Good morning, Millennials.

Welcome back to the toast.

Happy Monday.

That deadass feels like a Wednesday because the week is so short.

We have so much to fucking talk about.

Hey, Jax, how you dern?

Dern good.

We have so much to talk about.

I was like working all night last night, you know, watching Wicked.

So I worked all night.

It doesn't feel like a Monday.

I worked all night.

I saw it late because we went after the kids went down and like, I didn't get home until the night.

I mean,

that's so crazy of you.

I was thinking, like, she's such a good mom.

Like, just miss bedtime one time.

Like, just go to the movies at four o'clock.

Like I went at five.

It was perfect.

We got home at like 8.30.

I went to bed at nine.

Like it was perfect.

No, seriously, I got home at 11.40.

That's so stupid.

No, I didn't think that.

I don't know what I would have done differently.

I wouldn't have like left my children to go sit at the movies.

Like even sitting there and they were sleeping.

I'm like, now I remember why I never want to go to the movies.

Like this experience is not for someone with young children, like

least of all me.

But the movie, I had to see the movie.

So

I did what he was supposed to see.

this is all Jackie.

I wasn't supposed to see the movie.

I bought tickets intentionally for Thanksgiving weekend.

I thought it would be such a nice way to spend the Thanksgiving weekend.

Everybody's out of the city.

There were tons of tickets.

And then Jackie sprung on me on Saturday.

She's like, hey, I think I'm going to see Wicked tomorrow night.

Like if you could see it too, so we can recap it together.

And by the way, trying to get tickets to Wicked in Manhattan is like trying to get tickets to Hamilton.

Like it was.

insane.

I went to the most random theater at like this random time and the theater we booked had three rows.

And I was like, where?

Are we going to someone's living room?

Like it was so scary.

We were like so afraid up until the moment we walked in it was totally fine it was just like a really small theater um and we are going to do a big official wicked recap it's going to be our first story if you're looking to avoid spoilers check the timestamps in the description of this episode there will be a full timestamp for like anything you could possibly spoil so that's the first story we won't get into it it'll be hard not to it's also going to be so hard not to sing because i was so well behaved at the theater last night

I can't stop singing all morning.

And though I'd never show it, I'd be so happy I could melt.

Like

I actually feel, and I promise we won't dive into the whole thing right now.

I just want to start off today's episode by like actually apologizing to Cynthia and Ariana because

my ass was in the theater holding a shit ton of space for the lyrics of Defying Gravity.

And I actually think my husband was also holding space for it too.

Interesting.

I feel as though they've been acting so crazy on this press store.

Like I fully understand why.

And given the performances that they delivered, like they are allowed to act however they want.

Like if I'm that talented, yeah, I'm also crazy.

Okay.

Yeah.

Well, that's the thing.

Like with that level of talent, you have to be crazy.

Like you're not also, like Elon said, I'm not also going to be like a cool, normal dude.

Right.

But it's also kind of an oxymoron to have to hold space for defying gravity when like if you're defying gravity, it doesn't need to be.

You're talking about it from like a scientific standpoint.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It's just like, it's actually funny.

Now, let's try for the next like five minutes not to talk about Wiggin because we're going to be able to do it.

I'll try and remember what else I did this weekend.

Well, I really did not do much except that I watched the parent trap.

I remember what I did this weekend.

And I want to talk about the parent trap.

I mean, we literally talked about it two weeks ago on Toasta Ween.

We did a whole episode dedicated to it.

Yeah.

And I re-watched it on Saturday night because Ben and I just like couldn't decide on something and we ended up just watching it and like loving it.

I obviously, I know I'm like highly emotional.

I cried so many times during Wicked and I'm just, I'm crying.

Like that's what I do.

But I feel as though, like, don't write off my tears that I'm about to describe.

It's just like pregnancy hormones.

Cause like I actually, the scene in the, first of all, the concept of the parent trap, and we've talked about this, like splitting up girls and kids, neglect, it's three identical strangers made into like a fictional romanticized film um it's terrible what they did to those girls but the scene where like the american girly goes to london comes home from camp and is like in the house for the first time looking for her mom and she like runs up the stairs into her mother's arms like I was literally sobbing.

It's so sad.

It's not cute.

It's devastating.

Yeah.

It's child abuse, neglect.

I was shocked.

Yeah.

It's not just like she got, she got like pulled the wool over her either.

She convinced her she's annie it's like this is your long-lost mother it was absolutely devastating and she's like tried to connect with her mother whilst pretending to be someone else it was it's a lot for a young child it's a lot for a pregnant person seriously to watch it i was feeling having a lot of complex emotions obviously the nostalgia of the film and i was oh you know why i watched it because lindsay lohan's been doing like a big press tour for her new netflix holiday movie yeah i was like what is she even doing press for um and she went kind of viral for talking about parent trap on watch traps live and i watched that clip and she was like looking so good i'm having like a lindsey renaissance i just felt i found her on instagram a couple of months ago because she's looking so gorgeous.

And

then I was like, you know what?

I'll watch Parent Trap.

And I really wish that I didn't.

Lindsay Lohan, like everyone is talking about her.

I watched her whole episode of Watch It Happens Live because I thought it was so cute that she did it with Lacey, Gretchen Weeds.

By the way, that's why Watch What Heavens Live is like really always like supreme.

Like they do shit like that.

But they're also both promoting Netflix holiday movies.

So like it worked on Netflix's part.

And it was such a cute episode.

They're both doing so well.

But of course, like Lindsay, who at one point was very unwell, it looks better than ever.

So clear, like so funny.

Just the Lindsay that we always knew.

And it's crazy that she's just like back.

And this is how we all like wished that she was going to grow up to be.

And there's actually a big conversation on TikTok happening now about Lindsay Lohan and Christine Aguilera.

I don't know if you've seen.

About their faces.

Yeah, they're two women who I think like went to a little bit of extremes when it came to like filler and Botox and plastic surgery over the course of their like young adult lives and now have really reined it in and they're everyone's trying to figure out out who this doctor is who's clearly like working with women in hollywood like christine aguilera and and like lizzie lohan who have not only pulled back so much of the plastic surgery but look amazing for their age right but no i don't think it's that they've pulled back the plastic surgery i think it's just they've done something else that no sorry they've pulled back the look of like you know being really plastic surgery looking like puffy yeah but i think they they did something oh i mean some people are saying it's like oh they stopped the filler no like i don't know face transplants what they look amazing you guys have until i give birth to figure out who that doctor is and get me an appointment.

Yeah.

Yeah.

They look really great.

Not a lot of movement, but who needs movement?

I was singing this morning.

My face was moving so much.

It's like, stop it.

You know who needs movement?

Actually, actors.

I don't know.

Lindsay's such a great actor.

She's in, I didn't watch her new movie, but like, you forget, like.

She is an amazing actress.

And we always say, like, there's no such thing as a good actress.

Like, everyone is a liar.

Anyone can do it.

No, there are actually some people who give them any role, they will be good in it.

I mean, and honestly, the parent trap is really evident of her talent.

She was so young playing two different girls, two different accents, two different roles.

She carried that whole fucking film on her back.

Talking to herself.

Yeah, actually talking to nobody at most of the film.

Like, it's actually beyond impressive.

You're right.

She is like, at the core, like a very skilled actress.

Yeah.

Also, she reminds me a lot about Amanda Bynes.

And I feel like that feeling that we have about Amanda Bynes, which is like, I would love to see her in something today.

Like, she was so, she's so funny.

She's such a good one.

Like, she just is lost.

It's a perfect comparison.

It's like, imagine if Amanda Bynes, like, just got it together and was, like, back to work and looking great and feeling great and sounding great.

Like, that's how this feels.

That's such a great comparison.

And we need to get Amanda Bynes on the Lindsey Lohan Expressway.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Because she's like the talent of our generation.

She is the comedy.

The comedic talent.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So what did you do this weekend besides Wicked at Midnight?

