Do you know the symptoms of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea or OSA in adults with obesity? They may be happening to you without you knowing.
If anyone has ever said you snored loudly or if you spend your days fighting off excessive tiredness, irritability, and concentration issues, it may be due to OSA.
OSA is a serious condition where your airway partially or completely collapses during sleep, which may cause breathing interruptions and oxygen deprivation. Learn more at don'tsleeponosa.com.

Jason Kelsey made some interesting comments about the difference between Shanahan offense and the West Coast offenses. Let's take a listen to what Kelsey had to say, Ocho.
I do think there's a reason while there has been a lot of great
offensive coaches that have come from the Shanahan tree and the McVay trees, not a lot of those has transitioned to the Super Bowls.
And I think that if you look at largely the teams that have won Super Bowls over the last decade, most of them have been West Coast offenses that are pretty much grounded on a lot of the Bill Walsh and Andy Reid like lineages or pro-style offenses.
And I think part of that is like
the scheme can be great, but it's going to be really hard to win a Super Bowl with the coach out scheming.
At the end of the day, most of the Super Bowls are won with quarterbacks and players on the field.
Teams that operate out of drop back pass more tend to win Super Bowls more because drop back pass is more important in close games and at end-of-game situations.
And that's why I think the West Coast offense, while it's not as,
you know, as ridiculously interesting as some of the Shanahan principles and things, I think it probably translates when you have great players into more success at the end of the day.
Hey, Uncle I like, I like that a little bit. I like what he's saying.
Obviously, Shanahan's system and the West Coast system, I think it all comes down to obviously having a combination of both, having a combination of great players
with the great quarterback. Because if you have a great quarterback, regardless of the offense that you are running,
whether it's Shanahan-like or if it's West Coast system, being able to manipulate that offense and knowing exactly what you're doing and having the right supporting cast, hell, anything is possible.
Anything is possible. It all comes down to the person at the helm.
who has the ball in his hands the most in his decision making. That's what it comes down to at the end of the day.
Scheme is great.
You know, tactics is great. The system you're running is great, whether it be a Shannon hand-style offense or whether it be the West Coast system offense.
Hell, we've seen the West Coast system offense be successful. Think about how many teams that have a West Coast system that have won the Super Bowl.
The thing, look, in Mike's system,
The West Coast system, they really use the short passing game as their run game.
The true West Coast system, the way Bill Walls ran it, they never had a Terrell Davis. They never had a guy that could hit his head, that could run the ball like that.
And if you go back and study, you look at Green Bay, Green Bay, they had Dorsey Levins.
If you go back and look at the West Coast, the very few teams have had a guy that could run the ball like we had with TD.
And even though you go back and you look at the Broncos, even after TD, they had Mike Anderson and they had Ruben Drones and we had Clinton Porters and they had a number of guys,
they weren't TD.
And so if you look at now McCaffrey, you see how he, what they're able to scheme and how they're able to run the ball with McCaffrey.
And still, they still throw a lot. We didn't throw the ball that much to the running backs.
That was my job, Ed's job,
and Rod's, Foot's job, to do the legwork as far as the passing game. Yeah, we threw a couple screens, but we weren't a great screen team like
the 49ers 49ers are with Kyle, like they are with McVay.
We were not a good screen team. We were a toss-it-handed, weak side zone team.
Stop it if you can. And then we're going to play action off of that.
We're going to run boot.
We're going to run fullback slide, drag slide, we're going to run overs. And we dare you to stop.
You know what I do like, too, about the West Coast System Monk?
And for those that are in the chat, to give you a different perspective, especially when it comes to soccer, I want you to think about the Barcelona teams.
You know, the early days of Messi, when obviously they kill you with 100 passes, you know, ticky tagger, ticket, ticket, ticky. That's what I think about the West Coast system, huh?
You know, being able to have 14, 15, 17, 18 play goddamn drives, and it's damn demoralizing for a defense because there's no way to stop you because you always able to find the mismatch based on whoever it is at the helm controlling the ball and having the ball in their hands the most.
And
when it's done the right way,
when it's done the right way, it's the most beautiful thing in the world. The most beautiful thing in the world to watch.
But if you look at it, you look at Andy Reid was in that system. Andy Reid,
you look at every, because he came from Michael Hongren,
John Gruden, all those guys,
Mariuchi, all those guys with under Hongren who came up on that system. Mike went directly to San Francisco and got that from Bill Walsh himself.
And so you see all the guys that came from Shanahan, Kyle Shanahan, McVay, all those guys,
LaFleur,
O'Connell, all those guys. And so you see a variation of it.
They do a lot of, got their own, put their own spin on the locho, but that's what it is.
But none of them has really had a guy that can run the football like a TD.
And so that's the only thing that's missing from the West Coast that I was in compared to what we see now. They throw a lot more.
They throw away. the game has changed now the game has changed now
so they're gonna throw the ball more than we ran it we ran more than we threw matter of fact what is what is um mr campbell and the detroit lions is is that not not west coast a little bit
i don't know he on the par sales so he got most of his tutelage under par sales okay because they they they they kill you with those damn on those damn crossing routes over and over Yeah,
they run a lot of shallows. They run a lot of in cuts.
They do a lot of three by runs, a lot of bunches.
They do a lot of motion. But hey, think about the 49ers, huh? Think about the
49ers, especially that year they went to the Super Bowl with Perl when they faced the Chiefs. That is
beautiful football in every sense of the word. Because
they can start at their five-yard line and dink and dunk and dink and dunk.
and dunk and and scream play the goddamn mccaffrey chunk play the mccaffrey you know running off tackle running through a gap and just it's just a continuous.
And when it's done the right way, when you have a quarterback that's making all the right decisions, and as great as Shanahan is, is finding the mismatches and making sure you play to your player's strengths, putting them in, make those plays.
It's a beautiful thing. I know you don't know anything about soccer, but
I could show you a clip. I could just show you a clip of Barcelona playing.
And it's like the death of a thousand passes.
And they're just going back to back and they're almost lulling the defense to sleep.
Lulling the defense to sleep until the right time. And it's just, before you know it, the goddamn goal
in the back of the net. You don't know what the hell happened.
Yeah.
Tell me somebody.
Clinton Porter. Clint Porter was unbelievable.
He had way more talented. He
had way more talent than TD.
But he didn't take it as serious as TD.
Clinton Porter should be in the Hall of Fame. That boy would.
Hey,
Clinton Porters had 3,100 yards and 31 touchdowns in two seasons. Shit.
Two seasons. Nice, boy.
Yes.
Porter's wanted to do man. Hey, y'all used to run that stretch, that stretch with Porter.
Yes.
I think Peyton used to run that a lot, too. I mean, we looked at the quarterback almost falling.
They get that stretch out there. Oh, my God.
Yes. And hey, Porter's a whole lot.
And then we play pass off over to throw the ball over your head. Portus a whole last stretch long and cut back across that green.
Boy.
Good night, Irene.
And once Porters hit that second level, Uncle.
Oh, you're getting good luck getting him back.
But
if Porter would have taken it seriously, Ocho, do you know how many times on a
Saturday night
I sit up in my room room
at the bed check.
I see who leaving.
If I see who leaving, who do you think you'll see him leaving? Coach.
That's why he traded him.
Who's going to trade a running back? Think about it. He's offensive rookie of the year.
He goes to the Pro Bowl. The guy that he beats out for a Pro Bowl spot is Ladanian Thomason.
Ladanian Thomason has 1,600 rush yards and 100 catches in a season, and Porter's beat him out for the Pro Bowl.
Damn. Mike traded him
because of that.
I have a question. He wouldn't want to work out.
