about Frenemies.

So, before we talk about your crazy dating idea, let me ask you, Kasha, did you listen to the Frenemies episode?

Yeah, and I was actually at one of the episodes,

and I could not believe you were on the beach with me when Regina George now we're calling her Regina George she was kind of a bully and she was kind of um she was like can I say yeah

yes it's no filter here yeah I'm sorry but she was the biggest bitch I think I ever met She wasn't very nice to you right and you were the new girl coming in just to visit yes I was you know she well for the first time I saw her she was measuring me up and down which was another night but okay fine.

I thought she was a little snobby, but well, whatever, there's tons of snobby girls like that in the world.

So, but then the next time it was just, I mean, she was nice in the night in the hi when she said hi, and I'm like, oh, she's nice now.

But then later, she just nah, I'm sorry, but that's not how you treat people, you know, that's not, and especially if you're a friend.

I agree, literally, can I say what she did?

Yes, you can say anything you want here.

Her boyfriend, whatever that guy is, um, adorable, super nice.

So polite.

And he was literally offering me water because I don't drink alcohol.

So he was literally offering me water and all this necks.

She literally did not look on my face.

And I was sitting near her.

Yeah.

I mean, just, you know, just an attitude.

And I completely agree with you.

And it's interesting for you guys that didn't listen to the Mean Girls episode, go back because we were talking about girls that treat other girls badly or bully them or treat them like shit.

And this is not high school girls.

We are not college girls.

We are grown women, most of us in our 40s.

And so this is like ridiculous behavior for adults.

And I think women should...

We both do.

That's why we get along.

We should be supportive of each other.

There is space for everybody.

I mean, why would you judge someone that you never saw in your life?

Oh, she's gorgeous and she's skinny and she's coming from New York.

She's a bitch.

Why in the world would you do that to someone?

I don't even know if that's what she thought.

But that's how it makes me feel, you know?

I mean, I didn't say enough, but I mean, the whole time the guy was offering, she literally would get the pack of snacks, offer it to the girl that was next to me, talking to me, and not even look at my face and say, do you want one?

behavior, right?

It's not adult behavior.

It's bizarre.

We're talking about from 12 o'clock until 6 o'clock at afternoon.

It was like 6 hours sitting together.

She never referred one word to me while her friends were being super nice to me.

And she was sitting next to us.

I know.

It's so weird.

But anyways, now that we got that out of the way,

one of the main reasons why I adore you so much is because I know you are super supportive.

You're so encouraging of other women's work like I am.

So here there's like no room for this baloney.

That's why I did the episode.

I put it all out there, and you take it for what it is.

Now, let's start talking about your fun story.

When I started talking to her, guys, we found out because I was telling about my podcast and all my bad dating stories, blah, blah, blah.

And then she's like, Oh, I have a really bad one.

And it's about a guy that lives in Miami.

Maybe you know him.

And yes, I do know this guy.

I'm not going to say I was his friend, but I used to see him around town and whatever.

So the theme is she dated this guy and turns out he's a con artist.

There is no other way to put it, right?

Right.

He passed himself as the super successful businessman.

Even to me, that was the image I had of him.

He has hundreds of thousands of followers and he dresses well

and he tells people, I don't know, that he's an entrepreneur or something.

So let's do this.

Let's pill the...

We're not going to say his name.

Yeah.

But we're going to call him the con artist.

So you met this guy.

Well, I was going through the toughest phase of my life.

And sometimes, you know, and I think that's where the con artists

attack.

Yes.

They prey on the weak.

Yeah.

And so my mom had passed away.

And I was in the worst part of my life.

And literally, I was like, God, please.

It was the first time I actually had the thought of why people kill themselves and when I had that thought I'm like oh my god I need to go to a church yes that's really bad and I said I'm gonna go and uh so when I had that thought I said I need to go to church the next day the very next day I went to a church and I asked God I said please if you really exist stop sending me like you know disasters in my life please send me a nice person because i was in the middle of a breakup

and i wasn't sure if i wanted to be with the guy or not.

I was, you know, I was just lost in everything.

And well, by the end of the day, I get all these lights on my Instagram.

Funny thing, he is very religious, but he liked all of my bikini photos.

Right?

So, and I'm like, who is this?

My dad is a hypocrite.

Yeah.

So I was like, well, maybe.

Maybe it's just a good contact for business.

That's what I saw because I didn't think he was attractive when I saw his profile.

