What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Vile Files Reality Recap Edition. I am your host, Nick.
I am tired.
Speaker 1 We went to BravoCon. I'm joined by
Speaker 1 glamorous,
Speaker 1
sophisticated, charming. Fergalicious.
Fergalicious wife, Natalie Joy.
Speaker 3 Single parent, Natalie Joy.
Speaker 2 She was a single parent this weekend.
Speaker 1 I was without family for three days, which is the longest ever.
Speaker 2 Four days.
Speaker 1 Three nights, four days.
Speaker 3 You don't consider Sierra, Leia, and Justin your family?
Speaker 2 Yeah, what?
Speaker 1 Not in the same way I consider my wife and daughter.
Speaker 2 Oh, that's fair.
Speaker 3 I really can't argue that, I guess.
Speaker 2
Well, I do have a point. Yeah.
Yeah. Mike drop.
Yeah.
Speaker 1
Well, anyways, we got a lot to get into. Obviously, BravoCon was this past weekend.
I feel like my brain is scrambled. It's fried.
It's tired.
Speaker 3 Nick hasn't said one word to me because I feel like he talked so much in the last four days that he's like talked out.
Speaker 2 Oh, I was gonna say that.
Speaker 1
I mean, I am a grumpy bear right now. I'm tired.
I'm cranky.
Speaker 1
I never didn't sleep at all last night. Anyway, so much to get into.
Guys, it is a jam-packed week this week. We have not one, not two, not three, not four
Speaker 1
episodes to bring you, but five episodes coming hot this week. Obviously, we had asked Nick yesterday.
We have reality recap today to talk about all things. Well, BravoCon.
Speaker 1 Later this episode, we have, and I'm very excited about this, Randall Cobb, formerly of the Green Bay Packers and now on Special Forces, joins us. It's a great conversation.
Speaker 1 Randall is a Green Bay Packer legend, so I'm personally excited, but also a great family man. He's dealt with some like really fascinating adversity.
Speaker 1
Him and his wife experienced a fire in their house with kids. It's a crazy story.
He talks about it and just like, what's life like following football in his career?
Speaker 1 It's a really great conversation and really just fun for me to talk to a Green Bay Packer legend. So really excited for you guys to hear that conversation.
Speaker 1
We got the Secret Lives of Mormon wives to get into. Obviously, the episodes are out now.
We'll cover the first three episodes today.
Speaker 1 Tomorrow's Going Deeper.
Speaker 1
Just get ready for it. It's explosive.
We have Jesse Draper, formerly known as Jesse Nadikari. Naughty Kari.
Speaker 2 Naughty Kari.
Speaker 1 Naughty Kari.
Speaker 2 Well, not our last name anymore, either way.
Speaker 1
We'll get into why. That is coming up this.
Well, it's guys. First of all,
Speaker 1 it's a biophiles first if we're going deeper. It's a two-parter.
Speaker 3 Wow. It needed to be.
Speaker 1
Part one, I think we mentioned this last week, is me, Jesse, and Natalie. We sit down.
She talks about everything going on this episode.
Speaker 1 Obviously, the allegations with her affair with Marciano, but what prompted that, her relationship with Jordan will be highlighted and featured in these next two episodes.
Speaker 1 And not going to lie,
Speaker 1 there's some harsh realities and truths about,
Speaker 1 I don't know, I'm curious what people think. I mean, the main topic of these next two episodes is really this behavior of Jordan.
Speaker 1 And I'm curious what the audience will think and what empathy they might have for Jesse.
Speaker 1 But we really get into the weeds of their marriage and what caused this falling out and are they going to be able to work on things?
Speaker 1 Well, it looks like Jesse and Jordan put their house up for sale, leading to more speculation about their marriage. We have all your burning questions answered.
Speaker 1 Part two, following next week, it'll be, it opens up with me sitting down with Jordan and asking him about some of his thoughts on his behavior, their marriage, their relationship, following the things that Jesse will say about their relationship.
Speaker 1
It is jaw-dropping. It's also just, it might be triggering.
I don't know for people out there. It's a jaw-dropping next couple episodes.
Also, I think we got some housewives joining us this week.
Speaker 1 Thursday's episode of Really Recap. Can't confirm who yet.
Speaker 1
There's a lot of conversations going on post-BravoCon. And then on Friday, it's a Vilefows special, the Special Forces reunion, hosted by the Vile Fowles.
Yours truly and my glamorous,
Speaker 1
fergalicious wife, Natalie Joy, will be joining me as we interview the finalist of Season 4 Special Forces. That is dropping this Friday.
So be sure to check that out. We have
Speaker 1 an all-star lineup.
Speaker 3 We've got Brianna Lepaglia, Gia Judice, Sean Johnson East, her husband Andrew East, and Cody Brown.
Speaker 1 All All the finalists of this season of Special Forces, that will be this Friday. So it's a jam-packed week, people.
Speaker 1

You're going to be with us all week, and we appreciate it. Don't forget, Vile Files Plus is ready and waiting for you.
Speaker 1
We got some great stuff and more stuff coming your way soon. We got our deep dives, all your favorite conversations.
We did not get to talk about this week, all your favorite shows.
Speaker 1 Obviously, we cover so many shows when it comes to Reality Recap, but we deep dive on many of of these shows on Vile Files Plus, plus your pop culture roundup, all your favorite pop culture topics we didn't get to talk about, and your update specials.

Speaker 1 And this is the first time I think we've really, we've had merch before. We dabbled in it.
Speaker 1 This is something we like the household us my wife we really put our heart and soul into this and I am proud to put the vile files logo on this merch now they came up with design a couple years ago but it took two years to find a vendor and a partner that we really liked we want to give you guys like good quality material like things that look good on you that are comfortable that you want to put on your body We really feel good about this.

Speaker 1 How do you guys want to start? We're going to talk about our experience. You want to get into some of the big headlines like Vicki Dung.
Speaker 3 I feel like I obviously have not spoken to Nick. I've really tried to like not ask any questions.
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 3 he got home late and he pounced on me and I was scared.
Speaker 2 No, I wasn't scared. It was in the middle of the night and I was like, oh my God, I was asleep.
Speaker 2 Welcome home, honey.
Speaker 1 Yeah, I'm going to see my wife for three nights.
Speaker 2 So we didn't talk much.
Speaker 3 Bravo, con, you know, not much talking going on.
Speaker 2 A lot of lip talk and not
Speaker 2 lip service over there.
Speaker 3 Their lips were doing other things.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 3 Anyways, but I was stunned to see Nick's carousel on Instagram. First photo, Lisa Barlow.
Speaker 2 Lisa Barlow? Oh, yes.
Speaker 3 So I have lots of questions.
Speaker 3 I would like to start this.
Speaker 1 We met a lot of housewives. And I got to say,
Speaker 1 there were some surprises with my interactions.
Speaker 2 Can we start with Lisa?
Speaker 1 We will. But
Speaker 1 some were nicer and more pleasant in person than I imagined, and others weren't.
Speaker 3
Also, there were more that were in that carousel that we just didn't get pictures with. Yeah.
Because it was like we'd walk away and was like, oh, we should take a picture.
Speaker 1 I need to pause in the Lisa Barlow for a second because we have to roast Justin.
Speaker 2 Yes, we do. We did story.
Speaker 3 He almost killed me.
Speaker 2 He killed you.
Speaker 3 I almost died. I almost died.
Speaker 4 In the name of Lisa Barlow, this is a big setup, and y'all are liars.
Speaker 2 And he will go the distance to prove.
Speaker 1 Justin is currently in New York preparing for our Special Forces reunion following BravoCon. Justin took a red eye
Speaker 1 from Las Vegas to New York.
Speaker 2 So Justin truly is burning influence.
Speaker 2 Did I?
Speaker 1
No. Anyways, in preparation for BravoCon, I said to my team, book the hotels and the tickets.
Justin Justin seemed to have
Speaker 2 been savvy.
Speaker 3 Justin savvy, financially savvy.
Speaker 1 Justin is, I will appreciate, frugal with my money.
Speaker 2 Frugal. Yes, he is.
Speaker 1 So I do want to acknowledge and appreciate that.
Speaker 3 Y'all should see the hotels he's trying to do.
Speaker 1
I was like, let's just stay in somewhere nice. Like, we don't have to go crazy, but like, pick a nice hotel, find out where people are going.
I don't know, do your research, whatever.
Speaker 1 Then at one point, Justin asked me if I wanted a special room.
Speaker 2 Oh, like a suite. Like a suite.
Speaker 2
Can you imagine? And I I was like, no, Justin, don't worry. I'm one of you.
Just get me a normal room. You know, I don't need that.
Speaker 2
Would be the time you fly first class, you get a penthouse, you're like, I'm not with my wife and my daughter. Let's go.
Let's get the penthouse. Whatever.
Speaker 1
I flew Southwest. Shout out Southwest.
Justin booked us.
Speaker 1
And I was a bit surprised at first. I wasn't really paying attention.
The night before I went to BravoCon, Victoria came over, our friend. She's like, Where are you staying?
Speaker 1 I'm like, I think Caesar's Palace. She's like, oh, nice.
Speaker 2 And I'm like, turns out I was wrong.
Speaker 1
I wasn't really paying attention. I show up in Vegas and I'm like, like, oh, I look at the itinerary.
I'm like, oh, we're going.
Speaker 1 Oh, no.
Speaker 2 And I was like, maybe they have some fancy upgrade.
Speaker 1
Now, there was a reason in Justin's defense. Well, we, he got, he got directed.
Let's, well, let's leave it at that. Um, and then Justin just booked it.
Speaker 1 And it's like a hotel that hasn't seemed to have much of a
Speaker 1 makeover since 1973.
Speaker 3
Yes. You walk out into the hallway, the lights flicker.
It's dark. It's cold.
Speaker 2
I'm kidding. Oh, it's dark.
It's cold.
Speaker 3 There's blood on the walls.
Speaker 2 I get in.
Speaker 1 I get in first. I'm like, so why are we staying here?
Speaker 2 Leia laughs at the comment.
Speaker 1 Leia hadn't checked in yet.
Speaker 1 I thought there was like a catcher. Like, there's, I don't know, something.
Speaker 3 It's like, matter of fact, I want the penthouse.
Speaker 2 I don't think the penthouse would have been much better.
Speaker 1
Anyways, then we go to, we go to get dinner. It's me, Sierra, and Justin.
We're waiting on Leia. Leia's about to join us.
And then all of a sudden, Justin gets a text that like Leia was checking.
Speaker 1 no but then well then Leia tries to check in and then the rooms are under Justin's name so Leia can't get in and Justin's trying to help Leia then we think we help Leia and then all of a sudden we get a text from Leia that she passed out
Speaker 2 in the lobby oh my gosh oh I heard about this she just passed out she woke up with paramedics
Speaker 2 What? Wait, Leia, what happened?
Speaker 1 She doesn't remember.
Speaker 3
It was the smells. It was the lights.
It was the everything. I just.
Speaker 4 The crazy part was I was on the phone with them saying, my wife is stranded in the lobby and like needs a room. Why, why did you need it?
Speaker 2
You're on the phone. I was like, sir.
We know.
Speaker 4 No, this always works when you say my wife. So I was saying, my wife.
Speaker 3 I passed out.
Speaker 2 And now the person on the phone was like, wife.
Speaker 3 Yeah. Diva, my wife is on the line.
Speaker 2 Girl.
Speaker 3
By the way, I was Mrs. Phillips all weekend.
I was Mrs. Phillips all weekend.
Speaker 2 Oh my God. Congratulations, you two.
Speaker 1 Justin saying my wife didn't work.
Speaker 3 Me passing out on the floor didn't work. I still couldn't get a room.
Speaker 2 Oh my god.
Speaker 4 The crazy part is,
Speaker 4
I said, my pregnant wife is stranded in the lobby. Why did you name my room Justin's second room? I gave you her name.
So I was like, what is this?
Speaker 4
And she passes out somewhere in the between of me being on the phone with them. Oh my God.
Because they were like, we can't do anything. We can't do anything.
You have to be here to let her in.
Speaker 3 Wait, did Leia make it to dinner?
Speaker 2 No, did not. I swear.
Speaker 3
I ordered Chipotle. But this very nice woman named Jacqueline, shout out Jaclyn, saved my life.
She was there.
Speaker 3 And then Sierra came and helped me.
Speaker 2 And Nick and Justin didn't come to help you. No, we
Speaker 1 got dinner.
Speaker 2 They got dinner.
Speaker 2 Well, how many are how many people you need to screw in a light bulb?
Speaker 1 Like, what were you gonna do?
Speaker 2 We were like, there were a lot of people there.
Speaker 1
Like, you know, Leia was like, I'm fine. I'm going to my room.
Let us know if you guys need anything.
Speaker 3 Well, Sierra's room, because I still did not get a room after all.
Speaker 1 Meanwhile, no, what Justin and I were doing were getting us rooms at the Encore.
Speaker 2 So we're surprised they were worried.
Speaker 2 So were we.
Speaker 3 But, anyways, encore slash the wind lovely really nice hotel if i if i hadn't passed out would you have still moved us to the encore i wasn't staying there was no way no no would you have left us no i know sierra would not have stayed her bougie ass would have been like guys i'm out
Speaker 3 i actually had a reservation
Speaker 3 okay so now can we get back to lisa barlow or yeah yeah yeah sorry i don't
Speaker 3 actually just care about the delay of passing out can i give nick his flowers for two seconds because i will say he was going up talking to all the housewives, talking to all the Bravo talent.
Speaker 3
Nick worked really hard at that European wax center. I have never seen him hug, smile, small talk with so many people back to back.
He made so many people's days.
Speaker 3 So I was like, that was really nice to see Nick.
Speaker 2 So there's your flowers.
