Speaker 7 What's going on, everybody?
Speaker 6 Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Vile Files.
Speaker 6 I'm your host, Nick, joined by my gorgeous, lovely, lovely, fantastic, sexy, beautiful, gorgeous, amazing, funny, spectacular, kind, great wife, Natalie Joy, joined by the rest of the household.
Speaker 6 Susie Evan returns. She is.
Speaker 7 Just one.
Speaker 7 She's just one Evan. Just one Evan.
Speaker 6 Well, she is becoming a member of the household.
Speaker 4 Susie Evans is becoming a member of the household.
Speaker 6 Is it Evan or Evans? Evans.
Speaker 7 Evans. We fold you.
Speaker 7 Didn't I say Evans? You said Evan.
Speaker 4
No, you said Evan. One Evan.
Singular.
Speaker 4 He probably said Evan, but like in his brain added the S, and then we corrected him and then he was confused.
Speaker 6 I'm a dumb, dumb guys.
Speaker 7 He's just got a couple.
Speaker 4 His elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor.
Speaker 7 No.
Speaker 6 Sometimes I need a reboot like Austin Shepard did at the reunion.
Speaker 6 Who is our guest this episode? Excited to have him on.
Speaker 6 Austin seems like a little troublemaker, you know?
Speaker 4
You know, he seems like he has some beef. I feel like maybe he wasn't in the right mindset at the reunion.
And I feel like we've got him on a good one-on-one.
Speaker 6 Want to make him feel comfortable, cozy.
Speaker 4 Seven-on-one.
Speaker 6 Do we just have Austin sit in my chair since we're not in LA at the moment?
Speaker 7 Sure.
Speaker 4 It looks cozy over there. Yeah.
Speaker 6
No, we want him behind the Vala Follow sign. Well, we have a lot to get into.
Guys, I don't know if you realize this. We are closing in on our 1,000th episode,
Speaker 6 which is unfortunate because I have a hard time with my THs.
Speaker 6 I have a hard time saying 1,000.
Speaker 6 1,000.
Speaker 7 1,000. 1,000.
Speaker 6 Anyways, I literally have a speech class later.
Speaker 4 Y'all have bullied bullied him into a speech class.
Speaker 7 Whoa, no way.
Speaker 6 Speech coach. I'm working on my articulations.
Speaker 4 The haters have bullied him into his marble mouth, fixing his marble mouth.
Speaker 7 Wow. I just listen.
Speaker 6 You always got to fine-tune your skill set.
Speaker 4 It's like, it was constructive criticism.
Speaker 7 But it's something I've always wanted to work on.
Speaker 6 And I just think
Speaker 6
I could work on some of my weaknesses. I think, you know.
A little vulnerability goes a long way. Anyways, you guys bullied me.
Speaker 7 Yeah, there we go.
Speaker 8 Have you guys ever seen that tweet that's like, sometimes the haters are right. This is a win for the haters.
Speaker 7 Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 This is a win for the haters. And honestly, they're going to hate us even more because then what are they going to have to like criticize?
Speaker 6 What's going to happen when I'm perfect?
Speaker 7 Literally.
Speaker 6 Anyways, you know, we've been doing this show for since 2019. We are approaching that episode number.
Speaker 7 1,000.
Speaker 6 1,000 episodes.
Speaker 6
And we got some big things coming up. We're going to be upgrading studios.
That's going to be fun. We obviously want to have an exciting celebration for our thousandth episode.
Now, kind of like
Speaker 6
we don't know when we're going to celebrate it. It might be on number 1000.
It might be a little bit after because we want to make sure that episode is special.
Speaker 6 And we're bouncing around and we're really busy. Maybe we celebrate on our 106th episode.
Speaker 7 I don't know.
Speaker 7 10,000th.
Speaker 6 Our thousandth and sixth.
Speaker 7 Thousandths.
Speaker 6
Thousandth and tenths. I know.
Sometimes your birthday is on a Monday and it's just like, why would you have a party on a Monday?
Speaker 4
Exactly. You celebrated on a Saturday.
So maybe our thousandth thousandth episode falls on a Tuesday.
Speaker 7 Well, that's reality right now.
Speaker 4 We don't know what day it's going to be.
Speaker 6 We don't know, but we would love to.
Speaker 7 We're going to celebrate.
Speaker 6 We would love to brainstorm ideas with you guys about who would be some exciting guests to celebrate number 1000.
Speaker 4 So who do y'all want to see for our thousandth episode? Like, who would be fun?
Speaker 9 Who would be fun? I say Andy Cohen.
Speaker 7 Wow. Andy Cohen would be fun.
Speaker 8 I say Jen Shaw from prison.
Speaker 7
Oh, yeah. Oh, that would be fun.
In her shackles.
Speaker 4 Yeah.
Speaker 7 In her jumpsuit.
Speaker 4 Maybe Elizabeth Holmes makes a cameo.
Speaker 7 Yeah.
Speaker 8 Ghislaine, not allowed.
Speaker 6 How are we going to get some of these guests? Do you think?
Speaker 7 We're putting it out there right now. Yeah.
Speaker 9 Putting it out there now, willing it into existence.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 8 I mean, if Travis Kelsey can get a whole ass wife from
Speaker 7 the podcast.
Speaker 4 So true.
Speaker 7 We're shooting our shots right now.
Speaker 7 We can get a guest.
Speaker 7 Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 6 Just for that celebration.
Speaker 4 Just for the thousandth episode, Nick divorces divorces me and marries someone else.
Speaker 7
That's our thousandth episode. I will offer our thousandth episode.
And
Speaker 4 he no longer has a Marvel mouth.
Speaker 7 So he's like,
Speaker 7 here's my goal.
Speaker 6 Whenever we celebrate our thousandth episode, I'm going to be able to say 1,000th epithet.
Speaker 9 That's going to be your goal that you go in with.
Speaker 6 Yeah, we're not celebrating it until I can say the word.
Speaker 9
Fine, that's fair. That's fair.
So you'll know when we celebrate is not because of the guest. It's because it's when Nick is ready to say it.
Speaker 8 His articulation
Speaker 4
improved. That is our thousands.
We're just celebrating that Nick can finally speak again.
Speaker 6 Give me some more names, guys.
Speaker 6 And if you're listening, feel free to say them out loud in your car or DM.
Speaker 7 Or comic. Or comment below.
Speaker 9 Katie Perry.
Speaker 7 From space.
Speaker 7 Katie Perry.
Speaker 7 Interesting. In space.
Speaker 4 What? In space.
Speaker 7 In space.
Speaker 9
I don't want to go. to that though.
I don't know, Nick. Let's figure out like who we could get through like your connections, like six degrees of separation.
Speaker 6 Yeah, I'm very connected, man. He's been around for a while.
Speaker 9 Yeah, you've been on The Bachelor, you've been on Dancing with the Stars, you've been on special.
Speaker 6 Should we air like Kevin Bacon it?
Speaker 7 Yeah, Kevin Bacon it.
Speaker 9 Yes, let's Kevin Bacon it. Okay, so who do we who do we have?
Speaker 8 Wait, do Kevin Bacon? Kevin Bacon.
Speaker 7 Do Kevin Bacon?
Speaker 4 So, what are you doing, Leo? You're just like plugging this into.
Speaker 9 Yeah, I'm going to plug it into our friend AI. Six degrees of separation from Nick Bayal to Kevin Bacon.
Speaker 7 Is this a thing that you can ask ask
Speaker 4 how you're connected to somebody through ChatGPT?
Speaker 7 I guess so. Okay, are you ready?
Speaker 9
Nick Biall starred on The Bachelor and later appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2017. On Dancing with the Stars, Nick competed against Simone Biles.
Simone Biles was the subject of Simone vs.
Speaker 9 Herself, a docu series produced by Facebook Watch, which also featured Allie Raisman. Allie Raisman appears in the documentary At the Heart of Gold inside the USA gymnastics scandal in 2019.
Speaker 9 That documentary was produced by HBO, which also produced the following starring Kevin Bacon.
Speaker 6 Is that 17 degrees?
Speaker 9 Wow, that's five.
Speaker 4 Sounds like an easy get.
Speaker 7 Right.
Speaker 9
Yeah. Yeah.
Simone Biles, Ali Raisman, Kevin Bacon.
Speaker 4 HBO. I mean, we have to be HBO.
Speaker 7 HBO.
Speaker 6 We've worked with literally everyone.
Speaker 7 I don't even know what Facebook watches.
Speaker 6 If Dancing with the Stars and HBO are.
Speaker 6 You got to. Can you ask AI to eliminate Dancing with the Stars?
Speaker 4 Yeah, because it's just like, and also who's competed on Dancing with the Stars is everyone. It'd be nice if we could just go through your email and your photos.
Speaker 9 Here we go. Nick Vial appeared on the Vile Files podcast.
Speaker 7 Yes, I did.
Speaker 9 One of his notable guests was Olivia Wilde. Nope.
Speaker 7 What?
Speaker 7 When did that happen? Thank God for ChatGPT. What could they do without it?
Speaker 9 All right, we're doing a different one. Lana Del Rey.
Speaker 6 Why did ChatGPT think I had Olivia Wilde?
Speaker 6 Should we DM Olivia Wilde? And then like the internet says you've already appeared
Speaker 6 on the show. Would you like to be our 1,000th episode guest?
