Speaker 5 So that way you always get your episodes.

Speaker 3 But enough of that, let's get right back into the episode.

Speaker 30 So now we go to Heather's house and her daughters walk into Heather's office and like, oh my God, mom, it looks so nice in here.

Speaker 33 Where did you get all this stuff?

Speaker 32 I ordered it from Wayfair, all from the same price.

Speaker 37 I was like, oh my God, my goodness, shills for Wayfair.

Speaker 9 Anyway, we're going to take a commercial break now when we'll talk about Wayfair.

Speaker 38 We'll talk about the new things we got from Wayfair.

Speaker 25 I love that Wayfair, like somewhere in Wayfair's meetings, they're like, you know who our people are?

Speaker 11 Bravo people.

Speaker 23 Those are our people.

Speaker 20 Just get every fucking Bravo person in our chairs.

Speaker 41 They got it.

Speaker 42 Heather says, I can hardly recognize myself right now.

Speaker 11 I'm like, girl, you and me both.

Speaker 43 She's like, I've lived in a small home.

Speaker 11 No kidding.

Speaker 16 Do you have any tips for the rest of us? Jeez.

Speaker 33 She's like, I lived in a small home for 20 years, raised my kids there.

Speaker 34 Now I have this huge house with my own office with a pool and three daughters going to college and a stack of books that are on the New York Times bestseller list three times over.

Speaker 32 God, I don't recognize myself.

Speaker 45 I even have bird binoculars now.

Speaker 14 Look, daughters.

Speaker 46 And she has binoculars on her desk.

Speaker 15 And they're like, uh, that's kind of creepy.

Speaker 45 She's like, no, it's fulfilling and rewarding. I can see pool boys.

Speaker 40 And we flash forward.

Speaker 23 And poor thing, I mean, these are definitely winter pool boys, you know.

Speaker 41 Well, I guess.

Speaker 53 Get back to the mines.

Speaker 22 You know, they're all covered in like soot, like they've been out of the mines.

Speaker 41 I know.

Speaker 41 They're really going at it.

Speaker 42 Then we have tense music and we go to a place called M Vincen Nail Spa.

Speaker 41 I'm like, M. Vince?

Speaker 30 That's very exciting.

Speaker 7 So

Speaker 30 Meredith is sitting in a chair, but she has like her boots on.

Speaker 55 It's like, I will not be getting a pandicure on television. You will not see my toes.
I'm sorry.

Speaker 56 You don't get to see that.

Speaker 23 Yeah. It's like, oh, you know what?

Speaker 57 Is there someone who can do my fingernail too? Because I broke one.

Speaker 23 Yeah, I had to do like regular entry, not global.

Speaker 6 It was so hard.

Speaker 58 Don't even ask.

Speaker 57 Okay, you know what?

Speaker 26 So, like, all this nonsense with lunch, like, I'm just like on the plane, like the lunch after the plane. Like, I'm just, it's like weird, right?

Speaker 39 Yeah, well, I'm most surprised by Heather.

Speaker 52 I mean, I didn't expect her to take my side, but at least give me some support as a friend. I mean, she was leading the charge against me.
She had the biggest problem.

Speaker 59 She was the judge and jury.

Speaker 52 She was the screenwriter of crazy rich Asian people.

Speaker 58 Just Asians.

Speaker 41 Oh, I didn't realize that.

Speaker 37 I was just weird and quite frankly, not as big of an issue as Whitney.

Speaker 55 Whitney Rose, why is she sitting there trying to judge me, my mental health, and my drinking? These are damaging, false rumors, and I would like to say nastiness to spread about somebody.

Speaker 57 Yeah, like when did Whitney get her psych degree? Like when did she get that? She's not a psych.

Speaker 64 What is she watching psych on USA? Cause she like knows psych now. Like psych.

Speaker 54 That's crazy psych.

Speaker 53 Well, from someone who's on every journey from under the sun, from kinning.

Speaker 60 Did she say kinning?

Speaker 2 Hilling.

Speaker 65 Hilling. Oh,

Speaker 14 I reminded three times.

Speaker 65 I said, what?

Speaker 45 I thought she said, kinning.

Speaker 39 From hilling to religion or whatever. I think she should focus on herself.

Speaker 65 Why me?

Speaker 42 So a producer asked Meredith, how do you plan to move forward with Whitney?

Speaker 2 I don't.

Speaker 66 And I love that Meredith.

Speaker 13 She always starts a feud mid-season and carries it to the next mid-season.

Speaker 54 She's like a student in college who starts in January, you know, like always like one semester off. It's always fun.

Speaker 40 So I feel like most seasons, everyone is always complaining through the first half of the season.

Speaker 23 Like Meredith doesn't do anything. Meredith is so boring.

Speaker 16 Meredith is just blah. She just shows up and eats, and that's all she ever does.

Speaker 46 And by the second season, she always owns the show, you know?

Speaker 69 But she's just that kind of person to me.

Speaker 70 It seems like she comes on.

Speaker 68 She's like, I'm going to keep it classy.

Speaker 39 I'm not going to be down to these women's level.

Speaker 52 I'm not going to fight and act like an idiot.

Speaker 15 And then they just keep poking, poking, poking.

Speaker 18 And then she just fucking loses it.

Speaker 22 And then she never lets it go.

Speaker 16 It's like once you piss her off, you've got like five years of pain ahead of you.