Speaker 2 Was he waxing?
Speaker 1 Anyways, I am emotionally and physically zapped by this introvert.
Speaker 2 So is
Speaker 3 all of you thanks to all of y'all. I won't hear anything from my husband for at least 12 business days.
Speaker 3 The wired headphones are going in.
Speaker 2 Exactly. Exactly.
Speaker 2 I won't hear a peep on that airplane in New York City. I'll tell you what.
Speaker 2 Nope.
Speaker 1 Well, Lisa Barlow. Anyways,
Speaker 1 it was three days of the making.
Speaker 1
On day one, I saw Lisa show up to the convention center with John, I believe her husband is. I called him Mr.
Parallel Parker when I met him.
Speaker 2 I like that better now. It was a sport.
Speaker 1
It was a sport. I did not approach Lisa on day one.
I was like, I don't know.
Speaker 3 But you did approach John.
Speaker 1
Nope. No one.
On day two, I saw Lisa kind of walk past me from a distance. Justin was like, go talk to her.
Go talk to her.
Speaker 3 And Nick wouldn't go the distance.
Speaker 1
I didn't go the distance. He played it cool.
On day three,
Speaker 1 Lisa, we were in backstage and Lisa walked up and I stepped in front of her. And I said, Lisa,
Speaker 1 I'm Nick. And she goes, you're so mean to me.
Speaker 2 And I go, I know.
Speaker 2 I wasn't going to like pretend like I was like, no, I'm not. Yeah.
Speaker 1 Yeah.
Speaker 1 I got to say, in person, Lisa was incredibly charming.
Speaker 2 I bet.
Speaker 1 She was very Tamra Judge in the sense that she was like, I don't take it personal, which I don't know. I mean, honestly, I was blown away by this version of Lisa Barlow.
Speaker 4 Well, she specifically told you, Nick, she said, if you knew me, you would love me. Yeah.
Speaker 2 And that's all she's doing.
Speaker 1 If you knew me, you would love me. And I'm like, and I'm like, are you going to, so like, I'm like, like, do you want to come on the show? Basically, she said, yes.
Speaker 1 She said she wanted to space it out between, I guess, Brittany.
Speaker 2 Not anyone else.
Speaker 1 But yeah, she was very charming and very lovely in person.
Speaker 3 You also had a cute chit chat with Mary on Day.
Speaker 1 I did.
Speaker 1
Mary was very gracious. She's like, oh, your show is.
famous. And I'm like, she's like, all the big stars go on it.
She was, she was giving me my flowers.
Speaker 1 And I'm like, well, not all the big stars because you haven't come on. And then I pitched Mary and she said she would want to come on, but she said she's wanted to come on before.
Speaker 1 So I'm not so sure how.
Speaker 3 Oh, no, you said I'd fly you out. And she goes, you do that for me?
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 1 No, I said I'd fly to you. And she said,
Speaker 1 I'd like to do that for me. And I said, I'd do anything.
Speaker 2 Wow.
Speaker 3 And you also had a great chat with Angie.
Speaker 2 Yes.
Speaker 1 Angie, she said that she hasn't come on yet because I said something mean. And I'm like, well, what did I say? And she's like, I don't remember.
Speaker 3 but we said we'd find it and she said if you apologize and nick said he would uh and i said yeah and i said please so we have to find it what did we say
Speaker 3 i would never say a mean word about angie katsaneva so we do love angie that's we do love angie ran into whitney and justin lovely got to meet justin for their first time i mean really honestly everyone was super lovely wait can i mention something that happened at the real housewives of salt lake city panel what brittany was asked about her and jared's relationship status and she was like, he's actually here.
Speaker 3 And Jared stands up in the entire crowd booth.
Speaker 2 She saw right down
Speaker 2 or you couldn't even find him.
Speaker 3
The camera couldn't find him. That's how quickly he sat down.
Oh, my God. I want to know, okay, let's go round robin style.
Speaker 3 I want to go around the room and know everyone's favorite moment for BravoCon.
Speaker 1 When Lisa knew exactly who Justin was.
Speaker 3 Wait, what did she say, Justin? I heard they had a 20-minute conversation.
Speaker 4 In my head, it was 20 minutes. She went up to Nick and then looked at me and goes, I know you.
Speaker 4 And let's just say, when people feel seen and when people feel like someone stood up for them and for the truth, they know who you are. And I love you, Lisa.
Speaker 2 Wait, what have you stood up for with Lisa? She's always defending.
Speaker 1 He's never talked shit about Lisa.
Speaker 2 That is true.
Speaker 4 And she just said, Thank you for knowing who I am and seeing me for who I am. And I said, you know what? I love everybody, but they'll never make me hate you.
Speaker 3 Nick, that's sweet that that's your favorite moment from BravoCon.
Speaker 2 That is sweet.
Speaker 3 Well, Justin, what's your favorite moment for BravoCon? Besides that, because Nick already took it.
Speaker 4
Every housewife, literally any of them. Sutton, Ashley Darby, Robin Dixon, all the Salt Lake City, all of the Atlanta housewives.
The Atlanta panel was crazy.
Speaker 2 It was like a scene out of the show.
Speaker 3
It was like being at a live reunion. Wow.
Wait, did you meet any Atlanta?
Speaker 1
I didn't meet Portia, which was a bummer. I really wanted to meet her.
Obviously, we saw Cynthia. I briefly met Phaedra.
Speaker 3 Did you meet Stacy?
Speaker 1 I did meet Stacey. Yes.
Speaker 2 Yeah, that was cool.
Speaker 1
She had no idea who we were. I was like, you don't get the respect you deserve.
And she said, thank you. Ashley Darby was lovely.
She's a big fan of us.
Speaker 1 She listens. She said,
Speaker 3 Let's get her on.
Speaker 4 I think Marty Soul looked at Nick and said, I love a man with facial hair or something. What did she say?
Speaker 3 Exactly. And imagine if I would have let you shave.
Speaker 1
I will say, you know, I don't get out much anymore. I'm happily married.
You know, my wife obviously does compliment me from time to time, but time at a time, it's crazy. I got a lot of,
Speaker 1 you're handsome.
Speaker 2 a lot of words, lots of words of affirmation, words of affirmation.
Speaker 3 Somebody thought he was related to Justin Bieber.
Speaker 2 Yeah, got that.
Speaker 1 Were they like that? As a reminder, that I am, in fact, taller in person. Uh, heard that a lot.
Speaker 2 Put that back in your mind.
Speaker 1 I think, well, actually, second, you know, what, Justin, Lisa Barlow recognizing Justin
Speaker 1
was actually not my favorite. It was my second favorite.
My favorite was maybe
Speaker 1 a Bravo fan saying that I was just as hot hot as Craig and Schartz.
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 1
listen, when it comes to BravoCon, first of all, I want to give Bravo NBC, whatever, Peacock. It's an incredible event.
They put out an amazing show, incredibly well organized.
Speaker 1 I was a little nervous about just like, honestly, going
Speaker 1
with like just like Bravo fans being intense online. Lovely people.
It's a great, great community, great, great universe, dedicated fans. Everyone was super lovely.
Speaker 1 It was a really just overall, like a great event and and we are happy that we were a part of it it was uh a lot of fun but when it comes obviously bravo con the bravo celebrities are like king i mean when craig craig craig is the most eligible bachelor in bravo nation he is like michael jackson at this event when craig would walk out people like panties are flying all over the place the pheromones are pheromoning he is i mean they are loving he did look very handsome on stage when i saw the panties he did look handsome he also said he would come on craig austin and Shep all.
Speaker 1 They all said they
Speaker 1 were going to come on. But yeah.
Speaker 3 Bose even.
Speaker 1 The boys of Bravo are hot commodities there. And so for a fan to say that I was as hot as
Speaker 3 Lisa
Speaker 2 got it. You know?
Speaker 2 I don't get out much.
Speaker 1 And I was like, I still got it.
Speaker 2 You know?
Speaker 3 I was going to say, you know, that scene in The Lion King when Simba's on that branch and it's all the wildebeest like running down?
Speaker 3
That's what it felt like being in the crowd when Craig or Shep were like walking by. All of a sudden, it was just like women and I was like, oh my God, I'm going to die here.
This is it.
Speaker 3 I have to wonder like what that does to their mental, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 Nothing right.
Speaker 3 How does that even the team page
Speaker 2 people
Speaker 1 just sweating Craig?
Speaker 3 Did you see Andy Shade, Craig at the Bravos? What'd he do?
Speaker 3 He would just, he was doing a little roast in the beginning to open up the show and he was kind of like, someone who's a hard worker, determined, has a great podcast.
Speaker 3
Those are all words to describe his ex-Page. And it was like, while the spotlight was on him and everything, he was good about it, made a little heart.
I love that. That's cute.
Speaker 3
I'd say, I want to know Leo's favorite. I have two real quick.
One, Phaedra Parks told me that she liked my outfit.
Speaker 3
She was like, I wasn't even talking to her. She was like feet away.
And then she was like, hey, you, like, I really like that outfit. And then I ran right up to her.
Speaker 3 I was like, Phaedra, I love you so much.
Speaker 2
Wow. Wow.
What was the outfit?
Speaker 3 It was like a monochromatic brown
Speaker 3 leather jacket leather shorts brown tights brown turtleneck she's eating ran into tamara judge and she looked at me and she goes i heard you're talking
Speaker 3 oh oh well jennifer lawrence was too typical
Speaker 4 um and then she was like i'm just with you tamara's great camera said talk your shit but not don't have slade or who was the other person Gretchen.
Speaker 2
Gretchen. Probably Gretchen.
No, no, no, no.
Speaker 4 She named dropped someone else, Nick.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 4 Well, Talker talk shit, as long as you don't have Slade on.
Speaker 3 My second favorite moment was just meeting people who love the vile files in the household.
Speaker 3 We had people coming up to us even, and it was so sweet and so exciting to meet people in the wild who listen and watch our show. And they were all so lovely and so nice.
Speaker 3 And that was a huge highlight for me was just getting to meet them. And yeah.
Speaker 2 Oh,
Speaker 3 did that make like all your hard work feel so much more validated? Yeah, 100%.
Speaker 3 100%.
Speaker 3
It was just cool. Like I've never been like recognized before.
So it was like fun to just like hear people like appreciate what we do and love us as a group. And
Speaker 2 yeah, that's funny, really nice. Sierra.
Speaker 3
I agree with Leigh. I was meeting people from that enjoy listening to the podcast and getting to talk to them.
That was really great.
Speaker 3 And then also I really enjoyed being in the press room and getting to talk to all of the Bravo Lebs I've watched for so long. And it was just like one of those like full circle moments.
Speaker 3
I was like, wow, we really like we're here. That's so fucking cool.
Did you have a favorite conversation?
Speaker 3
Off the top of my head, no. I was like, cause it was like everybody.
Like, I was just kind of like Phaedra walking by, having a chit chat. We talked to Kyle Cook for a little bit.
Speaker 3
Like, it was just like, like, cause Carl introduced us to Kyle. Like, it was just like one of those like really weird, like, surreal moments where it was like, wow.
Oh, Carl is so nice.
Speaker 3 He's one of the nicest people.
Speaker 2 Oh, my God.
Speaker 3 Well, I mean, I was not at BravoCon. I was low-key sick in my bed all weekend, but it sounded like so much fun.
Speaker 3 I will say I even have a favorite BravoCon moment from you guys because on Friday, I'm here at the office. I'm going to reenact this moment as if it was happening.
Speaker 3
I'm here at the office and I'm trying to get into the pre-sale to get Haley Williams tickets. And it's run out.
The tour is sold out.
Speaker 3 And I announce to the entire office, they can all testify on this, that I am going to do something very, very dark and drastic because I cannot get Haley Williams tickets. And I am spiraling.
Speaker 3 I'm so upset. And in that moment, I'm texting the group chat saying, I didn't get Haley Williams tickets.
Speaker 2 And then Leia says, look at your phone right now.
Speaker 3
Go on file files, Instagram stories. And it's a video of Meredith Marks saying hi to me.
And I have never felt emotional whiplash like that in my entire life.
Speaker 3 I went from a deep, dark place of sadness not getting Haley Williams tickets to a reminder that my girl.
Speaker 2 Loves me. I love that.
Speaker 3
I have one more funny moment. One of my favorite moments from BravoCon.
We went to a panel that was about like shopping and they started giving out freebies.
Speaker 3 Leia,
Speaker 2 tell the story from the beginning.
Speaker 3
Wait, you got freebies? Tell the story from the beginning. You woke up.
Yeah, like I started the day.
Speaker 2 We had coffee.
Speaker 4 They were giving giveaways to people in the crowd that were like getting their attention. So I told Sierra, grab these two phones, stand on the chair, and wave the flashlights.
Speaker 4 And she's like, I'm not doing that. And I said, give it to Leia.
Speaker 4 Leia does it.
Speaker 2 They see her. Gets the shirt.
Speaker 3 But it's just the idea that she's up there on camera.
Speaker 2 The shirt that sierra's wearing what is that lover boy lover boy oh yes of course
Speaker 2 okay
Speaker 1 thank you that was definitely one of my highlights my of my trip there should we rapid fire some of the like headlines that came out of bravacon well yeah some big stories that come out of bravacon vicky gumbelson is now back on the real housewives of oc uh apparently it was like a born out of sheer just spontaneity spontaneity and serendipity apparently he was talking according to Andy, he was talking to Vicki backstage, and it just, as he said, felt right.
Speaker 1
And in that moment, he brought out an orange and gave it to Vicky. And I saw Vicki earlier that day.
Finally, met her in person. Ashley Ayakinetti, friend, a dear friend of ours,
Speaker 1 in the world's worst kept secret, officially has been announced as a cast member of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
Speaker 1 Jared Haben is part of.
