where I am.

Speaker 11 The most disrespectful thing you can do. Yeah, we know the N-word.
We know

Speaker 11 the connotations and what it summons up.

Speaker 11 But

Speaker 11 my grandfather used to always say, she said, boy, you don't spit on. If you're telling me I'm the ground, that is the lowest thing you can do.
Oh, Joe, he spit on that man. And he lied.

Speaker 11 And Jalen Ramsey said, Jalen Ramsey says he spit on me. So it's up after that.
F football after that point.

Speaker 11 Take it away.

Speaker 18 I mean, Uno, y'all know how I feel about

Speaker 18 Uno. You know how I feel about Jamar.

Speaker 18 And, you know, I'm really critical of players. Very rarely.
It takes a lot for me to be critical of someone, but this is one of those situations where

Speaker 18 I got to let Chase know, boy, you're dead wrong.

Speaker 18 As much as I love you, you can't do that. You can't do that.
You can be angry. You can be mad.
You can say what you want to say to a player on the field.

Speaker 18 But you can't spit on nobody, bro. Young boy, you can't spit on nobody.
Obviously, you know, cooler heads will prevail. But in those situations like that, when you're angry, I know you're frustrated.

Speaker 18 The game might not be going your way. You're not getting the ball the way you want to get the ball.
You know how these division games go.

Speaker 18 Situations like this happen all the time, especially when it's Bengal Steelers. It's just like this.
It's tight. It's tight.
You get angry, you get frustrated, but you can't.

Speaker 18 You just can't.

Speaker 18 As much as I love you, I'm disappointed, obviously, in your actions.

Speaker 18 I'm going to talk to you. I haven't had the chance today.

Speaker 18 I ain't want to bother you. But if you look back, you think about it

Speaker 18 you probably won't be in this situation again uh knowing the nfl and and the way they discipline they'll probably suspend you for a game and you know it'll probably never happen again it'll probably never happen again but this is something you just can't do young bull you you you can't you can't do this you can't

Speaker 11 just own it

Speaker 11 Just say, you know, my emotions. Hey, Jalen, I'm sorry.
My emotions got the best of me. When emotions are high, logic is low.
Ram, I'm sorry.

Speaker 11 I let my emotions get the best of me. Y'all, I was wrong.
I was dead ass wrong for what I did.

Speaker 11 It's hard to do something now publicly, Ocho, and nobody sees it. Cause everybody.
I got cameras everywhere, huh?

Speaker 11 Because, Ocho, if they're having a conversation, and you know, hey, sometimes when I get excited, I have to come, man. I'm sorry, I ain't mean to spit.
We've all done that.

Speaker 11 We get excited, we start talking, and we accidentally accidentally spray them but that wasn't no spray ocho that was not no spray that was not a spray and he did it and he lied to reporters and he said i ain't i ain't open my mouth you did chase you wrong bro you wrong and i know that's not

Speaker 11 what you did

Speaker 11 i'm not going to define you by that but you did that

Speaker 11 I don't believe in Ocho that

Speaker 11 the worst thing that a person done, that's who he, who, now, obviously we got repeat offenders, but there's nothing in his history, there's nothing in his background that would suggest this is who he is.

Speaker 11 So I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. Now, the NFL,

Speaker 11 they got to sit you down. They've got to sit you down for a game.
That's the least they can do. Jalen Ramsey, you're going to get fine, a little fine, but they're not going to suspend you.

Speaker 11 Because you because your suspension was you got kicked out of the game.

Speaker 11 That was your punishment. And you're going to get fine.
You'll probably get fine

Speaker 11 I don't know $12,000, $25,000, something like that. But Chase, you're going to get suspended.
And I don't know why, Chase. I don't know.
Ocho,

Speaker 11 and I've been mad. Oh, Joe, I know you've been mad at people.
I've been mad at people.

Speaker 11 I could,

Speaker 11 but to spit on somebody, do you know how disrespectful, how degrading that is? As a black man,

Speaker 11 you, Chase, you know the history of

Speaker 11 Louisiana in the South. That's what they used to do to your grandpa, your great-grandpa, your great-grandma.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 11 When they were trying to integrate the schools, come on, Chase. We got to be better than that.
We can't do that to each other. I get it.
Yeah, we get upset. Yeah, we get angry.

