Good morning, Millennials.
Welcome back to the toast and happy Tuesday.
That feels like a Friday, honestly, because we're fucking celebrating, bitch.
Like, we have so much going on today.
What is the cause to celebrate today?
Lindsay Hubbard on the toast, Hubhouse, X Toast, X.
Yeah.
Hubhouse, X Toast, House.
Yes, Secrets Out.
Lindsay Hubbard is preparing the toast.
Our inaugural guest, now that we're bringing back guests.
We took a major break from having guests on the show.
Like, I think part of it was strategic.
It's really nice to have our, like from a business perspective, have people tune in every single day for us, not like certain episodes do way better because of a guest.
Like I think we really nailed it.
And I also think you get to a point where it's like you have guests on because you feel like you have to, and then you're talking to people like you, you really aren't interested in.
And it doesn't make for interesting conversation.
I also feel like we stopped having guests in tandem with COVID because it was like everyone was doing Zoom interviews.
And it's like, okay, technically like any celebrity, they're not working right now.
They can sit down for a Zoom interview.
So it's like, when you can have anyone, do you want anyone and then everyone was doing that and the quality of zoom interviews was just like not you couldn't get to the heart of the matter so we just were like you know what it's not the time but now it feels like the time especially since we have our remote set up like really down pat and i think we were a little nervous about having like one of the hosts come in remotely but like especially when it's the host who like can't get a word in in person
so we are so excited to be back and better than ever we recorded another interview yesterday so claudia really held space for me i did i did and we have Lindsay Hubbard on the show today.
If you're looking for it, it will be at the end of this episode.
Video and audio.
It'll be one big file.
So we're going to do the fast five, of course.
The files.
Yeah, not the files.
We're going to do a little pre-fast five banner, you know, the usual stuff.
And then at the end of the episode, we've got a nice chunky little interview with Lindsay Hubbard, who was talking all about, she literally just got out of the house.
Labor Day is when they stop filming.
So she's fresh off of her house.
She's fresh off the heels of filming that season.
She's pregnant.
She obviously says a lot going on.
We need to catch up with her from last season.
So it was really good.
One thing about us, like we don't forget our grudges.
And I feel like we had so many lingering questions and frustrations from last season.
And Lindsay really helped to ameliorate them.
So I feel ameliorated.
I don't know about you.
You know the word ameliorate like means a lot to me, right?
Yes, of course.
It's like it is the one SAT word that stuck with me.
Like during all those like flashcard programs, like I learned one word.
Ameliorate.
Yeah.
And actually,
should I say, or everybody knows why I like the word ameliorate.
Maybe you should say it.
We definitely have some new toasters, especially if they're tuning in for Lindsay today.
Okay, so when I was like in the 11th grade taking the SATs, I downloaded this app.
It was like SAT word of the day, and it would really help you learn words.
And it would give you little mnemonic devices.
And the only one that I ended up remembering was Ameliorate, because seriously, the mnemonic device they gave was so unbelievably offensive.
They were like, Ameliorate, you know, Amelia,
ameliorate means to improve.
So
they gave a mnemonic device about this woman named Amelia who ate a lot and she needed to lose weight to ameliorate her health.
Like it was so fucking fabhobic.
It fucking honestly, they should make all of them really offensive, like put slurs in there.
Do you know what?
I remember.
Effective.
The amelioration was effective.
And also, if you are listening for a Lindsay today and this is your first time stumbling onto the toast, like, hey, how you dern?
I'm Jax.
That's Claude.
We are sisters, 100%
sisters.
We host a Toast, it's a Daily podcast.
We have a lot of fun.
We are incredibly thirsty.
Like, seriously, couldn't be more excited to have you here.
Oh, of course.
But also, just a little little intro.
I feel like, do you ever see people on Instagram?
They have a pinned video at the top of their feed and it's like an intro video to their Instagram.
And I'm like, thank you so much.
I have a complicated relationship with pinned content, honestly.
I have a, okay, agreed.
I don't like pinned content unless it is a trailer for your page and you are introducing me to you, how old you are, what you do for a living, how many kids you have, what I can expect to see on your channel.
I'm there.
It's like,
it's so great.
I don't have to do like a year's worth of digging.
I only think it's really necessary when someone's going crazy viral, like from a reality show.
Like, oh, and you know what, speaking of, you know who I unfollowed this morning?
Like, my time is up.
Who?
Freddie from Love is Blind UK.
Like, wow.
Like, that was two minutes.
No, like, I'm still following people from The Bachelor from 10 years ago.
I actually do, but they are premium content creators and they're girls.
Like, no, it's hard for me to unfollow a straight man.
I went to unfollow a straight man, like, from The Bachelor a million years ago yesterday, and I just like couldn't bring myself to do it.
Tell us who.
Tell us who.
Well, I
feel awkward because I was unfollowed.
No, I feel awkward that I was even going to unfollow.
There's nothing wrong with this person.
I'm just like,
your content no longer served you.
No, but it's like nice content.
It's just like he's off living a normal life.
Like he's graduated from this program.
You have to say who it is.
It was, it was Ben Zorn.
Who?
Ben Z.
Remember Ben Z?
You really need to come through your following and like do a major.
That's really crazy.
Oh, yeah.
No, I'm not like you.
Like once you're followed, like you're in.
You're in the book of following, like, unless you offend me.
Oh, no, I'm really like loosey-goosey with it.
People come into my life for a reason or a season.
It's not, it's not that deep.
I think he has a wife.
I think he has two kids.
And I was just like, I can't do it.
So you still follow Ben Z.
That's so crazy.
We're very different in that way.
Beyond, like, when I'm done with someone, like their time is up in my book.
And if you read it through the cracks after all these years, like it probably was a mistake.
But it's like when I am starting a new reality show, I don't follow a lot of people because it is a big commitment for me.
But maybe if I looked at it like you, where it's like, oh, I could follow them until I'm no longer interested in this person, but I don't know.
I don't see it that way.
For me, like, it's a binding contract.
Yeah.
Well,
not for me.
So, Freddie, Rip, I'll let you know if he's doing anything that you should know about.
I still don't know.
So, Freddy, speaking of men,
you know, today was a big day for one Romeo Jr.
He was headed to the vet for his neutering.
Very tough for me and Ben, especially Ben.
He's grown extremely attached to Romeo's nuts.
And of course, he woke up this morning with diarrhea and couldn't get neutered.
So the nuts live to see another day.
Romeo's protecting himself.
His body is protecting himself against big pet.
His body like went into like shock and did what it needed to do to hang on.
Well, speaking of the boys, Bruno, it's the big day.
He's getting groomed.
Transition video coming.
No, I'm going to weigh him in maybe tomorrow.
I'm really excited.
He's been on his grind, on his fitness grind, so I'm very excited about that.
We've got a booked and busy day here at my house.
It already started.
Guess what I did this morning?
Something I said I was going to do.
Work out?
Well, no, because I do that.
Something that I hadn't done that I said I was going to do, and I did it.
I met with a tailor this morning.
She went to the tailor.
The tailor came here because the toasters came through and sent me some wrecks for an at-home tailor.
That's so good.
It's so important to have your clothes tailored to all of your needs.
No, and it made me start looking at my entire closet.
Like one thing that I don't even notice because I couldn't deal with it if I did notice are the lengths of my sleeves.
Okay, so that's what I was saying.
I came out in a pair of pants for the tailor to tailor and I put on a shirt with it so that she could see like how I would style it.
And she immediately was like, so we're doing the sleeves?
I was like, oh no, I didn't even think of that.
And that's what I was saying last week about like learning to sew because, yeah, we think about like big things, like wedding dresses need to tailor, but everybody's bodies are so different.
And I actually was, this was, I wasn't watching the news.
The news was on in my presence and I actually heard that jobs where you have like those traditional skills like blacksmith, welding, seamstressing are so like not popular that they're really high in demand and you're making more money like as a mechanic than you are as like a marketer.
And these skills are so valuable and we're underappreciated.
We need to learn how to sew.
I knew I said I was going to do it and I didn't even think about it after the toast.
I'm going to learn to sew.
But then, so she was like, do you want me to do the sleeves?
And I was like, no offense.
This sweater is like from Abercrombie.
Like it doesn't deserve the tailoring and will cost more than the sweater itself.
So I also feel like fast fashion has kind of put some of that on the back burner because it's like, why would I spend more to fix the garment than I spent to pay for it?
Thousand percent.
And also seamstressing is expensive in general.
Like, yeah.
No, only my finest wears that could really benefit from a facelift it's so true but now like i i'm about to start getting my sweatpants tailored like watch out world watch out well once i learn how to sew i'm about to start sewing my own sweatpants i've got i've got a tailor so it's over for you bitches it's kind of been over
yeah sorry s-r-y did you watch some tv last night i watched secret lives of mormon wives did you watch any no i watched just first niners oh I had a thought.
I'm like, I think I'm on episode five.
It's a really wild ride.
And what's hard for me with a new reality show is like, I don't have my people yet.
So I don't know where I stand in certain arguments because I don't know what these people are about.
Like Whitney was wrong here, but is she right mostly?
Same for Demi, who everything's falling into place.
Like ever since you told me about Whitney's RSV video, like that has changed everything.
So everything
has changed.
Whitney being the girl in that viral video with her baby in the Nikku for me, she will always be wrong in every argument heretofore.
And from now on, like I, she obviously is a person with incredibly bad judgment, bad taste.
Like, I will never, ever ride for her.
And you know who I will ride for?
Who?
Jesse, who's definitely not like a main character.
She's not one of the OG for it.
I'm sure you don't even know who she is.
No, I do.
I know, by the way, proud to say I could tell them all apart now.
And I could tell you that.
Okay, that's good.
Well, Jesse, somebody sent me one of her reels.
She was wearing like pretty recent toast merch, like obsessed.
I sent it to you.
Queenie Behavior.
That was before I could tell them apart.
So it like, okay, I couldn't.
Queenie behavior.
Oh, that's so great to know queeny behavior.
And then also what Whitney brought up the RSV video on the show, Claudia.
Oh my God, what is she doing?
She brought up the RSV video because everyone's saying it's like Whitney versus Taylor.
And they're all saying like Whitney is just so jealous of Taylor because she's just like more followers, more clout.
Like she's, she's that girl.
And like Whitney, try as she may, she's always like number two.
Um, and Whitney was like, I'm only jealous of the fact that like people forgave you for like the swinging scandal much quicker than they have forgiven me for the RSV video.
They're two totally different things.
One is forgivable and one is not.
One is forgivable and one is like like your problem.
Like, okay, swinging, it's a little, you know.
It's a personal choice.
It's a little wild, but like at least it's like salacious in a good way.
Right.