Speaker 1 I think that's the most bizarre part of this: Jared
Speaker 1 is a housewife husband.
Speaker 2 I love this. Well, he's in the train.
Speaker 3
I'm so excited. And you have Ashley being like, I'm going to cry again.
No, I'm seeing so many compilations of her just being like, I'm going to cry. I'm going to cry.
Oh, she's going to cry.
Speaker 3
Oh, she's going to cry again. And I'm like, oh, she's back.
She is so back.
Speaker 1 It'll be certainly interesting.
Speaker 1 What else are some major headlines, Justin?
Speaker 4 Teresa, Melissa, Joe Gorga, that whole family who was reunited, walking around everywhere, giving hugs, saying that they wanted to try to move forward.
Speaker 4 And the gag of it was Andy was saying, we've filmed that scene too many times before that like he wants them to actually mend their relationship before that even becomes a storyline on TV.
Speaker 1 Yeah, they can't just show up to Ravo-Con and pretend to be chill. They gotta like live it, be it.
Speaker 4 Tamara called Jennifer Lawrence a bitch.
Speaker 2 I did.
Speaker 2
Yep. Crazy.
I guess she won't be going on two T's.
Speaker 1 Lisa Barlow also said everyone has bad days talking about Jennifer Lawrence talking shit on her that was correct well i feel like that was a bad edit in a in a in a
Speaker 3 hmm not that now that now that lisa barlow and i i thought that was an amazing response no it was perfect it was the perfect amount of tea she was like
Speaker 3 talking shit about jennifer she didn't talk about her she was like i love jennifer lawrence she can do no wrong she has put our she's been a supporter of our show she has backed our show she loves our show we love her you know everybody everybody has bad days It was perfect.
Speaker 1 Yeah, but the headline was kind of like she defends Jennifer Lawrence and then has everyone has bad days as if like it was the headline was edited to like make Lisa look bad.
Speaker 1 Well, she didn't write the headline.
Speaker 2 You know how headlines are.
Speaker 1 I'm defending Lisa.
Speaker 3
I'm just saying that she, the, the actual interview was actually like, I was like, good for, good for Lisa. She didn't like Lisa Barlow this.
She actually. Right.
Speaker 3 And then Tamara Judge went, she's a bitch.
Speaker 2 I love
Speaker 2
a bitch. Jennifer probably loves.
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 4 We have Sutton's track called Garcelle's Departure from Beverly Hills a Blessing because it allowed her to get closer to the other woman.
Speaker 1 As well, knowing what we know and talking to the people we know on the inside, like knowing that Garcelle is genuinely hurt by Sutton's actions in the sense that like Garcelle really invested in this friendship.
Speaker 1 And like at the end of the day, like Sutton chose
Speaker 1 the cool girls, so to speak, or what she perceived to be as like maybe more popular women. And I think that relationship really is like hurt Garcell.
Speaker 1 So for Sutton to go to BravoCon and double doubt and be like, it was like a blessing because now I get to know these other women as if it was like
Speaker 1 as if it was Garcelle's fault from like Sutton being friends with.
Speaker 3 Like Garcell is holding her back. Yeah.
Speaker 1 That's a wild thing to say. It's definitely double, tripling down on the end of that relationship for sure.
Speaker 4 I still love you, Sutton.
Speaker 2 Met Darit briefly.
Speaker 1
She was not. Couldn't tell if she was being serious or played dumb.
Some of them, like some of the housewives, very gracious. We love you.
Oh my God, we listen to you. We're a big fan.
Speaker 1 Some of them kind of like play dumb. You can see
Speaker 1 they would be talking about us and we'd go up and say hi and be like, oh my God, who are you?
Speaker 2 And I'm like, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1 And then other ones were like, clearly, no idea. Hard to tell with the.
Speaker 1 What she said.
Speaker 4 Dory said your name sounded scary. She said, Vial sounds scary.
Speaker 2 Well,
Speaker 3 little does she know. It's vial.
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 1 I don't think she knew who we were. Or she did a good job acting.
Speaker 4 No, she was nice to you. She loved you, Nick.
Speaker 1 I don't know if she loved me, but she was nice.
Speaker 3 Did you see her at the, was it the Bravos where she went on stage to accept her award and she like took out a cigarette and just like took a drag of it? And then
Speaker 2 that's so cool.
Speaker 4
We have Andy saying that Roni is almost like fully cast and it won't be a hybrid cast. So the old women of Roni will be in the radar somewhere else, but not on actual Roni.
Then we have New Jersey.
Speaker 4 They're going to announce it soon, but he wants to make sure the casting is perfect. Then we have Wendy Ocepho did address her arrest on her panel.
Speaker 4 So Wendy Ocepho basically said, like, we really respect and love everybody's peace. We can't answer every question right now, but as of now, everything is just an allegation.
Speaker 4 Then we have Portia, Sonia, and Heather are joining Love Hotel. So it's like a season two of Love Hotel.
Speaker 3 I love Sonia Morgan. I cannot wait to see her.
Speaker 2 This is going to be like a buffet for her.
Speaker 2 What about the ultimate?
Speaker 3 What is it? Ultimate Road Trip.
Speaker 2 Oh, yeah. I'm so excited for that.
Speaker 3 Selma and Louise, but Housewives. You kidding me?
Speaker 4 They announced that Ultimate Girl Trip is coming back, but it's coming back in a different format.
Speaker 4 So essentially, it's the most iconic housewives taking road trips to every city that housewives is in.
Speaker 3 If they're not using Angie Katsanevis RV,
Speaker 3 that's a big mistake.
Speaker 2 Yes. It has to be, yeah.
Speaker 3 Oh, another thing. It seemed like Carl and Vanita might be catching vibes.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 3
Carl did a panel and they were asking if there was any bravo lebridies that he had interest in. He said, Last night I had a great time talking and getting to know Vanita.
She's beautiful.
Speaker 3
Like, I would love to spend more time with her. I love that.
I heard West Wilson was name-dropping Brielle Bierman.
Speaker 2
Ariana. West grabbed my ass.
Ariana?
Speaker 3
Ariana Permanent. Ariana Permanna.
I love when shooters shoot, you know? He grabbed your ass. Yeah.
Speaker 2 West grabbed her, your ass.
Speaker 2 I was like,
Speaker 1
well, yeah, anyways, it was a wild BravoCon. Thanks to all the people who said hi.
Everyone there who met me asked for my wife. So next time, she will have to join us.
Speaker 2 Yeah, and Wax Center, do you hear that? I will have to join you.
Speaker 1
But, anyways, it was great to see all the members of the house who came up and say hi to all of us. We really appreciate you.
It was a lot of fun to interact with Bravo.
Speaker 1
Definitely coming back to Bravo Con when it returns. It was a ton of fun.
Up next, we got Randall Cobb from Special Forces. Obviously, as a big Packer fan, I'm super excited about this.
Speaker 1 And then following Randall, we'll get into the Secret Lives of Mormon Wise. First few episodes, setting up the conversation we have with Jesse on going deeper.
Speaker 1 Then we'll get into a little Housewives of OC reunion part two and call it a day from there. Up next, Randall Cobb.
Speaker 1 When you think about the holidays, I think about little moments with Jeff and Steve, our dogs.

Speaker 1 Randall, welcome to the show.
Speaker 2 Thank you, man. Appreciate it.
Speaker 1 I'm super excited to have you. I was telling you before we started recording, I'm a, everyone knows who listens, I'm a huge Packer fan.
Speaker 1 Love football. So, Randall, for those of you who don't know, is a Packer legend.
Speaker 1 How many years did you play for them?
Speaker 2 10 of my 13 years.
Speaker 1 10 of his 13 years.
Speaker 1
So, very cool for me to have you in studio. But obviously, you are in Special Forces this season.
You did very well.
Speaker 1 I'm a part of the Special Forces family, so it's good to have friends. I actually, I was in Vegas this past weekend and had dinner with Danny Amendola, who also is a part of Special Forces.
Speaker 2 Trauma bonded. Yeah, we appreciate it.
Speaker 1 definitely trauma bonded i i want to talk ball with you a little bit but before we get into that i do i'm curious just like i think it's fun to talk when we talk about special forces uh whether it's fans or just other alumni what's what makes that show so fascinating is like it's kind of like why'd you do it you know like yes they pay the people who go on for sure and it's a nice chunk of change but like you could leave two seconds into the show yeah so like there you could you could show up, you could meet the DSs and be like, fuck y'all, I'm out, I'll take the money.
Speaker 1 And some of us decide to stay in this experience that is truly real life. It is not like a reality TV show where they're, you know, you're in a simulation with four special forces soldiers who...
Speaker 1 who treat you like a fucking soldier.
Speaker 2 A real recruit. Yeah.
Speaker 1 The food is garbage.
Speaker 1
That's the worst part. Anyways, I'm curious.
Someone like yourself, I've told this story. I was talking about with Danny over the weekend, but like when I went on, you know, I ran track in college.
Speaker 1 I'm 45. It's been a while since I've really competed at.
Speaker 2
45. There's no way.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 You got to give me the root seat.
Speaker 2 Thank you.
Speaker 3 Our daughter, he FaceTimed our daughter while he was. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 1 This was humbling.
Speaker 3 Nick answered the phone and she went, dad, dad, Papa.
Speaker 2 I was like, oh no.
Speaker 2 You look like Papa.
Speaker 2 So anyways,
Speaker 1 my daughter's keeping it.
Speaker 2 She's in the doghouse, girl.
Speaker 2 Let's do that.
Speaker 1 We had just found out Natalie was pregnant when Special Forces asked me to go on.
Speaker 1 So for me, it was like, it was truly a like, you know, I, in college, obviously I competed in, you know, you push yourself to a certain level, but I hadn't done that in years.
Speaker 1 And so Special Forces for me was like, when I was down bad getting through it, it was really like, I wanted to see what I'm about to be a father.
Speaker 1 You know, I'm about to like, as a dad, have to face some, you know, hopefully not, but adversity, problem solving. I got to be able to step up in difficult.
Speaker 1 And I really use that as like a metaphor to like, to motivate me.
Speaker 1 I'm curious, someone like yourself who is just, who just got done competing at the highest possible level athletically, what prompted you to do special forces and
Speaker 1 go through very far throughout the course like you did?
Speaker 2 Well, I will say that I just have so much respect for our military.
Speaker 2 And I was honored that I had that opportunity, right, to get to go on the show and get to live out what they do on a day-to-day basis.
Speaker 2
And whenever I got the call, I was like, you know, I hadn't watched the show. So I was like, well, let me talk to a few people.
Let me get an idea.
Speaker 2 And they were like, okay, you got 24 hours to make a decision. So
Speaker 2 I was like, okay.
Speaker 2
So I watched like two episodes. Wow.
Right. I didn't watch a whole lot.
I watched like two episodes. I called a buddy, Godente, who was
Speaker 2
last season and asked him about his experience, what he thought. He was like, you know, I would tell anyone to do it, but I'll never do it again.
And I was like, wait, what do you mean by that?
Speaker 2 And then like he dives into it. He dives into everything that happens.
Speaker 2 And after that phone call, I was kind of like, well, I don't want to take someone else's experience and put that in my own mind of what it could be and what could happen from the show.
Speaker 2 I kind of just took those 24 hours, watched a couple episodes and was like, all right, let's do it. Let's do the shit.
Speaker 1 Would you, and now following your experience, do you have the same opinion as Golden?
Speaker 2
Without a doubt. I had an incredible experience.
I enjoyed every moment of it. Not every moment, but, you know, like you get to see some incredible views.
Speaker 2 Like we're in Morocco, get to see the culture there. Even though we're not living it in the same way I would if I was to go on a vacation to Morocco.
Speaker 2 I still got to see the beauty of the country and get to feel the village life and the people.
Speaker 2 You know, there's so much downtime in between some of the moments where you're sitting in the car just driving to Lord knows where, right? So you get to see and take in a lot. So
Speaker 2 I would never not enjoy that experience that I had, but will I do it again?
Speaker 1 Absolutely.
Speaker 1 How does special forces
Speaker 1 compare with like training camp?
Speaker 2 It's just completely different because with football, you know exactly what you're doing, right? I've been playing football since I was seven. Like that was,
Speaker 2
I played for a really long time. So I understood like in training camp what the routine was.
I have recovery time. I have, you know, time I can plan for what that is.
Physically, yes, it was grueling.
Speaker 2 Like some of the workouts that we did, some of the beastings, some of the places
Speaker 2
that you went into this dark place of like not knowing. And I think that was the hardest part of you just didn't know when it was going to end.
Like.
Speaker 2
It wasn't until about day five that we realized like, okay, we're doing something in the morning. We're doing something in the afternoon.
And we may have a beasting beasting at night.
Speaker 2 But before then, like, you just like, well, what is happening? Are they going to come at any moment? Like, you just had to be ready.
Speaker 1 Were you ever hearing voices?
Speaker 2 Oh, all the time.
Speaker 1 We were because, yeah, they were like
Speaker 1 soldiers don't get ready, they stay ready.
Speaker 1 They would always say that to us, and by like, yeah, day two or day three, we're sitting at the edge of our cot, and people would jump up because you know, like recruits, yeah, because if you don't, if you don't respond to them quickly, you get punished at that point, you're just tired of getting your ass kicked.
Speaker 1 Uh, yeah, we definitely started hearing
Speaker 3
voices. What was your wife's reaction? Because obviously, she's like used to you being gone on the road.
Football is a very dangerous sport. So going into this, what was her reaction to it?
Speaker 2 When I first got the call and I talked to her about it,
Speaker 2
she was interested, but like, not really. Like, I don't want you going for two weeks now.
That doesn't sound fun for me with three, three wild boys, right?
Speaker 2 So she was kind of like, whatever.