Besides Wicked at Midnight, Dana was here this weekend and she was really only here for 24 hours and we had the best day ever she brought her baby here and because she was in town for a wedding so she stayed over the following night and it was just amazing like

friendship evolving maturing children meeting we had seriously the best most wholesome time tell me about the meeting of the minds the wireless children meeting the wedman children child the wedman child they loved him i mean reed is not old enough to like i couldn't say if reed loved him but like he wasn't screaming at them right but they couldn't get enough of him they just wanted to watch him change his diaper like just everything he was doing they were just like watching him and tell me about like dana as a mom i was with her like a couple of weekends ago and she was like holding a baby and i was seriously like i couldn't get over it because she is a child yeah uh she packs for him in a backpack like claudia i posted this to my story but i feel like people i meant to follow up because i feel like where people were probably like oh well josh probably had a suitcase yeah josh had a backpack I didn't get him.

Josh had a backpack.

Dana had her transport and her baby had a backpack.

And that is how they traveled for the weekend.

Like, where do they keep the bottles?

Let me tell you something.

This really, I think, reflects to a conversation we were having last week about how a lot of the anxiety I have about like child wearing is so much of the clutter and so much of the like shit and consumerism.

And honestly, the Dana Webman like route of motherhood, listen, I get

webman minimalists, right?

I actually understand it.

And I hope to be like her, honestly.

If I could just throw everything into three backpacks for a weekend trip with my family and I'm going to a wedding,

Jackie, that's beautiful.

It's so crazy to me.

Like when I travel with just one baby, like my carry-on would be bigger than their backpack.

It's insane.

Like just of what to bring on the plane, let alone my suitcase.

She's a marvel.

I know, but I just, I also like stuff.

I like having options.

I like a couple of cozy blankies.

Of course, options.

Plus, like, I also had, I told her, don't bring anything.

Like, I'll give you clothes.

I'll give you carrier.

I'll give you stroller.

I'll give you changing table.

Like, don't bring a thing.

Yeah.

That's so nice.

It was really, really nice.

That was definitely a highlight of the weekend.

Oh, I also like sort of entered my nesting era very briefly.

And I sent you a link.

I actually like called and texted you like 55 times yesterday and you were just kind of done with me.

Like you were like posting on Instagram and writing in the family chat.

And every time I tried to solo communicate, are you mad at me or something?

Like every time I tried to solo communicate with you, I was brutally rebuffed.

So I posted one thing of my Siete pizzas on Instagram.

People thought I was making seven pizzas, so that made me chuckle.

And I also responded to that story.

You didn't respond to me back.

Because like texting you or calling you back, like it's just like a wormhole where that requires me in a good way.

Like then I'm on my phone for a while.

Like I'm talking to you on the phone, but I'm like with my kids and I just don't want to be on my phone.

So yes, I could shoot off a text.

I'm a burden.

I could shoot off a text to reply to the chat.

I could, you know, post something to Instagram, but like I want to, when I talk to you, like I'm sad.

And I would, and usually I would call you back in the evening, but I saw wicked.

I've actually been like largely ignored by you and your family all week.

I texted you and your husband separately together, asking the boys to call me.

What the hell is going on?

You guys are obviously like mad at me as a family.

We're not.

I mean, Saturday, like I was with Dana and we were like, like when we're doing stuff, like unless I'm sitting on the couch, like bored with the boys, like it's not a great time to call you.

And I don't want to be like talking to you while playing with them.

That's like distracted.

So I just like to talk to you when I'm on my own, but I was with them all day long.

I'm just saying, it has been noted, like the lack of communication.

I'm so sorry, but you were trying to get a hold of me.

What can I do you for?

Well, I wanted to show you these new tings I got at Bloomingdale's.

I bought so much new stuff.

Me and Ben started.

Ben the other day was like, We need to clean out the kitchen.

I said, What did you say?

And I agree.

Like, I have always been maintaining the kitchen, and I've just sort of given up these last couple of weeks, months.

I'm tired, I'm lazy.

And like, every time I do something, he undoes it.

So, whatever.

Yeah.

But I guess

I guess I didn't, you know, maintain for a couple of weeks, and now he's feeling like it's a little cluttered.

Oh,

and so he, we cleaned out like two big cabinets.

We're going to go cabinet by cabinet.

Each cabinet is like a monstrosity.

And when he, you know, did such a good job getting rid of so many things that we went to Bloomingdale's, we bought new things.

He needed a couple of new pans.

We needed, oh, I got some, I'm really like such a woman now.

Those like air-sucking containers that you put like flour in.

You know, like you push them up.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Oxo one.

Oxo.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And what else did I get?

Oh, oh, and this is what I texted you, a link.

I saw this fabulous collection of Judaica.

Oh, I saw that you sent me that.

And I didn't.

I bought a chala plate,

Shabbat candles, a pneumonora, a knife, all a part of this very like Dolce Vita Judaica collection.

Were you sending it to me because it's of the elk of dinnerware that we like, but it's Judaica?

Yeah, and it was reasonably priced.

So if you're

in the market for Judaica, I was just like spreading the wealth.

You wouldn't know that because you didn't respond.

Yeah, well, I haven't been in a place to chat like until right now.

Well, that's good because we have so much to catch up on.

And I do feel as though

I'm so happy I could melt if we don't start talking about wicked.

Okay, so should we get into it?

Is there any other odds and ends to wrap up?

I don't think so.

No, I like slept, ate, and spent money all weekend.

Like, that's literally all I did.

Oh, I did, I did drop some coin yesterday at the mall.

I went to the mall on Friday, and it was literally the most unsuccessful like thing ever.

It was just, I couldn't find what I wanted.

I tried on an outfit that was cute.

I was like, but no, it's expensive.

So I left it, just bought like 12 lipsticks at Macy's.

I was like, forget it.

Not 12.

12.

Because they sell Kylie Cosmetics.

Wow.

Then all weekend I was thinking about that outfit I tried on.

I was like, I really need it.

I'm going to Dallas.

I have like a big day in Dallas, like doing some work stuff.

So we went back to the mall yesterday and I just walked in.

I'm like, give me the skirt, give me the sweater, give me the order the tights.

I'll take the songs.

Yep, we'll take it all.

I want the Gucci Sangha.

I just, I went nuts.

She went nuts.

So I try to conserve i'm proud of i'm actually proud of you yeah shout out simkai guardian now shout out simkai charity things um i am ready to dive in because i gotta get to the first story so if it's okay with you i'll i'll allow it without further ado

Thank you slash chart.

Are you emotional about Masterclass?

Thank you slash chart.

Yeah.

Beautiful concept.

Okay, so starting now, if you want to avoid wicked spoilers, check the timestamps and just go straight to story number two.

Yes.

However, I feel like everybody knows the story of Wicked, so the spoilers won't really be in like us talking about the storyline, but just like if you want to see what your own original thoughts would be before hearing ours and not let us influence the way that you see the movie, skip to story two, check the timestamps.

But the news is that Wicked has soared past the the gladiator two at the box office earning the best opening ever for a broadway film adaptation people are really trying to make it like gladiator and uh wicked coming out coming out on the same weekend is like a barbenheimer no nobody's seen gladiator and i heard it was horrible by the way it looks good gladiator i love that palmezcal i just love that boy i i think maybe i've seen the first gladiator pieces of it so i'm not like a gladiator swirly but i would see this one it's like historical fiction Is it?

Yes, the Roman Empire.

I know nothing.

And like, I actually don't care.

By the way, like, I like the energy for Glicked, except I think the thing is, it's like

men want to see Wicked too.

I think with the Barbie movie, it was like the boys will see Oppenheimer, the girls will see Barbie, but like the guys want to see Wicked too.

Ben.

Okay, first of all, I saw his video.

Ben absolutely loved it.

And Ben, I didn't know he was like on our way.

He's like, I didn't want to tell you this until we were almost there.