At least you're like doing something crazy with your husband.
And like, no, it's like, it's...
That's like classic, you know, fodder.
It's consensual.
There's nothing wrong with it.
It's just different strokes.
I would never do it, but there's literally nothing wrong with it.
Dancing through RSV with the baby in the hospital right beside you, if you had been in another room even, like it would have been, but to put the baby on, like, it's because you, like the girl said, were doing it for like sympathy likes and clout and to like grow your follower that people would like think of you as this victim and like you just like victim too close to the sun.
And it's so, so crazy.
But then I was watching more of Whitney's content.
She's a really good content creator.
She goes viral a lot.
He's a fan.
She's a really good dancer.
Like her and her husband do those dances and like she crushes it.
That's hilarious.
so barring rsv video like i could see how she like got a lot of followers i do right right right right um i was not able to watch because the my two teams were playing each other's the niners versus jets so there's not much to chat about
jets versus sharks not much to chat about obviously the niners won but aaron rodgers did play the whole game
He scored 19 points, which is like a lot, but
yeah, but the Niners are just better.
So I was happy for everyone.
But I was then like just watching football stuff.
And have you heard about the Guardian Caps?
I have not heard about the Guardian caps.
So they're a new thing being offered to players, totally optional, to just put over your helmet.
It kind of is like the material, I feel, like of a do-rag, but it has like elastic.
So it just like snaps onto the cap and it has these pads in it.
And it's meant to absorb a lot of like the contact when your head hits the ground.
It's, of course, you know, supposed to make playing safer and
counteract CT, obviously.
Two players have worn it, literally two, and each of them are like making so much news.
And I saw this video of like JJ Watt, and I'm never one to like, you know, say anything negative about J.J.
Watt because he's a king, but like it was really lame.
He was, it was giving like paid endorser of the NFL.
Because I guess if they admit that this is safer, then it's an admission of guilt that in the past they haven't been protecting the players from CTE, which we all know to be true, right?
Yes.
And JJ Watt is an official NFL correspondent, so he obviously has to be careful.
So they made a TikTok.
He's on CBS or whatever.
And CBS was like, what do you think about this first player?
I don't know what team he was on.
I think it was the Green Bay Packers.
Like, he's the first one being spotted wearing one.
Like, what do you think?
And JJ Watt was like, well, you know,
if it makes him feel safer, that's great.
And I mean, I wouldn't wear it.
First of all, if it makes you feel safer, no, it's facts.
Like, it makes it safer.
Does it?
Does it?
I don't see how like a little cushion's going to be more protective than the helmet.
You have to see it.
It has, it looks like,
I can't explain it, kind of like a turtle.
Turtle.
Just, if you look up a picture, you'll see.
I could see it helping.
And by the way, like, why not?
Literally, why not?
If you're you're a player, why wouldn't you?
Well, because they're making it like a losery badge.
That's why.
Yeah, and other guys are like, listen, we're out here.
Like, we're risking CTE.
I heard Jason Kelsey talk about it once where he was like, even if you told me going into it, like, CTE is a risk, but like, you get to play the game of a lifetime, make more money, like, blah, blah, blah.
Like, I would, I would still sign up.
I think a lot of players would still sign up, but the issue is like the NFL then has this liability if they do admit that it is a risk.
The issue is that also a lot of the players who risk the most
concussions, they're not Jason Kelsey.
You know, they don't get hundred million dollar contracts.
They're like, you know, they make a good living and they're all famous.
Like they, you know, the
jobs where you like go head-on, you're not the star, you're not the quarterback, you're not making the touchdowns.
So you're not as famous as Jason Kelsey.
So yeah, Jason Kelsey, if I knew, of course.
But I do think at this point, like all football players know that CTE is a risk.
Yes.
And they sign up taking that risk on because they love the game, it pays well, and this is their chosen career.
I don't think
if the NFL admitted it, it wouldn't even, I don't think it would change participation levels at all.
No, it just puts liability on them.
And Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly, talks about this too, about like the grass that they play on being like fake turf.
If they make it real grass, it also helps absorb so much impact if your head hits the ground because it's like a little bouncy, not just like ground and then a little fake turf.
And so there are things that can be done, like the guardian caps, like changing the grass, that really aren't like a big deal at all.
And they refuse to do it because it will then sort of admit all this time that there was stuff that they could be doing and they weren't doing it but like it's never too late i think it's it's time yeah just admit it like we'll just admit it like there was a movie about it we know like sit as much as you possibly can and play ball play ball and let every player like know the risk know what they're getting into which i do feel like at this point they do but
i mean because if we're talking about it we just we just arrived on the scene a year right a month ago a mere moment
so yeah I do feel like the jig is up.
The jig is up.
Like secrets out.
We all have our demons, you know, we all have skeletons in our closet.
NFL, this is yours.
You'll be fine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So you were telling me that we have like five stories, but each story has a subset, of course.
Each story has layers.
I love that.
There's kind of like, and it's not surprising because everyone is back, right?
Summer's over.
There have been so much.
So there has been so much going on and there have been so many stories and it's been just such a delight to chat about.
yeah for sure so would you like to get into this delightful chat yeah i mean you have anything else you want to say i mean i could continue to recap secret lives of mormon wives but without you having watched i know i know i'll watch more tonight yeah so that's just like where i'm at but i just want to let everyone know where i've landed right now is like team to me that's where i believe i am oh okay also um you were mentioning yesterday that There was a lot of conversation around the perfect couple and the title sequence of them dancing and how nobody wants to do it.
And after you said that, my phone must have heard you because I got served with so many interviews from Liev Schreiber, Nicole Kidman, and Bono's daughter about the WhatsApp group and how nobody wanted to do it.
And apparently the only one who was like so down was Liev Schreiber, further proving like he's a king.
Yeah.
And then they left him out of the hug.
Like something weird.
And he did an interview and they were like, were he, the person was like, were you a part of this famous WhatsApp chat where everybody was calling their managers about doing the musical?
And he's like, no, no, no, I was so down and then they cut me out of the whole thing.
And it's true.
He's like, literally not even in it.
I got the vibe when everyone was doing interviews like they kind of hated this project Nicole Kidman on the inter on the red carpet when she was asked about this too she just felt um
not rude but like short like she didn't want to be here I feel like I don't know I get like a bad vibe from
maybe they saw the the final project and they were like oh this is bad like we should kind of like minimize our impact to it yeah yeah that I could understand that And I have no proof.
This is just purely vibes.
Like, did anybody else watch, you know, some of them were on Good Morning America, then there was a big red carpet for the premiere.
And I'm just seeing a lot of content.
And I'm like, does everyone hate each other?
Like, that's the vibe.
Or the show, and they're feeling embarrassed.
Yeah, yeah, I mean, you should.
It's a piece of shit.
Yeah, and it's not any one person's fault.
Like, it was a collective failure.
Excluding Megan Fahey and Leo Schreiber.
For sure.
But, like, it was a failure in writing.
It was a failure in direction.
It was a failure in acting.
It was a failure in accent concealment.
It was a, that's what they call dialect.
It was also a failure in location scouting.
Oh, somebody said, and I thought that they're right, the house looks familiar.
They think it's in The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Whose house?
And you know what?
I don't know.
Like, maybe there's a party at some fancy person's house.
Oh, maybe
where does the Summer I Turned Pretty film?
That's a good question.
Probably the same place.
Maybe.
Because they probably
thought that they were a good like filming licensing over there and they encourage TV to come and film.
Production.
The summer
I turned pretty
filming location.
Thank you.
Nope.
Carolina Beach in Wilmington.
Well, that's where people said if we buy a beach house, we need to buy one.
Okay, yeah.
That's the craft vibe.
Thank you.
Okay, so now without further ado,
here are the fast five stories that you need to know.
And the fast five stories that you need to know are brought to you by skims.
How fabulous is that?
We are just girlies that need to wear wear bras.
We're not one of these, you know, very lucky, chosen few who can leave the house without a bra or wear a shirt without a bra.
No, we need bras.
We need heavy duty.
We're calling in the big guns.
We're calling in Miss Kim Kardashian.
We're calling in Skims.
We have big boobs.
We need support.
And we get all of our bras from Skims.
They are super comfortable, flattering, and they've helped solve so many of my back problems.
That's true.
I was in physical therapy, and then it turns out I just need a new bra.
And I got one from Skims, and it seriously changed my life.
But also, I'm not one of those people who can lay around the house without a bra.
I need a relaxation bra.
That's what Ben calls them.
And they have these amazing bras from Skims that give you like a really good amount of support, but they don't feel like a real bra.
There's no underwire or anything.
And like seriously, they're so stretchy.
It's my favorite thing ever.
So the Fits Everybody t-shirt bra is a great everyday bra from Skims.
It's the best bra that I've ever owned.
My boobs look amazing.
They keep the natural shape and it's so nice to have a bra that doesn't have padding on padding.
We've worn it, you know, on crazy days, on slow days, and somehow you don't want to rip it off when you get home.
And that really is proof of how good it is.
You can shop skims.
I think another thing that people really love about skims is how many sizes they have.
So they are available in 62 sizes.
That's 30A up to 46H.
So if you haven't yet, shop skims bras at skims.com and be sure to let them know that we sent you.
After you place your order, select podcast in the survey and select our show in the drop-down menu that follows.
Again, that sizes 30A to 46H.
You'll be able to find something that works for you.

Kate Middleton reveals she has finished chemo, says the last nine months have been incredibly tough.
So Kate Middleton has finished her chemotherapy treatment, and she is sharing personal details about her journey since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
So yesterday, right after the toast, of course,
of course, like literally mere moments.
She released an emotional video message filmed near her family's home in Norfolk last month.
It features her husband and her three children.
So it's notable for a number of reasons.
She says, one, as the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to finally have completed my chemotherapy treatment.
The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family.
Life, as you know, can change in an instant, and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.
The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.
With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.
So, in the video, she shares
vignettes of her husband and her children, very, very cute and homey and affectionate, which we don't typically get from her in Wills.
Yes, there was like kissing, there was like hand-holding, there was touchy.
Yeah, which like for normal people is not a big deal at all, but like this might have well has been rated R.
Yeah, what is R for them, but I guess it's like that's it's private moments and like this is how they are, you know, not in front of the camera, but by the cameras.
And it was really, I feel like they really fed the people who have been looking for them.
There was just like a lot to rejoice about.
Of course, like her being cancer-free, but also just seeing them all together.
Like, we have missed them.
We're trying to be patient over here.
Of course, of course.
We have.
And it was, you know, for me, fabulous to see her hair looked really fat, really intact, really strong, really good.
Yeah, she looks, you know, she looks really well and happy.
And I she looks strong.