Speaker 11 But come on, we got to do better than that when it comes to each other. For us,

Speaker 11 I might disagree with something you said. I might not like what you said.
And like I said, hey.

Speaker 11 But I can't. I cannot do that.
Because what happens is, Ocho, if you spit on somebody, whatever that individual does to you after that, I'm good with.

Speaker 11 Yeah.

Speaker 11 If you spit on somebody, and that goes for family members, anybody, if you spit on somebody, whatever that person does to you after that,

Speaker 11 you're right. Because, Ocho, the thing is, you get to control your actions.
You don't get to control the consequences that come from your actions. You're right.
You're right.

Speaker 11 I'm just disappointed because he would have been the last person I would have thought

Speaker 11 that would do something like this. Like I said, I've been around him half a time.
Not like you, Ocho. I don't vote like you.
But he was all, you know, guys normally when they see me, they respect me.

Speaker 11 Hey, uh, what's going on? How you doing? Blah, blah, blah. But man, damn.
I mean, and then, and I want, and I want, and I wanted to believe, because, like I said, I've been around Ram a little bit.

Speaker 11 But, and he's not like, I see,

Speaker 11 the little bit of time I've been around him and what I've seen him, you know, we DMed a couple of times. He don't struggle.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

Speaker 18 no, honestly, you got to think, you got to think these boys, especially when it comes to Jalen, when it comes to Uno, you know, I'm around these fellas consistently, all the time.

Speaker 18 You know, whether it's working out, whether it's hanging out, whether it's eating, I hang out with Jalen when he was down here in Miami.

Speaker 18 And obviously, you know, my relationship with Chase, you know, since he got drafted, now that's something even

Speaker 18 more close. And none of these individuals are like that.
But emotions get the best of us sometimes.

Speaker 18 Sometimes we make mistakes. And I've been in situations where emotions have got the best of me.
And I've done things that are totally out of my character, out of my character.

Speaker 18 It's totally uncharacteristic of who I am and what I represent and everything that I stand for. And I think this is one of those situations for Chase.

Speaker 18 This is something that happened where obviously logic was low because emotions were were high. I was upset.
I'm frustrated. The game's not going well.
Then they got them trash talking to me.

Speaker 18 We going back and forth and it just, it got the best of them.

Speaker 18 And I'm really not the one that's always that that is in positions to be the voice of reason, but I'm probably one of the few people outside of family members that Uno will listen to.

Speaker 18 He will listen to and

Speaker 18 actually listen and take heed to what I'm saying because I've been in situations where

Speaker 18 we're not to this magnitude, we're not thinking, we're not thinking straight, you know, it can cost you. You know, now this is going to cost them.

Speaker 18 It's not going to cost them, you know, as much as it did for me for being in a situation where my logic was low as hell, huh? I mean, it was super low. And it cost me a lot.

Speaker 18 Now, this is just on a small scale, still in a very disrespectful manner.

Speaker 11 But that's why you're the perfect person to speak on this, because you've been in a similar situation where emotion was high and logic was low.

Speaker 11 And sometimes when a situation like that, we let our emotion get the best of us. And that's not who we are.
But in that moment, just for a second, you threw caution to the wind. We've all been there.

Speaker 11 And my thing is, Chase, you didn't have to lie.

Speaker 11 Everybody's going to look at you a certain way, but you'd say, you know what? All you had to do is say, Ram, I'm sorry. You should have went, hey, you should have made peace with that man.

Speaker 11 Hey, y'all get me Ram's number. I'm going to call him.
I want to call him and tell him as a man. I say, bro, I'm going to tell the world that I did.
I was wrong. I was dead ass.

Speaker 11 But I wanted to tell you first, man to man, Ram, I'm sorry, bro. That ain't me, bro.
You know me. That ain't me.

Speaker 11 We're both competitors. You're fighting your ass off of your team.
I'm fighting my ass off of my team. And my emotions got the best of me.
Ram, I'm sorry, bro.

Speaker 11 Man, I really hope you forgive me because

Speaker 11 I don't want your family to look at me in that light.

Speaker 11 And I don't want my family to look at me in that light, to know that I did something like that.

