Good morning, Millennials.
Welcome back to the chose and happy.
What is it?
Oh, it's Wednesday.
Okay.
Okay.
Which beautifully for me feels like a Monday because I'm back at home and yesterday night like felt like a Sunday.
So I'm kind of jazzed about that.
We're happy for you.
It doesn't feel like that for us, but okay.
Like hack your own week.
Even though I worked, it's not even like I didn't work Monday, Tuesday.
So just a little week hack.
It'll be something.
I'm sorry to be so negative.
I just need to tell everyone like I'm having a fucking terrible terrible morning.
Like, I just feel like shit.
And I'm so annoyed because yesterday was probably the best I've felt in months.
And I was ready to come on the show and be like, I'm out of it.
You guys, I cracked the code.
I actually did a workout yesterday.
I stayed up late till 10 o'clock.
Oh my God.
I feel like I've been hit by a bus.
I am not okay.
And I'm in a fucking bad mood about it.
So I'm just letting everyone know that if you're like, Claudia's being so negative today, well, I'm dealing with a lot.
Eat my fucking ass, bitch.
Claudia is not feeling well.
So the physical symptoms, we can't help you with.
You're at the toast.
You know, you're going to have that to journey.
You have to walk on your own.
But like
the bad emotional symptoms, that's what we do here.
I know.
I know.
And I'll feel better as I feel.
You'll not feel better throughout the show.
So I'm excited for that for you.
It's just like, can I not have a moment of peace?
And I know everyone's like so tired of me complaining all the time.
I'm sorry.
Like, this is what I'm dealing with.
Like, it is what it is.
Understood.
Well, we're foolish lema to turdy.
Thank you.
So you're having flu-like symptoms, you say?
No, mate.
Just like, I'm tired.
Oh, and you know what?
I got into bed last night.
I'm like, you know what?
I'm doing it.
What are we doing?
I'm sleeping without a bra.
Like, I'm just so sick of the bras like touching my skin.
Okay.
But my boobs are so big and so heavy.
And let me tell you, mistake of the century.
If you're thinking about sleeping without a bra, don't fucking do it.
I actually think my body is aching from the weight of my breasts being carried all night.
Jackie, I was up all night.
And like, God forbid, I just got up.
I couldn't get up.
Like, it felt like bricks on my chest.
It was such a bad idea.
And I feel like my entire disposition is due to the fact that I slept without a bra.
Interesting.
I feel like you need a looser bra for sleeping.
Like, you need to, of course.
No, like, I love the Hatch maternity bras.
It's like as close as you can get to, like, not wearing a bra, but it's something.
And those are really great.
You could, why don't you borrow one while you're here?
You could take one.
Maybe I just drive.
I just.
I still wear them.
I feel like there's a girl out there who's pregnant and thinking about sleeping without a bra tonight.
Like, don't fucking do it.
I'm telling you, it will take me a week to recover.
I think that's really the cause of what I'm feeling.
Like for me.
Well, luckily for you, you're coming here tomorrow, which the journey, I don't envy you with your sickness, but I was planning on making a chicken soup today.
So you would have Pargi lit.
You don't like this.
I know how I feel.
Okay, what about this?
Like, I'm going to make a chicken soup so that I have tasty, I'll pluck out the chicken for you and noodles.
No, no, okay.
Like, I don't like soup.
Although, if I am like forced to partake, I do prefer matzo ball.
Okay, I've never made matzo ball.
But I learned frozen ones.
I can learn.
I could learn anything.
But I can learn.
Like, if Turdy needs matzo ball soup.
Jackie, what's that from?
Law and Order.
Oh, my God.
It's like this random episode of Law and Order for some reason.
Us as kids, like we quoted all the time.
I don't even know.
Is she like a mom?
No, I thought she was a child.
But she wanted to raise a kid and she was like, but I can learn.
That's really sad.
Olivia wouldn't know.
Olivia was really struck by by the episode, and that's why we started going to the bottom.
Learn how to make matzo balls.
But I can learn.
Yeah, learn.
Well, not if you're not in the mood for soup.
I'm not in the mood for soup, but I am in the mood to be at your house.
Like, that sounds nice.
This is a good thing.
We'll take good care of you here.
It is one fucking degree.
Like, it is so cold.
I'm ready.
What is the degree there?
In the 30s.
We hit the 30s.
We hit a new decade.
We're in the 60s, which welcome to the 60s.
oh oh oh oh oh
go jackie go go go like it's so cold for here it's so amazing yeah that's nice so okay i do have some things to look forward to life is worth living plus you're coming here then we've got gizno on sunday and it's gonna be a really big next few days i feel like we're acting like it's not i feel like we're acting like girls who don't have stuff going on but we've got a lot going on and like it kills me that like we have stuff going on that we can't share you know what i'm saying
i know know we've got some big things brewing.
Yeah.
So we'll just like have to wait a year until we can tell you.
Just have to leave it at that and really annoy you guys.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I'm so, oh, by the way, today's Spotify rapped.
Speaking of annoying, let me tell you, and I know that I'm not saying this because I'm in a bad mood.
I'm saying this because I really fucking feel that way.
Like, please stop.
Okay, you're, everyone is allowed to share one screenshot from their Spotify rapped, whether you want to share what song you listen to the most, who your favorite art it was.
I don't care which fucking one you choose.
You get one.
People like doing an analysis on their fucking Instagram story.
Okay, yours was funny because Billy Eichner being in your top five, I'll allow it.
Two because
nobody's is that interesting.
Yours is probably the most interesting one can be, and it wasn't even that interesting.
Okay, I'm sick of it.
Like, you get one.
I posted one.
Flexia, like, not only is Taylor Swift my number one artist, she's four out of five of my top songs.
Like, some of you bitches, not to call out snitch, have Taylor Swift as your number one artist, and she's not even on your top five songs.
Like, please, everybody gets one.
Oh, and by the way, explain how that makes sense.
For the second year in a row, I just want to say Spotify rapped is no longer factual.
I don't know what the angle is, but Claudia, how many times, even when you're here, how many times we listen to We Know the Way from Moana?
I can tell you how many times.
In the Hamptons.
I can tell you how many times because I literally know every word to that terrible fucking song.
Right.
Not only is that not even on my 100 playlist.
It's not on my playlist of my top songs of 2024.
Lynn Manuel should have been my number one artist.
Meanwhile, my number two song, Hakuna Matata, which is by four people, including Billie Eichner, and now Billie Eichner is my number four artist, beating out Sabrina Carpenter, Shabuzi, Casey Musgraves.
It's a lie.
It's lies.
I'm feeling as though it's no longer data-driven.
It's not data-driven.
This bluey song is my number one song.
We listened to that for three weeks.
Now, I just want to say, it's a 30-second song, so we played it on repeat so many times.
So probably the length of an, we played it six times for every one time we would listen to another song, but that was not the number one song.
The number one song was We Know the Way, and the number two songs were Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and my number one artist should have been Fallout Boy because we listened to that album on repeat.
It's lies.
Yeah, I think when you have kids, like it definitely, mine felt data-driven.
I'm going to say that.
I felt completely represented in the data.
But also, you know, as a creator on Spotify, because we release our episodes, you also get your own Spotify rapped, like sharing stats about how many countries were the podcasts was listening to.
And I felt like this year they really phoned in and they usually give really good tea, like about like what other podcasts you're beating.
Like good shit.
This one was so boring.
Like, I didn't even screenshot anything to send to you.
Like, there was nothing of note.
Yeah.
Spotify rapped is is not what it used to be.
It's not.