I hope it's all on the up from here for her.
Yeah, it was a really beautiful video giving Twilight, you know, energy in the woods and the kids and,
you know, how much she loves amateur photo photography.
It was good.
Obviously, I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, of course, because what, you know, what are they saying about this?
And nothing, nothing.
What did we learn, though?
Like,
to shut our mouths.
I just feel like they never give us much.
And the fact that they're giving us so much, like, are they trying to distract us from something?
Because I totally forgot.
Charles is also dealing with like a major health issue.
Yeah, but it wasn't as major as this for some reason.
For some reason.
I don't know.
Like, I think just the type of cancer is
more manageable.
And then he has caught it like incredibly early.
Than what she was going through and an easier perhaps course of treatment.
But I don't think this is a distraction from anything.
I think it's just been like nine months of like people have been waiting and they appreciate everyone's patience because I do think like once they made the announcement, everyone really like backed off.
Fucked off.
That tight.
And I had to be waiting for this.
So I just feel like they want, they have millions, billions of fans across the world.
Like they just wanted to give them something.
No, and they gave us a lot.
The kids, that Charlotte is just.
And also, like, that's what the modern day requires, right?
Like, every other celebrity couple
gives us like videos and all these behind-the-scenes personal moments.
Like.
The royal family can only give us so much, but I do think they want to play that game a little bit.
It's kind of akin to when we saw in the crown how Prince Philip like brought in the documentarians.
Like, this is a version of it.
Like, oh, we're making content today.
Yeah, and, you know, I felt like it was really genuine, especially, like, the romantic moments between between them.
And there have long been rumors that their marriage like hit the rocks recently and he was, you know, having some sort of whatever.
But I felt like it was really genuine.
And even if they had had some sort of bump in their marriage, which is really normal and I think not a big deal, something like this really puts you back on track.
It makes you so appreciate this person like being faced to face with this horrible disease and the potential of death.
Like it really puts everything into perspective.
And I feel like they're actually in a really good place.
And that's just all the vibes that I got from the video.
It just, it felt really genuine.
These aren't actors.
Like, they're not professional actors.
Right.
And if she, like, if they weren't feeling like lovey-dovey, they could have so gotten away with like not giving us affection.
And we'd just be like, oh, that's Will and Kate and they're respecting protocol.
Of course.
And it's like more about the kids.
Right.
You don't need to be making out in front of all the children.
Right.
So it was nice.
I feel happy for them and I'm going to continue leaving her alone.
And then like part two of Royal News is that Netflix has dropped their first look at Prince Harry's polo docuseries, including a title and release month.
What do you mean?
A journey, a documentary about his journey with Polo or just like the sport?
I think he is hosting a documentary about the sport, and it's called Polo in caps, and it will premiere in December.
I want to say, like, if you're going to make a documentary about Polo, like, amazing that you got Prince Harry to host it for you.
What won't he do?
He is so lowbrow.
I'm sorry.
I fucking hate him.
Yeah, I feel like this is a great get for you.
What's next?
Like, for real?
For real.
This is a great get for Netflix because like I could see some lower-tier royal hosting a show like this and it'd be like, oh, look at them.
Like they got a Marquess.
That's what he said.
They got a prince.
Yeah.
I'm sorry.
He is a royal for hire now.
He is a royal for hire.
Royal for hire.
25.
And I feel like five cents.
Megan is so particular about like her public appearances, her projects, like everything she does has like that royal element to it.
I don't feel like she's even close to being as like washed out as Prince Harrias with the three books.
It's like enough.
I can't like I see and maybe it's just I'm biased because I've really come to love her and fucking hate him.
Yeah.
So maybe I see it through this lens, but I think he's like tacky and disgusting and she's a queen.
Like to me, she's more royal than he is.
You're tacky and I hate you.
She acts more royal than him.
Well, I feel like right now we're not hearing a lot from her because like she's putting it all into ARO, which I saw she like can't get a trademark for or something.
She might have to change her name to American Riviera Orchard from American Riviera.
And you know what?
It's for the best because I can't even pronounce it.
And I also, I guess that would be like a hard thing to trademark because it's the American Riviera Orchard.
It's the Catalina wine mixer.
Right, right.
So yeah, Polo, if you're interested in the sport, it drops in December on Netflix.
It's a documentary that follows elite global players and offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced world of the sport.
From Archwell Productions and Boardwalk Boardwalk Pictures.
You know he got that Archwell in there.
He's like, you want me to host?
Call it Archwell.
Because now it looks less tacky because he's also a producer.
Yeah.
But as we know about producing, like really anybody.
It's a job in name only.
Anybody can get in there.
And I feel like from a Netflix perspective, they've done a lot of these, right?
It's kind of like Breakpoint where they followed all those.
They've done it with golf.
They've done it with tennis.
So polo, while it's not something I know anything about, I think for some people, there's like, they have their favorite polo players.
So that's great.
From a Harry perspective, seriously, stop.
But he can't.
He has to provide for his family.
I feel like she provides more than him.
But I feel like he feels called to provide for them like and protect them.
And he's going to like sell seriously every last story that he has to do so.
No, I feel like he's taking bags out of Megan's closet and hawking them at porn porn pawn shops,
pawn shops, just to make ends meet.
That's how he's acting.
Yeah, but I feel like he will do anything to make money because he feels like he owes it to them because he kind of mismanaged everything.
Yeah, and you know, I respect that in a husband, you know, wanting to be a provider.
I do.
But you're also, you have an image to maintain.
And the better you maintain your image, the more opportunity you'll have to make money for a longer period of time.
And I just feel like he's sort of throwing everything.
At a rate like this, you get so overexposed in a matter of years, and people are not.
And as a royal, you obviously have a little bit more than the average average celeb but i don't know he's really bothering me yeah
well our next story some celeb news rachel zoe announces a divorce from her husband roger berman after 26 years of marriage oh my god i was this is shocking especially because rachel zoe not to make it about us but she was just top of mind because we went to an event that she was hosting and it just i like was then looking at her instagram i was like looking at her and roger and i was like oh my gosh like they have such a great family and marriage and and they always have like through her show like, that was always like, truly a power couple.
Business partners, life partners.
Like, I, I was reaffirmed in their love just weeks ago.
So for it to happen now is like really kind of shook me.
No, it did.
And also, I forget about the time where like her TV show on Bravo, the Zoe Project, like was so like a part of my life.
I loved that show.
And so much of about, of it was about her marriage.
And she was this really talented fashion girly stylist.
And he was integral in making her company huge, right?
Beyond just being a celebrity stylist.
She has like a publication now.
She has, I think, clothing.
He is like a businessman.
And so it was really amazing to see two people who loved each other so much.
They were always like poking fun at each other.
They had a really fun marriage.
Then they had kids.
And I just like,
this was, and great, great Jews, you know?
Yeah.
This is a loss for the community.
This is a loss for the community.
And so she put out a statement saying, after 33 years together and 26 years married, Roger and I have come to the mutual decision to end our marriage.
We are incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together.
Our number one priority has been and will always be our children.
We are committed to co-parent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share.
We ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this chapter.
My number one feeling here, shock and awe.
Like I was surprised.
Yeah.
And I do really hope that it is amicable.
One, of course, primarily for the children.
but also like the business element.
Like, how do you even go about splitting those things up?
I think it's better if you don't.
Yeah.
And I think some people end up staying together.
Maybe they would have gotten divorced a while ago, but because there's so much at stake, I don't know, just when you're together for three to three years, I forget about you.
You know, I don't even think about the volatility.
Will they?
Won't they?
Yeah, you'd like put them on a shelf and you're like,
congratulate, congrats, grads.
I'm devastated and really, really shocked.
And I'm wishing them both nothing but the best.
Agreed.
Are you ready for our next story?
Multi-part, because Beyonce is on the cover of GQ
talking about the business of being Beyonce Knowles Carter.
It's a great interview.
The photos are gargypargy.
Check it out on GQ stands near you.
But Beyonce is also making headlines because the CMA Awards nominations came out and she did not get a nomination for any award.
And that is wrong.
Yeah.
It's wrong.
First of all, the album, obviously music is subjective, but I think we can all agree like it was really a beautiful work of art.
And I feel like she paid so much homage and so much respect to like the legacy of country music.
And And I think sometimes people like will release country music.
And this happened with like Casey Musgraves, right?
Like it was, she, it was a country album.
And then we listened to it.
And like it actually wasn't, you know?
So I think there are even people within country who get nominated for stuff and their music is like kind of not even country.
It's pop.
I think for a lot of the girls, they like straddle between and sometimes they make music that doesn't even sound country.
So Beyoncé sounded country.
She worked with country artists, country producers.
She sampled.
famous country songs like it was country you can't even deny that it was country and it was amazing and it was popular when you you compare it sales wise to like other popular country music, she was up there with the best of them.
So many of the songs had huge mainstream success, like TikTok, you know, how you have to play the game.
This ain't Texas.
Like there's, I cannot give you one good reason why she wouldn't have been nominated.
Not nominated for one thing.
Like it's, it's very much a choice.
Cause I feel like an argument can be made, like maybe she didn't get the nomination for album of the year.
Like, let's look at the other albums.
Maybe they were stronger.
Right.
For one single, like Texas hold him to not be nominated for a song, not a not a songwriting credit, not a music video, not a nothing, like it very much felt like the CMAs like intentionally went out to shut her out and like make this point.
And I don't know what point that they're making.
Well, she had said that so much of the reason why she wanted to release this album was based on this experience she had performing with, was it the chicks
at?
the CMAs.
So I feel like they wanted to stick it to her.
I seriously don't know because now everyone jumps jumps to the conclusion, well, she's a black woman.
They're leaving her out because she's black, right?
That's like a logical thought.
Yeah, that's probably like one theory that people have.
And so CMAs, explain yourself.
Like, seriously, give me one good reason why that's not the reason.
Yeah.
Because I seriously cannot, I cannot give one logical thought or explanation as to why she would not be included.
Yeah, unless they like to.
Think about how many of the songs went popular, like the Miley song.
Really?
No, I mean, like, Texas Hold'em should have been nominated for a single of the year.
Let's talk about what the single of the year nominations were.
16 carriages.
Like so good.
I'm sorry.
And like some of these singles of the year, and I'm a big fan of country music, I don't know them.
Hit me.
So a bar song, Shaboozy.
That should be the winner.
We'll win.
For sure.
That should be the winner.
And I'll be upset if it's not the winner.
Dirt Cheat by Cody Johnson.
I don't know it.
I don't know it.
I had some help post Malone and Morgan Wallen.
A great choice.
Watermelon Moonshine by Lainey Wilson.
Okay, I know it.
And you know what?