Speaker 9 We DM Olivia and we're like, we'd love to have you back on.
Speaker 7 We had so much fun with you before.
Speaker 4 And then she's like, oh, I guess I already did it.
Speaker 7 So might as well do it again.
Speaker 6 Can we just gaslight
Speaker 6 Olivia Wilde into thinking she's already coming?
Speaker 9 I've thought about doing that before where instead of sending like a pitch to a guest, I just send a confirmation letter with the date, time, and the calendar.
Speaker 9 The calendar invite.
Speaker 7 Yeah.
Speaker 2 You're going to get an assistant fired, Leah.
Speaker 9 Okay, here's a plausible six degrees of separation from Nick Viol to Lana Del Rey. Nick Vial appeared on The Bachelor and has been on podcasts with reality TV personalities.
Speaker 9 Chris Harrison hosted The Bachelor and he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ellen DeGeneres.
Speaker 6 I appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
Speaker 4 So we're down
Speaker 4 a degree.
Speaker 9 Well, don't worry, because Ellen interviewed Gwen Stefani, who collaborated with Juana Del Rey.
Speaker 7 Okay.
Speaker 7 Let's do another one. I remember when I first.
Speaker 6 I don't know if Ellen's going to be up for that intro.
Speaker 7 Yeah.
Speaker 4 I remember when I first met Nick and he wore the Ellen DeGeneres underwear and I was like, ew, oh, this guy's cool.
Speaker 7 He's been around the block. Did you?
Speaker 4 Yeah, because I remember seeing like Ellen like only gave them to like the people who, like the hot guys who came on her show. Ooh.
Speaker 7 And so then I was like, oh, no. I was like, oh, period.
Speaker 4 He must have. Like, I knew he bought those those off of like ellendegenerous.com.
Speaker 6 Could you imagine that I was watching Ellen and I saw Ellen give like Zach Efron underwear? And then I went to her merch store to buy underwear and I only wore it when my girls came over.
Speaker 7 Wow. Wait, really?
Speaker 6 That's maybe the most pathetic thing anyone could ever do.
Speaker 4 Well, speaking of sliding in DMs, did you see that Spotify has added a place where you can like DM people? Oh, yes, I have. No.
Speaker 7 Yeah.
Speaker 6 They have already added or they're adding it.
Speaker 8 I think they're introducing in-app direct messages, and I think they're rolling it out this week in select markets.
Speaker 7 For people who aren't.
Speaker 6 So, if you're listening to this podcast on
Speaker 6 Spotify, go ahead and DM your friends. Tell them about us.
Speaker 6 Also, like, you know, throw out your suggestions.
Speaker 9
Well, I have another suggestion. Okay.
Taylor Swift.
Speaker 6 Oh, yes. I'm sure she's free and available.
Speaker 9 Taylor Swift and her new fiancé. Yeah,
Speaker 6
she's had such a good time on her first podcast appearance. She's itching to do another one, I'm sure.
How am I? Well, I've, I've, Taylor Smith gave me a ride home once.
Speaker 7 Whoa, so we don't need six degrees of separation.
Speaker 6
We have a mutual friend. That friend asked me to go to a wedding, uh, crash during a wedding.
Uh, Taylor was there. Um, Jared and I went.
She was very nice.
Speaker 6 Um, and basically, her, you know, we car, like, it wasn't just me. It was a group of people.
Speaker 4 She wasn't behind the wheel.
Speaker 6 She was not behind her wheel. Her, her security was.
Speaker 6 And they did not drop us off at our house.
Speaker 7 It was like they dropped us off at our car, I think somewhere. I don't know.
Speaker 6 We left the party with Taylor. Anyways, I'm not trying to, you know, it's about Taylor and Travis right now.
Speaker 4 No, please tell us more.
Speaker 7 I'm like, what was she like?
Speaker 7 She was very nice.
Speaker 6 Actually, the most endearing moment because it was the end of the wedding. And she spent the whole night dancing and entertaining this very sweet, like, I don't know, 12-year-old girl.
Speaker 6 She was like so nice.
Speaker 6 And then one of Taylor's songs came on and the wedding, everyone was done. And Taylor was like a little sad, no one was dancing, and it was like the most humanizing thing.
Speaker 6 I thought it was so endearing, and like, I just noticed it. She was, I mean, she was this a normal person in the best possible way.
Speaker 6 Uh, Jared was talking to her about their Rhode Island connections, it was uh, it was a very cool moment.
Speaker 7 I love that that is very endearing.
Speaker 4 I feel like the podcast, New Heights, I was as well. I was like, oh, she's like, she's just like us.
Speaker 7 She felt very just like us.
Speaker 6 She's like, she's just a normie, like
Speaker 6 trapped in a billionaire body with like a genius brain.
Speaker 7 Yeah, truly genius.
Speaker 4 Like, where is, where does Travis Kelsey's dad like give all these insights into their?
Speaker 7 I was wondering where that came from.
Speaker 4 And was that allowed? Is he in trouble now? Right? Travis Kelsey's dad, Ed Kelsey, reveals that Travis proposed to Taylor nearly two weeks ago. He also said something else, right? Oh, yeah.
Speaker 4
He mentioned, I think he said that they were going to dinner. And then he was like, oh, let's go out for a, let's go out back for a drink.
I think that's what happened.
Speaker 4 Or that's what he said happened. And then that's when he proposed, According to the dad.
Speaker 7 Anyways,
Speaker 4 but yeah, how I mean, like, is his dad just like getting on his Instagram stories and like writing like details?
Speaker 9 He spoke to News 5 Cleveland.
Speaker 8 Oh, that's a very dad thing to do.
Speaker 7 Dad revealed
Speaker 6 Travis and Taylor's proposal took place two weeks ago at shout out to News 5 Cleveland.
Speaker 4 Ed shared how he told he encouraged Travis to plan a modest roadside proposal, but claimed that Travis wanted a grand special event. Roadside roadside.
Speaker 4 He told the news channel he was going to put her off till this week week to, you know, make some grand thing to make it a big special event.
Speaker 4 And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place and make it a special event when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.
Speaker 6 Respectfully add.
Speaker 7 Side of the road.
Speaker 4 I mean, I'm just like, why is Taylor Swift on the side of a highway getting proposed to?
Speaker 7 That's a man who loves his son.
Speaker 6 He was like, you know what? As long as you mean it, you can do no wrong.
Speaker 4 He shared that he's known of Travis's plan to propose for months, and he even expected his son to ask the question during the last football season. 10 carrots.
Speaker 4 You know, our second year anniversary is coming up.
Speaker 7 10 carrots. I want mine.
Speaker 6 I have to learn how to say 1,000 first.
Speaker 4 Y'all know my birthday is Sunday, and Nick, which is in how many days from today when this airs? Two?
Speaker 7 Three days. I have.
Speaker 4 Nick this morning goes, just like out of curiosity. So you haven't like.
Speaker 6 updated your like wish list in like oh no i was like oh two days beforehand I've been busy I've been busy doing other stuff for your birthday and like also how does this work guys can I can I just please Natalie and I we've been making a lot of meaningful investments in our lives we've we've had some we've had an exciting year of big moments and big purchases you guys all know the lake house is about to be done um
Speaker 6 not cheap um and Natalie a few weeks ago graciously was like you know what let it and my birthday is coming up like a month later She was like, not really coming up.
Speaker 6 Let's not, she's like, let's, she's like, we're not going to do gifts.
Speaker 4 You know? I didn't say about yours. I just said, you don't have to get me a gift.
Speaker 6
Now he's like, you don't have to get me a gift. And it was like, this is a trap.
Sure question.
Speaker 7 Right.
Speaker 7 This is officially a test.
Speaker 7 This is a. You better pass.
Speaker 6 She's either setting me up for success or failure.
Speaker 4 Listen, she's just being gracious because she offered that you didn't have to get her a gift.
Speaker 7 But like, if you don't.
Speaker 6 But I cannot take her up on said offer.
Speaker 4 i'm expecting the gift to be insane
Speaker 6 i'm expecting my reaction to be like but babe i told you you didn't have to get me anything right that's my my my heart my heart wants to be like oh my god what a cool wife i don't honestly great
Speaker 6 say less no gifts i'm good because i don't need a gift for my birthday ever i honestly if i never got a gift for the rest of my life wouldn't care it's not my love language Natalie noted it.
Speaker 7 Kind of.
Speaker 7 But I don't operate that way. No.
Speaker 7 No.
Speaker 6 Anyway, you need to go ahead and update that wish list.
Speaker 7 Yeah.
Speaker 6 Because the Celine bag that I haven't gotten you that's on that list no longer available.
Speaker 7 Ooh. Okay.
Speaker 7 I'll look back at my wish list.
Speaker 8
Oh my God. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
You guys, did you hear about the Katie OC drama?
Speaker 7
No. There's more.
There's more. That's what happened.
So basically,
Speaker 9 she
Speaker 8 just went on.
Speaker 6 She slept over at a blogger's house.
Speaker 7 Yeah, she hooked up with a blogger. No, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 7
Katie is a blogger. She did the Scooby-Doo.
They pulled off the mask. I am the blogger.
I'm the blogger.