And I just like, I seriously need everyone, like, not to be so mean, but like, we're in this group chat with a bunch of our friends, and everybody was like sending screenshots this morning.
And I literally wanted to draw, like, you guys, nobody fucking cares.
Like, it's so uninteresting to me.
Even if you're like, my lover, the love of my life, Ben, I don't give a fuck.
Like, seriously, people are so self-involved when it comes to Spotify rap thinking that anybody gives a shot.
Okay, what about all the people who tag us that the toast was their number one listen to podcast?
So that was the next point I wanted to make because I've made the decision this year.
You know, it's like always a flex.
Like so many people tell, I mean, this morning I already have like over 100 mentions.
Like how many people tag us that we're their number one podcast of the year?
And it's so flattering.
And every year I'm like always sharing them and like flexing on the other podcasters, but it's annoying.
And I've decided I'm not going to partake this year, but I do want everyone to know like my DMs are flooded.
Like everyone's flat.
My DMs are flooded.
I don't have plans to repost everyone, but I'm going to see how other people's reposts make me feel.
Like if I'm hating watching them or I'm like, oh, this is like so fun.
I want to get involved.
Maybe I'll repost it.
I want to, I want to read the room a little bit, but I just want to to say i give a couple fucks about spotify rap there are a couple things that are interesting and our first story which is the top streamed artists of the year which is incredibly telling and then i think there are people who like pretend to like certain things because it's like cool and edgy and meanwhile like your number one played artist is taylor swift and like you're you're not listening to martinez brothers like you say you are no not only that especially with the tailor stuff it's really interesting like to see people who like may tailor their personality acted like they've been tailor fans
their entire life they go to eras like like mostly like content creators and influencers and it's like she's not even on your rapt because you were never a fan that is an interesting part of spotify rapped but do you find this i find this and it's so funny and i get it by the way this is not shady like i get tagged in a lot of like people sharing whatever their podcast and it's funny to see like what the other podcast swirlies will repost they'll only repost when they're number one and it's like right making a point so i'm like bitch Let me post something so let everyone know I'm number one.
And by the way, it's not shady at all.
Tinks did this morning and she actually put us as number one, like with her podcast below.
But I have found over the years, like the swirlies are only resharing when they're number one, like showing everybody else is below me.
Pitch, I do the same thing.
I mean, of course, and I also ultimately share when like number one, Toast, two, Redheads, three, good guys, guys, four, Shannon, like, and it's just TNN mania.
Yeah, TNN mania.
I saw a couple of those.
So just though, I'm watching every single one of your stories that you're tagging me in, but I'm not re-sharing it because I don't want to be annoying.
I haven't watched them yet.
So when I watch them, I'll see how they make me feel.
Cause also some people write nice stuff.
So I might do a little bit of resharing.
Who knows what's in the cards.
And then also another interesting thing about Spotify rap that I did find to be factual.
Oh,
Taylor Swift was my number one artist.
I know everyone thinks I hate Taylor Swift.
So I just need to say that.
And they told me.
Everybody does think you hate Taylor Swift.
Like, I literally have been a fan of her since Daisy High School.
You bitches could never.
You weren't even born.
It's so fucking true, Jackie.
Keep yelling at everyone.
I love that.
And Spotify said, I'm in the top 4% of Taylor Swift listeners.
And that feels right.
I know I'm not the one.
I'm not a crazy Swifty who leaves her album on repeat while I'm sleeping so she could get streams.
Like, I, but I'm, I'm not 50% of my Finny 5.
I'm 4%.
I'm a big fucking fan, but I'm not the 1%, 2%.
I was.
I was 0.05% top Taylor listeners.
And if anybody's interested,
I did stream, I think it was like 25,000 minutes of Taylor.
I feel like you need to share that stat so the other bitches know.
Yeah.
Like I'm getting
how real you are.
Cause it's not, maybe you don't even listen to Spotify so much and like you just listen to Taylor's album to hear it.
And so for her to be your number one artist isn't that big of a deal.
But to be compared to the other Swifties and to emerge is 0.5%.
0.05, Jackie.
That's a little scary.
Why is Margo?
I don't know.
I keep looking to see if anyone is like bigger than me.
I don't know if they go lower than 0.05 because it's literally less than 1%.
I don't know.
But yeah, it does feel good.
And I think that like, especially in recent years, it's it's kind of become like a form of social currency to be a Taylor Swift fan.
Like you go to the era store, you travel, you wear cute outfits.
And so, some people I feel are definitely phoning it in.
Me and Margo have this one influencer who we literally send back their content.
Text right now.
Text me their name right now.
Do I know who it is?
I don't know, actually.
Okay, it's like it's a multi-platform.
Yeah, I'll tell you later.
You probably don't know this person.
We send back their content back and forth because we know that this person is like a fake Taylor Smith fan and decided one day to be one.
Like, see, I want to see her Spotify rock or his.
Yeah, yeah, I got to check.
Right?
Yeah.
So it's not without its merit, but it's not what it used to be.
I am finding like serious flaws.
There is something like non-even last year, Hot Dog by Mickey Mouse didn't crack top 100.
And like, that was our song of the year in the kids' realm.
So it's not like they're keeping off kids' songs because like my one, two, three, four.
I would think that maybe there are certain kids' songs like Mickey Mouse, like Moana, that they exclude from the algorithm because they're so popular.
You would think so.
They're like, okay, we're trying not to give you a kids Spotify rapped.
However, Bluey as my number one.
And then also last year, Hot Dog was the song we played most for Mickey Mouse.
Donald Trump.
I'm so glad that year is behind us.
Donald went to Courten from the same album was on my top 100, but Hot Dog wasn't.
Make it make sense.
I can't.
It's confounding.
It does not pass muster.
And I do feel that my running of a 5K really influenced my Spotify because that was really like probably the most, the time of year where I listened to the most music and like focused so much on exactly what I I was listening to.
And that's why the songs from TTPD that were in my top, they are my favorites, but they're also the ones that I ran to.
So Who's Afraid of Little Old Me is such a good running song.
Same with I can do it with a broken heart.
So just like it reminds Spotify Unwrapped, Unwrapped?
Wrapped.
Unwrapped is that show from Food Network.
Spotify Unwrapped is actually nice because it reminds you of like things you did this year.
Yeah.
Like when I was going through, they're like, in August, you listened to a lot of old hits.
And that was because we were all in the Hamptons with the family and I was trying to like find music that everybody would appreciate.
So it's nice in that sense.
It's a trip down memory lane.
What was your number one song of the year?
Who's afraid of little old me?
And that I am proud of.
Also, at this point, whenever I like a song, I like it.
I add it to my like songs and I only listen to my like songs.
So my top 100 Spotify playlist is just my like songs playlist and I'm not having fun anymore.
And literally in the same order, like I'm bored.
Can I tell you something?
And when they were like, Your number one song of the year is, I 100% thought it was going to be, be, I love you for, I love you for life.
I do think it's obviously less competitive.
I definitely am in the 1% of top listeners of Katy Perry's new album.
I'm surprised she wasn't in my rapt at all.
I listened to like those four songs, Wonder, Lifetimes, Woman's World, 7,000 times.
Yeah.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
Like, no, no, sorry.
I don't know if that's true because it wasn't in my life.
I'm saying that's even a lot.
Like, I know I listened to, I listened to Woman's World a lot.
All the other songs from her album that I did add to my like songs because I like them, I eventually took off because I couldn't listen to them anymore.
Oh my god, you're so wrong for that.
Those four songs, like not the album, just those four songs are in Crayob.
No, they, they, they don't pass mustard like when you listen to them too much for me, but obviously not for you.