Speaker 2 And then like, right after I got that call, I went to the gym and I like had to test myself to see if i could run a mile because i hadn't run a mile in so long and honestly like after i finished playing after the season in 23 our last game was january of 24 i told myself i was taking a year off from working out and i probably went to the gym maybe 10 times right in that year
Speaker 2 rest my body let my body heal up give it some time and then january rolls around of 25 and It's been a year now. And it's like, okay, buddy, it's time to get back to working out.
Speaker 2 Like she, she told me. And then, like, I like would go from time to time, but whenever I got that call, I went right to the gym.
Speaker 2 And like, she saw that and she was like, I don't know what this is, but I feel like you should do it. Like, you're motivated, you know, to obviously better your health by going to the gym.
Speaker 2 So I think you should check it out and think about it.
Speaker 1 You hear a lot from, you know, football players, especially like yourself, who played at the highest level for a long time.
Speaker 1 The transition from, you know, being a football player in an NFL to not playing can be very difficult emotionally, mentally. Like you said, you've played your whole life.
Speaker 1 And like, you know, relatively speaking, like, you're a young man. Like, you're, you know, like compared to like normal people, you, you're in your prime, you're young.
Speaker 1 NFL standards, you know, it's a different, you know, like, oh shit, you're 29.
Speaker 2 Like, oh my God, you're about to die. Exactly.
Speaker 1 You know, what is that? What has that transition been like for you?
Speaker 1 And, and has it been difficult emotionally or mentally at times to transition from that level to a more, I guess, say, normal, quiet life?
Speaker 2
Yeah, Yeah, it definitely has been a transition. It's had its difficulties.
You know, I'm very blessed in a sense that I have a family structure that really holds me together.
Speaker 2
I got purpose in my kids. My wife pushes me to new levels and new heights daily.
I couldn't be more thankful for that support system, right? To come home to that loving home every single day.
Speaker 2
But yeah, I played. you know, for a majority of my life.
I played 26 years of football, played sports all through high school. This is the first time where I don't have like something, right?
Speaker 2
Every season of life, I've had something. If it was an offseason, I was preparing for the next season.
During the season, it goes by really quickly.
Speaker 2
And that structure was just ripped from me, basically. And I, you know, I'm piecing that together and finding new hobbies and things that I'm interested in.
And,
Speaker 2 you know, I just got into tennis randomly.
Speaker 2
Like, I love it now. And, you know, so I'm playing tennis a couple of times.
Not pickleball. Not pickleball.
I really, I really like tennis. I feel like you just move a little bit more.
Speaker 2
And I like that. Like you have to be skilled.
Like me and my wife played in a doubles, mixed doubles match at the club and like got smacked. And I was like, okay, all right.
Yeah,
Speaker 2 I got some working to do. So
Speaker 2
that's been a fun transition. But yeah, I would say that it does have its difficulties.
And that was one of the reasons I went on the show because I wanted that thrill back.
Speaker 2 You know, it's very euphoric to be able to be in a stadium with 80,000 people.
Speaker 2 And if you're on the road, silence a crowd by one given moment, or if you're at home, to feel that energy of the fans, because we really feed off of that.
Speaker 2 You get the ball and get in the end zone and feel that crowd just to look out. So
Speaker 2 this was probably the closest thing that I've ever felt to that, going on the show and having those moments. And no, there wasn't a crowd, but that euphoric feeling of,
Speaker 2 you know, going down a dam or jumping out of a helicopter. Like it was, it was a lot of fun.
Speaker 3
In your questioning, you opened up about the house fire that you and your family experienced. What happened? Because it doesn't really show.
I'm sure you talked about it, but what happened?
Speaker 2
Yeah, so we had a house fire in the garage. We had a Tesla.
And right at the connection of the cord and the wall, a fire started. The fire alarm went off.
Speaker 2
We had a fire, a faulty fire alarm like three months earlier. So we didn't really think much of it.
It's like 10 p.m.
Speaker 2 Me and my wife are in the office, like getting our youngest son's passport information ready. We had a passport appointment the next morning.
Speaker 2 So we're getting that all in line and the fire alarm goes off.
Speaker 3 Babies are sleeping. Babies are sleeping.
Speaker 2
Nobody, like, we're not in a rush for the thing. Like, okay, well, I'm going to go get the kids, bring them down.
Let's get them to the car. Like, whatever the sound is, I'll, you know,
Speaker 2
we don't want that on the baby, especially, right? So, like, we get them to the garage door. I open the door and just the garage is ablaze.
And, like,
Speaker 2
we're scrambling. We all get out the house.
We realize the dog is still in the house.
Speaker 2
Oh, no. Where was the dog? Oh my gosh.
I'm thinking in my mind, like,
Speaker 2 okay,
Speaker 2 please be outside.
Speaker 2
Please be in the backyard because I'll let him out, you know, in the evening sometime to go outside. He wasn't out back.
I run back in the house, get the dog. We come out the front door.
Speaker 2 And she's on the phone with
Speaker 2
911. I'm calling 911.
Fortunately enough, that night, we had a night nurse coming, right? The night nurse is pulling up at the same time we're running down the hill. We get the kids in her car.
Speaker 2 She pulls the car up a little further so the kid does the kids don't experience the full
Speaker 2
traumatic experience. Right.
So we get them out of this out of the way. The fire department shows up, 20 fire trucks.
They put the fire out.
Speaker 2
ATF is there that night. They're telling us about these Tesla fires and all this.
It was like a whole thing.
Speaker 2 And then, you know, Red Cross shows up and they're like, hey, do you need anywhere to stay tonight? And at that moment, I was like, oh my God, we're homeless.
Speaker 2 Jesus, we're homeless, right?
Speaker 3
So it took more than your garage. Whoa.
Did it come into the house?
Speaker 2 So because we went out the garage door, we didn't think to close the door behind us.
Speaker 2 All the smoke, smoke damage throughout the house. Everything was a total loss just based off of the soot and smoke damage.
Speaker 2 We had to take that wall, that house down to the studs. Once we took it down to the studs, luckily we realized that
Speaker 2 it wasn't as bad as we thought it was.
Speaker 2
Yes, it was smoke damage. So we had to handle that.
But we're building that house back up now. It's going to be going on the market soon.
Like everything is luckily okay with the structure. But yeah,
Speaker 2 it was a crazy
Speaker 3 Tesla?
Speaker 2 No.
Speaker 2 No, no. Oh my God.
Speaker 2 No, we went in a different direction.
Speaker 2 Hard enough, hard enough.
Speaker 1 Hearing you tell that story, I'm curious. Ever since like, you know, I've been a dad or now and I got married, there's just been a couple moments.
Speaker 1 What you experienced, that must have been pretty scary and traumatic.
Speaker 1 You know, thankfully, we haven't experienced a situation like that scary, but there have been moments where like you feel like you're in crisis, you know, as a dad and as a husband.
Speaker 1 And obviously it can be scary, but there's certain moments where you really feel like you're like, you're stepping up for your family in a way.
Speaker 1 In that moment, do you kind of have that feeling where it's just like, it feels like the world's coming down on you and falling apart in a way, but at the same time, there's like a calmness you have because like you're in dad mode, you're in husband mode, and you're kind of like protecting the family.
Speaker 2 Yeah, I mean, in that sense, yes, for sure.
Speaker 2 That was a very dark time, not only moment, but the aftermath of that, right? Like.
Speaker 2 You start playing back all the different scenarios of what could have happened because like luckily we had a we had a hardwired fire detector in our garage, but say we didn't, right?
Speaker 2
That we, our bedroom and where we were, the office were on the other side of the house. So if we didn't have that, that smoke would have gone right upstairs.
It would have got to the kids.
Speaker 2 It would have got to them way before it would have got to us that we would have known about it. So you start to play back through all those what-ifs.
Speaker 2 And then, like, you're going through piecing your lives back together because we lost all the contents. We lost everything.
Speaker 2 Our kids, like, they didn't have anything but the clothes on their back, right? We didn't have like, they didn't have shoes when we left the house.
Speaker 2 And luckily, we had a great community,
Speaker 2 you know, of friends, of people that really helped us out through that, through that dark time and very fortunate from that.
Speaker 2 But I mean, just putting your life back together and you start to realize like everything that you thought you cared about, you really don't. Like, this is really not that deep.
Speaker 2 It's really not that important.
Speaker 1 Like, just stuff. The stuff.
Speaker 2
Like, this is all stuff. This is all replaceable.
But the next day, when I went back to the house and I saw, I went into the garage and I saw the frame of one of my boys' bikes, right?
Speaker 2 And I just have this vision of that every single time I think about the fire because I'm like, that could have been, I could have been looking at the
Speaker 2
bones of my child. Like these are things that we can replace, like forget all the other stuff.
My kids are healthy and alive and we're good. Wow.
Speaker 3 It's so brave in that moment to think of like, let's just get the kids so they don't see this vision. So they don't have that like my burnt bike in their head, you know, to be like, just take them.
Speaker 3 So have they have like, what do they know about that night?
Speaker 2
I mean, they know, they know that we had a fire. They know they didn't, they lost all their toys.
They know that they don't have anything from their rooms.
Speaker 2 You know, all the things that they cared about the most, like, they don't have any of that stuff.
Speaker 2 We stayed at a friend's house that night.
Speaker 2
We had another friend open their home to us, and we stayed at their home for a month until we found a rental home. So now we're in other people's spaces.
Yeah. Right.
Speaker 2 And then like we're in a rental home. And now
Speaker 2
we were building a house when we first moved here. So that house took three years to build.
And then when we got in in there, like 13 places over the course of their life.
Speaker 2
And my oldest is at his fifth school as a seven-year-old. So like he knows nothing but like transition.
And, you know, so that's one of the reasons like us here, them having that stability
Speaker 2 is huge for us.
Speaker 1 What is as far, how did you and your wife kind of work through all that with all that chaos?
Speaker 1 Like we talk a lot about relationships on this show, but like how did your, you and your wife like make sure you stay connected and on the same page?
Speaker 1 Because I think, you know, when times get scary, you know, sometimes you, it's easy to disconnect from, you know, your partner and things like that. How did you guys do that?
Speaker 2
It's a lot of work. And, you know, one thing that we've always talked about is like our love is not work.
Like, that's the easy part.
Speaker 2 The other stuff becomes the difficult parts of the schedules and the whatever life may throw of us. you know, putting those pieces back together, but our love doesn't change.
Speaker 2
Like, I know that she's got my back. I got her back.
And we'll get through anything and everything together because we have that communication.
Speaker 2 We have that, those, those moments when times are rough, like we know we have each other at the end of the day and home is wherever she is. Like that's, that's my home.
Speaker 2
Like it, we could be anywhere in the world. We can live in Iceland for all I care.
I know that my home is with me.
Speaker 1 What was on back to special forces? What was the challenge that really you hated the most?
Speaker 2 The tunnels.
Speaker 2 The tunnels. That crushed me.
Speaker 1 Claustrophobic a little bit?
Speaker 2 Well, I didn't realize how claustrophobic I was.
Speaker 2 like i've i've definitely i i knew i had a little bit of that but i didn't know to what extent to to what level but you know like every mission right going into it you never knew what you were getting into they would give you an idea so for that mission we're going to bomb a cell tower well our group was meeting together and we're thinking like oh like oh we saw palm trees that were that were cell towers so keep out of look for palm trees that none of that none of that matters everything that you thought you were game planning for like, none of that matters once you start.
Speaker 2 And, um, you know, I'll never forget too. Foxy slapped me upside my head so hard.
Speaker 2 They don't know why they didn't show that on TV, but I like jumped down into like the ditch and he was telling me to stay low, but I guess I wasn't low enough.
Speaker 2 And he slapped me upside the back of my head and I fell to all fours and started crawling.
Speaker 2 You started going through the tunnels and you start to realize like they're getting smaller and smaller and smaller.
Speaker 2 And then you go, you flip over and you're going through the water, trying to keep your head above
Speaker 2 water. And I mean, that was that was the craziest one for me.
Speaker 2 Like, I had, I had night terrors that night, like, woke up in the middle of the night, like, completely unzipped my, my sleeping bag, and like, was, like, looking around up in the middle of the night for like two hours.
Speaker 2 Oh, my God. Yeah, it was rough.
Speaker 3 We joked a little bit before we started about the snack box, but I mean, what went through your head when you went back and you placed that empty box and you saw DS Dorm on it for the first time?
Speaker 2 Are you like, oh, we're fucked?
Speaker 2 Yeah, so I thought, like, playing football, right?
Speaker 2 Sometimes our coach will throw us a bone, like, oh, you've been, you've been having a great day. We're going to have no meetings in the afternoon.
Speaker 2 We're actually going to go bowling today, have a little team bonding moment. So, when I saw that box, in my mind, I was like, oh, they're throwing us a bone.
Speaker 2
Nick Young, Swaggy P, the whole time, all he was talking about was Coke. We had past like 18 wheelers that had like a Coke side.
Oh, I just want a Coke. I just need a Coke right now.
Speaker 2
Just please let me get a Coke. Somebody give me a Coke.
And then finally, like he leaves. And then we come back and there's a box with Coke.
So in my mind, I'm like, oh, this was. They heard us.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 That would have been so nice. I'm holding Coke up to the camera, like, Nick, we wish you would have.
Speaker 2 Cheers.
Speaker 2
But yeah, I brought it out. Everybody, like, we all indulged, enjoyed.
I guess Chanel told us in the cafeteria. I don't remember her.
Speaker 2
I probably was in a trance because I got a sweet tooth. Like, you saw that twig.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry, I can't hear you.
My wife will tell you, she came after Halloween.
Speaker 2 She looked in the trash can and saw a bunch of candy wrappers. And she was like, Which one of you kids took? I was like, Oh, that was.