Wait, he was lazy?
Hold on. Coming from a program like the University of Miami, where everything is predicated.
I don't know where he came from. I'm telling you what he was when he got to them.
I'm telling you what he was doing. Wait, the way them boys were coming out to you,
I just thought thought that that transition would have stuck, especially going into the league.
Man, man, Porter came to the game one time, hung over, told me, I'm finished. All right, man, I can't play today.
You better get your ass out there and run some gas, run that look out, get your ass, and do a contrast.
They ain't got nothing to do with Mike. Mike ain't no portal looking down your throat.
I bet he had one hell of a game, too.
A monster.
A monster game.
Man, Poe, I I say, Pope, man, why you won't do right?
He'll tell you. He'll tell you himself.
I mean, I got.
I mean, I thought it was just going to be a matter of time. I didn't think he was going to trade him because I did all I could, you know, being a veteran presence there, trying to do all I could.
Come on, Pope, man. Damn.
Just do right.
Hey, matter of fact, wait, who would he replace with?
Pope come to practice and wouldn't even have his shoes tied and they couldn't tackle him.
Hey, matter of fact, you know what? If Coach made that decision to let Porters go, that means there had to be somebody behind him that they trusted or that maybe not as, maybe not as good,
but we can do just by.
They are,
who's that?
I think it was maybe
Ruben Drones. I think it was Ruben.
I remember Ruben.
I remember.
He ended up rushing for $1,200. Hey, what's the running back? Did you play with the running back?
You didn't play with Travis Henry played in Denver too, didn't didn't he?
No, I was gone.
Yeah, Trav was gone. I was gone when Trav got there.
I don't know why I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking about running backs.
I wonder what had Travis Henry doing.
You know,
he did some time, Ocho.
No, not talking about the running back play for the Bill. Travis Henry? He did some time, Ocho.
I didn't know that.
Yeah.
Damn.
Speaking of Hall of Fame, Terrell Suggs went on Johnny's Glory Days podcast and talked about Antonio Brown's upcoming pro football Hall of Fame candidate. Suggs said he's a first ballot.
Is he a first ballot? I wouldn't think so. The off-the-field stuff, they're going to shy away from that probably until it gets resolved.
They let another murderer in the 90s.
Hold on. They let another murderer in the 90s.
I bet you if they could, they would have waited. Like,
we might not want to put this guy in this fraternity just yet. Hey, uh,
I don't think, I don't think, because you got to think about it. T.O.
had nothing. Look, should AB be a first of all, let me say this.
Should he be a first ballot based on what he did?
Wait, Charles, you see that? Yes.
Yes.
But
with T.O., they changed the bylaws. They said what you did off the field and what you did in the locker room or on the sidelines could be weighed against you.
So you see how they did that, huh you see how they were able to move the goalposts you see how they were able to move the goalposts and and having the power to control
having the power to be able to control when and who not to let in when they're tired the criteria for making the pro football hall of fame is conducted and based off what you do in between the goddamn lines so now now we now
they change yeah they change it they change it for for in their favor So if you don't conduct yourselves in the manner in which we see fit away from the game of football, now we can chastise you for it we can chastise you for it i mean listen a b is a bona fide hall of famer no matter what i understand what he's done off the field i even understand some of the stuff he's done on the field but when he was when it was time to go when you talk about the story you talk about some of the greatest nfl receivers that ever played this mother i almost cursed
greatest receivers that ever played this game you can't tell a story without mentioning antonio goddamn brown
You're right.
I think he's talking about OJ, but OJ was already in. That's the one thing about that fraternity.
Once you're in, they can't take you out. You're there for perpetuity.
So I think he was talking about OJ, but OJ was already in, so there's nothing you can do. Now, maybe at USC, they removed some of his paraphernalia or they took him.
I don't know.
But in the NFL, once you go into that building, you're in that building.
I just think the thing is, Ocho, I just think he's going to have to wait. They made T.O.
wait three rounds. T.O., if T.O.
is not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, the man
had the third most catches. I think at the time of his retirement, he had the second most receiving yards,
over a thousand yards.
There's only been three men that's been a first-team all-pro with three different men, with three different teams. Deion Sanders, Ted Hendrix, and one T.O.
So, three men in the history of the game has been a first-team all-pro with three different teams. T.O.
led San Francisco in yards. He led
Buffalo in yards. He led Philly in yards.
He led Dallas in yards. He led Cincinnati.
Five teams. Five.
Yeah. T.O.
the horse.
You know what I don't like? I don't like the fact that
they hold so much power. They control everything.
They're able to control everything. And you have players.
You have players. that played extremely well at a very high level, consistently for a very long time.
And you have people that are able to control you know and and if it it affects a lot of players that want to be a part of that fraternity so bad you want to be so you have to you have to pander to it you know you and you it you it's it's out of your control so if you you can't even almost you can't even be yourself you have to be
something different you have to conform to what they want you to be like while you're playing the game in order to be a part of this over here because of what it means one of the greatest if not the greatest achievement as an NFL player,
but or
and the thing is, I mean, I don't know if he's talking about OJ, but OJ was acquitted.
Now, you might think he did it, or he knows who did it, or he had something to do, but he went before 12 men and women and they said not guilty.
After that, we can come up with conjecture and speculation and innuendo all we want. But at the end of the day, he went before a jury of his peers
and they heard all the evidence and they said not guilty. But I don't, like I said,
is A.B. a Hall of Famer? Yes.
Do I think he's going to have a hard time getting in based on his history of his off-the-field activity and the way he conducted himself in Pittsburgh?
Because you got to realize, Ocho, when you go before the board, somebody,
Ed Bouchette, would probably have to be his presenter. So he would have to get up there and says, okay, Antonio Brown, he had this many catches, had this this this and this
but also
so you see how that goes now some you know some guys like hey tom brady guy go say
peyton manning the guy just
ain't say a word peyton manning sat back down tom brady gonna be same thing sit back down Some guys, you know, offer Jerry Rice, sit back down. MS Mill,
you know, some things like that. But I think he's going to have a hard time getting in base because, like you said, it's 50 men and women.
And every man and woman knows a B story.
It is what it is.
Jared Judy didn't exactly calm things down over this week when asked by the media about the Shador sideline exchange. In fact, Cleveland is up in arms over him saying it's the media's fault.

Hello, hello. I'm Malcolm Gladwell, host of the podcast Smart Talks with IBM.
I recently sat down with IBM's chairman and CEO, Arvind Krishna, and I asked him, how can companies use AI to its fullest potential to create smarter business?
My one advice to them, pick areas you can scale. Don't pick the shiny little toys on the side.
For example,
if anybody has more than
10% of what they had for customer service 10 years ago, they're already five years behind.
If anybody is not using AI to make their developers who write software 30% more productive today, with the goal of being 70% more productive.
So we are not asking our clients to be the first experiment on it. We say you can leverage what we did.
We are happy to bring out all our learnings, including what needs to change in the process, because the biggest change is not technology.
It's getting people to accept that there's a different way to do things.

Probably taught them off camera. You feel me?
That's probably what I would have done differently. You know,
of course, I'm a speaker mind and tell me what, and say what I need, what I see out there.
But, you know,
it is what it is. Football, man, me and Shadow good.
You know, stuff like that happens.
You know, y'all gonna make it bigger than what it is, you know, because of the media, you know, and that's what y'all feed off of negativity, you know, but it is what it is. This is the life you live.
So,
you know, we move on from it.