Can I say something?
Hmm.
This is a safe space.
The safest.
You know, we had this big moment yesterday with mustard, right?
It was the title.
Everybody was like loving past mustard.
They thought it was like the best part of the episode.
And I think that people are expecting it to, you know, now join Toasty Vernacular.
I have something, I hate the phrase, like something about it's because it sounds like mustard.
Yes, and you know I hate mustard.
You don't like mustard.
But like, I am not feeling naturally inclined to start throwing it into my everyday life.
Like, you don't have to.
I don't like it.
Okay, don't do it.
That's not why I brought it up.
I just don't like it.
Okay.
Does it offend you if I say it?
Honestly,
yeah.
That's unforged for you because I can't be silenced.
That's unforged for you.
I I can't be censored.
But good to know.
Good to know.
Good to know.
Yeah.
That
it does not pass muster.
I feel like today's episode is going to be like a lot about the numbers.
Toasted by the numbers.
The first story will be by the numbers.
The rest are just, you know, normal celeb fodder.
We didn't get to chat, but there was a couple of things I wanted to make sure you included.
So let me just run by.
Did you include Sabrina Carpenter as a story?
I did.
Are you familiar with the lore of like the creator who is a part of this?
No, no.
She's like a a streamer.
Okay, I'll give you the tape.
Okay.
Second thing, Billboard announcing their number one.
Well, that was going to be kind of in the numbers.
That's fine.
I think it should be a part of conversation number one if they announced it.
Okay, okay, so that's it.
That's it.
Okay, great.
Yeah.
So now, without further ado, do to do, here are the Fast Five stories that you need to know.

What can I
say?
What can I say?
Except you're welcome.
Also, not on my top 100 when real ones know
that it's there.
Bad.
Our first story.
Taylor Swift has been named Spotify's most streamed artist for 2024 with over 26 billion streams.
So as we shared, Spotify Rapt is here, you know, on an individual level, but a collective level as well.
Right.
And I forget that there's like, you know, general stats that get released as well.
Right.
So.
Spotify's global head of editorial announced the top streamed artist globally of the year for the second year in a row is Miss Taylored with more than 26.6 billion streams globally this year.
If only I knew really what a stream meant, you know?
I know.
It's just a lot.
TTPD came out this year, right?
Of course.
And then Midnights came out.
Okay.
So for her to, I guess last year have like not released an album and still been the number one streaming artist because Midnights came out in 2022.
That's really impressive.
I think this bodes well for, you know, Taylor's business and things.
And the reason why I brought up the Beyonce thing is because we've been talking, I feel like everybody's been talking about Billboard announcing their big list of the world's greatest pop stars and who's number one, who's number one.
And they announced yesterday that number one was Beyonce.
It accompanied this big, long article with all of her, you know, cultural impact and, you know, statements on her 25-year-long history.
And the article actually opened up.
So there were, I think, like 14 or 15 mentions of Taylor Swift.
in Beyonce's Billboard article, which like, seriously, if I'm Beyonce, I'm mad.
No, I'd rather, seriously, I'd rather have second place than first where every caveat is about Taylor.
And the first paragraph of the whole fucking article ends with literally a statement that says, well, yes, if you're going to go by the numbers, streams and radio and airplay, if you want to get technical, Taylor Swift is the biggest.
But we think Beyonce is because of her impact on culture.
Yeah.
I would be mad.
Yeah, actually in their opening argument for explaining why they chose Beyonce, they actually made a really great case for Taylor.
I didn't even realize Taylor had all these accolades.
And what it really came down to, they said like cultural impact, but also Beyonce has taken up more of this, of the quarter century because like literally she's older and Taylor didn't come into the game till like Beyonce's amusing 10 years later.
For 25 years, Taylor's been making music for 17.
So like they got her on a technicality.
Like just because she's older, okay, I'm older.
And then they're like, and she has like great music videos and photo shoots.
I'm like, photo shoots.
Yeah, they there's definitely a case for Beyonce to have been number one.
Like it's such a subjective thing, but but the article was like literally written by a Swift.
Like, it was written by somebody who wanted to cast doubt on Beyonce.
It was such a negative article.
No, they, they wanted to address everything that everyone was going to say in response to this.
And in doing that, they like they invalidated their argument.
Right.
And then this is also really interesting.
So Spotify's most streamed artists of 2024 globally were announced.
Taylor's number one, obviously.
And now just like, I hate to compare, but like Billboard fucking did this to us.
Yeah.
And like we, everyone's always like, don't compare the two greatest women.
Like, why do we, why?
I wasn't going to be.
It was like, it was Billboard who did this because now, like, I'm like, oh, Taylor was number one, but she's number two.
Who number one?
So where's Beyonce?
Beyonce was the number 41 most artist stream of the year globally.
And she had an album come out this year, a big album.
Okay, so that's what's so crazy about it because not every year is going to be number one.
That's totally fine.
But if it's a year that you released an album and your cultural impact is what Billboard says it is, like you're, okay, maybe you're not going to be number one.
You'll be in top five, certainly top 10.
So to be number 41 is actually really crazy.
So yeah, now now i'm looking at beyonce critically no now i'm really i never was i'm really suss now i would have never thought much about this and if if we weren't having this beyonce taylor conversation i might not even noticed or made noticed number 41 on the list but like that's really crazy i thought people like listened to cowboy carter i did was it in your time
because i listened to it on release week and that's i think how you know like the real difference between like an album and an album that feels like
i mean i we listen to it we all listen when it's released you listen to hear it but like were people listening to it on retail
I listened to it to hear it but then like I listened to it for like a week or two after too like I
digested it there are albums from this year Sabrina Taylor that I am still actively listening to that came out months and months and months ago I haven't really picked up Cowboy Carter since like two weeks past its release right so
it sounds like some other people didn't either now the party line on social media from like Swifties mostly and people who just don't agree with that Beyonce should be number one is that Jay-Z, you know, cut a check to Billboard to make Beyonce number one.
Now, I
don't think that's true.
Me neither.
Like, one, I don't think it's like feasible.
That's not how these things work.
But also, like, even if he could, like, do I think Beyonce, Jay-Z give a flying fuck what Billboard magazine said in some random article?
No, and like, why does this?
I doubt, I doubt why.
Why do they know that this list?
Why does this Billboard list have everyone in a Tizzy?
Like, on the one hand, I feel like they really stepped in it and regret ever doing it because everybody hates them.
But on the other hand, like, we've never been talking about Billboard more and like their editorial department.
So I can't tell if this is a win.
Like it's like no
press is good press, but we're not talking about them favorably.
But like seriously, this list that's never come out before has everyone in a chokehold about its fairness.
Yeah.
No, and people are also pointing out, it feels like
so many people were left off the list.
I didn't even realize until I saw it on Liz Wood's story.
Pink?
Right.
Where's pink on this list?
Now, we know Kelly Clarkson was left off the list, but we're used to people like, you know, taking advantage of our girl and sleeping on her.
Pink?
Yeah.
Pop star, but you'll put on a bunch of people who are not pop stars.
Correct.
You put on bands, which is literally the opposite of a pop star.
Right.
Let's go through most artists stream globally because it's just interesting.
Number one.
Oh.
And the other thing, sorry, because you reminded me globally, and I think this might be why Beyonce is so low on this list, is that
one of the critiques that I've seen of Beyonce and why she shouldn't have been number one so much is that like, we know Beyonce, right?
And we know Taylor.
And Taylor is to us what she is to a fan in Sweden.
Like her cultural impact is really uniform throughout the globe.
