Oh, hello.

Lovely to see you again.

My name is David K.

Barnes and I used to write this series, Wooden Overcoats, a sitcom about rival undertakers on a channel island.

Our first episode was released in September 2015.

Good lord.

You know, some of you were listening to us when you were still at school.

And now you've grown up, made friends, and you're out there saving the world.

You're very busy people.

Well, anyway, those of you with long memories and short trousers will recall that wooden overcoats finished a few years ago.

We all of us bid a fun farewell to Rudyard, Antigone, Georgie, Chapman, Madeline, and everyone else on the island of Piffling.

And I missed them very much.

David, right, no one, you're up to.

But I swore that I would never undo that ending or take us back there to see how things turned out afterwards.

And I still haven't.

But

it is our birthday.

It's our 10th anniversary.

And I think we ought to mark that somehow.

So...

How about one more trip to Piffling Vale?

For old time's sake.

Oh,

go on then, you twisted my arm.

For one episode, for one night, Wooden Overcoats is back.

On September the 7th, 2025, which is really very soon, we'll be at King's Place in London.

for Wooden Overcoats live and we've got something pretty extraordinary up our sleeves.

It's a brand new episode.

Never seen before, never heard before.

Rudyard ruins everything.

It's a bumper-link special set during the middle years of the series, and it starts when Rudyard tries to combine a birthday party and a funeral.

Little does he know, but it's going to kick off a truly astonishing chain of events.

Will Piffling Vale ever recover?

And is there really such a thing as a haunted kettle?

Well, you can find out for yourself at King's Place on September the 7th as Felix Trench, Beth Ayer, Tom Crowley, Kira Baxendale, Alice Osmansky and Andy Seacombe take to the stage again to help us celebrate our 10th birthday in style.

We've actually sold so many tickets already that we've been given a bigger room.

So bring all your friends and family to hall one at King's Place to see how Rodyard ruins everything before your very eyes.

And if you can't get to London you do not need to worry.

Just grab yourself a streaming ticket and you'll be able to join the party anywhere in the world.

Watch us perform the show live or see it on catch-up.

You can find tickets for the show on the King's Place website or you can go to our own website and social media and get there that way.

It's going to be amazing.

And if you're as excited about this as we are, Ben, please spread the word.

Tell everyone, and we do mean everyone.

We want to make this the biggest birthday party ever and we need your help to do it.

We're wooden overcoats, but you have always been the show.

Book your tickets now

because we are going back to Piffling.

See you there.

Mike and Alyssa are always trying to outdo each other.

When Alyssa got a small water bottle, Mike showed up with a four-litre jug.

When Mike started gardening, Alyssa started beekeeping.

Oh, come on.

They called a truce for their holiday and used Expedia Trip Planner to collaborate on all the details of their trip.

Once there, Mike still did more laps around the pool.

Whatever.

You were made to outdo your holidays.

We were made to help organize the competition.

Expedia, made to travel.