And I live a real life, you know, so what happened around in this locker room you know just real not now what's going on on social media and everything so me and shadow good everything good man we're grave over here
every everything is magnified everything is magnified especially when you're losing obviously all the turmoil all the questions all the all the
nor that because everything was magnified with was it magnified because what about the eagles
it was magnified
And
their situation is magnified because even though they were winning during that time, he had issues. You had certain people, individuals coming out,
having their displeasures, posting stuff on social media. So
it created a firestorm. So it gave the media something to talk about.
Over there,
excuse me, over there in Cleveland, obviously the interaction between Judy, the animated interaction between Judy and Goddamn Sanders on the sideline is something
not new. not new but it's new it's new to them it's new to them uh two players that are not on the same page and their way of communicating.
It wasn't the right way to communicate.
It wasn't the right way. Now, if they were winning, if they were winning and
they were playing well all season long, oh, there wouldn't be no problems. Something that they just
sweep right up under the rug.
But listen, she do her second start.
Two of them, they're going at on the sideline. Oh, we got a motherfucking story now.
Yeah, talk to me, baby.
Why he got to be the media? The media job is to report what it sees. Absolutely.
You got these
demonstrative antics. What do you think they think? And I told you, it could have been nothing, Ocho.
But when you get animated like this,
and Shadur was sitting down, and then all of a sudden Shadur stands up and said, what do you think? Absolutely. Hey, can I tell you something? Just say, look, guys.
Yeah,
I could have handled that situation better. I'm the vet in this situation.
I should have handled that situation a lot better than what I did. I saw something one way, he saw it another way.
Whatever differences we had, that could have been resolved behind closed doors. I was always conscious of that, OJ, because I know, you know, I'm demonstrative, because I already know.
So now you start yelling, I start yelling, you say something, and the one thing I don't ever want to go across a bridge that I can't go back across.
You say something in the heat of the moment.
You know, drunk kids and angry people are telling you how they truly feel about you. So you have to be careful when you're angry about what you say.
So I was always conscious of that. If I had something to say to the quarterback, be it John, be it Grease, be it Tony Banks, Trent,
Drake Plumber, I always like, bad bro, this is what I was thinking.
And so forth and so on. But by the same token, I expected them to, you know, to give me that kind of grace also.
Because I promise you, you show me up, you're not going to like my grace.
Because if you bring it to me, I got to give it back to you.
Because I got to make sure you get it. Because
I don't want anybody to say, well, I didn't get what you was. Yeah, you got this here.
So that's why I was always conscious, knowing the cameras was around, even not as many cameras as they have now, Ocho. But I understood.
People in the stands, you getting animated. They get animated.
Ain't nothing going on. I told you, I told you it happened to me one time.
Yeah, just like that but mine was mine was in the field of play oh we we monday night football we playing we playing the stealers i'm already frustrated because they're not able to give me the ball everything they doing ike right in front of me safety over top so you already know i'm frustrated so the ball when i do get the balls i mean the balls that do come to me it's gonna be very few
And the one, boy, I'm open. I beat the double team.
The ball is not supposed to come to me. I told Carson on this, just give me a shot.
i'm gonna work these boys and unkn he overthrew he overshot it a little bit and lo and behold you know the camera already on me man
you know i already keep one chin strap already unbuckled man i snap the other when i'm mad going back to the huddle carson met me
carson met me halfway before you got off
the field If you ever
motherfucking show me up like that again, I won't throw you another motherfucker ball the rest of the game. Just like that.
Not playing no games. But I ain't say nothing the rest of the game.
I ain't say nothing to the rest of the game because I understood who had the control and being able to get that ball to me.
Yeah. But one time.
It took me one time.
Never had an issue again.
Because I know how I am, Ojo.
Look, I understand. His job is
not.
And not.
But I'm like, man,
I wanted to say some stuff.
But
nah,
I'm not going to show him up because you know what happens? You show the guy up, he throws it to you, you drop it.
The ball goes through your hands, then it gets picked. Now, everybody looking at you sideways.
You say you wanted it, he threw it to you, you threw it back at him, or you let, hey, you gave it to the other guy.
I was always mindful of that, OJ.
I really am.
And even in, I remember in college, I used to like, just throw it. Just throw it out there.
And I'm just like, Coach Dave would grab me and say, son, I say, Coach, we go over this every day in practice. They can't guard me.
That's all I'm saying. Coach, just give me a chance.
Just put it up.
But
I just like, like I said,
everybody is not
as versed as dealing with the media because you understand, Ocho.
It's a skill to that.
It is, Ocho. I was very, very fortunate because I remember in college, I'm standing in front of a mirror.
I'm talking to myself. They asked me a question.
I had a good game.
This is how I'm going to respond. This is how I'm going to ask.
If I had a bad game, I had a couple of drops. I missed some assignments.
This is how I'm going to do it. So by the time I got there, I'm like, okay.
You know, I'm looking at other guys. I see Steve Atwater, how he talk.
I see Dennis Smith, how he talks. I hang around a little while and watch L.
Way, see how he talked to the media.
I'm like, okay, okay, a little bit of okay.
Try to stay level, try to stay, you know, even keel.
not get not get you know too disappointed you know obviously yeah sometimes i'm not gonna have a i'm not gonna have a game i'm gonna have a drop or two in a in a in a tough spot but just trying to just like just be level just to be understanding they got a job to do.
I understand we all have jobs to do. Even though I didn't do my job to the best of my ability, that doesn't excuse me from not helping you do your job.
I always understood that, Ocho, and I tried to be professional, always tried to be professional
in that aspect of it. But it's not easy when you're not playing well.
And
people are like, well,
the guy might have played better if such and such would have played better.
Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know.
It's just, it it's it's but social media is hard now ocho it'd have been you know i i don't know as when i've had fun with social media yeah i probably would have took some shots at some guys i'm playing against absolutely because that's just my nature
i couldn't help it let me see you know what's funny is i didn't i need i didn't need social media i you i use the media to take my shots yeah but you have to understand see you you and i were a little different So my comparison as far as taking shots, I would use a comparison with me and Steve Smith Sr.
Steve Smith Sr., he's taking shots and he meant that. Like he meant every word he said if he's talking about somebody.
Now, my taking shots, my taking shots and sending gifts to the secondary as a whole, you already know it's entertainment.
You already know it's entertainment is more of an invitation as to the competition and making sure, boy, you better be on your on your P's and Q's come Sunday. Better be on your best behavior.
Because I listen, I already gave you bullets and boy material. Now it's it's up for you to be able to stop it.
That's all. That's all.
I mean, but oh man,
well, if I could, if I could do it again, I'd do it the same way and add some more to it, boy.
Hey, I done came up with some great ideas watching today's game that I wish I was still playing. I can go back and implement it then.
Yeah. Bad spitty, bad spinny, bad spitty.
I've been watching Smitty because I was I played a couple years.
Like I said, my last year in Baltimore, I went to the Pro Bowl, which was his first year, which was 2001. Samini's first year was 2001.
Same year. And
he was at the Pro Bowl as a return of that year. So that was my really first introduction to him.
And, you know,
he has been always cool to me. He's always been respectful.
He's always been great.
But, man, just watching him play.
He angry. He played like he's 6'5.
He's literally angry. Now, he'll catch a touchdown.
And if it means that after I catch this touchdown and celebrate, I got to whip your ass in the corner of the earth though, I'll do that too.
If I got to fight you in the middle of the feet, hey, man, no,
you have to understand. Hey, chat, I don't know if y'all know.
Does the chat know that Steve and I played at Santa Monica Junior College in L.A.?
We played on the same team. So what the people, what the world saw once he got to the NFL, hell, I saw that in 1997 and 1998 in L.A.
He was the exact same way.
He was a pit bull. He was angry.
Nobody might not have pissed him off, but his style of play was like somebody did something wrong to him, like somebody pissed him off.