Speaker 3
Were you scared to kind of go back to the group and be like, guys, I fucked up. That was for the DSs.
Like, we're going to be punished.
Speaker 2
No, I wasn't because in that moment, I was like, I got to take ownership. That's that's nobody else's fault.
That's mine.
Speaker 2 I presented that to y'all as we got a treat they're looking out for us not realizing that it wasn't what I thought it was
Speaker 2 so yeah that was yeah that was that was tough what was the water that they threw on you was it from the toilet we thought that in the beginning yeah and then we realized it was just like sand and toilet paper that they had thrown in the water so was it okay yeah but they were calling us the shitty crew after that
Speaker 2 me ge and brief oh no
Speaker 1 uh i want to talk a little ball with you as a Packer fan.
Speaker 1 I am curious. I was actually, you know, Danny and I were talking at dinner and we were just like talking about his time in the league.
Speaker 1 But I was fascinated to hear him just talking about like, you know, as a fan of football, like, you know, I'm just a fan, right? Like, I watch it. Like, it's, it's my Dungeons and Dragons, right?
Speaker 1 It's this, it's like, I, I ride for my team.
Speaker 1
It's not my life, you know, I'm not playing. I'm not, like, doing the thing.
And then when, like, you know, my team loses, I'm like bummed about it.
Speaker 1 And I think as fans, sometimes I think we don't, you know, we don't like see the players almost as like as human in a way, right? Like online discourse is like, you know, you're just like, holy shit.
Speaker 1 You know, like fans can be pretty harsh. And also just like when a player's hurt or tired, I think as fans,
Speaker 1 we're just, you know, it's like for anyone who plays like fantasy football or Madden, it's just like if your player is rated a 99, you're like, well, he's a 99. Yes.
Speaker 1
And he's always going to play like a 99. Exactly.
You know, but like you told your story about your house burning down. You're a father.
Speaker 1 You're a husband uh people have good days at work and bad days at work and then like danny talking about it like at the end of the game you know like you you've been running and going a hundred percent for like all game long and there's times where like you can't move your arms you're so tired and like it's like fans don't like see that side i feel like of the football game and i feel like players don't talk about it as much because i feel like you guys don't want to sound like you're making excuses for stuff like that but i thought it was just really fascinating to hear that conversation and just about like the human side of football where you know you guys uh you're putting your heart out there and
Speaker 1 you know there's a million things going on in your world where it's just like when play you know fans are just like you know why don't you catch the ball you know like now we'll be like catch the ball you know like i'm watching the game and you know you know like yesterday with the packers it was really windy or things like that it's things you can't see as a fan visually in the game like How as a player, like, did you, yeah, did you ever feel like, you know, you wanted to defend yourself at times if you had a bad game?
Speaker 1 Or do you wish sometimes fans could know that side of the game a little bit more?
Speaker 2 Nobody cares.
Speaker 2
The fans don't care. Like, what do you mean? We're supposed to win every game when we take the field, right? That's the, that's the thought of it.
Like, that's... That's what it is.
Speaker 2
I think that's why everyone loves the game so much, though, because it's that human element. Like, yeah, you could be a 99 on Madden, but that's a game.
That's a video game.
Speaker 2
Of course, it's a little different. But there is a human side to it.
And that's what makes the game so special and so fun to watch. And I've really, I've gone through it and I've dealt with that.
Speaker 2
I think like in my era of football, like we were the first ones to deal with like the social media era. Like I got Twitter in 2009 when I was in college.
Instagram came when I was in the league.
Speaker 2 And then like the comments and like all that stuff started to change throughout the time of Instagram's growth and Facebook's growth and all those things.
Speaker 2 So you start to see those things and have to deal with that other side of it.
Speaker 2 And honestly, I believe too many players get caught up in the what's said outside and worried about their pff grades and all that kind of stuff and worried about their fantasy owner like the the view of them as a fantasy player it's like bro like you're we're on a team we're going to win this game like who cares if i have two catches or 10 catches like yes like i want to have success and i want to play well but at the end of the day like we're trying to win games to win a championship so that's what it's all about um yeah but i mean it's that's real life like we're going we're going through real life stuff like when i got traded back to Green Bay, like that happened on a whim, right?
Speaker 2 Like I didn't, it wasn't like I was preparing for three months for that to happen. I had just sold my house in Green Bay like six months before I got traded back to Green Bay.
Speaker 2 So now we got to find a rental home. My wife is trying to move up with three kids while I'm staying at Aaron's house during training camp.
Speaker 2
Like it's, yeah, we're going through all those different things. And there's, there's a lot more that we're dealing with outside of just practice and meetings and games.
That's what?
Speaker 2 That's fascinating.
Speaker 3
You talked about like you playing football at seven. If your seven-year-old now comes to you and is like, hey, dad, I want to play football.
What's kind of your flag football?
Speaker 2 Flag football. He can play flag football.
Speaker 3 Is that what you played or did you play?
Speaker 2
No, I played tackle at seven. Yeah, yeah, that was a little much.
I've taken more hits than I probably should.
Speaker 3 When do you feel like he would be allowed to do tackle?
Speaker 2 I'm hoping that he doesn't ever.
Speaker 2
Honestly, I'm like pushing him towards like golf and tennis and like what about a kicker? Some of the videos. No, not even kicker.
No, I can't.
Speaker 2 you know i'm trying to push him in a different direction you know i always tell him like dad took all the hits so you can go do something else in your life right if he chooses to do that and like he's he's enjoying flag football he loves it he loves watching football every sunday he wakes up and goes to turn tv on him and his brother like they go and play in the backyard all the time um It's probably going to happen at some point.
Speaker 2 The first year that I'm going to be willing to let him play tackle probably won't be until seventh or eighth grade, just so he can understand
Speaker 2 how to position his body and how to tackle or how to take hits before he gets to high school and that whole thing but yeah i mean
Speaker 2 it is kind of wild that they even have the option for seven-year-olds to do tackle yeah and let me tell you about youth sports the parents in youth sports are
Speaker 2 living their dream yeah yes yes yes yes they are they are it's crazy i've i've seen some crazy stuff on the field like with coaches and parents.
Speaker 2 And it's just, it really blows my mind because the kids feed off of the energy that they see on the sideline from their coaches and parents.
Speaker 2 And I, like, I coach, I coach some of the kids' sports, and I just try to make sure that I remember that they're not going to the league after this season. Okay.
Speaker 2 Like, let's build a foundation of having fun and understanding the fundamentals of what the sport is.
Speaker 2 uh and build the skills and like let's see the growth year in year out over like worrying about the results And I say all that to say we still win a championship, but like,
Speaker 2 you know,
Speaker 2 put that out there.
Speaker 2 But it's, it's about the growth and being able to see them develop a love for the game and understanding of it.
Speaker 3 I bet it is hard to push your son, your sons in different directions of sports, knowing that you played for so long, you were so successful, they have like all this footage they can watch of their dad.
Speaker 3 Your jerseys, I'm sure, like, I'm sure they just are like, you know, they want to be their dad. So I'm sure that's hard for you to be like, no, no, no, tennis.
Speaker 2 Do you for the for the longest time from every year that I was in the NFL? Uh, I never once had any football stuff up in my house. Really? Never.
Speaker 2 Like, I didn't have any pictures, any jerseys, any helmets. There may be some footballs laying around here and there.
Speaker 2 We move into the new house and like I build out this man cave and, you know, make some spaces for some of those, some of those moments and some of the things that I've got over my career.
Speaker 2 and now that stuff is up and it's like see this is why now my kids are out in the backyard playing football and tackling like this is the whole reason i didn't do this trying to tell my wife that she's like no it's okay i'm like see this is it this is the reason right here
Speaker 2 the man can't even does that what is your most memorable play as an nfl player i would say for me uh and some fans may agree disagree but for me personally it was the first game it was the the kickoff kickoff return i remember and the and the touchdown i had a receiving touchdown that game too which was like the first game of the season coming out of the first game of the season.
Speaker 1 Yeah, 2011.
Speaker 2 Coming out of the lockout. The Packers had just won the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2
A lot of high hopes for us that season. We were playing the Saints who had won the Super Bowl the year before in 09.
So it was, that was like, for me, it was like, okay, I can do this.
Speaker 2 I'm meant to be here. Like, I have the ability to play on this level.
Speaker 3 I've always wondered, what do you do after you win a game? Are you like going out with all the guys? Are we hitting a strip club? Are we going home to like our wives and having a party at home?
Speaker 3 Are we like what or do you just go home and like put the kids to bed? Like what do you do after a win?
Speaker 2 You haven't taken her to Green Bay, have you?
Speaker 2 I went to one game. I went to one game.
Speaker 2 After games in Green Bay, you know, the city shuts down, right? There's no restaurants that are open. There's one restaurant that I would go to, Republic.
Speaker 2 That was the only restaurant in town that was open other than like Texas Roadhouse and Papa John. And that's a lot of times what we ended up doing.
Speaker 2 If we didn't go to Republic, we were going home, ordering Papa John's or Domino's and hanging out at the house and like maybe have some teammates over, maybe I had some friends and family in town and we just have a time at the house.
Speaker 2 But yeah, like that was.
Speaker 3 Is it spent like talking about the game?
Speaker 2
Depends on how the game went. Yeah.
If it was a loss, yes.
Speaker 2 There's a lot of talk about what happened and why we lost and what would have changed. But after a win, yeah, you just enjoying yourself, having a good time.
Speaker 2 Yeah, but that wasn't, that wasn't the case in Green Bay.
Speaker 2 And that's one of the things I'm so special, I think is so special about Green Bay is like, you are able to focus as a player, you're able to focus on the game, focus on
Speaker 2 your growth and development. You're the next day going to the facility and getting your treatment and all the different things.
Speaker 3 Because there's just like nothing else to do. Nothing else to do.
Speaker 2 Now, when I got to Dallas,
Speaker 2 I saw the other side.
Speaker 2 After a win in Dallas, you know, you go out, you have a good time.
Speaker 2 There's a little bit more to do.
Speaker 3 You're like, wait a minute.
Speaker 2 This is what's been happening all this time.
Speaker 3 This is what y'all have been doing.
Speaker 2 That's funny.
Speaker 1 Are you following the league nowadays or do you kind of mentally kind of check out a little bit?
Speaker 2 I've watched more football this season than I did last season. Last season, it was a little bit tough for me because I really wasn't ready yet.
Speaker 1 Are you following friends?
Speaker 1 Are you still like a Green Bay Packer fan? How does that work?
Speaker 2
A little bit of both. A little bit of both.
You know, my loyalty is always going to be in Green Bay.
Speaker 2 That was such a special part of my life and you know i'll always have a lot of respect and admiration for the organization and what they're doing so yeah my my we love watching the packers um you know i watch i keep up with aaron i keep up with uh tay uh watch what they're doing some of my teammates in the league aaron jones out in minnesota so i i watch whenever they're on to check them out what's your analysis of what's going on with green bay right now they're they're six and three six three and one opened up the opened up the year really hot a lot of people uh a trendy super Bowl pick, and then they've slowed things down the past couple of weeks.
Speaker 1 It seems to be a lot of unforced errors from my end. But
Speaker 1 how as an NFL player or someone who's been in that locker room before,
Speaker 1 how do you see this team? And why is a league where you can feel like you look like the best team one week? And the next week, you're just like, how can we lose the Carolina Panthers at home?
Speaker 1 What's going on there?
Speaker 1 I remember 2010, before that you were drafted, they were like, I don't know like three and three rogers had like a concussion after the redskins game everyone's on ir you're like you feel like the house is burning down they go on to win the super bowl they got hot so like how do you see this team going forward the rest of the year yeah i think that's the thing about the nfl that everyone loves the margin of error is so small like right that even the worst teams can beat the best teams on any given sunday that's just That's how football goes.
Speaker 2 Most games are won within seven points, right? The Packers have three losses on the season, and all of them were, what, three points, six points, whatever it was, Right.
Speaker 2 So it's the margin of error is so small that you just, you, you really have to be perfect. Not perfect a lot of times, but you have to play smart football in different situations.
Speaker 2 And like all this talk about like firing Matt LaFleur and like, it blows my mind. Like, are we really, are we really going there? Like, he is an incredible coach.
Speaker 2 And what he's been able to do with the development of Jordan Love and to see where he's at, the seed of player that he is now based off of when he came into the league, like the growth that they've had, the um defense and the way that they're playing, and it's they've played lights out.
Speaker 2 Like, what do you want?
Speaker 2 We're talking about Micah Parsons not having a sack, and like, what, like, what?
Speaker 2 He's going to get them, they're going to come.
Speaker 1 When you watch, yeah, the defense, it's like he is truly he, he, it's a whole different defense with him on the field.
Speaker 1 Do you feel like Jordan Love is criticized in a different way compared to maybe the rest of the league, whether it's because he's following Rogers' legacy? It just just seems like week to week.
Speaker 1
One week, it's Jordan loves a top five quarterback. The next week, it's like he's trash.
Yes. I'm a Green Bed Packer fan.
I trust the process.
Speaker 1 I was a Rodgers fan, even when I was a Fire fan, because like I believed in it. And then when they drafted Jordan, I was like,
Speaker 1
I'm gonna, I'm gonna buy it. I need to buy it, you know, and it's all worked out.
But yeah, how do you, how do you see the criticism he gets? And what do you think about it?
Speaker 2 I think it's unfair, but it's also like that's that's the talk, like, right? The talking heads throughout the week is what builds up the momentum to Sundays and makes Sundays so special and so fun.
Speaker 2 When you're getting paid what he's getting paid, when you're playing for the Green Bay Packers and you're a projected top five quarterback, like there's a certain standard that you should be playing at from the outside, right?
Speaker 2 As a former player, I know like there's so many other variables to it that no one wants to talk about.