Everyone's going to say I'm like a woman hater because I always say this about Laney Wilson, and I can't stress enough how big of a Lainey Wilson fan I am.
But like, seriously, I could have given you three other Lainey Wilson songs that should have been better.
That song is actually not good.
And then White Horse by Chris Stapleton.
I don't know.
There's Space for Texas Hold'em.
And then Song of the Year nominees, Burn It Down by
Four People that I don't know.
I don't know.
Dirt Cheat by Josh Phillips.
Wait.
Oh, wait.
I'm sorry.
This is
those are the songwriters.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dirt Cheap was Cody Johnson.
Cody Johnson.
I had some help.
A bunch of people.
The painter.
Never heard of it.
And White Horse again.
And I follow country songs.
And even an underground.
It's all like a competitive category she could have won in Musical Event of the Year.
Yep, with Miley.
Instead.
Yep.
Cowboys Cry 2, Kelsey Ballarini, and Noah Kahn.
I Had Some Help, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen.
I remember everything.
Zach Bryan, Casey Musgraves, Man Made a Bar, Morgan Wallen, Eric Church.
Ooh, I'm torn.
That's a good category.
And her and Miley should have been in there.
You look like you love me, Ella Langley, Riley Green.
So, oh, I like that song too.
She obviously, they obviously went out of their way to just not include her in general.
To act like she doesn't exist.
And honestly, that just makes them look really lame.
And to say, like, nothing that what she did was country.
Right.
And we all know it was.
Like, sorry, facts are facts.
Yeah.
Like, she had Dolly Parton involved.
Like, please, please.
It's disgraceful.
Yeah.
And it makes them look like like big fat losers.
Yeah, it does.
And it's the headline of the nominations, and it takes away from everybody else who's nominated because, like, for every category, we're like, where is Beyonce?
No, and honestly, like, this is the exact type of behavior we should be encouraging.
Like, the biggest artist in the world randomly wants to make a country album and you're going to act like she doesn't exist.
Like, that makes you look lame.
That keeps country small.
Like, we're always saying how country should be more mainstream.
It's literally like the best music ever.
And then someone like Beyonce comes with her entire universe and her huge fandom and wants to join the party and you're not welcoming not cool not cool so here are the nominees for entertainer of the year
like seriously I don't even care because they're big losers like and sorry if no like everyone winning when they're not gonna include someone who was up there with the best of them like kind of doesn't count and the thing is even if uh cowboy carter was nominated for a number of albums like I don't think it would be nominated for entertainer of the year I don't think she would be nominated no so it's it's taking away from a category that it shouldn't even you know what I mean yep like if they just like given her flowers, like we could have evaluated all the music together and moved forward.
In a fair capacity.
Right.
But Luke Combs is nominated for Entertainer of the Year.
Of course he is.
And he'll lose because these people don't know shit.
Jellyroll,
Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson.
There she is.
Lainey Wilson will win.
Yeah.
There she is.
And look, she seriously.
Justice or Beyonce, right?
Justice for Carrie fucking Underwood and justice for Miranda Lambert, who held it down for women in country for literally 20 years and never won.
But the one time they did, they gave it to the both of them.
Seriously, justice for them.
Like, talk about like putting the industry on your back for nothing.
Yeah.
She didn't be a nominated, like, my God.
Album of the Year nominees.
Deeper Well, Casey Musgraves, love.
Extremely generous for album of the year.
Fathers and sons, Luke Combs, love.
Amazing.
Hiers, Chris Stapleton.
You guys, I think you know this at this point, but weirdly, like, I don't listen to Chris Stapleton.
I have no beef.
It's just like, I never got into it.
You're missing out.
I know that's true.
And like, objectively, like, he's the greatest artist of our century.
I just, I don't know why.
This has happened to me.
Yeah.
Leather, Cody Johnson, and Whit Sit Chapel Jelly Roll.
Not a stacked category, I methinks.
No.
And I'm feeling like hatery today, so I could say a lot of things, but maybe I'll regret.
So I'll just shut my mouth, but just like, seriously, do better.
And like, the thing is, it's not even stacked, but like, somehow they're not going to give it to Luke.
Of course.
What about
an album?
Was that this year?
No, no, it wasn't.
Danger.
No, not dangerous.
The one after that was
what the hell was that called?
But it's been around for a while.
Wish I would have known.
It's been around for a while.
Yeah.
Female vocalist of the year.
Kelsey.
By the way, I just, I do want to let you know, like, I'm at a place right now where I don't care.
You don't care.
because of the case.
Many of the listeners, maybe, just like for everything, they're always, I feel like every time, maybe it's like I'm too close to it because I care so much, but like every time we talk about these winners and these nominees, like they totally miss the ball.
And I don't even feel that way about the Grammys.
Like sometimes, yeah, I disagree, but not all the time.
I feel like every time we're talking about like the CMAs and stuff, like I'm disagreeing so hard, I don't want to give them any.
I feel like Eden says toon, like I've given you so much of my heart, my time, you bitch.
Okay, then I'll just do new artist of the year and we can move on because my boy is nominated and he better fuck you in.
Shibuzi is nominated megan maroney if she won i would understand as well but like i'm sorry shibuzi is like doing things no one's ever nobody else is doing nate smith mitch snitchell 10 penny not a new artist thank you
zach top and bailey zimmerman well it's the same thing with the grammys people always um
Kind of freak out when someone who's like been doing this for a couple of years gets nominated.
You can submit yourself for best new artist.
I think in the Grammys, I don't know about the CMAs three times.
And if you're not nominated for anything else, like like you're still technically a new artist.
So someone who even like has had popular music for like two, three years can be a new artist.
It's kind of weird.
Do you think Sabrina would be a new artist?
Yes.
Sabrina.
It always comes back to her.
Well, Queenie.
Are you ready for our next story?
Mm-hmm.
Because Shaylene Woodley is hinting at the reason behind her Aaron Rodgers split in rare quotes about her broken heart.
And it's almost like she knew that we needed to know.
Yeah.
Shaylene is seemingly giving insight into her and Aaron's breakup.
Two years after they called it quits, the actress broached the topic while speaking to bustle about starring in the three women which she filmed after she and Aaron ended their engagement in 2022 while telling I don't know if I realized they were engaged yeah while telling the outlet about her broken heart which had quote healed and broken again she admitted to falling in love over and over with unavailability so that's a key word here she explained quote i love easy and also like this is shaylene speaks so we really have to read between the lines because like she's not just being like like he's a prick i hate him yeah you know no she's like a a kind of it's word salad.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yummy, yummy.
Okay.
So everyone, get out your forks.
I love easy and I care easy, but I do not love lightly and I do not care lightly.
It's really taken me a lot of time to understand that it's not on me to fix or heal or do anything about a relationship other than protect the deep care and love that I have for the world and for my people.
Not the world.
Not her people.
Ultimately, that has helped me walk away without the need to understand why certain things didn't play out the way I may have desired them to.
She also noted that she is, quote, not interested in people who cross or disrespect her.
Quote, I used to be a person who would continue to give and give.
And now I respectfully go, thank you so much for that information.
Have a beautiful life.
I wish you well.
Okay.
Discuss.
So I feel like I'm in English clash.
What did the poet mean?
We're going to get into the transliteration of this haiku momentarily.
I want to say something.
I love Shaylene Woodley.
Like, I really do.
But I just know, like, if I met her out in the world and we had a conversation, like, I would fucking hate her.
Like, what the hell is she talking about?
You guys, like, if you were in the same class in school, like, you wouldn't be friends.
You wouldn't be the two that gravitated towards each other.
No, no, like, I wouldn't like her, and like, she would not like me.
Agreed.
I think we can all agree with that.
I think this was like a very granola way of saying
they're ideologically different.
Oh, no, I didn't get that.
That like he was mean.
Oh, I thought you were saying about like the world and my people.
So it's like maybe they see the world differently.
Maybe they do.
Seriously, I'm not even going to pretend to know what you're saying.
No, but I wasn't thinking that until you just said
until you started your
one thing she won't do, like, well, someone disrespecting her.
Yeah.
What was the word unavailability?
I feel like he is limited in his capacity to love and give and share and open up.
And she
to give and receive.
I feel like he's like, when he's in a relationship, like he's probably a closed off guy, but he's also a guy and like he's not like writing poems.
And I like you.
If I like you, I like you.
And I don't need to tell you all the time.
I don't need to like affirm you all the time.
Like he's, his love language is probably like, I'm watching TV.
Go away.
No, he seriously sounds like a nightmare.
Like, I think he's just like textbook man and like she needs a little more three-dimensional that's what I think.
Yeah, I think that she's really dynamic and she
I seriously, I don't even know what we're talking about.
I just think like she like is looking for a level of depth that he's incapable of, yes, and not in a shady way, just like in a real because I think he's very
what you see is what you get, you know.
And I feel like maybe he's one of those people who like very, very oftentimes, no, no, very infrequently, like will open up and like show himself to someone.
And that's what gets like a girl like Shaylene Woodley to fall in love with him.
But you don't get that openness ever, right?
And when you do, it's like addicting, and then you're just kind kind of chasing that depth and some when she's a person who's so complex and so deep and so dynamic some people like need more and they need to like be on that level a lot of the times and other people like they can't operate honestly like it's draining to do so all the time they don't function like that they're capable of it but like i'm not living my life every day opening up a vein i'm just not
Honestly, I feel like we've kind of nailed the
translation.
I think so too.
How did you guys translate it?
Sound off in the comments.
Yeah, are we like totally misreading the situation?
I know.
She would be like, how was your day?
And he's like, good.
And she wants more than that.
Meanwhile, something major happened and he just like doesn't feel like sharing.
Right.
He's just like not in a sharing mood.
But I think sharing is not optional in Shaylene's relationship.
Sharelene Woodley.
Sharelene Woodley.
There you go.
It's as simple and as complicated as that.
There you go.
Are you ready for our fifth and final story?
Oh my God.
Yeah.
Oh, wait.
Back to Beyonce.
Sorry.
Something I wanted to to talk about that you and I talked about offline are all these videos going viral of Beyonce attending her former assistant's wedding, which is just really cool of her, right?
Like I'm sure she gets invited to a lot of her former employees or current employees' weddings, but you know, you have to be conscious about where you go.
Also, you kind of make a circus and it's hard for a really famous person to be at someone else's wedding because it automatically stops becoming about the bride.
But I didn't even see that she was there.
Like, I think she really did a good job of like staying low-key.
She brought Jay-Z and Blue.
And then all these videos ended up going viral of her singing Love on Top.
Well, not singing.
Dan DJ played Love on Total.
And she was like dancing with her.
And she was dancing with the bride.
So cute.
So cute.
And the bride, we actually know her.
She went to camp with us.