Speaker 8 Yeah. Katie Janella is actually Reality Vantese.
Speaker 8 No, basically, she did an interview and she was saying that she wasn't invited to the OC cast trip to Amsterdam, but it was because production was trying to protect her.
Speaker 7 I don't feel like that's how you
Speaker 4 film a show.
Speaker 8 Yeah. Also, don't you get paid more when you go on the cast trip?
Speaker 2 Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 7 She's missing money.
Speaker 6 Aren't cast trips like four episodes of a season?
Speaker 7 Yeah.
Speaker 8 It's the main event.
Speaker 4 This year they did too.
Speaker 7 So. Yeah.
Speaker 7 Do we believe her?
Speaker 8 So basically she was like, in my opinion, they did me a favor.
Speaker 6 That is not the same as Bravo.
Speaker 4
Bravo was like, babe, you shouldn't go. They're out for you.
Like, protect your mental health. Stay home with your kids.
Speaker 7 That was not said.
Speaker 6 This is more like, hey, he hasn't called yet. And the girlie's rallying around and be like, he's obsessing you.
Speaker 7
He's obsessing with you. He's existing.
He allegedly wants to marry you.
Speaker 4 He's planning his proposal on the roadside.
Speaker 7 Not the roadside.
Speaker 6 I will be pissed if Katie's gone.
Speaker 7 I mean, I.
Speaker 6 you know, there's been a lot of, obviously, discussion and discourse around Katie. And for that reason, we want Katie.
Speaker 6 I mean, like Katie's been carrying, like, if Katie's gone, it's going to give very Monica Garcia, you know, and whether you like Katie or don't like Katie or believe Katie or don't believe Katie, she has given us a lot of like great content and great discussion points.
Speaker 6 And it's just like, I mean, what are we doing here when we like, you can't just bring on new housewives just because like a bunch of OG housewives are kind of just over fighting with each other and don't want to like give it their all.
Speaker 6
So they bring someone in new just basically to like beat up on and spit out. Like, what's that? That's not fun.
Are they, you know, like,
Speaker 6 I would, that would be very not cool of Bravo.
Speaker 7 No, I agree.
Speaker 4 I'm like, I feel like every housewife has to go through their hazing, unfortunately, and their rough seasons, but then after a while, everybody has to like leave them alone.
Speaker 4 But I've been seeing that a lot where it's like these OG casts will bring in a new person and then it's like they bully them off the show, essentially.
Speaker 4 And it's like okay because you guys didn't have storylines like if you guys are actually friends and become a cast next season could be great who knows you know because people want to watch that you want to watch people fall apart but you also want to watch them come back together right the redemption i also feel like she wants to be there is what it sounds like and she's like oh i wanted to make amends whether that's true or not she wanted to be a part of it so Feels like she's getting pushed out.
Speaker 4 Yeah, it's like stronger women than me because I don't know how many times I could apologize and be like, I just want to go and piss people off.
Speaker 7
Right. That's when you turn it to Tamera.
Yeah.
Speaker 7 I definitely want to see Katie
Speaker 4 not with like the blogger drama. Like I want to see what else there is there behind, because this feels a little like pulling teeth.
Speaker 4 So I want to see like,
Speaker 4 I don't know, like different drama with Katie.
Speaker 6 Who's Katie? Is she cool with anyone?
Speaker 8 I guess Jen a little bit, but maybe not anymore.
Speaker 7 Yeah, I might have leaked that story with Gretchen.
Speaker 4 And then when I just saw like Gretchen talking about her, basically being like, I was wrong.
Speaker 7 I should have thought
Speaker 7 they are close anymore.
Speaker 4 Tamara just recently came out in an interview, practically like defending Katie and saying that like the girl, like that Shannon went too hard on her and just needs to like leave it alone.
Speaker 4 Like it was actually kind of surprising.
Speaker 6 See, that's why I like Tamara because I think Tamara's, she gets the bigger picture.
Speaker 8 Well, I think with Tamara, with that, it's kind of like the enemy of my enemy is my friend with Gretchen.
Speaker 4 And Shannon.
Speaker 2 And Shannon, yeah.
Speaker 4 Yeah, she said it was like a cast pylon, and it's backfiring because the fans love Katie.
Speaker 7 So, and these are her direct words. Yeah, but also, girl, you were part of that pylon.
Speaker 9
Wait, guys, breaking news. It looks like Ace did a podcast and he's throwing Nick under the bus.
Really?
Speaker 6 You guys have to see his Nick, not me, Nick.
Speaker 9
His Nick, not you. All right, let's see the clip.
I'm sure he's thrown you under the bus.
Speaker 6 I'm sure he's done that too, but let's see the clip.
Speaker 7 Okay, hold on one second.
Speaker 11 Do you feel like Olandia and Nick's relationship is real?
Speaker 2 The silence is real.
Speaker 7 That's wild. Yeah.
Speaker 6 Well, why doesn't he just say something?
Speaker 11 Or is this your answer?
Speaker 6 Uh-huh. I'm going to assume that that's your answer.
Speaker 11 Is that tough for you because Olandria is someone that you consider to be a close friend?
Speaker 6 Yeah.
Speaker 7 Yeah, it really is tough for me because, because, again, we just.
Speaker 6 So is he saying he's not close friends with Nick anymore?
Speaker 12 Time together at the club and we all cake it and shit like that. So I have a lot of respect for Elandja.
Speaker 7 But again,
Speaker 12 from the last conversation that I've had with, you know, Nick, it was a matter of it's not a romantic spark. They just,
Speaker 12 they just, you know what I'm saying? They find each other attractive.
Speaker 11 Nick and Elandia's relationship, you've expressed your... In silence, you've expressed your opinions on that.
Speaker 11 Do you think that the other relationships that have come from Love Island are real?
Speaker 12 Yeah, Taylor and Clark. I know that's for sure real.
Speaker 6 And the other ones, not so much or?
Speaker 6 You know what this reminds me? This reminds me of like being 18 when like, you know, you would have a girlfriend and your buddy would have a girlfriend, but you wanted to be the most in love couple.
Speaker 6 It's giving kind of petty and jealous.
Speaker 7 I mean, also,
Speaker 6 isn't there like a less jealous way of answering that question? Do we know if he ever filmed this before or after the reunion?
Speaker 9 I don't know when this was recorded.
Speaker 6 I mean, we've all had our doubts on their relationship, but like he's supposed to be your boy. And it's just like...
Speaker 9 Yeah, I mean, I also think that like we can't like they have to deal with that enough from the public.
Speaker 6 And also, like, aren't they giving each other a chance to like maybe grow into a relationship? I don't fault them for trying to see if there's something there.
Speaker 7 Yeah.
Speaker 6
We also have Louis chiming in, responding to Andy Cohen. I think this is wild.
I mean, first of all, I think this is really an embarrassing look on Louie's part.
Speaker 9 No, I agree. You want me to, I'm going to pull that one up too, just so that everyone can see what we're talking about.
Speaker 6 Well, you tell Netflix that we're the number one streaming show.
Speaker 7 Shut up.
Speaker 9 Nobody tells Andy Cohen to stream.
Speaker 7 Just shut up.
Speaker 6 First of all, he's from like the UK and he has a British accent, but it looks so awkward that it almost sounded like a fake British accent in a weird way.
Speaker 7 Yeah. Right.
Speaker 9 Well, maybe he's trying to do an American accent.
Speaker 6
I don't know. But like, yeah, you don't tell Annie Coin to shut up.
Also, what is like, Andy's right. And also, you, your girl embarrassed herself by lying the way she did that answer.
Speaker 6 These two are just like, they are very into, they're very into themselves.
Speaker 6 It is crazy that they feel like that like somehow that's a state secret and he that Huda shouldn't be answering that question or somehow that, like, Andy is out of pocket for asking this question.
Speaker 6 And the way Huda responded by accusing Andy of like pressuring her to answer this question is
Speaker 9 crazy. She did also allude to the fact that
Speaker 9 they cut a lot of apparently like the questions out, like how many times she was pressured to asking.
Speaker 7 Pressured? Like,
Speaker 6 you're only getting asked repeatedly because you refuse to ask a basic, obvious question. You're literally doing red carpets with this man.
Speaker 6 If you don't want people to know about your relationship, stay inside. They're literally doing lives constantly with each other and you're not going to speak on this relationship.
Speaker 6 I mean, like, get over yourself.
Speaker 9 It's like, I also believe they knew when this reunion was going to be dropping. And she must have known that, like, the Netflix, like, the perfect match finale was going to air before this.
Speaker 9 I didn't like
Speaker 2 how
Speaker 9 she responded to Alandria being upset about her not standing up for her when it came to the racism.
Speaker 6 So that was wild. I mean, like,
Speaker 6 when, yeah, when Alandria talked about that, I mean, like, Huda clearly knows how to weaponize her audience. So, she clearly is aware of the influence and power or how aggressive her audience is.
Speaker 6 And the fact that, like, Alandria talked about some of these disgusting, racist things that she's had to deal with and these messages she's gotten. And the fact that, like,
Speaker 6 Huda goes basically, what about me? And tried to like literally said, like, she's had to deal with those types of comments too. It's like that, not the same.
Speaker 9 But then also, even then, you know how it feels. Why wouldn't you stand up for your friend?
Speaker 7 No, she specifically asked you to.