And what people had said is like Beyonce actually doesn't have that.
Big of a carry in other countries.
Oh, really?
Why she might be lower on that list?
I would be curious, did they release a US list?
Probably, but I only have a global one.
I'm going to find the the U.S.
one.
Up in front of me.
So, number one, Taylor, number two, The Weekend.
It's always surprising how high up he is.
I know.
And that's always consistent year after year.
It's consistent.
I've never sought out his music, but I know a lot of it.
Like, that's impact.
Yeah, no, but he has like dot, like, you only get to this level if you have like serious, serious fans, and he just does,
whether we are them or not.
It's so crazy.
Number three, Bad Bunny.
Number four, Drake.
Five, Billie Eilish.
Six, Travis Scott.
Seven, Peso Pluma.
eight, Kanye West, nine, Ariana Grande, ten, Fide.
Then just skipping down to the people, if you're wondering where they are, number 19, Sabrina, number 20, Post Malone, 23, Rihanna.
It's crazy that Sabrina had the number one most streamed song.
Espresso was the most streamed song, but she's number 19.
I believe the numbers here.
Yeah, me too.
Also, the other artists have like years and years of albums people are listening to.
For Sabrina, like if they're just listening to one song, it doesn't count towards like a lot of minutes.
By the way, so the top 10 artists in the U.S., I don't know if they release Beyond 10, but Beyoncé is not in the top 10 for the U.S.
Okay.
But Metro Boomin is.
Metro Boomin is number 17 globally.
I don't know who that is, but I think I'm old.
Also, Zach Bryan's 24 and Morgan Wallin's 28.
I thought that was interesting.
Say it again.
Zach Bryan is number 24 globally.
Oh, I thought you meant age.
Oh, no, number 24 globally.
Zach Bryan, he's the biggest country artist globally.
And number 28.
He doesn't identify as
country.
Is Morgan Wallen, who I thought was the biggest country artist globally?
Morgan Wallen did not release an album this year.
Zach Bryan did.
Okay.
And Luke Holmes isn't on this list, which is like kind of disgraceful that you guys aren't spending your time listening to him.
The top 10 podcast in the U.S.
is interesting in the sense that there are a couple of people on here I've never heard of.
And Theo Vaughn is the third most popular podcast.
On Spotify.
Oh, right.
On Spotify, which is true, but like, have you ever heard of Smosh Reed's Reddit stories?
No, but will you read the top 10 podcasts?
Let's guess.
You guessed.
Number one, Joe Rogan.
Correct.
Number two, maybe armchair expert.
No.
The Daily.
No, but they both are on this list.
Okay.
Give me a category.
Comedy or news?
Swirly.
Swirly?
Number two, swirly?
Yeah.
Call her daddy.
You're forgetting.
Yeah.
Okay.
Number three, Theo Vaughn, you said.
Number four, armchair expert?
No.
You're thinking like shows that we literally have heard of.
Like, we've heard of this one, but like, it's really not our thing.
So it's news?
Crime junkie.
No.
Crime junkie.
Yes.
Five
armchair experts.
No, because the other lady.
Yes.
Yeah.
Six.
Arm chunky.
You're never going to guess this one.
Okay, tell me.
I literally didn't even know this person had a podcast.
Bill Maher?
No, similar.
Jon Stewart.
No.
Think,
take a right turn.
Ben Shapiro.
A little more right.
More.
Megan Kelly?
More.
Oh, not Huberman.
No, no.
Keep going right.
I bet you don't know this person on this podcast.
I'm Carlson.
Yes.
Are we up to eight?
You're up to seven.
And so someone you've mentioned?
Armchairs?
No.
Ben Shapiro.
No.
Who else did I mention?
Megan Kelly.
We talked about him a lot this year.
And I already mentioned Bill Maher, Tim Dylan?
Hubermeister.
Oh, Huberman.
Sorry.
Okay.
Yep.
Number nine.
Eight, you're up to?
Oh, just
Armchair X.
Yes.
Yay.
And then nine and ten are the shows I hadn't heard of.
Smash Reads, Reddit Stories, and The Sean Ryan Show.
Okay.
Cool.
That's fun.
I love stats like this.
And it sounds like people are having fun with their podcasts.
Sort of.
Oh, and you know, Apple Music did like their own.
It's called Apple Music Replay.
Taylor was also the number one artist, but I'm really not interested in that.
I would won Apple's podcast.
Yes, I actually would love that because that's where most people listen to podcasts.
Yeah, so that would be interesting.
I'm not interested in their music.
Like, yeah.
It's just no.
Yeah.
So that's the year in music.
It was a very good year.
It was a good year, and it reminded me because the only song in my top five that wasn't children's music was We Can't Be Friends by Ariana Grande.
And I just want to say, I love that song.
I'm listening to it again, having a renaissance.
And she was snubbed by the Grammys.
The amount of streams on that song, it's like over a billion compared to other songs that were nominated that didn't have that.
And I feel like when they were doing the nominations, she was kind of out of fashion because of the affair and like people weren't about her.
And like now, everyone's loving her because of Wicked.
And they're like, they were two weeks too late with their too early with their nominations.
Because I feel like if it was now, now they shut Ariana Grande out of the Grammys.
Really want to do that?
She's the biggest star in the world right now.
Cool.
And now she's not going to come.
Yeah, cool.
You played yourself.
For you know, best pop
vocal album.
She should have been nominated for song of the year with that.
That's it.
I don't disagree.
That's it.
I don't disagree.
So you played yourself.
Yeah.
Are you ready for our next story?
I am.
Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Kyogan break up after a year of dating.
Some good news of the day.
Oh my God.
Well, it's so layered.
One, like, let's just talk about the breakup because we have long kind of been advocates against this relationship.
She can do so much better in so many different when he was like having his saltburn moment and everybody was briefly obsessed with him.
And then it turns out like, oh man, he's actually been dating Sabrina Carpenter and she was really on the rise.
I loved it.
After that, like it wasn't working for me.
I just, I don't like it.
Yeah.
So they have been like on and off for a while, but now it's coming out that they've decided to take a break.
So I guess that means like break up and not get back together.
What's the difference between on and off?
I don't know, but this seems final and I'm going to take the win.
But what's the bit that you wanted to share?
So the reason why it seems final is like because something happened.
Like he cheated on Breener.
Loser.
In early November.
Let me tell you the girl.
He cheated on Serenity.
Discussion.
She, she's like a streamer, TikToker, whatever.
This was all on Dumois.
And then like one of the girls' like former friends, Livy Dunn, you know, gymnastics?
Dunn from our family.
She like kind of confirmed it.
She like made a TikTok, like basically saying, you know, when the person you knew sucks, he's like, now everyone knows.
Like she's, everyone's getting involved.
So
this is what
Dumois said.
On the closing night of her biggest tour to date in LA, he was busy getting very cozy at San Vasunde Bungalows with a blonde, semi-famous LA-based influencer who's particularly big on TikTok.
Now, people
did their work and they were doing research, and then the girl kind of confirmed it.
And it was giving very much that girl who said that she had sex with Tommy Fury.
But the only difference was like, this girl wasn't haggard looking.
She's actually very cute.
And like, we wanted Sabrina and Barry to break up and they don't have a kid together.
And that's good.
Who, so she's, and that's a girl who's a streamer.
Wait, I have to find her name.
I don't know why they're making a game.
She's saying streamer like she plays games on the internet
Bright.
What's her name?
Oh, yeah, Brecky Hill.
Yeah, she plays games on the internet.
Um, she's like TikTok.
I saw somewhere that she was a streamer.
