So you girls are welcome and you can go to my Instagram and look at his videos.
And you're an entrepreneur.
You are like so many things that I don't even know how to introduce you.
But let me say hello.
Hi, my friend.
Hey, Khan, how are you?
Thank you for having me.
Thank Thank you so much for doing the first Cataloos of the season.
It's an honor.
Last time we talked, I think the podcast was like way back there in the very beginning, right?
Yes, yes.
And it's amazing how much the podcast grew and how much your career in Hollywood is growing.
Thank God.
You're very discreet about it, but I know you're busy, busy, busy, busy, busy.
I try to be as much as I can.
You try to be as much as you can.
What do you have coming?
coming up before we talk about sex, dating, and relationships.
Well, I just finished a movie, The Bullfighter.
i am the bullfighter you are the bullfighter i saw some photos on your instagram yeah so i'm waiting for that to happen in a couple of months and i'm doing a lot of more stuff i am the bullfighter sounds like did you shoot it in mexico no no no we did it here really
ah but it's about a mexican bullfighter it's about a mexican bullfighter that
is not a bullfighter anymore but there's a big tragedy in his life.
He He is in LA trying to find his destiny.
Oh my god I love that.
But when I saw the pictures of you dressed like a bullfighter I'm like yeah it was the perfect part for you because it took you back to your Mexican roots.
Well it's interesting because well yeah wolf fighting comes from Spain but it was big in Mexico up to a couple of years a few years ago now I think there's no more bullfighting.
Thank God.
Because I'm all about
how you are.
It does break my heart when I see the Spain, they hurt the animals.
They are also ending that in many places in Spain.
Oh, that's good news.
That is good news.
That is good news.
So the movie is wrapped and I'm just waiting for release.
They are
post-production.
I actually have to go tomorrow to do a couple of things with them, movies and stuff.
I think in less than a month to be ready.
We'll see.
Okay, amazing.
So this is one thing that I want to ask you.
A lot of actors, of course, they have to be very
out there to promote their work, right, on social media, photos,
you are the kind of guy, like you work a lot, you're crazy successful, you are an award-winning actor, you wrote a book, you do a million different things, but you're very low-key about it.
So, I think the first question is: because we are in Hollywood, of course, and we're in the beginning of award season, how do you separate it so well?
You only talk about your work, and like nobody, you're never on the papers, you're never on page six,
there's no scandals, nothing.
How do you do it?
I learned this a long time ago.
I mean I have been in the industry for many decades.
I won't say how many, but everybody knows.
I've been around for a while and
if you don't do that, you go crazy.
This is
the kind of career that will really turn your brain off or really send you to the dark side of yourself.
I see acting or show business in general simply as a job.
Right.
As
respectable as the guy who is, I don't know, working in a restaurant or cleaning the streets.
Everybody works to put food on the table.
Being an actor is not different.
I mean we have the benefit and the blessing of being in front of the camera and you know enjoying the attention of people and all this but it's only that it's not real right that's that's the important part to understand but you don't let it go up to your head that's what I'm saying it's not real why would it go up
okay but like a tip like if there's like
young wannabe actors out there because we like I said we're in Hollywood a lot of people look at our work and they're like oh I want to be in this business no no no no no no any tips that you tell like a young person that is starting in this career how do you separate it so well and how do you not let it go up like your ego go up to the next one?
Every time somebody asks me for any kind of advice, I always reply with an answer, with a question,
which is, why do you want to be an actor?
Right.
Most of them, they don't know the answer to that.
Because they most likely want to be rich and famous.
Yes.
And you need to understand that in arts,
you most likely won't be rich or famous.
Right.
Or it's going to take a very long time.
Yeah, but that is not the reason that will sustain your career.
No, I agree.
Because if you're here to be rich and famous, and it goes by, I don't know, 5, 10, 20 years, you're going to go crazy.
I agree.
You're going to feel depressed.
You're going to blow your brain.
So, and that's the wrong reason to be in this business.
Totally.
Because
I always say this, it's the toughest business and career in the world.
You hear the word no every
day.
We can't do that.
10 million.
Day and night.