Yeah, and he said, you know, he had he's dealing with some issues, and you know, he's gotten counseling, and he got counseling, got better, but he's a lot better now.
Man, Smithy used to be like, like, Smitty, damn,
all the time, all the time, you on 12, fighting. Hey, listen, he whooping teammates, he whipping his teammates, he whipping the other team.
You know, it don't matter who it is. Yeah,
he like sharp man
don't play with me
hey would he say don't play with him and leave that alone
he mean that now
don't let that size fool you he gonna talk everybody be talking like they talk reckless now
he's still hey he's still on that type of time now absolutely
he's still on that type of time Hey, what up, y'all? It's DJ Envy from the Breakfast Club. Now, picture this.

If anybody is not using AI to make their developers who write software 30% more productive today with the goal of being 70% more productive,
So we are not asking our clients to be the first experiment on it. We say, you can leverage what we did.
We're happy to bring out all our learnings, including what needs to change in the process, because the biggest change is not technology.
It's getting people to accept that there's a different way to do things.

Another streak that might be coming to an end. Ocho Mike Evans needs to average
172 yards per game in the remaining five games to hit 1 000 mark for the 12th consecutive season evans is currently tied with jerry right for the most consecutive streaks at 11.
the only difference is evans all came to start a career
uh will he make history ojo it would be hard it would be hard i'm not i'm not i'm not sure if if if they can find a way to get in the ball to be able to average that many yards with all the talent that they have over there offensively.
Bucky Irvin's now back, he's healthy. Um,
playing out his mind,
Tez Johnson.
So, so I think it would be difficult, especially when he when he does come back, I think defenses are still going to focus on him.
I think they're still going to focus on him based on what he based on his resume and what he's done over an extended period of time and how dangerous he is in one-on-one situations.
Has anybody ever averaged 172 yards, 172 yards over five games? That's very difficult to do.
Hell yeah.
Hey, this ain't maddening.
That's almost 800, 60, 800 yards in five games.
You know what's funny? Let's say if he was in an offense like maybe the Rams or maybe the offense like the Seattle Seahawks,
I could see him doing it.
I could see it doing it, but that's not the type of offense that they have. He's able to get that.
He's able to get those type type of yards or that consistency for the past 11 years over an extended course of a season, not being able to do it in a short amount of time in a five-game span, unless he goes crazy for a 300-yard game.
And then you consistently have a 75, then maybe a 120. Like, that's different.
They ain't been a whole lot of 300-yard games. There have been a lot of 200-yard games, Locho, and a whole lot of 300.
It's possible.
You play against a team that has a defensive coordinator that says, we playing man,
we don't give a goddamn hell who we playing. You're going to have to show us you can beat us.
It's a possibility. It's a possibility.
Normally, it's a guy with exceptional speed, Ocho, because you got to break a big one.
If you go back and look at when Megatron, Megatron had 15 for 320. I think Megatron had 13 or 14 for 329.
Flipper had 15 for 339.
Who else had a 300-yard game? I think Stefan Page.
I think Stefan Page had Jimmy Smith had 291 against the Ravens in 2000.
There might not have been,
they might be only five, six 300-yard games in the NFL. How many 300-yard games have there been in history?
Six.
Yeah.
Six. Yeah, that's it.
Flip had 330, had 339.
336, yeah. Megatron had 329.
Somebody had 306. Was that Stefan Page?
309. 309.
Megatron, that was again Dallas, wasn't it?
Who'd he play for?
Ooh. Crazy Legs?
Jim Benton? No, I don't know no Jim Benton. I was going to say Tom Fierce.
No.
Who he played for? Detroit.
Ooh.
In the 50s. oh hell no i get it he played in the 50s we can we can't count those we don't know if that the field was actually
who was it
oh julio had 300 on the head against oh yeah when he put when he uh caught that ball off the head
yeah oh kikley a
julio wasn't
gangster
voice box
wow
man that's a
that's a lot that's a that's a that's a lot. That's a lot.
I mean, you know, you've had guys had some 250s, 260s, 270s. Like I said, Jimmy Smith had 291 against us.
Terrence Small, I've been on the field. A couple of guys had two.
Terrence Small had 200 against us one year up with New Orleans.
On that Monday night game, did Stephon Page have another 200-yard game against the Broncos in 1990?
Ocho, you had a 260. Chase had a 265.
I had a 260, a 260, a 209, and a 190.
Like,
three weeks back to back. I'm talking about going crazy.
I don't know what the hell I ate. Well, I know what I ate, eight McDonald's.
But
I went bananas.
Okay.
336, 329.
Wow.
Hey, the NFL need to let me come back, man. At least let me come back and kick.
And do what? Kick, be a kicker. Because listen,
the game is not
how many he had that night.
I was on the feet. And Stephon Page had 206 against us on a Monday night.
I remember that. Yeah.
He must he
bet he was a small receiver, huh?
Yeah, he was cooking us.
I like damn.
I ain't really knowing a whole lot about Starbuck on page. You know, I look, I knew, like, obviously, the big time receivers and everything.
But, man, I say, damn, he's cooking slot.
I don't know where he must have lined up off sides because we didn't cover him. They didn't know he was back there.
Because
he was cooking us, OJo.
Giants rookie Jackson Dart said he will not be spending his bye week with friends and family. Dart said, it's all ball for me.
It's all ball. Just study and game plan.
Ocho, how rare is this?
I like it. Very rare.
I like it. Very rare.
But obviously, you have a bye week for a reason. You have a bye week for a reason.
It's a chance for you to mentally reset.
You go spend your time with your family and your friends, man.
Ocho, he got to have a good time to reset. He got five more weeks.
This season is going to be over. He can go reget then.
Stay in the game plan. You can stay in the game plan.
You could do that.
You could do that with your family and your friends. No, you can't.
You know, damn well, you instead of
that playbook old. Let me ask you something.
We in week 14, right?
We in week 14. You're not going to the playoffs.
Enjoy your family and friends.
Get your little mental reset so the next five weeks, you can come in there fresh, mentally reset, and come in there and see if you can finish the season off strong. And it's cute.
I like what you're doing, but like, come on now. Enjoy yourself, man.
I think Steve DeBerg was the quarterback, too,
for the Chiefs.
Man, they were cooking us, man. Steve DeBerg, the quarterback?
Hey, what's the quarterback used to wear the cow? Not the cowboy collar. Had the
Nick Roll. Steve Rogan.
For the Patriots. Yeah, that goddamn donut.
How you play quarterback with a damn donut on?
I think it was the Bird, wasn't it quarterback, wasn't it?
They, man, they run that place, man. They run that because they had Barry Word and Christian LaCoyer.
So, man, when they run that player, Kansas City?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They run it.
And that's what's so amazing. Because Brian Schottenheimer is nothing like his dad.
His dad was like like three yards in a cloud of dust.
Brian Schottenheimer aired nothing out.
He ain't nothing like his dad.
Bye week, what'd you do in your bye week, Ojo? Did you go back to Miami? You go to Vegas? What'd you do?
You know, I don't gamble and I don't party. Hey, bye week, I'm back in Miami relaxing.
I'm in the pool, video games, in the pool, video games, hot tub, cold tub, hot tub, cold tub, video games.
Nothing, nothing to do with football, period.
Yeah.
Asked about your only recorded stat was a tackle on a punt. Yeah, I got you.
Yeah. What would you, you was out there tackling?
Hey, Horan hugged that thing up.
I back beat him too.
I said, oh, he gonna fair catch it. I said, oh, he ain't gonna fair catch it.
You timed it up perfect.
No gain on the plate.