Speaker 2 We're not talking about the offensive line issues with injuries and shuffling of guys and people being at different positions.
Speaker 2 We're not talking about last week when they had a converted corner back at receiver.
Speaker 2 And like, I can see visually on TV of what the concept is and him not doing it up to par. Like, yes, I
Speaker 2 understand everything else that, so I look at it from a completely different lens.
Speaker 2
And like, I think Jordan's played phenomenal this year. Has it been perfect every week? No.
Is he winning games? Yes.
Speaker 2 Like, they're six, three, and one what do you you want him to be undefeated like that just doesn't happen every year in this league that's not normal when's the last undefeated team right 72 the dolphins question so obviously tucker craft got hurt a couple games ago they've i didn't even know they would do this but brought in josh wiley to like take his place hopefully nothing does happen to anyone else on our team and they called you would you step in uh if they want me to stand on the sidelines.
Speaker 3 You don't think you have it and you need to play another game?
Speaker 2
No, no, no, no, no. I'm done.
You're done. I'm done.
Totally done. Like I told you, I've been working.
You've been in the gym.
Speaker 2
They're like, we got Bo. He's playing the receiver, man.
He's a quarterback. We need you.
No, no, no, no, no. It's, yeah, we're past that.
Speaker 2 My time has come and passed. You know,
Speaker 2 I can be an armchair quarterback now.
Speaker 2 Talk about it from a different life.
Speaker 1
Love what you're doing, Randall. Huge fan of the Packers.
I honestly remember the day. I remember when you were drafted.
I remember where I was. I was at Bar Karma, Milwaukee.
I saw it on Twitter.
Speaker 1
It's really been fun to follow your career and to meet you in person and have you be a part of the Special Forces family is pretty cool in my book. So thanks for coming on, man.
I appreciate it.
Speaker 1
Love hearing all your stories about as a football player and also more specifically as a dad and father. I love how you prioritize your family above all things.
I think that's really great.
Speaker 1 And thanks for taking the time.
Speaker 2
I appreciate it. Appreciate you having me.
I'm glad we get to share those moments as Packers. I really, I think that's the special thing about football.
It connects us in a different way.
Speaker 2 I remember those moments just as much as you do. And here, from your perspective, I love it.
Speaker 1 Yeah, his kickoff return was released.
Speaker 2 Was it like that one from Auburn, Alabama game?
Speaker 1
No, very different. Equally is cool.
It was like 102 yards. He almost got tackled like three times.
Then like, then John Koon.
Speaker 3 Have you shown your boys?
Speaker 1
They've seen it, yeah. Then like John Kuhn almost like grabbed him, picked him up, and flipped him.
And it was really
Speaker 1
good, Randall. I appreciate your time, man.
Thank you.
Speaker 2 Appreciate y'all.

High quality. She raves about its comfort and how it looks.

Speaker 1 How many times do you get a Green Bay Packer legend on in your life?
Speaker 3
Well, you did get his phone number. So now you can.
You guys exchange numbers? Yeah, exchange numbers.
Speaker 1 He's like, let's watch the game together.
Speaker 2 We're on a whole new level.
Speaker 3 Did he really say that? That would be fun for you.
Speaker 2
Wait, that's so cool. He's just a human being.
Nick shook his hand like three times. He's just like a.
Speaker 3 You're telling me.
Speaker 1 Was I giving fan? Did I?
Speaker 2 Yeah, it's sweet, though.
Speaker 1 Like, but is he going to be like, oh, this is weird now?
Speaker 3 No.
Speaker 3 No.
Speaker 2
I mean, you were like, I know the exact place I was when I found out. He was wrapped in.
I'm a big fan, man.
Speaker 3 No, it was sweet. It was endearing.
Speaker 3 We were going to text you that we needed to wrap, but then we were like, let us having a little longer.
Speaker 3 Let him have a couple more minutes.
Speaker 2 Let him have a few more minutes here.
Speaker 1 Well, we still have a lot more to cover before this episode wraps. We're going to get into some Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3 and some Real Housewives of OC Reunion Part 2.
Speaker 1 Do we have any headlines to get into before we jump into the shows?
Speaker 3 I'm sure they'll continue to flow in as the day goes along, but we already have three new Bravo con updates that happened.
Speaker 3 One of which is, I guess there's drama between Madison LaCroix and Side to Silva. She was asked who is the meanest Bravo lab that she knows, and she said, I will stand by this again.
Speaker 3
I've said it before. I'll say it again.
Cy DeSilva. Now, this clip is going viral, and Sai commented on it, saying, You must have me confused.
Not all brown people look alike.
Speaker 3
Oh, I never met her before. Oh my gosh.
And so another Bravo fan had posted a photo from BravoCon 2023, and it's Sai and Madison sitting next to each other. Screaming.
Speaker 3
So it's very fact that they had met each other. Madison screenshots Sai's comment on the viral post, writing point proven at Sai DeSilva.
Damn, wow. Yeah, so they're going at it, Betty.
Speaker 3 That is a wild response that it has to do with that. Where it's just like Madison was like, no, no, you're proving my point right now because she's trying to be like, I've never met you before.
Speaker 3 And it's like, well, the Bravo fans, Bravo fans are like the equivalent of the FBI with their talent of sleuthing that I'm like.
Speaker 1 That's not anything to accuse her of just because she said you weren't nice.
Speaker 2 Right. Right.
Speaker 3 That is messy. And also, Sai does have a reputation on Roni for not being the nicest one of the bunch.
Speaker 1
So Madison was right next to European Wax Center, her pajamas that she was showcasing and selling. Now they got a pair of pajamas.
Madison,
Speaker 1 she claimed that we hadn't asked her to come on the show. And I was like, I'm pretty sure we asked her.
Speaker 2
I have asked. I have asked.
Anyways,
Speaker 1 add Madison to the list of people who say they want to come on the show.
Speaker 3 One more new thing. Somebody posted a picture of Brittany Bateman kissing Jared, it looks like.
Speaker 2 How is this news?
Speaker 3 Yeah, aren't they together?
Speaker 3
She said that they were friends at the Salt Lake panel when everyone was booing Jared. Yeah, she did.
She specifically said that they were friends.
Speaker 2
Friends that... Good friends.
Friends that kiss.
Speaker 3
Yeah. While holding the uni that he gave her and played us the new recording.
Yes, he recorded it again.
Speaker 3
But wait, somebody called him out because he didn't say, I love you. He said, you are loved.
You are loved. Ooh.
Speaker 2 What did the new one say?
Speaker 3 There is a difference.
Speaker 2
That's what it says. It still says that.
Hi, Brittany.
Speaker 3
You are loved. It's me.
And somebody called out the fact that it's like, hmm, you didn't say, I love you. You said, you are loved.
Speaker 3 It's like, well, she got Wes Wilson's number, I saw, so he's and then in a
Speaker 3 round of fuck Mary kill, West killed her.
Speaker 2 Oh,
Speaker 2 same day, you lose him just as fast as you get them.
Speaker 3 She moves quickly in Bravo Verse.
Speaker 1 All right, well, moving on from BravoCon, before we get to some Secret Lives of Mormon wives, the Justin Beldoni and Blake Lively case continues in the court of public opinion.
Speaker 1 I saw this headline over the week and I thought it was kind of wild. Dwight Trot has entered the chat when it comes to this office.
Speaker 2 The office is Dwight Trot. The office is Dwight Truth.
Speaker 1 Also known as Rain Wilson.
Speaker 2 Also known as Rain Wilson.
Speaker 3 Also known as his government name.
Speaker 1 Also his birth name, but you know him, you love him as Dwight Trout.
Speaker 1 The headline writes, Justin Bonnelli's texts show support from Rain Wilson and Blake Lively Feud with the quotes, you were set up. And it's like this, this headline, I got to give it to him.
Speaker 1 He's got a good PR team. I don't get how he gets these headlines that are framed as if he has like some smoking gun, as if like, oh, the text from Rain Wilson somehow prove his innocence.
Speaker 1 This reads like, basically, someone broke up with their boyfriend or girlfriend, and they're texting their girls and being like, yeah, they suck. And then their girls are like, yeah.
Speaker 1 He sucks, you know, like, and just basically agreeing with them, saying he was set up.
Speaker 1 And they're talking about how the the the the event of where like Justin went to Ryan and blake's house and quote unquote ryan yelled at him and as if like that was like the crime of everything and i just kind of find it hilarious because it was like well while rain wilson says you were set up maybe it was just like no maybe you were just confronted by your behavior the only thing the text says is rain saying you were set up it goes into basically the conversation is like Justin kind of describing that night.
Speaker 1 Ryan was talking to me like I was a five-year-old and scolding me, Beldoni wrote. I mean, again, if you were being weird around my wife, yeah,
Speaker 1 I might be scolding someone. They essentially said that Jamie and I, Jamie, for those of you who don't know, is Justin Beldoni's producer and like CEO of his production company.
Speaker 1 He essentially said that Jamie and I are not who we claim to be and that for us to have a podcast is unsafe because it makes people feel like we are safe.
Speaker 3 It's a crazy thing to like admit.
Speaker 1 That's what's so crazy about this is like, I feel like we're being gaslit where it's just like, yeah, that's kind of their point.
Speaker 1
The point is you had a podcast about how you guys are safe around women. You know how to act around women.
You understand the plight of women. You're advocating for women.
Speaker 1 And then you show up to a production set and you're kind of weird. And you're talking allegedly about like your favorite porn or your former porn addiction or things like that.
Speaker 1 And that's the whole point is that like when you portray yourself as one thing, you act another, it's kind of gaslighty.
Speaker 1 You like, it's like, it's no different than you hold yourself to a higher standard and you don't live up to their standard, which was what it seems like in this text message that like Ryan and Blake were trying to convey.
Speaker 1 And the fact that like they're like talking about it in these text messages as if they're like, they don't understand what they're saying is like, you're kind of admitting it.
Speaker 3 Is Justin leaking these texts?
Speaker 1
Yeah, clearly. Like Justin and his team are leaking these texts.
And like, what's, I'm just fascinated by like Variety puts out this headline.
Speaker 1 And it's like a headline as if like Rain wilson is like knows the truth like rain wilson wasn't even there he was like texting with his buddies about like turns out like it turns out rain wilson used to was raised in the baha'i faith and i guess like andy grammar also bahai justin balahoni also like so they have a like a religious connection i guess it seems like why that's why they're they're friends but anyways it's just like fascinating how like these headlines and maybe it's just because they it's clickbait i don't know clickbait virtually but it's just basically justing admitting to his friends that like ryan got mad of how like whether they agree it or not like you're just talking about a husband who's defending his wife and they're acting like that's somehow a crime this headline could have just said rain wilson and justin baldoni are friends literally the same thing that's the headline no it could have just been justin baldoni and rain wilson spilling tea to each other Text.
Speaker 2 They text. Yeah.
Speaker 1 Yeah, he has like no insight knowledge, but it reads as if like somehow that's some smoking gun. And he basically was like, yeah, your girlfriend sucks.
Speaker 3
Yeah. I think if I've learned anything from this entire situation, it's that don't put anything in text, don't put anything in text.
Call them, yeah.
Speaker 3 Because also, I'm like, Is he upset that these that he's being pulled into a headline now? Because it's like,
Speaker 3 I'm sure he's his friend, but I'm also like, Wouldn't you just want to be left out? Like, this is getting so messy. Like, I would be
Speaker 3 annoyed.
Speaker 1 I feel like he has Rain's permission.
Speaker 2 I don't know. I hope so.
Speaker 3 I would that would be really like, I feel like maybe he's the type to not have someone's permission and leak things.
Speaker 2 So
Speaker 1 I really think the biggest story that people don't talk about this is I just think how the online social manipulation that people can do. And I think it's, I think the bigger story is
Speaker 1 greater than everyone involved in the story and how you can have a social media team.
Speaker 1 you know, basically attack your enemies and you can create narratives online and you can hire online trolls and you, you know, and I think that's the story that I think eventually will really come out in this case.
Speaker 3 But yeah, Nick, I think you need to write a new book called Don't Text,
Speaker 2 period. Just don't therapy.
Speaker 3 Don't text, go to therapy.
Speaker 1 But Dwight Schroott is Team Justin.
Speaker 2 So there you go.
Speaker 1 Well, speaking of social media, the ladies of the Mormon Wives are online and fighting with Dakota.
Speaker 2 We got, also, we were in.
Speaker 1 Did you know that Taylor Frankie Paul, our bachelorette, was also in Vegas filming?
Speaker 2 You're kidding. Did you guys see her?
Speaker 1 Turns out, spoiler,
Speaker 2 they will be in Vegas this year. Wow.
Speaker 3 I love her. Did you guys get to see her?
Speaker 2 Did you just happen to hear rumors?
Speaker 1 I know some people who know some people who know some people and
Speaker 2 weren't on the street.
Speaker 1 They were also filming this season in Vegas.
Speaker 3
They're teasing it. They're teasing the season.
And they posted a clip of...
Speaker 3 Taylor, Frankie Paul, and Jesse sitting down with each other and having a heart-to-heart talking about it. Like, I appreciate how much they're teasing it.
Speaker 3 I'm just like, but I still have to wait like four months for this to come out. It is interesting to see, yeah, Taylor's like behind the scenes TikToks and stuff like with her producers and
Speaker 3 being like, I appreciate my kids, like baby daddy, like bringing them up to be with me. And like, it's, yeah, it is pretty interesting.
Speaker 1 So what is going on with Dakota and Macy and Michaela? Because they are fighting in the comments.
Speaker 3 This is a great question.
Speaker 3 I just know that I saw Layla comment and said, you're looking real brave since Taylor doesn't have access to her phone to clap back.
Speaker 3 One more time for you, since you have a hard time comprehending, it's not what you did, it's who it was with.