I don't really know what that means.
She's a social media personality with over 4 million followers on TikTok.
So maybe she's just a TikToker.
Okay, okay.
Okay.
And she's friends with Libby Dunn.
I think at one point, I think they had like a falling out.
I'm team Libby.
A lot.
When the gossip gained traction, many users on social media began to criticize Hill for seemingly capitalizing on the situation.
She quickly became a focal point in the speculation after she reposted several TikToks
discussing the breakup.
So she was like kind of flexing, like, yeah, look, they broke up and it was me, like reposting these videos.
She shared them shortly after.
She shared them shortly after the rumors began circulating, and then it led to further rumors linking her.
So she's like very subtly confirming and like kind kind of proud of the fact.
And while I didn't want these two to break up, like being a home-wrecking slut, sorry, is nothing to be proud of.
Yeah, like we are still unlike you, but I'm glad they broke up.
And I'm sorry that Breener's going through heartbreak, but you know, it's going to make her stronger.
I just think it's so.
And it's going to lead her to the person she's meant to be with.
You can be Brainer, right?
Top of the world, top of the heap, right?
Literally the most gorgeous girl on the planet, having success like you've never seen.
And you're literally doing charity being with this rat face, ugly man, okay?
And he has the audacity on a night like that's important to you
to step out on you.
No, it's so crazy.
I mean, if you've ever been like cheated on, like, this actually should make you feel good.
Like, there's nothing wrong with you.
Yeah.
No, it's.
It happens to the best of us.
Yeah.
And it's
a gift because it shows you who this person is and it takes you out of this relationship you shouldn't be in.
That's what we're saying.
She should not be with this man.
And so like, so yeah, everything is like moot because we're happy about the, but you know, wrong is wrong.
Yeah.
And right is right.
It's true.
And I'm like, and it shouldn't have gone down this way.
It should have gone down because Sabrina woke up one day and took her goggles off, her Barry goggles, and said,
I don't want to be here anymore.
Where as a culture did we land on the word slut?
Like at one point, like that was getting you canceled.
And then Amber Rose kind of brought it back.
And Taylor has that song.
Right.
And like, I understand why it's derogatory.
I did just use it, but
like is my career over?
I think it's okay.
And I think it's a good word.
It's descriptive.
And I kind of like that we had to stop.
I like that we kind of had to stop using it because maybe it was getting overused.
And now like if somebody's using it, like you're a slut, like it feels sharp.
Yeah.
Whereas maybe at one point it was kind of dull.
Like we were overusing it too much.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And you were calling people it for like, you know, just being.
Like wearing a short skirt.
Sorry, that doesn't make you a slut.
Yeah, just
not called for.
It doesn't mean that the whore doesn't exist and that it doesn't have a meaning.
Right, right.
I think the problem, one of the issues was like, what's the male equivalent?
And now I feel like we have a few, like, fuckboy.
Yeah.
And why can't a man be like a whore?
Yeah, he can.
Yeah.
Man whore.
We literally have that word.
Whore is a good word, too.
Who are.
I also like a hooker.
Do I like the word hooker?
That's a good question.
Let me think.
Let me think.
Cause,
no, it doesn't, it doesn't like it slut no it does like a tongue lashing like but i just like i just like like oh that hooker
yeah that's good too it's good
are you ready for our next story
but if they call me a slut i don't like that song though I actually agree.
When I saw the title of the bonus tracks for 1989 and there was one called All Cap Slut Exclamation Moint, I thought it was going to be like, shout out to my ex slut, like something like really pop anthem-y.
And it kind of was giving like slow ballad slut oh by the way i just need to make a note because of the chart data that we have um
let me see if she's here at all because i'm not seeing charlie xcx and so
that's actually surprising because brat was brat have you thinking that brat took over the world it was took over the internet but yeah there was a conspiracy theory that like brat is an industry plan brad is an industry plan i was there a theory outside of me yeah yeah so I need to meet my people.
That like Brad's in a simulation or something.
Because if you look culturally, Brad is everywhere.
I mean, it became one of the presidential nominees, like aesthetic for her campaign.
So you would think it was like GTPD level.
And she is noticeably missing.
And they're saying Brad should be album of the year.
She wasn't top 50 stream artist globally.
No, I didn't know that because I actually would say, you know, Brad kind of was the album of the year because the simulation.
You forgot to take your VR goggles off, yeah.
Perhaps.
So that's just worth noting.
It is.
Our third story is seriously so crazy.
And
I said Azilia Banks versus Maddie Healing.
No, it's Vicki Gumbelson on the Vial Files.
Vicki Gumbelson
was caught trash talking Nick Vial's podcast in a shocking hot mic moment post-interview.
So Vicki Gumbelson went on the vial files remotely from the beach.
She called in.
She did a little interview.
She was so in Pruerta Vallarta at, she was whooping it up at Andalay's.
100%.
And then, you know, they say their goodbyes and she forgot to end the Zoom call, of course, and starts talking about the show.
And they left it in.
She goes, that was a favor to her dad.
He's got 7 million views.
Unclear whose dad, whose views.
So at first, I was thinking that she was saying she was doing it as a favor to Natalie, who's Nick's co-host and his wife, Natalie's dad or something.
Maybe they know.
He's a farmer.
But then she was like, he's got 7 million views.
So I'm pretty sure they were, maybe I think Vicki thinks that Natalie is Nick's son.
A daughter.
Excuse me.
Yeah.
So I think 7 million views has to do with the show.
Then she goes on to explain his credentials.
She goes, I was a guest on his show.
He's got his own network, his own show, his own thing.
I've never heard of him.
She went on to mispronounce his last name.
I heard her say Nick Viles, but it said maybe she said Nick Viles.
Either way, wrong.
Jackie, I just saw the funniest TikTok about Nick Viles nickname and last name pronunciation
because,
you know, people always say, and it's so true, like the Vial Vials is probably one of the best titled podcasts on the planet.
Except when you do the proper research and you find out that Nick Vial's last name is actually Nick Vial.
Yeah, and he's told us, I know that somewhere.
And anytime he's ever been like, they were playing old in his TikTok, old clips of him on The Bachelor, like, and it was pronounced everywhere Nick Vial.
So it's actually the Vial Vials.
And it's just like the the tiniest, it's the tiniest flaw in a otherwise perfect title.
And it was cracking me up.
I think like everybody just started, everybody ignored the proper pronunciation of his name.
So we just like leaned into it.
Well, they're calling me Vial anyway.
Yeah.
I might as well take the vial files.
The vial fials is very fun to me.
Now, the internet is divided on whether or not Nick should have kept in this hot mic moment because at the end of the day, Vicki didn't say anything outright terrible.
Just like, you know, every time you, first of all, I so relate to Vicky on this.
Anytime I hang up, whether it's like someone I know, customer service, and I'm on the beach, especially having a cocktail, like I'm saying something nasty about the person I just hung up with.
Like, sorry, it's the human experience.
She really didn't even say anything that bad.
And so
if this were us,
we would like send the recording to literally everyone we know, but we would not have shared it like publicly as a part of the episode, right?
I don't think so, but I also feel like at the end of the day, this, it's kind of, she didn't say anything bad.
Like this, it was just like an awkward moment.
The only people she was offending were them like it's up to them what they want to do it's not like she said something and like they're posting and it could end her career and it's like she right like so i don't really have an issue with them posting it it's also so vicky i'm sure she's cracking it up i don't think she's like hiding in her room embarrassed i think she's like oops i don't have an issue with them posting it either i do wonder if this because they're a guest-based show, if this like has potential repercussions to like turn people off.