And my best friend Margo was at the wedding and she was texting.
I didn't know any of you.
You didn't tell me that.
You were like, did you see that Beyonce went to her former assistant's wedding?
I'm like, yeah.
And you know that Margo Lewin was there and you know the bride and she was in my division at camp and she's a great gal.
And she was Beyoncé's assistant for five years and they clearly had like a really sweet relationship.
I want to say, I can't lie, I don't remember her from camp, but you know.
She's not your division.
She's two two years older than you.
So happy for her.
Like, getting married is obviously huge, but having Beyonce at your wedding, like, there are people like that Indian family, they'll pay like, oh, $16 million.
And she had.
And Beyonce's over here going for free.
You must be quite necessary.
She had a destination wedding.
It was in Nantucket.
So like, I don't think
so they had to like rent a house, like get traveled.
Like, that's a lot.
She must really love her.
No, Beyonce looked so normal at the wedding.
She just looked like any other guest.
I thought it was so sweet.
And really, Love on Top is the perfect.
It's kind of underrated.
I feel like certain songs become so wedding-y that they become bad songs, like Perfect by Achirans.
Like, it's actually a bad song now because you just think of weddings.
But Love on Top is probably one of the best songs ever made.
And it's the most perfect wedding song.
I feel like they don't even play it at every wedding and they should, but then it gets ruined, you know?
Yeah.
But there are some like classic wedding songs, like Uptown Funk, like, will never be bad.
Yeah, no, some songs are so good that even weddings can't destroy them, but good songs do get destroyed by weddings.
Maybe they weren't good enough.
Shout, it was on my no playlist.
Right.
Like there are a couple of songs.
Yeah.
Like that.
Like kind of, aye aye.
But that one's still slashed.
Yeah, that gets the people going.
And these days, there's so many good like remixes of it.
There's a lot you can do with it.
Hey, yeah.
Ta-da-da-da-dept-a.
Well, our fifth and final story is a little gala news because the girlies were out for the Kerig Foundation Caring for Women event.
They were out.
Kim Kardashian, Lauren Sanchez, Katie Perry, and more all attended the gala.
And headline news from the event.
Did you see this headline?
Orlando Bloom
was photographed with Katie and standing beside Kim.
And he's like looking at Kim's tissue in the picture.
Okay, the thing is, is you're not.
Okay, I'm not one to automatically assume the worst.
Like, and I actually don't think he was looking at it like suggestively or sexually.
Like, I think that she is the craziest ass on the planet.
And like, how can you not stare?
Like, it's like rubbernecking.
You have to look on the highway.
Like, it's just, it's human nature to look at something that's really abnormal.
Yeah, I, I, I don't think there's another way to interpret this photo.
Like, was there a smiley face on the ground that says, say cheese?
Like, no, he was obviously looking at the ass.
Yeah.
But, but I think a lot of people are like, oh, his wife is right there.
And he's staring at another woman's ass, like, in a sexy way.
And I just want to say, I don't, I think if you saw Kim Kardashian, you would stare at her ass too.
Like, one, it's like famous.
Two, it's really crazy looking.
It's not not like any ass you've ever seen.
And it's famous.
It's historic.
Yeah, but perhaps like not while people are taking pictures.
It's not the time.
But no, of course.
But also, when you think about those cameras, they take like 45 photos.
He probably looked for one second and like one photo got of it.
Like it probably wasn't this like long, gross, creepy stare.
It was probably like he probably looked down at the floor for one second.
Like, I think that he's being treated unfairly.
Yeah.
And I'm not being paid by big or less.
But I also don't, like, if this were a different couple, I'd be like, oh, like, he's like, seriously, like, I pray for him when he goes home like no no no like Katie's gonna like be so mad I don't feel that way I feel like Katie does not care okay and isn't like giving him a tongue lashing when they go home she probably saw this picture and was like ha ha yeah Kim is a great butt and I think Katie Perry is like in this moment really desperate for news about her and also good news about her like or news that's not about dr.
Luke so the fact that we're talking about this because Orlando looked like she's probably grateful to him honestly like this is a business now it reminds me me last night I've been watching Desperate Housewives.
Me and Ben watched the episode where they're having a dinner party at Bree's house, and they're talking about how Gabby in high school was like such a popular girl, and Tom Scava was like the big loser.
And he was like, Oh, I would have loved for you to have like talked to me in high school.
So, she's like, All right, let me heal your inner child.
And she kisses him.
And Lynette gets really angry and says something, and it becomes this like big fight.
And Lynette ends up apologizing.
Like, seriously, I didn't even remember this episode, but me and Ben were like shocked.
Gabby's literally the worst.
Gabby Solise is actually like a bad person.
Like, Susan Meyer is annoying, right?
Insufferable.
Not a bad person.
Stupid.
Gabby Solis, like, remember when she called immigration on her biological daughter's mother?
Like, Gabby Solise is a bad person.
Yeah.
No, watching it when you're older is realizing like she's not the best character.
She's one of the worst ones.
But when you're younger, like, she's just so fabulous.
She's a fabulous model.
And you don't realize that.
Yeah.
No, that's crazy.
But then it also, like,
you see how like people could get into soft swinging.
Because apparently, like, it's a normal thing to, like, kiss your friend's husband.
I mean, you live live in the suburbs like what's it like?
Are people doing it in your neighborhood?
I mean if they are I don't know.
I don't walk around with the upside-down pineapple.
Then you're offended.
Nobody included you.
No, but it's like you either I feel like you don't ever just know what that is happening because you're either in it and you know or you don't know.
Like who knows and then isn't in it?
Like you you're either all the way
someone who leaves.
I know, but I feel like they don't let you leave because they have so much honor.
It's like people don't want to leave, right?
I think it's
starting.
Is joining.
Yeah.
But then once you're in it, like, and it's very, like, normal to you, I think people enjoy it.
I also like just don't,
I don't have the time.
I don't know.
I just like, is it that common, you know?
I think it is.
Like, honestly,
I do.
I don't know.
I do.
I guess we'll never know.
I will say I personally.
In my life, do not know a single married couple who does.
But if I did, like, would I share on the show said I knew?
No.
So maybe I'm lying.
but I'm not.
You wouldn't know unless you're being brought in.
Yeah.
Is what I'm saying.
So it's, there's not like people who don't participate, but know about it.
Yeah.
Even with the mom talkers, like, right.
They didn't know.
If they weren't doing it, they didn't know about it.
They didn't know.
So it was shocking when they found out.
Yeah.
I just feel like we've been talking a lot about swinging.
Okay.
A lot about swinging recently.
Name a Hollywood couple who you think swings.
All of them.
Lauren Sanchez and Jeff.
Oh, no.
I I don't think she shares.
She's not a shit.
Oh, she's not a shit.
It's true, but that's why they have that boat, so many bedrooms, just to invite as many people.
They're always inviting couples.
No, no, no.
I don't think she shares her toys.
I agree, actually.
I think she's like really proud of the guy that she got.
She's like, no, no, no.
Like, some people, they want a little of this, a little of that.
She's like, I'm all set.
Thanks.
Like, I don't need anything.
You know what she is?
She's grateful.
Yeah.
She's blessed.
Yeah.
And even if he's like looking this way or that way, she's like, no, I could be all those things.
What do you want?
It's true.
What do you want?
You want me to fly this plane?
Order up.
Those were the fast five stories, more like Fast 11, and we love that.
And this episode is far from over.
We're about to play for you our interview with Lindsay Hubbard.
Jax, what was your,
like from, well, you weren't, you were digital, but still, like, meeting her for the first time.
What was your first impression of her?
Oh, that she's so sweet.
I do feel like she's so understood and misunderstood.
And I feel like something that I really took away from her is like, I feel like she's very honest, whether you like what she has to say or doesn't like, don't like what she has to say.
Like we've not really like caught her in a lie on the show or even when she was talking to us, even when she's saying something that's unsavory or like, you know, not what the preferred answer would be like, I really took away that she seems incredibly honest and authentic.
I agree.
I was really shocked at she's very nice.
You have an impression of her, like activated.
She came in so lovely, so happy to be here, grateful to have been invited.
Like my takeaway, sweet is the perfect word.
I thought she was very sweet.
And that's what my friends were like, what was she like?
I'm like, really nice.
Like swirly, honestly.
Swirly vibes for sure.
So enjoy Lindsay Hubbard on the toast, which is brought to you by Stacked the Brand.

It doubles as a block and enhances or modifies your workout.
So this year, they focused on a rebrand.

They went from being stacked the mat to stacked the brand, and they recently released the stacked mat pro, which is a gripper, more durable version of the original mat and they just launched their second product which is the stacked weights so the stacked weights are patented adjustable hand weights that allow you to flex between two four and six pounds without having multiple pairs of weights the stacked weights are an all-in-one solution that bring functionality and a sleek aesthetic to your routine that's what i really like about stacked is margo put me onto their um mats and i feel like they're becoming a brand it's like when they drop a product you know it's going to be good like you kind of trust them now and you trust that it's going to be really cute some fitness equipment is so ugly and if you have to keep it in your apartment like it's just embarrassing Their hand weights are really gorgeous, like very sleek, shiny, mine are ivory.
Their mattes come in a ton of different colors.
I have like a plany pink.
I have like a sea foam green.
So they're keeping aesthetics in mind, but they're also really keeping like efficacy and really
well, products that perform well.
top of mind, which I love.
So the stacked weight includes a base weight of two pounds and two boosts, which are each two pounds.
They easily screw into the base weight.
They allow you to use the weights as two, four, or six pounds for your exercise needs.

Enjoy Lindsay Hubbard on the toast.
We are so excited and honored to have her here.
So Lindsay Hubbard on the toast starts
now.
We are so excited to be sitting down with not only someone who is so popular here at the toast, we talk about her all the time, but we also haven't done a guest interview in literal months.
So today we're just kind of breaking records with lindsey hubbard hello lindsey
i'm so excited to be here i'm obsessed with you girls we we are so obsessed with you you're our queenie of the week every week i don't know how much you've like listened to the toast in the last six months but like our lindsey renaissance era is here we're so happy for you we're so happy to have you on the show and to bring that guest starting with lindsey hubbard oh my gosh no i there was so many times where i wanted to reach out and be like i need to come on you need to come on but then i was like there's no point because you you guys articulated exactly what I was thinking, feeling, and just like who I was in those moments so well that I was like, I actually just don't even need to go on.
I imagine it's so frustrating to have like your life play out on TV and then people on social media recapping it and like just.
like saying things that probably irritate you to the next level.
And this is like personal things, your fiancé, your pregnancy, like people speaking, even in a positive way, but like not really understanding you.
I can only imagine how frustrating it is to have people commentating on your life.