You need to know who you are and why do you want to be an actor?
If you can be happy with anything else, do do it.
Don't be an actor.
I always say, Don't be an actor.
So, okay, but a lot of people out there, and I and I agree with you, I think it's kind of funny, like the perception.
So many people come here and they think, like, oh, I'm here in Hollywood, I'm gonna be an actor.
I hear that every single day, or like the podcast, because now there's the podcast.
They're like, I'm gonna do a podcast, and that's it.
And I thought, you guys have no freaking idea.
Like I said, it's an uphill battle every single day, right?
I think for one yes, we get maybe a hundred thousand no.
Probably, yeah and also you need to understand that Los Angeles Hollywood is the Olympics yeah it's like if I say hey I want to win the 400 meter race I want to be Olympic an Olympic champion yeah
and and somebody asked me why well I'm strong yeah I run fast what
you're against the best in the world guys who work 16 hours a day they don't have a holiday they don't have a Sunday they don't have a birthday party they don't go out right you are facing those guys yeah same goes for acting or any other art podcasting yeah so as an actor I mean you are here when you go to an audition you see this big stars audition with you yes all of them look amazing they are more handsome than you they are more prepared all of them sing dance
they do drama they do stand-up comedy yeah but it's ridiculous because people are like oh my boy or my daughter they're so beautiful I want to help them to be an actor what I know Crazy.
It's not going to happen.
No, I completely agree.
I kind of laugh when people ask me, like, oh, how long have you been doing this?
Or how?
Because they don't know the uphill battle that it is.
However, okay, you've been in this industry a very long time and you've done movies, you've done soap hours, you've done it all.
And you never, like I said, you never let it go up to your head.
And a lot of people do.
If they get a job, and hilariously enough, you tell me if you agree or not, the biggest stars that I've ever met are the most humble
and the the shitty ones that are like a nobody are like sometimes so freaking arrogant like talk to my assistant
do you have the same experience yeah that people they are not artists those are the guys who yeah you have let's say you're doing a movie and your call time is at 5 a.m.
yeah and they appear half an hour later or three hours later right and they don't get it it's like you have to be half an hour before and you're maybe late.
Yeah.
Because you have a whole crew that you can do.
My god, yeah, you have a lot of people that are there since 3 a.m.
Yeah.
Working for you
to look good.
And that you need to be humble.
And you need to go and say hello and shake hands with the guy who cleans, the guy who is a background actor.
Yeah.
Because not because it's cool, it's because they deserve it.
No, you don't have to do it.
You're no different than that.
I completely agree.
You're not humble, you won't last.
You may be famous for a few years and then boom, goes down.
I completely agree.
I think arrogance in this industry will not last one year.
People remember everything.
And if you are arrogant today to an assistant, that assistant tomorrow is going to be a big producer or a big guest in director.
And they remember.
That is so.
I do remember people who have mistreated me 40 years ago.
I remember.
And it's a small circle, right?
As much as we say, like it's Hollywood and everything, and all the studios, I work a lot less than you, obviously.
But every once in a while, like the makeup artist that worked with me in Miami, she's here and she's like, oh my God, I remember you because you were the girl.
They're like, they remember your behavior.
Yes,
if you're being humble, if you're on time, if you're being sweet or if you're being like a diva, right?
Reputation is everything.
And if you mistreat somebody once,
they may create a story about you that is not true, but it will become true.
Because enough people repeating it, then you're a bad guy.
Maybe you're not.
Totally.
Totally.
And it's interesting that you point it out on time because you and I are always on time.
We arrived at this podcast here at Better Than Sex on time.
I am always waiting for, and I think this is our discipline from working on sets, right?
Because the call time is the call time.
But I suffer every single day in LA.
I'm always waiting for people.
Oh, me too.
Does that happen to you?
Every single time.
Every single time.
I hate when somebody tells you to be somewhere at six and you know, you are there at least 20 minutes before waiting because you don't know if you're gonna have a problem with your tire, accident, whatever traffic.
And people don't respect other people's lives.
They know.
And I don't like when people tell me, oh, it's traffic.