Speaker 3 And then Macy chimed in
Speaker 3 in quotes, I think, like, we're on a break. So I tried to hook up with someone Taylor considers family.
Speaker 2 Something along those lines. It was like her mom's friend, wasn't it?
Speaker 3 Allegedly.
Speaker 3 The headline that I saw was that he was in trouble with the girls because of the something in the storyline coming out about him sexting with Taylor's mom, Taylor's mom's friend.
Speaker 2 That's a wild choice. That was a wild choice.
Speaker 3 Well, also, I don't know. I was watching the first couple episodes.
Speaker 3 It all happens in like episode nine and 10.
Speaker 3 Well, the girl, Shayla, Shana, whoever, the girl that came out where Taylor was upset with, she's in like the first episode standing next to Miranda at the event.
Speaker 3 Isn't there like a clip of them kissing on like the Stagecoach shuttle? Oh, no.
Speaker 3
But didn't like Taylor and Dakota were like rekindling at Stagecoach. Yeah, they were like at least friendly during that period of time.
But the girl wanted to kiss with Taylor, and Taylor said no.
Speaker 3 But we do, season three is out. We are going to be covering one through three this episode, and then we will do three through six on Thursday.
Speaker 1 What did you all think of the first couple episodes?
Speaker 1 It really kicked off with, obviously, Jesse's story, because if you don't remember, season two ended with the accusation from Layla and Marciano that Jesse and Marciano were having an affair and specifically had sex.
Speaker 1 Opening up season three, like diving into that accusation, Jesse is claiming they didn't have sex. Marciano is.
Speaker 3 Before we get to Jesse, I did appreciate them like updating us on where everyone is. And I was like mind blown by Whitney just like not like.
Speaker 3 I do wonder if this is going to affect how like her outcome on Dancing with the Stars because of how it's all shown here, where it's like she wasn't part of the show.
Speaker 3 And then the second Dancing with the Stars was presented, it's like, nope, I'm back.
Speaker 3 I will say even watching it too, I kind of had that thought as well because it was like Whitney didn't come back because she wanted tickets to the Oscars and a role in a scripted series.
Speaker 3 And I was like, oh, there she is. Yeah.
Speaker 3
After I was rooting for her so hard on Dancing with the Stars, like, okay. I know she won me back, and then she might have lost me, but we'll find out.
Stay tuned.
Speaker 2 Yeah, we'll find out.
Speaker 3 And then, and then, yeah, we get into the Jesse and Jordan of it all, and they really lay out exactly what happens, that Jesse kissed Marciano twice and had an emotional affair.
Speaker 3 But we also see like what led Jesse to that moment, right?
Speaker 1 Well, first of all, I think it's really important that like they didn't sleep together.
Speaker 2 I mean, I think that's pretty clear at this point.
Speaker 1 Maybe some fans don't believe Jesse. I don't believe her.
Speaker 2 I believe her.
Speaker 1 But like, again, when it comes to lie detector test on reality TV, who knows what to believe? But Marciano,
Speaker 1 I mean, again, he's also a liar, but he acknowledged that he lied about it and then claimed that Demi was part of the reason. Like, it was Demi's idea.
Speaker 1 Has Demis spoken out about that at all because to me that that is a crazy
Speaker 3 assuming that's true that's an insane thing to do to your and then friend slash co-star to be at a event a working event and the do the whatever you've the oh my god the fucking
Speaker 2 infectious
Speaker 3 hands signal at this event yelling across the room you fucked Marciano twice was the most jarring thing I've seen from a grown woman in a long time. And I've seen a lot.
Speaker 1
But then we come to find out that like what happened was Jesse and Marciano hang out. Not appropriate given that she's married.
Not only do they hang out, they spend the night together.
Speaker 1 Like that, Jesse acknowledges that.
Speaker 3 But they were on a break.
Speaker 1 Yeah, they also, according to the show, Jesse was like, they're on a break, which I thought, I felt it was kind of like relevant information that wasn't really.
Speaker 2 It was kind of slept under the rug.
Speaker 3 They were literally on a break. It was friends all over again.
Speaker 2 Like, I get it.
Speaker 3 I get, I understand the fact that like when you're separated or on a break, like sometimes there are rules that are either discussed or not discussed, which I think that could have been like the fatal error is like to not discuss boundaries.
Speaker 3
And then if you cross one, it's like, you should have known. Yeah.
So I understand, I see like literally every side of it. I'm like, I totally,
Speaker 3 I don't want to say get it, but I'm like, I understand why this has become such a big issue, but I also understand why sometimes it's maybe graced over that they were like on a break.
Speaker 3
So I'm like, well, if they were planning to work through it, I don't know. It's, it's tough.
It's tough territory.
Speaker 1 It's tough. I mean, on a break when you're married is different when you're like just dating.
Speaker 2
Right. Right.
Cause like, still my wife.
Speaker 1 What do you mean, like, we're, you're still my wife? You know, like, so I can understand why that's like, I don't know, kind of a gray area.
Speaker 2 But like,
Speaker 1 basically, Marciano, it sounds like what happened is they go out, they get drinking, go, go drinking, they get fucked up, and Marciano wakes up the next day and just like assumes he had sex with Jesse.
Speaker 3 Right. Because he had,
Speaker 2 you know, something in his hands.
Speaker 1 Now, that part felt kind of made up, but I don't know.
Speaker 3 Yeah, maybe he had a interesting detail.
Speaker 2 Yeah, that's also
Speaker 3 a Viagra type thing, right?
Speaker 2 Like he took like a B.
Speaker 3
Yeah, so he took that. So I have to assume that like anything that got in the region could have created any kind of stimuli.
Exactly. There's stimulation.
Speaker 3 They could have rubbed up against each other a little too hard.
Speaker 4 You know who also was in Vegas with us during BravoCon?
Speaker 2 Who?
Speaker 4 Marciano.
Speaker 1 Who is he really? We didn't see him, but ran into the cameo ladies who work for the company Cameo, and they had a dinner with, and he was like the featured guest. Oh, wow.
Speaker 3 I met Marciano recently.
Speaker 2 You met him?
Speaker 3
I met him at a bar recently. Yeah.
What do you think?
Speaker 2 A couple weeks ago.
Speaker 3 It was so brief, but I feel like the general consensus, like, I'm just like, I don't understand how this person has infiltrated.
Speaker 3 And I say that with respect to him for who he is and what he does, but I'm.
Speaker 2 I'm going to respect him, Susie.
Speaker 3
That's fine. I just, I just don't want to be like nasty, but I'm like, how have like you have infiltrated this like group of wives.
Yeah, so how has this happened to married women?
Speaker 3 So he got fired from Vanderpump Villa. Him bringing flowers to meet up with Jesse in the hotel room after all that has happened was the craziest thing I've ever seen.
Speaker 3 Also, I think that this like adds to Jesse's theory and story where it's like he obviously has feelings for her and she's like, okay, so she broke up with him abruptly, ghosted him.
Speaker 3
And it feels as though maybe he's petty because he obviously has feelings for her. He brought her flowers and though he's acting towards her.
So I'm like, I feel like he was just hurt.
Speaker 3 And then whether Demi influenced him or not, like to me, it feels as though he basically saw the situation and was like, oh, she did me dirty. So I'm going to get her back with this.
Speaker 3 And that's why he came out and said that she had sex because it's obvious he has feelings for her when I'm like, she's married. Like,
Speaker 3 yeah.
Speaker 1 And I think he justified saying that because he couldn't remember, you know, so it wasn't like a, it's like, I think he convinced himself it wasn't a lie, you know, in a sense, right? Right.
Speaker 3 And then having to me, like, being like, yeah, you did.
Speaker 1
You know, like, yeah, like, you can almost picture Demi being like, well, clearly you guys had sex. Of course.
What do you mean you slept in the same bed and didn't have sex type of thing?
Speaker 1
He's like, you're right. I fuck.
You know, like, I can see how he convinced himself in a way where like it almost felt like he wasn't lying in a crazy way. But clearly he was.
Speaker 1 I mean, what do you guys think about the Jesse and Jordan relationship? Obviously, we dive deep deep into it and tomorrow's going deeper in the relationship.
Speaker 1 But like, you know, this is one of those classic conversations about like, you know,
Speaker 1 you never want to justify infidelity. But I mean, like, people do have their breaking points.
Speaker 1 And to be honest, I was kind of like, after hearing a little bit about Jesse's side of things, you know, like, to me, I kind of honestly, the fact that they just kissed, I almost was like, didn't think it was, not to sound like it wasn't that big of a deal, but I, I really empathize with Jesse.
Speaker 1 I, I don't, you know, I don't want to justify her choices, but at some point where you're in an emotionally, potentially abusive relationship and a person's beating you down and kind of taking away your, your
Speaker 2 sparkle.
Speaker 1 And, you know, Jordan comes across as a guy who.
Speaker 1
Jesse is independently successful. She was a millionaire before the show even started.
She has her businesses. Jordan doesn't seem to have that going on.
Speaker 1 He's like making dad, like trying to get dad talk going.
Speaker 1 And it seems, it comes across as he takes out his lack of confidence in what he's doing out on his wife, who is, you know, not only very successful in business, but also a TV star.
Speaker 3 I felt like the conversation on the couch was very telling between the two of them, where he was like, you know, and what are you going to say to our son?
Speaker 3 And she's like, I'm going to tell him the truth. And he's like, oh, so you're going to tell him that you cheated on me? It's like, disrespected his father.
Speaker 1 he disrespected his father yeah but like in that moment you could tell that no matter what jesse said jordan was going to have a problem with it right if he if she was like well i'm not going to say anything he would have been like what you think you can just hide this you know like i feel like jordan wanted jesse to look bad i yeah i mean i think him leaving her at the party alone
Speaker 3 like i mean i don't care how big a fight you guys are in like
Speaker 3
He didn't even say goodbye. He just like stranded her there, just left her at this party.
And then like Michaela had to tell her that he left.
Speaker 3 And it seems like he doesn't really have the empathy for her in the sense where she's like, if you were to just sit there and ask me questions and we can like have a conversation, which I think it's really important how couples handle conflict because it's like, you have to be willing to hear somebody out, hear where they're coming from, why they think the way they are, versus just telling them that they're wrong, no matter what they do.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 3 And I, I understand that he probably has a lot of stuff that he's dealing with too, especially in that moment. He's been holding it in for so long.
Speaker 3 But when he left her at the party, I honestly honestly was like, this tells me a lot about how you are in a relationship.
Speaker 3 Because if you are making the active choice to move forward, then you're, you're in it. And if you're leaving a party without your wife, without any information, like that is just total abandonment.
Speaker 3 And it's probably in publicly rewounding all the stuff that she's already feeling about herself.
Speaker 3 And I'm not justifying what she did, but I'm like, this is giving us a lot of information about who he is. And it was a really big red flag for me.
Speaker 3 It was also for no, it seemed like for no reason, like he was upset that all of a sudden she was
Speaker 3 doing her job with Layla, but she wasn't even, she was just like having a conversation.
Speaker 2 It was like for no reason. Well, I looked at it for a reason.
Speaker 1 Like it seemed to me like he like wanted our sympathy.
Speaker 1 You know what I'm saying? Like he was.
Speaker 3
Woe is me. My wife doesn't pay attention to me.
Yeah.
Speaker 1
Like he was. painting himself as the victim.
And again, sure, when it comes to Jesse's choices and what happened to Marciano, yeah, sure, he's a victim.
Speaker 1 But the amount of times he said on camera, you had the affair, you had the affair, like very much just like wanting people to hear that while simultaneously like brushing over his behavior or not even acknowledging it.
Speaker 1 Yeah. I mean, there's to your point, Susie, I just,
Speaker 1 it seems like
Speaker 1 Jordan doesn't have a set of standards. of like, as a man, here's how I carry myself in my relationship.
Speaker 1 Here's how, you know, I have certain non-negotiables as a husband about how I'm going to treat or talk to my wife, regardless of how she treats and talks to me.
Speaker 1 He seems to lack those standards and justifies how he feels as a reason to, you know, treat Jesse.
Speaker 3 I did think he was valid in his reaction when Jesse invited Marciano to dinner.
Speaker 1 That was crazy.
Speaker 3 Yes.
Speaker 2
I can't believe that. He had every right to be upset about that.
Yeah, 100%.
Speaker 3
I was Team Jesse the whole time until that happened. And that one decision was like just, and Taylor said it too.
Yeah, I audibly said, what?
Speaker 2
Nope. Wrong choice.
Nope.
Speaker 3
I agree completely. I do think that was a poor decision.
And honestly, this kind of like makes me look at just this industry in general.
Speaker 3
It's really tricky because obviously we're constantly networking. We're constantly like meeting new people that are either like of the same sex or different sex.
And it's like, you're networking.
Speaker 3 We're friends, whatever, but like you have to be super respectful of boundaries when you are in a committed relationship.
Speaker 3 And I think this industry makes that in any industry really, I guess, where you're having to network.
Speaker 3
But I'm like, the lines get blurred, but that moment for me, I was like, Jesse, I feel like in this moment, like we're all rooting for you. We are all rooting for you.
Like make good decisions. Yeah.
Speaker 3 And she like looked really hot on purpose, too. Like you could tell that she like did her, you know, like she put on her two-piece commented on how good her ass looked.
Speaker 2 Right. Yeah.
Speaker 3
Like she knew what she was doing. It was very flirty.
He brought her flowers. She wasn't upset about it.
Speaker 1 It was definitely a bad look look for jesse i mean again what listen and watch tomorrow is going deeper in the next two episodes obviously we've had this conversation with jesse and jordan and we've heard all the details about this relationship so we feel a certain way
Speaker 3 and i think you can probably get the gist of it and uh and in those details tomorrow i also didn't love her reading her text between her and marcia like trying to prove that they didn't have sex and jordan was like an ear shot there it felt
Speaker 3 i was like and they were an innocent tech. Maybe in that, and maybe that was editing.