And so, I imagine listening to the toast has been a joy.
No, it really has.
And, like, like I said, you guys really crushed it with how I was feeling in all of those moments.
The thing that bothered me the most with last season was like everyone was just like, oh, you know,
A, like, Lindsay probably deserved it.
Like, the whole season was like, what did Lindsay do?
What did Lindsay do?
Kind of waiting to see.
Like, she obviously.
And I was like, literally,
nothing.
I don't understand.
It's true.
And then the second thing that bothered me so, so much was just like this whole idea that I was not allowed to be blindsided because we had fought.
And I was just like, are you fucking kidding me?
As if everyone in the house doesn't fight the entire season, too.
No, and like what plays out.
Yeah, like, and what played out for like four months on television was like two weeks in real life.
You know what I mean?
Oh, that's so true, actually, because the summer is condensed.
How long?
And you just got out of the house, right?
How long do you film for?
And you just filmed the upcoming season?
From 4th of July to Labor Day.
So
a little over two months.
So you just got off the clock
walking out.
Are you okay?
Are you okay?
I had a great summer.
Okay.
And I'm really, really happy about that.
Obviously, it's a different dynamic with me being pregnant, but everyone was so supportive.
I felt like we were collectively having a baby as a house
instead of just like me being pregnant and on an island alone.
Do you feel like people went easier on you and like didn't pick fights that they might have normally picked with you because you're pregnant?
Yeah, you're not gonna like fight with the pregnant chicken.
No, it's not a good look.
Also, it's so unethical.
Like, can this first off?
Zidi, you haven't been through enough.
I don't know how the fuck you sat at that reunion last year.
You knew you were pregnant, right?
Yes.
So maybe that brought you like a sense of calm, but I felt so frustrated on your behalf watching it.
I don't know how you sat there and just like let people say like the things that they were saying.
And really, it was really everyone against you.
Okay, there's a couple of things with that.
First of all, unfortunately i am used to it and like it's one of those things that like you just shouldn't be used to that kind of abuse in life
but i was i'm used to walking into reunions and just taking it um so i was just prepared for that but i was calm because I'm the only one sitting up there who knows that I'm pregnant.
And in my mind, I have so much more going on that I'm focused on and thinking about.
At the time that we filmed the reunion,
I was eight weeks pregnant.
So I was still very much in my first trimester.
I was still going through all of this testing.
I had not reached that, you know, 12-week genetic testing yet.
So for me, I was just like, all right, no matter what happens here on the stage, I know that like I have a lot going on in my present, my current, my, and my future to think about.
And that's not important when what you're going through is obviously more important.
Yeah.
And like sitting there talking about my, like, I'm like, it was this duality of, oh my God, I have this like major biggest, you know, situation becoming a mom.
It's like the biggest thing I'm ever going to go through.
I, I know that I'm about to go through that.
No one else does.
And I'm here talking to my ex about why he wants to be an actor for a living.
You know, like
it really puts it into perspective for you.
So true, by the way, it's like a blessing in disguise because it would have been a lot of fun.
It makes so much sense how you were able to be so calm because it's like none of this is relevant anymore.
Yeah, I'm just like, you're an an idiot.
I have a lot going on and let's just move on.
No, I can seriously only fucking imagine.
And Jackie and I were getting so involved last season and we've been sort of passive watchers, not really consistent until maybe two, three years ago.
And we were really,
you know, we looked a little silly because we were so on your side two seasons ago when everybody was coming after you and Carl and Danielle acting like the way she acted.
And it's like annoying that I don't think you guys were right for each other.
And it's annoying that you didn't work out only because I feel like it gave someone like Danielle being like, well, look, I was right, and everyone, the haters.
But the thing is, like, you were still right, like, just didn't work out.
I'm like, Claudia, we were still right.
Like, we were guys are adults who've known each other forever.
Like, if you want to move at a fast pace in your relationship, that's not the reason why it might not work out.
Yeah, and like, also,
I don't know.
I'm, I'm, when I'm in a relationship, I am in it.
I am so committed, I am so committed to making it work.
I will fight until the death, you know, because I just don't run away from problems and I nothing scares me.
So, like, I don't know.
I guess like in that relationship with Carl, I just thought, like, we're going to get through this.
You know, he was in a very transitional point in his life.
And obviously, looking back, and it didn't take me that long after the breakup, but looking back soon after that breakup, I was very, very thankful and got to a place really quickly where I was like, wow, thank God I am out of that relationship.
Yeah.
Well, it's also just not normal for you to then have to spend the summer living in the same house with this person.
And I seriously, like, I thought of you all summer.
Like, how, how was that?
Oh, my God.
Thank you.
No, seriously, that's horrifying.
Like, people run from their exes.
They never see them again.
And then here you are, like, it's not.
You're living in the same house.
How was that?
Yeah.
First of all, thank you for your empathy.
You're welcome.
She's an empath.
I am an empath.
It is absolutely not normal, especially that serious of a relationship.
Like, this isn't a high school relationship.
It was an actual, like, like, we're going to go like, get married.
And then I was basically dumped at the altar
and then decided, yeah, let's share a house together.
It was fine.
Okay.
He was very respectful as he should be considering how much
lack of respect he had in that breakup.
But yeah, he was very respectful.
It was fine.
It wasn't, you know, there was never any time that we're we're having like these moments of like there were, we were never together alone.
Good, good.
You shouldn't be.
That's strange.
Yeah, and nor did I want to be.
Did you go to his little event for his soft bar?
Soft bar?
Yeah, thank you, yeah.
I was really busy that day.
Yeah.
I had a bad thing.
It's actually the perfect concept for you now.
His bar for you for pregnancy.
You need a soft bar.
No.
I think even as a pregnant lady, I
probably want to go
to like a normal restaurant bar with my friends and
have a Diet Coke or something.
I don't know.
It's too much.
Like it actually is too much.
And I think what's so great about your journey on the show is you have lived so many lives on the show.
Like it's been, how old were you when you started?
29, turning 30.
I turned 30 when we filmed season one.
And how old are you now, if you don't mind me asking?
I just turned 38.
Queen.
That's a significant portion of your life.
And I feel like we've seen you grow so much.
And for us, I loved, I feel like I recently learned like how much people can change because I feel like I changed so much about myself recently.
And I'd love to see that in other people.
And I felt like the person you were last season was so grown.
You were so mature.
It was shocking how somebody could be that patient and mature.
And I felt so frustrated that you got so much flack when I thought you were acting so mature.
Yeah, no.
Where did that really come from?
How did you do that?
Well, the problem is like, first of all, therapy.
Right?
Okay.
A lot of consistent therapy every single week for years.
Yeah.
And finding the right therapist.
But also, I think what's so frustrating is when people don't allow you to grow.
And like, they still are like, oh my God, Lindsay's like insane and she's a psycho and she gets activated and yells and screams.
But like if you really, really pay attention,
I did not get activated last season.
I actually didn't get activated on season seven either when it was that big fight with Danielle all summer and the girls were coming after me like I never got activated which probably doesn't make for great TV like I'm sure people are really like missing activated Lindsay
but you might see her this I hope so this comes has pregnancy like made you more emotional they say like hormonal but has it affected like how you react to things some people make them calm some people makes them enraged I for the most part have had like a pretty calm pregnancy very very happy and giggly Um, but there are times when my hormones are raging through my body and I just cannot control it.
Like yesterday, I was, I've been dealing with this like health insurance and on the phone with them, and it's like a disaster, especially if you're dealing with like individual health insurance in New York City.
Oh my God.
Yeah.
I do not recommend it.
Always get a husband who has a job,
get on his insurance
through their employer.
Like it is a disaster we're in a similar boat so i'm like for the 17th time i'm on the phone with you know the new york state of health trying to go through this whole thing and i'm just like crying and texting my boyfriend like i'm like i'm having a rough day i'm crying on the phone with insurance for like the third time today and he's like oh no i don't want to go home and then sometimes i just like cannot stop crying and i don't know why i feel like that's normal and then there's other times where i'm just like irritable and i hate everyone And I'm like, okay, Lens, like get it together.
Me too.
You're fine.
I think it's just life.
Yeah, that is life.
People are annoying.
You and your man are also so cute.
I feel like we know nothing about him.
And I love that for you.
There's nothing like more attractive than a man with no social media.
An anonymous businessman Bo.
What's his role on the show this season?
Anything?
He's a pretty private person.
Good.
So I talk about him a lot and I talk about our relationship.
It is an interesting dynamic.
It's new for me.
I'm a very, very public person and grew to learn how to be very public over the last eight seasons of Summerhouse.
And he's in a just a different world, you know, comes from a medical background, is a doctor, doesn't practice, but is in biotech.
And, you know, they're just like...
Dr.
and Mrs.
Hubbard.
I love that.
Something I wanted to talk about that I just am now putting together, this was our first season filming without Danielle, which I know has been like complicated for you.
I think at the end of last season, you guys left it like fine.
How was the first season without her?
And how was she doing?
She's around.
Oh, yeah.
She's like friend of.
I don't know what, you know, lately.
Like what they'll call it.
They'll put on her.
But yeah, she's been around this summer, just not as much.
Okay.
Okay, so like much ado about nothing.
They made it like a whole thing with the statement and everything.
I think she just needed a break.
You know, obviously
this is a pretty intense filming schedule, especially, you know, over summer.
And we don't really get many breaks.
Like we literally like film the reunion, the rest of the season airs, the reunion airs, and then two weeks later, we're back to filming.
And there's just no chill with our schedule and filming and airing.
And I think she just wanted to focus on her company that she's the CEO of.
And
just like wanted a break.
And honestly, like, I was a little jealous.
I was like, oh, how was your free summer?
Did you travel?
Do you enjoy yourself?
But she was still present.
Like, we will see her.
Yes, exactly.
And so when do you film the reunion?
We typically film it in like April, May.
Oh, so you have a nice little show.
Last year we filmed it in May.
It aired mid-June and we started July 4th.
Wow.
That's a lot.
Yeah.
So it's like there literally is no chill, especially because when you're watching the show, it brings up all of these emotions and feelings from the past.
Like you really cannot get
over.
Yeah, you can't move on for an entire year.
Right.
But do you feel like at the end of the summer, like the summer ends in a peaceful manner, but then you have to get back into everything and then it makes like all the tensions higher going into the house again for the following summer?
Exactly.
That's pretty smart on production.
Like you're getting, you're revving everyone up again.
Yeah.
well i mean we're one of the only shows that's like pretty consistent with our timing of our filming every year you know like you can't film summer house any other time other than the summer time
but any other show whether it's vanderpomp or southern charm or housewives you can kind of like flux fluctuate between the months yeah yeah
um i think that like you coming out of this whole saga with Carl pregnant is like the most beautiful thing.