It's like hello, LA is traffic.
You know,
I became an actor in theater first.
And when you are a theater actor, you understand this and the discipline so well because if you arrive one minute late, yeah you have a lot of people who pay the ticket and they're waiting for you yeah and a crew and a director and producer and you will lose the job right there yeah you will never be hired again yeah so in theater you need to plan for hours you need to plan like this like okay what if I have an accident what if there is a big traffic so I will need an hour or two then you arrive two hours earlier totally you're gonna be the only one doesn't matter you will be on time be on time I agree you said that about theater but I don't know about you but i have worked on sets that i remember i'm never late i'm like you i prefer to be one hour
i don't care but i remember working on a set and there was like this girl and she was like a principal like she was one of the main actresses and she was i think 35 minutes late they threw her out like the director they literally came and said you're not working
crying and begging and he was like there is a crew of like over 500 people here and you're making everybody late you're making you're costing everybody more money, you're gone.
Yeah.
But you know what?
I've seen the opposite too.
I've been in productions where the main actress, let's say, it's three hours late, four hours late.
That is so late.
And they allow it and you're like,
yeah, but this is what happens.
They allow it, but you won't see them working much after that.
People remember.
And whoever behaves like that is somebody who will disrespect you.
And people don't like that kind of people.
Totally.
So they won't last.
I agree.
So So if you guys are listening, I think if you want to try to break in this very tough business, number one, you have to have alligator skin.
Alligator skin.
Discipline and be humble.
Be nice to everybody.
And train,
please.
Looks is absolutely nothing.
Looks mean nothing because in LA everybody's gorgeous.
They're more gorgeous than everybody else.
Not anymore.
So if you are like, oh, I have blue eyes and I'm blonde and I'm beautiful, I have great body everybody is i mean go model my darling because if you want to be an actress yeah these other girls are as gorgeous as you are but they're training
all day yes training training is everything in art if you're on train forget it i know you're a very
disciplined man in all areas of your life like you train people you're a coach you're a life coach other than being an actor you work out like crazy yeah you're always in fantastic shape and i think that's all like a part of being a great actor, right?
Always being ready.
Everything is part of it.
You know,
my dad gave me a blessing of helping me to become a martial artist when I was four years old.
I have been all my life a martial artist and I learned
how important is discipline, how important is your word, how important is to be on time.
Little stuff like making your bed in the morning
says everything about your day.
I love to meditate.
Meditation in the morning is so vital.
That's one thing I don't do, but I would love to try to research.
It's very important because I think it's more important than anything else in your day.
Because whatever you see in your meditation and you create there is how your day is going to come for you.
And as you said, I teach people stuff.
So yeah, I love...
You know, transformation is my word.
Yeah.
Helping people to transform whatever it is, body, emotional state, spiritual stuff.
It's possible, but I like that you're very honest about it.
It takes a lot of work and discipline because I think the number one thing, at least my listeners and people on my Instagram, a lot of people think it's easy.
They think that anything, oh, I'm going to do a podcast, I'm going to be a model, I'm going to be an actor, nah.
And I laugh, oh, how do you have 200,000 followers?
How do you have the...
And I'm like, it wasn't like overnight.
You know, it's like a constant, constant, constant fight for what you really want, right?
It's every day.
It's every day and you need to be happy about it.
Yes.
You have to love it.
What happens with actors is, and that happened to me at the beginning.
It's like you want to work no matter what.
You will do whatever it takes to be in that movie.
And then you go to an audition.
And then you get off the audition and you suffer because, oh my God, I need this part because I need it because it's going to change my life.
It's going to change that.
And then you just suffer.
And most likely you won't get it because it's a numbers game.
No, it's a numbers game.
It doesn't matter how good you are, you will need at least 40 rejections before a callback.
Yeah.
And that's okay.
But if you change
the way you think, your mindset, and instead of suffering, you go there happily knowing that you won't get it, but you will enjoy it.
Yeah.
And you will train your craft while you do it.
And then you just forget about it.
Yeah.
Everything will change.
So let's talk for a minute about rejection because I know we are used to it because we are in the industry.