I've never seen

the Broadway show, which is crazy because Ben grew up in the city and Ben's mom loves like growing up.

They growing up.

It was so crazy.

I was so shocked.

He was like, does it have anything to do with the Wizard of Oz?

It was really crazy.

So I was like, so his experience was like seeing the Broadway show for the first time.

So fresh.

And he was speechless.

Like, we both at the very, like, when it ended, we just like, we were like, we couldn't speak.

We were genuinely speechless.

Ben did not stop talking about it the entire ride home, the entire night after playing all the music.

Like, it's, Wicked is for everyone.

Yeah, wicked is for everyone.

So

let's dive into a recap.

Ariana, time to recap.

Overall thoughts, like it was amazing.

It was incredibly done, like done to perfection, like a feast for the eyes.

Yeah.

You know, the sets, everything.

It was just like so beautiful.

And then they chose like seriously the most talented people.

And the storyline is all, there's a reason why it is like the most popular show on Broadway.

Like the fact that it's like Alpha, Wicked Witch of the West Villain Origin story, but like the story that they've added to it, like with Shiz and the friendship, like it's just an amazing story that ties back to The Wizard of Oz.

And Zach was then telling me all of the ways that it tied, because he's like telling me all these stuff about Wizard of Oz.

Like, I don't know if this is a spoiler for like part two, but I don't think there are spoilers at this point.

But this was what he's that.

I think it is.

I know what you're going to say.

And I think it is.

That Dorothy is like in it.

She's no, that's not what I was going to say.

No, I was going to say, like, do you know that Bach is the scarecrow?

Yeah, of course.

And Fiero is the lion.

The tin man.

Yeah.

And then the lion, he said, is the bear cub they released in the woods.

Well, they did nod to the Wizard of Oz a couple of times.

Like that opening sequence, but then it said wicked part one.

That was very nice.

That was very coded.

And then the little lion cub peeking his head out of the basket.

That was like Toto is.

I loved how much they like really subtly nodded to the original.

It was

realized I know nothing about the Wizard of Oz because then Zach was like, oh, and so the sister's the one who has the house fall on her.

That fucking sister.

Is that right?

He knows all that stuff.

Yeah, no, he's right.

That sister, first of all, okay, let's just talk.

Okay, I want to break it down like person by person because to me, I had the biggest, the biggest impact on me from the film was Ari.

We've always known she can sing and we've seen her act in like kids' stuff.

We know she can't not act, but I was not prepared to be as blown away by her as I was.

I mean, there's Oscar Buzz, like, it's all warranted.

To me, she completely stole the show.

And Glinda, like, is, I mean, Ari gets, is getting nominated as supporting actress.

Like, it's not.

I actually think she's, in this movie, she was kind of more the main character.

She opens the movie.

She's in the closing scene.

The only song, the only big song she doesn't sing on is like The Wizard and I.

And I thought she was just as main.

It's really, or if anything, like 50-50.

So that's surprising that she's a supporting character.

Maybe they didn't want to compete against each other.

Yeah, we always knew she could sing.

And also, the thing about Ari's voice is not only can she sing, but she can imitate anyone's voice.

She does it on Fallon all the time.

Like, so she could have literally copy and pasted Chris Cinchenowitz.

Yeah, and it wasn't even about that.

It was like when there was like a cast ensemble, like, dancing, dancing.

I'm only looking at Ariana.

Like, that's true.

They spend all these money on extras.

Like, didn't eat it.

I'm like, literally, could not take my eyes off of her.

Agreed, she radiated.

She was supreme.

Like, funny, she made me cry so many times.

Like, when they, that scene at the Ozdas where they like finally lay down their arms, like I was literally sobbing I think everyone's like not okay when she gets on the train Alphabet like before Glenda goes on and they just like say goodbye to each other and then she writes that note like I hope you get like I was sobbing like Ari has she's so sweet and I actually think that's who she really really is so like that part was so genuine she just kept making me cry like and then when she wouldn't get on the broomstick like like I understood her in that moment like yeah She was brilliant.

Like she completely stole the show.

Her singing was amazing, but I was so blown away by how funny she was, how genuine she was.

Like she really was as an actress.

I can't remember a time where I saw better acting.

Honestly, it was supreme.

Well, also being like very theatrical.

Yes, yes.

And then it wasn't until like maybe it was when it popular came on that then she started to remind me of Kristen Chen with the world and I was reminded like of how quirky she was.

And then when the two of them came out, I Dina and Kristen, I'm reminded like, seriously, how fucking crazy because Kristen Chunwith is.

Did you know that they were in the movie?

No, I saw that someone said, Margot Ashre, not someone.

She was like, Did anyone know like that

the people that are in it?

And then I saw someone say there are spoilers on the album.

So I was like, who could possibly be in it that like would make sense?

I was like, I thought for a second then, but I didn't think that would be such a big deal.

I thought it was like a really cute nod to the original, but it didn't like knock me out of my seat.

Well, I read a spoiler on Twitter and I was so annoyed because I wanted to know like what my genuine reaction would have been.

Ben was, Ben, even though he's never seen Wicked, like knew what they were to the original.

I was just like, aw, yeah.

It was so sweet.

I'm glad that they were in it because they really

put it on the map.

A thousand percent.

And I love that they were in it.

I love that they're all like seemingly friends.

I thought it was really well done within the context, even though that scene with like the play within the Emerald City was kind of my least favorite part.

I was really glad that they were in it.

Yeah, and by then I'm like, it's getting late, you know.

Yeah, I was gonna go home.

And then I want to talk about Cynthia because

I like actually

had chills.

The wizard and I was so spectacular.

And very similarly to like Ariana and Christian Chenwith, it's really hard not to compare to the original songs.

And I thought that so many instances, especially in The Wizard and I and Divine Gravity, Cynthia put like her own little spin on certain riffs, little nose changes.

And I thought it was so well done.

I mean, I, we knew her voice like was whatever, but I was really shocked, especially because she's saying in an accent, she's British.

And Ben was shocked to find out that she was British.

She did an amazing accent.

I forgot that she was.

I was, and I feel like Alphabet, like you slowly fall in love with her throughout the film because she's definitely like a Fabisana Punam.

And then she has this chip on her shoulder, and I totally get it.

But she's just like kind of this dark cloud.

And then you really start to understand her and learn her way.

I feel like you love Glinda from the very second.

And then, like, the longer the movie goes on, you see, like, Glinda's kind of flawed, and she's not strong.

Yeah, she's not strong, and she's not like this moral compass.

And with Alphabet, like, I feel like it's a slow roll.

And then by the end, like, you totally love her and you totally get her.

And I just like, I was so moved by Alphabet, like that scene at the Ozdas where she's crying.

Like, there's a couple of scenes where Alphabet is crying.

And the acting was just supreme.

Like, I was so,

I was, I was moved.

I was touched.

Like, I was,

I was everything, every word, every emotion.

Yeah, I thought Cynthia, like, really, she made Alphaba adorable.

Like, that's really the way I felt.

Like, she was just like, so cute.

And also, like, Alphaba, she's literally the wicked witch of the wish.

Like, she's this big bitch on campus.

And, like, Cynthia just, like, made her just a girl, you know, like, I want to fit into, like, I want to look pretty.

Like, I want to go to the dance.

Like, I like this boy.

Like, she just made her like they're adorable.

I also loved, I don't know how I would never even put it together that, like, yes, her skin is green, but like, Cynthia being black, like, it actually, I think, added a layer of depth to the film.

Like, she's being made fun of for her skin.

Like, and yeah, whose skin is green?

Nobody.

Like, I actually think, and no, I don't think any of the leading ladies on Broadway have ever been black.

So, like, I think it added another layer of depth to the whole film that was brilliant.

And those kids at Shiz were such fucking losers, pissing me off.

Like Bo and Yang, he was great, but like his character was such a fucking loser.

But I think it's such a great social commentary on how, like, the public, like, everybody just thinks what everybody else thinks.