I don't think so because I really think most people like can be okay to hang up the phone and I and he said on this like this is so how he said here like the OC women I think they have a history of like not ending phone calls and then going on to talk shit like it's so congruous with them I genuinely think it's so harmless of course it's so cringe but I don't think
it will I don't think it's bad look for biophiles and honestly such a funny moment everyone's talking about it we're talking about Vicki and again like I only have like funny thoughts about this.
I, it doesn't make me like dislike her or anything.
She's just hysterical.
And of course, like she, you know, she sells insurance and she's like, oh, 50 plus.
Like, she does not listen to the biopiles.
I didn't expect her to be.
Do you think she even knows at this moment?
I mean, it's gone so far.
There's a chance she doesn't even know about this.
Yeah.
She's on vacation.
That is true.
I think it's so funny.
I'm surprised shit like this doesn't happen more often.
But I guess like, really, how hard is it to hang up a Zoom?
Yeah.
And she had.
Because even if you don't know how to hang up, like, it could have been that like she didn't hang up, but someone from Nick's team did automatically, but nobody hung up.
Right, right.
She said that she made a clip, but she did also make it clear early in the interview that she didn't want to be there because she said she canceled the interview and I didn't know that they didn't cancel it.
And she's had 400 meetings.
So she had to like go through with the it's like no, she sounds like a dream guest, honestly.
Like she's very authentic.
Authentic.
And aren't we always asking for authenticity?
Gunna Vicki.
Yeah.
And they weren't offended.
Natalie was like, she's an icon.
This is hysterical.
She was like, I was sweating.
And yeah, until the clip is over, I'm like clenching.
What?
No,
by the way, in the privacy of what she's obviously sitting with like a friend or a boyfriend, like in the privacy of like a, you could say of all the things she could have said after hanging up for an interview she didn't want to be on, like it's actually really not that bad.
No, if I did an interview that like for some reason I found offensive, like she obviously like had a problem with this interview and like I really didn't want to do it and I hung up and I'm sitting with Ben, I would have been like, these fucking morons.
Like I would have said something like that.
So you know what?
It could have been so much worse.
So I think this is actually just funny and fun all around.
Yeah.
for the most part, harmless.
Yeah.
Are you ready for our next story?
Yeah, we have also Real House Resident Beverly Hills recap.
I totally forgot to like mention that at the top of the show.
Yes, our next story is not funny and fun all around because Chloe Kardashian claims that an old therapist leaked private information from her session to a tabloid, and that's why she did not go to therapy for years and instead sought therapy in the gym.
So she
sat down with Bussell for an interview published on Tuesday, and she talks about how she turned to the gym as a form of therapy after being betrayed by her therapist.
She revealed she started working through her mental health struggles with exercise after her former counselor allegedly breached doctor patient privilege amid her divorce from Lamar.
She said, I remember I was going to therapy and the next thing I knew, something private I told my therapist was on a tabloid.
And I knew that my therapist discloses information to a tabloid because there's no way this could have gotten out there.
She did not disclose exactly what her therapist leaked about the marriage.
And she said the traumatic experience kickstarted her love for fitness.
It ruined her relationship with therapy for nearly a decade.
She said, I stopped going to therapy and started going to the gym.
I needed a release, but I did not trust anyone else anymore.
And the place that I felt the safest was the gym.
She called the experience very jarring and sort of unbelievable and insisted there's not a chance in the world that it came from anyone else.
She refused to seek help for years as a result of the betrayal until her older sister, Kim, finally convinced her to give it another shot.
She said, I started when I was 39, noting that her new doctor is really lovely.
She said, I really like her.
It's actually Kim's therapist.
Kim was really adamant.
I was like, I'll do this for you.
I dragged my feet and then I was like, wow, okay, this is good.
I needed this.
Turns out she had a lot to unpack from the years.
Her therapist was like, I think you should come three days a week.
She was like, you really need to be here.
And it all worked out.
I mean, I feel like this is like regular people's worst nightmare.
I think a lot of people don't go to therapy because like the concept of bearing like the worst parts of yourself to a human being who technically could run and tell someone.
is like a real fear.
Although, you know, you're kind of irrelevant.
No one cares.
And when you would expect that that's a fear of
a top tier fear.
I think it is.
I think it is.
I think it keeps people from doing therapy, just like saying the quiet part out loud, like things you've never said.
Yeah.
Well, that's just hard, period, let alone then having to be concerned about a breach of trust.
But I wonder if this keeps celebrities out of therapy.
I think, definitely, because I think it crosses people's mind who aren't celebrities.
And so that fear is probably tenfold when you actually, your thoughts are, would be interesting to other people, lots of other people.
And, you know, that HIPAA and that confidentiality, it's kind of like, yeah, it's the law, right?
But like, there's something, like, you're not handcuffed.
Like, there's, this person has free will.
They could abide by the HIPAA or not.
Like, but they could lock
license.
Yeah, of course, no, there are consequences, but it's not like
I am sure, I am 100% sure that woman is no longer a practicing therapist.
Good.
Because also, if she's like running in fabulous circles where she's getting recommended to Chloe Kardashian, she's working with other people of note.
And I don't think Chloe would just let this lady.
Yeah.
Also, I think it makes sense to like like share a therapist with your family members because then the therapist has like actually a really good picture of everything that's going on.
And like you can't just like talk about the other person and they just think that other person's like the devil and never meet them.
And it's like, oh, if she really has all sides separately, she can give informed advice.
Not that it's not that she's going to therapy because of Kim, but I actually think it's like
if she's really in your world,
it sounds like a good idea.
Do you remember that episode of Kardashians, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, like on E, where they had like a family therapist come and they all like Rob everyone, Caitlin.
They had everyone come sit down.
I think it turned into a referendum on Rob.
Rob.
Yeah, yeah, I do.
That was like, seriously, you, I don't know what they got paid.
I think it was just a regular episode of the Kardashians.
You couldn't pay me.
Yeah.
And I think it's very common for people to go to different versions of therapy, counseling, group therapy.
on reality TV.
And I know it's like staged, but you're still talking about real things.
To me, not only do I, as a viewer, like, I genuinely find it uninteresting, but like, it's so personal.
I wish they would stop doing that.
I wish they would stop doing that.
Like it's not even, it's not even juicy.
No, and it's like when someone's finally going to therapy and it's like you're doing it on camera, that's not, it's kind of against like, it's the opposite of what it should be.
And I also don't give a shit.
Right.
One of the first like memories I have of watching somebody go to therapy was Courtney Kardashian was like a very early adapter.
She was like one of the only girls going to therapy in her family and she would always film it.
And I'm like, that's really so crazy.
Also, something similar, this is the second thing that sort of like HIPAA violation has happened to the Kardashians.
Remember when Scott entered like a rehabilitation program and it was COVID, so it was all done on Zoom and somebody took a screenshot and sent it to like a tabloid.
Yeah.
Also, I feel like I remember Jax Taylor going to therapy.
I don't care.
Yeah.
When people go to couples therapy on camera for the first time, it's like,
it's not a good sign.
You know, you're not serious about the work.
It's so true.
And as a viewer, I can't stress enough how uninteresting it is.
Yeah.
I really like it.
It's a lose-lose.
I guess that gets everyone involved.
No, I feel so awkward.
But it's just like, please get me out of here.
Yeah.
No, and it's like, if it's something that you would share to the entire world, but you have no inner thoughts or you're not sharing your inner thoughts.
And in that case, it's pointless.
Yeah, that.

What can I
say?
Our fifth and final story, a little documentary news because Aaron Rodgers, Enigma, is coming to Netflix.