Speaker 3 Maybe he could not hear a single word she was saying and he just like happened to be like in the back of the camera shot. But like if he could hear her, that was
Speaker 2 tough. That was tough.
Speaker 3
Yeah. But I did, I felt like in that moment, she was almost like desperate for her friends to believe her.
And that's when I was watching it, I was like, wrong time, wrong place.
Speaker 3 But also like, I, I feel as though she was just like, I need my girlfriends to know that like we did not have sex and this is how I'm going to prove it.
Speaker 3 Also watching her tell Macy and Michaela, I felt like was such a beautiful moment of just like friendship and her like breaking down and being like, I understand if you never want to be my friend again.
Speaker 3
And they're like, we will always be your friend. Like this was not okay.
And like, don't ever do this again, but like we're here for you and we'll support you through this.
Speaker 3 And it was just like such a beautiful scene to see.
Speaker 1
And obviously we talk about it with Jesse, but I get what you're saying about the text. I don't think Jordan hurt him.
I give her some grace because of like, it's a TV show and they're doing a scene.
Speaker 1 Totally. But to your point though, I kind of get also give her credit because like you could tell like she knows she's going to look bad when she's reading them.
Speaker 2 Right.
Speaker 1 And it's like a damned if you do, damned if you don't. It like clears her name in the sense that they like it definitely comes across as like they didn't have sex based off the messages that she read.
Speaker 1 But also these messages, given the fact that she is married, are terrible. Like, I mean, and if you are Jordan, it would be very hard to hear that your wife did did that for sure.
Speaker 1 So, I guess what I'm saying is Jesse knows she's going to look bad. And
Speaker 1
I just appreciate Jesse. Like, she seemed like she has, she, she's not, she's acknowledging her mistakes.
Yeah. Right.
You know,
Speaker 3 she handled it that part really well.
Speaker 1 And I'm just not seeing Jordan acknowledge his. It's, it's frustrating because, again, like, obviously, infidelity, it's a terrible thing and it's very destructive and it's hurtful.
Speaker 1 Of course, it's not a justification, but there are situations where like you, you can empathize with why someone maybe made a very poor mistake that they regret, a la Jesse.
Speaker 1 And it's frustrating to see Jordan,
Speaker 1 I guess no better way of saying it, weaponize Jesse's mistake is a way to almost completely clear his name with some of the behavior that if I was in that relationship, I would be a shell of myself.
Speaker 1 You know, and I just don't know what you, you know, people have their limits. They do.
Speaker 1 They, you know, that is just a a reality of life that's not the case for every situation where there's infidelity but in this particular case i you know my opinion and when i'm watching it is that jordan wants the public sympathy he wants jesse to look bad uh that's just my opinion and uh yeah it was hard to watch can i just say though i really appreciate the way the show is
Speaker 3
like letting this play out. Like, I, I actually was watching it and I was like, this is such a good show because it's real life.
It doesn't feel fabricated.
Speaker 3 Like people experience this, and it's really just like refreshing to see how Jesse kind of just owned it and was like, I'm sick to my stomach. And like, I have to now sit here and like take this.
Speaker 3
And I just think, I just love it. Like, I'm watching the show and I'm like, this is so good.
This is like real. It's truly like reality TV again.
And I love that.
Speaker 3
I saw some TikTok someone made and it was like, you know, I love this show. I'm obsessed with this show.
It's like such real life. It's so relatable.
Speaker 3 But then they're like talking about, you know, all of this stuff that's so real and relatable and serious. And then being like, I don't know if mom talk can survive.
Speaker 3 And it's like, that really takes the like seriousness out of it.
Speaker 2 It's like.
Speaker 3
They got to lose that. They got to lose the line.
That bread is the funniest part. You got to get up, Macy.
Macy don't know if mom talk can survive. I know.
Yeah, it's a little dramatic.
Speaker 3 Or when Marciano admitted it, she was like, mom talk survives.
Speaker 2 I know.
Speaker 1 Anyways, we'll dive even deeper into Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Thursday following part one of the Jesse Jesse and Jordan interview.
Speaker 1 As a reminder, part one is just Jesse next week, and she really gets into the whole relationship with her and Jordan, talks about their relationship and what, you know, kind of led to their falling out, and a lot of your questions are answered.
Speaker 1
And then part two, the week following, we have Jesse and Jordan together. First, it's just me and Jordan.
We address some of his behavior, and then we wrap up with Jesse and Jordan together.
Speaker 1
It is a part two extravaganza. You definitely do not want to miss.
So be be sure to check that out. All right, we're going to wrap things up with The Real Housewives OC part two.
Speaker 1 This is really giving part two in the sense of like, maybe we could have just had,
Speaker 2 you know, part three.
Speaker 1 Am I the only one who kind of felt that? I felt like it was 45 minutes of like, whatever.
Speaker 3 That's like part twos usually are kind of that. I was like, I think the mat coming out was probably the most interesting part to me.
Speaker 2 I agree.
Speaker 3
That stole the show for me. Yeah.
If you have no idea what we're talking about or you missed the most recent episode of The Real Housewives Housewives of Orange County, here is your rapid recap.
Speaker 3 All right, and we're back to these psychos. Jen claims she never single white female Tamra.
Speaker 3 Tamara acknowledges Jen might have just wanted to be skinny and blonde like literally every other woman in OC.
Speaker 3 Heather says Gina opened up to her about her dreams of being a comedy writer, which was why Heather was so hurt by Gina making fun of her taking improv classes.
Speaker 3 However, it's important to note that aspiring comedy writers with no intention to do anything about it are the meanest to you when you earnestly work towards your sketch, comedy dreams.
Speaker 2 Clearly, that is written by Mary.
Speaker 3 Also, during this performance, Shannon and Andy have a sidebar about if Shannon is allowed to use the bathroom, so it basically is an improv show.
Speaker 3 During the break, Katie cries, and Shannon eats her meal prepped shredded chicken out of a plastic baggie. Relatable queens.
Speaker 3 Gretchen is mad that Katie said her apology text for a racist TikTok was made by ChatGPT, so she apologizes in real life, and it's okay now, I guess.
Speaker 3
Gretchen also calls lying about going to the hospital a miscommunication. Then Matt comes out.
Gretchen says he called Eddie gay at the maestro's dinner. No one really cares.
Speaker 3 Andy then denies that Sheena plotted all of this naked-wasted hospital stuff to get Gretchen back on the show.
Speaker 3 He says it's because she ate down during Ultimate Girls' trip and not because of Sheena Shea. Also, apparently, Slade isn't at reunion because he doesn't want to be on camera.
Speaker 3
And Matt is like, this is a man on his fourth housewife. Don't believe it.
Gretchen clarifies it. Actually, no, Ellen, that's not the truth.
She is his third housewife. Boom, roasted.
Speaker 3 And that's it for part two.
Speaker 1 I thought the most interesting part of this episode was that not only was Katie was not on some of these episodes, but like she didn't get paid.
Speaker 3 Right. I mean, yeah.
Speaker 3
And Jen kind of like denying that she like did play some sort of part in that. Jen couldn't take any accountability.
And her story doesn't really add up of like, I have no idea what Naked Wasted is.
Speaker 3
And then she's like, oh, wait, this is what Naked Wasted is. And it's like, okay, break it down.
Clearly, there was a communicate. There was some conversation at Maestro's.
Speaker 3 I don't know if you were zoned out or zoned in, but like,
Speaker 3 you were there for it.
Speaker 1 I don't know who is to blame for Katie's paycheck being affected, but someone is.
Speaker 1 And, like, whether Katie is or isn't lying, she wouldn't be the first housewife to lie or not lie, right? Like, we're in the middle of like, what did Tamra
Speaker 1
do or not do? I don't know. Chances are, Tamara won't be like left off episodes.
So, clearly, the reason why Katie was left off some of these episodes was how the other women felt about her.
Speaker 1
Which women, how they felt about her or how strongly, we don't know. But how the women felt about her is why she wasn't on it.
And that affecting her paycheck is like, she has a right to be upset.
Speaker 1 I think what Katie means is that, like, Jen was like her one friend.
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 1 And if she has no one to film with, then she's, you know, everyone else is refusing to film with her.
Speaker 1
And then Jen, who she thought her friend was, was the person who would still do like scenes with her and justify her coming on. She abandoned her.
And I think that's kind of what she means by it.
Speaker 3 I mean, if we don't get a
Speaker 3 reason as to why katie was not on the last episodes and we don't get a yeah shannon or someone had this conversation like andy knows the truth and we have katie being like gin you took paychecks out of my and like everyone's just sitting there quiet it's like someone knows the truth yeah you know we have andy cohen who is head honcho like tell us what happened yeah i want to know The same way that he broke down Sheena Shea not being a part of the naked wasted situation, then it's like, then break down to us why we didn't get Katie on two group trips and episodes in between.
Speaker 3
Exactly. I felt honestly like I believed Katie the whole time over Gretchen.
Same. Same.
I'm fully on Team Katie and Matt even. I'm like the two of them coming out together.
Speaker 3 I'm like, I'm sorry, but I believe them. And like even seeing Matt and Shannon being like,
Speaker 3
you know, Gretchen, like stop saying anything. He's shaking.
It's like, of course he's shaking. Like he doesn't want to do this, but he's here supporting his wife.
His wife, right?
Speaker 3
And, like, that should tell you something. I agree.
And he was like clapping back, being like, did you watch the show? The texts are on there.
Speaker 2 Right.
Speaker 3 And Gretchen, the thing that bothers me about that side of the couch is that they do have a habit when somebody's in the middle of telling their story or defending their side, they jump and be like, oh, do you want me to say what you said?
Speaker 3
And it's just like, let them finish their part. And then you will have your moment to speak.
But it's like, I feel like you want to cut them off.
Speaker 3
So if they can't finish the sentence, we'll never know what the end of that sentence was. It's like a misdirect.
Yes, 100%. That it's like, oh, you called Eddie gay.
Speaker 3 Well, Gretchen, you've been on the show calling Eddie gay for years. So you could tell Katie was like explaining how that even came about.
Speaker 3 And it was like, Gretchen, it came because you and Slade said you walked in on Eddie, you know, and it was like that was just talked over and not a thing. It's like, I, this.
Speaker 1 It is funny, though, at Gretchen's booth was across from us. And Slade was the only Bravo husband.
Speaker 1 I guess they're, I don't know, whatever you want to call them.
Speaker 1 He was in the crowd taking pictures of, you know, all the other husbands were like in the backdrop, kind of just like being supportive of their wives. He was up in there.
Speaker 1 Fun fact you may or may not care about.
Speaker 3 I feel like the girls on that side of the couch were like digging their own grave with it all, though, because I'm like, I just, I feel like as we watched the season go on, the fans kind of came to Katie's side and everybody was pissed that she was off the show.
Speaker 3 And I'm like, you guys are doing it again, though.
Speaker 1 I think it's because you're doing it again. Like, it's really not about what Katie did or didn't do.
Speaker 1 It's just more like, I think a lot of Bravo fans, and rightfully so, are just kind of like, you guys are being hypocrites.
Speaker 1 Like, you're just, whatever Katie is doing or not doing is no different than what you've all done. And you all figured it out and you all fought.
Speaker 1
And the fact that Katie is new and what they all did to Katie at last season's reunion. Yep.
It just, it kind of gives bully.
Speaker 1 It kind of gives do as I say, not as I do, rules for me, not for thee, or, you know, stuff like that, where it's just like, hey, like, again, maybe Katie is lying.
Speaker 1 Maybe she is talking to bloggers too much, but like, work it out and let us watch it unfold rather than like put her on pause or shelve her because like you don't want to engage with her.
Speaker 1 And I think a lot of Bravo fans are kind of like, fuck this.
Speaker 3
Yeah. 100%.
I'm just still confused as how a miscommunication is, yes, I went to the hospital, a direct answer versus like, I think a miscommunication is like, oh, no, that happened on Tuesday.
Speaker 3
It actually happened on Thursday. I'm so sorry I misspoke.
I'm like, I feel like we all witnessed her lying on TV. Multiple
Speaker 3
witnessed her say, I, oh, I did go to the hospital. And it's like, we all saw you say it to Tamra.
We saw you say it. Yes.
Like, you really can't fight this as a miscommunication. You know?
Speaker 2 Yeah.
Speaker 3 And then also having, I did really respect Jen when she's going back and forth with Tamra and she's like, you know, talking about the extensions and the you wanted to be me and you wanted to be on TV.
Speaker 3
And Tamara's like, well, you bought a house next door to me. And she's like, what street? I never lived on that street.
That I never, I never owned a house on that street.
Speaker 3
She's like, well, the street over. And she's like, yeah, I lived on it.
Well, and she's like, you didn't live there. You weren't even living with Salmon at the time.
Speaker 3 It's like, you can just tell the way that Tamara's brain works and like ways to try to like, I don't know, spending time with it. I feel like it is crazy.
Speaker 3 Yeah, I feel like it's like she gets validation from like her inner circle and they like talk their shit.
Speaker 3 And then it's like, wait, that's not reality, but you bring it into the world as if it's reality and it gets shut down. Yeah, it's like being like Delulu with your girlfriend.
Speaker 2 Yes. Exactly.
Speaker 3 Yeah, that never happens.
Speaker 1 All right. Well, part three will be next week.
Speaker 1 And that is, I think, the episode we are all waiting for because we have definitely been waiting to get to the bottom of the Gretchen and Tamara controversy. Did Gretchen do it?
Speaker 1
Is she being set up by Tama or someone else? That'll all be next week. I think that will do it for today's episode.