So maybe it could be a good business contact because it looked like he was you know his profile is exactly super successful I thought the same thing when I met him I'm like oh this guy is so successful right maybe he knows so many people he can open some doors maybe we can do some business together I had the same impression when I met him so so I didn't think of anything like men and women but then he sent me a message right away on my DM oh can you give me your phone number and I was like I gave actually the wrong number because I was like nah and then he actually I think he he called and it's like you gave me the wrong number so i i then i gave the right one and right away at the same second monday at 10 30 in the morning he calls me i'm like who called that was the first flag who calls at 10 30 in the morning to chit chat for three hours oh wow in a monday morning when everybody else is hustling yeah and that was the first flag but when you're like you didn't know yeah at the time right then you know he talked about god because how did you find me he's like i don't know i said and i was stupid I gave him actually the I said did you find me in the because I posted a tag in the church oh yes and then you know he said he found you through the church yeah and then he talked about the Bible for three hours I'm like

oh my god God

so in my mind I thought God answered me you know he gave me the this is the guy and he started oh yeah and I saw I just broke up and he was just playing like a friend I want to help you I want to go through this with you I told him that I went through a lot and I already got stolen, like a terrible story before by an ex-boyfriend in a business.

Like, we're talking about tons of money.

So, when you met this guy,

your first impression of him was great.

Oh, yeah.

You thought, okay, he's a success.

He told you?

He told me he was friends with Tony Robbins.

He was friends with

a lot of names.

Oh, yes, a lot of names.

Now, looking back, we know if the person drops a lot of names, blah, blah, blah, da, da, it's probably

a soldier.

But he presented himself to you like, I'm this super successful business guy and I'm very wealthy.

I live in Sunny Isles, which is a very high-end area in Miami.

So you end up falling for him.

Right.

I mean, and then the second, you know, I mean, the red flags kept coming, but I was so, I wouldn't, you know, I was in that phase that I didn't want to be alone anymore.

My dad was gone, my mom was gone, and I felt like an orphan.

I needed a husband or someone to be a family.

And he sounded like the perfect guy.

Church guy, successful, you know, I'm going to help you through, go through this.

You know, God is going to help you.

And he put everything in God.

So I believed, you know, and I mean, the second flag was he told me, I came to Miami.

And I said, oh, I'm in Miami.

It wasn't like we planned or, you know, but I was actually, I came like in last minute.

Some friends were coming and I came with them and I said I'm actually in Miami because we used to talk only on the phone and oh I'm gonna send you my driver to pick you up wherever you are and the guy actually I said oh so how long do you know him for and the guy he asked me I said no I just met him okay and so he took me and I get there okay it's an okay building but it wasn't as fancy it wasn't like a super high-end sunny

sunny I was building like he told you that he lived in this super fancy apartment, right?

Exactly.

It was a simple, I mean, it was modest, you know?

So, what he would say to you?

Oh, he said, Oh, this is he would say, Oh, my family has oil business in Texas.

He had all those businesses going on, right?

We have a bunch of properties here on Sunny Isles, and he named a bunch of the nicer ones, Apolina, Jade, you know.

And

I believed, and he says, Oh, they're all landed through a famous, successful

businessman that I know.

I do that all the time.

As a matter of fact, all my cars, because

all the cars that he posts on Instagram, he says it's his.

So he says, all my cars are also like, you know, I just give it to friends to drive.

And that's how I close a lot of business because I make like a bond with that.

I believe it, you know?

Yeah.

So, I mean, what it was not to believe.

Yeah.

The guy dresses up.

Yeah, you know.

So how long did you date him and believed in all the stories?

So right away, I thought everything was great.

Then right away I met his mother and I thought it was kind of weird because she didn't sound as, you know, successful, let's say.

She was very nice.

I can't say anything about her.

Very sweet.

And after,

probably when his dad came around and he talked so, oh, his dad had a horse ranch in Texas, very fancy from the pictures and videos you showed me and the mansion and the oil business, you know, you think.

So then the dad dad comes along and he literally asked me for $60.

Can you lend me $60?

He came from Brazil and I'm like, that is.

So that was like a flag also.

But I said, why is he asking me for $60?

But you kept going on.

I kept going on.

Yeah.

I mean, I had a bunch of red flags and I kept going on because I thought, well, maybe he's a good guy.

Then when I really found out,

let's...

go to that episode.

Probably two months, I would say.

And he literally...

How long were you dating?

Chuma?

You were two Probably.

I'm terrible in dates, but probably about two months.

Okay.

And that was when

his pastor, which he put his pastor to kind of convert me and tell me.

He was a preacher from the church.

Yeah.

And it wasn't the church that he was going.

It was kind of like,

how do you call it?

I forgot the term.

Like a cult.

Like a coach.

It was a coach.

And then the guy was trying to coach both of us.

And he, another red flag.

Oh, we have to give the 10%.

It it wasn't 10 you know how the church they give 10 he asked me to do 20

and i'm like why 20 isn't it 10

oh no but if you want something great to happen in your life it has to be 20 i'm like okay so i gave 20 and at this point you're dating this guy and he's telling you that he's very wealthy he's very successful and you're paying for stuff not yet not yet until then he was still not like you know 100 showing me what it was so until then we would definitely just go to, he would never go to restaurants.