Speaker 58 Yeah.

Speaker 37 Well, it seems to me that they're trying to exacerbate the situation. Brittany.

Speaker 64 Yeah, I had a conversation with Brittany, by the way. She feels like emotionally, like she experienced like a lot.

Speaker 41 So we have a flashback and it's Lisa and Brittany.

Speaker 35 And Brittany is like i've just been hearing like what i've just been hearing with you is that like you just don't feel like you contributed to it no i don't because i didn't and i won't and i never will and i never have and i don't she's like yeah but like i just feel like you were like absolutely as complicit as the person accosting me Well, you know what?

Speaker 57 I think that your recollection of what happened on the plane is inaccurate. And I feel like I was trying to help you, like whether you want to believe it or not, but I was.

Speaker 73 But it was like literally the sixth worst thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life.

Speaker 20 It's the sixth worst.

Speaker 44 Sixth worst. Okay.
That's really high.

Speaker 73 Like statistically, that's very high. Like if you have a top 10 hit, that's like a big deal.

Speaker 45 I feel like I was helping.

Speaker 65 Oh, no. Sorry.

Speaker 45 That was Lisa's line.

Speaker 74 I mean, is there anything that you can say that's like, hey, Brittany, I'm sorry, dot, dot, dot, you know, anything like that?

Speaker 76 Yeah, well, I did apologize to you and I feel badly that you didn't feel like I was supporting you when I feel like I was with the apology I gave to you already.

Speaker 32 okay? Sorry, I gotta listen to more Kendrick Lamar now.

Speaker 57 So we cut back and Lisa's like, yeah, I feel like we're in a good place, but like, we're never gonna agree about what happened on the plane. But you know what? I feel bad that she was hurt.

Speaker 58 Yeah, she was hurt.

Speaker 27 Well, here's the thing, Lisa.

Speaker 55 As far as it goes with Brittany, I'm sorry for her. I'm sorry for her as a human being, period.

Speaker 42 That's why I'm going to be the bear person and move on.

Speaker 32 I mean, has she been horrible to me?

Speaker 55 Yes, but do I feel sorry for Brittany that she can't hold a relationship? That she struggles professionally, that her hair sometimes looks very bad and does need Keras.

Speaker 37 I mean, Angie was correct about that.

Speaker 55 100%. Yes.

Speaker 42 It's just kind of like, she's just kind of like a sad specimen.

Speaker 57 Yeah, but she asked how you feel. And I said, you know what? You should talk to Meredith about it.

Speaker 55 Well, thank you.

Speaker 37 I'm happy to talk to Brittany now that I've reframed her as a helpless nobody and decided to focus my attention on Whitney.

Speaker 49 So then we go to Whitney driving a U-Haul and

Speaker 77 where she calls it,

Speaker 32 I'm here with a U-All.

Speaker 23 I love that Whitney is like so cosmopolitan.

Speaker 78 She's like, she's such a woman of the world.

Speaker 65 It's like a U-Haul.

Speaker 8 Whitney is driving.

Speaker 8 Sorry.

Speaker 79 So Whitney is like, hey, lady on the phone, call call Heather Gay.

Speaker 71 And I won't say her name because, of course, every one in my house went off.

Speaker 80 I was like, who?

Speaker 45 Who?

Speaker 48 Which other?

Speaker 81 Which other would you like to call?

Speaker 35 Oh, gosh.

Speaker 36 And you have to be careful with that.

Speaker 30 So

Speaker 65 you actually have that number in mind.

Speaker 65 What if it?

Speaker 54 Could you imagine? It actually calls her during the podcast.

Speaker 31 Ronnie Karim.

Speaker 59 She's like, are you ready to apologize?

Speaker 44 Finally.

Speaker 76 This is a sisterhood, Ronnie.

Speaker 42 You've lost the privilege to speak on on your podcast.

Speaker 8 That would have been funny.

Speaker 77 I know.

Speaker 77 So,

Speaker 77 yeah.

Speaker 47 So she calls, so, you know, Siri.

Speaker 48 Gets all

Speaker 18 upset and confused in my house. So she goes over to Heather's house because they're going to move this mattress out.

Speaker 47 And Heather is dressed in a black lace dress and a Chanel belt to unload this truck.

Speaker 65 And Whitney's like, are we going to a funeral? Or what?

Speaker 76 Yeah, because it's death to the mattress.

Speaker 34 And so Heather's like, it's a funeral for the mattress.

Speaker 33 I didn't want to keep the marital mattress for 20 years because of a sentimental feeling.

Speaker 34 I was just frozen in time, like my face. Look, this is not a mattress tossing.

Speaker 33 It's a funeral for the life that is now going to go on forever.

Speaker 76 Or is gone forever.

Speaker 82 One of those two things. Sorry.

Speaker 39 So they move the mattress wackily.

Speaker 22 you know they lift it they lift it off the box spring and uh heather's in like stiletto heels or something she's like i think i broke the box spring with my heels.

Speaker 36 And then they're like moving the mattress out so you can see all like the body oil stains that are

Speaker 15 a nasty mattress. That mattress is nasty.

Speaker 40 And listen, I'm a boy and I've moved a mattress or two and they, you know, they're all nasty, but why would you put that on TV?

Speaker 51 That is horrible.

Speaker 41 This mattresses collect oils. What can I say?