Speaker 6
No, I mean, listen, like, I think Huda, the more you're, I've, you, I want, I've tried to defend her in the past. I've, you know, I don't know.
She's,
Speaker 6 these two are, I don't know.
Speaker 9 Yeah, I was definitely, I felt for Landria a lot in that moment because I was just like, it's just like, if you're really her friend, you're going to stand up against racism.
Speaker 4 Like,
Speaker 4 yeah, that was wild.
Speaker 6 Susie, did you, did you watch Bachelor in Paradise this week?
Speaker 2 I did.
Speaker 4
I watched it. Yeah.
How about you guys?
Speaker 6
Yeah, I mean, we watch it every week. I mean, like, it wasn't a ton going on there.
I wanted to remind people,
Speaker 6
Dr. Laura Berman made an appearance this week.
And Justin, your mom is a, is she a psychotherapist?
Speaker 2 She's a psychologist.
Speaker 6 Psychologist.
Speaker 6
Dr. Laura Berman, those of you who don't know, was introduced on Bachelor in Paradise as a psychotherapist, I believe.
Well, she was brought on as a love expert therapist.
Speaker 6
And I'm just here to remind you that I wrote a wonderful book about dating and relationships called Don't Text Your Ex Happy Birthday. And, oh, look here.
It says, Dr. Laura Berman, right here.
Speaker 7 Let me read what she wrote.
Speaker 4 Dr. Laura Berman says, Nick has hard and well-earned wisdom to share from his own journey, from heartbreak to healing to discovering real and lasting love.
Speaker 4 In his usual compassionate and humorous voice, he offers great advice like an older brother who is way cooler and wiser than you.
Speaker 7 Period, Dr. Wow.
Speaker 6 I also love the part on the episode where she was talking to Andrew and Alex and was basically like, you guys don't look like you want to have like... You don't have any chemistry.
Speaker 6 And then she basically described chemistry as like the desire to, when you meet someone, that you immediately want to have sex with one another. And the way that Andrew and Alex looked was like,
Speaker 6 we don't want to have sex at all.
Speaker 7 They're like, we're obstinate. There is.
Speaker 8 But I feel like Andrew and Alex are like a different brand.
Speaker 4 You know what I mean? Like they're a very specific.
Speaker 4
You said they're friends. Have we ever seen them maybe give more than like a peck? I don't know.
Well, he was trying to.
Speaker 4
He was going tongue first. They were during the camp thing.
They They were all like straddling each other and doing.
Speaker 7 Yeah.
Speaker 4 I just feel like they're like quirky, cute. Like, I don't think they're like sexy, hot, like
Speaker 4
passion. Like, you know what I mean? I feel like they're like, oh, my God, like, quirky, fun.
We have, we're goofy together. And then, like, maybe laugh while we have sex.
Speaker 7
Yeah. Oh, I like that.
You know? Yeah.
Speaker 6 Have you ever laughed while you had sex?
Speaker 4
Absolutely. I've made so many jokes and whatnot.
And I think it's so, it's so fun. I've gotten in trouble for like cracking jokes in the bedroom.
Like, why not? This is not the time.
Speaker 7
That's why I said that's all I know you and my partner. Right.
Like, you have fun with me. This should be fun.
Speaker 7 I'm like, this is the bit.
Speaker 10 During sex from a guy, I've never gotten to,
Speaker 7 but I've definitely gotten
Speaker 7 in trouble.
Speaker 8 Sometimes committing to the bit is the sexiest thing you can do. Absolutely.
Speaker 7 Literally.
Speaker 7 Absolutely.
Speaker 4 I love a bit.
Speaker 7 And it carries over.
Speaker 6 Even in the sack.
Speaker 7 Yes, and
Speaker 7 yes, exactly. And yes.
Speaker 7 Exactly.
Speaker 9 Do you know who would make you laugh during sex?
Speaker 6 Probably Austin, right?
Speaker 9 Probably Austin Shepard.
Speaker 6
Yeah, and I think he's here. So up next, Austin Shepard.
We're going to talk to him.
Speaker 7 From Love Island.
Speaker 6
From Live Love Island, USA. And we're going to get into all things being in with Austin.
He is up next.

Speaker 6 Austin, welcome to the show, buddy.
Speaker 2 Thank you for having me.
Speaker 6
We're excited to have you, man. Fresh off the reunion.
I guess let's just start there.
Speaker 4 Are you a little bit more zoned in here than you were there?
Speaker 7 Okay.
Speaker 2 It was such a long day. And so
Speaker 2 imagine being at something for 15 hours that you aren't really like that pressed to be at and then you have to listen to everybody talk about their stuff and you're just like man i i just don't know if i really care all too much to like pay attention this whole entire time so it was like yeah my like i was just so i was out of it i was out of it by the end of the day like we got there so early we didn't start filming till like way later on and yeah i was out of it i was zoned the fuck out 100 like i was i was not there i was so checked out it felt like jeremiah like needed you in that moment where Race was coming after him and I was like, well, Austin, you know him the best.
Speaker 4 And you're like,
Speaker 7 I got nothing.
Speaker 2
I know, I know. I felt so bad because that's my boy.
And I was like, man, afterwards, I was like, dude, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2
I wasn't sharp there. And he's like, you're good, man.
He's like, I know.
Speaker 6 Jeremiah seems like a really chill. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 7 Great guy.
Speaker 6 And I can speak from experience. Those reunions, I mean, you know, what ended up being a two-hour show is like a 12-hour filming event.
Speaker 2 Literally, I think ours was like 15 or 16 hours.
Speaker 6 Wow. 16 hours? Well, yeah, that makes sense because obviously your cast was massive and there was like, you know, 30 some odd episodes, a lot to get to.
Speaker 4 And now, you know, you have all your peers coming out and being like, well, they edited out my conversation with this and they edited out this.
Speaker 6 Oh, yeah, maybe that's a great place to start the Veal files, according to Shelly.
Speaker 7 I think she said Veil. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 6 Veil. I think she said Veal.
Speaker 4 Yeah.
Speaker 6
But Vanna really threw us under the bus. I want you to know, Austin, we don't edit anything out unless our guests require.
If they say something, they're just like, hey, man, that might ruin my life.
Speaker 6 We're not here to ruin anyone's day.
Speaker 6 We will certainly take a note.
Speaker 6 But like, Vanna's like, no, they edit out all the good stuff as if like Vanna implied that she spent an hour singing Shelly's praises and we edited that all out and only kept in like her talking shit, which definitely did not happen.
Speaker 2 Yeah, no, I think
Speaker 2
you know, in the reunion, I think a lot of people are very, very PR'd up. That's not me.
It's very hard for me to be PR'd. I just can't do that that well.
Speaker 2 And
Speaker 2 yeah, once people started getting called out for what they were saying on podcasts, it was like, oh, well, I didn't say that, or, you know, that wasn't completely.
Speaker 2 It's like, just say, just, just say, yeah, I said it.
Speaker 7 Just say it.
Speaker 2
Just say, be like, yeah, you know, like, you know what? I said it. I'm sorry.
We're here now.
Speaker 2 Whatever. But like, you know, it's on recording.
Speaker 7 Yeah. It's like to Nick's point.
Speaker 4 Like, this isn't a 45-minute episode where we're trying to fit in like the juiciest stuff. Like, as our listeners know, we put out two hour long episodes.
Speaker 4 And like, we, like, we don't, we're not, Vanna, we're not cutting you short. If you didn't say what you needed to say, that's on you, girl.
Speaker 7 But like,
Speaker 4 her being like, I had to clear that up on my live that they cut out me saying, like, nope, you just didn't say it here.
Speaker 6
That's what I've always enjoyed about you, Austin. I was a fan of you from the beginning.
I've always appreciated authentic characters.
Speaker 6 You know, there's certain people you can tell who edit themselves. There's a lot of people who, you know, talk like they're authentic and like claim to be constantly.
Speaker 6 And then there's people who just are because like you can tell they sometimes step in it or they sometimes say, you know, it doesn't come out quite right, you know, so to speak.
Speaker 6 And you've always come across to me as someone who, who is like, can't help but be themselves. And you've 100%.
Speaker 6 You've gotten criticism, you faced criticism, you've owned, you know, the criticism you've had.
Speaker 6
You're an imperfect person like the rest of us. So I've always appreciated that about you.
So, and I find those people on TV the most interesting characters. So thanks for being interesting.
Speaker 2 Well, thank you for being interested.
Speaker 2 Yeah, no, like at the end of the day, you know, because Love Island does their best to cast people that are like just normal people.
Speaker 2 And then, even before, like, of course, I knew what Love Island was. Like, you know, you know, of it, but you don't really, you're so disconnected from everything while on the actual show.
Speaker 2 So, you don't understand how big of a lens you're actually under.
Speaker 2 And then, so, like, when you come out, it's like, holy shit, like, you don't really realize, like, okay, actually, everything I do now, like, people are going to be looking at.
Speaker 2 And, uh, yeah, as a very unserious person that just kind of lets shit fly, like,
Speaker 2 it was like, oh man anything i say
Speaker 2 it's like damned if i do damned if i don't so used against you yeah
Speaker 4 yeah have there been moments where you have had to be like not what i meant sorry
Speaker 2 yeah definitely but like
Speaker 2 i feel like in my head i'm like oh man that's not what i meant but it's like either way even if you come back to it and say like that's not what I meant people are going to be like oh well this that this that so it's like it's like you just like whatever you know I've got if it's, if it's too crazy, then like, you know, then say something.