Everybody's a follower.

And to be an original and to be different, like, is so unique and so hard.

And, and the way everybody just thought what Glinda thought, like, I loved it.

But those kids were pissing me off.

And the way they were being so dramatic, like, about, isn't this a school?

And I was confused.

Is everybody at this school like a magician?

Like,

no, nobody has powers, by the way.

Nobody in the realm.

But they know about powers, right?

like yeah they live in like a magical land but most of them are powerless

which about that her skin's even green

like they were i thought they were overreacting small-minded munchkins they are like munchkins so small-minded no there were a couple like distracting things about the movie that i was very aware that like this is a movie Bach.

Claudia.

Claudia.

And I just want to say, like, I thought Jonathan Bailey was amazing.

Like, I actually wouldn't change.

Dancing Through Life was a little too Backstreet Boys.

I liked it.

Oh, my God.

I completely disagree.

I loved it, but like, it was the most changed song, I thought.

Okay, well, Dancing Through Life, I had a be our guest moment.

Oh,

that was like, I remember growing up, like, on my iTunes, like, of all the wicked songs, like, that was my number one most played.

Like, that's my favorite one.

That's why, like, I think you should wear this hat to the party tonight.

Like, it really resonates with me.

And they took that out.

I don't even want to go there.

Disgraceful.

Also say, Jonathan Bailey, like, was amazing.

However, it's just like so crazy.

It It was like Bach was seriously the only straight guy on set and Ari fell in love with him.

And it's like, imagine if Fiero like had been a guy that maybe Ari could have fallen in love with.

I mean, I absolutely fell in love with Jonathan Bailey.

I think he is so handsome.

I think he is so talented.

And I was absolutely dazzled by his dancing through life sequence.

So when I saw Beauty and the Beast, I tried to, I saw it in theaters and I, the Beauty and the Beast remake, I was live action.

I was so dazzled by it.

And I remember when I got home, I was trying to explain to you guys how insane it was.

And especially during the BR Guest sequence, which was just so big and bright and colorful.

My face, I don't even know what my face looked like, but I know I just looked like an absolute freak, like with my mouth smile,

like eyes wide.

And I had that with Dancing Through Life.

I thought he was incredible.

I loved the library sequence with like the turning.

And yes, I agree that Bach was a distraction and that the song was different.

I'm not as familiar with the original song, so I'm not like as connected to it or like protective over it.

I absolutely love that sequence.

I loved it.

It was just the song that was probably the most changed.

Different.

Yeah, it just had more of like a poppy Sean Mendes feel.

But he was, he was amazing.

He was amazing.

Like, he was such a good actor, and like, he was funny, and he sings amazing, and he dances amazing.

I'm just saying, like, if he, if the actor were like a straight man, like, maybe Ari would have fallen in love with him and like not SpongeBob.

I also felt as though Baker was a picture of him.

But he was hurt, Bach was a literal munchkin, and Ari's, like, falling in love with him.

That's I man.

She said, that's I am

like

I found his character also to be so unnecessary like

well I mean they needed characters also I do think that like later on the betrayal of like Bach and Nessa will be a bit of something Nessa was seriously give I don't name a worse sister in history like Everyone's so mean to Alphabet and all Nessa is like, please stop embarrassing and literally they grow up with their abusive dad only to Alphabet.

Like you never stand up for your sister.

She's just awful.

And she's like so afraid of being like embarrassed to the point where it's like, you're actually embarrassing me now.

Yeah.

I fucking hated her.

Yeah.

Also, like I didn't understand.

So why Alphabet is green, her mom was sleeping with someone who was like drinking green juice.

Jackie?

What?

Do you have to spoil it?

Well, then Zach said her mom was sleeping with the wizard.

Yeah.

But the wizard has no powers.

The wizard is her dad.

That's what Zach was saying.

I was like, oh, okay, I missed that.

And then he was like, you didn't hear in the song?

He's literally like saying, I'm your dad.

I'm like, that green drink.

Okay, but like.

He was sipping on that perp.

He was sipping on that green.

But

that, like, he doesn't have powers.

So, like, the powers just came from the elixir.

The green juice?

The elixir.

I don't know.

I'm like, I'm not.

And then all of a sudden she can read that like ancient.

scribe because she's special.

He's sipping on that green, but it's like special.

It's chemical.

It's chemical.

It's not magical.

That's all I'm I'm saying.

I guess we'll learn more about her chemical makeup.

So you knew, like, when do we find out that the wizard is her dad?

I think in part two.

We find out, like, literally, they need a new trope, like a Darth Vader, I'm your father.

Like, it's always the daddy.

I'm trying to, like, criticize the film.

I really don't have many.

I didn't love Jeff Goldblum.

We're just not Jeff Goldblum girlies.

He wasn't cast for us.

He wasn't.

I thought Michelle Yeo was incredible.

Yeah.

I didn't know if she was good or bad i forgot like the i forgot about that too so that was like an actual plot twist for me yeah i haven't seen the play in years

no i think i only i saw it once maybe twice but i didn't remember like the storyline and i guess like when i would think back on it like yeah it was about a college she's university and i'm trying to think um

what songs remain for part two i have been changed

besides that but then also like when they say them

yeah, I'm not that girl.

She's saying that this time.

Oh, okay.

Um,

I'm glad it was in two parts.

Like, I needed to get up after three.

My butt was really hurting.

And I wouldn't have taken anything out, any piece of dialogue, any song.

Zach was saying he was like shocked there wasn't an original song.

I thought that was an interesting point.

I feel like if there were to be one, it will be in the second part.

Because part two is definitely lacking the more recognizable songs.

All the ones that you guys know from Glee and shit are in part one.

Claudia, I forgot about all the shit with the animals.

Yeah, me too.

It felt a little silly, but oh my God, I could not focus until I figured out who the professor was.

Peter Dinklage.

And I'm literally like, who is that voice?

Who is that voice?

Peter Dinklage.

But I refused to Google it in the theater.

I Googled it when we left.

Peter Dinklage.

I just want to say I behaved so well in the theater.

I did not sing one lick, one bar.

And the guy next to me, it was one of those theaters where you can like order food and cocktails.

It's like one of those fancy ones.

Oh man, I got a bottle of wine and a cocktail.

He was singing.

It definitely wasn't his first time because he was like pointing out to his friend fun things.

I wanted to kill him and then he fell asleep.

So he literally missed half the movie.

I was so happy when he fell asleep.

That's so funny.

I didn't even feel inclined to sing because

they were changing stuff.

I wanted to hear it the way they intended.

And now I can sing along and enjoy it.

I also have to say, you guys know I hate when they like make things long, but they definitely intentionally stretched out Defying Gravity.

Like even I was listening.

I said the same thing.

Like they added more unlimited and more dialogue they kept stopping not mind i did not mind i loved that they did they never wanted it to end and neither did i and i knew that like when she did

it was gonna end right after that and like it was even better than i imagined like the fade to black it was

amazing.

I loved that they made it extra long.

Thank you.

Oh no, I kept being like, come on, hit it.

I want to hit the get to the note.

Like I'm like itching to like hear the next part of the song.

And when she's like in the sky, it's an insane scene.

Her cape is going.

She's like, oh.

And by the way, don't forget who controls the weather.

Right.

Michelle.

But so she does her, oh, I thought then it should have like gone right to black.

They did like

three more cuts.

They showed Ari, then they showed her flying again.

On the soundtrack, there's still like 22 more seconds.

Good.

I didn't want to end.

I think you should, no, they really like made a movie.

They made I could have watched a whole three-hour movie of just that song.

The thing is, like, I will enjoy watching that back and like watching like clips of it and stuff.

But like in that moment, I'm like, can we just get on?

No, oh, I was like, I knew what they were doing, and I said, yes, keep going, John Chu.

And they like kept stopping the song for her and Ari to talk.