Speaker 63 I wish I could say that my mattress will look better than that, but I that did not look like just oils.

Speaker 16 That looked like a horror show.

Speaker 23 That was a horror movie.

Speaker 11 Don't put that on camera.

Speaker 32 Figure that shit out.

Speaker 42 Different chemistry.

Speaker 41 As someone who has body oils himself, you know what?

Speaker 54 Sorry. Sometimes my mattress looks like that as well.

Speaker 65 Okay. You know what? Body oil all you want to.

Speaker 48 Don't put it on TV. There are some things you just need to keep to yourself.

Speaker 28 I will never move my mattress on TV because I do not want people to see how that looks.

Speaker 41 My body,

Speaker 9 I'm an oily.

Speaker 41 I'm an oily bitch.

Speaker 72 Yeah, it's nice, huh? It's fun.

Speaker 27 Fun thought thought to think of.

Speaker 46 So I'll just let everybody sit with that for a minute.

Speaker 28 Yeah, sit with it, everyone.

Speaker 72 Marinate in it.

Speaker 20 On this Thanksgiving as you're all driving home to your family's house.

Speaker 68 Just think of that.

Speaker 23 You're thinking of basting your turkey.

Speaker 11 I'm an oily bitch. I'm an oily bitch, bro.

Speaker 85 So Heather's like, rest assured, these are not sex stains. These are sisterhood stains.
Not one sperm was spilled on this mattress.

Speaker 54 God does not like waste.

Speaker 85 And I was a good, I was good in my marriage.

Speaker 42 Ronnie's, it's an emotional moment.

Speaker 54 It's goodbye to a mattress.

Speaker 7 I understand.

Speaker 40 I'm still on the oily bitch phase of this podcast.

Speaker 68 I'm just kidding.

Speaker 39 So she's like, This mattress has written two books.

Speaker 87 It's born two babies.

Speaker 75 It's spent 14 years in a marriage.

Speaker 45 This mattress is finally free.

Speaker 48 I just went to sleep.

Speaker 59 I'm not stained with 20 years of broken dreams. I just want a mattress that's not stained with 20 years of broken dreams.

Speaker 34 Can we stop talking about the mattress now? She's like, sure.

Speaker 42 Well, lunch.

Speaker 31 Meredith was a solid friend for years, and I never have been at war with her or been in a situation where I don't know how to defend her.

Speaker 31 But now she's put me at odds with the future of our friendship.

Speaker 39 I'm her scapegoat.

Speaker 89 I realize this.

Speaker 75 She just has to have someone to blame.

Speaker 68 Whitney, you're an asshole, okay?

Speaker 15 I'm T.

Speaker 23 Meredith against anything, Whitney, for sure.

Speaker 75 But I feel concerned for her because I really think she blacked out because sometimes it reminds me of what my dad was like.

Speaker 34 That must be so triggering.

Speaker 31 Another reason why we should be angry at Meredith.

Speaker 75 Yeah, because when someone blacks out, it's usually a combination of drugs or alcohol or a bad combination of prescriptions.

Speaker 11 And by not taking accountability.

Speaker 32 What?

Speaker 13 Sherlock Holmes over there.

Speaker 39 Wait a second.

Speaker 65 One of the reasons for blacking out.

Speaker 65 Stuck in traffic.

Speaker 35 Happens.

Speaker 64 I just realized, usually if you black out, it's because a combination of drugs or alcohol.

Speaker 58 It's like,

Speaker 84 yep, you're on one or prescription.

Speaker 22 You're on one today, that's for sure.

Speaker 15 Figured it out.

Speaker 68 So she's basically saying it reminds her of her dad.

Speaker 25 Because he said that he didn't have a problem for years too.

Speaker 18 And she was going to sit Meredith down and have the talk with her.

Speaker 68 And that was going to be her storyline.

Speaker 75 But she's like, but then I wouldn't have gone to lunch had I known that that little coward Bronwyn would run right to her like a venomous, hungry

Speaker 48 giraffe?

Speaker 39 No,

Speaker 61 you could do it.

Speaker 65 You can do it.

Speaker 79 Elephant.

Speaker 51 Oh, no.

Speaker 14 Again.

Speaker 86 Platypus.

Speaker 35 Actually, I think you just stumbled into that one correctly.

Speaker 84 Platypuses are actually venomous.

Speaker 6 So you got it, Whitney.

Speaker 89 That she would run to her like a venomous, hungry platypus.

Speaker 57 Good job, Whitney.

Speaker 76 No, the wid the, oh, oh, I was going to talk to her about it.

Speaker 37 It's like, everyone else, like, you had time.

Speaker 28 You had time, Whitney.

Speaker 48 So, yeah.

Speaker 80 And I love that Whitney is going to claim, like, I was never going to suggest that you were an alcoholic.

Speaker 39 And she's like, yeah, I was going to sit her down privately and tell her I thought she was an alcoholic who blacked out.

Speaker 62 Yeah.

Speaker 83 Would not have gone over well.

Speaker 54 So now we go to a serious place called like purple therapy or something like that.

Speaker 72 And Brittany enters with Olivia.

Speaker 13 And they are sitting there and Brittany is, Brittany tells us something that actually makes no sense, but you would just go with it.

Speaker 43 She goes, I'm still recovering from what happened on the plane ride and I'm very raw, but it gave me clarity on what I need to focus on.