Speaker 11 Because I know my family would be very disappointing in me so I'm coming to you as a man but I'm gonna tell the world

Speaker 11 I did what I did I did and I want to apologize to you as a man out of out of five I'd have got him in the tunnel I'd have went to the tunnel I said bro hey I'm gonna go I'm gonna go look I'm gonna do my press conference but I'm gonna find Ram and say I'm sorry

Speaker 11 I would have

Speaker 11 and I think he will

Speaker 11 and hey that's between him and Ram I don't have to know about it everybody talk about well he did it but nah I'm I'm good. Just apologize to the man, and we're going to keep on moving.

Speaker 11 But just know, man, Ocho, it ain't like when you and I first got in the league, they got a couple cameras. Bro, they catching everything.

Speaker 11 They catch everything. And that's why you see guys cover their mouth when they talk to one another, Ocho, because guess what? People try to read lips.

Speaker 11 Y'all try to read exactly what Ocho and I talking about. Man, it seems like he said, remember when Jalen Brown was on the sideline and he and his girl, and they was talking about Bronny?

Speaker 18 Oh, yeah, yeah,

Speaker 18 on the side. Yeah, I remember that, yeah.

Speaker 18 They did read his lips. That's right.
That's right. I remember that.
I remember that.

Speaker 11 Exactly. Exactly.
Exactly. And

Speaker 18 we're going to get this situation rectified, though. We're going to get it rectified.

Speaker 11 I know. Look, but let me ask you a question, OJo.

Speaker 11 The league got to step in because

Speaker 11 it happened. I mean, but to see, I mean, what? I think this is the second or the third time that this has happened this year.

Speaker 18 Yeah, we had

Speaker 18 Jalen Carter, week one.

Speaker 11 i think there was another situation i'm not sure it was college it was college

Speaker 18 yeah yeah yeah but listen the league's gonna gonna step in they got they're gonna obviously discipline him it probably it probably it'll probably a one-game suspension i didn't i didn't i didn't call i didn't call uno tonight i didn't call him tonight uh he got enough to deal with as it is you know coming off a loss i allow i allow 24 hours to go by so tomorrow you know i got to fly to new york tomorrow so when i fly to new york i'm gonna take that time out being that this is this is off day i'm sure they're probably going to watch film and i'm going to catch up later on in the evening and

Speaker 18 just talk to him. Just talk to him a little bit about

Speaker 18 being able to use logic even in situations

Speaker 18 when you're not in your right state of mind. Because at times it can cost you.
And I'm the perfect example of not using your mind in the right state of mind.

Speaker 18 And it's not going to cost you big this time, but it cost me my whole career.

Speaker 18 So using that example with him in a small situation, which was extremely disrespectful,

Speaker 18 would be perfect because

Speaker 18 I'm a prime example.

Speaker 18 Yep.

Speaker 11 Oh, Joe.

Speaker 11 Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I told you.

Speaker 18 Before,

Speaker 18 we're going off the

Speaker 18 bang game already.

Speaker 11 What you want to talk about?

Speaker 11 I don't know what you want to talk about.

Speaker 18 Listen, brother Darnell Washington.

Speaker 18 The way he played. Oh, listen.

Speaker 18 Hey, hey, he pissed me off, man.

Speaker 18 Are you supposed to be playing with a goddamn Knicks or something?

Speaker 11 No, actually, he's supposed to have a 70 number. He's supposed to be an offensive tackle.
Hey,

Speaker 11 I'm Joker 6'7. Because guess what?

Speaker 11 He got a job. Yes, you see how he moved.

Speaker 18 He's respectful. I'm like, why are you pushing on people like that? Why are you at tight end?

Speaker 18 Hey,

Speaker 18 hey, Darnay, watching it. Boy, you was balling out tonight.
All Steeler fans, for those of you that are in the chat, you know how I feel about you. I love you.

Speaker 18 I've always been respectful and shown sportsmanship and i've shown grace whether we won or whether we lost i was always respectful but down there at washington what you did to my teammates i had to avenge them so whenever i see you in public in the offseason just know we're gonna squabble we're gonna square up and we're gonna fight but boy you had a hell of a game boy you had a hell of a game salute to y'all still a fan congratulations on your win today

Speaker 18 um i love y'all y'all got it I hope Aaron Rodgers is okay. If he's not okay,

Speaker 18 I think it's his non-throwing hand. I think something in his wrist is non-throwing hand that might be broke.
Aaron Rodgers, do me a small favor. Put your hard cast on there.

Speaker 18 Put your hard cast on there.

Speaker 18 And let's play ball next week now.

Speaker 18 Let's play ball next week. We could play with that, whether it's a small break or a little break.