You know, he would be like, oh, well, just, let's cook it at home.

And I was, I thought I was like, oh, that's not, you know, I don't know.

It's tired of dating.

You want to go out?

So that never happened.

And sometimes we go, we get there.

He would literally take pictures and then like get into a bad mood and like get into an argument made and say, let's go.

And then now I know that he's well known by doing that because other friends told me about places that she would go to a place only take a picture and leave yeah and not like you eat there or anything no I never ate in a restaurant with him I think maybe twice and the twice I paid for

so then one of the times when I saw you that's how I will get there yeah so then I after that I the biggest red flag was when his well his pastor called me And I was in that time at that house, I told you in Orleanu.

I was living temporarily in Orleanu.

Lu.

And it was already hard enough for all the stuff that was going on, my mom's death and all the stuff.

And he called me and he goes, I need to tell you something, but you really, I'm only going to tell you if you're willing to help.

And obviously I'm like, yeah, of course.

What's going on?

But back then, I was already having a lot of arguments with him because he wanted me to be submissive.

And I'm a strong woman.

I'm sorry.

I'm not stupid.

You tell me things.

I'm going to question.

So I used to question him a lot.

And he didn't like that oh you need to just be a super

that's what the Bible says the Bible says the woman needs to follow the man and then we actually went to a business oh then we decided to do business together because he knew I was savvy and I knew so I he goes okay let's put a company together and so the first meeting came along and he literally made me I did the whole business plan presentation by myself he didn't do anything and when I asked him for things to help me out, he didn't know anything that I was mentioning.

So I said, How did you not?

How do you not know how to, you know, the terms and all the stuff that I'm talking about if you do that for years?

Right.

Oh, no, I don't know because that's my, you know, I used to have assistants, secretaries, they would do that for me.

I said, well, even if they do that, they can't do the meeting for you.

Yes.

You know, so that was another flag.

If a person doesn't know anything about business and he's telling you that it's so successful, and I was like, well, okay, then the whole meeting, I

actually

made the meeting happen and later he got mad at me because you shouldn't do that you know I'm the man I'm like well because I told the guy oh I actually am her part his partner and I did the whole business presentation to the guy he literally said oh women just uh we can we can give us their credit cards and they will

because I guess for a con artist like him it's easier if you just shut up and don't question anything because eventually of course you're gonna find out that all his of his his life was lies right so you're dating so then the pastor came along when he tried to be a little pastor and he says oh I'm just gonna tell you the story if you're gonna help I said sure he goes well he is six months without paying his rent oh my god and and

his car is

we're living together right no not yet that he was still here and I was I was there.

Okay.

And so I had no idea of anything.

And I said, the car is not paid for almost seven months.

He said, he needs help.

He can't be there anymore.

They're going to take him off.

I said, wait a minute.

He keeps telling me that that apartment and all the other properties that he showed me was his family's property.

Well, not anymore.

Oh, now

he was embarrassed to tell you.

Until then, I kind of understand because we all go through phases in life, tough phases that maybe we don't want to tell a stranger.

So I was okay with that.

And when he says, his ex-girlfriend made him lose everything,

and I was like, wow, I relate myself because I actually had an ex-I had an ex-boyfriend.

So you stayed with him.

Then I said, of course, he can come.

Oh, can he come and stay with you?

Of course.

Please don't talk about the subject yet.

I said, Well, what does he do?

Then he says, Well, in reality, he's trying to do business, but he's doing for now Uber driving, which is fine.

Yeah, but not if somebody lies to you that he's a multi-millionaire and he's actually a broke uber job.

That's a major con.

Right.

I mean, then until a certain point, as I went through a lot in my life, also, I was like, oh, poor guy.

Maybe he doesn't want to like, you know, to everyone tell he's going through a tough phase.

So I believe that his girlfriend, you know, wasted all his money or I don't know what happened.

And he went through a tough phase because I went also with an ex-boyfriend.

So I got kind of related, especially when he's at the ex-girlfriend.

So here he comes along with all his stuff.

I'm not gonna say crap,

to live with me.

Wow.

And I said, the first day he comes and hugs me.

Thank you for everything.

You know, I said, I related so much.

So nice.

And then a few days pass,

some weeks pass by, and I see him no work on his phone all day on Instagram looking for girls.

Then I started.

But let me ask you one question.

At what point, because I want the listeners to hear about this part.

Let's get the juiciest of him.

The ring.

Oh, God.

This guy gave you a wedding ring.

Yeah, I have the picture.

Was it when he moved in with you?

No, it was after.

He was already wedded.

Okay, so he moved in with you.

A while later, he asks you to marry him.

Right.

He proposes.

Right.

And he gives you a ring.

And supposedly.

A diamond.

So you're like all excited and emotional.

He literally fell on his knees.