I think so many people have followed your journey for many years and really saw themselves in your story, like just wanting this fairy tale ending and it not working out in the way that you had expected it to.
And the fact that you got to this place, where how many weeks pregnant are you?
I am just about 28 weeks.
So I'm like, it's so amazing.
It's a long stretch.
On the cusp of my third trimester.
I'm about to be in my third trimester and it's insane.
No, it's insane.
And I think it's such a perfect way for that saga to have ended.
And we're so happy for you.
And I think the viewers who have known you and watched you for so long feel the same way.
And we just want to know, like, is pregnancy everything you thought it would be?
Like, how are you doing?
I've been very, really lucky and blessed to have an easy pregnancy.
I don't know how yours was, Jackie, but
one easy one hard.
I wasn't nauseous.
I haven't been sick.
You know, obviously I've had some like weird things.
Like, my back was breaking out at one point, but not my face.
And I was like, this is strange.
Better your back than your face.
My lips were like so so chapped and cracked and I could not get them.
You know, there was just like little random stuff, but I can't really complain because it's just overall been so, so easy.
The only, which I kind of needed, to be honest with you, is like an easy pregnancy, especially in that first trimester because the rumors were swirling so much.
It was so disheartening for me.
Like I was really emotional and like upset just that like, you know, I had all these media outlets and you guys were very, very respectful.
So thank you for that.
I remember you guys saying, if it's true, I hope it is because I'm really happy for her.
And like, nothing else.
And you guys left it out.
I had heard it like three months before, but I didn't say anything.
Yeah.
No.
And I appreciate that because what was crazy is that like a lot of people didn't respect it.
Yeah.
And, you know, as females and as women,
I would have expected more from our, you know, female community, especially for those who have had the experience of pregnancy.
But you have to keep in mind, like...
I think you're talking about someone really specifically.
Oh, I'm just.
Oh, well.
I would like, are you talking about someone specifically?
There are a couple of people that are on my list.
Oh, damn.
But who are you thinking of?
I wasn't thinking of anyone's, but you were like describing, you were like, a woman who has been through pregnancy.
Well, it's just like some of these, you know, like media outlets and some of these reporters and some of these, you know,
like Bravo fan accounts.
Like, it's just like, I didn't understand why they're talking about something when I'm not ready to talk about it.
Like, I had to get through that first trimester.
I had to get through all of the testing and the genetic screening.
I've already had a miscarriage before.
So for me, you know, like, I didn't know what was going to happen or how my body was going to react this time around.
And like, I just had to get through.
And like,
like, I, my goal and objective was just like lie, deny, lie, deny, lie, deny.
And like, I did not care.
I had the
craziest poker face.
But yeah, there was definitely, this was a moment where for me, I started looking around at some of these people.
And I was like, how does one woman try to scoop another woman out of like the biggest announcement of her life?
I just thought that was like
really sick.
I just want to say I loved the Clear Blue sponsor.
Like obsessed.
I am activated by that sponsorship.
And I was like, you guys are ridiculous.
When I have a baby, you know, I should be so blessed.
You bet your ass I'm taking that shit to Claire Blue.
Like, that is so premium.
And they are the best test, I also want to say.
Like, the, are you pregnant?
Yes or no?
Like, not line to line.
Yes.
The line.
Really, really easy.
Very digital.
Like, yes or no.
Pregnant.
Not pregnant.
And also, like, that was the legitimate test that I took.
Right.
So afterwards, I was like, okay, well, if I'm already announcing my pregnancy, I'm already going to post that I'm pregnant.
Why not get a situation?
This is a business.
Like, I get it.
I respect it.
I loved every, I loved it.
Yeah, I loved it.
Okay, so you're now 28 weeks pregnant, doing, you know, you're doing the most.
You've got your, which we talked about on the toast.
We think it's so smart what you did in Nashville with the
pub hat.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I thought that was such an original way for a reality star to invest their money because it can be hard and, you know, seasons are high and low and you get fired.
Like there are, there's not a lot of certainty in that job.
And I think investing in real estate, but then also making it a part of the show was so smart.
Yeah.
And I think it's genius.
It's doing, it's phenomenal.
It's rented out every single week.
Like I can barely stay there.
That's amazing.
It's so great.
There's no dates available for me.
I love that.
I'm like, all right, I guess I'll pick a Monday
in, you know, next year.
And you're filming the show.
You have so much going on.
And also this pregnancy.
You're living in the apartment that you were broken up in, right?
Yeah.
And I love following your nursery chronicles.
I love the wallpaper you chose.
Really beautiful.
Thank you.
Is that the former guest room?
Yes.
That he was always chugging about.
Yes.
That is poetic.
I think he's going to check the kid out in.
No, totally.
I saged it.
I went around.
I was like, we got to get some, all the bad juju out and the good vibes in.
And then I started ordering all the nursery furniture.
And it's, it's, we have a lot.
It looks good.
Yeah, it came together really quickly.
I'm still clearing out a bunch of stuff.
I'll probably have my organizers come over and help me.
Right.
And your rocking chair kind of looks like our chairs.
It's Bucle.
Yep.
Bucal.
It's very nice and nice.
It's very beautiful.
All the girls wearing bucle.
You're having a girl.
Yes, I'm having a girl.
I'm so excited.
Did you have any, like, did you want a girl?
Did you have any gender disappointment?
I know that that's a thing.
I did not have gender disappointment.
I was 100%
convinced that it was a boy only because all of the old wives' tales and myths,
it was like, I had had such an easy pregnancy i was i don't know craving like salty savory foods instead of sweet foods whatever all of those myths are right i it was like leaning more towards a boy um so i was just a hundred percent convinced that it was gonna be a boy and and i think i give a lot of like boy mom vibe when i saw your instagram that you had a girl i was like oh that feels right like i kind of i i think i think you were meant to be a girl mom yeah no i was it I was in complete shock after my boyfriend had, you know, revealed the gendered situation.
Also, such a cute way to do it.
It's very competitive.
You want to have like a cute gender reveal, not too much, not too little, not too like fireworks, set off fire.
Oh, my God.
No.
I thought it was so cute.
So chic, too.
I loved it.
Yeah.
And, well,
again, that was at a time, like, we...
We found the gender out when we found out the genetic screening results and having a healthy baby and healthy pregnancy.
And I told him, like, look, I have had a hard time grasping on to things that are exciting about this pregnancy because I'm so busy fighting off the media and podcasters and like everyone around me.
So I was like, do you want to find out the gender?
And he's like, yes.
And I was like, great, why don't you find it out and reveal it to me in a cute way?
And
we found out and we weren't going to Europe for another like two weeks.
So I actually waited.
He knew for two full weeks before he did that reveal and it was really really sweet i was in complete shape you know accidentally dropped a pronoun she i'm i'm shocked i was like how did you do that that's hard yeah i feel like also one of the fun things about being pregnant is like seeing who's pregnant alongside with you and i feel like you're in a great season of like celebrity pregnancies reality stars have you spoken to your fellow pregnant women like haley bieber just
exited the chat but like i feel like it's a great time to be pregnant like when i was pregnant i was always like kylie's pregnant it was a it was i had a good time i know margo Robbie's pregnant.
Yeah, I know what you're gonna say.
I was like, wait a second, this is amazing.
And now I'm just like taking all of her fashion and spring.
And there's a picture of her like walking around with her bumped out, and it literally looks like you.
It's the best compliment I could ever receive.
Yeah, that's a really
good one.
Yeah, the Margo compliments.
I'm like, tell me more.
Oh, you know what?
Jackie and I kind of wanted to ask you something because we need a little bit of insider info.
So you lived in the house all summer with everyone.
Yep.
I know, you know, Craig came and visited.
And we haven't, we're not sure, but like, is there drama in the house about Spritz?
There was
one conversation.
Obsessed.
But I think after that one conversation, it was
squashed.
That's good.
Was it like a really conversation?
Well, actually, I guess there was two conversations.
Oh, so there was,
yeah, there was one conversation.
And when Craig came came to visit, I actually was gone that weekend.
Oh.
But I do know that there was that second conversation.
That's so fabulous.
That is exciting.
Thanks, Joe.
I don't think you guys have anything to worry about.
No, I mean, we literally did nothing wrong.
We are excited to be a part.
We're excited to be a part of it.
Speak our truth.
Speak our truth.
Yeah, we're just on our very
cast members.
Yeah, well, I actually feel like last season ended kind of frustratingly, and Claudia and I were left with like some lingering questions that I would just like to ask you so I can move forward.
Just like logistical things.
Like first of all, why don't they have a camera in the cars that you guys are always fighting in?
Oh my gosh, I know.
Yeah, because oftentimes like we would rap
when we were like finishing dinner.
And then
some people would go out.
Some people would go home.
So then it's up to us to get an Uber.
And obviously
we're not like
production vehicles.
I feel like you guys should have like three seconds.
Like fans.
We do.
You do.
We do.
So like whenever you see us going to the beach or like going to the restaurant, but a lot of times, again, like we'll rap like at that restaurant.
Yeah.
Got it.
And then we're not, you know, then everyone's off the clock and they're not like rolling the GoPros.
Yeah.
Okay.
A lingering question I had, like that whole Wes thing was really crazy.
How he went from like America's sweetheart to America's most wanted.
Like it was
about seven minutes, how he destroyed what could have been like a really, you know, um fruitful career.
Yeah, he got a really quick roadmap on like the rise and fall
and you know
the bumpy roads of reality TV.
Did he film?
Yes.
How do you think he'll fare?
Um,
I mean, I guess you'll have to see.
It's, it's always hard to tell.
Yeah.
You know, it's, it's hard to tell because for me, again, like I got, I get along with Wes.
I brought him into the house to begin with.
You know, I really like him as a person.
Yeah, but that will be covered.
That the whole fallout
of that.
Because that's got to be tough on someone's like spirit, you know?
It was hard to watch.
It was hard to watch.
I mean, he knows it too.
Like
it's just
when somebody just completely shuts down.
And like, here's the thing.
Like, we're used to Kyle and Carl, who are like really good.
at being
men who don't run away from conflict on the show.
Let me just preface that with on the show.
Personal lives can't speak for that as much.
But
then you have like West and Jesse, where Wes kind of
just is not into the conflict, especially publicly.
And I'm like, come on, man.
Say anything.
Yeah.
Say anything.
Jesse's a little bit better at it, but still is not
a girl.
It's a big conflict.
Is he dating the new girl?
I don't know.
What would Jesse?
He's so cute.
I love him so much.
He was a great addition to the show.
Yeah,
I really got a lot closer with
honestly everyone this summer.