Speaker 11 I don't know why you're talking about our team. Why you talking about our team?

Speaker 18 You're not even a Steeler.

Speaker 11 I'm saying, that's not the same thing.

Speaker 18 They're in the AFC North. So I feel compelled to be able to

Speaker 11 raise

Speaker 11 my team.

Speaker 18 Hold on.

Speaker 18 Listen, I feel compelled to support them because my team is out right now.

Speaker 18 That's all.

Speaker 11 Oh, your team ain't done. I've been told you that.

Speaker 18 Don't do that. Don't do that.
Don't do that. Because they always told you that.
Don't do that. Because if we won the day, if we had won the game today, we would have had a chance.

Speaker 11 But I told you you weren't going to win. I told you you're going to lose your legs.
I told you how many games. Chad,

Speaker 11 how many times did y'all hear me tell him, oh, Joe, y'all about to lose out. And although the window is open, Joe Burrow is back at practice a little ahead of schedule.

Speaker 11 The 21-day window is open. He ain't coming back.
Come back for what?

Speaker 18 It's all good. It's all good.
It's all good.

Speaker 11 It's all good.

Speaker 11 In a battle of 7-2 teams that would give the winner sole possession of first place in the NFC West, Sam Darno threw one, two, three, four.

Speaker 11 INTs, no touchdown passes, and Seattle lost 21-19 to the Rams. Darnold delivered his worst performance of the season.

Speaker 11 The Seahawks entered week 11, NFL's third highest scoring team, despite 16 turnovers, including 10 by Darnold, which is tied for the second most. But they couldn't survive four more giveaways today.

Speaker 11 Yo.

Speaker 11 Have you lost any faith? Absolutely. Sam Darnold was 29 of 44, 279, zero touchdowns for INTs.

Speaker 18 Absolutely not. No faith at all.
Listen, the fact that they do

Speaker 18 four INTs, they only lost 21. Wait, they only lost what? 21-19, huh?

Speaker 18 They only lost 21-19. Okay, Sam Donnell, you had a bad day.
You had a bad day. You've been playing great.
You've been playing great all season long. You know, quarterbacks won't have games like this.

Speaker 18 Quarterbacks are going to have games like this. And this is your one.
Let's get it out of our system now.

Speaker 18 Let's get it out of our system now, you know, and going forward, let's get back to the regularly scheduled program on how we've been flowing offensively very smooth.

Speaker 18 We've been running the ball through the air. We've been great.
Yeah, him and Jackson had another good day today. And

Speaker 18 I think Ngigwa had what, nine for 106?

Speaker 11 Yeah. Yep, nine for one.
Yeah, nine for 105.

Speaker 18 You know, you look good in that area.

Speaker 11 And I think if you, if you crazy, man, he just going, he going hastily. He's crazy.
Dude, gonna get 2,000.

Speaker 18 He will.

Speaker 11 He probably, he probably. He had 12.
He had, hold on. They got seven games to go.
He's at 1,200, Over 1,200 now.

Speaker 18 Yeah. And the funny thing about it.

Speaker 11 How many yards does JSN have?

Speaker 18 He hit the thousand-yard mark, I think, last week, a week before last.

Speaker 11 Oh, yeah, yeah. He over there.

Speaker 11 He got 1146. So

Speaker 11 he's

Speaker 11 72 or 70. 72 catches.

Speaker 11 So he's averaging seven catches a game.

Speaker 18 Damn.

Speaker 18 And he's going to have about two or three games.

Speaker 18 He goes crazy, though. So he definitely.

Speaker 11 The game last week when they were blowing everybody out and he came out. That was a game.
He needs games like where they're close and they're going back and forth.

Speaker 11 So that way he's going to be in there and he'll get a 10, 12, 13, 14 catch game, 185, 200.

Speaker 11 Because you got to have, you need, you need one game, Ocho, where you get to

Speaker 11 215, 220. Yeah.

Speaker 11 Because I think that was the year that Megatron, was that the year that Megatron broke that record when he had that 329 against the Cowboys? Remember he had the 329 against the Cowboys.

Speaker 11 And then he needed 329. He needed eight yards.
No, he needed 10 yards, 11 yards.

Speaker 11 Yeah.

Speaker 11 Yeah.

Speaker 11 To break Flip because Flip got, I think, well, Flip got 33. 336.