Speaker 56 Olivia.

Speaker 36 I don't see how those are connected. And also, you know what should give you clarity on what to focus on? Olivia.

Speaker 84 Olivia should give you clarity

Speaker 41 on how to focus on Olivia.

Speaker 76 Like, why do you need, this has nothing to do with

Speaker 9 the airplane.

Speaker 70 Also, this is your second season, and you shouldn't be traumatized a week later after a housewife seen on a plane.

Speaker 65 Like, come on.

Speaker 32 Much worse.

Speaker 71 So, um, and also you talking about your trauma with after what you've put Olivia through.

Speaker 48 Seriously.

Speaker 68 So, I mean, I think it kind of goes to show who this lady is.

Speaker 70 So, Brittany, Olivia is there, and she's obviously, and we see the Ashley therapist.

Speaker 39 The lady, the therapist named Ashley, what the fuck is wrong with me?

Speaker 68 The therapist's name is Ashley, and we see her.

Speaker 65 And she's one of my favorite Bravo therapists.

Speaker 24 I believe that she's a therapist.

Speaker 87 And I thought she was pretty good.

Speaker 1 What do you think?

Speaker 42 She was pretty good. I mean, she seems so young.

Speaker 6 I was like, gosh, gosh, gee Willikers.

Speaker 6 Then my therapist is like really old.

Speaker 77 But

Speaker 77 she was good.

Speaker 43 This was actually a really moving scene.

Speaker 37 It was actually moving and compelling, I thought.

Speaker 77 So a little bit of a.

Speaker 69 Yeah, I want a therapist who's going to tell me this.

Speaker 47 Nothing's really your fault.

Speaker 70 It's all your mom's fault.

Speaker 19 Forgive yourself and go home.

Speaker 65 Okay, take my money.

Speaker 62 Yeah.

Speaker 6 And she basically, you know, Olivia says that when Brittany married this new guy, she just like threw herself in this new relationship and we were no longer a priority.

Speaker 6 And it's almost like she just wanted this guy to love her so much that she ignored us and like the other kids seemed to be more important.

Speaker 7 And so I moved to my dad's.

Speaker 72 And it was like seven years of her neglecting her kids.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 49 And she's like, she put all of her time into into celebrating the stepkids' wins, but not our wins.

Speaker 18 And she says the hardest thing is that she still feels a connection with her mom.

Speaker 46 And she's like, you know, and you haven't made the best decisions, but I still want a relationship, but my brain is telling me I'm going to get hurt.

Speaker 81 And Brittany's like, well, but I just wish I could tell you that I've grown and I would never do that again.

Speaker 74 And I would never allow myself to be put in a cage where I couldn't be a mother to my kids.

Speaker 58 Okay, that

Speaker 47 right there is where there's a huge red flag that shows me Brittany has learned nothing because she's still blaming other people.

Speaker 19 She was put in a cage. So she could, it was the husband's fault that she couldn't be a mother to her kids.
She was put there.

Speaker 46 So this lady has learned nothing, but she has learned how to keep her mouth shut, let her daughter say what she needs to say, minimize the damage and get the fuck out of there.

Speaker 65 So I'll give her credit for that.

Speaker 66 So Ash is like, well, that's trauma.

Speaker 83 You know, it's different, but it feels the same.

Speaker 84 And like, what's the goal?

Speaker 31 And Brittany's like, well, I don't really want anything right now.

Speaker 43 Maybe a steamer.

Speaker 35 Remember the steamers at, Olivia?

Speaker 54 No, she still doesn't remember the steamers.

Speaker 31 Anyway, I just want to go to the corner.

Speaker 68 Or a dry cleaner for my unicorn.

Speaker 65 Oh, my God.

Speaker 74 I just got the cutest little unicorn, Olivia.

Speaker 45 Wait, it's got a message for you.

Speaker 38 You are love, baby.

Speaker 11 Good night.

Speaker 61 I'm related to Donnie Osmond.

Speaker 66 The therapist is like, okay, well, Brittany, that's not how family therapy works.

Speaker 84 You are deserving too.

Speaker 31 Are you saying that I am loved?

Speaker 35 Yes, you are. Oh, sorry, someone else told me so.

Speaker 43 I'd like my money back, please.

Speaker 84 Okay, well, Well, you know what?

Speaker 36 You are deserving of getting what you need to move on in your relationship.

Speaker 6 And Brittany just basically says she doesn't feel like she's worthy of anything because she, you know, basically damaged her daughter so much.

Speaker 69 And Olivia's like, well, yeah, for some reason, I feel the same way, mom.

Speaker 14 And she goes, what?

Speaker 70 She goes, yeah, because, you know, I spent so much time being unlovable.

Speaker 15 You know, like your mom not loving you kind of does that.

Speaker 18 And so like getting to know people's heart.

Speaker 68 And once they get close, I'm afraid they'll leave me again.

Speaker 74 And she's like, oh my God, it's so heartbreaking because if I just made different choices, my kids wouldn't have that trauma.

Speaker 7 Yeah.

Speaker 63 And so Brittany feels really guilty.

Speaker 54 And Olivia is like, she's like, oddly enough, it's reassuring that she realizes what she did was wrong because I feel like your response is to shove it under the rug usually because you like to act like it's perfect.