Like, also, I loved it, and this is obviously from the original movie, but like, I don't know, I probably missed it or forgot, but like, how Ari, how Glinda like really is responsible for her iconic look, the cape and the hat.

And you don't even realize, like, you should wear the hat to the party tonight.

Like, it's so important.

Germaine, why do they take, why did they change that?

I don't know, but then in the beginning, when, like, they're burning that big scarecrow of the witch and they have the classic cape and the hat that's like this look that Ari kind of made for her and at first not in good faith right but then but then okay that scene like I know it was definitely stretched out but where they're actually you know I really was holding space for the lyrics of defying gravity because I don't think I realized that the song starts out I hope you're happy I hope you're happy now I hope you're happy how you've lost your

brain forever I hope you think you're clever they're like mad at each other for the decisions that they're making but then at the end of the song I hope you're happy now that you're choosing this.

I really hope it brings you bliss.

I really hope you get it and you don't live to regret it.

It's a coming to understand some of these choices.

Yeah, and Alphaba's not mad or judging Ari for not going.

And Ari's like, listen, you got to do what you got to do.

But you know, that life on the run being like this big, controversial figure, it's not for everyone.

And some people aren't strong enough for it.

And Glinda is not.

Yeah.

No, no, no.

But she wants Alphaba to be happy.

To do it.

Like, I hope it all goes well for you.

No, it's, it's so

true.

A lot of like Divine Gravity and Wizard and I, like, they play off of each other.

Like, unlimited.

Yes.

Another great scene was loathing, where they're hating each other as roommates, and they're just, like, talking in the letters.

I love that scene.

I remember from the Broadway play, and I thought it was so well done.

The set design was also incredible.

Like, the room was exactly how I would have pictured it.

Like, really, I have,

I mean, Aria's wardrobe was insane.

Like,

it was...

It was spectacular.

Like, I would love to shake the hand of John M.

Chu.

Like, he thinks he did that.

Who even is he?

I don't even know.

Everyone's talking about him like like he's James Cameron.

This is the first time I've ever heard his name.

It won't be the last.

No, well, Wicked Part 2.

Brilliant.

Plus, he's doing the Britney movie.

Is he?

Oh, brilliant.

Like, I tried, everyone was doubly excited.

When they make a movie about us one day, give it to John.

Yeah.

And when Wicked Part 2 comes out, I'll see it earlier in the day.

And if you want to spend some marketing budget on getting us to dress up.

I am so glad you had the thought to see it this weekend because if I had waited, I didn't even know what I was missing.

Yeah, and now I get to listen to the soundtrack.

I'm having a whole renaissance with the soundtrack and songs you already know, but they're into new style.

So it's just like fun and exciting.

And straight, do you think you're more of an alphaba or Glinda?

Zach was asking me in the car.

It's a really good question.

I think that like we all like to think that we're alphabas, like that we're, you know, morally tough.

And, but, you know, when it comes down to like making really hard decisions, you're going to throw your whole life away for a cause, you know?

Not everyone can do that.

Do you know what I mean?

And that's why, like I said, it's like it's it's easy for us to judge Glinda but a lot of us would be Glinda yeah situation you're gonna throw your whole life away you're gonna become this like

woman on the run who everybody hates this wicked I don't know I I a part of me understands her so I yeah I like to think I'm an alpha but I throw it all away for the cause for for good

I don't know that I would yeah

It's a good question.

He was like, do you think of you and Claudia, like who's Alphaba?

Who's Glinda?

I was like, I think you're like, okay, if we bring it down to the two of us, like, you're probably more Alphaba and I'm more Glinda.

Not aesthetically.

No, no, at first, I was like, I guess I'm Glinda because I'm like all pink and she's Alphaba.

And he was like, Really?

I think you're Alphaba and she's Glinda.

Like, and I was, he made some good points, honestly.

He's like, wait, like, he thinks I'm he thinks you're Glinda, like, and so popular.

And, like,

no, I agree.

And that, and, like, and he's like, I mean, the chart, I don't know if I'm supposed to take that as an insult, Zach, but I agree.

No, like, he insulted kind of both of us in his descriptions.

And he was like to me, like, you're different.

Like you're

not different.

But I do think ideologically I'm an alphaba for sure.

Ideologically, yes.

And so ideologically, I like to think that I would be an alphaba, but I don't know that.

I've never been put in that situation.

Like, do I want to defy gravity or not?

I don't know.

But then also, it's like, what does Glinda do in the second half?

Like, maybe she's like...

working for alphabet behind the scenes, like stopping them on their hunt, like, you know, throwing, casting them in a different direction.

So like maybe she's working for the cause, doing the good work, but like not putting her whole self out there.

So let's, I'm leaving space for Glenda to be a good faith operator.

However, like in No One Mourns the Wicked, she's literally dancing on her grave.

Yeah, and then she's the one who throws the torch.

Yeah.

Yeah, I'm really excited for part two, just to sort of like type some loose ends, and it's going to be a whole ass year.

So I'll see you guys then.

Yeah, but like, I feel like I have enough right now.

Me too.

To get me through.

And I think I got to take Ben to see the play.

That's really sweet.

You do?

Yeah.

yeah.

He loved it.

He's having like a cultural awakening, this whole thing.

He had no idea this world existed, and now he's been thrown in.

And it honestly, like, it makes Wizard of Oz look like a piece of shite.

Like, Jackie, I thought that I was actually thinking on my way to work.

Like, do I want to open this can of worms?

Like, the Wizard of Oz could never.

No, like, I haven't seen it in a while.

I just feel like

it doesn't go that deep.

You know, it's just like.

They weren't trying.

They were just making it.

They didn't know.

Like, they didn't know that someone was going to come in and like upend and tell the story of their their villain.

And make, you know, like, it just makes Wizard of Eyes look a little silly.

Correct.

Correct.

We're off to see the wizard.

And also, it's like, how much time is between all of this?

Like, between

Elpha, Shiz and then like Elphaba dying?

Like, how much.

What are they?

Like, 20, probably.

How old do you think she is when she dies?

I'd say like 20 years.

Because the wizard's still alive.

I guess Glinda just doesn't age.

Correct.

Well, she obviously, I feel like, makes some deal with the wizard because she gets to to be magical.

She gets a wand.

Right.

And she didn't possess that.

But the wizard doesn't have shite.

Melissa, what's her name?

Michelle does.

Miss Marble.

Yeah.

Yeah, that's true.

Not the head mistress being the bearded lady.

Did you put that together?

Yeah, I realized halfway through when they're taking Peter Dinklage out back to shoot him.

I realized in that moment after a couple of scenes that she was in that that's who that was.

I didn't recognize her without her beard.

I recognized her immediately.

I didn't.

But she better be singing in part two, otherwise.

That's weird.

No, she's like one of the greatest singers.

And by the way, people, I saw someone say this on TikTok and I completely agree with it.

I don't feel as though I've had this sort of reaction and like excitement and like

takeaway from a movie musical since The Greatest Showman.

And before that, it was Beauty and the Beast.

Yeah, before that hairspray.

But really the crazy thing about The Greatest Showman was that it was completely original.

Like

this is a, and that's what's exciting about this because it's the first adaptation.

Like Beauty and the Beast is an adaptation of an adaptation.

Like they redo it every couple of years.

Wicked, this is the first one, which is why it was such a big deal.

But Greatest Showman was based on nothing.

No, it's like, I gave you a perfect routine and they executed it perfectly.

Thankfully, they didn't call in Sparky Pilastery, but they had a great script, great talent actresses, budget for days, and they executed.

But you know what these days, like, they don't always execute so we have some of the worst movies are the biggest budget right so like we have to acknowledge it and appreciate it it wasn't a given they could have really like made it shite now i had this conversation with ben do you think that ariana and cynthia got paid the same amount

i think in the spirit of sisterhood yeah I think so much about this.

And also, I had so many thoughts then about like the press thing and how like they marketed it.