Hey, Shay with that garment, man. Okay.
I was second on the special teams and tackle my first year. I led special teams and tackle my second year.
My first year.
The little damn special team. I did.
My rookie year, I played special teams. I was the wedge buster.
I was the foe on the line. Boy, you too little.
You ain't got enough ass to be no wedge buster. Are you forgetting when I came in as a rookie? I was 240?
Nah, you need to be more than 240 to be the wedge buster.
Hey, look here.
You definitely tried to get a concussion. You the wedge buster.
Because back then, hold on, hold on.
Hold it. Ocho, we just saw.
Oh, man, they had them big old dudes. It might have been Seattle.
And they had 94 and 95 was running out there just cleaning people's clock.
Because back because back
when I got there, don't let you do it. I know Joe, they used to hold hands.
They used to hold hands. So you had a guy, you had two D tackles and an offensive lineman.
So you had damn near over 3,000 pounds in front of you.
Man,
damn.
Man,
we played the Raiders one year
in Barcelona.
Rich
Richard Smith was our special teams coach. Now, I think he's a linebacker coach somewhere.
But he was up in the meeting and says, I want, we're storming the beach. This is Normandy.
We're storming the effing beach. I want someone to go over the top and make a play.
I said, bro, I ain't no special team. I don't know who you're talking to.
It ain't me. Because I had to give up my spot.
As a matter of fact, I gave up my spot to Anthony Leon.
I won't see somebody over the top and make a play.
Sure enough,
kick that thing off
dude caught it they had that three man wedge
a laying over the top broke a leg
broke his leg
broke his leg
oh no
not saying
I had to get up off there Ocho because I had played special teams. I was and Coach Ree, Coach Reed was wondering why, Ocho, I was tired.
Think about it, Ocho.
I'm still the gunner in 92, but now I'm starting to start and play more.
Coach Reed wondered why I'm tired. Coach, I just did a full, I had to beat two guys, do a full line sprint 50 yards, and then you talk about go right into the game.
Okay, I run a play. Okay, we don't get third.
I run a play, ocho. We don't get the first down.
I got to come in and beat a gunner. And he's talking about
get down the field.
so i'm like man please your conditioning got to be crazy crazy
yes because you see hey you see guys tap and come in get a play
just by luck i come out on special teams they get a big punt return that's my fault
But
then was the days. I mean, look, special teams,
I don't know how effective I could have been with this style of a kick, you know, kickoff Ocho and kick return.
Because, you know, hey, boy, we used a blind side, crackbox, them peel blocks. Hey, you better keep it safe.
It's hard to peel blocks.
First of all, you can't do it. You got to do this.
Open your arms up and just stand in the way.
That's the gist of what you can do.
Good boy, hey. Somebody be thinking they're running.
Bro, you think you're running all the way down there? You think they're just going to let you run all the way downfield?
Ain't nobody going to block you?
They're going to catch you.
Hey, you better keep that head on the swivel. You're going to be looking at your earhole.
You got to keep your head on the swivel, boy, Ocho.
You got to keep your head on the swivel. Boy, there was a day, man.
Ocho, I'm just, I was thinking about it, like, I wonder if somebody would have actually said if...
If I wasn't who I was, because I just, like, this was 93.
And Richard Smith, our special teams coach, and we're in a meeting, and he's talking about how he wants us to be violent, he wants us to strike, and everything.
He said, I want to have the best kick-return and plump return. He wants to have the best teams alive.
So he's like,
This is what I want. I want violence.
I want people to be reckless. I want people to be afraid to play the different Broncos special teams.
I say, Rich, you want to lead the NFL in kick returns? He stopped the the film, Ocho. That's what I'm talking about.
This is a pro all-pro tight end saying he want to lead the league and kick off returns. I say, well, take me off.
My man going to make the tackle every time.
Hey, hey. If y'all, if anybody knows Richard Smith, ask anybody, and that was in that feature.
He stopped it. I say, hey, well, you need to take me off because my man going to make the tackle every time.
That's funny, boy. A-Lynn, that's how A-Lynn.
Anthony Lynn used to be coach of the Jazz, used to was the coach. I think he was the coach.
No, he was the coach of the
Chargers. I think he's off his coordinator of the race.
Play with Coach Lynn.
Yeah, I played with him.
Okay.
Yeah.
Richard Smith was a special team coach. A-Lynn had just got there.
But A-Lynn ended up in
making a team. He was a fullback for us, but he made the team on special teams.
he's the bears linebacker coach okay
that's my guy
all right oh yo it's time to get out of here on this it's time for our final saving of the evening it's time for q and a oh man hey hey tell us more about the cookies
now
we're gonna leave cookie where we're at cookie or a husband or boyfriend might be mad because i'm sure somebody gonna there's a plenty of cookies they don't know it ain't just one cookie there's a lot of different type of cookies could be Oreo, oatmeal, raisin, chocolate chip, rich crackle.
If you understand the way God works, cookie is available, huh?
Cookies available.
Not the way. Yeah, my bad.
I forgot you got a little, you got a little situation. Yeah, sure.
Show do.
And y'all see, y'all saw Dr. Bryant talking me through how I should do my relationship.
You saw Dr. Bryant.
I saw, I saw it.
Yeah, yeah, he was, yeah. yeah, I should have been there for that because I got some questions for Miss Bryant.
Well, you want me to put you in touch? I can put it in touch with you now with me. Oh, no,
Samuel said, oh Joe Bye Week was every week with them. Sorry, a bingles.
Dang, oh Joe. He said, y'all was on the bye week everywhere.
I don't know.
I don't, they might have been on the bye week, but I was out there putting them numbers.
Samari Rai 6704 says, Judge Judas is so buns. Smith is right, he's just a jag.
That would be called just what they call Jerry Judas. They call this man Judas now.
Kevin Boat Knight,
if y'all lose in the buffet and locker room,
man, go ahead on man. Hey, who the Broncos got this week, huh?
Uh, who we got this week?
Raiders?
We got the Raiders. Yeah, that's a trap game.
Y'all gonna lose that.
Y'all gonna lose that one.
Didn't I tell you we were gonna sweep the NFC East? Did we not sweep the Naples?
If you understand the way the game of football works, for some reason, the Raiders are gonna beat y'all. Now, I said it here first.
I'm not being disrespectful to Broncos fans.
I'm just saying that's the way football goes.
That's what you want.
You said the commander was going to be. I didn't say that.
How they gonna be called in no, he ain't had no Jaden Daniels.
Old school 513 Cincey, with the Browns opening the
21-day practice windows for Deshaun Watson, do you see him taking another snap with the Cleveland Browns?
That's a great question. I'm not sure.
I'm not sure. Do they throw him in there and he hasn't had any opportunity to have training camp? He hasn't had any opportunity to, you know, to go with the ones.
I don't think so, but I think he's on the roster next year. And if they're not happy with the way the season ends with Shadur at the helm, maybe Deshaun Watson is the quarterback next year.
They still owe him. How much did he still owe Deshaun? Don't they got another year or two on that contract?
They probably still owe him another $70, $80 million.
$46 for Franklin Diamond and then $46 for Matrices. So he is only on the hook for $46 million next year.
That's it.
Yeah, only.
Deshaun Allen, what's up, Unconocho? My question is, how difficult is it for y'all to choose the right agent to represent you and make the right decisions? Well, it's difficult.
I had several agents, the agent that I started with, and then for my second contract, I had a different agent. And for my third contract, I had a different agent.
And so the agent that I got for my fourth contract, 96, he's still my agent today. So almost 30 years I've had one guy.
But it's hard. It all depends on what you're looking for for an agent.