Speaker 2 But if it's like, whatever, it's like, I'm just not going to touch that.
Speaker 4 I'll just, which I think leads into the
Speaker 4 Jeremiah, Taylor, Ace, Nick, that whole like drama where it was very much like Ace trying to say that Jeremiah had said all of these things about. the money or about the show or whatever.
Speaker 4 And I, that's one of my biggest pet peeves is when you are with your friends and you are joking about something and then they try to take that where you're like, oh my God, I would kill you.
Speaker 4 And then they're like, you made me feel so uncomfortable. You said
Speaker 4 kill me and like, I'm scared to be around you. And so I totally understood Jeremiah being like, don't villainize that.
Speaker 4 Did you feel like the guys like took a lot of what he said and tried to make it bad?
Speaker 2
I think they knew he was joking. It was just trying to justify a reason behind it of like why they moved the way they did.
Cause like,
Speaker 2 like, it was, it was so obviously a joke and like when we were talking about the followers stuff like when he used to like we were all sit like i remember we had two conversations about this once when we all came in and then once when all the casa people came in it was just like oh how did you guys get discovered like did you have a following before this and it was like oh no i only had this amount i only had this amount like oh man that's crazy and like that was like end of conversation so it was like There was no like, oh man, like, I can't wait to get this amount of like followers.
Speaker 2 I can't wait for this this this opportunity like there was never that talk so that's why I was super confused because like it was like obviously like we were just like bullshitting on like how we got there because there's times like you you can't you don't want you don't want to talk about love island all the time like you're already on the show like it's like sometimes you just want to bullshit with your friends and just talk about whatever and like you know like we just go off on different tangents But yeah, it was so surprising that like a lot of that got like, I guess, villainized, weaponized.
Speaker 6 But like it is what it is like it it just i don't think i don't think they actually thought that way i've really enjoyed watching ace most this season i think you know he he made a lot of great points often but one thing he always talked about whether it was in in the villa or post villa he always like talks about how he wants everyone to stand on business right like kind of like self-identifying himself is like the real one.
Speaker 6 But like speaking to that and then calling Jeremiah out for followers, it's just like he wanted like the rest of the world to ignore.
Speaker 6 But of all the people coming into the villa, this guy like had close to a million followers already, was already an influencer, like kind of knew, knew how to monetize, which is all great.
Speaker 6 I mean, like, pop off, King, you know?
Speaker 6 Yeah, but it's just like, why are you calling this guy out for something you were literally already doing and making it seem like anyone else who's like, you know, like you all went on a TV show.
Speaker 6 Of course you're excited to like get followers. And like, of course you're excited to be famous.
Speaker 6 Like that, why else would you come on and risk the entire world criticizing everything about everything you say if not for some of the benefits that come with it?
Speaker 2 100%.
Speaker 2 Yeah, 100%. That's why, like, you know, and some people are,
Speaker 2
you know, don't hate the player, hate the game. You know what I mean? Like, that's like, that's a good attestament right there.
Like, you know,
Speaker 2
you can't hate on one person. Like, it's part of the game.
Like, you guys all realize, like, yes, it's a dating show.
Speaker 2 You're here to find love, but some people are better at playing the game than others. And
Speaker 4 yeah that's just how it goes and you can't hate on someone for playing the game better than you speaking of ace there was a moment where the two of you were kind of going back and forth and it shot to a backstage moment where i think it was jaden who was like yeah they have real beef i don't know what did you make of that i i think i think I think it's definitely blown out of proportion a lot more than it actually is.
Speaker 2
I don't think Ace and I really have beef. I mean, we talked after the reunion.
Even on the stand your business challenge, we talked like 10 minutes afterwards and it was like water under the bridge.
Speaker 2 I think, I think we're more like, I think guys are more just like, yeah, whatever, you know, move on. Like, it is what it is, you know?
Speaker 6 And like, you're just not each other's ride or dies.
Speaker 2 Yeah, 100%. Like, we're, we're, we're, like, I've explained, like, we're all family.
Speaker 2 You have family members you don't like and family members you do like, but at the end of the day, like, you're still family and you're still connected.
Speaker 2
Like, I always will wish him nothing but the best and nothing but success from like here on out. I just, you know, we just won't hang out.
You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 Speaking of Jaden, obviously that was a topic that came up in a moment where you kind of blanked a little bit.
Speaker 6 Now that you're here, the pressure's off.
Speaker 6 Do you want to speak to like just, you know, post-Villa, you guys left?
Speaker 7 I thought you guys, you know, what, I think what a lot of people. You never put her on that yacht.
Speaker 7
Right. You need to get a yacht for her.
I know. But like, you guys seem like,
Speaker 6 I think America was like, yeah, these guys work. Cause like, like you, she kind of seems like unserious in the best possible way where it's just like, you know what, man, life's too short.
Speaker 6 You guys seem like a really great couple. But could you
Speaker 6 kind of give some insight or behind baseball, like just how things went down post you guys leaving the villa? And yeah, just kind of clear the air if you need to.
Speaker 2 One sec, sorry.
Speaker 4 Gotta take a sip of water for this.
Speaker 2 I need some water for this.
Speaker 7 This is getting serious.
Speaker 4 Take a minute to think about it.
Speaker 2
So Jaden's an awesome girl. I do agree.
Her and I are definitely like our wavelengths are similar. It's just, it is
Speaker 2
at the end of the day, we are in the villa together for no more than like two weeks. Going out of the villa, like 100%, I should have, I should have communicated with her.
That is 100% on me.
Speaker 2 I should have been transparent, should have communicated with her.
Speaker 2 But there was, I still wanted to get to know her like once we left the villa. And then we were,
Speaker 2 she was talking about this house party thing where I was coming, where I was going there to come break up with her or some shit, which was crazy. Vanna brought that out of no, Vanna was saying that.
Speaker 2 I don't know why, Van. I mean, I know why Vanna was saying that, but Vanna was trying to just cause drama, just trying to stir the pot.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I never was going there to do that, I was just going to the party just to go to the party, and then Jaden came up to me.
Speaker 2 She was like drinking a little bit, and uh, yeah, and she was just saying some stuff that it just turned me off.
Speaker 2 It just turned me off from wanting to really get to know her, and she was very much like in her feels in that moment. And honestly, I am so bad at
Speaker 2
talking about relationship things like that I'm uncomfortable, like that I don't want to continue. Like in the past, I was 100% a ghoster.
I am working on it. I'm trying to work on it.
Speaker 2
But it's like, man, sometimes I just don't want to have that conversation. Like, it's like, I just don't want to have the conversation with you.
And, you know, if you, I respect her.
Speaker 2 So it's like, I should have given her the respect to have that conversation but i also think she blew it way out of because she's had the chance multiple times like we've been doing events together we've seen each other she has my number like she can call me anytime none of that energy that she had like in the reunion i never saw any of that previously so if it was actually bugging you as much as it was like You like if it was bugging me that much, I would have called you.
Speaker 2
I would have reached out and I'd have been like, hey, this is bothering me. But that's what the reunion's for.
So, like, you know, I was gonna say, get it out of here. Yeah, get it out of your system.
Speaker 2 Then, and, but, yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, I should have been more transparent with her.
Speaker 2 I feel bad, but um, but yeah, it was just it was hard to come out of that show, especially when we're on opposite sides of the country.
Speaker 2 It's just it's hard for me to be serious right now about someone, just plain and simple.
Speaker 2 Like, I went into the show very much wanting a relationship and then kind of going through it, like going through and like actually like date like like being vulnerable and dating i was like man like i i might need like a little bit time to myself and uh still work on some things is it a combination of working on things like not ghosting people oh yeah yeah no like and i'm getting better at that it's just it's not even
Speaker 4 yeah yeah okay how do you work on not ghosting someone just being more in communication you know find your integrity be in be in integrity and be like you know i i need to be more communicative jaden mentioned i guess her saying like hey if you want to fuck other people like just tell me so i'm not embarrassed and then i guess made it seem like that's not what you did
Speaker 2 yeah no that wasn't that like that was that was a crazy statement by her that definitely wasn't like um what she said like oh you can go fuck other people and like i don't that that like wasn't like ever how do you make that call anyways hey by the way um so i do want to fuck other people yeah like i thought you should know i support it no i support that i'm like i feel like that's a fair thing to if she's i don't know how she said it but i'm like if she's saying like hey i'm cool with whatever but like just tell me i feel like you could have just said that yeah no a hundred percent and but like
Speaker 2 if she did if she did say that like i like it would have been like you know okay like okay but like we weren't even at like a stage of where we were like you know dating.
Speaker 2 Yes, we were a love island couple and we left the show off as a couple, but we still left the show very much like, oh yeah, we're still just getting to know each other.
Speaker 4 Was it like beating around the bush around the conversation instead of her being as direct as like, oh, if you want to have sex with other people, maybe she like said a few things that she was alluding to that?
Speaker 4 Yeah, but maybe it wasn't.
Speaker 2
I mean, it was, it was just like. like we're dating around.