And it's like, it's really true that other movies, like when there's a two, like the two main characters characters are usually romantic, so they like kind of try and make you think they're in love.

And like, they took this strategy of like, we're gonna bring the friendship of Glinda and yeah,

Elphabel, like, and, and bring that to press, which seems obvious, but like, actually, isn't it was very much a choice.

And I wonder if they were shitting bricks when Ari and Spongebob came out and everybody hated them.

And they were like, this could seriously ruin the movie.

Like, right.

If the movie had come out a year before, like, if it hadn't died down a little bit in the midst of people might have like not wanted to go because of all of that.

Like, I wonder if people were quaking, like, oh my God, these two are going to ruin the movie.

Okay, so I had seen this, but I didn't want to say it until I just read it about the salaries because I was shocked when I heard this, right?

So the salaries for Wicked have not been confirmed, but reports indicate that Arrivo earned a million dollars for the role of Alphaba, and that makes her far from the best paid member of the cast, with Ariana Grande reportedly making $15 million

and Michelle Yeo and Jeff Goldblum each making $2 million.

I saw that Jeff Goldblum made $2 million.

I saw that Jeff Goldblum made double of what Cynthia did.

And I think that Ari getting more money than Cynthia, while for people is really shocking, when you boil it down to like business, it makes a lot of sense.

Like Ariana is this global, and this movie is global.

Like people are talking about it in every country.

A lot of that has to do with Ariana, the people she brings to this role, the younger people she brings to this role.

I understand why she got paid more.

And I know like I was familiar with Cynthia Rivo, and I think people who like operate within, you know, pop culture are, but she's not globally known.

She is now.

But I think Jeff Goblin getting paid more than her like is actually disgraceful.

He was in it for one scene.

No, and like anybody could have done what he did any like goofy man same with michelle yo like she's great i'm shocked james gordon wasn't the wizard

honestly it's such a good call because he's perfect for it he would have been great he would have been great i love that

um so the disparity the disparity between cynthia and ari like makes sense it makes sense like uh ari brings so much in the movie like just her amount of followers on instagram like yeah you get paid more for that.

It's just like, I wonder if that affects their friendship a little bit.

It's definitely weird.

I wonder also if these deals are the same for part two.

Or do you renegotiate, you know?

I don't think so.

Part two is filmed.

Right.

It was probably one big deal.

They probably got the same, paid the same for each film.

Yeah.

But they probably have like royalties percent.

So I just personally don't feel like Jeff Goldlim.

I would have given his $2 million to Cynthia.

Like, I didn't think that he was really.

Yeah.

He was worth it.

I thought Michelle Yeo was great, but I don't think she deserved to be paid more than Cynthia.

Is she early in it?

No.

And does she sing?

She's like, in The Wizard and I, she's like talk singing in the beginning, but is she a singer?

Like as a person?

I don't know.

I don't think so.

Not that it matters.

She carried a tune.

Yeah, this person responded.

I want to steal this junk pile Jennifer comment.

She wrote, I'm not surprised that Ariana got paid more.

I'm surprised that Cynthia got paid so little for such a big movie.

Yeah, a lot of work, a lot of talent.

But this is something you just take, like you want it.

She's a title character.

This will change her entire career.

Like, I honestly would do it for free.

so they're obviously gonna perform at the oscars right wow i they should perform they'll maybe they'll perform during gravity might be too big and like too risky they could do loathing that would be amazing it would be but it has to be a song that has both of them right or or just cynthia performs well also it depends what songs get nominated sorry by the way also ari could sing I wonder if Ari was disappointed because you were the one who told me that she tried out for both roles.

I wonder if she wanted one more than the other.

She wanted Alphaba more her whole life.

She wanted to be Alphaba.

Because when you think of wicked you think of alphabet like that's the main character even though after watching the film i wouldn't say that but she is the main character um and she has all the good songs and i mean ari's version of the wizard and i like the was at wicked's um 25th anniversary on nbc seriously one of the best covers go listen to it on like she would have slayed the house down boots so i imagine she was disappointed when she didn't get the role that she wanted but like it's really the definition of everything happens for a reason because i don't think she would have been as good as alphabet as she was as glinda honestly yeah no she's always had like alphabet in her heart and when cynthia's singing Defying Gravity, like I'm just like watching Ari like, like she wants to sing so badly.

And then when I didn't realize like Glinda sings on it too and she finally gets to sing Defying Gravity, I'm like so happy for her.

Me too.

But I think it really worked out for the best, honestly.

It did.

I mean, she was so Glinda.

Yeah, I couldn't really, I don't see her as Alphaba.

I think she would, I mean, because she's like literally become Glinda in her life.

She would have become Alphabet.

She'd have the dark hair and she'd be like, you know, wearing all black all the time.

And she would have totally leaned into it she always saw herself as an alphabet

yeah i mean her her covers of wicked anytime she's ever saying it sick sick yeah so definitely get your ass get

it is worth it yeah just like try and find the time that doesn't bring you home at 11 45 your two loaves of sourdough are three hours overproofed and you got to start shaping you know shaping at midnight it's not where you want to be it's never a good time when you're shaping at midnight No, but the loves actually came out Pargy, shockingly.

That's so great.

Three hours over proof, like in sourdough years.

That's a really long time.

Okay, we'll move on whilst trying not to keep talking about wicked, but who knows?

Who knows?

Okay, so our next story.

Even though everything really just like, who gives a fuck?

Our next story.

Oh, this is really sweet news.

Kylie Kelsey is pregnant, expecting baby number four with her husband, Jason Kelsey.

So they announced their pregnancy in a really sweet way.

They took a picture of their three daughters like crying, screaming, laughing, saying, I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feels about getting another sister.

At least Ellie, mom, and dad are on the same page because Ellie was smiling.

So they are having a fourth daughter.

Okay, like literally us.

I'm obsessed.

So happy for them.

Like.

Four daughters.

What's better than that?

Okay, or it's the Judices, right?

There's four daughters there.

Yeah, that is four daughters there.

No, it's your

iconic quadruplet daughters, the Judices, the Oshries, and the Kelseys.

The Kelseys.

Really, really cute.

It's like so crazy that Jason Kelsey has four girls when he's like the man

in the country.

It's really crazy.

And I know that, like, that's how statistics work.

Like, it's 50-50, a boy or a girl, but like, what are the odds?

Yeah, yeah.

It's really cute.

Of course, the lurd like the photo.

Of course, this does like make you wonder, like, what's what's next for Taylor and Travis, right?

Does anybody else feel like,

what's her name?

Kylie?

Sorry.

Oh my God.

Kylie and Taylor like don't like each other.

I don't know.

Not trying to like cause drama women against women.

I just feel like they're so different.

I don't feel like they don't like each other, but like they don't have to be best friends.

And the odds that they're going to be best friends are like so slim and they are so different.

And I think that that's like okay, you know?

Because I can see like Kylie not liking Taylor.

Yeah, but I think Taylor makes it her mission for like people who like to like her.

Or people who she cares to like her like to like her.

So she's probably like baking her cookies, like knocking down her door.

Like, and I'm sure Kylie like hates that even more.

And they just like, are two people speaking different languages.

However, they have a common goal.

And like, Taylor's going to make it work.

Taylor's going to make it work.

Yeah.

So I don't know.

Like now she.

Yeah, something like this, like definitely, you know, when an in-law, when like your brother slash brother-in-law has a baby, like it definitely.

Yeah, Uncle Charles's conversation.

I was uncle of four.

Like if this was like, you know,

getting his

juices flowing, they're flowing even more now.

Oh, my God.

Did I tell you that I watched the first episode?

Are you smarter than a fifth grader?

No.

It was horrible.

Like, and I really wanted to watch it.

It was seriously so bad.

Why?

Are you smarter than a celebrity, whatever it's called.

Also, like, that doesn't make sense, but Jackie, they were moving so slow.

We watched like 20 minutes and there had been one question.

Like, you tune in because you want to see like how the questions are.

