Okay,
so about today's episode, I had a great friend of mine, her name is Julia,
and she doesn't want people to know who she is, so we did no videos because, of course, she was talking about a story that her husband cheated on her.
And I wasn't supposed to say her name, and of course, I'm such a freaking clutch.
I said her name twice,
and then she said, Yeah, that's okay, publish.
There are gazillion julies in the world it doesn't really matter so and I have this thing since I started this podcast that I never never edited whatever I record you guys listen to everything the good the great the mistakes the bad so I said you know what I'm just gonna go all out and publish since she was such a nice part about it and she said just go ahead and publish And I got a bunch of messages today.
Oh my god, you said her name.
And then you said you were gonna delete it.
and you didn't delete it.
Yes, and this is exactly the reason why I published the way it was
because
honestly, the world is so fabricated nowadays with all of this social media.
And I'm like one of the first in line to say, Yes, I work with my social media, I work with my Instagram, I do social media management for other people.
But most of it out there is so fake.
We talk about it all the time on this podcast when it comes to dating and dating apps.
People put fake pictures, filters, pictures of somebody else.
They added their body, they added their face, they added everything about their lives.
And I'm what I am trying to do is basically maybe bring real back.
Remember how there was the thing, bringing sex back?
I'm trying to bring real back.
And I am actually trying to show you guys out there that
this is how real life is.
We make mistakes.
And like last week's episode, I was literally stuck on a freaking freeway for three and a half hours because there are protesters there and they closed up the freeway.
I wasn't sitting at home on a fancy studio with all this fancy equipment, which I don't even have, by the way.
So I've been trying to show with my podcast that this is simply a person
trying to start a conversation about the subjects, which I think are subjects that most of us want to talk about.
And when people ask me, Are you a dating expert?
Are you a sex expert?
Are you kidding me?
No, I'm not an expert in anything, much less on these subjects.
I am a girl that was married for a long time.
My husband died, and after he died, my life turned into complete chaos.
And I am proud to say I've survived it.
And I have tried to date again, and I got burned.
And I'm trying to learn.
So, this podcast is actually
very real.
And when I say real, everything you listen, all the stories are 100%
real life, non-edited.
And when I have a guest and they ask me about it, oh, what if I make a mistake?
you edit?
I'm like, no, whatever we say is what goes.
If I make a mistake, my listeners are going to listen to it.
They're going to participate.
Because I am hoping that a lot of us out there feel the same way, that we are sick of all the phonies, all the fakes.
We want to meet real people.
We want to listen to real stories.
So anyways, that's a kind of like a parenthesis on today's episode.
But I've been thinking about it all day, and I thought it was so important to bring you guys that because, yes, her name is Julia, and yes, she forgave her husband.
And we are gonna talk a lot more about cheating and about honesty in relationships because apparently it's a very sensitive topic and that a lot of people do want to talk about.
So, please do send me your stories, your opinions.
If you want to be a guest, DM me.
And I have to to say again, it means the world to me.
Each one of you that actually listens to this podcast and that actually goes through the trouble of following my Instagram account and sending me a message.
Thank you so much with all my heart.
I think I said a little bit on my Instagram this afternoon that, of course, I have been trying to book celebrities, I have been trying to book fancy guest experts with a gazillion followers, but all of them, or most of them, of course, they want to be on the
top podcasts in the country, in the world.
Most of them don't want to come do the underdog podcast or the new podcast like me.
But I'll keep pushing, I'll keep trying because every time one of you listens to an episode and sends me a message, it encourages me so much to go on.
I love you guys.
I wish everyone the most wonderful weekend, and I'll see you next Tuesday.
Cat on the lose.
Love you.