Some agents, all they want to do is contracts. Some agents have an agency where they'll handle everything.
They'll pay your bills. They'll have somebody do your taxes.
They'll do all the other stuff.
Whatever you need, they have, you know,
some people now, you know, a lot of people go to CAA or they go to
WME or they go to, what's the other?
UTA. But they do the wassuer group.
It just all depends because now you want marketing and you want advertisement and you want to try to build a business or you want to do TV.
So it's just, it's hard. I mean, you know, just do your research.
And what are you looking for? That's the main thing you have to ask yourself. What are you looking for?
Are you looking for somebody to just do TV contracts and that's it? Or you want somebody to do TV contracts and position you in TV for when you're done?
That's a whole different story, but it's not easy at all.
I think also, you know what, when you say it's not easy, I think another thing that makes things easy, regardless of
who your agent is, is who the player is you're talking about. Who's the player? What does it do on the field? Because sometimes the player on the field makes the goddamn agent job extremely easy.
Makes it very easy. So I had two agents my whole career.
My first agent, obviously, my rookie year, Jerome Stanley. Jerome Stanley, phenomenal.
Phenomenal.
He said, he set me up big time, not just being my agent.
He set me big time even now where some of the stuff that he put in place during my rookie year still has me able to survive years beyond me playing the goddamn game.
And then obviously after that, I was with the shark, who I consider one of the better agents in the NFL, Drew Rosenhaus. And
I think about the movie Jerry Maguire.
And I picture, you know, that's who Drew is, you know, in real life. Drew and Jerry Maguire.
He's going to squeeze and get you every goddamn penny he can, you know, especially if you got a player that's
of status, big name, you know, oh, he's gonna get you what you want, and he's gonna get you what you need. So, for me, I was very fortunate in only having two agents, and those two I did have.
Jerome Stanley, you know, if I've, I'm sure you'll see this.
If I, if I've never had a chance to tell you thank you, I'm gonna tell you thank you now again because of what you done back then when I was a rookie.
Boy, still to this day, man, I'm floating. Boy, I'm floating high.
I appreciate it.
Yeah, my first agent was my brother's agent because, look, I wasn't gonna make no whole lot of money, and I didn't want to to give up no 3%, 4% or no $63,000.
So
he told my brother he'd do the contract for free. So.
Dylan Bennett, the Falcons have more sacks than the Cowboys, but they don't miss Micah.
True in Ephesus, Micah and Green Bay getting sacks after sack every week. How many sacks does Cowboys defense combined have this year? Combined, I don't think they have 12 and a half.
I hope they got 12 and a half.
I hope.
But Michael, but Michael, Miles Garrett definitely have more sacks than some teams.
Cowboys have 29.
Okay, my bad. Damn, they 20, what, they 20, what, 20-something behind, 21, 22 behind the Broncos? Because I think the Broncos leave with 51.
Broncos going crazy.
That guy, Benito, and what's the other young bull on the other side of Benito?
cooper
what a boy nice boy
who next close to him
uh
yeah and then you got zach allen in the middle so
uh
brandon martinez dallas fans don't let this loss get to you this is the nfc is tougher than the lc watch brian schotenha turn this franchise around we had a bad start but we have a future Just watch.
Why you look up like that? I don't know. I mean,
how many teams in the NFC have double-digit wins? Because I can name two in the AFC that got double-digit wins. The Broncos and the Patriots.
Both of them got, one got 11, the other got 10.
So how many teams in the NFC, since you say it's tougher, have more than a... more than 10 or 11 wins
do you think you think that might be the reason why he's saying it's tougher
Because the level of competition is so even as opposed to the Patriots running through the easy and what he may consider the easy.
No, the Patriots are good and the Cowboys aren't.
That's what I make of that.
That's what I make of it.
TG07-2185. Hey guys, I don't see how the league has no issue replaying a concussion.
We don't need to keep seeing that. Treat it like other gruesome injuries.
I mean.
Okay.
What costs you the game? I hate to say it, but Jerry Jones is going to see, go to the grave before he sees another Super Bowl. Shaking my head.
Look.
They've got to. They have an offense that's capable.
They have one of the the better offenses.
I mean, they, I think they lead the league in total yards, they can score points, they can't stop anybody.
See, now, if you can't stop anybody,
and let's just say for the sake of art, you can't stop anybody, or you get stopped, you settle for three. Next thing you know, I mean, now all of a sudden, it's boom, you down 10-3.
Now you're down 17-3. Now you're down 17-6.
Now you're down 24.
It's hard. It's hard to play like that.
Y'all keep saying the Patriots schedule is pretty easy. Y'all believe the Cowboys can beat the Patriots?
Y'all believe the Cowboys can beat the Broncos? Because if I'm not mistaken, I think the Broncos played the Cowboys.
Y'all realize y'all lost to the Cardinals. So what are the Cardinals going to the playoffs?
Y'all keep on talking about the schedule. Think about it.
Look at the teams that y'all lost to. How the Cardinals looking?
Jacoby Brissette throwing for a thousand yards every game.
And did it on y'all?
Jacoby Brissette got a starting job in the NFL thanks to y'all on a Monday night. Do y'all remember that? Because I do.
Tino Davis,
do y'all know even if Micah, hold up, do y'all know, even with Micah, they were trash.
So I guess they're sanitation now for garbage.
Because which is worse, trash or garbage?
All I know, Green Bay looking pretty good to me. Yeah.
All I know is Green Bay getting out the quarterback. That man got 12 and a half sacks.
Y'all keep, all I know is Micah Parsons has done something no other player has done in his career.
Start their career off with at least double-digit sacks.
He got 12. He started his career with 12 sacks.
Think about all the great players, all the great sackers.
He's the only one that's done that.
Fans NJ,
who love a cookie boy, Santa or Unc?
That's a good one.
Man, bye, homeboy. Bucket, gonna call me tomorrow, man.
What the hell you say, man? Man, what you talking about, man? My phone was blowing up.
Uh, McLover. Uh, I played golf with your brother recently.
Very cool guy. Ocho, you hell, my boy.
Never change. Today's my birthday, fellas.
35. Any advice?
Yeah, live to make to get 36.
What's your advice, OJ?
I'm trying to think. 35.
that was so long ago. I can't.
I can't even. But I remember like, I can't even remember 35.
I was still playing, huh?
No, you weren't. I was just finished.
That was my early transition. I had just finished.
Yeah, I had just finished through. I just, that was my last season.
I retired.
That was good old time.
Man, what I get to be 35 one more time.
Hey, Unc.
I got a joke for you real quick.
Oh, Lord, have mercy. What's the joke? Hey, chat, y'all ready?
What do you call a deaf gynecologist?
A deaf gynecologist. Yeah, what do you call a deaf gynecologist?
What you call him, Mocho? A lip reader.
Oh, Lord, have birth. I'm sorry, chat.
Alex Palaks. Hey, Ocho, I got your man card today.
Should I put you or Joy Galloway as my ex? What you think, Uncle Hey, put me. Put me.
Man, Joy Galloway had speed. Man, that joke was so fast.
He was fast. And hey, always hold the ball like this.
He pawned the ball. He rumbled the ball at eight.
But Joey was fast, boy.
Yeah, man.
He was with Seattle first before he got traded to the Cowboys. So he's with Seattle, so we saw him twice a year.
Man, that pigeon-toed rascal could run, boy. Oh, Joe, man, the first time I saw him, that Joe was so pigeon-toed, I didn't know where to say hello or throw bird seed.
But that's, I know, Ojo.
Hey, one thing,
he could pick him up and put him down, boy. What?
And a whole lot of receivers that came out of Ohio State that couldn't run.