Like, oh my God, they were just moving so slow.

And every time there was a question, we had to like phone a celebrity and tell me where you're from.

Like,

it's not Travis's fault.

It's not Nikki Glazer's fault.

It's not any of the celebrity's fault.

Not the lovely man who was a contestant.

Get it's a game show.

Play the game.

How is Travi?

So cute.

Like, I just know he didn't know half the answers, you know?

Yeah.

The questions are hard.

Like, yeah.

I want to hear the questions.

I only got to like maybe seriously one or two questions.

I knew one of them and I didn't know the other.

I want to hear them.

Yeah.

Are you ready for our next story?

Yes.

Paris.

Paris Hilton.

Number three.

Yeah.

Paris Hilton's making headlines claiming that she's never had Botox or fillers, saying she's all natural.

So Paris Hilton is aging backwards on naturale.

The 43-year-old reality star and DJ claimed on the Zach Saying show on Friday that she is working on aging in reverse without the help of any cosmetic features.

She said, I feel really proud that I'm all natural.

I've stayed out of the sun.

I've never done any Botox injectables, no surgery, nothing.

She explained that she has maintained her youthful glow thanks to her mom, Kathy Hilton, skincare advice.

She said, My mom told me when I was eight years old, Paris, stay out of the sun.

And then she taught me this amazing 10-step skincare routine.

So I've literally been doing that since I was eight.

She also noted that she built an incredible in-home spa called the Sliving Spa.

It features have you ever seen it?

It has like a hyperbaric chamber.

It's insane.

It has an LED light therapy, offers hydrofacials and cryotherapy, and hosts a hyperbaric chamber.

So she is like adamant that she has never.

And by the way, she has maintained this for years.

Yes, she has.

And people, I think, are really dubious about this claim.

However, like, I'm really,

I'm looking into it.

Like, I, I believe her.

I think this is really possible.

However, like, there's got to be something.

Like, she's 43 years old and her skin is.

Like, not even Botox.

Like, does her forehead move?

Like, people, you know, gravity is gravity.

We can't defy it.

People, I, a lot of people don't believe this one because it's just like not believable that somebody who looks that great could have had no help.

But there also just are people who are genetically blessed so like you have to keep that in mind too yes she'd stayed out of the sun and she has a hyperbaric chamber and she does hydrofacials but there are some people who even just like regular not celebrities regular people in your life who look amazing for their age like part of it is just some people are genetically blessed and i do think that her sister is uh

also in like they look the same they both look amazing and they've both said they follow their mom's skincare advice like there's a lot of credibility here yeah nikki also looks great like she has the same genetics

that she like has i'm sure nikki like has like everyone else done stuff i don't know if she maintains the same like line as paris but she looks amazing for age too she's a mom of three like yeah so like i think that there is some truth here i don't think she's lying and i also don't think she would lie in such like a big public adamant way and by the way I agree with you.

She has said this many times.

And actually the first time I ever met Paris, like not to make anything about myself, we were just talking and she said this.

She said this to me in private.

She's like, yeah, you know, I've never had anything done.

I'm like, well, like Botox, obviously.

She was like, no, no, no.

Like, not under the knife, not in Jackson.

I've never done anything to my face.

No, it's so crazy.

And when you look at a picture of her, like, from nowadays, like, she looks like someone who has amazing work.

Like, that's just because of what you assume, but, like,

potentially she hasn't.

And I believe her.

You know what?

I'm a believer.

I've not known Tyris to lie.

No,

like, what's the crazier part that she looks this good and has never had anything done?

Or she's a woman who's been in Hollywood her entire life and has not fallen prey to the plastic surgery.

Yeah.

And the the thing is, she doesn't, she doesn't look 17.

She looks 35.

No, her skin is amazing though.

Yeah.

And by the way, skin,

for the most part, is genetic.

Yeah.

And Kathy can do all your routines.

Kathy has amazing skin.

I love Kathy.

I know.

I'm excited for Beverly Hills this week.

Me too.

Oh, is that tomorrow?

All of our home videos from growing up were on VHSs and they were like collecting dust in our basement.

And actually, I didn't know, but the longer you leave VHS tapes or whatever types of old media in an attic or a basement, they actually can deteriorate over time, especially with the elements.

The journey and die.

Our next story, a little more housewives news.

Teddy Mellencamp has taken accountability and apologized for wrongdoing after her

affair with Horse Trainer.

Does she have a coach?

A coach?

An accountability.

Does she have accountability?

This is what she posted on Instagram.

She said, the only person who can change your life is you.

We have two options.

Pretend to be a victim or stand up and fight for yourself.

We all deserve peace and happiness.

It's giving alphabet.

I have cried and mourned.

I have taken accountability and apologized for things I have done wrong.

Now I have given myself permission to grow and thrive i've decided to not pander to the media and tell my side because in the big scheme of things clickbait means nothing and of course three sides to every story how can i stand up and show up for the people that do matter does

this is called being an adult Okay, like I actually, I'm sorry, I stopped caring like four sentences ago and I already like barely cared about the situation like in the beginning.

What I did want to talk about when it comes to Bravo is did you think that Bravo had like another convention in Miami this weekend?

Yeah, fan fest.

That was like fan, it was called called Bravo Fan Fest, which had like a, I saw like a bunch of good panels, like, but I don't know why there was like no hype for it, like BravoCon.

Like, what was this event?

I don't know.

And why wasn't it as like hyped up?

It looked super well done.

Like it looked really beautiful.

They had like stars, galore.

Yeah.

I saw some, it did seem like BravoCon elk, but I couldn't get my head around what it was.

Also, I heard Kyle Cook said something about Ben and

I heard that the whole room was booing him.

So like that brings me joy.

I don't know if it made any cut.

I think it's one of those Watch Rappins Live.

Oh my God, I wonder what he said.

Do you know?

I don't know because the boots on the ground who told me like seriously is like the worst historian on the planet.

I didn't know who it was.

But I just know that the crowd booed Kyle.

I'm like, that brought me joy.

I was supposed to be in the video.

I was invited to something.

You should have went.

It didn't work out.

They should have had you moderate a panel.

I had to see Wicket at midnight.

I got something.

I forget what it was.

I forget why it didn't work out, but it didn't work out.

So I did know there was something Bravo headed to Miami.

Very cool, very cool.

And I saw Jesse Solomon was there, and I just think it's really important that everybody knows that if you look at the pictures of Jesse Solomon on the red carpet wearing like a knitted neutral type of shirt, that is the shirt.

He is wearing Abercrombie.

That's a shirt both Ben and Jason Tardick wore in St.

Bart's in different colors.

It's from Abercrombie.

So add him to the club.

Yes.

Of the Crombie.

Reality stars love Abercrombie.

Crombie boys.

Don't sleep on the men's Crombie.

It's good.

Or the women's.

I like that shirt.

Jesse looked great in it.

He should wear this shirt to the party tonight.

I can't.

I'm already wearing this hat.

Oh.

Yeah.

Just back to Teddy Mellencamp, like releasing a statement saying you're not going to be releasing a statement, like just release the statement.

No.

And it's giving guilty.

No, you guys, like, more of this if you want to, like, get out of whatever, of talking about, like, whatever, because it's, like, the more, like, nonsense you say like this, like, the more we just want to move on and we don't want to hear about it.

Like, cause these things are.

I officially, I don't care.

Like, I don't want to hear you say it.

Like, it's so smart.

I can't tell tell you enough

she basically she might as well have said she was just having a human moment you know yeah no like word salad it up keep talking about it without actually saying anything and we will move on and it was like we were barely like barely caring in the beginning and now i really really don't care so that's a strategy do you see that she does her podcast a lot with erica do you see those clips I've seen it, yes.

Where's Tamra?

Or is that just like they do both?

I don't know.

I'm not even going to pretend to like I to I'm not even going to pretend like I understand two T's in a pod, honestly.