We just got, it wasn't even like, cause I feel like we weren't even serious enough to have like a conversation like that.
Speaker 2 You know what I mean? like there wasn't
Speaker 2 yeah like i it just we there wasn't we weren't serious enough to be having a conversation of like oh like this is what you can do these are my expectations because like it was just like we were still just getting to know each other you know that's why i was so off guard when she was it a weird transition because obviously on the show right like i mean the show starts with literally them saying, all right, you're going to couple up with someone, right?
Speaker 6 And then by the show definition, you're coupled up, whatever that means.
Speaker 2 And it's weird because like i'm curious like from your perception is that kind of what you're talking about where it's just like yeah in the villa there's these rules of you're coupled up you're you're you're you're exclusive you're not exclusive but when you're not when you leave the villa it's like you're in the real world is like what does what does coupled up mean in the real world so to speak 100 and especially if we like if we defined what we were and had set our expectations of like leaving and like you know started talking about plans of what we were gonna do and how we were gonna how we were gonna do stuff like how how we were gonna make the location work and everything and like when we were gonna see each other then 100 i get having that conversation and like you know being a couple like literally we were just like at the stage of like where you're like going on your like first couple dates with someone just getting to know them like because there was so much about jaden that she really
Speaker 2 wasn't comfortable with talking about on camera and on national tv which completely respect that understand that So there was still a whole side of her that like I didn't like even like really know to an extent.
Speaker 2
Like, yeah, I mean, like, she, she was very, she used to be like an investigator. So it's like, she couldn't talk about her work or anything.
Like, she was very mysterious in that way.
Speaker 2
So it was like, so there was still like, I still didn't know like 50% of you. So it's like, we're still getting to know each other.
And there was that night at that house party and it was just weird.
Speaker 2 It was just weird. We just had a weird conversation and it just like really turned me off.
Speaker 2 And in the moment i should have been like you know what this just isn't this just isn't what i see for us like i don't think there's something here for us and let's just move on i didn't but what did you do um i was just like you know what we'll talk about this another time you seem you seem like we just need to talk about this another time
Speaker 7 and then you never talked about this yeah no then i avoided it yeah yeah
Speaker 6 well in addition to working ourselves i mean like i guess if we're if we're if we are keeping it real um
Speaker 6 when you guys leave the villa, you guys, I mean, I don't know what you're, what you thought or what, what you thought like going on Love Island would bring you, but it gives you a lot of attention.
Speaker 6 And you're, I'm assuming your DMs are open. Is there a part of you that like doesn't want to have a girlfriend?
Speaker 6 Because you want to, you know, like, I think a lot of men, you know, and I don't know what you've heard or what you want to say or not say about some of the unfollowing or the rumors circulating about some of the couples that left the villa, but it's a lot of pressure to, you know, leave the villa famous and then have all these women, you know, or men, depending on who you are, like just falling all over you, sliding your DMs, flirting with you, trying to tempt you.
Speaker 6 And is there a part of you that's like, I don't want a girl from right now because like, I, I don't know, I just want to, I don't want to worry about that.
Speaker 6 And I, I don't want to do something to hurt someone in the long run.
Speaker 6 And I just want to like have fun and meet women and and go to parties and like not worry about, you know, fucking with someone's emotions or cheating on them or etc etc yeah a hundred percent you know there's
Speaker 2 there's that and like
Speaker 2 yes you know you want to i've i've said this because it is so different even as an attractive guy even like without the like even before this
Speaker 2 any of us any of the guys that were on there Even as an attractive guy, you are still approaching, you are still approaching women. You're still the approacher beforehand.
Speaker 2 If you're out and and you're out and about, like you're the, you, you go up to girls and like, you know, you're trying to pick them up, even as an attractive guy.
Speaker 2 You know, there's, there's like the odd ones out where some will like, you know, approach you, but usually you're on the approach.
Speaker 2 And then so afterwards, coming out of that, and then like you are literally just being approached and you like don't have to like really like put in a crazy amount of work.
Speaker 2
Like that's that's something that's like crazy to like deal with. And I think every single guy that is on the show is kind of like, holy shit, like that's, it is insane.
That being said, I am 26.
Speaker 2
I do want a family. I do, like, I want kids.
I want, I want all that.
Speaker 7 Like,
Speaker 2 so I think it just takes a really special person for me to settle down like
Speaker 2 at this moment. Like, you know, kind of like, yes, enjoy it, but like, also, and I feel like when you're not specifically looking to get in a relationship, that's when something special finds you.
Speaker 2 And so, yeah, I'm kind of just living right now.
Speaker 7 Okay.
Speaker 4 How much have you added onto your body count since being out of Chila?
Speaker 2 Not as much as people would think.
Speaker 7 Not as much as people would think.
Speaker 6 Was that a real number, or were you just like answering this questionnaire and just fucking around and just throwing out whatever you're doing?
Speaker 2
I said anywhere from like 90 to 110. It was like, yeah, it was like around there.
And I think they put an exact number on it.
Speaker 6 They're like, we're going to go with the high one. We're rounding up for sure.
Speaker 7 Yeah, that, yeah.
Speaker 2 But I think,
Speaker 2 dude,
Speaker 2 I think Charlie and I were the only two that were like fully honest on that whole question there. I will say that.
Speaker 6
We had an interview. Speaking of Charlie, we had an opportunity to interview him when he got off the show, and we were huge fans of him.
He seemed, I've never met him in person yet.
Speaker 6 Seems like a great-looking guy, has a beautiful British accent.
Speaker 6 What is with it was like the women just on Love Island do not seem to be interested in that guy.
Speaker 6 Do you have any idea why that is i see i don't know like i like are you talking about the girls on the show yeah it's just like yeah even like at the reunion hannah was at you know she was like
Speaker 6 there's a it's a no for me and it was like what i seems like really respectable like i he again i haven't met him in person but the energy he gave is like kind and thoughtful i'm just like trying to figure out why he's not a hot commodity with with the the women of the cast.
Speaker 2 I don't share on the women of of the cast by they don't i know i mean i know they all find him attractive i just don't think they find him their attractive their personal attractive you know what i mean
Speaker 2 but uh but yeah the american girls do love charlie the accent gets him far so charlie's doing we can verify charlie's doing just fine charlie is doing fine yeah okay yeah

Speaker 4 What was it like? I don't know if you were zoned in or zoned out at this moment, but when they were replaying Huda's montage of Hurricane Huda and she was
Speaker 4 belly laughing. What was kind of your reaction to that?
Speaker 2 You know, a lot of it comes to like, you know,
Speaker 2 you weren't really laughing when we were like in there, you know, like, especially like the pancake thing, like it was funny. Like you're like, oh my god, that's so funny.
Speaker 2 You know, I can't believe how funny it was. Like in there, you didn't necessarily think it was that funny and you didn't think it wasn't a big deal.
Speaker 2 But yeah, you know, I think kind of to what Andy Cohen said, like, you know, how much growing can you do in a month and a half?
Speaker 2
And I mean, I know for me, I wasn't the most popular person to come off the show. Huda was one of the more popular persons, and I've had a full schedule.
So I've not had time for therapy.
Speaker 2
So I definitely don't know how you have had time for therapy in the last month and a half and have done all this growing. But if she has, more power to her.
I mean,
Speaker 2
at the end of the day, I do like Huda. I do like her.
She's just, you know, she's a bit crazy.
Speaker 2 But who doesn't love, you know, who doesn't love a bit crazy, you know?
Speaker 6 I, I, you know, like, like you, you know, what I loved about Huda watching this is she seems to keep it real.
Speaker 6 And I don't think anyone can take that away from her is that at least on Love Island, she kept it 100. I don't think she kept it very 100 at the reunion when asked about her relationship
Speaker 6 and was clearly lying.
Speaker 6 And then making up all these excuses.
Speaker 6 Like Netflix definitely isn't stopping her from speaking on her reunion.
Speaker 7 What did you think of that?
Speaker 6 We all know that Louie, the guy she is now dating, is on another dating reality TV show,
Speaker 6 which is over, which is done filming, but it hasn't aired yet.
Speaker 7 That one.
Speaker 6 Yeah, but what did you think of all that? Did you want more accountability in general from Huda?
Speaker 6 And did you find it as ridiculous as I think everyone did that she, you know, acted as if like she was above it all? And then she posted something later on.
Speaker 6
It's just like she felt pressured from Ariana and Andy. They asked several times.
It's just like she didn't want to speak on her relationship.
Speaker 6 It's like, you guys, like, this show did make you all famous.
Speaker 6
Like, I hope you guys remember that, so to speak, as if, and now, but now she's like too good to like speak about her relationship on the show. I don't know.
What did you think about all that?
Speaker 2 You know, I thought the Netflix comment was for sure, you know, a little strange,
Speaker 2 for sure.
Speaker 7 But
Speaker 2
I mean, at the end of the day, if she doesn't want to speak on it, she doesn't have to. But to the point that you are making, we were on a dating show.
People are interested in your love life.
Speaker 2 And that guy, I don't know who he is, but he was on a dating show too. So it's like people are interested in his love life as well.
Speaker 2 So it's like you can't go into something expecting not to be asked about it.
Speaker 4
I feel like it was just like the lie of it all. It's like, and clearly Netflix is kind of poking fun and being like, don't add us.