Speaker 36 So to hear accountability makes me feel better.

Speaker 83 And Brittany is happy.

Speaker 84 And she goes, you're a real unicorn, which reminds me, Jared got me a unicorn.

Speaker 66 Did I play it for you, Olivia?

Speaker 6 She's like, yes, mother.

Speaker 78 Yes.

Speaker 46 Yeah, she didn't really say the unicorn unicorn thing, but that shit would be funny.

Speaker 51 You're a real unicorn, Olivia.

Speaker 11 I don't remember that.

Speaker 65 Sorry, I wrote that, and there was a note for myself.

Speaker 38 Thank you, Olivia. You're a real unicorn.

Speaker 8 It's time for a commercial.

Speaker 62 It's time for a crappin' commercial.

Speaker 12 Cold mornings, holiday plans. This is when I just want my wardrobe to be simple.
Stuff that looks sharp, feels good, and things I'll actually wear. For me, that's Quince.

Speaker 12 And the bonus, Quince pieces make great gifts too.

Speaker 80 I got a cashmere hoodie in like an oatmeal color, and it's finally time that I get to wear this thing. I'm wearing it all the time, and I look adorable and dashing.

Speaker 80 I love them for the wardrobe pieces like this, you know, when it's like cold, you get a nice sweater, a nice pair of pants. I mean, Quince is great for that.

Speaker 12 And I got a titanium watch band for my smartwatch that looks very chic.

Speaker 12 So this season's lineup is simple, but smart and easy with Quince, $50 Mongolian cashmere sweaters that feel like an everyday luxury and wool coats that are equal part stylish and durable.

Speaker 80 Their denim nails the fit and everyday comfort all at a fraction of what you'd expect to pay.

Speaker 70 Roman is going to a store with her mom and her daughter.

Speaker 78 It's a triple generation day trip.

Speaker 23 They're going to a store called Bonsai Buy Me.

Speaker 65 It's not funny. Ronwood's like, do you get get it, Muzzy?

Speaker 81 Get it? Bonsai by me.

Speaker 39 Get it?

Speaker 45 Get it, Muzzy. Get it?

Speaker 60 She's like, yeah.

Speaker 11 Still hollering.

Speaker 13 Did they go here on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?

Speaker 6 I feel like I've been here to this place before.

Speaker 76 So Muzzy is like, what's the point of

Speaker 37 growing a small tree?

Speaker 55 It's too late.

Speaker 37 It's too late. Well, who cares about a small tree?

Speaker 42 It's not going to help anything.

Speaker 85 So this guy's like, all right, guys, bonsai is about the beauty you see in the tree. So let's make a mess.

Speaker 63 Muzzy's like, I see no beauty.

Speaker 31 Can I go home now?

Speaker 32 And it's like all an oops.

Speaker 61 Gwen wants a plant for my chameleon and one for me.

Speaker 65 And Bron was like, well, I'm not a Zen person, but, you know, with everything going on

Speaker 65 with my parents and Todd, I need Zen.

Speaker 69 I should have worn my Valentino, though. Am I right, girls?

Speaker 54 Their first order of business is that they have to pull up these little bonsai trees and they have to take a chopstick and they have to like poke the chopstick into the soil to loosen the roots.

Speaker 32 And Muzzy is like, oh, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

Speaker 42 Like she just tears apart her bonsai, like, okay, Muzzy.

Speaker 32 All right, Muzzy.

Speaker 85 Okay, that's just eight decades of rage that she's got going on there.

Speaker 73 Put the chopstick down, Muzzy.

Speaker 81 So Bromwyn's like, okay, well, how many, how many chameleons can that tree handle?

Speaker 65 Because Gwen is talking about breeding Fezzi.

Speaker 42 It's true.

Speaker 36 I don't want to breed him, mother.

Speaker 42 I just want to give him your haircut.

Speaker 86 Well,

Speaker 43 we can see if Christian will make him a small little bronlin wig, but I think that's the best we can do.

Speaker 49 And Gwen's like, he's looking for a mate, mother.

Speaker 15 I'm not trying to mate him.

Speaker 81 And she goes, well, how do you know he's looking for a mate?

Speaker 19 She goes, because he sticks his penis out and walks around.

Speaker 45 Well, I do that.

Speaker 39 And I'm just looking for the remote control.

Speaker 48 You know, don't think you can read everybody.

Speaker 7 So

Speaker 42 then Gwen says,

Speaker 31 she says, I want to find her.

Speaker 42 And I want to find her.

Speaker 54 I want to find her, like this chameleon's girlfriend. She's in Portland.

Speaker 42 And I think it's a cool place, you know, because you told me you didn't want to to go to be up to BYU and you wanted to go to New York and have a new experience.

Speaker 35 So I want to do that too.

Speaker 34 You know, you can't stay in the same spot forever.

Speaker 32 Am I right?

Speaker 10 Unless you're Todd.

Speaker 13 He always just sort of sits there on the sofa and is always looking at that iPad.

Speaker 32 You're not looking at the iPad, are you?

Speaker 90 No, mother, I really don't want to ever look at his iPad ever again.

Speaker 81 And Bronwyn's like, well, I've just never been alone and I think it's pastime.

Speaker 74 I was an adult by myself, but I just wish she wasn't so excited to leave.

Speaker 21 And that says it's the daughter leaving me scene.