Horace Kidwell, my nine under Buffalo Stan Peters, lost the regional championship game 13-12 last week. Part one of the Nationals still invited us this weekend with a chance to win the Super Bowl.
Pep talked to the kids about second chances. That's it, see?
You just had delayed success. All is not lost.
You still got an opportunity to get the ultimate destination, man. Come on, bro.
This is our second chance. A lot of people don't get second chances.
You got one. Let's make the most of it.
Dark born, Dallas got powder puff schedule remaining. Vikings, Chargers, Washington, and the Giants.
Powder Puff. The Chargers.
Guess what? That's what the Chargers are saying.
They're looking at Dallas on their schedule and say, we got a Powder Puff schedule.
Y'all make it seem like Dallas like 10. Y'all make it seem like y'all got 10 wins.
You don't?
Aaron Jones, I told you guys last night the Bills are trash for what they did. They knew
Slay only wanted to play for the Eagles. Now you forced him into retirement, shaking my head.
How sad. Hey.
Maybe they thought he could help. Exactly,
which is why they went and got him.
You do realize teams are not trying to help other teams win, Ocho.
Do they know that, Ocho?
T-Scare Carwise detail.
If you interview
Kevin Gates, that would melt the internet with the cat part two coming.
That goddamn Kevin Gates is funny, boy.
Yeah, I see him from time to time.
We tried to set up something, it didn't happen.
Hey, you know, Kevin Gates
would do stupid crazy, I'm talking about crazy numbers because you don't know what he's going to say.
And Charleston White would do crazy numbers.
Charleston White?
Oh, man, Unc, man. Listen, man.
He won't get close to Cat. but he damn sure gonna be up there
and then then he's somebody that can talk about any topic. Like, people might think he's a fool and talk crazy, but then he no, he calculated.
He'd say some outlandish stuff, but uh, you know, a lot of his stuff, a lot of his stuff, you know, it resonates. He'd be on
stuff.
Go birds 800. Hey, Uncle Ocho, y'all forgot about prime Josh Gordon at Cleveland, if not for his mistakes.
Yeah, I think that I think it was that 2014 season, if I'm not mistaken.
I might have the year wrong, but boy.
Nah, yeah, it might have been 2014 2015 you might have been right oh yo yeah you might be right crazy
when he had those back-to-back 200 yard games oh he led actually he led he missed i think he missed the first two games that led the league and received with 1600 yards
bungee vision tv uh can you get guys please to create a segment called take it or leave it where we ask y'all questions and give you give us advice the kind of advice OBJ needed.
Man, I don't think OBJ, look, he said he was just talking about it in general. Ocho and I was talking about it in general.
We were just saying, if somebody is spending $4 million in expenses a year and you don't have a business,
it's just hard for me to see somebody spending that kind of money that doesn't have a business.
Now, if you Jay-Z, if you want to be LeBron, well, you got 24-hour security, you Kevin Hart, where you got that kind of security. I get it then.
I do.
But look at the kind of money LeBron and Kevin Hart, Hove and Bay, look at kind of
Taylor Swift. Look at the kind of money that Drake, look at the kind of money they're making.
Yeah, I mean, it takes money. Yeah, they're going to be protected at the yin-yang.
But I just can't mean. Could you imagine? I'm not, I'm, oh, Joe, I'm not, I'm not spending, I'm not spending no $50,000, $75,000 for no damn cleats to play no game.
I don't give a damn what they are.
Hey, can you imagine what Kevin Hart or LeBron overhead is every month?
Yeah, I can imagine. Yes.
You got 24-hour security, Ocho.
24 hours. They all, I mean, look, LeBron flied with the team, but LeBron flies private.
And you got no choice.
Yes,
when you go somewhere, you get in a yacht, you get in a yacht for a week or two, probably probably $1,20,000
a week.
You stand in a suite, the presidential suite, probably $5,000, $10,000 a night. Different.
Yeah, absolutely. Different.
But the thing that really
gets you, if you got kids and you're not married
and you have them in a state, you know, kids could be anywhere between $1,500 a month to $25,000, $30,000, $40,000, $50,000 a month.
now tack on you know 10 15 20 000 a year private school
so
money go fast ojo
dang
but hopefully oj
oj obj took care of his money he made good money he was a first round draft pick and he had endorsements big time
He had a Nike deal. I mean, he, so he did, so hopefully everything's okay.
Hopefully everything works out with OBJ. Ocho and I, even though he were discussing, we were just saying, I said, if he spent
$4 million a year, an overhead, that's crazy. That's crazy.
King Payne, 21. Oh, geez.
Older folk keep telling us what would happen to the game when so much money gets involved. No more heart and love for the game, only the bag and 4K.
Yeah, it's look, bro.
it's tough, man. I mean, you tip your hat to guys, oh,
that when they get the bag, they still play as if they broke.
You look at a Brady, you look at a Manning, you look at a Jordan, you look at a Kobe, you look at a LeBron, you look at some of these guys, oh Joe, they still play like they broke, like they destitute,
and then you see some guys get it, and man, they just, you know,
yeah,
I'm trying to get, I'm trying to get another contract, So, y'all found some of y'all found 100 million, 200 meets? Man, let me try to get another. They might got 3400 for your boy, don't you?
That's how you and I think.
Everybody don't think like that.
Ass 370 hard knocks made me get back on the Eagles. We're going to run this ish, and we're going to win the Super Bowl.
Also, Slay wants to come home. What y'all think, Uh?
Yeah, we talked about it earlier. I think that's the only thing I could think of.
I mean, mentally,
I think, you know, Slay must have been checked out. I'm sure they probably mutually agreed to part ways because things weren't working out over there
in Pittsburgh. And I'm sure he was hoping.
Can you imagine, Ocho?
You in Cincinnati, you healthy, you had a great week of practice, and you're a healthy scratcher.
I don't like that.
They see
Duloconte.
Watch the game at home. The best seats in the house.
All you can eat and drink. True.
True.
Man, I should, you know what? I'm going to find out. I'm going to find out.
I'm going to
call my guy
at the Broncos and see how much the cheaper suite is.
Because I'm trying to think. I went to, hold on.
I used to go to the Rams game and
went to the Sweets a couple of times. As a matter of fact, I went to Matthew Stafford.
I was with his wife, Kelly.
She's great. She's unbelievable.
She's really, really, really down to earth. And I don't know if I can say that about a whole lot of NFL quarterbacks' wife, but she is really, really down to earth.
If you didn't know who she was, just talking to her, you would never know her husband is Matthew Stafford. That's the impression I got.
Now, I can't say with everybody else, how she was with everybody else, but I'm just saying how she was with me.
Benji 97 start cut Marshall Fogg, Adrian Peterson, Ladanian Thomason.
All I know is Marshall Fogg won a Super Bowl, he's a league MVP and a three-time offensive player of the year.
Adrian Peterson and Ladanian Thomason both won MVPs. Damn, yeah, hey, that's that's a tough one.
About time you got one,
damn,
oh Lord,
Marshall and Ladanian are really like very, very similar.
AP didn't catch a whole lot of passes. Not saying that he couldn't, but that's not what his forte was.
He is an old school, old school, old school, old school, old school running back.
Hand it to him, toss it to him.
Ooh.
Nobody scored like LT.
This game is about scoring, so I got to keep LT.
Got to keep him.
Damn.
Damn it, I'm cutting everybody.
I want none of them.
Mike and Mike, Love Depart, keep it up. Yo, Ocho, good cookie on the show.
That segment will be fine. What you're going to have on the show, I ain't going to be here.
Levin Levester, what's up, Uncan Ocho? Can you give a special shout out to my girlfriend, Jazzy? She had a rough week and needs a little motivation. Thank you.