Speaker 18 Yeah, Flip and Anderson. Yep, 336.
That's the record.

Speaker 11 That's so I was like, damn, he's gonna get there, he's gonna get the record.

Speaker 18 A lot of yards, why

Speaker 11 crazy on the same song that Sunday night?

Speaker 18 Hey, that's a lot of yards, man. Shoot, Julio.

Speaker 11 I play, I actually play with

Speaker 11 him.

Speaker 18 Julio had Julio had against the Carolina Panthers.

Speaker 11 He had 300.

Speaker 18 That's crazy,

Speaker 11 Flipper Anderson.

Speaker 18 Yeah, oh, that's crazy.

Speaker 11 Flip only, Flip Only came, Flip came out

Speaker 11 in 80

Speaker 11 and 88.

Speaker 11 Flip came out in 88. He came out with my brother.

Speaker 11 He came with my brother.

Speaker 11 Because it was Tim, my brother, Mike Irvin,

Speaker 11 Aaron Cox,

Speaker 11 Anthony Miller, Flipper Anderson.

Speaker 11 Pharaoh Levins was a tight end drafted.

Speaker 11 Keith Jackson, old Nellie from Oklahoma was a tight end that was drafted.

Speaker 11 Yeah.

Speaker 11 He came up with my brother. He's a second-round pick.
Yeah.

Speaker 11 Aaron Cox with the Aaron Cox with the first-round pick.

Speaker 11 But look, Matthew Stafford again, two touchdowns, no interceptions. Clean game.
Now he has, how many touchdowns does Aaron

Speaker 11 Matthew? 27. Like 25.
He's like 25 inches.

Speaker 18 27 to 2 now, I think.

Speaker 11 27. Should be.

Speaker 18 Ask Ash if I'm right.

Speaker 18 27

Speaker 18 27 to 2. Yeah.

Speaker 11 He's going to win the MVP.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 18 Damn, unless Jonathan Taylor come out and have two

Speaker 11 crazy. And he still can, because he's a threat to get 200.
Hey, would I be surprised if he got 200, had two, two more, two, two more, 200-yard games? No.

Speaker 11 180, 190? No.

Speaker 18 Stafford ever won MVP before? No, huh?

Speaker 11 Okay. Never.

Speaker 18 Yeah,

Speaker 11 he finished. They're going to get to him.
I think it just said he finished. He got one vote.
He finished eighth was the best he's finished.

Speaker 18 And you know what's funny?

Speaker 18 Remember Stafford

Speaker 18 Heard All Training Camp?

Speaker 11 Uh-huh. He's back.
Yeah.

Speaker 11 Didn't he sign a deal this offseason? Didn't he sign a three-year deal for like $120 something?

Speaker 18 Hey,

Speaker 18 I think he preserved that arm from training camp.

Speaker 11 No, he could play. I mean he's a great guy having met the guy his wife

Speaker 11 Two year 84

Speaker 11 so

Speaker 11 42 mil

Speaker 11 Give me a tack on another year if I went to MVP tack on another year

Speaker 11 80 guaranteed

Speaker 11 But uh

Speaker 11 they doing it man

Speaker 11 the Rams were good. But I remember having this conversation.
I said, Ocho, and we're going to talk about the Packers here in a second. But I was like, are we sure?

Speaker 11 Are we sure? Even with Micah, the Packers are better than the Rams. Are we sure they're better than the Rams?

Speaker 18 And I was one that stood on the table for the Packers that they are better or just as good if Jordan Love is playing football the right way.

Speaker 18 If he's playing the quarterback position the way I know he can play it. If he's not,

Speaker 18 then it's looking it's looking shady it's looking ugly but if he played the way i know he can play

Speaker 18 to me it's damn near even

Speaker 11 the packers pulled off a 20 uh pulled out a 20 20 a 27 20 win over the giants jordan love overcome his soldier shoulder injury somebody forgot to tell him he's not derrick henry shouldn't be but anyway after scoring just 20 points combined in their previous two games losses against the panthers and the Eagles, 16-13 lost to the Panthers, 10-7 lost to the Eagles.

Speaker 11 The Panthers hit their magic number of 27. They've scored exactly 27 points, not a point more, not a point less, and five of their six wins this season to improve to 6-3-1.

Speaker 11 Jordan Love, 13-24, 174, two touchdowns.