Speaker 6 Oh, but it's a double, it's double elimination because Bronwyn then looks to Muzzy and she's like, so, but you're staying right, mom?

Speaker 85 I mean, I hate you, but I would love it if you could stay.

Speaker 32 She's like, oh, no, not leaving.

Speaker 36 Yeah.

Speaker 37 I mean, but I should find my own place. You know, I can only

Speaker 13 stare at that hideous living room of yours for so long before I just want to faint from embarrassment.

Speaker 49 I was thinking of staying here for a little bit longer until you got those couches that look like Willy Wonka's hemorrhoids.

Speaker 65 I'm out of here.

Speaker 57 Is it Todd?

Speaker 31 Because I'll get rid of him. Joking, not joking.

Speaker 10 And she's like, well, I think Todd's going to get rid of you first.

Speaker 37 Hashtag oops. Am I right?

Speaker 81 Oh, don't tempt me with a good time, mother.

Speaker 48 Honestly, I know we're laughing, right?

Speaker 14 We're all laughing.

Speaker 65 That's hilarious.

Speaker 45 But, you know, it's really uncool that you two have planned this at the same time. You're just leaving me at the same time.
And Gwen's like, no one hates you, mother.

Speaker 87 Okay.

Speaker 48 We just need things. We need new things.

Speaker 31 It's just hard, sweetie.

Speaker 54 You know, I don't, you know, I don't want to leave you, but it's hard to come to a a bonsai shop and watch you nod so hard you poke a hole in your forehead with a tree.

Speaker 34 Okay, so let's come on now.

Speaker 56 Keep your head up, literally.

Speaker 35 Brom's like, well, it's just hard because these are the best days of her life are coming up.

Speaker 73 And these were the best days of my life being with her.

Speaker 44 And I just, no, I want her to do everything. And I just feel fine.

Speaker 42 Gee, Bromwyn, way to just like drop all that baggage on your poor daughter.

Speaker 32 I mean, let the girl go out and live her life. Oh, my God.

Speaker 56 What is wrong with her?

Speaker 68 Are you kidding? I can't tell. You sound like you're being sarcastic.

Speaker 56 No, I'm not kidding.

Speaker 10 I'm like, I don't think you should put that onto your child.

Speaker 42 You should not. I don't think that's, I don't think that's right.

Speaker 10 I'm sorry.

Speaker 36 I think this kid is like 19. She's about to go in the world, go off to college, experiencing new things.

Speaker 13 And I think independence is super important.

Speaker 44 And I don't think it's like very helpful if a mom is like, oh, no, but now I'm all, I'm left behind.

Speaker 48 I'm going to be, you may feel that.

Speaker 42 I'm not saying you can't feel that, but don't put it onto your child.

Speaker 10 Tell it to your therapist or tell it to your mom or tell it to Todd. Oh, go tell it to the mountain.

Speaker 68 I think it's nice to, you know, make your daughter feel.

Speaker 46 She's like, I'm going to miss you.

Speaker 52 I think she's just saying saying, like, I'm going to miss you.

Speaker 42 Say, I'm going to miss you.

Speaker 36 I love you.

Speaker 42 But like, don't, don't be like, you know, my, my best days are now officially behind me.

Speaker 10 I, like, I, I, I feel left behind.

Speaker 42 Oh my God.

Speaker 56 I feel like that does such a, I think that's like, I think that's such a trip on kids.

Speaker 36 Then they feel obligated that they have to come back.

Speaker 11 And it was like, no, live, be exciting, grow, grow those wings.

Speaker 55 Find chameleons to make sure that.

Speaker 23 Yeah, we were raised so differently.

Speaker 48 I'm like, this is pretty sane. This is pretty.

Speaker 44 Wait a second. You're the one who's always like, you know what, kid, erase that, erase your mother.

Speaker 85 She's toxic.

Speaker 32 I thought for sure you'd be like, yes, Ben.

Speaker 44 And I'm the one being like, shut up, let the kid go.

Speaker 78 No, I thought it was nice that she's, you know, she's sad for her kid.

Speaker 65 I don't know.

Speaker 69 To me, it's just like a kind of a typical thing, you know, of being like sad.

Speaker 41 Sentiment is nice stuff.

Speaker 6 Sentiment is nice because you love your child and she misses her child.

Speaker 13 Of course, that's lovely and beautiful.

Speaker 55 I just think,

Speaker 63 I think you should be careful when you say those things.

Speaker 42 Yeah, I'm not a parent.

Speaker 27 So who, but who the fuck cares?

Speaker 6 I just think like, I just think it's like, I feel like I've seen people in my life who could have flourished, but didn't because their parents guilted them into like staying, you know, close by or just kept a leash on them.

Speaker 54 And I just don't think that's healthy.

Speaker 31 Oh, yeah.

Speaker 69 Well, I mean, I think if she was doing that, that would be bad.

Speaker 68 But she's like, you know, I understand she has to go. It just hurts kind of thing.

Speaker 15 But, you know, this is also a Bronwyn scene.

Speaker 40 So, of course, it's like Bronwyn's going to be be the victim at the end of the day.

Speaker 45 You know, she's like, I just feel left behind by you leaving.

Speaker 74 And she's like, well, I mean, I just put so much into helping my mom when she was sick, you know, and now we've settled into a good place. I mean, we've just been so giggly.