Okay, because you would, yeah.

I just, it's always, I always see Teddy and Erica, and I'm like, where are there's a T and an E.

I've seen, by the way, I'm not doubting you.

I've seen them once.

No, I've seen them like a couple times.

Like, maybe it's all from the same episode, but I've seen it over time.

You know what I mean?

I think that, like, Erica, you know, when she does a press tour, she goes on the T's.

Okay, she brings the E to the T.

Yeah.

Okay.

Are you ready for our fifth and final story?

A little more housewives news.

Oh, wow.

It falls into your favorite category of Luanne Deleseps shooting her shot with famous actors.

Oh, who this time?

Luanne Deleseps recalls heavily making out with Hugh Grant at a restaurant in the Hamptons.

Oh my God, I love that.

Luanne once had a wild night with Hugh Grant.

The Bravo star recounted a heated moment she shared with the actor in an interview with 2Fab during her Mary F.

Kill cabaret tour.

She said she decided to dine at a restaurant in the Hamptons called Pierre's after her friend told her that Hugh Grant was there.

So she called the restaurant and said, get the table right next to Hugh Graham.

She said, I had my family over.

My brother was visiting me and I said, let's go.

At the eatery, she set up what she called a flirting 101 ploy that involved her sitting behind Grant and casually bumping into him while pushing out her chair.

After which we could all learn a thing or two from Luann Dilla.

Take notes, ladies.

After which she apologized to him.

She said, I'm so sorry.

Can I buy you a shot?

I feel terrible.

A shot?

A shot.

And he goes, okay, but I'll come have a shot with you if you do one with me.

Okay, love that he was receptive because I'm sure like things like this happen to him a lot.

And obviously he was dazzled by the countess.

And I progressed from there and the two ended up taking shots and making out heavily at the table.

She said her brother was like, I can't believe you're making out with Hugh Grant.

And she was like, neither can I.

Okay, it's weird that her brother was there, but I'm like choosing to ignore that part of the story.

I'm obsessed.

I believe it.

I actually, we saw Hugh Grant in the Hamptons.

Like he obviously spends time there.

I believe every lick of this story.

Luanne, especially if you don't know her.

Yes, I literally saw him walk in to St.

Ambrose.

Oh, cool.

I, if you don't know like the lore of this person as like a famous housewife, like slash train wreck, and you just see her in the Hampton, she's really like a very beautiful, very worldly, confident, confident, older woman, like somebody who Hugh Grant would go on a date with.

And I love that Hugh Grant got got by the countess.

I love that he was attracted to her.

I love that he like respects a woman his own age.

Like this makes me, this is like 11 points in Hugh Grant's column.

And I love that Luann held on to this story for a little bit before she shared it with us.

And I just, she's like, she's literally a role model.

Yeah.

No, she really is.

Like, she's not the countess for no reason.

You don't become the countess just like by accident.

It's true.

We forget, like, because now it's like a joke.

But like, at one point in time, this woman was a part of British aristocracy.

Like, she was married to an actual nobleman.

She lived in like a sixth floor townhouse on the Upper East Side, and she would not let Bethany Frankls driver refer to her by her first name.

Like

this woman is otherworldly.

And obviously, she's now like, you know, a reality star and all the things that come with it.

But you don't lose that gina sécois.

No, you don't lose that riz.

You don't lose that riz.

She's the Rizzler.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So I love that.

I had one more thought about wicked, though.

Like,

like, I forget what just made me think of something from Wicked.

I don't know if I'm going to remember, but that's what I wanted to say next.

The girl who played opposite Bowen Yang, like the two followers of Glinda, she was great too.

Bowen Yang was another one who every time I saw him, I remembered I was in the movie theater.

Yeah, he distracted you.

Yeah, just like

too much of like a person outside.

And then I guess the Ethan Slater, because I'm just looking at him like, what in the what?

It's also like, I don't know if I put together that, like, his character, like, he was booked in a role that, like, likes Ari, you know?

No, no, no.

he's romantic.

I would do anything for you, Glinda.

He wasn't acting.

He wasn't.

Every time they touched, I'm like, yeah.

It's true.

The baby.

Agreed.

It was too real.

What about the baby?

Oh, and by the way, I know it's probably like part of the lore, but everyone in the opening scene and every like member of Oz, the munchkins, like having the same hair as him.

Oh, my God.

I thought everyone was him.

Yeah.

So is that Bach?

And I guess it is part of the lore because like it's the scarecrow hair.

Right, right, right.

Oh my gosh.

It was crazy.

I didn't realize Bach was like such a big character.

Me.

I had forgotten who he was, even though he is a big part of Dancing Through Life.

I'm wearing the hat to the party tonight.

I love Fiero.

Like, he was so handsome.

He was so good.

Yeah.

I was like longing for him the whole time.

And then also it's like Elva was kind of touching her friend's man's face.

I didn't like that.

So that is something that doesn't get spoken about enough because before they can even act on those feelings, like the whole Oz thing happens and like we forget about small things like relationships but she was betraying her friend yeah she was going after her friend's man when she knew how much that all started like after glenda shared like she's gonna marry him and then like you're in the woods touching his face you didn't need to do that And then she's like letting her friend spiral.

Like things haven't been the same since that day with the professor.

And like you're just sitting there letting her drive herself crazy when you have information.

It's literally that scene.

It's Miranda when she knew why Big didn't show up at the altar and she lets Carrie think for months that it was her fault in Sex and the City of Mario.

But it's not even, but that, that would be like, because Big was in love with Miranda.

No, I know, but it's like you're sitting on information.

You're letting your friend literally drive.

And it's like crazy.

Linda's the one who's the bad friend because she didn't get on the broom, but it's like you're stealing her man.

You're in the midst of a man theft.

Right.

Why don't you get on that broom and go get your man?

Yeah.

So that was not

the nicest, but you know.

No, it wasn't.

Love conquers all, I guess.

I don't know.

They could have just like had a mutual love of animals and been friends and let it be that.

I wasn't sure.

I didn't remember like who Fiero ended up with.

I'm like, is this Alphabet's love of interest or Glinda's?

And when it was Glinda's, I'm like, you know what?

Good.

Like, it's fine.

Yeah.

Like, Alphabet has too much going on in her life for like a romantic partner.

So I think that he goes Alphaba and then he like betrays Alphabet.

And that's really like when the villain...

You know, that's a major part of her villain origin story is the heartbreak from Fiero and him choosing Glinda.

But like, I'm just, that's going on vibes.

I don't remember for a a fact.

I'm gonna see the play.

Maybe I'll see it over Thanksgiving weekend.

You should.

Spoilers for part two.

You're like munchkin, so small-minded.

No.

When she ran into that field, it was being Belle.

When she ran into, that was like one of the, like, if my, if I was on a heart rate monitor, like, that was one of my peaks where I was just like overcome with joy and glee.

And she was just like, she's such a sweetie.

Elva was such a sweetie.

People don't know that about her.

It was giving that scene when Belle runs into the lavender fields and she says,

if you're not singing to an open field in a movie musical, what are you doing?

And really, Julie Andrews did it best and she did it first.

She did it first.

What line does she sing, Belle, when she's like, I want so much more.

I want adventure in the great

somewhere.

I want it more than I can tell.

Yes.

And we're looking at the great white somewhere.

Like, it's literally right.

My only note, actually, is when she's on that cliff, like what she's looking out at, like, wasn't Pargy.

In Beauty and the Beast, it was so gorgeous.

She's looking over the lavender fields of Provence.

And, of course, in Sound of Music, she's looking over these gorgeous

hills, rolling hills.

And I don't know, she was kind of looking out over the desert, Alpha, but it was like dark.

It was like dusty.

Yeah, well, that's like, it was a magical land.

So it was a little bit like, you know, colorful AI.

Like not beautiful nature, like not the architect.

It was more like the wizard.

But that's the land that they live in.

It's fairyland.

So, yeah.

Just a note.