Aaron Rodgers has a new docuseries on Netflix that will be chronicling his time and his comeback from his Achilles heel injury.
Pass, like, seriously, have you seen the Jets?
They are stinging it up.
Like, sorry, Aaron Rodgers.
There's no happy ending to the story.
Like, yeah, he came back healthier and what to play worse than ever.
Like, the Aaron Rodgers story in New York is so depressing.
And, like,
help us.
Seriously, you were supposed to help.
That is so funny.
So the trailer drop for Aaron Rodgers Enigma is what it's called.
Okay, Erica Jane.
It's okay, Churchill.
It's a three-part.
That's that Erica Jane quote, I'm an enigma wrapped in a riddle and cash, is a derivative of a Churchill quote, which is why she's our queen.
Interesting.
Yeah.
It's a three-part documentary series that will come out on December 17th.
He talks about losing friendships, family due to his views.
He talks about how it was heartbreaking.
He shares about his Achilles heel.
And then he also talks about the future of his career.
And he talked a lot about in the trailer, like about RFK asking him to be his VP pick and how when he was out, down and out, he had like two choices, like to heel and play football still or run for vice president.
Yeah, no, I seriously, this is so unserious.
I'm like so over Aaron Rodgers.
Like I said, that is so crazy.
I thought you were obsessed.
That's your boy.
He was cute.
It's your boy.
He's really cute.
Like his celebrity connections.
Like I loved when he dated Danica.
I loved, of course, the Olivia Munn.
I loved the Shaylene Woodley.
And then when he was coming to New York, I was like, woohoo.
And he's just like kind of done nothing but disappoint me.
And every time he's like in the news doing interviews, he's like on Zoom in this like turnt dark cellar.
Yeah, like being looking so fibicida and like sourpost.
Like he's just like really pissing me off.
I'm going to watch this documentary because I feel like a lot is said about Aaron Rodgers.
And I don't watch those interviews of him on Pat McAfee talking shit for a living, but like he's just like going on Pat McAfee like angry all the time.
Like just roasting everyone.
And then I only see like quotes.
I'm like, oh, Aaron, that's not nice.
But I really.
No, and by the way, let me tell you where Aaron Rodgers had me.
When he was beefing with Jamie Kimmel, like obsessed, I literally dreamed of
it for you.
That's peak Aaron.
And I'll just kind of went downhill after there, like seriously.
And the way like he had this miraculous recovery and I was like, he's going to bring, Jackie, seriously, the Jets haven't won a game in weeks.
Like, what are you doing if not helping?
Well, I'll, I'll find out in the documentary.
And I want to hear it from aaron's self there's much ado about aaron do you think he's going to talk about jordan and jojo
that's a great question i think it would have been in the trailer but i'm going to hold that's a reason to tune in that's a reason to tune in maybe a little shaylene he also that's a reason then a big part of this documentary is him talking about um
his spiritual journey
Okay, like I said, this is like where people, when they go to therapy on reality TV, like they lose me.
I'm uninterested.
Yeah, but I'm going to give it a shot.
So that's December 17th.
And it's like a good thing to watch with your husband or boyfriend.
That's like, yeah, that's good for everyone.
So I'm here for it.
I'm here for it.
I like these documents.
That's like, I can get into those.
Like the Martha one, like I really, I like it's quick, Ashley Madison, like three episodes, two episodes, and we're done.
I learned something great.
Yes, I think the issue is that to carry a documentary, I think you need to be like beaming with personality.
And I think like Martha was so successful at that.
I'm sure they had tons of footage to leave on the cutting room floor.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe I'm just judging, but like Aaron Rodgers doesn't seem like the type of guy who's going to like dazzle me through the screen.
Like he just is going to dazzle, but I don't think he's boring.
As you said, like he hops online.
Do you think he affies boring?
I think he affies boring for sure.
Like him or dislike him.
Like everyone's always talking about him.
So if you're an Aaron Swirly, which I thought that we were
December 17th, he lost
like when he started, like, he's literally like not good at his job.
So if you're going to like talk so much shit, that's fine, but you have to like back it up.
Is there a chance
that is it really his playing that's sinking the team or is it everyone else?
No, I mean they're not a great team, but like you have allegedly like one of the league's greatest quarterbacks.
And I guess like Tom Brady always made it work.
He was right.
Like these men, they can run.
Like the other, there's not much for them to do.
Like everybody knows a quarterback is like kind of the most important one.
Aaron should go to the 49ers because like what they need is a star quarterback.
But the thing is, I don't, I actually don't think, I think actually Brock Purdy is probably a better current quarterback than aaron rodgers yeah but the thing about the 49ers is that they have like spent all their money on talent across the field and they don't have that like you know franchise quarterback but they are so amazing because they have so much amazing talent but if they had an amazing quarterback they would have won the super bowl that's like what i've heard even though i love brock and if anyone says a bad word about him like i will
come for you even though i say
There are two quarterbacks who I remember.
I don't know if they were the same year, but like there was so much hype for them.
Joe Burrow won.
He's like so handsome.
But also that cutie Trevor Lawrence, who in my opinion looks like Kylie Kelsey.
The two of them are like,
yes, if you ever look at them faces, it's kind of giving like Hannah Brown and
Whitney's dad.
Whitney's husband.
Trevor Lawrence.
Kylie Kelsey and Trevor Lawrence have the same exact face.
Like you'll see.
And they also have the same hair.
Oh, cute.
Because he has like long body.
I've never seen him with his helmet off.
No, he's cute.
And his wife is expecting.
Like, they're really cute.
There was a lot of hype.
They were like these huge college football players and then they got drafted and like to like bad teams.
So like they're kind of wasting away on these two.
No, I'm sorry to like everyone on the green and orange teams, but like Weenie, one of them needs to go to the Niners.
Yeah, but they don't have like the budget because they pay everyone else a lot and that works for them.
Christian.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What was the story?
Aaron Rodgers.
Oh, Aaron Rodgers.
Yeah.
So speaking of television, let's dive into our Real House Does it Beverly Hills weekly recap?
Last night was another episode.
And like, seriously, two moments they've been teasing like this season thus far were both in the episode and they were both so anticlimactic.
Like one, Dorite falling, how many times we have to watch it.
Like it was actually embarrassing for her.
And two, God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason.
Listen.
Yeah.
No, the fact that they hit us with a to be continued over that dinner spat, it's like really not boding well for the season.
The bar is in it.
Like, it's, I understand you want to drag the rest of the fight till the next episode, but like, don't give us to be continued.
I'm not on the edge of my seat and I did want to see pre it's not.
I want to see previews for next week.
That's the thing that's annoying about TBC.
We don't get previews for next week.
And like, don't you want me to, like, I need to be a little titillated because I like the women of Beverly Hills.
Like, even when they're just sitting around the table, like, they're fun
to watch, but this season like isn't great.
I don't really know how much better it's going to get, especially because the cornerstone of the season is the fight between Kyle and Dariet, which should be like meaty because they were really close.
They've been on forever.
The issue, though, is that the reason why they're feuding is very confusing.
So it's hard for us to like galvanize and get on someone's side because I don't know what the fuck's going on.
Same, except that I felt last night at that dinner was the most clarity we've gotten up until this point where they were pulling out examples because we knew the BravoCon thing, which was so nothing.
And I'm glad they showed that clip of Erica.
I'm glad Erica's like taking a little bit of a stand while also staying in the middle.
I'm glad they showed her reaction because it's such a nothing burger.
And I felt like that.
conversation and I'm sure we'll see the other half of it was such a bad look for Kyle because she looked so small and so stupid every example and then they've cut into the clip.