Like, we don't know.
Speaker 7 Yeah, that was funny.
Speaker 6 For an employer, Netflix, we can, we can verify they will not stop you from speaking
Speaker 6 about your personal life.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I don't know. I didn't pay it too much mind.
Speaker 2 Definitely didn't pay it too much mind, but it's just like, you know, she was pretty PR'd up during the whole thing, I think. I mean, I think that's a pretty fair consensus.
Speaker 2
And it's not like a shade thing. She just, she was very careful with how she was answering everything.
You know what I mean?
Speaker 7 Yeah. And
Speaker 2 yeah, so I mean, that doesn't make for too much fun.
Speaker 7 I think we were all expecting a little more. Okay.
Speaker 4 You recently came out and said some things weren't shown from like what Amaya has has said.
Speaker 7 Is there anything that you can kind of clear up about that statement?
Speaker 2 Well, just like, you know, I think during that stand-on business challenge, there was,
Speaker 2 yes, definitely could have changed my tone.
Speaker 2 But they didn't show things leading up to thing.
Speaker 2 Like every time that Zach or I would talk, she'd be like you fucking pussy you little pussy ass bitch and then so it's like eventually like holy shit stop coming at me like let me talk and uh yeah so like that's like the only thing but like you know it's water under the bridge like i i just talked to a maya the other day like we're all cool now but yeah like there i mean there was just there was a lot that that wasn't shown in that uh stand-on business channel.
Speaker 2 It was, it was, it was so funny being there. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 7 But yeah, yeah, there was a lot.
Speaker 7 Are you close with Brian at all?
Speaker 2
I'm not that close with Brian. Like, we're friends.
Not super, like, I don't talk to him that often. I haven't talked to him.
Yeah, so I don't really know what's going on there.
Speaker 4 Did you see the clip of them doing some interview all together? And I think it landed on Brian of like who was the most attractive family member that came in.
Speaker 4 And he went like on and on and on about Huda's sister.
Speaker 7 Like really? Right next to him. Really?
Speaker 2 I think I did see something about like Amaya was like some rumor was like Amaya got rubbed the wrong way for it.
Speaker 6 It's like, bro, just plead the fifth.
Speaker 7 Yeah, yeah. You could have been like Nick's mom.
Speaker 6 Not to beat a dead horse about the standing out business, but you know, when it happened, I gave you and a lot of the other men shit because it felt like, at least with what we saw, that like you guys were piling on Amaya.
Speaker 6 Where it was like, here's this girl crying and you guys were like, and this, and you did this, and I don't know why you do that.
Speaker 6 Like, can you like shed some light as like, did it, did it play out a different way? Or were you caught up in the moment?
Speaker 6 Or like, why did it feel like the guys took that opportunity to just really let Amaya know all your little ticks and icks about her? Okay.
Speaker 2 So I think
Speaker 2 the reason why I took so long to tell Amaya, because I saw how things went with Ace and then I saw the fallout of that afterwards.
Speaker 2 Now, everybody has their own experiences, everybody goes about things differently, so maybe you know it would have happened differently if I would have said, like, hey, you know what, like, I'm just not feeling this, and like, you know, this, that.
Speaker 2 But I was so
Speaker 2 like, it just looked like Ace was going through so much drama after he told Amaya, like, hey, this is what I'm not comfortable with, and stuff. So, then that's why I didn't say anything.
Speaker 2 And then I feel like, okay, there was the deflection at the reunion, you know, onto Amaya. Definitely, you know, I think a lot of it was the side.
Speaker 2 They didn't show a lot of the side comments because anytime like Ace, me, or Zach were talking, it was, uh, it was just like, you're a fucking pussy.
Speaker 2 Like, it just kept, it just kept going and it just kept going, like egging on, egging on, egging on.
Speaker 2 So I think that's why, like,
Speaker 2 after one thing went out on Amaya, everyone was like, oh man, like, I can also say this because if she's going to get, if she's going to be mad, she'll just be mad at all of us.
Speaker 2 So I think that's kind of how
Speaker 2 it went. Because it was like, I like, because I truly do.
Speaker 2
I love Amaya. I really do.
Romantically, we do not gel. We do not gel.
But I think she is so, she's one of the funniest fucking people I've ever met. Oh, my God.
Speaker 2 Every single day she was making me laugh my ass off.
Speaker 2 But she does.
Speaker 2 If every single, if every guy is saying that you're moving too fast i don't think it's every single every everyone else and i do think and i think she just has a lot of love in her and she saw you know shelly and ace she saw nick and sierra when you know sierra was in the thing and she saw like how strong of a bond they had and like the time you know she saw the bond they had but was kind of forgetting the time it took to get there and wanted they just wanted it right away so she wanted to like latch on right away and she wanted you guys, like, and it's like, not everybody can do that.
Speaker 2 I, like, I, I mean, I know I can't do that. And, um,
Speaker 2
but yeah. So then, I mean, yes, definitely.
It was not, it was not a good look of us going at Amaya and we shouldn't have gone at her.
Speaker 2 But there was also a lot not shown of, and it made us look a lot worse than probably if the full thing was shown.
Speaker 2 It'd be like, oh, like, they're still dicks, but like, I, like, I see how you got to that point. Like before it was like, okay, you just didn't see how we got to that point, if that makes sense.
Speaker 2 Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 When you got sent home,
Speaker 6 Alandria was the only one who had your back, which I thought was just a really charming moment.
Speaker 6 And it, you know, it's, it's those moments where you maybe there's a bond or a friendship revealed that we didn't really get to see as much.
Speaker 6 And it's so it clearly, I mean, the fact that Alandria had your back, there was clearly a bond and a friendship. Can you speak to that friendship that you guys developed in the villa?
Speaker 6 And is that something you've been able to maintain outside of the villa now that Nick and Alandria are a thing and I'm sure focusing on their relationship?
Speaker 2 Yeah, so Alandria was the first person in the villa that I opened up to because I went in,
Speaker 2 Jeremiah, Ace, Nick, all of them have done acting, modeling, social media, some of that stuff before where they've been in front of a camera.
Speaker 2 Like I watched my first episode and I haven't watched anything else because I was so like cringed out by myself. I was like, oh my god, like I just looked like I was deer in headlights.
Speaker 2
And so I was having such a hard time connecting with those guys at first. And like, just because like we just came from two different worlds.
Like, I mean, I was working a blue-collar job.
Speaker 2 And so it was just, it was so weird at first. And then, so, I talked to Elangia, and like, she just, she got like, we just got each other to open up so easily.
Speaker 2 Like, she's just, she's such a great friend, and she's super understanding. And she gives great advice too.
Speaker 2 But yeah i mean her and i had so many like conversations that i guess weren't shown of like just like you know always being there for each other always checking in on each other making sure each other's okay like i mean and uh she was she was the one that she like told the guys like she's like austin's a good guy you guys better like make him feel like she was going to ride she was riding for me when i wasn't even like around there it was like it just it shows like just who she is she's such an awesome awesome awesome woman yeah so then when she stood behind me it it meant so much.
Speaker 2
Like it was, it was super cool. One thing that people don't know, I did like, cause there was a few guys that were going to stand behind me.
I wanted to go home so bad. I was so ready to go home.
Speaker 2 I wanted to leave so, so, so, so bad. And yeah, just because all my friends kept leaving, I was just kind of done.
Speaker 2
And if Jaden wasn't going to be there, then it was like only one of us were going to stay. So then if Jaden was going to leave, then, or like, I was going to, like, I wouldn't want to be there.
Yeah.
Speaker 2
Like without even having a connection. The one connection I finally did find left.
And then it'd be like, okay, I wouldn't want to be here anyways. Yeah.
Speaker 2 So yeah, before we were going, I was like, if it comes down to a vote, please, none of you guys stand behind me. Please, none of you.
Speaker 2 Yeah, so that's why people are like, oh, see, none of the guys stood behind Austin for this, that reason. None of them stood behind me because I fucking asked them not to stand behind me.
Speaker 2
Because Zach was fighting me on it tooth and nail. And I was like, please.
do not. And like, I was thinking about the pasta bolognese.
Speaker 2 As soon as I figured out, as soon as I figured out that, like, okay, this is going to be
Speaker 2
down to a vote, I was like, oh, pasta bolognese at the the hotel. God, I can't wait to sleep in.
Like, oh my gosh, I can't wait to get back, maybe smoke a little weed or something.
Speaker 7 And
Speaker 7 like that,
Speaker 7 I got so excited for what was to come. I was like, oh, my God, thank God.
Speaker 2
And yeah, so, but yeah, having Alandria stand behind me, like, oh, fucking A. Like that, it felt, it felt so cool.
It was a great moment.
Speaker 6 Yeah, just, you know, and thanks for shedding that light and giving us that behind the scenes.
Speaker 6 But yeah, it just, I think Alandria has been a fan favorite for, she's been a huge favorite favorite of ours, America's, but like, I, I just always love, especially in reality TV, and I've said this as somebody who's been on it before and talking about Love Island, it's such a high school environment where it's just like the bully is the house, it's the majority.
Speaker 6 It's, it's so scary to be an outsider, you know, it's so scary to like, you know, see the majority go one way and to think differently the majority and stand on your own.