Speaker 11 They didn't run the ball. Romeo, Romeo, wherefore are thy hands, Romeo?

Speaker 11 Christian Watson came up big today, had a big-time catch, a big time tough.

Speaker 11 That was really the difference in the ballgame. And then Michael Parsons closed it out with a strip sack that ended it.
He ended up having a sack and a half.

Speaker 11 Wilson, a lot of people

Speaker 11 are going to say, Jameis threw interception. That's on Jalen Hyatt.
I don't know.

Speaker 11 You cannot. He stopped.

Speaker 18 He stopped.

Speaker 11 Yes, Ocho. If you got an outbreak and route, I don't give a damn if the corner is outside of you.

Speaker 11 You can't pull up because the corner is out there, because the cornerback is throwing it on anticipation.

Speaker 11 He don't know that you're going to pull up, so he's throwing it where he anticipates you to be.

Speaker 18 You can't do that.

Speaker 11 You can't do that. Oh, my goodness, DC.

Speaker 11 This is why I can't. Chad, now y'all see why I can't coach.

Speaker 18 Hey, Unc, that's a teaching lesson. That's why you should be coaching.

Speaker 11 I ain't got to teach you that. You know that.
You can't pull up on a damn route.

Speaker 18 You got to know that. You can't allow the body of the person there to deter you from getting to your position.

Speaker 18 If anything, if you got the corner route and he's already sitting out there, you want to beat him to the punch, beat him to the position, put your body, put your body in between the ball and him.

Speaker 18 If he knocks, if or beat him a break,

Speaker 18 if he knocks it down or you make a play on it, one or the other. But you can't, you can't pull up.
Guess what?

Speaker 11 And when I knock it down, guess what? I'm gonna do Ocho.

Speaker 11 Yeah,

Speaker 11 straight out.

Speaker 11 Yeah.

Speaker 18 Either way, you got to give yourself a chance in that in that situation you got to get you got to give your quarterback a chance you got to help your quarterback out there

Speaker 11 oh my goodness these guys bro i see so many guys all the time ojo the guys running the guys running an inbreaking route where the guys inside he pull up like the quarterback they're like oh he gonna pull up because the guy's inside you gotta go you gotta go get it colliding you gotta break that up because if you don't it's gonna be a pick which it was

Speaker 11 i'm like George, have mercy.

Speaker 18 I mean, listen,

Speaker 11 Jameis, what was Jameis today? Jameis was 19 of 29, 201, one touchdown. He was sacked twice.
Tracy ran hard in the absence of Scatterboo. 19 carries, 88 yards.

Speaker 11 Singletary had 16 for 44, 38 rush attempts, 142 yards. Interim head coach Mike Kafka claimed close, but was unable to get a win.

Speaker 11 Major Love was 13 of 24, 174, two touchdowns. Josh Jacobs was injured in this game and did not return.
So that's an injury that we're probably going to need to pay attention to

Speaker 11 and to see how serious that injury is.

Speaker 11 Bears beat the Vikings 19-17 with a game-ending field goal set up by Devin Duvernay. A 56-yard kickoff return.
J.J. McCarthy, inaccuracy, dooms the Viking.

Speaker 11 McCarthy completed 16 of 32 passes for 150 yards, a touchdown, but he had two interceptions. Most of his pass attempts were affected by pressure.

Speaker 11 The Bears blitzed on fewer than 40% of the snaps, and the four-man rush only reached JJ three of 19 snaps.

Speaker 11 JJ McCarthy, 16 of 32, 150, as I mentioned, one touchdowns, two interceptions. He wasn't sacked, but he did look good.

Speaker 11 Jefferson had five catches, 61 yards. Hawkinson was three for 39.
Addison was two for 20. Naylor one of 16, but he did catch a touchdown.

Speaker 11 They They didn't run the ball. Chicago says, you know what? We're going to see if you can do.
They

Speaker 11 returned the favor. Remember the first game? It was

Speaker 11 McCarthy, that game-winning drive. They ended up beating the Bears.
Kayla Williams is getting more and more comfortable. He had 16 of 32, 193.
He didn't throw a touchdown.

Speaker 11 He didn't have an interception. He

Speaker 11 had a fumble, but it was recovered.

Speaker 11 They ran the ball 39 times for a buck 40. Nothing outstanding, but man, he hard to get.
Look, they got two sacks on him. They probably should have had it about five or six times.