Well, that was a question that I had because it was really hard for Jackie and I to watch that scene between you and Paige, the conversation about the game.
It's like Kim and Taylor.
It's like our two favorites
are not getting along and we have to find resolution.
What happened with the Paige photo shoot?
I feel like that was not dug into on the reunion and if it was they didn't air because there was not i have no idea what carl is even talking about and i was like you are such a liar i can't even deal with it i don't even know what photo to this day i have no idea what photo shoot i don't even know how to sabotage how do you even sabotage a photo shoot you go steal the photographer's lens i feel like that was
manipulating people to turn on you and like That was so frustrating to watch because I didn't believe it for a second.
I feel like right before that, Carl had been proved to have been a liar.
He had lied like three times on that couch.
Yeah.
Now, if Carl says Lindsey sabotage your photo shoot, why are we believing it?
No, here's what happened.
So I did that big us weekly spread, you know, with my side of the story after the breakup.
It came out right before BravoCon.
It really pissed off Carl.
He then was, went to Paige and was like,
you know, talking all this shit and spewing all these lies at BravoCon about something that literally never happened.
And in fact, my best friend, I guess that photo shoot was at my best friend, one of her venues.
Yeah.
And
she's the one who approved it.
I'm like, what are you talking about?
Yeah, that whole thing made no sense.
Oh, so you're saying my best friend called me and was like, hey, by the way, like Paige is doing a photo shoot at one of my venues.
And I'm like, hey, cool, sounds good, whatever.
And now you're turning that into like me sabotaging a photo shoot.
I don't even know where the photo shoot was.
Right.
That was really frustrating.
That was Jackie.
I'm so glad we just brought that up.
What other lingering questions do we have?
We watched that reunion, like seriously, eagle-eyed.
We were not on our phones.
It was so impressive how you handled yourself because I've never been in that situation.
But when I have a conversation with like a friend, I'll start crying.
Like, I'm really, it's so scary.
And for you to have taken on all those people at once, like Danielle, and that still lingering story about, oh, that's what was so crazy.
Thank you.
I'm so glad I just reminded myself.
You were blamed.
You were blamed for that Craig thing, Elite Daily,
that Craig was kicked out of Kyla and Amanda's wedding.
Somebody leaked that story, and for years, people have said it was you.
For years.
Did you, you didn't know it was Danielle, but Danielle admitted it on the reunion that it was.
No, I knew.
Oh, you did.
But you didn't know Daniel.
I did.
I knew for years.
You told Paige it was Danielle.
In the kitchen.
Yes, but I had been blamed for years
for years for it.
And you just took it.
You were like, it wasn't me, but okay.
At the reunion before the season seven reunion, that came up, that topic about
Paige was like, you leaked the story.
And I was like, no, I didn't.
And I was waiting for Danielle to say anything.
And she didn't.
And like, that's the thing is, like, all these people are like, you threw Danielle under the bus.
I'm like, no.
No.
In fact, I took the blame.
She threw you under the bus for years.
That was for years.
And I had taken the blame for it.
And I was so annoyed that everyone was like, you threw your friend under the bus.
I was like, no, I was just tired of taking the blame and I didn't do it.
You got out from under the bus yourself.
And I wanted to clear my name.
That was far and away her worst moment, and really like a bad look.
And I do think that it left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths, especially people who had rode for her last season with the uh, you know, you're moving too fast, the engagement party shenanigans, with that really kind of crazy behavior.
No, yeah, that was frustrating, but we're good.
Me and Danielle are, you know, water under the bridge or bus, whatever.
Is there anyone you're like really not on good terms with right now?
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
It always happens this way.
You think you have a great summer and then like, you know, people start doing press and interviews and we go in for confessionals and you're like, what?
Yeah.
So have you filmed all the confessionals for this upcoming season or no?
No.
When did you film them?
We filmed them for like the rest of the year, like all the way through until like April.
Yeah.
They really put you to work.
Last season.
No, legitimately, I remember last year, my first confessional was three weeks after the breakup.
And I walked in crying.
I couldn't even get through the confessional.
I was crying.
I was, we couldn't get my makeup on.
I,
it was just terrible.
Imagine sitting in that chair after that.
Yeah.
And then reliving.
and having to talk about how you can't wait to marry your best friend.
And then you're like, but three weeks ago,
yeah, he just broke my heart.
So that's such a trip.
But yeah,
I mean, this year, I don't know.
I've been kind of in this really giggly, happy place and like really funny.
Like, I don't know what it is about this pregnancy.
This baby is just making me like quick.
That's it.
Like, quick on my feet, which is weird because the other side of my brain is like dumb as fuck.
Like, brain talk.
I've like half pregnancy brain
on half of my brain.
And then the other side is really quick.
That is so funny.
Well, that makes makes the TV beautiful.
Yeah.
Oh, and you know, we were talking about you on the toast the other day because you shared that, like, you've kind of gained the like your doctor had said that, like, you've pretty much maxed out on how much weight you should gain.
I thought that was like a really relatable thing to share.
I think that happens to a lot of people.
Can you tell us a little bit about that?
Yeah, so I, and by the way, when I posted that, everyone was so sweet and like sharing their stories, and it made me feel better because some people gain a lot of weight in the beginning and then level out towards the end.
It's just everyone's different.
But I, yeah, I've gained
at that point was like 40 pounds.
Now I'm looking at like 46, 47.
I don't know.
But I
no, I love that you shared numbers.
I feel like everyone talks about it vaguely, but like you're just dropping numbers.
Like it's honestly inspiring and like I think makes a lot of people like just feel very like seen.
Okay, here's the thing.
I was so thin after my breakup.
I had lost so much weight that I almost almost feel like my body was like getting to a normal weight.
But also,
I'm just, I've been enjoying myself.
Of course.
As you should.
The girls.
I'm not necessarily like
super worried, but now I have to start worrying because I'm on the cusp of potential
gestational diabetes.
That's where it's like the fun kind of stops.
Yeah, so now I'm going to have to go on a low-carb diet and eat like chicken and broccoli every night, but that's okay.
I actually love chicken and broccoli.
I know, me too.
It's like my favorite.
I'm totally fine with it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
My boyfriend's like, I'll do it with you.
And I was like, oh, okay.
I love him.
I know.
He's really sweet.
And that's every appointment with me.
He does not miss an appointment.
And this is someone you dated previously and you reconnected with.
Yeah.
So I, we date at the end of 2020.
Okay.
So it was like still COVID, weird times.
Like, I think we met in October,
kind of set up, kind of not at zero bond.
I went with a girlfriend, he went with a guy friend, and then our friends were mutuals.
I love that.
Yeah, it was like a little meet, meet cute.
We went on three or four dates and then
he broke things off because he, it was just bad timing.
He was super, super focused on work.
He was traveling a bunch.
It was the holidays.
It was COVID.
It was just, I don't know, bad timing.
So
he broke things off, but he was so respectful about it that I couldn't even be mad.
Yeah.
And then three years later, last December, he reaches back out, and I was like, whoa.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
I did not expect to ever hear from him ever again.
Like, that's what happens.
You date, and then when things don't work out, you just like never talk to him.
Yeah, about them again.
Yeah, you get the file.
Like, bye.
Like, I didn't know you before.
I don't know you now.
Yeah.
And here we are three years later out of the blue.
He texted me and I was like,
okay,
interesting.
Why now?
Right.
But I think think it was that same friend that invited him to that dinner three years ago that encouraged him
to text me.
And I put him on ice for about a month.
It was also December.
I was closing on my house in Nashville.
It's the holidays.
And then in like mid-January, I was like, okay.
We can go to lunch.
Not the lunch.
Yeah.
And then how long into dating him did you find out you were pregnant?
Into dating.
I found out I was pregnant in April.
Okay.
So I guess three months later.
No, I'm obsessed.
I feel like
so happy for you.
And I also think that it's really nice to see someone like really never give up on the things that they wanted, right?
Like you're kind of a hopeless romantic.
Like you always knew you wanted to get married, have a husband, have kids.
And I think for a while you thought maybe your story wasn't going to end that way.
And then to see it end this like really beautiful way, it's just, I love it.
Like it gives me chills.
Yeah, thank you.
I really think the universe had such a strong play in the last year of my life in such a big way because
for being such a non-traditional,
unconventional girl,
I think my goals were always a little bit more aligned with a traditional lifestyle with like the engagement, marriage, babies.
And then, yeah, my breakup, I was like, what?
the hell?
Like I am 37 staring on the barrel of like being single and starting over.
And it was just like, oh my God.
And then out of nowhere you know my boyfriend comes back around and then we start dating and by the way I had a roster but
of course I he made it easy to clear that roster right right right
um
so yeah and then like next thing you know boom I'm pregnant and I just all I could think about was like this is so weird like I was with Carl for two years Yeah, I never got pregnant with him.
Like it wasn't like we were exactly being super safe.
Right.
You know, and
yeah, I don't know.
I, I, I think, like, in my mind,
the engagement and the marriage and the babies in that order was that fairy tale life that I always dreamt of.
And then when I think about it now, I think, no, like this, this is what I always dreamt of is like the family and the babies.
And like, if the guys,
if it works out, then it's great.
Yep.
And I hope it does.
Like, I really do hope that it works out with him and that there is the word forever attached with our relationship.
But if not, like, I got my fairy tale.
Totally.
I love that.
It has been so fabulous not only talking with you, but just watching your journey.
We cannot wait to just watch what Hubhouse gets herself into.
Yeah, no, literally.
I feel like I just step and shit everywhere I go.
And it's like accidental great TV.
I'm like, I don't know how this happened to me.
By the way, it's so true because you say things and I don't even think you realize like how iconic they are when you're saying them.
Of course, how many sandwiches have you made me?
Like, you're saying that you didn't think that was going to become like a line.
And then here you are, we're talking about it eight years later.
That was so funny.
Like, seriously?
No, it was kind of crazy.
It was, but you are just, you're a character.
You're so, this is our first time meeting in person.
You are so, so nice.
We are so happy to have had you on the show.
and like kicking off this we literally like stopped having guests on the show like a year ago.
We were like, we just can't do it anymore, but we needed to talk to you.
Oh my gosh.
Well, I needed to talk to you guys desperately.
I was like, hi.
Yeah, we've been DMing Lindsay.
Like, so glad we were able to do this.
Thank you for coming.
Make sure to follow Lindsay on social media.
What's her Instagram?
Lynn's Hubbs.
Lindsay Hubbs, all the baby content.
Yes.
And Hubhouse in Nashville.
Which, by the way, next time we go to Nashville, we are staying at Hubhouse.
No, 100%.
You need to book it.
No, book it.
Let's do a girls' trip.
Honestly, yes.