I mean, I've I think my first
TV commercial was four years old, so it's ingrained on me.
I don't care what people say about me, I think my skin is so thick, and I think that's the only reason why I still work.
That is great because I don't care.
So, when people say no, no, no, no, I'm like, okay, whatever, whatever.
I'm used to it, and that when somebody says yes, it makes me so happy.
Of course, of course.
But how about for you?
Like, how do you deal with rejection?
And again, in your training as a coach
do how do you tell people because for a lot of people it's tough right you first need to understand it is not personal
right that's the first it's not about you because we think it's oh they don't like me I'm too old I'm too fat I'm too skinny I'm too young I'm too whatever no most likely you are great but you are not you're just not perfect for that part.
Or maybe you remind the casting director to his mother-in-law.
Or there are so many reasons.
And
I can promise you, none of those reasons have to do with you.
I agree.
So that's the first, I guess, tip I would say.
That's a very good tip.
It's never, ever about you.
It's never about you.
But it hurts.
It hurts in the beginning.
But then when you get it, I mean, remember the Godfather's famous words of the movie?
It's not personal, it's just business.
It's business.
It's just business.
So they are trying to...
they're
listen when you go to an audition the casting director wants you to get the part yeah because then his job is done yes they want they're your fans they want you to do it great and just nail it everybody wants you to succeed yes that's never you but i'm not gonna sugarcoat it if you are too sensitive if you do take it personally oh you're gonna suffer you're fucked pardon my friend you're fucked i suffer this is a business for you did no god you have no idea i like that you're opening up your heart.
Oh, yes, of course.
I mean, I teach stuff that I know.
I understand.
Not that I read.
I know exactly how it feels, but then you make the change.
You make
swift mind.
That's why meditation is important.
Because if you meditate, you will approach things in a different way.
And if you get rejected and you suffer, then you go meditate again and you change the vibe.
Then you realize, like, you know, it's not about
me.
But I do think it's
an easier business, any kind of entertainment business modeling acting podcasting for people with a little bit stronger personalities
either you you do that you have that personality or you will go down there I mean I have always had this
theory I don't know if it's true or not but you know LA is a place where there are the most people live on the streets, you know, you know, homeless people.
And my theory is that
a big
amount of them, a big percentage of those people came to LA for something to conquer something you think so they didn't have the personality or that or the you know the toughness to to
to go through all this rejection to all this the the toughness of the business and they just went their brains they just yeah it's interesting you're saying that because it's definitely a city that destroy it makes it
true but it can destroy you if you don't have a strong personality it's funny you you know, just I just remember, you know,
I have done a lot of stuff in the Hispanic markets, novellas and stuff in Spanish.
And I knew a lot of actors who were like, oh, I'm going to go to LA for six months to see what happens.
Just crack.
Like, what?
What do you mean, six months?
Yeah, because in six months I will know if it's going to hurt.
I know.
I have friends.
Not even in two years, brother.
Because the first year, you just find your way around LA.
I've had a lot of time.
The second year, you might get an an agent if you're lucky.
I know people have been here four years without agents.
Oh, yeah.
And people that have been here four years.
You have to fool yourself.
It's ridiculous.
And also other people who, yeah, I got rejected and I feel so bad.
And I'm like, okay, did you train for this part?
Did you memorize it?
Oh, no.
Why?
Oh, because I was tired.
Did you
prepare for it?
Did you
have a coach?
Oh, no, because it's expensive.
So what do do you do well i just did it again you're in la i know you're not prepared and you get rejected you're fine
yeah yeah i agree then yes please feel bad because you you you own that no yeah one million percent and it's the same thing i see like with the podcast i get asked that question a lot like oh because i am like we didn't script this right exactly and i'm used to it but i know because you know the reason why i have so many i know what to ask my guests is because i know who you are i do my research
i find find out about their project, so I can talk to you for like five hours.
And I've been interviewed, and I don't know if you have been interviewed, that people go like, I have no idea,
they don't even know.
And I'm like, and I'm like, dude, if you want to interview me, exactly, do your homework, right?
I have told that to somebody,
like, you know what?