Speaker 45 Could you look at the clip where she does a Ricky Ricardo line?

Speaker 49 And then we cut to her mom going, wow, you should really be like, Lucy, I'm home.

Speaker 65 And then they laugh. And I was like, where did this Muzzie come from? Because a couple of weeks ago, they showed her on here and she was an emotional terrorist.

Speaker 65 I know, I know uh

Speaker 27 so um yeah she's uh they're like basley bromwan's like really sad she's like i can't believe you guys are both leaving right now gwen's like mother i'm working on my bonsai and you're crying it's so embarrassing and she's like well guess what i'm gonna tanya harding both of you which is funny because that's the second time tanya harding has been used as a verb on bravo this week the other time was kizzy on below deck yes Yes.

Speaker 23 People brought Tanya Harding up twice this week on Bravo.

Speaker 50 What is going on with Tanya Harding?

Speaker 69 Is she going to get like some NBC special or something?

Speaker 13 She should be a real housewife at this point.

Speaker 28 I think we can all agree with that. I mean, she really is.

Speaker 54 She's kind of a

Speaker 63 real housewife of, I don't know where she's living these days, but like Podunk.

Speaker 30 But she would be a really good real housewife.

Speaker 13 If you want to hear all of our thoughts on Tanya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan, tune into our Below Deck Med recap because I'm not kidding you.

Speaker 90 We talked about it for five minutes.

Speaker 28 We like went down memory lane about that.

Speaker 62 So yeah, you know, go listen.

Speaker 18 Yeah.

Speaker 18 So

Speaker 23 Braun was like, oh, God, now I'm even getting along with my mother and she's moving out and so muzzy's like well when you were coming back from back and forth from san francisco and utah on the weekends i knew someday you'd move and it was hard i said god sometimes it's easier knowing where your failure is than just knowing it's out there lost somewhere in the world you know thank you mother thank you

Speaker 37 A failure in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Speaker 6 And again, isn't that how we got in this situation in the first place?

Speaker 44 Mother, you knew it was hard on me. So why are you doing it to me?

Speaker 48 And so now everybody's crying.

Speaker 40 Well, Gwen's not really crying, but the moms are crying.

Speaker 69 And Gwen's like, I'm working on my bonsai. Okay.

Speaker 67 So

Speaker 48 Gwen says, yeah, Muzzy just wants to bring her secret boyfriend over.

Speaker 65 It's like, oh, I would support that for her.

Speaker 45 Muzzy, do it, Muzzy.

Speaker 42 Muzzie's like, Bromwyn.

Speaker 33 A wise person once said, everything is fine.

Speaker 51 Everything is fine.

Speaker 58 Frazzled cat. Then we look at her bonsai tree.

Speaker 47 It's like stabbed to death.

Speaker 16 All the leaves have fallen off.

Speaker 40 The trunk is black and like over the end,

Speaker 8 over the edge of the pot.

Speaker 36 The branches are just going every direction.

Speaker 58 Everything's fine.

Speaker 62 Everything's fine.

Speaker 52 So

Speaker 13 now we go to Brittany.

Speaker 30 Speaking of, she's now going to this, she's walking across a bridge in some park, and Meredith is sitting on a bench.

Speaker 28 And it's very dramatic.

Speaker 35 Brittany's saying that she, you know, Meredith reached out and I'm here and I want to see if she'll own what happened because if she apologizes, I'm more than willing to own my part of it.

Speaker 55 Well, thank you for coming here today.

Speaker 37 It's really pretty and thank you for taking time out of your job to come here.

Speaker 63 That was a joke. We know you don't have a job, so I'm sorry for that.

Speaker 60 I came somewhere where we wouldn't have to argue over who's going to pay since you can't.

Speaker 39 So thank you for coming to this park bench.

Speaker 52 Now, I wanted to talk face to crazy face and tell you that I'm sorry that you heard me innocently talking to Lisa on the plane and it was definitely the wrong place and the wrong time and I feel terribly if I hurt your feelings because I would never want to do that during crazy wealthy Asian people

Speaker 65 doing things that they do. Because that was a good film.
So

Speaker 6 yeah, whatever that movie was about some sort of Japanese auto manufacturer.

Speaker 55 So I try to treat people with kindness and respect, and I don't feel like it's been an easy path for us with the way you've been over eavesdropping in on me just venting to a friend calmly and casually during a very fine movie.

Speaker 55 And I'm hopeful that we can move forward and at a bare minimum treat each other with kindness and respect.

Speaker 90 Just the way Michelle Yeo did the entire movie to Constance Wu.

Speaker 31 Oh my God, I remember the people in the movie.

Speaker 60 I I think I didn't catch the end.

Speaker 18 I'm hoping that the Michelle Wu lady was not one of the Busby Berkeley idiots because I hate swimming.

Speaker 23 And Brittany, there's a really long pause and Brittany's just like slitting her eyes like she's not sure.

Speaker 25 She's like waiting to be yelled at.

Speaker 67 And she's like, um, well, thank you.

Speaker 39 That means a lot.

Speaker 21 I still feel hurt and traumatized, but I have been really working on forgiveness lately.

Speaker 60 So she's like, you know and um meredith is just staring at her like

Speaker 8 your turn your turn

Speaker 16 she's just like there's a really long pause while britney slits her eyes and she's like well

Speaker 14 yeah

Speaker 14 okay well

Speaker 87 um i'm not aware of the intricacies of your relationship and it was a shitty thing to do to bring it to tick tock and i realize that tick tock is a trigger for you so i'm sorry as well.