Speaker 6 And I think that represented like Alandria's like braveness and who she is. And it was just a cool moment to see.
Speaker 6 And I'm glad we got to see it, even though you wanted to go home and smoke a little weed and eat some pasta.
Speaker 7 Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 6 Is there any light you could shed on the unfollowing of Iris and Pepe or, you know, TJ's been kind of trolling us with some
Speaker 6 fingernails that look shockingly similar to Iris's?
Speaker 2 Did you see the TJ's TikTok where he didn't like put any caption on it? The wing?
Speaker 7 Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 7
That was iconic. That was great.
I was like, what's that audio?
Speaker 6 That was great.
Speaker 7 Yeah, man. It was great.
Speaker 6 But, yeah, I mean, and then like the next day, Brian and Amaya unfollow each other. There seems to be a clear division with some of the cast.
Speaker 2 What I think is, I think we had the reunion too soon.
Speaker 2 I don't think it makes sense to have a reunion basically a month after. I mean, because obviously it's been two weeks since the reunion's been filmed and everything has fallen to shit.
Speaker 2 So, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 But do you think they were waiting to film the reunion to then end their relationships?
Speaker 2
Or see, I don't know if it was planned like that. Okay.
Um, I think it happened like that. Um, but I do, I think the reunion should be like three, four months down the line.
Speaker 6 Do you know what happened in either of those relationships?
Speaker 2
I have no idea what happened in either. Um, I haven't talked to Brian or Amaya since that.
My mom was my mom's way too on this shit, dude.
Speaker 7 My mom knows
Speaker 7 what does does your mom think? They always do.
Speaker 2
My mom was asking me what happened. I'm like, you're telling me that this happened.
I didn't even know it happened. And,
Speaker 7 but,
Speaker 2
yeah, no, I'm not sure on the Brian and Maya thing. I haven't talked to either of them since it happened.
I've talked to Iris a little bit.
Speaker 2 I'm not really sure, you know,
Speaker 2
what's going down. I'll let her speak on that.
But yeah,
Speaker 2 I think the reunion should have waited.
Speaker 2 I think they should have filmed it.
Speaker 7 You know, are you
Speaker 4 Team Pepe or Team Iris currently?
Speaker 7
With the information that you know. If you had to pick.
If you had. Yeah.
Speaker 2 If I had to pick,
Speaker 2 I would be wearing a Team Iris shirt with Team Pepe on the back.
Speaker 10 Yeah, you're like the parents with Travis and I'm like, Loki, though.
Speaker 7 Loki.
Speaker 2 I've teamed both of them. You know, I want the best for both of them.
Speaker 7 But for CITES.
Speaker 2 Yeah, but I do, you know, yeah, I don't know what happened there.
Speaker 7 Okay.
Speaker 6 Do you feel like they'll be cool or do you feel like there's a little bit of hurt feelings, at least for anyone?
Speaker 2 I mean, I'm sure everything will, you know, end all be all fine. I'm sure, you know, feelings are.
Speaker 4 Iris seems, obviously, we talked to her and she was like,
Speaker 4
very made it made it very clear that she's not a drama girl. She's like, I don't want to be in drama.
I don't like talking about drama. Like, she's just like, that's just not me.
Speaker 4 So it seems like something that we're not going to get like some big tell-all from Iris. She's not going to like drag this out.
Speaker 4 I feel like eventually her and Pepe will be cool because she just doesn't need the drama in her life. I very much feel like she's that kind of girl.
Speaker 2 Yeah, no, I agree. She's definitely, she's definitely one of the least drama people.
Speaker 6 like ever she's but human human i really respect but as a host on a show that has a lot of drama yeah
Speaker 6 a little bummed you know it's like
Speaker 6
yeah uh so what's next for you austin like you know obviously a lot of people go on these shows. There's a whole career that, you know, they unveil.
They're doing lives. They're doing deals.
Speaker 6 I mean, and I listen, you're not going to hear from me as someone who's made an entire career off of going on reality TV because I feel like a lot of times it feels like a loaded question.
Speaker 6 It's like, do you want to be famous? You know, like, but like you also seem to be like a down-to-earth guy. What do you want to do with this, if anything, at all? And what do you what is next for you?
Speaker 2 Um, I really want to get in comedy.
Speaker 2 So, uh, I a lot of my friends and I, like, growing up, like in high school and stuff i went to an all boys boarding school growing up so it's like you know you're all
Speaker 2 boys when they're all together with just other boys they come up with really stupid things but so we'd we'd like fake write these like screenplays and stuff and like little skits and uh so yeah i'm gonna i'm gonna do with a couple of back home buddies but i want to do uh just like little youtube skits stuff like that uh get into like some animation
Speaker 2
like yeah adult animation like com adult sitcom animation like family guy rick Rick and Morty type stuff. But yeah, I definitely want to go like comedy route.
Maybe stand-up. I just, I don't know.
Speaker 2
I don't know. I do like storytelling, stand-up, or something.
I don't know.
Speaker 7 That'd be cool. I love that for you.
Speaker 2
Yeah. Stay in the comedy sector, though, for sure.
I'd love to make it in that world.
Speaker 6 Who are some of your favorite comics?
Speaker 2 Shane Gillis, Mark Norman, Ari Shafir.
Speaker 6 We had Ariana.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I love Ari. Ari's super funny.
Speaker 2
I really want to meet him. Kill Tony, of course.
I mean, what he's built is fucking insane.
Speaker 2 Yeah, and then Cat Williams is pretty funny. I like him on podcasts better than I like his stand-up.
Speaker 6
I know you're a big Jersey Shore fan. A couple, when I first met Natalie, she was a normie.
And I brought her to the MTV Unscripted Awards.
Speaker 6 And I wasn't a big Jersey Shore fan, but we sat at the table with the entire cast of Jersey Shore.
Speaker 6 And I've never seen Natalie freak out so much because she was like, oh my God, I'm obsessed with these people.
Speaker 7 And like, Suki and Jay Wow are some of the friends.
Speaker 6 we have since become friends with jaywow she came to our wedding but um
Speaker 2 yeah like you're big fans have you got a chance to talk to any of them i think did so i've yeah i've talked to angelina a little bit dm back and forth there i've talked to poly i love poly d i am a huge poly d fan i've been a poly d fan forever i think he's he's iconic he's iconic he's the og reality tv guy but yeah i'm trying to do something with him we're trying to work it out figure our schedules and see if, you know, we can line something up.
Speaker 7 But yeah, yeah, I've talked to him.
Speaker 2
I'd love to talk to Mike too. Mike seems like a really cool guy.
Same with any. But
Speaker 2 yeah, I'm a big Paul D fan. And yeah, he hit me up after the show and
Speaker 7 I felt pretty cool.
Speaker 6 Almost 20 years ago when I lived in Milwaukee, before I did any of this bullshit, I was at a tanning salon.
Speaker 6 And it was like the middle of winter and I was about to like go on vacation.
Speaker 6 And if you're from Wisconsin, like that was if you went to Florida, you would go to the tanning salon salon and Pauli D was in there because it was doing some DJ set.
Speaker 6
And like all the women in the tanning salon were like freaking out. And I just remember being like, oh, shit, that was that was Pauli D.
It was just a random thing. It was like 20 years ago.
Speaker 2 Yeah, no, it's so funny. Like, cause even like,
Speaker 2
okay, so like even going out like in the public and stuff, like. Girls be like, oh my God, it's awesome for love.
And then their boyfriend or like brother will be standing like, who the fuck is that?
Speaker 7 You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 And it's so funny because like, it's like, that, that definitely, like, I'm that guy, but I'm also that guy that's being holy shitted now. So it's kind of crazy.
Speaker 7 I'm both.
Speaker 4 Look at you, full circle.
Speaker 6
Love Island Games. I don't know if you could tell us if you're on the next season.
If you're not. Is that something, do you want to come back and do reality TV again?
Speaker 6 Or are you like one and done and you want to focus maybe on a possible comedy career?
Speaker 2 I'd, I mean, I'd, I would do like survivor or like wipeout or some shit.
Speaker 7

Speaker 6 Should we play six degrees of separation before we let Austin go with Scott Dissek to see how we can hook up Austin and
Speaker 6 Scott Dissek? Is that what you want to do, Leo?
Speaker 9 Austin Shepard appeared on Love Island USA. Love Island contestants often attend reality TV after parties with other Bravo slash MTV stars.
Speaker 9 Larsa Pippin, who also has connections to multiple reality TV events, has attended parties with Love Island cast members. Larsa Pippin is close friends with the Kardashian family.
Speaker 9 Well, as we know, Larsa had a big falling out with the Kardashians, so this seems to be a little out of date, but maybe they've made amends and they just don't know about it.
Speaker 9 Scott Disick is part of the Kardashian family circle and regularly appears at events with Larsa. So Larsa Pippin.
Speaker 6 There you go. There she is.
Speaker 7 Lara, that's your connect.
Speaker 4 Isn't she
Speaker 2 a little bronze or something? I don't know. Larson.
Speaker 10 She's a housewife.
Speaker 2 She was a housewife. Isn't she doing other stuff now?
Speaker 6 She is a housewife. She's also the ex-wife of Scotty Pippen and then dating Michael Jordan's son.
Speaker 2 That's what it was.