Just go do your homework, call me whenever you do.
I did too.
I got invited.
I forgot it was like some small local newspaper.
And I go there to sit down with the reporter, journalist, and he looks at me like so how many years have you been like a dating coach and an expert
and I looked at him I was like excuse are you freaking serious because the first thing that I tell everybody that I'm exactly the opposite right of a coach and an expert he didn't even bother reading like the bio and these are there to you know to get the time they have to work and go home I know now let me ask your opinion going back to how we started you are really good at separating your work from your personal life.
I think it's really classy.
I try to do that with my work as well.
I post on social media always about my projects.
I give the impression that people know about my personal life, but I never talk about my personal life.
And I know you don't either.
You keep it very professional.
Again, any tips?
Because I know a lot of people with a little bit less experience,
I think they show too much.
This is the thing.
I mean, you need to understand that, let's say an actor, acting cannot be your life.
Yes, it's okay if it's an obsession.
You should be obsessed, otherwise, you're not going to be successful.
But you need to be able to, when you get home,
if you have family, if you have a dog, or just yourself, just you know, turn that off and be with yourself.
You need to be able a few days ago, actually, somebody who I respect very much, a very, very enlightened, spiritual person, they told me you need to do polyculture which is the the art and science of being able to grow different crops different
types of let's let's say fruits or or or plants at the same time without neglecting any of them
but not putting everything on one right because the others are gonna die i hear you so that's how i see it i mean my personal life is super important my health my emotional health yeah my my inner peace of Of course, money is important.
That's also important, but it's not everything.
And you just said, I like that idea.
You separate in different components.
You have to, otherwise, some part of you are going to die.
I agree.
I think I got inspired by you when we became friends quite a few years ago because I was like, I don't even know if you remember, we had this conversation.
I was like, wow, your Instagram is like really professional.
You keep it like really, like your private life is really for the people in your private life.
And I like that.
So I try to live my life the same way.
Do you agree that some celebrities overshare?
Well, that's the thing.
We go back to why are you in this business?
I mean, there's people who are here for the attention.
But I'm talking about like big celebrities.
Let's spill the beans a little bit because people like that.
Because we're in Hollywood.
Okay.
Some celebrities like, you already made it, you are already rich, you are already super famous, you have millions of dollars in the bank, and they keep talking about like play-by-play of their personal relationships.
Look at me, look at me.
Do you think it's oversharing or do you think it's a sharp?
Yes it is and they're successful but they are poor inside.
They need the attention.
They need the attention.
They have no richness inside.
They need you to feel bad about them or good about them.
They need you.
Because if they feel
you know as a typical person and I do this with a lot of my coaching, when you go home if you're the type of person that you need to be either on the phone or immediately turn on the TV, you need noise, you need something to distract you.
And there's the other people like me,
I love silence.
Oh, really?
I love my company.
I love to think.
I like to think.
So that's, you know, you need to think about it.
Do you ever get it?
Because I know you have a dog like Phoenix doesn't allow me to.
There you go.
No, okay.
My dogs rarely allow me a few moments of silence.
But that is good.
I mean, that kind of noise is not annoying.
Yeah, no, I know.
I'm joking.
That noise is sometimes annoying, but
it's coming from love.
Yeah, I agree.
But if you create the noise, I mean it's like one of the songs, it's like that.
You cannot live without something going on.
I like music.
You know, I always have music on.
Yeah, but
try once in a while.
Silence.
It's a good friend.
You're probably right.
Because then you will start hearing yourself.
Yeah.
And there's some part of yourself.
Uh-huh.
Like a spiritual guide inside you.
They want to talk to you.
Yeah.
And they try, but you don't hear it.
You cannot listen maybe I need to do your coaching I need some coaching classes because I know you're really really good I know some of your clients and we cannot say their names because they're very very famous I know you're top top top in the coaching world so maybe we'll do some classes well I again I love to help people to serve to transform I mean one of the biggest joys in my life is when I see somebody suffering and then I can help to revert that and I see that people enjoy.
Yeah, that's really amazing.
That's the best thing in the world.
Yeah, that's really beautiful.