Thank you and keep doing your thing.
Jazzy,
what's going on? Hopefully you're feeling better. I know a lot of Jazzies.
That's a very common name. Jasmine, probably named Jasmine.
But anyway, Jazzy,
your man said you had a very, very rough week. We don't know what caused that week, but you know, sunshine follows rain.
Keep your head up.
Put one foot in front of the other and realize sunshine follows rain um whatever you're going through just know god got you and you're gonna come out on the other side being even better than when you went in
we love you here at nightcap jazzy brian bb gaming ocho did you really sleep at the stadium for a bit yeah only the first
what the hell you talking about where'd you sleep where'd you watch tv etc What about if a baddie pulled up? Ain't no baddies pulled up. I was locked in.
But at Player's Lounge, Player's Lounge had everything. couches, video games, cable, pinball machine, PlayStation, Xbox was there at the time, cafeteria.
I mean, everything was there.
All the amenities that you would have in a house.
Me coming from nothing, going from college, only having a, you know, what, four months of college. So, I mean, I was, I was content.
I was content.
It wasn't like I was coming from a four-year institution, a big PWI. And
I'm saving that money.
What's the point of spending money on a place when everything I need is right here at work?
Kevin,
I don't know how to say his last name, bro, but it's you, Kevin. Yo, uh,
you should reach out to former USC walk-on Owen Hanson for Club Shea Share. He has an unbelievable story, which much more than
could be told.
Okay.
Wish you'd have gave us a little insight.
Eric Jordan Scott, Uncanocho, need your help with one. Kennesaw State or Jackson, Jackson,
Jacksonville State, Prayer View, AM, Jackson State, or North Texas, or Tulane.
Kennesaw State's in Georgia. I think they're pretty good.
I don't really know a whole lot about Jacksonville State. Prayer View, AM.
I know about them. I know about Jackson State.
North Texas.
Isn't that where me and Joe Green went?
Didn't he go to North Texas? And Tulane, the Green wave.
I don't know anybody went there, but hey.
Oh, y'all, where should he go? Kinnesaw State, Jacksonville State, Prairie View, Jackson, North Texas, or Tulane? I mean,
I don't know what you want, what you measure and what you're looking for. I mean, my baby just went to Prairie View AM.
She just graduated, so
I don't know much about the other schools.
I never got the chance to experience the HBCU, so
I would say pre-view.
Yeah, I mean, he all over the place. I mean, he got some HBCUs, he got some PWIs, so I don't really know what he's looking for.
HBLOG, sup, Uncle Ocho.
I saw they're doing an L WH documentary on Netflix. Can't wait to see it.
What other team or sports would you like to see? A documentary or series, Ocho? Another team or an individual player?
It's a team or guess series. Let me see.
A team. I would like.
First of all, you know, LeBron is going to have a documentary. Yeah, of course.
Because he got cameras following him all the time. But his story, we all know his story because everything is
like it's live. We've lived it.
We've lived this entire story. Right.
They should do a documentary. Did they do a documentary on Kobe?
I'm not sure he did his own trying to think
who was really interesting
I'm trying to think what should who should get a documentary it got to be somebody interesting too though
yeah Usain both
interesting interesting
Damn, that's a great question
No
Ojo you should do a documentary.
Well, my story's not finished yet, though.
Dev the Dundee 74 Elka Nutcho, much love. The Nightcap family.
Best 3-5 barrier ping-pong bowling dice. Who's winning between? Well,
I'm winning in cards. I'm winning in dice.
I'm probably going to win in pool.
Ping pong is a toss-up.
If my hips don't stiffen up in frame 5, six, and seven, I got it.
You got who
Ocho Singh. No, I mean,
everything they just named, everything they just
you not beat me in cars, you not beat me in dice. You not beat me in no dice or no cars, man.
What are you talking about? You ain't beat me in no ping-pong, let alone pool. You naming, you naming things
I was an expert at in high school.
Come on, now
Marlon Spy, the Unc, the Rodeo is going on in Vegas. The rodeo is going on this week on in Vegas for 10 nights starting tonight.
You should hit it up if you have some free time. You know what?
I might stop by and see the, I might see the rodeo.
I don't know any of the famous bulls.
Get on the rank bull while you out there.
I don't ain't going to do her and I don't need to be on no rank bull.
Samuel Ramirez, 6704, Uncle Ocho, much love. I've been struggling.
I'm 26, but y'all preaching to me. I'm grateful to
be alive still, teaching some wisdom. Hang in there, bro.
Hang in there. Keep fighting.
Lock in day to day.
Saw your cars in 78.26. When you start losing yourself, how did you find it again? And if you haven't found yourself yet,
what advice for people to do so? Love y'all.
You know, the old saying is that self is not something you find, self is something you create.
Now, it's easy to get caught up in a lot of different things,
money,
praise, adulation.
But who are you? Before you had any of that, who were you? At your core, who are you?
Football, that's what I did. That's not who I am.
Glenville, Georgia. No, that's where I'm from.
That's not who I am.
So you have to go back to the very beginning before you had all this fame, before you had all this attention, before you had money, before you had anything.
If I take all that away, who are you? What are you? How are you?
What would you be?
Sometimes things get, sometimes things, times get hard. I'm living testament to that.
Sometimes you're like, damn, Lord.
But I just realized I'm like, bro, I know, God, you didn't bring me this far to bring me this far to leave me now.
I just got to trust in you. I just got to believe
that there is a message in everything that I'm going through right now. And boy, y'all know
I've been in the storm. Very few people have had their storm play out on national television.
People got an opportunity to track my storm, just like they track Katrina, just like they track Andrew.
But
and there are times that like Lord, have mercy.
But
every day I was able to open my eyes like, okay, I got another day.
Got another day.
But boy, I'm telling you, it ain't easy sometimes. It's not.
It's not.
That's when you got to have people
that you know care about you and you care about them.
Man, man, Bucket, man, Bucket called me every day.
Every day.
Burns,
I just want to hear your voice. We're going to be all right.
And we are.
I thank you guys because,
man, it was.
There are some days I didn't want to do this.
But then I thought about what else am I going to do? Sit and think and feel sorry for myself.
Nah.
I couldn't succumb to those thoughts.
You feel sorry for yourself for a couple of days and then you pick yourself up, you put your clothes on, and
you go to work.
That's what I did, Sawyer. That's what I did.
Duntee, death taxes, and Ocho Elgato. Go, Birds.
Hey, do you think AJ Brown and DL are the most physical receivers today?
I say they are because I'm an old miss guy. Oh, he meant DK.
Actually,
if I had to, I would say Juwan Jennings.
You got to be in that West Coast system guys that that that that that that block block for real
and I know you look at the physicals
you look at DK, his size, what, 6'4, 230. You look at A.J.
Brown, probably 6'3, you know, 215, 220.
Oh, yeah.
LeBron,
LeBron MD,
coming through to see you, Shanna. Hope you'll sign my bottle.
I appreciate that. I'll see you.
Hopefully, in Vegas, we can do a taste test.
You know, we get a little sip, you know, make that thing right.
That concludes this episode of Nightcap. I want to thank each and every one of you for joining us as you watch the Dallas Cowboys lose by the score of 44 to 30 to the Detroit Lions.
Now they still have a slim playoff hope, slim margin to make the playoffs. And Detroit strengthened their playoffs possibility.
But Detroit played extremely well tonight.
The Cowboys' two turnovers were very, very costly.
But give the Lions credit. Jerry Goff played extremely well jameer gibbs had three rushing touchdowns as they win the ball game by the score of 44 to 30.