Honestly, I wasn't that emotional and I wasn't that excited.

No, because we already,

but you thought it was a real diamond.

No, right away I spot it.

I know that.

Really?

I'm a well-traveled person.

Oh, my God.

So he gives you this ring in a box.

It looks so fake.

So you knew it was fake.

I looked at it.

But he tells you it's a real diamond.

We didn't talk about it.

I mean, it was literally the whole family in a box.

Wait.

When he gives you the ring,

he's proposing to you.

Yeah.

He's making it seem like it's a real diamond.

Right.

Yes.

Okay.

Yes.

And you looked at it and you're like, that doesn't look right.

Yeah, I was like, that doesn't look that great.

But okay, well, thank you.

And how do you not accept it?

You know, the whole family is looking at me, waiting.

I had no idea that was going to happen.

I said, yes.

But inside of me, I was already having red flags.

So, and then his daughter actually told me, oh, daddy went to another store to get a box.

You know, this is not from the store and she I was like oh really so then I

was a fake Did you get it checked?

No, I don't need to

get it I still have I mean if this ever if he ever tries to do anything against me I have proof of every single thing that I'm mentioning.

Yeah, you know especially like conversations I have all documented so what was the the straw that broke your back that you're like I gotta get rid of this guy because well, first I started supporting him financially.

Yeah, that's a tough one.

And I mean, I had that property there to make money.

It was on an Airbnb property.

And so it was like to make money.

And then with him and his daughters, then his daughters came along living there.

I wasn't making money.

And you're supporting everybody.

And I was supporting because I knew the situation.

So I got them.

Disney passes for a whole year.

I was paying every month for it.

You know, just, and he would literally, he would go sometimes to drive the whooper, but he would come back later, like, oh, I didn't make any money.

I didn't make even $100.

Okay, until then, I was like, oh, poor guy, you know, it wasn't that bad.

But then he started, he used to talk very bad about his ex-girlfriend.

So I thought she was the devil that did all of this to him.

Right.

And then what made me really like, I can't take this anymore, was

the religion thing was very heavy.

I couldn't do anything.

Everything was wrong.

I couldn't question anything.

My questions started being a red flag, you know, because I was questioning as an intelligent woman.

We question what's going on.

Yes.

So, and then

I had a party in the Hamptons, and he didn't want, he wanted to go with me.

I bought it, you know, everything was all set to go.

And he literally, last minute, he decided not to go because a very good contact of his was coming to town and wanted to see him.

So I was like, Okay, I'm gonna go by myself.

Oh, no,

he didn't want you to his mother, so I was not okay, you know, because

a god person cannot go.

And that's when I started like I had it, you know, the girls, it was a lot of work, you know, it was being a mother of two girls 24-7.

I couldn't work anymore with a guy that is not helping you at all, and just causing all kinds of problems.

Even when I met, when I saw you, I didn't meet you, but that's we're going to talk about this one on the second half.

Oh, okay, so not that far.

so what else where else do I go now

so what happened you you guys are living together you know you're wearing this fake wedding ring yes

wait a minute sorry to put you off I didn't even want to wear because it would be rough

so I said to him I it's kind of big because I have super small fingers I said it's kind of big so just take it to fix and I knew he was not going to be able to fix because it was a fake ring And I said, just, you know, I don't want to use it right now.

But I have it actually, but I never would.

and he's living in your house and you're supporting him.

So, how do you cut him off?

And you're like, that's it.

Okay, so like, I think we got to talk about it on the well, we have a few minutes because then the other part, yeah, we're gonna have to have a second afternoon, yes, because this story is true.

So, then I was like, I had it, I was, I was in New York, and I was every day was a fight, because everything that I said, or everything that I questioned was a problem.

So, then I decided, you know what, I don't even know if I don't think I want this guy anymore.

And my friends were already like, this is a con art.

This is a comart.

And I was like, no, poor guy, poor guy, because I went through something similar in the past.

So I was relating myself.

Then I said,

he says, oh, there's a girl that wants to rent the house.

And I said, oh, okay, that's fine.

Who's the girl?

Oh, she's just, you know, some like an interior, like from a little town, a small town girl.

I ended up, she was a beautiful, gorgeous girl.

He started following.

I'm smart.

You find out he's enjoying your house.

my house with another girl I went to her star is and she was literally on my poo with the drink that I drink she made a little boomer that is I

and then the next day I said I'm sorry you need to go I called him I said leave my house now I give you an hour to leave to leave completely or I'm calling you good yeah

that's the part I wanted to get so you've you finally had it the guy has balls I mean seriously I hope he listens to the podcast you win the trophy for biggest con artist balls in miami i'm gonna do another a second part with you because i want to talk about when we actually i didn't know you when you were with him right and what he said to you about me so you guys stay tuned because the episode with sherry is coming back for a second