Okay, but going back to the celebrities, so you think these people that already have everything, like on the outside, they have everything, you think it's like an internal need or pain.
That's the thing, they don't have everything, they have nothing.
On the outside,
but that is the problem because outside, whatever you cannot take with you when you die, it's nothing.
You have nothing.
Because when you will die, and regardless of what you think spiritually, wherever you go, if somebody asks you hey who are you oh I am so and so famous or I'm the president of this company or I'm they're gonna be like no no that's not who you are that's yeah I agree who you were you know playing but who are you most people don't know who they are that is the problem who am I where do I come from what am I doing here or where am I going to and wow I confess that sometimes I look at these people and I cringe because I'm like girl just like shut up.
And I'll say one name because I'm a huge admirer of her work.
I think she's one of the most amazing entertainers, J-Lo.
I follow her career because I met her some almost 30 years ago when she was starting in Miami.
And I think she inspires me as a woman because she's aging
insanely well.
I love her discipline.
Her work is incredible.
Incredible.
Her discipline is like nobody I've ever met in this industry.
But then I'm like, girl, seriously, okay, you married a guy after 20 years you have millions of dollars sometimes I feel like just go home and like keep it to yourself yeah I know there's that need there's that if you would coach her wouldn't you say that like maybe keep it a little something of your life to yourself more than that I would first try to figure out
to help her figure out
what's lacking inside what what is not in its place yeah because that's the reason that's the main reason when you find that then you will just go to a normal balance.
You have not had it.
On that note, what do you think?
I have to ask, because when I said I was going to interview you, a bunch of girls sent this question.
Uh-oh.
What do you think about the Kardashians?
Because they are a typical example, right?
In the beginning, okay, they leveraged their media time and made hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of millions.
It's done.
They have all the money in the world.
And they're the worst social media whores.
They're like, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me.
What do you think about that?
Is it a little too much?
I think, this is what I'm going to say.
I think they're geniuses in terms of business women.
They are freaking geniuses because they know exactly what to say, do, not do to make money.
I agree.
But I don't...
Do you think it's a little much?
The way they have done everything is not my way or the way I respect or I embrace it's not my thing again when you die what are you gonna take with you
that's a big question because people who are honest answering this will most of them will get very depressed true so I kind of think like if I were on that their level I would take a breather I would be like okay maybe I'm not gonna feel
my house too much noise maybe I'm not gonna feel my relationship maybe I'm not gonna feel my kids they need to find themselves first they don't know who they are yeah probably probably that's why that's why we wanted to know your opinion about that
another interesting question I watched the golden globes you watched it show
I was insanely insanely happy as an artist to see a lot of these winners ladies crazy talented ladies over 50
in their 60s kicking ass oh my god i love do i know do you think it's the end of ageism in Hollywood?
Or at least it's getting much better.
It's getting better, but you heard her.
She
said,
Jennifer Coolidge.
No, Michelle Yo.
The name of the Asian lady.
Michelle Yo.
Yes, thank you, Michelle.
I forgot her name just now.
She said it.
It took me 40 years for this moment.
That's what people don't see.
People see the moment where you have the red card,
the reference, and the award, and the limo.
But they don't see all of you.
40 years of dedication to get there.
But having said that, yes, now we are seeing women and women of color and all kinds of people that before were like impossible.
Like what?
You will never see anybody like that getting an award.
Now it's the new normal and I embrace that.
I was happy because they are all different sizes, races, shapes.
They are all over 50.
They all got
very MIDI roles, incredible roles.
and of course it's a recognition of their work but i think hollywood is changing in that sense like they're not thinking like you said before oh it has to be the skinniest crowny gorgeous blonde i think now it's more like about who can play this complex fantastic character who can feel like like you like who can who can feel like you are talking to them really because not everybody is perfect yeah in physical qualities yeah and you want to see a normal person.
I mean, if I'm somebody who had three kids and I worked three jobs and my husband left me and I don't have time to go to a salon or to a gym or whatever,
I feel left out.
You're as valuable as anybody else.
So if I've seen somebody who genuinely is playing that part, oh my god, that's golden for me.