Speaker 55 Well, to be clear, the real trigger was that you came in like you were trying to help me when you were actually trying to hurt me, which is funny because that's what Heather did to Lisa.

Speaker 6 But that's besides the point.

Speaker 69 Well, also, this comes from something that happened.

Speaker 80 I don't know where I heard this.

Speaker 23 They said it on Watch What Happens or something.

Speaker 18 What she's talking about is before the scene when Brittany goes and does the TikTok thing.

Speaker 23 She had just come to Meredith and Lisa's room and was like, oh my God, are you guys doing okay?

Speaker 68 Are you okay?

Speaker 19 You You know, like acting like she was their friend and saying, oh my God, Meredith, you look so pretty. Everything's going to be great today.
We're going to have a great day.

Speaker 22 Like trying to smooth it over.

Speaker 46 And then she gets up to lunch and is like, and I was on TikTok.

Speaker 28 And so that's what she means, I think.

Speaker 7 So funny. So

Speaker 65 shameless.

Speaker 84 So Meredith is like, well, I appreciate you being honest.

Speaker 55 I didn't expect that.

Speaker 10 And luckily for you, I've decided to move my rage over to Whitney Rose.

Speaker 37 So it's nice.

Speaker 55 You know, I apologize and she apologized.

Speaker 42 So I'll take that and I'm going to move on in peace and now we can have a pleasant little conversation.

Speaker 45 It's a pretty good thing.

Speaker 81 Well, yeah, it's been hard because there's such contention because everyone's been really torn this week and it's been a really big deal and I just don't want that to be a thing.

Speaker 81 So I don't know if we'll ever get there, but you know, we could try some civility.

Speaker 55 Civility.

Speaker 55 Anyway.

Speaker 55 Well, let's set the bar alow when we take baby steps.

Speaker 37 And I'm going to keep on walking back to my car while we talk because we know that apparently you can hear my voice over all the noise of a park, let alone headphones and an airplane. Am I right?

Speaker 61 So I would just like to say bye, Brittany. I'm saying it in this tone of voice.
You don't think I'm yelling at you with your supersonic earning.

Speaker 37 And just know that this is a hug.

Speaker 27 It's not me shaking you and pouring champagne over your head, even though I did just do that.

Speaker 5 But that's a love champagne,

Speaker 72 reconciliation champagne.

Speaker 19 Ah, baby steps.

Speaker 39 So there you go. It's over.

Speaker 23 It's done. Wow.
They've decided to move on.

Speaker 13 What a beautiful sentiment before Thanksgiving.

Speaker 7 I give thanks to this show.

Speaker 63 This was an amazing episode.

Speaker 41 I'm sorry.

Speaker 9 This was a great one.

Speaker 76 And God, Salt Lake City, it's always in the pocket.

Speaker 6 Always there.

Speaker 68 Yep. It's always a good one.
So thank you guys.

Speaker 20 What a great show full of wonderful turkeys for us.

Speaker 68 Always make us laugh consistently.

Speaker 24 And thank you guys, the audience, for always being here for us and allowing us to do this with our lives because because God knows

Speaker 23 I couldn't live a real life.

Speaker 16 So, thank you for this.

Speaker 46 You guys give us so much.

Speaker 69 And I don't mean monetarily, even though you do, but I mean just supporting and just allowing us to do this every day and your comments and coming to see our shows and coming to see us and meet and greets and writing us and everything that you do for us.

Speaker 22 You know, we know a lot of you really well and a lot of you were just getting to know lately, but you really do give us a special life.

Speaker 25 So thank you, everybody.

Speaker 79 And thank you, Ben.

Speaker 74 You're such a good friend and partner.

Speaker 67 I love you.

Speaker 39 I'm thankful for you.

Speaker 76 I'm thankful for you, too.

Speaker 84 If there's anything that BravoCon taught me two weeks ago during that wild, overstimulating experience is that I am supremely grateful for our listeners who were so kind to us all weekend long and came to our party and came to our panel.

Speaker 7 But I'm most appreciative of you, Ronnie, because that was such a wild ride.

Speaker 28 And I don't think I could have done it without you.

Speaker 83 I don't know how, I don't know how anyone could do it without you.

Speaker 97 Hello, I'm Matt Ford.

Speaker 98 And I'm Alice Levine, and we're the hosts of Wondry's podcast, British Scandal.

Speaker 97 In our latest series, Michelle Moan, we tell the story of a woman from Glasgow who left school at 15 and devised an idea. A next level bra that remolds the cleavage.

Speaker 98 An uplifting story which gives you a real boost. I hate myself.

Speaker 97 She moved from business to politics and, when Covid hit, says she knows a great company to supply PPE. And the company, PPE MedPro, made millions of pounds of profit from the contract.

Speaker 8 Oh, and a lot of the equipment was unusable.

Speaker 98 Oh, a minor detail.

Speaker 98 And having said that she had nothing to do with that profit repeatedly, she then goes on national television and says that her and her children are actually in line to receive nearly £30 million as a result of it.

Speaker 97 To find out the full incredible story, follow British Scandal wherever you listen to podcasts, or listen early and ad-free on Wondery Plus.