What was the second one?
oh well you didn't speak up for teddy are you okay clearly kyle had a horrible time at bravo con and decided to take it all out on it it was dorit's fault and she's like not letting it go it was such a bad episode for kyle because i also think the sit down with mauricio was so awkward and i think we got a little bit more clarity into the current status of their relationship which is that like
Mauricio's out and Kyle would be in if if he would be in.
It's not even clear if he's in.
Then he makes it so confusing with Morgan Wade.
Like they split up.
You know, Mauricio, I think, had a foot out the door, but like, Kyle was also pushing him out the door.
And now it's like, even if she couldn't even answer the question, like, do you want to get back together with Mauricio?
Because she doesn't know.
And, like, they're saying he's going to Greece, which we know there's the pictures of him with the girl.
So, I think that probably comes out next week.
And that's going to be like earth-shattering for Kyle because she just thinks he's like living in his apartment.
And it is very, it's a weird spot that they're in.
Yeah, so I felt like the whole episode was just like, Kyle's so hard to root for.
And I like, you have sympathy that she's going through this thing but like so is Darit and Darit seems like her situation seems toxic now like her and PK aren't getting along He has this alcohol problem the kids are losing their mind her kids are younger her situation like not that I would ever want to be in either of them but I'd rather be in Kyle's
And you know, Darit and PK definitely have some like fucking money issues that they've never really fully dived into and a divorce will exasperate that.
So there's a lot going on in Darit.
And I feel like she's keeping it together for the most part.
And I do feel in the argument, like she is right.
Like I think she has a lot to be mad at Kyle about.
And I think behind the scenes, the way she explains it, I i can actually see their friendship being like unbalanced and like kyle's in charge and she's just like kind of tired of being a door yeah it's like darit would make an infraction and kyle would punish her differently than she would punish anyone else in the group so when kyle's like you're acting so different kyle dorete's like yeah i'm not like letting you push me around anymore and like that's clearly an issue for you so let's get into it um
what the hell was like when
It was brought up twice by Sutton and Garcel.
And you know, I love Garcelle, but like sometimes she's like a dog with a bone with the wrong things.
Like her and Sutton being like so offended that Bose and Dorit were having a conversation at the end of the table.
Like, and then Garcelle's like, I mean, give us a chance to get to know Bose.
Fucking try.
Right.
Darit went to her house.
Make it up.
Dorit is talking at the end of the table to Bose about her personal life.
Meanwhile, every time Dorit speaks, you say she talks too much, but she should share these personal details with you, even though you don't like listening to her speak.
That was like so transparent to me.
It's like you either just want to hear about Darit's pain or you just want to find something, find fault with Darit.
But it's a long, it's a long table.
It's not even a circular table.
There's going to be conversations at one end and conversations at the other and like, sorry that you're at this end.
That.
And then they brought it up not like trying to make it seem like Darit was doing something wrong.
Like Dorit's obviously going through something.
She's talking to the person across the table for her, like why she's in a bad, stressful mood.
And I actually don't think it's weird that Darit like met this person for the first time and like unloaded on her.
I think that that's oddly like very common.
And everyone in the group has like, so they know PK.
They're so like everyone has their preconceived notions.
Like this is just like a fresh person who seems really sound of mind and seems smart and like maybe she would give good advice like I could see you just like being drawn to her energy It's literally not Garcelle saying she share she's like getting close to Bose because Bose doesn't know like Darreed or have history with her like that's what someone like I don't know who's so on the outside like Danielle Staub would do who it's like
I'm literally have no other friends in this group so I'm gonna be to claim
a new person that's literally not what's going on here they obviously just have like things in common a connection and that's like literally what happens when you meet people you either have a connection with them or you you don't.
And let me tell you something else Garcelle was doing that was bothering me.
Like, and you know, I ride for her, but like, sometimes she's really hard to defend.
Like, a lot of the women were doing this, like, in their confessionals, like making fun of Kathy's like afternoon of relay races.
Meanwhile, they cut to them on the beach.
The women are laughing.
I've never seen them have so much fun.
And first of all, you know, that's like my dream afternoon, like playing Duck Duck Goose.
Like, I love games like that.
And I actually, like, inspo, I think Kathy is so funny.
And it really, the whole point of the trip was like, Kyle's going through a lot.
Dariet's going, like, just get everyone to laugh and relax.
It's not supposed to be so serious.
Mission accomplished.
And everybody in their confessionals, like, being like, this, what are we, 11?
Like, it's funny.
Stop.
Like, everybody was having a good time.
They were.
It was really funny.
And the trip looked amazing.
I'm glad that Kathy planned the trip.
I like seeing Kathy doing Kathy things.
And I loved those hats.
I thought everybody who put
the hat on looked amazing in the hat.
I agree.
Even Erica said it was small on her head.
She looked so, like the minute the lampshade came down, everyone looked fantastic.
I want one.
There was a sad moment in the episode when they were at Kathy's kitchen, like getting ready to get on the sprinter and Jennifer Chilly comes in with like her sick Louis Vuitton travel travel cases.
And Erica's like looking, it wasn't even so much envy.
It was kind of like a longing.
There was a time where she could have, she had a relationship with Louis Vuitton if she wanted a custom, you know, Hollywood Walk of Fame hat box.
Like it was kind of like a glimpse into a former life and she lives well and she could buy herself nice things, but that's another level.
And it made me sad for her.
Yeah, I love her so much.
I want she's having an amazing
best for her.
She's worked so hard to like sustain a lifestyle, like to do, to live the way that she used to live on like a single income, you you know, not stealing from victims, lifestyle,
orphans and widows.
Right.
So she's just so great.
She's a really great friend.
She's really a voice of reason.
I wish she would like
get involved a little bit more, but I understand, like she had a couple really hard seasons where she was the center of conversation all the time.
And I think right now she's just like, okay, you guys take the heat for a second.
She's happy taking a back seat.
Yeah, I need, I need a billionaire businessman bow for her like today.
Yeah.
Me as well, even though I don't even know if she would like go for that anymore.
She's just been so burnt.
She's scarred.
So we found out about Jellia for Tilly and her income.
Her husband was The Simpsons.
She has 10% of The Simpsons.
And no one thought it was...
She didn't say 10%.
She just said a piece.
Oh, did she not say 10%?
No, and when they were getting divorced, it was just like a popular show.
They had no idea it was going to go on for, what is it, like their 45th season?
The only thing that confuses me is her house being so small.
I guess she's just one person.
Like, how big of a house do you need?
But like, if I owned a chunk of The Simpsons, like, I would have a bigger house.
But, you know, different strokes.
Different strokes for different folks.
I
don't find, and I just, I love a rich person on this show, so I have no problem with her.
I don't find that she adds much.
I think she's like a little kooky, but
I'll, I'll hold off until I see more.
Yeah, no, and this expectation that we all know and love Jennifer Tilley, like, can we get, we got to know her a little bit last night, so like the context was good, but like, still, I don't know her.
Who is this person?
I think her ex-husband, by the way, and they didn't mention this, but I saw it on Twitter.
He has passed away.
How sad.
I think he passed away in 2015 from cancer, which I thought was odd that they didn't show that.
Yeah, that maybe her and Bose will connect.
Perhaps.
So it was like a nothing burger episode, but nice to see the gals like being rich.
Got to go to Oceanside.
Being like learning about new destinations, being party and fashionable.
And yeah, it's always a pleasant watch because of that.
And I think they should wear this hat to the party tonight.
A thousand percent.
That's our show.