I know.
So good for them.
Good for the industry.
Did you watch The White Lotus?
I haven't.
I haven't.
Seriously?
I don't watch a lot of TV series for this reason.
I have this thing.
Every night
I watch a movie.
I watch a movie because I can finish it that night.
When I started watching series, I found myself in seven series.
All of them
not.
So
that was going to be the next question that somebody wants to know if you have a favorite one or if there is one that you watch and you're like, I guess not.
You mean CFT series?
If you don't watch series, you can talk.
But the Wild Lows, I think you should watch.
I haven't seen it.
Because it's short and it's crazy good.
It's really good.
But okay, so movie, do you have any movies that you watch lately that you're like, okay, you guys gotta watch this one?
Yes, yes.
I just watched,
oh my god, what's the name?
Let me say Brad Pitt
Babylon.
Babylon, thank you so much.
I haven't watched it yet.
A lot of people will hate it and a lot of people will love it.
Yes, there are parts that I could have lived without seeing them,
but the acting is fabulous, the direction, the photography.
I mean the art is perfect.
Yeah.
Perfect.
I really want to work with you.
I love this director and I'm a fan of most of those actors.
Yeah.
So watch it.
Do you have one director that is your dream director to work with?
Besides Pedro Al Modova, Alejandro Garcia,
let's say,
Of course, Corsesi,
man,
and Dezell,
the Babylon director.
That guy is now the the guy that I would love to work with.
Yeah.
I heard that he's working with me.
And obviously with Margot Robbie, that would be amazing.
Right, Margo.
Hello, if you're we're gonna tag Margot over there.
Margot Robbie.
It will be her honor to work with you.
Okay.
Because you're incredible.
You're incredible.
Now, we are at Better Than Sex.
It's a dessert.
It's super sexy here, right?
Yes, it is.
It's amazing.
And you're going to have to try the dessert and the sexy drinks because it's a dessert only and sexy drinks only.
I will break my diet.
And when I found out about this place, I was like, of course, I got to take my podcast.
You know, I love.
So let's do a back and forth really quickly about some personal, a little bit personal cash, because the girls want to know, okay?
Like, do you think, okay, you bring your date here
it's the mood is fabulous right it's dark it's candlelight it's all black and red and all the sexy pictures do you think food and drinks can put you in the mood can be foreplay for romance food is the way to get to anybody yeah oh my god so is it true that the way to a man's heart is i think it is but but wait it is as long as you prepare the food in terms of you're talking about your your partner yeah like
if i want to get to your heart
everything starts starts from the act of love of preparing the food for you
to feed your body.
I agree.
Oh my god, that's beautiful, romantic, and sexy.
I agree.
Nothing wrong ordering sushi.
But if you can.
I agree.
I think cooking and preparing.
It's a sandwich.
I even like preparing something together.
I think that's super sexy.
And the social media.
I think that's like major forcing.
And putting that food, that's going to go to your physical body.
I agree.
So what else puts you in the mood for romance?
Like what gets Ricardo Chavez like, okay
I'm really in the mood for romance.
You know everything is mental.
Yeah.
So first of all if I'm we were talking about the other person I need to
really
I don't know how to say this like I can obviously like somebody because she's beautiful.
Yeah.
But if I like her because she's kind or she's funny or something
something besides you need the mental body the connection.
Oh, I am in.
Yeah.
I'm in.
And obviously,
I love low light.
In my house,
my sons are like, dad, I mean, I can't see anything.
I know.
I love
candlelights.
The lowest.
Yes, I'm the same.
My house barely has any lights on it because I'm obsessed with candles.
But I'm like you, I need to have the mental connection.
Oh, that's good.
He can be the most handsome guy in the world if I don't have a mental connection.
Intelligence is the sexiest part of anybody.
I love that you said that because that's
one of the topics that I talk a lot about on my podcast is like, you know, this, oh my god, this girls that like the sugar babies that don't want to do anything.
Oh, pay my bills, buy me an air, but that is such a
god.
Yeah.
Just today I was talking about this with somebody.
Don't I deserve an airplane ticket?
Oh my god.