Speaker 11 How he gets

Speaker 11 predicament sometimes.

Speaker 18 He's in the body there. Hey, listen,

Speaker 18 one of the few quarterbacks in the NFL

Speaker 18 that can extend plays. He can play off script, you know.
And obviously, when a play is called, he's one of those, when a play breaks down, he can make something out of nothing.

Speaker 18 He can make something out of nothing. And

Speaker 18 you add that talent that he already has, you know, the escapability, the ability to extend plays with the creativity of ben johnson listen it's it's a match is a match it's a match made in heaven there's a reason why yeah they are where they are there's a reason why their record looks like it looks and i understood what would happen when you get a when you get a head coach like ben johnson and you put him with a talent like caleb williams there's a reason why they're having success this year um he's he's done very well not turning the ball over he's not turnover prone as opposed to how he was last year and they playing well

Speaker 11 oh Joe, if I'm not mistaken, the Bears are in first place in that deal. Yeah, how do you know?

Speaker 11 Because the Lions lost tonight. The Lions are 6-4.
They're 7-3.

Speaker 18 What did I tell you? Who are the two teams I told you to watch out for before the season started when I talked to you in August?

Speaker 11 Yeah.

Speaker 18 The Bears and the Panthers. I told you.
I'm telling you, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to this game of football. I know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 11 Brock Purdy.

Speaker 11 We're going to go to the 49ers. Brock Purdy throw three touchdowns in his return from a toe injury as the 49ers cruise 41-22 over the sloppy cards.

Speaker 11 Purdy completed 19 of 26 passes for just 200 yards, but Christian McCaffrey extended his NFL record with his 17th career game, at least one running touchdown and a catching and a receiving touchdown.

Speaker 11 The Cardinals were called for a franchise record, 17 penalties, which was almost the most for any team in an NFL season this season.

Speaker 11 They had 11 penalties in the first half, which was tied for the most before halftime for any team over the last 20 years. Jacoby Brissette started

Speaker 11 his fifth game. Oh, Joe, he was 47 to 57.
That's 452, two touchdowns, but he did have four interceptions.

Speaker 11 They didn't run the ball. They couldn't.
He had two receivers. Wilson.
15 catches, 85 yards. McBride, 10, 115.
Dortch, 6 for 66.

Speaker 11 So

Speaker 11 he was throwing it all over the place, but unfortunately, those two turnovers undid it. Brock Purdy, 19 of 26, 200 yards, three touchdowns.
McCaffrey had 13 carries, 81 yards, two touchdowns.

Speaker 11 Brian Robinson Jr. had 8 for 24.

Speaker 11 Greg George Kim, six catches, 67 yards, two touchdowns. Jawan Jennings, four for 54.

Speaker 11 Christian McCaffrey, five for 40 and a touchdown.

Speaker 11 Don't look, but the 49ers are seven and four after dealing with all the injuries that they've had Kyle still has the right funny thing about it is everybody's getting healthy at the right time

Speaker 18 everybody getting healthy at the right time and they're gonna hit their stride at the right time

Speaker 18 we're going into we going to the we going into the in December hunt coming up huh

Speaker 18 wait we in November aren't we

Speaker 11 November oh yeah yeah perfect timing perfect timing oh cho Jacoby Brissette started his drip game. He completed a 47-57 pass.
That's a record, huh?

Speaker 11 The 47 completions are the most completions in an NFL game in regulation.

Speaker 18 That boy, hey, he's dealing that thing, boy.

Speaker 11 He dealing.

Speaker 18 He's dealing.

Speaker 18 It didn't come with a win. But one thing about Jacoby, he could sling that thing.

Speaker 11 The Eagles are the number one seed,

Speaker 11 eight and two. The Rams, number two seed, eight and two.

Speaker 11 Chicago Bears, the number three seed, seven and three.

Speaker 11 Tampa would round out the division winners at six and four. And then you have the Seahawks at seven and three.
The fifth seed, Green Bay at six, three, and one. The sixth seed.

Speaker 11 The 49ers are 7-4, the 7th seed. Right now, Detroit would be on the outside looking in.

Speaker 11 as with the Panthers, Vikings, Cowboys, Arizona, and Atlanta, Commanders, and the Saints.

Speaker 11 So right now, the Detroit Lions are the eighth seed.

Speaker 11 But the 49ers are getting healthy, OJo, at the right, right, right time.