And the LA talk, you know, there's this way some girls that talk,
stay with the mouth open.
I wish you guys could see this.
That's so not sexy.
So not sexy.
I know, right.
Most men want, let's, and I want girls to believe that, most men want women that have something going on.
Genuine.
Genuine women.
Yeah.
First of all, I mean, we all like to impress, obviously, but just be you.
Yeah.
We all have so much stuff.
And have something going on.
Yes, of course, of course.
You need to be...
I mean, intelligence is great, but again, if you're a kind person, if if you're somebody who's working in yourself in any way, you don't have to be successful or rich or anything like that.
Just do something.
I agree.
I love women who read, for example.
For me, somebody who's culturedly.
Yeah, I'm the same.
You can't because I love talking.
Yeah.
And I read so much.
And when you talk to somebody who have no conversation and know nothing.
I agree.
I cannot date somebody dumb.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
Because even if you have the most amazing chemistry, you're only going to have sex like so many hours a day.
And then you want to sex.
And then you're like, yeah, I want to talk.
What do you have inside your head?
Sexiest, I don't know.
Entertain my brain.
This may sound weird, but
sexier than having sex for me is the conversation.
Yeah, it's
a sexy...
No, I agree.
I like the connection.
You were saying I need a brain connection.
For my body to be turned on, my mind needs to be turned on.
And you're just going to be a little bit more.
Otherwise, it's just animal.
It's just that it's boring.
It's boring.
It's just flat.
I love that you said that.
Now, Amigu, before I order our sexy sexy drinks and desserts,
where can people find you?
Like, if somebody wants to hear more about your coaching or follow your career, can you give us like I guess the easiest way is to just go online to my uh to my Instagram, Ricardo Chavez33.
Ricardo Chavez33.
Yeah, that's my acting uh Instagram.
Okay, well on my website, Ricardochavez.com.
Okay, and Chavez with the Z, Ricardo Chavez.com.
And on your website, people find out about
your projects, your coaching.
well to be honest I have you haven't updated I need to update my my website but I'm very honored that you have time to do this because I know how crazy crazy busy you are
but it's easy just write me anywhere just put in Caro Chavez and I will appear somewhere else yeah and I haven't even had time to talk about that but I will talk about in the next podcast you have an incredible skincare line oh yeah and I I don't lie you know that about me and so do my listeners I fell in love with it because when I tried it I was like holy shit
I felt like was a mini face
everybody asks me and I only endorse stuff that I fall in love with and I did fall in love with divas never age not because of our friendship because I would have told you right if I didn't like it a lot of our friends do I would have said my friend that's no good
but divas never age your organic skincare line is fantastic and you did it for women I did it for women because again I love to transform people and I was working so hard with spiritual emotional and other parts but then I was like wait I'm not doing much for the physical.
Yeah.
So I designed and created these products and they are organic, they're natural, they are cruelty free which is very important for you
and they work.
Oh my god.
They really really work.
I'm telling you girls with all my heart.
Everybody always asks me how come my skin is so great and you know of course I drink a lot of water.
la la la don't sleep with makeup but that's my go-to routine it's the little three products try it out two weeks and you'll see yeah no i've been doing it for a few years now and that's all i use and me too
i use it of course twice a day it's divas and divos never age yeah i mean it's the name is for women but i mean this is
because age is on our mind too it's how you carry yourself and how you take care of yourself nowadays guys love taking care of themselves as well right yes of course that's so important nowadays and nowadays we see people who look great at 60 70 80.
yeah we look before i mean you were like 50 and you were old you were done now we look better better and better.
Oh, yeah.
Well, you know what?
You can see old people at 30.
I see a lot of old people at 30 or 20s because they don't take care of themselves.
They have a rolling mindset.
Self-love is so important.
Self-love is separate.
I hear a camera because there's a camera crew coming to film you.
I know that for another project, that's how busy this man is.
Now he's going to do a film of something TV show for like a United States TV show and a German TV show.
And I hear the camera crew is arriving.
But thank you so much for your time.
Thank you.
you're incredible and let's have some dessert oh let's let's yes go such a nice
